Health benefits of A-cup bust

Recent research indicates that having a smaller bust size offers several health benefits, besides not increasing back and waist strain. The *Canadian Medical Association Journal* cited a study conducted by Harvard University and the University of Toronto across 14 US states, involving over 92,000 young to middle-aged women. The study showed that women with an A-cup bra size have a lower risk of developing type 2 diabetes (type 2 diabetes is caused by insulin resistance, leading to insufficient insulin secretion and effectiveness). B-cup women have a 1.41 times higher risk of type 2 diabetes than A-cup women, while D-cup women have a 1.71 times higher risk. Women with a D-cup bra size at age 20 should be especially careful, as their risk is up to three times higher than A-cup girls (the study took into account family history, dietary habits, etc.). University of Toronto professor and St. Michael's Hospital internist Joel Ray explained that insulin resistance is more pronounced during puberty in girls. Generally, in healthy young people, these insulin resistance symptoms disappear after puberty. However, if the body cannot effectively absorb glucose, blood sugar levels will gradually rise, becoming a potential trigger for type 2 diabetes. Ray points out that breast size is, of course, related to body size (BMI). It's natural that overweight women have more breast fat, making them appear larger. Therefore, women with a normal BMI and full breasts don't need to worry about their health solely because of their bust size.
