Volume Seven, Chapter Eight: The Passing of Jueyuan.

Hua Ruoxu headed straight for Shaolin Temple without encountering any trouble along the way. However, Feixu kept following him, much to his dismay. He had once gritted his teeth and said he would kill her, but she said she already wanted to die, leaving Hua Ruoxu completely helpless. Now, when he stayed at an inn, Feixu stayed at an inn too; when he went out, she would go out as well; when he walked, she walked; when he rode a horse, she rode a horse as well; even when Hua Ruoxu ate, she would sit opposite him.
After passing Anhui and entering Henan, that evening, Hua Ruoxu had just entered an inn when Feixu followed him in. It was worth it for her to have secretly followed Hua Ruoxu for so long; now she could keep up with him closely, not lagging behind at all.
What was most admirable was that she seemed completely unconcerned about betraying Hua Ruoxu in the past, as if it had never happened.
"Feixu, what exactly do you want?" Hua Ruoxu finally couldn't help but ask, opening the door. As he expected, Feixu was outside.
"Nothing much, just waiting for you to kill me," Fei Xu said nonchalantly.
"Stop messing around, okay? I can let bygones be bygones, and I trust Dai'er won't do anything to you. What do you want now?" Hua Ruoxu was furious.
"I'm bored by myself, can't I go sightseeing?" Fei Xu remained lazy.
"You can go wherever you want, just don't follow me, okay?" Hua Ruoxu was seething with anger but didn't know where to vent it.
"You're the one who begged me to come from Miss, who else should I follow?" Fei Xu's eyes darted around, and she said confidently.
"Do you want Dai'er to execute you?" Hua Ruoxu said irritably.
"Yes, that's what I think." Fei Xu nodded vigorously.
"You!..." Hua Ruoxu was speechless.

Princess Wushuang hosted a banquet at the Piaoxiang Restaurant for over a hundred young men in Jinling, and Princess Wushuang's beauty did not disappoint; she was indeed exceptionally beautiful. Of course, Hua Ruoxu couldn't see any of this, but just as he was about to vomit blood from anger at Feixu, Princess Wushuang mentioned his name.
"Princess, everyone has arrived except for one person." After the banquet, two young women were talking.
"Who hasn't arrived?" The one called Princess seemed somewhat surprised.
"Hua Ruoxu, the leader of the Tianxing Alliance. I heard he left Jinling three days ago." The girl who had spoken first replied.
"Hua Ruoxu, is that the one who supposedly has unusual connections with both the Divine Palace and the Demon Palace?" The princess hesitated slightly before asking.
"Yes, Princess, it's him."

Songshan. Shaolin Temple.
Zen Master Jueyuan paced anxiously back and forth in his meditation room.
"Zen Master, Young Master Hua has arrived at the foot of the mountain." A person hurriedly entered.
"I'll go meet him!" Zen Master Jueyuan's expression brightened.
At the foot of the mountain, Hua Ruoxu looked at Feixu, his face full of frustration.
"Feixu, Shaolin Temple is just up there. Girls aren't allowed in. Please don't follow me, okay?" Hua Ruoxu had never seen such a patient person before; this was a real eye-opener.
"Whether I can go in or not is up to the monks of Shaolin Temple. You're not from Shaolin Temple," Feixu pouted.
Hua Ruoxu didn't say anything more, knowing it was useless.
Just as they arrived at the entrance of Shaolin Temple, they found Abbot Jueyuan waiting for him.
"Ruoxu, come with me!" Before he could speak, Abbot Jueyuan stopped him from bowing and led him directly inside.
*** *** ****
"Abbot, why did you call me so urgently?" Hua Ruoxu asked as they entered Abbot Jueyuan's meditation room.
"Ruoxu, I think you should know about the deaths of the four major sect leaders." Abbot Jueyuan's expression turned grave.
Hua Ruoxu nodded slightly; almost everyone in the martial arts world knew this news.
"Ruoxu, I've always had high hopes for you, but unfortunately, you weren't willing to learn martial arts back then, so I didn't want to force you. However, now that you've finally mastered such excellent skills, I'm truly gratified." Master Jueyuan looked at Hua Ruoxu with a kind expression. "I've also heard about your deeds in the martial arts world these past few days. The reason I urgently summoned you to Mount Song is because I have something to entrust to you."

"Master, I will never forget your kindness. Whatever your instructions, I will certainly follow them," Hua Ruoxu said sincerely.
"You were my nominal disciple before, but I expelled you later. However, today, I will formally accept you as my last lay disciple, Jueyuan." Master Jueyuan gently pressed his shoulder. "I know your martial arts may now be superior to mine, but I still hope you can accept this status, because having this status will be helpful in what I want you to do."
"To become your disciple is an honor for everyone." Hua Ruoxu knelt down and bowed. "Disciple Hua Ruoxu greets Master!"
"Good, good, good!" Master Jueyuan said three times in a row. "Ruoxu, you must remember not to do anything wrong. If you do do something wrong, you must dare to admit it and take responsibility, understand?"
"Disciple understands!" Hua Ruoxu replied softly.
"Alright, you may come out." Master Jueyuan turned around and said to the back. Hua Ruoxu was slightly taken aback. In fact, he had already sensed that there were still people, but he did not expect that there was a hidden door in this meditation room. Two men and a woman walked out from inside.
There were three young men and women. One, a boy in blue, was burly and imposing, with piercing eyes and sharp eyebrows. Another, a boy in gray, appeared rather delicate, but was handsome, tall, and possessed a refined inner light, suggesting he was also quite skilled in cultivation. The girl in white had bright eyes and white teeth, a slender and graceful figure, and shoulder-length hair. She was spirited and exuded a heroic air, but lacked the feminine charm one would expect from a woman.
"Ruoxu, this is Zhou Changfeng from Wudang; this is Zheng Yunfan from Qingcheng; and this Miss Huimin is from Emei," Master Jueyuan introduced the three to Hua Ruoxu. The one in blue was Zhou Changfeng, the handsome boy in gray was Zheng Yunfan, and the girl in white was Huimin.
"Ruoxu, what I need you to do is to rescue the seven major sects from Ye Bu'er's clutches and prevent their disciples from working for him," Master Jueyuan said slowly, a pained look flashing in his eyes. "Finally, you must eliminate all of Ye Bu'er's forces and kill him!"
Hua Ruoxu was slightly taken aback. He hadn't expected Master Jueyuan to be concerned about Ye Bu'er. Could it be that he had also discovered something was wrong with Ye Bu'er?
"Ruoxu, can you promise me you'll do this?" Master Jueyuan looked at Hua Ruoxu and asked in a deep voice.
"Master, please rest assured, I will definitely do it! If Ye Bu'er truly deserves to die, I will never let him go!" Hua Ruoxu's tone was resolute.
"That's good, that's good!" Master Jueyuan seemed to have aged considerably all of a sudden.
"Master, do you also think Ye Bu'er is ambitious?" Hua Ruoxu asked after thinking for a moment.
"He has already done many heinous things!" Master Jueyuan said slowly, reaching into his robes and pulling out four items.
"These are the tokens of the leaders of the four major sects. Take them one by one. Ruoxu, take the other three to Jinling, and then the four of you will each assume the position of leader of the four sects!" Zen Master Jueyuan said as he handed the tokens to Hua Ruoxu.
Only then did Hua Ruoxu understand why Zen Master Jueyuan wanted to formally accept him as a disciple. However, the thought of becoming the Shaolin abbot made him hesitate.
"Ruoxu, don't worry, you are only temporarily serving as abbots. After the martial world is at peace, you can choose another person to be the abbot. Of course, if you wish to continue, that would be best." Zen Master Jueyuan's expression softened, and he smiled slightly at Hua Ruoxu. "However, Ruoxu, you definitely won't continue."
Hua Ruoxu smiled awkwardly. The Shaolin abbots were mostly monks, and he didn't want to be one.

The Shaolin Temple bells rang out powerfully. The ceremony for Zen Master Jueyuan to formally accept Hua Ruoxu as a disciple was underway. After the ceremony, Zen Master Jueyuan slowly sat down on the ground, muttering something softly, and gradually fell silent.
Suddenly, mournful chanting of Buddhist sutras filled the Great Buddha Hall. The voices were loud, and everyone's eyes were filled with tears. Hua Ruoxu finally sensed something was wrong. He moved quietly to the side of Zen Master Jueyuan, his hands trembling as he held them to his nose.
"Master!" Hua Ruoxu cried out in anguish, kneeling down with a thud, tears streaming down his face.
"You all know your master is dying, don't you? Why didn't you say anything?" Hua Ruoxu roared at the crowd. No one answered him. At that moment, Huimin handed him a letter.
"One wrong step leads to eternal regret; looking back, a hundred years have passed!" Only these two lines were written inside, in Zen Master Jueyuan's handwriting.
"Master, oh Master, why must you die?" Hua Ruoxu couldn't suppress his grief.
*** *** ***
Three days later, at the foot of Mount Song, three men and one woman took one last look at the mountain, then turned and sped away.
Throughout the journey, Hua Ruoxu remained silent. The sudden suicide of Zen Master Jueyuan had dealt him a heavy blow. He now realized that everything Zen Master Jueyuan had told him before was his dying words. "One wrong step leads to eternal regret; looking back, a hundred years have passed." Why did he say those words? This was an unsolved mystery in Hua Ruoxu's heart.
"Brother Hua, the Zen Master is gone. Don't be too sad," Huimin comforted them as they arrived at an inn in the evening.
"Although we are nominally from different sects, in reality, we are no different from the Zen Master's disciples. He taught us all," Zheng Yunfan said in a low voice. "We are all very sad, but we should do our best to fulfill his instructions."
"Brother Hua, do you know that girl who has been following us?" Zhou Changfeng pointed to Feixu not far away. She had been waiting for Hua Ruoxu at the foot of Mount Song for several days and had now caught up with him again.
"Never mind her, let's get to Jinling as soon as possible." Hua Ruoxu glanced at Feixu and said in a low voice, "We're still far from Jinling, and the martial world is dangerous, everyone be careful!"
"Senior Brother Hua, don't worry, this isn't our first time traveling the martial world." Huimin smiled.
*** *** ***
Hua Ruoxu sat quietly in the room, his sorrow still lingering. The night was deep, and he still couldn't fall asleep.
"Come in, the door's unlocked." Hua Ruoxu suddenly said to the doorway in a low voice. He knew who was there; it was no one but Feixu.
"I heard Zen Master Jueyuan is dead, is that true?" Feixu walked in as if she were in her own home, lazily sitting down opposite Hua Ruoxu.
"Don't ask me that question!" Hua Ruoxu glared at her fiercely.
"Are you unhappy? Is it because no one's keeping you company?" Feixu grinned, seemingly happier the angrier Hua Ruoxu was.
"Don't think I really wouldn't dare kill you!" Hua Ruoxu's hand was already on his sword.
"Go ahead and kill me! I wanted to die by your hand anyway, so what? You're too scared?" Fei Xu leaned forward, suddenly throwing herself at Hua Ruoxu. "Are you reluctant to kill me?" Her tone was seductive, her hands still around Hua Ruoxu's neck.
"What are you doing?" Hua Ruoxu was slightly taken aback, then abruptly pushed her away, growling softly.
"Aren't you unhappy? You can vent your sadness, I'll let you vent, isn't that enough? What more do you want? Is my body so worthless?" Fei Xu's pretty face changed, then she suddenly yelled at Hua Ruoxu, tears welling in her eyes.
"What kind of person do you take me for? And what do you think you are?" Hua Ruoxu was both amused and annoyed.
"Didn't you hate to see me die? If you can't bear to see me die, why don't you want me? Don't worry, I won't bother you. I just saw you were so sad and wanted to make you feel better. Don't men go drinking and looking for women when they're unhappy? What did I do wrong?" Fei Xu slumped into a chair, muttering to herself.
"Alright, stop overthinking." Hua Ruoxu softened slightly, her tone gentler. "Not all men are like that. It's getting late, you should go back and rest."
"Then, what will make you happy?" Fei Xu still wouldn't give up.
"Some things, once they happen, will make you unhappy no matter when you think about them later." Hua Ruoxu pondered for a while before slowly saying.
"I know, you resent me for framing you and Miss, that's why you're like this. I, I'll tell you who asked me to do it, okay?" Fei Xu thought for a moment and suddenly looked at Hua Ruoxu with expectant eyes.
"If you're willing to tell me, that would be best. But since I didn't ask Dai'er to force you last time, I naturally won't force you either." Hua Ruoxu's heart stirred slightly, and she sighed softly.
Feixu didn't speak immediately, her head lowered as she seemed to be hesitating, lost in thought. "Actually, actually..." Feixu stammered for a long time, still unable to reveal who it was.

" Since you don't want to say, don't force yourself. It's getting late, you should go back first. I need to rest too; we have to travel tomorrow." Hua Ruoxu seemed slightly impatient. "It's not that I don't want to say, it's just that I'm afraid you won't believe me." Feixu hurriedly said. "How do you know I won't believe you if you don't even say?" Hua Ruoxu felt both amused and annoyed. "Then, then I'll tell you, it was Nangong Feiyun who asked me to do it. Do you know who that is?" Feixu said, looking at Hua Ruoxu nervously. Nangong Feiyun? Hua Ruoxu's heart skipped a beat. He had always thought Ye Bu'er was the most likely culprit, but he hadn't expected it to be Nangong Feiyun. “I told you you wouldn’t believe me. Nangong Feiyun isn’t famous in the martial arts world, but it really was him. His martial arts skills are also very high, really, I’m not lying to you!” Feixu saw Hua Ruoxu’s silence and assumed he didn’t believe her. “I didn’t say I didn’t believe you,” Hua Ruoxu shook his head, but in his heart he was thinking about the relationship between Nangong Feiyun and the Divine Palace. If Nangong Feiyun really was the fourth envoy of the Divine Palace, then the one who wanted to kill Dai’er and him that time was probably someone from the Divine Palace. And the Divine Palace’s appearance was so coincidental, so it seemed very likely that it was the Divine Palace. But what about the poison? Could it be that it wasn’t the Poison Sect that poisoned them? For a moment, Hua Ruoxu found himself in a mystery. “You really believe me? So now you don’t blame me anymore?” Feixu looked at Hua Ruoxu expectantly. "Now that I've brought you away from Dai'er, I have no intention of pursuing the past," Hua Ruoxu said calmly. After a moment's thought, she suddenly asked, "When did you meet Nangong Feiyun? And what benefits did he offer you to help him?"

"I...I haven't known him for long. He...he didn't give me anything in return." Fei Xu
's expression changed slightly, and she seemed to become uneasy, stammering as she spoke. "So you betrayed Dai'er for someone you just met?" Hua Ruoxu asked, his tone tinged with anger.
"I...I...it's not like that, I..." Fei Xu slumped down, clutching her head in her hands, her mind seemingly a jumbled mess.
"What exactly happened? Tell me the truth, okay? Did he force you?" Hua Ruoxu's tone was already tinged with anger.
"Because...because at that time, I was unhappy because you weren't paying attention to me, and that's when I met him. It was a coincidence, he was just like you, gentle and refined, and very kind. I...I fell for him, well, no, I just thought I liked him, and then I helped him." Fei Xu lowered her head, speaking softly and haltingly.
"Just that simple?" Hua Ruoxu seemed somewhat disbelieving.
"Yes, it's that simple. Later, when I saw you were really dead, I was heartbroken and never went to see him again. Then, I heard you were alive again, so I secretly ran back. But I was discovered by the palace people not long after I returned." Fei Xu glanced at Hua Ruoxu furtively, then quickly lowered her head.
Hua Ruoxu fell silent again. If what Fei Xu said was true, then this matter seemed too simple. Of course, it was only simple for Fei Xu, but for Nangong Feiyun, it seemed not so simple.
"How did you and Nangong Feiyun meet?" Hua Ruoxu pondered for a while, frowned, and asked again.
"I don't quite remember. It seems like I was sitting alone in a tavern, lost in thought, and then he just happened to walk in. Oh right, he was the one who initiated the conversation!" Fei Xu thought for a moment and said. Now she seemed very honest, answering whatever Hua Ruoxu asked.
"Could it be that Nangong Feiyun deliberately sought out Feixu? If that's the case, Nangong Feiyun should be quite familiar with the people around Dai'er." Hua Ruoxu suddenly broke out in a cold sweat. Could there be a traitor among Su Dai'er's people?
"I told him everything I knew. Actually, I didn't know who he really was. I just helped him without thinking. He only told me to lure you and Miss there that time, he didn't tell me he was going to kill you." Feixu muttered again, but Hua Ruoxu found her words somewhat incoherent. She originally said she actually wanted to kill them, but now she said she didn't know anything. He didn't know which of her words were true and which were false.
"Alright, you can go out now!" Hua Ruoxu sighed softly. For the moment, he couldn't figure it out and decided to stop thinking about it for now.
"I, I won't go out!" Feixu looked at Hua Ruoxu stubbornly and refused to get up.
"Get out!" Hua Ruoxu hissed. Fei Xu glanced at him with a wronged expression, stood up, and obediently left.
Hua Ruoxu breathed a sigh of relief. He was genuinely afraid Fei Xu would refuse to leave. He had already experienced her patience before and didn't want to experience it again.
Hua Ruoxu lay down on the bed fully clothed, his mind filled with a jumble of complex thoughts, and he began to feel drowsy. Suddenly, the sound of light footsteps startled him awake. Someone was tiptoeing to the bedside. Hua Ruoxu didn't move with his eyes closed. Suddenly, he heard a rustling sound and abruptly threw off the covers and crawled in.
Hua Ruoxu slapped her, opening his eyes at the same time, but immediately withdrew his hand.
"What are you doing now?" Hua Ruoxu's heart skipped a beat. A smooth, supple body pressed against him. Fei Xu, completely naked, pounced on him.
"Wouldn't it be better if I gave it to you? I... my body is clean, I haven't been touched by Nangong Feiyun, really, you believe me." Feixu's aggrieved appearance was strangely alluring, her hands wrapping around Hua Ruoxu's neck, her naked body trembling slightly.
"Get dressed!" Hua Ruoxu said in a commanding tone.
Feixu didn't speak, but shook her head desperately, her eyes revealing her stubbornness.
Hua Ruoxu pushed away her hands wrapped around his neck, got out of bed, put on his clothes, and simply went outside. The night breeze carried a hint of coolness, and the slight heat in his heart instantly disappeared without a trace.
"Senior Brother Hua, can't you sleep either?" A clear voice came from behind him. Hua Ruoxu turned around, and Huimin stood there, looking at him with a slight smile.
Hua Ruoxu smiled slightly and nodded, but felt a little embarrassed. He couldn't sleep not because he had too many things on his mind, but because of Feixu's interference.
"Senior Brother Hua, have you thought about what we should do next?" Huimin asked after a moment's thought.
"Let's go back to Jinling first. By the way, Junior Sister, did Master give you any other instructions before?" Hua Ruoxu asked after a moment's thought.
"The three of us, plus Senior Brother Wuchen, make four people in total. We've actually been following the Zen Master for ten years, but we've never publicly shown ourselves in the martial world," Huimin said softly, a hint of sorrow in her voice. "We've never known why the Zen Master did this, and even now, we still don't understand why he died. Before you came to Shaolin, Senior Brother Hua, the Zen Master instructed that the four of us would follow you and obey your orders. That's why I asked you if you had any plans."
"I haven't seen Master for a year either. A year ago, I was just a scholar who knew no martial arts. In just one year, everything has changed," Hua Ruoxu said softly, a trace of pain flashing in his eyes. "I never imagined I would encounter so many things before. Even before seeing Master this time, I never thought I would do anything for the martial world. But now, I know I have a responsibility. I must do well what Master left behind, so that I can comfort his spirit in heaven."
"By the way, Junior Sister, is the Senior Brother Wuchen you mentioned the one who delivered the letter to me?" Hua Ruoxu remembered the little monk and asked again.
Huimin nodded, and Hua Ruoxu felt a pang of silence.
"The Zen Master said that Senior Brother Wuchen is too honest and straightforward to shoulder heavy responsibilities, so he can only be your assistant." Huimin continued.
"Young Master, why did you leave me here?" At this moment, Feixu's voice came from outside, and what was worse, her clothes were still a little disheveled, and she was standing at the door of Hua Ruoxu's room.
"Senior Brother Hua, I'm going back to my room first." Huimin blushed slightly and quickly made an excuse to leave.

Hua Ruoxu felt a surge of annoyance; it seemed that this misunderstanding was unavoidable.
"Go in!" Hua Ruoxu forcefully pushed Feixu into the room and slammed the door shut.
"What exactly do you want? If you want to sleep here, then sleep and don't wander around!" Hua Ruoxu glared at her fiercely.
"What's wrong? Afraid people will find out? Or have you taken a fancy to that pretty junior sister?" Fei Xu didn't seem scared at all.
"You're being ridiculous!" Hua Ruoxu was about to hit her. "Do you know how long it's been since my master died? Do you know what people think of us? I don't care, it's not like I've never been slandered before, but let me tell you, I don't want people to talk about my master even after he's dead, saying he took in an inappropriate disciple!"
"Why are you so angry? I... I won't say anything." Fei Xu looked a little aggrieved, quickly turned around and burrowed back into the covers, then pretended to be asleep without a word.
Hua Ruoxu angrily shook his hand, sat down, and sullenly. It seemed he wouldn't be getting any sleep tonight.
*** *** ***
The next morning, Zhou Changfeng and Zheng Yunfan seemed surprised to see Feixu following behind Hua Ruoxu. Huimin, however, looked at them somewhat apologetically, as if she felt bad for disturbing them the previous night.
"Her name is Feixu," Hua Ruoxu introduced her briefly.
The group of five hurried along. Hua Ruoxu felt somewhat troubled, beginning to miss his beloved in Jinling, and his longing to return home intensified.
"Junior Brother Zhou, Junior Brother Zheng, Junior Sister, you three be careful, someone is following us," Hua Ruoxu suddenly whispered. The three nodded, seemingly aware of the situation.
"I'll go kill them," Feixu said, turning to leave.
"Come back!" Hua Ruoxu hissed. "Don't alert them, and don't kill so easily!" Those raised by a witch are indeed witches; killing seems no different from eating for them.
"Okay, I'll listen to you, alright? Why are you so fierce?" Feixu muttered, feeling a little strange. Recently, Hua Ruoxu's temperament seemed to have changed considerably; he got angry at the drop of a hat. “Senior brother, your sister-in-law is only doing this
for your own good, don’t blame her.” Huimin seemed more soft-hearted. “Junior sister, don’t talk nonsense, she’s not your sister-in-law.” Hua Ruoxu was somewhat amused and exasperated. Feixu’s good deed last night was indeed starting to have negative consequences. “That’s right, that’s right, I’m just the young master’s maid.” Feixu chimed in from the side, but it only made things worse. Hua Ruoxu glared at Feixu fiercely. Suddenly, Hua Ruoxu stopped and quickly scanned his surroundings. There were low hills on both sides, and they were walking on a dirt road in the middle. The hills were bare, obviously impossible to hide anyone, but he sensed a familiar killing intent. “Watch your step!” Hua Ruoxu shouted suddenly. White Robe Tower, judging from his intuition, it was obviously White Robe Tower assassins again. He and Hua Feimeng had already encountered this situation once before. Before the words were even finished, the loess on both sides of the mountain exploded, and a murderous aura, swirling with the loess, rapidly engulfed the five people. This time, Hua Ruoxu had guessed wrong again; they weren't buried beneath his feet, but rather in the loess on either side. In fact, it was said that the White Robe Tower would never use the exact same method to kill the same person twice. Hua Ruoxu let out a clear whistle; the grief from the death of Zen Master Jueyuan and his deep resentment towards Feixu transformed into killing intent. Tianxing Lei and Qingjian ruthlessly stabbed towards the newcomers. Zhou Changfeng and the other two also moved. Today, Hua Ruoxu had truly witnessed their martial arts skills. As expected of those personally trained by Zen Master Jueyuan, although they still lacked some refinement and ruthlessness, their martial arts alone were already enough to reach the first-rate level. One person dealing with four White Robe Tower assassins seemed to be handling it with ease. "Show no mercy, kill!" Hua Ruoxu shouted coldly, his sword stance shifting. The sword, imbued with the deep longing for his distant wife, unleashed a lightning-fast burst of sword energy upon the two white-clad assassins before him. Two screams rang out, but Hua Ruoxu didn't even glance at them. He then turned his sword, slashing behind them, followed by two more screams. Ten steps, one kill; a thousand miles, no trace left! Kill! Kill! Kill! Hua Ruoxu's heart was filled with murderous intent. One by one, the white-clad assassins drank blood under the sword, a chilling atmosphere filling the air. Volume Seven, Chapter Ten: Return to Jinling . The dust gradually dissipated, and the sky returned to clarity. The last brilliant blood flower slowly descended, the battle ending with astonishing speed. Hua Ruoxu's face was strangely calm, his white robes spotless, the sword already sheathed. His tall, slender figure stood proudly, surrounded by corpses, the air thick with a cold, desolate chill. Zhou Changfeng and the other two stared blankly at Hua Ruoxu. The quick end of the battle was a huge surprise to them. Hua Ruoxu's exceptional martial arts skills impressed them and even instilled a sense of dread. Fei Xu couldn't help but shiver slightly. "Let's go!" Hua Ruoxu uttered softly, taking the lead and striding away. Fei Xu was the first to react and followed, while the other three hesitated briefly before setting off. "Senior Brother Hua, aren't we going to leave their corpses behind?" Hui Min caught up and asked, reaching Hua Ruoxu's side. "Don't worry, someone will take care of them," Hua Ruoxu shook his head. *** *** *** After Hua Ruoxu and his group of five left, five more people in white suddenly appeared in the arena. They were Bai Yi, the leader of the White Robe Pavilion, and the Four Killers of White Robe. "Why did you send them to their deaths?" It was Bai Yi who spoke, and he was questioning the Four Killers of White Robe. "They're not as skilled as us, it's not that we want them dead," Xiao Wudi, one of the four assassins in white, spoke, his voice cold and devoid of emotion, showing little courtesy to Bai Yi. "We've ambushed Hua Ruoxu more than once. Our men are no match for him, even with us, we wouldn't gain the upper hand. Sending them to assassinate Hua Ruoxu now is tantamount to sending them to their deaths," Bai Yi said coldly. "This is the master's order. You can ask him if you have any objections," Xiao Wudi replied coldly, turning and leaving. Bai Yi watched the four depart with hatred, a sudden thought making him break out in a cold sweat. *** *** **** Night fell, Jinling. Outside the Tianxing Alliance, countless dark figures suddenly appeared, nimbly rushing towards the alliance's interior. "Enemies! Everyone be careful!" Zhao Changkong suddenly roared, forcing out his true energy, his longsword drawn, charging towards the first masked man in black. Lights instantly illuminated the scene as Ximen Lin charged out first, unleashing the Thousand Hands Guanyin Palm, conjuring thousands upon thousands of palm shadows. Hua Yufeng and Hua Feimeng arrived shortly after. "Amitabha!" Hua Feimeng murmured a Buddhist chant. Tonight, she finally didn't dislike the little monk anymore, because she discovered he was holding his own against four opponents. A whistle blew, and the masked men in black instantly retreated. "Don't chase them!" Ximen Lin quickly stopped Hua Feimeng when she saw she seemed about to give chase. Hua Yufeng frowned. These men in black were all exceptionally skilled, their movements precise and orderly, clearly indicating they had received rigorous training. *** *** *** "Master, why retreat?" About fifteen minutes later, a man in black standing behind Ye Bu'er asked, somewhat puzzled. "I didn't expect the Heavenly Star Alliance to have so many experts besides Hua Ruoxu and Hua Yuluan," Ye Bu'er murmured. "If we fight them now, we might both be severely injured. It's more important to deal with the others first. As for Hua Ruoxu, let's leave him for last!" Ye Bu'er hadn't anticipated Zhao Changkong's rapid improvement in martial arts or the appearance of the little monk. Originally, with Hua Ruoxu gone and Hua Yuluan pregnant, this was his best opportunity. However, after one strike, he realized his opponent was too strong, so he immediately retreated to avoid affecting his own strength. *** *** *** The news of Master Jueyuan's death finally spread throughout the martial arts world. The fact that Master Jueyuan had taken Hua Ruoxu as his formal disciple before his death was also simultaneously announced. Why Master Jueyuan died, and how he died, remained unknown. The fact that he had taken Hua Ruoxu as his formal disciple just before his death fueled much speculation and debate. Shaolin Temple did not prepare a funeral for Zen Master Jueyuan, and the reason was unknown. However, what was puzzling was that Ye Bu'er, in the name of the Justice League, was about to prepare a grand memorial service for the four deceased sect leaders, even though the four sect leaders had already passed away for many days.

Hua Ruoxu and his party encountered no further ambushes and their journey proceeded smoothly. However, Fei Xu still insisted on sleeping in his bed every night. Hua Ruoxu tried to drive her away with his sword, but to no avail. Unable to kill her with a single blow, he had no choice but to let her be. This only made things harder for him, as he had to meditate every night to pass the long nights.
That night, as usual, nearing midnight, Hua Ruoxu was still sitting, while Fei Xu lay comfortably on the bed. However, tonight she seemed very restless, tossing and turning.
Suddenly, Fei Xu let out a soft moan, a painful moan, and began to roll around on the bed, her snow-white skin appearing and disappearing.
Hua Ruoxu hardened his heart and ignored it. Based on his intuition, he guessed that she was doing this on purpose again; it wasn't the first time she had done something similar to seduce him.
But tonight seemed different. Fei Xu's moans grew increasingly painful, and slowly she stopped rolling around, as if she had run out of strength.
Finally, when it became completely silent, Hua Ruoxu finally stood up and went to the bedside.
"What's wrong?" Hua Ruoxu noticed her unusually pale face and was covered in sweat, so he couldn't help but ask.
"I...I'm fine," Feixu said weakly, struggling to open her eyes.
Hua Ruoxu touched her forehead and found it burning hot. He felt a little worried; it seemed she was truly ill this time.
"I'll take you to see a doctor," Hua Ruoxu said, reaching out to help her up. However, remembering she was naked, he quickly withdrew his hand and turned away, saying, "Put your clothes on!"
"Young Master, I...I don't need to see a doctor," Feixu gasped. "Young Master, can I ask you for a favor?"
"Go ahead, what is it?" Hua Ruoxu didn't hear any movement, knowing she hadn't gotten up, so he turned back to her and sighed softly.
"Young master, after I die, please find me a good place, okay? I want a place with mountains and water, and if there are flowers and birds, that would be the best." Fei Xu said softly, a longing expression on her face, as if she could already see that beautiful place with clear waters, green mountains, and fragrant flowers.
"What nonsense are you talking about? How could you die like that?" Hua Ruoxu's tone was slightly angry.
"Young master, Fei Xu is sorry to you and to Miss. I... I can only repay you in the next life." A blush appeared on Fei Xu's face. "Young master, can you grant me one last request? Can you hug me?"
"What's wrong with you?" Hua Ruoxu finally began to feel something was wrong. Fei Xu's behavior didn't seem like a joke.
"Young master, we're going back to Jinling tomorrow. I know that after we go back, I won't be able to follow you anymore. I... I just want to die in your arms. Just now, I... I've already taken poison. Young master, please hug me, okay?" Fei Xu said intermittently.
"You!" Hua Ruoxu abruptly pulled up the blanket, scooped up Feixu and the blanket together, and turned to leave.
"Young Master!" Feixu cried out urgently, "Young Master, it's too late! I... I don't want others to see me like this! Please put me down!"
Hua Ruoxu, who had already reached the door, stopped in his tracks upon hearing this. He felt a mix of emotions, but finally, he slowly walked back to the bedside and put Feixu back down.
"Young Master, hold me." Feixu's mind was beginning to wander, and she uttered a dreamlike murmur.
Even the most hardened heart of Hua Ruoxu would soften, especially since he was already soft-hearted. He gently took off his boots, slipped under the blanket, and gently embraced Feixu's seemingly cold body.
Feixu, with a sudden surge of strength, wrapped her arms tightly around Hua Ruoxu's neck, and her cherry lips pressed against his, kissing him passionately.
Hua Ruoxu felt a mix of emotions. He gradually tightened his embrace around Feixu's still naked body, passionately kissing her, unaware that the body in his arms was growing increasingly hot.
Feixu's body grew softer and softer, writhing restlessly against Hua Ruoxu, her arms tightening around him, her pretty face flushed, alluring and alluring, making soft moaning sounds.
Suddenly, Hua Ruoxu released Feixu, looking at the hot body in his arms, a surge of annoyance rising within him.
"You lied to me again?" Hua Ruoxu saw Feixu, who had just looked pained, now limp and alluring, and felt a sudden pang of guilt.
"You seemed to be enjoying it just now," Feixu muttered, her face still flushed, a hint of sweetness in her eyes, as if she were still reminiscing about the previous pleasure.
Hua Ruoxu abruptly sat up, but Feixu still clung to his neck, refusing to let go. Unable to bear it any longer, Hua Ruoxu acupunctured her, then threw her onto the bed, pulled a blanket over her, and left.

With Jinling in sight, Hua Ruoxu finally breathed a sigh of relief.
Upon entering the city, Feixu vanished without a trace. Hua Ruoxu didn't bother with her and led Zhou Changfeng and the other two straight to the Hua residence.
"Young Master!" Hanxue's sweet voice rang out as she threw herself into Hua Ruoxu's arms. Only she would be so uninhibited in front of anyone.
Hua Ruoxu briefly mentioned the names of Zhou Changfeng and the other two, but didn't reveal their identities yet. The three of them went to catch up with the young monk, Wuchen, while Hua Ruoxu went to Hua Yuluan's room first.
The two embraced tightly, pouring out their longing for each other. Hua Yuluan, however, didn't ask Hua Ruoxu about his trip to Shaolin. That evening, Hua Ruoxu, Ximen Lin, Hua Yufeng, Zhao Changkong, Zhou Changfeng, and Wuchen—eight people in total—were in Hua Ruoxu's room. Hua Ruoxu recounted their trip to Shaolin.
" Second Senior Sister, what's going on in Jinling right now?" Hua Ruoxu asked at the end. "Nothing's happening yet, but Ye Bu'er suddenly said he's going to hold a funeral for the four sect leaders. I wonder what he's up to," Hua Yufeng said after a moment's thought. " Perhaps he's just pretending to be benevolent," Zhao Changkong chimed in. "How many days until the funeral?" Hua Ruoxu asked, frowning slightly. "The day after tomorrow," Hua Yufeng replied softly. "The day after tomorrow? Good, we'll wait a day. We'll go to the Ye family when the funeral starts!" Hua Ruoxu said after a moment's thought. "Junior Brother, also, four days ago, a group of masked men in black attacked us. They were very skilled, but they quickly retreated," Hua Yufeng added, raising her eyebrows. “Let’s put that aside for now and prepare for the day after tomorrow. I don’t think Ye Bu’er will let us take over the four major sects so easily.” A cold glint flashed in Hua Ruoxu’s eyes. After everyone left, Hua Yufeng stayed behind. “Junior brother, don’t be too sad about Master Jueyuan’s matter.” Hua Yufeng said softly, comforting him. She had already noticed that although Hua Ruoxu appeared calm on the surface, a trace of sadness often appeared between his brows. Hua Ruoxu gently hugged her and buried his head in her arms. After a long while, he finally raised his head, feeling much better. Whenever he hugged Hua Yufeng, he always felt more at peace. “Although I don’t know why Master committed suicide, I’m sure it’s related to Ye Bu’er, or even that Ye Bu’er forced him to his death. I won’t let Ye Bu’er get away with this!” Hua Ruoxu said softly. “Second senior sister, please help me investigate the relationship between Master and Ye Bu’er.”

Hua Yufeng gave a soft "Mmm," her face suddenly turning bright red, her voice barely audible: "I'll keep you company tonight!"
Looking at Hua Yufeng's shy and alluring appearance, Hua Ruoxu's heart pounded. He leaned down and gently kissed her, kissing her cherry lips and her delicate neck, his hands lightly gliding over her supple body.
Hua Yufeng's body went weak, feeling slightly unsteady, her skin gradually turning pink, and she let out a low, intoxicating moan, seemingly unable to bear her lover's teasing.
Hua Ruoxu lifted Hua Yufeng and gently placed her on the bed. Hua Yufeng shyly closed her beautiful eyes, but after a long while, she noticed that Hua Ruoxu hadn't moved. Opening her eyes, she found Hua Ruoxu still sitting on the edge of the bed, gazing at her with deep affection.
"Feng'er," Hua Ruoxu finally changed his address, no longer calling her Second Senior Sister.
"W-what?" Hua Yufeng seemed a little nervous.
"Feng'er, you can sleep here tonight, but I'm going somewhere else." Hua Ruoxu leaned down and whispered in her ear, "Our wedding night should be a very happy one."
After saying that, Hua Ruoxu gently kissed her rosy cheek, then resolutely got up and walked out, his reluctance evident in his steps.

Volume Seven, Chapter Eleven: A Chaotic Situation.

"Young Master." He had only taken a few steps out the door when he saw Hanxue standing in front of him, looking at him pitifully.
"Xiaoxue, it's so late, aren't you asleep yet?" Hua Ruoxu felt a surge of pity.
"Xiaoxue missed Young Master." Hanxue threw herself into Hua Ruoxu's arms, speaking in a sweet, coquettish voice.
Hua Ruoxu lifted Hanxue up and carried her through the corridor to her room. When he entered, he found that Hanxue was already asleep.
"Since Xiaoxue woke up, she's been thinking about seeing you all day. She hasn't slept well at all, hoping you'd come back. She finally saw you return during the day, but you didn't have time to be with her. Now, finally, she's here." Ximen Lin's soft voice came from the doorway.
Xiaoxue, oh Xiaoxue, why are you still so foolish! Hua Ruoxu sighed softly in her heart, gently placing her in the blankets, silently watching her for a long, long time.
"Sister Lin, please watch over Xiaoxue for me." Hua Ruoxu finally stood up, walked to the door, and said softly.
"Aren't you going to be with her?" Ximen Lin's eyes held a hint of reproach.
"I'm going to Meng'er's to ask her some questions." Hua Ruoxu shook her head and said.
"Alright then, Xiaoxue won't wake up anytime soon; her body is still quite weak." Ximen Lin sighed.
*** *** ***
Hua Feimeng stared blankly at the ceiling, cursing someone in her heart, when she finally heard familiar footsteps, and her heart leaped with joy.
As soon as Hua Ruoxu entered, he discovered that Hua Feimeng was actually pretending to be asleep. He found it amusing; the usually wild Hua Feimeng was always so shy.
"Meng'er, stop pretending to be asleep. I have something to ask you." Hua Ruoxu had already snuggled into the covers and was holding her, but Hua Feimeng was still pretending. Hua Ruoxu chuckled and pinched her rosy cheek.
"You bad boy, coming to see me so late!" Hua Feimeng suddenly bit his hand hard, pouting.
"Has Gong Yaqian come to see you?" Hua Ruoxu gently untied her restraints, asking softly.
"The Palace Mistress never comes to see us. It's always the Holy Maiden who contacts us." Hua Feimeng groaned softly, her starry eyes glazed over.
"Has she come these past few days?" Hua Ruoxu stroked the beautiful body in his arms, his heart gradually heating up.
“I’ve been here twice. I told her what I saw, just like you told me.” Hua Feimeng said, muttering a low curse, “You bad boy, don’t do anything rash. Ask her first.”
Hua Ruoxu, however, was already impatiently entering her body. He was at the prime of his life, and these past few days, constantly facing the temptations of Feixu, his desire had been building up for days. He had almost been completely aroused by Hua Yufeng, but now it was erupting completely on Hua Feimeng.
Hua Ruoxu greedily possessed this captivating beauty, and soft moans escaped intermittently from the alluring mouth of the woman beneath him, filling the air with an enchanting atmosphere.
“Meng’er, do you know who that Holy Maiden is?” The first wave of passion had just subsided, and Hua Ruoxu gently nibbled at Hua Feimeng’s skin, asking softly.
“No one knows. Apart from the Palace Master, no one knows who she is.” Hua Feimeng breathed softly, nestled against Hua Ruoxu’s chest.
“Youyou told me that the Divine Palace has four envoys, and is the other one Nangong Feiyun?” Hua Ruoxu thought for a moment and then asked.
“Ruoxu, I… I really can’t say.” Hua Feimeng looked timidly at Hua Ruoxu with a slightly pleading expression.
“Meng’er, why are you so afraid of that Gong Yaqian? Can’t you just stay by my side?” Hua Ruoxu felt a slight displeasure.
“Actually, the Palace Master has always been good to us, and the old Palace Master has also been very good to us. Ruoxu, I really don’t want to betray them. I’ll tell you as much as I can, but there are some things I really can’t say. Please don’t blame me, okay?” Hua Feimeng’s voice was somewhat mournful.
“Meng’er, I don’t blame you. Alright, just pretend I didn’t ask.” Hua Ruoxu gently patted her bare back and said softly.
Hua Feimeng’s soft, delicate body coiled around him like a snake, making low, seductive sounds. Hua Ruoxu’s desire was instantly aroused again, and the two became entangled together once more.
Hua Feimeng's heart was filled with contradictions. She wavered between the Divine Palace and her lover, unsure which side to lean towards, and her heart was filled with torment. She had always harbored the thought that if she could have both, how wonderful that would be.
Looking at the man beside her, Hua Feimeng felt a mixture of sweetness and contentment. No matter what the future held, at least for now, she could be by her lover's side, living a relatively happy life, and that was enough.

The next day, Hua Ruoxu arrived at the Demon Palace.
"Liuyun, is Dai'er inside?" Seeing Liuyun, Hua Ruoxu smiled slightly and asked.
"Young Master, Miss is waiting for you." Liuyun giggled.
"Waiting for me?" Hua Ruoxu shook his head, smiling awkwardly. Would Su Dai'er know he was coming?
Stepping into Su Dai'er's boudoir, he found she hadn't gotten up yet. Seeing Hua Ruoxu enter, she giggled and jumped out of bed, throwing herself into his arms. At this moment, Hua Ruoxu understood what Liu Yun meant when he said Dai'er was waiting for him; she was waiting for him to serve her.
"Dai'er, Feixu said that Nangong Feiyun instructed her, but I don't know if it's true or not. I don't know which of her words to believe," Hua Ruoxu said softly as he helped the delicate girl get dressed.
"Brother Ruoxu, don't worry about that. Play with me for a while first." Su Dai'er seemed to have no interest in this and began to snuggle in Hua Ruoxu's arms.
Su Dai'er first asked Hua Ruoxu to play chess with her, and after the chess game, she wanted him to play the zither with her. In this way, most of the day passed in a flash, and Hua Ruoxu began to feel a little anxious. He hadn't made any preparations for going to the Ye family tomorrow.
"By the way, Brother Ruoxu, I killed Baili Hu. Do you want to reward me?" Finally stopping playing the zither, Su Dai'er began to ask Hua Ruoxu to draw her eyebrows.
"Dair, just tell me what reward you want." Although Hua Ruoxu was somewhat absent-minded, he was still slightly taken aback when he heard that Baili Hu was dead, and his hand holding the eyebrow pencil stopped in mid-air.
"You have to come and keep me company every day from now on." Su Dai'er's words startled Hua Ruoxu. Every day? How could he possibly do anything else?
"Dai'er, I don't have that much time, and you won't come with me anyway," Hua Ruoxu said helplessly.
"Then come at least once every three days," Su Dai'er pouted, looking somewhat unhappy.
"Dai'er, I'll try to come see you more often," Hua Ruoxu still couldn't guarantee that much time.
"Then you're not allowed to leave tonight!" Su Dai'er wrapped her arms around his neck and scolded him.
"Dai'er, not tonight." When Hua Ruoxu said this, he noticed that Su Dai'er was almost crying. No wonder, Su Dai'er had never had several requests rejected by Hua Ruoxu in a row before.
"Brother Ruoxu, you don't care about Dai'er at all!" Su Dai'er pouted, tears welling up in her eyes.
"Dai'er, actually, I still want you to leave here. That way, I can keep you company every day," Hua Ruoxu sighed softly. Otherwise, he really wouldn't have much time to see Su Dai'er.
Su Dai'er remained silent, lost in thought.
"Brother Ruoxu, are you really going to get caught up in this vortex of martial arts conflict?" Su Dai'er asked softly, a hint of helplessness in her voice.
"Dai'er, there are some things I have to do," Hua Ruoxu said after a moment's thought.
"Brother Ruoxu, go back now. I'll come find you when I miss you," Su Dai'er finally released her arms from Hua Ruoxu's neck and jumped off him.
"Ye Bu'er was originally a protector of my Demon Palace, and the Poison Sect was also a subordinate sect of the Demon Palace, but now they've both broken free of our control." This was what Su Dai'er told Hua Ruoxu before he left.

Jinling Ye Family. Justice League Headquarters.
The makeshift mourning hall was filled with an atmosphere of sorrow and helplessness. The disciples of the four major sects harbored many grievances, but knew they couldn't speak them aloud. The four temporary sect leaders held the memorial tablets, but no one knew what they were feeling inside.
Behind Ye Bu'er stood Ouyang Jianping and Ge Yunxiang, all three with cold expressions, observing the mourners coming and going.
Hua Ruoxu and his group stepped into the mourning hall, and the atmosphere seemed to subtly shift, with all eyes turning to them.
Hua Ruoxu, Zhou Changfeng, Huimin, and Zheng Yunfan stepped forward in unison, bowed deeply, then rose, coldly sweeping their gazes over everyone present.

"Disciples of Shaolin, Wudang, Emei, and Qingcheng, heed my command!" Hua Ruoxu nodded to the three, and they all produced their respective sect leader tokens. Ye Bu'er was greatly shaken, and the disciples of the various sects were even more deeply shocked.
"From this moment forward, Hua Ruoxu is the 38th abbot of Shaolin Temple, Huimin the 26th abbot of Emei, Zhou Changfeng the 24th abbot of Wudang, and Zheng Yunfan the 18th abbot of Qingcheng. These abbotship tokens serve as proof. All disciples shall treat them as abbots; those who disobey shall be considered traitors!" Hua Ruoxu slowly uttered each word, each one clearly reaching everyone's ears.
Silence. Utter silence. For a moment, everyone seemed stunned; no one uttered a sound, and the air was thick with a suffocating atmosphere.
Ye Bu'er gave Zheng Xingying a wink,
and Zheng Xingying immediately understood. He still held the memorial tablet of the former Qingcheng abbot in his hand and walked towards Hua Ruoxu. "Hua Ruoxu, where did you get these fake tokens from, and then find these people to impersonate abbots?" Zheng Xingying looked at Hua Ruoxu angrily.
"Whether the token is real or fake, everyone can tell at a glance. I wonder if those of you who consider yourselves the leaders of your respective sects can produce your sect leader's token?" Hua Ruoxu said with a slight smile.
"Hua Ruoxu, a token doesn't prove anything. The leaders of each sect are always chosen by the previous leader. You've just randomly chosen someone who isn't even from our Qingcheng Sect to be our leader. Aren't you afraid of making a fool of yourself?" Zheng Xingying naturally couldn't produce a token, but his tone remained firm.
"Is that so? Then let's ask the murdered sect leaders who they chose," Hua Ruoxu sneered. "Whoever holds the sect leader's token, regardless of who it is, should be treated as the sect leader. This is common knowledge in the martial world. Zheng Xingying, your constant sophistry is simply because you don't want to relinquish the position of sect leader. In that case, let's all judge and see who is more qualified to be the sect leader." "
Hua Ruoxu, since you put it that way, then things are easy. Everyone knows I am the junior brother of the former sect leader of the Qingcheng Sect. My becoming the sect leader is what everyone wants," Zheng Xingying said smugly. "
Here is a will, written by my father, Zheng Zhengxiong, half a year ago. Uncle-Master, now you can know who the previous sect leader chose." Zheng Yunfan suddenly stepped forward, coldly looking at Zheng Xingying, a glint of cold light in his eyes, and took out a letter sealed with vermilion lacquer from his robes.
Hua Ruoxu was slightly taken aback; Zheng Yunfan hadn't mentioned having this letter.
"Nonsense, my senior brother's son died long ago!" Zheng Xingying immediately retorted.
"Am I not alive and well now?" Zheng Yunfan smiled coldly. "It's clearly stated here that once my father dies, regardless of the reason, I will be the next sect leader. If any disciples still wish to follow Zheng Xingying, don't blame me for accusing them of treason."
A small commotion arose among the Qingcheng Sect disciples, who seemed unsure of what to do.
"Disciples greet the sect leader!" Suddenly, two people rushed forward and knelt before Zheng Yunfan. Once
someone took the lead, more followed, and after a short while, almost half of the disciples had acknowledged Zheng Yunfan as their sect leader, while the other half remained undecided.
"Wait, this person is fake, and the letter he has is also forged." Zheng Xingying seemed somewhat embarrassed and angry.
"I can guarantee that what he has is genuine." A soft, pleasant voice came from behind.
"What makes you so sure?" Zheng Xingying immediately retorted.
"Because I am the eldest disciple of the Divine Nun of the South Sea." It was Ximen Lin who spoke. "What, is Hero Zheng trying to say I'm an imposter too?"
"Shaolin disciples, listen to my command! Take Master Yuanguang's body to the Heavenly Star Alliance. Master Yuanguang's funeral arrangements do not need to be arranged by outsiders." Hua Ruoxu glanced at the Shaolin disciples and spoke slowly, deliberately emphasizing the word "outsiders."
"Young Master Hua, Shaolin is one of the sects belonging to the Righteous Alliance. As the leader of the Righteous Alliance, it is only natural for me to arrange Master Yuanguang's funeral. Isn't your use of the term 'outsider' a bit biased?" Ye Bu'er, who had been watching the show for so long, finally spoke up.
"As far as I know, when the Justice League was established, Senior Brother Yuanguang was already deceased, and I only officially took over as sect leader today. Therefore, anything that happened in between is invalid since the sect leader did not agree to it, and Shaolin naturally does not belong to the Justice League." Hua Ruoxu smiled. "Of course, if Mr. Ye insists that it counts, that's fine too. I now represent Shaolin in withdrawing from the Justice League. I wonder if Mr. Ye has anything else to say?"

Volume 7, Chapter 12, First Display of Strength

"Young Master Hua, the Justice League was originally meant to uphold justice in the martial arts world. Does Young Master Hua intend to go against justice, or perhaps lead Shaolin into the Demon Palace? Moreover, according to the promise made to me by the leaders of the four major sects ten years ago, the four major sects should unconditionally join the Justice League. Does Young Master Hua want Shaolin to begin to betray its promises under your leadership?" Ye Bu'er smiled slightly, but immediately slapped several heavy accusations on Hua Ruoxu.
"According to what Master Ye says, does that mean one cannot uphold justice without joining the Justice League? Doesn't Master Ye find your statement ridiculous? As for the promise Master Ye mentioned, it seems there was no promise to join Master Ye's Justice League, was there? Of course, if Master Ye can provide conclusive proof, I, Hua Ruoxu, will certainly keep my word. If not, please don't accuse Shaolin of being untrustworthy, otherwise you are deliberately damaging Shaolin's reputation!" Hua Ruoxu smiled. In fact, he had no idea what promise was. However, since the leaders of the four major sects had passed away, there was no way to verify it. In the martial arts world, a promise is as good as gold, and very few people actually draw up any written agreement. He believed that Ye Bu'er couldn't produce anything.
"Amitabha, Junior Brother Ruoxu, although you are Uncle Jueyuan's disciple, Shaolin has never had a lay disciple serve as the sect leader. Therefore, whether you can represent Shaolin is still debatable." Yuan Neng finally spoke. He didn't want to give up his rightful position as sect leader, especially since he was tied to Ye Bu'er. "Moreover, the martial world values integrity above all else. Senior Brother Yuanguang did indeed make a promise as Master Ye said. Even if you were to succeed as sect leader, if you were to renege rashly, it would likely have a greater impact on Shaolin's reputation."
Ye Bu'er was secretly pleased. After all, Yuan Neng was currently the most senior disciple in Shaolin, and his words carried more weight than others. If he could corroborate this, what could Hua Ruoxu possibly say?
Ye Bu'er usually planned things meticulously, so he rarely made any major oversights. However, Hua Ruoxu's appearance today with the tokens of the four sect leaders was truly unexpected, leaving him somewhat at a loss. That's just how the martial world is; plans often can't keep up with changes.
"Although Shaolin has no precedent for a lay disciple to be the sect leader, the sect rules do not state that a lay disciple cannot be the sect leader. It seems that Senior Brother Yuan Neng is not a very qualified Shaolin disciple, as he is not even familiar with the sect rules." Hua Ruoxu smiled slightly, but his face suddenly turned cold. "As for whether I am the sect leader or not, I do not need to explain to outsiders. Shaolin's affairs are to be resolved by Shaolin itself! As the junior brother of the Shaolin sect leader, you have watched the sect leader die. You are no longer worthy of being a disciple of this sect. From this day forward, Yuan Neng is expelled from Shaolin!"
"What? You, how could you do this?" Yuan Neng was shocked, not expecting Hua Ruoxu to use this tactic.
"Shaolin disciples, you've all heard that, haven't you? Why aren't you moving the sect leader's body away?" Hua Ruoxu glanced indifferently at the Shaolin disciples present. The Shaolin disciples were always rather arrogant, considering themselves disciples of the top sect and unwilling to be controlled. Hua Ruoxu's actions had pleased them, so they obeyed his orders without a word, carrying Master Yuanguang's coffin away.
Ye Bu'er and the others exchanged bewildered glances. Hua Ruoxu's sudden change in attitude was quite unexpected.
Seeing that Hua Ruoxu had resolved the situation, Zheng Yunfan, Zhou Changfeng, and Huimin simply followed suit, expelling those people from the sect. In truth, they were all centered around Hua Ruoxu, so seeing him do it, they naturally followed suit.
"Master Ye, you must have seen the intentions of the disciples from our four major sects. If you still wish to obstruct us, it would be tantamount to deliberately causing trouble." Seeing the four major sects being taken over by Hua Ruoxu, Ye Bu'er was naturally unwilling. He was about to say something when Hua Ruoxu seemed to have read his mind and spoke first, leaving Ye Bu'er speechless.

*** *** *** News
of Hua Ruoxu taking all the disciples from the four major sects from the Justice League quickly spread throughout Jinling. Some people already vaguely sensed that Hua Ruoxu and his Heavenly Star Alliance were rising rapidly at an astonishing pace.
Fortunately, the number of disciples from each sect in Jinling wasn't too large, though it wasn't small either, totaling nearly a hundred. This made the Hua residence extremely crowded. Zhao Changkong and Hua Yufeng arranged accommodations for them. Hua Feihua and Fang Xia only learned of the magnitude of the event after it was over.
Hua Ruoxu was alone in his room, deep in thought. Ye Bu'er's behavior today seemed somewhat unusual. He shouldn't have let all these people come so easily. He began to carefully recall the details of the day, but couldn't find anything amiss. At least on the surface, Ye Bu'er seemed to have genuinely forced the disciples of the four major sects to leave under pressure from Hua Ruoxu. However, he had a feeling that things weren't that simple.
"Ruoxu, what are you thinking about?" Ximen Lin walked in and asked gently.
"Sister Lin, do you feel that things went a little too smoothly today?" Hua Ruoxu frowned.
"Not too smoothly. Logically speaking, it's fairly normal, but our current opponent is Ye Bu'er. If all those hidden forces were created by Ye Bu'er, then this person must be very cunning. Looking at it that way, things today seem a bit abnormal again." Ximen Lin pondered for a moment and said.
“Dair told me yesterday that Ye Bu'er used to be a protector of the Demon Palace, but he has now broken free from its control. I suspect that Ye Bu'er went to the Demon Palace for some purpose in the first place, and left once he achieved it.” Hua Ruoxu seemed thoughtful. “The Poison Sect also broke away from the Demon Palace at the same time as Ye Bu'er. Could it be that he went there for the Poison Sect? By the way, Sister Lin, we should examine the remains of the four sect leaders.”
“Don’t worry, I’ve already arranged for someone to do so.” It turned out that Ximen Lin had already thought of this. Hua Ruoxu felt a little embarrassed. He realized that he hadn’t considered things thoroughly enough, but with Ximen Lin and Hua Yufeng helping him now, he could rest assured.
“Sister Lin, let’s go out and take a look!” Hua Ruoxu said after thinking for a moment.
"Alliance Leader!" Zhao Changkong rushed over to greet Hua Ruoxu as he emerged. "Alliance Leader, the bodies of the four sect leaders have turned into piles of bones; we can't tell anything from them."
"Although they've been dead for quite some time, under normal circumstances, they shouldn't have turned into piles of bones, right?" Ximen Lin frowned slightly and murmured.
"I once saw someone instantly turn into a pool of blood, leaving not even bones behind. The deaths of the four sect leaders were already bizarre; perhaps they were poisoned. However, none of us are proficient in poisons, and there are only piles of bones here. I'm afraid we won't be able to find anything." Hua Ruoxu sighed softly. He found it strange that he wasn't afraid of poisons. Could it be because of the effects of the Love Sword? It seemed he would have to ask Hua Tianxing about
it sometime. "Alliance Leader, Miss Hanxue is skilled in medicine; you can have her take a look," Zhao Changkong suggested from the side. Hua Ruoxu probably always treated Hanxue as an immature little girl, so he almost never considered asking her for help.
"Xiaoxue is angry. She didn't see you when she woke up this morning," Ximen Lin whispered. Hua Ruoxu's face flushed slightly. Last night, he had gone to Hua Feimeng's place after coaxing Hanxue to sleep.
*** *** ***
"Xiaoxue." Hua Ruoxu sat down on the edge of the bed. This little girl was clearly awake but deliberately turned her head away from him. She was quite something; she had been angry since this morning and hadn't calmed down yet.
"Xiaoxue, it's noon. It's time to get up." Hua Ruoxu gently patted her pink face and said softly.
"I won't get up! I won't get up!" Hanxue pouted.
"Xiaoxue, don't be angry. It's my fault. I won't sneak away again." Helpless, Hua Ruoxu had no choice but to start coaxing her. "
Young Master, you have to keep your word. You can't go back on your word." Hanxue was indeed easy to coax. As soon as she heard this, she was happy and immediately sat up, throwing herself into Hua Ruoxu's arms.
"Xiaoxue, was your illness cured at the Medical Valley?" Hua Ruoxu asked in a low voice as he helped her put on her outer clothes.
"Yes, young master, you haven't asked about her at all in so long." Hanxue pouted again.
"Xiaoxue, did you learn all your medical skills in the Medical Valley?" Hua Ruoxu asked again.
"Yes, young master, let me tell you, Xiaoxue is amazing! Master said others take at least three years to learn, but I only needed six months." Hanxue's eyes showed a hint of sadness as she spoke. "Master is very good to me, but I have to stay with you, young master, and I can't stay with Master anymore."
"Xiaoxue, you can visit your master later," Hua Ruoxu gently comforted her. "By the way, Xiaoxue, do you know a lot about poisons?"
"Hehe, young master, Xiaoxue knows everything related to medicine, of course I know about poisons too!" Hanxue was a little proud, and also showing off in front of Hua Ruoxu.
When Hua Ruoxu carried Hanxue to the pile of white bones, Hanxue was so frightened that she burrowed into Hua Ruoxu's arms and dared not look up.
"Young master, these things are so, so scary." Hanxue's face was pale. It seemed that she hadn't fully mastered the skills yet; a doctor shouldn't be afraid of corpses.
"Forget it, Changkong, seal these up first, and we'll think of another way," Hua Ruoxu said after a slight hesitation.
"Young Master, are these things... very important?" Hanxue raised her head, looking pitifully at Hua Ruoxu. Hua Ruoxu hesitated slightly, then nodded.
"Young Master, please... put Xiaoxue down!" Hanxue seemed calmer, but her tone was still somewhat strained.
Hanxue gently patted her chest, took a deep breath, abruptly closed her eyes, then opened them again, and walked towards a pile of bones.
Her small hand trembled slightly as she reached for one of the bones; everyone seemed to hear Hanxue's teeth chattering.
"Xiaoxue, if you're really scared, just forget it, it's alright." Hua Ruoxu was somewhat reluctant.
Hua Ruoxu's words seemed to have a significant effect. Hanxue gritted her teeth, took out a small pair of tongs from her bosom, picked up a bone, and examined it closely.
After about fifteen minutes, Hanxue finally dropped the bone and turned to throw herself into Hua Ruoxu's arms. Hua Ruoxu could still faintly feel her trembling body and the pounding of her heart.
"Young...Young Master, Xiaoxue will tell you later, okay?" Hanxue said timidly. Hua Ruoxu nodded; he hadn't expected Hanxue to be so afraid.
"Sister Lin, let me take Xiaoxue back to her room first. You can make arrangements here, and properly place the remains and memorial tablets of the sect leaders." Hua Ruoxu said to Ximen Lin, who nodded gently.
Watching Hua Ruoxu's retreating figure, Zheng Yunfan, Zhou Changfeng, and Huimin were all puzzled. Although they had only been there a short time, they had noticed that the women around Hua Ruoxu all seemed to have special relationships with him, leaving them all confused.
Hua
Yufeng had already spent a considerable amount of time with the disciples of the four sects, and they all had a good impression of her. Therefore, settling the disciples in went smoothly for her. Although the place was a bit crowded, it was still manageable. However, Hua Yufeng began to worry because, to be honest, Hua Ruoxu had virtually no money. She was currently relying on loans from the Martial Arts Academy, but the Academy didn't have many sources of funding either, mostly consisting of donations from its disciples. Therefore, with so many people suddenly arriving, hosting them would be a problem.
Although Hua Tianxing had mentioned she seemed to have a lot of money, she hadn't actually given any to the Hua family. However, it was reasonable to assume that Hua Tianxing needed some money to support so many people. Perhaps she could only go to her now, since the Tianxing Alliance was newly established and had no source of income, unlike many martial arts sects that actually had other ways to make money.
Hua Ruoxu had just entered her room when Hua Yufeng followed closely behind.
"Feng'er." Seeing Hua Yufeng, Hua Ruoxu felt much relieved and hugged her without saying a word.
"Junior brother, is Xiaoxue alright? I heard you just took her back." Hua Yufeng let him hug her and asked softly.
"She's fine. She's terrified of seeing dead people and corpses. It was really tough on her just now." Hua Ruoxu felt a little amused. Hanxue seemed to be afraid of nothing, except dead people, and yet she insisted on her medical skills.
"The disciples have all been settled, and they're all relatively calm. They seem to have accepted this change." Hua Yufeng thought for a moment and said, "It's just that we probably can't support so many people now. Feeding hundreds of people every day is very expensive."

Volume 7, Chapter 13, The Unpredictable Stars.

"I'll go find my sister." Hua Ruoxu said after a moment of silence, feeling a mix of emotions. He had once said that enough money was enough, but now he realized it was far from enough. Moreover, he had never mentioned where he earned his money, and the thought made him feel ashamed.
"Junior brother, what exactly is Tianxing's background?" Hua Yufeng asked after a moment's hesitation. She always felt something was off about this mysterious and exceptionally beautiful woman.
"Her... her background... I'm afraid you won't believe it if I tell you." Hua Ruoxu hesitated for a moment, his tone becoming somewhat elusive, a hint of confusion in his eyes. He said softly, "Even now, I often doubt that all of this is real, yet it all feels so real."
"Then why does Qingyue seem to know her too? Could it be..." Hua Yufeng suddenly looked up at Hua Ruoxu, "...that it's related to the Sword of Love?"
"Sister looks like a fairy untouched by worldly affairs. I think everyone who sees her feels that way." Hua Ruoxu nodded gently, his tone filled with a dreamy quality. "Actually, because she doesn't belong to this mortal realm, she is a celestial fairy. She is actually the sword spirit of the Sword of Love. I can say that my current achievements are all because of her."
"Sword spirit? What's that?" Even with her vast knowledge, Hua Yufeng had never heard of a sword spirit.
“Feng’er, the sword spirit is the soul within the sword. Actually, I don’t know much about it, but my sister has always been very good to me, so we don’t need to worry too much,” Hua Ruoxu said softly, tightening his grip on Hua Yufeng. “I’m going to find my sister now, I’ll be back tonight.”
“Sister?” Watching Hua Ruoxu’s retreating figure, Hua Yufeng sighed softly. Her womanly intuition told her that Hua Ruoxu had a strange feeling for Hua Tianxing, something far more than just sisterly affection.
*** *** ***
As usual, Hua Tianxing sat quietly in the room, waiting for Hua Ruoxu’s arrival. He always managed to find her whenever he wanted to, as if she had never left. Of course, she could indeed stay, because she didn’t need to eat or sleep, nor did she go out to play like a typical young girl.
“Sister.” Hua Ruoxu appeared silently at the door, a strange feeling welling up inside him. He really wanted to see her, but he had slowly begun to fear seeing her, so he rarely came here unless absolutely necessary.
"Little brother, come in if you miss your sister. What are you doing standing at the door?" Hua Tianxing smiled sweetly, and Hua Ruoxu was instantly dazzled. Even her gentle smile was breathtaking; this beauty, seemingly untouched by the world, left him momentarily stunned.
"Hehe, you lecherous little brother, isn't your sister pretty? You're staring at her like a daze. But you look so cute, little brother." Hua Tianxing chuckled as she walked to the door, her words leaving Hua Ruoxu utterly embarrassed.
"Sister…" Hua Ruoxu called out, about to say something, but was interrupted.
"Little brother, come play with your sister for a while. We'll talk about it later." Hua Tianxing placed her snow-white hand in Hua Ruoxu's palm, and he involuntarily squeezed it tightly, never wanting to let go. Her hand seemed a little cool, yet very soft, and a strange feeling welled up inside Hua Ruoxu, a slight excitement. The slight skin contact brought him immense shock; this feeling seemed unlike anything he had ever experienced before.
"Come on, silly little brother." Hua Tianxing tugged at him, and Hua Ruoxu finally snapped out of his daze.
In Jinling City, a young man and woman in white robes walked hand in hand, strolling slowly side by side. The young man was handsome and refined, while the young woman was breathtakingly beautiful, almost like a celestial being. The young woman occasionally let out a silvery giggle, drawing the attention of passersby. Both men and women instinctively revealed expressions of envy and jealousy. The men envied the young man's good fortune in having such a beautiful woman by his side, and were also jealous of him. The women, however, were filled with envy and jealousy of the young woman's beauty—a transcendent beauty that made them feel ashamed of themselves.
"Sister, where are you going?" Perhaps no one in Jinling's martial arts world would imagine that Hua Ruoxu, who had recently seized power from the four major sects at the Ye family's hands and was the first lay leader of the Shaolin Sect, was now strolling with a young woman. However, if they saw Hua Tianxing, they would find it perfectly normal, because no one would think that any man could resist the charm of such a beautiful woman.
"I don't know, anywhere is fine," Hua Tianxing said casually, seemingly unconcerned. Suddenly, his eyes lit up. "Little brother, look! That necklace is so pretty! Let's go take a look!"
Following Hua Tianxing's finger, Hua Ruoxu saw a jewelry store by the roadside, Mingyue Jewelry Store. Above the counter hung a necklace, sparkling brightly.
"Sister, do you want it?" Hua Ruoxu asked softly. Hua Tianxing had already pulled him into the store, staring intently at the necklace.
"Yes, it's so pretty, little brother, will you buy it for me?" Hua Tianxing giggled. The middle-aged shopkeeper, however, couldn't take his eyes off Hua Tianxing, staring intently.
"Shopkeeper!" Hua Ruoxu called out three times, but the shopkeeper didn't respond, still gazing at Hua Tianxing with infatuation.
"Shopkeeper!" Hua Tianxing suddenly roared. He couldn't stand the shopkeeper's gaze, and his roar carried a hint of anger, finally waking the shopkeeper from his reverie.
"Young master, young lady, what would you like?" The shopkeeper paused, rubbed his eyes, and finally believed he wasn't dreaming.
"How much is this necklace?" Hua Ruoxu knew he couldn't afford it, but asking might allow him to buy it later.
"Five thousand taels. If this young lady wants it, I can give you a discount," the shopkeeper said, looking at Hua Tianxing.
"Sister, can I buy it for you later?" Hua Ruoxu's voice was low, a hint of shame in his tone.
"But what if someone else buys it later?" Hua Tianxing seemed reluctant.
"But, but..." Hua Ruoxu felt a pang of bitterness. Where would he get that much money?
"Hehe, little brother, I was just teasing you. I was just looking. I don't want it. Let's go." Hua Tianxing's face showed a sly look as she cheerfully pulled Hua Ruoxu out.
Hua Ruoxu breathed a slight sigh of relief, but still felt uneasy. As they left the jewelry store, two pairs of eyes were watching them intently.

“Mei’er, was that Hua Ruoxu we just saw at Mingyue Jewelry Store?” a voice asked, sounding surprised and envious. “The girl beside him is so beautiful!”
“Princess, it’s him. That girl has appeared a few times, but no one knows her name yet; she’s very mysterious,” another melodious female voice replied.
“Who is she? Even Ouyang Bing’er, hailed as the most beautiful woman in the martial arts world, isn’t as beautiful as her. How does Hua Ruoxu know her?” the princess murmured.
“Princess, Hua Ruoxu has many stunning women around him, and they don’t seem to be ordinary people,” Mei’er interjected.
The princess pondered for a long time, seemingly lost in thought.
“Princess, should we choose him?” Mei’er asked again.
“Hua Ruoxu is too sentimental; he can’t do what we need to do,” the princess slowly shook her head. “However, perhaps he can be useful.” The princess seemed still hesitant.

It wasn’t until sunset that Hua Tianxing and Hua Ruoxu returned to her small house.
"Sister, why don't you come to my place? I can prepare a separate house for you, so you won't be disturbed." Hua Ruoxu was a little hesitant to see her, yet he longed to see her every day.
Hua Tianxing's bright eyes shone, lingering on Hua Ruoxu's face for a few moments before she suddenly giggled.
"Silly little brother, you're getting naughtier and naughtier." Hua Tianxing leaned close to Hua Ruoxu's ear, chuckling softly, "Tell me, are you planning to hide me away, to keep me as a mistress?"
Hua Ruoxu's handsome face flushed red, and he glanced at Hua Tianxing guiltily, feeling incredibly embarrassed.
"Hehe, you lecherous little brother, I won't fall for your tricks. I'm not going to your place." Hua Tianxing said, noticing the disappointed look on Hua Ruoxu's face. As if to comfort him, she wrapped her arms around Hua Ruoxu's neck, her pretty face almost touching his. "Come on, let me give you a hug."

Poor Hua Ruoxu was completely at a loss. His outstretched hand stopped mid-air after hearing her last sentence, unsure whether to hug or not.
"Hehe, you can also kiss me!" Hua Tianxing added.
"Sister, I, I..." Hua Ruoxu stammered, not knowing what to say.
"Coward!" Hua Tianxing muttered to herself, looking somewhat unhappy as she released her arms from Hua Ruoxu's neck. Hua Ruoxu finally breathed a sigh of relief, but also felt a little disappointed.

When Hua Ruoxu came out of Hua Tianxing's place, the sky was full of stars. Although he was dizzy from Hua Tianxing's antics, he sobered up as soon as he came out.
When he left, Hua Tianxing gave him a seal and a silver token, supposedly a certificate that could be used to withdraw money from any bank. However, Hua Ruoxu never mentioned asking for money.
Recalling his time with Hua Tianxing, Hua Ruoxu couldn't help but feel suspicious again. He felt that Hua Tianxing still seemed to know what he was thinking.
"You're finally back! Xiaoxue has been looking for you everywhere." As soon as he entered, Hua Yufeng looked helpless.
At noon, Hua Ruoxu saw that Hanxue was very scared, so he took her back to her room and coaxed her to sleep. Hanxue's body hadn't fully recovered and she was still quite weak. Seeing Hua Ruoxu by her side, she felt more at ease and slept soundly. However, not long after Hua Ruoxu left, the little girl woke up and started looking for him all over the house. She had basically visited every room, leaving Hua Yufeng at a loss.
"Feng'er, this is from my sister. She said you can withdraw money from any bank." Hua Ruoxu gave a wry smile and handed the gift Hua Tianxing had given him to Hua Yufeng. "I'll go see Xiaoxue."
Hua Ruoxu walked into the hall. Almost everyone was there, and they all breathed a sigh of relief, as they had all been frightened by Hanxue's harassment.
"Everyone should get some rest." Hua Ruoxu was somewhat amused and exasperated. Hanxue pouted and slumped into a chair, ignoring Hua Ruoxu when he returned. It seemed she was throwing another little tantrum.
Hua Ruoxu didn't say anything and simply carried her into the house.
"Xiaoxue, I promise I won't leave tonight. Go to sleep early; you're not fully recovered yet." It was strange, considering Hanxue's medical skills were so good, yet she hadn't even fully recovered herself.
"Young Master, you're just lying to Xiaoxue. I don't believe you." Hanxue's voice was full of grievance.
"Xiaoxue, I won't lie to you anymore, really." Hua Ruoxu took off his boots and coat, hugged Hanxue, and snuggled into the blankets, speaking softly.
Hanxue seemed a little shy, no longer speaking, burying her head in Hua Ruoxu's chest.
"Young Master, that pile of things you showed me today, that person was poisoned with a very potent poison before they died." After a while, Hanxue looked up with her rosy cheeks and said sweetly.
"Xiaoxue, do you know what kind of poison it is?" Hua Ruoxu was slightly taken aback; it seemed things were indeed as he had expected.
"I don't know the exact name, but I know how it was made, and I can cure it." Hanxue shifted her body, finding a more comfortable position. "This poison can cause a person to lose all their internal energy, but it won't be noticeable until they circulate their energy. Before that, they're perfectly normal. However, it seems the medicine these people made wasn't very good; they added an extra ingredient, which caused the corpse to decompose very quickly."
"Xiaoxue, have you found anything else?" Hua Ruoxu thought for a moment and then asked.
"No, but young master, I was so scared of those things," Hanxue nestled in Hua Ruoxu's arms, acting coquettishly.
Hua Ruoxu gently held Hanxue, whose breathing gradually became even, and she drifted off to sleep. Meanwhile, Hua Ruoxu's mind raced.
He reviewed all the recent events and finally pieced together a rough outline. Ye Bu'er infiltrated the Demon Palace, becoming its protector. Using this identity, he contacted the Poison Sect and eventually seized control. The deaths of the four sect leaders were likely orchestrated by Ye Bu'er, who first poisoned them and then staged a false incident. But if that's the case, it means others knew the unique martial arts of the four sect leaders. How did they know? Could it be related to the Immortal Palace? Or the Divine Palace? The attack he and Su Dai'er suffered a few months ago was most likely orchestrated by Ye Bu'er. But if that's the case, what is the relationship between Ye Bu'er and Nangong Feiyun? And can Fei Xu's words be confirmed?
Hua Ruoxu pondered and pondered, but still couldn't unravel the relationship between them.

(Volume 7, Chapter 14: A Pact of Unparalleled Love)

Perhaps feeling safe and comfortable in Hua Ruoxu's arms, Hanxue remained in bed until late morning, unwilling to get up. Hua Ruoxu had woken up early, but couldn't get up, as he had promised not to leave while she slept. He could only helplessly wait for her to finish sleeping before letting him get up.
"Xiaoxue, Xiaoxue," Hua Ruoxu gently pinched her cute little nose, because he heard someone approaching.
"Young Master, I still want to sleep," Hanxue mumbled indistinctly, her eyes still closed.
A soft knock sounded at the door, followed by Hua Yufeng's gentle voice: "Junior Brother, are you up?"
"Feng'er, come in," Hua Ruoxu responded. Hua Yufeng pushed open the door and saw the two still embracing in bed, her pretty face blushing.
"Why aren't you up yet?" Hua Yufeng, embarrassed and slightly annoyed, glared at Hua Ruoxu.
"Feng'er, is something wrong?" Hua Ruoxu looked at Hanxue, who was still sleeping soundly in his arms, with an extremely helpless expression, and sighed softly.
"Nothing much, just a few guests." Hua Yufeng finally noticed that Hua Ruoxu and Hanxue were both properly dressed, and her shyness lessened somewhat. "Also, Princess Wushuang sent an invitation. She will be hosting a banquet at Piaoxiang Restaurant tonight at 5 PM, and will be entertaining you alone."
*** *** ***
Hua Ruoxu finally got up, but Hanxue was still curled up in his arms sleeping. He carried her out. When they arrived at the hall, they saw three beautiful young women. After a cursory glance, they were all quite attractive. Opposite them, Fang Xia stood there awkwardly, looking somewhat uneasy.
"Feng'er, who are they?" Hua Ruoxu frowned. How did this place become a haven for beauties? The whole room was full of pretty young women.
After hearing Hua Yufeng's whispered introduction, Hua Ruoxu learned that these three young women were also quite famous. They were sworn sisters, collectively known as the Three Beauties of Dongting. As Hua Ruoxu listened to Hua Yufeng's introduction, he began to observe them more carefully. The girl in blue standing directly opposite Fang Xia, looking at him with a resentful expression, was named Lan Xuerou. She seemed to live up to her name, with skin as white as snow and a gentle personality. However, her eyes were a little too small, making her face look somewhat unbalanced. Of course, there was no doubt that she was a stunning beauty, ranked ninth on the Phoenix Ranking, and the youngest of the three sisters. The girl to Lan Xuerou's right was dressed in red, with a slender and graceful figure. However, compared to Lan Xuerou, her skin was a little too dark, but she gave off a vibrant and healthy feeling. Her name was also delicate, Hong Yue'er, ranked eighth on the Phoenix Ranking. Finally, the woman in white was their eldest sister, named Bai Xinjing, ranked seventh on the Phoenix Ranking. She stood there quietly, exuding a noble and elegant aura. Her white clothes were as white as snow, but her only flaw was that her eyebrows were too thick, and she looked somewhat cold, making people hesitant to approach her.
The Three Beauties of Dongting Lake are mostly active in the Dongting Lake area. Each of them possesses superb underwater skills, but their land skills are average. This is why they rarely leave Dongting Lake; once they leave the water, they are just ordinary martial artists, but on the water, few dare to cause them trouble.
The reason they appeared here this time was because of Fang Xia. Lan Xuerou and Fang Xia were old acquaintances. About two years ago, Lan Xuerou met Fang Xia and gradually fell deeply in love with him. Unfortunately, her love was unrequited, and Fang Xia remained unmoved.
Bai Xinjing and Hong Yue'er, seeing their younger sister's lack of appetite, finally couldn't bear it and brought her here to find her lover.

"Young Master, don't make a fuss, I want to sleep a little longer," Han Xue's muffled voice rang out. Hua Feimeng, who was initially somewhat dissatisfied with Han Xue, couldn't help but chuckle. The Three Beauties of Dongting Lake also turned to look at them.
Hua Ruoxu's face showed a hint of embarrassment, while Hua Yufeng chuckled to herself beside him.
"Feng'er, please entertain the three young ladies for me. I'll take Xiaoxue back to her room first." Hua Ruoxu still felt a little embarrassed and turned to take Hanxue back.
"Wait." A melodious voice, like that of a nightingale, rang out from behind. Hua Ruoxu turned around and saw Bai Xinjing in white.
"May I ask if this gentleman is Hua Ruoxu, the leader of the Tianxing Alliance?" Bai Xinjing's voice was pleasant, but her tone seemed somewhat stiff, perhaps it was just her natural way of speaking.
"I am indeed Hua Ruoxu. May I ask what you require, Miss Bai?" Hua Ruoxu nodded.
"I wouldn't dare to give orders, Young Master Hua is too kind." Bai Xinjing hesitated slightly before saying, "I've heard that Young Master Fang is a subordinate of Young Master Hua. Is that true?"
"That is indeed the case. Brother Fang is currently a member of my Tianxing Alliance." Hua Ruoxu still didn't know what Bai Xinjing was up to.
"I wonder if Young Master Hua would welcome the three of us sisters?" Bai Xinjing hesitated for a moment, then finally spoke as if she had made up her mind.
Hua Ruoxu pondered slightly. He knew very little about these three people. On the surface, it seemed that Bai Xinjing and the others wanted to join the Heavenly Star Alliance for Fang Xia's sake, but he didn't know if there were other reasons.
"I wonder how much Miss Bai knows about the Heavenly Star Alliance?" Hua Ruoxu asked, frowning.
"Well, Young Master Hua, we don't know much," Bai Xinjing replied honestly, though slightly taken aback.
“Miss Bai, since you know almost nothing about my Heavenly Star Alliance, there’s no point in rushing to join. I think the three of you should stay here for a few days and learn more before making a decision,” Hua Ruoxu said with a faint smile, then turned to Hua Yufeng and said, “Feng’er, please arrange guest rooms for the three of you.”
*** *** ***
Hua Ruoxu tucked Hanxue into the blankets, then turned around. Ximen Lin was standing at the door.
“Sister Lin, do you think they might have other intentions?” Hua Ruoxu asked.
“I don’t see anything wrong with them at the moment, but we should still be on the safe side,” Ximen Lin shook her head and said.
“By the way, Sister Lin, how are those disciples doing now?” Hua Ruoxu thought for a moment and then asked.
“With Xiaoxue’s help, their skills have greatly improved, but they still lack combat experience. Although Changfeng and I often spar with them, it’s not a real fight, so the effect isn’t very good,” Ximen Lin sighed softly. Perhaps they need to experience a real bloody battle.
"Young Master!" Hanxue suddenly cried out in surprise, sitting up with her eyes wide open, scanning the room.
"Young Master, you're still here? Then Xiaoxue will go back to sleep." Hanxue seemed relieved to see Hua Ruoxu, mumbled something, and then burrowed back into the covers.
Hua Ruoxu and Ximen Lin exchanged glances, unsure whether to laugh or cry.
*** *** ****
"Young Master Hua, please follow me." At the hour of You (5-7 PM), Hua Ruoxu had just arrived at Piaoxiang Restaurant when someone came to lead the way.
A quiet private room, isolated from the rest of the restaurant, held a table laden with food and wine, and a beautiful young woman.
"Young Master Hua is indeed punctual." The young woman stood up gracefully, slowly raising her head to reveal a delicate face, but it didn't give Hua Ruoxu a sense of awe. The young woman wore a light yellow dress, with white gauze wrapped around her wrists and neck, and apart from her rosy cheeks, not an inch of skin was visible.
"Are you Princess Wushuang, young lady?" Hua Ruoxu asked after a slight hesitation.
"Does Young Master Hua think I don't look like her?" The girl smiled slightly.
"I just didn't expect the princess to be so approachable." Hua Ruoxu smiled faintly. "The princess summoned a commoner like myself, but I wonder what her orders are?" "
I just wish to have a drink and a chat with Young Master Hua. I wonder if Young Master Hua would be willing to have a drink with me?" Princess Wushuang seemed to have no airs whatsoever, and did not seem to have the unique nobility of royalty. "Young Master Hua, please sit down." Saying this
, she sat down first. "How dare I disobey the princess's orders?" Hua Ruoxu sat opposite Princess Wushuang and picked up his wine cup. "Princess, please!"
"I heard that Young Master Hua already has a wife. Is that true?" Princess Wushuang asked, seemingly knowing the answer already, while her beautiful eyes swept over Hua Ruoxu's face twice.
"Your Highness is right, I am indeed married." Hua Ruoxu nodded, a little puzzled. Could it be that Princess Wushuang was truly only looking for a husband? Otherwise, why would she ask him this question?
"Yesterday at Mingyue Jewelry Store, I saw Young Master Hua with a woman as beautiful as a fairy. Is that your wife?" Princess Wushuang asked curiously.
"So Your Highness has already met me." Hua Ruoxu's heart skipped a beat, but a hint of embarrassment appeared on his face. "However, Your Highness misunderstands. She is just a friend of mine."
"I see. Then, Young Master Hua, could you introduce her to my younger sister? My elder brother in the capital is of marriageable age, and he's asking me to find him a future Crown Princess." A sly glint flashed in Princess Wushuang's eyes. "
Your Highness, I'm afraid I can't help you with that." Hua Ruoxu's mind went blank for a moment, and he said in a low voice.
Princess Wushuang secretly felt a little smug seeing Hua Ruoxu's nervous expression, but she didn't press him further about Hua Tianxing. She continued to ask Hua Ruoxu about his personal matters, never venturing into anything else. Hua Ruoxu's doubts gradually lessened, but he became increasingly confused. Did Princess Wushuang really want to choose him as her husband? Although he wasn't so presumptuous, Princess Wushuang's behavior tonight gave him that impression.
*** *** ***
"Princess, is this enough?" A young girl's voice rang out after Hua Ruoxu left.
"It's enough. I'm never wrong about people. Although it's only been an hour, I can already see his character." Another voice chimed in, "Mei'er, it seems we'll have to find someone else. He's basically the same as the rumors say—overly sentimental, possessing unparalleled martial arts skills, but hesitant in his actions."
"Princess, then who should we choose?" Mei'er asked, somewhat perplexed.
“Mei’er, of these three—Nangong Feiyun, Feng Guoyun, and Fang Xia—which one do you think would be the best husband?” the princess suddenly asked softly.
“Princess, I don’t think they’re all good enough for you,” Mei’er said softly. “In comparison, in terms of character and martial arts, Hua Ruoxu is far superior to them. Besides, you yourself said that Hua Ruoxu is a man of deep affection; if he marries you, he will surely cherish you.”
“Mei’er, I want more than just a husband,” the princess sighed softly. “Moreover, Hua Ruoxu already has a wife; I can’t possibly marry such a man.”
“But Princess, after meeting so many others, you still wanted to see him alone. Doesn’t that mean you still have hopes for him?” Mei’er said somewhat urgently. “Moreover, I believe that with your charm, Hua Ruoxu would definitely be willing to do anything for you.”
“Mei’er, stop talking. I’ve already decided to choose one of the three,” the princess shook her head, stopping Mei’er from continuing.
“Princess, you…you’re simply wasting your life!” Mei’er finally couldn’t hold back anymore and said indignantly.
“Everyone has to give something in return for something they gain. I’ve received so much since I was a child, and now it’s time for me to give something in return.” The princess’s voice held a hint of helplessness and melancholy.
“Your Highness, I still don’t understand why we have to find someone from the martial arts world to help us. Don’t we have the ability ourselves?” Mei’er still seemed somewhat unwilling.
“Martial arts matters should be resolved in the martial arts world. We’re not suited to directly intervene,” the princess said softly.
“Your Highness, which one will you choose?” Mei’er asked after a moment of silence.
“Let’s wait a few days. I can’t be sure yet.” The princess pondered, another thought popping into her mind—perhaps that would be a better choice.
Meanwhile, Hua Ruoxu had just returned to the Hua residence. After entering, he hesitated slightly before turning into Hua Yufeng’s room. After seeing Princess Wushuang today, he found his mind filled with doubts.
