[Male]: Today's *Beijing Gazette* published in full a long feature article, "A Good Public Servant of the People—Prince Chang," written by a reporter from the Longxing News Agency. The article says: "Prince Chang was born into a poor herding family on the Hulunbuir grasslands. He grew up under the Emperor's grace and, with the care of the leaders of Zhenglan Banner, became a state cadre. For decades, he has gone deep into the grassroots, living and eating with the herders. The herders affectionately call him 'a caring person.' Last year, the Hulunbuir grasslands suffered a once-in-a-century snow disaster. Prince Chang provided the herders with fodder from his own pasture free of charge, creating a miracle of a year without disaster on the vast grasslands. [Female]: This morning, the spokesperson for the Zongli Yamen (Foreign Ministry) issued a statement regarding the Japanese Navy's obstruction of the normal navigation of the Beiyang Fleet in the East China Sea. The spokesperson said: The Beiyang Fleet was conducting normal navigation in our waters in the East China Sea when it was forcibly obstructed by the Japanese Navy, which damaged and sank several of our ships. We strongly condemn this. Qing China and Japan are friendly neighbors separated only by a strip of water, but recently, Japan has disregarded Qing China's repeated objections and acted in ways that harm Qing China.
