Chapter 001: Run Run Shaw's Grandson in a Car Accident

. March 1, 1982.

Hong Kong.

Today is April Fool's Day, a famous Western holiday. Although most of Hong Kong's population is Chinese, due to its long history of British rule, Hong Kong is quite Westernized. On the streets, friends often suddenly joke about April Fool's Day, saying things like your house is on fire or your wife has been cheated on, giving you a fright and becoming the subject of jokes.

Meanwhile, in the corridor outside the emergency room of Queen Mary Hospital in Hong Kong...

An elderly man in a purple overcoat and glasses was pacing back and forth in the corridor, leaning on a cane. A large group of people, men and women, stood beside him, none daring to utter a word, their faces filled with worry and anxiety.

At this moment, a middle-aged woman in her forties, wearing a black fleece coat, noticed the old man trembling as he walked and couldn't help but step forward, saying, "Uncle Six, you...you should sit down! Ah Yang is a lucky man; Heaven will protect him. He'll be alright!" The old man's face

twitched, turning bright red, and he cried out to the heavens, "Heavens! Are you trying to kill me, Run Run Shaw?! I was finally about to enjoy my retirement, to spend a few days with my grandson, and why are you being so cruel?!"

Indeed, this man was none other than Run Run Shaw, the famous Hong Kong television and film tycoon, known as Uncle Six, a super-rich man. The reason this legendary film mogul was so anxious today was because his twenty-two-year-old grandson, Shaw Huayang, had been in a car accident!

Shao Huayang is the only child of Run Run Shaw's eldest son, Shao Weiming, and just returned from Singapore today.

As for why Shao Huayang was in Singapore instead of Hong Kong, that's a long story.

It turns out that Run Run Shaw had a strained relationship with his four children, and the reason was the appearance of Mona Fong—the beautiful woman mentioned earlier.

In 1952, that night, Run Run Shaw, as usual, went to the nightclub in the Shaw Brothers theater building to listen to music. Just as he was about to leave, the host said, "Next, please welcome the famous Southeast Asian singer, Ms. Mona Fong, to sing 'A Perfect Match'."

Hearing the name "Mona Fong," Run Run Shaw felt it sounded very familiar. He waved to a waiter and asked, "Where have I heard of this Ms. Fong?"

The waiter said, "Ms. Fong is a singer who has recently become very popular in Southeast Asia. Her mother is Fang Wenxia, the 'Dancing Star' of the Sea 20 years ago."

Run Run Shaw suddenly realized who she was and immediately asked the waiter to bring a large bouquet of flowers.

A moment later, Mona Fong approached Run Run Shaw with a smile and politely said, "Hello, Mr. Shaw. I watched your movies when I was at sea, and I've heard many stories about you from my elders."

After the performance, at Run Run Shaw's invitation, Mona Fong changed into an elegant cheongsam, and the two went to a quiet restaurant for a late-night snack and conversation. During that long talk, Run Run Shaw was pleasantly surprised to discover that Mona Fong was not only beautiful and a good singer, but also knowledgeable in business management. He then strongly invited her to join Shaw Brothers.

At the time, Mona Fong's singing career was at its peak, but she still retired from the music scene regardless. Sure enough, Mona Fong did not disappoint Run

Run Shaw. After joining Shaw Brothers, she diligently studied management and devoted herself to her work, quickly becoming Run Run Shaw's strategist and most capable assistant. Although Run Run Shaw's empire was filled with outstanding beauties, only Mona Fong was someone he could truly entrust with both public and private matters. Under Mona Fong's meticulous management, Shaw Brothers repeatedly emerged from its lows. Many of Run Run Shaw's decisions were made entirely by Mona Fong, leading people to view her as the "boss's wife."

On one occasion, Mona Fong represented Run Run Shaw at a famous art auction. During the auction, a painting titled "The Banquet" by the American-based artist Chen Yifei was a hot item. Bidding started at HK$4 million, with six people vying for the contract, including Mona Fong. Finally, only Mona Fong and a Taiwanese businessman remained to bid. The businessman bid HK$1.6 million. Just as Mona Fong was about to continue bidding, her companions advised her to give up, believing that Run Run Shaw might be displeased with spending such a large sum on a painting. However, Mona Fong decisively bid HK$1.8 million and won the bid.

Sure enough, when Run Run Shaw held "The Banquet" in his hands, he was very pleased, praising Mona Fong's discerning eye and strong work ethic. He then hung the painting in the most prominent place in his office.

At the height of Shaw Brothers' success, films faced challenges and threats from television. At this critical juncture, Mona Fong, with her keen insight, advised Run Run Shaw to invest heavily in bidding for the operating rights of TVB, a move that resulted in tremendous success.

However, Run Run Shaw's "high regard" and "trust" for Mona Fong led to a situation in 1981 where his eldest son, Shaw Wai-ming, who had been helping his father manage the business, gradually replaced the Shaw family members after Mona Fong took control of Shaw Brothers. This resulted in Shaw Wai-ming and his brother, Shaw Wai-chung, resigning from the board of directors. After the two sons moved to Singapore, father and sons ceased all contact.

Shaw Wai-yang was Shaw Wai-ming's only son. Although Shaw Wai-ming and Run Run Shaw had fallen out, Run Run Shaw never forgot his handsome and intelligent grandson. He repeatedly hoped that Shaw Wai-yang would return to his side and take over his film empire.

This wish was fulfilled in less than a year. Just a month ago, on Shao Huayang's twenty-second birthday, he resolutely told Shao Weiming that he wanted to return to Hong Kong to live with his grandfather.

Shao Weiming initially strongly disagreed, but Shao Huayang had his own plan. He called his grandfather, Run Run Shaw, tearfully explaining that his father didn't want him to be with his grandfather and enjoy family life, but his father wouldn't agree, demanding that his grandfather make the decision!

Run Run Shaw had long hoped his grandson would return, and upon hearing that Shao Weiming was preventing his grandson from coming, he was furious. He thought, "This is outrageous! I'm already being lenient with their filial impiety, and they dare to stop me from being with my grandson?" He immediately made another call and negotiated with Shao Weiming for an entire afternoon. Finally, Shao Weiming couldn't withstand Run Run Shaw's harsh words and agreed to let Shao Huayang return to Hong Kong.

Shao Huayang was overjoyed. He couldn't stand staying in Singapore for even a year; he couldn't get used to the food, and the women weren't as attractive as those in Hong Kong. It was incredibly uncomfortable. If he returned to Hong Kong, with TVB as his powerful backer, he could wield power and enjoy the company of beautiful women—how wonderful that would be!

Today, Shao Huayang finally flew back to Hong Kong. Unfortunately, whether it was bad luck or something else, he got into a car accident on his way back to the Shao family home. The driver died instantly, and Shao Huayang was lucky enough to be in the back seat and survived, but he was seriously injured and is currently in the emergency room at the hospital.

Upon hearing the news, the entire Shao family was shocked. His wife, Huang Meizhen, fainted on the spot and was also rushed to the hospital. Run Run Shaw rushed to the hospital as well. At the same time, the entire TVB was in an uproar. TVB executives such as Mona Fong, Wong Tin-lam, and Siu Sang also rushed to the hospital. In an instant, the hospital was filled with celebrities and bustling with activity.

Chapter 002, The surgery failed, but the person was alright.

Time passed by, and the operating room light remained off. Sir Run Run Shaw's lips were pale, and his body was trembling. He paced back and forth incessantly. Fang Yihua tried to persuade him several times, but seeing that it was ineffective, she had no choice but to give up.

In truth, Mona Fong harbored a different agenda. It must be said that although Mona Fong was a woman, her ambition was no less than that of a man. She followed Run Run Shaw partly because he had been kind to her and she wanted to repay him, and the other part was because she hoped to gain his trust by taking care of him, so that one day she could take charge of TVB and become a world-renowned female tycoon.

“If Ah Yang really can’t be saved, Shao Weiming and the others won’t inherit TVB. TVB will be without an heir. Uncle Liu is getting old, so the only person who can manage TVB is…”

At this moment, this thought flashed through Fang Yihua’s mind, but she immediately suppressed it. “How could I think like that? Ah Yang is Uncle Liu’s dearest grandson!”

Fang Yihua secretly scolded herself, but immediately changed her mind. “I’ve followed Uncle Liu for so many years, never seeking any title. To outsiders, I’m so young yet I’m so aggrieved, all for the sake of getting Uncle Liu’s fortune. If that’s the case, why should I pretend to be noble? Even in ancient times, there was an Empress Wu Zetian. I, Fang Yihua, just want to replace Uncle Liu in managing TVB. Is that too much to ask?”

As she convinced herself, a flame blazed in Fang Yihua’s eyes—a flame that had found a goal, a flame to fight for, a flame to strive for.

Who says women are inferior to men? I, Fang Yihua, will see if I can change the world! Now let fate decide who should control this wireless network!

"My Ah Yang... my Ah Yang..."

Just then, a heart-wrenching cry rang out, followed by an elderly woman of about seventy years old who staggered over, with two nurses anxiously following behind her, repeatedly saying, "Mrs. Shao, you can't do this..."

"Mrs. Shao, your health is not good!"

It turned out that this elderly woman was none other than Run Run Shaw's wife—Huang Meizhen.

"Ah Zhen!"

Run Run Shaw and the others were taken aback to see Huang Meizhen run over like this. Run Run Shaw quickly stepped forward to support her, saying, "Ah Zhen, why aren't you resting in bed? Why did you get up? Go back to bed, I'm here!"

"No... I want to see my grandson! I want to see my grandson..."

Huang Meizhen cried bitterly and tried to rush into the operating room.

Shaw and the others quickly stopped Huang Meizhen. Wang Tianlin advised, "Sixth Aunt, calm down. The doctors are trying to save him. Going in won't help. Just wait patiently. A-Yang will be alright..."

Fang Yihua also said, "Yes! Sister, A-Yang is a lucky person. He'll definitely turn misfortune into good fortune..."

Fang Yihua's words only fueled Huang Meizhen's anger.

"You vixen! You slut!"

Huang Meizhen angrily pointed at Fang Yihua and cursed, "If it weren't for you seducing Shaw, how could Weiming and the others have separated from us? How could A-Yang have been in a car accident today? You... you ruined my grandson! I'll risk my life for you today!"

With that, Huang Meizhen reached out and struck Fang Yihua.

Chaos erupted in the corridor. Everyone tried to stop Huang Meizhen, but no one dared to forcibly pull her away. After all, it wouldn't be good to accidentally hurt this esteemed Sixth Aunt. Fang Yihua quickly hid behind Run Run Shaw, her face deathly pale, looking at him, hoping he would say something.

Sure enough, Run Run Shaw wouldn't let Fang Yihua be beaten so easily.

"Stop!"

Run Run Shaw shouted. Huang Meizhen hesitated, then stopped her attack on Fang Yihua.

"Ah Zhen, calm down!"

Run Run Shaw grasped Huang Meizhen's hand and advised, "Ah Yang's incident was an accident, it has nothing to do with Yi Hua. You can't be like Huang Yaoshi, taking your anger out on others. What we need to do now is calm down, calm down. I believe that I, Run Run Shaw, am protected by the gods, and my grandson will definitely be able to turn misfortune into good fortune!"

Seeing Run Run Shaw speak like this, Huang Meizhen finally calmed down slowly, choking back tears, "Okay! Run Run, I'll listen to you... I'll listen to you... But, if anything happens to my grandson, I will fight with my old life, I will fight Fang Yi Hua! I will fight her..."

After hearing this, Run Run Shaw sighed and remained silent. Hua trembled. She never expected Huang Meizhen to say such a thing. Although Huang Meizhen didn't have a good impression of her before, she had accepted her on the surface. But now she was saying she would fight her to the death. Fang Yihua had no doubt that Huang Meizhen was lying. Although this woman looked weak, she was very strong inside. Once her beloved grandson died, she would probably take desperate measures against her, the woman who had stolen her husband and indirectly harmed Shao Huayang. Thinking of this, Fang Yihua couldn't help but shudder and began to pray that Shao Huayang would be alright.

Meanwhile, TVB producers like Siu Sang, Wong Tin-lam, and Chiu Chun-keung desperately hoped that Shao Huayang wouldn't die. After all, Shao Huayang was TVB's rightful heir, and he had returned intending to inherit the position. If something happened to him, Uncle Six (Sixth Uncle) might find it difficult to accept reality and might even pass away immediately. TVB would then be leaderless, likely descending into a power struggle, especially with Fong Yi-wah potentially seizing power. This could plunge TVB into a crisis, something Wong Tin-lam and other TVB veterans absolutely did not want to see.

Even if Uncle Six could manage to survive if Shao Huayang died, he was already over seventy; how many more years did he have left? After Uncle Six's passing, power would most likely fall into Fong Yi-wah's hands, and Wong Tin-lam and the others were unwilling to let a woman lead, even if she was Uncle Six's woman.

Therefore, considering all these factors, it was best if Shao Huayang didn't die.

Unfortunately, the fate of Shao Huayang was no longer in the hands of these television moguls and tycoons, but rather in the hands of God. Everyone was waiting anxiously.

Of course, Hong Kong media reporters were shrewd; they quickly learned that these television giants were gathered at the hospital, and paparazzi sprang into action, attempting to interview them. However, without exception, they were all driven away by Run Run Shaw's bodyguards.

What a joke! Uncle Six was still worried and furious; wouldn't interviewing him be just asking for trouble?

While everyone was praying to each other, and Run Run Shaw was comforting his wife, the operating room light finally came on.

Everyone stood up instantly, as if at a large meeting, and those who were standing rushed to the operating room door.

The door opened, and the doctor came out. He removed his mask and let out a long sigh of relief.

"Doctor, how is he? How is my grandson?"

Huang Meizhen asked anxiously.

"I'm sorry, madam, your grandson's surgery failed!"

the doctor said.

"Ah?"

Everyone was shocked. Run Run Shaw felt a rush of energy to his head and almost fainted. The two people beside him quickly supported him.

Huang Meizhen was stunned, completely stunned, and then cried out in heart-wrenching sobs, "My grandson... how could you leave like this... how can your grandmother live..."

Everyone felt a pang of sadness. Fang Yihua looked at Huang Meizhen with great concern. "Grandma, don't panic! Don't panic!"

Seeing the situation, the doctor quickly said, "Your grandson is alright!"

"Ah?"

This sentence was even more shocking than the previous one.

Xiao Sheng grabbed the doctor and asked, "Didn't you say the surgery failed? How can he be alright?"

The doctor, also looking puzzled, said, "I don't know either, I've never encountered this situation before! He... he suddenly recovered completely! He's fine! I think he can be discharged after two days of observation!"

"Really? Really?"

Run Run Shaw and Huang Meizhen felt as if they had fallen from heaven to hell and then ascended to heaven. The speed was so fast that they were almost dizzy. Run Run Shaw and Huang Meizhen grabbed the doctor's collar at the same time and questioned him sharply. At this moment, Run Run Shaw didn't care about his tycoon demeanor at all and grabbed the doctor, asking him sternly.

"Of course! Of course! Gentlemen, the patient is fine now! The anesthesia will wear off in half an hour, and he will be awake!"

The doctor hurriedly waved his hand and said.

Chapter 003, Awakening from Transmigration

Shao Aiwen slowly opened his eyes. He felt a strong light piercing him, and even opening his eyes seemed very difficult. He couldn't help but wonder, could it be that he was still alive?

Let me introduce him first. Shao Aiwen is an ordinary otaku in the 21st century. Every day, besides playing games, reading novels and watching TV series and movies online, he does nothing else.

Today, bad luck struck. He went to buy a new game disc and happened to witness a group of angry young men smashing an old Japanese car. The car owner and the group got into a fight, and he was watching when someone threw a rock at the owner. The rock missed, but he was hit instead.

It was a large rock, and before he lost consciousness, he thought he saw his own brain matter…

At that moment, Shao Aiwen groggily opened his eyes, feeling as if he were lying in a hospital bed. There seemed to be many people watching him. He wondered if they had come to comfort him after he was hit by the rock.

Thinking this, Shao Aiwen forced his eyes open.

“Ah Yang is awake! Ah Yang is awake!”

“Yangzi is awake! Yangzi is awake!”

“Uncle Six! Aunt Six! Director Fang, come quickly!”…

Shao Aiwen opened his eyes and realized he was indeed in a hospital, but he saw several people standing around him—men and women, fat and thin—but he didn't recognize any of them.

Shao Aiwen tried to sit up, but a chubby old man immediately helped him up, saying, "Ayang, don't get up. Just lie there, you need to rest!"

Shao Aiwen checked his body and found nothing wrong; he was just a little tired. However, he didn't seem to recognize the kind-looking chubby old man in front of him. Could he be a leader from the government?

At that moment, Shao Aiwen respectfully asked, "This... this leader, may I ask who you are?"

"Huh?"

Everyone was stunned. The fat man, who was actually Wang Tianlin, a veteran producer at TVB, said in surprise, "I say, Yangzi, are you stupid? I'm your Uncle Wang. I've watched you grow up since you were a child. How come you don't recognize me?"

Another middle-aged man, Xiao Sheng, also said, "Yes! Ah Yang, I'm your Uncle Xiao, your grandfather's capable assistant. I even took you to the amusement park when you were a child. Do you still recognize me?"

"Huh? My grandfather's... capable assistant?"

Shao Aiwen was stunned. It seemed that the fat man was speaking Cantonese, but fortunately, he often watched Hong Kong movies and could understand Cantonese. He thought to himself, "My grandfather used to carry manure. He had a capable assistant?" He then said in Cantonese, "Um... Uncle Xiao, you... you used to help my grandfather carry manure?"

"Huh?"

Everyone looked at each other.

Just then, Uncle Run Run Shaw, Aunt Huang Meizhen, "mistress" Fang Yihua, and the doctor strode in.

"My good grandson!"

Huang Meizhen couldn't hold back any longer and rushed over, hugging "Shao Huayang" on the bed and bursting into tears.

Shao Aiwen saw an old lady he had never seen before rush over to hug him and cry, calling him grandson. What was going on?

Suddenly, Shao Aiwen thought of something legendary and ethereal—time travel!

Holy crap! Could he have time traveled?

Never mind, he had to find out first!

Immediately, Shao Aiwen pushed Huang Meizhen away and said, "Um, grandma, could you... could you tell me who I am? And where is this place?"

"What? Ayang, you don't recognize... you recognize your grandma?"

Huang Meizhen was dumbfounded and speechless for a moment.

At this moment, Run Run Shaw and the doctor approached. Run Run Shaw sighed and said, "Meizhen, the doctor just spoke with me. Although Ayang has miraculously recovered, his brain seems to have suffered severe damage, resulting in amnesia!"

"What? Amnesia?"

Huang Meizhen was stunned, then said, "Will that affect his future life?"

"Mrs. Shaw, it would be best if we could test him!"

the doctor said, stepping forward.

The doctor then began examining Shao Aiwen. Although Shao Aiwen didn't know what was wrong, he suspected he might have time-traveled, so he cooperated with the treatment.

After the examination, the doctor began asking questions.

"What is 15 plus 32?"

"47." "

Where is the capital of the United States?"

"Washington, D.C."

"How many years did World War II last?"

"1939 to 1945." "

Who was the leader of Nazi Germany?"

"Hitler!"

"Please remove the refill of this ballpoint pen!"

the doctor said, handing over a pen. Shao Aiwen successfully removed it.

The doctor nodded, stood up, and gestured for Run Run Shaw and Huang Meizhen to follow him out.

"Reverse amnesia?"

Run Run Shaw and Huang Meizhen were surprised.

"Yes!"

the doctor nodded, saying, "This is a memory disorder caused by a sudden illness or injury, resulting in the loss of all memories prior to the incident."

"Can A-Yang recover his memory? What kind of treatment is needed? Money is not a problem!"

Run Run Shaw asked.

"Mr. Shaw, you must understand, this isn't about money! There's currently no definitive treatment for this type of memory disorder. He might recover tomorrow, or he might remain like this for life! But the most fortunate thing is that this memory disorder doesn't significantly impair his daily life; he's only forgotten his past memories, but his knowledge remains!"

"So, A-Yang can still live a normal life?"

Huang Meizhen said with delight.

"That's right!"

the doctor nodded, "I think he can be discharged after two days in the hospital. Whether he recovers his memory depends on his own fate!"

"What? I…I…"

Inside the ward, Shao Aiwen, upon learning his current identity and the identities of the men and women before him, widened his eyes in disbelief.

Shao Huayang, the grandson of Run Run Shaw, the Hong Kong film tycoon? Oh my god, you're so kind to me! You actually made me the grandson of this amazing person!

In his previous life, Run Run Shaw was a legend in the entertainment industry, an everlasting icon. In Hong Kong's entertainment circle, whether you were Jackie Chan, Sammo Hung, or the Xiang brothers of Win's Entertainment with their triad background, everyone respected Run Run Shaw and addressed him respectfully as "Uncle Six." His TVB influenced generations; he was a legend in television and film, a giant unmatched in the entertainment industry. And now, he had become his grandson—his future was bright!

The look of surprise on Shao Aiwen's face naturally didn't escape the notice of Wang Tianlin, Fang Yihua, and the others. Seeing this expression, they all had the same thought: This expression looks like a penniless man who has suddenly won the lottery!

At this moment, Shao Aiwen was completely oblivious to the doubts in their eyes. He thought to himself: Now that I've become Run Run Shaw's grandson, I must do this role well! From now on, I'll be called Shao Huayang! I will make Hong Kong cinema flourish! I will become a tycoon, wielding power over the world, and enjoying the company of beautiful women! Hahaha...

Chapter 004, The Super Brain Lolita.

At this moment, Run Run Shaw and Huang Meizhen walked in. Huang Meizhen sat down on the edge of the bed, touched Shao Huayang's (hereafter referred to as the protagonist) forehead, and said softly, "Ah Yang, it's good that you...you're alright! No matter if you've lost your memory or not, you will always be the only legal heir of our Shaw family, our treasure, and that will never change!"

Looking at the woman in front of him, Shao Huayang naturally guessed that she was Run Run Shaw's first wife—Huang Meizhen.

In his previous life, many people knew that Fang Yihua was Run Run Shaw's woman and called Fang Yihua Sixth Sister-in-law, but very few people knew that Huang Meizhen was actually the real Sixth Sister-in-law. When Huang Meizhen was alive, no one at TVB dared to call Fang Yihua Sixth Sister-in-law.

It is said that Run Run Shaw was exceptionally intelligent from a young age. After graduating from secondary school, he went to Singapore at the invitation of his third brother, Shao Shanke, and began to get involved in the film industry. Yu Dongxuan, the most famous tycoon in Singapore, greatly appreciated the Shaw brothers and invited them to his home. That day, they arrived at the Yu residence at the invitation of the authorities. Yu Dongxuan personally greeted them, accompanied by a beautiful woman in a white dress, exuding a refined and elegant air. Yu Dongxuan introduced her as Miss Huang Meizhen. After the meal, Yu Dongxuan invited Shao Shanke to his study to discuss business cooperation, while Huang Meizhen accompanied Run Run Shaw to the garden. The two young people strolled through the garden, chatting about everything under the sun, mostly about movies. Their lively conversation led them to feel an instant connection. After leaving the Yu residence, Run Run Shaw experienced the pangs of unrequited love, tasting the sweetness of romance for the first time. In fact, Huang Meizhen was also deeply attracted to the talented Run Run Shaw. She frequently visited him at the Shaw Brothers headquarters under various pretexts, and if time allowed, the two would go to see a movie at one of the company's theaters. However, what made Run Run Shaw uneasy was that Huang Meizhen was Yu Dongxuan's girlfriend, and Yu Dongxuan had been kind to him. His third brother, Shao Shanke, upon learning of this, advised him to give up the relationship. When rumors of his ambiguous relationship with Huang Meizhen reached Yu Dongxuan's ears, Yu Dongxuan simply laughed it off, saying, "Meizhen loves movies, and it's a good thing to have Yifu, a film expert, by her side."

As their feelings deepened, Huang Meizhen became more involved in the internal affairs of the Shaw Brothers, actively offering suggestions.

In 1929, Run Run Shaw decided to try making sound films, a bold idea that Huang Meizhen immediately approved of. Run Run Shaw decided to travel to the United States to investigate and purchase a batch of equipment for making sound films. Several months later, when Run Run Shaw returned to Singapore from the United States with a large amount of equipment, Huang Meizhen was already waiting at the pier. Seeing that Run Run Shaw had lost weight, she was heartbroken and speechless; the two lovers embraced tightly. In 1932, the Shaw Brothers finally completed the production of China's first sound film, *Bai Jinlong*, in Hong Kong, ushering in a new era for Chinese sound films. This film earned Run Run Shaw a fortune and made him famous. Finally, one day, Run Run Shaw mustered the courage to personally visit the Yu residence and frankly confessed his love for Huang Meizhen to Yu Dongxuan. After listening, Yu Dongxuan remained silent for a moment, then laughed heartily and said, "I've known about your affair for a long time. A gentleman helps others achieve their happiness. Since you and Meizhen truly love each other, there's no need to worry so much. Do you expect Meizhen to spend her whole life with this old man?" In 1937, Run Run Shaw and Huang Meizhen held a grand and enthusiastic wedding in Singapore. That day, Yu Dongxuan also sent a generous gift of 500,000 yuan as a congratulatory gift. Every time Run Run Shaw mentioned Yu Dongxuan, he would be moved to tears, deeply grateful to this kind and benevolent elder, and he also showed great affection for Huang Meizhen. It can be said that even if Mona Fong were ten times more beautiful and ten times more favored, as long as Huang Meizhen was still by Run Run Shaw's side, she would always be a concubine, an outright mistress. And indeed, this was the case; ten years after Huang Meizhen's death, Mona Fong finally became his wife.

At this moment, looking at the kind old lady with tears streaming down her face, Shao Huayang couldn't help but feel a surge of familial love and said, "You...you're my grandma?"

"Yes, yes! Ah Yang, I am your grandma!"

Huang Meizhen choked out.

"Ah Yang! Look at me! Look at me! I'm your grandpa!"

Shao Yifu stepped forward urgently and said.

Looking at the tall, thin, and somewhat balding old man in front of him, Shao Huayang thought to himself that this must be the TVB Emperor, Shao Yifu. Shao Huayang had immense respect for this tycoon and quickly said, "Grandpa, Grandma, although I don't remember anything from before, I...I feel that you are my grandpa and grandma! Grandpa, Grandma!"

Huang Meizhen's tears flowed even more profusely. Even Shao Yifu, a seasoned businessman who had seen countless storms, couldn't help but shed tears. He stepped forward, grasped Shao Huayang's hand, and choked out, "It's alright, it's alright now...it's alright now..."

As he spoke, tears streamed down Shao Yifu's old eyes.

Everyone present was both surprised and moved to see Run Run Shaw cry. The usually powerful tycoon was actually crying. Fang Yihua felt even worse. Seeing the three of them gathered together, as if a large net had been woven around them, there was no way for someone like her to get in.

Seeing this, Fang Yihua couldn't help but sigh, knowing that she was probably destined to be a mistress.

Shao Huayang chatted with Run Run Shaw and Huang Meizhen for a while. Then the doctor came over and said, "Alright, Mr. and Mrs. Shaw, your son has only just recovered. I don't think it's appropriate for him to talk too much. He should rest more!"

"Yes! That's right!"

Run Run Shaw nodded, wiped away his tears, and said, "Ayang, you must rest well and try to recover quickly. Your grandfather is already so old, I probably don't have many days left, and I'm still waiting for you to take care of me!"

"Grandpa, don't say that. You will definitely live to be a hundred!"

Shao Huayang said. This was truly his heartfelt words. Even when Shao Huayang transmigrated in his previous life, Run Run Shaw was still alive and well, over 100 years old—a blessing indeed.

"Hehe, you're such a sweet talker!"

Run Run Shaw laughed.

Huang Meizhen wiped away her tears, stood up, and said, "Everyone, please stay here with us! Ah Yang is alright now! You can all go back and rest! Yifu, you should go back and rest too!"

Shaw was taken aback and asked, "Meizhen, what about you?"

"Me? I'll stay here and watch over Ah Yang. I don't want to leave my grandson for even a moment!"

Huang Meizhen said firmly.

"Sigh! Alright! But if you don't leave, I won't leave either. I'll stay here and watch over him!"

Shaw said, then turned to a bodyguard beside him and said, "Go and buy some food. Ah Yang and Meizhen haven't eaten anything yet!"

"Understood! Sixth Uncle!"

The man hurriedly went out.

The others took their leave. Fang Yihua hesitated for a moment, about to speak, when Run Run Shaw said, "Yihua, you've been in the hospital for so long, you must be tired. Go back and rest! Meizhen and I are here!"

"Oh, okay, Uncle Six!"

Fang Yihua said helplessly, a pang of sadness in her heart. Uncle Six, in the end, still loved his family more!

That night, Shao Huayang slept in a hospital bed. Since it was a single room, Run Run Shaw and his wife didn't stay there but went home. Huang Meizhen originally didn't want to go back, but she was old, and the hospital accommodations weren't very good. At Shao Huayang's insistence, Run Run Shaw took Huang Meizhen home.

In the ward, Shao Huayang woke up in the middle of the night. Suddenly, he felt a sharp pain in his head, and was startled. Just as he was about to shout, his heart churned, and he vomited something out of his mouth.

Shao Huayang was stunned. Looking closely, he saw that the object was circular, like a ring, shimmering with platinum. It was quite heavy; if it were made of platinum, it certainly would be.

What was this? Shao Huayang picked up the ring to examine it.

"Hello?"

Suddenly, a little girl's innocent voice rang in Shao Huayang's ears.

"A ghost!"

Reflexively, Shao Huayang sprang up from the bed, jumped off, and turned to lean against the door of the ward, looking at the bed.

"Nothing there!"

A chill ran down Shao Huayang's spine to the back of his head; the hairs on his body stood on end as he cautiously looked at the bed.

"Who's there!"

After a long pause, Shao Huayang asked.

"The ring!"

the voice complained, "Charge me first!"

"Are you the ring?"

Shao Huayang asked hesitantly.

After another long while, the ring said, "What? I'm a superbrain. Charge me first, and I'll explain everything to you slowly."

At the end, the voice trailed off, as if it had run out of power.

In his past life, Shao Huayang was a homebody, but he still understood terms like "superbrain" and "charging." So…

"How do I charge it?"

Shao Huayang asked. The ring was round and bulging; what to insert it into, and where to insert it, were all questions.

With a "hum," Shao Huayang clearly saw countless parts floating on it. Then, two long metal heads appeared on the ring, like pins.

Shao Huayang mustered his courage, slowly walked forward, carefully picked it up, and quickly plugged it into the nearby socket.

"Hmm,"

the ring cheerfully said, "It feels good to have energy!"

After a while, Shao Huayang gradually recovered and was no longer so afraid of the ring. After all, only the unknown is frightening, and this ring hadn't tried to harm him during their time together. Moreover, young people are very quick to accept the unknown, and in a short while, Shao Huayang's curiosity about it far outweighed his fear.

"What exactly are you?"

Shao Huayang asked, looking at the "thing."

What could no longer be called a ring was now a square lump, along with two metal probes inserted into the pins. Shao Huayang couldn't find the right words to describe or name that "thing."

"You can call me 'Loli,' that's what many people call me there,"

the girl's childlike voice said.

"Where...where is that?"

Shao Huayang asked immediately.

"Earth in 3005! But I can't go back."

At first, the Loli replied with great enthusiasm, but towards the end, her voice became dejected.

"3005! Earth! You come from the future!"

Shao Huayang said incredulously.

"Of course!"

After saying this, the Loli flew off the pins, buzzing and transforming in the air until she appeared as a palm-sized little girl holding a small book, with a pair of light, gauze-like wings on her back. Her features were clearly visible, and she proudly flew to Shao Huayang. Shao Huayang opened his hand, and the little Loli gently landed in his palm, feeling no weight at all!

"That's amazing!"

Shao Huayang exclaimed, staring blankly at the little girl.

"Of course!" the little girl proudly raised her head and said, "Otherwise, why would so many people chase after me, wanting to have me!"

"Ahem!" The little girl's words were somewhat ambiguous, causing Shao Huayang to cough awkwardly twice before blushing and saying, "What can you do?"

Hearing Shao Huayang ask her this, the little girl was a bit dissatisfied. She proudly raised her head, looking at Shao Huayang with disdain, and said dismissively, "What can I do? Hmph. You should ask me what I can't do!"

Seeing the little girl's expression, Shao Huayang tentatively asked, "Singing?"

"Hmph."

The little girl raised her head, puffed out her chest, and snorted disdainfully.

"Making movies?"

Shao Huayang's face turned a little red, but he still asked, thinking to himself, "That must be difficult!"

To his surprise, the little girl scoffed and turned her head away.

"Alright!"

Shao Huayang lowered his head and asked dejectedly, "What can't you do?"

"Hmph," the little girl was finally satisfied, proudly saying, "There's nothing I can't do!"

"Hmm?"

Shao Huayang raised his head, his eyes full of questions, his skepticism evident.

"You dare doubt me!"

The little girl jumped up as if she'd been stepped on, angrily saying, "In 3005, no one dared to doubt anything I said!"

"Tch!"

This time it was Shao Huayang's turn to speak disdainfully. He lay down on the bed, put the little girl aside, and said, "Liar! I've never believed anything you said except that you can transform!"

"What did you say!"

The little girl jumped onto Shao Huayang's chest, tugging at his collar, and exclaimed, "You dare doubt me? You dare call me a liar? You

bastard, get up, let's duel!" "Stop fooling around!"

Shao Huayang grabbed the little girl aside with one hand, teasingly saying, "Which scientist invented you? Did they patent you? If not, I'll steal it!"

"In 3005, various high-end technical talents worked together to create me. They inputted all sorts of data and technology into me, and finally, we succeeded. Then they wanted to take me, so they fought, and the base exploded. I inexplicably ended up inside a rock, and that rock hit your head. I entered your body, merged with your soul, and followed you here. I only just managed to get out with great difficulty,"

the little girl said innocently.

"Ah? So you were that rock?..."

Shao Huayang suddenly realized. "Why did they want to take you?"

Shao Huayang asked, amused. He didn't believe what the little girl said, but it was still quite interesting to listen to as a story.

"Because I became their master!"

"What's 'recognizing a master'?" Shao

Huayang's curiosity was piqued by this new term.

"I don't know. The corresponding procedure will only be unlocked after I recognize a master, and then everything after that will be displayed in the program,"

the loli said.

"How do I recognize a master?"

Shao Huayang asked curiously.

"The first person to press their fingerprint on this spot on my stomach will be my master."

As she spoke, the loli lifted her clothes, revealing her stomach. In the middle of her stomach, there was a gray area, clearly different from the rest of her skin. Shao Huayang curiously pressed his thumb down. A

"beep"

sounded, "Recognition successful!"

The sound echoed in the room.

Then, the small notebook that the loli and Shao Huayang had been ignoring suddenly started to glow, projecting into the void before their eyes.

"After recognizing her master, the little girl must unconditionally obey all of her master's commands. She must steadfastly complete all of her master's instructions. The little girl must not do anything to harm her master, and should make pleasing her master her ultimate goal, completing various tasks for her master..."

Shao Huayang stared blankly at the more than one million densely packed small characters in front of him, unable to help but rub his eyes, and turned to look at the little girl.

The little girl, her eyes brimming with tears, stared at the millions of dollars in "unfair treaties" before her and suddenly burst into tears, sobbing and cursing, "That damn programmer's design! Isn't this blatant bullying of the program? Waaah, I don't want to live anymore!" Shao Huayang quickly patted the little girl's back to comfort her, "Don't cry, don't cry. It's nothing, maybe some programmer just wrote it for fun. Stop crying. Think about who they are, who their ancestors were, I'll avenge you!"

"It's Hebron, Victory. His family tree and everything is stored in my database. His living ancestors include Roddy, Jenna, Derek, Victory, and..."

and so on. The little girl rattled off more than a dozen names, spanning over 500 years and more than a dozen generations (the vitality of later generations is stronger, hence the number of generations). "Alright, alright,"

Shao Huayang interrupted her. "No need to say anything! I know..."

"Hmph!"

The little girl snorted, her eyes flashing with data. Suddenly, she cursed, "What kind of world is this? There's not even wireless internet."

"You know about wireless internet?"

Shao Huayang asked.

"Of course, I'm an invincible, omnipotent superbrain!"

the little girl said. "Then I'm your master now, right?"

Shao Huayang asked tentatively.

"Of course!"

the little girl said.

"Then I want to sleep now! Can you make me fall asleep quickly?"

Shao Huayang asked.

"Of course! Sleep device activated!"

the little girl said, a red light flashed before her eyes, and Shao Huayang fell into a deep sleep.

Chapter 005, Dual Cultivation Secret Manual

The next morning, Shao Huayang woke up from his sleep. Looking at the events on his hand, it was 6:30. The sky outside was still dark. Shao Huayang remembered that he had slept without any dreams last night. Feeling his body, he felt comfortable all over this morning, without any fatigue. He was very happy.

Looking to the side, the Super Brain Lolita Ring lay obediently on the table. Shao Huayang smiled slightly, picked up the ring, put it on his hand, and whispered, "Lolita, are you there?"

A lolita's voice came from the ring: "I'm still sleeping, don't disturb me!"

Shao Huayang chuckled, then suddenly remembered something and said, "I don't want to disturb you either, but I wanted to ask you, do you have any legendary martial arts manuals? Hong Kong isn't safe right now, the streets are full of gangsters and thugs. If we don't learn some kung fu to protect ourselves, we'll feel very unsafe!"

"Really?"

the lolita said, "You're practically a super rich second-generation now, why are you afraid of gangsters and thugs?"

"Oh, don't say that! Having more skills can help you protect yourself! Please help me, lolita?"

Shao Huayang said with a forced smile.

"Fine, seeing how sincere you are, and being her owner, I'll help you!"

Then, a golden light flashed on the ring, and a book flew out of thin air from the ring.

"Thank you!"

Shao Huayang said with a smile, picking up the book and glancing at it. The cover was unremarkable, and the book itself wasn't old, lacking any of the ancient feel of a martial arts manual.

On the cover were only four large characters—"Yin Yang Xuan Gong" (陰陽玄功). "What the hell is Yin Yang Xuan Gong?"

Shao Huayang wondered, opening the book. But what he

saw immediately made his face turn bright red. The book was filled with colorful illustrations of men and women engaging in sexual acts—all sorts of positions, from Guanyin sitting on a lotus to doggy style, 69, and so on—and all were real photos. The men were all Shao Huayang, and the women were various famous actresses, including Zhao Yazhi, Brigitte Lin, Cherie Chung, Vivian Chow, and many other Hong Kong stars. It was clearly an adult book that would make anyone's blood boil.

"Hey! You little brat, are you kidding me?"

Shao Huayang couldn't help but shout at the little girl, "Is this the martial arts manual you were talking about?"

"Don't get excited, don't get excited!"

the little girl's voice came out, "Don't be ignorant, look at those pictures, the red lines on the people's bodies!"

Hearing the little girl say this, Shao Huayang noticed that there were thin red lines on the people's bodies in the colored pages, which looked like blood vessels. He was shocked, thinking, could this be the legendary energy cultivation route map? Could this be the so-called dual cultivation manual?

"You should know by now, right?"

the loli said helplessly. "This book is the so-called Dual Cultivation Manual! The last two chapters are some external techniques, while the earlier chapters are for cultivating internal strength. It relies on what you humans call male-female intercourse to enhance internal power. I think it's very suitable for you! However, although this method is superior to the art of 'sexual intercourse,' if practiced improperly, it can easily degenerate into something vulgar. When having intercourse with a woman, remember to ensure yin and yang are in harmony, especially with virgins! Alright, I'm going to sleep now! We'll chat again when we have time! I'm logging off!"

With that, the loli's voice disappeared.

"Damn it!"

Shao Huayang said helplessly, "What do you mean 'very suitable for me'? I'm a gentleman, of course I won't... I won't refuse to learn such strange and lewd techniques..."

As he spoke, Shao Huayang opened the "adult magazine" and read it with great interest. Although he couldn't cultivate for the time being, looking at the nude images of celebrities was still good. After all, the pictures in this book were much more lifelike than the computer-generated ones in his previous life.

※※※ At seven o'clock in the morning, Mr. and Mrs. Shaw arrived at the hospital.

Although Mr. and Mrs. Shaw left the hospital last night, the hospital sent people to check on them to ensure there were no problems. However, Huang Meizhen was still very worried about Shao Huayang, so she came early this morning.

But when Mr. and Mrs. Shaw, along with his mistress Fang Yihua, entered the ward, they saw Shao Huayang with a lewd grin, holding a book and reading it with great interest, looking... like he was reading a pornographic novel!

"Ah Yang, what are you reading?"

Mr. Shaw frowned and asked as he stepped forward.

"Ah!" Shao Huayang was startled. He looked up and was stunned. He cursed himself for being so engrossed in his book that he hadn't even noticed his grandparents were here. Now he was in trouble. How was he going to explain this picture book filled with illustrations of current and future popular stars?

Shao Yifu didn't give Shao Huayang a chance to explain. He stepped forward, snatched the book, and opened it.

Shao Huayang's heart jumped into his throat. He looked at Shao Yifu timidly.

But to his surprise, after reading the book, Shao Yifu's expression changed slightly, but he didn't react. Instead, he looked at Shao Huayang strangely and said, "Ah Yang, you don't need to look like that while reading Romance of the Three Kingdoms, do you?"

"Huh? Romance of the Three Kingdoms? What Romance of the Three Kingdoms?"

Shao Huayang was confused. He was clearly reading a "celebrity sex picture book," how did it become Romance of the Three Kingdoms in his grandfather's hands?

Huang Meizhen and Fang Yihua walked over. Huang Meizhen took the book and looked at it, saying, "Yes! Ah Yang, why did you make that face while reading Romance of the Three Kingdoms?" "Grandma thought you were reading porn!"

Seeing that both Grandpa and Grandma said this, it seemed they weren't lying to him. Could it be... could it be that this book was only for adults when he was reading it, and for others it was just a proper novel? Yes, yes! That must be it! Overjoyed at this thought, Shao Huayang quickly said, "It's nothing, I was just... I got a little excited while reading it, a little excited!"

"Oh, where did you get this book?"

Shaw asked.

"I borrowed it from the hospital!"

Shao Huayang quickly replied, his voice timid, afraid that Shaw would see through his lie.

Fortunately, Shaw didn't press further. Huang Meizhen, holding a thermos, smiled and placed it on the table, saying, "Ayang, are you hungry? Grandma brought you breakfast! Eat it while it's hot!"

"Thank you, Grandma!" "

Shao Huayang said gratefully.

Breakfast was very plentiful, consisting of mung bean and lily porridge, meat buns, and eggs. Shao Huayang ate happily. Mr. and Mrs. Shaw watched Shao Huayang eat, both very happy, smiling as they watched him, thinking that it was good that he could eat.

After Shao Huayang finished eating, Mr. Shaw said kindly, "A-Yang, are you full?"

"Yes, Grandpa!"

Shao Huayang smiled.

"That's good! The doctor will come to check you in a little while! If everything is fine, you can be discharged today!"

Mr. Shaw smiled.

"Really? Grandpa, that's wonderful!"

Upon hearing this, Shao Huayang was overjoyed, thinking that being able to be discharged was great. Then he could laugh and dominate Hong Kong, wield power over the world, and rest his head on the lap of a beautiful woman, hahaha...

Just then, several people suddenly rushed in. The first one to enter was a middle-aged beautiful woman, who immediately called out, "A-Yang, how is A-Yang?" "

The four men, including Run Run Shaw, were taken aback. Then, Run Run Shaw looked at the group and couldn't help but snort. Huang Meizhen, on the other hand, looked at them and her eyes lit up with joy.

Chapter 006, Dong Mengyao and the three Shao siblings.

Shao Huayang looked at the four people who entered. There were four in total, but he didn't recognize any of them.

They were one man and three women. The man was a middle-aged man, in his fifties or sixties, with an elegant appearance and extraordinary demeanor. He seemed to have the air of an upper-class nobleman. What surprised Shao Huayang

even more was that the man in front of him looked somewhat similar to himself. Shao Huayang had looked at his face in the mirror yesterday and thought he was quite good-looking. He had delicate features, fair skin, and striking eyebrows. He was definitely star material. But this man in front of him clearly looked a lot like himself." However, none of them were as handsome as him.

The other three women were all middle-aged women in their forties, but each one was a beauty. The woman who had started the commotion was wearing a purple-red cheongsam. The tight cheongsam perfectly accentuated her sexy figure, highlighting her high breasts, the sexy stockings revealing her thighs at the slit of the cheongsam, her slender waist, and her high, round, beautiful buttocks, showcasing the style of a mature beauty.

Her face was indeed very beautiful, with her long, beautiful hair piled high, a stunningly beautiful oval face, and fair skin. Due to her excellent maintenance, there wasn't a single wrinkle on her face. Her beautiful eyes were glistening with tears, and combined with her stunning face and sexy figure, she was definitely a charming and mature beauty.

As for the other two women, one of them was... Zhang Ai's oval face was elegant and dignified, with phoenix eyes, a delicate nose, and cherry-like lips—a truly beautiful woman. She wore a sleeveless white dress, revealing her snow-white, jade-like arms. Her fair skin was far beyond what one would expect from a woman in her forties. The white dress cascaded down, exposing half of her sexy, jade-like legs, encased in alluring black stockings, making her beautiful legs even more tempting. Her breasts, though not particularly full, were perfectly shaped, making one want to touch them. Her full, round buttocks, concealed by the dress, were high and pert, their round shape dazzling. Her sexy waist, alluring neck, and exquisite face all contributed to her stunning beauty.

The last woman, with her beautiful oval face... The two women were remarkably similar, both incredibly beautiful, looking like sisters. She was about 1.7 meters tall, with a figure befitting a supermodel. However, her attire was rather conservative; a black leather jacket completely covered her perfect body, and white pants concealed her long, sexy legs. It wasn't hard to see that this beauty had a great figure; her sexy legs weren't hidden by the pants. Looking at those beautiful legs, Shao Huayang thought to himself that they were probably 42 inches, truly supermodel legs. And those alluring breasts hidden under her clothes were definitely not small. If this beauty were ten years younger, she could definitely be a huge star as a model. Even now, she could still capture the hearts of many men!

"Yang'er! Yang'er!"

The woman in the cheongsam rushed forward upon seeing Shao Huayang, hugging him and crying, "You worried me to death… If something happened to you, what… what would I do?" "...

What? Mother?" Shao Huayang was stunned. He was no longer like yesterday when he had just transmigrated and knew nothing. He had already learned from Run Run Shaw who his parents were. His father was Run Run Shaw's eldest son, Shao Weiming, and his mother's name was Dong Mengyao. She was a daughter of the famous Dong family in Hong Kong. Back then, she was the most beautiful flower in the Dong family, and countless wealthy young men in Hong Kong wanted to win her heart. In the end, it was the patriarch of the Dong family—the shipping magnate Dong Haoyun—who arranged a marriage between Run Run Shaw and the 22-year-old "family flower" to marry Shao Weiming. However, this beautiful story in Hong Kong was widely reported by the media for a while.

After Shao Weiming and Run Run Shaw fell out last year, Shao Weiming naturally went to Singapore, and Dong Mengyao and Shao Huayang must have gone with him. Unexpectedly, only one day after his car accident, this adoptive mother rushed back from Singapore.

So, this middle-aged man is his father, Shao Weiming? But who are these two beautiful mature women in front of him?

But the next second, Run Run Shaw revealed the answer!

Run Run Shaw looked coldly at the three of them and said rudely, "Weiming, Suwen, Suyun, why aren't you enjoying yourselves in Singapore? What are you doing in Hong Kong? Suwen, Suyun, didn't you say last year that you wouldn't have anything to do with this old man in the next life? What, it's already the next life?"

Suwen? Suyun? Shao Huayang was taken aback, thinking, could these two beautiful women be Run Run Shaw's daughters, Shao Suwen and Shao Suyun?

Indeed, the two women before them were Shao Suwen and Shao Suyun. The oval-faced beauty was Shao Suwen, and the tall, conservatively dressed beauty was Shao Suyun. Last year, unable to bear Fang Yihua, the two women went to Singapore shortly after the Shao brothers left, leaving behind the words, "If Dad doesn't get rid of that woman (Fang Yihua), we sisters will never associate with you again in our next life." This infuriated Run Run Shaw, who berated the two women for being unfilial.

At this moment, Huang Meizhen pulled Run Run Shaw aside, signaling with her eyes for him to stop speaking so harshly.

But the three Shao siblings couldn't stand it. Shao Weiming sneered and said, "Dad, we can't accept that! How can we afford to stay in a place like Hong Kong? If we hadn't heard that Ah Yang had a car accident, we wouldn't have dared to come back and disturb your carefree life!"

Shao Suwen looked at Fang Yihua, who looked uneasy, and sneered, "So you're here too! It seems you really are going to be the future mistress of our Shao family. Ah Yang had an accident, and you came with my dad early this morning. It seems your time as a mistress is almost over!"

Shao Suyun chimed in, "That's right, but Sister Fang, you're not that much older than us. In the future, we, who can only be your sisters at most, will call you Mom. I wonder if you'll be happy?"

Fang Yihua's face turned red and white upon hearing these words, and she didn't dare to say a word.

Huang Meizhen's expression changed, and she turned to look at Shao Yifu, only to find that his face was gloomy, clearly very angry. She figured that if it weren't for her and Ah Yang being there, the old man would probably have started arguing with his children again.

Shao Weiming snorted, stepped forward, and walked to Shao Huayang's side, gently asking, "Ayang, are you feeling any better?"

Shao Huayang knew this man was his father, and quickly replied, "Dad, don't worry about me, I'm much better!"

Shao Weiming nodded, patted Shao Huayang's head, and said, "It's good that you're alright. You scared your mom and dad so much! We bought plane tickets and rushed back overnight!"

"Yes! Ayang, you… how could you be so careless? You scared Mom to death!"

Dong Mengyao choked out.

Seeing how much the couple cared for him, Shao Huayang was deeply moved and whispered, "Dad, Mom, I'll never let you worry again!"

With that, Shao Huayang hugged his mother and father tightly, the three of them embracing tenderly.

Huang Meizhen glanced at the scene before her, her eyes reddening. Shao Yifu, initially filled with anger, gradually softened upon seeing the family's embrace, his eyes softening with tenderness.

Chapter 007, Reconciliation

After leaning against his parents for a long time, Shao Huayang finally let go of them. Dong Mengyao choked back tears and said, "Ayang, come back to Singapore with Mom, okay? Mom can't bear to leave you anymore!"

Upon hearing this, Shao Yifu and Huang Meizhen's expressions changed. Huang Meizhen wanted to say something, but Shao Yifu shook his head at her, signaling her not to speak for the time being.

How could Shao Huayang possibly be willing to leave at this moment? Immediately, Shao Huayang took a deep breath, turned to Fang Yihua, and said, "Aunt Hua, can you go out for a moment? I have something to say, I miss you..."

Everyone was stunned. Fang Yihua looked at Shao Huayang with surprise, nodded, and turned to leave. However, she was also quite happy. Shao Huayang called her Aunt Hua, which showed that his hostility towards her was not too deep at the moment.

After Fang Yihua left, Shao Huayang glanced at everyone and slowly said, "Dad, Mom, Aunts, Grandpa, Grandma, I've lost my memory and forgotten everything I knew in the past! But I can still feel the warmth and beauty of home! As the saying goes, harmony in the family brings prosperity! Is it really impossible for our family to live together and have a good life in Hong Kong?"

Everyone was stunned. Shao Weiming frowned and said, "Ayang, you're still young, you don't understand these things..."

"No, Dad!"

Shao Huayang shook his head and said, "I'm all grown up now, twenty-two, an adult. And with this car accident, although I've forgotten the past, I have a deeper understanding of life! Dad, Aunts, I ask you, why don't you want to live with Grandpa?"

The three were stunned. Shao Weiming said, "Isn't it obvious? He (pointing to Run Run Shaw) wronged Mom. While Mom's first wife was still alive, he couldn't wait to find a mistress. Not only did he find a mistress, but he even brought her home and gave her a high position in the company. Tell me, is it meaningful to live with a father like that?" Upon hearing this

, Run Run Shaw's expression darkened. He had always known his children's thoughts; if he could give up Mona Fong, they would surely change their minds. Unfortunately, perhaps it was a case of old age making one sentimental, but the half-lovers, half-father-daughter relationship he had with Mona Fong was something he simply couldn't let go of.

Shao Huayang sighed deeply and said, "I understand what you mean! But Dad, let me ask you a question. Answer truthfully: in your life, has Mom truly been the only woman? After you got married, have you really never been with any other beautiful women?" "

This..."

Shao Weiming was speechless for a moment. He was currently running a real estate business in Singapore, and socializing and dining out were inevitable. Naturally, he was never short of beautiful women around him. He and Dong Mengyao had more of a respectful attitude towards each other as husband and wife, but not much love. He had been with many women in Singapore, and he had never thought about being faithful to one woman.

Shao Weiming was speechless for a moment, while Dong Mengyao's face turned pale. Seeing this, Shao Suyun stepped forward and said, "Ayang, that's not right! Brother is just playing around outside. How can he be like Father, bringing a vixen home and even giving her a position?"

Shao Huayang smiled slightly and said, "Alright, Aunt, let me ask you, since Grandpa took Fang Yihua as his concubine, has he had any affairs with other women?" "

This..."

The three men paused, exchanging glances. What he said was indeed true; Run Run Shaw himself didn't value women much. In recent years, besides Huang Meizhen, only Fang Yihua had been with him.

Seeing his grandson say this, Run Run Shaw vaguely knew that Shao Huayang was helping him, and he felt a surge of relief.

Shao Huayang slowly said, "Dad, I believe that over the years, besides Mom, you've been with quite a few women. Even if you haven't brought them home, your flings and playing around with countless women outside—isn't that more hurtful to Mom than bringing just one home? Grandpa basically never touches women, and he's very good to Grandma. Even though Fang Yihua is now favored by Grandpa, I believe Grandpa would never let Grandma suffer any grievances, much less threaten her position! Since you can have many women outside, and Mom and I don't blame you, why are you falling out with Grandpa just because he never gets close to women, simply because he wants to give his beloved one woman a little something that can't threaten Grandma's status?" Although I don't remember the past, I can feel Grandpa's care for me! You are Grandpa's children, and his love for you is no less than his love for me. Why can't you understand the old man's feelings?"

Everyone fell silent after hearing this. Run Run Shaw's eyes welled up with tears, and Huang Meizhen trembled slightly, unable to resist holding her husband's wrinkled old hand.

Shao Huayang sighed deeply and said, "No matter how old a person is, without parents, he becomes an orphan. The gateway through which he entered this world, and the barrier through which he leaves it, both collapse. With parents alive, his past is clear, but his future is obscured. With parents gone, his past becomes blurred, but his future opens up. Dad, Aunt, let me tell you a story! This happened on the mainland. Once upon a time, there was a man from Shanghai who, from his youth, had a somewhat distant relationship with his father. That..." When he was young, his family was large and burdened with many children, and his father was often in a bad mood and prone to outbursts of temper. Whenever this happened, he would grab a book in front of his father, walk out of the house without looking back, and hide outside reading for a long time, as a form of protest. Later, when he went to study in Beijing, his first letter home was several thousand words long, a comprehensive critique of his father's parenting methods. It's said that after reading it, his father simply smiled and told his other children, "Your brother is a theorist."

As he grew older and his children became adults, his father's temper became increasingly mild. However, whenever he went to Shanghai, he was always busy meeting friends and rarely home. Even when he was home, he seemed to have nothing to say to his father, and a sense of estrangement remained. One year, when his father came to Beijing, on a sunny day, his father suddenly suggested that he and his father go to Fragrant Hills together. The man was a little apprehensive, fearing that the two of them would be speechless and awkward on the way, so he specially brought his young nephew along.

In the past ten years or so, he had only written one letter home. That was after his wife became pregnant, knowing that his parents had always hoped he would have a child. The son then reported this to them as good news. In his letter, he said that he and his wife both hoped for a daughter. His father immediately replied, saying he would love it whether it was a boy or a girl. His letter was indeed filled with joy; he knew in his heart that I was also happy to receive his letter after so long. Who could have imagined that just a few days later, I would receive news of my father's death?

My father's death was sudden. He had always been in good health, and everyone had predicted he would live a long life. That morning, he went to the market as usual, carrying his shopping basket to get milk and buy groceries. Then… He walked to his workplace to handle some official business. Then, because he felt chest tightness and discomfort in the middle of the night, he asked his younger brother to accompany him to the hospital. An examination revealed a widespread myocardial infarction; he was immediately given emergency treatment and a critical condition notice was issued. At noon, he told his younger brother, who was by his bedside, not to panic, that everything would be alright. He truly couldn't believe he was going to die. However, an hour later, he stopped breathing.

The father never got to see that man's child born. As that man had hoped, he had a lovely daughter. Who could have imagined that his daughter had a terminal illness? He lived to be a year and a half old before dying. Every time he thought of his letter announcing the good news and his father's joyful response, he felt guilty towards his father. Fortunately, his father would never know this tragedy, which was perhaps a blessing in disguise for him. But having become a father himself and experienced the feelings of fatherhood, he realized with guilt that his father had always wanted to be closer to him, but he had so reservedly avoided it.

In just two short years, that man was plagued by misfortune, losing both his father and daughter in succession. While his father was alive, although he often pondered the question of death, he always... It seemed as if death was still separated from one's own. Those whose parents are still alive at least psychologically feel that death is still far away. Later, he became a father himself, but he failed to build such a barrier for his daughter. His father's death made him feel that half of his house had collapsed, and his daughter's death made him feel that he had become an empty house with only four walls. He had always claimed that one does not need to experience suffering to understand the bleakness of life, but now he knew that the understanding of those who suffer has a completely different weight.

After the story was told, everyone fell silent. Shao Huayang sighed and said, "Dad, Aunt, I told you this story because I wanted to tell you that Grandpa is getting old, and I'm afraid... I'm afraid... In short, I really don't want the tragedy of 'wanting to care for one's parents but finding them gone' to happen in our family. Harmony in the family brings prosperity, and I don't want you to regret it a few years later when Grandpa is gone! It's not too late now. Let's have a good family reunion and enjoy the happiness of family life, isn't that good?"

After hearing this, Shao Yifu and Huang Meizhen were both deeply shaken, took a deep breath, and shed tears. Huang Meizhen turned to her three children and said, "Weiming, Suwen, Suyun, Ayang is right! Although Mom hates your father a little because of Fang Yihua, I really don't want our family to be separated like this. Your father and I are both in our seventies or eighties, well past our sixties, and I'm afraid we don't have many years left. Can't you let the two old people enjoy a little family happiness in our remaining years? Do you want us to die with regrets?"

"Mom, please don't say that!"

Shao Weiming and the other two were shocked, and Dong Mengyao quickly said.

Run Run Shaw stepped forward and said, “Wei Ming, Su Wen, Su Yun, A Yang, and Mei Zhen are right. I don’t want the tragedy of wanting to care for one’s parents but finding them gone to waste to happen in our family. I’m over seventy now, and I’m afraid it won’t be long before I… I really don’t want you to still hate me then, leaving me with regrets as I go to the next world! Do you know why I’ve reached retirement age but haven’t yet handed over the reins of TVB’s Shaw Brothers? You’ve always thought I would hand over the reins of TVB to Ahua, but I can tell you clearly now, I won’t! Never! As long as you still recognize me as your father! As long as you’re willing to treat me as your father, then TVB will always belong to our Shaw family, and Ahua will never be able to get his hands on it! Of course, as long as your mother is still alive, Ahua will never truly be able to enter our Shaw family!”

These words were bold and precise, leaving no room for doubt.

The three men, Shao Weiming, Shao Suwen, and Shao Suyun, fell silent. Then, Shao Huayang spoke again: "Dad, let me say this one last time. If I were to leave you because of your affair, how would you feel? Do not do to others what you would not have them do to you. You certainly wouldn't want to be separated from me, so how could you bear to separate Grandpa from your son? Aunt, think about it too! If your son wanted to separate from you and sever ties, would you be willing?"

The three men trembled and lowered their heads.

A silence fell over the ward; no one spoke.

"Dad, I'm sorry..."

Suddenly, Shao Weiming, Shao Suwen, and Shao Suyun simultaneously raised their heads, choked out a cry to Shao Yifu, and then stepped forward to gently embrace his aged body.

"Good children! My good children!..."

Shao Yifu's eyes welled with tears. He never imagined that one day his children would be able to put aside their prejudices and reconcile with him. This was something money couldn't buy!

Shao Huayang, Huang Meizhen, and Dong Mengyao were also deeply moved, with Huang Meizhen's tears flowing uncontrollably.

Chapter 008, Going Home

. Under Shao Huayang's skillful persuasion, the three Shao siblings finally reconciled with Run Run Shaw, and the whole family was overjoyed. Shao Weiming immediately called his second brother, Shao Weizhong, who was still in Singapore. After Shao Weiming's persuasion, Shao Weizhong finally expressed his forgiveness of their father and said that he would return to reunite with Run Run Shaw and his wife after dealing with matters in Singapore.

Next, the doctor examined Shao Huayang and said that he was fine and could be discharged from the hospital. The Shao family happily completed the discharge procedures and took Shao Huayang home.

Of course, after leaving the hospital, Fang Yihua would not go home with Run Run Shaw's family. Run Run Shaw arranged a good house for her, but he would not let her live with his family, after all, she was still a mistress with a sensitive status.

The car Sir Run Run Shaw was riding in was a luxurious, imposing black, extended Lincoln. Shao Huayang had only ever seen pictures of this car on a computer in his previous life. To have the opportunity to ride in it today filled him with immense excitement. Fortunately, he managed to keep his composure and not show his joy, otherwise he would have been embarrassed.

Sitting in the car, Shao Huayang thought to himself, "It really is a luxury car. The space is so large that four or five people could lie down comfortably. Damn, capitalism is so decadent."

Sir Run Run Shaw's home was located in the Mid-Levels of Hong Kong, situated between Victoria Peak and Central. Living in this area was a symbol of wealth and status, and its proximity to the Central banking and commercial district made transportation convenient.

This is a residential area for the wealthy. Most of the residents here are super-rich individuals with net worths in the billions, even tens of billions. They are either influential figures in the business and political circles of Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan, or renowned in international finance.

Being able to live in a house here is an immense honor.

Palace-like mansions are nestled among green trees, shimmering beautifully in the golden sunlight.

However, this beautiful and tranquil natural environment is not for everyone. The exorbitant prices of land put it out of reach for most self-proclaimed wealthy individuals. Even the most basic residences typically occupy over 5,000 square meters, with yards equipped with various exercise equipment and planted with exotic flowers and plants; the lowest price is over 30,000 NTD. Living here next to familiar faces from television and magazines is a pleasing and prestigious thing, but sometimes, this prestige is directly proportional to the amount of money one has.

Soon, the Shaw family returned to their villa.

Even though Shao Huayang was mentally prepared, he was still captivated by the enormous mansion before him.

The magnificent five-story house, nestled amidst birdsong and fragrant flowers, made Shao Huayang feel instantly insignificant, given its nearly 10,000 square meters of space. And this was just the size of the house itself; there was also a large garden of over 500 square meters, planted with various beautiful flowers and plants. At this time of year, the flowers were in bloom, and the fragrant aroma wafted into Shao Huayang's nostrils, bringing him immense comfort.

Furthermore, there was an extravagant artificial lake, estimated to be over a hundred square meters, its clear waters shimmering in the sunlight, turning a beautiful sky blue, like a stunning sapphire. A few waterbirds gracefully landed on the shore, completely unafraid of the approaching Shao Yifu and his entourage.

In addition, there were three sports fields—tennis court, football field, and basketball court—as well as two underground parking lots. The beautiful house, surrounded by these beautiful, luxurious, and recreational facilities, made one wish they could live there forever.

At this moment, Shao Huayang, looking at the enormous house, was like a country bumpkin visiting the Grand View Garden,

his mouth agape, unable to utter a single word. Shao Yifu and the others, seeing Shao Huayang's state, secretly chuckled, thinking that Ah Yang had lost his memory and couldn't even recognize the house he'd lived in for over a decade. It seemed necessary to re-teach him how to enjoy life!

"Master! Madam..."

At this moment, Shao Yifu's old butler—Uncle Xiang, now seventy years old—hearing of his master's return, rushed out, only to be greatly surprised to see Shao Weiming and his three companions.

"Oh dear! Young Master! Young Madam! Eldest Miss! Second Miss! You...you've all returned?"

Uncle Xiang exclaimed in surprise.

"What? Uncle Xiang, aren't you welcoming us back?"

Shao Weiming chuckled.

"No, no, no!"

Uncle Xiang hurriedly waved his hand, overjoyed, "Young Master, Miss, Young Madam, I, Xiang, am naturally overjoyed that you're back! Oh! Young Master Yang!"

Uncle Xiang rushed forward, grabbed Shao Huayang, and asked with concern, "Young Master Yang, you're finally back! I heard you were in a car accident! Is... is your health alright now? My old man was terrified when he heard you were in trouble! He kept praying to the gods and Buddhas at home, hoping our young master would be alright!"

By this time, Shao Huayang had already heard from his grandmother who this old man was. He heard that this old man had followed the old man in building the empire a long time ago and was considered one of Run Run Shaw's confidants. He had often been taken care of by him when he was a child. He quickly said, "Uncle Xiang, I'm fine. With you praying for me at home, even the King of Hell wouldn't dare to take me!"

"That's right, that's right! Our young master is blessed with good fortune, protected by all the gods and Buddhas. He'll definitely live to be a hundred! This old man will pray to the gods and Buddhas more often to ensure our young master's safety!"

Uncle Xiang said sincerely.

Run Run Shaw laughed and said, "Alright, Xiang, let's save the auspicious words for later. Let's go inside! We'll have a proper family reunion dinner today!"

Everyone nodded, but Huang Meizhen sighed, "It's a pity that the second son hasn't come back yet. That would be a true family reunion!"

Shao Huayang smiled and said, "Grandma, don't worry, we have a long life ahead of us! Second Uncle will probably be back in ten days or half a month! We can have dinner together then!" "

Haha, Yang, you're right. Let's go inside! You haven't been back for over a year! Nothing has changed at home!" Run

Run Shaw chuckled.

Upon entering the house, Shao Huayang was once again overwhelmed by the sheer size and luxury of the place. He estimated that even the toilet alone was larger than the doghouse he'd lived in in his previous life, not to mention the other rooms and the living room.

"My God! Am I really going to live here?"

Shao Huayang muttered, then quickly realized his mistake and shut up.

But it was too late; everyone else had heard him and wore strange smiles.

Dong Mengyao patted Shao Huayang on the back and laughed, "Ayang! Now that you've lost your memory, this is practically your first time here! You need to learn to accept it gradually. People say that hard work requires a gradual adaptation, and so does enjoying life!"

"Yes, Ayang, you're starting over now! But Auntie believes you'll soon come to love this kind of life!"

Shao Suwen laughed.

"That's right! Ayang, remember this: those who labor with their minds govern others, those who labor with their bodies are governed. This world is inherently unfair! We are superior people, so we must learn to enjoy life, understand?"

Shao Yifu smiled.

At this moment, Shao Huayang couldn't help but feel a strange sense of vanity. Yes, he was now a superior person, and he was going to enjoy life to the fullest! 11-02 Chapter 009, The History of the Shaw Family (First Update)

At noon, the Shaw family happily gathered around the table for lunch.

Although Run Run Shaw was a tycoon with assets exceeding 10 billion, this great man valued frugality. His breakfasts were usually just porridge and cured meat, and his lunches weren't particularly extravagant either—six dishes and a soup, very ordinary home-cooked meals. In Run Run Shaw's words, this frugality was learned from his second brother, Shao Cunren. Back when he was a teenager, his family was also very wealthy, but his second brother remained extremely frugal, only eating the kind of rice porridge that poor people ate at the time—truly incredibly frugal.

At that time, the Shaw family lived in Shanghai. In Shanghai and the Jiangnan region at that time, ordinary people's breakfasts were extremely simple. For many years, the custom was to soak rice in warm water, add a little oil and salt, and that was it—very simple indeed. 365 days a year, every day was the same.

Being able to eat steamed buns and fried pastries was considered a luxury. For a wealthy family like the Shao family, providing their children with fresh, nutritious breakfasts every day was naturally not a financial burden. The servants prepared a wide variety of breakfasts for the children, trying their best to ensure they ate well. However, Shao Yifu's second elder brother, Shao Cunren, who was already in middle school at the time, ate rice porridge every morning. It wasn't that he disliked elaborate breakfasts; it was simply that he had developed a frugal habit from a young age and felt they were too expensive. Rice porridge was simpler and cheaper, and his family couldn't persuade him otherwise, so they allowed him to continue eating it. At that time, it was fashionable for the sons of Shanghai's aristocracy to eat breakfast at restaurants. Students would compete with each other, taking turns hosting, but Shao Cunren never participated. One day, several classmates insisted that Shao Cunren join them for breakfast at the "Shanghai Restaurant." The honest villager had no choice but to tell the truth: "I have already eaten breakfast. I eat rice porridge at home every day."

The students burst into laughter after hearing Shao Cunren's words. How could they believe that the esteemed second son of the Shao family ate only rice porridge at home every day? They assumed Shao Cunren was just trying to avoid treating them and was lying, shaking their heads vigorously. To find out the truth, they secretly plotted a surprise visit to see if Shao Cunren was telling the truth.

The next morning, Shao Cunren, who was enjoying his rice porridge at home, was suddenly confronted by his classmates, leaving him blushing with embarrassment. The wealthy students were stunned, speechless for a long time.

They had thought Shao Cunren was joking, but it turned out to be true. They had wanted to seize on his words to take advantage of him, but now they were too embarrassed to mention treating him again. Everyone held Shao Cunren in high esteem and silently accompanied him on his way to school.

The story of Shao Cunren's "rice porridge" quickly spread throughout the campus, becoming a popular anecdote.

Shaw Run Run's frugality was naturally something he learned from his second brother.

Even though the meal was simple, the family ate very happily. Except for Shao Huayang, the other six members of Shaw Run Run couldn't help but feel a pang of regret; it had been a year since the family had had a proper meal together. Shaw Run Run, in particular, was overjoyed.

The family ate and chatted happily. Since Shao Huayang was now an adult, Shaw Run Run even brought out his 20-year-old Fenggu liquor to drink with him.

After several rounds of drinks and dishes, Run Run Shaw looked at his wife, children, and grandchildren, smiled slightly, and said to Shaw Wai-ming, "Wai-ming, now that we have reconciled, I'll be frank. I hope you can return to TVB to take charge of the company. After all, it's better to keep the profits within the company. I'm getting old, and I hope you can take over!"

Upon hearing this, Shaw Wai-ming's expression changed, and he smiled bitterly, "Father, to be honest, I've never been interested in running TVB or making movies and TV series! I'm better off in the real estate business. Making movies and TV series has too many uncertainties. I'm better off making money by building houses. At least the houses are there, and I feel more secure!"

Run Run Shaw sighed deeply. He knew his son's temperament; once he made a decision, he would never change it. Shaw Wai-ming was hopeless, and Shaw Wai-chung was even less so. Run Run Shaw knew his youngest son well; this boy lacked courage, was indecisive, and always listened to his older brother. If Shaw Wai-ming wanted to go into real estate, Shaw Wai-chung would never come to work in entertainment.

As for his two daughters, Run Run Shaw didn't even need to ask. Those two girls spent their days shopping and getting beauty treatments; they had no jobs whatsoever, and taking over TVB was out of the question.

Finally, Run Run Shaw turned his attention to Shao Huayang. To be honest, Run Run Shaw genuinely hoped that Shao Huayang could inherit TVB and the Shaw Brothers company. After all, he was his eldest grandson. Born into a wealthy feudal family, Run Run Shaw still held some feudalistic ideas and highly valued his eldest son or grandson. However, Shao Huayang was only eighteen years old and had just lost his memory. Could he shoulder this responsibility?

In an instant, Run Run Shaw felt that Shao Huayang definitely couldn't take on this responsibility, at least not now. He needed to be tempered and familiarized with TVB and the Shaw Brothers before entrusting him with important tasks.

Looking at Shao Huayang, Run Run Shaw decided to first tell him about his own experiences and the history of TVB and the Shaw Brothers company.

So, Run Run Shaw looked at Shao Huayang and smiled slightly, "Ah Yang, today we're all reunited as a family. Would you like to hear Grandpa's story of how

he made his fortune?" Everyone was taken aback, thinking that the old man had never told Ah Yang about his past before, and Ah Yang had never cared about such things. But now, he was going to tell Ah Yang about his past. What was going on?

Shao Suwen and Shao Suyun, since their divorces, had been mostly carefree and didn't understand this at all. However, Shao Weiming, Huang Meizhen, and Dong Mengyao immediately understood. Run Run Shaw wanted to tell Shao Huayang about the history of TVB, Shaw Brothers, and himself, clearly so that Shao Huayang could learn more about Shaw Brothers and TVB and inherit them more effectively in the future.

Shao Huayang wasn't stupid; he immediately understood and was overjoyed. He said, "Alright! Grandpa, tell me about it!"

Run Run Shaw smiled and nodded, saying, "Okay! But Grandpa's story is very long! You'll have to listen carefully!"

Then, Run Run Shaw's emotions seemed to return to decades ago, his face showing longing.

"The early second century was the most prosperous and active period for Chinese merchants. Ningbo, Zhejiang, bordering the East China Sea, has always been a hub for merchants. Benefiting from its strategic location as a gateway to the sea, it was wealthy and renowned throughout the world. There's an old saying, 'No business without Ningbo…'"

Run Run Shaw smiled and slowly continued, "Grandpa was born into a wealthy family in Zhenhai, Ningbo. My father, your great-grandfather, was named Shao Xingyin, also known as Yuxuan. He was a dyeing merchant in Shanghai, running a sizable dye shop called 'Jintaichang Dye Shop.' Because…" With skillful management, wealth naturally abounds and business prospers. I am the sixth child of the Shao family, the fourth among the sons. At that time, my grandfather was not yet called Yifu. Following the naming convention of his first three sons, your great-grandfather named me, the sixth son, Renleng, and that is how I became known as Shao Renleng. Your great-grandfather had a total of eight children: the eldest, second, third, sixth, and eighth were sons, and the fourth, fifth, and seventh were daughters.”

Shao Weiming and the others knew all these things, but Shao Huayang knew very little. He seemed to have forgotten everything at the moment and listened very attentively.

"My three sisters married out long ago and, according to traditional Chinese thinking, are not considered part of the family. We five brothers are: eldest brother Renjie, second brother Rendi, third brother Renmei, myself, the sixth brother Renleng, and the eighth brother Renbao.

When I was ten years old, a highly skilled physiognomist named Ma Yi examined my face and was amazed. He said my features were unique, my bone structure unusual, my back thick like a camel's hump, my forehead high and broad, and my temples prominent. Such features are rare among southerners, and I was destined for wealth and nobility, possessing a crane-like personality.

This physiognomist said that although I was young, he had carefully observed my every move and discovered every unique characteristic of mine." "My physiognomy perfectly matches that of a crane. When I walk, my steps are large and light, my gait is unique and distinctive, very stylish and elegant. In physiognomy, anything resembling the characteristics of a certain type of animal is called a 'variant' physiognomy, and those who fit this description are destined for great success. My physiognomy is that of 'a beautiful jade hidden in a stone,' a noble physiognomy that indicates I will surely become a high-ranking official or general. Hence the saying: 'A person with rugged features, a pearl hidden in the sea!

' This fortune teller is truly accurate; everything he said has come true. My grandfather sent people to look for him when he grew up, but unfortunately, they never found him!"

Shaw Run Run said with some regret.

Shao Huayang thought to himself that fortune tellers for wealthy families would definitely say good things, but Shaw Run Run's extraordinary wealth and status coincided perfectly with what he said. However, Shao Huayang dared not say this aloud.

Run Run Shaw continued, "And soon, I, your grandfather, grew into an adult. My father sent me to the YMCA Middle School in Shanghai, an English-language school run by Americans. The baptism and influence of this new education stood in stark contrast to the outdated, rigid, and inflexible private school curriculum, nourishing my soul. Like a newly sprouted hairpin, I eagerly absorbed the sweet rain of knowledge, my horizons broadened, and my thinking became much more advanced. Soon, I spoke fluent English.

One day, when I came home from school, I told your great-uncle Renjie that I wanted to change my name because of my..." The name "Ren Leng" is a bit difficult to pronounce due to its alliteration and rhyme. Furthermore, "Leng" is the same as "Leng," which many people don't recognize. People often call Grandpa "Shao Renfang." Unexpectedly, your great-grandfather also wanted to change his name, and we were of the same mind. So, we consulted our two brothers.

The four of us discussed it all night long, and finally decided that my eldest brother would be called "Zuiweng," my second brother "Cunren," my third brother "Shanke," and I "Yifu." From then on, the name Shao Yifu was officially associated with Grandpa! As

Shao Yifu spoke, his eyes sparkled, as if recalling the carefree, playful days of his youth with his brothers.

"Later, as my brothers and I grew up, our father intended for us to inherit his business. Unfortunately, children grow up and are no longer under their father's control. We children harbored lofty ambitions, all wanting to spread our wings and fly high to realize our colorful dreams and ideals, rather than relying on the family business to live off the family fortune. Our thoughts were contrary to those of your great-grandfather, and we could not reach a consensus. Your great-grandfather was heartbroken to see that the dyeing and dyeing business he had built with all his energy and life's blood had no one to inherit it, but he could only sigh to the heavens and let his children fly freely. Back then, I did not understand my father's feelings of having no one to carry on his business. Now, I finally understand..."

As he spoke, Run Run Shaw glanced at Shaw Weiming intentionally or unintentionally.

"At that time, my four brothers and I were determined to go out and establish our own households. Our father reluctantly agreed. However, the old man, bound by feudal ethics, was extremely conservative. Although he agreed to let his children develop freely and pursue their own futures, he had one commandment that we children had to abide by: from then on, we were not allowed to use the original names he had given us four brothers, Renjie, Rendi, Renmei, and Renleng. We were only allowed to use our current nicknames. He didn't want us to fail and bring shame to the family in the future. We agreed without even thinking about it! From then on, there was Run Run Shaw in the world, but no more Run Run Shaw!" Run

Run Shaw sighed.

"When the four of us brothers received our father's permission, it was like having a 'sacred sword' in our hands, so we were naturally overjoyed. My eldest brother was especially excited, his face beaming with joy. He was itching to make a name for himself. Although my eldest brother wasn't particularly handsome, he was naturally quick-witted and exceptionally intelligent. He could learn anything at a glance and master it in no time. His greatest characteristic, and what made him most admirable, was his eloquent speech. He could give impromptu speeches for hours on end, without needing a script and without any logical inconsistencies. Therefore, during his school years, he was always a prominent figure on the podium. In an instant, before his opponent could react, he would launch a fierce attack with sharp words, leaving the opposing side speechless and utterly defeated. Every time, he would win the award, standing smiling on the high podium. I can say that if your eldest brother had been born in ancient times, he would definitely have been a top strategist like Su Qin or Zhang Yi, or at the very least, a top persuader,"

Shaw Run Run said with a smile.

In 1914, after four years of hard work and study, my elder brother graduated with honors from the Law Department of Shanghai Shenzhou University. Full of youthful vigor and ambition, he embraced his new life. Because of his excellent academic performance and eloquence, law firms of all sizes in Shanghai flocked to him, vying to recruit him with promises of high salaries. The far-sighted Sino-French Zhenye Bank in the French Concession acted quickly, ultimately securing this beloved and promising young man. They brought him under their wing and appointed him as their legal counsel. As it turned out, their judgment was correct. Later, in several economic disputes, Zhenye Bank relied entirely on the elder brother's wisdom and courage to turn seemingly hopeless cases into victories. This not only recovered the bank's losses but also established Shao Zuiweng's reputation in the legal profession, making his competitors wary of underestimating him.

After several successful trials, the Zhenye Bank board of directors greatly appreciated the elder brother's talent and, to recognize his contributions to the bank, promoted him to manager, breaking with precedent.

Early 1920s Shanghai was a vibrant, materialistic, and decadent world of turmoil. Chow Yun-fat's (Ah Fat) version of *Shanghai Bund* was indeed well-made, but in my opinion, it didn't quite capture the essence of the era. At that time, the bustling metropolis was a melting pot of all sorts of characters. Various gangs and factions carved out their own territories, causing trouble and committing crimes. The largest city in the Far East became a paradise for "adventurers."

Surrounded by this treacherous, complex, and unpredictable environment, my brother developed a calm and fearless character. Whether by fate or destiny, a chance encounter led him to the entertainment industry, paving the way for my later career. There was an entertainment complex in Shanghai called "Little Stage," which housed all sorts of entertainment... The entertainment program included Peking Opera, acrobatics, storytelling, and the latest silent films. A perfectly good business location, however, suffered repeated losses and accumulated debts due to the owner's mismanagement. Driven to desperation by creditors, the owner had no choice but to auction off the "small stage." The shrewd and decisive eldest brother knew it was a treasure, and with his father's financial support, he bought it. Later, through his management, the "small stage" regained its former glory. Furthermore, the eldest brother used the small stage to embark on the path of entertainment films, founding "Tianyi Film Company." "I can say that without my eldest brother's Tianyi, I believe I would never have thought of making movies in my entire life,"

Shaw Run Run said emotionally. "So, my eldest brother is the founder of our Shaw family's film empire!"

In 1924, Tianyi Film Company was officially established. My eldest brother called the three of us brothers to work under him. We brothers worked together with one heart and one mind, and we produced two films, "The Heroine Li Feifei" and "Becoming a Buddha on the Spot," which instantly made us famous. Almost everyone in Shanghai knew the name "Tianyi." At that time, we Shaw Brothers were riding high and enjoying unparalleled glory! After a year of development, we became even more prosperous! My eldest brother even married Chen Yumei, a famous actress in Shanghai at the time.

But just when we were feeling triumphant, who knew that unexpected events would occur? The old-established "Star Company" and the other five major film companies were envious of our success . Tianyi's rapid development led to a coalition of six major film companies attempting to "encircle and suppress" it, aiming to annihilate it.

At the time, Shanghai's Star Film Company was unparalleled in its dominance. A long-established and financially powerful company, it boasted a wealth of talent and stars, including renowned figures like Hu Die, Yang Naimei, and Ruan Lingyu. Who dared to challenge it?

Controlling two-thirds of the film industry and leading Chinese cinematic trends, Star Film Company always had the power to do as it pleased. A single word from them could send shivers down the spines of Shanghai's film industry.

Before Tianyi's debut, several small, reckless film companies dared to challenge Star Film Company.

Some failed within days of their founding, while others, though struggling, ultimately suffered a crushing defeat.

Intimidated by Star Film Company's power, for a long time, no one dared to attempt such a feat.

Zhou Jianyun, the boss of "Star Company," once boasted in public that anyone who dared to oppose Star Company would be utterly crushed! He declared, "Let them taste the power of Star Company!" The arrogant "Star Company" had dominated the Shanghai film industry for many years; shaking its dominance was virtually impossible.

However, the newly arrived "Tianyi" posed a serious threat to the industry giant, "Star Company," stealing much of its business. Stars wanted to switch companies, directors wanted to leave, and "Star Company" lost its former prestige.

Therefore, Zhou Jianyun joined forces with other companies to deal with us. Zhou Jianyun, as the leader, united with "Greater China Lily," "Minxin," "Youlian," "Shanghai," and... Five film companies, including Huaju, formed the "Liuhe Film Company," creating a powerful joint distribution network to resist and suppress Tianyi Film Company. This is the famous "Liuhe Encirclement" in Chinese film history. At the time, we were no match for the "Liuhe Encirclement." My brothers and I had no choice but to abandon the Shanghai market and find another way. After discussing it, we sent our third brother to Southeast Asia alone to try to develop our business again. Our eldest brother even said that if our third brother couldn't handle things there, I could go and help him. This decision changed the fate of my life, Run Run Shaw.

Forced into a corner by "Liuhe," Tianyi had no choice but to change course, abandon its Shanghai base, and go to Southeast Asia to endure hardship and try to develop again.

In March 1926, we left Shanghai by ship for Southeast Asia. Before World War II, Southeast Asia comprised Malaya and Singapore, both under British colonial rule. Due to its closed and conservative nature, the society, economy, and people's lives were extremely backward. Ordinary people led monotonous and dull lives, lacking entertainment and leisure. Furthermore, the Chinese who migrated there constituted a large proportion of the population. This was a key reason why my brothers and I decided to explore the Southeast Asian market.

My third brother, alone, with the film "Tianyi" and some capital, embarked on his journey to Southeast Asia.

Singapore was his first stop in his solo adventure; it was the political, economic, and cultural center of Southeast Asia, a veritable bridgehead.

At that time, Singapore had no Chinese films; only the main theaters occasionally screened Western silent films. San Ge used his social skills to reach out to local theater owners and promote his films. However, he encountered setbacks. The main theaters only showed Western films, and the smaller theaters were tied to "Liuhe," effectively blocking "Tianyi." "Liuhe's" films hadn't actually penetrated Singapore; they were merely a name.

San Ge, unfamiliar with the place and a newcomer, recognized the market potential of Singapore and believed he could succeed.

Despite this initial setback, San Ge was undeterred. He avoided direct confrontation, adjusted his strategy, and adopted a guerrilla tactic. He first screened films in surrounding towns before returning to the city center to seize market share.

This approach proved effective; his "Tianyi" films, appealing to a wide audience, were very popular and quickly gained traction.

Within a quarter, his business was booming.

Working tirelessly day and night, San Ge's hard work brought him a steady stream of wealth. His pockets were bulging with money. His business snowballed, and no matter how capable he was, he couldn't keep up. That's when he remembered Shanghai, his family, and how he could ask me, his sixth brother, for help.

He rushed to the telegraph office and sent an urgent telegram to Shanghai: Requesting my immediate assistance in Singapore.

It was then that I truly stepped onto the film stage, rushing to Southeast Asia to join forces with my third brother, Shan Ke, to create the legendary story of the 'Shaw Brothers Film Kingdom'.

At that time, I was nineteen years old, having just graduated from the YMCA high school run by Americans. After arriving in Southeast Asia, my brother and I, based on our circumstances, devised a practical solution. Unable to rent a theater to screen films, we rented open space, set up canvas tents, and posted posters on the streets to screen films produced by 'Tianyi Film Company'.

Every day at dawn, as the east was just beginning to lighten, my brother and I were already busily working. We each had our own tasks. My third brother was in charge of cleaning the venue, checking the projector, and setting up the canvas tent; I, on the other hand, wrote the names and descriptions of the films to be shown that day on posters, then carried a bucket of glue and went from street to street posting them. By the time we two had finished these essential tasks methodically, the sun was just rising. We would then begin the early morning screenings, welcoming the first audience.

By the time we saw off the last audience member, it was already past midnight. We would then have to dismantle the canvas tent and pack up the projector, often working until the rooster crowed before we could go to sleep…

Day after day, we worked tirelessly from dawn till dusk. Because of the continuous supply of films from our Shaw Brothers, their business flourished, gradually expanding from Singapore to major ports throughout Malaya.

Being observant and attentive, I noticed that many small towns and remote villages in Malaya at that time had no cinemas at all, and audiences had no chance to see movies. I carefully analyzed the situation: if we could develop the market in these places and bring films there for screening, we would definitely win over audiences.

I immediately offered my advice to my third brother, Guang San Ge. Doing business is like waging war; we have little capital, so we need to be flexible. I noticed that many small towns in Malaysia don't have movies, so we could tap into that market. Since there are no theaters, we could set up a mobile cinema, complete with a projector, screen, and seats. Then we could go to the countryside, delivering films to people's homes, attracting a large rural audience

. My third brother readily agreed. We bought a small, old truck, and after some "disguise," our

mobile cinema was born. Our Shao brothers' mobile cinema was probably the earliest mobile cinema

in Chinese film history. My third brother and I drove the mobile cinema, shuttling through the towns and villages of Kuala Lumpur, Ipoh, Malacca, and Penang, bringing joy and happiness to those who lacked entertainment…

To our surprise, this gypsy-style "mobile cinema" was extremely popular. Wherever we went, crowds thronged, a truly spectacular sight.

What my third brother and I remember most vividly was the screening in a rubber village in Ipoh.

That day, our car broke down en route, and a sudden downpour made the roads muddy and difficult to navigate, delaying our arrival at the screening location. We were supposed to arrive at 2 PM, but ended up arriving at 7 PM.

To our surprise, the kind and simple villagers had been waiting for us in the rain for a long time. They greeted us with gongs and drums, and set off firecrackers, creating a joyous and lively scene, like welcoming triumphant heroes. One offered towels to wipe our sweat, another brought refreshing tea, and still others busily helped unload the equipment… After the screening, the entire village, young and old, reluctant to part, saw us off for miles.

This traveling screening tour, while revitalizing our business, opening up the market, and generating profits, involved hardships and obstacles that are unimaginable to most people.

Malaya has a tropical climate, hot year-round, with unbearable heat. The sheer number of flies and mosquitoes is unbearable. We, the Shaw brothers, worked constantly in an environment of mosquito bites. After each film screening, our bodies were covered in large, red, swollen welts, incredibly itchy, and filled with unbearable suffering. Unable to bear the bites any longer, we simply wore long sleeves and trousers, completely covering ourselves to resist the mosquito attacks. You can imagine how unbearable it was during the sweltering heat of midsummer. After each day's work, we were soaked to the bone, as if pulled from a pool of water, our clothes drenched in sweat. One day, in Kanchanaburi, Penang, we brothers were screening a film. It was a scorching July, exceptionally hot and humid. Exhausted from days of work, coupled with the lack of breathability in my clothes, I gradually gave in and finally collapsed from exhaustion

in the vast, desolate forest where the film was being shown. The towering tropical trees blocked out the sun, allowing only a sliver of light to penetrate. My third brother and I trudged through the thorny, sparsely populated forests of Malacca. Our purpose was to show a film to the forest workers living in the area. There were no main roads, so cars couldn't get through. We, the Shaw brothers, carried the projector on our shoulders and in our hands, slowly making our way along the rugged path. The path was completely blocked by dense vegetation, filled with thorny bushes and weeds. Before long, my third brother's hand was already bleeding profusely from a cut. I had to pull out my knife and cut through the thorns and bushes. They hacked away at one section, walked another, repeating this arduous journey...

Suddenly, the third brother, walking at the back, felt a cold wind blow against the back of his head. Sensing something was wrong, he turned to dodge, only to see a spotted leopard lunging at him with its jaws wide open.

It seemed the three of them were about to be killed... But in the blink of an eye, several gunshots rang out, and the enormous spotted leopard fell to the ground, never to rise again...

It was the local native hunters who arrived just in time, firing repeatedly and killing the leopard, saving the third brother's life.

It turned out that the forest workers, worried that the Shao brothers hadn't arrived for so long, had sent several local hunters to meet them. They happened to encounter this terrifying scene on the way and immediately came to the rescue, saving the third brother from danger. "If we had arrived any later, the consequences would have been unimaginable..."

Even decades later,

Run Run Shaw still felt a lingering fear as he spoke. "My third brother, still shaken, immediately threw himself into the intense work of screening films. A narrow escape from death is a blessing in disguise. This experience honed our heroic courage and the fortitude of the Shaw brothers in the face of danger!

Just as we were wandering and struggling, Penang's richest man, Wang Jingcheng, generously offered his assistance. From that time on, we began to own our own cinema chain. We made our first fortune operating 'New World Amusement Park,' and they launched a massive acquisition spree of cinemas.

We Shaw brothers relied on a mobile, gypsy-style operation, taking each step steadily and surely. This initial accumulation proved very effective; soon, our 'mobile projection van' had grown to six films. During this time, my third brother changed his name back to his original name, Shao Renmei. As for why he changed his name back, he never told me," Run

Run Shaw said casually.

"After acquiring the cinema chain, our business further developed. In 1931, I went to the United States alone to purchase sound film equipment. On the way, the ship struck a reef and sank. Fortunately, I was lucky. After falling into the water, I clung to a small piece of wood and drifted on the vast sea for a night before being rescued by a passing ship. I then bought the necessary sound equipment from Hollywood. In 1931, through our efforts, we finally completed the production of our first sound film, 'Bai Jinlong,' in Hong Kong, which can be considered as ushering in a new era for Chinese films, moving from silent to sound. Through the unremitting efforts of my brothers and me, by the eve of the War of Resistance against Japan in 1937, the entire family owned more than 110 cinemas and 9 amusement parks in Singapore, Malaysia, Java, Vietnam, Borneo, and other parts of Southeast Asia, and established a complete film distribution network, dominating the Southeast Asian film market. At that time, Tianyi Film Company was in Shanghai, and Shaw Brothers Company was in Southeast Asia. We worked together, dividing the work and cooperating to build a film empire belonging to the Shaw family."

"However, this good fortune didn't last long. The brutal invasion of Japan in 1937 disrupted the entire development of Shaw Brothers. At that time, Shaw Brothers was struggling, barely surviving, and eventually forced to close down. Ah Yang, do you know how I felt then? It wasn't until after the victory of the War of Resistance in 1945, in the prime of my life, that I had the idea of starting a business again. I tried everything I could, determined to make a big splash and revitalize our Shaw Brothers business. I came to Hong Kong in 1957, when Hong Kong's economy was beginning to take off. After more than two years..." "Preparations were underway, and Shaw Brothers (Hong Kong) Limited was finally established in 1959. During that time, I began to devote myself to building Shaw Studios in Clearwater Bay, Hong Kong, covering an area of approximately 800,000 square feet. Unexpectedly, this project took seven years to complete. The studio was grand in scale and magnificent in appearance, comparable to Hollywood in the United States, and was called 'the Hollywood of the East' by people at the time. It wasn't until 1980, when I switched from film to television, that things finally stabilized. I won't go into the details of the process in between, otherwise it would take forever to finish talking about it."

Run Run Shaw smiled.

Chapter 010, Going to a Training Class (Second Update)

After hearing these words, Shao Huayang couldn't help but feel a deep respect for Run Run Shaw, but still smiled and asked, "Grandpa, why are you telling me all this?"

Run Run Shaw looked into Shao Huayang's eyes and understood that this kid knew his intentions, but still had to say them himself. He couldn't help but shake his head inwardly, thinking that this kid seemed to have become much more cunning after losing his memory.

At that moment, Run Run Shaw smiled and said, "Ah Yang, let me tell you the truth, Wei Ming and Wei Zhong are unwilling to inherit my Shaw Brothers television and film empire, and I, your grandfather, am unwilling to hand over this legacy to outsiders. Therefore, I hope you can inherit Shaw Brothers and TVB in the future!"

Shao Huayang was overjoyed, but his expression remained unchanged. He calmly replied, "Grandpa is talking about the future, not now. What can I do now?"

Seeing that Shao Huayang's expression didn't change, Run Run Shaw was very satisfied and said, "Ah Yang, I don't think you have the qualifications or abilities to manage such a large enterprise right now. So, I want you to go to the TVB acting training class first, concealing your background. Start as an actor, then learn how to direct from acting, and finally learn management. Familiarize yourself with TVB's facilities and filming process, and use your abilities to build a strong network of connections. This will greatly help you in taking power in the future! Do you understand?"

Upon hearing this, Shao Huayang's eyes lit up. He thought to himself, "Get into the TVB acting training class? I remember there are quite a few stars in this year's class! I can see what they look like! "

Seeing that Shao Huayang remained silent, Dong Mengyao assumed he was unwilling and immediately advised, "Ayang, you must understand, haste makes waste. You can't learn to walk without first learning to crawl. You have no experience managing a television company, so Dad is doing this for you..."

"Mom! No need to say more!"

Shao Huayang waved his hand and said, "I understand Grandpa's good intentions. Don't worry, I will strive to be a good actor, then a director, then a producer, and finally inherit Grandpa's position. I know Rome wasn't built in a day, and I will definitely work hard to make our Shao family's kingdom flourish!"

Upon hearing this, Dong Mengyao and the other three women were stunned, while Shao Yifu and Shao Weiming smiled slightly, thinking that this child had grown up quite a bit after losing his memory.

At this moment, Shao Huayang secretly chuckled to himself, thinking that TVB was full of beautiful women. If he could hook up with a few while working as an actor, it would be a worthwhile trip!

Then, Shao Huayang said, "By the way, Grandpa, I want to ask you for a favor!"

Shao Yifu was taken aback and asked, "What is it? Tell me!"

Shao Huayang said, "Since I'm going to the wireless training class, it's quite a distance from here. I'd like you to rent me a place near the training class. It doesn't need to be big, just enough to live in!"

"Ah?"

Everyone was surprised. Huang Meizhen exclaimed, "A-Yang, you want to move out? No! I don't agree! It's so comfortable living at home! Why move out?"

"Yes! A-Yang, Mom won't be used to you moving out!"

"That's right! A-Yang, it's not easy for the family to be together, isn't it better to live together?"

"It's tough living alone if you move out!"

Dong Mengyao, Shao Suwen, and Shao Suyun also objected.

Run Run Shaw and Shaw Weiming did not object. Run Run Shaw asked with a smile, "Ah Yang, can you give me a reason?"

"It's very simple, Grandpa!"

Shao Huayang said, "Grandpa made me go to TVB to become an actor, starting from the bottom, so that I could get the training I need. As the saying goes, 'Heaven will entrust great responsibilities to those who are first tested by hardship and hunger.' If I go to train while enjoying the comfort of this luxurious residence, I don't think it will do me any good! On the contrary, moving out means I can take care of myself, not only can I study in peace, but I can also learn to be self-reliant! So I think moving out is the best!"

At the same time, Shao Huayang added in his mind that he could also bring beautiful women back for the night anytime.

"Good, well said!"

Run Run Shaw clapped his hands and said, "Ah Yang, you've really grown up!"

"In that case, it's settled! Leave the house-finding to me! When it comes to real estate, none of you can beat me!"

Shaw Weiming laughed.

Seeing that Run Run Shaw and Shao Weiming had agreed, the four women, including Huang Meizhen, naturally couldn't object anymore. However, Huang Meizhen and Dong Mengyao kept urging Shao Huayang to call home every day and visit them every few days, to which Shao Huayang readily agreed.

※※※ In the afternoon, Shao Huayang returned alone to his enormous bedroom. Looking at the luxurious, spacious room, spanning seventy or eighty square meters, Shao Huayang was overjoyed. He sprawled out on the large Simmons bed, his body spread wide, savoring the experience.

It was like a dream; he never imagined he, Shao Aiwen, could live such a life of luxury. Thinking this, Shao Huayang suddenly remembered the dual cultivation manual. He quickly took it out and continued reading on the bed.

While at the hospital, he had only enjoyed looking at nude photos of celebrities; now, he was truly beginning to appreciate the content.

This "Yin Yang Mystic Art" is divided into three realms. The first realm is called "Gathering Qi and Nourishing Appearance," which is also the simplest level. As long as you use this book to have sex with a woman, absorb the primordial yin energy in the woman's body, transform it into internal energy through the energy circulation path above, and then return the energy to the woman, you can reach the level of dual cultivation. You can then possess internal energy, and both of you can maintain your youthful appearance, but your lifespan will not increase.

The second stage, "Refining Qi and Uniting Spirit," is quite difficult. According to the text, one must cultivate with at least twenty high-quality virgins or thirty women to potentially reach this level. Once reached, one's lifespan increases to two hundred years, and one's internal energy surges to the level of the Five Great Masters in Jin Yong's novels. The women one sleeps with can also live to two hundred years old.

The third stage, "Unity of Heaven and Man," is even more difficult. It is said that this level requires cultivating with fifty high-quality virgins or one hundred women. Upon reaching this, one's internal energy becomes inexhaustible, and both the person and the women they sleep with achieve immortality—truly the highest realm.

Upon seeing this, Shao Huayang was overjoyed, thinking, "Damn, immortality is here! Looks like if I play with more beautiful women, I can live forever!" Hahaha…

Furthermore, the book also records that once a man who knows the Yin-Yang Mystic Art has sex with a woman, the true energy he transmits will build a powerful protective network within the woman's body, becoming her protective divine power. From then on, that woman will no longer experience illness or injury; any ailment or injury can be instantly cured the moment it is received, essentially granting her a long and healthy life. On the other hand, the Yin-Yang Mystic Art also causes that woman's body to reject any man other than the one who transmits the energy. If any man tries to be intimate with that woman, the rejection function of the true energy within her body will instantly injure him, preventing him from entering her body. In other words, any woman who has a relationship with Shao Huayang will be dependent on Shao Huayang for the rest of her life and will never be able to marry another man. Upon seeing this, Shao Huayang was overjoyed.

Then, Shao Huayang looked at the last two chapters about martial arts and discovered a style of boxing called Cloud Thunder Combination Strike. This style had 108 moves, each with variations. Even without internal energy, learning this style would be more than enough to deal with ordinary thugs, which made him very happy.

Chapter 011, Ah Xing (Stephen Chow) (Third Update)

Next, Shao Huayang pondered how to expand the Shao Group.

To expand the Shao Group, the biggest need was to increase capital. With money, lots and lots of money, he could make better movies, build the best film studios, and acquire more companies and talents for his own use. The Shao Group was already very wealthy, but Shao Huayang felt it wasn't enough. He had to further expand his capital!

But how could he expand his capital in a short time? Using his transmigration advantage… Shao Huayang lowered his head in deep thought.

That's right! Wasn't there a global stock market crash in 1987? Shao Huayang instantly realized this and was overjoyed. However, he then thought that it would be several years before he could make billions. He wished he could quickly amass billions, but what could he do to achieve that? Shao Huayang pondered this with a troubled expression .

"Master, are you worried about how to make a lot of money?"

Suddenly, the little girl's voice rang out.

Shao Huayang was startled, then looked at the ring on his hand and said, "Little girl, you're awake? You know how to make money?"

"Yes! I've been awake for a while! Master, if you want to make money, I can help you!"

the little girl said.

"Oh? What methods do you have? What methods can help me?"

Shao Huayang asked happily.

"Hehe, Master, look how anxious you are, as if you've never seen money before!"

the little girl laughed. "If someone told you that their computer stores all sorts of information, including the results of every World Cup, Olympics, and other sporting events, what would you do?"

"What? Is that true?"

Shao Huayang was both surprised and delighted. If it was true, he would be rich! If he could know the results of every sporting event, he could make money through betting. Moreover, there seemed to be a World Cup football match in 1982, held in Spain, and Maradona would emerge as the most eye-catching new star!

The World Cup was held in June, and it was April now, meaning there were still two months to go. That was plenty of time. Anyway, the Shao family had plenty of money. Even if he only asked his grandfather for 10,000 yuan, he could definitely make a fortune through compound interest. Just thinking about it made Shao Huayang's eyes practically bulge with greed.

"How about it, Master? Very attractive! And I'm still in my infancy. Once I mature, you'll never imagine what I'll be capable of!"

the little girl chuckled.

"Really?"

Shao Huayang was surprised and asked, "How long will it take you to mature?"

"Well... about ten years!"

the little girl thought for a moment and said.

"Oh... ten years, that's not too long!"

Shao Huayang smiled slightly.

"Do you need me to tell you the results of this World Cup right now, Master?"

the little girl asked with a smile.

"No need!"

Shao Huayang smiled and said, "There's still time. Let me find someone capable of doing this for me first, then we'll talk about it!"

"Alright then, Master!"

※※※ Monday, April 5, 1982.

In a 100-square-meter apartment in Kowloon, Hong Kong.

This was the apartment Shao Weiming rented for Shao Huayang, and Shao Huayang had only moved in yesterday. The apartment was nice, with two bedrooms and a living room, which was good for Shao Huayang living alone. Today, Shao Huayang was going to attend a TVB acting training class.

However, Shao Huayang was brimming with confidence. Going to the training class was like child's play for him. This wasn't just because he was the grandson of the tycoon Shao, but also because last night, his little girl had implanted in his brain the acting experience of movie stars like Jackie Chan and Chow Yun-fat, as well as his photographic memory. Now, he could practically be considered a veteran actor.

Shao Huayang, dressed casually in jeans, had made and eaten breakfast at home, then went downstairs, hailed a taxi, and headed to the training class.

Because Run Run Shaw hadn't revealed Shao Huayang's identity, and because Shao Huayang hadn't frequently visited TVB before, no one except TVB executives knew that Shao Huayang was the grandson of the TVB tycoon.

When Shao Huayang arrived at the training class, naturally, no one came to greet him.

Shao Huayang got out of the car, paid the fare, and walked into the building standing before him. He took a deep breath, thinking to himself, "This is the legendary 'Star Shaolin Temple,' the place that trained Andy Lau, Chow Yun-fat, and Tony Leung into superstars. I'm here today to see it all, so I can become a big star, a great director, and even a big boss at TVB someday!

" "Um… are you also a student in the training program?"

Just as Shao Huayang was excitedly imagining things, a voice suddenly came from behind him.

Shao Huayang was startled and turned around to see a young man of about twenty years old grinning at him.

The young man's hair was somewhat messy, and he wore a pink hooded jacket with several stains, looking like it hadn't been washed for days. He wore patched jeans and worn-out white sneakers that were barely white, giving him a rather trendy look.

The man wasn't particularly handsome, but he was decent-looking. However, his eyes seemed to gleam with a cunning glint, giving the impression that he was a sly fellow. In short, he was an ordinary man who wouldn't attract any attention from girls in a crowd. But for some reason, Shao Huayang felt that this man looked familiar, as if he had seen him somewhere before.

"Um, are you calling me?"

Shao Huayang asked.

"Of course, is there someone else here?"

the man chuckled. "But you haven't answered me yet, are you a student in this training course?"

Shao Huayang quickly replied, "Oh, yes! I am indeed a student in this course, but I am..."

"But this is your first time attending class, or even your first time here, right?"

the man chuckled.

"? How did you know?"

Shao Huayang was taken aback and asked in confusion.

"Just look at you standing there for so long, with that lewd look on your face! I'm a student in this cohort too, and I was the same way the first time I came. I arrived before dawn and stood here for two whole hours, constantly fantasizing about becoming a big star, buying my mom a big house, a luxury car, and all sorts of delicacies!"

"What? Really? You're that excited? Can you really stand here for two hours?"

Shao Huayang asked with a laugh.

"Of course! I, Ah Xing, want to be a big star, and I can endure any hardship! Standing for two hours is nothing! When I'm filming, I can go for days and nights without sleep! I even practiced going for days and nights without sleep before, and ended up with panda eyes. Ah Wei even gave me the nickname 'Indian Star'!"

the man chuckled.

"Ah Xing?"

Shao Huayang was stunned when he heard the name. He looked at Ah Xing, suddenly remembered someone, and was shocked. He quickly said, "Um... classmate, may I ask what your name is...?"

"Oh, my surname is Zhou, Zhou as in Chow Yun-fat, and my given name is Xingchi, Xing as in constellation, and Chi as in Mercedes-Benz! And you, new classmate?"

Zhou Xingchi asked with a smile.

Chapter 012, Taking Care of Zhou Xingchi (First Update)

With a bang, Shao Huayang's head was buzzing.

What, Zhou Xingchi? Isn't he the future famous Master Xing?

Who else could it be but the future Master Xing, Zhou Xingchi, with sweat dripping down his face and a simple smile?

Shao Huayang couldn't help but feel excited. After all, he was a big fan of Zhou Xingchi's movies in his previous life. Of course, he was very happy to see Zhou Xingchi in person.

At this time, Zhou Xingchi could count the number of people who knew him on one hand. He came from a poor family. After graduating from middle school, he first worked as a contract actor for RTV (the predecessor of ATV Asia Television) around 1981, but did not officially enter the industry.

In 1982, Stephen Chow dragged his good friend Tony Leung (who wasn't interested in acting at the time) to audition for TVB's training program. However , it was actually Tony Leung who was accepted, and Chow was rejected. Undeterred, Chow persevered and auditioned again. This time, he was there for a second audition, claiming he was just a student there to make a show of it.

At that moment, Shao Huayang's eyes gleamed, and he brazenly scrutinized Chow, as if trying to see right through him.

Chow shuddered under Shao Huayang's gaze, wondering if this handsome guy had a thing for him…

Thinking this, Chow took a step back, looking at Shao Huayang with a hint of panic.

Shao Huayang snapped out of his daze and, seeing Zhou Xingchi's expression, guessed that he might have misunderstood him. He quickly said, "I'm sorry, Xingchi, it was a bit rude of me to look at you like that. My name is Shao Huayang, Shao from Uncle Shao, Hua from China, and Yang from sunshine. It's nice to meet you!"

Zhou Xingchi breathed a sigh of relief and smiled, "Okay, I'll call you Yang from now on! Yang, are you going to class now?"

"Yes, Xingchi, let's go to the classroom together!"

Shao Huayang enthusiastically offered to go to the classroom with Zhou Xingchi.

"Um... um... you should go to the classroom by yourself first... I... I have something to do..."

Zhou Xingchi panicked a little when he heard that Shao Huayang wanted to go to the classroom with him. He had definitely lied when he said he was also a student here; he hadn't even passed the entrance exam yet!

Seeing that Zhou Xingchi's expression was off, Shao Huayang was suspicious, but still said, "Okay, I'll go in first! See you later!"

"Okay, see you later!"

Zhou Xingchi breathed a sigh of relief, thinking that he hadn't given himself away.

Shao Huayang entered the training class but didn't go to the classroom. Instead, he went to the personnel

office first. He knocked on the door, and a voice inside said, "Come in." Shao Huayang pushed the door open and entered.

Inside sat a refined-looking middle-aged man in his forties, wearing glasses. As soon as Shao Huayang walked in, he immediately smiled and said, "Uncle Zhong, hello!"

The man was Zhong Jinghui, the famous instructor of the acting training class, the actor who played the old villain Jin De in Leon Lai's film *God of Gamblers 3*.

Shao Huayang had already met him a couple of days ago through an arrangement by Run Run Shaw, so naturally, he went to see him first at the training class.

Upon seeing Shao Huayang, Zhong Jinghui immediately stood up and smiled, "Ah Yang, you're here! I've kept Uncle Zhong waiting!"

Shao Huayang smiled and said, "I'm so sorry to have kept Uncle Zhong waiting. To make up for it, how about I treat Uncle Zhong to dinner in a few days?"

Zhong Jinghui smiled and said, "Then I'll have to wait... Alright, Ah Yang, I've arranged everything for you. Let's go to the classroom now!"

"Wait, Uncle Zhong..."

Shao Huayang asked, "Is there a student named Zhou Xingchi in the training class?"

"Zhou Xingchi?"

Zhong Jinghui was taken aback, then thought for a moment and said, "No, I've never heard of him!"

"Is that so? Let me think..."

Shao Huayang recalled for a moment and suddenly remembered that in his previous life, Zhou Xingchi and Tony Leung seemed to have failed to be admitted when they came to take the training class entrance exam. They took the exam again for a long time before being admitted to the evening program (equivalent to correspondence courses). So now it seems that Zhou Xingchi lied to him earlier. He probably didn't come to attend classes, but to continue taking exams.

Thinking of this, Shao Huayang couldn't help but smile slightly and said to Zhong Jinghui, "Uncle Zhong, can I trouble you with something?"

Zhong Jinghui was taken aback, then laughed, "Ah Yang, what are you saying? You're someone I've watched grow up, what can't I say?" Shao

Huayang nodded, "Okay, Uncle Zhong, could you please call the audition office and tell them that if someone named Zhou Xingchi comes to audition, they should just ignore him and accept him directly! Also, don't tell Zhou Xingchi that he got in because of me, and you absolutely can't mention my identity!"

In the end, Shao Huayang still wanted to help this future great actor.

"Huh?"

Zhong Jinghui was stunned, not understanding why Shao Huayang would be so considerate of this unknown person, but it wasn't difficult, just a phone call, so he made the call.

At the TVB training class audition office, watching yet another person leave dejectedly, Zhou Xingchi felt extremely uneasy, thinking that this was his fifth time taking the exam, and if he failed again, should he give up?

However, this thought only flashed through his mind before being rejected. He absolutely couldn't give up on his dream like this; he had to be an unyielding cockroach, keep fighting, and become a big star someday!

"Number 9, come in!"

After another person left, the lady at the door called out the next number.

"It's me, it's me! I'm number nine, I'm number nine!"

Zhou Xingchi said, handing his number to the lady, then secretly glancing at her ample breasts before walking into the interview room.

Even though he had been there four times already, Zhou Xingchi was still extremely nervous.

He sat uneasily in the interviewer's seat. The two interviewers didn't even look up. One of them said in a calm, emotionless voice, "Name?"

"Zhou...Zhou Xingchi!"

Zhou Xingchi said nervously.

"Hmm?"

Upon hearing Zhou Xingchi's name, the two interviewers immediately looked up, sizing up the unremarkable young man.

Seeing the surprise and doubt in the interviewers' eyes, Zhou Xingchi was startled, wondering if he had done something wrong. He'd only said his name was Stephen Chow, and hadn't done anything else. How had he offended these two people who now controlled his fate?

One of them looked at Stephen Chow suspiciously and asked, "You're Stephen Chow?"

"Yes...yes, I'm Stephen Chow!"

Stephen Chow quickly replied with a forced smile.

"Oh...okay, you can go now. Come to class tomorrow!"

the other examiner waved and said.

"What?"

Stephen Chow seemed unable to believe his ears. "You...what did you say? Tomorrow...come to...come to class tomorrow? Teachers, what...what does that mean?"

"It means you've been accepted. You can go to the training class tomorrow!"

the examiner quickly explained.

Stephen Chow didn't know how he walked out of the TVB training class. He only remembered that his legs were trembling slightly the whole way. He couldn't believe it, he couldn't believe he'd been accepted so easily! Oh! God, this happiness came too fast! So fast that I don't even know what happened! He pinched his hand to see if it hurt...ah! Ouch, this isn't a dream...

Chapter 013, Entering the Training Class.

Leaving aside the fact that Zhou Xingchi was somehow accepted into the training program, Zhong Jinghui, after making the phone call, brought Shao Huayang to the classroom.

Looking inside from the outside, the walls were covered with photos of big names from TVB's 1970s films and television series, such as Gan Guoliang, Zhao Zhenqiang, Wu Weiguo, and popular stars like Zhao Yazhi and Chow Yun-fat. There were also group photos of recent trainees from various periods. They were the pride of the class and a powerful motivator for new students to study hard.

The classroom was very spacious, over 200 square meters, but there were only a few dozen desks. The teacher's desk was also piled with props, including a long sword, cigarettes, an abacus, and so on.

It wasn't time for class yet, and the dozens of students were either whispering to each other, reading, or sleeping, quite leisurely.

Qian Jinghui led Shao Huayang in. The students in the class were no longer children; seeing their senior instructor arrive, they quickly quieted down and sat up straight, even waking up those who were sleeping.

Qian Jinghui first addressed the class, saying, "This is the new student for this term. Although he joined later than you, don't bully the newcomer. If I find out who's causing trouble, you'll see in the monthly exam." He

started threatening before he even finished speaking.

Then, Qian Jinghui turned to Shao Huayang and said, "Ayang, why don't you introduce yourself first? After you're done, the other students can introduce themselves too, since you'll be studying together from now on."

Shao Huayang composed himself and, with his signature smile, introduced himself to the many handsome young men and beautiful young women below: "Hello everyone, my name is Shao Huayang. You can call me Ayang or Yangzai, it's up to you. We'll all be classmates from now on, so please take care of me."

Several female students below, seeing such a handsome young man, started swooning. "He's so handsome! Don't fight me for him, he's mine!"

"What do you mean 'mine'? Does he have your name engraved on his forehead?"

Seeing this, Qian Jinghui had to bang on the podium. "Now, stand up and introduce yourselves. Let's start with Weizai."

A handsome young man with a neatly combed hairstyle stood up. He wasn't particularly handsome, but he had bright, captivating eyes: "My name is Liang Chaowei. You can call me Weizai, that's what they all call us."

Liang Chaowei? Shao Huayang was taken aback. Upon closer inspection, he realized the person in front of him was none other than the future movie star, Tony Leung!

"He's still so green at this point! He doesn't have the mature charm he had in 'Lust, Caution' at all. He still has a lot to grow," Shao Huayang chuckled.

Next, the other trainees introduced themselves. Bobby Au-yeung, Francis Ng, Eddie Kwan, Ng Ting-yip, Lee Chi-hung, Cheung Siu-fai, and Lam Chun-yin were all future celebrities in the Hong Kong entertainment industry.

Chung King-fai arranged for Shao Huayang to sit at the same table as a dark-skinned man in his late twenties named Ng Wai. This man had a imposing appearance but wasn't handsome. Looking at him, Shao Huayang felt he lacked the look of a star and guessed he wouldn't have a easy time in the future.

As soon as Shao Huayang sat down, a very pretty girl leaned over and asked, "Welcome, new classmate, A-Yang!"

The girl appeared to be around twenty years old, with a slightly long face, but this didn't detract from her beauty. She had a gentle, kind of appearance, with large, clear eyes that shone like water, and a charming, small cherry-like mouth that was quite alluring. Combined with her delicate nose and fair skin, she was undeniably a beautiful girl.

Shao Huayang recognized the girl as Xu Manhua, a student in this cohort, and immediately smiled, "Hello, senior! From now on, we can be considered colleagues. Please guide me!"

"Hehe, you're quite the charmer. We're just ordinary students, no need for colleagues! But A-Yang, with your beauty, you'll definitely be a big star someday!"

Xu Manhua laughed.

"Not at all! Senior, you're the real beauty! You'll definitely be our company's leading lady!"

Shao Huayang replied with a smile.

“Hehe, okay then, let’s become big stars together in the future! I’ll play your lover!” Xu Manhua laughed.

“Okay, there will be a chance!”

Shao Huayang laughed.

Wu Wei, standing next to them, glanced at the two chatting and laughing, then turned his head away and picked up a book to read.

Xu Manhua looked at Wu Wei, sighed, and said, “This mute Wei, I really don’t know what he’s doing here.”

“Mute Wei?”

Shao Huayang was taken aback and asked, “Why do you call him that?”

Xu Manhua pursed her lips and said, “Ah Yang, you don’t know, he’s been here for over ten days, but he can count the number of words he’s spoken on one hand. He’s not active in class, and when the teacher asks questions, he just gives perfunctory answers, sometimes he doesn’t answer at all, often making the teacher very embarrassed. In my opinion, he’ll definitely be expelled when the exam comes!”

“Oh!”

Shao Huayang nodded, then turned to look at Wu Wei, suddenly noticing that he was reading a book on stocks and securities. "

Hmm?" Shao Huayang found it strange; why was this guy reading something like this?

He patted Wu Wei on the shoulder and said, "Hey, Wu Wei, Wu Wei..."

Wu Wei turned to look at Shao Huayang, asking casually, "What is it?"

"You're here to learn acting, why are you reading a book on stocks?"

Shao Huayang asked.

"I like it!"

Wu Wei replied.

"Aren't you going to be an actor? Why are you interested in stocks?"

Shao Huayang asked.

"It's my freedom!"

Wu Wei said, continuing to read.

Shao Huayang felt awkward. Xu Manhua laughed, "Ah Yang, don't talk to him. That's just how he is! He's so quiet, we don't talk to him much." Shao

Huayang ignored Xu Manhua, instead looking at Wu Wei thoughtfully, his brow slightly furrowed.

Suddenly, Shao Huayang stood up and said, "I'm going to the restroom!"

He then went out.

Inside, he stretched out his hand and whispered, "Loli, are you there?"

Loli's voice immediately came through: "Master, what is it? I'm reading!" *

Damn, you're a super-brain and you're still reading?* Shao Huayang thought to himself, but asked aloud, "Loli, do you have any information on Wu Wei, the guy who sat next to me?"

"You mean the big black guy who sat next to you? I don't have any information on him on my computer. He probably wasn't famous in his previous world. But don't worry, Master, I have a way to find out about him!"

"What way?"

Shao Huayang asked.

"Master, if you can get even a tiny bit of information from him, even just a single hair, I can find out everything about him from his DNA,"

Loli laughed.

"That's amazing! Okay, I'll go get it!"

With that, Shao Huayang strode back to the classroom, went to Wu Wei's side, and plucked a single hair from him.

"Hey! What are you doing!"

Wu Wei exclaimed in surprise. Xu Manhua and the other classmates also looked at Shao Huayang in confusion.

"Nothing, nothing! I... I'm going to the restroom again!"

With that, Shao Huayang quickly turned and left.

Xu Manhua, Liang Chaowei, Wu Wei, and the others were dumbfounded, wondering if this guy had something wrong with his head.

Chapter 014, "Feng Chengcheng" Zhao Yazhi

entered the restroom, and Shao Huayang asked the little girl, "Hey, little girl, I got the hair, what do I do now?"

The little girl's voice quickly came back: "Put the hair on the ring, and she'll wake up in one minute!"

Shao Huayang quickly did as she was told.

The moment the hair touched the ring, it vanished without a trace. Shao Huayang waited a minute before the little girl's voice came through: "Alright, now that we know who this is, let me tell you! His name is Wu Wei, born in 1952, thirty years old this year, from Hong Kong. He graduated from the Hong Kong University of Finance and Economics and was once the owner of a Hong Kong company called Haidong Securities. He was a very skilled stock trader, having used his company to merge with several small funds, amassing a fortune of 100 million. But a month ago, a failed speculation led to the company's bankruptcy, and he became penniless overnight."

"What?"

Shao Huayang was clearly surprised. "He's a stock trader?"

"Yes, his trading skills are excellent!"

the little girl said.

"Then why did he come to the TVB training class?"

Shao Huayang asked.

"Wu Wei has a friend named Su Minfeng, who will later be known as the 'Contemporary Lai Buyi' (a legendary figure in Chinese metaphysics). After Wu Wei went bankrupt, Su Minfeng told his fortune and concluded that if Wu Wei wanted to make a comeback, he needed to enter this TVB training course, where he would meet a benefactor. Wu Wei trusted Su Minfeng completely, so although he was reluctant, he still enrolled,"

the little girl said.

"'Contemporary Lai Buyi'... Su Minfeng?" Shao

Huayang was taken aback. He knew this person; he later became a big celebrity in Hong Kong, possessing unique insights into feng shui, fortune-telling, and other divination arts. With his innate intelligence and affinity for these arts, his judgments on feng shui and fortune-telling were quick and accurate. He often hit the nail on the head, resolving all doubts. Many wealthy and noble people in Hong Kong sought his fortune-telling.

But if Su Minfeng really had the ability to tell fortunes, then why did he tell Wu Wei to enter the TVB training course and find a benefactor? Could that benefactor be me? "And I just happen to need a trader, could this be..."

At that moment, Shao Huayang asked, "Loli, what's Wu Wei's personality like? Is he a treacherous villain?"

Loli replied, "According to the data analysis, although Wu Wei has unparalleled ambition for money, he is very principled and clear about right and wrong. He's actually a charming person, definitely not a villain!"

"Oh, if that's the case..."

Shao Huayang narrowed his eyes and began to ponder.

※※※ When Shao Huayang returned to the classroom, class had indeed already started, and the female teacher was a beauty, a stunning beauty.

The woman before him was truly beautiful to the extreme, appearing to be about twenty-eight or twenty-nine years old, at the peak of a woman's beauty. Her eyes, like autumn water, revealed a gentle and tender gaze. Her clear, large eyes were as beautiful and noble as the most beautiful pearls. Her high nose, medium-sized red lips, and long, slender black eyelashes, combined with her penetrating gaze, made the beautiful woman lecturing on the platform appear incredibly noble and pure.

She wore a snow-white long dress that perfectly accentuated her beautiful figure. Her curves were perfectly defined, her high, firm breasts and snow-white buttocks swaying slightly as she moved, leaving Shao Huayang completely mesmerized.

At that moment, all the men and women in the classroom were staring intently at this stunningly beautiful woman. No one noticed Shao Huayang standing at the classroom door. However, the beautiful woman quickly noticed the handsome boy staring at her blankly at the door and, startled, asked, "Who are you? Are you also a student in this class?"

Shao Huayang snapped out of his daze and hurriedly replied, "Yes, yes, I'm also a student in this class. I just arrived today. I'm sorry, teacher, I just went to the restroom!"

"Oh, it's alright, go back to your seat! Anyway, class has only just started!"

The beautiful woman smiled gently, not minding Shao Huayang's lateness at all. Shao Huayang quickly returned to his seat.

Back in his seat, Xu Manhua whispered, "Ah Yang, you took way too long in the bathroom! You went twice! If you come back late, you won't see Sister Zhi's class! You know, it's a fantastic opportunity for such a beautiful and famous star like her to teach us!"

Sister Zhi? Upon hearing this name, Shao Huayang looked at the beautiful woman on the podium and immediately recognized her. Wasn't she the currently popular TVB star, the famous Feng Chengcheng—Zhao Yazhi?

Speaking of Zhao Yazhi, she is undoubtedly a beautiful and unique figure in the Hong Kong entertainment industry. Originally a flight attendant, she participated in a beauty pageant held by TVB. With her dignified and beautiful appearance and gentle and graceful temperament, Zhao Yazhi immediately attracted attention upon entering the public eye. Judges and audiences alike gave her high praise. However, she ultimately only achieved fourth place. Zhao Yazhi participated in the pageant with a purely participation attitude, naturally not taking the result to heart. As a newcomer, she was quite satisfied with her fourth-place finish.

There are many theories about why Zhao Yazhi didn't achieve a better ranking. One theory is that she encountered some kind of "behind-the-scenes manipulation" during the pageant. At the time, Zhao Yazhi faced immense pressure participating in the pageant. In traditional thinking, participating in a beauty pageant was seen as appreciating women as objects, which many people simply couldn't accept. Especially with the addition of the swimsuit segment, which was considered tantamount to complete nudity at the time, Zhao Yazhi's neighbors gossiped about her, and her parents also faced immense pressure. What lingered in her memory even more was that a judge openly mocked Zhao Yazhi during the competition. After the catwalk, everyone had a few minutes to answer the judges' questions. At this point, this judge, completely disregarding Zhao Yazhi's embarrassment, directly asked, "Your breasts are as tender as freshly peeled chicken head meat. What do you think of that?"

Everyone knows that "breasts as tender as freshly peeled chicken head meat" originated from a line used by Emperor Xuanzong of Tang to describe Yang Guifei, who was accompanying him while drinking with An Lushan. Emperor Xuanzong wrote a poem describing Yang Guifei's breasts, and An Lushan echoed it, which displeased Emperor Xuanzong. Later, this line evolved into a "flirting poem," a particularly serious insult to women. Zhao Yazhi cleverly responded, "You want to be Emperor Xuanzong? You're still lacking the skill."

This answer left the judge speechless. Ultimately, Zhao Yazhi indeed failed to make it into the top three.

This Miss Hong Kong, who didn't even make it into the top three, captivated audiences with her personal charm, starring in countless classic TV dramas on TVB. Her brief but memorable appearance in "Chor Lau-heung" and her meteoric rise to fame in "The Bund" made Zhao Yazhi a household name on TVB, and one of Hong Kong's most popular actresses.

However, the role that truly made Shao Huayang fall in love with Zhao Yazhi wasn't "The Bund," but rather the wildly popular "The Legend of the White Snake" from his previous life. In that drama, Zhao Yazhi perfectly portrayed the gentle, devoted, and loyal Bai Suzhen, as well as the equally devoted and charming rabbit spirit Hu Meiniang. Shao Huayang was young when he watched the show, but he had already fallen deeply in love with this gentle and beautiful woman.

At that time, Zhao Yazhi hadn't yet filmed "The Legend of the White Snake," but seeing his idol of many years filled Shao Huayang with joy; he thought to himself, "What incredible luck!"

Chapter 015, Zhao Yazhi's Lecture

. In 1920, Run Run Shaw shifted his focus to the emerging television industry, giving rise to Hong Kong's Television Broadcasts Limited (TVB)—a media giant that would later influence generations of Chinese.

A few years later, the TVB Acting Training Class, inheriting the same star-making philosophy as Shaw Brothers, was established. Perhaps even Run Run Shaw himself couldn't have imagined that this initially self-sufficient star-training base would later support half of Hong Kong's, and indeed the entire Chinese entertainment industry.

Not every actor graduating from the acting training class became a top star. They even had to find their own internships, some struggling to find work and taking on minor roles, sometimes even going hungry.

Furthermore, the circumstances of each trainee after the course varied greatly. Taking on minor roles was an inevitable stage, but everyone felt a special kind of motivation, remembering that even Chow Yun-fat had played dead before he became famous.

To be honest, there can only be one Chow Yun-fat; not everyone is so lucky to become a leading man after just a few days as an extra. Therefore, many people practically endure their extraships in a daydream.

It is precisely because of the special status and role of TVB's training classes that TVB increasingly values the development of its artists. Therefore, in addition to hiring industry veterans to teach theoretical courses and acting knowledge, they also specially arrange for TVB's own stars to act as "teachers," allowing these big stars to personally instruct these newcomers on how to maintain a positive mindset, how to act, how to create characters, how to accumulate experience, and so on. Of course, the most important thing is to inspire them, using the real experiences of these successful stars to tell these newcomers that acting at TVB is a promising career path!

In TVB's slogan, it's: "Love TVB, love acting, achieve your star dream!"

Therefore, TVB's "own children," such as Adam Cheng, Liza Wang, and Carol Cheng, have to take on the role of "instructor" at the TVB training classes whenever they have free time.

Today, Zhao Yazhi, a former beauty pageant contestant, is giving a lecture.

On stage, she's enthusiastically sharing her insights on acting.

"Acting, in my opinion, is mainly composed of four words and three words!"

Zhao Yazhi waved and smiled.

"Sister Zhi, what are the four words and three words?"

a student asked.

"Good question! The four words are 'creating something from nothing,' and the three words are 'going crazy!'"

Zhao Yazhi smiled.

Everyone present was unanimously puzzled.

Zhao Yazhi said, "Let me tell you a story! You all know the TV series 'Shanghai Bund,' right?"

Upon hearing this, the students below shouted, "Of course we know! That's the show that made you famous, Sister Zhi!"

"I love Feng Chengcheng the most!"

"Sister Zhi, you're the most beautiful..."

The room erupted in noise, and Zhao Yazhi quickly waved her hand, smiling, "Alright, alright! Everyone, listen to me now. As you all know, I became famous because of 'Chu Liuxiang' and 'Shanghai Bund.' I'll tell you one story. It was two years ago, one night while filming 'Shanghai Bund.' I took a break from filming to go home. Because I was busy filming, I neglected my husband—now my ex-husband—so I wanted to go home and make him a late-night snack. But we got into an argument, and he even slapped me..."

At this point, everyone exclaimed, "Ah!"

Ignoring the students' astonishment, Zhao Yazhi continued, "He not only hit me, but also verbally abused me, saying that all I did was film, that I neglected my family, and that I didn't care about him at all. He also said that after so many years of marriage, we couldn't have a child (I've omitted Zhao Yazhi's child in this book; she has never been pregnant), thus cutting off the Huang family line. I was incredibly aggrieved at the time. Wasn't I working so hard to earn money for this family? We had a huge fight, and I angrily went back to the set to continue filming. I want to ask you female students, if you encountered something like this, would your mood instantly improve? Would you suddenly burst into laughter out of nowhere?"

"I definitely wouldn't!"

Xu Manhua exclaimed. "If my future boyfriend or husband dared to say that to me, I would definitely sulk for days and nights. For me to laugh would be impossible!"

“Okay, that student speaks well!”

Zhao Yazhi nodded. “At that time, there was a scene where I was on a date with Wen Qiang, who is Chow Yun-fat. I had to act very happy, laugh heartily, and act coquettishly, throwing a little girl's tantrum! I believe you can't understand how bad my mood was at the time. It was like the end of the world. But I still filmed that scene, and I filmed it very well. I was sad inside, but on the surface, I was laughing, laughing happily. To be precise, my heart and my body were like a yin-yang symbol, completely opposite poles!”

“Ah?”

Everyone was surprised. Tony Leung, who hadn't spoken until now, said, “Sister Zhi, is this what you call forcing a smile?”

"That's right, a forced smile, that's what a forced smile is! I was sad inside, but I had to laugh out loud, laugh happily, just like the radiant smiles of first love!"

The classroom fell silent for a moment. Tony Leung asked again, "Then, Sister Zhi, how much training is needed to be considered a qualified actor?"

Angie Chiu smiled and solemnly replied, "It's very simple. The most important thing for a good actor is to be able to cry and laugh. When it's time to cry, you absolutely have to be able to cry out loud. When it's time to laugh, you must laugh sincerely and naturally. Only then can you be considered truly qualified. Also, you have to separate your emotions from the acting. When you're asked to cry, even if you unearthed Qin Shi Huang's jade seal in your house and the government wants to reward you with a title, making you as happy as if you've eaten honey, you still have to cry as if your parents have died. Conversely, when you're asked to laugh, even if your house has just burned down and all your money is gone, and you're heartbroken, you still have to laugh as if you've won the lottery." Xu Manhua raised her hand: "Excuse me, Sister Zhi, what you're saying—laughing when you're sad and crying when you're happy—is just making up emoticons out of thin air. Isn't that just crazy?"

As soon as she said this, the whole classroom burst into laughter.

Zhao Yazhi nodded and said, "You're absolutely right. This brings us back to the four words and three words I mentioned earlier: 'creating something out of nothing' and 'acting crazy.' If a good actor can control their emotions so perfectly, they really do look like a lunatic. But within our professional scope, we should remove the last two words 'lunatic,' and then they become a 'god,' the god of acting that we all strive for!"

Upon hearing this, the entire classroom fell silent for a moment, then burst into applause.

At this moment, another student stood up and asked, "So, Sister Zhi, everyone knows you have superb acting skills, and you're so beautiful, are you the god of acting?"

All the students waited intently for Zhao Yazhi's answer.

Zhao Yazhi sighed, shook her head, and said, "No, I am not the god of acting!"

"Why?"

This was probably the question most people wanted to ask.

"Because my acting has flaws!"

Zhao Yazhi said with a smile. "You probably all know which two dramas made me famous...that's right, it's *Chu Liuxiang* and *Shanghai Bund*. Some people say I captured the essence of Su Rongrong and Feng Chengcheng, those two gentle, elegant, innocent, and charming beauties, Su Rongrong and Feng Chengcheng, who were hailed as the best wives and mothers in Chu Liuxiang's films. But do you know, precisely because my portrayals of these two characters were so deeply ingrained in people's minds, when I film other TV series, I unconsciously try to mold myself into that gentle image. And because of this, to this day, almost all the roles I've taken on are gentle and elegant beauties, and even more so..." "Sometimes I really want to play different roles, like Guo Fu, A Zi, or Kang Min. That would definitely be a breakthrough for my acting skills, but no TV series is willing to cast me in such roles! Everyone thinks I should only play righteous characters, the kind of virtuous wife and loving mother. If an actor can only play one type of person, then she can never be called a god of acting! The true god of acting is someone who can make people genuinely like a righteous character, genuinely hate a villain, be captivated by a gentle beauty, and shun men when playing a vicious woman. That is the true god of acting!"

Zhao Yazhi said slowly.

"On the other hand, it's very difficult for an actor to truly immerse themselves in a role, but it's also very difficult to detach themselves from that role. In acting terms, this is called 'separation,' like two souls. At first, you have to merge them together, and in the end, you have to separate them. If someone can reach this level at will, then I can say that person is a god, the true god of acting! But so far, I haven't seen anyone with this ability. Perhaps in the future, some of you will be able to do this, and then you will be the true god of acting! All scripts will grovel at your feet! Not to mention the Hong Kong Film Awards, you could probably even win Hollywood Best Actor and Best Actress awards!"

Zhao Yazhi said. 11-02 Chapter 016, "God of Acting" Shao Huayang (1)

Zhao Yazhi's words were very insightful, and at the same time, they also revealed Zhao Yazhi's helplessness. Shao Huayang felt this deeply. You know, in her previous life, Zhao Yazhi was indeed a very popular star in China, but Zhao Yazhi's acting had a big problem, which was that she basically never played any groundbreaking roles.

Whether it's Su Rongrong in "Chor Lau-heung," Feng Chengcheng in "Shanghai Bund," or Bai Suzhen in "The Legend of the White Snake," Zhao Yazhi embodies the image of a perfect woman, making her a favorite among countless men and a sensation across Asia.

However, there are advantages and disadvantages. Zhao Yazhi's biggest problem is that she has played too many virtuous woman roles, leading everyone to believe that she can only portray these upright and perfect women. No one has ever asked her to play a villainous role. In her previous life, Zhao Yazhi expressed her desire to play a breakthrough role, even a villain, so as not to repeat her previous characters. Unfortunately, this wish has never come true because Zhao Yazhi's gentle, refined, and virtuous wife and loving mother image is so deeply ingrained in people's minds that it is difficult to surpass and even more difficult to transform.

This difficulty in transitioning between different roles is common in the entertainment industry. Take Hu Ge, for example, from Tangren Media. He rose to fame after starring in two installments of the "Chinese Paladin" series. In both series, he played the roguish Li Xiaoyao and Jing Tian, leading many to believe he could only portray such characters. When Tangren later cast him as Yuwen Tuo in "Xuan-Yuan Sword: Scar of Sky," he faced heavy criticism, with many saying he couldn't handle the role. The public's perception of him as a roguish figure led to the belief that he couldn't play other roles. However, Hu Ge's portrayal of Yuwen Tuo was a huge success, becoming one of the highlights of the series. Similarly, Liu Yifei, one of the few actresses to break into Hollywood, also played many pure and innocent roles. Her performances as Wang Yuyan, Zhao Ling'er, and Xiaolongnu were all excellent, leading many to believe she could only play pure, noble, and perfect young women. This made it extremely difficult for Liu Yifei to transition to other roles later on.

That's how the entertainment industry is. Once a role becomes a classic, it's a double-edged sword, with both advantages and disadvantages. The advantage is that you can become incredibly famous, but the disadvantage is that it becomes difficult to transition to other roles.

At this moment, upon hearing Zhao Yazhi's words, Shao Huayang suddenly thought of a way to approach the beauty. He abruptly stood up and loudly proclaimed, "Sister Zhi, I

have something to say!" Everyone was taken aback. Zhao Yazhi looked at Shao Huayang and smiled, asking, "Young man, please speak your mind!"

Shao Huayang smiled slightly and said, "Sister Zhi, you haven't met your so-called 'God of Acting,' have you?"

Zhao Yazhi nodded, saying, "That's right. In my opinion, whether it's Brother Fa, Brother Qiu, or Sister Quan, they can't yet be considered 'Gods of Acting' who can handle all kinds of roles!" (Brother Qiu

is Zheng Shaoqiu, Sister Quan is Liza Wang, and Brother Fa is Chow Yun-fat—all currently popular actors. Although Chow Yun-fat is a year younger than Zhao Yazhi, everyone now likes to call him Brother Fa, so Zhao Yazhi also calls him that.)

Shao Huayang smiled slightly and said, "But as far as I know, there is another god of acting in this world!"

"Oh? Who is it?"

Everyone was curious, even Zhao Yazhi's eyes widened, wanting to know who Shao Huayang was talking about.

"Far away yet right before my eyes, it is I!"

Shao Huayang patted his chest, a smug smile spreading across his face.

The classroom fell silent.

Then…

"Hahahaha…"

"So funny! Hahahaha…"

"This kid actually says he's the god of acting? Holy crap!"

"On his first day of school, and he dares to make such a boast, this kid's got a screw loose, hahaha…"

Everyone unanimously mocked Shao Huayang.

However, Shao Huayang felt no embarrassment. He was absolutely confident in his acting skills, because the supercomputer had already inputted the acting abilities of all the major stars from his previous life into his brain. Shao Huayang was now confident that he could handle any role with ease. After all, with so much acting experience in his head, even a fool could become a master actor.

Zhao Yazhi chuckled and shook her head with a smile, saying, "This classmate, that joke is hilarious."

Shao Huayang smiled slightly and said, "Sister Zhi, I'm not joking with you! I genuinely believe I'm a god of acting. How about we make a bet?"

"A bet?"

Zhao Yazhi was taken aback and asked, "What kind of bet? Tell me."

Shao Huayang smiled and said, "Now, Sister Zhi, you can name any character you want, and I can play them all in front of you. It doesn't matter what the character is, as long as I can play them all to your satisfaction, you'll have dinner with me tonight, okay? If I lose, I'll treat all the students here to dinner tonight, how about that?"

Upon hearing this, everyone present was shocked, wondering if this kid was really crazy or what. He, a newbie who had just entered the wireless training class, actually dared to make this bet, that was really...

But since someone was offering to treat him to a free meal, that was naturally a good thing. All the classmates, including Tony Leung and Xu Manhua, started to cheer, shouting in unison, "Sister Zhi, accept his bet! Sister Zhi, bet with him..."

Only Wu Wei didn't cheer, but looked at Shao Huayang with a strange expression, not knowing what he was thinking.

Seeing that the classmates all had this attitude, Zhao Yazhi also disliked Shao Huayang's arrogance, so she nodded and said, "Alright, in order for the classmates to have a cheap lunch, I'll bet with you! What's your name?"

"My surname is Shao, Shao Huayang!"

Shao Huayang smiled.

"Okay, I'll call you A-Yang! Come up here!"

Zhao Yazhi said.

Shao Huayang smiled and walked up.

Zhao Yazhi said, "Let's start with something simple. You know that a person has three souls and seven spirits. The three souls are heaven, earth, and man, and the seven spirits are joy, anger, sorrow, fear, love, desire, and hatred, right?"

"Of course I know!"

Shao Huayang nodded.

“Alright, I’ll let you act out your seven souls now, starting with the Soul of Joy!”

Zhao Yazhi said.

“Hahaha…”

Shao Huayang suddenly burst into laughter, his face beaming with extreme joy, as if he had won the lottery.

Shao Huayang happily exclaimed, “I’m in such a wonderful mood! I’ve been Shao Huayang for twenty-two years, and now I can finally come out and move around! My spirits are incredibly high!”

As he spoke, Shao Huayang danced and frolicked on the stage, his joy so intense, like that of an innocent and pure child.

Zhao Yazhi stared in disbelief, as did the students below the stage. Shao Huayang’s genuine, undeniable joy was astonishing.

“The Soul of Evil!”

Zhao Yazhi announced.

In an instant, Shao Huayang’s face transformed from joy to fury—yes, intense fury. His expression resembled that of someone whose wife had been raped, and who was about to confront the perpetrator.

"This world makes me furious! My anger is like a raging river, endless and boundless! It's infuriating! I unleash my evil spirit, and now I hate you all, I hate you all! You bunch of bastards! I will resent you forever, until I die!"

Shao Huayang angrily pointed at the classmates and Zhao Yazhi, shouting furiously. Everyone present was frightened by his appearance, thinking to themselves... they didn't seem to have offended him, did they? Why did he hate them so much?

"Ai Po!"

Zhao Yazhi said.

Instantly, a gentle, captivating gaze appeared in Shao Huayang's eyes, as soft as jade, as gentle as tofu, so tender that the girls present couldn't help but blush when they saw that look.

Shao Huayang reached out and slowly took Zhao Yazhi's hand. Seeing Shao Huayang's eyes and the gentle expression on his face, as if she were his beloved, Zhao Yazhi blushed slightly.

Shao Huayang held Zhao Yazhi's hand and said softly, "Sister Zhi, without you all these years, I definitely wouldn't have made it this far! You are the most important woman in my heart. My love for you is so strong that even if mountains lose their peaks, rivers cease to flow, time stands still, day and night become indistinguishable, and all things in heaven and earth turn to nothingness, I still cannot stop loving you. Your gentleness is my greatest wish in this life. When the sun no longer rises, when the earth no longer rotates, when spring, summer, autumn, and winter no longer change, when all flowers, grass, and trees wither, I still cannot be separated from you. Your smile is my greatest longing in this life! I love you, Sister Zhi!"

As he spoke, Shao Huayang looked at Zhao Yazhi with infinite tenderness.

Everyone present was completely dumbfounded. Shao Huayang's eyes, acting skills, and lines left them speechless. Zhao Yazhi was even more dumbfounded. Looking at Shao Huayang's eyes that seemed to electrify her and his sweet words that she had never heard before but were absolutely irresistible, Zhao Yazhi almost believed that Shao Huayang was the person who loved her the most in the world. Suddenly, she had an impulse. She really wanted to immediately throw herself into Shao Huayang's arms and become one with this gentle and refined man whose eyes were like the most terrifying weapon for seducing women.

Chapter 017, “God of Acting” Shao Huayang (2)

Zhao Yazhi was confused at this moment, but Shao Huayang let go of Zhao Yazhi’s hand and smiled and said, “How about it, Sister Zhi, do you still need to try other souls?”

Zhao Yazhi suddenly came back to her senses and saw Shao Huayang looking at her with a smile. She couldn’t help but feel embarrassed and hurriedly said, “Forget it, I won’t try other souls! But this doesn’t count as you winning. Now I’m going to write a few plays. You can try to act with me. What do you think?”

“Okay, no problem!”

Shao Huayang smiled slightly.

“First is ‘The Return of the Condor Heroes’. Let’s act it out at the bottom of the Valley of Heartbreak, when Yang Guo and Xiaolongnu meet! You play Yang Guo and I’ll play Xiaolongnu, okay?”

Zhao Yazhi smiled.

"Alright, let's begin!"

Shao Huayang smiled slightly, then suddenly his expression changed. His face was a mask of surprise, doubt, nervousness, and bewilderment, all displayed on his lips. Zhao Yazhi was stunned by this expression, thinking, "No way! This is too realistic!"

"Long'er, is it really... really you?"

Upon hearing this, the students present, including Zhao Yazhi, were even more stunned. The words were spoken with such genuine emotion, filled with a palpable tension, as if everyone were witnessing Yang Guo and Xiaolongnu's reunion. For a moment, no one spoke.

Zhao Yazhi, a skilled actress, quickly adapted, her eyes also displaying joy, happiness, doubt, and surprise, as she passionately cried out, "Guo'er!"

"Long'er!"

Tears welled in Shao Huayang's eyes. The students were completely dumbfounded. "Damn, why is this kid crying? And he's just crying out of nowhere! Is this what they call acting?"

Shao Huayang suddenly hugged Zhao Yazhi tightly, crying out, "Long'er, you're not dead! You're not dead, that's wonderful... Sixteen years... Sixteen years... These five thousand days and nights, Guo'er's wait has not been in vain, Guo'er has finally seen you again!"

At this moment, Shao Huayang was embracing Zhao Yazhi. Zhao Yazhi's alluring fragrance immediately filled Shao Huayang's nostrils. Coupled with her curvaceous figure, especially her full and large breasts pressed against his chest, Shao Huayang was even more excited. However, it did not affect Shao Huayang's passion for acting. Instead, he hugged Zhao Yazhi even tighter, gently rubbing his chest against hers, and making the most intimate contact with Zhao Yazhi's precious breasts.

Holding Shao Huayang in her arms, Zhao Yazhi felt a surge of masculine energy emanating from him, and her heart fluttered. The gentle friction between her breasts and Shao Huayang's chest caused her body to heat up. Zhao Yazhi was both ashamed and surprised, but she had to continue the act. She choked back tears, saying, "Guo'er, I never thought... I never thought we would meet again. This is truly... this is truly..."

Knowing he couldn't take this advantage for too long, especially with many students watching, Shao Huayang quickly released Zhao Yazhi. Gazing at her face, he burst into tears, crying, "Long'er, your appearance hasn't changed at all, but I've grown old!"

Tears flowed instantly, soaking his face. Even the famously tearful Liu Xuehua couldn't have done better.

Seeing Shao Huayang crying so hard, his face so sincere, Zhao Yazhi couldn't help but join in the scene. She reached out and stroked Shao Huayang's hair, saying softly, "It's not that I'm old, it's that my Guo'er has grown up! Guo'er, don't cry. Today we are reunited as husband and wife, let's be happy!"

Shao Huayang held Zhao Yazhi's hand tightly and said softly, "Long'er, being reunited with you today is the greatest gift Heaven has given Guo'er. Even if I were to be shattered to pieces right now, Guo'er would be willing! As long as I can stay with you, Long'er, I wouldn't even want to be the Jade Emperor! Long'er, let's never be separated again, okay?"

Seeing Shao Huayang's sincere words and the boundless affection in his eyes, Zhao Yazhi, remembering how her ex-husband had treated her badly and the times he had beaten and scolded her, couldn't help but feel heartbroken.

It's important to understand that despite being a big star, even as the daughter of the President of the country, Zhao Yazhi, deep down, shares the same feelings as any ordinary woman: she too longs for a man who will cherish, protect, and love her. Zhao Yazhi, introduced by her family, married her ex-husband Huang Hanwei when she was only 21, a time of youthful innocence and yearning for her prince charming. However, after marriage, she discovered that Huang Hanwei was neither romantic nor knew how to please women. He had his own set of outdated and feudalistic beliefs, believing that women were merely appendages of men, that men didn't need to pamper them, and that wives should selflessly dedicate themselves to bearing children and continuing the family line. Therefore, he vehemently opposed Zhao Yazhi's acting career, leading to several arguments. Later, because Zhao Yazhi couldn't conceive, this caused further friction, sometimes escalating to physical violence. Finally, Zhao Yazhi, unable to endure it any longer, divorced Huang Hanwei a month ago, feeling truly wronged and heartbroken.

At this moment, seeing Shao Huayang utter such affectionate words, Zhao Yazhi couldn't help but let out all the bitterness in her heart, overwhelmed with emotion, as her eyes flashed with lightning speed. She was deeply moved and hugged Shao Huayang tightly, saying tenderly, "Okay... Guo'er... we'll never be apart again... never again... I'll be with you for the rest of my life... I don't want to be alone... I don't want to be alone..."

As she spoke, she even broke down in tears, clutching Shao Huayang's shoulders.

Everyone was completely stunned, including Shao Huayang himself, who was utterly dumbfounded. Shao Huayang couldn't help but secretly sigh, realizing that his acting skills were still inferior to Sister Zhi's. He hadn't expected her to be so deeply immersed in the role.

"Um... Sister Zhi... I... I said, are you alright?"

Shao Huayang reached out and stroked Zhao Yazhi's jade-like quilt, speaking cautiously.

"Ah!"

Zhao Yazhi finally turned around and quickly pulled away from Shao Huayang's embrace. Good heavens! What... what was he doing just now? To think... to think she was crying in the arms of a younger TVB trainee... this... this is so embarrassing... Oh my god... and so many people saw it... Zhao Yazhi felt a pang of pain; this was incredibly awkward.

"Oh!"

Suddenly, the trainees below the stage burst into applause.

"You acted so well!"

"Ah Yang! Ah Yang! You're amazing, we support you!"

"Sister Zhi, Sister Zhi, we love you!"

"Ah Yang, you're a god of acting, we love you!"...

Shao Huayang, seeing the applause, smiled slightly and said to Zhao Yazhi, "Sister Zhi, let's not play Yang Guo anymore, how about we switch to another role?"

"No, no, no!"

Zhao Yazhi wiped away her tears and quickly waved her hand. She dared not act with Shao Huayang again. His incredibly realistic acting had already captivated her, and she had even been moved to tears. If she acted with him again, who knows what might happen?

"Ah Yang, I'm impressed! Sister Zhi, I'm impressed!"

Zhao Yazhi waved her hand and exclaimed, "Your acting skills have conquered me. I've been in the entertainment industry for quite a few years, and I've never seen anyone with such good acting skills as you. You can make me involuntarily cry, even Qiu Guan and the others. I'm impressed. To be able to move an actor to tears, you can definitely be called a god of acting. I can have dinner with you tonight, you choose the place!"

Shao Huayang was naturally overjoyed. Being able to have dinner with such a beautiful woman as Zhao Yazhi was definitely a good thing. The male students below, including Wu Wei and Liang Chaowei, couldn't help but envy Shao Huayang for being able to have dinner with such a stunning beauty as Zhao Yazhi!

Chapter 018, Inviting Zhao Yazhi to Dinner (First Update)

At that moment, Zhao Yazhi said, "Ah Yang, I'm willing to keep my word. You tell me where to have dinner tonight, and I'll go with you!"

Shao Huayang smiled slightly, leaned close to Zhao Yazhi's ear and whispered two words. Zhao Yazhi was immediately surprised and looked at Shao Huayang strangely.

Upon seeing Zhao Yazhi's expression, Shao Huayang immediately understood what she was thinking. He chuckled and said, "Sister Zhi, don't worry, I still have money for the meal!"...

After class, Zhao Yazhi left, and a group of classmates immediately surrounded Shao Huayang, bombarding him with questions.

Xu Manhua exclaimed, "Ah Yang, you're really amazing! How...how did you manage to act so well? We were all stunned!"

Another classmate added, "Yeah! Ah Yang, you have such great acting skills, is there some secret? Tell us quickly..."...

A group of classmates bombarded him with questions, and Shao Huayang naturally gave a few perfunctory replies. However, when Liang Chaowei humbly asked him for advice, Shao Huayang answered a few more questions.

Wu Wei, however, looked at Shao Huayang with increasingly unreadable eyes.

※※※ TVB.

Inside Wang Tianlin's office.

Wang Tianlin, a veteran of TVB, was talking to Zhao Yazhi.

"Ah Zhi, you mean that trainee in the training class really has such good acting skills that he impressed you?"

Wang Tianlin asked doubtfully.

Zhao Yazhi nodded and said, "Yes, Uncle Tianlin, that trainee's acting skills are really amazing, especially for a newcomer, yet he moved me to tears. I think we should promote him!"

It turned out that after witnessing Shao Huayang's acting skills, Zhao Yazhi felt it was a waste for such talent to be in the training class, so she quickly came to Wang Tianlin to recommend Shao Huayang.

"Um, what's that trainee's name? I'll try to meet him when I have time!"

Wang Tianlin picked up a cup of tea and said while taking a sip.

"Um, his name is Shao Huayang!"

Zhao Yazhi said.

"Pfft!" Wang Tianlin spat out a mouthful of tea, coughing uncontrollably.

Zhao Yazhi, seeing this, was startled and asked, "Uncle...Uncle Tianlin, are you...are you alright?"

"I'm fine...I'm fine...cough cough...cough cough..."

Wang Tianlin coughed a few times, then said, "Ah Zhi, are you sure...that person's name is really Shao Huayang?"

"Yes...yes! Uncle Tianlin, what's wrong?"

Zhao Yazhi was completely bewildered.

"Oh, nothing. I know about it. Don't worry! I'll handle it! You can go out now!"

Wang Tianlin smiled and waved his hand.

Zhao Yazhi nodded, said nothing more, and turned to leave.

After Zhao Yazhi left, Wang Tianlin chuckled, touched his chubby face, and muttered, "I didn't expect this Ah Yang to have such acting skills, able to subdue this flower of our TVB. He seems to have unlimited potential...hehe..."

※※※ Six o'clock in the afternoon at the entrance of Shaw Brothers Studio.

At this moment, Zhao Yazhi had taken a night off from the filming crew of the drama she was shooting. Wearing sunglasses and a hat, she waited at the entrance of Shaw Brothers Studio. She had arranged to meet Shao Huayang at 6 PM that evening, and he would drive her to dinner. For some reason, Zhao Yazhi had been eager to see Shao Huayang again ever since they acted together, and now that she could fulfill her promise to go to dinner, she happily came.

However, Zhao Yazhi was somewhat puzzled by Shao Huayang's offer to pick her up in his car. Those who came to the TVB training class were generally young men and women from poorer families, either pursuing their dreams of becoming stars or trying to supplement their family income. Where would they find a car?

Therefore, Zhao Yazhi thought that even if Shao Huayang could get a car, it would probably be a van or a large truck, which would be quite...unremarkable on the road.

However, Zhao Yazhi wasn't one to discriminate against the poor, and at this moment, she wasn't worried about what kind of car she would be in, as long as she wasn't spotted by those damned paparazzi.

Just as Zhao Yazhi was lost in thought, a silver sedan pulled up and stopped beside her. A man leaned out and chuckled, "Sister Zhi, sorry to have kept you waiting!"

It was Shao Huayang. Zhao Yazhi was surprised to see the car Shao Huayang was driving. It was very beautiful and larger than a typical sedan, clearly a high-end vehicle. Such a car would cost at least several hundred thousand yuan. Zhao Yazhi wasn't unfamiliar with such cars; she simply couldn't understand where Shao Huayang got so much money.

"Ah Yang, is this your car?"

Zhao Yazhi asked疑惑地.

"Yes, Sister Zhi, please get in! I've already reserved a seat!"

Shao Huayang said with a smile.

Upon seeing her, Zhao Yazhi was taken aback and said, "Ayang, I'm all made up, how did you recognize me?"

Shao Huayang looked at Zhao Yazhi wearing a hat and sunglasses, chuckled, and said, "Sister Zhi, I have sharp eyes! Even if you were ten times better made up, I could still recognize you in a sea of people!"

"You're so cheeky!"

Zhao Yazhi smiled gently and playfully scolded.

Looking at Zhao Yazhi's sweet smile, truly as beautiful as a peach blossom, as ethereal as a fairy, Shao Huayang was momentarily stunned. Seeing Shao Huayang

staring at her beauty, Zhao Yazhi suddenly felt a surge of pride. She immediately opened the car door, sat in the passenger seat, and smiled, "Alright, let's go! Ayang!"

Shao Huayang snapped out of his daze, chuckled, and said, "Okay! Let's go!"

With that, Shao Huayang started the car and drove away.

The Kowloon Shangri-La Hotel, Hong Kong, is a renowned five-star hotel located on the Tsim Sha Tsui waterfront, facing the dazzling Victoria Harbour. Guests can enjoy breathtaking views of the harbour.

Naturally, the prices here are extremely high, ranging from several thousand to tens or even hundreds of thousands of dollars. It boasts an endless array of delicacies, exquisite wines, luxurious rooms, and even stunningly beautiful women—truly a beautiful paradise—provided, of course, that you have the money. The former Shao Huayang was a somewhat dissolute young man, a frequent guest of the Shangri-La Hotel, sometimes spending the night there with women of questionable character, all kept secret from his family. While the current Shao Huayang doesn't remember his past, the supercomputer knows his past memories and has told him many things. This explains why Shao Huayang chose the Shangri-La Hotel to invite Zhao Yazhi to dinner. It's no wonder Zhao Yazhi was surprised to hear Shao Huayang mention dining at the Shangri-La, as it's not a place the average person can afford.

At this moment, Shao Huayang parked the car and walked into the hotel side by side with Zhao Yazhi. Zhao Yazhi was a worldly star and was naturally not surprised by such a luxurious hotel. However, she wondered who Shao Huayang was and how he could afford such a luxury car and such a hotel.

Upon entering the hotel lobby, a beautiful hostess in a cheongsam politely asked, "Sir, Madam, hello. Are you here for dinner or accommodation? Do you have a reservation?"

Shao Huayang beckoned with his finger and smiled, "I've booked a private room for Cantonese cuisine. I am Shao Huayang."

"Oh, okay, sir, madam, let me check!"

the hostess said, taking out her walkie-talkie and asking a few questions before respectfully saying, "Okay, sir, madam, your private room is on the fifth floor. Please follow me!"

Shao Huayang nodded and followed the hostess upstairs with Zhao Yazhi.

Chapter 019, Teasing Zhao Yazhi (Second Update)

The second to fifth floors of the Shangri-La Hotel are all dining areas, with each floor being more upscale than the last. The fifth floor is the highest level, and booking a private room here would cost at least tens of thousands of Hong Kong dollars, equivalent to 50,000 RMB in my previous life.

At this moment, Shao Huayang led Zhao Yazhi into a luxurious private room. The two sat down, and Zhao Yazhi laughed, "Ah Yang, who exactly are you? You can afford to eat at such a nice restaurant, so why do you still need to attend training classes? What, do you want to be both a tycoon and a star?"

Shao Huayang chuckled and said, "Sister Zhi, I'm just an ordinary student. What do you think I am? I'm just someone struggling to make a living!"

"Stop lying!"

Zhao Yazhi shook her head with a smile. "You can drive such an expensive car and come to such a nice restaurant, you can't possibly be poor? Let me guess, you attend training classes… and your surname is Shao…"

Zhao Yazhi lowered her head in thought, then suddenly her expression changed, and she said, "Ah Yang, you wouldn't… you wouldn't be related to Uncle Liu, would you?"

Wow, this Zhao Yazhi is quite clever! Shao Huayang couldn't help but think to himself, and immediately waved his hand, laughing, "Alright, alright, Sister Zhi, let's not talk about this anymore, let's order quickly! I'm starving! Waiter, let's order!"

The waiter quickly brought in the menu, and Shao Huayang smiled and handed it to Zhao Yazhi.

Zhao Yazhi didn't refuse, took it, flipped through it, and said, "I'll have this celery and lily bulb stir-fried with black fungus... spicy wine braised conch... fish-flavored eggplant casserole... mango stir-fried with three colors... seven-color stir-fried beef tenderloin, that's all!"

As she spoke, Zhao Yazhi handed the menu to Shao Huayang.

Shao Huayang smiled and took it, ordered two dishes, and then said, "Bring me a bottle of your best red wine!" "

Okay, sir and madam, please wait a moment!"

The waiter smiled and went out.

Soon, all the dishes were served, and Shao Huayang told the waiters to leave; he didn't like being watched while he ate.

Zhao Yazhi looked at Shao Huayang with curiosity in her eyes.

After a few bites of food and two glasses of fine red wine, they both felt a little warm.

Shao Huayang smiled at the beautiful Zhao Yazhi and said, "Sister Zhi, it makes me very embarrassed to look at you like that!"

Zhao Yazhi smiled and said, "Ah Yang, I'm very curious, are you really related to Sixth Uncle? I think you look a lot like him, but he's much more handsome than you!"

"Nonsense, I'm more handsome than my grandfather..."

Shao Huayang blurted out.

As soon as he said it, Shao Huayang realized his mistake and quickly shut his mouth, awkwardly saying, "Um... um, Sister Zhi, you misheard... um... no..."

Zhao Yazhi, having gotten the answer she wanted from Shao Huayang, was quite surprised. A look of astonishment crossed her face as she said, "Ah Yang, you... you really are Uncle Six... Uncle Six... Uncle Six's..."

Shao Huayang inwardly cursed himself for his loose tongue, for getting carried away by a beautiful woman, and Zhao Yazhi's words had revealed his identity. He vowed to improve!

Hearing Zhao Yazhi's words, Shao Huayang knew he couldn't hide it any longer and chuckled, "Yes! Sir Run Run Shaw is my grandfather, and I'm his grandson!"

Zhao Yazhi was astonished. After all, she was still working for TVB, which meant working for Uncle Run Run Shaw, and this handsome young man was actually his grandson. This truly surprised her.

"Sister Zhi, I've always considered you a good friend and someone I can learn from. I kept it from you because I wanted to be good friends with you. You can't refuse to be my friend because of my identity!"

Shao Huayang said innocently.

"Oh, no, of course not!"

Zhao Yazhi snapped out of her reverie, smiling and waving her hand. "Ah Yang, I'm not the kind of person who resents the rich. After your powerful acting skills today, which made me cry, I decided to become your friend. I will never distance myself from you because of your family background, nor will I try to climb the social ladder. I'm just curious, with your background, why do you need to attend a training course?"

Shao Huayang smiled and said, "Sister Zhi, the answer is very simple. I hope to inherit my grandfather's business and take charge of TVB in the future. So, to achieve this goal, I need to learn a lot, which is why I entered the training course. Sister Zhi, are you satisfied with this answer?"

Upon hearing this, Zhao Yazhi couldn't help but admire Ah Yang for being a person with lofty ideals. She immediately smiled and said, "I'm very satisfied with this answer! So, Ah Yang, you're not only my friend, but you might also be my boss in the future? Then you'll have to take good care of me in the future!"

Shao Huayang laughed and said, "Of course, Sister Zhi, I was really happy to act with you today. You know, this is my first time acting, and I never expected to be paired with such a beautiful woman like you. It's wonderful!"

"Ah? Ah Yang, this is your first time acting? And your acting... it's just too good! How are we, the actors who have worked so hard, supposed to compete?"

Zhao Yazhi shook her head and laughed helplessly.

"Sister Zhi, you can't say that!"

Shao Huayang said, unable to resist taking Zhao Yazhi's delicate hand, and said softly, "You are my favorite actress. Your acting skills have been unanimously praised by us Hong Kong people. I still have a long way to go to catch up with you!"

When Zhao Yazhi saw that Shao Huayang had actually taken her hand, she blushed and smiled gently, saying, "Ah Yang, you are too modest. Your performance today was evident to everyone. You are definitely at the level of an award-winning actor!"

Zhao Yazhi's smiling and charming appearance truly made Shao Huayang feel as if he were surrounded by a sea of flowers. He couldn't help but chuckle, saying, "Sister Zhi, you're so beautiful..."

Hearing this, Zhao Yazhi's face flushed even more. At the same time, her hand was held by Shao Huayang. His large, heavy hand enveloped her slender, delicate hand, giving her a strange sensation; her heart began to pound. "

Oh my god? What is this feeling? Could it be that I... No, no, I... We've only met twice, how could this be..." Zhao Yazhi thought shyly. She tried to pull her hand away from Shao Huayang's, but when she met his seemingly electrifyingly tender gaze, she felt her bones go weak and she couldn't muster any strength. It must be

said that the super brain's ability to enhance Shao Huayang's acting skills was undoubtedly remarkable. At this moment, the tender, watery look in his eyes, conveyed through his acting, was something no young woman in the world could resist. Zhao Yazhi was only twenty-eight years old this year, not even old enough for women to be like wolves. After a failed marriage, Zhao Yazhi felt increasingly lonely and restless. Now, facing Shao Huayang, a young and handsome man, with eyes that revealed a strong desire for her, it was hard for Zhao Yazhi not to feel confused.

At this moment, Zhao Yazhi's pretty face flushed red, and she lowered her head, saying, "Ayang, you...you shouldn't look at me like that...Sister Zhi...Sister Zhi...it's making Sister Zhi very embarrassed..."

At the same time, she shifted her body somewhat uncomfortably. At this moment, she didn't look like a mature woman at all; she was more like a young girl experiencing her first love, feigning modesty.

Seeing Zhao Yazhi's girlish charm, Shao Huayang's heart pounded. At this moment, Zhao Yazhi, with her ethereal beauty, displayed a shy expression. Her cheeks were flushed, her eyes sparkled with spring, and her cherry lips curved in a gentle smile—more captivating than any beautiful sight in the world. As Shao Huayang gazed at this scene, his desire surged. Unable to control himself, he slowly took Zhao Yazhi's hand, gazing at her slender fingers, speechless for a long time. Seeing Shao Huayang staring blankly at her fingers, Zhao Yazhi felt both ashamed and annoyed, thinking, "This A-Yang…why…why are you looking at me like that…it's so embarrassing…"

Suddenly, Shao Huayang abruptly stuck out his tongue and gently licked the back of Zhao Yazhi's delicate hand.

"Ah..."

Zhao Yazhi trembled instantly, letting out a seductive moan. She instinctively tried to pull her hand back, but for some reason, a different thought seemed to be preventing her from doing so. Zhao Yazhi was now caught in a dilemma, unsure of what to do. At that moment

, Shao Huayang couldn't help but lick Zhao Yazhi's hand. He was worried she would get angry, but to his surprise, Zhao Yazhi's face only flushed more deeply, without any anger. So, Shao Huayang decided to go all in, taking Zhao Yazhi's slender index finger and slowly putting it in his mouth, licking it.

"Ah... Ah Yang... Ah... You... You don't... Ah..."

Zhao Yazhi felt incredibly embarrassed as Shao Huayang put her index finger in his mouth. However, a tingling, pleasurable sensation spread through her finger, causing her body to slowly heat up. A divorced woman nearing thirty was naturally very sensitive. Moreover, Shao Huayang was practicing the dual cultivation method of the Yin-Yang Mystic Art. Although he hadn't put it into practice, he was already a rudimentary expert in matters of the heart. At this moment, he gently put Zhao Yazhi's jade finger in his mouth, licking her fingertip with his lewd tongue. His lewd tongue was like the most venomous snake, constantly flowing across Zhao Yazhi's jade finger.

Shao Huayang had learned a method from the Yin-Yang Mystic Art to use true qi to arouse a woman's sexual desire. At this moment, his true qi had reached a preliminary level of proficiency. The Yin-Yang true qi traveled through the tip of his tongue to Zhao Yazhi's slender fingers, and then through her fingers to her body. Zhao Yazhi felt as if her body was in a warm zone, and everything around her was so hot. She really wanted to take off her clothes immediately to cool off.

What was worse was that her sensitive areas, such as her breasts, private parts, thighs, and anus, were surrounded by intense heat. That heat seemed like countless feathers, constantly teasing and rubbing against her private parts.

"Ah... um... ah... it hurts so much... ah... um... ah..."

Zhao Yazhi finally couldn't bear it anymore. The intense stimulation made her lose herself, and she couldn't help but moan. At the same time, her other hand slowly touched her large breasts...

When Shao Huayang saw this, he couldn't help but reach out and touch Zhao Yazhi's snow-white, full thighs, which were not covered by her skirt, wanting to further advance their relationship...

Chapter 020, The Beauty Who Suddenly Entered

Just as Zhao Yazhi and Shao Huayang were about to become intimate, suddenly, the door was flung open, and a figure rushed in.

This startled Shao Huayang and Zhao Yazhi. They quickly separated, and Shao Huayang angrily cursed, "Which bastard is it..."

But before he could finish the curse, Shao Huayang stopped.

Why? It turned out that the person who came in was a woman, and a very beautiful one at that.

The beautiful woman before him appeared to be around twenty years old. Her long hair was neatly clipped down her head, and her face was exquisitely beautiful. Her features were as captivating as those of a porcelain doll, and her foxy eyes, though now showing a hint of panic, did not diminish her beauty and allure. These eyes seemed capable of devouring any man's reason. Combined with her high, white nose and incomparably sexy red lips, everything about her made Shao Huayang's heart flutter.

The woman wore a deep purple, low-cut evening gown, exposing large expanses of her fair skin. Her deep cleavage and high breasts were even more alluring under the gown. She had a slender figure, with a high bust, a high, rounded bottom, and long, perfect legs that were barely concealed by the dress. She was simply a stunning beauty who embodied all the beauty in the world!

At this moment, the beautiful woman entered and, upon seeing Shao Huayang and Zhao Yazhi, immediately called out, "Please, let me hide for a moment, someone's here..."

Before she could finish speaking, two burly men in black suits and sunglasses rushed in. One of them shouted menacingly, "You little bitch, so you're here! Damn it, are you tired of living? You dare hit our Brother Yan! Come back with us now!"

The beautiful woman, terrified, quickly hid behind Shao Huayang, crying out, "How can you blame me? He tried to molest me, how could I not fight back..."

"You stinking bitch, still being stubborn! Come back with me now, if you serve Brother Yan and Brother Qiang well, they might forgive you, and you might even have a way out!"

The two burly men seemed to completely ignore Zhao Yazhi and Shao Huayang, and walked forward to pull the beautiful woman away.

"Stop!"

Shao Huayang was furious that these people dared to ignore him, and immediately shouted, stepping in between to block the two men.

The two men were taken aback, not expecting anyone to dare block their way. One of them pointed at Shao Huayang and shouted, "Where did you come from, you bastard? How dare you interfere in the affairs of our Sun Yee On!"

Sun Yee On? Wasn't that Xiang Huaqiang's organization? Shao Huayang thought to himself, but his face remained unfazed. So what if it was Sun Yee On? His grandfather had a close relationship with Xiang Qian, the founder of Sun Yee On. Even their big boss, Xiang Huaqiang, had to call him Sixth Uncle. Did he think he was afraid of them?

Shao Huayang sneered, "Who are you calling a bastard?"

"You're the bastard!"

the man blurted out.

"That's right, I'm the bastard!"

Shao Huayang laughed loudly.

The two men were stunned for a moment, then came to their senses, enraged. They both threw punches at Shao Huayang.

Although Shao Huayang had never slept with a woman and couldn't yet unleash the full power of the Yin-Yang Profound Art, he had already achieved some success in the fist techniques and internal energy cultivation methods recorded within it. Seeing the two men's fists coming at him, he clenched his fists, stepped forward, and swiftly dodged the attacks. Then, he unleashed two hook punches. "Ah!"

"Ah!"

With two screams, the two burly men's jaws were struck by Shao Huayang's fists, and they fell backward, unconscious.

Shao Huayang was both surprised and delighted. He hadn't expected his fists to be so powerful, so easily defeating these two burly men.

At this moment, Zhao Yazhi and the beautiful woman were both terrified. Zhao Yazhi rushed forward, grabbed Shao Huayang, and cried out, "Ah... Ah Yang, we... we should leave quickly! This place is not safe to stay!"

Shao Huayang nodded and said, "That's true, really, we came here for a meal and encountered this kind of thing, what bad luck!"

As he spoke, Shao Huayang turned his head and looked at the beautiful woman, saying, "Miss, although I don't know who you are, I know you must be in trouble. Why don't we leave together?"

The beautiful woman was stunned for a moment, and then said, "Okay, okay, let's leave quickly!"

"Oh! Ah Lin, Ah Lin..."

Just then, a series of hurried footsteps and anxious shouts came in, and then a fat man wearing glasses ran in.

The fat man entered and, seeing the two burly men lying unconscious on the ground, was startled. He said, "What... what happened?"

Shao Huayang, fearless, immediately stepped forward and said, "I knocked them out. Did you bully this young lady?"

Upon hearing that this young man, Shao Huayang, had knocked out the two men, the fat man was even more shocked and exclaimed, "Oh dear, young man, you've gotten yourself into big trouble! How could you knock out Boss Xiang's men?"

"Boss Xiang?"

Shao Huayang was startled, then remembered that the two guys had mentioned Brother Yan, Brother Qiang, and Xin Yi An earlier, and now this fat man was talking about Boss Xiang. Could it be that this beautiful woman had offended someone...?

Immediately, Shao Huayang turned around and asked the beautiful woman, "What exactly happened? How did you get chased by them?"

The beautiful woman looked aggrieved, tears streaming down her face, and pointed at the fat man, choking back sobs, "He's a talent scout. He discovered me and wanted me to work as a star in his company. This morning he told me to come here tonight to meet some big shots, saying that those big shots wanted to invest in our company's film production, and that I should just meet them for a meal. I thought it was just a meal and didn't think much of it. Who knew that when I got there, before we even exchanged a few words, that guy called Brother Yan actually started touching me inappropriately and even forced me to drink a kissing drink with him. I couldn't stand it, so I slapped Brother Yan and ran away. Then these two guys came after me (pointing to the two people on the ground), and I ran here..."

As she spoke, the girl couldn't help but burst into tears.

Although Zhao Yazhi was terrified, she remained relatively calm and quickly whispered words of comfort to the beautiful woman. Just then, several footsteps sounded outside, and several people entered. Leading them was a square-faced man in his thirties. While not particularly handsome, he exuded an imposing presence, and his eyes gleamed with murderous intent—clearly someone not to be trifled with.

Upon seeing him, Shao Huayang immediately recognized him: it was Lung Wu from Chow Yun-fat's "God of Gamblers" movie, the head of Sun Yee On, one of Hong Kong's three major triads, and the future founder of Win's Entertainment and China Star Entertainment—Xiang Huaqiang!

Chapter 21: The Xiang Brothers and Rosamund Kwan.

It should be noted that Xiang Huaqiang and his brother Xiang Huasheng were the true godfathers of the Hong Kong entertainment industry, practically controlling everything in the late 1980s and early 1990s.

If Li Ka-shing is the richest man in Hong Kong, and the Chief Executive is the most powerful, then the Xiang family possesses both. They are the hidden super-rich, the strongest rulers of the underworld.

Why were the Xiang brothers able to wield such influence in Hong Kong and achieve such a great fortune? According to Shao Huayang, the Xiang family originated from a large clan with a significant presence in the underworld. The Xiang brothers' father was a Kuomintang major general who, during the Anti-Japanese War, used the "Yi An Company" as a cover in Hong Kong. Later, he founded the triad-like "Sun Yee On." By the time Xiang Huaqiang took over Sun Yee On, it had grown significantly and had deep connections with the Hong Kong entertainment industry. This allowed the Xiang brothers to wield such power and achieve their great success. Furthermore, many of the gangster films produced by Xiang Huaqiang's future Win's Entertainment can be traced back to his henchmen, such as Sang Biao, Liang Kun, Hua Gu Long, and Ju Ge.

In his past life, Xiang Huaqiang himself enjoyed making cameo appearances in his own films, such as playing Lung Wu in "God of Gamblers" and "God of Gamblers II." He actually longed to be a policeman, but his family background prevented him from doing so, so he could only indulge his fantasy by playing police officers in movies.

At this moment, several people were with Xiang Huaqiang. One of them was around fifty years old, bearing a resemblance to Xiang Huaqiang, but with more rugged features, dark skin, and a menacing expression. He wore a black suit, leather shoes, and black trousers, clearly a typical triad boss.

Several others were also present, including several burly men wearing sunglasses, and two others, both around fifty years old. One was short and stocky, appearing to be only about 1.67 meters tall, with a sleazy appearance; the other was 1.85 meters tall, with a refined appearance, wearing glasses and a jade ring, looking quite wealthy.

Upon seeing this, Zhao Yazhi and the other woman turned pale with fright and quickly hid behind Shao Huayang.

Xiang Huaqiang walked in and, seeing his two men lying motionless on the ground, his face darkened with anger. He looked up at Shao Huayang and sneered, "Kid, did you knock my brother out?"

Shao Huayang wasn't afraid of Xiang Huaqiang at all. He knew his grandfather, Run Run Shaw, was a close friend of his father, Xiang Qian, a powerful figure in the underworld, and now the owner of Hong Kong's largest television station. Even Xiang Huaqiang wouldn't dare to be disrespectful to him, so why should he be afraid?

Shao Huayang sneered, "That's right, I did it. What do you want?"

Xiang Huaqiang and his men were enraged. Xiang Huaqiang's face contorted with murderous intent. Since he took over the Sun Yee On triad, no one had dared to speak to him like that.

Just as he was about to explode, the refined-looking man with glasses leaned close to Xiang Huaqiang and the dark-skinned man's ears and whispered a few words.

Xiang Huaqiang and the dark-faced man's expressions changed instantly. Xiang Huaqiang's anger vanished immediately, replaced by a very amiable expression as he laughed loudly, "So who dares to speak to me, Xiang Laoshi, and my elder brother like that? It turns out it's Uncle Liu's grandson! What a coincidence! Family members don't recognize each other! Hahaha..." Shao

Huayang and the other two were stunned for a moment. Then Shao Huayang knew everything was alright. In his previous life, he had actually really liked Xiang Huaqiang's portrayal of Lung Wu. Seeing Xiang Huaqiang say this, he stepped forward and smiled, "Not at all! This must be Brother Qiang from the Sun Yee On! And who is this...?"

He then looked at the dark-faced man.

The dark-faced man, now recognizing Shao Huayang, also smiled and stepped forward, saying, "Hello, Young Master Shao! I am Xiang Huayan, also known as Four-Eyed Dragon. Hello!"

Ah, so this is the "Four-Eyed Dragon" of the Sun Yee On! Shao Huayang chuckled and said, "So it's Brother Yan! I've heard so much about you! I'm Shao Huayang, and I've long admired Brother Qiang and Brother Yan! It's an honor to meet you today!"

Xiang Huaqiang laughed loudly, "Good! Young Master Shao is indeed straightforward. It's fate that we meet today. Why don't we become friends?"

In his previous life, Shao Huayang liked gangster movies and wasn't averse to the underworld. Plus, Run Run Shaw himself had a triad background, so he laughed and said, "Alright, just for the generosity of Brother Qiang and Brother Yan, I, Shao Huayang, will be your friend! Don't call me Young Master Shao anymore, just call me A-Yang!"

"Good! Straightforward! Then A-Yang, we'll be good brothers from now on!"

Xiang Huayan laughed. The others were all surprised to see what was originally a tense standoff turn into this. Zhao Yazhi and the bespectacled man knew Shao Huayang's identity, so they weren't too surprised. However, the two fat men and the beautiful woman looked at Shao Huayang with different expressions: the two fat men were delighted, while the beautiful woman was astonished.

Shao Huayang shook hands with the Xiang brothers, then looked at the three people beside him and asked in confusion, "Brother Qiang, who are these three? How does this gentleman know me?"

Before Xiang Huaqiang could introduce them, the bespectacled man said, "Young Master Shao, you don't recognize me? I'm Yang Tingguang, the hotel manager! We've met quite a few times since you last visited our hotel!"

Upon hearing this, Shao Huayang suddenly realized and nodded, saying, "Oh, so you're Manager Yang! I forgot!"

Xiang Huaqiang pointed to the two fat men and said, "Ah Yang, let me introduce you. This is (pointing to the sleazy fat man) Hu Shuru, the boss of Hong Kong Film Production Company, and this is (pointing to the fat man who just came in chasing the beautiful woman) Zhao Runqin, his talent scout and acting director."

"Hello, Young Master Shao! Hello, Young Master Shao!"

the two fat men said respectfully, bowing and scraping.

Shao Huayang nodded, not even glancing at the two men. He'd never heard of Hu Shuru's Hong Kong Film Production Company; he figured it was just a small film company, nothing compared to Shaw Brothers or Golden Harvest.

Immediately, Shao Huayang wanted to help the beautiful woman, hoping the Xiang brothers wouldn't make things difficult for her out of respect for him. So he pulled her aside and said, "Brother Qiang, this… by the way, what's your name?" The woman quickly replied, "Uh, my name is Rosamund Kwan!" What? Rosamund Kwan? Shao Huayang was startled

. Looking closer, he saw that the porcelain-doll-like beauty before him was none other than Rosamund Kwan, hailed as "Hong Kong's Number One Beauty" in his previous life. Rosamund Kwan's original name was Kwan Ka-wai, a member of the Manchu Bordered Blue Banner Guarjia clan. She attended a girls' school and graduated from Maryknoll College. In her previous life, Rosamund Kwan was known as "Hong Kong's Number One Beauty." As a child, she was called "Little Beauty" by many uncles and aunts, some jokingly calling her a "porcelain doll." In elementary school, her classmates called her the "pretty little princess" of the class. In middle school, she was also a well-known "school beauty." However, what makes everyone interested in Rosamund Kwan in her past life is her unusual marital history. In June 1982, Rosamund Kwan met her ex-husband, Wang Guojing, who was 16 years her senior. Wang Guojing was the owner of a financial trading company and had always been a womanizer. Before marrying Rosamund Kwan, he had been married once. Two months later, the two registered their marriage in Las Vegas, USA. Their marriage was strongly opposed by Rosamund Kwan's father, Kwan Shan, who almost committed suicide to stop their marriage. Finally, after mediation, Kwan's father relented. After the marriage, Rosamund Kwan left the entertainment industry to become a full-time housewife. Not long after, Wang Guojing's true nature was revealed, and he spent his days indulging in philandering. Wang Guojing even commented: "A woman like Rosamund Kwan, you can grab any woman off the street and she's better than her. This shows how heartless and ungrateful he is." Less than six months later, Rosamund Kwan divorced Wang Guojing. Married at 20, divorced at 20—that year at 20 was probably an unforgettable one for her. It was only April 1982, and Kwan had only been in the industry for less than a year, having only acted in a few ATV dramas and one film. She didn't know Wang Guojing and wasn't yet a big star. At this time, she appeared before Shao Huayang as a newly debuted actress. Chapter 22, Conversation

Upon seeing that the beautiful woman before him was none other than Rosamund Kwan, Shao Huayang was taken aback. However, given his current status, his initial surprise quickly faded, and he regained his composure. Smiling, he said to Xiang Huaqiang and Xiang Huayan, "Brother Qiang, Brother Yan, this Miss Rosamund Kwan is just being immature. I hope you won't hold it against her and will give me face by letting her go!"

The two Xiang brothers readily agreed. Xiang Huayan laughed, "It's alright, Ah Yang. I only sent my men to chase after Miss Kwan because I wanted her to apologize to me! Since you've said so, Ah Yang, we'll be magnanimous and won't hold it against you!" Shao

Huayang nodded with a smile, "Then thank you very much, Brother Yan!"

Xiang Huaqiang looked at Zhao Yazhi behind Shao Huayang and laughed, "Ah Yang, is this your friend? Why don't you introduce her to us brothers?"

"Oh, I forgot to introduce you two brothers!"

Shao Huayang said with a smile, "This is Ms. Zhao Yazhi from our company!"

Although Zhao Yazhi was a little afraid of the Xiang brothers, she was a worldly woman after all, and smiled as she said, "Hello, Brother Qiang, hello, Brother Yan!"

"So you're a famous beauty in period dramas! I've heard so much about you!"

Although Xiang Huaqiang didn't bother with being polite to such celebrities, he had to give Zhao Yazhi some face since she was with Shao Huayang.

At this moment, Xiang Huayan smiled and said, "Ah Yang, it's fate that we met today. Why don't you have dinner with us? We brothers would like to have a good chat with you!"

Upon hearing this, before Shao Huayang could speak, Zhao Yazhi hesitated. She was a famous and well-known star. If she were to associate with gangsters like the Xiang brothers, it would be a huge scandal. If the media broke the news, the consequences would be dire.

Shao Huayang had also thought of this problem. He turned to look at Zhao Yazhi, about to speak, when Xiang Huaqiang, having already noticed their worries, smiled and said, "Ah Yang, don't worry. The Shangri-La Hotel isn't a place just any paparazzi or media can enter. Besides, we're in the most upscale area; there's absolutely no media going to leak anything! You can rest assured!"

Hearing this, Shao Huayang couldn't refuse Xiang Huaqiang's kindness. Besides, he did have some things he wanted to discuss with these underworld figures, so he agreed. Shao

Huayang, Xiang Huaqiang, and Xiang Huayan walked ahead, chatting and laughing. Behind them followed Hu Shuru, Zhao Runqin, Guan Zhilin, and Zhao Yazhi. Zhao Yazhi was holding Guan Zhilin's hand, chatting and laughing softly. The two seemed quite familiar with each other; after all, that's how it is between women, especially beautiful women—they easily become acquainted.

Soon, they arrived at the private room where Xiang Huaqiang and his group were. Inside were two alluring young women, both appearing to be in their early twenties. They wore heavy makeup, revealing clothing, their ample breasts partially exposed, and sexy short skirts—women who easily attracted men's attention.

However, Shao Huayang glanced at the two women and then looked away. Having cultivated the Yin-Yang Mystic Art, Shao Huayang could clearly sense a woman's aura. The two women he sensed gave him the impression that they had slept with many men. Shao Huayang would absolutely not get involved with such women; who knew if they had AIDS or syphilis!

As soon as Hu Shuru entered, he immediately greeted Shao Huayang with a fawning smile, "Young Master Shao, let me introduce you. These two are actresses from our company, Zhang Yashu and Li Yao, both of whom are our newly promoted artists. Aya, Ayao, this is Shao Huayang, the grandson of Uncle Shao Liu from TVB. Why don't you greet him?"

Zhang Yashu and Li Yao were both minor stars in Hu Shuru's company. They often helped their boss, Hu Shuru, attend various banquets, using their beauty to seduce powerful figures and help Hu Shuru make money. They were practically promiscuous. Upon hearing that the handsome man before her was Run Run Shaw's grandson, her eyes lit up. She quickly stood up and ran to Shao Huayang's side, flattering him, "Oh! Young Master Shao, you didn't even let us know you were coming! We would have come out to greet you personally!"

"Young Master Shao, we've long admired your name! Seeing how handsome you are today, we'd be happy to die for you!"

As she spoke, the two women leaned against Shao Huayang, rubbing their full breasts against his chest, their faces adorned with charming smiles.

Shao Huayang had absolutely no interest in the two seductive women. He easily broke free from them, then pulled Zhao Yazhi with one hand and Guan Zhilin with the other, and sat down, smiling, "Come on, Sister Zhi, A-Lin, let's sit together!"

Guan Zhilin, hearing Shao Huayang call her A-Lin, was momentarily flustered and sat down without thinking. Zhao Yazhi, initially displeased that Shao Huayang was being entangled by the two vixen-like women, was delighted to see that he wasn't swayed by their beauty and had pulled her to sit with him, so she sat down as well.

Xiang Huaqiang, realizing Shao Huayang wasn't interested in Zhang Yashu and Li Yao, waved to Hu Shuru, who understood and told them to go back.

Zhang Yashu and Li Yao reluctantly glared at Guan Zhilin and turned to leave.

Xiang Huaqiang and his three companions sat down, and the waiter poured red wine into the glasses of Shao Huayang and his two friends.

Xiang Huaqiang raised his glass and said, "Ah Yang, I've heard Uncle Liu mention his exceptionally intelligent grandson before. Seeing him today confirms the saying, 'Seeing is believing!' Ah Yang, you are truly an outstanding person!"

Shao Huayang smiled and asked, "Has my grandfather ever mentioned me to you?"

"Yes, Uncle Liu used to be a big shot in the underworld. Even my old man greatly admired him. Although he hasn't been involved in the underworld for the past few years, we younger generations still treat him with respect. We often accompany him for morning tea and a game of mahjong. You know, you can get all sorts of information at the mahjong table. Last time, Uncle Liu mentioned you unintentionally, saying you were a treasure bestowed upon him by heaven. We really wanted to meet you then!"

Xiang Huayan chuckled.

Shao Huayang smiled and said, "I wouldn't dare. As his grandson, I often make him angry. I'm definitely not some kind of genius!"

"Haha, Ah Yang, you're being too modest. Come on, Ah Yang, let's have a drink!"

Xiang Huaqiang raised his glass and laughed loudly.

Shao Huayang and the others quickly raised their glasses as well, and they clinked glasses and drank.

After putting down their glasses, Xiang Huaqiang chuckled and said, "Ah Yang, you're truly generous. Now that we're friends, I have some things I'd like to discuss with you. I wonder if you'd be willing to listen?"

Upon hearing this, Shao Huayang smiled and said, "Brother Qiang, Brother Yan, please speak freely!"

"It's like this, Ah Yang, our Xiang family wants to open a film company in the future, but we're not very familiar with the entertainment industry, so we hope you can help us!"

Upon hearing this, Hu Shuru and the others were taken aback. They all thought, "Why would Boss Xiang and his gang leave their good gang to open a film company? What kind of talk is this? Do they really think they can do anything just because they have money?" However, they naturally dared not say this aloud.

Shao Huayang had anticipated that the Xiang brothers would open a film company, but Win's Entertainment was supposed to open five years later. He hadn't expected Xiang Huaqiang to bring it up five years ago.

Shao Huayang chuckled and said, "Brother Qiang, Brother Yan, you want to open a film company? Why? Aren't you already so successful? Why get involved in the film industry? You know, while Hong Kong films can still be profitable, they might not be as lucrative as your current business!"

Xiang Huaqiang sighed and said, "Ah Yang, that's a good question. I can only say one thing: we want to live an honest life!"

Shao Huayang nodded in understanding. He understood Xiang Huaqiang's meaning. Their Sun Yee On triad was growing stronger, and they had a lot of shady money they needed to launder. The Xiang family had started with Sun Yee On, and had been involved in numerous illicit activities. Now, their businesses spanned real estate, finance, catering, and entertainment. However, in the Xiang family's view, no matter how hard they tried, they could never transform themselves like the Ma family of Hong Kong, going from the underworld to the legitimate world, from thugs to gentlemen.

With the film industry booming, Xiang Huaqiang had come up with the idea of using filmmaking to launder money. He had done this before and considered it second nature, and now he wanted to start his own film company.

However, establishing a film company to dominate the Hong Kong film industry was no small feat. Not only were the three giants—Shaw Brothers, Golden Harvest, and Cinema City—standing in a three-way balance, leaving no room for large-scale companies, but even controlling the cinema chains was beyond their grasp.

What were cinema chains? A cinema chain encompasses the distribution and sales of films, and can be considered crucial to a film's profitability! To put it bluntly, a cinema chain is the lifeblood of a film company! Without an independent cinema chain, no matter how big the production, you're just working for someone else!

As a powerful triad boss in Hong Kong, the Xiang family wouldn't stray too far. Since they wanted to enter the film industry, they went all out, controlling the largest cinema chain! A cinema chain is the lifeblood of a film company; no matter how good your film is, without a theatrical release, it's all for naught. Currently, Hong Kong's entertainment film industry is a three-way battle: Shaw Brothers (owned by Shao Huayang), Golden Harvest (owned by Raymond Chow), and Cinema City (backed by Raymond Lui). These three companies essentially monopolize Hong Kong's entertainment scene. If Xiang Huaqiang wanted to open a film company, he needed to obtain the cinema chain of one of these three companies. The problem is, the owners of these three companies are not pushovers; none of them are people Xiang Huaqiang can afford to offend. So, a forceful approach wouldn't work. As for money, the owners of these three companies are not poor; why would they care about Xiang Huaqiang's money? Furthermore, the bosses of the three companies were all shrewd old foxes; they could see through Xiang Huaqiang's intentions at a glance. Therefore, approaching the old man was probably not an option. Now, Xiang Huaqiang met Shao Huayang and decided to try and persuade him. If he could convince Shao Huayang, and then use Shao Huayang to persuade Run Run Shaw to allow him to lease Shaw Brothers' cinemas, wouldn't that solve the problem?

Chapter 23: Leasing Cinemas

. Shao Huayang knew that the Xiang family wanted to use movies to launder their money, but he didn't expect Xiang Huaqiang to so easily reveal his purpose for starting a film company. This was quite unexpected for Shao Huayang.

However, Shao Huayang quickly understood why. After all, Run Run Shaw was still in charge of Shaw Brothers, and Xiang Huaqiang and the others' intentions couldn't be hidden from him. Therefore, it was better to lay everything out and then discuss the possibility of cooperation.

At that moment, Shao Huayang understood this point and said, "I understand what Brother Qiang means. How about this, let me think about it..."

As he spoke, Shao Huayang lowered his head in deep thought. Xiang Huaqiang and the others naturally didn't interfere, simply watching him quietly. For a moment, the entire private room became a silent place.

Shao Huayang pondered whether to agree to rent the Shaw Brothers cinemas to the Xiang family, and if he did agree, how could he persuade his grandfather?

After thinking for a while, Shao Huayang ultimately decided that renting the cinemas to Xiang Huaqiang and his group was the best course of action! Although this would create a competitor for him, Shao Huayang believed that renting the cinemas would at least benefit him.

It was 1982 now, and in two years, it would be 1984. If history followed its course, mainland China and Britain would have signed the Sino-British Joint Declaration. At that time, the most dangerous group in Hong Kong would be Xiang Huaqiang's triad organization, because mainland policies were very strict, and such a thieving and ruthless triad group would definitely be severely cracked down on. At that time, to save their lives, Xiang Huaqiang and his group would definitely resort to any means to launder their money, and the goal of this laundering would be to establish a film company. This was indeed the case in their previous life; they founded Win's Entertainment, using films to launder money while maintaining a low profile. Therefore, it was certain that the Xiang family would establish a film company; it was a survival measure, something Shao Huayang knew. Shao Huayang eventually also learned that Xiang Huaqiang and his group had established Win's Entertainment. In the early 1990s, Win's Entertainment was already a force to be reckoned with,

rivaling Golden Harvest. With Cinema City and D&B Films ceasing production, it briefly became the dominant force in the Hong Kong film industry. However, although Win's Entertainment was almost unchallenged from 1990 to 1993, it never achieved the same level of success as D&B Films leasing Shaw Brothers cinemas, or Raymond Wong establishing Win's Cinemas and Oriental Cinemas. It couldn't even compare to Golden Harvest or Golden Princess because Win's Entertainment didn't have its own cinema chain. In fact, Win's Entertainment had relied on other cinema chains for screenings for many years, which seemed like a strange occurrence for a once-dominant film empire.

Since Win's Entertainment didn't own its own cinema chain, choosing which cinema chain to release its films on became paramount, as revenue sharing, promotional efforts, and competitors all differed depending on the choice. In those years, under the careful scheduling of Charles Heung, Win's Entertainment achieved significant success with films like "Golden Harvest" and "New Century Cinema," with "Fight Back to School," "Flirting Scholar," and "God of Gamblers II" all becoming Hong Kong box office champions of their respective years. Charles Heung, known as "Golden Princess," also released "God of Gamblers" in his cinema chain, resulting in the same top ranking, which greatly enhanced Win's Entertainment's reputation in the industry.

However, for Charles Heung, Win's Entertainment's decision not to establish its own cinema chain was a gradual approach. Heung later stated, "Back then, Win's Entertainment didn't build its own cinemas because 'without one, there is no two.' I had to have 'one' first, but 'one' was too small. Only by making money each time could we film bigger movies, and then bigger movies before we could buy a cinema chain."

Although Win's Entertainment encountered the decline of the Hong Kong film market before realizing this dream, Charles Heung's ambition never faded.

At this time, Shao Huayang considered the benefits. Since Win's Entertainment was bound to be established anyway, as the saying goes, having one more friend is always better than having one more enemy. If he was willing to lease Shaw Brothers' cinema chain to Charles Heung and then devise a plan to firmly bind him to his Shaw Brothers company, forcing him to cooperate only with his cinema chain, he could establish an ally in the film industry. At least Win's Entertainment wouldn't be his enemy in the future, and he could join forces with the Heung family to further expand his network of connections.

Most importantly, if he could help Xiang Huaqiang's triads legitimize their operations, it would be a gesture to the mainland government, demonstrating his strong support for Hong Kong's return to China. This might allow him to expand his business on the mainland in the future. After all, Shao Huayang knew that although the mainland was poor now, it would transform itself into the strongest film industry in Asia within thirty years. Therefore, Shao Huayang needed to find a way to secure a piece of the fattest piece of the mainland market in the future.

Furthermore, Xiang Huaqiang and his group didn't establish Win's Entertainment to dominate the film industry like Raymond Chow and Lui Kwok-kwan, but simply for money laundering. They primarily relied on underworld business, merely using films to legalize their money. For this reason, Shao Huayang felt that leasing theater chains wasn't out of the question. However, even so, Shao Huayang wanted to know what benefits Xiang Huaqiang could offer him.

After a moment's thought, Shao Huayang looked up and said, "Brother Qiang, Brother Yan, I don't think there's anything wrong with what you said about renting out the cinema chain. However, what are your conditions for me..."

Xiang Huaqiang and Xiang Huayan were overjoyed. Xiang Huaqiang said, "It's good that you agreed, A-Yang! As for the conditions, we can discuss them! I happen to have a business plan with me here; I was originally going to take it to Old Master Lei! Take a look!"

As he spoke, Xiang Huaqiang gave a wink to a subordinate carrying a briefcase. The subordinate quickly took out a document from the briefcase and handed it to Xiang Huaqiang.

Xiang Huaqiang handed the document to Shao Huayang, who took it and carefully read it.

It must be said that Xiang Huaqiang and his team were quite sincere. The business plan contained detailed data on the company's establishment, including the amount of capital invested, the number of professional staff hired, and the number of films to be produced each year, with the investment amount for each film clearly stated. The next part outlined how their new company would collaborate with Shaw Brothers. Shao Huayang glanced at it and found many of the cooperation terms quite good. Essentially, the company's films would be released in the designated theaters, with box office revenue shared according to the contract. It also stipulated that Shaw Brothers artists would be given priority in starring in the films, with their salaries no lower than any other film company.

"Well then, Brother Qiang, I have no objections. However, my father still holds the reins at Shaw Brothers. I'll take this business plan and the detailed terms of cooperation back to him for a thorough review. But I believe I can persuade him, and then we can discuss the detailed contract."

Although Shao Huayang didn't give a definite answer about cooperating with them, this was already the first step. The Xiang brothers were overjoyed. Xiang Huaqiang laughed and said, "Since you've said so, Ah Yang, then we're relieved! To express our gratitude, I'd like to invite you to the 'Heaven on Earth' nightclub tonight. How about we have some fun?"

Xiang Huaqiang said this to use the tactic of "even heroes can't resist the charms of a beautiful woman," hoping to seduce Shao Huayang with her beauty before finalizing the cooperation. This "honey trap" was a foolproof tactic, and in the Xiang brothers' view, Shao Huayang was too young and impetuous, absolutely unable to resist the allure of a beautiful woman. "

Damn! Heaven on Earth nightclub? Isn't that a very famous nightclub in Beijing? How come there's one here? Maybe... let's go check it out?" Shao Huayang's mouth went dry.

However, Shao Huayang immediately rejected the idea. He noticed that Zhao Yazhi, who hadn't had a chance to speak, changed her expression upon hearing Xiang Huaqiang's words. Not wanting to leave a bad impression, Shao Huayang said, "No need, Brother Qiang, I won't go. I'm going to take Sister Zhi home later. Let's talk about it next time!"

"Oh, okay then! We'll play again next time!"

Xiang Huayan laughed.

Shao Huayang nodded, then looked at Guan Zhilin, and said to Hu Shuru, who hadn't spoken yet, "Mr. Hu, I have something I want to tell you. I hope you can give me face and not let A-Lin attend these kinds of dinners again, okay?"

Xiang Huaqiang and the others were surprised, and Guan Zhilin looked at Shao Huayang with a puzzled expression, not understanding why he would do this.

The Xiang brothers, however, both thought that Shao Huayang had taken a liking to Rosamund Kwan. So, before Hu Shuru could speak, Xiang Huayan said, "Don't worry, Ah Yang, I'll handle this. From now on, Miss Kwan will only need to film; there won't be any more dinner parties! Right, Mr. Hu?"

Hu Shuru, not daring to disagree, quickly replied with a forced smile, "Yes, yes! Of course, of course!"

Chapter 24: Sending the Beauties Home

Afterwards, Shao Huayang and the Xiang brothers finished their meal, chatting and laughing. Shao Huayang then offered to take Zhao Yazhi and Rosamund Kwan home. Zhao Yazhi naturally had no objections, as Shao Huayang was obligated to take her home. Rosamund Kwan wanted to say something, but seeing Hu Shuru's wink, she remained silent.

At this moment, the three of them sat in Shao Huayang's luxury car. Rosamund Kwan, coming from a family of actors, had ridden in such cars before and wasn't particularly surprised.

"Phew!"

In the car, both Zhao Yazhi and Rosamund Kwan breathed a sigh of relief. Zhao Yazhi patted her chest and said, "That really scared me! I never expected to run into a gangster like Xiang Huaqiang while having dinner today."

Shao Huayang, driving, chuckled and asked, "Are you both very afraid of Xiang Huaqiang?"

"Of course!"

Rosamund Kwan replied, "They're ruthless gangsters, how could we not be afraid of them?"

Shao Huayang smiled but didn't say anything.

"But speaking of which, Ah Yang..."

Zhao Yazhi said, "Are you really going to rent the Shaw Brothers cinemas to them?"

Shao Huayang smiled and said, "Why not rent them to them?"

"But... but they're gangsters, making movies is..."

Zhao Yazhi hesitated.

"Sister Zhi, I understand what you mean. Are you saying that it's a bit strange for them to not manage their gangs properly but instead come here to make movies?"

Shao Huayang said.

"Hmm!"

Zhao Yazhi nodded softly.

"Sister Zhi, A-Lin, I want to tell you that my grandfather, Run Run Shaw, was actually a very famous figure in the underworld, but he's no longer involved in it!" Shao

Huayang said with a smile.

"What?"

Zhao Yazhi and Rosamund Kwan were stunned. Zhao Yazhi said incredulously, "Sixth Uncle...Sixth Uncle was also a figure in the underworld? But...but he...wasn't he a legitimate businessman?"

"What's so strange about that? Real big shots have to have connections in both the legal and illegal worlds! Like Boss Fok Ying-tung, and Stanley Ho, the gambling king of Macau, they were both tycoons in the legitimate world and overlords in the underworld! There's nothing strange about that! The main reason the Xiang brothers want to make movies and start companies is to launder their money!"

Shao Huayang said.

"Launder their money?"

Rosamund Kwan and Zhao Yazhi were both taken aback, so Shao Huayang had to explain to them in detail how the Xiang brothers used movies to launder their money.

"So that's how it is!"

Zhao Yazhi and Rosamund Kwan nodded. Zhao Yazhi sighed, "These triad bosses really know how to scheme!"

"Hehe, yes! These people... are very shrewd. Spending time with them can broaden your horizons quite a bit!"

Shao Huayang laughed.

Soon, Shao Huayang escorted Zhao Yazhi to the entrance of her luxurious apartment. Zhao Yazhi smiled and said goodbye to Shao Huayang before going upstairs. Shao Huayang stared intently at Zhao Yazhi's beautiful figure until she disappeared down the stairs.

Rosamund Kwan noticed this and asked in a somewhat strange tone, "Mr. Shao, do you... do you like Sister Zhi?"

"Sister Zhi is so beautiful, everyone would like her! By the way, Rosamund, don't call me Mr. Shao, just call me A-Yang. I'll take you home now!" With that

, Shao Huayang started the car and drove away.

The atmosphere in the car was relatively warm. Rosamund Kwan sat in the back, looking at Shao Huayang with some complicated feelings, but Shao Huayang didn't notice her gaze.

After driving for a while, Rosamund Kwan hesitated for a moment and asked, "Ah Yang... why... why did you just tell President Hu that... why you wouldn't let me attend those dinner parties anymore?"

"Do you really want to attend those kinds of dinner parties?"

Shao Huayang countered.

"Oh, no, no!"

Rosamund Kwan waved her hand, "I was just curious, why would someone as important as you help a nobody like me..."

"If I said I liked you, would you believe me?"

Shao Huayang chuckled and said casually.

"Ah?"

Rosamund Kwan was stunned, her mouth agape, and a blush crept onto her face.

Shao Huayang saw Guan Zhilin's appearance in the rearview mirror, chuckled, and said, "Just kidding! I think a girl like you should live happily in the entertainment industry, not be corrupted by these so-called unspoken rules of dinner parties. I just wanted to show you a brighter future out of sympathy!"

"Oh, I see! Then... then thank you so much!"

Guan Zhilin said gratefully, feeling a surge of gratitude mixed with a sense of loss.

The car drove along the main road, and it had started raining heavily outside. Large raindrops pelted the car, quickly soaking it completely.

"Damn, this weather is really something! It's raining so hard!"

Shao Huayang exclaimed involuntarily, looking at the wet street outside, wondering if talking about the heavens would get him struck by lightning.

A loud "Boom!" flashed across the sky, startling Shao Huayang. He thought, "No way? Am I going to be struck by lightning?"

Just then, Rosamund Kwan suddenly screamed "Ah!" Shao Huayang was startled and nearly crashed into the car in front of him. Luckily, his driving skills were decent, and he narrowly avoided it.

"Ah-Lin, what's wrong? Why are you screaming?"

Shao Huayang was still shaken. Looking in the rearview mirror, he saw Rosamund Kwan covering her ears and trembling.

"I...I'm afraid of thunder..."

Rosamund Kwan said weakly.

Good heavens! Women are women, so easily frightened—like a little steamed bun! Just one clap of thunder and she's this scared.

Shao Huayang immediately said, "Don't be afraid, don't be afraid, we're almost home! Hang in there a little longer!"

Rosamund Kwan curled up in a ball and nodded weakly.

Finally, the car arrived at Rosamund Kwan's house. The rain was pouring down relentlessly. Shao Huayang first took an umbrella from the glove compartment, opened it, and got out of the car. He went to the back door, opened it, and called out, "Ah Lin, get out!"

Guan Zhilin opened the door and was about to get out when suddenly another thunderclap struck, the sound as terrifying as if the sky were being torn apart, truly deafening.

"Ah! Help!"

Guan Zhilin was terrified, and without thinking, she grabbed Shao Huayang, pressing her body tightly against his, trembling.

Holy crap! What's going on?! Shao Huayang nearly had a nosebleed. Guan Zhilin's curvaceous figure was pressed tightly against his body, and her alluring virgin fragrance filled his nostrils, making him unbearably itchy. To make matters worse, because Guan Zhilin was holding him, he lost his grip on the umbrella, and it fell to the ground, soaking both of them in the heavy rain. Their already light clothing, worn in April, became even thinner after being drenched, especially since Guan Zhilin was wearing a sexy low-cut dress. Her two large, round breasts were pressed tightly against Shao Huayang's chest, and their size and soft, elastic flesh caused the desire that Shao Huayang hadn't been able to vent on Zhao Yazhi to surge instantly. His manhood, unbecomingly erect, stood erect, pressing against the top of Guan Zhilin's dress, right up to her alluring private parts, creating an incredibly suggestive scene.
