[Wuxia] The Duan Family Women Generals (Complete) - 13

Chapter 51 – Zhang Haitao's Violence in the Camp, Qi Qiaoyun Captured and Humiliated . Meanwhile,

Wang Bingzheng and his generals, on the earthen hill, watched in fear as Qi Qiaoyun and Hua Mingyu, two female generals, were captured in the enemy's formation.
After a long silence, Feng Qingfang said, "Marshal, this formation is indeed formidable. We have no one here who understands
formations; I'm afraid it will be difficult!" "I think so too, but where can we find someone who understands formations?"
"I believe there are many capable people in the world, like the great hero Zhou. If the Marshal sends men to
search far and wide, they will surely find someone who can break this formation." "Vice Marshal Feng's words are very much to my liking. All officers, quickly send men to search for experts. Anyone who can break this formation will be invited with courtesy."
As soon as this order was issued, dozens came to serve him daily. Many were ambitious fools seeking advancement, while others were truly talented, but after seeing the formation, they all shook their heads.
While Wang Bingzheng was issuing orders to recruit talented individuals, receiving visitors daily and testing their abilities, he also
discussed the matter. Meanwhile, in the government army camp, the heads of over two thousand prisoners of war were already hanging, ten heads strung together and hung on the flagpoles of seven smaller formations. Even more striking were the corpses of dozens of female soldiers, their heads still intact, completely naked.
Three days later, another thirty-odd naked female soldiers' corpses were hung. The day after that, the corpses of Qi Qiaoyun and Hua Mingyu were hung on the flagpoles, a rather erotic sight that only deepened the soldiers' gloom. After
the two female generals were captured, they were taken to Fengcheng Pass and directly to the garrison headquarters to report their victory to Grand Tutor Hu.
Grand Tutor Hu, who had already seen them from the city walls, was delighted. He first awarded Zhang Haitao and Liu Ziyu the first merit, then ordered the captured female generals to be brought to the court.
The two women arrived at the hall, standing but not kneeling. Grand Tutor Hu ordered Zhang Haitao and Liu Ziyu to each take their captives back to their camps, where they would be distributed among the soldiers for enjoyment, before being executed.
To Wang Bingzheng, Qi Qiaoyun and Hua Mingyu were generals; to the court, they were rebels. The treatment of female rebels was an extra-legal measure; selling them into prostitution was considered normal. Distributing them to the soldiers was, even in the mind of a loyal minister like Hu Dashi, a perfectly reasonable course of action. Only the two women, Qi and Hua, suffered a fate worse than prostitutes.
First, Zhang Haitao carried Qi Qiaoyun back to his camp, where all the deputy generals and lieutenant generals came to congratulate him.
Zhang Haitao distributed the wine and meat bestowed by Hu Dashi to the soldiers in his camp, and also distributed the dozen or so female soldiers of Qi Qiaoyun, who were assigned to his own camp, among the soldiers in various camps. The whole camp erupted in cheers.
Zhang Haitao left the other generals in his own tent, then carried Qi Qiaoyun out of her sleeping quarters and placed her on the table in front of him.
Qi Qiaoyun remained bound like a dumpling, lying on her back with her legs in the air, her eyes closed and silent.
The generals, now filled with lust, had no appetite for drinking and clamored for Zhang Haitao to hurry up and act.
Zhang Haitao, however, was in no hurry. He grabbed Qi Qiaoyun's hair, lifted her to a sitting position, and showed her her
fair, tender back to the generals. Qi Qiaoyun was no more than twenty years old, her skin as white and delicate as jade.
Zhang Haitao stroked her smooth, bare back, gently loosening the straps of her bodice, then laid her back down, tearing off the bodice to reveal two small, round breasts, leaving only her bright red undergarment.
Qi Qiaoyun's legs were bound to her chest, bent almost at a 180-degree angle, her round buttocks stretched taut, revealing a soft ridge of flesh between her legs—her youthful, private area.
Zhang Haitao pulled her breasts from under her thighs to her sides so everyone could see them, then gently stroked her buttocks and probed her anus.
Qi Qiaoyun had never suffered such humiliation and silently shed tears.
The generals, seeing Qiaoyun's breasts, were aroused and surrounded her, eager to strip her lower garments.
Knowing their impatience, Zhang Haitao had them help loosen the ropes binding Qi Qiaoyun, making her more tightly bound so her lower body could be freed. He then removed her undergarments, revealing two jade-like buttocks like full moons and a dense thicket of dark hair. He then pressed her face up onto the table, spreading her legs so her small, golden lotus feet were raised, revealing her fresh vulva.
Qi Qiaoyun's anus was a deep crimson color, tightly contracted, nestled between her two beautiful buttocks. The labia were of moderate thickness, with a few pubic hairs. Zhang Haitao used both hands to peel back her labia, revealing her pink vulva.
Although Qi Qiaoyun was a woman of strong will, she was powerless to resist. Her entire body was subdued by the enemy generals, who groped her haphazardly. Zhang Haitao licked her vulva with his tongue. Even the most virile woman could not endure such torment. A stream of clear fluid gushed from her vulva, and she couldn't help but cry out in shame for her disgraceful state.
Hearing her cry, Zhang Haitao and the others became even more lustful. They groped her body until it trembled, then revealed their dark, engorged member, pressing it against Qi Qiaoyun's vulva. When Qi Qiaoyun looked down and saw it, she was terrified, her body twisting wildly, screaming shrilly.
Zhang Haitao had no mercy. With a thrust, his seven- or eight-inch-long penis plunged all the way into Qi Qiaoyun's vulva.
Zhang Haitao stuck out his buttocks and pulled outwards, causing Qi Qiaoyun's vulva to be turned inside out by his thick member. Thin fluid mixed with a trace of virgin blood flowed down her perineum, past her anus, and onto the table.
Zhang Haitao thrust in and out seven or eight more times. Pain, stimulation, and humiliation tormented Qi Qiaoyun all at once, causing her to howl like a she-wolf.
The soldiers in the camp knew what was happening inside the tent and all came to the front to listen. When they heard something exciting, some couldn't help but reach into their pants and start fiddling with their hands.
Qi Qiaoyun was penetrated by Zhang Haitao five or six hundred times. Zhang Haitao felt that he was about to reach his peak of pleasure, so he stopped, took a few deep breaths to calm himself down, and then continued until he had gone over a thousand times. Only then did he insert his penis to the hilt deep into Qi Qiaoyun's body and ejaculate all his tension into her stomach.
Before Zhang Haitao could even put his pants back on, a lieutenant general had already impatiently entered Qi Qiaoyun's body.
Qi Qiaoyun was being raped by different men, feeling utterly humiliated. However, in her utter despair, she finally regained control, wiping away her tears and remaining silent, allowing her vagina to be penetrated and expelled by different men.
The generals' abuse lasted for over two hours before finally ending. Qi Qiaoyun was so exhausted from the rape that she couldn't even stand.
Zhang Haitao summoned a junior officer from outside the tent and ordered that Qi Qiaoyun be distributed among the soldiers in the camp. Immediately, the entire camp erupted in cheers. Several soldiers entered and, led by the junior officer, carried Qi Qiaoyun out of the tent. They found a wooden stake, spread her legs, and tied her to it. Then, the junior officers waiting in the main tent took turns raping Qi Qiaoyun while she stood.
Besides Qi Qiaoyun, the camp also had over a dozen female guards, so most soldiers had other outlets for their desires and didn't necessarily vent on Qi Qiaoyun, but they all came to watch the spectacle. A highly skilled female general was now bound in the open, being gang-raped by those filthy lower-ranking soldiers—a truly horrific sight.
Qi Qiaoyun kept her eyes closed, uttering no sound, only wishing for an early death. Even when the soldiers tried to feed her, she refused to eat or drink.
This went on for three days. Seeing that all the soldiers in the camp had had a chance to release their lust, Zhang Haitao ordered the dozen or so female personal guards, already naked, to be bound outside the tent, strangled one by one, and then their necks tied with ropes and hung from the top of the flagpole as a public spectacle.
On the fourth day, Qi Qiaoyun was still breathing. Zhang Haitao personally untied her from the stake, holding her by the neck with one hand, lifting her like a goose. Qi Qiaoyun kicked her slender legs in suffocation, a series of gurgling sounds coming from her chest, and then she died a violent death. Zhang Haitao ordered Qi Qiaoyun to be hung on the flagpole as well.
While Qi Qiaoyun was being humiliated and tortured, Hua Mingyu was also being tormented in another camp. To find out how Liu Ziyu abused her, please read the next chapter.

Chapter 52 – Hua Mingyu's Peril, Wang Ruowang Joins the Camp

As mentioned earlier, Qi Qiaoyun and Hua Mingyu ignored warnings and insisted on charging into the enemy lines, resulting in their capture.
Qi Qiaoyun was given to Zhang Haitao and his men, while Hua Mingyu was given to Liu Ziyu's camp.
Like Zhang Haitao, the captured female soldiers under Hua Mingyu's command were distributed among Liu Ziyu's troops, leaving Hua Mingyu for himself and the generals in his camp.
Hua Mingyu and Qi Qiaoyun were born in the same year, though a few months later, and were equally beautiful.
Unlike Qi Qiaoyun, Liu Ziyu didn't bind Hua Mingyu tightly. Instead, he simply tied her up, leaning her against an eight-immortal table with her legs spread wide. Liu Ziyu pressed his lower body against hers, then pushed her upper body back onto the table.
Because of the backward lean, her pelvis tilted upward, placing her most intimate area between her legs against his manhood. The hard pressure from that thing immediately sent shivers down Hua Mingyu's spine.
The generals surrounded her, whispering amongst themselves, all wanting to see her treasure.
Hua Mingyu knew it was impossible, yet she still begged them to kill her quickly.
Men are often tender-hearted and compassionate, but these generals, long accustomed to military life and rarely experiencing the pleasures of women, were overcome by lust when faced with such a beautiful woman. Liu Ziyu grabbed her bodice and ripped it to shreds, revealing two pointed, jade-like breasts, eliciting gasps of admiration from the generals.
Liu Ziyu grasped her breasts with both hands, kneading them like dough, carefully feeling the youthful vitality within. His erection grew even harder, even painful.
He then loosened the general's belt and gently pulled down her undergarment, revealing the dark hair at the junction of her lower abdomen and groin.
Hua Mingyu trembled. Although she had heard of the humiliation and rape of captured female generals, she had never witnessed it firsthand. She never imagined it would happen to her. The thought of her twenty years of chastity, now captured and reduced to a fate worse than a prostitute, brought tears to her eyes.
The generals helped drag Hua Mingyu onto the octagonal table, holding her upper body down. Liu Ziyu removed her undergarment, revealing her as a large white sheep. Her legs were then held and curled up, thighs bent at her sides, calves pointing upwards, revealing her slightly brownish vulva.
Hua Mingyu's labia weren't as thick as Qi Qiaoyun's, but they were still tightly closed. Liu Ziyu had to use his fingers to part them, revealing her pinkish-red vulva.
Liu Ziyu pulled down his trousers and showed Hua Mingyu his large member.
Hua Mingyu convulsed in terror, unable to break free from their grasp, watching helplessly as the member pressed against her lower body. With a forceful thrust, it tore open her virginity, filling her vulva completely.
A tearing pain shot through her, nothing compared to the thrashing and slapping she endured during martial arts practice, yet it still caused her to scream in agony.
The massive penis began to thrust violently inside her, the intense friction sending waves of irresistible stimulation that forced her to whimper like a kitten.
Liu Ziyu took a long time to withdraw from her body, then replaced her with another man.
Hua Mingyu was like a small boat on a stormy sea, violently pushed to the crest of a wave and then thrown into a deep ravine; she could only drift with the current, completely at their mercy.
Several hours had passed since the soldiers obtained Hua Mingyu. They had other female soldiers to vent their lust on, so Hua Mingyu was merely an object of their amusement.
They cut down a small tree as thick as an arm, removed the top, and tied Hua Mingyu's legs horizontally in a split to the tree. The tree was laid flat, reaching waist height, with each end tied to a stake. The beautiful woman was thus suspended upside down, forming a giant T-shape.
Then they placed a chair in front of the small tree trunk, nailed a three-inch-high, one-inch-thick round wooden stake to it, and lifted Hua Mingyu's upper body face down by her hair, forcing the stake into her small mouth. This meant half her body weight had to be borne by her mouth—how painful that must have been!
In this position, the soldiers could easily play with and rape her from behind. They certainly wouldn't let such an opportunity slip by easily; after all, she was a general, while they were just a bunch of lowly soldiers. The disparity in their status became the reason they indulged in humiliating her. Therefore, countless men's penises entered and exited her small anus and tender vulva every day, ravaging her body and mind.
In the same amount of time, Hua Mingyu suffered far more than Qi Qiaoyun. So, while Qi Qiaoyun was strangled to death by Zhang Haitao, Hua Mingyu had already been played to death.
Liu Ziyu ordered Hua Mingyu's body to be hung on a flagpole. The soldiers then found a thick rope, tied both ends to the two ends of a small tree trunk, and attached another rope to the middle. The rope was hung upside down below the watchtower at the heart of the formation. Soldiers climbed into the watchtower and used a long spear to pierce Hua Mingyu's vagina and abdomen from above, leaving her erect.
The beautiful woman, though possessing first-rate martial arts skills, perished in the enemy camp without achieving anything.
Wang Bingzheng and the other generals could only watch helplessly as their female general was raped and murdered, hoping only to find a master to break the formation.
A dozen days later, Wang Ruowang, a recluse from Lingnan, and Tao Xiuying, the female Marquis of Liu, came to join the camp.
The two masters arrived at the camp on the same day.
Wang Ruowang himself went to the camp gate to request an audience. He was about fifty years old, with a refined and otherworldly appearance, wearing a feather fan and a silk turban, resembling the legendary Zhuge Liang. Tao Xiuying, on the other hand, was introduced by Feng Qing. She was only eighteen years old and as beautiful as a fairy.
Although Tao Xiuying had the demeanor of a great lady, she was still only eighteen and a woman. Therefore, despite Feng Qing's strong recommendation, Wang Ruowang was still somewhat embarrassed by her youth.
Wang Bingzheng invited Wang Ruowang and Tao Xiuying to climb to a high place to observe the formation. After they finished, they returned to the main tent. Wang Ruowang bowed and said, "Marshal, I have just seen the formation. This formation is very different from the previous ones; it is indeed extremely powerful."
"Strategist, how powerful is this formation?"
"This formation seems to be a variation of the One-Character Long Snake Formation, but it incorporates Hu Da's own insights, so it is far superior to the ordinary One-Character Long Snake Formation.
"Previous formations either used soldiers' drills to trap enemy troops with changes in formation, aiming for total annihilation; or they used traps and ambushes to trap enemy troops with hidden arrows and terrain, aiming for total annihilation. Both of these have their strengths and weaknesses."
"Using soldiers as formations, adapting to time and place, and changing in countless ways, makes it impossible for the enemy to prepare in advance—this is its strength. However, because its core is soldiers, it requires a large number of soldiers and generals, and long-term training to familiarize them with the formations. Moreover, it inevitably involves face-to-face combat with the enemy, and casualties are unavoidable. As the saying goes, 'For every ten thousand killed, eight thousand of your own are lost'—this is its weakness." "Using weapons as formations, it doesn't require a large number of soldiers and generals—this is its strength. However, setting up ambushes and traps is very expensive, and once established, it's difficult to change. As long as the formation's structure is known, the ambush can be avoided, or its mechanisms can be destroyed, the formation will collapse on its own, rendering it useless. It's also easy to accidentally injure one's own soldiers—this is its weakness.
" "Now, observing this formation, it seems to use a combination of strength and flexibility, compensating for weaknesses with strengths. The military formation uses the weapon formation as its skeleton, and the weapon formation uses the military formation as its flesh. It makes it difficult for me to break the military formation, and difficult to break the weapon formation, hence I say it's powerful."
Wang Bingzheng then asked Tao Xiuying.
Xiuying said, "Mr. Wang is absolutely right."
"According to you two, is this formation unbreakable?"
Xiuying said, "Difficult!"
Wang Ruowang said, "Although this formation is powerful, for every spear there is a shield; they are mutually restraining. There is always a way to break it. I have a brilliant plan, but to break this formation, we must first obtain the formation diagram. Without the diagram, the weapon formation is difficult to map, and if the weapon formation is difficult to map, the military formation will have weapon formations to block it, making it even more difficult to break."
Xiuying said, "Mr. Wang is indeed insightful. I admire you."
Wang Bingzheng was overjoyed and immediately appointed Wang Ruowang as his military advisor, and made Tao Xiuying the female scribe in the central command tent.
In fact, Feng Qing had already tested Tao Xiuying's strategic acumen and knew of her great talent. He hadn't originally intended to send her to Wang Bingzheng, but seeing Wang Bingzheng's reluctance to give her an important position, he claimed that no one in his central command tent was literate and asked Wang Bingzheng for Xiuying to be his scribe. Wang Bingzheng, unsure how to utilize Xiuying, readily agreed.
Tao Xiuying, however, had long seen through Wang Bingzheng's true intentions and deliberately concealed her abilities, preventing Wang Bingzheng from employing her. She also understood Feng Qing's intentions, as she didn't reject him because of his lowly rank as a scribe, ultimately helping him achieve great success.
From then on, Wang Ruowang led his troops to familiarize themselves with various battle formations and diagrams, focusing on the methods and countermeasures of the "One-Character Long Snake Formation," preparing to use it to break the enemy's formation. In
the blink of an eye, Hu Da's grand formation was complete, and he sent a challenge to Wang Bingzheng, demanding a date for breaking it. Wang Bingzheng consulted Wang Ruowang and replied that he would break the formation within three months.
When Wang Bingzheng replied, he also sent men to deliver the four Wuli sisters, who had been pickled into meat, to Huda's camp by cart. In front of the government troops, the urns were smashed.
Seeing the tragic state of the four female assassins, Huda and his generals were furious. This was a way for both sides to demoralize the other before the battle.
Two months passed, and none of Wang Bingzheng's scouts had reported any plans, nor was there any movement from Zhou Tian. Wang Bingzheng was extremely anxious.
One day, while Wang Bingzheng was worrying, a report came that the grain supervisor, Wang Jun, had arrived. Wang Jun
entered the tent, handed over his command token, and reported that he had delivered xx shi of military rations, xx carts of hay, xx barrels of tung oil, xx barrels of sesame oil, xx barrels of soybean oil, xx barrels of rapeseed oil, xx barrels of cottonseed oil, and xx barrels of sealing wax.
Wang Bingzheng said, "I sent you to transport grain and fodder, what use is all this lacquer and oil?"
Upon hearing Wang Jun's words, Wang Bingzheng was overjoyed. What would Wang Jun say next? Let's find out in the next chapter.

Chapter 53 – The

Recluse Zhou Steals the Battle Formation Diagram at Night, Wang Bingzheng Sets Fire to the Seven Stars. It is said that the grain transport officer, Wang Jun, had escorted the grain to the front lines and handed over his command token. Among the goods transported were some oil and sealing wax, which puzzled Wang Bingzheng.
Wang Jun replied that a complete stranger had given it to him on his return journey, saying that he had been entrusted to purchase it in neighboring prefectures. The stranger added that the marshal had recently appointed a strategist, and the oil was given to the strategist for a specific purpose.
Wang Bingzheng hurriedly invited Wang Ruowang over to explain. Wang Ruowang nodded and said, "This man is highly talented, far surpassing me. I wonder why he refuses to serve in the army."
Wang Bingzheng asked, "Does the strategist know this man?"
"I don't know, but this man has never entered the formation yet, but he already knows the method to break it. He is truly superior to me. I hope the Marshal will try his best to recruit him."
It turned out that Wang Ruowang was a good friend of Zhou Tian and had come to help Wang Bingzheng at Zhou Tian's request. In fact, Zhou Tian had already discovered the whereabouts of the formation diagram, but dared not steal it easily, fearing that Hu Da would discover the loss of the diagram and change the formation. That's why Wang Ruowang dared to say, "I have a brilliant plan." Now, upon seeing the tung oil, he suddenly understood. Although he no longer had the formation diagram, half of the formation had already been broken, hence his exclamation. Little did he know that it was actually Feng Qing who sent people to purchase oil from various places and then mysteriously entrusted it to Wang Jun. And this was Tao Xiuying's idea to Feng Qing.
Tao Xiuying knew Wang Bingzheng was short-sighted and refused to associate with him, but she also feared revealing her true abilities and incurring his jealousy, so she deliberately created a charade.
For the next month, oil, sealing wax, and other supplies were continuously transported from the rear, which Wang Ruowang ordered to be stored in the rear camp. He also had people supervise the construction of huge oil drums and special vehicles every day.
That very night, suddenly, cannons roared and shouts of men and neighing of horses filled the air from Hu Da's camp. Wang Bingzheng and his soldiers, thinking it was a raid, hurriedly donned their armor. However, after half the night, not a single soldier or general appeared, leaving them bewildered by
the commotion. At dawn, a soldier reported that an old hermit named Zhou was outside the camp requesting an audience. Wang Bingzheng was overjoyed and ordered all the generals to come out and greet him.
Upon reaching the main tent, Wang Bingzheng asked, "Old hermit Zhou, how is the matter you entrusted to me?"
"I have not failed the Marshal's high expectations," Zhou replied, then took out a yellow silk package from his robes and handed it to Wang Bingzheng.
Wang Bingzheng hurriedly stepped down from his seat, bowed deeply, and said, "Old hermit, you are truly a master. I, Wang Bingzheng, thank you in gratitude." He personally took the document, opened it, and saw that it was indeed the diagram of the Seven Star Coiling Dragon Formation. He was overjoyed.
Zhou Tian said, "This is a trivial matter, not worth mentioning. Marshal, please quickly arrange to break the formation to prevent any unforeseen circumstances. Now that my business here is finished, I plan to travel the world. Farewell."
Wang Bingzheng and the other generals tried their best to persuade him to stay, but Zhou Tian was unwilling to be bound by worldly affairs. Wang Bingzheng had no choice but to hold a grand banquet to entertain him. He then took out his jade pendant and gave it to Zhou Tian, saying, "With this jade pendant, no one within my influence will dare to disrespect the old hermit Zhou." Zhou Tian could not refuse, so he accepted it, hung it on his waist, and then turned and left the camp, disappearing without a trace.
Wang Bingzheng spread the battle formation diagram on the table for everyone to see. After they had looked at it, he asked Wang Ruowang, "What does the strategist think?"
Wang Ruowang replied, "Judging from this diagram, although the Panlong Formation's weapon array is powerful, it has a fatal flaw. However, the variations in its troop formation are unexpected."
Wang Bingzheng asked, "I would like to hear the details."
"This place is a plain, without mountains or rivers, so Hu Da's weapon array was entirely man-made, dug into the ground to form a crisscrossing chessboard pattern, covered with wooden planks, and then covered with a thin layer of soil. The soldiers are stationed in the tunnels, moving entirely underground according to the flags at the array's focal points, making it impossible for the attackers to know. There are also trapdoors and pits on the ground, and many hidden bows and arrows are buried underground, so any troops entering the formation are restrained at every turn. When Hu Da set up the formation, he should have set up more partitions in the tunnels, but he probably lacked the financial and manpower, so all the tunnels are interconnected without any obstruction, which gave us the opportunity to break the formation." Upon
hearing this, Wang Bingzheng understood immediately and suddenly realized the truth.
Wang Ruowang continued, "However, Hu Da's troop formation is even more unpredictable than I know. Given time, we should have a foolproof plan. But with the deadline for breaking the formation fast approaching, there's no time left to train the soldiers. We will surely win this battle, but the casualties will be enormous."
Wang Bingzheng said, "Since ancient times, casualties have been inevitable in warfare. We cannot allow this to give others ammunition. Please, strategist, devise a plan to break the formation."
Upon hearing that they had obtained the battle formation diagram, the entire camp rejoiced, eager to fight, and their morale was high.
Because the enemy's formation was massive, Wang Bingzheng had already deployed his troops within the first three days.
The first route, led by Feng Qing's left-wing vanguard He Yuanlong and Pei Feng, attacked the Tian Shu Formation; the third route, led by Feng Qing's female generals Zhu Mei and Qi Lan, attacked the Tian Xuan Formation; the fourth route, led by Feng Chong and his female generals Yue Ling, Liu Zhu, and Qin Ju, attacked the Tian Ji Formation; the fifth route, led by the central vanguard Wang Yinping and Wang Xiaojiao, attacked the Yao Guang Formation; the sixth route, led by Guan Yuan and Ding Qi, attacked the Kai Yang Formation; the seventh route, led by Gu Feng and Ke Liang, attacked the Yu Heng Formation; and the seventh route, led by Wang Bingzheng, with the general vanguard Wang Ke, Wang Jun, Pang Qi, Cao Yunlong, female general Han Sumei, and other generals, attacked the central Tian Quan Formation.
The seven armies set up camp in different locations and made preparations. On the morning of the third day, they prepared food at the fourth watch and set out at the fifth watch. Before dawn, a large fire was already burning on the top of the earthen mound. Upon seeing the fire, the seven armies simultaneously fired cannons and charged towards their respective targets.
Since losing the battle formation map, the morale of Hu Da's army had been wavering. Hu Da knew things were going badly and hurriedly ordered each battalion to be cautious, while simultaneously arranging a change in formation.
But it was too late. Hearing the cannon fire, each battalion knew the enemy was attacking and charged out of their formations. However, in the darkness, they could not see clearly and were killed or wounded by a hail of arrows.
The seven armies, led by their commanders, attacked to the front lines, but instead of entering the formation, they formed a battle array. Archers held off the enemy soldiers, while officers moved back and forth to intercept any enemy soldiers or generals who tried to approach. Taking advantage of this opportunity, many soldiers carrying pickaxes came up from behind. Following the battle formation map, they found a section of tunnel, dug open the wooden planks above, and killed the soldiers inside with arrows and spears. Then, countless carts followed, each with a forward-leaning plank on which a huge wooden barrel was placed horizontally. They were held together by thick ropes, pushed to the edge of the tunnel, and the ropes were cut. The barrel rolled into the tunnel and shattered into pieces.
Countless barrels of various oils spread throughout the tunnels, and in the blink of an eye, seventy percent of the tunnels were filled with oil. At the commander's order, ignition sources were thrown into the tunnels, and instantly, flames soared into the sky.
The commanders of the various formations, hearing that oil had flooded the tunnels, knew something was wrong and hurriedly ordered their troops to block the oil with earth. However, the time it took to relay the order was far too slow compared to the flow of the oil. Moreover, Wang Bingzheng was very well prepared; there was simply too much oil to block in time. By the time the fire started, it was already out of control.
Fire attacks have been a common tactic in warfare since ancient times, but they usually rely on wind to start a fire, using materials like firewood, saltpeter, and sulfur. The use of oil was extremely rare in ancient times. Oil differs from other fuels; it flows with the current, making it most effective against caves and tunnels. Hu Da suffered a great loss because of this.
The fire instantly scorched the soldiers inside the tunnels, with only a few escaping. The fire also blew off the tunnel roofs, exposing the entire tunnel system. Hidden traps and ambushes were reduced to charcoal, and some bows were even set on fire, sending arrows flying and wounding many soldiers. The seven great formations became seven graveyards.
The fire gradually died down at the end of the day due to fuel depletion. The seven armies shouted and charged through the formation.
It turned out that Hu Da's formation consisted of two parts: the main body was the military formation, connected by seven weapon formations, each containing a smaller military formation. The fire destroyed the weapon formations and their smaller military formations, but the main military formations remained. The commanders of each formation withdrew from the weapon formations and naturally became the leaders of their respective military formations.
The Panlong Formation is essentially a long, single-line snake formation, characterized by mutual support between the head and tail to encircle the enemy. To break this formation, attacking only the head or tail is ineffective; the head, tail, and belly must all be attacked simultaneously. Wang Bingzheng dispatched seven armies to attack from seven points, expecting the formation to crumble. However, Hu Da's formation was ingenious, offering numerous variations, and each section could form its own independent array, creating immense difficulties for the attackers. This led to a protracted battle at Fengcheng Pass that lasted over a month.
This small area became a graveyard for soldiers.
While the battle raged, Duan Qi in Yecheng continued his debauchery with Zhao Chan, oblivious to the impending doom.
As Duan Qi's time with Zhao Chan lengthened, he grew weary. Zhao Chan then ordered Duan Qi to issue an edict to local officials around the capital, ordering each county to select ten beautiful women to fill the palace. In reality, Zhao Chan didn't want them to compete with her for favor. Instead, she had Duan Qi choose a beautiful woman each time, and Zhao Chan would help him use all sorts of lewd methods to play with her before sending her to the Leopard Garden.
One day, Duan Qi again ordered a eunuch to go to the palace where the beauties lived to select a stunningly beautiful woman to serve him.
A girl of seventeen or eighteen years old appeared, introducing herself as Wang Huimei. She was tall, with a slender waist and full hips, an oval face, willow-leaf eyebrows, a straight nose, almond-shaped eyes, and teeth like pearls—very attractive.
Such beautiful women were not uncommon in the palace, but this woman's face revealed a melancholy air, yet also an indescribable heroic spirit, which greatly moved Duan Qi.
Every time Duan Qi played with a woman, Zhao Chan was by his side. Even when Duan Qi summoned other concubines to serve him, Zhao Chan would always intervene, firstly to prevent Duan Qi from falling for someone else, and secondly because she could help position the woman in the most novel and lewd positions possible for Duan Qi's amusement.
This time was no different. When Duan Qi saw Wang Huimei arrive, he ordered the eunuchs to leave, then walked forward with Zhao Chan, offering words of comfort while simultaneously attempting to grope her.
Suddenly, Wang Huimei pulled a pair of scissors from her bosom and stabbed Duan Qi in the throat.
What will become of Duan Qi? We'll find out in the next chapter.

Chapter Fifty-Four—Wang Huimei's Assassination in the Forbidden Palace, Emperor Zhenwen's Killing of a Beauty in the Leopard Garden

. Speaking of Duan Qi, just as he was about to enjoy Wang Huimei's beautiful body, she suddenly pulled out a pair of scissors and stabbed him in the throat.
Duan Qi was startled and didn't know what to do. Zhao Chan pushed him away, and the scissors only grazed Duan Qi's ear, but it terrified him so much that he wet his pants and trembled all over, taking a long time to recover.
Zhao Chan then stopped Wang Huimei, and the two began to fight. Zhao Chan's martial arts skills were originally quite good, and the two could barely fight to a draw. However, Wang Huimei had a knife, while Zhao Chan was unarmed, so Wang Huimei should have had a slight advantage. Unfortunately, Wang Huimei's mind was entirely on Duan Qi, so the two remained evenly matched. Zhao Chan glanced at Duan Qi standing blankly to one side and hurriedly shouted, "Your Majesty, quickly call for help!"
Duan Qi then realized what was happening and ran to open the door of the palace, sending eunuchs to fetch the guards.
Knowing there was an assassin, the eunuchs went to fetch the palace guards while others grabbed sticks and other weapons and came to the door, shouting to bolster their courage. This actually frightened Wang Huimei, who, seeing the sticks at the door, dared not rush out easily; otherwise, she would have had a good chance to escape.
Soon, a group of palace guards arrived at the palace, trapping Wang Huimei inside, making escape impossible.
Wang Huimei fought bravely against the guards, but was eventually outnumbered. One of the guards kicked her in the buttocks from behind, and she fell face-first into the mud on the ground. The guards rushed over, pinned her down, and tied her up tightly.
Duan Qi dared to enter only then, ordering Wang Huimei to be dragged up and forced to kneel. He then asked, "Who are you, and why did you attempt to assassinate me?"
Wang Huimei, her face filled with resentment, replied, "I am Wang Huimei, daughter of Wang Keji, a scholar of the Hanlin Academy. You tyrant, you have insulted my wife and murdered my entire family! I wish I could eat your flesh and drink your blood. Unfortunately, my skills are insufficient, and I have failed to avenge this."
Duan Qi then understood what had happened and shouted, "You audacious Wang Huimei! Don't you know that the crime of regicide is punishable by slow slicing and the extermination of your entire family?" "
Tyrant, what crime did my parents commit to deserve such a calamity? Now I am all alone. Since you have captured me, do with me as you please!"
Zhao Chan said, "Wang Huimei, besides you, who else is your accomplice?"
“Even three-year-olds outside know that Duan Qi is a tyrannical and incompetent ruler. They are all my accomplices. I don’t believe you can kill everyone in the world.”
Duan Qi said, “My wife, why bother arguing with her? Send her to the authorities for questioning and then have her executed.”
Zhao Chan said, “I just want to know how this wretch managed to sneak into the palace.”
“In that case, my wife, please ask.”
Wang Huimei said, “No need to ask. You, my tyrant, want each county to select women to enter the palace. No one wants to send their daughters to the palace to accompany you. I found a family surnamed Wang and volunteered to send their daughters to the palace. What’s so difficult about that?”
Duan Qi said, “My wife, she has confessed. Send her to the authorities for punishment.”
Zhao Chan said, “Is it possible that Your Majesty would be willing to let such a beautiful woman go to those commoners?”
"I almost forgot, that's right. Let her stay in the palace to feed my leopards."
Zhao Chan ordered Duan Qi to send men to investigate the county magistrate who had presented Wang Huimei to the palace, as well as the Wang family she had impersonated. They were all arrested, and the Wang family's daughter and the magistrate's two daughters were locked up in the palace. The rest were executed as accomplices. Once
the three women were in the palace, Duan Qi ordered the eunuchs to strip them barefoot, tie them up, and take them to his own bedchamber. Duan Qi raped all three women with a single shot, then threw them into the leopards' lair, where they instantly turned into a pile of white bones.
Zhao Chan then ordered the eunuchs to select more palace maids to serve the emperor in his bedchamber. They were first stripped barefoot, then their hands and feet were tied to the four corners of a door panel and carried to Duan Qi for his enjoyment.
After all, they would be used to feed the tigers and leopards after being raped.
In this way, another assassin was discovered, but he was not caught. That day, the eunuch went and selected a palace maid who was about the same age as Wang Huimei and also very beautiful. Just as he was about to strip her of her clothes, the woman punched him repeatedly, knocking him to the ground and running away onto the roof. Hearing the commotion, the guards chased after her to Duan Qi's palace. Seeing that there were too many of them, the woman couldn't attack and seized the opportunity to escape. Duan Qi immediately issued an edict ordering all prefectures and counties to draw up her portrait and capture the assassin. Then, they investigated the assassin's origins. Her name was Feng Xiaoyu, and she also came from the same county. By this time, the county magistrate's entire family had been executed, and even the woman's origins were unknown, thus sparing another family from suffering.
Zhao Chan hurriedly brought Wang Huimei in for questioning. This time, Wang Huimei didn't hide anything and told the whole story.
It turned out that Feng Xiaoyu was Feng Guozhong's granddaughter and Feng Qing's cousin, and she and Wang Huimei were disciples of the same master.
When news of their families' misfortunes reached the mountains, the two women ignored their master's advice and insisted on going down to seek revenge. Upon arriving in the capital, they were worried about how to get into the palace to approach Duan Qi. Just then, Duan Qi was recruiting beauties throughout the capital, causing unrest in the surrounding villages. The two women each found a family with the same surname and whose daughters were on the beauty pageant list, offering to go to the palace in their place. These families were more than happy to oblige, so they readily agreed.
Since swords and knives were forbidden in the palace, the two women used scissors, meant for sewing, as weapons to assassinate Duan Qi.
Wang Huimei was chosen first, but she was captured without revealing Feng Xiaoyu's name, hoping for another chance. However, Zhao Chan's method was insidious, completely thwarting Feng Xiaoyu's assassination plan. She was forced to defeat the eunuchs and use her light-footed skills to find Duan Qi's palace, but was cornered by the guards and had to escape. She later sought refuge with Feng Qing, but that's another story.
Zhao Chan ordered the eunuchs to strip Wang Huimei of her clothes, tie her up, and place her on the bed. She personally held down Wang Huimei's body and used a silver needle to pierce Wang Huimei's vital points, then ordered Duan Qi to rape her.
Wang Huimei lay on the bed, her legs bound and raised upwards, revealing her small anus and vulva half-covered by black hair. The tyrannical Duan Qi wantonly played with her, causing her face to turn red and her eyes to fill with tears. She cursed Duan Qi and Zhao Chan's ancestors for eight generations.
But in the end, she could not escape the humiliation. The tyrannical emperor targeted her vulva and thrust his penis into her, breaking her chastity of more than ten years.
After the rape was over, Duan Qi ordered the eunuchs to carry Wang Huimei to the Leopard Garden, untie her ropes, and throw her there.
By this time, Zhao Chan had crippled Wang Huimei's martial arts with silver needles; aside from being slightly more agile than an average woman, she could no longer exert any strength or scale walls. She sat motionless in the Leopard Garden.
Duan Qi and Zhao Chan watched from outside, imagining how the tigers and leopards would pounce on her, bite her throat, and suffocate her. They imagined her beautiful body writhing and struggling in their jaws, her legs kicking wildly, exposing her newly broken vulva, and how the tigers and leopards would tear open her belly, pull out her intestines, and devour them, finding pleasure in it.
But to their surprise, when the tigers and leopards saw Wang Huimei, they surrounded her but did not attack her. Their eyes showed no trace of their former ferocity; instead, they lay down around her, some even nudging her with their noses. They were greatly alarmed.
It turned out that Wang Huimei and Feng Xiaoyu had lived in the mountains with their master since childhood, spending their days among wolves, insects, tigers, and leopards. Therefore, they were very familiar with the habits of wild animals. Over time, she also developed an aura that wild animals didn't possess, making her approachable. So, the tigers and leopards didn't treat her as an ordinary person, but rather as one of their own.
Seeing this, Zhao Chan quickly ordered the eunuchs to drive the tigers and leopards away, but the wild animals surrounded Wang Huimei and refused to leave. Finally, Zhao Chan had to personally intervene, wielding a torch and forcefully driving away some of these fire-fearing creatures before finally dragging Wang Huimei out of the leopard enclosure.
Wang Huimei, having lost her martial arts skills, knew she couldn't resist, so she didn't struggle, only looking at Duan Qi with a mocking and unyielding expression.
Duan Qi said, "My Lady, what should we do?"
Zhao Chan said, "Although this wretch has the skill to control tigers, as long as we slice her into pieces, those tigers and leopards will only see her as food."
Duan Qi said, "That's right, let's do as my Lady says."
Zhao Chan then ordered the eunuchs to find some ropes and logs. They soon brought them back. Zhao Chan ordered three logs to be bundled together to make two tripods. She also took a white waxwood pole used as a shovel handle, sharpened one end, and handed it to Duan Qi, saying, "Your Majesty, skewer this wretch so we can slice her flesh to feed the tigers."
Duan Qi was overjoyed and quickly took the white waxwood pole. Zhao Chan held Wang Huimei down, making her lie face down on the ground, still bound behind her back. She sat on Wang Huimei's waist, pulled her legs back, exposing her vulva, making it impossible for her to struggle.
Duan Qi then took the white waxwood pole and pointed the sharp end at Wang Huimei's vulva. Knowing she was about to be impaled and executed, Wang Huimei screamed in terror and cursed incessantly.
Duan Qi forcefully thrust the white waxwood stick deeper, more than a foot in, and Wang Huimei howled like a ghost. Zhao Chan, while ordering Duan Qi to continue thrusting, grabbed Wang Huimei's head by her long hair and pulled it up, forcing the white waxwood stick out of her throat. Duan Qi continued pushing the stick until the exposed ends were roughly the same length.
Zhao Chan stood up; Wang Huimei was now completely immobile, only trembling violently.
Zhao Chan tied Wang Huimei's feet to the white waxwood stick, then had the eunuchs lift her up, placing the two ends of the stick on two tripods.
Zhao Chan ordered a eunuch to fetch a sharp dagger and handed it to Duan Qi, then personally turned Wang Huimei over, belly up. Impaled by the stick, Wang Huimei was in excruciating pain, her eyes filled with resentment, but she could not move.
Duan Qi took a knife and plunged it into her abdomen, cutting once more up to above her pubic bone. He then ripped open her belly, pulling out her heart, liver, and other internal organs, which he emptied into a large wooden basin. Wang Huimei died with her eyes wide open, filled with resentment.
Duan Qi ordered the entrails to be thrown into the garden, and sure enough, the tigers and leopards came to devour them.
Duan Qi then cut off Wang Huimei's breasts, followed by her labia. He then turned her inside out and began cutting from her buttocks, throwing off pieces of flesh as he went, until only the skeleton remained. Only then did he throw the wooden sticks into the garden, watching the tigers and leopards devour them.
Meanwhile, Feng Xiaoyu escaped the palace and spread the news of Duan Qi's rape and murder of the tribute beauties far and wide. Immediately, people in the vicinity of the capital fled, and internal strife intensified.
When the news reached the front lines, the Seven Stars Coiling Dragon Formation had just been broken. Hu Da shook his head and said, "We fought desperately here to protect our vast land, but this scoundrel is so wicked! It's not that I, Hu Da, haven't done my best, but your children are useless! What can I do? What can I do?"
We don't know how the battle at Fengcheng Pass went; let's find out in the next chapter.

Chapter Fifty-Five—The Two Families Clash at Fengcheng Pass, Wang Bingzheng Breaks the Coiling Dragon Formation.

It is said that Wang Bingzheng and Feng Qing broke the Seven Stars Coiling Dragon Formation. These two marshals, along with more than ten generals, charged straight at Hu Da's army.
Hu Da's forces also assembled the nation's elite. Besides Zhang Haitao, Liu Ziyu, and the female generals Zhang Mudan, Wang Juhua, Li Yueji, and Zhao Shuixian, whom we've already seen, there were also Wang Qifang, Zhou Quangong, Ma Delong, Ma Dehu, Ma Debiao, Ma Debao, Huo Zhengdao, Huo Zhenliang, He Yunpeng, and Wu Shanyun—a total of sixteen generals. These generals were paired up to guard seven sub-formations. Once the weapon formation was broken, they would return to the soldier formation, forming the seven links of the Panlong Formation.
Originally, the sub-formations guarded by these sixteen generals were fixed, but with the formation diagram lost, Hu Da feared that Wang Bingzheng would exploit his weaknesses by assigning generals based on their individual strengths. Therefore, he adjusted the personnel, changing the battle formation.
First, He Yuanlong and Pei Feng passed through the weapon formation of the Tian Shu Formation and headed straight for the soldier formation. The original guards were Zhang Haitao and Liu Ziyu, but now they were replaced by the female generals Zhang Mudan and Wang Juhua.
Upon seeing He Yuanlong's approach, the two female generals immediately commanded their soldiers to form a small coiled dragon formation. Zhang Mudan guarded the dragon's head, Wang Juhua guarded the dragon's tail, and two deputy generals guarded the dragon's waist. The formation, in a U-shape, circled around He Yuanlong and his men.
During previous training, Wang Ruowang had already explained the defensive principles of the formation to his generals: to counter a long snake formation, both ends must be attacked simultaneously to prevent a coordinated attack. Therefore, upon seeing this, He Yuanlong immediately ordered Pei Feng to attack the dragon's tail, and several of his deputy generals to attack the dragon's waist, while he himself went straight for the dragon's head. A fierce battle ensued.
Because of He Yuanlong's fierce attack, the enemy's formation was disrupted, creating a chaotic situation where each side was intertwined with the other. The soldiers at the key points of the formation were unable to command, and the formation broke. The government troops were forced to fight desperately.
Zhang Mudan was about twenty-five or twenty-six years old. She had a beautiful face and a slender yet strong figure. She wielded a steel spear and stood up to He Yuanlong without any fear. Wang Juhua was about the same age as Zhang Mudan and was equally beautiful. She wielded an embroidered phoenix knife and was very imposing.
Two pairs of men and two pairs of women, fighting fiercely on the battlefield, shouted and yelled, creating a scene of chaos.
The battle raged until the morning of the next day, with both sides suffering over ten thousand casualties, leaving the battlefield a scene of utter devastation. At this critical moment, He Yuanlong's deputy general, having gained a numerical advantage, gradually seized the initiative. Soon, one of the government troops' deputy generals was killed in a miscalculation, and another was immediately unhorsed; a coiled dragon was severed in half.
The victorious deputy general led his troops to attack from both ends of the dragon's waist. The government troops collapsed like a house of cards, scattering and fleeing in disarray.
Zhang Mudan shouted several times, but could not stop her fleeing men. Knowing that she could no longer hold her position, she tried to signal Wang Juhua to retreat, but due to her lack of concentration, her movements became chaotic.
Seeing his chance, He Yuanlong swung his axe, aiming straight for Zhang Mudan's head. Zhang Mudan hurriedly tried to block with her spear, but He Yuanlong's axe spun around, cleaving her slender waist in two.
Hearing Zhang Mudan's scream, Wang Juhua knew the situation was hopeless. She used a diversionary tactic, drawing Pei Feng's attention to one side while turning her horse to the other to escape. However, she was no match for Pei Feng's swift hammer.
Seeing Wang Juhua trying to escape, Pei Feng unleashed a flying hammer attack, releasing the hammer in her right hand and sending it arcing through the air towards the back of Wang Juhua's head. Hearing the whoosh, Wang Juhua instinctively ducked forward and spurred her horse, hoping to dodge the attack. However, unaware that it was a flying hammer, she dodged the blow to her head but not her body. The iron hammer struck her squarely in the back, shattering her breastplate and breaking several ribs. The broken ribs pierced her heart, killing her instantly. She fell from her horse, and the Tian Shu Formation was broken.
He Yuanlong ordered his men to pursue and kill for a while before intending to assist Zhu Mei in the second battle. He found that the battle of the Tian Xuan Formation, led by Zhu Mei and her two generals, had ended, and the government forces had won. The bodies of the two female generals were hung on flagpoles as a warning.
Seeing that his soldiers were exhausted and Zhu Mei and her two generals were dead, He Yuanlong decided to withdraw his troops, deeming further assistance pointless. After cleaning up the battlefield, they suffered over 10,000 casualties, but captured over 20,000 enemy soldiers, and over 10,000 surrendered, so they didn't lose out. They even killed two enemy generals, two deputy generals, and several lieutenant generals and guards.
Now, let's talk about the second group, Zhu Mei and Qi Lan, who were responsible for attacking the Tianxuan Formation. Originally, the formation was led by Zhang Mudan and Wang Juhua, but now it was led by the brothers Ma Delong and Ma Dehu.
Ma Delong had two brothers, all of whom were skilled with spears, possessing great strength and heavy spears, and were all generals with outstanding military achievements. This time, they were assigned to guard the Tianxuan Formation and the Tianji Formation respectively.
In the Tianxuan Formation, the eldest brother Ma Delong and the second brother Ma Dehu were in charge.
As soon as Zhu Mei and Qi Lan entered the formation, they followed the method taught by Wang Ruowang, splitting their forces into three groups to attack the enemy's Xiaopanlong Formation. Zhu Mei fought Ma Delong, Qi Lan fought Ma Dehu, and the deputy generals attacked the dragon's waist.
In terms of strength, Zhu Mei and her men were superior. The battle raged until midnight, with both sides suffering over half their casualties. Zhu Mei plucked off Ma Delong's helmet with a single spear thrust. Startled, Ma Delong cried out and turned to flee. Zhu Mei caught up, aiming her spear at Ma Delong's back. However, fate was unkind to the female general. At that very moment, her warhorse, having stepped on a pool of blood, slipped and stumbled, throwing Zhu Mei to the ground.
Zhu Mei, clad in heavy armor, was unable to rise in her haste. Ma Delong, overjoyed, turned and thrust his spear, striking Zhu Mei squarely in the abdomen. Zhu Mei screamed in agony as Ma Delong lifted her into the air, held her high, and then flung her to the ground. She tumbled a few times before collapsing dead.
Having taken Zhu Mei, Ma Delong led his men towards Qi Lan, who was engaged in fierce combat with Ma Dehu. With the dragon's head no longer restrained, Ma Delong was able to unleash the full power of the long snake formation, trapping Feng Qing's troops.
After a short while, Feng Qing's lieutenants were evenly matched with Ma Delong's lieutenants, but all of Feng Qing's men had been killed, leaving only Qi Lan.
The Ma brothers surrounded Qi Lan, giving her no chance to breathe, and repeatedly urged her to surrender.
Qi Lan knew that if captured, she would lose her chastity. Taking advantage of Ma Dehu's thrust at her chest, she neither dodged nor evaded, nor allowed him to pierce her breast. Instead, she turned her body, using her vulnerable side to meet the attack. Ma Dehu, caught off guard, couldn't retract his attack in time, and the spear pierced Qi Lan's left rib, penetrating to her right, killing her instantly.
Ma Dehu had killed Qi Lan, and the government army achieved a great victory, but also suffered over 20,000 casualties.
The third force, led by Feng Qing, consisted of Yue Ling, Liu Zhu, and Qin Ju, who attacked the Heavenly Mystery Formation. The original formation diagram indicated the presence of four Ma brothers, but upon entering, only Ma Debiao and Ma Debao remained. The battle was swift and decisive. Feng Qing and Yue Ling attacked the dragon's head, while Liu Zhu and Qin Ju attacked its tail. After only a day's fighting, Yue Ling pierced Ma Debiao with a spear, and Liu Zhu severed half of Ma Debao's head with a single blow.
The fourth force consisted of Wang Yinping and Wang Xiaojiao attacking the Yao Guang Formation, defended by the brothers Huo Zhengdao and Huo Zhengliang.
Each brother wielded a pair of iron halberds, fighting the Wang sisters. From morning till evening, the battle was evenly matched. They fought through the night until morning, still without a clear victor. Both sides were exhausted and unable to continue. They sounded the retreat, each taking their own half of the battlefield, setting up camp, and preparing to eat before resuming the fight.
The fifth force consisted of Guan Yuan and Ding Qi attacking the Kaiyang Formation, defended by Wang Qifang and Zhou Quangong. These two wielded double maces and double whips, respectively, and were exceptionally skilled in martial arts.
A fierce battle ensued, lasting until midnight, when Guan Yuan, with a single stroke, cleaved Wang Qifang in two, shoulder and back. Just as Guan Yuan was about to assist Ding Qi, Zhou Quangong struck Ding Qi on the head with his whip, sending countless peach blossoms flying. Guan Yuan was left to fight Zhou Quangong alone. The battle raged until noon the next day, when both sides withdrew to their camps and prepare meals.
The sixth force consisted of Gu Feng and Ke Liang attacking the Yuheng Formation, defended by He Yunpeng and Wushan Yun. The two wielded large iron rakes and hammers, respectively, and were renowned for their bravery.
Gu Feng entered the formation, using a convenient chain shovel to fight He Yunpeng, while Ke Liang wielded an eight-sided purple-gold hammer, engaging Wushan Yun in combat.
Gu Feng's shovel and He Yunpeng's large iron rake were both rare weapons, and their fighting styles were naturally bizarre. The two men clashed with each other in strange ways, creating a perilous situation. Meanwhile, Ke Liang's hammer and Wu Shanyun's halberd relied on brute force, making them equally formidable opponents.
The battle raged past midnight before a victor emerged. Gu Feng, caught off guard, was grabbed from behind by He Yunpeng's large iron rake, which instantly pierced nine large, bloody holes in him. He cried out in pain, was pulled off his horse by He Yunpeng, and then struck him on the head with the rake, killing him instantly.
Ke Liang's hammer, however, was heavier than Wu Shanyun's halberd, and the difference became apparent at the last moment. He Liang smashed Wu Shanyun's halberd with his hammer, knocking the weapon from his hand, and then struck him on the head, smashing it to pieces.
Ke Liang then engaged He Yunpeng in fierce combat until both were exhausted and withdrew their weapons.
The seventh route, led by Wang Bingzheng, Wang Ke, Wang Jun, Cao Yunlong, Pang Qi, and Han Sumei, stormed into the Tianquan Formation within the inner city. They encountered Grand Tutor Hu Da, with Zhang Haitao, Liu Ziyu, Li Yueji, and Zhao Shuixian following behind.
This route featured the strongest forces on both sides. Wang Ke and Wang Jun fought Zhang Haitao and Liu Ziyu, while Cao Yunlong and Pang Qi fought Li Yueji and Zhao Shuixian. Hu Da, however, fought alone against Wang Bingzheng and Han Sumei. The battle raged for a day and a night without any significant gains, and both sides eventually withdrew.
The first battle concluded with gains for both sides. Overall, the allied forces had a slight advantage, breaking through two formations, while the government forces won one decisively.
Due to the heavy losses on both sides, they rested and prepared provisions and weapons, preparing for further battles. They also boasted of their spoils, attempting to intimidate the other side.
The heads of the slain generals from both sides were cut off and displayed on high poles, with special attention paid to the bodies of the female generals.
First, let's talk about the Ma brothers. After winning the first battle, the whole team returned to the camp. On one hand, they sent soldiers to strengthen the defense in preparation for an enemy attack, and on the other hand, they ordered their soldiers to drag the bodies of Zhu Mei and Qi Lan to the front of the camp gate.
After the two female generals were killed, the Ma brothers ordered their soldiers to strip the two female generals naked, tie them to the back of horses, and drag them back to the main camp.
As they passed, the soldiers saw two female generals with their bare buttocks exposed in mid-air, their anuses and genitals exposed. They all reached out and groped and scratched their buttocks, the two poor women suffering this torment.
Upon reaching the gate, the Ma brothers ordered their soldiers to prepare two three-foot-long wooden sticks. They personally tied the two women's hands to the ends of the sticks, secured them with ropes from the gate's flagpole, and then untied them from their horses. They pulled on the ropes, slowly suspending the two women in mid-air.
Seeing that the women's feet were hanging two feet off the ground, the Ma brothers ordered the soldiers to stop pulling. Then, in front of all the soldiers, they examined the women's wounds.
Zhu Mei's abdomen had been ripped open, her intestines spilling out and hanging in front of her.
Ma Delong ordered ropes to be brought and used to tie up Zhu Mei's abdomen, preventing the intestines from spilling out further.
Qi Lan died from a spear piercing her chest, leaving only two bloody holes in her ribs; her internal organs didn't spill out.
Ma Delong seized Zhu Mei, while Ma Dehu guarded Qi Lan. He then slowly fondled her breasts, pinched her buttocks, and even dug into their genitals and anuses, getting his hands covered in excrement—stinking and utterly disgusting.
Ma Delong ordered his soldiers to find wooden sticks to insert into the two women's vaginas as a form of humiliation, and then hang them from the top of the poles.
Ma Delong also ordered the corpses of dozens of female soldiers to be stripped bare and hung by their necks at the gates of each camp.
Meanwhile, He Yuanlong and Pei Feng, seeing the corpses of Zhu and Qi, were filled with rage and also defiled the corpses of Zhang Mudan and Wang Juhua.
What will happen next in the battle? Stay tuned for the next chapter.
