[Fantasy] Treasure Cauldron (Complete) - 8

Chapter Fifteen:

When Poison Rose reached the protruding horizontal rock, she stopped running downhill.

Her expression suddenly froze, her heart filled with a mixture of surprise and joy!

The large, smooth rock was like a mirror, with the three large characters "Rouge Valley" deeply engraved on it.

Below the large characters was a line of smaller characters: "Unauthorized entry into Rouge Valley is strictly prohibited. Violators will be executed by the Heavenly Palm."

Poison Rose read these words, her heart filled with indescribable emotions.

She thought to herself, "I've finally found Rouge Valley, but I know the personality and martial arts skills of the Rouge Goddess. She wouldn't just make empty promises and write a few words here to intimidate people. If I want to get down to Rouge Valley, I'll have to fight the Goddess or her female disciple. It seems that once I enter the valley, every step will be fraught with danger."

However, she had said before that for Bao Hong, she would try even if it meant facing a mountain of knives and a forest of swords, let alone a few words carved on a rock!

So, she climbed the vines and stepped on the rocks, continuing her descent.

After what seemed like the time it takes to eat a meal, she reached the bottom of the valley.

It was past dusk.

The sky was gradually darkening.

She stood with her feet on the ground, leaning against the mountainside, closed her eyes to regulate her breathing for a while, then straightened her blue satin outfit and white satin cloak before heading towards the center of the valley.

In the darkness, she would be less likely to be noticed.

But she had never been to Rouge Valley before, and the route was unfamiliar. Where exactly was the Heart-Nourishing Cliff?

She had no idea!

The night was deep.

She groped her way forward aimlessly in the valley.

She hoped to find some movement, and use that movement to track down Bao Hong's whereabouts, or the location of the Heart-Nourishing Cliff.

But—she was disappointed.

Utterly disappointed.

She groped her way through the valley for the time it takes to eat two meals, but there was not a single human movement. Even the mountain wind had stopped; the entire Rouge Valley was as silent as a sleeping giant.

She walked for about the time it takes to drink a cup of tea.

But still, she found nothing!

She began to feel anxious.

Just then, suddenly—a gust of wind swept past her.

The wind ruffled her white satin cloak and also stirred her heartstrings. She quickly stopped and scanned her surroundings intently.

She saw—about four or five zhang away—two figures flickering and swaying, seemingly engaged in combat.

Her heart skipped a beat!

She thought to herself, "Could it be the Rouge Goddess and Bao Hong fighting? Who else would come to Rouge Valley to fight to the death? Judging from that gust of wind that swept past, it must have been the residual force of one of their palm strikes..." She paused

, then thought, "However, even from that distance, the residual force of the palm strike was still so strong; the person who struck must have incredibly powerful internal energy!" Before she could settle

her thoughts, she suddenly heard—two deep, cold laughs. Then—another flash of figures appeared

; the two had probably exchanged another blow.

Poison Rose, her heart set on Bao Hong, naturally wanted to see what was happening.

With lightning speed, she removed her white satin cloak, revealing her blue, fitted attire, which made her even less noticeable in the darkness.

Simultaneously, she crouched low, unleashing her unparalleled "Flying Serpent on Grass" lightness skill; her lithe body moved like a nimble snake, silently darting towards the two shadowy figures.

When she was about ten feet away from the two elusive shadows, Poison Rose abruptly stopped, staring intently ahead.

What she saw stunned her!

The two combatants were identical in clothing, appearance, and mannerisms.

The one on the left was none other than the purple-robed scholar, Zhong Yu, while the one on the right was dressed exactly like him, and seemed vaguely familiar, though she couldn't quite place him…

She racked her brains, trying to remember who this person was.

Suddenly, the purple-robed scholar Zhong Yu spoke in a low voice, "Lin Hanwen, I've already spared you three blows, fulfilling my duty as a fellow disciple. That's enough before our deceased master's spirit. From this moment on, if you don't tell the truth, don't blame me for being ruthless!"

Lin Hanwen sneered, "You can certainly kill me, but I cannot answer your questions. I didn't kill Bao Zhenwu's wife, Wen Shi."

Zhong Yu also smiled coldly, saying, "Not long ago, a young woman named Yun Niang overheard you calling yourself the purple-robed scholar and talking about killing Wen Shi twenty years ago in a tavern in Peach Blossom Spring. Are you still going to stubbornly deny it?" With that, he flipped his right palm and struck out.

The poisonous rose, hidden in the tall grass, was startled!

She watched as the purple-clad scholar, Lin Hanwen, dodged the palm strike, thinking to herself, "So this is the same purple-clad scholar I bumped into at the Peach Blossom Inn. No wonder he looked familiar!"

She paused, then thought, "But strangely, why doesn't he admit to killing Wen Shi?"

At that moment—Lin Hanwen had already dodged a fierce palm strike from the purple-clad scholar, Zhong Yu, and coldly said, "Twenty years have passed, and Senior Brother Zhong's martial arts have improved considerably. If I, Lin Hanwen, hadn't dodged quickly, this palm strike would have surely left me lying dead in Rouge Valley." He paused slightly, his expression extremely sorrowful.

Then he continued, "For those of us who roam the martial world, living on the edge of death every day, life and death are not a big deal. However, we must die with a clear conscience."

He paused again, then added, "Indeed, not long ago, I did identify myself as the purple-clad scholar at the Peach Blossom Inn and spoke of the tragic murder of the Three Strange Women of the Northeast twenty years ago, but I never said that I killed Wen Shi!"

Poison Rose was shocked again!

She thought to herself, "Yes! At that restaurant in Peach Blossom Spring, he didn't admit to killing Wen Shi. He only talked about the tragic events that happened to the Three Strange Women from beyond the Great Wall twenty years ago. It seems that if I don't show myself, one of my fellow disciples will suffer a tragic and unjust death." Just as she

finished thinking this, she was about to stand up.

But then—the purple-robed scholar Zhong Yu laughed fiercely, saying, "Rumors in the martial world say that not only did the purple-robed scholar kill the Jade-Faced Fox and Wen Shi, two of the Three Strange Women from beyond the Great Wall, twenty years ago, but today, twenty years later, this purple-robed scholar is again committing evil deeds in the martial world, committing crimes everywhere."

He suppressed his anger, paused, and then continued, "The Two-Finger Sword and the Supreme Sword Manual, relics of the Supreme Venerable Tian Fengyun of the Supreme Cave, were also stolen by the purple-robed scholar. I, Zhong Yu, swear on my life that I didn't do these heinous things. How could you possibly believe that?" "Could it be that a third purple-robed scholar will emerge in the martial world?"

He paused slightly, then continued, "Li Hou has ordered his adopted son, Bao Hong, to enter the martial world and investigate our origins. Bao Hong was the first to come to my Yin Tao Manor. If Yun Niang hadn't intervened in time, my son Yan Fei and I would almost have been injured by him. Even if we hadn't died, we would have been sworn enemies. To show my resolve and clear up this misunderstanding, I must get you to tell the truth. Otherwise, tonight it's either you or me who dies!" With that, he clasped his hands together and unleashed three consecutive palm strikes.

"Whoosh...whoosh...whoosh..."

Lin Hanwen's figure swayed, dodging the three fierce blows. He was answering questions while simultaneously displaying his skills to fight his senior brother to the death.

Before he could speak, Poison Rose, who had been hiding in the grass, suddenly stood up, blocking the path between the purple-robed scholar Zhong Yu and Lin Hanwen, and shouted, "Please stop, esteemed elders!"

The two scholars in purple robes, Zhong Yu and Lin Hanwen, were completely absorbed in their conversation and combat, unaware of Poison Rose's approach.

Now, Poison Rose suddenly stood up, blocking their path. The two were startled and each took three large steps back, frozen in place.

They were unaware of the underground tunnels in Rouge Valley, and that she had emerged from one of them.

Poison Rose realized the scholars were surprised by her sudden appearance.

So, she smiled sweetly, revealing her pearly teeth, and said, "Seniors, please don't doubt me. I've been hiding in the grass, listening for quite some time."

"Oh..."

Zhong Yu and Lin Hanwen both paused, simultaneously uttering a soft "Oh."

However, neither of them replied.

Poison Rose, still smiling, turned to Zhong Yu and said, "Senior Zhong, I did hear Senior Lin talking to others about the tragic events that befell the three extraordinary women beyond the Great Wall twenty years ago at the Peach Blossom Spring Restaurant, but I didn't hear that he killed Heroine Wen Shi."

She paused, then added, "Based on my speculation, if neither of you killed Heroine Wen Shi, then as you say, could it be that a third Purple-Clad Scholar has appeared in the martial world?"

But—who is this person?

Who could it be?

Currently, no one knows!

In an instant—confusion and bewilderment appeared on the faces of Zhong Yu, Lin Hanwen, and Poison Rose.

Suddenly—two long howls pierced

the night sky. Then—figures flashed across the night.

In an instant, five people descended from the sky.

At the same time—a gust of wind struck the back of the Purple-Clad Scholar, Zhong Yu. Zhong Yu, quick-witted as ever, sensed something amiss, and with a swift movement, he dodged the incoming gust of wind, turning to look.

Suddenly, the five people who had descended from the sky separated and surrounded Zhong Yu, Lin Hanwen, and Poison Rose.

Leading them was the Rouge Goddess Xia Xuexin, with her beloved disciple Qiu Miaoxiang standing to her left. The other three were all handsome young men dressed in black robes, their identities from Rouge Valley unknown.

The sudden arrival of the Rouge Goddess and her four companions, while somewhat expected by Zhong Yu, Lin Hanwen, and Poison Rose, still left them somewhat astonished.

Poison Rose, in particular, felt a sense of unease and surprise.

Because—Bao Hong was not among the five who had descended.

Clearly, he had been invited by Qiu Miaoxiang, sent by the Rouge Goddess, and after a disagreement, he was either injured or imprisoned by the Rouge Goddess in Yangxin Cliff…

Just as she was worrying, she suddenly heard—

the purple-robed scholar Zhong Yu sneer, saying, “Taking advantage of someone’s unpreparedness to launch a surprise attack, aren’t you afraid of losing your status in the martial arts world, Rouge Goddess?”

The Rouge Goddess’s face remained expressionless, and she smiled coldly, saying, “Trespassing on forbidden grounds, violating a major taboo in the martial arts world, what martial arts rules do you have to listen to?” The

purple-robed scholar raised his head and let out a sharp roar, shouting loudly, “Fine! Since that’s the case, then all five of you come at me!”

At the entrance of Rouge Valley, he and Qiu Miaoxiang had already fought for a long time, and not only was he not confident of victory, but the situation had also become extremely dangerous!

Now, the reason he was speaking so arrogantly was only because his junior brother Lin Hanwen and Poison Rose were present. The

usually extremely cold and arrogant Rouge Goddess, provoked by his words, could not bear it any longer, and a layer of frost immediately appeared on her beautiful face.

But she said coldly, "There's no need for a group attack on you, Zhong Yu. Try taking a few of my blows first."

Before she could even make a move,

suddenly—a figure staggered towards her in the deep night.

Poison Rose, thinking of Bao Hong, was constantly watching his movements.

She assumed this staggering figure was Bao Hong, injured by the people of Rouge Valley, rushing towards her at the sound. Her brows furrowed, and her heart pounded wildly.

The newcomer was about the same height as Bao Hong, and their builds were remarkably similar. In the darkness, the more Poison Rose looked, the more it resembled him. Startled, she cried out, "Bao, my husband, what's wrong?"

With that, she lunged forward towards the staggering figure.

Unexpectedly—before she had gone more than two zhang, the Rouge Goddess's jade finger flashed, and a powerful force struck her.

Hearing the sound of a powerful force piercing the air behind her, Poison Rose was startled. She leaped sharply to the left, soaring about three zhang into the air.

Although she had dodged the palm strike, she couldn't shake off the relentless, ever-present Rouge Shaman!

The Rouge Shaman pressed close behind, her right palm retracting swiftly while her left palm struck repeatedly towards Poison Rose's back.

Her skill was refined, her fists and palms moving with incredible speed, forcing Poison Rose to abandon any further attention to the staggering black figure approaching. She had no choice but to abruptly turn her body to meet the attack head-on.

Although the Rouge Shaman was fighting unarmed, her moves were incredibly fierce. Each punch carried a powerful whistling sound, like an iron cone striking stone or a giant axe splitting a mountain—extremely powerful.

Poison Rose fought with all her might, exchanging over ten blows in an instant. She realized that her opponent's martial arts were superb, and that she couldn't defeat her with her own strength in a short time.

Then—she let out a delicate shout, intending to unleash her sect's ultimate technique, the "Eighteen Flights of the Cloud Phoenix," a superior lightness skill, to fight her, but the staggering figure was already upon her.

Poison Rose gracefully dodged, glancing at the newcomer, and couldn't help but be slightly taken aback!

It turned out that the staggering figure wasn't Bao Hong, but a handsome young man in blue robes from Rouge Valley, his left arm bleeding profusely, his sleeve soaked through.

The handsome young man in blue robes arrived, and with a thud, knelt before the Rouge Valley sorceress, his expression extremely panicked and pained.

Tears streaming down his face, he said, "Reporting to the Valley Master, Bao Hong is stubborn and incorrigible. Taking advantage of my unpreparedness, he drew the mountain-guarding sword from Yangxin Cliff, stabbed my left arm, and escaped. I failed in my duty of surveillance and have come to beg for forgiveness!"

Everyone present was stunned upon hearing this!

The shaman, Rouge, abruptly stopped, abandoning her attack on Poison Rose, and hurriedly asked, "He also took the Mountain-Suppressing Sword? Is that true?"

The handsome young man in blue shook his head and replied in a low voice, "No, he saw that my arm was injured and knew I couldn't chase him, so he released the sword and fled. This disciple deserves to die a thousand deaths; I request the Valley Master to punish him according to the law!" The

shaman, Rouge, sighed softly and shook her head, saying, "It's fine that he didn't take my sword. I originally had no intention of imprisoning him; I just wanted him to stay in this valley for a few more days. I didn't expect him to be rescued, and now he's back. Things are a bit strange.

" He paused, then said, "This matter is far too complex. He can't find the mastermind alone. Even if he could, it wouldn't be something he could accomplish alone. It might even trigger a bloodbath in the martial world!"

He paused again, glanced down at the young man in blue before him, and continued, "Shi An, get up quickly. Go with your junior sister Miao Xiang to get some medicine for your wounds. I won't punish you for what happened today, but you must be careful in the future."

The young man in blue, named Shi An, was so happy to hear the Valley Master let him off so easily that he was speechless.

He respectfully kowtowed to the Rouge Goddess, stood up, and said cheerfully, "Thank you, Valley Master, for sparing my life! I will be cautious in all my future endeavors." The

Rouge Goddess instructed her beloved disciple, Qiu Miao Xiang, to take Shi An back to Yangxin Cliff to get medicine and heal his wounds, but the young lady lingered.

Because she had a guilty conscience, and wondering where Bao Hong had gone after escaping, she didn't know when they would meet again!

A moment later—she suddenly whispered to the shaman, "Master! According to your prediction, where did he go?"

The shaman, knowing her beloved disciple's personality—always wanting to get to the bottom of things—said, to avoid suspicion, "I mentioned Master Mingkong, the current abbot of Shaolin Temple, to him. He must have gone to Shaolin Temple."

"Hmm..."

Qiu Miaoxiang gave a soft hum, her voice cold, then turned to Shi An and said, "Let's go!"

***********************************************

Bao Hong wounded Shi An, the shaman's disciple, with his sword and escaped Yangxin Cliff. He did indeed return to this strange valley to find Poison Rose and the heavily injured Yunyu Nu Sima Jiaojiao.

However, neither of them was there, and unable to say goodbye to Qiu Miaoxiang, he walked out of the valley alone.

Then, having found his mount, he headed straight for the world-renowned Shaolin Temple.

***********************************************

In the depths of winter, the first snow had melted, creating a world of pristine beauty.

A monk in a robe, with thick eyebrows and large eyes, stood serenely on the banks of the Yangtze River, amidst the chilling wind.

He

stood motionless, like a celestial being.

Darkness had fallen.

Night dew had gathered.

A mist still shrouded the river.

Four full hours had passed.

No one had come, not even a ferry.

The wind howled across the vast wilderness,

billowing and rustling the monk's robe.

The sky had lowered, casting a shower of stars.

The monk looked at the starry sky; the Big Dipper was beginning to point east.

He adjusted his robe, approached the riverbank, and groped among the reeds. He broke off a withered reed and rubbed it between his nose and lips. Then, with his left hand, he gathered his wide sleeves and gently flicked the reed into the river with his right.

The river flowed vast, and the reed landed lightly, flatly, and steadily on its surface.

A single reed on the river, like a ferryboat.

The monk lightly touched the ground with his feet, rose into the air like a roc soaring through the sky, and landed on the reed, yet as light and agile as a swallow in May.

Then—the night dew grew heavier.

The monk gradually faded into the distance.

Dawn—opened the vast and open northern land.

Snow-covered branches and frost-covered grass, the wind clearing the mist.

His robe was still wet and cold, his straw sandals were still wet and cold.

The monk was already on his way… already on his way to Luoyang…

The cold wind moved from south to north, and the monk also moved from south to north.

In a magnificent golden temple at the northern foot of Shaoshi Mountain, northwest of Dengfeng County, Henan Province.

The monk's straw sandals, his face, and his robe traveled from Luoyang to this place.

No one had ever seen him speak.

Upon arriving, covered in dust, he silently bowed to the gods and Buddhas, then moved a prayer mat in the main hall to the side wall and sat facing it.

This became the first major event in the history of Chinese Zen Buddhism: nine years of facing the wall—

that monk became a unique figure in Chinese Buddhism: Bodhidharma—

and this temple became the source of Chinese Zen and martial arts: Shaolin Temple—

Mount Song is located southeast of Luoyang, the central peak of the Five Sacred Mountains, and one of the most famous mountains in Chinese literary history. The Book of Songs records "a high mountain is a sacred mountain," its actual height being 1688 meters above sea level.

Beside Mount Song are Mount Taishi and Mount Shaoshi.

Mount Taishi originally had twenty-four peaks; it is said that Mei Changsu wrote a poem about the twelve peaks of Mount Taishi. Mount Shaoshi also has thirty peaks, their heights being roughly equal.

Shaolin Temple is located on Mount Shaoshi, about twenty-five li from the county seat.

Cypress trees stand evergreen before the temple, with the Five Peaks behind it.

To the right, three large characters in clerical script, "First Mountain," are engraved on a stone tablet on the wall.

The only Tang Dynasty stele is a document from the Wude era, in which King Tai of Tang accuses the abbot of Shaolin Temple of his

righteousness, referring to the time when Emperor Taizong of Tang bestowed a sword upon a monk after his campaign against Wang Chong. Thirteen disciples, including Tanzong, rendered meritorious service and were all rewarded with titles. Tanzong was appointed a general, while the others, unwilling to serve as officials, were each bestowed with a purple cassock. Thus, the Shaolin monks became famous throughout the country.

The Book of Woodcutter Nine states: "In martial arts today, no one in the world surpasses Shaolin, followed by Wudang, which also learned from Shaolin."

Chapter Sixteen:

From Qingyang, Anhui to Dengfeng, Henan, it was a long journey.

Bao Hong rode alone, taking five or six days to leave Anhui and enter Henan.

Along the way, he kept thinking about how Shaolin Temple, a legitimate school of martial arts, had been involved in the siege of the Three Strange Women of Guanwai twenty years ago, killing Wen Shi.

He finally knew who his birth parents were, but it was a tragedy!

Bao Hong was filled with grief and indignation.

He hoped that this trip to Shaolin Temple would reveal the true culprit behind his parents' murder.

Because of his extreme pain, he didn't want to lift his head the entire way, only focusing on riding forward when stopping for food and lodging.

He desperately wanted to reach Shaolin Temple immediately and find out what he needed to know.

Suddenly, the clatter of hooves sounded behind him.

The hurried hoofbeats startled Bao Hong slightly!

He looked up and turned around.

A few dozen feet away, there was a clear stream, several lush green cypress trees swaying gently in the breeze, and the murmuring of the water could be faintly heard.

A girl in white rode her horse at breakneck speed, closing in on Bao Hong. When the two horses were side by side, she suddenly and gently steered her horse to the right.

Bao Hong thought she was deliberately teasing him, especially in broad daylight. His anger flared instantly, and he thrust out his left palm, aiming a blow at the horse's head.

This palm strike, unleashed in his rage, was incredibly powerful. But by the time he realized the white-clad girl on horseback was none other than Qiu Miaoxiang, the woman who had once saved him and with whom he had shared a passionate encounter, he tried to retract his strike. The force had already been released, and given the close proximity, it was too late.

The palm struck the horse squarely on the head.

The horse, in its frenzied gallop and spun wildly, was no match for the powerful blow.

A muffled roar was heard, its front legs buckled, and it collapsed to the ground.

Qiu Miaoxiang cried out in alarm! She slid straight off the horse.

Bao Hong, realizing the danger, didn't have time to think. He dismounted and swiftly reached out to catch her beautiful body.

Suddenly—Bao Hong saw her starry eyes redden, and two tears rolled down her cheeks. He was stunned!

After a long pause—he asked softly, "Damn! Are you here to hunt me down on my master's orders?"

Qiu Miaoxiang shook her head, offering no answer.

However, she gently twisted her body and tightly embraced Bao Hong with both arms.

After a long while, she said sadly, "I came to give you the 'Two-Pronged Sword' and the 'Supreme Sword Manual'."

Bao Hong was slightly taken aback!

His brows furrowed as he pondered…

After a long while—he exclaimed in surprise, “Holy crap! You’ve come to deliver the ‘Two-Pronged Sword’ and the ‘Supreme Sword Manual’? Is that even possible? Are you dreaming?!”

Qiu Miaoxiang nodded, two more tears rolling down her cheeks, falling onto her chest, and said, “And… my master lost his left arm because of you!”

Bao Hong was utterly shocked!

He stared blankly, frozen in place!

After a long pause, he asked in astonishment, "Holy crap! Firecrackers in a coffin—it's terrifying! The Rouge Witch's martial arts are already at a transcendent level, how could someone have chopped off her arm?"

Qiu Miaoxiang said with extreme sorrow, "This person's martial arts are far superior to my master's. While my master was fast asleep, he secretly entered the room and cut off her arm..."

She paused, wiping away her tears, and continued, "When she woke up from her dream in pain, the intruder had already fled. Only a precious sword and a thin book were left on the table in the room, with a note under the sword..."

As she spoke, she took out a white note from her bosom and handed it to Bao Hong.

Bao Hong stretched out his slightly trembling hands, took the note, and read it.

It read: "

The danger in Qingcheng was originally a conspiracy. All those involved swore an oath by breaking their swords that they would never reveal it. Anyone who violates this oath will be executed immediately." "I'm only acknowledging that you only revealed a small part of Shaolin Temple's secrets, so I've severed one of your arms as punishment. If you repeat this offense, I will show no leniency! The 'Two-Pronged Sword' and the 'Supreme Sword Manual' were left to Bao Hong by the Supreme Venerable Tian Fengyun. I earnestly request that you find a way to deliver them to him immediately! "

After reading the note, Bao Hong's heart raced. His brows furrowed, and he pondered deeply…

After a long while—he finally muttered to himself, "Damn! Judging from this, that Rouge Goddess was not only present at the time, but also involved. Who is this purple-robed scholar who left the note and returned the sword? Damn! Of course she knows that if we don't find the real culprit at Shaolin Temple, we might have to return to Rouge Valley!"

Seeing that he was speaking to himself, Qiu Miaoxiang realized the gravity of the matter and had to tell him frankly.

She frowned slightly and said, "The newcomer's martial arts are unfathomable. Even my master, a peerless master, had his arm chopped off by him, and he still didn't know who he was."

She paused, then added, "Because two purple-clad scholars have appeared in the martial world, but neither of them were the ones who besieged the Three Extraordinary Women of the Pass twenty years ago."

"Oh—" Bao Hong exclaimed in surprise!

He quickly added, "Holy crap! Besides Uncle Zhong, the purple-robed scholar from Yintao Manor in Xiangxi, another purple-robed scholar has appeared? Have you seen him before?"

Qiu Miaoxiang nodded and said, "I have. Just when you were being held captive by your master at Yangxin Cliff, two purple-robed scholars appeared in Rouge Valley at the same time. One was Zhong Yu from Yintao Manor, and the other was Lin Hanwen, Zhong Yu's junior brother. But both of them came to Rouge Valley to investigate the truth behind the robbery and murder twenty years ago. Of course, the person who cut off my master's arm and left the note to return the sword was definitely not one of them." Bao Hong looked

up at the blue sky and muttered to himself, "Holy crap! Could it be the purple-robed scholar that Yunniang accidentally met at a restaurant in Peach Blossom Spring?"

"That's right, it's said to be him..." She paused for a moment, then added, "But the real culprit isn't him! It seems there's already a third purple-robed scholar in the martial world. This person is the real mastermind behind the murder of your mother twenty years ago!"

"Damn! Trying to read the accounts while riding a donkey—just you wait and see!"

At this moment, Qiu Miaoxiang sighed softly, looked up at the sky, and then gazed deeply at Bao Hong with eyes full of affection.

After a moment, she said softly, "To avenge my master's severed arm, my two senior brothers have secretly left Rouge Valley to search for that purple-robed scholar. Only my master is left at Yangxin Cliff, so I cannot accompany you. Take care of yourself!" As she spoke, she untied the two-pronged sword and the Supreme Sword Manual from her back and handed them to Bao Hong.

Bao Hong took the sword and manual, put them on his back, took Qiu Miaoxiang's hand, smiled gratefully, and said, "You take care too. I'll hurry to Shaolin Temple. Farewell." With that, he mounted his mount.

Qiu Miaoxiang's eyes were slightly red. She reached out and grabbed the reins of her horse, looking up at Bao Hong, who sat upright on the horse , and said, "Shaolin Temple is renowned throughout the martial arts world. The monks there are all highly skilled in martial arts. Husband, you must be careful on your journey."

Bao Hong nodded and said, "Yes! I know." With that, he flicked the reins, and his horse reared up with a long neigh and galloped forward.

Before it had gone five zhang, a cry of alarm came from behind: "Master Bao, my horse is dead!"

Bao Hong was startled by the sound and quickly pulled on the reins to stop his horse. He turned around and saw that Qiu Miaoxiang's sturdy horse was lying face down on the ground, blood streaming from its mouth and nose, dead.

He knew that he had killed Qiu Miaoxiang's horse with a single blow, and he felt a pang of guilt. He quickly dismounted, took his own horse, and approached the young woman.

Then, he handed the reins to Qiu Miaoxiang, saying, "Damn it! I was reckless and accidentally killed Xiangmei's horse. So, this horse is yours."

Qiu Miaoxiang's eyes glistened with tears, she smiled sadly, and shook her head, saying, "You're so annoying! Who wants your horse? The journey to Shaolin Temple is still quite long. You ride it!"

Bao Hong said with concern, "Damn it! The journey back to Rouge Valley isn't short either. You should ride my horse back. I can use my lightness skill to go straight to Shaolin Temple."

Qiu Miaoxiang handed the reins back to Bao Hong, forcing a smile, and said, "At least you still have a conscience. But you're in such a hurry right now. How can you use your lightness skill in broad daylight? You should ride the horse!"

Bao Hong said, "Damn it! What about you? I can't leave you behind!"

Qiu Miaoxiang slightly... With a smile, he said, "I'll buy another horse." He

paused for a moment and then asked, "Do you know Sima Jiaojiao, the Jade Maiden of Clouds?"

Bao Hong was taken aback and exclaimed, "Wow! The Jade Maiden of Clouds is quite skilled in martial arts... but..."

Qiu Miaoxiang said, "Let me tell you, but you find it a bit annoying that she's always following you around, don't you? Let me tell you, she's deeply in love with you..."

Bao Hong's expression changed, and he said, "Don't talk nonsense, she's already a married woman..." With that, he leaped onto his horse, cupped his hands towards Qiu Miaoxiang, and said, "Go back quickly, don't overthink things!"

Qiu Miaoxiang blinked her big eyes, a thin layer of tears welling up in them, and said, "Women always like to create their own troubles, and I'm the same..."

Bao Hong spurred his horse and galloped for nearly twenty miles before slowing down.

He pondered, "Why did Qiu Miaoxiang say that Ruyun Yunu was deeply in love? How did she know that Ruyun Yunu was following me everywhere? Could it be—Ruyun Yunu said something to her… If my guess is correct, then Ruyun Yunu's severe palm wound, lying in that strange valley, must have been inflicted by Qiu Miaoxiang or her master, the Rouge Goddess! Although she had taken the elixir given to her by Yunniang, I wonder how badly her injuries are now? Why were Ruyun Yunu and Yunniang gone when I returned to the valley? Where did they go? Could they have followed me to Shaolin Temple?" While he

was lost in thought, he had traveled another seven or eight li.

By this time—it was already dark.

He looked up and saw—not far ahead, a cluster of houses with wine flags fluttering in the wind, resembling a village.

So, he tightened the reins and headed straight for it.

This was a small town on the main road, with fewer than a hundred households, but about ten inns.

Bao Hong found the largest inn, had a hearty meal, and then called over the waiter to ask, "Wow! What's the name of your place?"

The waiter chuckled and said, "This place is called Jiangdian, the smallest town on the border of Anhui and Henan provinces, with only eighty or ninety households."

Bao Hong asked, "Do you have any inns?"

The waiter replied, "Our shop is a hotel and inn business. If you need a place to stay, sir, our rooms are the best in the whole town."

"Damn! Then I'll stay at Fuhao. Make sure the horses are fed, and we'll settle the bill tomorrow. I don't care how small the room is, as long as it's clean."

He paused for a moment, then added, "Damn! Bring up four side dishes and a pot of wine to appease my hunger."

Soon, the waiter brought the food and wine.

Bao Hong began to pour himself a drink.

But then, the hotel guests began to chatter loudly: "Sigh! Ever since this 'Cha Mou' came, everyone's been completely infatuated with him, and no one's been able to concentrate on their work!"

Bao Hong, always very curious, despite having a mountain of unfinished business, called over a waiter and asked, "Holy crap! Waiter, what are they talking about, 'Cha Mou'?"

The waiter looked around at the table, and seeing that there was nothing to attend to, he explained the situation.

"About two months ago, a beautiful woman arrived. She's said to be from the capital, coming to this sparsely populated little town to escape the advances of纨绔子弟 (playboys). This woman understands men's psychology perfectly. She knows what to do, what to do, and what to be elegant about. She knows when to dress up heavily and when to be simple. She knows when to be affected and when to be generous. Deep down, she's seductive and wanton, but on the surface, she's as dignified as a lady from a wealthy family. This has not only captivated the local men, but also made some outsiders forget their homes!"

Bao Hong, sensing this woman's shrewdness, casually remarked, "Wow! This woman is really something. She understands the principle that what you can't have is the most precious. No wonder so many lecherous men are infatuated with her!"

"That's right. The men here are all secretly talking about her, but only a few have 'been with' her."

"Wow! Who are they? Why are only they able to?"

"No, her 'price' is too high!"

"Wow! How much for one time?"

"I heard it costs a thousand taels of gold!"

"Wow! Is it that expensive?"

"Yes! According to those who have been with her, they would die happy!"

"Wow! What do you mean?"

"Because they got the greatest pleasure in life from her!"

"Wow! Such a novel thing? Do you know where they trade?"

"Well... they do it at Aunt Kuang's house."

Bao Hong inquired about Aunt Kuang's address before continuing his meal.

Around midnight—Bao Hong arrived at Aunt Kuang's residence.

He saw a man and a woman sitting inside. The man was very strong, but unfortunately, he wasn't handsome and looked quite unremarkable.

But then Aunt Kuang said, "Old Sun! You came once this morning, why did you run away again?"

Old Sun replied, "Yesterday I ran into 'Iron Broom' Fang Hu. He fought me for a long time, but he couldn't beat me, so he just kept pestering me. Today I came here to say a few words to the young lady and then left."

He paused, then added, "'Iron Broom' searched for me for a long time outside the village. I lured him to the inn on the main street ahead, got him drunk, and once he was fast asleep, I managed to escape here."

Aunt Kuang laughed, "You two fight as soon as you meet, but you have no grudge against each other, why do you always make a fuss?"

Old Sun said, "Anyway, you know best, and I don't want to say anything more. I won't go anywhere he is; I don't like being with him!"

A lamp was lit in Aunt Kuang's room, and then two more women brought in some wine and dishes. Everyone sat around the table and began to eat.

Old Sun and Aunt Kuang sat together, and Aunt Kuang's eyes revealed a captivating spring-like allure. She didn't speak, but just kept looking at Old Sun.

In front of all the women, Old Sun reached out and touched Aunt Kuang's breasts.

While touching Aunt Kuang's breasts, he said to another woman, "Xiao Ru, it's been several days since we've been intimate. Come here and pour me a cup of wine!"

The girl named Xiao Ru hurriedly went over, picked up the wine pot, and was about to pour when Old Sun grabbed her, made her sit on his lap, and at the same time began to touch Xiao Ru's buttocks.

Xiao Ru laughed, "That old bastard Sun, he just loves touching people's butts."

Aunt Kuang laughed, "Because your butt is so tender, that old bastard Sun especially loves touching it."

Old Sun laughed, "Yours is good too, I can insert it from the front and back, it's so alluring."

Aunt Kuang laughed and scolded, "You're going to die, why don't you tell me about how you do that kind of thing!"

Another woman laughed, "Old Sun loves your sister's back door the most."

Another woman said, "Peipei, don't talk about your sister, yours has been messed with by Old Sun for a long time, and he couldn't get it in and it even tore."

"That's right, I even helped her apply medicine twice, and it's healed now."

Peipei said, "How dare you two talk about my shameful things, be careful I'll get back at you."

Bao Hong, who was listening outside, was itching to see more, thinking to himself, "Wow! These 'cha men' really know how to play, from what they're saying, they even insert it into the anus, that can cause 'AIDS'! Scary!"

He was about to get closer to see more clearly

when—"Haha"—a laugh.

But then—a voice laughed loudly from the rooftop: "Old Sun! Old Sun! You tricked me into leaving, and then came here to be emperor yourself!"

With the voice, a figure flashed, and another person appeared in the room.

This man had a fat head and big ears, was about fifty years old, dressed in brocade robes, and was staring intently at several women with a delighted look.

Bao Hong was surprised that this obese fellow possessed such excellent lightness skills, and couldn't help but think to himself, "Wow! You can't judge a book by its cover!"

The newcomer was none other than "Iron Broom," the man Old Sun had mentioned.

Aunt Kuang, fearing they would start fighting again upon meeting, tried to smooth things over, saying, "Alright! Stop arguing. A moment of bliss is worth a thousand pieces of gold. Uncle Fang, which one do you like? Peipei? Xiaoru? Yafang?"

"Iron Broom" replied, "Today I want to try something new."

"Ah! You want to find our 'Jade Guanyin,' Miss Qianhui! Uncle Fang, you should know Miss Qianhui's 'price,' right?"

"Haha! Of course, otherwise, without a fair share, I wouldn't dare to come to Liangshan. Without bringing enough goods, how can I get close to her!" Saying this, he pulled a silver note from his waist and stuffed it into Aunt Kuang's hand.

Aunt Kuang glanced at it, turned around, and left.

A moment later, they heard—"Uncle Fang!"

The voice was sweet and fragrant, and Bao Hong's heart fluttered!

"Iron Broom" turned around and stared, speechless.

He saw—a beautiful young woman of about eighteen or nineteen years old, wearing a pink gauze dress, standing gracefully in front of "Iron Broom."

The gauze skirt was like a cicada's wing, and one could immediately see that there was "complete vacuum" underneath. Her breasts were high and firm, and her peaks were exceptionally pleasing to the eye!

That mysterious "water source" was covered with lush grass, making one's blood boil!

No wonder "Iron Broom" was completely stunned.

Bao Hong was also stunned, because—this beautiful girl, who looked like a fairy, bore a striking resemblance to the "Coffin Beauty" Mei Niang. Bao Hong secretly took note, intending to see what "tricks" she would pull!

But then—she called out "Uncle Fang" and immediately threw herself into his arms.

"Iron Broom" felt his breath catch in his throat and almost fainted on the spot.

The girl named Qian Hui gently extended her slender hands and began to move on him. In no time, "Iron Broom" had been stripped naked.

His fair, plump body was even more eye-catching against her pink dress, like a little lark nestled against a great white shark.

"Uncle Fang, you're so strong!"

"Hehe! Miss Qian Hui, you're so beautiful."

"Uncle Fang! A moment of spring night is worth a thousand pieces of gold, help me undress!"

"Hehe! Okay! Okay!" Saying this, he began to remove her gauze dress with trembling hands, but his eyes were fixed on Aunt Kuang and the others.

Aunt Kuang, being quite perceptive, quickly said, "I won't waste your time, let's go! Let's go!" With that, she led Old Sun and the three women away.

The young girl, however, nonchalantly allowed him to "dissect" her, occasionally twisting her body and giggling incessantly.

Bao Hong secretly exclaimed, "Wow! This 'Cha' has such big breasts, she doesn't seem like that 'Coffin Beauty' Mei Niang at all."

Then—she swayed her slender waist, bobbing her breasts and wiggling her snowy buttocks as she walked to the bedside and sat down! Then she slowly lay back on the bed, her lower body completely hanging off the edge, immediately revealing the "heartthrob's" "pit" to "Iron Broom."

"Iron Broom" rubbed his hands together with delight, quickly went over, rubbed his thick, short "sausage" against the "Peach Blossom Cave" a couple of times, then with a sway of his round belly, he thrust his lower body forward, and with a "plop," it went in.

Chie let out an exaggerated "Ouch!" and laughed hysterically.

"Oh...ouch...you're so amazing...I...I can't take it anymore..."

she swayed her hips to meet his

thrusts. "Iron Broom" pounded into her like a king conquering the land, panting heavily.

Chie groaned repeatedly, begging for mercy.

"Iron Broom," however, laughed heartily, extremely pleased with himself.

After a moment, he groaned, swayed several times, and then collapsed onto her, panting heavily, motionless.

Chie murmured, "Master...I never thought you...were so strong..."

"Iron Broom" laughed and panted with glee.

Bao Hong, watching from the sidelines, cursed inwardly, "Damn it! You're shameless! They're making a fool of you, and you're still laughing like a fool!"

A moment later—Qianhui pretended to struggle to her feet, squatted between his legs, looked at the dejected "caterpillar," and sighed, "I never imagined it could be so fierce!" With a "tsk," she

flicked her wrist and sent it flying. "Iron Broom" shuddered, then laughed heartily.

He thought he had conquered her.

Seeing his smugness, Qianhui secretly sneered and began to caress him.

"Iron Broom" moaned "Oh...oh..." with pleasure, his body trembling. His two fat hands stroked her hair, his eyes narrowed, drool unknowingly dripping from his mouth, as he let out strange "waaaah" sounds. Only after he shuddered and ejaculated again did she slowly swallow, smile, and release him, saying, "Uncle Fang, were you comfortable?"

"Iron Broom" was delighted by her attentive "service" and repeatedly praised her.

At the same time—he took a silver note from his pocket and handed it to her, saying, "Darling! Forgive me for being a vulgar man; I can only offer you this vulgar gift. I hope you won't mind!"

Qianhui happily accepted the silver note, smiling tenderly, "How could I? Uncle Fang, I don't know how to repay you!"

"Haha, darling, you've already repaid me."

Qianhui blushed and whispered, "Uncle Fang, you won't laugh at me for being so useless, will you?"

"Haha! I like this kind of thing, darling. When can we meet again?"

"This… I'll have Auntie inform you as soon as possible!"

"Haha, darling, hurry up!"

After helping him get dressed, Qianhui put on her gauze skirt and smiled as she saw him out.

As soon as "Iron Broom" stepped out, Old Sun rushed over, grinning, and said, "Miss, I saw you were quite skilled just now. Sun Shanlong would like to learn a few moves from you!"

Bao Hong chuckled inwardly, "Wow! A martial arts contest to find a husband? What do you mean, 'learn some moves'?"

Qianhui turned around and smiled, saying, "I have my own rules. You go and talk to your auntie. Qianhui is always ready to teach you."

Old Sun, confident in his influence and connections here, believed his auntie would support him and immediately said, "This is my territory, and I have my own rules!"

"Your territory? Hehe..." Qianhui said, laughing so hard her whole body trembled. Her breasts swayed so much that Sun Shanlong's eyes widened, and he swallowed hard.

After a while—Qianhui stopped laughing.

Seeing Sun Shanlong's trembling appearance, she secretly sneered, and a good idea flashed in her eyes.

It turned out that she had been aroused by the "iron broom" earlier, but had no way to release her desire. Now, seeing Sun Shanlong's strong physique and hearing Aunt Kuang praise him for his competence, she immediately wanted to use him to vent her anger.

"Uncle Sun! You really want to have a match?"

"Uncle always means what he says, he never goes back on his word."

"Princess, Uncle Sun, let's be friendly and leave Aunt Kuang aside. Let's sit down and talk, shall we?"

Sun Shanlong hadn't expected her to pull this stunt. He chuckled and said, "Talk? Sure, but shall we talk with our mouths or our hands?"

Qianhui immediately said, "Forgive me for not being presumptuous enough to 'pay my respects' at your residence. Uncle Sun, you are so magnanimous, I don't know..."

Sun Shanlong said, "No need! I just want to have a match with you. No need for fancy moves. If you really defeat me, I'll admit defeat and never bother with you again!"

As she walked, Qianhui took off her gauze skirt. When she reached Sun Shanlong, she was completely naked.

But then she said in a seductive voice, "Master Sun! I was very rude, so I'm offering myself as atonement. I hope you won't think I'm being presumptuous?" As she spoke, she began to undress Sun Shanlong. Her gaze fell on his six-inch-long, menacing "jade pestle," and her heart fluttered. She gently squeezed it with her hand.

Because of the excessive force, Sun Shanlong cried out, "Ouch! What are you doing?"

"Hehe!...I'm making amends!" she said, leaping onto Sun Shanlong.

She placed her hands on his chest, lowered her waist, and with a "whoosh," it was completely inside him.

Sun Shanlong felt a surge of pleasure and let out a muffled groan.

Qian Hui chuckled and began to stroke him.

Due to the angle, Bao Hong could only see her snow-white, round buttocks and the scene of her "jade clam" swallowing and releasing Sun Shanlong's "jade pestle."

Although their expressions couldn't be seen, after a moment they were seen tightly embracing each other and writhing, showing how passionate their relationship was!

"Wow! This Sun Shanlong is really something, he can actually hold out for so long. It seems he hasn't let those 'sluts' have him completely 'eaten' yet."

Bao Hong, having watched many "shows" and possessing considerable clinical experience, remained patient.

However, a series of rapid breaths rang out.

Then, Qianhui cried out, "Ah...you...hold on..."

Knowing Sun Shanlong was about to be defeated, she realized he was about to give in.

Sun Shanlong trembled for a moment before "delivering."

Qianhui cried out urgently, "Hold on! Hold on some more!"

But Sun cried out, "Ouch! It's about to break!"

In her haste, she shook and thrashed, unaware that Sun Shanlong's "jade pestle" had already shrunk to the opening after "delivering." Suddenly, Sun Shanlong cried out, his pain from Qianhui's jerky movements causing him considerable discomfort.

Qianhui, caught off guard by Sun Shanlong's weakness, kicked him. Sitting up, she said angrily, "Useless thing!"

She raised her left foot, ready to kick him a few more times.

Just then, a voice called out, "Sister, wait!"

Qianhui looked up and saw Aunt Kuang; the words had come from her mouth.

Qianhui couldn't disobey Aunt Kuang; after all, one must consider the master before beating a dog, especially since Aunt Kuang was now her "manager"!

"Auntie, why are you pleading for this kind of person?" Qianhui said angrily, "Damn it! We can't let him 'get away with it for free.' Without the 'fees,' he can forget about acting like a boss here!"

Sun Shanlong, however, was furious.
