For treatment of privacy-related diseases, you must go to a reputable large hospital.

Friendly reminder: A few months ago, I noticed a small bump on my glans penis while on a business trip. After returning home two weeks later, I found another small bump that had just started to show a whitehead. Because I had unprotected sex recently, I'm terrified it might be genital warts. I've searched online for a long time, and I'm extremely scared and panicked. I don't dare tell anyone, and I'm even more afraid my wife will find out.
The next morning, I went to the local men's clinic. The doctor took one look and said I had typical genital warts. He gave me a referral and told me to pay for the tests. Half an hour after the blood was drawn, the doctor called me into the room and said the test results were in, confirming that I was HPV positive and needed immediate treatment. He kept explaining the consequences and effects of not treating the disease promptly.
When I heard the doctor say that, I was completely stunned. I didn't even think about why they wouldn't give me the test results; the doctor just took them away. The doctor wrote a prescription for the medications on the table and told me to start an IV drip, saying it was to boost my immunity and control the virus's reproduction. After three days of IV drips, I would have surgery to remove the warts. I also had to use a magnetic field device every day, supposedly for sterilization, disinfection, and boosting immunity (I later remembered the name of the device and looked it up online; it's for treating prostate problems).
On the third day after the IV drip was finished, the doctor scheduled surgery to burn off the warts with a laser. Before the surgery, I had to undergo another treatment, which involved inserting a root canal into the urethra for heat therapy. After that, I went into the operating room for the laser surgery.
Back in the clinic after the surgery, the doctor said I needed to continue IV fluids for another 5 to 7 days. My goodness! The mental stress of those three days was immense, and the financial burden was overwhelming. The daily IV cost 270 yuan, the magnetic field device was 400 yuan per day, the surgery on the third day cost 680 yuan, anesthesia 65 yuan, and the consultation fee 1614 yuan; the urethral catheterization procedure cost 800 yuan, materials 630 yuan, and medication 165.5 yuan. Not counting registration and blood tests, those three days cost me nearly 6000 yuan, and I still need to continue IV fluids… With my pockets dwindling, I decided to stop the IVs.
A few days later, I suddenly noticed a very inconspicuous small bump, exactly the same as the one on the frenulum below the glans. Terrified, I thought it was a recurrence of genital warts due to neglecting treatment, so I immediately went to the dermatology department of a top-tier hospital near my home. Feeling both annoyed and scared, I waited in line for forty minutes. Once in the examination room, the doctor examined it, applied some acetic acid to the bump with a cotton swab, and after a few minutes, said that it was basically ruled out as genital warts; it was genital herpes. He explained that my foreskin was a bit long, and if I didn't clean it carefully, it was prone to inflammation and herpes. He said it didn't require treatment. If I was still concerned, I could have a blood test and a pathological examination.
Holding the lab report from the second test, looking at the row of negative marks, I felt a mix of excitement, gratitude, and anger! Excited that I hadn't contracted the dreaded genital warts; grateful for the responsible doctor at the top-tier hospital; and furious at the unscrupulous doctor at that men's health clinic that advertised so prominently!
Brothers, when you see a doctor, make sure to go to a reputable hospital. Don't believe the advertisements on TV or the internet!! More importantly, when you have a one-night stand, look for a part-time job, or go to a bathhouse, always use a condom and take proper precautions!!
