[Fantasy] Treasure Cauldron (Complete) - 1

Chapter One:

Wanxian, one of the largest cities along the Yangtze River in Sichuan,

is a major distribution center for goods, second only to Chongqing, and a vital town in the lower reaches of the Yangtze River.

Wanxian's beautiful terrain has been renowned since ancient times.

Passing through Haoli Mountain, leaning against the natural city wall, and relying on Maozi Mountain, the city is rugged and uneven, built along the mountains.

The area around the Zijiang River is relatively flat, with Wan'an Bridge serving as the central connection.

The Yangtze River flows towards Wanxian, then westwards, passing through many gorges, resulting in numerous dangerous gorges and exceptionally beautiful scenery. Beyond this point lies the Three Gorges. Among

Wanxian's historical sites and scenic spots, the most famous is Taibai Cliff, where Li Bai studied, located behind Nanjin Street.

The only park within the city is Chengxi Mountain Park, facing the Yangtze River, with a natural terrain and abundant flowers. At the entrance, Tiefeng Mountain Temple has a tall bell tower, reaching ten zhang (approximately 33 meters), whose sound can be heard as far as Wanxian, Yuncheng, and Guanzhong counties. The

Lu Di Liu Bei (a type of wine cup) is another scenic spot in Wanxian.

The Flowing Cup Pool is located in front of the Gaosuntang Youth Palace, and is said to be the place where the great Song Dynasty poet Huang Tingjian held banquets in his early years.

The famous Huilan Pagoda is also quite beautiful.

Many streams flow through Wanxian City, their course unpredictable. The water is low in winter and autumn, and high in spring and summer, so many stone bridges connect the city's transportation.

Wanxian has many bridges, and they are quite unique.

For example, the Wuliang Bridge and Wan'an Bridge have two levels; during low water, one can walk on the lower level, and during high water, one can walk on the upper suspension bridge.

Wan'an Bridge is the most beautiful, with the Gongma Creek flowing beneath it. When the water is high, the creek rushes swiftly and straight down, hence the scholar's name "Echoing Snow."

A waterfall cascades down a huge rock, a spectacular sight.

This bridge is only a few inches wide, with a pavilion built in the middle for resting. Many historical sites are located beneath the bridge.

In the west of the city, there is a stream flowing into Changxi, with a huge stone beam lying across it. Using this natural bridge, it is called "Heavenly Immortal Bridge."

The people of Wanxian are deeply influenced by Guan Yu, emphasizing righteousness.

Therefore, many Sichuanese formed societies and gangs, the most famous being led by Qing and Hong. Outsiders entering Sichuan were usually subjected to a thorough interrogation.

One day—on a street corner in the west of the city—a group of young men, ranging in age from thirteen or fourteen to fifteen or sixteen, were glaring at each other.

Although they were glaring at each other, meaning each had an opponent, these dozen or so young men were clearly divided into two groups.

However, just staring at each other, it seemed impossible to determine who was superior. One side not only had more men, but each was also tall and strong.

Therefore, even their eyes seemed much larger. Just

that one glare, the fierce light shooting from their eyes, was enough to intimidate their opponents.

But, things were strange!

The one being pressured, although fewer in number and smaller and thinner than the others, was arrogant and haughty. "

Damn it! Why? Sun Wukong sitting on the throne—it's unworthy!"

On the other hand, without a certain level of skill, who would dare to go to Liangshan? Aren't these little guys afraid of beating him to a pulp?

Look at them—these little guys, each one calm and collected, as if they possess extraordinary skills; their internal strength has reached a state of perfection, facing powerful enemies with unwavering composure and confidence.

Wow! Is that even possible?

"Buying a pig at a horse inn—that's not true."

Both sides had been fighting for a long time, and those with larger eyes tired more easily. So, they blinked and rested briefly.

One of the most valiant and imposing leaders shouted, "Ah Hong, were you even listening to what I said?"

This young man named Ah Hong was the leader of this group of short guys. Thirteen or fourteen years old, neither fat nor thin, with regular and handsome features, he should have been considered quite dashing.

But right now, he had a cold smile on his lips, squinting and looking down arrogantly, left hand on hip, right whip bent, standing there casually—which completely ruined his image.

His heroic spirit had dwindled to a mere fraction, but his thug-like demeanor was now nine-tenths what it used to be.

He coughed first, adopting a domineering air, and said, "Damn it! You're not speaking Mandarin (Beijing dialect), so I can't understand a word you say. It's just that your pronunciation is terrible, like someone with a big bird's egg in their mouth!"

The big guys were enraged by his words, their eyes, which had just rested, suddenly gleamed again, and it looked like a fight was about to break out.

Seeing this, Ah Hong sneered twice and said, "Tong Kai! 'Cows eat straw, ducks eat goat'—each to their own,' damn it! Why can't you let my gang hang around in Wanxian? You're like a toad yawning—what a big mouth you have!"

Damn it! The young punks also started a brawl over who would be the "leader."

Tong Kai was clearly the leader of this group of big guys.

He snorted coldly and said, "A hand only has one thumb. Don't you even know whose territory West Street is? You dare to try and do business without asking? You're asking for trouble!"

Tong Kai retorted without backing down.

Ah Hong laughed, stretched out both hands, clenched his four fingers, and pointed his thumb upwards, smirking, "Damn! Look at yourself, how many thumbs are there? And if you count the two toes below, there are two thumbs too. You can't even count that many? No skill—"

At his words, the group of short men immediately burst into laughter.

One of them sneered, "Probably trying to do business without capital, and got caught and chopped off."

This made the group of short men laugh even harder.

Tong Kai's face turned purplish-blue with rage. He roared, "Fuck your mother! You've got a nose in the nose, you're too proud! Trying to 'scrape gold from Buddha's face—you don't want to live anymore!'" He gestured to his left and right, and the big guys immediately came at him, fists and palms swung, all their pent-up anger bursting forth.

Seeing his opponents rubbing their fists and making their move, Ah Hong shouted, "Wow! The attack line has been opened!"

He dodged Tong Kai's punch to the chest, spun around, and kicked Tong Kai in the backside with his right leg, laughing, "Let's mark this with a 'thumb'!" Caught

off guard, Tong Kai tumbled and fell flat on his face.

He jumped to his feet, whirled around, grabbed Ah Hong by the collar, and cursed, "If I don't beat you to death, I'm not Tong!" He pulled Ah Hong close and slammed his fist down.

Unexpectedly, Ah Hong played a trick. Just as Tong Kai pulled him close, Ah Hong suddenly yawned, spraying Tong Kai's face with saliva. Taking advantage of Tong Kai's inability to open his eyes, Ah Hong twisted his body and used a move called "Golden Cicada Shedding Its Shell" to slip out from under his coat. He tossed his head, whistled, and laughed, "You, Tong, if you've got the guts, come and chase me!" With that, he led his defeated group and hurriedly disappeared into the alley.

Tong Kai was furious. He wiped his face with his sleeve and roared, giving chase into the alley.

However, the alley, though not very long, wasn't short either. Ah Hong and his group couldn't have disappeared in the blink of an eye!

Yet, he couldn't see a single person.

Tong Kai shouted angrily, "Damn it, Ah Hong! You can run today, but you can't run tomorrow!"

Before he finished speaking, Ah Hong emerged from the end of the alley.

He put his hands on his hips and chuckled, "Damn! I think you're 'dead and back to life—still not enough of living.' I ran for your own good, did you think I was afraid of you?"

Tong Kai was even angrier and charged forward.

Ah Hong made a face, got into a fighting stance, and laughed, "Damn! You've got guts, let's settle this in the alley!"

Tong Kai retorted angrily, "Let's see your head!"

But—just as Tong Kai reached Ah Hong, he suddenly felt a gust of wind whistle past his ear. Knowing he was in trouble, he was struck squarely on the back of the head.

His vision blurred, stars flashed, and before he could recover, the South Countryman struck him again, knocking him to the ground.

In an instant—the entire alley was filled with the clanging and banging of wooden sticks, and cries of agony.

For dozens of children had suddenly appeared from both sides of the alley, each wielding sticks and stones, and with all their might, they were hitting and smashing, forcing the group of big boys to flee in terror!

Seeing that Tong Kai and his gang had been mostly dealt with, Ahong laughed, "Damn! That's called the 'luring the enemy into the alley' strategy!"

He kicked Tong Kai, who was lying on the ground, and said, "Damn! Tie this master up first."

The children laughed and tied up Tong Kai and some of the larger boys who had surrendered.

Ahong said, "Little monkey, take them all to Tiefeng Mountain Temple. I'm going to hold a trial for the prisoners."

Little monkey, like a messenger, proudly shouted, "Move the army to Tiefeng Mountain Temple!"

The children then triumphantly led the defeated prisoners on the road, arriving at the gate of Tiefeng Mountain Temple in a grand procession.

The scene was incredibly impressive; even the temple keeper hid and dared not come out.

At this moment—Tong Kai had regained his senses, only feeling a sharp pain in the back of his head. He groaned, "Ah Hong, what do you want?"

Ah Hong coldly laughed, "Damn it! I'm going to make you draw up three rules in front of the statue of Guan Yu and the elders of Wanxian, so we can all behave properly from now on. If you don't agree, that's fine too, hmph!"

Tong Kai was now a prisoner. He knew Ah Hong was full of tricks and was afraid that he would come up with some strange idea to mess with him again. He hurriedly shouted, "I agree! I agree!"

Ah Hong nudged Tong Kai's groin with the tip of his shoe and said, "Damn it! I haven't even said what rules I want to draw up yet, and you're already agreeing. It's clear you have ulterior motives."

Tong Kai was like a mute eating bitter melon, unable to express his suffering, so he could only remain silent.

Seeing his reaction, Ahong sneered, "Damn! Look at you, such a big guy, but you're such a coward! I thought you were made of iron!"

He then directed another child, "Damn! Xiaoming, go get some paper and a pen." Xiaoming

hurried to borrow a pen, ink, and paper from the temple keeper.

Once everything was ready, Ahong said seriously, "First, from now on, my friends will be setting up stalls on West Street in Wanxian. You can't charge them any land fees; as the saying goes, 'A lone wolf doesn't block the road to wealth.'"

Tong Kai nodded repeatedly in agreement.

"Second, you son of a bitch! You've been injuring my friends repeatedly these past few days. They've suffered considerable losses, including medical expenses and living costs, and their business is also struggling. You have to come up with a thousand taels of silver as compensation.

" Tong Kai stared wide-eyed, exclaiming, "What? A thousand taels? You're asking for the moon!"

Ahong coldly snorted, "Damn! What? You don't agree?" "You know, everything has a price. Asking you to pay a thousand taels of silver is just out of sympathy, a special favor!"

Tong Kai had no choice but to chime in.

It seemed he couldn't refuse.

Ah Hong continued, "Damn! The last thing is that you host a banquet at the 'VIP Building' on West Street and publicly announce that you're not allowed to 'talk bad things' about my brothers anymore, or even curse them."

Tong Kai remained silent, which was tantamount to acquiescing.

Seeing that the matter was settled, Ah Hong immediately perked up, but then he saw Little Monkey with a miserable face and hurriedly said, "Damn! Why are you making such a face?"

Little Monkey walked up to him and whispered, "Brother Ah Hong, I'm not the great poet Li Bai. You, Boss, have written such a long piece; I can't write it!"

Ah Hong had just picked up a pen to write it himself when he suddenly laughed and put the pen back on the table, saying, "Damn! Who said we had to write it ourselves?" "What do the scribes need to eat? They have to write it down for it to count!" The little monkey, like a prisoner freed from his shackles, beamed and went to find the scribes as Ah Hong instructed.

A moment later—the little monkey returned, holding the completed document, and handed it to Ah Hong. Ah Hong said to Tong Kai, "Alright! Now send someone back with a thousand taels of silver to exchange for the scribes. Also, have them sign this document. From now on, when you meet on the street, everyone should still greet each other with smiles and not harbor any ulterior motives."

Tong Kai said this aloud, but secretly thought, "Good lad, we'll see how this goes." "

At that moment, he sent an accomplice back to fetch the silver to ransom Tong Kai.

Ah Hong, meanwhile, sat brazenly at the main gate of Fengshan Temple, waiting for the silver to be delivered, occasionally making faces at Tong Kai.

Tong Kai pretended not to see, but inside he was as anxious as an ant on a hot pan, wishing he could escape immediately and find a place to hide!

After a while, the silver finally arrived.

Ah Hong saw that it was a silver note from the Wanxian 'Oufeng Silver Shop,' knowing it wasn't a guava note, and his eyes lit up. He laughed and said, 'Wow! Tong Kai, now you cast a powerful poison in front of the statue of Guan Yu, keep your promise, and you can leave.'

Tong Kai had no choice but to swear, 'If I, Tong Kai, break the three rules of this agreement, may I be buried in the deepest hell, climbing mountains of knives and being boiled in oil.'" Seeing that he was sincere, Ah

Hong untied Tong Kai and let him go.

The local incident ended with one side happy and the other sad.

The boys surrounded Ah Hong, shouting and cheering, and swaggered down West Street in a demonstration. After parading for a while, Ah Hong, having satisfied his ego as a victorious general, laughed and said, "Alright, everyone take this thousand taels of silver and divide it up. It'll be good to cover next year's losses."

"Boss, aren't you keeping some?"

"Damn! I have some for myself. The brothers have been struggling lately. Let them have a share, spend some, it'll be a small supplement."

"Good! Boss is really generous."

"Let's go! Let's go! Damn!" "With that, the two walked away hand in hand, overjoyed.

This strong young man's surname was Bao, and his given name was Hong. He was the adopted son of Li Hou, the old man from the archway in the city.

Some people said he was Li Hou's adopted son, and the widowed son of Li Hou's wife, who had been forced to marry

him. He had the surname Bao because he had a locket on his body with the four characters 'Long Life, Wealth and Prosperity' on the front and the character 'Bao' on the back. That's how he got his surname.

Whether he was an orphan or an adopted son, Li Hou and his wife truly treated him as their own son. When he was five years old, they hired a scholar from out of town to teach him to read.

This teacher was really strange. He taught him everything, both literary and martial arts, and even taught the little guy about eating, drinking, gambling, and whoring." He possessed knowledge that didn't seem to care about misleading students.

Even stranger, Mr. and Mrs. Li Hou never questioned him, trusting him implicitly.

Bao Hong, a notorious troublemaker in Wanxian, became even more unruly after arriving.

For four years, he had been the leader of a group of mischievous children in the city, getting involved in almost every prank, making him a real headache.

Even children two years older than him had to obey his commands; if they resisted, he would punish them just as strictly as he was.

Fortunately, he still had a sense of justice, otherwise he would have been a menace to Wanxian.

Today, he returned victorious, truly feeling "heartbroken and utterly satisfied"!

He was having so much fun that he got home late.

When he arrived home, he had just reached his door when he suddenly saw a figure flash before his eyes. Curious, he gave chase.

Strangely, the person disappeared into an abandoned house and vanished without a trace.

A perfectly normal person, gone as if from thin air.

Bao Hong, refusing to believe it, searched through the waist-high weeds.

When he reached the vicinity of a dilapidated rockery, he suddenly felt his feet sink into the ground and fell, letting out a scream of "Ouch!"

With a "thud," he landed heavily on the ground, rubbing his backside and groaning in pain.

He muttered, "Ouch! What kind of place is this?" Looking up,

he saw—a dim beam of light shining through a small, slanted opening, about ten feet in diameter, the weeds along its edge swaying in the wind.

He suddenly realized, "Damn! So that's why I fell down that big hole! Damn! It's a trap! No wonder all those people died."

Always incredibly curious, once the pain subsided, he immediately wanted to go in and take a look. After observing for a while, he lowered his head and headed towards the deeper passage.

The passage was about two zhang high and two chi wide. Because of rainwater and filth on the surface, and because no one had walked there for years, it was filled with a musty smell.

Bao Hong carefully groped his way forward in the dark, waterlogged passage, the sound of his feet splashing through the water echoing in the darkness.

Suddenly, he heard a "whoosh!" A dark shadow shot towards his face. Startled, he hurriedly dodged, lost his balance, and fell to the ground with a

"thud," his entire backside submerged in water.

He quickly stood up, staring wide-eyed around.

However—the tunnel was extremely dark, with only "whoosh" and "crackling" sounds coming from ahead, but he couldn't see what was coming.

He cautiously pressed himself against the right side of the stone wall.

After a while, the terrifying sounds gradually disappeared.

He breathed a sigh of relief and thought to himself, "Damn! How could there be such a thing in this kind of ghostly place?" He carefully continued forward.

After the tunnel turned, it gradually sloped upwards, and Bao Hong began to climb using all four limbs.

Just then, he suddenly heard—a strange sound coming from ahead.

The sound made Bao Hong completely bewildered.

"Crack!" "Sizzle!" There were rapid panting sounds, and it seemed like there were also groans.

Although Bao Hong, who was only thirteen or fourteen years old, had spent a lot of time in the local area, fought a lot, and seen a lot, he had never heard such a strange sound before.

He curiously and quietly climbed over.

The strange sound became clearer and clearer, but he became more and more puzzled.

After a while—he felt that he had reached the end, and he was blocked by a wooden plank. He reached out and pushed, but it didn't budge.

Just then—he heard: "Oh...oh...good brother...dear brother...ah...ouch...so good...ouch...I...fly...fly..."

Wow! Advertising "so good!"

Bao Hong followed the sound and finally found a hole the size of a coin in the wooden board. He immediately peered inside!

He saw—two white figures twisting and turning, and he was startled.

Looking closer, he saw two naked bodies shaking violently on a coffin lid placed on the ground.

The two people were about ten feet away from where Bao Hong was hiding. Because their backs were to him, Bao Hong couldn't see their faces.

Wow! What were they doing?

The way they were hugging each other clearly indicated they were good friends, but even the best of friends shouldn't be hugging so tightly while naked!

Besides, "men and women shouldn't touch each other!"

But—why was the person on top so fierce?

The woman above was already groaning and panting, begging for mercy, but he still wouldn't let her go!

Damn! Killing someone is one thing, but this is too much!

When Bao Hong fights, if the other person begs for mercy, he always lets them go. Damn, this isn't how you bully someone!

That woman is really strange; she's already begging for mercy, but her body is still twisting and struggling. Damn, she's definitely trying to feign defeat; she's cunning enough.

Luckily, the man didn't fall for it!

Bao Hong secretly cheered for the man!

Every time the man thrust, the woman groaned.

Bao Hong secretly cheered.

Damn! This guy is really "top-notch," a true "master." He can beat someone until they're grimacing and groaning just by practicing push-ups.

Amazing! Damn!

A real man should be like this.

Bao Hong gazed enviously at the man's five-inch-long, seven-eight-point-thick, dangling member, and subconsciously touched his own.

"Damn! That's

impressive! An eagle compared to a chick? How can you compare? Comparison is the thief of joy, best avoided."

Little did he know he was only thirteen or fourteen, not yet fully developed, while the other was a robust man in his thirties; the two were obviously incomparable.

Just as Bao Hong was filled with shame, he suddenly heard the man groan, his body immediately trembling. Bao Hong sensed something was wrong and cried out, "Damn! That's bad, he's going to lose!"

The man was experiencing waves of pleasure, gritting his teeth for a final thrust.

Bao Hong clenched his fists tightly, silently cheering, "Damn! You've got guts! Go! Go!"

...

The tight jade orifice was already overflowing with fluid.

"Ugh... don't rush... don't use so much force..."

After a series of rapid thrusts, the man's strength was also depleted, so he stopped, which made the woman anxious again.

It turned out she was enjoying the ecstasy of pleasure.

"Oh...you...you can't...you can't slow down...add more...use more force...push deeper...giggle...deeper...good..."

"Good mermaid, my slut, are you enjoying it!" The man thrust his hips forward, seemingly using all his strength to pump wildly.

"Ah...ah...it feels so good...I'm going to be...killed by you...I...faster...faster...ah...it's so wonderful...so good...I've never...been so comfortable...ah...it's truly wonderful...so wonderful...so incredibly comfortable..."

Suddenly—the woman cried out "Ah!" her limbs went limp, and she lay motionless.

The woman seemed completely paralyzed, still lying on her back on the coffin lid with her limbs spread apart, appearing to be utterly exhausted from the "pleasure."

Her once narrow and alluring "treasure clam," after the group's period of wild indulgence, had become a round hole only an inch wide.

At that moment—strains of saliva were seen flowing out, running along her chrysanthemum petals towards the coffin lid.

In an instant—a "zebra crossing" was drawn on the ground.

"Damn it! Shameless! Who pees lying down like that!" Bao Hong cursed under his breath.

What caught Bao Hong's attention most was Mei Niang's "southern *bang grass," now tightly spread on both sides of her "treasure clam" after being soaked in their sweat and thrusting together. The

"treasure clam" now resembled a fountain.

Bao Hong, being childlike, naturally stared curiously!

Suddenly—the burly man said softly, "You silly girl, I'm leaving. Don't lose that secret manual and that bottle of medicine." With that, he drifted away.

The moon was cold, the stars few.

Silence was deathly.

Bao Hong gazed at the middle-aged man's imposing appearance and robust physique, his heart filled with envy, thinking, "Wow! That's a real man."

Just then, Mei Niang, who had previously been limp and powerless, easily and slowly rose from the coffin lid.

Bao Hong's eyes lit up at the sight.

Wow! So beautiful!

Wow! Those bright, expressive eyes, that small, charming mouth, and those willow-leaf eyebrows, delicate nose, and black hair—a perfect match.

That oval face was captivating.

Even Bao Hong, a mere thirteen-year-old "ignorant" boy, would exclaim "water!" upon seeing her, demonstrating just how alluring she was.

Her snow-white skin was dazzling.

Her shapely, high breasts were proudly flat.

Her flat stomach made one want to reach out and touch it.

That captivating "treasure clam" had practically transformed into a mouth, and it was even "drooling"!

Wow! Judging by her age, she couldn't be more than seventeen or eighteen. Why did that person call her "Meiniang"?

Could "Meiniang" be her given name?

After standing up, Meiniang immediately darted towards a corner of the wall about ten feet away.

Due to the restriction of the "observation hole," she quickly disappeared.

She stood beside a coffin at the corner and gently lifted the coffin lid.

Wow! What was she doing lifting the coffin?

She bent down and reached into the coffin, taking out a small wooden box.

"Clang!" The box was opened.

She took out a booklet and a bottle from the box, muttering to herself, "Lai, you humiliated me today, but a year from now, see how I humiliate you." As she spoke, a cold glint flashed in her eyes, and she smiled sinisterly.

Her voice was icy and chilling, as if it floated from the underworld, making Bao Hong's heart pound wildly, as if he had fallen into an ice cellar.

Upon seeing her eyes, Bao Hong was even more startled!

"Damn! This 'Cha' could win a Golden Horse Award for acting; the change is so drastic."

"Damn! It seems she's definitely not from a respectable background. People kindly gave her these things, and she plans to punish them a year later."

Just as Bao Hong was pondering this, Meiniang closed the box.

After placing the wooden box in the coffin, she carefully closed the lid, muttering to herself, "To obtain the secret herbs and elixirs, this trip was truly worthwhile. I hope to acquire some more treasures in the future." Saying this, she walked to another coffin, took some clothes, and carefully put them on.

Bao Hong was initially wary of her, but upon seeing her swaying waist, twisting her round hips, and trembling breasts, he was completely dumbfounded.

Especially the way she dressed and tied her clothes—he secretly exclaimed, "Wow! I never imagined such beautiful movements!"

Clearly, this mysterious girl had received "etiquette training," hence her graceful movements even when she thought no one was around.

Bao Hong stared intently at her movements, his heart pounding.

His mind was filled with wild thoughts.

After what seemed like an eternity, he looked around and realized that Meiniang was nowhere to be seen.

He was greatly surprised!

He turned and looked for a long time, but couldn't find her.

"Wow! Could she be gone?"

Bao Hong felt as if he had kicked something protruding, and the wooden plank in front of him suddenly tilted forward, almost causing him to fall flat on his face.

Fortunately, he was agile and used his right hand to brace himself against the wall, avoiding a face-first fall.

Although he didn't fall, he was startled.

He hurriedly glanced at what he had kicked and saw it was a piece of metal with a spring mechanism. He kicked it again.

Wow! Amazing! The wooden panel closed automatically again.

Quietly, how fun!

Bao Hong kicked it again out of curiosity.

Sure enough—the wooden panel quietly flipped forward again.

He kicked it once more, and the panel quietly closed again. He thought to himself with delight, "Wow! I'll try to design the doors like this when I get back. One kick opens, one kick closes, so I don't have to bother with my hands." Then, he gave it a light kick.

The inner wooden door opened, and he quietly slipped inside.

He saw—the room was quite spacious, with more than ten unpainted coffins covered in dust. They were scattered around, and a small lamp burned in each corner.

Wow! Those two people looked exactly alike, yet they came to this gloomy, filthy warehouse to "fight"—it was truly baffling.

Curious, Bao Hong walked to the coffin where Meiniang had placed the wooden box.

He curiously lifted the lid, only to find it surprisingly heavy, and with a forceful pull

, he yanked it open. However, he used too much force, and with a loud "bang," the entire lid fell to the ground. Dust immediately billowed from the room.

Bao Hong was startled.

After the wooden door closed again, he let out a deep breath and muttered to himself, "Holy crap! That was terrifying! How could it be so loud? I wonder if that 'Cha' heard anything?"

Little did he know, Meiniang was already gone.

He calmly hid for a while, making sure "Cha" wasn't there, before gently kicking the iron plate, immediately flipping back out from under the overturned planks.

Peeking inside, he saw the wooden box lying obediently in the coffin. He immediately bent down, but couldn't remove it.

He placed the wooden box on the edge of the coffin and, imitating Meiniang, pressed the spring-loaded button. With a "clang," the lid immediately popped open automatically.

Inside, he found a small booklet and a small bottle, along with a stack of papers. Bao Hong curiously picked up the booklet to take a look.

On the cover, he saw the five characters "Taigong Wang's Secret Manual" written in a flamboyant style.

He'd heard the name "Grandpa" from the storyteller…

"Wow! That old fellow was really something back in the day! His methods actually worked! Maybe if I, an old man, got my hands on it, I could become a high-ranking official! Wow! It's outrageous!" With that, he immediately confiscated the medicine and stuffed it into his pocket. He then picked up the small bottle and looked at it. There was a label on it with a small line of text: "Nine-Turn Divine Pill, a unique innate treasure. Take one pill daily for daily benefits."

Curious, he opened the stopper and smelled a fragrant medicinal aroma. He couldn't help but exclaim, "Wow! Looks like a real tonic!" He then put it away again.

He looked at the wooden box again and saw a large stack of papers inside. Curious, he picked one up and examined it closely: "Wow! A thousand taels of gold! Unbelievable! Is that even possible?" He grabbed a stack of silver notes, pulled out five from different merchants, and stuffed them into his pocket. Then, he put the remaining silver notes back into the wooden box.

He covered the box with the lid, placed it in the coffin, and then closed the coffin lid before crawling back into the tunnel.

He kicked the iron plate again, closed the wooden planks, and carefully made his way towards the exit.

This time, having been harassed before, he wasn't as terrified when faced with the scurrying monsters (bats).

Finally managing to climb up the sloping tunnel, he breathed a sigh of relief. Looking up at the sky, it was probably already past four in the morning.

He checked his pockets; the manual and medicine bottle were still there. After a moment's thought, he hurried home.

Back in his room, he changed into clean clothes, sat at the table, and took out the Grandfather's Manual and the medicine bottle, fiddling with them.

A moment later—he opened the manual and began to examine it carefully.

Although the book was only half a foot wide, a foot long, and an inch wide, its contents were all-encompassing: internal energy cultivation, lightness skills, palm techniques, finger techniques, swordsmanship, hidden weapons, formations… and so on.

The manual clearly states that practice must be done in sequence, otherwise the effect will be poor.

Bao Hong, however, read the entire book in one go.

But then—he muttered to himself, "Damn! Did I even understand it? I'm completely confused. Damn! This Taigong Wang also likes to build things haphazardly. Even someone who doesn't know martial arts can eventually learn the skills in the manual with patience. Why am I so dizzy?"

Suddenly—his gaze fell on the small bottle.

He immediately pondered, "Old Taigong Wang said that this 'Nine-Turn Pill' can improve mental clarity and enhance internal strength. I should try it!"

So, he poured out several pills into his palm.

Each pill was emerald green and only the size of a grain of rice. He couldn't help but exclaim, "Wow! This old man is just 'selling his own wares'!"

But a pleasant fragrance wafted from it. Curious, he picked up a pill and popped it into his mouth, intending to chew it. To his surprise, the pill melted instantly.

"Wow! Sweet, fragrant, and delicious!"

He immediately poured all the dozens of pills from his palm into his mouth, feeling a cool liquid flow down his throat and into his stomach.

Just as Bao Hong closed the bottle, he suddenly heard a gurgling sound in his stomach, followed by a loud fart.

Bao Hong frowned, waving his right hand in front of his nose, thinking, "Wow! People say loud farts don't smell bad, how come this one smells so bad?"

Just then—he suddenly felt a sharp pain in his abdomen.

"Wow!" he cried out.

He clutched his lower abdomen with both hands, rubbing his navel.

Unexpectedly, the cramping pain intensified and spread rapidly throughout his body, causing him to jump around the room, clutching a chair.

This was Bao Hong's self-created "first aid" technique; whenever he was beaten, a few jumps would immediately alleviate the pain.

However, instead of relieving the pain, the jumping intensified it, making him writhe on the floor.

He gritted his teeth, afraid to make a sound so as not to disturb his adoptive parents and teacher.

He was drenched in cold sweat. He cursed

inwardly, "Grandpa Wang, you old devil! You old tortoise! You old bastard! You old scoundrel! You really know how to trick people!"

"Damn it! You have to protect me! If I die, I'll sue you before the King of Hell, and I'll even sue the Jade Emperor!"

He felt as if he'd been struck by lightning—"Boom!"—and collapsed to the ground.

...

After an unknown amount of time, when he awoke, he heard his mother, Li Heshi, weeping at the door, his teacher sitting on the edge of the bed with a worried expression, and his father pacing back and forth in the room.

Bao Hong hurriedly called out, "Father, Mother, Teacher!"

Li Heshi was overjoyed and immediately rushed forward to hug Bao Hong tightly, sobbing, "Hong'er, my darling, thank God you're not dead! You scared your mother to death!" As she spoke, she faced the door and repeatedly knelt down, bowing in gratitude.

Li Shui, after all, was a man who had made his way in the world.

A moment later—he immediately asked, “Hong’er, what happened?”

“Holy crap! I’m totally confused! After taking that powerful tonic from that bottle, my whole body aches, and I don’t know anything anymore.”

Li He’s mother hurriedly said, “Oh dear! How could you take medicine so casually? It’s very dangerous. If you’re not feeling well, go see a doctor!”

The old scholar, who knew a little about medicine, quickly went over to get the medicine bottle, poured out a pill, smelled it, and immediately praised, “Good medicine, Hong’er, where did you get this holy medicine that benefits the spirit and heals injuries?”

Hong was stunned upon hearing this!

After a long while—he mumbled, “Holy crap! What should I say?”

The old scholar then licked the pill with the tip of his tongue. A cool sensation ran down his tongue, and the pill instantly turned into a medicinal juice that stuck to his palm. The old scholar immediately “sprayed” it into his mouth. Seeing this,

Bao Hong hurriedly said, "Damn it! Teacher, be careful of a stomachache!"

The old master suddenly said, "Don't worry, just one pill won't hurt."

"Damn it! If that's the case, how come Hong'er fainted from the pain?"

The old master laughed, "Hong'er, you're like 'Pigsy eating ginseng fruit—not knowing the taste.' Eating so much at once caused indigestion, of course you fainted from the pain."

"Damn it! I see!"

Chapter Two:

More than a thousand days, and how many places they had passed through...

Every night during these days, under the old master's supervision, Bao Hong practiced his skills at Huiyan Peak without interruption.

Tonight—a desolate night.

The old master suddenly didn't come.

Bao Hong was practicing alone.

A moment later—suddenly—among the flock of geese flying around the peak, a miserable cry rang out, and a goose with a broken wing fell to the peak, dying tragically on the jagged, sharp rocks.

Seeing this, Bao Hong sighed softly and muttered to himself, "Damn! Another goose has eaten too much and died for its mate!" Legend has it that this was a lone goose that lost its mate mid-night while flying, and it shed its blood in a final act of devotion.

But—Bao Hong thought it was foolish. Why not just find a new mate? Why be so heartless as to commit suicide for love?

Every season, thousands of lone geese would tragically die by throwing stones at the foot of Returning Goose Peak.

Just as Bao Hong finished speaking, another mournful cry rang out from among the geese.

But this cry wasn't just mournful; it was piercingly horrific!

He had heard countless cries of lone geese throwing stones for love here, but none had sounded so piercing. Just as he was startled, a pair of geese flew towards his face

like arrows. Bao Hong reacted swiftly, reaching out and grabbing the fleeting geese in mid-air.

A three-inch-long, swallowtail-shaped steel dart was embedded in the goose's beak.

In this dim, desolate starlight, to be able to shoot a goose with a dart—the man's martial arts skills were truly exceptional! Wow! Need I say more?

Bao Hong, greatly shocked, suddenly turned around.

There he saw—no more than ten feet away—stood blankly a woman with a black veil, a face as white as powder, and large breasts.

Wow! Her appearance was truly frightening.

He felt a chill run down his spine, and an involuntary shiver ran through him.

Given his personality, he would have already asked, but he only remembered the old master's instructions. Therefore, he simply raised his right arm, threw the dead goose he was holding down the mountain, and stared at his opponent.

The woman with large breasts and a black veil let out two sinister laughs and said, "Are you Bao Hong?"

Her two cold, star-like eyes darted between her long eyelashes. "That's right, I am Bao Hong! Who are you? How do you know my name?"

The woman with large breasts and a black veil glared at him with a venomous and hateful light.

She stared at Bao Hong and let out two more sinister laughs. "Li Hou, the eldest son of the Hongmen in southern Sichuan, has a resounding reputation. Who doesn't know him?" As she spoke, she suddenly burst into laughter.

Before the laughter had even faded, she gracefully moved and appeared in front of Bao Hong, no more than two feet away. Her right arm flashed like lightning, reaching for Bao Hong's face.

Her movement, both graceful and swift, was faster than lightning.

Standing atop the peak, Bao Hong was utterly helpless. Even if there were a place to hide, he probably wouldn't have had time to dodge that attack! Just as he

was in dire straits,

suddenly—the woman with the large breasts and black veil abruptly withdrew her outstretched fingers, sighing inwardly, thinking, "Why did I do this?"

Then—she swayed, retreating two zhang away, her eyes shooting out beams of light as she stared at Bao Hong for a long while before turning and flying down the peak.

Bao Hong was somewhat bewildered, completely confused, but he felt a strange feeling and desire towards this woman with the large breasts and black veil.

This feeling was—why did she want to kill him? And why did she withdraw her outstretched fingers just when he was in dire straits, with nothing left but to close his eyes and await death?

Damn! It's truly incomprehensible!

So—he too floated down the peak.

Along the way—he kept thinking, repeatedly pondering the intentions of that woman with the large breasts and black veil.

"Damn it! Why did she suddenly attack me, only to withdraw her hand at the last moment and change her mind? Does she have a grudge against me? I haven't done anything to bring her bad luck... Who exactly is she?"

He was truly racking his brains.

Just then, suddenly—the sky changed drastically.

The dim starlight from before was now obscured by layers of dark clouds.

The earth was plunged into darkness, followed by—lightning flashes and thunder, and torrential rain.

Damn it! It's raining heavily!

Upon seeing the rain, Bao Hong thought to himself, "Huiyan Peak is only a few miles from Wanxian. I might as well go into the city and get home first." With that thought, he used his lightness skill to run away.

Just then, he suddenly heard a scream, which startled him, and he quickly stopped.

His handsome eyes shone brightly as he carefully searched the area around the official road in the wind and rain.

The flashing lightning pierced through the dense rain, illuminating the surroundings as bright as day.

Amidst the flickering lightning, Bao Hong spotted two men hiding side-by-side in a sparse grove of trees on the right side of the official road.

Intrigued, he approached them and peered into their bodies by the dim light.

He saw that both were handsome young men around twenty years old, but they were already dead. Strangely, their bodies were perfectly intact, without a single trace of blood or wound.

This was truly bizarre, and someone as inquisitive as him couldn't ignore it.

So—he examined the two corpses carefully again, confirming there were indeed no injuries. Then, he bent down, reaching out to pry open one of the corpses to see if it had been poisoned. Just as

his fingers touched the lips, he suddenly heard—amidst the raging wind and rain—a hoarse, mournful voice shout, "Don't touch him!"

Bao Hong jumped in fright, quickly withdrawing his hand, straightening up, and looking towards the source of the voice.

In the dense, misty rain, a gaunt old man with long, flowing hair, dressed in a white cloth shirt soaked to the bone, staggered towards them.

Even from a distance, his appearance was terrifying.

Bao Hong, unsure of his identity, quickly braced himself, ready to fight, and shouted, "Who are you?"

Whether the roar of the wind and rain was too loud, the old man either didn't hear him or deliberately ignored him.

He remained silent, continuing his staggering run towards Bao Hong.

Bao Hong was about to speak again, asking his name and warning him to stop. Before he could finish speaking, the old man abruptly stopped five or six steps away.

At this point, the two were very close.

Using the flash of lightning, Bao Hong carefully examined the old man's withered face and, in shock, took two large steps back.

The old man's face was withered and pale, as if coated with white wax. His eyes were empty, just two huge black holes, seemingly bottomless abysses, their depths unknown. Blood continuously trickled from the corner of his mouth.

Bao Hong, though startled by the man's terrifying appearance and taking two large steps back, quickly realized something. He thought to himself, "This strange old man, though blind, walks with the speed of a whirlwind, almost as fast as someone who hasn't lost their sight. And the blood flowing from his mouth suggests severe internal injuries. Yet, he can withstand the storm without collapsing; his martial arts are truly terrifying!"

Thinking this, he was about to politely ask the old man his name, his purpose, and the reason for his severe injuries.

Before Bao Hong could speak, the strange old man preemptively asked, "Young man, are you Bao Hong, the adopted son of Li Hou, the leader of the Southern Sichuan Hongmen?"

Bao Hong was even more stunned to see that this terrifying old man knew his name. He exclaimed, "Wow! I am indeed Bao Hong! How did you know?"

The strange old man, seemingly surprised that he had guessed correctly, hurriedly said, "It's a long story, we'll talk about it later! Right now, something important is about to happen. Quickly check the necks of these two useless scoundrels for any injuries. Then, carefully search within a ten-foot radius of the corpses for anything suspicious. If you find anything, do not touch it."

Bao Hong was taken aback.

After a pause, he said, "Holy crap! What? These two young men, who met such a tragic end and lie dead in the wilderness, were your disciples, old master?"

The strange old man nodded sadly and said, "Of all evils, lust is the worst. I always used the words 'abstain from lust' to repeatedly warn them, but I never expected them to ignore me, treating it like a fart. That's why they're lying here in such a miserable state."

After a moment, he added, "However, on the other hand, if those two wicked disciples really did encounter that female demon, even with the best martial arts and the most upright mindset, they couldn't escape her extremely alluring beauty and seductive laughter, and ultimately met a tragic end."

After the strange old man finished speaking, Bao Hong had already examined the back of the two corpses' necks.

He found an extremely fine red dot about an inch from the back of each person's neck, so fine that it looked like a mosquito bite.

He was also puzzled, thinking, "Damn! Can such a tiny red dot really kill someone?"

So, in a dismissive tone, he said, "Apart from a tiny red dot on the 'sealing the mouth' acupoints on the back of their necks, there are no other injuries."

The strange old man nodded silently.

Then, he slowly added, "Just as I expected, examine the ground nearby carefully again. Is there anything there?"

For a moment, Bao Hong couldn't understand the meaning behind the old man's words and was quite puzzled, but he was too embarrassed to refuse his request, so he focused his attention on searching within a ten-foot radius of the corpse.

At that moment—the thunder and lightning stopped, the storm had passed.

The sky cleared, the stars shone brightly, and in the post-rain atmosphere of late autumn, the sky was exceptionally clear, the earth illuminated by the starlight, appearing exceptionally serene and beautiful.

Bao Hong searched the nearby grass but didn't find anything "obstructing his view," and was about to tell the old man when suddenly

—he caught sight of a rootless but blooming purplish-red rose lying on the grass at his feet.

Seeing the delicate and vibrant purple rose, Bao Hong forgot his annoyance at the old man's respectful address and bent down to pick it up.

Just inches from the flower, Bao Hong heard a sharp shout from behind: "Don't touch it!"

Hearing this, Bao Hong suddenly realized what had happened, remembering the terrifying old man's words: "Never touch anything!"

He quickly withdrew his hand, straightened his posture, and turned around. There, standing behind him, was a young woman in a tight-fitting

silk dress, a long sword tucked into her back! This woman was extremely beautiful, with a rosy complexion, delicate eyebrows, and a captivating charm.

She had initially been stern-faced and menacing, but the moment Bao Hong turned around, she froze, her eyes fixed on his face, unmoving.

Her murderous intent

vanished instantly, replaced by a gentle smile.

Bao Hong was stunned by this sudden appearance of beauty.

At his age, he seemed to lack any concept of lust. He wasn't simply captivated by the young woman's alluring charm, standing there dumbfounded. Rather, he was completely unaware that she had fallen behind him!

And there was also a strange old man who appeared disabled but was actually highly skilled in martial arts, standing to the side, equally oblivious. His exceptional lightness skill alone surpassed both his own and the old man's.

After a long while—Bao Hongcai shouted, "Who the hell are you? What are you doing here?"

"Oh!..."

the woman in black shrieked, then said, "You're really biting the hand that feeds you—you don't appreciate kindness! If I hadn't stopped you from picking that poisonous rose, this right arm probably wouldn't be yours anymore. Besides, this isn't a forbidden area, why can't I come here? Why are you being so fierce?"

Bao Hong raised an eyebrow and said, "Damn! Martial arts people value open and aboveboard actions. Of course you can come and go as you please here. But I want to ask you, you secretly and silently landed behind me, were you trying to ambush me?"

The woman in black raised an eyebrow and said, "Do I need to secretly attack someone as brainless as you? I can beat you in a fight openly. But I don't have time to fight you now. I'll fight you after I finish my business." As soon as she finished speaking, her expression suddenly changed, and a murderous aura appeared. She turned her lithe body and slowly approached the blind old man step by step. She

stopped abruptly when she was about seven or eight steps away from the old man.

She coldly said, "Supreme Venerable Tian Fengyun, since you are seriously injured, you are unlikely to be able to keep the Dragon-Patterned Cauldron. I hope you can hand it over to me before the heroes arrive, lest this ancient artifact fall into the hands of unscrupulous people, causing chaos and endless bloodshed in the martial world."

However—Supreme Venerable Tian Fengyun chuckled coldly twice and said, "Good or bad, it's hard to say right now. Do you think you, Ruyun Jade Maiden Sima Jiaojiao, are the best person in the world?"

These words left Ruyun Jade Maiden Sima Jiaojiao stunned!

Indeed, a good person wouldn't have the ambition to seize this Dragon-Patterned Cauldron.

Anyone who comes to seize such a rare treasure harbors immense ambition. They want to comprehend the perilous martial arts techniques lost for three hundred years within this cauldron and become the greatest martial arts master of the day!

As the beautiful maiden Ruyun was lost in thought, several sharp whistles pierced the air, followed by three figures moving with the speed of arrows, landing around the Supreme Venerable Tian Fengyun.

Although blind, Supreme Venerable Tian Fengyun possessed exceptionally keen hearing and knew that the newcomers were no ordinary martial artists.

Perhaps they were the three Wudang disciples from an hour ago, whom he had risked his life to seize the Dragon Pattern Cauldron, only to have their internal organs injured by their fierce palm strikes! Therefore, he quickly channeled his inner energy, preparing for battle.

Supreme Venerable Tian Fengyun's guess was indeed correct; the newcomers were indeed the three Wudang disciples, all dressed in Taoist robes, with long swords strapped to their backs.

The eldest, Qingxin, also the leader of the Wudang Sect, sneered first, saying, "Tian Fengyun, you've been struck by my Xuan Yin Palm. The Xuan Yin energy has already seeped into your internal organs. Within three hours, your entire body will feel like ice, and you'll vomit blood and die. Unless you take my unique antidote, I think you'd better return that Dragon Pattern Cauldron to me quickly, or you'll only face death." Before

Tian Fengyun could reply

, Wuyuzi, the second of the three Wudang disciples, angrily said, "Brother, why waste words with this kind of person? Let's act quickly!"

The third, Minglingzi, echoed, "Second brother is right, it's useless to talk to him!" With that, he launched the first attack.

His Taoist robes fluttered as he lunged at the Supreme Venerable, striking with a palm strike.

As Minglingzi launched his attack, Qingxinzi and Wuyuzi also rushed towards the Supreme Venerable, three incredibly powerful palm strikes coming from three directions!

The Wudang Sect is one of the eight major sects in the martial arts world. In terms of martial arts and swordsmanship, only the Shaolin Sect can rival them; the other sects are far inferior.

However, the three Wudang disciples, whose martial arts are exceptional and who hold near-leadership positions, unexpectedly disregarded the martial arts rule of one-on-one combat and launched a combined attack on a blind and severely injured Supreme Venerable!

Anyone present with a modicum of justice should have lent a hand to the Supreme Venerable.

Unfortunately—Bao Hong was not a member of the martial arts world; he had no intention of seizing the Dragon Pattern Cauldron, so he didn't want to get involved and cause trouble.

Sima Jiaojiao, the Jade Maiden, however, thrived on chaos. She hoped the three Wudang disciples would kill the Supreme Venerable and seize the Dragon Pattern Cauldron, then she could take it from them.

In her mind, this would be much easier than taking it from the Supreme Venerable.

The three Wudang disciples possessed incredibly powerful and fierce skills, their palm strikes coming from three directions with the force of a tidal wave. Even Venerable Wu-Yu, with his unparalleled martial arts, could hardly withstand it.

However—he was determined to fight to the death, and with a roar, he used the "Giant Crane Soaring to the Sky" technique, lifting himself three zhang high, while three fierce palm strikes swept past

his feet. Although Venerable Wu-Yu was not affiliated with any sect, his martial arts were taught by a strange person, and he lived in seclusion in a cave on Mount Heng, his martial arts had reached a state of perfection. He stopped three zhang high in the air, headfirst, and plummeted down.

At the same time, his palms crossed, unleashing a series of strikes, the whistling palm winds aimed at the faces of the three Wudang disciples.

He attacked with hatred, his series of palm strikes gathering decades of internal energy, their power astonishing. The three Wudang disciples dared not take it head-on, and simultaneously, with lightning speed, they leaped out in three directions.

Even so, Wu-Yu was still slightly slower.

The fierce palm wind that descended from mid-air half-encircled his left shoulder, causing him to feel dizzy, his vision to blur, and he coughed up two mouthfuls of blood, nearly collapsing to the ground.

Seeing his second brother injured, Qingxinzi could not bear it. He turned and raised his right hand, unleashing the Xuan Yin Palm with the force of a thunderbolt, striking towards the Supreme Venerable's still-unsteady body.

Simultaneously—Minglingzi drew his longsword from his back, and with a flick of his wrist, used the "Northern Sea Rainbow" technique to slash at the Supreme Venerable Tian Fengyun's waist.

The palm strike and the longsword struck almost simultaneously, landing at the same time. The Supreme Venerable, already severely injured and blind, and whose footing was still unsteady, had no chance to retaliate, let alone dodge.

A loud "bang!" echoed as the Xuan Yin palm struck the Supreme Venerable squarely in the chest. Simultaneously, a tearing sound rang out as Ming Lingzi's longsword ripped a foot-long gash in his white robe, wounding his flesh. The dragon-patterned cauldron rolled out of the tear and landed on the ground.

The Supreme Venerable, Tian Fengyun, staggered back several steps, spitting out a large mouthful of blood before collapsing to the ground.

The dragon-patterned cauldron, lost for three thousand years, was only about the size of a rice bowl. After the Supreme Venerable had taken it from Qing Xinzi, he placed it in the pocket of his white robe.

Of the three Wudang disciples, Ming Lingzi was the most observant. Noticing the slight bulge at the Supreme Venerable's waist, he knew the cauldron was in his pocket.

Therefore, his "Northern Sea Rainbow" sweeping attack wasn't intended to kill the Supreme Venerable, but rather to tear his robe and seize the precious cauldron.

Sure enough, he succeeded; the sword ripped through his clothes, and the cauldron fell to the ground.

Upon seeing the dragon-patterned cauldron on the ground, the three Wudang disciples pounced simultaneously.

Just as Qingxinzi grasped the cauldron, his right wrist was seized, and at the same time, a flash of snow-white jade wrist appeared before his eyes, and the dragon-patterned cauldron was snatched away.

Qingxinzi was greatly surprised. Turning around, he saw that the one who had snatched the dragon-patterned cauldron was none other than the Jade Maiden Sima Jiaojiao, who was already standing about six or seven feet away from the three Wudang disciples.

The Jade Maiden Sima Jiaojiao held the dragon-patterned cauldron in her hands, smiling faintly at the three Wudang disciples.

Sima Jiaojiao truly lived up to her nickname "Ruyun" (meaning "like clouds"). The three Wudang disciples, all renowned masters in the martial arts world, and Qingxinzi, a grandmaster of his own school, failed to discern the movement technique Ruyun Yun Nu used. She moved with lightning speed, snatching the treasure cauldron from their side and then landing several feet away.

Just then—suddenly—an extremely foul stench of rotting corpses assaulted their nostrils. The three Wudang disciples and Ruyun Yun Nu were simultaneously startled. A black shadow, like a falling star, brushed past Ruyun Yun Nu.

Ruyun Yun Nu felt a strange, nauseating stench that made her head spin; she couldn't even make out the person's appearance, simply standing there, stunned and bewildered.

The three Wudang disciples could only vaguely make out that the person was a strange figure dressed entirely in black, with a black veil covering their face.

But their eagerness to seize the treasure disregarded who the black-clad, masked figure was.

The three of them simultaneously stretched out their bodies and chased after the black-clad strange figure.

A moment later—the Jade Maiden Ruyun finally regained her senses. Seeing that the three Wudang disciples and the Supreme Venerable were all gone, she turned around and found Bao Hong nowhere to be seen either.

In the pitch-black wilderness, only she and two corpses remained. Bao Hong, unwilling to be involved in the vortex of their struggle for the Dragon Pattern Cauldron, had already quietly entered Wanxian and returned home.
