Love and Sword [Complete] - 18

In Volume Seven, Chapter One: A Dilemma,

Ye Bu'er set up two banquet tables, and the location was surprisingly in the Ye family's basement—a very secluded basement. Not many people were invited. Of the seven major sects, except for Mount Hua, the leaders of the other six sects were all present, as were the four masters from Ye Bu'er's own sects. Among the four great families, Xue Mingfeng of the Xue family, Feng Yundong of the Feng family, Yue Tianying of the Yue family, and Hua Cuo of the Hua family were also invited. Ye Bu'er's beloved daughter, Ye Wuying, was naturally also present.
"Master Ye, why isn't Miss Hua the Second?" Master Yuanguang asked, somewhat surprised.
"Miss Hua the Second was unable to attend due to other commitments," Ye Bu'er replied with a slight smile, seemingly unconcerned.
"I wonder what brings Master Ye here to discuss with everyone?" Although two tables of food were set up, judging from the setup, it was clear that the gathering wasn't for drinking, hence Master Yuanguang's inquiry.
"Master, please don't rush, everyone. The food and wine are ready, please have some." Ye Bu'er greeted them warmly, but a hint of confusion appeared in Ye Wuying's eyes.
After a few rounds of drinks, Ye Bu'er stood up and began to speak.
"I invited all the sect leaders here today because I have something to announce." Ye Bu'er smiled slightly, "From today onwards, the alliance of the seven sects and four families will be merged into my Jinling Ye family. I wonder if anyone has any objections?" A smug expression appeared on Ye Bu'er's face.
The reactions of the crowd varied. Some remained silent, as if they already knew about this, while several others trembled, their faces changing, and they were about to stand up, but their faces immediately turned ashen.
"Master Ye, this old monk doesn't quite understand what you mean." Master Yuanguang chanted a Buddhist prayer softly and slowly stood up.
"From today onwards, all disciples of the Seven Sects and Four Families Alliance must obey my orders and follow my commands without question. I wonder if Master understands?" Ye Bu'er sneered.
"Father, what are you doing..." Ye Wuying exclaimed in surprise. "Wuying, this is
none of your business. You stay here and behave yourself," Ye Bu'er said lightly, not letting Ye Wuying continue.
Master Yuanguang secretly pondered the situation, a sense of foreboding rising in his heart. Although the situation was unclear, he could clearly sense that Ye Bu'er was confident of victory.
"I think Master has no objections now, right?" Ye Bu'er smiled coldly, a cruel glint in his eyes. Suddenly, he moved slightly, his palms clashing as he lunged at Wudang Sect Leader Qingyun, Emei Sect Leader Huiyue, and Qingcheng Sect Leader Zheng Zhengxiong. The palm wind was fierce, and Master Yuanguang was shocked. Ye Bu'er was actually using the Shaolin Sect's Blazing Sun Palm, a technique that even in Shaolin, only the sect leader could cultivate. He never expected it to appear on Ye Bu'er.
Several screams rang out, and the three of them collapsed to the ground, lifeless, without any resistance.
"Father, you, how could you..." Ye Wuying's delicate body trembled slightly, seemingly unable to believe what she had seen.
"Ye Bu'er, your methods are ruthless!" A feeling of grief and indignation welled up in Master Yuanguang's heart.
"Is that so?" Ye Bu'er seemed not to hear his daughter's question, giving Master Yuanguang a faint smile. He then turned and nodded to the four people behind him. Qingcheng's Zheng Xingying, Emei's Huixin, and Wudang's Qingfeng simultaneously sprang to their feet, attacking Master Yuanguang with techniques that were not passed down by the leaders of their respective sects.
Master Yuanguang tried to resist, but sadly found that he had no strength left. The next moment, he collapsed to the ground.
"Hahaha..." Ye Bu'er laughed wildly, his voice deafening, shaking even the basement. Ye Wuying stared blankly at her father, hoping that all of this was just a dream.

Hua Yufeng led Fang Xia and Hua Feihua straight to the Hua residence.
"Junior brother, Young Master Fang's senior sister, Sun Yunyan, has fallen into Baili Hu's hands. You must quickly find Su Dai'er and tell her to tell Baili Hu to release her," Hua Yufeng said urgently to Hua Ruoxu.
"Sun Yunyan?" Hua Ruoxu couldn't help but think of Ge Yunxiang, a vague sense of unease creeping over him. "She's been captured, why isn't Ge Yunxiang going to rescue her?"
"Brother Hua, I've never begged anyone before, but today I'm begging you to save my senior sister. I, Fang Xia, will be eternally grateful." Fang Xia had never been so anxious, nor so distraught. "
Brother Fang, Baili Hu isn't always obedient to Dai'er. Even if I go to Dai'er now, I can't guarantee I can rescue your senior sister," Hua Ruoxu said after a moment's thought. Baili Hu had plotted against him more than once.
"Just go and try it out. As long as you do your best, no one will blame you!" Hua Yufeng interjected, and then Hua Ruoxu heard her voice transmission again, "This is a good opportunity. Perhaps Fang Xia can become your good helper in the future."
"Alright, but Dai'er has always disliked me bringing others along, so Brother Fang, why don't you stay with my Tianxing Alliance for now? I'll try my best to bring your senior sister back safely." Hua Ruoxu pondered for a moment, nodded, and then said to Hua Yufeng, "Second Senior Sister, please take care of her for me. There's no time to lose, I'll go find Dai'er now!"
Having agreed to help, Hua Ruoxu no longer hesitated. With a flash, he transformed into a faint white shadow and disappeared outside the Hua Mansion.

"Young Master, didn't you just leave?" Seeing Hua Ruoxu return, Liu Yun seemed a little surprised.
"Liu Yun, where is Dai'er? Is she inside?" Hua Ruoxu didn't want to explain to her, because it wouldn't make a difference.
"Miss hasn't gotten up yet." Liu Yun said, her face flushing slightly. Su Dai'er hadn't gotten up yet, most likely because Hua Ruoxu hadn't left last night.
"Brother Ruoxu, you missed me so quickly?" Su Dai'er sat up in bed, lazily stretched, and giggled at Hua Ruoxu who had just entered.
"Dai'er, can you find Baili Hu?" Hua Ruoxu was a little anxious, but his tone was still gentle.
"Help me get dressed." Su Dai'er gently plucked the strings of the zither hanging by the bed, and at the same time jumped up from the bed and pounced on Hua Ruoxu.
Hua Ruoxu had no choice but to quickly help her get dressed. Based on his experience, Su Dai'er plucking the strings meant she was calling someone in, and if he wasn't quick, she might expose herself.
"Brother Ruoxu, why are you looking for the Third Elder?" Su Dai'er asked sweetly while enjoying Hua Ruoxu's service.
"Baili Hu has kidnapped Sun Yunyan of the Kunlun Sect. Dai'er, could you please ask him to release her?" Hua Ruoxu stated his purpose.
"Brother Ruoxu, what's your relationship with her?" Su Dai'er pouted, seemingly unhappy.
"I'm not familiar with her at all, but her junior brother and I are friends. He seems very concerned about her." Hua Ruoxu finally managed to dress her, but it took a lot of effort, as he also had to resist the temptation of this little devil.
"Palace Master!" A voice came from the doorway.
"Elder Lu, take Brother Ruoxu to the Third Elder and ask him to hand Sun Yunyan over to Brother Ruoxu." Su Dai'er remained in Hua Ruoxu's arms. "
Your subordinate obeys!" Lu Yunchang bowed and replied, then said to Hua Ruoxu, "Young Master Hua, please follow me!"
*** *** ***
Hua Ruoxu followed Lu Yunchang for a considerable distance before stopping in front of a cluster of pink buildings.
"Third Elder!" Lu Yunchang called out in a deep voice.
"Elder Lu, what brings you to see me?" Baili Hu giggled, appearing before the two draped in a pink veil.
"Hand over Sun Yunyan to Young Master Hua, that's the Palace Master's order!" Lu Yunchang's face remained expressionless, unresponsive to Baili Hu's teasing.
"So it's Young Master Hua. What, does Young Master Hua also have his eye on Sun Yunyan?" Baili Hu acted as if she had just noticed Hua Ruoxu, constantly throwing flirtatious glances at him. "Young Master Hua is in luck, you can just now see Sun Yunyan acting all coquettish, hee hee."
"Baili Hu, stop with the nonsense! And I'm warning you, Young Master Hua is the Palace Master's husband. If you dare to make a move on him, don't blame me for being impolite!" Lu Yunchang snorted coldly. "Even the Grand Elder won't be able to protect you then!"
"Sun Yunyan is inside." Baili Hu's expression changed slightly, her wanton demeanor instantly becoming more restrained. She pointed to a small room in the middle and said to Hua Ruoxu.

"Young Master Hua, you can go in and take your men away." Lu Yunchang smiled slightly at Hua Ruoxu, then turned to Baili Hu and coldly snorted, "Baili Hu, you come with me!"
"Brother Hua, enjoy yourself." As Hua Ruoxu stepped into the small house, he heard Baili Hu's voice transmission. He was slightly startled, feeling a little uneasy.
*** *** ***
"Baili Hu, do you know why I called you here?" Lu Yunchang looked at Baili Hu coldly.
"Elder Lu, we are all of equal status, why do you have to yell at me?" Baili Hu's face was no longer filled with the foxy expression, and his tone was flat.
"I just want to tell you that in the Demon Palace, the Palace Master's orders cannot be disobeyed! No matter what her orders are, or whether they are correct or not, we subordinates must execute them unconditionally!" Lu Yunchang sneered. "Don't think that just because the Grand Elder is the Palace Master's father, he can be your backer. I can tell you clearly that even the Grand Elder, if he dares to disregard the Palace Master's orders in the future, will also be punished accordingly!"
"Elder Lu seems to be exaggerating. Does Elder Lu think the Palace Master would be an unfilial daughter?" Baili Hu smiled indifferently, seemingly unconcerned.
"The Palace Master's patience has reached its limit. If you don't believe me, why not try!" Lu Yunchang finished coldly, flicked his sleeve, and strode away.
"Is that so? Hehe, I'll go back and watch Sun Yunyan's good show first!" Baili Hu's face showed a foxy expression again, and she suddenly giggled.
*** *** ***
Hua Ruoxu stepped into the room, her eyes filled with pink. She turned around abruptly, and the door had already closed silently. He couldn't help but recall the scene of being trapped in that stone house with Youyou, and a sense
of foreboding washed over him. He darted to the door, only to find it indeed locked. A low moan drifted over, intensifying Hua Ruoxu's unease. He turned behind the screen, only to discover a scene that made his blood boil.
Sun Yunyan was almost completely naked, her beautiful figure almost entirely exposed to the air, slowly writhing, her hands flailing about, as if trying to grasp something.
"Despicable and shameless!" Hua Ruoxu cursed Baili Hu inwardly. Judging from her appearance, he knew Baili Hu had tampered with her, but her last garment was still on, suggesting she hadn't yet been violated by Baili Hu.
Suddenly, Sun Yunyan lunged at Hua Ruoxu, her snow-white arms wrapping around his neck, her voluptuous body writhing wildly in his arms, emitting seductive moans.
Hua Ruoxu's heart skipped a beat, the body in his arms growing increasingly hot. He took a deep breath, steeled himself, and struck her pressure points. Sun Yunyan immediately collapsed into his arms, and at that moment, a hint of gratitude seemed to appear in her eyes.
"Kill me, please!" Sun Yunyan seemed to regain some clarity, pleading softly.
"Madam Ge, don't worry, I will get you out of here," Hua Ruoxu comforted her softly, supporting Sun Yunyan with one hand and placing the other on his sword.
"Please, kill me!" Sun Yunyan kept repeating this, looking extremely pained.
"Brother Hua, I've given you such a wonderful gift, shouldn't you thank me?" Baili Hu had returned, her soft, seductive voice returning.
"Baili Hu, what tricks are you playing?" Hua Ruoxu roared angrily.
“Brother Hua, you are the Palace Master’s husband, how could I dare to play any tricks?” Baili Hu chuckled. “I’m doing this for your own good. Although Sun Yunyan isn’t as beautiful as the Palace Master, she’s still quite lovely.”
“Baili Hu, if you don’t open the door, don’t blame me for destroying your house,” Hua Ruoxu said coldly.
“Oh, I forgot to tell you, didn’t you notice that her eyes are starting to turn red? And didn’t you notice how much pain she’s in?” Baili Hu pretended to have just remembered. “Let me tell you, if you don’t treat her well, I guarantee that in less than a quarter of an hour, her whole body will start to fester and turn into a pool of blood. Alas, what a pity for such a delicate beauty.”
Hua Ruoxu looked at Sun Yunyan with some suspicion and found that her eyes were instantly bloodshot and her pink face was already contorted.
"Oh, right, I forgot to tell you something. If you seal her pressure points, she'll die even faster, hehe. Then you'll be killing a great beauty with your own hands, what a sin!" Baili Hu's voice came in again, and Hua Ruoxu almost had the urge to kill Baili Hu with a single sword strike.

Volume 7, Chapter 2, Parting of the Swallows

"Master Ye, they don't have the sect leader's token on them, and we can't find their residence." Behind Ye Bu'er stood two people, one of whom was Ge Yunxiang, and the other was none other than Ouyang Jianping, the sect leader of the Snow Mountain Sect, and it was he who spoke.
"Plan unchanged, proceed as scheduled!" Ye Bu'er pondered for a moment, and said in a deep voice.

Baili Hu's nauseating laughter rang in his ears, and Sun Yunyan's expression grew increasingly painful. Hua Ruoxu could no longer contain his burning anger. With a long roar, he sprang up, and the Love Sword emitted a powerful and sharp sword aura. The Heavenly Star Sword Technique, Heavenly Star Wrath, pierced through the roof, and Hua Ruoxu, carrying Sun Yunyan, burst out of the house.
Baili Hu's expression changed slightly. He leaned back, flying several feet before landing on the open ground outside the house.
"Baili Hu, today I'll teach you a lesson on behalf of Dai'er!" Hua Ruoxu's eyes blazed with fury. He had thought that with Dai'er's orders, Baili Hu would at least have some reservations, but he hadn't expected him to remain so despicable.
"Love Sword - Dai Jiao!" A gentle breeze, light yet carrying immense power, swept towards Baili Hu. Baili Hu's expression shifted rapidly. He flailed his arms wildly in the air, ribbons fluttering, but upon contact with the Love Sword's energy, they shattered instantly.
A murderous glint appeared in Hua Ruoxu's eyes. He suddenly unleashed his true energy, causing the sword energy to surge more than a foot in size. Baili Hu screamed, clutching his chest and retreating rapidly, several bright red bloodstains flying in the air.
"Hua Ruoxu, Sun Yunyan, just wait and see Ge Yunxiang's show!" Baili Hu suddenly stepped into thin air and disappeared from the ground, his venomous voice echoing through the air.
"You're lucky this time!" Hua Ruoxu cursed bitterly, somewhat helpless. After all, this was Baili Hu's territory, and Baili Hu seemed to have some knowledge of mechanisms. He could only watch helplessly as Baili Hu escaped once again.
"Young Master Hua, save me!" A weak voice came from beside him.
"Madam Ge, what did you say?" Hua Ruoxu thought he had misheard.
"Save me! Please!" Sun Yunyan seemed to have used her last bit of strength to say this, then fell into a semi-conscious state, her face flushed an unnatural red, large beads of sweat dripping down her face, seemingly mixed with tears. However, this time Hua Ruoxu heard it clearly; Sun Yunyan was indeed begging him to save her. But could he save her? And how could he save her?

Ye Family. The council hall of the Seven Sects and Four Families Alliance.
The disciples of Shaolin, Wudang, Emei, and Qingcheng were filled with grief and indignation, for the bodies of their sect leaders lay in the hall. Ye Bu'er's explanation was that Shaolin's sect leader, Master Yuanguang, had ambushed the other three sect leaders, and in their hasty self-defense, all four perished. This explanation felt somewhat forced, but judging from their injuries, it seemed plausible. Moreover, the other sect leaders were reportedly present, swearing that they had witnessed everything firsthand.
Thus, a conflict nearly erupted between the disciples of the four sects. However, at this moment, the experts from the four sects who had always accompanied Ye Bu'er stepped forward. Because of their status, they were all of the same generation as the recently deceased sect leader, and their words naturally carried weight.
With Ye Bu'er's strong encouragement, Yuan Neng of Shaolin, Qing Feng of Wudang, Hui Xin of Emei, and Zheng Xingying of Qingcheng became the temporary sect leaders of their respective sects. Although the disciples discussed among themselves, they had no power and could only obey the arrangements, though they couldn't help but harbor some resentment.
"Hehehe..." A seductive laugh suddenly entered the council hall. Everyone was stunned, but a few people's expressions changed slightly because they recognized the person who came.
"Sect Leader Ge, do you want to know where your lovely Madam Ge is?" Baili Hu's voice came, but he didn't appear.
"Baili Hu, if you're a man, don't hide and be afraid to come out!" Ge Yunxiang's heart sank. Although he didn't have much affection for Sun Yunyan, she was still his wife, and it was a matter of his face.

"Master Ge, I'm a woman, so of course I don't need to come out. But in front of the lovely Madam Ge, I can act like a man too," Baili Hu chuckled. "Master Ge, would you like to go see Madam Ge with me?"
"Baili Hu, what do you mean by that? Is she in your hands?" Ge Yunxiang's heart skipped a beat. The consequences of a woman, especially a beautiful one, falling into Baili Hu's hands were self-evident.
"Master Ge, you don't need to worry. I was just feeling lonely and wanted to chat with her. But she has someone else with her now. Would you like to go see her, Master Ge?" Baili Hu still didn't show herself. Ge
Yunxiang's expression changed drastically. He seemed to feel the pitying and mocking looks on everyone's faces. He, the dignified Kunlun Sect Master, the renowned Azure-Clad Divine Sword, had his wife insulted by someone from the Demon Palace. This was an unbearable humiliation. His face flushed and paled, then suddenly relaxed, as if relieved.
“Bailihu, you’re going to be disappointed. Since yesterday, Sun Yunyan has no longer been my wife, Ge Yunxiang’s wife, because I divorced her yesterday.” Ge Yunxiang’s expression returned to calm, his tone indifferent. “Therefore, whatever happens to her is none of my business!”
“Hehehe…” Bailihu seemed greatly surprised, but then giggled again, “Then I’ll see how Hua Ruoxu entertains your beautiful Madam Ge.” Her voice faded into the distance. Bailihu was injured and dared not linger for long.
“Hua Ruoxu?!” Ge Yunxiang gritted his teeth in hatred.

Hua Mansion. Fang Xia was anxious and restless. Hua Ruoxu had been at the Demon Palace for an hour, but still hadn’t returned. His worry for Sun Yunyan grew stronger.
“Fairy Hua, could something have happened to Brother Hua?” Fang Xia couldn’t help but ask.
"I bet he's been held back by Su Dai'er and doesn't want to come back!" Hua Feimeng said indignantly, still resentful that Hua Ruoxu hadn't returned home last night.
"Sister, you seem quite jealous?" Hua Feihua chuckled beside her.
"Go away, it's none of your business!" Hua Feimeng glared at Hua Feihua. The siblings were both in good spirits after their reunion.
"Junior brother should be alright, maybe something happened that delayed him." Hua Yufeng said this, but she wasn't really sure and had a vague sense of unease. Just
as Hua Yufeng finished speaking, Hua Ruoxu stepped in, looking somewhat lost.
"Brother Hua, where's my senior sister?" Fang Xia saw Hua Ruoxu at a glance and rushed over, asking anxiously.
"Brother Fang, your senior sister, she's alright, she should be back at the Ye family by now." Hua Ruoxu's tone was strained.
"Everyone, I'll take my leave first!" Fang Xia immediately rushed out, clearly very anxious.
Watching Fang Xia's hurried departure, Hua Ruoxu felt a surge of indescribable emotions.
"Junior brother, has something happened?" Hua Yufeng noticed Hua Ruoxu's unusual expression and her heart tightened. Could it be that Sun Yunyan had been violated by Baili Hu?
"Second senior sister, I'll go back to my room first!" Hua Ruoxu shook his head and said softly, not bothering anyone else, and hurriedly went into his room.
Seeing Hua Ruoxu like this, Hua Yufeng's suspicions deepened, but she didn't want to ask him now.
"Young Master Hua, let's go back and check," Hua Yufeng said after thinking for a moment.

Seven Sects and Four Families Alliance Council Hall.
After Baili Hu left, the meeting continued, but many people glanced at Ge Yunxiang intentionally or unintentionally.
"Except for Miss Hua Er of Mount Hua, all the sect leaders are here today. I have a suggestion for everyone to discuss," Ye Bu'er said slowly, glancing at everyone.
"Please speak, Master Ye!" The one who spoke was Ouyang Jianping, the leader of the Snow Mountain Sword Sect, surprising many. Since the formation of the Seven Sects and Four Families Alliance, he had never spoken in any meetings, let alone taken the initiative like this today.
"I think everyone has seen these past few days that although Miss Hua is the Alliance Leader, she is preoccupied with personal matters and unable to focus on managing the Alliance's affairs. Furthermore, Hua Ruoxu has an ambiguous relationship with the Divine Palace and the Demon Palace, and Miss Hua's relationship with Hua Ruoxu is too close. Therefore, I believe that Miss Hua is no longer suitable to serve as the leader of the Seven Sects and Four Families Alliance. What are your opinions?" Ye Bu'er's expression was solemn and dignified.
As soon as he finished speaking, the leaders of the various sects began to echo his sentiments. Half an hour later, Ye Bu'er successfully became the leader of the Seven Sects and Four Families Alliance. His first act as leader was to change the name of the Seven Sects and Four Families Alliance to the Justice Alliance.
Ye Wuying stared blankly at everything, suddenly feeling an urge to laugh. The Justice League—she used to understand justice perfectly, because in her mind, her father was the epitome of righteousness, and he had always taught her how to uphold justice in the martial world. However, now she realized it was all a lie. Her father, who so swore to be righteous, had killed several sect leaders right before her eyes, and then put on a hypocritical show. The
previously noisy council hall suddenly fell silent, everyone's eyes turning to the entrance.
Sun Yunyan stood quietly at the door, her eyes slightly vacant, her face pale. She looked at Ge Yunxiang with a complex expression, saying nothing.
"Sect Leader's Wife," two Kunlun disciples greeted her, bowing.
"Shut up!" Ge Yunxiang snapped. "I've made it very clear, she is no longer my wife, nor your Sect Leader's Wife!"
"What...what did you say?" Sun Yunyan was surprised, her voice sounding almost like she was crying, which was strange.
"Junior sister, although we are no longer husband and wife, don't worry, you are still my junior sister. I will definitely help you kill Baili Hu!" Ge Yunxiang perhaps felt that it was too heartless to do this in front of so many people, so he softened his tone and pretended to be kind.
"So, so you already knew that I was captured by Baili Hu." Sun Yunyan felt a chill in her heart, and murmured as she looked at Ge Yunxiang. Suddenly, she giggled, her voice becoming somewhat sorrowful, "Ge Yunxiang, after all these years, I finally see you for the first time. How ridiculous, how ridiculous that I actually hoped you would come to save me! How ridiculous, how ridiculous!"
Sun Yunyan slowly turned around, her steps faltering as she walked away. Her heart was almost completely dead. When she fell into Baili Hu's hands, she thought of death. When Hua Ruoxu appeared, a glimmer of hope appeared in her heart, but then she discovered that Hua Ruoxu was also trapped inside. She then contemplated suicide again, repeatedly begging him to kill her, but to no avail. However, when she heard Baili Hu mention Ge Yunxiang's name, a sudden desire to live surged within her. She realized she still longed to see him, at least one more time. She wanted to ask him if what he had said before was true; only by getting a clear answer could she die in peace. And in her heart, there was one last hope: that Ge Yunxiang still loved her, that he would forgive her, and that he wouldn't hold her wronged by Baili Hu.
But now everything was clear. Before she could even say whether she had been insulted by Baili Hu, Ge Yunxiang had already divorced her, and she could sense the implication in his words: Ge Yunxiang had already decided she couldn't escape. Perhaps not only Ge Yunxiang, but everyone would think the same way. Who would believe that a beautiful woman could fall into Baili Hu's hands for a night and remain unharmed? Even she herself might not have believed it before.
"Senior Sister, Senior Sister!" Fang Xia's urgent calls startled the somewhat dazed Sun Yunyan. She looked around and realized she was still standing at the door, while everyone in the hall seemed to be looking at her with pity.
"Junior Brother, you're here too?" Sun Yunyan said softly, her voice strained, as if she didn't want to speak at all.
"Senior Sister, are you alright?" Fang Xia's heart skipped a beat; anyone could tell that something was wrong with Sun Yunyan.
Sun Yunyan slowly shook her head without speaking.
"Senior Brother, Senior Sister is like this, why are you just standing there doing nothing?" Fang Xia finally couldn't help but question Ge Yunxiang.
"Young Master Fang!" "Brother Fang!" Hua Yufeng and Hua Feihua also arrived in the hall at this moment.
"Miss Hua's arrival is just in time. Master Ye, no, Alliance Leader Ye, has something to discuss with you." Ge Yunxiang didn't react to Fang Xia's questioning at all, but immediately spoke when he saw Hua Yufeng enter.

Volume 7, Chapter 3: A Hundred Miles of Pursuit.

Sun Yunyan suddenly dashed out, startling Fang Xia, who immediately followed, not even having time to greet Hua Yufeng or Hua Feihua.
Sun Yunyan only wanted to run as far away as possible, to a place where no one knew her, not wanting to see any familiar faces.
"Senior Sister! Senior Sister!" Fang Xia's anxious calls came from behind her, and Sun Yunyan abruptly stopped.
"Don't chase after me!" Sun Yunyan shouted at Fang Xia.
"Senior Sister, what happened? Please tell me," Fang Xia looked at Sun Yunyan with heartache; her face was so haggard.
"What happened? Don't you know? Your good senior brother, he disliked my body because it wasn't pure, and divorced me in front of so many people!" Sun Yunyan said angrily, her words leaving Fang Xia stunned. The thing she least expected had finally happened.
"Bailihu, I'm not finished with you!" Fang Xia roared, then muttered in disbelief, "How could my senior brother do this to you?"
"Junior brother, don't chase me anymore. I want to leave this place quietly by myself. I don't want to see anyone who knows me," Sun Yunyan said softly, then turned and continued walking.
"Senior sister, don't go!" Fang Xia flashed in front of Sun Yunyan, urgently pleading, "Senior sister, please don't go! What if something happens to you alone?"
"What's the point of staying here? To be ridiculed by everyone?" Sun Yunyan's tone was cold.
"Senior sister, no matter what others think of you, in my heart, you've always been the best and purest. Senior sister, believe me, I... I will take good care of you. No matter what happened to you before, I don't care!" Fang Xia suddenly grabbed Sun Yunyan's hand, speaking with emotion, finally uttering the words he had kept hidden in his heart for so many years.
Sun Yunyan stared intently at Fang Xia, seemingly trying to discern something from his face, but ultimately only saw his sincere eyes. Her heart skipped a beat, and she didn't know what to feel. Actually, a long time ago, she had noticed that Fang Xia's feelings for her seemed a little off, but she hadn't paid much attention, because at that time, her heart belonged only to Ge Yunxiang. Now, she had just been dumped by Ge Yunxiang, and Fang Xia had confessed his feelings to her. However, she realized that no matter what, she would never fall in love with her junior brother, and even in this situation, she had no intention of relying on him.
"Senior sister, don't you believe me? I... I can swear!" Seeing that Sun Yunyan hadn't reacted for a long time, Fang Xia became a little uneasy and quickly spoke again.
Sun Yunyan suddenly smiled, a genuine smile, a sweet and beautiful smile.
“Junior brother, I will remember your kindness to your senior sister, but I really can’t accept you.” Sun Yunyan’s mood seemed to have calmed down a lot. “Although I need a man to rely on right now, the person I like is not like you. If I really accept you, it would be very unfair to you.” “Senior sister
, I really like you. I don’t care what you think. I just want you to agree to let me take care of you. I don’t care about anything else, really!” Fang Xia still held Sun Yunyan’s hand tightly, looking at her intently with unwavering eyes. “Senior sister, let me take care of you for the rest of my life, okay?”
“Junior brother, why don’t you understand what your senior sister is saying?” Sun Yunyan gently pulled her hand away from Fang Xia’s and slowly turned around. “Junior brother, there’s something you must remember: if you don’t like a woman, then you must not marry her. If you marry her, then even if you don’t like her, you have to lie to her for the rest of your life!”
“Senior sister, I’m sincere to you!” Fang Xia thought Sun Yunyan still didn’t believe him.
“But junior brother, I don’t want to lie to you. I can only ever be your senior sister, and I only want to be your senior sister, do you understand?” Sun Yunyan sighed softly. “You’re still young, you will definitely meet the girl you truly like! Senior sister is leaving, junior brother, take good care of yourself!”
Fang Xia watched Sun Yunyan leave again, wanting to chase after her, but stopped after taking a step, staring blankly as she disappeared from sight.

“Baili Hu, the Palace Master wants to see you!” Baili Hu had just returned to his residence when Lu Yunchang appeared before him.
Led by Lu Yunchang, Baili Hu left the city gate and arrived outside Jinling City. He was puzzled, not understanding why Su Dai’er would ask him to come here.
Ten miles west of the city, in a vast wasteland, Su Dai’er held a zither, her white clothes fluttering, like a fairy descending to earth.
“Greetings, Palace Master, may I ask what your orders are?” Baili Hu stopped about ten feet behind Su Dai’er and bowed.
"Third Elder, do you still regard me as the Palace Master?" Su Dai'er said calmly.
"Palace Master, this subordinate doesn't understand your meaning." Baili Hu's heart tightened, a vague sense of unease creeping in.
"Brother Ruoxu was very unhappy when he left today, Third Elder, do you know why?" Su Dai'er's tone remained as calm as ever, revealing no emotion whatsoever.
"Palace Master, this subordinate is ignorant and doesn't understand what Young Master Hua is thinking." Baili Hu said, forcing a smile.
"Is that so? Then I'll teach you how to be a little smarter!" Su Dai'er's tone suddenly turned cold, her fingers rapidly plucking the strings of her zither. A burst of stirring music rushed into Baili Hu's ears, and at the same time, Su Dai'er's body floated into the air, flying towards Baili Hu. With a graceful somersault in mid-air, her feet stomped towards Baili Hu's chest.
"Ugh!" Baili Hu's painful scream shattered the tranquility of the wilderness. His body flew backward for about ten feet before crashing to the ground, a cloud of blood spraying into the air.
"Palace Master, spare me!" Baili Hu struggled to his feet, then knelt on the ground, his face deathly pale, pleading in a low voice.
"Baili Hu, if it weren't for the many efforts you've made for me over the years, I would have killed you the first time you attacked Brother Ruoxu. Unfortunately, you haven't repented and have repeatedly dared to disobey my orders. Today, you have only yourself to blame, not me." Su Dai'er's pretty face was frosty, her voice filled with a murderous intent.
"Palace Master, please spare me this time, for the sake of my years of service. I will never dare to be disrespectful to Young Master Hua again." Baili Hu said with difficulty, now completely powerless to resist.
Su Dai'er pondered for a moment, seemingly lost in thought. Seeing this, Baili Hu was secretly pleased, thinking that Su Dai'er had been persuaded, and continued to plead.
"Alright then, I'll give you one last chance. I'll give you the time it takes to drink a cup of tea, then disappear from my sight!" Su Dai'er said after a moment's thought.

Sun Yunyan walked slowly along the official road outside the city. She didn't know where she was going, only that she had to leave this place, but she couldn't return to Kunlun.
"Sun Yunyan!" A sweet voice made her stop. Turning around, she saw a girl in white.
"May I ask who you are, young lady?" Sun Yunyan asked, her brows furrowing slightly.
"If you want to kill Baili Hu yourself, then come with me!" The girl in white said, turning and walking away without waiting for Sun Yunyan's reaction.
Sun Yunyan hesitated for a moment before following. Hearing the name Baili Hu, a surge of anger welled up in her heart.
"That one running this way is Baili Hu!" Suddenly, a staggering figure appeared in their line of sight, and the girl in white spoke.
Sun Yunyan looked closely and saw that the person was indeed Baili Hu. She didn't have time to think about the identity of the girl in white beside her. Gritting her teeth, she drew her sword with a clang.
Baili Hu ran desperately forward, trying to find Nangong Xuanyuan for help, but little did he know that death awaited him ahead.
Sun Yunyan thrust her sword at Baili Hu with all her might, the blade imbued with all her resentment. Poor Baili Hu was utterly powerless to resist; he didn't even have time to scream before becoming Sun Yunyan's victim.
Sun Yunyan stared blankly at the dripping blood on the sword tip, seemingly unable to believe it was real. She never imagined Baili Hu would die so easily at her hands; the thing she most desired had been accomplished so effortlessly.

"Miss Sun, you killed my Third Elder. What are your thoughts?" A soft voice held a touch of natural charm. Sun Yunyan abruptly looked up and saw another girl in white standing behind the one who had brought her there earlier.
"Su Dai'er?" Sun Yunyan remembered Su Dai'er.
"Miss Sun, my Third Elder died at your hands. I'm afraid you'll have to reluctantly take his place," Su Dai'er said with a sweet smile.
"So you deliberately wanted Baili Hu to die at my hands!" Sun Yunyan instantly understood. Baili Hu had died so easily at her hands, clearly indicating he was already seriously injured. And Su Dai'er had sent someone specifically to find her; it was clear that Su Dai'er had orchestrated everything. "Keeping someone who
doesn't obey my orders is useless. However, he was, after all, one of my elders, and it wouldn't be right for me to kill him personally. Since Miss Sun is so eager to kill him, I'll do you a favor and consider it a gift for joining my palace!" Su Dai'er said calmly, seemingly certain that Sun Yunyan would join the Demon Palace. "Palace Master
Su, you misunderstand. While I am very grateful to Palace Master Su, I have no intention of joining the Demon Palace," Sun Yunyan said with a slight smile. After all, she was a Kunlun disciple; it seemed somewhat unreasonable for her to join the Demon Palace.
"Does Miss Sun still wish to return to Kunlun? Now everyone probably knows you're a woman who was humiliated by Baili Hu and abandoned by Ge Yunxiang. I imagine you're too ashamed to return to Kunlun." Su Dai'er smiled. "Perhaps you want to find a place where no one knows you, but doesn't Miss Sun want to know the true cause of your father's death?"
"Regardless of whether you were humiliated by Baili Hu or not, in other people's eyes, you're a pitiful woman who lost her virginity and was abandoned. If you leave now, you'll never be able to hold your head high for the rest of your life, and you'll never be able to avenge Ge Yunxiang for killing your father!" Su Dai'er continued.
"No, that's impossible! My father died of illness!" Sun Yunyan's expression changed constantly before she finally shouted at Su Dai'er.
“With your father’s martial arts skills, how could he have died of illness so easily? Miss Sun, think about it carefully and you’ll understand.” Su Dai’er smiled gently. “Of course, if you are willing to become an elder under my command, I will still be happy to tell you the truth.”
“I am just an unknown person in the martial arts world, and my martial arts skills are very ordinary. I wonder why Palace Master Su chose me?” Sun Yunyan struggled in her heart for a long time before suddenly asking.
"You're not famous simply because you've been quietly helping Ge Yunxiang all along. As for your martial arts, I know very well that you're actually no worse than Ge Yunxiang now, and I believe I can help you surpass him soon. Of course, the most important point is that my Demon Palace is willing to offer Miss Sun a final way out!" Su Dai'er smiled slightly. "If Miss Sun is unwilling, we won't force her."
"Palace Master Su seems to overestimate my martial arts!" Sun Yunyan gave a slight bitter smile, but she was already starting to waver, because she understood that she really had nowhere else to go, and she was also somewhat skeptical of what Su Dai'er said about her father being killed by Ge Yunxiang.
"Miss Sun, do you know why you and Ge Yunxiang were defeated by Hua Yuluan a few months ago when you joined forces?" Su Dai'er suddenly asked.
"Of course, it's because we were outmatched. Does the Palace Master think we deliberately lost to her?" Sun Yunyan said somewhat unhappily.
"Sister Yu Luan's martial arts skills are now unmatched in the martial world. Your loss to her is related to her high level of skill, but that's not the main reason," Su Dai'er shook her head and said. "The Bi Yi Sword Technique is about husband and wife flying wing to wing. If husband and wife can't be of one mind, how can they fly wing to wing? Ge Yunxiang doesn't love you, so your Bi Yi Sword Technique has never been able to unleash its full power. Although you repeatedly used the Bi Yi Sword Technique to defeat your opponents before, it was only because your opponents were too weak. They weren't defeated by the Bi Yi Sword Technique, but by one of you."

Volume 7, Chapter 4, Love's Enchantment,

"Elder Lu." Su Dai'er suddenly called out softly. In a flash, Lu Yunchang seemed to appear out of nowhere, bowing and handing Su Dai'er a rectangular box.
Liu Yun took the box and, at Su Dai'er's prompting, presented it to Sun Yunyan.
"Palace Master Su, what is this?" Sun Yunyan hesitated, looking at the box, and asked curiously instead of taking it.
"Miss Sun, please open it and take a look," Su Dai'er smiled slightly. When she wasn't by Hua Ruoxu's side, that gentle, refined air was rarely seen.
Sun Yunyan thought for a moment, then took the box and opened it, only to find a pair of short swords lying side by side.
"These short swords were forged by a master craftsman; they are a pair of mandarin duck swords. I haven't found a suitable person to wield them all, so today I'm giving them to you, Miss Sun. I believe that soon, these mandarin duck swords will become famous throughout the martial arts world in your hands." Su Dai'er's melodious voice reached Sun Yunyan's ears again.
Sun Yunyan's heart stirred slightly; she seemed to vaguely understand the meaning behind Su Dai'er's words.
"Palace Master Su, are you saying I'll use these two swords by myself?" Sun Yunyan asked, slightly surprised.
"Left hand, the Mandarin Duck Sword; right hand, the Double Sword; like mandarin ducks flying wing to wing, soaring side by side. Even if two people are of one mind, how can they compare to understanding their own hearts better?" Su Dai'er smiled gently. "Miss Sun, do you understand what I mean now?"
"So it can be like this," Sun Yunyan murmured. Suddenly, she found that she no longer felt fear towards the girl before her, but rather a sincere admiration, or rather, respect.
"Your subordinate, Sun Yunyan, greets the Palace Master!" Sun Yunyan suddenly knelt down before Su Dai'er.
A sweet smile appeared on Su Dai'er's face again.

Demon Palace Hall. Su Dai'er sat in a high position, with Lu Yunchang and Sun Yunyan standing on her left and right respectively. Liu Yun stood behind her, and dozens of people stood on both sides below, all important members of the Demon Palace, including Nangong Xuanyuan.
"Baili Hu repeatedly disobeyed the Palace Master's orders and has now been executed. From now on, Elder Sun Yunyan will be the Third Elder of this Palace!" Su Dai'er's voice was not loud, but it was full of authority and coldness. Everyone felt an oppressive atmosphere and dared not utter a sound.
"From today onwards, Elder Lu will be promoted to First Elder of this Palace, and Elder Nangong will assume the position of Second Elder!" Su Dai'er then threw out another sentence, which surprised everyone. Even Lu Yunchang did not expect it, but although he was somewhat surprised, he did not ask.
"If anyone disobeys my orders in the future, then he will be the next Baili Hu!" Su Dai'er said calmly, and slowly stood up. "Liuyun, let's go back!"

Almost everyone in the hall had left, but Nangong Xuanyuan and Lu Yunchang remained.
"Elder Nangong, take care of yourself!" Lu Yunchang sighed softly. "As the Palace Master's father, what you should do is make her happy, not make her suffer!" He shook his head and turned to stride out of the hall.

“Miss, Li Buren requests an audience!” Liu Yun reported softly.
“Go tell him I won’t pursue the past! Then go and invite Elder Sun over.” Su Dai’er didn’t even look up. Liu Yun responded and went out.
“Greetings, Palace Master!” A moment later, Liu Yun appeared at the door with Sun Yunyan.
“Elder Sun, you can temporarily set aside palace affairs and focus on practicing your swordsmanship. As for your daily life, I will have Liu Yun arrange it for you.” Su Dai’er said to Sun Yunyan, her tone very gentle.
“Your subordinate obeys!” Sun Yunyan responded softly.

“Palace Master, the Seven Sects and Four Families Alliance has been renamed the Justice Alliance, with Ye Bu'er as its leader. The leaders of the four major sects—Shaolin, Wudang, Emei, and Qingcheng—have died, and their positions have been passed to Ye Bu'er's four bodyguards. In addition, Ouyang Jianping of the Snow Mountain Sect and Ge Yunxiang of the Kunlun Sect have both been appointed as vice leaders of the Justice Alliance, while Hua Yufeng of the Huashan Sect has announced her withdrawal from the Justice Alliance and has already gone to the Tianxing Alliance.” Su Dai'er listened quietly to Lu Yunchang's report, her expression not changing much.
“Elder Lu, inform my disciples to observe the situation for now.” Su Dai'er pondered for a moment and said, “Also, find the whereabouts of the Poison Sect as soon as possible and eliminate them!”

“Palace Master, should we spread the news that Ye Bu'er was originally one of my protectors?” Lu Yunchang nodded, and then asked after a moment.
"No need. If word gets out, it will only benefit Ye Bu'er," Su Dai'er shook her head. "However, I will tell Brother Ruoxu about this."
"Should we invite Young Master Hua over?" Lu Yunchang asked cautiously.
"No need. If he misses me, he will come himself," Su Dai'er slowly shook her head, her eyes softening.

Ye Wuying locked herself in her room. The events of the past few days were too much for her to accept, but she didn't have the courage to expose Ye Bu'er's conspiracy, because after all, he was her father.
"Wuying." Ye Bu'er's voice came from the doorway, his voice carrying a kind tone. No matter how ruthless he was to others, Ye Bu'er still loved his daughter.
"Father, can you tell your daughter why you did this?" Ye Wuying asked, her eyes brimming with tears.
“Wu Ying, when I was your age, I was just an ordinary farm boy, knowing absolutely no martial arts, and my family was extremely poor.” Ye Bu'er’s eyes showed a hint of reminiscence. “Later, I met your mother. I gave birth to you when I was twenty.”
“Mother, where is Mother now?” Ye Wu Ying asked anxiously. For so many years, she had never seen her mother's face. Occasionally, she would ask Ye Bu'er, but he would always remain silent.
“Don’t call her Mother!” Ye Bu'er suddenly roared at Ye Wu Ying. “This woman, she has no right to be your mother!”
“Father, she is my mother! I’ve never seen her in all my life. Please tell me where she is!” Ye Wu Ying rushed forward and grabbed Ye Bu'er’s sleeve.
“When you were less than a year old, she ran off with someone, a江湖人 (jianghu person, a person from the martial arts world).” Ye Bu'er’s voice was filled with resentment. “Later, I started learning martial arts, and then I killed that despicable couple!”
“Father, you, you said you killed Mother?” Ye Wu Ying was shocked.
"I told you, she's not qualified to be your mother!" Ye Bu'er said coldly, then his voice softened. "Wu Ying, don't worry, you will definitely be the happiest girl in this martial arts world. Soon, you will be a princess of the martial arts world. I will give you the most generous dowry and find you the best husband! Whatever you want, you can have it!"
"Father, that's not what I want!" Ye Wu Ying cried out, tears welling in her eyes, only to find that Ye Bu'er had already left.

The news of the deaths of the four sect leaders quickly spread throughout the martial arts world, causing a great deal of discussion and speculation.
Fang Xia lingered outside the Tianxing Alliance for a while before finally entering.
"Brother Hua, may I join the Tianxing Alliance?" This was Fang Xia's first question upon seeing Hua Ruoxu.
Hua Ruoxu did not answer immediately; a strange expression appeared on his face, a mixture of guilt and helplessness.
"We would be more than happy if Young Master Fang could join the Heavenly Star Alliance." Hua Yufeng gently tugged at Hua Ruoxu and spoke first, though she was somewhat puzzled. Ever since Hua Ruoxu rescued Sun Yunyan from the Demon Palace, he had been acting strangely.
“I understand my senior brother’s actions less and less,” Fang Xia sighed softly. “Perhaps I shouldn’t stay in Kunlun anymore.” A beautiful image flashed through his mind again: Senior Sister, I hope you are safe and sound.
“Now all the major sects are under Ye Bu’er’s control,” Hua Feihua’s voice drifted in. “I can’t stand those people anymore. I think it’s better here, and my sister is here too.”
“What are you doing here? Won’t Father scold you?” Hua Feimeng glared at Hua Feihua.
“No, Father seems to want me to leave!” A hint of confusion appeared in Hua Feihua’s eyes.
Hua Ruoxu’s heart sank slightly, sensing something.

“Junior Brother, what are you hiding from me?” Back in her room, Hua Yufeng looked at Hua Ruoxu with slight annoyance.
“Second Senior Sister, you misunderstand. How could I hide anything from you?” Hua Ruoxu was slightly taken aback.
“These past few days, you’ve seemed restless every day. And you say you’re not hiding anything from me?” Hua Yufeng scolded.
"Second Senior Sister, please don't ask anymore, okay?" Hua Ruoxu gently embraced her delicate body and said softly. Hua Yufeng looked at him with a mixture of affection and annoyance, and finally nodded.
"How's the investigation into the South Sea Divine Nun and Ye Bu'er going?" After a while, Hua Ruoxu broke the silence.
"The South Sea Divine Nun's secular surname is Yang. She has no children, nephews, or relatives. Ye Bu'er suddenly appeared ten years ago. I had never heard of this name before. He only became famous overnight after suddenly repelling the Demon Palace's attack on the four major sects. Thinking about it now, it seems a bit unbelievable." Hua Yufeng frowned slightly, looking somewhat puzzled.
"What exactly is the relationship between Ye Bu'er and the South Sea Divine Nun?" Hua Ruoxu murmured, still unable to figure it out after thinking for a while.
"Actually, I once suspected that Ye Bu'er was originally a member of the Demon Palace, but now it seems unlikely. If he really was a member of the Demon Palace, he wouldn't be constantly at odds with them." Hua Yufeng sighed softly.
“If he were from the Demon Palace, it would have been easy for him to single-handedly repel their attack ten years ago. Perhaps it was all a staged act by the Demon Palace and Ye Bu'er.” Hua Ruoxu nodded. “However, I always feel that Ye Bu'er has some connection to the Poison Sect. I even suspect that he orchestrated the ambush on Dai'er last time.”
“You don’t need to worry about that. I’ll investigate for you.” Seeing Hua Ruoxu’s troubled expression, Hua Yufeng felt a pang of heartache and gently comforted him.
“Second Senior Sister, it’s just that you’ve had to work hard.” Hua Ruoxu’s gaze towards Hua Yufeng became slightly intense.
“What’s a little hardship for you?” Hua Yufeng couldn’t bear his burning gaze and tried to escape. “Junior Brother, it’s getting late. I… I’ll go back to my room first!”
“Second Senior Sister, will you stay tonight?” Hua Ruoxu tightly embraced her waist, unwilling to let go, gazing intently into her eyes, and spoke softly.
Hua Yufeng's body went limp, and she almost nodded, but remembering she had other things to do, she managed to stay conscious.
"Junior brother, a disciple came looking for me tonight, I... I can't stay with you." Hua Yufeng's face was flushed, and her voice was barely audible. "Go find Sister Meng, she still holds a grudge against you. Who told you to make her wait for you all night!"
Hua Ruoxu was somewhat disappointed, but in the end, he had no choice but to let her go. However, before she left, the two of them lingered for a while, Hua Ruoxu kissing her until she was breathless before reluctantly letting go.
*** *** ***
Walking through the corridor, Hua Ruoxu bumped into Hua Feihua, who seemed to have just come from Hua Feimeng's place.
"Brother-in-law, are you going to see my sister?" Hua Feihua asked with a grin, now calling Hua Ruoxu "brother-in-law."
Hua Ruoxu smiled awkwardly, but didn't know how to answer.
"Don't be shy, we're all men, I understand." Hua Feihua continued with his carefree attitude.
"Aren't you going to that Wan Hua Lou (Ten Thousand Flowers Brothel)?" Hua Feimeng's annoyed voice rang out.
"Hehe, a moment of spring night is worth a thousand pieces of gold, brother-in-law and sister, I'm leaving first!" Hua Feihua said, quickly running away, afraid that if he was late, Hua Feimeng would come and chop him with a sword.
"Aren't you coming in? What are you standing outside for?" Hua Feimeng was embarrassed and annoyed, glaring fiercely at Hua Ruoxu.
"He wouldn't really be going to Wan Hua Lou, would he?" Hua Ruoxu looked in the direction Hua Feihua had left, then turned around and went inside, casually pulling Hua Feimeng into his arms.
"Of course he is, otherwise why would he be called the Playboy?" Hua Feimeng pinched Hua Ruoxu, "He had changed his ways, but it's all because you stole Qingyue away, and now he's back to his old ways." Her tone was full of dissatisfaction with Hua Ruoxu.
"Sister Yue, sigh, I don't know when I can make her stay by my side in peace." A trace of melancholy welled up in Hua Ruoxu's heart, and Jiang Qingyue's beautiful face appeared before his eyes again.
"Don't worry, she won't run away." This time, Hua Feimeng wasn't jealous or pinch him. She said softly, perhaps because they shared the same identity. Although she could stay by Hua Ruoxu's side now, she was afraid she would be forced to betray him. Even though Hua Ruoxu had said she could tell Gong Yaqian everything truthfully, the more he said that, the more uncomfortable she felt.
Hua Ruoxu gently embraced her and led her to the bedside. Tonight, no one should disturb them.

Chapter 5 of Volume 7: Passionate Love .

Hua Feimeng's clothes were removed piece by piece, revealing an ivory-white body to Hua Ruoxu. He finally saw this perfect jade body again. Hua Feimeng closed her eyes slightly, a blush spreading across her face, her body trembling slightly. She was waiting for the storm to come.
It seemed like half a century had passed, yet she still hadn't heard from him. Finally, she couldn't help but open her beautiful eyes, feeling even more embarrassed. She saw Hua Ruoxu staring at her naked body with an almost infatuated gaze, a look of ecstasy mixed with fervor.
"You, you're not allowed to look!" Hua Feimeng abruptly pulled the blanket over herself, her anger tinged with shyness as she glared at Hua Ruoxu.
"My dear Meng'er, it's not like I've seen you before. What are you shy about?" Hua Ruoxu felt a pang of reluctance at having her beautiful body covered, but seeing Hua Feimeng's shy expression, he couldn't resist the urge to tease her.
"You, you're so bad! I, I'm ignoring you!" Hua Feimeng's face was flushed crimson, and she burrowed under the blanket, wrapping herself up tightly.
A moment later, Hua Ruoxu slipped in, embracing her smooth, delicate body. Hua Feimeng's heart skipped a beat, and she felt inexplicably nervous.
A passionate kiss landed on her fair, smooth skin. Hua Ruoxu began to invade her body inch by inch, gradually becoming one with her.
Her breath came in soft gasps, and drops of blood stained her skin. As the passion subsided, seeing the man beside her, Hua Feimeng suddenly felt a sense of relief. Her heart felt much better, and the guilt she had felt for him over the past few days seemed to lessen considerably.
"I've waited so many years, and now you, you bad guy, have gotten away with it," Hua Feimeng murmured, gently biting Hua Ruoxu's chest. Then she lay in his arms, gradually feeling sleepy, and closed her beautiful eyes.
*** *** ***
Early morning, the first rays of dawn appeared.
Hua Ruoxu stood quietly in the courtyard, dressed in white, standing proudly. His calm, handsome face was as still as a deep well, revealing no emotion whatsoever. His starry eyes radiated a gentle light, yet carried an aura that commanded respect. His tall, slender figure seemed almost frail, adding to his refined and scholarly air. Although his days spent in the martial world had worn away most of his scholarly air, the remaining traces of his scholarly demeanor seemed to enhance his charm.
Hua Feimeng was still fast asleep, and he did not disturb her. Breathing in the fresh morning air, he felt a sense of exhilaration, and the knot in his heart was temporarily set aside.
"Brother Hua!" Suddenly, he saw Hua Feihua walking in from outside, and sighed softly. It seemed that Hua Feihua had indeed gone to the Wan Hua Lou to seek pleasure.
"Brother-in-law, up so early?" Hua Feihua seemed surprised, then leaned closer mysteriously. "Did my sister kick you out?"
"Brother Hua, there's something I shouldn't be saying, but I still want to say it: some things really can't be forced. Why are you like this?" Hua Ruoxu sighed softly. Hua Feihua
's smiling face suddenly stiffened, and after a long while, he managed a weak smile.
"Brother-in-law, what are you saying? You should go back to my sister's room, otherwise she'll definitely be rude to you later." Hua Feihua's tone was strained.
"Some things really can't be forced!" A deep voice came from behind. Hua Ruoxu turned around and saw Fang Xia walking over looking haggard, and a strange feeling welled up in his heart.
"Good morning, Brother Fang!" Hua Ruoxu nodded to Fang Xia.
"Let's go, let's go for a drink!" Hua Feihua patted Fang Xia's shoulder; the two, sharing similar misfortunes, were going out for drinks early in the morning.
Hua Ruoxu hesitated, watching their departing figures with a soft sigh. Turning around, he found Hua Yufeng standing gracefully in front of him, a sweet smile on her face.
"Do you feel sorry for them?" Hua Yufeng walked gracefully to him and asked softly.
Hua Ruoxu shook his head, took her hand, and took a few steps forward before stopping.
"If I had a choice, I still wouldn't give up Sister Qing for him. It's just that I still feel a little uneasy, after all, he knew Sister Qing first." Hua Ruoxu looked at the sunrise on the horizon and said softly.
"Since you're doing what you want to do, why think so much?" Hua Yufeng said gently. "Hua Feihua isn't a petty person; otherwise, he wouldn't be able to get along with you peacefully."
"If he really is like Feng Guoyun, then naturally I won't feel guilty." Hua Ruoxu said somewhat helplessly. Feng Guoyun, because of Hua Yuluan and Xue Youyou, had always regarded him as an enemy.
"By the way, are Feng Guoyun and Feng Congyun brothers?" Hua Ruoxu suddenly asked, realizing that no one had ever mentioned this before.
"Feng Guoyun travels the martial world and never seems to have said he's from the Feng family. However, Feng Congyun does have an older brother, but we don't know his name. Maybe he's Feng Guoyun," Hua Yufeng said after a slight pause, seemingly taken aback.
"I see," Hua Ruoxu said softly, not pressing further. He wasn't particularly interested in them.
“Last night…” Hua Yufeng blushed slightly at the mention of “last night.” “Last night, a disciple from the sect gave me some new information. Ten years ago, there was a man named Yi Ye in Jinling. He disappeared a few months before Ye Bu'er appeared. If I’m not mistaken, he should be Ye Bu'er’s former identity.”
“Yi Ye, Ye Yi, Ye Yi, Ye Bu'er… just from the names, it’s quite possible.” Hua Ruoxu thought for a moment and said, “Who is this Yi Ye?”
“A very ordinary person, so there’s almost no information about him. Generally speaking, for very ordinary people, we usually only record their names and don’t investigate their deeds in detail. After all, we don’t have that many manpower.” Hua Yufeng said somewhat helplessly.
“Actually, a person can change a lot in ten years. Perhaps ten years ago, he really was just an ordinary person.” Hua Ruoxu pondered for a moment, thinking about how much he himself had changed in just one year. Wouldn’t he have changed even more in ten years?
"Huh, why are they back again?" Hua Ruoxu said in surprise. The two who had just said they were going out for drinks were back now, each holding something in their hand. Upon closer inspection, it turned out to be a golden invitation.
*** *** ***
While Fang Xia, Hua Feihua, and their companions received their invitations, all the slightly famous young men in Jinling City also received them at the same time, including Hua Ruoxu. And the invitations were all sent by the same person, a name that could move almost everyone in the world: Princess Wushuang.
Princess Wushuang was originally the apple of Prince Ping's eye, but she was taken by the current emperor to be his adopted daughter, simply because he couldn't help but fall in love with this little girl the moment he saw her. When the emperor first met Princess Wushuang, she was only six years old, but now she was already sixteen. It is said that Prince Ping almost turned against his own brother, the current emperor, for his beloved daughter. The emperor wanted to bring Princess Wushuang back to the palace as a princess, but Prince Ping vehemently opposed it. Finally, they seemed to reach a compromise: the emperor didn't bestow upon her the title of princess, but instead gave her the title of Princess Wushuang, meaning "unique and unparalleled."
How beautiful Princess Wushuang was is unclear, as few people had seen her. However, because she occasionally appeared in the martial arts world, she was ranked third on the Phoenix List.
When Princess Wushuang was only ten years old, the current emperor had already prepared her dowry, reportedly 100,000 taels of gold and thousands of acres of fertile land. The usually enlightened emperor even decreed for the first time that all ministers must present a generous gift on the day of Princess Wushuang's wedding. The emperor claimed he would find the best young man in the land to be Princess Wushuang's husband, but added that it had to be someone Princess Wushuang herself was satisfied with.
Princess Wushuang's arrival in Jinling, with invitations sent out to young men everywhere, easily led to the assumption that she was personally choosing a husband. The implications of being Princess Wushuang's husband were obvious to everyone, causing an instant sensation in Jinling.

Hua Mansion.

Hua Ruoxu examined the invitation from all angles, finding nothing unusual. He was unfamiliar with the name Princess Wushuang. When he asked, Hua Feihua looked at him as if he were an idiot, until Hua Yufeng, unable to bear the sight any longer, finally told him about Princess Wushuang.
"This doesn't seem to concern me. Oh, right, Brother Fang and Brother Hua, don't miss this opportunity! It's a rare chance!" Hua Ruoxu muttered, then suddenly remembered something. "Oh dear, Meng'er hasn't gotten up yet! Oh no!" He hurriedly ran into the inner room; the sun was high in the sky, and Hua Feimeng was probably about to throw a tantrum.
Inside the room, Hua Feimeng was angrily cursing Hua Ruoxu: "You damned bastard, where did you run off to so early in the morning?" She was still huddled in bed, mainly because she was too shy to go out alone, and Hua Ruoxu wasn't there, so it was no wonder she was cursing.
Hua Ruoxu heard her angry cursing before he even reached the door. He knew without guessing that she was cursing him. He smiled wryly, pushed open the door, and went in.
"Meng'er!" Hua Ruoxu went over and pulled her out, immediately feeling a sharp pain in his hand. Miss Hua had bitten two rows of teeth marks on his hand in great dissatisfaction.
As Hua Ruoxu helped her put on her clothes, she kept biting him, her shapely body wriggling restlessly. Hua Ruoxu, realizing he couldn't continue, simply leaned down and kissed her. This calmed her down considerably; her body gradually softened, and she began to obediently submit to his every whim. If it weren't daytime, her newly dressed clothes would probably have been taken off again.
"Let's go out. They're all waiting outside," Hua Ruoxu said, barely suppressing his excitement. He picked her up and was about to carry her out the door.
"Put me down!" Hua Feimeng, who had been shyly burying her head in his chest, became even more embarrassed when he tried to carry her like this, and struggled to get down.
*** *** ***
"Sister, I didn't expect you to be so shy too," Hua Feihua giggled. Hua Feimeng kept her head down, leaning against Hua Ruoxu, barely daring to look at him.
Hua Feimeng glared at Hua Feihua, but quickly lowered her head again. Secretly, she pinched Hua Ruoxu; she had no choice, Hua Ruoxu was her best outlet for anger right now.
"Brother-in-law, do you want to go to Princess Wushuang's invitation? It's in three days, not much time, you should think it over carefully." Hua Feihua seemed to be deliberately trying to provoke Hua Feimeng.
"Which Princess Wushuang?" Hua Feimeng immediately tensed up. She abruptly raised her head.
"Sister, which Princess Wushuang? It's that one, she's coming to Jinling to choose a husband, and brother-in-law received an invitation too." Hua Feihua said calmly.
"Ah, you're not allowed to go!" Hua Feimeng glared at Hua Ruoxu, looking like she wanted to devour him. But considering that Hua Yuluan hadn't said anything, what could she say? However, Hua Yuluan rarely left her bedroom these days; she was almost five months pregnant.
"I didn't say I was going." Hua Ruoxu felt a bit amused, but then frowned. "Logically speaking, I'm already married. If Princess Wushuang was really choosing a husband, she wouldn't have sent me an invitation. So I think there might be another reason."
"What other reason? I think you're just looking for an excuse to see that Princess Wushuang!" Hua Feimeng was incredibly jealous, pouting and saying unhappily.
"Meng'er, I won't go." Hua Ruoxu didn't know when it started, but in Hua Feimeng's eyes, he had become someone who couldn't stand beautiful women. It was all because he hadn't sought her out back then, but instead had to barge into her bathing. From that moment on, Hua Feimeng probably started to think he was dishonest. She truly regretted it. But thinking about it, if he hadn't gone at such a convenient time, would Hua Feimeng be with him now? Probably not.
However, he really hadn't considered seeing Princess Wushuang. The main reason was that he didn't know her at all, and with his beautiful wife at home and potential enemies outside, he generally didn't want to leave the Hua family mansion unless absolutely necessary.

"Second Senior Sister, have you seen Xiaoxue?" Hua Ruoxu suddenly realized something was wrong. He hadn't seen Hanxue for many days. This little girl used to always bother him, whether there was something to do or not. "I haven't seen Xiaoxue for several days either. Could she be with you, Sister?" Hua Yufeng asked, startled by Hua Ruoxu's question.

Hua Ruoxu frowned. Although he felt Hua Yufeng's words made sense, he still felt uneasy. There was no reason for Hanxue not to contact him for so long. Had she changed her personality? "By the way, I haven't seen Changkong and Yingying for several days either." Hua Ruoxu looked around and realized two people were missing. "Didn't you send them out on business?" Hua Yufeng asked softly, her brows slightly furrowed. It was only then that Hua Ruoxu realized something was amiss. He'd been so preoccupied these past few days that he hadn't noticed these things. "I'll go check on Senior Sister first," Hua Ruoxu said abruptly, standing up and hurrying towards Hua Yuluan's bedroom. He searched around but couldn't find Hanxue. A growing worry began to creep into his heart. He cursed himself for his carelessness; if anything happened to Hanxue again, he feared he'd never forgive himself. He suddenly realized that since Hanxue's return, he hadn't properly cared for her, not even asking how she had recovered. "Second Senior Sister, I'm going out for a bit." There was one last place he hadn't checked: the Love Pavilion. Although Hua Ruoxu thought it unlikely Hanxue had gone there, he still wanted to try. Hua Feimeng wanted to follow, but opened her mouth without speaking. By the time she tried to speak again, Hua Ruoxu had already left. *** *** *** As Hua Ruoxu hurried towards the Love Pavilion, the image of Hanxue's adorable, coquettish manner kept replaying in his mind. His pace quickened unconsciously. Suddenly, he saw a shadow flash by, and Hua Ruoxu abruptly stopped. The back view was so familiar! "Feixu?" Hua Ruoxu immediately recognized the person. After a slight hesitation, he chased after the direction Feixu had disappeared in. Turning into a narrow alley, Hua Ruoxu found Feixu standing there. Wearing a black cloak, her beautiful face held a hint of indescribable resentment. She stared intently at Hua Ruoxu, her eyes revealing complex emotions. "You deliberately lured me here?" Hua Ruoxu instantly understood, because judging from Feixu's current appearance, she seemed to have been waiting for him. "Young Master, it's been a long time. How are you?" Feixu's voice was clear but somewhat low, with a hint of affection in her tone. "I'm fine, thank you for your concern, Miss Feixu." Hua Ruoxu replied, slightly taken aback. He didn't have a deep impression of Feixu, because every time he saw her, she was almost always with Su Daier, while it was usually Liuyun who came to see him. "Is Miss alright?" Feixu asked softly. "Feixu, Daier is fine too, but you hurt her." Hua Ruoxu didn't know what Feixu was up to. Logically speaking, she had betrayed Su Daier, so her reaction upon seeing him shouldn't be like this. "Please tell Miss that I'm sorry to her!" Feixu said softly, a hint of tears in her eyes. "Feixu, why don't you go and tell her yourself?" Hua Ruoxu sighed softly. "You've been with Daier for over ten years, why did you betray her?" "There are some things you'll never understand!" Feixu said calmly. "Young master, see you in the next life!" With that, Feixu's figure flashed, and she quickly ran out of the alley. "See you in the next life?" Hua Ruoxu was slightly startled and hurriedly chased after her, only to find that she had already disappeared. *** *** *** Feixu ran out of the alley and quickly turned into another corner. "Now that you've found me, come out!" Feixu stopped and said coldly. "Feixu, the Palace Master has always trusted you, but you took advantage of that trust and almost put the Palace Master in a deadly situation. Do you know what crime you deserve?" Four people appeared around her in a row, the Four Gentlemen of Wine, Women, Wealth, and Temper, and the one who spoke was Tianxie. "Isn't it just death? I knew this day would come." Feixu said indifferently, "Do it." She didn't seem to have any intention of fighting back. The Four Gentlemen exchanged glances and simultaneously struck Feixu with their palms. Feixu gently closed her eyes. She knew she was no match for the four of them, and more importantly, she had no intention of fighting back. She just wanted to close her eyes and wait for death. She felt a numbness in her body, and then her body became light. She had been lifted up by someone. "What are you doing?" Fei Xu was shocked. The four men hadn't killed her; they had only acupunctured her pressure points.

"You are the Palace Master's maid, so it's the Palace Master who should deal with you. Besides, the Palace Master has instructed that once you are found, you must be brought to her alive." Tianxie looked at Feixu with lustful eyes, making her shiver.
"No, I don't want to see Miss!" Feixu shouted, trying to struggle, but of course, it was impossible; she couldn't move at all.
"Whether or not you see the Palace Master is up to her, not your decision." Tianxie chuckled. "Besides, I think the Palace Master will definitely want to know why our Miss Feixu wanted to see the Palace Master's lover before she wanted to die?"
"I don't want to see Miss, let me go!" Feixu still cried out, but Tianxie casually silenced her by pressing her acupoint, and the world instantly became much quieter.

"Little brother, did you miss your sister?" As soon as Hua Ruoxu entered the Love Pavilion, he found Hua Tianxing standing there with a charming smile. Her extraordinary beauty, coupled with her seductive tone, made Hua Ruoxu's heart flutter again.
"Sister, what brings you here?" Hua Ruoxu barely suppressed his burgeoning desire and asked with some surprise. In his memory, Hua Tianxing should be in her little house.
"Knowing you were coming, of course I came too," Hua Tianxing chuckled.
"Sister, have you seen Hanxue?" Hua Ruoxu asked anxiously, after all, that was the purpose of his visit.
"Hanxue? She's in the main hall, but I don't know what she's doing. She hasn't come out for days and won't let anyone in," Hua Tianxing said lazily, pointing inside. Hua Ruoxu quickly strode in, only to find Zhao Changkong standing at the hall entrance, his face filled with anxiety and helplessness.
"Alliance Leader, you're here! That's great! Quick, go in and persuade Miss Hanxue!" Zhao Changkong's face lit up with joy upon seeing Hua Ruoxu.
"Changkong, what's wrong? Is Hanxue inside?" Hua Ruoxu's expression relaxed; no matter what, Hanxue was definitely here.
"Alliance Leader, there's no time to waste, so I'll just give you a brief explanation. Miss Hanxue can use her medical skills to increase people's internal energy, but this is very taxing on her body. She hasn't rested for almost three days and three nights, but no matter how we try to persuade her, she won't stop. She says she won't rest until all the disciples here have improved their internal energy. Yingying and I can't persuade her at all, but because it's dangerous right now and we can't be disturbed, we dare not leave. Please go and persuade her." Zhao Changkong hurriedly explained, but before he could finish speaking, Hua Ruoxu had already slipped inside.
In the hall, all the disciples were sitting cross-legged. Hanxue's pretty face was pale, and Huang Yingying was supporting her.
"Xiaoxue!" Hua Ruoxu rushed over and hugged her tightly. "Do you want to die?" His voice was full of anger and pity.
"Young Master, why did you come? I wanted to give you a surprise." Hanxue said sweetly, but her voice was clearly hoarse.
"You're coming back with me now!" Hua Ruoxu picked her up and was about to leave without saying another word.
"Young Master, no, if I leave now, all this effort will be wasted. Don't worry, just wait half an hour, until they finish their cultivation, then I'll spend another two hours, and it'll be fine," Hanxue said hurriedly, then put on a pitiful look. "Young Master, wait a minute, you'll see that Xiaoxue wasn't lying to you."
"Xiaoxue, look at yourself now!" Hua Ruoxu suddenly felt a pang of sadness. In just a few days, Hanxue's radiance had almost vanished, she had become haggard, and her once lustrous black hair had turned gray.
"Young Master, Xiaoxue is a divine doctor, you can trust Xiaoxue, everything will be alright," Hanxue said softly, then suddenly pricked herself with a silver needle.
"Xiaoxue, what are you doing?" Hua Ruoxu was startled.
"Young Master, put Xiaoxue down. In Young Master's arms, Xiaoxue... Xiaoxue just wants to sleep, but Xiaoxue can't sleep. There's still half an hour left, Xiaoxue can't sleep." Hanxue struggled to get down.
"Xiaoxue, sleep for a while, I'll wake you up later, okay?" Hua Ruoxu said softly, his eyes stinging with tears. Huang Yingying and Zhao Changkong beside him also felt a pang of sympathy, Huang Yingying even burst into tears.
"No, young master, you can't sleep, please put me down." As she spoke, Hanxue picked up another silver needle, preparing to prick herself.
"Okay, okay, I'll put you down." Hua Ruoxu quickly grabbed her hand and gently placed her on the ground. Hanxue took out another bottle from her bosom, poured out two pills, and put them in her mouth, seemingly becoming a little more alert.
Half an hour had been an ordeal for Hua Ruoxu. He almost wanted to forcibly bring Hanxue back, but he was afraid that doing so would make Hanxue uneasy for the rest of her life. In addition, he was also afraid of harming those who were practicing their internal energy. Putting aside whether their power could be improved, if they lost their lives, that would be a huge problem. Now he just hoped that this half hour plus the next two hours would pass quickly so he could take Hanxue, his adorable little girl, home.
"Little brother, don't worry so much. You can help her later," Hua Tianxing's voice came.
"Sister, are you serious? How can I help her?" Hua Ruoxu asked, as if he'd seen a savior.
"She's mainly using up too much of her internal energy. You can lend her some of yours," Hua Tianxing said, looking at him with a "little brother, you're so silly!"
"Sister, no way! I once used my internal energy to heal Dai'er and almost killed her!" Hua Ruoxu's face immediately fell.
"Oh, I see. It seems you really are silly, little brother. Don't worry, I'll teach you the incantation for healing and transferring energy later," Hua Tianxing said, tilting her head and thinking for a moment, looking very cute. Hua Ruoxu was both amused and exasperated. She had taught him all his martial arts, and every time he had a problem, she would call him silly, when in reality she hadn't taught him anything at all.

“Young Master, it’s alright, Xiaoxue wants to sleep.” Hanxue murmured, then leaned into Hua Ruoxu’s arms.
“Sister, you stay here and help watch over these disciples.” Hua Ruoxu gently cradled Hanxue in his arms, finally feeling relieved. “Changkong, Yingying, you haven’t rested for days and nights, go back and rest!”
“Alliance Leader, I’m fine. I’ll watch over them, just in case.” Zhao Changkong shook his head, then turned to Huang Yingying. “Yingying, you go back and rest first.”
“Brother-in-law, I’m not going back either. I’ll stay here with you.” Huang Yingying refused.
“Go back, all of you!” Hua Ruoxu said somewhat angrily, then turned and strode out. Zhao Changkong and Huang Yingying exchanged glances, finally following behind with some resignation, while Hua Tianxing showed a sweet smile.

“Is Xiaoxue alright?” Seeing Hua Ruoxu carrying Hanxue in, Hua Yufeng quickly came forward and asked.
"It's nothing, he's just asleep." Hua Ruoxu shook her head. "Second Senior Sister, please take care of things here. I'll take Xiaoxue back to her room first."
She gently placed Hanxue on the bed, gently covered her with the blanket, and then sat down on the edge of the bed, gazing at Hanxue in a daze.
He knew Hanxue had done all this for him, but he hadn't properly cared for her. Since learning she was safe, he seemed completely at ease, paying no attention to anything else concerning her. Actually, he could now guess that Hanxue had truly become a divine healer. Her previous statement that Hua Yuluan was alright wasn't unfounded, nor was her claim of turning Ximen Lin's white hair black; he had simply never paid attention. He could also vaguely deduce that Hanxue's medical skills came from the Valley of Medicine. Li Buren had said that only the Valley of Medicine could heal Hanxue's injuries besides the Great Rejuvenation Pill. Now that she had returned safely, he should have guessed it long ago.
"Xiaoxue, please don't let anything happen to you this time!" Hua Ruoxu prayed silently in his heart.

Demon Palace.
Feixu lowered her head, silent, a stubborn expression on her face.
"Liuyun, go and invite Brother Ruoxu over," Su Daier said calmly. Feixu's delicate body trembled slightly upon hearing this.

Volume Seven, Chapter Seven: A Journey to Shaolin.

Hanxue was sleeping soundly, her lovely cherry lips slightly upturned, though her face remained pale. Hua Ruoxu lovingly stroked her face, gently brushing her hair, his eyes filled with tenderness.
Soft footsteps sounded behind them, carrying a faint, pleasant fragrance. Hua Ruoxu didn't turn around, for he was already familiar with her scent.
"Is Xiaoxue alright?" Hua Yufeng asked softly, sitting down beside Hua Ruoxu.
"It's alright, but her true energy is severely depleted, almost to the point of exhaustion." Hua Ruoxu gently shook his head and sighed. "This silly girl, why did she have to push herself so hard when there was no need for it?"
"Isn't it all for you?" Hua Yufeng gave him a charmingly glare. "Xiaoxue would do anything for you, but you don't even appreciate it."
"I will take good care of Xiaoxue from now on." Hua Ruoxu said softly, casually putting his arm around Hua Yufeng's slender waist and whispering in her ear, "And you too!"
Hua Yufeng's pretty face flushed slightly, but her heart was filled with sweetness.
"Go out first, Xiaoxue won't wake up for a while." Hua Yufeng gently advised.
"You go out first, I'll watch over her." Hua Ruoxu shook his head.
Just then, footsteps came from the door, and Hua Yufeng opened the door to see Ximen Lin standing there.
"Ruoxu, Liuyun from the Demon Palace is here, saying she wants to see you." Ximen Lin saw that Hua Yufeng inside didn't react much, appearing very calm. Although it wasn't explicitly stated, everyone already knew about the close relationship between Hua Yufeng and Hua Ruoxu.
"Liuyun?" Hua Ruoxu frowned. Did Dai'er want to see him again?
*** *** ***
Just as Hua Ruoxu expected, Liuyun never seemed to have any other reason for coming to see him except for Su Dai'er wanting to see him. However, thinking of Hanxue, Hua Ruoxu hesitated.
"Liuyun, does Dai'er want to see me about anything else? How about this, you go back and tell Dai'er that I'll go to her place tonight." Hua Ruoxu thought that Hanxue should wake up tonight.
"Young Master, you should go now. Besides, did you see Feixu today? Feixu is with Miss now." Liuyun said after a slight hesitation.
"Feixu?" Hua Ruoxu recalled the scene when he saw her a few hours ago. He felt something was strange then. Could it really be related to him?
*** *** ***
Upon seeing Hua Ruoxu enter, Feixu's stubborn expression finally changed. She lowered her head, her delicate body trembling slightly.
"Brother Ruoxu, ask her. I want to know why my sister, who has been with me for over ten years, would betray me." Su Daier's tone was gentle, but Feixu's body involuntarily trembled slightly.
"Daier, won't she talk?" Hua Ruoxu asked, somewhat puzzled.
"Brother Ruoxu, she has been with me for so many years. I don't want to use torture." Su Daier gently shook her head. "She won't say anything, and she's determined to die. After she knew we had discovered her, she saw you one last time, so Daier thought perhaps she has something she wants to say to you, Brother Ruoxu."
"Liuyun, let's go out first!" Daier said, gracefully walking out the door, leaving Feixu and Hua Ruoxu alone in the room.
Feixu seemed to suddenly become tense, secretly glancing at Hua Ruoxu before immediately lowering her head again.
“Feixu, although I don’t know about what happened between you and Dai’er before, I always felt that you two were like sisters. This sudden change is truly unbelievable,” Hua Ruoxu said after a moment’s thought. “Actually, I can tell you must be regretting it too. Is there some reason for this?”
“Young Master, do you really want to know?” Feixu finally raised her head, looking at Hua Ruoxu with a strange gaze and a odd tone.
“Of course.” Hua Ruoxu felt a little uncomfortable under her gaze, but still answered firmly.
“Young Master, do you remember? When you were being hunted by the four great families, people would often deliberately disturb you because someone wanted to kill you; and people who wanted to kill you would often mysteriously disappear because they were dead. Do you know who did all this?” Feixu looked at Hua Ruoxu with a resentful expression.
Hua Ruoxu was slightly taken aback. Thinking back, it was indeed as Feixu had said; people would often throw stones as warnings, and those who were secretly following him would often suddenly disappear. Feixu knew so much about it, so the answer was obvious.
"You've been following me all this time?" Although Hua Ruoxu had already guessed, he couldn't help but ask.
"Ever since Miss fell in love with Young Master, she's worried about your safety, so I've spent almost all my time following you. But what about you? You only have eyes for Miss; when have you ever cared about me?" Feixu's voice grew louder.
"This... Feixu, I didn't know, and you never told me." Hua Ruoxu felt increasingly uneasy. Judging from Feixu's tone, he could vaguely understand her thoughts.
“Of course you don’t know. Even if you did, so what? I’m just a little maid, not as pretty as Miss, and inferior to her in every way. How could I possibly earn your favor?” Fei Xu murmured. “I’ve been by Miss’s side since I was a child. The men I’ve seen are either too old or meant to be killed by me. I’ve never cared for a man my age like I did for you. Never. I really hate Miss. Why did she make me take care of you for so long? Why didn’t she take care of the person she liked herself?”
“Fei Xu, is this what you’re trying to do to kill me and Dai’er?” Hua Ruoxu’s mind was in turmoil. She didn’t know what to say and finally managed to ask this question after a long while.
“Yes, it’s fine if you don’t like me, but why do you always appear in front of me with Miss? Since you two like being together so much, it would be better if you both died. Then I wouldn’t have to see you every day.” Fei Xu’s face showed a half-smile, and her eyes were somewhat empty.
"Feixu, you may be able to fool Brother Ruoxu, but you can't fool me." Su Daier's cold voice came in. "If you really like Brother Ruoxu, you don't need to do this at all. Since you are my maid, you will naturally accompany Brother Ruoxu as part of my dowry. Do you need to worry about this? Besides, it's not that I underestimate you, but with your abilities, you simply couldn't have sent out so many assassins and laid out poison everywhere!" Su Daier and Liu Yun seemed to have been outside all along, and at this moment they pushed the door open and came in.
"Yes, it's strange that so much poison didn't kill you. The young master isn't even afraid of poison, and he even saved you." Fei Xu seemed somewhat confused, her words incoherent.
"Fei Xu, even now, you still won't tell us who ordered you?" Liu Yun couldn't help but speak up.
"Why should I say? I'm going to die anyway. I've wanted to die for a long time. Living is so painful, death is better." Fei Xu's condition was indeed poor; she only wanted to die.
"Dai'er, can you hand Fei Xu over to me?" Hua Ruoxu pondered for a while before suddenly asking.
Su Dai'er seemed slightly taken aback, then nodded gently.
*** *** ***
Fei Xu quietly followed behind Hua Ruoxu. Hua Ruoxu didn't return to the Hua residence but took her out of Jinling City.
"You can go now!" Hua Ruoxu released the pressure points on her body and sighed softly.
"You're just letting me go like this?" Fei Xu seemed to have calmed down considerably, but she was still somewhat surprised by Hua Ruoxu's words.
"Whether you're telling the truth or not, it's a fact that you secretly helped me for so many days. Consider this my way of helping you this time. Just remember, I hope you won't help others against Dai'er in the future," Hua Ruoxu said calmly.
"Just because of that?" Fei Xu's tone seemed quite disappointed.
Hua Ruoxu hesitated slightly, then nodded.
"Take care, young master," Fei Xu said softly, turning and quickly running back into the city. Watching her disappearing figure, Hua Ruoxu was lost in thought, a bitter feeling welling up inside him.
*** *** ***
"Back so early?" Hua Feimeng looked surprised to see Hua Ruoxu return. She felt uncomfortable hearing that Hua Ruoxu was going to Su Dai'er's place, still resentful about the night Hua Ruoxu had left her alone for Su Dai'er's sake.
"Meng'er, is Xiaoxue awake?" Hua Ruoxu smiled bitterly.

"I don't know, I wasn't watching her," Hua Feimeng said angrily, but her expression quickly returned to seriousness. "Someone is looking for you, they want to give you something, and it has to be given to you in person." At this point, Hua Feimeng was inwardly cursing the little monk. She had already said she was Hua Ruoxu's wife, but that person still wouldn't give it to her.
"Young Master Hua, please open this yourself!" Hua Ruoxu immediately saw the little monk waiting for him in the main hall. He was an ordinary little monk, nothing special, but as soon as Hua Ruoxu entered, the little monk recognized him at a glance.
"Come to Shaolin immediately! Urgent! Urgent! Urgent! Jueyuan!" A secret letter, a few words, powerful and vigorous. Hua Ruoxu recognized the handwriting at a glance; it was indeed written by Zen Master Jueyuan.
A surge of emotion welled up within Hua Ruoxu. In his memory, Zen Master Jueyuan was always very amiable and unhurried. Since he had known Zen Master Jueyuan, he had never seen him anxious, nor had he ever heard him utter the word "urgency." Yet today, in this letter, three out of the nine characters contained the word "urgency," indicating that the situation was far from serious.
"Young Master Hua, please destroy this letter!" the little monk spoke again.
Hua Ruoxu gently crushed the letter, and it instantly turned to powder. The powder gently fell from his fingers, and Hua Ruoxu's expression became somewhat grave.
"Second Senior Sister, please help me prepare. I'm going on a long trip," Hua Ruoxu said in a deep voice.
"When?" Hua Yufeng's delicate body trembled slightly, her tone filled with reluctance.
"I'm leaving now," Hua Ruoxu said softly, then turned to the little monk, "If you don't mind, please stay here for a few days."
"Master instructed me; I will follow Young Master Hua's orders," the little monk nodded.
*** *** ***
Hua Ruoxu arrived at the door, where Hua Yufeng and the other women saw him off. Even Hua Yuluan, with her slightly protruding belly, came to see him off.
"Second Senior Sister," Hua Ruoxu suddenly embraced Hua Yufeng, and then Hua Yufeng heard Hua Ruoxu's voice transmission, "I'm going to Shaolin to see Zen Master Jueyuan. Zen Master Jueyuan may have encountered great trouble. You and Sister Lin will take care of things here for now. Also, please take good care of Senior Sister and Xiaoxue for me."
Hua Yufeng nodded gently.
"Take care, I'll wait for you to come back!" Hua Yufeng said softly.
He spurred his horse and rode away in a cloud of dust. Hua Yuluan's eyes were red. She wanted to go with him, but she knew she couldn't leave now. At this moment, she couldn't help but feel a little resentful for the child in her belly.
"Sister, don't worry, my good brother-in-law who's always been a womanizer has always been very lucky. He'll be fine," Hua Feihua comforted Hua Feimeng.
"The sun is almost setting, and he can't even wait until tomorrow to leave? He hasn't told us what happened, something terrible must have occurred," Hua Feimeng muttered. Suddenly, she noticed the little monk. "Hey, little monk, what's in that letter?"
"Amitabha, benefactor, this humble monk hasn't read it either," the little monk said, pressing his palms together and chanting a Buddhist prayer. Hua Feimeng was furious but helpless, but from that moment on, she was convinced that monks were all bad people.

"Where is he going? Why is he in such a hurry!" A slender figure in black muttered to himself, watching Hua Ruoxu's retreating figure. Soon after, another horse galloped away.
*** *** ***
The sky gradually darkened. After several hours of rapid travel, the horse seemed exhausted and slowed considerably. Hua Ruoxu simply abandoned the horse and continued on foot.
Moonlight, like water, filtered through the sparse branches and dappled the forest. Hua Ruoxu began to slow his pace.
"Come out, aren't you tired after following me for so long?" Hua Ruoxu suddenly stopped, turned around abruptly, and said to a large tree in front of her.
"It's you?" Hua Ruoxu was taken aback when she saw the person turning around from behind the tree. It was Fei Xu, still dressed in black.
"I wasn't following you, I was just on my own," Fei Xu said somewhat awkwardly, then added, "We just happened to be going the same way."
"Then you can continue, I need to rest for a while." Hua Ruoxu had been traveling for most of the night and was indeed quite tired, so she simply sat down.
"Oh, I, I'm tired too, I'll rest for a while as well," Fei Xu said, sitting down opposite Hua Ruoxu.
