Chapter 86 The Dinosaur Escape

While Xu Zhengqi was healing Ying Shi and Ying Ying, the turkeys started cursing, disturbing Lin Lan's peace.

Suddenly, the earth shook violently, and the stone cell seemed about to collapse. Terrified cries of giant apes echoed outside the cave, reaching Lin Lan's ears and filling her with dread.

The earthquake also jolted me awake. But this was a crucial moment for healing; the flow of true energy had to be continuous. Even the slightest interruption would surely kill Shi Shi and Ying Ying.

I scooped up their massive bodies, tucking them under my arms, my palms pressed tightly against their backs, and shouted, "Sister Lan, there's an earthquake! Quick, follow me and escape this cave!"

Seeing I was awake, Lin Lan felt relieved and followed me out of the cave. The turkey inside cried out in desperation, "Hey, you brat, let me out! I don't want to be buried alive here!"

I turned and saw the turkey's pitiful face, my heart softening. I kicked a stone, which snapped the vine knot. This kick seemed insignificant, but fate is unpredictable. This seemingly insignificant act of kindness would bring endless trouble upon me.

But I couldn't think that far ahead. The wrath of the earth is not to be trifled with. To avoid becoming the first top martial artist to be buried alive, I ordered Lin Lan to climb onto my back, and like a rabbit, I fled the stone prison.

The poor turkey, its powers suppressed, could only stumble along behind me on its two legs.

As soon as I escaped the prison, I soared into the sky. The mountains were full of trees and boulders; if any foolish thing were to fall on my head, it would be killing four birds with one stone!

I used my light-footed skill to leap to the treetops. I saw rocks tumbling down from the back mountain, smashing the giant apes into a frenzy. Some couldn't dodge in time, others were simply unlucky and were smashed to pieces, some even reduced to a bloody pulp. Amidst the chaos, I seemed to see a turkey, its brightly colored feathers fluttering, escaping to safety. Upon seeing me on the treetop, her pretty face paled in fright, and she quickly fled in the opposite direction.

Although I saw the turkey flee, the situation was extremely urgent, and I had no time to worry about her. In the shortest of moments, I carried the three women to the front mountain's cave.

Lin Lan was already speechless with fear at the power of nature, clinging tightly to my neck, her legs wrapped around my waist, too afraid to move.

The front mountain had even more giant apes, and the chaos there was far more astonishing; the giant apes had clearly never encountered anything like this before. Some were so frightened they clung to me, kowtowing repeatedly to the sky; others ran around wildly, babbling incoherently; still others shouted and kowtowed repeatedly towards the cave, seemingly begging Wu Zetian to come out and help.

Wu Zetian, however, was already bedridden from my cannon fire and had no strength left to help these giant apes.

Even more ridiculous, when the apes saw me descending from the sky with the three women, they mistook me for the culprit and rained spears and javelins upon me. I had no time to pay them any attention; I used my lightness skill again and flew into the cave. I still had to rescue Wu Zetian and her daughters; I had no time to teach the apes a lesson. I

encountered Wu Zetian and her two daughters as soon as I reached the main hall. Wu Zetian was now fully prepared, but her injuries showed no signs of healing; her face was still swollen like a pig's head, and she needed her sisters' support to walk. Sister Wu and Sister Wu, each carrying a tiger-skin bag, rushed over, supporting Wu Zetian.

As soon as the three women saw me, Sister Wu and Sister Wu exclaimed joyfully, "Husband, you've come to save us! Oh, why did you bring two demons out with you?" Wu Zetian, however, glared at me fiercely, clearly taking my good intentions for granted.

"Enough nonsense, I'll explain later. Quick, I'll get you out of the cave; it's about to collapse," I said hastily.

But easier said than done.

From this hall to the cave entrance was at least several miles, and what was worse, the passage was winding and twisting; although the path was wide, it was difficult to traverse. Even with my superb lightness skill, it took me half an hour to get here. If Wu Zetian and her daughter were moving at such a slow pace, it would take who knows how long it would take to escape.

What to do? How could I carry six people by myself? My fate was miserable; I had no choice but to try anything. I said, "Sister Wu, you do what Lin Lan does, wrap your arms around my neck and climb onto my back. Wu Zetian and Sister Wu, come into my arms, and you two wrap your arms around Lin Lan and Sister Wu's necks respectively. Hurry, there's no time!"

The three of them immediately did as I said, hanging onto me one by one. With four women and two half-orcs on my back, I weighed a full thousand pounds. An ordinary person would have been crushed by the weight, but I still had to continuously channel my energy into Ying Shi and the other two women to prolong their lives. I was truly a superhuman among superhumans.

Despite the added weight, my lightness skill wasn't greatly affected, and I flew out of the cave in half a quarter of an hour. Just as I flew out, a deafening "boom" came from behind me. I dared not look back, leaping straight towards the distant treetops.

But fate seemed to be against me, and these damned monkeys were also rebelling against me. Just as I emerged from the cave, a whistle blew, and a rain of javelins and spears rained down on us. I was shocked. I channeled all my energy to its peak, and my golden protective divine skill barely managed to shield the women from the rain of spears just before they reached me.

The spears struck the golden light relentlessly, only to shatter into dust and scatter on the ground. I didn't stop moving; in the blink of an eye, I had leaped out of the stone mountain.

The usually taciturn Wu Mei suddenly cried out, "Husband, husband, the stone mountain has collapsed! Wow—the giant apes are dead so badly, so many are buried under the mountain!"

"Good riddance, for ambushing me." I cursed those stupid monkeys who had kicked me while I was down; I wished they were all extinct to appease my hatred.

The earth was trembling, and every now and then, one or two ancient trees would fall. I had just flown to the top of a large tree, barely managing to land properly, when a violent tremor struck, almost knocking me off.

Looking into the distance, in the direction from which the tremors were coming, vast swathes of ancient trees were shaking violently. Where in this forest was there any safety?

Lin Lan asked anxiously, "Husband, what do we do?" I looked around, unable to think of a safe place.

Wu Zetian suddenly spoke up, saying in a strange tone, "Go to that mountain over there."

I looked back and saw a small mountain in the forest, not far from the rocky mountain, but unlike the rocky mountain, it was hollow and solid. From a distance, it looked like a trapezoidal pillar. Although there were boulders rolling down that mountain, the summit was empty, just a small flat area. Plus, the peak was a few feet higher than the ancient treetops, making it the safest place in this earthquake.

Without even thanking Wu Zetian, I led the women and flew to the summit. Once at the bottom, my heart finally settled. The women climbed off me, clinging to me, watching the earthquake that had appeared out of nowhere.

Now that I was at peace, I carefully examined the consequences of this disaster. Aside from the rocky hill, no other parts collapsed, suggesting that the hollow rocky hill couldn't withstand the tremors and collapsed. Only a few old trees fell, but those were hollow trunks, ancient trees nearing the end of their lives. There were no obvious cracks on the ground, so it didn't seem like an earthquake.

Moreover, the tremors seemed to have a certain regularity, with distinct rhythms, though each tremor was clearly stronger than the last. Suddenly, Lin Lan screamed, pointing into the distance, "Husband, look!"

I looked in the direction she pointed, and my whole body trembled, my face filled with disbelief.

I saw a horde of monsters rushing towards us in the distance, a vast, dark mass, numbering in the thousands. These monsters were more than ten feet taller than the ancient trees that were already several feet tall. Its body was like a series of small mountains, its four legs were short and thick, requiring ten people to encircle them, and its fleshy tail extended to be seven or eight zhang long. The strangest thing was its neck, which resembled a tree trunk, straight and ten zhang long, with a head on top of it that was only slightly thicker than the neck, with a small mouth and no sharp fangs.

"What kind of monster is this?" I muttered to myself.

"Ah—, a prehistoric dinosaur!" A scream rang out. I turned around and saw Turkey, who had appeared dozens of meters away to my right, flapping her long wings and staring at the group of monsters with a surprised expression.

"What dinosaur? Do you know what kind of monster this is?" I asked urgently.

Turkey flapped her wings and flew to a spot not far from us, then stumbled and fell from mid-air, seemingly too weak to stand, almost twisting her feet.

Turkey's powers were suppressed, and she had barely escaped from the back mountain. She had seen this small peak and flown towards it. But she was weak all over, and by the time she arrived, we had already been resting here for quite some time.

"Not bad." Turkey was now in a sorry state. Her once colorful feathers were now disheveled, and her once white face was now covered in black marks. I really didn't know where she had put on her makeup.

"There's a book in the Heavenly Palace's treasury that depicts species that existed before humans appeared on Earth. I heard the Queen Mother of the West say that after Pangu separated heaven and earth, before Nuwa created humans from clay, this world was dominated by a huge species called dinosaurs. Later, the sky collapsed, wiping out the dinosaurs. Nuwa then mended the sky and created humans again."

"So, these dinosaurs are prehistoric creatures?" I asked doubtfully. "But how did they end up in this Misty Forest, and so many of them all at once? I thought it was an earthquake."

Turkey frowned and said, "I don't know either. Maybe they were blown here by that strange wind, like me." Just

as I was about to speak again, Turkey's expression suddenly changed, and he exclaimed, "My God, Tyrannosaurus Rex!"

I looked again and saw that nearly a thousand more monsters had appeared behind the group of dinosaurs. These monsters were completely different from the previous group of dinosaurs, with bloated and obese bodies. One was about twenty feet tall, and its head alone accounted for a third of its total weight. Below its two enormous eyes was a terrifyingly large mouth, with four particularly large fangs on its upper and lower rows of sharp teeth. Even from a distance, those gleaming fangs alone were enough to scare anyone into wetting their pants.

Its forelegs were extremely small and short, tucked into its chest, while its two hind legs were incredibly thick and long. Balanced by a thick, serrated tail with long fins, it moved at an astonishing speed. I estimated it to be a full 380 kilometers per hour, not much slower than my agility.

"The ones in front are a group of herbivorous dinosaurs, and the ones behind are carnivorous Tyrannosaurus Rex," Turkey explained, and I understood the situation. The herbivores must be afraid of the Tyrannosaurus Rex, which is why they fled in droves. Thousands upon thousands of dinosaurs, each weighing hundreds of tons, running at the same time—how much more powerful than an earthquake?

No wonder the rocky mountain collapsed; it was these two groups of dinosaurs that caused the disaster.

"Oh no! Run!" I shouted, my face paling. The situation took a sharp turn for the worse. Those damned herbivorous dragons were charging towards us, their destructive force enough to turn us into mincemeat if we didn't escape quickly. The women, as before, clung to me. I leaped, using my "Land Flight Technique" to fly forward at lightning speed.

My original light-body technique was called "Starry Chess Steps," but my current ability to soar through the air completely transcends that term. For me, "Land Flight Technique" is the most fitting name. With my current skill, I could easily be called a "Land Immortal."

But even though I boasted of being an "immortal," the herbivorous dragons relentlessly pursued me, no matter which direction I turned.

The sun was gradually setting, and I had been flying for an hour, relying on my unparalleled inner strength. This escape was not only exhausting but also incredibly tedious, keeping my nerves constantly on edge. I suddenly blurted out, "Where did the turkey go?"

The women, bewildered by my question, were momentarily speechless. Wu Zetian suddenly said, "She's on the back of a herbivorous dinosaur."

I quickly glanced around; with my current eyesight, I could see it clearly. The turkey was leisurely crossing its legs, watching us frantically running for our lives.

I was furious and yelled, "Don't those dinosaurs like chicken?"

The women chuckled at my comment, their tense nerves relaxing instantly. Wu Zetian pondered for a moment and said, "Perhaps those herbivorous dinosaurs don't eat meat?"

Hearing this, I was overjoyed and, laughing heartily, turned and ran towards the herbivorous dinosaurs!

The women cried out anxiously, "Husband, have you gone mad?"

"How could I harm you? Just watch," I reassured them.

Soon, we landed on the back of a herbivorous dinosaur, running alongside the turkey's. Except for Wu Zetian, all the women screamed in terror, their eyes tightly shut, unable to believe they were standing on the back of a herbivorous dragon.

The herbivorous dragon was enormous, and despite its frantic running, its back remained remarkably stable. Standing on it, there was only a slight swaying.

"Alright, alright, open your eyes. It's safe now," I gently reassured them.

The women opened their eyes, utterly astonished, reaching out to touch and explore, chattering excitedly about their experiences, their previous terror completely gone.

Turkey shouted from the other end, "Hey, hero over there, how was the escape?"

I was furious and wanted to teach her a lesson, but with two lives on my palm, I couldn't just act rashly. Wu Zetian, unable to muster any internal energy, was amused by Turkey's mockery.

Sister Wu, however, was displeased; she had the potential to be a shrew. She immediately opened her mouth wide and unleashed a torrent of curses at the turkey, like a machine gun. It was truly unbelievable; where had she learned such swear words after living in this deep forest for over a decade?

Wu Mei smiled at me and whispered in my ear, "Self-taught."

I broke out in a cold sweat. Wu Mei's talent for cursing was indeed extraordinary; she could even curse without a teacher. You, dear readers, didn't see the turkey's flushed face, as if it had been slapped with a few hundred coins, its face red and neck bulging.

But Wu Mei had met her match; the turkey's cursing skills were also remarkable, perhaps stolen from the Queen Mother of the West. Every curse revolved around the word "scoundrel," proving that even the Jade Emperor wasn't omnipotent!

The situation remained dire; the Tyrannosaurus Rex relentlessly pursued the herbivore's rear, chasing it for two whole hours. The herbivorous dinosaurs, fighting for their lives, gave it their all, refusing to let the Tyrannosaurus Rex catch them. The Tyrannosaurus Rex, seeing its prey within reach, fled for its life. Unable to catch it after a long chase, it also mustered all its strength, eating dust along the way but still not satisfied, its huge eyes glaring, drool dripping from its massive jaws as it roared and relentlessly pursued.

The chase continued until evening, with the herbivorous dinosaurs showing no sign of stopping. But this caused us great suffering. By the time I woke up, I hadn't eaten a single grain of rice, had been writhing violently, and had been constantly transferring energy to the two women, leaving me dizzy with hunger and experiencing ringing in my ears.
Looking at the trembling dinosaur meat beneath me, I really wanted to cut off a few slices, roast them, and taste them. Then I thought, this dinosaur was so fast; if I ate meat from its leg, would my agility improve even further?

Of course, I was just thinking about it. If I actually cut off its flesh, and it suddenly turned around and became incredibly strong, wouldn't I be the one suffering?

Fortunately, Ying Shi and the other two women's injuries had stabilized. Although they remained unconscious for a while, their lives were no longer in danger.

It seemed that the herbivorous dragon would have an easier time escaping for a while, and the Tyrannosaurus Rex would have an easier time chasing it.

"Husband, I brought some dry rations." Wu Mei's words sounded like heavenly music to my ears. I was overjoyed and said, "Why didn't you say so sooner?" I took the tiger-skin bag she handed me, snatched out the dried meat inside, and stuffed it into my mouth. While eating, I muttered, "You must be hungry too, come and eat some with me."

The women immediately began sharing the dried meat. Perhaps due to the stress of their escape, they were getting hungry quickly; even Lin Lan, who usually ate very little, ate a large piece of dried meat. The large bag of rations was quickly reduced to half.

After their hearty meal, I said to the turkey that was staring intently at the dried meat in my hand, "Miss Fire, a fairy turkey like you probably doesn't need to eat, right?"

The turkey seemed to regret its earlier mockery, drooling unconsciously from its mouth. Hearing my words, it stubbornly replied, "Hmph, this young lady has long since reached the stage of abstaining from grains; why would I need to eat this junk food?"

The women laughed and scolded the turkey, who, burning with hunger, wished it could pounce and snatch the bag of rations from Wu Mei's hand. Wu Mei and Lin Lan, being kind-hearted by nature, couldn't bear to see her like this anymore and said to me, "Husband, let's share some food with her. Look at her pitiful state, clearly starving but still putting on a brave face. It's so pitiful."

I replied, "Alright, my good wives are so kind; they'll definitely be virtuous wives and loving mothers in the future." I used a hidden weapon technique to deliver a large piece of dried meat to the turkey. The turkey gave me a strange look, picked up the dried meat with its wing, turned around, and began to eat. In that instant of turning, I seemed to see two glittering things on its face…

"Husband, why did you save those two demons?" Lin Lan suddenly asked the question that had been weighing on her mind, and I immediately felt much better.

I could tell from her expression that Lin Lan had misunderstood again. I quickly recounted in detail how I encountered Ying Shi and Lin Lan in the forest, how I injured Ying Ying, how I ran to the tree hole to shelter from the rain, and how I met the turkey the next morning, leading to the fight.

The girls gave me a good beating, finally saying in unison, "We shouldn't have given him the turkey jerky!"

I said, "This turkey was just a little impulsive. Anyway, everyone's safe now. Wouldn't it be better to let things slide and keep the peace?" The girls agreed, only Wu Zetian scolded me for being childish.

I thought to myself, I'm only thirteen years old, so what if I'm childish? Happiness is happiness, and tranquility is true happiness. Although I sometimes like adventure, it's just a momentary impulse.

This earth-shattering life-or-death chase wasn't over yet. I marveled at the dinosaurs' stamina; their fat, bulky bodies were truly impressive. Night fell, and the girls, exhausted, had already slumped onto the herbivorous dinosaur's back, snuggling against me and falling asleep. Even the turkey opposite us had fallen silent, lying motionless on the dinosaur's back, fast asleep…

To find out what happened after this great dinosaur battle, please stay tuned for the next installment.

Chapter 87 The Battle of Humans and Dragons (Part 1)

Xu Zhengqi, along with Wu Zetian and her women, and three half-orcs, were fast asleep on the backs of the herbivorous dragons. The herbivorous dragons, on the other hand, had been running for a day and a night without stopping.

The east was beginning to lighten, and the sun was about to rise. At this

point, few of the herbivorous dragons that had been running at full speed, fueled by Viagra, remained. I slowly awoke from my meditation. Fortunately, my dragon energy was still circulating on its own, allowing me to cultivate without excessive mental strain. Looking around, after a day and a night of frantic running, only less than a hundred of the thousands of herbivorous dragons remained. Clearly, those that couldn't keep up had become fertilizer for the Misty Forest. Fortunately, we were riding the "leaders," so we were among the last to die.

Meanwhile, the Tyrannosaurus Rex behind us, their bellies bulging, seemed unfazed by indigestion. They strutting around with enlarged, pigeon-toed gaits, howling like ghosts, relentlessly pursuing us. I couldn't help but doubt the patriarch's words. Perhaps running after a meal helps with digestion?

However, the surrounding scenery seemed different

. The towering ancient trees were gone, replaced by weeds and shrubs. The rolling hills had vanished, leaving only a flat plain before me, without a single tree in sight. "Husband, this doesn't seem to be the Misty Forest anymore," Wu Mei whispered.

Wu Zetian exclaimed, "Finally, we're leaving that awful place! Eight hundred years! Eight hundred years! I haven't seen a plain in eight hundred years!" Wu Zetian's eyes shone brightly, her hands and feet trembling with excitement, tears of joy streaming down her face.

"Ah—, wonderful! Wonderful! I'm so happy—" Wu Jie jumped and danced with joy.

Infected by their enthusiasm, I stood up, arms outstretched in a hushed embrace, and let out a long, resounding cry that echoed for miles. All the pent-up frustration of the past few days was released in that cry.

Looking at my magnificent figure, the women felt a surge of love for me, and were all proud to be my wives. Wu Zetian looked at me and thought, "It's been a long time since I've seen a man with such heroic and soaring spirit."

Having rested overnight, I was full of energy and vitality. My current state could be described as the peak of my life in thirteen years; the fighting spirit within me fueled my excitement.

"My ladies, how about I kill those wretched Tyrannosaurus Rex?" I looked confidently at the women. Lin Lan and the other two women asked anxiously, "Husband, can you take on so many dinosaurs by yourself?"

I laughed loudly, "I'm not the kind of person who likes to boast."

Wu Zetian poured cold water on my enthusiasm, saying, "Hmph, so what if you possess unparalleled martial arts skills? If these dinosaurs hadn't unintentionally led us out of the Misty Forest, we don't know how long we would have stayed in that godforsaken place. Now we're on this vast plain, stretching as far as the eye can see. It's better to have these dinosaurs carry us; it'll save us a lot of trouble. If you kill all those Tyrannosaurus Rex, wouldn't that ruin everything?"

Upon hearing this, the women all agreed with Wu Zetian's point of view, even Turkey nodded in agreement. Although I also agreed with her, I still felt a sense of being suppressed by her, as if Wu Zetian wanted to ride on my head. My excitement vanished instantly. There are many ways to look at things. Wu Zetian, after all, lived a thousand years longer than me and ascended to the throne through her own abilities in a male-dominated world; she truly deserves the title of "shrewd shrewdness."

I am new to the world, not only very young but also having grown up in a remote valley, with little contact with the secular world. In terms of interpersonal skills and worldly experience, I am merely a novice. Now, I have the best teacher by my side. Of course, I won't openly ask Wu Zetian for advice; observing her secretly is the best approach.

Thinking this way, I felt relieved and stopped arguing with her. I nodded and said, "It seems that my husband is too impulsive in his youth and his thinking is not comprehensive enough. Thank you for your guidance, Mother-in-law." I clasped my hands in a fist salute to her.

Wu Zetian was also taken aback when she saw me thanking her. This Xu Zhengqi had always been at odds with her, but she hadn't expected him to be so magnanimous. He was truly a fine piece of jade, a worthy hero among the younger generation.

"Why be so polite, Prince Consort? You and I are family. There's no need for such formalities." Wu Zetian raised her slender hand, almost saying "Rise."

It was unclear whether she was being affected or simply had a habit of using the word "I" all the time.

After another two hours of running, they could see some villages ahead. Fortunately, the herbivorous dinosaurs didn't venture into those villages; otherwise, it would have been a devastating blow to the villagers. However, the earth-shattering noises and tremors still startled the villagers out of their farmhouses.

People looked up at these enormous creatures. Some villagers had already grabbed kitchen knives and hoes, their hands trembling as they feared the dinosaurs would charge. Others shouted and prepared to flee, carrying their children. Men, women, the elderly, and children—a large group of people made a huge commotion.

But in just a moment, the dinosaurs galloped past the village, not even giving these mere prey a second glance. For them, herbivorous dinosaurs were the real prey. Dear readers, if you were starving and presented with a roasted pig and a dish of ants, which would you choose?

Putting myself in their shoes, the Tyrannosaurus Rex was clearly clever; it chose the herbivorous dinosaur.

The two women, Wu Jie and Wu Mei, were returning to the mortal world for the first time. Seeing so many outsiders, they were actually quite frightened. After all, their appearances were too different from the others.

Seeing the herbivorous dragon merely brush past them, and the villagers unharmed, I breathed a sigh of relief. Seeing the two women's frightened expressions, I comforted them, "Don't be afraid, sisters. With your husband here, no one will dare to bully you."

Wu Zetian then mocked, "I'm afraid you'll end up neglecting one thing for another, losing everything." She was referring to the two wounded women, Ying Shi and Wu Mei, in my arms.

I didn't care, saying, "Mother-in-law, with your thousand years of cultivation, how could you stand by and watch your own daughters die?" Wu Zetian's injuries had almost completely healed.

"A married daughter is like water spilled from a cup. If a man can't even protect his own wife, what face does he have to live in this world?"

"You..." I was speechless for a moment. Wu Zetian was indeed right. If I had still lost all my martial arts skills, I would have been killed by the dragon's leg yesterday.

"Mother-in-law is right. I will take good care of Sister Wu and Sister Wu for the rest of my life. You needn't worry about me."

"But if I ever find out that you're even slightly cold towards Sister Wu and Sister Wu, hmph, watch your head!" Wu Zetian said, her tone sharp but her voice weak.

In truth, Wu Zetian had lived alone for eight hundred years and was incredibly lonely. Fortunately, in recent years, she had her two daughters by her side, which somewhat alleviated her loneliness. Although she was always a pragmatist and had even killed her own son, it was because of conflicting interests that she had to act so ruthlessly. But judging from the current situation, Wu Zetian was a competent mother to Sister Wu and Sister Wu. It was clear that Sister Wu and Sister Wu were well-versed in etiquette and both literary and martial arts, making them quite remarkable women.

Just as he was about to speak to Wu Zetian, suddenly, dust billowed in the distance, and the sounds of battle cries, the clash of metal, and the thunderous thud of galloping horses filled the air. Recalling the rebellion of Prince Ning, I cried out, "Oh no! There's fighting ahead! The two sides must be engaged in a siege!"

The herbivorous dragon charged straight towards the billowing dust, its speed unbelievable, reaching the edge of the battlefield in no time.

One side was attacking, the other defending. With my current eyesight, I could see the two large characters in clerical script on the city gate ten miles away: Xinzhou.

Xinzhou—could it be the renowned and prosperous city of Xinzhou within the Wuyan Gate Pass?

But Prince Ning was rebelling in the south; could he have already reached this important western stronghold in just two months? I thought it unlikely. No matter how much Zhou Houzhao neglected state affairs, the court had countless civil and military officials, and a large and well-trained army. How could Prince Ning have conquered the south in just two months?

Upon closer inspection of both armies' banners, the one atop the city wall prominently displayed the "Zhou" banner of my Great Zhou Dynasty, while the attacking army below, numbering in the hundreds of thousands, bore the character "Mongol" on its banner!

The Mongols? Could this army of hundreds of thousands be the command of the Mongol prince?

Currently, the Great Zhou is embroiled in internal strife, with the Prince of Ning rebelling. The court will undoubtedly prioritize internal affairs before external threats. The Mongol prince has always coveted the Great Zhou; how could he let such a golden opportunity slip by? Thinking this way, it's only natural that the Mongol prince would lead his army eastward to attack Xinzhou, a crucial city on my western border.

Although I have no interest in who sits on the emperor's throne, I am, after all, a Han Chinese, and naturally, I won't allow my people to be ruled by my own kind. My preconceived notions make me dislike the Mongols.

Now, the herbivorous dragon, with its earth-shaking strides, charged onto the battlefield, the earth-shattering tremors causing both sides to halt their weapons.

Upon realizing that a massive horde of colossal creatures had arrived, both sides sounded the retreat, urgently ordering a withdrawal. A group of monsters nearly twenty zhang tall was no match for human strength. However, the fear before them only fueled the rage of the many bloodthirsty soldiers. The vast majority of those with professional ethics did not retreat.

They knew very well that there was no chance of survival against such behemoths. Imagine, a single foot of a herbivorous dragon could cover a radius of three zhang; at high speed, even a city would be swept away, let alone these seemingly defenseless soldiers.

The soldiers turned their weapons, unleashing a barrage of arrows and spears at the herbivorous dragon. But the herbivorous dragon paid no heed to these tiny "toothpicks." The Tyrannosaurus Rex behind it was the true enemy. The "toothpicks" struck with deadly accuracy, each one piercing the herbivorous dragon's chest and forelegs. The herbivorous dragon didn't even flinch, nor did it shed a drop of blood. With its head held high and chest puffed out, its massive, three-zhang-wide foot slammed down, overwhelming everything in its path.

"Ah—!" Lin Lan and Wu Mei cried out in terror, their eyes tightly shut, gripping my arm tightly.

Where the herbivorous dragon passed, the corpses were indistinguishable from flesh and blood, rivers of blood staining the earth red. However, human willpower was incredibly strong. The siege weapons—catapults and crossbows—turned around, aiming at the herbivorous dragon. "Whoosh—" A whirlwind of arrows and stones rained down on it.

The sky was quite spectacular.

The sun was high in the sky, and suddenly a large patch of dark clouds appeared. Looking up, I saw that the cloud was made of giant rocks. Each rock was more than a person's size, and they hurtled down on the herbivorous dragon from the catapults in parabolic arcs.

Ahead, however, was a different scene: a volley of arrows made of pointed logs shot straight down from the city walls, like countless wasps flying head-on.

I yelled, "Everyone, get behind me! Hold onto my clothes!" I raised my hands, standing like a god on the back of the herbivorous dragon, ready to face the barrage of arrows and stones.

Wu Zetian rushed to my left, also taking a defensive stance. I glanced at her, and she nodded, boosting my confidence. With two of the world's top experts here, what was there to fear from a thousand troops? This was the first time I'd seen such a massive formation, and with the veteran Wu Zetian by my side, I felt reassured.

The arrows struck first, and the leading herbivorous dragon became the first to be shot, riddled with bullets by the massive crossbow bolts. It let out a painful screech and collapsed to the ground. The

Zhou army on the city wall, seeing that their own troops had killed a monster, were greatly encouraged. They roared, their shouts echoing through the sky: "The Heavenly Army will prevail! The Heavenly Army will prevail!"

Amidst the Zhou army's cries, several more herbivorous dragons fell to the crossbow bolts. I had already fully activated my skills. Seeing a dozen or so arrows hurtling towards our dinosaur-like creature, I swiftly unleashed several palm strikes.

These palm strikes, formed from my dragon power, transformed into golden dragon shapes, their mouths striking the arrows and pulverizing them one by one.

"Mommy! I see a dragon!"

"Heavens! What's happening today? Monsters and dragons!"

"Mommy! The sky has fallen! Dragons have fallen to earth..."

Before the soldiers on the city wall could finish their shouts, a dozen or so gleaming golden dragons suddenly appeared before the monster, terrifying them into incoherent babbling and screaming...

I easily obliterated the dozen or so powerful crossbow bolts, my confidence soaring, and I was about to clap my hands in celebration. Wu Zetian roared, "Watch out above you!"

Upon hearing this, I didn't even bother to look at what was above me. I raised my hands to the sky, and a violent dragon force shot up into the air. With a loud bang, stone chips flew like rain...

Chapter 88 The Battle Between Man and Dragon (Part 2)

When my protective divine skill was pushed to its limit, my whole body shone with golden light, like a god descending to earth. At this moment, I, who had originally disguised myself to be 1.75 meters tall by using the "Explosive Breathing" secret skill, broke free of control, and my body finally returned to its original appearance.

The women were terrified; their familiar husband had suddenly transformed. His body, over two meters tall and gleaming with golden light, was covered in explosively powerful muscles, shimmering with iridescent light. His already tight, tattered animal hide clothing was stretched taut by his powerful muscles, the pieces fluttering away without a trace. His bronze skin, bathed in sunlight, exuded masculine virility; even Wu Zetian, who had seen countless men, was captivated by my strong physique.

I let out a long roar, unleashing a flurry of palm strikes, the Dragon Palm technique shattering the massive boulders launched by the catapults into pieces. The more I struck, the more energetic I became, an irrepressible joy at regaining my original appearance. Our bodies and hair are gifts from our parents; the original is best!

The dinosaur riding the turkey, perhaps by sheer luck, hadn't been attacked since the start of the battle, but judging from her relaxed expression, it seemed her suppressed power had recovered overnight. But seeing my display of divine power and imposing presence, he couldn't help but be amazed, muttering to himself, "Is this kid some

kind of god descended from heaven? He's changed so much in just two days. Look at the true energy in his palm; it can even transform the intangible into the tangible. This kid's skill is at least a thousand years old; he's probably about to ascend." The turkey was right. After the fusion of the three true energies, the original pathways of each individual energy had been broken. In other words, the current dragon power no longer followed its original path. But the dragon power is qualitatively different from the three true energies; it can operate automatically, automatically emitting protective divine power. Its greatest characteristic is that one year of practicing this power is equivalent to a hundred years of practicing other techniques. Don't be fooled by the fact that when I unleash the dragon power, its power seems hundreds of years greater than Wu Zetian's.

In reality, based on my age, I've only practiced internal energy for ten years. Martial artists have always pursued the Dao, believing that innate energy is the Dao itself, capable of breaking through the void and living freely.

The so-called innate energy is what humans are born with in the womb. For example, an infant under one year old can grasp one of your fingers, and you cannot pull it away. Infants are in a chaotic period, so why do they possess such great strength?

This is innate energy!

Therefore, many martial artists believe that starting to cultivate internal energy from infancy is best. But here's a contradiction: in infancy, the internal organs and meridians are not fully developed; many meridians haven't even grown. No internal energy cultivation method in the world can be practiced in an infant's body. Therefore, even Li Xiaoyao's Nine Transformations Divine Skill was only taught to me when I was three years old. Martial artists

have always regarded the innate realm as the highest level of martial arts. But this is not the case.

The world develops, and the human body also develops and grows. The innate realm is certainly alluring, and its power is boundless. But strength is the true foundation; how much strength you possess, how profound your internal energy, that is the key.

Some believe the innate realm is a natural realm, and that reaching this realm allows one to draw upon the power of heaven and earth. That's utterly delusional.

The world is a balanced universe; how can one arbitrarily lend their power to humanity? If it were, wouldn't that disrupt the balance of the universe? What would happen to an unbalanced world?

Nobody knows! It might trigger a catastrophe, a cataclysmic upheaval that destroys the world and forces its rebirth.

Therefore, the Innate Realm is merely about developing the body's own potential; ultimately, it's about acquiring even greater power!

My Dragon Power, however, is different. If we consider the three streams of energy, they represent nearly two thousand years of cultivation, but now they've all merged into Dragon Power, like a pool of water compressed into a small bucket. One can imagine the density and quality of this bucket of water. But

I digress.

The overwhelming boulders provided me with a perfect opportunity to shine. Hundreds of thousands of people in the arena were stunned by a young man who could unleash a dragon, their astonishment no less than witnessing a dinosaur. One was unheard of, the other legendary; the difference between them is obvious.

However, in such chaotic situations, individual consciousness is always submerged in collective consciousness. (Note: A British policeman interrogated a troublemaker at a stadium, asking why he threw smelly socks at the players. The troublemaker replied: Everyone was throwing them, so I did too. The policeman asked: Don't you have a brain? You threw them because everyone else did? The troublemaker answered: Everyone was excited, so I got excited too!)

When a soldier fired another crossbow bolt, hundreds of thousands of soldiers across the field picked up their weapons again—their target was directly in front of them—the golden monster!

A dozen or so herbivorous dragons had fallen in the previous attack, slowing their overall movement. But in that short time, the leading Tyrannosaurus Rex had already snatched a fallen herbivorous dragon. It began to devour it, the dragon letting out a deafening roar of pain that sent many soldiers on the city walls tumbling head over heels, crashing to the ground and bursting into bloom.

A few more white flowers were painted onto the blood-red earth.

The remaining Tyrannosaurus Rex, following closely behind, showed no mercy. In the blink of an eye, the fallen herbivores were reduced to mere skeletons.

Herbivores, usually only interested in fleeing, were now trapped with powerful enemies in front and pursuers behind, truly like turtles in a barrel, with nowhere to escape. Even cornered beasts will fight, let alone the massive herbivores. The herbivores, already furious from the Tyrannosaurus Rex chase, suddenly stopped and turned, charging fiercely at the Tyrannosaurus Rex relentlessly devouring their fallen comrades. A cacophony of roars erupted; the kind-hearted herbivores were truly unleashing their

fury. I was amazed by their courage and worried that they had no weapons to use. Suddenly, the lead herbivores sidestepped and swung their long, thick tails, sweeping across the still-unresponsive Tyrannosaurus Rex with overwhelming force.

A Tyrannosaurus Rex, head down, was unable to dodge and was struck headfirst into the carcass of a herbivore by a tail. A jaw with sharp fangs could be seen protruding, striking the eyes of another herbivore. A painful

cry rang out from the wounded Tyrannosaurus Rex, startling all the others who were enjoying their meal. The herbivore's sudden counterattack still inflicted heavy losses on the Tyrannosaurus Rex. Some Tyrannosaurus Rex heads were smashed into pieces, some were trampled into a pulp, and others were even launched like balls by a combined attack from the herbivore, disappearing for a long time, presumably dead.

The herbivore and the Tyrannosaurus Rex were now locked in combat, facing off on a plain thirty miles outside the city. In terms of numbers, the herbivore outnumbered the Tyrannosaurus Rex by about two thousand. However, in terms of individual combat strength, a Tyrannosaurus Rex could easily take on two at a time.

I exclaimed to everyone, "Oh no! The herbivores are going to attack the Tyrannosaurus Rex! We can't stay on their backs any longer! Everyone, come to me quickly, we have to go!"

The women scrambled onto me in alarm. I grabbed Ying Shi and the other woman's unconscious bodies with both hands, used my land-based flight technique, and flew to the side. Although Wu Zetian was highly skilled, her lightness skill was lacking. Shi Yi grabbed one of my arms, and with my help, we flew out of the dinosaurs' battle circle, landing on a high, bald hillside ten miles away.

Seeing the situation was dire, the turkey quickly flapped its wings and flew with us, landing on the other side of the hillside.

The attack of hundreds of thousands of dinosaurs had already crumbled without a fight the moment the herbivores turned around. But the sudden change in the situation clearly made them more nervous. Seeing the dinosaurs suddenly fighting amongst themselves, not a single one showed any joy; they all stared in stunned disbelief at the dinosaur battle.

I stopped on the hillside with the girls. They were reluctant to leave, determined to witness this once-in-a-millennium dinosaur battle. My fighting spirit was high, and I didn't want to go far either; how could I miss such a spectacle? Even my little brother was standing erect, as if eager to be seen through my trousers.

I was only wearing my underwear anyway, and it wouldn't matter if it joined in the fun, but if the girls saw it, it would be incredibly embarrassing. I felt a surge of desire and a mischievous thought arose. I went behind Wu Zetian and suddenly pressed my penis against her buttocks, gently rubbing it…

Wu Zetian turned her head and exclaimed, “You…”

Before she could speak again, I had silenced her by applying pressure to her acupoints, rendering her completely immobile and at my mercy. The women were all intently focused on the dinosaurs in the arena, oblivious to the little incident unfolding here.

Enjoying this unusual thrill, I whispered in Wu Zetian's ear, "Isn't it wonderful to enjoy the show while watching?" I reached out and lifted her skirt, pulling down her panties. My massive dragon plunged in, thrusting rapidly…

Wu Zetian frowned, but her treasure was already dripping wet, so she felt no pain, only a surge of pleasure…

Leaving aside the erotic scene here, let's look at the dinosaurs in the arena. The Tyrannosaurus Rex stood in neat rows, their massive heads and sharp fangs gleaming coldly. The herbivores, though also arranged in a straight line, were spaced a body length apart from each other. While they lacked sharp weapons, they possessed enormous bodies and sturdy, long tails.

Both sides roared in unison, the earth trembled, and the two groups of dinosaurs charged at each other with a force thousands or even tens of thousands of times greater than that of two armies clashing.

Just as their bodies were about to collide, the herbivores turned around in unison, their massive tails whipping across the Tyrannosaurus Rex's head. Many roaring Tyrannosaurus Rex had no time to react, their fangs flying off, some even losing both rows of fangs, like toothless tigers, at the mercy of the herbivores. The herbivorous dinosaur

king was the strongest, knocking the upper half of the Tyrannosaurus Rex it faced far away. Only the corpse with half a jaw remained crashed to the ground.

The Tyrannosaurus Rex king was also extraordinary; it fiercely bit the tail of a herbivorous dinosaur that was sweeping towards its head, intending to bite the tail off in one bite. The herbivorous dragon's tail was surprisingly thick and its bones were strong. For a moment, they were locked in a stalemate. The Tyrannosaurus Rex roared, twisted its massive head, and lifted the herbivorous dragon, tail and all, off the ground. The

herbivorous dragon, several times the size of the Tyrannosaurus Rex, was lifted and spun twice. The Tyrannosaurus Rex released its grip, and with a whoosh, the herbivorous dragon was thrown high into the air, slamming into several herbivorous dragons behind it. These massive herbivorous dragons had no chance to dodge, and with a loud thud, they were crushed into a pile.

The herbivorous dragon whose tail had been bitten struggled for a moment, then got up as if nothing had happened and charged back at the Tyrannosaurus Rex. The unfortunate herbivorous dragons, however, became its cushions, spitting blood, unable to stand again. Seeing their mates killed by the Tyrannosaurus Rex, the remaining herbivorous dragons roared and charged towards the Tyrannosaurus Rex.

Seeing that he had killed several herbivorous dinosaurs with a single blow, the Tyrannosaurus Rex roared excitedly and glanced defiantly at the herbivorous dinosaur king in the distance. The herbivorous dinosaur king was already furious at the powerful throw, but unfortunately, it was too heavy; otherwise, it would have leaped in front of the Tyrannosaurus Rex and stomped its tail.

However, the distance was too great, so it could only vent its anger on the poor Tyrannosaurus Rex. One Tyrannosaurus Rex was swept to the ground, and the herbivorous dinosaur king lunged forward, crushing the Tyrannosaurus Rex's head to pieces with its forelegs.

The Tyrannosaurus Rex was clearly not satisfied. It grabbed a hapless herbivorous dinosaur by the neck and, with a "crack," bit it off completely. With a flick of its wrist, the severed head struck the herbivorous dinosaur king's body.

The herbivorous dinosaur king was clearly enraged. It swept its massive tail across the chest, causing the surrounding Tyrannosaurus Rex to become weak in the knees, lose their balance, and fall to the ground, where they were then trampled by the following herbivorous dinosaurs until their brains splattered.

However, the Tyrannosaurus Rex had the advantage of sharp fangs, making its weapons far more advanced than those of the herbivores. In a typical battle between a Tyrannosaurus Rex and a herbivore, the herbivore was always the loser. Herbivores frequently had their necks bitten off by the Tyrannosaurus Rex. Although their tails could break bones and limbs, they were no match for the Tyrannosaurus Rex's sharp teeth and claws.

Two dinosaurs fell to the ground, the herbivore's tail firmly held in the Tyrannosaurus Rex's jaws. It could only frantically kick the Tyrannosaurus Rex with its four massive legs. The Tyrannosaurus Rex's pitiful forepaws couldn't even reach the herbivore's body, so it could only stretch out its two hind legs, struggling to block the herbivore's attacks.

Suddenly, another Tyrannosaurus Rex appeared from the side, biting the herbivore's head, killing it instantly. But immediately, several more herbivores rushed in, using their arms and legs to beat the two Tyrannosaurus Rex to a pulp.

More Tyrannosaurus Rex charged in, and another chaotic battle ensued. The Tyrannosaurus Rex fought two against one, occasionally biting the herbivorous dinosaur until it bled profusely, but it was also whipped around by the tail, crying out in pain. Although it also had a tail, it was much shorter and thinner than the herbivorous dinosaur's. Several Tyrannosaurus Rex tried to imitate the herbivorous dinosaur, but their tails were whipped at a ninety-degree angle, causing them to pounce on the herbivorous dinosaurs and bite them viciously. The

herbivorous dinosaurs didn't even have time to groan before their skin was torn open, and their intestines spilled out.

The entire battlefield was far more bloody and brutal than any human battlefield. The blood flowing from the dinosaurs' bodies was like small rivers. In just fifteen minutes, their faces were covered in mud, and the ground was covered in rivers. Under the sunlight, the stench was so strong that even we, ten miles away, felt nauseous.

Lin Lan knew nothing of martial arts and had the weakest resistance. It took Wu Mei extending a stream of true energy to calm her down. I wanted to lend her my energy, but since Wu Mei had already helped, I decided against it. The bloody scene only fueled my lust, making my actions even more frenzied. If I hadn't subdued Wu Zetian's pressure points, she would have been screaming with pleasure long ago. Now, she could only gape, waves of pleasure washing over her, her eyes glazed, her skin flushed pink, trembling uncontrollably.

The battlefield was evenly matched; the herbivores, when unleashed, were surprisingly no less formidable than the Tyrannosaurus Rex. Though lacking advanced weaponry, they possessed a death wish. Headless herbivores could be seen frequently, their massive tails lashing out relentlessly, pinning the Tyrannosaurus Rex down.

The Tyrannosaurus Rex, never expecting the usually meek herbivores to dare rebel and rout their forces, felt their dinosaur kingly pride invade their hearts, further igniting their bloodthirsty instincts. Flesh and blood flew everywhere, the roars shaking the clouds in the sky. Even the heavens seemed to cower in fear, hiding behind thick, dark clouds. A torrential downpour was imminent!

Both sides were now bloodthirsty, the Herbivore Dragon King and the Tyrannosaurus Rex leading their remaining forces in a final charge. This time, the two kings faced off head-on, charging towards each other in a straight line. Their subordinates pounded the earth with heavy footsteps.

The audience held their breath, thinking that the victor would be revealed in this final battle.

A deafening roar erupted as lightning ripped through the clouds and struck the dinosaur battlefield, precisely at the moment the Herbivore Dragon King and the Tyrannosaurus Rex's bodies made contact…

To find out what happened after the dinosaur battle, please read the next chapter!

Chapter 89: The Final Battle

Xu Zhengqi, Wu Zetian, and their hundreds of thousands of troops watched the dinosaur battle with rapt attention, completely stunned. Just as the Tyrannosaurus Rex and the Herbivore Dragon were about to engage in their final showdown, dark clouds rolled in the sky, and a bolt of lightning struck directly between the Tyrannosaurus Rex and the Herbivore Dragon King!

After more than two quarters of an hour of fierce fighting, the nearly two thousand herbivorous dinosaurs had dwindled to less than five hundred. The Tyrannosaurus Rex, with its more advanced weaponry, had caught the herbivorous dinosaurs off guard by their tail attacks, but still managed to retain six hundred. At this point, the herbivores no longer held a numerical advantage.

However, these five hundred herbivores, having run thousands of kilometers and endured such a fierce battle, were truly the elite of the herbivorous dinosaur herd. It's worth noting that running is the least desirable sport for herbivores with their massive, bulky bodies, so one can imagine how formidable these five hundred were.

The lightning struck straight down, like a sharp, cold sword piercing the sky, hitting the two sides precisely in the center with a deafening roar, unleashing an extremely blinding light that enveloped all the dinosaurs present. Even I had to shield my eyes from the light.

The intense light lasted for the time it takes to brew a cup of tea. When it finally faded, the area was shrouded in swirling dust and flying sand, making it impossible to see anything about the dinosaurs.

"Huh, that's strange. Where are the dinosaur roars and the earthquake feeling?" I said.

In the instant the lightning struck, Wu Zetian reached a climax, only then regaining her senses and exclaiming, "Could they have been struck dead by lightning?"

Just as she was speculating, two roars suddenly echoed from the arena simultaneously, one clearly from a Tyrannosaurus Rex and the other from a herbivore. With these roars, the dust gradually settled, finally revealing the dinosaurs.

Once the dust settled, they could finally see clearly. The dinosaurs on both sides of the arena were frozen in place, completely black, their eyes rolled back, their fur charred and emitting wisps of smoke. Because the dinosaurs were in a forward-leaning running posture, they soon collapsed to the ground one after another, unable to rise again.

Had all these dinosaurs been struck dead by the lightning?

Finally, only two enormous creatures remained standing there alone. Everyone stared in astonishment, and Lin Lan screamed "Ah—!" clearly quite surprised.

The two dragon kings were now completely different from their previous appearances. The herbivorous dragon, for example,

had sprouted a pair of long wings from its massive body. These wings, when spread, were estimated to be three or four miles long. Its fur was no longer the jet-black of its companion. Its once smooth, bluish skin was now covered in shimmering, fish-scale-like scales, covering its entire body from head to tail. Even more chilling was the appearance of a sharp, serrated blade, like that of a saber-toothed dragon, growing from its head to its tail. Furthermore, two additional serrations had sprouted on either side of its massive tail. One could imagine the pain if such a thing were to cut a Tyrannosaurus Rex.

The Tyrannosaurus Rex had also undergone a transformation, most notably the horns that had grown on its head. The Tyrannosaurus Rex already had a large head, and its gleaming white fangs were enormous. But now, a single horn, two zhang long and nearly two meters in diameter at its thickest point, had grown. Ironically, its originally slender forepaws had grown to three zhang long and had sprouted sharp claws. Its entire body was covered in leathery, glossy skin, as if coated with a protective film.

The two dragon kings, far from dying, had actually benefited from the misfortune, donning their armor and charging into battle.

Seeing their subordinates perish, the two dragon kings' bestial instincts were fully unleashed. With another roar, they charged at each other.

The Tyrannosaurus Rex, not yet fully appreciating the new weapon's power, hesitated to use it rashly, resorting to its old trick: a vicious bite at the herbivore. The herbivore, not daring to be careless, also used its old move, a sideways turn, its massive tail sweeping out, this time aimed at the Tyrannosaurus Rex's body.

With a muffled thud of flesh colliding, the herbivorous dinosaur struck the Tyrannosaurus Rex. Its serrated fin left a deep gash on the T-Rex's body, but the fin wasn't long enough or deep enough to cause serious injury.

The T-Rex then bit the herbivorous dinosaur's back, unfortunately scraping a long scar on its left cheek from the dinosaur's dorsal fin. Despite its scales, the herbivorous dinosaur couldn't withstand the T-Rex's sharp teeth, which were firmly embedded in its body.

The herbivorous dinosaur hissed in pain and lashed out with its long tail, leaving streaks of blood on its body. The T-Rex didn't let go, its sharp claws gripping the herbivorous dinosaur's back, and with a powerful slam, it knocked the massive creature to the ground.

The herbivore tumbled head over heels, and the Tyrannosaurus Rex, seeing an opportunity, released its grip and lunged at the fallen creature, biting down hard on its slender neck. Just as the herbivore was about to fall to the Tyrannosaurus Rex's jaws, it calmly kicked out with its four massive legs.

The Tyrannosaurus Rex, struck in the abdomen, was forced back into the air by the powerful blows. The herbivore then unleashed a powerful tail lash, sending the Tyrannosaurus Rex flying sideways before crashing to the ground with a thud.

Clearly, the herbivore had the upper hand in the first round, but its injuries were far more severe. The Tyrannosaurus Rex had only suffered superficial wounds, while the herbivore had been bitten deep into the bone.

The two dragon kings rose again, glaring at each other menacingly.

The Tyrannosaurus Rex was clearly wary of the herbivore's serrated fins. Although those fins couldn't seriously injure it, cutting into its own body would still hurt, and if too much blood was lost, the herbivore wouldn't have the upper hand in a prolonged fight. This time, it had witnessed the power of its new weapon, and then it thought to itself, "Haven't I grown a new

weapon too?" It lay down on all fours, one foreleg raised high, head down, horn extended forward, pointing at the herbivore. It had seen its prey use this move before, and it was quite effective. Being many times larger than that bison, its power should be many times greater.

So, it roared "Roar—!" and charged at the herbivore like a bull, its speed far surpassing its previous two-legged form. How could two legs possibly outrun four?

The herbivorous dinosaur was caught off guard by the Tyrannosaurus Rex's sudden, unprecedented maneuver. To block it—its long horn threatened to pierce its chest and kill it instantly; to dodge—the Tyrannosaurus Rex's increased speed meant it could only dodge its front, not its tail, and one part would surely be severely injured.

In desperation, the herbivorous dinosaur had a flash of inspiration. Mimicking a pterosaur, it flapped its wings fiercely, narrowly avoiding the horn's attack just before it reached its body. It then leaped into the air, soaring over thirty feet above the ground.

"A flying dragon!" Turkey exclaimed in surprise. I asked, "What kind of dragon is a flying dragon?"

Turkey replied, "In prehistoric Western times, there were two kinds of dragons. One could fly, called a flying dragon. The other had a single horn, called a unicorn dragon."

I said, "Could it be that because of this lightning strike, they evolved into the Flying Dragon King and the Unicorn Dragon King respectively?"

Turkey said, "Very likely."

The herbivorous dinosaur—no, it should now be called the Flying Dragon King. The Tyrannosaurus Rex, of course, deserves the title of King of the Unicorns.

This dinosaur battle can truly be called a clash of titans; the ultimate powerhouses on both sides, further evolved, clash in a way that darkens the heavens and eclipses the sun and moon. The flying dragons soar through the air, seizing every opportunity to swoop down on the unicorn, like an eagle catching a chick, leaving the unicorn spinning in circles.

The unicorn, on the ground, constantly defends against the flying dragons' attacks, occasionally retaliating with its long horn, leaving the flying dragons helpless.

Enraged by this, the unicorn, by its cunning nature, devises a plan.

The flying dragon swoops down again, and the unicorn, unable to dodge, is struck in the back, collapsing to the ground! It lies there, unable to get up for a long time. The flying dragon, no longer doubting its strength, swoops down once more, its four thick legs stomping down on the unicorn, determined to crush it into a pulp. Just as it was about to step on the unicorn's body, the unicorn suddenly raised its head, its horn aimed directly at the wyvern's belly.

The wyvern was startled and tried to flap its wings to fly away, but the force of the dive was immense, and the unicorn's horn pierced right through its heart.

But the unicorn wasn't faring any better; its four heavy legs slammed into its own body, and a deafening crash of flesh and bone could be heard even ten miles away.

Both were severely injured!

Both dragons roared in pain. The wyvern, enduring the excruciating pain from the horn, thrashed about, crushing the Tyrannosaurus Rex into a bloody pulp. The Tyrannosaurus Rex tried to dodge, but with the horn inside the wyvern's body, how could it escape?

As the saying goes, "Trying to steal a chicken may succeed, but it loses the rice instead," severely injuring its opponent while losing its life.

The wyvern flapped its massive wings, detaching its horn, and scooped its massive tail under the unicorn's body, tossing its carcass high into the air before whipping its tail around. With a loud "bang," the unicorn dragon's corpse flew like a cannonball towards the hundreds of thousands of Mongol troops outside the city. With another loud "bang," the unicorn dragon's corpse tumbled and rolled, crushing the army and causing countless deaths and injuries. The soldiers were stunned, completely unprepared for this sudden disaster.

The unicorn's carcass appeared so suddenly that even though many thought to hide, where could they possibly escape with a corpse spanning dozens of feet?

In just one fell swoop, the Mongol army lost over ten thousand men. Wherever the unicorn passed, flesh and yellow earth were left behind a trail of blood, forming a blood-red "carpet" dozens of feet wide and hundreds of feet long!

Lin Lan fainted from the gruesome scene before her. Fortunately, I was quick enough to avoid a close encounter with the ground. Wu Zetian and her women all turned pale, bending over and vomiting, even vomiting yellow fluid.

I was helpless against their vomiting; even my unparalleled martial arts skills couldn't cure their psychological ailments.

While I was comforting the women, the situation on the battlefield reversed.

With a "boom," the flying dragon plummeted headfirst from the sky, dying instantly.

Not a single dinosaur remained, but the tiger's might remained even in death, and both sides sounded the retreat once more. Hundreds of thousands vanished without a trace in an instant.

Not a single soldier could be seen on the city walls, and the ground beneath them was littered with corpses—human and dinosaur—stretching for hundreds of kilometers. The corpses on the mountains and hills, along with the flowing blood, coalesced into a red river that slowly flowed eastward.

Wherever this river passed, it brought a stench of blood and decay; every now and then, one could see a human corpse or two in the river, along with entrails and entrails, a sight that made one want to vomit. Birds

vanished from the mountains, and human tracks disappeared from every path!

Within a hundred miles, all animals had fled, not even the vultures that ate carrion had appeared. Only a few of us remained, standing on the hillside, alone, savoring the bloody and desolate aftermath of this great battle…

Chapter Ninety: Return to the Human World

. The dinosaur war ended in a draw, and Xu Zhengqi led a large group of people to an unknown destination on the hillside.

Characters: Xu Zhengqi, Lin Lan, Wu Zetian, Sister Wu, Sister Wu, the beautiful snake Yingying, the lion-bodied woman-faced Shishi, and the chicken-bodied, human-faced turkey as the opposing side.

Wu Zetian said, "I never imagined that the prehistoric dinosaur battle would be so spectacular; it's truly earth-shattering and awe-inspiring."

I said, "The world is indeed full of wonders."

Sister Wu, young and lively, asked, "Mother, how come when lightning struck, those two dinosaurs not only were they unharmed, but they became even more powerful?"

Although Wu Zetian had lived for over a thousand years, she could only shake her head at this. Everyone found it strange, except for the turkey, who seemed to be deep in thought.

I changed the subject, saying, "Right now, we should find an inn to stay at and then discuss our future itinerary."

Wu Zetian scoffed, "You're traveling around with two monsters; wherever you go, people will treat you like a monster too!"

Wu Zetian always seemed to be at odds with me, clearly very dissatisfied with my earlier "ambush," even though she was also quite pleased. I disagreed, saying, "As long as we wrap them up tightly and hire a few carriages, who will see them along the way?"

Wu Zetian said, "So, you're rich, huh?"

I chuckled; all my silver had been taken by the Iron-Faced Man in Killer Valley, leaving me with not a penny. I said, "Why would I need to carry money? As a chivalrous person, of course I should rob the rich to help the poor."

Wu Zetian said, "If you are a chivalrous person, there will be no lecherous thieves in the world."

I cupped my hands in thanks, saying, "You flatter me, Mother-in-law, you are very insightful!"

Wu Zetian was so angry at my shameless behavior that her face turned ashen. She grunted and remained silent, exuding an aura of imperial dominance. But to me, her aura held no power whatsoever; at least, none of the women around her felt it!

At this moment, Turkey suddenly rushed over and knelt down before me with a thud, saying, "Young master, spare my life! I was confused before, blinded by past hatred. Please, young master, have mercy and spare my life, release the restraints, and let me leave!"

Turkey's two slender chicken legs knelt on the ground, truly resembling a human, with a tearful face, looking pitiful. All the women were moved by her pitiful appearance, and I was no exception. I said, "Although you seriously injured my friends, that is still a matter of the past. Now they are severely injured by you, needing to stay in bed for a full month to recover, and your cultivation foundation was almost destroyed. Now that the grudges are settled, you have avenged yourself. Don't cause trouble again!"

Turkey nodded her head like a chicken pecking at rice, repeatedly saying, "I dare not, I dare not. " Just

as I was about to use my magic to remove the seal on her body, Wu Zetian hurriedly said, "No!"

"I see that this demon's will is very firm, and her hatred is as deep as the sea. If you release her this time, she will surely come back one day."

Turkey hurriedly said, "Madam, you misunderstand. I have just watched the dinosaur battle today and suddenly realized that the ultimate result of hatred is nothing but destruction. Turkey does not want to die and will never seek revenge on you, young master, thus courting death."

Wu Zetian refused, saying, "You are my prisoner, and only I have the right to deal with you."

I snorted, "How can my mother-in-law be unreasonable? Heaven has the virtue of cherishing life. Has my mother-in-law, who has lived to such an old age, not yet understood the true meaning of life?"

Sister Wu and Sister Wu saw that things were not going well and hurriedly came to persuade Wu Zetian. Lin Lan also tugged at my sleeve, scolding me for speaking to my mother-in-law like that.

After a small commotion, Turkey was still released by me. Since I did not want to kill her, I did not want to carry an extra burden.

I carried the women on my back and, together with Wu Zetian, used our light-footed skills to leap eastward. The western region was currently embroiled in constant warfare; sometimes, a thousand miles were deserted, and the smoke of cooking fires extinguished for miles. My heart was constantly filled with worry for my eighteen mothers and my grandmaster sister, Li Ling'er. The world was fraught with danger. Although they possessed first- rate martial

arts skills, the world was unpredictable, and something could happen to them. Even with my previous martial arts prowess

, I was still subdued by the Iron-Faced Man. The world is vast and full of wonders; martial arts cannot solve all problems. Furthermore, Lin Lan hadn't returned home to see her family for over a decade. I had noticed her expression; she had tried to speak to me several times, but due to deeply ingrained feudal traditions, she couldn't

easily give orders to her husband, leaving her melancholy. We traveled all afternoon, finally finding a small village around midnight. The village was dilapidated, with only a few dozen households. Only one family lived in a brick-and-tile house; needless to say, that family must be the landlords.

In the early hours of the morning, most farmers were resting and preparing for tomorrow's work, having already turned off their lights and gone to

bed. However, in the inner room of one wealthy family, a lamp remained lit, from which came the sounds of laughter from a man and woman. I, along with a group of women, moved like ghosts to the roof of the mansion in a flash. Several vicious dogs, about to bark, were instantly killed by a few silent flicks of my fingers.

I rushed into the house, my ten fingers striking the pressure points of everyone inside before I could examine them closely. Inside were one man and three women. The man was fat and bloated, his face contorted with fear, trembling uncontrollably, unable to speak, otherwise he would have screamed in terror.

The other three young women were also somewhat attractive, but their alluring looks were several levels below Lin Lan's. Seeing the arrival of this powerful man, they stared at me with terrified eyes.

"If you dare to shout, I'll break your neck!" I said fiercely before releasing the fat man's pressure points.

As soon as the pressure points were released, he cried out, "Good sir, spare my life! Good

sir, spare my life!" I said, "I'm short of clothes and money, and I've come here seeking only wealth, not my life. If you know what's good for you, quickly hand over your money and clothes."

The fat man's fear lessened slightly, and he said, "Good sir, spare my life! With all these man-made and natural disasters, war, drought, and limited harvests for the tenants, my life is hard too."

"Don't be so stubborn, or you'll regret it!" I said, putting on a fierce expression. Sister Wu and Sister Wu, hiding in the shadows, saw me and almost burst out laughing.

The fat man, seeing that this strongman was tall and burly, dressed in animal skins, clearly an unreasonable savage, nodded repeatedly in fright at my roar. He hurriedly pulled a small wooden box from the bedside table and tremblingly handed it to me.

Opening it, I found only a few silver ingots inside, less than a hundred taels.

"Is this all the money your family has?" I asked maliciously.

The fat man forced a smile to hide his fear, saying, "Brother Qiangren, I wouldn't dare lie to you even if I were struck by lightning! The harvest was bad, really bad. We only have this much left from the first half of the year; the rest has all been spent."

"Oh? Spent it all?"

the fat man hurriedly explained, "Brother Qiangren, you don't know the cost of living until you're in charge."

I feigned curiosity and asked, "What do you mean?"

Hearing this, the fat man, his cunning scheme succeeding, was overjoyed. "Look at my whole family! People need to eat, dogs need to eat. To guard against thieves… oh no, to guard against people like you, Brother Qiangren… oh no… look at my foul mouth, I really can't speak properly. Anyway, I also hired several guards, plus the servants' wages, it's quite an expense!"

"Oh, really? Such a huge expense, and you even had such a luxurious bed made. You could afford three concubines?"

The fat man smiled and said, "Hehe, brother, you know, we men... hehe..."

I chuckled along, clearly understanding.

Then I pointed to the oversized wooden pillow and said, "Brother, you really know how to enjoy life. Even your pillow is so exquisitely made." Upon seeing it, the fat man's face changed drastically. He hurriedly used his fat body to block my view and said, "Brother, look, it's so late. Why don't you sleep in my room? And I'll have my three concubines keep you company... how about it?"

I said, "Sure, but I have to ask my wives if they agree. Wives, come out!"

Sister Wu and Sister Wu, carrying Ying Shi and the other two women, slowly emerged from the shadows.

"Ah—" The fat man screamed in fright when he saw several monsters emerge, and fell straight backward, actually fainting from fright. Even the three women on the ground were so frightened they closed their eyes and lost consciousness…

Wu Zetian came out but didn't look at me, only cursing the robbers and traitors. Lin Lan looked at me, hesitant to speak, unsure where to begin.

I kicked the fat man under the bed, lifted the pillow, and sure enough, there was a hidden compartment underneath. Opening it, I found it filled with gold and silver jewels, probably worth several thousand taels.

“That fat bastard, I never thought he could make so much money in such a small village. I really underestimated him.” I said, kicking the fat man a few more times, but I felt no sympathy for the villagers. I am neither a saint nor a gentleman; caring only for myself and ignoring others has always been my style.

Call me selfish or a villain if you want, there are so many injustices in the world. What's the point of doing something so thankless? I'd rather enjoy my own carefree life.

After a good night's sleep and good food at the wealthy family's house, at the crack of dawn the next day, I carried Ying Shi and her two companions, wrapped up like dumplings, on my back and flew eastward with the rest of the women. I left a few hundred miles for that fat man, and looted the rest of the place. You,

dear readers, want me to take everything? Absolutely not! If I take everything, that fat man will definitely force the tenants to pay their rent early. If it really causes the tenants to be ruined and die, the King of Hell will surely mark me in the Book of Life and

Death. Forgive me, forgive me! How could I, Xu Zhengqi, do such a thing? On the way, Lin Lan was about to speak, but I quickly said before her, "Why don't we all go to Suzhou first? It's a bustling metropolis. My mother-in-law hasn't been to this world for hundreds of years; she must be eager to see it."

Wu Zetian originally wanted to go to Chang'an, but for her, it was a place of sorrow, so she agreed to my suggestion.

Lin Lan was the most excited. Her eyes shone, and her lips trembled as she said, "Husband...husband, you're so...so good to me."

I smiled and said, "You're my wife. If I'm not good to my wife, who am I good to?" Lin Lan was too moved to speak.

Sister Wu said, "Husband is so biased. As soon as we left the forest, he wanted to go see his mother-in-law." I pretended not to understand and said, "My dear sister, isn't my mother-in-law right beside you?"

Sister Wu lightly punched my back and scolded, "Husband, you're so naughty, you know perfectly well..."

I laughed heartily, all the fatigue from carrying several women along the way vanished. The group chatted, and the road was filled with silvery laughter.

Chapter Ninety-One: Spicy Phoenix Yang Kexin

At noon that day, I led the women to a small town. Due to the special nature of Ying Shi and the other two women, and their deep sleep to recover from their injuries, I had prepared a luxurious four-horse carriage for them to rest in. The journey to Suzhou is thousands of miles long. While I could carry it all by myself quickly, I'd be exhausted.

Besides, Empress Wu Zetian hadn't been seen for centuries and longed to see the local customs and scenery along the way. Sister Wu and the three women, Lin Lan and Wu Jie, wholeheartedly agreed. Thus, a four-horse carriage appeared in the small town, driven by a nine-foot-tall, muscular man wielding a whip.

The four-horse carriage could comfortably accommodate more than ten people. The long carriage was supported by four large wheels, and the interior was covered with luxurious carpets, each as tall as a person. It was fully equipped with bedding and a bed. There was a small window on each side, allowing those inside to see the scenery without lifting the curtains, while those outside couldn't see in.

This carriage greatly reduced the hassle of the long journey, making the tedious travel much more enjoyable in a relaxed atmosphere.

The townspeople, mostly only seven feet tall, had never seen anyone nine feet tall before. They all followed behind my enormous carriage, eager to see what was happening. The women inside were fully clothed, their entire bodies covered by garments, even their faces veiled by black hats.

I drove the carriage to a stop in front of a tavern. The waiter, seeing a distinguished customer, rushed forward, saying, "Please come in and have a seat, sir."

I told the waiter, "Bring whatever good wine and food you have. My wives and I are not comfortable showing ourselves in public, so we won't get out to eat." The waiter acknowledged

, and soon a large table of food and wine was brought in. I personally served the food to the carriage, but didn't eat inside. I instructed the waiter to prepare some horse feed and strode into the tavern.

Women shouldn't show their faces in public, but I, a dignified nine-foot-tall man, felt stifled spending my days holed up in a seven-foot-high place eating

, drinking, and sleeping. Empress Wu Zetian and her consorts, knowing I couldn't bear the loneliness, didn't stop me and let me go. Entering the restaurant, I saw it was packed with diners. It was probably midday; all twenty-odd tables were full, men and women, young and old—probably at least a hundred people.

My sharp eyes spotted a man of about thirty at a table diagonally opposite, enjoying a few dishes and drinking alone, quite content. I quickly walked over to his table, plopped down, and loudly proclaimed, "Waiter, bring more good wine and food, please treat this brother to a meal!"

This shout, though without using any internal force, was still full of energy and exceptionally loud. The diners, who had been paying attention to me, began whispering amongst themselves after I spoke. Such a tall person was truly rare; perhaps he was naturally gifted and as strong as an ox.

I didn't care what others thought of me. The man in front of me looked up and saw that he had a square face and large ears, and his appearance was quite dignified. His brows showed that he was worldly and sociable, and he was well-informed. He was dressed as a merchant, so he seemed to be a businessman.

He said, "My name is Leng Zixing, and I currently run an antique business. We are all brothers under heaven, so how can I trouble you to spend money? Please sit down."

Upon hearing Leng Zixing's words, I knew he was a hospitable man, so I sincerely said, "Brother, my name is Xu Zhengqi, I'm just a nobody trying to make a living in the martial world."

"'Nine-Foot Demon' Xu Zhengqi!" Leng Zixing gasped, startled, and stood up abruptly, spilling his wine on the table as he stared at me in disbelief. Some of the people present were also figures in the martial world, and upon hearing the name "Nine-Foot Demon," and comparing it to my unparalleled height, they all turned to look at me.

Now, my martial arts skills were practically invincible, so I didn't care about my past reputation. Besides, I had been separated from my mothers for many days and had been intentionally spreading my name and whereabouts to make it easier for them to find me.

"What? A businessman like you has heard of my name?" I said dismissively, picking up a piece of meat and putting it in my mouth.

Seeing my upright and dignified demeanor, unlike the evasive and cowardly behavior of other lecherous villains in the martial world, Leng Zixing thought to himself that he had no connection with this lecherous fiend. Besides, the lecherous fiend only targeted women; he had never heard of him harming men. How could a man like himself be so cowardly?

Leng Zixing slowly sat down, but his posture was noticeably more restrained than before. He said, "Brother, your name is renowned throughout the martial world. Who in this world doesn't know you? Moreover, I am a merchant, so I can be considered half a martial artist. Although I have no martial arts skills, I still know this much."

I laughed heartily, "I never imagined that my reputation in the martial world, Xu Zhengqi, would be so widespread. It is truly a cause for celebration." I was laughing because now that my whereabouts had been revealed, there was hope of finding my mothers. However, everyone in the martial world present thought that this lecherous fiend was truly arrogant, completely disregarding all martial artists in the world.

Leng Zixing, however, was a shrewd and worldly-wise man. He believed that dealing with such people was the easiest, as they were utterly guileless. Although he wanted to befriend me, he feared being implicated by my reputation as a lecherous demon, unnecessarily offending the entire martial arts world—that would be disastrous. Just as he was about to take his leave, he was interrupted.

Suddenly, a beautiful young woman stood up from the seat next to him. With a clang, she drew the sword from her back, pointing it at me and declared, "Lecherous demon! Yang Kexin, a disciple of the Songshan Sect's leader, is here today to rid the people of this scourge, to bring blessings to the martial arts world, and to seek justice for all women!" With that, she thrust her sword at me from afar. The other disciples beside her, never expecting their junior sister to dare challenge the peerless "Nine-Foot Lecherous Demon," tried to stop her but couldn't. They all stood up and followed Yang Kexin.

Leng Zixing happened to be sitting between Yang Kexin and me. Hearing the sound, he turned around and saw a sword thrusting towards him. Terrified, he rolled away, barely escaping the circle, breaking out in a cold sweat, secretly relieved.

Yang Kexin seemed to have anticipated Leng Zixing's dodge, and so the sword continued its momentum, aimed directly at my face. It was a move from the Songshan Sword School's Pine Sword Technique, "Huangshan Welcoming Pine."

To ordinary martial artists, this move seemed like a shooting star, unstoppable. Without ten or twenty years of swordsmanship experience, one could not possibly master such a simple move to such a level.

But I possessed unparalleled dragon strength, so I didn't take this small sword seriously. My right hand kept chopsticks busy, stuffing good meat and vegetables into my mouth, completely unaware of my current predicament.

Everyone was overjoyed, secretly thinking that this lecherous demon's reaction was far too slow; he hadn't even heard Yang Kexin's angry shout. He was truly all show and no substance, a useless fool.

Before the crowd could recover from their elation, they suddenly saw Yang Kexin's sword fixed motionless three inches in front of my brow.

I didn't raise my head, didn't look, and just kept eating and drinking. Yang Kexin, however, was greatly shocked. The sword in her hand seemed to be blocked by an invisible wall, unable to penetrate any further. The young girl mustered all her strength, determined to pierce my brow with her sword.

"The highest level of protective divine skill—remote defense!" Suddenly, an extremely surprised old man's voice rang out from the crowd. Everyone looked over and saw a seventy-year-old man holding a broken cup, staring at me in astonishment.

The diners in the shop finally realized how powerful I was. Just hearing the words "the highest level of protective divine skill" was enough to tell them how skilled I was. Just imagine, even the enemy's sword couldn't pierce this lecherous demon's body. This lecherous demon's martial arts skills were truly unfathomable.

I looked up at the old man and smiled, saying, "Sir, you have a good eye. May I ask which senior master you are?"

The old man cupped his hands in a gesture of respect and said, "How dare I call myself a senior master? My name is Song Gang. The Yangtze River's waves push the old ones forward, and a new generation replaces the old. I never expected that such a master like you would emerge from the underworld. I've never even heard of my Song Manor."

I laughed and said, "Sir, your Song Manor isn't very well-known in the Jiangnan region, but it's extremely famous in the Northwest. It's the leader of the righteous path in the Northwest martial arts world. I grew up in the Jiangnan region, so I've never heard of you before. Please don't take offense."

Song Gang laughed loudly, walked to my table, and sat down, saying, "Well said, never heard of you before. I've never been interested in fame or fortune. Young man, based on that one sentence, I'll definitely drink three large cups with you."

After saying that, Song Gang poured himself three large cups of white wine, drank them all in one gulp, and displayed the hearty spirit of a chivalrous hero.

Yang Kexin, who had been poised to attack, was so angry at my complete disregard for her that she gritted her teeth. Now that a leader of the Northwest martial arts world had emerged, she couldn't very well make things difficult for me. She walked to Song Gang's side, cupped her hands, and said, "Yang Kexin, a third-generation disciple of Songshan, greets Senior."

Song Gang nodded and said, "I wondered who was so reckless. It turns out to be a rising star among the younger generation of martial arts, the 'Hot Phoenix' of the Three Heroes and Five Phoenixes." The

Three Heroes and Five Phoenixes? I've never heard of them.

Yang Kexin blushed and repeatedly said, "I dare not accept such praise." Only then did I take a closer look at this young girl.

She was 1.6 meters tall, with a superior figure, even more so than Lin Lan, but with a more heroic air. She wore a tight-fitting martial arts outfit, with a sword sheath strapped diagonally to her back. The cloth rope stretched her breasts tightly, which, though not large, were extremely pleasing to the eye. Around sixteen years old, her body was clearly just beginning to develop; her buttocks were slightly upturned, showing signs of growing larger.

Yang Kexin, who was shy in front of the senior Song Gang, suddenly felt a naked, lustful gaze sweeping over her body, sending shivers down her spine. Looking up, she met my lustful gaze. She raised her sword to strike again, cursing, "You lecherous thief, you deserve to die!"

As one of the best young martial artists in the world, Yang Kexin had never been subjected to such a lewd gaze, let alone dared to stare at her like that in front of her. In this martial world, which young hero wouldn't bow down and be subservient to her?

Song Gang reached out to block her, saying, "My dear niece, you mustn't be so presumptuous." Song Gang had just met Yang Kexin and felt that she resembled his own granddaughter, and he was quite fond of her. He was frightened that Yang Kexin was about to attack this lecherous devil again, and quickly stopped her. Thinking to himself, "Even I'm no match for him, how can you possibly humiliate yourself by attacking him?"

Yang Kexin said, "Grandpa Song, this little lecherous thief is staring at me with those thieving eyes of his. I'm going to kill him!"

Song Gang was about to speak again, but I interrupted him, saying, "Young Miss Yang, what do you look like? What are you wearing? Aren't you just there for others to see? Or are you just showing yourself off?" Yang Kexin

angrily retorted, "You—"

Song Gang, however, was thinking to himself, "This nine-foot-tall lecherous devil may not be old, but his words are quite profound. Just this one sentence is enough to make one ponder." Seeing that Yang Kexin was embarrassed, I advised, "What young Xu said makes sense, but she is still a young lady. How can you treat her like this?"

I have always respected the elderly and cared for the young. Song Gang didn't put on airs or act like an old man when talking to me, which earned my respect.

"Old Master Song is right, but I've always been prone to speaking without thinking, and I hope you won't take offense." It would be strange if Yang Kexin didn't take offense; she was about to scold me again, but Song Gang secretly pulled her aside, and she understood and stopped bothering me. However, her anger wouldn't subside, so she glared at me with her big, watery eyes. If looks could kill, she probably would have killed me hundreds of times over by now.

Song Gang sat down again, pulling Yang Kexin to sit beside him, saying, "Young Xu, I never imagined that at such a young age, your protective skills had reached the level of defending against enemies from afar. I truly envy you."

"Not at all, not at all. I only achieved this by chance; how can I compare to the profound internal strength that Old Master Song has cultivated diligently for decades?" I said modestly.

"I'm getting old, the world will belong to you young people in the future."

"Old man, you're still going strong, not old at all. If I could live to your age, I don't know if I'd have your physique."

Song Gang grinned from ear to ear, "I didn't expect you, little devil, to be so eloquent."

"The 'lecherous demon' is just a derogatory term given to me by those who don't know the truth. I, Xu Zhengqi, have a clear conscience and I don't care what people call me."

Seeing my words, Song Gang was clearly intrigued and said, "Oh? I knew there must be some unreliability in the rumors of the martial world. Could it be that you've really been wronged?"

"If we're talking about the facts, the title 'lecherous demon' is only half true!" I took a sip of my wine. It's always unpleasant to have a bad reputation, even for someone like me who doesn't care about reputation.

Imagine everyone pointing fingers and cursing you behind your back. You might not feel anything, but how would your family and friends feel if they were with you? Even if I didn't consider myself, I had to think about my family. That's why I made up my mind to change my name to Xu Zhengqi.

"What do you mean? Where did this half-truth come from?" Song Gang was clearly confused by what I said. Yang Kexin scoffed, "You just make up lies to fool old people."

Song Gang was portrayed as a confused old man by her, and he coughed awkwardly a few times. But this young girl, Yang Kexin, completely ignored Song Gang and continued to mock me.

I've always been good at coaxing women, but I'm not good at arguing with them. This Yang Kexin, though young, is quite shrewd. I don't know where she heard so many insults, but she unleashed a barrage of insults at me. I offered only silent resistance, but I made up my mind that one day I would definitely beat that little mouth of hers to a pulp.

I indulged in some fantasies, and my mood gradually improved. I raised my glass and drank it down with Song Gang in one gulp. The two of us focused only on eating and drinking, ignoring Yang Kexin.

Chapter Ninety-Two: Humiliating Yang Kexin

. Yang Kexin had been cursing for a while, but as she continued, she realized something was amiss. Looking around, she saw that all the diners in the restaurant were staring at her with eyes as big as copper bells. Yang Kexin stopped talking with an "uh—", her pretty face flushing bright red, the blush spreading all the way to her neck. I saw this and laughed, "A dignified fiery phoenix blushing? How strange."

Yang Kexin was about to argue with me again, but Song Gang was displeased and scolded, "You're a girl, not even married yet, and you're acting like a shrew? How come you're just like my granddaughter?" Yang

Kexin was also displeased, but Song Gang was, after all, a senior in the martial arts world, so she couldn't argue back. She thought to herself, "Isn't your granddaughter just as spoiled? Why are you lecturing me? "

Song Gang secretly compared me and Yang Kexin. They looked to be about the same age, one calm and collected, the other impetuous; one from the underworld, the other from the legitimate world, yet their martial arts skills were worlds apart. Thinking of his own grandchildren, none of them had my level of refinement and skill. He sighed that the legitimate world was dying out, and wondered if the martial arts world was really going to be taken over by the underworld.

Although I'm not one to fuss over details, I've been good at reading people since I was a child. Seeing Song Gang bow his head and remain silent, only drinking, his face expressionless, I knew

he was deep in thought. The atmosphere at the table was uneasy. I said, "Old sir, are you lamenting that the White Path has no successors?" Song Gang was startled: "How did you know I thought that?"

I said, "Just now I saw you glance at Miss Yang, then at me, and then shake your head. Clearly, you were comparing me to her. Naturally, I'm better than her in every way, and there's no young martial artist in the world whose skills surpass mine. It's no wonder you lament that the White Path has no successors."

Song Gang sighed: "Could it be that the White Path truly has no successors? I didn't expect you to be so observant and thoughtful at such a young age."

"Old Qianfei has this preconceived notion that I'm part of the underworld. But I've never considered myself part of the underworld."

Yang Kexin said angrily, "You lecherous monster, you harassed the wife and daughters of the Taishan Sect leader, Yin Qing and Zhang Tingting, you drugged and raped the eight disciples of the Emei Sect leader, you raped innocent women, you killed before you raped, you've committed all sorts of evil deeds, do you think we're all deaf?"

The more she talked, the more something seemed off. When had I ever raped and then killed? I argued, "The matter between Yin Qing and Zhang Tingting and me was a misunderstanding. At the time, I was young and impetuous, and I didn't want to explain myself. As for the matter of the Emei Sect leader and his disciples, it was entirely the work of Chen Daozhi, a traitor from Wudang. All eight members of the Emei Sect, from the sect leader down, were poisoned by his aphrodisiac, Dragon Saliva Incense. I repelled him, and to save them, I sacrificed myself to feed the tiger and heal their wounds."

Yang Kexin retorted, "That sounds nice, but how did the Emei Sect say that you raped them? It caused them, a prestigious martial arts sect, to close their mountain retreat and not leave the martial world."

I replied, "You can't see into someone's heart. How would I know what Mie Tian is thinking?" "What? Perhaps she resents me for ruining her cultivation, and harbors resentment, knowing she's no match for me, she resorted to this scheme to kill me with a borrowed knife."

Song Gang asked, "Do you have any evidence?"

I replied, "What evidence? I don't have any dragon's saliva incense. Chen Daozhi was half-dead from my palm strike, and he's long gone off to heal somewhere; he won't recover for at least a year or two. That old nun Mie Tian is always so concerned with saving face, why would she come forward to defend me?"

As I spoke, Song Gang stared intently into my eyes, showing no sign of lying, convinced that I was telling the truth. Besides, with my current martial arts skills, Song Gang is no match for me, so why would I lie to him?

Song Gang then said, "Then what about your rape of a respectable woman, first raping her and then killing her?" Yang Kexin chimed in, "Let's see what you have to say now."

I shook my head and said, "I didn't do it."

Yang Kexin was clearly dissatisfied: "You're denying it completely, refusing to admit it to the death. A real man would do something but not admit it."

I said seriously, "I really didn't do it, why would I lie to you?"

"Fine, if you won't admit it, I'll list your crimes!" Yang Kexin took a sip of tea. Song Gang already knew about this and silently let her talk.

"In June, after raping and assaulting members of the Emei Sect, you murdered a local gentry family of sixteen in Nanchang Prefecture, leaving behind a nine-foot-long bamboo pole. On

July 15th, in a forest outside Lin'an Prefecture, a village girl was found with a nine-foot-long bamboo pole impaled in her lower body; the scene was gruesome, and the crime was utterly heinous.

On August 7th, just a few days ago, a young woman was murdered in a village about a hundred miles away; a nine-foot-long bamboo pole pierced her from her lower body to her mouth. Who but you, the Nine-Foot Lecherous Demon, could commit such heinous crimes?"

Yang Kexin became increasingly agitated as she spoke, finally slamming her sword on the table, standing up angrily, glaring at everyone. The rest of the Songshan Sect members drew their swords, the clanging sounds of swords being drawn echoing throughout the room.

I burst into laughter, pounding my chest and stamping my feet, tears welling in my eyes. Yang Kexin retorted angrily, "You lecherous thief, what's so funny?"

"Hahaha—I never imagined that all these so-called righteous sects are a bunch of idiots! They see a long bamboo pole and mistake it for me! Hahaha—it's absolutely hilarious!" I roared, completely losing my earlier air of mastery.

The members of the Songshan Sect pointed their swords at me, and Yang Kexin was so enraged that her face turned ashen. She had completely lost her previous shy and delicate demeanor and became a shrew.

Song Gang quickly stood up to smooth things over, saying, "Young lady, let's talk this out. Why resort to violence? Besides, I'm a senior here; what right do you juniors have to make a move?"

A young man from the Songshan Sect stepped forward, arrogantly saying, "Hmph, what senior? Anyone who can chat and drink with a lecherous demon can't be any good either."

Song Gang gritted his teeth in anger, saying, "You junior! I never thought the younger disciples of the Songshan Sword Sect would all be such arrogant brats who don't know their manners. Fine, I won't interfere anymore. If you want to die, it's none of my business."

Song Gang flung his long skirt and angrily returned to his table. An old man at the table smiled and said, "It's thankless work; you just love meddling in other people's business."

Song Gang retorted angrily, "You still dare to talk back!" The old man actually stuck out his tongue and made a face, making Song Gang both amused and exasperated.

Meanwhile, I was on the verge of a fight with the disciples of the Songshan Sword Sect, the atmosphere quite tense, but I didn't care. However, some timid diners sitting nearby had already hurriedly left to pay their bills and depart. Everyone else also kept their distance, with many hiding to watch the commotion unfold. People love a good show; even a trivial matter can attract a swarm of flies.

Seeing the situation turning sour, the shopkeeper rushed over to me and said, "Sir, this is a small business. If you want to cause trouble, you'd better settle it outside."

I didn't press him, saying, "Prepare another table of food and wine for me; I want a victory celebration later."

Before I could finish speaking, Yang Kexin was enraged. She pointed her long sword and shouted, "Form a sword formation!" Instantly, tables and chairs flew, dishes scattered, and the place descended into chaos. Deep sword energy, whistling sounds, and figures flickered—six members of the Songshan Sword Sect, including Yang Kexin, surrounded me.

I, Wu, paid them no heed, making no preparations whatsoever, still smiling, seated in my chair, cups dangling.

Seeing this, Yang Kexin felt slighted and her youthful head burned with rage. She roared, "The first move of the Six Rings Small Sword Formation of the Thirty-Six Heavenly Sword Formation of Songshan Mountain, Open the Gate to Welcome the Pine!"

Six longswords simultaneously thrust towards me. I didn't even look; I could pinpoint their positions by sound alone. Each of my five fingers unleashed a burst of power, deflecting all five swords at the last second. Yang Kexin's sword, however, was struck by a fellow disciple's sword, crumbling without a trace.

"Flicking Finger Divine Skill?" Song Gang exclaimed. The old man beside him said, "No, no, it's more like the Six Meridian Divine Sword of Tianlong Temple in Dali. But the Six Meridian Divine Sword requires a specific posture and movement with each finger strike; it's not as effortless as this kid's execution."

The six swords were deflected by the invisible finger energy, but instead of discouraging them, it ignited the youthful passion within them. As the saying goes, a newborn calf is not afraid of a tiger; a heart full of passion is spilled in the martial world.

"The second move, 'Unyielding Pine Tree,'"

the six men charged forward again, swords in their right hands, their left hands gripping the tips. They managed to bend each steel sword into something neither quite a bow nor quite a sword. When they were a meter away from me, they simultaneously released their left hands, sending the six swords flying towards my upper, middle, and lower body. The attack was incredibly fast, and the speed of the swords' movement only amplified the speed. It was fortunate that Mount Song was so wealthy, using high-quality soft iron to forge such fine swords for their disciples.

I, however, had become somewhat interested in their swordsmanship. Instead of using finger-force to strike from a distance, I picked up a chopstick with my left hand, pinching it lightly between two fingers like a miniature sword, and struck with lightning speed. A series of "clangs" rang out as I blocked all six swords.

The six were shocked. None of the onlookers could see my technique clearly. Looking at what I held in my hand—a chopstick—they gasped, muttering to themselves, "This nine-foot-tall lecherous demon has incredible martial arts skills! He can use a chopstick against a sharp sword and still block them all! It's unbelievable!"

Unable to gain the upper hand, Yang Kexin became enraged, shouting, "If you have the guts, stand up and fight us fair and square!"

"I sit still, and you still can't defeat me? You dare to talk back?" Enraged

, Yang Kexin unleashed another sword strike. Frankly, if a martial artist with only thirty or fifty years of experience had lasted more than a few dozen moves, they would have a hard time lasting more than a few dozen. But I possessed over a thousand years of experience, dozens of times stronger than all six of them combined. They couldn't even muster the slightest fighting spirit in me. Subduing them was as easy as turning my hand; it was like an adult hitting an infant—I guaranteed they wouldn't be able to fight back at all.

But I hadn't seen much of the martial arts world, so why not take this opportunity to broaden my horizons, see more of the world, and watch a show?

The six men were locked in a fierce battle, each attack a counter-attack, no longer relying on my superior internal strength to overpower them. Except for Yang Kexin, the others grew increasingly alarmed, clearly realizing they were being played for fools. After half an hour of intense fighting, using every trick in the book, they still couldn't touch a single piece of my clothing.

Then Lin Lan walked out of the carriage into the inn and said to me, "Husband, stop playing around, it's getting late, we should get going."

Everyone was engrossed in the fight when a woman wearing a black veil and a bamboo hat appeared. Judging from her tone, she was none other than the wife of the Nine-Foot Lustful Demon! Everyone exclaimed in surprise, "A lecherous demon gets married?"

I kept fighting, glanced outside, and said, "It's getting late. Alright, I'm not playing with you bunch of fools anymore." The six still wanted to rush forward, but their strength was already failing. Only Yang Ke'er, the little girl, stood alone, sword held across her chest, blocking my way. She said, "Stop! You're not leaving until we settle this!"

I said, "Little girl, you're still breastfeeding. Go home and eat a few more ounces to build up your strength before you fight me."

Yang Ke'er's eyes turned red with anger. Forgetting all about techniques, she brought her long sword down in a flurry. I swayed lightly, and everyone only saw a blur before their eyes. Yang Ke'er's sword had lost its target. When they looked again, they saw me already carrying Lin Lan and heading outside.

Yang Kexin, her eyes red, shouted angrily behind me, "Nine-foot lecherous demon, I, Spicy Phoenix Yang Kexin, will not let you get away with this!"

"I'll definitely keep you company, but the most important thing for you right now is to look at your backs! Hahaha—"

I led Lin Lan and clasped my hands in a fist salute towards Song Gang, and without waiting for his return, I strode away.

Upon hearing this, everyone looked at the backs of Yang Kexin and the other six people. On their backs were six white characters: "Acupoint," "Fool," "Song," "Mountain," "Yes," and "Society." Someone whispered, "The Songshan Sect is the Fool's Acupoint!"

Everyone immediately understood and said that the Songshan Sect was indeed the Fool's Acupoint. The most amusing thing was that the character "Acupoint," which was forcibly grown on Yang Kexin's back, making Yang Kexin blush with shame, tears streaming down her face, wishing she could find a hole to crawl into.

Six fellow disciples rushed over to help each other wipe off the white characters on their backs, but they couldn't remove them no matter what they did. They didn't know what the characters were made of, so they slunk out of the tavern, taking off their outer garments as they went. Yang Kexin, wearing her junior brother's outer garment, ran out of the tavern with red eyes, wanting to catch up with the lecherous demon, but the door was already empty; there was no sign of the demon.

The tavern owner didn't dare to stop the troublemakers, so he just shouted, slapping his thigh, "Heavens above! Is there no justice? These people ate without paying and even broke my tables and chairs..."

Suddenly, a piece of silver fell from the sky, abruptly stopping the tavern owner's cries. Looking up, he saw Song Gang wave his hand and lead his old friend out the door...

Chapter Ninety-Three: Lin Lan's Home .

After humiliating Yang Kexin, the fiery phoenix of the Songshan Sect, I drove the carriage eastward with the women.

Lin Lan complained to me, "Husband, how could you treat a young woman like that?"

I chuckled, "They call you a lecherous devil, and say I raped and murdered many women. That's just baseless accusation, a complete false accusation. Do you think I'd let them off so easily?"

"But why did you write such ugly words on that young girl?" Lin Lan was still displeased.

"Hehe, you don't understand. This is a two-birds-with-one-stone plan. It avenges her slander and also spreads word, revealing my whereabouts."

"Husband, your reputation is already so bad, why deliberately reveal your location? Aren't you just asking for trouble?"

"I don't care about that. I've been separated from my mothers for over three months, and I miss them so much!" At this moment, my playful demeanor vanished, replaced by a deep longing for home. Although I had grown a lot in those three months, my longing for my family had only deepened.

"Husband, one day you will reunite with your mothers," Sister Wu and Sister Wu also tried to comfort me.

I remained silent, only cracking my whip and singing loudly: "A mother's thread in her hand, a traveler's clothes on his back. She sews them carefully before his departure, fearing his long absence. Who can say that a blade of grass can repay the warmth

of spring?" "Husband, I miss my father and mother so much too," Lin Lan cried, throwing herself into my arms.

This time, I comforted her, saying, "No rush, no rush. At our speed of five hundred li a day, you and your mother will be reunited in just a few days." These four horses were all thoroughbreds, capable of traveling a thousand li a day, each worth a fortune. Especially in these chaotic times of war, thoroughbreds were incredibly valuable. Of course, I wouldn't be foolish enough to spend money on them; otherwise, would I be using my martial arts skills as decorations for speculators?

Throughout the journey, I revealed my real name at every meal. Many martial arts figures, after learning of my battle with Yang Kexin, were even more afraid of me. The journey was surprisingly uneventful, with no one daring to provoke us.

Soon, we left the sphere of influence of the Northwest martial arts world and entered the Jiangnan region.

At the inn, I finally learned of Jiang Rushui's whereabouts.

It turned out that after I rescued her, Jiang Rushui had sent several minor martial arts sects to gather intelligence on me. Little did she know that I had been taken to Killer Valley by the assassin Iron Mask. Besides, I still didn't know the exact location of Killer Valley; even Wu Zetian had only arrived there by chance hundreds of years ago.

After being carried by the dinosaurs for a day and a night, how could we possibly distinguish east from west?

Although Jiang Rushui had tried to contact me privately, business was more important. The army of Prince Ning, Zhou Chenhao, joined forces with Jiang Rushui's army, and within a day, they had captured Wuchang. After Wuchang's fall, Jiangxi and Zhejiang provinces all submitted to Prince Ning, leaving only Lin'an, the capital of Zhejiang province, to fight desperately; the rest were all within Prince Ning's sphere of influence.

In just three months, half of the land south of the Yangtze River fell to Prince Ning. His fame spread far and wide. Three of the Eight Tiger Generals personally led an army of 150,000 to Wuchang to suppress him. After a bitter battle lasting half a month, they were finally forced to retreat by the heavy rains of July in the south. The armies of the Eight Tiger Generals were all fierce northern generals, but none of them knew how to swim. Exhausted from their long march, and further battered by the wind and rain, their 150,000 troops fought

Prince Ning's 100,000-strong army to a draw. Although both sides' strategists displayed great wisdom and skill, none revealed a single flaw. Ultimately, fate intervened; Prince Ning's 150,000 troops suffered heavy losses, with the remaining 100,000 escaping back to Anqing to regroup and recuperate, facing off against Wuchang.

Although war raged, the dynasty's legacy remained strong, its centuries-old foundation considerable. Those cities and towns untouched by war flourished even more, displaying a vibrant and prosperous atmosphere.

Finally, they arrived outside Suzhou. The Jiangnan water towns were indeed incomparable to the arid northwest. Although it was the autumnal equinox, the weather was still quite hot. Green trees and grasses lined the banks, and willows swayed gently. It was truly a scene of

breathtaking beauty: "A tall tree adorned with jade, ten thousand green silk ribbons hanging down. Who could have cut such delicate leaves? The February spring breeze is like scissors."

Although it was near the autumnal equinox, in Jiangnan it felt like springtime. The tender leaves and buds of the willows were clearly visible, a sight to behold.

The women all rushed to the front of the carriage to admire the beautiful scenery, chattering excitedly. Lin Lan, who hadn't seen her hometown for over a decade, was even more moved. Looking at the flowing river and swaying willows, she choked up, unable to utter a single word.

Everyone knew her tears were tears of joy, and they all congratulated her. I even joked, "I left home young and returned old, my accent unchanged but my nose hairs have thinned."

Lin Lan burst out laughing, tears streaming down her face, making her a mess of laughter and tears. She clenched her fists and started hitting me repeatedly. I threw left hooks, right hooks, drawing even more punches from the women, making me cry out for my parents and run away with my head in my hands…

Upon entering Suzhou, I saw bustling traffic, shops lining the streets, and vendors' shouts rising and falling. Some were particularly amusing; here are a few for the audience:

(Shoe shop): "Loss-price! All kinds of high-end leather shoes! Men wearing them will outshine Chow Yun-fat! Women wearing them will far surpass Maggie Cheung!"

Changming and Jin Dezi were loudly hawking their wares at a roadside stall.

Changming: Hey, take a look! This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity!

Jin Dezi: Stop for a moment, buy something and you'll make a profit.

Changming: Hey, whether you're from the south or the north.

Jin Dezi: Whether you're in a lawsuit or petitioning.

Changming: Whether you've been abroad or studied overseas.

Jin Dezi: Whether you've been sentenced or been re-educated.

Changming: Come and see, come and see, you'll regret it for life if you don't...

Then we heard a fruit vendor over there saying, "Three catties of apples and two catties of pears, after eating them all you're left with is a pile of peels; Zhang Fei buys a horse and Zhang Fei rides it, Guan Yu doesn't buy one and is just anxious."

We laughed heartily, and the women kept asking me who "Zhou Runfa" and "Zhang Manyu" were. I laughed and said, "Ask Xu Da!"

Driving along the road, amidst the amusing shouts, we unknowingly followed Lin Lan's directions and the car stopped in front of a large mansion. There were two large lions in front of the mansion, and a large plaque above the gate with two large characters: Lin Mansion. Before

the carriage had even come to a complete stop, Lin Lan jumped down in a hurry. Luckily, I caught her, or she would have definitely fallen. She ripped off her straw hat and began pounding on the tightly closed gates of the Lin residence with her small hands, crying out, "Father, Mother, your daughter is back..."

My heart ached at the sight, so I quickly steadied my horse and rushed to her side, saying, "Sister Lan, don't worry, we're home."

Lin Lan ignored me, continuing to cry and pound on the gates. The gate creaked open a crack, and an old man's head peeked out. Upon seeing him, Lin Lan exclaimed with joy, "Old Zhang, it's me! It's Lanlan!"

Old Zhang, his eyesight failing, only recognized Lin Lan's face as he drew closer, and exclaimed in surprise, "Ah, Second Miss, is it you? Second Miss has really returned?"

Lin Lan grasped Old Zhang's rough hands, saying, "Old Zhang, it's me, your Second Miss, Lanlan. Fifteen years have passed, and I've finally returned."

Old Zhang was finally certain that the person before him was indeed the Second Miss. Although fifteen years had passed and the Second Miss's appearance had changed drastically, her familiar expression and manner of speaking remained unchanged. He suddenly knelt down, bursting into tears, and said, "Second Miss, you're too late..."

Lin Lan's heart skipped a beat, and she immediately sensed something was wrong; a sense of foreboding washed over her. She hurriedly said, "Old Zhang, what's wrong? Get up and speak!" She tried to pull him up.

Old Zhang refused to get up, crying, "Miss, you're too late. Master and Madam passed away three years ago..."

"What? Old Zhang, say it again!" Lin Lan was struck dumb, her mind reeling.

"Master...Madam...three years ago...hearing that the eldest daughter-in-law had passed away, and remembering the disappearance of the two young ladies, she was overcome with grief and sorrow, and soon...she passed away." Old Zhang choked out these two sentences.

Lin Lan was stunned. She shoved Old Zhang aside and stumbled into the house. White cloth covered the entire hall, with two long strips hanging down to either side of the door. It was a mourning hall.

Candles illuminated the hall, and two memorial tablets sat side-by-side, inscribed: "The Spirit Tablet of Father Lin Changjiang," and "The Spirit Tablet of Mother Fang Rong."

Lin Lan rushed to the tablets, and upon seeing the names, her vision blurred. She collapsed to her knees, her heart-wrenching sobs

echoing through the air. The normally gentle Lin Lan was surprisingly emotional; her cries were many times louder than her usual voice.

I knelt down beside her. Although I had never met my in-laws, I knew the pain of losing parents. I wept with Lin Lan, and behind me, Sister Wu and Sister Wu also slowly knelt…

Outside Suzhou, at the foot of Hanshan Temple, before a new grave.

I carried the unconscious Lin Lan and led the women towards the carriage.

It turned out that Lin Lan's ancestor had once held the title of Marquis, and by the time of Lin Lan's brother, Lin Ruhai, five generations had passed. Initially, the title was only inherited for three generations, but due to the current emperor's great favor and virtue, surpassing previous generations, an additional favor was bestowed, allowing Ruhai's father to inherit the title for another generation; Ruhai himself rose through the ranks through the imperial examinations. Although a family of high status, they were also a family of scholars.

Unfortunately, the Lin family had few branches and descendants; although there were several branches, they were all distant relatives of Ruhai, with no direct direct descendants.

Thus, Lin Lan had no close relatives left in Suzhou. She had intended to go to Guangling to find her brother, Lin Ruhai, but Old Zhang said that after sending his only daughter to her maternal grandmother's house, Lin Ruhai became depressed and soon died in Guangling from longing for his wife. His grave wasn't even in Suzhou; he was simply buried hastily in Guangling.

Lin Lan was overcome with grief upon hearing this, but the thought that she still had a niece offered some solace.

She then asked Old Zhang what her brother's daughter's name was and where her wife lived.

Old Zhang was old and his memory wasn't good; he only remembered that her nickname was Yu'er, and that she had been frail and sickly since childhood, taking medicine from the time she could eat solid food. He still hadn't told her that her father was dead, fearing it would add to her pain and illness.

Lin Lan was a reserved woman, and for a moment she was at a loss. Her parents and brothers were gone, leaving only her sister and niece in the world. Her sister was now in Killer's Valley, bored but at least healthy enough to live a long and peaceful life.

Her niece, however, was frail and sickly; she feared that if she didn't see her again soon, they would be separated by death.

I immediately said, "Let's go to Jinling!"

From the grateful look in Lin Lan's eyes, I knew how much my suggestion appealed to her.

Chapter Ninety-Four: Aunt Xue

Let me tell you, I led the women towards Jinling. The journey was arduous, and we arrived in Yingtian Prefecture in no time.

Although Yingtian Prefecture wasn't as bustling as Suzhou, it was still a sizable prefecture. However, the streets were much less crowded than in Suzhou, and there weren't as many scenic gardens to see.

As I was driving the carriage, I suddenly saw a crowd gathering ahead, making a racket, and quickly forming a large throng. I stopped the carriage by the roadside, gave some instructions to the women, and went to see what was going on. When

the crowd saw a nine-foot-tall man, a head or two taller than themselves, and seeing my bulging muscles, they all readily made way for me. I easily reached the center of the commotion.

Two groups stood in the arena. One group consisted of a dozen or twenty people, led by a wicked young master who brandished a folding fan, his face radiating arrogance and imperiousness. His clothes were incredibly expensive, with a thick gold necklace around his neck and two gold bracelets, each thicker than a finger, gleaming on his wrists. He appeared to be only in his early twenties, yet looked every bit the nouveau riche, directing his servants to swarm and beat two men from the other group to a pulp.

The two were clearly master and servant; one was a young man in white, handsome with delicate features, but somewhat effeminate, and utterly weak—hardly a man, and could only lie on the ground clutching his head in the face of his wicked servants.

I approached and saw that the young master's servants had thoroughly thrashed the young man in white, leaving him in excruciating pain. The young master, caught in a vicious cycle, muttered, "Doesn't he even know who in Yingtian Prefecture doesn't know the name of Xue Pan, the eldest son of the Xue family? How dare he try to steal my woman?"

As he spoke, I saw a man in his thirties or forties grabbing a girl of about thirteen or fourteen, the girl's face streaked with tears, clearly terrified by the scene.

Though I'm not a good person, I couldn't stand such bullying and ganging up on the young. I roared, "Stop!"

The thunderous shout startled everyone present, including Xue Pan, who was also startled. No one had ever dared to challenge such a powerful figure before.

Looking up, everyone saw a nine-foot-tall, strong man, handsome enough to be called a tiger. However, his eyes were wide open, radiating a menacing aura, incredibly fierce—even the mighty Zhang Fei of the Three Kingdoms period couldn't compare.

Xue Pan was a sociable man who always enjoyed making friends with a bunch of shady characters. Now that he saw such a powerful and imposing person in the world, he thought that if they became friends, they would certainly make a great impression when walking together.

His initial anger, startled, vanished. He walked up to me and said, "This young master is handsome and distinguished. I, Xue, have always enjoyed associating with extraordinary people and eccentrics of the martial world. May I ask your esteemed name?"

I replied rudely, "Hmph, I, Xu, never associate with scoundrels."

Xue Pan, enraged by my words, completely lost his previous composure and roared, "Hmph, think of all the people in Yingtian Prefecture who want to flatter me but can't get the chance! It's your great fortune to befriend you, a blessing from your ancestors. Since you refuse to listen to reason, don't blame me for being impolite. Men, attack! Beat this guy into meat buns and feed him to the dogs!"

Xue Pan waved his folding fan, and the group of servants who had beaten the white-robed young master half to death rushed forward. In their eyes, although I was tall and strong, I was no match for their numbers; even a hero can't overcome a multitude of people. My side had a dozen or twenty men, all skilled fighters. With so many hands, we were like ants trying to eat an elephant!

The group swarmed forward like a swarm of bees, while Xue Pan retreated ten steps, unfolding his folding fan and shaking his head, ready to enjoy the next spectacle.

I was furious. "I never imagined there were so many villains in this world, not only in the martial arts world, but also among ordinary people! Since you like beating people, fine, today I, Xu, will fight you

to my heart's content!" In broad daylight, a group of people attacking me alone—if I were just an ordinary person, wouldn't I have been beaten to death long ago? I immediately forgot to use my inner energy, relying solely on my powerful physique to fight these lackeys.

These scoundrels, though arrogant and domineering, did have some martial arts skills. Unfortunately for them, they had met me, Xu Zhengqi. Even without using my inner strength, my physical strength could still reach several thousand pounds. I unleashed a barrage of punches and kicks. Fists rained down on me, but I didn't dodge. I met each punch head-on, thud after thud. The first few lackeys were sent sprawling, fists clenched.

A few more, using leg techniques, fell headfirst to the ground, clutching their legs and groaning in pain. In

the blink of an eye, nearly twenty thugs were on the ground, their cries of pain echoing through the air.

Xue Pan was so terrified he wet himself. He had never seen such a fierce person before. His twenty servants were among the best in Yingtian Prefecture. Were all the martial artists really this powerful? The first few had been beaten black and blue!

Little did he know that while he himself was wicked, his group of servants were even more so. In order to become the personal servants of the eldest son of the Xue family, they conspired to recruit a few so-called "martial arts masters" to put on a show, which made the eldest son of the Xue family so happy that he regarded his group of twenty hooligans as peerless masters.

To my surprise, the expert was utterly defeated by this burly man. Unable to withstand the blow, he watched the giant shadow slowly approach, his legs trembling uncontrollably, a stench of urine emanating from his crotch.

I kicked him to the ground, saying, "Hmph, Young Master Xue, how does that kick feel? Did you ever know the pain of the one you hit?"

Xue Pan, kicked in the stomach, his pale face contorted in pain, his stomach churning as if he'd been through a storm. Having never been slapped before, Xue Pan had never experienced such agony. He immediately held his breath, fainting.

I cursed him as a "coward," ignoring him completely, and then tried to find the white-robed master and servant. But my good intentions were met with no reward; the two had vanished without a trace, perhaps fearing my involvement and fleeing.

Xue Pan and his servants writhed on the ground in pain, unable to get up for a long time. I walked over to the little girl and said to the man in his thirties or forties, "Why haven't you released that woman yet?"

The man stammered, "She...she's my...my daughter. Who I sell her to is none of your business."

Seeing how afraid the little girl was of him, I didn't believe his lies. What kind of people aren't there these days? Maybe he's a human trafficker?

I punched him, sending him sprawling. "You dare lie to your grandfather! Tell me the truth now, or my fists won't discriminate!"

I shielded the little girl and glared at the man, shouting, "Have mercy, good sir! I'll confess, I'll confess everything!"

"Then hurry up and talk, or you don't want another punch?"

"Good sir, I'll tell you the truth. I'm a human trafficker, and I've been doing this for decades. I kidnapped this little girl when she was three or four years old. Her family was originally wealthy, and we knew she would be quite beautiful when she grew up. So, I raised her until she was thirteen or fourteen, intending to sell her to earn some money for food, so that my ten years of raising her wouldn't have been in vain. I

had already sold her to that young master Feng, but I was too greedy and sold her to young master Xue today. That led to the fierce fight just now." "

How dare you say that? You've ruined a perfectly good family, tearing them apart, and they might even die. Besides, there are few people in the world as cunning, treacherous, and greedy as you. You harm others for your own benefit, exchanging the happiness of another family for your own momentary enjoyment, and now you're a troublemaker. Even if the King of Hell spares you, I won't!"

With a final roar, I threw a punch, imbued with dragon power, a golden dragon flying from my hand, splattering the trafficker's brains.

I shouted, my voice carrying for miles: "Listen up, everyone! Anyone who acts as a trafficker, oppressing the people, don't fall into my hands, Xu Zhengqi's hands! Otherwise, I will tear them apart, and even the King of Hell won't be able to find their complete corpse!"

These words reached the ears of everyone in the city, and hundreds of thousands of people were astonished. Those who hadn't seen me thought a god had descended to warn the wicked and persuade people to do good.

Those who saw me in the arena trembled with fear at my towering, imposing figure, swift movements, and ruthless methods. Some of the more timid had already knelt before me. My towering stature, like a messenger from hell, was awe-inspiring, and I witnessed a dragon fly from my hand, tearing the villains to pieces.

Seeing someone rush to kowtow and worship, their legs went weak, and they prostrated themselves before me, worshipping me as a god.

My roar was interpreted by the ignorant masses as divine wrath, and many began burning incense and kowtowing at home. Even those who had committed evil deeds, some with weak constitutions, or those fearing hell due to their impending death, also worshipped Buddha. For a time, the city was teeming with worshippers. For decades afterward, the security of Yingtian Prefecture was exceptionally good. Everyone took pride in doing good deeds, and evil people disappeared from Yingtian Prefecture, to the point where doors were left unlocked at night—something I had never predicted.

But to those in the martial world, this sounded entirely different.

"What?! Xu Zhengqi, the nine-foot-tall lecherous demon!"

"The lecherous demon has come to Yingtian Prefecture?"

"Who would have thought this lecherous thief would dare to cry 'stop thief!'

Let's do good and eliminate evil!" Suddenly, everyone in Yingtian's martial world was on edge. Those who knew my background hurriedly ran around, hiding their own women and the women of their relatives and friends. Some even hid their elderly mothers, nearing their graves, in closets.

Xue Pan, who had just recovered a little, woke up in pain to find myself displaying my divine power, brutally killing the traffickers. A chill ran through him, and he fainted again.

The little girl was already in my arms and hadn't seen the bloody scene, but she had been terrified of traffickers since childhood and was afraid of people. Now, being held by a giant, she was too scared to move, hearing my loud roar, and wondered, "Could this man be a good person?"

I ignored these ignorant people, letting them kneel and worship, and took the little girl back to the carriage. We drove out of the city towards Jinling. The soldiers at the city gate were flustered by my shout earlier. They didn't know what had happened, but they heard that there was a disturbance in the city, so they hurriedly summoned some men and rushed into the city, just passing by my carriage.

Leaving aside Xu Zhengqi's tedious journey, let's talk about Young Master Xue here.

A group of soldiers saw a pile of fallen men and many people still kneeling there. The soldiers first took Young Master Xue back to the Xue residence before dispersing the crowd.

Meanwhile, the young master Xue had just been carried to the mansion when he woke up, babbling incoherently, "Mother, sister, let's run! I've offended a demon from hell. If we don't escape Yingtian Prefecture quickly, I'm afraid I'll lose my life sooner or later. Mother, sister..."

The servants in the mansion were at a loss, and anyone who tried to persuade him was beaten back by Xue Pan.

"Insolence!" A furious shout came from the hall, and a graceful and noblewoman of about forty years old walked out. Although her phoenix eyes were angry, they also held a kind look. Although she was not young, she was born into a wealthy family and knew how to take care of herself. Her skin still looked fair, tender, and smooth. Her oval face was somewhat loose, but she still retained some of her youthful beauty.

Moreover, she had a full and high bottom, but her chest was flat like an airport runway, completely disproportionate. Fortunately, she was quite beautiful in her youth, and even at around forty years old, she still had a lot of charm, like a woman past her prime.

It turned out she was the head of the Xue family, Xue Pan's mother, Madam Xue! Her original surname was Wang, and she was the younger sister of Prince Teng, the military governor of the capital. Her husband had been dead for many years, and she now lived as a widow at home, with a son and a daughter.

She also had a daughter, two years younger than Xue Pan, whose childhood name was Baochai. She was beautiful and graceful. When her father was alive, he doted on this girl and made her study and learn to read and write, surpassing her brother by ten times. After her father's death, seeing that her brother could not be close to their mother, she no longer focused on studying and writing, but instead devoted herself to needlework and household management, so as to share her mother's burdens.

Madam Xue roared, "Insolence! My son, you're supposed to be a merchant and official, how can you be so dissolute and spout such nonsense?"

Xue Pan, ignoring the pain, collapsed at his mother's feet, clutching her legs and crying, "Mother, Mother, this is terrible! I've offended the King of Hell! Let's flee to Jinling!"

Madam Xue cursed him repeatedly, but Xue Pan was already delirious, unable to speak coherently, only insisting on fleeing.

Finally, she grabbed an injured servant, and upon questioning him, exclaimed in shock, "Could it be that the immortal's admonition was spoken by the man who beat my son?"

Fortunately, the servant was still sane, and hurriedly confirmed it, recounting the events clearly, especially his dramatic and mystical account of how Madam Xue had angrily killed the trafficker.

Madam Xue fearfully exclaimed, "Such a thing? Er Gouzi, are you just making this up?"

Er Gouzi swore an oath to the heavens that if he uttered even half a lie,

he would surely die a horrible death. Xue Pan chimed in, "Mother, Er Gouzi didn't say a single wrong word. Let's run for our lives." Madam Xue, however, was concerned about his injuries first, saying, "My son, let's heal our wounds first."

Xue Pan stubbornly refused, saying, "Mother, if we need to heal, let's go to Aunt's house. There are only three of us in the family, and I'm afraid. Besides, I've offended that living devil here. Sooner or later, he'll run into me again, and I'll be dead."

Madam Xue couldn't argue with him, and besides, she herself was somewhat afraid. Although she was from a very wealthy family, richer than a country, there were only three of them in Yingtian Prefecture. Moreover, Xu Zhengqi was neither human nor ghost, neither god nor spirit, yet possessed unfathomable abilities. With such abilities, he must be a terrestrial immortal, or perhaps even a deity descended to earth, like the Eight Immortals, playing among mortals, punishing evil and promoting good.

In ancient times, people were always superstitious, and Madam Xue was also a frequent worshipper of Buddha. She was eventually moved by Xue Pan's words and

said angrily, "I told you not to do evil deeds! There are gods watching over you. If you had known this would happen, why did you do it in the first place?"

Xue Pan cried, "Mother, I know I was wrong. From now on, I will definitely abandon evil and do good, change my ways, and start anew. But it's best to leave Yingtian Prefecture as soon as possible."

Madam Xue couldn't persuade him otherwise, saying, "Since your husband died, I've been powerless to control you, letting you run wild outside. Every morning, noon, and evening, I burn incense and pray to Buddha, asking the Bodhisattva to protect you. Indeed, Heaven has eyes; now it's a case of good and evil being rewarded in the end. So be it."

Madam Xue sighed, lamenting her fate—becoming a widow before thirty, and now raising a son who was less filial than a daughter.

Xue Pan persisted, finally making Madam Xue make a painful decision, reluctantly abandoning the Yingtian Prefecture's assets and entrusting them to servants.

Without a word, he ordered his family to pack their valuables and prepare several fine horses. Mother and children rode in three carriages, traveling day and night towards Jinling. Little did they know that Xu Zhengqi was also heading to Jinling, but the Xue family, due to Xue Pan's insistence, had their horses and servants rotated, arriving in Jinling five or six days earlier than Xu Zhengqi.

Truly, fate brings enemies together. To find out what happens next, please read the next chapter.

Chapter Ninety-Five: Meeting Feng Yu

. The Xue family, mother and two children, traveled day and night, arriving at the Rongguo Mansion in Jinling before Xu Zhengqi. Reunions with family inevitably involve reminiscing and catching up, but we'll leave that for later.

Jinling was once the capital of the founding emperor of this dynasty, Zhou Yuanzhang, who renamed it Nanjing. However, after the third emperor seized the throne, the capital was moved to Pingjing in the north.

Despite this, Nanjing remained the "secondary capital," but was renamed Jinling again, retaining the imperial palace and the five ministries, six departments, and the Censorate, among other government offices.

Jinling was the ancient capital of six dynasties, a place of prosperity and splendor for thousands of years, with famous towers everywhere, constant singing and dancing, and nightly revelry. If Suzhou was a pure, natural, unadorned young girl, then Jinling was a heavily made-up noblewoman.

After bringing the little girl to the carriage, the women surrounded her, asking about her well-being and showing concern. Although the little girl was no longer young, she couldn't remember anything from her childhood, only that she had been beaten and scolded by human traffickers since she was a child, and therefore dared not speak much to strangers.

Seeing how pitiful the girl was, the women's maternal instincts were aroused, and they cursed the human traffickers. When they heard that I had killed them, they clapped and laughed, saying it was a great relief.

A little girl joined the group of women, and the women became even more talkative. In less than half a day, the little girl's reserved nature had vanished. Upon seeing the true faces of Sister Wu, Sister Wu, and the two girls, Ying Shi, she screamed in terror, yet still managed to touch them a couple of times.

Finally, Sister Wu's lively nature dispelled her fear, and because I had rescued her from her predicament, she became happy.

After she washed up, I finally understood why Xue Pan and the man surnamed Feng had fought so fiercely over her.

She had short hair reaching her ears, delicate features, and a pair of large, bright eyes on her oval face that seemed full of spirit. She appeared thin and frail, but from my casual glances, I noticed her pert buttocks and her small breasts, like fledglings just beginning to grow. Previously, she had often been beaten and abused by human traffickers, never knowing when to eat or sleep. After several days of good food and sleep in the carriage, she was full of energy, free of worries, and with several older sisters by her side, her body was gradually becoming plump. She

still addressed me softly as "Young Master," and became shy when we met. As long as I wasn't around, she could happily and peacefully playfully banter with Lin Lan and the others. She possessed a natural charm and an innocent purity, which greatly pleased Empress Wu Zetian.

In just a few days, as we approached Jinling, the little girl had already gained weight compared to when we first met, her full and petite figure evident. Although she wasn't as unusually voluptuous as Jiang Shaling, one could imagine that she would grow into a stunning beauty.

A beauty like her deserves a name, so I decided to give the little girl a name. Seeing her hair tied in pigtails and smelling the pure, fragrant scent of a maiden emanating from her, she said, "You shall be called 'Xiangling'."

Lin Lan had been treating her like her own daughter for the past few days, sharing her food and sleeping in the same bed, and had been insisting on giving her a name. Hearing me say, "Xiangling, Xiangling, what a beautiful name!"

Lin Lan hugged Xiangling tightly, saying, "Xiangling, from now on you will take my surname, Lin. From this day forward, you are Lin Xiangling."

Xiangling softly murmured, "Lin Xiangling, Lin Xiangling..." Suddenly, she buried her head in Lin Lan's arms and cried, "Waaah—Godmother, your daughter has a name now, I am called Lin Xiangling...waaah..."

Lin Lan had long suffered the pain of losing loved ones, and her trip to Jinling was solely to fulfill her family's wish. Now, having met Lin Xiangling, she had already recognized her as her goddaughter a few days prior. Tears welled in her eyes as she patted Xiangling's shoulder, comforting her, "My dear daughter, don't cry. You are my first daughter, and I will treat you like my own daughter from now on." The

other women also shed tears of emotion. Seeing the somber atmosphere in the car, I teased Lin Xiangling, "Xiangling, my dear daughter, you wouldn't call me godfather even when you died a few days ago, but now you're going to call me 'father' directly."

Xiangling, with her girlish nature, stopped crying after my teasing and said to Lin Lan in a coquettish tone, "Mother, look at him... he's making fun of his daughter." Naturally innocent and incredibly cute, especially her pretty face, tear-streaked, was somewhat similar to Lin Lan's when she drowned herself, stirring up a few ripples in my heart.

Watching from the side, Sister Wu joined in the fun, saying, "Xiangling, you should call him 'little brother.'"

Xiangling tilted her head, puzzled, "Isn't he our husband? He's so tall, why should I call him 'little brother'?"

"Hmph, he's actually a lecher..." Sister Wu was a straightforward person, and immediately spilled all my secrets, even saying things that only young women would say to the naive Lin Xiangling.

Xiangling, however, was a good girl, unaware of everything, but she asked questions whenever she didn't understand, such as: what is the bridal chamber, what is a man's penis, what is a lecher, and what is a lecherous demon?

Although Sister Wu was outspoken, she was still a young woman, and although she had already lost her virginity, she was still a bit shy. Xiangling's questions gave her a headache, and finally, she used my martial arts skills to shut her up.

Upon hearing that I knew martial arts, Lin Xiangling didn't ask me anything else, only asking, "Can you fly?" Lin Lan chuckled and said, "He? He's even more powerful than the birds in the sky."

Lin Xiangling immediately perked up, lingeringly coming to my side and whispering, "You...can you take me flying in the sky?"

Seeing she was hooked, I said, "No problem, but my dear daughter, if you call me 'Daddy,' I'll go with you."

Xiangling fidgeted, tugging at her clothes without speaking. The other girls all blamed me for bullying her, and I was about to forgive her when Xiangling spoke up: "Alright, I'll call...Little Brother..."

After saying that, I rushed into Lin Lan's arms like a whirlwind. I was stunned for a moment before I reacted, while the other women were already laughing hysterically. I was so angry that I bared my teeth and brandished my claws, pouncing on Xiang Ling like a villain. Xiang Ling had never learned martial arts, but she was very slippery. She used Lin Lan's body to block me, saying repeatedly, "Mother, Mother, my brother is bullying me."

Lin Lan even chimed in, "Don't be afraid, my good daughter. With your mother here, no matter what your eldest son does, he won't dare to do anything to you."

I was so angry that my teeth itched. I said, "You lecherous Lan, let's see how I deal with you." My two claws reached straight for her chest, but Lin Lan slapped them hard, shouting, "You lecherous devil, your daughter is still here!"

Xiang Ling, however, stood aside... She shouted, "Now I finally know what a lecherous thief is!"

This made my old face flush red. I glared at her fiercely, then pounced on her again, saying, "My dear daughter, how dare you speak of your father like that! I'll catch you and give you a good spanking!"

Xiangling, like a butterfly, flitted left and right among the beauties. The carriage was nothing like a room; my large frame was useless, and since I was just teasing her, the carriage was filled with laughter...

Soon we entered Jinling City. A casual inquiry on the street asked, "Where is the Rongguo Mansion?" The first person to know pointed to a cluster of courtyards and houses in the distance, saying, "There's a Ningrong Street there; the Ningguo Mansion and the Rongguo Mansion are on that street." It

was the first time the women and I had ever been to Jinling. This city was probably more than twice the size of Suzhou. Streets and alleys were everywhere, the people bustling about, whispering amongst themselves, a constant flow of carriages and horses, a lively scene of people coming and going.

The street was lined with vendors selling kites, candied hawthorns, and clay figurines. Their calls made Lin Xiangling's eyes water, but she didn't ask Lin Lan for anything, only gazing longingly.

Lin Lan sat beside her as I drove around, while Wu Zetian and her two daughters peered out the window at the street scene.

"Xiangling, my daughter, would you like some candied hawthorns?" Lin Lan asked, seeing through her thoughts.

Xiangling sensibly shook her head. Lin Lan asked again, "Don't you want some?"

Xiangling lowered her head for a long while before murmuring, "Mother, I just really want some."

Seeing that she had spoken her mind, Lin Lan happily said, "If you want some, just say so. Your brother has plenty of money anyway." She then gave me a sidelong glance, clearly displeased with my several thousand taels of silver of dubious origin.

I thought, "Isn't this going to be another joke?" I hurriedly called out, "Hey, you selling candied hawthorns—bring me a few!" The servant boy quickly brought out a stick of candied hawthorns and approached the carriage, saying, "Sir, how many would you like?"

I tossed him a silver ingot and said, "Don't bother with business today, I'll take them all. Here you go."

The servant boy happily took the silver ingot and handed me a stick of candied hawthorns. Lin Xiangling's mouth gaped open in surprise, looking incredibly tempting. She stammered, "You, you're so rich! I only wanted to buy one to try!"

I laughed, "How could that be? If our lovely Xiangling wants to eat, I can let you eat your fill. Besides, the Wu sisters have never tried it either; let's send some to them too."

Lin Xiangling laboriously took the large skewer of basil from me and carried it into the carriage. Lin Lan feigned anger, saying, "How can you spend money so extravagantly? Even though this money comes easily, you should still be careful to save, shouldn't you?"

I said, "What's the point of saving the money of the rich and heartless? It's better to let the poor people benefit. And I'll benefit too."

Lin Lan wasn't good with words and couldn't argue with me, so she didn't bother with me anymore and got into the carriage.

After traveling for another half day, we arrived at Ningrong Street. Suddenly, we saw two large stone lions crouching on the north side of the street, three large gates with animal head decorations, and a dozen or so people in splendid attire sitting in front of the gates. The main gate was closed; only the east and west side gates saw people coming and going. Above the main gate was a plaque with the five large characters "Imperial Construction of Ningguo Mansion." I

had only heard that the Ning and Rong mansions were related, but I didn't know much about it and only glanced at it casually.

Continuing west, not far away, was another three-bay gate—the Rongguo Mansion. There were about ten servants in front of it.

I stopped my horse and walked towards a young gatekeeper, saying, "Young man, could you please go and announce that your master's granddaughter, Miss Lin's aunt, has come to visit from Suzhou?"

The gatekeepers were worldly-wise; seeing that although I was tall and strong, I was dressed in fine clothes, and hearing that I was a relative of Miss Lin, they dared not delay us and hurriedly went inside to announce my arrival.

Leaving aside Xu Zhengqi and the others waiting outside, the young lady of the Lin family, accompanied by several maids, was admiring the pear blossoms in the courtyard. Seeing the pear blossoms falling like snow, she felt a deep empathy and pity for her own fate. Her mother had died long ago, and her grandparents had also passed away, leaving her alone and dependent on others. She was bound to feel depressed every few days

. Now, a Xue woman named Baochai had arrived, whose beauty was no less than hers, and who was well-liked and socially adept. In just a few days, she had become extremely harmonious with everyone in the Rongguo Mansion. Meanwhile, she herself had been in the mansion for two years, and everyone avoided her. The only person she could talk to, besides her own maids, was her brother Bao.

But now, with Xue Baochai's arrival, her brother Bao was constantly running to her, completely wasting all her good intentions towards him.

Just as she was grieving, a gatekeeper came to report that a burly man, nine feet tall and strong, had arrived in a carriage, saying that her aunt had come to visit her.

Miss Lin was puzzled. Her father had said that she originally had two aunts, but they had disappeared fifteen years ago, their fate unknown. Could it really be her aunt coming to find her?

But then she thought, how could an aunt who had been missing for over a decade find her in the Rongguo Mansion? In these chaotic times, could it be some swindler trying to scam her? Could there really be such a bold swindler who dared to come to the Rongguo Mansion to cheat people?

For a moment, Miss Lin was filled with anxiety and uncertainty, unable to make up her mind. Finally, she took a maid, got into the sedan chair, and went with the gatekeeper to see for herself.

I had been waiting outside for a full quarter of an hour, growing quite impatient. I hadn't expected waiting to be so unpleasant. Just as I was about to urge them on, a small sedan chair was carried out from the side gate. A maid gently lifted the door, and a stunningly beautiful woman stepped out.

She swayed her slender waist and slowly walked towards us. Even from a distance, I could clearly see her features. She appeared to be about fifteen or sixteen years old, only about 1.6 meters tall, and bore a resemblance to Lin Lan, but was three or four parts more beautiful. A closer look revealed her unique features:

two arched eyebrows, seemingly frowning yet not frowning, and a pair of eyes, seemingly joyful yet not joyful, brimming with emotion. A hint of sorrow lingered on her cheeks, and a delicate frailty pervaded her being. Tears glistened in her eyes, and her breath was soft and gentle. In stillness, she was like a beautiful flower reflected in water; in motion, she was like a willow swaying in the breeze. Her heart possessed more wisdom than Bi Gan, and her illness surpassed even that of Xi Shi.

Dressed in snow-white robes, she resembled a fairy descended to earth. Her expression was strikingly similar to that of Xi Shi, though more delicate. This woman possessed unparalleled beauty and rare charm; truly, "Such a beauty should only exist in heaven, how often can one see her on earth!"

This young woman's beauty rivaled that of the famous Yu'er, only lacking Yu'er's noble air, but possessing instead a captivatingly pitiful quality.

At this moment, Lin Lan, accompanied by Xiang Ling, removed her veil and stepped down from the carriage to stand beside me. Upon seeing the young woman, an inexplicable sense of familiarity and closeness arose within me. Unable to suppress the surging emotions in my heart, I rushed to the young woman, embracing her tightly, saying, "Yu'er, is that you? I'm your aunt..." I was already sobbing uncontrollably.

Miss Lin was also deeply moved, instinctively believing that the familiar woman, around thirty years old, was her aunt. She stammered, "You...you really are my aunt?"

"Yu'er, I am your aunt! Fifteen years ago..." Lin Lan, disregarding their surroundings, immediately recounted to Daiyu how she had been kidnapped and rescued by me.

Upon hearing this, Lin Daiyu, feeling sorrow for her aunt's far more tragic past, also broke down in tears. The two of them wept bitterly in front of the Rongguo Mansion.

Soon a large crowd gathered, but seeing me as the gatekeeper, no one dared to disturb them.

Little did they know, the news of the aunt and niece weeping at the gate had already reached the Rong family's steward. A moment later, a silvery woman's voice rang out from inside the mansion: "Oh, I'm late! May I ask whose distinguished guest this is?" Before the words were finished, a group of wives and maids escorted a young woman out through a side gate.

This woman's attire differed from the other girls; her clothes were dazzling and splendid, like a goddess or fairy: She wore a gold-threaded, eight-treasure, pearl-encrusted hairpin, a five-phoenix, pearl-dangling hairpin, a red-gold, dragon-patterned necklace, a pea-green palace sash, and a double-flowered, rose-patterned pendant. She wore a narrow-sleeved, crimson satin jacket embroidered with gold butterflies and flowers, over which was a five-colored, carved silk, dark blue, silver-fox fur-lined coat, and a jade-green, flower-sprinkled crepe skirt. She had almond-shaped eyes, arched eyebrows, a slender figure, and a captivating physique. Her

face held a gentle, yet authoritative air, and her smile preceded her words. I estimated the woman to be about twenty-two or twenty-three years old. She possessed a dignified face and naturally exuded the air of a ruler. I never imagined that the head steward of the Rongguo Mansion would be such a stunning beauty. Her looks were extraordinary, only slightly less than Lin Daiyu's, lacking that pitiful charm. At first glance, I knew she was a shrewd, ambitious, and extraordinary woman.

I saw a glimpse of Wu Zetian in her youth.

Lin Daiyu, upon hearing the young woman speak, calmly took Lin Lan's hand and said, "Sister-in-law Feng, this is my long-lost aunt. She has come to find me today. She couldn't help but cry a few tears."

Sister-in-law Feng, named Wang Xifeng, glanced at Lin Lan a few times, but her attention was mostly on me. I thought to myself, "I've never seen such a powerful figure in this world before."

It wasn't appropriate for a woman to casually greet a man, so she went to Lin Lan and Lin Daiyu and said, "Oh, what a sight to behold! Look at you two, aunt and niece, you're practically identical. Congratulations, sister!" She then turned to Lin Lan and said, "My sister has had such a hard life. I never imagined that someone would finally come to visit her. Please, Madam, take good care of her in the future."

Lin Lan was immediately displeased. Wasn't Wang Xifeng implying that Lin Daiyu was a helpless, orphaned girl who had been bullied by everyone? It seemed Lin Daiyu wasn't doing well here, and the Rongguo Mansion steward clearly disliked her.

Lin Lan, not one to be rude, curtsied and said, "Thank you for your concern, Miss Feng. Although this is my first meeting with Daiyu, she's my only niece in the world. How could I not cherish her like a precious gem?" Wang Xifeng,

having met with a rebuff, secretly thought that Daiyu's aunt was not easy to deal with. Quickly changing the subject, she asked what she cared about most: "Madam Lin, who is this young master?"

Lin Lan exclaimed "Oh dear!" and pulled Lin Daiyu to me, saying, "Yu'er, look at your aunt's memory, I almost forgot to introduce you. He is the great hero who saved me from this hellhole, my husband, your uncle, surnamed Xu, named Zhengqi."

Although Jinling City is large, it has many soldiers and generals, and a large garrison. In such a bustling city, there are not many martial arts figures, and the public security is more than twice as good as other places. The people in the Rong Mansion mostly live in secluded mansions and usually only talk about the private affairs of wealthy families. They would never talk about strange tales of the martial arts world. Therefore, when Lin Lan mentioned my name, no one present knew that I was the infamous Nine-Foot Lecher.

Lin Daiyu was shocked and thought to herself, "This Mr. Xu looks to be no more than twenty years old. How come he is married to my aunt who is thirty?" Could it be true, as the book says, "This humble woman has nothing to repay you with but her body"?

Wu Xifeng's eyes gleamed with a strange light. Since leaving the house, most of her attention had been on me, drawn to my unusually strong muscles, which made her legs weak and her mind wander. Hearing from Lin Lan that he was Daiyu's uncle, she became even more convinced that the tall young man before her was a man of courage and integrity. He was hundreds of times better than the frivolous, pretty young men she usually saw; this was a real man.

Lin Daiyu bowed to me and said, "Yu'er greets Uncle." It was the first time she had addressed a young man as an elder, and her face was slightly flushed, which only added to her beauty.

I was amazed by her beauty, but said naturally, "Yu'er, why be so polite? I'm only a few years older than you. There's no need to keep calling me 'Uncle' all the time. Just call me 'Big Brother,' it'll seem much more intimate."

Lin Daiyu thought to herself, "This uncle-in-law is just like Brother Bao! He doesn't care about etiquette or seniority either.

" Just as she was at a loss, Lin Lan smoothed things over, saying, "Don't listen to his nonsense. Your uncle-in-law is a江湖人 (jianghu person, a person of the martial arts world), he doesn't follow the etiquette and rules of our family."

Both Lin Daiyu and Wang Xifeng sighed inwardly, "So that's how it is." However, their thoughts were worlds apart. Lin Daiyu thought, "Young Master Xu is a martial arts person, no wonder he was able to rescue my aunt from that hellhole, and he doesn't mind my aunt's age, marrying her as his wife. My aunt has truly turned her luck around, she's finally overcome all her suffering."

Wang Xifeng, however, had another thought: "I've heard that江湖 (jianghu, the martial arts world) figures are always unconventional and disregard etiquette. If I want to spend time with him… with my looks… let's see if I can use a few tricks and make him come to me willingly."

In truth, their little schemes couldn't escape my discerning eyes, which are especially adept at spotting women. The moment Wang Xifeng appeared, I could tell she was a cunning and beautiful femme fatale. The moment she became aroused, my dragon power sensed her lust, and with a little subtle provocation, she was already completely dazed. This woman was clearly a woman with a very strong sex drive; her husband must be a weakling who couldn't satisfy her. Now, seeing me, so strong and powerful, how could she not be overjoyed?

Wang Xifeng said, "You two are guests from afar, and elders of Sister Yu. Please forgive my delay; please come into my residence."

How could this be?

What would happen to Wu Zetian's five women if this were to happen?

I politely declined, saying, "I have some urgent business to attend to, so I won't disturb you any longer, Sister-in-law Feng. You can come again tomorrow." Upon hearing this, Lin Lan became anxious, saying, "Husband..."

I smiled and continued, "My wife has traveled a thousand miles to see her niece. Would it be possible for her to stay at our residence for a few days?"

Wang Xifeng, upon hearing this, happily replied, "Not just a few days, she'd stay for a year or two!"

"That would be wonderful!" I then instructed Xiangling to stay with her godmother at the Rongguo Mansion to keep Daiyu company, before bidding farewell to everyone. I mounted the carriage, cracked the whip, and sped off to find an inn.

Lin Lan, Lin Daiyu, Wang Xifeng, and the other ladies were all captivated by my dashing figure as I cracked the whip in the carriage. My every move, brimming with masculine charm, left these ladies and young women completely mesmerized...

That's all for today. To find out what happens next, please read the next chapter!
