他心念电转，正色道：「黑龙大哥，请恕我直言，大丈夫处身立世，当求无愧于心，活得光明磊落。触犯刑律，为世人所厌恶，又岂是丈夫所为？再说打家劫舍，落草为寇，又岂是长久之计？如若官兵再前来剿灭，覆巢之下，岂有完卵？黑龙大哥应趁早另谋他路。」
他一本正经地说完，心里却暗暗好笑，自己什么时候变得这么大义凛然了？
黑龙等人听出武天骄话中的拒绝之意，满脸失望的神情，黑龙强笑道：「武兄弟多虑了，现在天下盗贼多如牛毛，像我等小股盗贼，官兵岂又会为我们兴师动众？再说，我们做惯了盗贼，做其它事也做不来。」
乔仁杰道：「不对啊，大哥，我觉得武兄弟说得有理，我们落草为寇，确非长久之计。据闻，瀚海郡换了新郡首，新郡首便是帝国长二公主，武德公主。她最新上任，就对政事作出了种种革新，我还听闻其对各地盗贼多有注意，这美骚娘心狠手辣，我怕她到时发兵到各地剿灭，第一个拿我们开刀。」
武天骄听到这里，不由心头一凛，没想到瀚海郡的新郡首竟是武德公主，这倒是个重大消息，自己竟全然不知？
那罗磊文不以为然道：「打不过就跑，反正山高林密，我们到哪里都可以去。」
三人嘀咕了一阵，黑龙对武天骄恭敬地道：「人各有志，武兄弟，您做不来盗贼，但我们散漫惯了，其它正经的事也做不来。不过我等虽为草寇，但对恩义两个字却看得极重，武兄弟对在下的救命之恩，在下却永不敢忘，武兄弟在此住下，想住多久，就住多久！」
武天骄闻言心想：「这几人虽是草寇，但也确都是些汉子，且也有自己的主见，不是人云亦云之人。反正自己要先到风城去赴任，也不急于收揽他们，等到了风城再说，嗯，先打点关系也好，或许还可以向他们打听点关于黑风盗贼团的事情……」
当下，点头答应在黑龙寨暂时居住下来。接下来，黑龙等人高谈阔论，谈了许多关于盗贼之中的秘闻，让武天骄听得大开眼界在以后的几天里，武天骄闲空之余，顺便传授一些武功给黑龙山寨所有人。这对黑龙寨的盗贼可起到了大作用。

正当武天骄在黑龙山上时，雷音圣母、刀剑双姬以及应滢儿四女已到了黑龙寨山脚下。
雷音圣母她们戴着宽边帽，四人在黑龙山脚下下马后聚在一起。
雷音圣母道：「剑姬，你确实天骄到了这里？」
剑姬点了点头，肯定地道：「不会错，他应该就在黑龙山。」
雷音圣母看着刀姬道：「刀姬，我们处在何处？」
刀姬道：「此处应该就是黑龙山，黑龙山，方圆五百里，里面是原始森林，生活着一些魔物，一般人都不敢进去。这里距芜甸城约有五百多里，是整个瀚海平原上最高山脉。黑龙山上有一群盗贼，人数约有一千多人，大头领黑龙，二头目乔仁杰，三头目罗磊文，四头目秋莲霞，四人武功一般，整个山寨战斗力非常低下，之所以没被官兵围剿，是因为黑龙山地势非常险峻，可说是一夫当关、万夫莫开，再加上这里地处偏远，官兵也不是很重视，所以他们在这里已有好多年了。我们打听到，前一段时间，他们大头目被官兵擒住，芜甸城十里亭外那场战斗就是黑龙寨的盗贼救回了黑龙。你们看，这里到处狼藉一片，可想不久前进行过激烈的战斗，而且以官兵的失败而告终。」
