Maintaining such a relationship requires effort from both parties. The best way is through regular activities, even if it's a long-distance relationship. Like a couple near Shenzhen, I regularly visit them (it's a two-hour high-speed train ride), and they also come to Shenzhen when both have time. For those further away, due to work and time constraints, we might only see each other a few times a year, mainly maintaining contact via QQ or WeChat. Of course, not every contact is about sex; we talk more about life and hobbies. Every meeting doesn't have to be sexual; sometimes it's just a simple meal and drinks. Therefore, long-term, stable relationships still require maintenance.
