"It's six o'clock and you're still not leaving?" My colleague yawned, packed his bag, and prepared to go.
Most of the office seats were empty, and the steam and aroma of coffee wafted into Tan Hui's nose—a coffee with a unique urban white-collar flavor.
Tan Hui didn't even look up to wave goodbye to her colleagues; her hands were still typing away on the keyboard.
"I can't leave, there's too much to do today."

"Okay, you can go now."
Fewer and fewer people were left. Tan Hui was one of the few who persevered to the end of the long-distance run. It was just that she had too much work to do and didn't like to procrastinate. She felt it was fine to finish her work before going home.

Tan Hui was too lazy to waste words with him and simply shoved him into the passenger seat.
He sat in the driver's seat, let down his hair which he had tied up all day, closed his eyes, took out a pack of cigarettes from his pocket, and started smoking.
"I don't care about the cause and effect, I'm just asking you, did you win?" She exhaled a puff of smoke, filling the car with the smell of tobacco.
Tao Yang thought he had misheard, and after a moment he answered, "We won."
"That's fine then."
Tan Hui could tell he wanted to say something, but his mouth was glued shut, and he was holding it in no time. However, the expression on his face was impossible to hide, and she saw right through him.
There was a slight bruise on the corner of his mouth; only a fool wouldn't be able to tell what this kid had done.
"There's some ointment up there, rub it on the wound on your face."
The boy didn't speak, but was surprisingly obedient.
Tan Hui thought that this kid didn't have any bad intentions, he was just a bit stubborn, but he was easy to get along with, even if it took a little effort.
They wear their hearts on their sleeves, sulk when they encounter something they don't like, and get into fights if someone provokes them.

Tan Hui glanced at Tao Yang and couldn't help but smile.
