[Fantasy Martial Arts] The Legend of the Heavenly Evil (Complete) - 39

Chapter Twelve

, the third match of the final five in the Myriad Tribulations Space, continued the tradition of the previous two matches, with results that were completely unexpected, even shocking.

All three finals saw duelists die, highlighting the brutality and importance of this competition. The number of collateral damage was approaching three digits; whether observers or participants, even without the predictive power of "Manas," it was clear that the death toll would only increase in the remaining two finals.

The death of "Guanyin Tiannu" Fan Xindi was a fatal blow to the already weakened righteous path. Although some deduced from the unexpected ending that Fan Xindi's death had other causes, this crucial defeat undoubtedly gave the "Six Paths Realm," which had no way out, a chance to breathe. With

three wins out of five matches, the "Six Paths Realm" currently has a record of two wins and one loss.

In other words, the "Six Paths Realm" must win at least two consecutive matches in the next two finals to avoid being permanently eliminated from the martial world.

Considering the implications of this final match for the entire world's balance, the pressure was immense enough to turn ten strategists' hair white overnight. However, from Ni Tianxie's calm and composed smile, there was no trace of "pressure."

Putting aside everything else, his composure alone was something the "Peerless Evil God" could boast of being unmatched.

Despite the unfavorable situation, Ni Tianxie's smile remained unchanged, a mixture of three parts mockery, three parts coldness, three parts arrogance, and one part unfathomable depth.

"You escaped a calamity, or was this also part of your calculations?"

Di Shitian stared intently at Ni Tianxie, who sat beside him. Although he asked the question, he didn't expect an answer.

Besides being a martial artist, Di Shitian also considered himself a sage. Whether in martial arts or strategy, Di Shitian had no intention of losing to Ni Tianxie.

It was just that the boy's smile was truly annoying.

Ni Tianxie chuckled, looked up at the sky, and after a long while, said, "The fourth battle should begin, shouldn't it?"

A murderous glint flashed in Di Shitian's eyes, and his face darkened as he said, "Fine! I'll see what tricks you can pull next!"

Di Shitian waved his hand and shouted at the notary on the stage, "Continue!"

The notary was startled, but dared not disobey Di Shitian's order. He quickly gathered his breath and shouted, "The fourth match of the top five finals begins! Representatives from both sides, please come to the stage!"

Along with Ni Tianxie's words, a figure suddenly appeared. The notary only felt a blur before his eyes, and in that instant, he seemed to see a demon emerging from hell!

If Long Bufei and the third-ranked in the world had murderous auras like a ball of black fire, then the aura of this person on the stage was like an endless black hole, capable of devouring everything, and carrying a bone-chilling coldness. Cold! Absolutely freezing cold! So cold that he no longer resembled a human being, but a lifeless corpse!

But a corpse would never have such a heavy murderous aura. The moment the Yaksha appeared,

Indra's pupils contracted and then dilated sharply.

Even his "Eye of No Leaks" and "Heaven and Earth Spiritual Search" couldn't fully capture the Yaksha's appearance; he only vaguely caught a fleeting black shadow. This showed that the opponent's movement had surpassed "extreme speed" and reached the level of "divine speed."

—No wonder this kid was so confident; he'd been hiding so many powerful trump cards!

The notary was startled by the Yaksha's ghostly figure and momentarily forgot to speak. It was only after Indra's impatient snort that he snapped out of his daze and asked, "So, who represents the Heavenly Palace and the Martial Alliance in the fourth battle?"

"I'll go!"

A relaxed laugh dispelled the chill emanating from the Yaksha on the stage. "Cang Xie" Bai Mo, with his signature sunny boyish smile and a new longsword slung across his waist, strolled confidently onto the stage.

As the top warrior under "Heavenly King" Indra, "White Demon" Bai Mo represented the "Heavenly Palace" in this crucial fourth battle, and it's believed no one else would dare to object.

Ni Tianxie smiled as he watched Bai Mo walk onto the stage, saying, "Don't blame me for not warning you, fighting a Yaksha means certain death!"

Bai Mo laughed, "That's perfect, I was just worried Yama wouldn't take me in."

Ni Tianxie then turned to Indra, saying, "Your palace is already running out of talent, is Your Majesty sure you still want to send my little brother Bai Mo to fight this doomed battle?"

Indra didn't back down, coldly retorting, "The Six Paths of Reincarnation now only has you as a shikigami hanging there, doesn't Your Majesty feel lonely?"

Ni Tianxie raised an eyebrow, saying, "I'm just offering a friendly reminder. If Your Majesty doesn't want to accept, I won't force you."

"I appreciate the good intentions, may we begin?"

Ni Tianxie turned to the notary, winking with a mischievous smile, "When it begins, remember to run away quickly!"

"Huh?"

The notary didn't immediately grasp the meaning of those words. Ni Tianxie coldly shouted, "Yaksha!" The killing god, who had been standing motionless like a puppet, suddenly emitted crimson light from his pupils on his bloodless face, followed by a heart-wrenching scream.

"Ah—!!"

Most people in the arena had no idea what had happened. They only saw the notary's body suddenly split in two, his intestines and blood spilling onto the ground. One side of his body flew off the stage, eliciting screams from countless spectators below.

—What?! When did he make his move? How could I not see it!

No one saw clearly what happened on the stage, including Bai Mo. However, his "Unmoved Evil Heart" acted first, causing his body to react directly to the crisis. He wielded his sword with both hands and slashed down vertically—

"Clang!"

It was as if two bolts of lightning collided, but Bai Mo felt a shock no less than that of Ni Tianxie or Di Shitian personally attacking. His tiger's mouth exploded, splattering blood, and he was sent flying three zhang away, but he managed to save his life.

"Impossible! This speed..."

White Demon was so shocked he forgot to maintain his smile. If it weren't for the guidance of Indra these past few days, which had allowed him to comprehend the mysteries of "Manas" and elevate his "Unmoved Evil Heart" cultivation to a higher level, he would have been killed on the spot with just this one strike!

But the enemy gave him no room to breathe. A gray shadow tore through space at lightning speed, like a thin ghostly shadow rushing towards him.

White Demon raised the spiderweb of his consciousness to its maximum level, catching a fleeting killing intent in the chaotic void. He leaped up, barely managing to avoid the Yaksha's attack. Then, his blade transformed into a white light, the flying blade arcing towards the back of the Yaksha's neck.

The Yaksha was completely unaware. As a weapon of slaughter, he had no concept of "dodging." He flipped his five fingers, and each fingertip sprouted a blade-like bone spur. He had just used this to kill the notary!

White Demon swung his blade, only to find five sharp sword energies thrusting towards him. The gust of wind stung his skull, and in a flash, White Demon knew this would only lead to mutual destruction. He quickly swerved, dodging the Yaksha's five-fingered blade, but still inevitably suffered three bloody cuts and broke out in a cold sweat.

—I forgot, this guy isn't ordinary.

In the blink of an eye, White Demon had already been on the verge of death at least twice, as if he were back in the "alien land," facing the "peerless evil god" with the same terror he felt.

White Demon retreated, facing a pair of emotionless, indifferent, and fierce eyes.

A killing weapon has no feelings, so it doesn't know how to show mercy. The reason it stopped its attack was because its master hadn't given the order to continue.

Even Di Shitian noticed this subtle detail, and couldn't help but frown.

Bai Mo quickly regained his fighting stance, his longsword held before his chest, the blade forming an invisible triangle with his eyes, assuming a combined offensive and defensive sword formation.

The pause was only brief; as his fingernails grew even longer, Yaksha's body moved like a tiger unleashed, his merciless blood claws aimed to pierce Bai Mo's brain and kill him.

Bai Mo's face regained its composure, his sword flashing as he met the attack head-on. Despite the claw marks and the relentless onslaught, Bai Mo remained steadfast, his "unyielding evil heart" allowing him to plan his moves carefully, striking first despite being behind, as if anticipating his opponent's next move. His sword formation prevented Yaksha's bone blades from crossing the line, leaving only claw marks on the hard arena.

Amidst the impenetrable claw shadows, a glimpse of Bai Mo's composed smile could be seen. His long sword moved subtly amidst the chilling aura, like a small boat adrift on a raging storm, always able to sail safely no matter how high the waves.

"Good."

Seeing his beloved disciple finally escape danger, Di Shitian couldn't help but feel a great weight lifted from his heart and praised him.

"Prolonged defense inevitably leads to defeat."

Ni Tianxie added this simple comment, yet it made Di Shitian take notice.

As if to confirm Ni Tianxie's words, a warning sign of danger rose in Bai Mo's heart. The surrounding temperature suddenly dropped, and the biting cold wind seemed like the manifestation of the obsessions of vengeful spirits. His body, rising from the ground, was both real and illusory, like a ghostly shadow, pulled by a mysterious force, causing Bai Mo to lose his sense of space.

"This is..." Di Shitian's expression changed.

"The Yaksha's 'Ultimate'—Eternal Calamity Space..." Ni Tianxie chuckled leisurely, his laughter revealing immense pride and confidence.

A move that would even make Di Shitian tremble was certainly extraordinary.

The immense pressure instantly locked onto Bai Mo, and at the same time, the Yaksha's figure completely vanished from the arena. However, the surrounding killing intent increased exponentially. Despite Bai Mo's tightest defense, countless killing intents still pierced through his body in an instant.

"Crack!"

Although Bai Mo's "Unmoved Evil Heart" had triggered an instinctive dodge, he still couldn't escape being hit. First

, a large chunk of flesh was ripped from his thigh, then his shoulder, wrist, neck, and feet… Each wound, though small, was excruciatingly painful. Bai Mo felt as if he had fallen into a river surrounded by piranhas, being gnawed at by unseen teeth, his body covered in wounds.

Unimaginable! Yaksha's ultimate move was merely the opening stance, yet it had already inflicted such a severe wound on White Demon. Faced with this invisible, unblockable, and unavoidable attack of intangible killing intent, even White Demon, who valued life and death above all else, couldn't help but feel a sense of despair and trembling. His intuition told him that he had no chance of evading such a terrifying attack.

Below the arena, the crowd witnessed an incredibly bizarre and terrifying scene. White Demon stood motionless in the center of the arena, but his body was constantly bursting with bloody wounds, the blood staining the stone slabs beneath his feet, as if a group of ghosts invisible to the naked eye were cruelly and mercilessly slaughtering him in broad daylight!

Di Shitian could no longer maintain his seated posture on the dragon throne, his fists clenched tightly. With his martial arts prowess, he could naturally see the terrifying nature of Yaksha's move at a glance, and at the same time, he was certain that White Demon had no chance of withstanding this attack. Even if he were to face this attack, he would not be able to escape unscathed unless he used the "Nine Yang Ultimate" to forcefully break through, but even that would come at a certain price.

White Demon had no chance of escaping unscathed from this terrifying attack; death was his only fate.

Unless someone intervened to help him.

Emperor Shitian was caught in a dilemma: if he didn't help White Demon, the latter would surely die; if he did, it would be tantamount to admitting defeat and severely damaging his prestige.

"Clang!"

Just as Emperor Shitian was considering, a crisp sound of a weapon breaking echoed across the mountaintop, hastening the "Great Sun Heavenly King's" final decision.

Though the blade was broken, the man was not dead, but judging from White Demon's injuries, everyone would believe he was only one step away from death!

—Never mind

, Emperor Shitian finally made up his mind. Losing this battle would at most result in a 2-2 draw. He was confident he could easily defeat that brat, Ni Tianxie, by personally leading the final battle. But White Demon was an important candidate for the next generation of "Heavenly Palace" successor; he couldn't die here so meaninglessly.

Losing Grand Tutor Wen was already painful enough; he couldn't afford to lose a talent like White Demon as well.

Di Shitian roared, unleashing the Nine Yang Blazing Flames that shattered his dragon throne. The fragments, intentionally or unintentionally, flew towards Ni Tianxie not far away, his aim being to prevent Ni Tianxie from interfering with his next move.

"Stop! We concede!"

he shouted before attacking, intending to give Ni Tianxie a reason for not interfering and a legitimate excuse to save his beloved disciple. However, as he shifted his body, he realized that the "Peerless Evil God" had no intention of stopping him whatsoever.

A sense of foreboding flickered in Di Shitian's heart, but the urgency of the situation left him no time for further thought.

"Show mercy!"

As the master of a palace, Di Shitian's every action was imbued with the thoughtfulness of a powerful figure. The force of his attack and the tone of his voice were inversely proportional; even if he had to concede and forfeit the match, he would not allow his opponent to secure a complete victory. A white, blazing

fireball, infused with over ninety percent of his power, condensed between his palms. From the previous battle, he had confirmed that Yaksha was a fighting machine that only knew how to advance and not retreat. In other words, in the final battle, there was absolutely no possibility of him being distracted. He had a 90% chance of breaking through Yaksha's protective aura and taking his life with his sudden attack.

Then, he could just say some polite words to clean up the mess.

Unfortunately, Di Shitian's plan would never come to fruition, because just as he stormed into the arena with murderous intent, Yaksha's "Myriad Calamities Space" suddenly opened up a gap on its own. The timing was so perfect that it seemed as if an entrance had been prepared for him in advance, rendering his original killing move completely useless.

—This is!

At this moment, Di Shitian finally realized something was wrong, and at the same time, a meticulously planned killing scheme against him began to unfold.

The first to strike was the very person he was trying to rescue, his prized general—"Azure Demon" White Demon!

The White Demon attacked with a broken blade, the silver light tearing through the atmosphere. Its speed even surpassed that before the battle, making one wonder if he was truly seriously injured.

"Hmph!"

The battle-hardened Emperor Shitian wouldn't be subdued by mere betrayal or a surprise attack; otherwise, he wouldn't be worthy of being one of the Four Great Generals, the "Great Sun Heavenly King." Even if the White Demon's chosen assassination opportunity was indeed one in a million, the difference in skill couldn't be bridged by timing alone. To give an example, no matter how unexpected a wolfhound's attack, it couldn't kill an elephant.

Emperor Shitian swept his palm, the resulting scorching wind enough to deflect the fatal blow. A follow-up strike would be enough to take the traitor's life.

"Die!"

Emperor Shitian tolled the death knell for the White Demon with these succinct words. He had no intention of sparing his opponent's life to question him; traitors must die! This was his highest principle; compared to it, everything else seemed insignificant.

Just as his incinerating palm strike was about to land on the White Demon's chest, several powerful gusts of wind simultaneously erupted from below the arena, forming a focal point of attack around him.

"Even you..."

A chilling light flashed in Di Shitian's icy eyes. Facing the second unexpected wave of assassins, a golden flame called "killing intent" finally ignited in his heart.

"Lou Xueyi! Ye Meixie! Dugu Bingxin! Are you three tired of living?"

Faced with the combined attack of three masters, even with the protection of his "Undying Light Body," Di Shitian couldn't guarantee he would escape unscathed. He had to silently activate his inner energy, changing his stance to a flame shield, using his profound internal strength to deflect their attacks.

Waves of killing intent surged forward relentlessly. Yaksha clasped his hands together, his body spinning like a spindle, the bone blades at his fingertips sweeping outwards like a storm, aiming directly for Di Shitian's throat.

Faced with these successive attacks, Di Shitian's anger and killing intent had reached a point beyond words.

"You all deserve to die!!"

Blazing white flames instantly engulfed the entire arena.

Chapter Two: The Battle of Two Heavens

Since ancient times, there have never been two suns in the sky, nor two rulers on earth.

The perfect martial artist possessing both unparalleled cultivation and supreme wisdom existed in the previous generation as "Yan Huang" Jun Nitian and "Tian Jian Jue Dao" Ding Chenyi; this generation boasts "Jue Shi Xie" Nitianxie and "Da Ri Tian Wang" Di Shitian. Before "Sword Emperor and Blade Emperor" Ding Shenzhao finds his own true "comprehension," he is temporarily unable to compare with these four.

Perhaps it is a deliberate arrangement of fate that the strongest are destined to be each other's "natural enemies." "Invincibility is the loneliest thing" is merely a process, not the destination, on the path of the strong. Because of equally matched opponents, Jun Nitian and Ding Chenyi were able to both break through to the "ultimate," allowing "ultimate" masters to appear in this world.

Following the path trodden by their predecessors, now Nitianxie and Di Shitian, two strongest individuals from different standpoints, can only allow one to survive. Will it be the peerless Nitianxie, or the invincible Di Shitian?

The Peak of Life and Death, the fifth battle of the five-way finals, the second battle of the Emperor's War, is also the final battle for Nitianxie and Di Shitian.

Even without the White Demon, the final five, or the struggle for supremacy, the battle between the "Heavenly King" and the "Heavenly Emperor" was ultimately inevitable! Both involved knew this better than anyone.

Arguably the two strongest among the "Four Great Generals," the "Great Sun Heavenly King" and the "Peerless Evil God," two unparalleled powerhouses, hadn't even officially made a move yet, but the fighting spirit and killing intent emanating from them had already drastically altered the sky, filling it with dark clouds. This made all the onlookers feel as if a heavy stone was pressing on their hearts, making it hard to breathe, and making everyone aware of their "seriousness" about this battle.

However, before the battle began, there were still some loose ends between them.

"Why did you save me?"

Facing the White Demon's question, the Heavenly Evil God didn't even turn his head, replying, "This Emperor never needs to explain his actions to anyone."

With that, he struck backward with his palm, sending a gentle force that instantly propelled the exhausted and immobile White Demon five zhang away. Not only that, Bai Mo also sensed a hidden force within Ni Tianxie's palm, but its purpose wasn't to harm him; rather, it was to heal him! The incomparably powerful Heavenly Origin True Qi allowed him to instantly recover more than 30% of his strength, enough to protect himself.

If you were to say that the "Peerless Evil God" would change his nature and become compassionate to save the world, Bai Mo would be the first to disbelieve it. But what was going on with his current actions?

Di Shitian had witnessed Ni Tianxie's intervention to save Bai Mo. If he wanted to stop or sabotage it, opportunities would have been plentiful, but the latter showed no sign of intervening. Was he intentionally holding back, or did he have other considerations? It was truly a matter of great suspicion.

"I'll deal with you first, then I'll go after him. Even if the traitor escapes to the ends of the earth, he won't escape my grasp!"

Ni Tianxie laughed. "You don't need to go anywhere... because you'll die here today!"

Di Shitian took a step forward, and the murderous aura around him instantly doubled. He said, "I can return those words to you later."

"Two wins and two losses, so in the end, it still depends on the two of us to determine the final victory?"

Di Shitian sneered. "It doesn't matter how many wins or losses there are, because you and I both know that the final victory will only end when I grind you to dust."

Ni Tianxie laughed loudly. "Hahaha! I never knew you were so humorous!"

"Seize the last moment you can laugh in your life..."

Di Shitian decided to end this boring and tedious conversation and take action to tear his so-called "natural enemy" in two! But just before he decided to make his move, his hateful "enemy" had another trick up his sleeve.

"Wait."

The mocking tone in Ni Tianxie's words infuriated Di Shitian even more.

"Ni Tianxie! Your father, Jun Ni Tian, is the opponent I respect most in my life! And you, you are just a damned enemy!"

Ni Tianxie sneered, "I hate it when people compare me to that old ghost. You've violated this taboo, Di Shitian, you won't die easily."

"Enough nonsense! Let's fight!"

Ni Tianxie waved his hand and said, "Wait, don't you want to know what my true intention is in deliberately arranging this final five-way battle?"

Di Shitian was taken aback. This was indeed a question that had been puzzling him for a long time, but if he admitted it now, it would be tantamount to handing over the initiative to the other party, which was something the extremely proud Heavenly King could not tolerate.

As if seeing through Di Shitian's intentions, Ni Tianxie, without waiting for a reply, spread his arms wide and arrogantly continued, "It cannot be denied that now only you and I are divided in the world. The invincible 'Heavenly Emperor' and the invincible 'Heavenly King'! This battle will decide who is the strongest in the world. How can such an important battle be without sacrifices? Therefore, I have carefully prepared this arena competition, using the most lives and blood in history as the sacrifice for this battle—the 'Battle of the Two Heavens'!"

The cold-blooded killing intent behind these words could probably only be understood by the "Heavenly King," who was on par with the "Heavenly Emperor." It even made the usually composed Di Shitian change his expression and lose his composure.

"Ni Tianxie! What exactly do you want?"

"What do I want? Can't you see?" Ni Tianxie suddenly threw his head back and laughed wildly, his laughter filled with a twisted, insane cruelty: "This Emperor will destroy everything!"

Ni Tianxie suddenly raised his hand, and the blue light of the Eternal World Sword shot sharply towards the dragon throne. Too close, and caught off guard, Di Shitian was completely unable to stop it, and could only watch helplessly as the dragon throne shattered under the sword's strike. Then, the most terrifying thing happened.

"Boom!"

It turned out that Ni Tianxie's sword had triggered a large amount of high explosives hidden beneath the dragon throne, with pipelines already buried deep underground! A series of explosions, like the end of the world, resounded, and the ground beneath was blasted up like boiling water, becoming a deathly inferno filled with smoke!

In this utterly destroyed space, except for a very few of the strongest and the lucky ones, death was an inevitable fate for everyone present!

Nearly several thousand martial artists were reduced to dust in this death ceremony adorned with fire and blood; the death toll exceeded ninety percent of those present! It was an unprecedented catastrophe in the history of martial arts, and it took more than a hundred years for it to recover.

Mountains collapsed and the earth cracked, as if returning to chaos.

As the series of explosions finally ended, the dust settled and the smoke dissipated, revealing that the towering "Peak of Life and Death" had been reduced to scorched earth by the explosives! This demonstrated the immense power of the explosion.

It turned out that Yu Baixue's death had finally led Ni Tianxie to adopt the thought patterns of "Six Paths Saint Emperor" Sheng Yukong, choosing "destruction" as the meaning of his life, and thus planning this final ritual. Its true purpose was to kill everyone in the world!

When the "Peerless Evil God" chose to become the "Destruction Evil God," it marked the beginning of the world's demise!

At this moment, the wind blowing across the rubble and ruins sounded like the wailing of impending doom.

Amidst the crimson inferno, a rabbit-god figure, forged from destruction and cruelty, stood, possessing the top-tier cultivation of the "Heavenly Dao Sacred Armor." He had even arranged to hide in the least affected area beforehand, and the "Peerless Evil God," Ni Tianxie, remained serenely untouched by the explosion.

His opponent, however, was far less fortunate. While the "Great Sun Heavenly King" might surpass him in power, Di Shitian had already expended considerable true energy in his previous battle. Although the explosion wouldn't severely injure him, it was enough to diminish his strength further. Now, Di Shitian possessed only eighty percent of his former power.

Despite this decline, the killing intent and rage within him reached their peak.

Ni Tianxie's explosion had buried ninety percent of the martial artists on "Life and Death Peak," and also the last elite of the "Heavenly Palace." Even if Di Shitian could defeat Ni Tianxie today, there was no way he could bring his three hundred followers back to life!

For the sake of a madman's insane idea, his dream of dominating the world was shattered! The depth of Di Shitian's hatred for Ni Tianxie was indescribable!

"Damn Ni Tianxie! Even if I grind you to dust a hundred times, it won't quell my hatred!"

Di Shitian roared furiously, white flames surging, his furious punch displaying a ferocious and domineering power—unintentional, yet already possessing "ultimate" strength! It was clear that Di Shitian's anger at this moment had reached a point where his spirit transcended his body.

"It seems the Heavenly King doesn't like the sacrifice I arranged. What a pity!"

Ni Tianxie's laughter was far from malicious. After orchestrating such a cruel and bloody explosion, he could still laugh so calmly and rationally, his eyes devoid of any emotion, instead seeming to conceal endless darkness. It was truly unbelievable what kind of dark and twisted soul lay beneath his handsome exterior.

Ni Tianxie's mind is like that of a child, devoid of any distinction between good and evil. His mind is solely focused on his own goals and the means necessary to achieve them; nothing else matters, and he doesn't consider the harm he might cause to others. This "simple" evil is the true "ultimate evil"!

The "Heavenly King" fist arrives.

"Boom!"

Ni Tianxie thrusts out his sword finger, meeting Di Shitian's domineering fist at close range. A deafening roar resounds, and scorching sandstorms surge once more, towering into the clouds like tornadoes, symbolizing the start of a fierce battle.

"Tsk tsk, the Ultimate Nine Suns is indeed extraordinary."

A composed expression, a slightly grating laugh tinged with admiration—compared to Di Shitian's furious punch, Ni Tianxie's attitude seems remarkably calm. He withdraws his finger and retreats, testing the power of the blazing sun's annihilation.

"Where do you think you're going!"

Without a second thought, Emperor Shitian's mind was solely focused on tearing Ni Tianxie to pieces. His powerful, swift punch, imbued with the flames of the void, struck again, the message being a relentless, relentless attack that wouldn't give this detestable enemy a moment's respite!

"No need to rush to your death. I guarantee you'll die by my sword today!"

Ni Tianxie chuckled, a knowing smile playing on his lips. His movements were as graceful as if he were walking on air, his body darting around like a swallow, once again dodging Emperor Shitian's deadly strike.

"You think you can wear down my energy with hit-and-run tactics? Utterly foolish!"

Emperor Shitian roared, his hand shifting, white flames erupting from his hand into a massive fire spear, radiating intense heat that swept across the sky, aimed directly at Ni Tianxie.

"Nothing special!"

Ni Tianxie's face was filled with contempt, a mocking smile playing on his lips, as if he had already anticipated the outcome of this battle. As he spoke, Ni Tianxie unleashed

another burst of sword energy, which exploded and condensed into the image of a ferocious dragon, clashing head-on with the musket. The shockwave shook the ground within a ten-zhang radius, causing it to tremble and ripple as if an earth ox had overturned. "It's time for me to make my move!" Ni Tianxie gestured with his fingers, and suddenly, patches of deep blue sword energy appeared in the space, swirling and dancing in the gale like falling petals. Everywhere in the light threads, sharp edges were visible, exuding an extremely dangerous aura. "Everything is extraordinary!" "Will those old tricks still work on me?" Di Shitian unleashed his power, causing his entire body to blaze with flames. Man and fire merged, charging straight into the center of the "Sword of Eternity" sword net, displaying an arrogant and domineering state in the space of death. "When strength is divided, weakness arises. Your five-tenths 'Ultimate' has absolutely no chance of breaking my full 'Ultimate'. That is the weakness of your move!" Despite his rage, Di Shitian's martial arts wisdom remained undiminished. He seized upon his opponent's overconfidence, determined to succeed even without risking his life, and finally found an opening in Ni Tianxie's defenses, delivering a powerful punch to his body. "Bang!" Ni Tianxie's body trembled. Although the "Heavenly Dao Sacred Armor" immediately activated its protective function, Di Shitian's "Ultimate Nine Yang" was the most destructive martial art in the world, even surpassing Jun Nitian's "God-Slaying Seal" before he comprehended the "Ultimate." The Supreme Yang Flame Force pierced through Ni Tianxie's protective aura. The intense heat and blazing sensation made him feel as if he were walking naked in a scorching desert sun, his very soul and marrow being baked dry. He couldn't help but spit out a large amount of blood. "Wow!" Since seizing all of Sheng Yukong's cultivation and achieving the unification of his soul and personality, this was the first time the "Peerless Evil God" had suffered such a severe blow. Emperor Shitian, undeterred by his folly, raised his hands, conjuring a ball of pure white, high-temperature fire, and then slammed it down towards Ni Tianxie's head with the force of a thunderbolt. "Take this 'Nine Yang Thunderbolt' from me, and then fall into the eighteenth level of hell!" Emperor Shitian roared deafeningly. The white flameball exploded on Ni Tianxie's head, the flames reaching thousands of degrees instantly engulfing his body, the powerful impact blasting him several feet deep into the ground. "Boom boom boom boom!..." Emperor Shitian stared at the deep crater he had created with his hand, and Ni Tianxie, trapped within, his life hanging in the balance. The killing intent emanating from him did not diminish in the slightest, for he knew that his previous attack was insufficient to kill this detestable enemy, not even a serious injury. "Damn it!" A thick, malevolent aura surged from the cave, followed by a figure that defied gravity, rising slowly from the depths of the cave entrance with an arrogant and sinister air. Its power was so immense that it seemed capable of swallowing the heavens and the earth. The figure rising from the ground, seemingly with silver hair that billowed without wind, had eyes that shot out terrifying crimson light. Its entire body emanated a power that was neither divine nor demonic, belonging to neither the Three Realms nor the Five Elements—a power close to chaos and approaching infinity, and it was still increasing in an unbelievable and frenzied manner! "Finally willing to show your true abilities?..." The figure rose to a height of about five zhang above the ground, then paused in mid-air, looking down at Di Shitian. Its pupils were as deep red as blood, and its previous madness had receded like the tide. A heavy, majestic aura, as if it were a sovereign, filled the space between it and Di Shitian. This aura far surpassed that of any emperor, overlord, or peerless master combined, as if it were the master of this world, surveying its own land. A deafening clap of thunder suddenly struck the sky, illuminating the two figures on the ground. The lightning seemed to have cleaved the heavens in two. "If this is what you want… you will have an incredibly swift death… Emperor Shi!…" Although Ni Tianxie's eyes were fixed on Emperor Shi, his gaze seemed to be fixed on a space-time completely outside of this one, his deep voice like a pronouncement of fate's end. Emperor Shi scoffed, a powerful aura, strong enough to influence space and time, emanating from his body.

"You boring bum who only talks nonsense, I've had enough of your rubbish!"

Ni Tianxie suddenly threw his head back and laughed loudly, the sound deafening.

"That's right! Enough talk, now it's time to fight!"

Chapter Three: The Return of Ten Thousand Evils

—Round Two.

"Ni Tianxie! Your 'Heavenly Dao Sacred Armor' is indeed remarkable, able to withstand one of my 'Nine Yang Thunderbolts' without dying! Let me see how many more of my moves your tortoise shell can withstand!"

Faced with Ni Tianxie's true strength, Di Shitian's blood boiled as a martial artist. He condensed his blood essence, raising his power to its peak, and pushed his palms forward. A blazing fireball bloomed like fireworks, shooting towards Ni Tianxie.

"Hmph!"

Ni Tianxie raised an eyebrow, flicked his finger, and instantly a sword light that could cleave space appeared, shattering the first wave of blazing fireballs that reached him into countless golden sparks that scattered in all directions, dazzling and eye-catching.

The "Peerless Evil God" was truly enraged, his sword fingers flashing out repeatedly, leaving a net of blue light in the air—a relentless and ruthless attack, a wild and cunning sword strike.

Emperor Shitian's expression changed slightly, and he immediately channeled his Nine Yang Fire Force to meet the attack. The blue sword light clashed fiercely with the white flames, the sword light managing to slip through the gaps, slicing across Emperor Shitian's body and leaving several wounds.

"What a magnificent 'Sword of Eternity'! Although I despise you as an enemy, I must admit that you are the strongest opponent I have encountered since the reign of King Yama!"

Faced with this peerless sword technique, Emperor Shitian finally couldn't help but express his admiration, offering a sincere compliment.

However, despite his praise, he held nothing back, flipping his palms, causing flames to erupt from the ground, forming a wall of fire that crashed towards the Heavenly Evil God with overwhelming heat.

"Sword Pierces the Void!"

Ni Tianxie condensed his body into a sword, becoming one with it, transforming into a massive sword aura that shot straight into the wall of fire. The ultimate sword aura struck Di Shitian's fiery energy, causing the heavens and earth to tremble violently, cracking the void as if space itself had been shattered by their intense clash.

Ni Tianxie's eyes were indifferent; he didn't even need to recover his energy. His fingers moved with the grace of plucking a zither, the primordial sword aura emitting a sharp, piercing whistle, weaving layers of sword nets. In an instant, the heavens and earth seemed to be filled with this blue sword aura.

Di Shitian snorted angrily, "Child's play!"

A ball of white fire spread endlessly from Di Shitian's center. Since both were experts who had cultivated to the "Heavenly Origin" realm, they possessed inexhaustible true energy, unleashing a constant stream of extraordinary techniques. Ni Tianxie

's crimson eyes, filled with contempt, flickered with clear killing intent. His attacks were like a carefully laid plan, his sword strikes like decisive moves, the chilling sword aura enveloping an area of a hundred feet, severing all signs of life.

Di Shitian, too, went all out, no longer holding back. His palms surged, unleashing endless waves of fire, like raging tides, like rushing clouds and swift winds, as boundless as a vast ocean.

As the battle intensified, their true energy correspondingly increased, from the "ultimate" to the first strike... the second strike... already approaching the third strike. The

Nine Yang Flame and the Eternal Sword, two unparalleled techniques from ancient times, were inherently incompatible like water and fire, clashing and colliding, attempting to destroy and devour each other. The immense explosive force generated between them swept and raged in all directions, without end!

"Di Shitian, let's see if you can withstand this move from me!"

In the midst of the battle, Ni Tianxie roared, his body leaping up like a roc soaring into the sky. At the highest point, he unleashed a simultaneous attack with both hands, the peerless sword light reappearing, the second strongest move of the "Eternal Sword"—Ten Directions Annihilation! The domineering and powerful sword energy collapsed like Mount Tai, as if everything in the world would be buried and pulverized.

"Come on! I'm not afraid of you!"

Faced with this earth-shattering move, Di Shitian unleashed his trump card, his peak power bursting forth like a volcanic eruption! His clothes crumbled and melted, forming a domineering, murderous golden fire lion behind him!

Under the overwhelming pressure of Ni Tianxie's powerful attack, Di Shitian finally broke through his own limits once again, evolving the white flames of "Nine Yang Ultimate" into the king of flames—a golden flame!

The golden lion took shape, its golden light stretching for miles, changing the color of the clouds for hundreds of miles. Wherever the golden light reached, it became a death zone, leaving no grass behind and extinguishing all life!

"Howl—!!"

The golden fire lion and the blue sword energy clashed fiercely, exchanging no less than ten thousand blows in the blink of an eye, their clanging sounds shaking the heavens and the universe! Ni

Tianxie's Worldly Sword Qi was like a never-ending, enormous storm, constantly increasing with each clash of limits, so wild that it made people wonder if there was any limit?

Indra was equally formidable, merging man and lion into one, golden light bursting forth, transforming his entire body into a golden world, his aura unprecedentedly fierce and powerful!

A surge of killing intent filled the air! The world resounded with the sounds of battle, the clash of the two strongest techniques before breaking through the "Alaya Consciousness," each impact unleashing a towering pillar of light that lingered for a long time—a spectacle both a wonder of the world and a scene of impending doom.

The sky ripped apart, the void shattered, and massive air currents scattered, further ravaging the already turbulent earth, cracking and shattering the ground into dust.

The battle between the two celestial beings had transformed this land, once known as the "Peak of Life and Death," into a living hell!

After countless exchanges, the two pairs of fleshy palms finally found their destined enemy, standing tightly together.

—Whoosh!

The two palms touched, but instead of the expected earth-shattering explosion, they seemed to connect perfectly. Both Di Shitian and Ni Tianxie had their eyes slightly closed, their faces expressionless, except for large beads of sweat streaming down their foreheads and the skin beneath their eyes undulating like waves, making them look extremely eerie!

"Hah!"

Di Shitian suddenly shouted, like a pebble thrown into a calm lake, causing a third shift in the battle. Ni Tianxie's body trembled, his face turning a purplish-gold color, and suddenly he vomited blood like a fountain, his knees buckling and his body collapsing to the ground.

In contrast, Di Shitian's body remained as steadfast as a mountain. So, had the "Great Sun Heavenly King" gained the upper hand in this round?

Not necessarily. In fact, Di Shitian's injuries weren't much better than Ni Tianxie's. It was only when the battle had escalated to the point of a head-on clash that Di Shitian's breakthrough from "Ultimate White Flame" to "Ultimate Golden Flame" was slightly more destructive than Ni Tianxie's "Ten Directions Annihilation," making it a Pyrrhic victory.

Di Shitian coldly stared at Ni Tianxie, his voice filled with killing intent and anger as he said, "To have fought me to this point, you've done quite well, but you've almost reached your limit... Do you have any last words to say?"

"Last words... Hahahaha!..." Ni Tianxie suddenly burst into wild laughter, "I return those words to you verbatim!"

Di Shitian glared at Ni Tianxie, his voice booming like thunder.

"I have never encountered an enemy more detestable than you. You have left me with no reason not to execute you immediately!"

"Hmph! To be honest, I did underestimate you. You are worthy to witness my ultimate killing move—if that old rabbit Jun Nitian hadn't died, this move was originally intended for him."

"Ultimate killing move?"

Di Shitian sensed a completely different aura from Ni Tianxie, even more oppressive than before! He couldn't help but feel a surge of curiosity about the ultimate killing move Ni Tianxie spoke of.

Ni Tianxie staggered to his feet, his silver hair cascading down to obscure his face. A faint blue mist emanated from his pores, emanating from him without any apparent killing intent. Yet, it was precisely the warning signal of danger that flashed through Di Shitian's mind, stronger than at any moment since the start of the war!

—This kid, indeed, cannot be underestimated for even a moment!

A feeling that was hard to describe as either joy or anger welled up in Di Shitian's heart. Lion-shaped golden flames once more enveloped his body, and waves of heat swept in all directions, preparing to meet the final killing move spoken of by Ni Tianxie.

"Chirp—! "

Ni Tianxie, his tongue like thunder and his body as swift as lightning, attacked again, transforming into a streak of light as he lunged at Di Shitian. Surprisingly, this time, Ni Tianxie gave Di Shitian a familiar yet repulsive feeling.

"What tricks are you playing!"

Di Shitian frowned, his body and mind becoming one. His palm, piercing through the air, moved with lightning speed, like a fierce, relentless battle. Ni Tianxie

shifted his body, a life force emerging from the depths, like a graceful dance inspired by a sudden inspiration, a stroke of genius from beyond the heavens. This fighting style was completely different from his "Peerless Evil God" days, resembling someone who should have already "died"...—

who did he resemble?

"Jun Tianxie? Weren't you already absorbed and merged?"

Di Shitian's astonishment was not without reason. Before his unauthorized campaign, Grand Tutor Wen, with his exceptional intelligence gathering and analysis skills, clarified how an unknown youth had become the "Peerless Evil God" among the "Four Great Generals." Although obtained indirectly, his account was remarkably close to the truth. Had the person involved seen this report, he would surely have been even more amazed by Grand Tutor Wen's abilities!

Unfortunately, before the drafter could personally deliver the report to his master, Grand Tutor Wen had already perished on the battlefield. Later, Emperor Shitian emerged victorious and was deeply moved by the report's contents. This loyal subordinate and friend had indeed left him a precious legacy sufficient to defeat his mortal enemy.

Knowing that Ni Tianxie's achievements stemmed from absorbing the spiritual power of the former "Six Paths Holy Emperor" Sheng Yukong, and that his "predecessors," Jun Tianxie and Yu Tianxie, were merely fabricated "personality puppets," Emperor Shitian was surprised that Jun Tianxie's fighting consciousness would reappear in the battlefield confrontation.

But despite the unexpected turn of events, a seasoned and invincible powerhouse like Di Shitian was not intimidated by a mere "resurrection of the dead" trick. Moreover, Jun Tianxie was far inferior to him, and from any perspective, Di Shitian had no reason to fear him.

"Since you're such a persistent ghost, I'll let you die again!"

Di Shitian clasped his hands together, unleashing the "Nine Yang Blazing Blade," a golden flame blade that would incinerate anyone struck head-on, leaving nothing but ashes! However, seeing no way to avoid it, Jun Tianxie suddenly changed his expression, his aura transforming completely.

"Damn it! What a piece of junk torch! I'll smash it to pieces with one blow!"

He spoke arrogantly, his eyes flashing with ferocity, like a tiger suddenly unleashing its attack. His palms, accompanied by a surge of energy, slammed out, colliding head-on with the golden flame blade, exploding into countless sparks.

"Hmm!"

Di Shitian's resolute expression wavered slightly, a rare occurrence. He sensed a change in his opponent's "combat awareness" once more. This frenzied and brutal fighting style, if he wasn't mistaken, was the fighting style of "Demon Star" Yu Tianxie, the other personality of "Jun Tianxie."

However, although the personality was "Demon Star," the power was solidly at the level of a "Peerless Evil God"! Otherwise, neither "Jun Tianxie" nor "Yu Tianxie" could have dodged his two consecutive Fiery Sun Blades.

"Could it be..."

Holding onto this question, Di Shitian attacked again, confident that under the invincible Golden Nine Yang Force, no matter how many "Tianxie" attacked, they would only be reduced to ashes. However, just as he made his move, the enemy's "combat sense" shifted again, conveying an aura that Di Shitian was all too familiar with—a heavy and overwhelming coercion that Di Shitian had only ever felt from one person…

"It's him?! How is this possible!"

"What is the mere Nine Yang Blazing Blade? Witness my 'God-Slaying Seal'!"

The silver-haired youth laughed loudly, his five fingers coming together as he unleashed a palm strike. Instantly, the surrounding temperature plummeted, as if he were in a frozen wasteland, and the scene before him vanished, as if he were trapped in a silent, lightless dark world!

"Bang!"

The dark world suddenly shattered and disintegrated, transforming into the palm strike of the person before him. Although the features were different, the incomparably calm and majestic aura made Di Shitian almost suspect that his greatest nemesis—"Yama Emperor" Jun Nitian—had truly returned from hell, unleashing his strongest technique to confront him head-on!

"Boom!"

Without time to think, Di Shitian unleashed both palms, directly clashing with the long-absent strongest technique of the "Mingyue Sect." The two earth-shattering ultimate forces collided, the heavy pressure impacting his internal organs. Di Shitian felt a sweet taste in his throat, almost spitting out blood.

"It's not over yet!"

Di Shitian suddenly felt a terrifying sensation of his meridians being compressed, making it hard to breathe. At this moment, Ni Tianxie seemed not to need to catch his breath, and with his other empty left fist, he unleashed another ultimate technique created by his father—the Overlord Fist "Booming Heaven"! But when the fist, as powerful as the collapse of the sky, struck his shoulder, and he met the opponent's cold, ruthless, and supreme eyes, Di Shitian finally realized the trick his opponent was playing.

"The personality simulation is so realistic... Is this the ultimate killing move you mentioned?..."

Its power is probably no less than the "Heaven-Shattering" fist force personally unleashed by Jun Nitian. Even with Di Shitian's current protective power, he couldn't withstand it. His entire lower body was blasted half a foot deep into the ground, and blood spilled from the corner of his mouth. Knowing that he must not let his opponent press his advantage at this moment, Di Shitian let out a fierce roar, his whole body shining with golden light. He didn't hesitate to expend a lot of true energy and unleashed the Blazing Sun Blade again in his disadvantageous situation, its domineering aura flying to slash at Nitianxie's neck!

Suddenly, a serene and peaceful smile appeared on Nitianxie's lips. He clasped his hands together, and a pure and effortless Buddhist aura emanated from him, seemingly merging with heaven and earth. He was as sacred and boundless as a Bodhisattva manifesting. At the same time, Di Shitian's raging flame blade arrived. With a "poof!", Nitianxie's body flew five zhang away like a kite with a broken string, but he was not injured at all.

—The Lord of Ups and Downs' "Great Brahma Heart Method"! Even a personality not belonging to the Jun family bloodline can be simulated, and so realistically?

Ni Tianxie, like a leaf in the wind, drifted five zhang away and landed, his expression and aura reverting to his original "Peerless Evil God." His eyes regained their crystal-clear coldness and ruthlessness. He looked up and smiled faintly, "It seems you already know the secret of my move 'Return of All Evils'..."

Di Shitian's handsome, cold face showed no joy, anger, sorrow, or happiness. He snorted and said, "I didn't expect you to have already comprehended the eighth consciousness—'Alaya Consciousness'—beyond 'Manas Consciousness'! Although it's only the Lesser Vehicle realm, it has reached the realm of 'knowing all dharmas.' Any martial arts you've seen can be imitated exactly. Plus, you've had experience with personality splitting, so not only martial arts, but even personality can be perfectly understood. This is the secret of your 'Return of All Evils'..."

Ni Tianxie clapped his hands and laughed, "As expected of my destined nemesis, martial arts... " "Your wisdom is indeed no less than mine. Having only seen it once, you can discern seventy percent of the move's essence."

Emperor Shitian sneered, "Pretending to be calm cannot conceal your meager skill. Even if you could perfectly recreate the ultimate techniques of a group of masters, you still wouldn't be able to defeat me. This absurd martial art, no different from summoning a deity, is the best proof of your utter exhaustion."

Ni Tianxie laughed, "No need to use ignorance to mask your panic. You and I both know that the power of 'Ten Thousand Evils Return to the Origin' is far more than this. That was just a small demonstration. The ultimate technique used to bury 'Great Sun Heavenly King' is now about to reveal its true power..."

In the midst of his laughter, Ni Tianxie's body suddenly multiplied, creating a seemingly real yet illusory form beside him. This additional "Heavenly Evil" emanated the aura of "Jun Tianxie."

Two became three, and the third Heavenly Evil emanated the aura of "Yu Tianxie"...

Three became four, and the fourth Heavenly Evil emanated the aura of "Jun Ni Tianxie"...

Four became five, and the fifth Heavenly Evil emanated the aura of "Sword Emperor and Blade Sovereign" Ding Shenzhao…

Five became six, and the sixth Heavenly Evil emanated the aura of "Lord of Ups and Downs"…

Six became seven, and the seventh Heavenly Evil emanated the aura of "Heavenly Sword and Absolute Blade" Ding Chenyi…

Seven became eight, and the eighth Heavenly Evil emanated the aura of "Great Sun Heavenly King" Di Shitian himself! …

In an instant, Di Shitian seemed to be facing eight peerless masters besides himself, all attacking him simultaneously! The atmosphere instantly became more dangerous than ever before!

Eight "masters," eight "Heavenly Evils," simultaneously spoke to Di Shitian, laughing: "Next year on this day, it will be the anniversary of your death, Di Shitian…"

Chapter Four: The Passing of the Heavenly King

. It is time. Like every mortal reaching the end of their life, this king should also reflect on my life.

From the moment of my birth, I was endowed with the destiny of standing above all living beings. My master was the previous Palace Master of the "Heavenly Palace," the number one expert of the Holy Sect, known as the "Old Emperor," and I was his only disciple.

Back then, my master, the "Sun Emperor," had already cultivated his "Heavenly Flame of Light" to the eighth level, a feat unmatched in the world. My talent surpassed his; at the same age as him, I had already broken through to the seventh level. Even my master, at my age, was only at the initial stage of the sixth level.

"If one day someone can surpass me, it will surely be my good disciple, Emperor Shi." "

At the summit of Mount Tai, my master once said these words to me with a proud yet somewhat melancholic tone. But as if to prove his argument wrong, Heaven arranged for another peerless master, the 'Emperor of Hell' Jun Nitian, to bury this old man!

Jun Nitian's master, the previous leader of the 'Mingyue Sect,' was burned in his meridians by the 'Heavenly Bright Fire' during the competition with my master for the title of the world's number one master. His power was reduced to eighty percent of its original strength, which directly led to his death at the hands of his own disciple.

After personally killing his master and seizing the throne, Jun Nitian actually shifted his target to the 'Sun Emperor.' Less than half a year after becoming the leader of the 'Mingyue Sect,' he challenged my master!

At the time, everyone thought Jun Nitian must have gone mad, daring to challenge the world's number one master beyond his level. Even I tried to stop my master from fighting, suggesting that I fight in his place to ensure a battle between equals. But my master insisted on fighting personally, completely disregarding everyone's objections."

"Since that junior has the courage to challenge death, I should personally respond to him as a sign of respect for his boldness."

Before this battle began, no one believed my master, the "Sun Emperor," would lose.

Not a single person, except for one:

Jun Nitian himself.

After three days and three nights of fierce fighting, and after the ten thousandth move, Jun Nitian beheaded the "Sun Emperor" with his "Peerless Demon Blade," and then hung his head before the gates of the "Netherworld Mountain Gate" as a public display of power—undoubtedly the greatest insult to the entire "Heavenly Palace"!

But I did not avenge my master.

Because at that time, I knew very well that I was no match for Jun Nitian. My master's strength was superior to mine. If even a master like my master could die at Jun Nitian's hands, then it was certain that I was no match for him now. If I were to directly challenge Jun Nitian, that would be suicide, not revenge.

Although... Thus, the shame of defeat clung to me like a leech, gnawing and eroding my heart.

This was the first defeat of my life, a defeat declared even before the battle began, and the one who brought me this ultimate defeat was none other than "Yan Huang" Jun Nitian!

Later, I took over the position of Palace Master of the "Heavenly Palace," my power and influence unparalleled, surpassing even my master "Sun Emperor's" reign. I fought countless battles, large and small, without a single defeat. It was destined that I would be one of the strongest who could dominate everything.

In my life, I have had countless subordinates and enemies, but in the end, only one person deserves to be called a "brother"—"Right Prime Minister" Grand Tutor Wen; and two people deserve to be called my nemesis—"Yan Huang." Jun Nitian, and his son, the "Peerless Evil God" Nitianxie.

Jun Nitian, also known as Jun Yanhuang, this name seems to be my nemesis. Throughout his life, his power and wisdom surpassed mine, overshadowing all my achievements. Although I harbored a deep-seated animosity towards him, I also felt an inexplicable respect. He was the enemy I respected most in my life. If I were to die at his hands, I would have no complaints. But fate seemed to be toying with me, Di Shi. In the end, neither Jun Nitian nor I died at each other's hands.

From the battle with Jun Nitian, I comprehended the "Ultimate Nine Yang," which surpassed even the "Heavenly Bright Fire," truly entering the realm of a peerless master. My power reached an unprecedented peak. Even if Jun Nitian were still alive, I would still be a formidable opponent. I had the confidence to win.

But today, that dark hand in the dark, that damned thing people call "fate," is determined to kill me at the hands of the person I hate most… Jun Nitian's son—Nitianxie! A spoiled brat whom I've never taken seriously… My power has always been far superior to his… Why is he stronger than me now? Why is my life in his hands? Is fate playing tricks on me… My most hated enemy, the one who took the life of my only friend, Grand Tutor Wen, is now going to take mine too…

Damn it… Although I don't want to admit it, the feeling of death clearly tells me the outcome of this battle: I will experience my second defeat in life, and my only… death.

…Is this fate?

To hell with fate!

October 16th, Xuanwu Calendar 345, Life and Death Peak.

The battle between the "Peerless Evil God" and the "Great Sun Heavenly King," Indra and the Rebellious Evil, has reached its final stage.

The Rebellious Evil's technique is unprecedented; he can split his mind into eight parts, combining it with the ability to create clones, transforming the formless into the real, and the illusory into the tangible, creating a scene where one person appears as eight separate entities. The power is eight times greater than the original – this is the formidable power of "Return of All Evils to the Source"!

Eight evil spirits rush towards Indra, each with a different aura and posture. Some are as swift as meteors and lightning, some as graceful as floating clouds, and some as fierce as a thunderbolt, displaying endless variations and a thousand forms in an instant.

The force of each attack also varies: some are purely yang and fierce, some are extremely yin and gentle, and some are a harmonious blend of yin and yang, combining strength and gentleness in wondrous ways… Even the techniques they use are vastly different: fists, palms, swords, and blades… all kinds of true energy of different shapes and natures simultaneously attack Indra. The heavens seemed to be pressing in.

Emperor Shitian felt the sky filled with the figures of Ni Tianxie. Eight different forces interacted and intertwined, instantly generating an inconceivable and immense power. It was like a small boat struggling to survive in a raging storm, on the verge of being torn to shreds.

Normally, experts like Emperor Shitian and Ni Tianxie, unparalleled and unique in the world, would never be able to find several other experts of the same level to attack them.

However, Ni Tianxie's "Return of Ten Thousand Evils" turned the impossible into possible.

Emperor Shitian knew that facing this overwhelming attack, any further restraint would mean certain death. With a roar, he unleashed twelve percent of his Nine Yang True Fire, forming nine small golden sun-like fireballs around his body! Then, he took a deep breath, absorbing the nine suns into his body, causing his body to double in size! The surrounding air and scenery even began to distort unnaturally!

The final killing move of "Nine Yang Ultimate" - Nine Yang Return to One! It forces the fire of nine yangs into nine major acupoints in the body at the same time, thereby forcing out an astonishing explosive force. However, this ultimate killing move directly burns life force into killing power, which can be said to be a move of mutual destruction. In order to fight against the evil "All Evils Return to the Origin", he had no other choice.

Instantly, Di Shitian's "Nine Yangs Return to One" unleashed four times—no, five times—more explosive killing power! The entire space seemed to transform into a golden, raging sea of fire, with intense heat emanating from it, violently vibrating within a hundred-foot radius, turning into a rain of fire that swept towards the Heavenly Evil.

"Good! Di Shitian, this is the final showdown! I will forever remember having such an enemy as you!"

The eight "Heavenly Evils" shouted simultaneously, their eight bodies flashing forward like eight supreme masters of perfect harmony, unleashing devastating attacks with the thunderous force of a cosmic thunderbolt, directly targeting the center of the vortex—Di Shitian!

"Boom!" The heavens and earth trembled.

Every beginning has an end. The battle between the "Peerless Evil God" and the "Great Sun Heavenly King," this battle between two heavens, finally came to a conclusion.

Who won? Who lost? Who lived? Who died?

The flames and dust gradually dissipated, leaving only one person standing in the center. Who was he? ...

The person standing was—Di Shitian?

"Whoosh!"

Suddenly, Di Shitian's muscles ripped open, blood gushing out, his face contorted with rage. Then, two massive, crisscrossing wounds split open on his upper body, blood gushing like a fountain. His body was almost severed into four pieces, a truly terrifying sight.

Behind him, swaying precariously, stood a figure as proud as a shrine—the true victor of this battle—the "Peerless Evil God," Ni Tianxie! The

"Peerless Evil God" triumphed! The "Great Sun Heavenly King" was defeated! In the end, Di Shitian could not overcome his predetermined "fate"! He could not defeat the so-called "divine will"!

Although Ni Tianxie's face was also extremely pale, with blood trickling from the corner of his lips, his evil eyes shone brightly, like his natal star in the sky at that moment.

"Any last words?..."

Di Shitian closed his eyes, facing his impending death without a trace of fear, maintaining the dignity of a king until his last breath.

"Enough with the nonsense! Let's do it!"

"Alright."

Ni Tianxie didn't speak again, gently striking out with his palm. It was a gesture of consideration, not wanting this respectable enemy to suffer any more pain. It shattered his heart and veins, causing the "Heavenly King" Di Shitian, who had dominated the demonic path for nearly sixty years, to breathe his last.

The victor, who had become the undisputed number one expert in the world, the "Peerless Evil God" Ni Tianxie, simply stared expressionlessly at Di Shitian's corpse. He showed no trace of joy in victory, just like a star in the sky looking down on the changes in the world, quietly and without any impurities, observing everything below.

Ni Tianxie's profile was like a beauty meticulously sculpted by an artist, and his aura was like a divine weapon crafted by a master craftsman, exuding a strong presence. However, that presence was also surprisingly transparent and changeable, as if it could disappear at any moment, like the bright moon reflected in water, or like an ice statue veiled by a thin veil.

After an unknown amount of time, the still water surface rippled again. Suddenly, Ni Tianxie clutched his head, staggering slightly. A faint, eerie aura emanated from him, quickly spreading like wildfire to a suffocating degree. Strangely, Ni Tianxie seemed to unconsciously control this violent, turbulent evil energy, as if another person within him was vying for control of his body.

"How is this possible… You should have been absorbed by me long ago, disappeared… Why can you still come out?…"

Large beads of sweat appeared on Ni Tianxie's forehead, his body trembling more violently. Suddenly, he let out a long howl and vanished at an incredible speed, leaving behind only destruction and deathly silence.

After an unknown amount of time, amidst the ruins, a disheveled figure staggered to his feet from the rubble and bloodstains.

He was missing an arm and an eye, his entire body seemingly just emerged from a pool of blood, barely clinging to life—"Cang Xie" Bai Mo

was still alive? He was still alive!

The silent space was thick with the stench of blood. Countless pieces of flesh and corpses lay scattered around. The saying goes, "One general's success is built on the bones of ten thousand," and the throne of a king is always a glory built upon countless sacrifices.

Gazing in the direction where Ni Tian Xie had vanished, Bai Mo, with trembling lips, forced out his last words.

"So…that's how it is…"

"I…know…Ni Tian Xie's…weakness…"

With a "thud," Bai Mo collapsed onto the blood-red earth, becoming one of the countless wronged souls on this day's battlefield of carnage.

A sudden gust of wind stirred the blood mist and dust on the battlefield, instantly burying Bai Mo's body…

Day was ending, and night fell.

A cup of yellow earth, a lonely grave, a wisp of fragrant soul.

A lone sword, a solitary figure, a desolate heart, nowhere to find solace.

This is the tombstone that "Sword Emperor and Blade Sovereign" Ding Shenzhao personally crafted for "Guanyin Celestial Maiden" Fan Xindi.

Ding Shenzhao stood before the tombstone, seemingly becoming part of the surrounding environment, motionless despite the passage of time. Occasionally, his fingers would touch the words he had personally carved on the tombstone:

"Tomb of the Heroine Fan Xindi .

" The tombstone was undecorated, for Ding Shenzhao believed that all worldly appearances did not apply to Fan Xindi, who possessed a fairy-like appearance and heart, whether in life or death. He simply knew this.

Although he and Fan Xindi were not close, in the moment of her death, he knew he was the one left in this world who understood her best.

Beauty is fleeting.

She sacrificed her prime and her most precious life to achieve her goal—the birth of the "Sword Emperor and Blade Sovereign."

Should he disappoint her?

Knowing full well that the "he" who killed Fan Xindi and Xiao Lian had become a heartless and ruthless "monster," why couldn't he completely forget "him"?

Why did he still hold onto a sliver of hope for "him"?

"Father, can you tell me what I should do?"

Too much confusion and distress made Ding Shenzhao unable to help but pour out his troubles to the dead.

"Father, if you were still alive, how wonderful that would be?"

"Damn it! So the only nemesis of the so-called 'Peerless Evil God' is actually a nagging, father-obsessed guy! It seems I really came to the wrong place." An

unfounded voice echoed in the void. Ding Shenzhao looked up in astonishment and saw a figure, seemingly real yet illusory, slowly taking shape in the air. And its face was very familiar...

"White Demon?!"

Chapter 5 The Weakness of the Evil God

The seemingly real yet illusory figure before him made Ding Shenzhao wonder if he was hallucinating. But he was, after all, one of the world's top experts, and his cultivation had already broken through to the "Manas Consciousness" realm. He quickly saw through the mystery.

"This is...soul separation?!"

A breakthrough in understanding just before death?

...How could you, who hadn't even grasped the seventh consciousness, possess such cultivation? Speaking of which...

a smile appeared on the White Demon's seemingly transparent and illusory face.

"It seems you're not entirely ignorant after all!"

Ding Shenzhao frowned. "Whether in life or death, your smile is still just as repulsive!"

The White Demon gave a self-deprecating smile: "It's innate, deeply ingrained, and can't be changed."

Hearing a "dead man" joke about you is not a common occurrence for anyone, but unfortunately, Ding Shenzhao had no intention of experiencing this novelty.

"The things that will haunt you, even on your deathbed, can't be as simple as coming to me to hear your jokes, right?"

Bai Mo blinked a few times, shook his head, and smiled bitterly. "Hmph, what an unlovable brat, both you and Ni Tianxie are the same."

Hearing the name "Peerless Evil God," Ding Shenzhao seemed to regain his composure completely, and said in a deep voice, "I see… So, it seems that Tianxie's side won the battle at 'Life and Death Peak'?… Did even Di Shitian perish at Tianxie's hands? Otherwise, there's no reason he couldn't protect you…"

Bai Mo shook his head, "The situation is more serious than you imagine… Ni Tianxie, I can only say he's truly depraved…"

He then recounted the events that occurred at "Life and Death Peak" to Ding Shenzhao in detail.

After listening, Ding Shenzhao was utterly shocked and heartbroken.

"Tianxie... he actually did such a cruel thing?"

Bai Mo said gravely, "I now suspect that when Ni Tianxie absorbed the soul of the 'Six Paths Holy Emperor' to become the 'Peerless Evil God,' the Holy Emperor didn't truly disappear completely. Instead, he hid himself and influenced Ni Tianxie's consciousness, making Ni Tianxie a 'world-destroying weapon' for him! That's his true purpose..."

In his final moments, witnessing his enemy Di Shitian die before his eyes, he unexpectedly reached the "Ultimate Nirvana" state of "Great Enlightenment, Great Perfection." Originally, his cultivation of "Unmoved Evil Heart" and Jun Tianxie's "Evil Path Nirvana" were essentially the same path, both aiming to achieve enlightenment and the realm of the celestial being. The distinction between good and evil was merely a difference in name, like the Yin and Yang of Tai Chi, ultimately resulting in a perfect circle.

Bai Mo had been deliberately stripped of his seven emotions and six desires by Grand Tutor Wen in his youth, but his hatred for Di Shitian remained undiminished. Once the Dharma is completely eliminated, and this final psychological barrier is also cleared, one can actually reach the realm of "ultimate Nirvana" earlier than others, becoming the third person after Jun Nitian and Ding Chenyi to achieve this.

However, the so-called ultimate realm of "astral projection" is often only comprehended and broken through at the very last moment before death, which is rather tragic.

After listening, Ding Shenzhao pondered and said, "The Holy Emperor was not absorbed by Tianxie, but instead secretly influenced Tianxie's behavior and consciousness... This inference is very reasonable and explains why Tianxie committed such heinous crimes. But what does all this have to do with your presence here?"

Bai Mo smiled bitterly and said, "Of course, it's because the celestial signs show that you are the only one who can restrain the 'Peerless Evil God'."

Ding Shenzhao shook his head and said, "If it is really as you say, and Tianxie has broken through to the realm of 'Alaya Consciousness,' then even if my father and Jun Yanhuang were reborn, they might not be his match, let alone me." "

Cultivation level isn't the only factor determining victory or defeat. In terms of skill, Di Shitian was always slightly superior to Ni Tianxie, but he still suffered a crushing defeat in the end. This shows that the theory of celestial incompatibility isn't entirely unfounded. Besides, looking at the experts on the field right now, only you truly have the strength to rival the 'Peerless Evil God.'"

"That's impossible. I'm no match for him at all. Whether it's intelligence or strength, I'm far inferior to

Tianxie." Bai Mo sneered, "So you're planning to surrender before even fighting? Is this something a descendant of 'Heavenly Sword and Absolute Blade' Ding Chenyi should do?"

Seeing that Ding Shenzhao remained silent, Bai Mo continued with even sharper sarcasm, "Even if you can ignore your own identity, there's still the expectation and sacrifice of the Lord of Floating and Sinking and Guanyin Heavenly Maiden for you. She's your woman! Can you even disregard her?"

Ding Shenzhao was shocked upon hearing this, as if these words had struck a nerve.

"That's none of your business!" Facing the raging fury of the "Sword Emperor and Blade King, "

Bai Mo seemed completely unfazed—of course, a dead man has nothing to fear.

"Getting angry, aren't you... Unable to protect your own woman, yet you want to vent your anger on a dead man? If Senior Ding knew in the afterlife, he would surely be gratified to have such a good descendant..."

"Have you said enough?!"

"If you don't like what I'm saying, I can stop right now... Damn it! I must be an idiot to place my last hope on you, this worthless bastard! And the Lord of Floating and Sinking, Guanyin, they're all blind! This restless, vengeful spirit of mine should disappear immediately!"

Bai Mo roared back at Ding Shenzhao with an even more agitated tone, but this unexpectedly calmed the latter down. After a moment of silence, he spoke again: "Judging from your tone... you actually have a way to deal with Tianxie?"

Bai Mo coldly looked at Ding Shenzhao, and after a long while, a smile crept into his eyes: "Damn it, you finally understand human language?" Ding

Shenzhao seemed to have completely calmed down, and said, "Judging from your confidence, what secret do you possess?"

Bai Mo looked at Ding Shenzhao with a strange gaze, and after a long while, said, "Jun Tianxie... he... might not be dead yet."

Bai Mo's words exploded like a silent bomb between the two of them. Ding Shenzhao's expression was as if he had swallowed seven or eight raw eggs but they were stuck in his throat. After a long while, he said, "You... what you're saying now... is it true?"

Surprise, surprise, astonishment—several complex emotions were simultaneously presented in his tone, like a mixed stew.

Bai Mo shook his head and said, "I'm not entirely sure either... but when I betrayed Di Shitian and was about to be executed by him, it was indeed Ni Tianxie who saved me from the brink of death... and at that time, I did feel a sense of déjà vu..." "

What feeling?" "

Bai Mo looked at Ding Shenzhao and slowly said in an unusual tone, 'Unmoved by evil thoughts...'

Ding Shenzhao was shocked upon hearing this, as if he had been struck heavily in the chest, and blurted out, 'Could it be?!...'

Bai Mo nodded and said, 'That's right, it's 'Evil Path Nirvana,' where the lamp remains even after death, never extinguished. Until today, I finally understand Jun Nitian's intention in having Jun Tianxie cultivate 'Unmoved by Evil Thoughts.' What a profound and great fatherly love that is!'

'What does that mean?' '

That's a secret that only those who have cultivated 'Evil Path Nirvana' can understand. I think Jun Nitian must have known long ago that there was a more powerful and evil soul within his son. In order to prevent his 'son' from being devoured by that evil power, Jun Nitian left behind a 'backup plan,' a last bargaining chip for his chosen 'successor' to turn the tide, a chip that would give the created 'puppet' a chance to become a real person.' '

The chip you're talking about is 'Unmoved by Evil Thoughts'?' '

That's right.'" “

I still only half understand what you’re saying. Could you explain it more clearly?”

“I would like to, but unfortunately, there’s no time.” Bai Mo smiled bitterly. “My being here is already a miracle bestowed by heaven. Perhaps you really are destined to be the nemesis of the ‘Peerless Evil God,’ and fate has arranged for us to meet this time, allowing the seed of hope to be passed on.”

“You really believe… there is such hope?”

“I can only believe that there are no coincidences, only inevitabilities. This is what… Emperor Shitian once said, and your father… Senior Ding once told me, ‘Those who sow the seeds will reap the fruits!’ He also believed that you could definitely do it.”

Ding Shenzhao exclaimed in surprise, “You… what did you just say?! Judging from your tone, have you met my father?”

Bai Mo’s demeanor suddenly changed, becoming one that Ding Shenzhao was extremely familiar with, yet dared not believe.

"Child, don't be discouraged, you did very well..."

Not only the demeanor, but even the voice transformed into an accent that Ding Shenzhao was extremely familiar with. The voice was almost unbelievable to Ding Shenzhao, yet it was unmistakably genuine.

"Child, you've worked so hard..."

Tears welled up in Ding Shenzhao's eyes. How long had he longed to hear that familiar voice again?

—Heavens, if this is a dream, please don't let me wake up too soon!

"Father...is it really you?...How is this possible..."

"White Demon" spoke in Ding Chenyi's voice: "I want to thank Heaven...for this special blessing. In the peak battle with Jun Nitian, I unexpectedly comprehended the mysteries of 'Alaya Consciousness,' my spiritual power leaped to an indescribable realm, allowing my spirit to transcend my physical body...Although this remaining power was quite limited, Jun Nitian used it all up immediately after the battle for his son, but I was fortunate enough to retain it until today..."

"I don't understand...Father, you..."

“This is difficult to explain to you,” “White Demon” shook his head, smiling kindly, “In short, although Jun Nitian and I have physically disintegrated, our spiritual power remains. However, Jun Nitian was forced to use up his remaining spiritual power prematurely in order to prolong his 'son's' life, and in the end, he had nothing left. Unfortunately, my remaining spiritual power is even less than Jun Nitian's, and I am powerless even if I want to help you. Until 'Life and Death Peak' was destroyed, White Demon comprehended 'Alaya Consciousness' at the moment of his death, and his spiritual power reached the same level as mine. Although his physical body was already broken and broken at that time, he unexpectedly had an opportunity to turn the tide. This opportunity was to cooperate with me, and with our last strength, we hope to help you find a way to defeat the 'Peerless Evil God'.”

Ding Shenzhao could no longer hold back at this moment, and tears welled up in his eyes.

"Father...you did all this for me..."

"Silly child, what father wouldn't help his own child?"

"Father..."

"Child, time is running out. My and Bai Mo's spiritual power is about to be exhausted..." Bai Mo—Ding Chenyi's body began to blur, as if assimilating with the surrounding space.

"Finally, I just want to tell you that having a son like you is the most joyful and proud thing in my life..."

"Father! Wait, I still have so many things I want to ask you...so many things I want to say to you!..." "

Child, take care...Father believes you can definitely defeat the 'Peerless Evil God'..."

When the last bit of spiritual power was used up, Bai Mo could no longer maintain his form, like an ice statue gradually melting under the morning sun, dissolving and vaporizing bit by bit.

"Father...Brother Bai..."

A calm but firm tone revealed a change in the person's mindset. At this moment, the last of the "Four Great Generals"—the "Sword Emperor and Blade King"—was finally truly born!

"I will no longer evade my mission... If that's what you want... Tianxie..."

A sudden realization solidified his resolve. The decision he made at this moment wasn't to save the world, but to fulfill the wish of his only true friend—to save his soul!

So-called destiny is simply walking a path one cannot escape!

November 15th, Xuanwu Calendar 345, Ping'an Village.

Ping'an Village, true to its name, is a secluded, peaceful village.

The village has a small population, only about ten households and sixty people. Time seems to stand still here; the changing seasons are merely a routine, making it a true paradise.

Until the arrival of "that person."

As the sun gradually sets, the warm winter sun adds a touch of gentle color to the earth. "That person" walks into Ping'an Village in the crimson sky, bringing an unexpected change to the villagers.

That person was a handsome young man who seemed to have stepped out of a painting. His features were sharply defined, as if carved by a knife, and there wasn't an ounce of excess fat on his body. His light blue robes were spotless, and his demeanor was noble and elegant, as if he were a descendant of an emperor.

Such a person appearing in such a secluded village should have been quite an incongruous event. However, this young man seemed to possess an innate charisma that transcended the ordinary. Everything he did was so natural, as irresistible as the wind blowing through grass. Coupled with his unpretentious manner and kind, gentle smile, he quickly won the hearts of the simple and honest residents, who accepted this rare outsider as one of them.

Although some questioned why such an out-of-place young man would choose to settle in such a remote and underdeveloped village? However, the young man who called himself "Young Master Jun" simply smiled casually and said that although he came from a family of merchants, he disliked the arrogant and power-hungry life within his family. Therefore, he lived a wandering, independent, and peaceful life, and was attracted by this secluded paradise, which led him to decide to settle down.

This explanation perfectly matched the young man's demeanor, and since the villagers were generally not suspicious, this young man called "Young Master Jun" naturally became a member of "Peaceful Village" and was loved and welcomed by everyone.

Even with an outsider, life in "Peaceful Village" remained largely unchanged. Sunrise and sunset, changing seasons, regardless of the turmoil and violence of the outside world, the peaceful life in the village continued.

Until "that incident" occurred.

Chapter Six: The Silver Reaper

Time flies, and three months had passed since "Young Master Jun" arrived in Peaceful Village. The young man, who welcomed the New Year with the villagers, was almost considered part of this large family.

Young Master Jun lived in a detached brick house. It's worth mentioning that he built the house himself, brick by brick, step by step. Some kind villagers offered to help, but he politely declined. Only after the house was completed were the villagers surprised that this seemingly pampered young master possessed skills comparable to professional craftsmen. After the house was finished

, Young Master Jun immediately devoted himself to the construction of the courtyard. Even at dawn or dusk, he could be seen digging holes and planting trees outside his house. Soon, the open space around the house was completely covered in greenery.

The nearby residents were initially somewhat curious about Young Master Jun's enthusiasm for gardening, but gradually they became accustomed to it, even finding it all the more remarkable that a young man from a wealthy family could have such a simple and hardworking hobby.

One noon, a middle-aged villager named Wang Fuqing, following his daily routine, went to the woods outside the village to chop firewood. Shortly after he entered the woods, a piercing scream echoed from the depths of the forest.

"Dead...dead...dead...dead!...!"

Old Wang, as if terrified by some horrific ghost, ran out of the woods, muttering incoherently, drawing stares from the crowd.

"What dead person? Old Wang, did you drink too much last night and hallucinate?" "Old Wang

, what are you yelling about so early in the morning? Are

you crazy?" "No...I'm not lying...there really is a dead person in the woods!..."

Hearing Old Wang's confident assurance, the crowd, with a mixture of belief and skepticism, followed him back into the depths of the forest, only to be greeted by a scene that seemed straight out of hell.

Under the trunk of one of the tallest, naked trees in the woods, sat the corpse of a woman, completely naked, in the shade.

The tree roots all around were covered in blackish-red stains! And, most horrifyingly, were…

eyeballs, ears, tongues, hands, livers, uteruses… one human organ after another, scattered around as if deliberately arranged into some kind of totem symbol. The last rays of the winter sun filtered through the shade of the trees, illuminating this distorted work of art in the forest, a work of terror.

None of the villagers present could speak; they just stood there, stunned and motionless. Finally, someone couldn't

bear it any longer, and the first person bent over and vomited.

One after another, they could no longer remain in this living hell on earth, fleeing from the forest like refugees.

This sudden tragedy shocked the peaceful village. The villagers, who previously didn't even know how to write the word "kill," had committed at most theft of a chicken from their own yard, and the worst accident was a rainstorm washing away the village's road.

But this incident was far more serious than anything before.

The villagers initially couldn't believe such a brutal and inhumane murder could happen in their village. However, the dismembered body in the woods was an undeniable fact. Although investigations revealed the deceased wasn't from any village, and no one recognized him, the fact that such a heinous crime had occurred so close by was impossible to ignore.

The most intriguing aspect was Jun Shao's reaction.

When he saw the body with the others, the usually calm and collected Jun Shao seemed like a completely different person. His face turned deathly pale, cold sweat poured down his back, and his body trembled uncontrollably. He muttered to himself, "Monster...it's a monster...the monster is here..."

This outburst went largely unnoticed, as everyone was gripped by fear and terror—a collective hysteria, to say the least.

In the days following the shock of the murder, Ping'an Village was shrouded in an atmosphere of gloom and despair. Everyone held a mixture of love and fear, refusing to speak of the incident, and the case was ultimately closed as a "wild animal attack on a passing woman." However, no one could offer a reasonable explanation for why the animal would clean up the crime scene.

At least, that was the surface-level

explanation. A few days later, just as people were beginning to forget the stench of the tragedy, a new murder unfolded like a catastrophe, this time in a more shocking and immediate manner.

On the ninth day of the third lunar month, Old Wang's only daughter, A'luo, suddenly disappeared on her way home, never to be seen again.

A'luo's father was frantic, searching everywhere, but to no avail. A'luo seemed to have vanished into thin air, leaving not even a trace of her clothing.

A week passed in this atmosphere of fear and unease. On the morning of the eighth day, A'luo was finally found, but as a cold, lifeless body.

On March 16th, Old Wang, dragging his weary feet from a sleepless night, stepped out of his house and was met with a horrifying scene he would never forget.

At first, all he saw was a pile of lumps, with what appeared to be some red liquid residue around them. The pile of lumps emitted a foul odor, which at first seemed vaguely familiar to Old Wang. He later realized it was exactly the same smell as the dismembered murder scene he had recently discovered in the woods.

An indescribable feeling drove Old Wang step by step toward the pile of lumps. When he finally saw clearly what the pile of "things" was, he couldn't help but scream.

It was his daughter, A Luo, who had been missing for many days!

Her once vibrant and youthful body had been cut into six parts: limbs, head, and torso. The cuts were unusually clean, making one wonder what kind of sharp weapon could have caused such an effect. A'Luo's arms and legs were laid out in a "well" shape on the ground, with her naked body in the center. Her abdomen had been ripped out, and her head was stuffed inside. Two streams of bloody tears fell from her closed eyes, like a brand from the depths of hell.

"Ah...ah...ah ah..."

The scene, more horrifying and gruesome than any nightmare, left Old Wang, a lifelong farmer, completely blank. His legs gave way, and he collapsed to the ground, his mouth agape, unable to utter a single word, only letting out meaningless screams.

Compared to the first murder, this tragedy struck the deepest part of every villager's heart. Fear enveloped them like a thick fog. Given the nightmarish scene, this time it was impossible to dismiss it as an attack by an "unidentified wild animal."

Besides Old Wang, who grieved for his beloved daughter, the other person most heartbroken by A'Luo's tragic death was Young Master Jun. Everyone knew that A'Luo had a strong affection for Jun Shao, and the latter seemed to reciprocate the desire to date the beautiful A'Luo. The villagers were all optimistic that this golden couple would eventually become a couple.

But unexpectedly, this sudden tragedy destroyed all possibilities.

At A'Luo's funeral, Jun Shao was the one who cried the most bitterly. His heartbreaking grief moved all who witnessed it, and Old Wang felt immense pity for his unfulfilled son-in-law.

"Jun Shao… the dead cannot be brought back to life… you… don't be too sad…"

Old Wang, with the sorrow of a parent burying their child, patted Jun Shao's shoulder, trying to comfort him. The latter couldn't utter a word, only nodding and sobbing. From his outward appearance, his grief seemed genuine, without any pretense.

That evening, when Jun Shao returned home, his heartbroken expression from the daytime abruptly changed, becoming completely different—an expression that could no longer be called "human"! His expression, a blend of madness, cold-bloodedness, evil, and ruthlessness, suggested that a hideous, cruel, and bloodthirsty black monster had always resided within him! This monster, which had been lurking within Jun Shao, had now been resurrected, no longer suppressed. Awakening from its slumber, it had taken control of Jun Shao's body, preparing to wreak havoc, all for a terrifying plan.

"Hehehehe... Hahahaha!..."

A low, maniacal laugh, filled with cruelty, escaped Jun Shao's lips. If that sound were to reach the ears of the other villagers, it would surely cause a great commotion.

A sliver of moonlight shone into Jun Shao's room through the window. Besides him, there was another person in the room! It was... Old Wang, but Old Wang without a head!

The headless corpse lay sprawled on the floor, blood still flowing from its headless neck, staining the floor crimson.

Jun Shao cradled Old Wang's head in his hands, gazing into the old man's lifeless, terrified eyes. His own eyes, now silver, stared at the severed head, and he let out another unreadable, maniacal laugh.

"Ignorant fools! How dare you touch the noble body of this Holy Emperor! I'll send you and your lowly daughter to hell to repent for your vile deeds!"

Jun Shao was completely different from the Jun Shao of the daytime, both in body and mind. And when even his hair turned from black to silver, we could finally confirm his identity: the leader of the "Four Great Generals"! The Supreme One of the "Six Paths of Reincarnation"! The undisputed number one in the world—the "Peerless Evil God," Ni Tianxie!!

But why would a dignified evil sovereign hide his identity and disguise himself in such a backward village, committing such a horrific crime against these innocent villagers?

Before understanding the reason, Jun Shao—no, we should now call him "Ni Tianxie"! Suddenly, he stood up, shoved Old Wang's head into a corner, and his crazed and cruel gaze, like that of a restless child, wandered around the room.

"Next... today... which one should I kill?"

It turns out that the purpose of Ni Tianxie building this small house was to turn it into his private execution ground. To satisfy his insatiable bloodlust, he disguised himself as an honest and kind-hearted young man, gaining the villagers' trust before brutally murdering them for a perverse pleasure.

To build pleasure on such cruel acts, we can only say that Ni Tianxie is truly ill, and seriously ill at that.

He is now a monster in human skin, a monster with unparalleled power and wisdom!

Tonight is another full moon night. Since the two murders in the village, "Peaceful Village" has become unsafe. After nightfall, no one dares to walk outside; every household locks their doors for safety.

However, such behavior is utterly laughable in the eyes of this murderous monster with astonishing power.

Chen Xin's family lived less than a hundred steps from Old Wang's house, and they often visited each other. Chen Xin's favorite thing to do was to take some local wine to Old Wang's house after working in the fields, have a couple of drinks, and chat about everything under the sun. However, this leisurely and peaceful life vanished along with Old Wang's daughter, A Luo, after she disappeared.

After the funeral during the day, Chen Xin felt that, based on their long-standing friendship, he should at least go to Old Wang's house tonight to offer his condolences, and his wife supported his decision.

Just as Chen Xin opened the door to leave, a cold wind swept across his neck, and an inexplicable chill ran down his spine. Before he could figure out what was happening, he suddenly heard his wife's small voice from behind him.

"Help!..."

The voice was like a string that had been cut short after playing a single note. Chen Xin turned around abruptly and saw "him" there.

He wore deep red, almost black clothes, with silver hair and pupils that were as deep and unfathomable as cat eyes. His lips were as red as blood, his teeth were gleaming white, and he had an incomparably radiant smile.

"Good night, isn't this a wonderful night? Brother Chen."

The word "Brother Chen" awakened Chen Xin's memories. This strange man, who made him tremble with fear at first glance, was actually... Young Master Jun?

Chen Xin suddenly noticed something at Jun Shao's feet...something that looked somewhat familiar...it seemed...it should be...

"Jun Shao" also noticed Chen Xin's gaze and said lightly with a pleasant expression, "Could it be that you don't even recognize your own wife? Brother Chen."

Chen Xin finally saw the object at Jun Shao's feet clearly, and an emotion beyond fear made him scream out loud.

His wife—if that pool of "blood" on the ground could still be called his wife—had he and his wife already parted forever in the short distance from turning around to walking towards his own door?!

A flash of blue light suddenly appeared before his eyes, followed by a chill in his abdomen, then a wet, warm sensation rising in his lower abdomen. He looked down in disbelief and found a gash in his abdomen, with bright red intestines protruding, and he could even see the dinner he had just eaten! Chen Xin's mouth gaped open in excruciating pain, his eyes wide, tears streaming down his face, and his wails echoed throughout the room.

"What a beautiful sound... I never tire of it no matter how many times I hear it..."

Jun Shao—Ni Tianxie—raised a finger and lightly traced it across Chen Xin's face, like a gentle breeze caressing his cheek. Before Chen Xin could even understand what was happening, his face felt hot, then itchy, and instantly turned into excruciating pain.

The twitching red muscles, the fine pink skin, and the white bones beneath were exposed to the air. Half of Chen Xin's skin had been forcibly torn off, and that half was now held in Ni Tianxie's hand!

"Hahahaha!!"

Ni Tianxie laughed maniacally, his expression crazed and terrifying.

"Help...help...help..."

Ignoring the excruciating pain, Chen Xin struggled to escape outdoors for help, but Ni Tianxie stepped on his back, letting out a long, demonic laugh: "Useless trash! You don't need to go anywhere, because I've already had my fill of you. Today is the day this village is destroyed!"

The door was flung open, and a group of villagers rushed in. They had heard the strange noises inside and rushed over to see what was happening, unaware that this was the beginning of a tragedy. "

What...what happened?!"

The bloody scene that greeted them shocked everyone, but that moment of hesitation became a lifelong regret.

"Die!"

Ni Tianxie's right hand flashed out with a sword-like gesture, a blue light shooting across three zhang of air towards the front row of villagers. This worldly sword energy, capable of easily slicing through rock, was as easy as snapping a branch and cutting flesh! The first three villagers to enter the house were sliced in half at the waist! Only then did their screams reach the ears of the others, demonstrating the speed and power of the sword strike.

"Murder! Murder!" "

This was the first death knell tolled for Ping'an Village.

Sword wind, blood, and wails became the villagers' demise in a three-part symphony!

Chaos and screams became the stimulant for the 'Peerless Evil God,' like a bull drawn to a waving red banner. The silver-haired youth raised his killing sword, its dazzling blue crystal light slashing at the surrounding figures.

Blood sprayed out, droplets splashing onto the walls, painting a hellish, impressionistic ink painting. Limbs and severed bodies flew everywhere. The silver death god appeared and disappeared like a vengeful rabbit; for every villager who encountered him, death was the only outcome, without exception—men and women, the old and the young." The merciless Grim Reaper's "Sword of Eternity" turned them into indiscriminate chunks of flesh. The sword's energy sliced through flesh and bone, splitting earth and shattering rocks; the flowing blood was as thick as mud, carving a bloody canyon.

Showing no sign of stopping, the silver-haired Grim Reaper reveled in the thrill of slaughter, his eyes devoid of any warmth.

The villagers' fear stemmed from death, and at this moment, the rebellious demon was death itself.

After an unknown amount of time, the demonic slaughterer finally ceased his rampage. Under his tireless, frenzied hacking, the sixty-seven villagers of "Peaceful Village" vanished forever from the earth. But this was only the beginning of an even greater tragedy.

"Hahahaha! Hahahahahaha!"

The demonic, maniacal laughter never ceased from that day forward.
