He tried to struggle to his feet and rush over to confront the woman again, but it was all in vain against the two burly thugs.
Finally, he took down five more security guards. Li Weijie's ferocity made the others uneasy. He glared at Ge Lingling, turned around and left, and the security guards next to him did not stop him.
It started raining heavily outside sometime earlier. The raindrops pounded down with a loud thud, and the rainwater, mixed with muddy slurry, carrying tattered plastic packaging and discolored tissues, rushed into the sewer openings.
People passing by were busy trying to avoid the rain and hurried towards the parking lot. Li Weijie stood in the heavy rain, letting the wind and rain beat down on him, and no one paid him any attention.
Li Weijie staggered back to the car, soaked to the bone. The pouring rain quickly formed two small puddles at his feet.
