[Fantasy] A Eunuch Breaks into the Inner Palace (Complete) - 10

In Chapter Three of the third episode

, after several rounds of drinks and dishes, the concubines and princesses, half-drunk and flushed, were playfully teasing each other. Feeling a surge of heat, some of the beauties couldn't resist revealing their breasts, causing a nearby eunuch, whose eyes were still half-closed, to gleam with lust.
Li Xiaomin, watching the slightly intoxicated allure of Consort Chen and Consort Yun not far away, secretly plotted: "These two young ladies are much more tempting when they're drunk. Why not spend the night in either of their palaces and have a double dose of pleasure?"
Just as a smug smile appeared on Li Xiaomin's lips, a heavy punch suddenly struck him on the head, jolting him awake. The pain almost made him cry out.
Fortunately, having been a eunuch for so long, he knew his place and the rules of the palace, and swallowed his scream so as not to disturb his masters. He turned around, glaring angrily at the person who had attacked him.
One glance was enough to make him wilt, his back buckling. He bowed deeply, inwardly lamenting that the small favor he'd taken a few nights ago would now be repaid.
Standing before him was an exceptionally beautiful little girl, now dressed in the elegant attire of a princess. She glared angrily at the eunuch who had dared to molest her, then raised her leg and kicked him hard in the leg.
Li Xiaomin endured the pain, not daring to cry out, and was kicked to the ground, clutching his leg and groaning inwardly.
This act was mostly feigned. If he acted as if nothing had happened, Princess Anping might be even angrier, seeing that he wasn't afraid of being kicked, and kick him
even harder. Princess Anping's anger subsided somewhat after seeing him fall. Although she still wanted to kick him a few more times to avenge her being forcibly molested, several concubines were already looking in their direction with astonishment in their eyes. Princess Anping dared not go too far, lest her mother see and reprimand her.
She crouched down, grabbed the eunuch's ear, and whispered through gritted teeth, "Hmph, how did you treat me the other day? Now tell me, how are you going to make it up to me?"
Li Xiaomin looked miserable and said in a pitiful voice, "This servant has nothing of value to offer in return. How about I repay you with my body? What does the princess say?"
Princess Anping was furious. She raised her small fist and punched him on the head, making Li Xiaomin dizzy and swaying. He thought to himself, "Is it a hereditary trait among you sisters? You all love to hit people on the head! Luckily, Qingling doesn't do that, or I would have no way to survive!"
Just as he was worrying, he suddenly heard a piercing scream: "The Emperor has arrived!"
All the concubines were startled by the sound. Li Yu hadn't attended the Empress's birthday celebration for more than ten years. Why would he be in the mood to celebrate the Empress's birthday this time?
Although puzzled, the concubines and princesses still knelt down to greet him and said sweetly, "Welcome, Your Majesty!"
Li Xiaomin was shocked. It wasn't so bad that the Emperor had come, but he really didn't want to kowtow to this eunuch emperor. If he kowtowed to a beautiful woman, he might have a chance to recoup his investment in bed later. But kowtowing to this eunuch emperor... did he really have to...?
Li Xiaomin shook his head violently, banishing this disgusting thought from his mind. Before Li Yu and his entourage entered the main hall, he scrambled and crawled to a side door, disappearing inside and refusing to come out.
Princess Anping was about to punch him a few more times when she heard her father arrive. The little eunuch had slipped away through the side door, but she couldn't do what he did, disregarding her status. She could only kneel and bow to her father, feeling frustrated and plotting how to slowly deal with this lecherous eunuch.
Li Yu strode into the main hall through the south-facing gate, looking haggard and much thinner than before he became a eunuch.
Behind him, a young man in magnificent robes followed closely behind. Li Xiaomin peeked out from behind the small door. He saw a man dressed in princely robes, his face grim, a cold smile playing on his lips, as if he had succeeded in some scheme.
Li Xiaomin felt a surge of unease at the sight of him. It wasn't that the man was ugly; in fact, he was quite handsome. It was just the cold, ruthless aura he exuded, the cruel smile on his lips, that suggested this young man was inherently vicious. Anyone who offended him would likely die a gruesome death.
Behind the prince, an old Taoist priest swaggered in. This man wore a brand-new Taoist robe, his hair tied high, and a Taoist crown, giving him an air of otherworldly wisdom. However, his face was too thin, with a hooked nose, making him look like an eagle. He emanated a chilling aura, giving off a sinister feeling.
Seeing this man made Li Xiaomin feel even more uncomfortable than before. For some reason, Li Xiaomin felt that this person exuded an aura of death, more unbearable than being with a horde of vengeful ghosts.
A large group of eunuchs escorted the emperor and the two men into the hall, leading them up the jade steps. Empress Zhou bowed several times, then tactfully descended the steps, relinquishing this prominent position to Li Yu.
Li Yu sat down behind the table, coughed lightly, and said weakly, "Rise, all of you!"
The concubines and princesses gracefully rose and, at Li Yu's command, returned to their seats behind the table to listen to His Majesty's instructions.
Li Yu surveyed the room full of beauties, a look of shame and dejection in his eyes. He wanted to say something, but couldn't utter a word. He picked up his wine cup, took a sip, and stared blankly at the beautiful women.
Hiding behind the small door, Li Xiaomin felt a pang of sympathy. Seeing the despair in his eyes, he sighed inwardly, "How pitiful! He has so many beautiful wives, yet he can't enjoy any of them. Being a eunuch, it's truly not a life for a human being!"
Li Yu pondered for a long while, then turned around and gestured to his eldest son, Li Xiong, to speak for him.
Li Xiong understood, bowed to Li Yu, stepped forward, and stood on the platform, proclaiming loudly, "Father has decreed that His Majesty's health has recently deteriorated, which is attributed to the interference of a malevolent spirit. Today, this spirit will be found and punished!" Upon
hearing this, all the palace concubines and princesses were greatly shocked. Li Xiaomin was also startled and cursed inwardly, "How dare you call me a treacherous person? You're tired of living! Oh no, how did this old eunuch know that I was the one who did this to him? This is not good. It seems that I can't stay in this palace. I have to make a run for it!" Just
as he was thinking about how to escape, he suddenly heard Empress Zhou step forward and report, "Your Majesty, what does this mean? Who is this so-called treacherous person?"
Li Yu did not answer, but only looked at the thin and withered old Taoist priest to the side. Li Xiong bowed respectfully to Empress Zhou and said, "Your Majesty, this Immortal Master Dongyingzi possesses extraordinary magical powers. He has come to Jinling this time to share the Emperor's burdens and to find the culprit who plotted against him. The Emperor has decreed that he may act freely within the palace to thoroughly investigate the matter."
The old Taoist priest slowly walked out, bowed slightly, and asked Li Yu, "Your Majesty, may I ask which consort's palace you were in when you first fell ill?"
Li Yu, holding a wine cup, frowned slightly and hesitated before replying, "It seems to have been in Consort Yun's palace."
Everyone in the hall looked at Consort Yun, who was terrified and fell to the ground, her body trembling. She had already secretly guessed that it must have been that little eunuch with sorcery who was behind it all, and now she was being made to take the blame for him.
Her gaze shifted to the side, and seeing the gleam in Xiao Minzi's eyes, devoid of any panic, she immediately swallowed her words, not daring to accuse him of his despicable actions.
Having been slept with by Li Xiaomin for so many days, Consort Yun was already terrified of his abuse. Under his accumulated power, she dared not utter a single word detrimental to him. Besides, if she exposed this wicked eunuch, he might turn around and accuse her of losing her virginity before his death; in any case, she would not escape being sentenced to death.
Dong Yingzi's sharp gaze pierced through the hall, landing directly on Consort Yun. After a long while, he sneered, "Indeed, this woman possesses Yin energy, no wonder she can harm the Emperor! That's alright, Your Majesty, please hand this woman of Yin energy over to me, and I will force out the Yin energy from her, preventing her from harming anyone again!"
He spoke in such a cryptic manner that no one could understand him, only filled with awe, knowing that these were celestial terms, which they, as mortals, could not comprehend. Only Li Xiaomin cursed inwardly, "This old ghost, he's playing tricks again, who is he trying to fool? What Yin energy, it's all made up! I've slept with her for so long, I've seen, touched, and played with every part of her body, if there's anything strange about her, do you think I wouldn't know?"
Li Yu's face showed anger, and he said in a trembling voice, "So it really was you who harmed me! Immortal Master, take her away, whether she lives or dies is up to you!"
A smug smile appeared on Dong Yingzi's lips as he bowed his head and accepted the order.
Seeing that Li Yu had decided Consort Yun's fate with a single word, all the concubines were terrified, their faces ashen, and they prostrated themselves on the ground, not daring to utter a sound for fear of causing trouble.
Only Consort Qin, from a family of military generals, was very bold. She raised her head and said, "Your Majesty! No one has ever heard of this Yin Sha theory. I'm afraid there are some strange aspects to it. I beg Your Majesty to temporarily withdraw your order and wait until the matter is investigated before taking any action!"
Li Xiong, however, sneered from the side, "May I ask, Consort Qin, is the Emperor's health more important, or is a woman carrying the Yin Sha more important? What is the reason for Consort Qin to disregard the Emperor's health?"
Consort Qin was speechless at his words. Anger appeared on her pretty face, but she was caught off guard by his accusation and had no way to respond. She could only glare at Li Xiong, her eyes blazing with anger and authority.
Seeing this, Empress Zhou was about to step forward to remonstrate, but Li Yu waved his hand and shouted, "Stop arguing! Immortal Master, tell me, what other woman is harmful to my health?"
Dong Yingzi narrowed his eyes, looking around, his gaze slowly sweeping across the faces of the beauties in the hall. All the concubines and princesses lowered their heads in panic, terrified that he would take a liking to them and they would end up like Consort Yun.
Dong Yingzi slowly looked over, and suddenly his eyes lit up. He stretched out his arm and pointed directly at a beautiful woman in palace attire, saying in a deep voice, "If this woman is not eliminated, the country will never have peace!"
Everyone was shocked and looked up. The beautiful woman he was pointing at, her face full of panic, was none other than Consort Xiao.
Li Xiaomin, inside the small door, pounded his chest and stamped his feet, his heart filled with shock and anger: "You old devil, how dare you slander the woman I love! She has such a fine temperament, gentle and graceful, incredibly intelligent, her skin so tender it could be squeezed for water, and you dare to say she's a scourge to the country! Just because I haven't shown my teeth does
n't mean I'm a pushover!" After a moment of shock, Consort Xiao quickly calmed down, gracefully bowed to Li Yu, and calmly said, "Your Majesty, if you say I'm a scourge to the country, what is your basis?"
Dong Yingzi sneered: "You possess an evil spirit, which hasn't manifested today, but if it does one day, I fear countless people in the palace will die! Your Majesty, this woman must be put to death today to prevent a great calamity!"
After saying this, he sang with his tongue, describing the evil spirit possessed by Consort Xiao as extremely terrifying, and said that if it wasn't eliminated today, it might develop into a great calamity in a few days. At that time, the death of many palace maids and concubines would be a minor matter; I fear even Your Majesty's health would be harmed.
He spoke eloquently, interspersed with mystical terminology, leaving Li Yu bewildered. He couldn't help but believe him, waving his hand and saying, "As the immortal master says, execute him!"
The concubines were stunned. To execute a palace concubine based solely on a Taoist's nonsense—at this rate, who knew when their own fate would be sealed!
Empress Zhou's face showed a hint of anger as she knelt before Li Yu, pleading earnestly, but Li Yu shook his head, ignoring her and ordering her to leave.
Qing Ling ran out from the crowd, kneeling beside Li Yu, clutching his clothes, desperately begging her father to spare her mother's life. This only further irritated Li Yu, who angrily kicked her away and stormed out with Li Xiong and a group of eunuchs.
Consort Yun knelt on the ground, utterly distraught. Two eunuchs lifted her up and dragged her out with Dong Yingzi.
Two eunuchs stood guard beside Consort Xiao, holding long white cloths and verbally conveying the imperial edict: she must commit suicide. They insisted on witnessing her death before returning to report the order.
Qingling knelt beside her, embracing her mother and weeping uncontrollably, almost fainting from the shock of this sudden tragedy.
Consort Xiao, however, remained remarkably calm, though her face was slightly pale. She stroked her daughter's hair, watching Li Yu's cold, retreating figure as he left the palace, and let out a soft sigh.
Not far from the eastern wall of the palace stood a Taoist temple.
This temple had originally been bestowed by the emperor upon the Guishan sect as a place of seclusion, providing them with lodging when they served at court. But the entire Guishan sect had mysteriously disappeared and perished, leaving the temple vacant. Now, Li Yu had granted it to the newly arrived immortal master, Dong Yingzi.
No one knew Dong Yingzi's origins. The palace eunuchs and some court officials only knew that he had been recommended by Prince Li Xiong of Danyang, had spent many years cultivating in seclusion in the mountains, and had now emerged to stabilize the Tang Dynasty.
This was, in a way, normal. In the world today, every nation's court had one or two Taoist sects protecting it. Just as Western Shu had the sword immortals of the Shu Mountain Sword Sect, the Tang Dynasty's guardian sorcerers had always been the sorcerers of the Guishan Sect, who, with their powerful magic, had protected the Southern Tang for centuries. However, in recent years, the Guishan Sect sorcerers had either disappeared or died tragically. The once powerful Guishan Sect rapidly declined until it was completely wiped out, causing widespread fear and anxiety among the wise men of the court.
The court and Taoist sects were mutually dependent and supportive. Without the protection of a Taoist sect, the security of a nation became a problem. If the Northern Zhao army, aided by the cultivators of the Laoshan Sect, were to storm into the Southern Tang territory, who could withstand the earth-shattering immortal techniques of those cultivators? The recent frequent troop movements of the Northern Zhao army likely stemmed from news of the Guishan Sect's decline. If the Northern Zhao army were not temporarily unable to assemble, they would likely have marched straight to Southern Tang upon hearing of the Guishan Sect's demise.
Therefore, the national protector monk recommended by Li Xiong played a crucial role. It was said that behind him was a large cultivation sect, no less powerful than the former Guishan Sect. If this sect could be persuaded to come out of seclusion and receive a high position from the court, it would be an unparalleled honor and endless benefits for the cultivation sect, while the Southern Tang court could rest easy about the threat posed by the Laoshan Sect.
At this moment, the monk, accompanied by a dozen or so young disciples, and holding the disheveled, pale-faced Yunfei hostage, entered the gates of the Taoist temple.
Following their master's instructions, the young Taoist disciples tossed Yunfei into the main hall of the temple and then retreated to their own rooms to rest, not daring to pry into what their master intended to do to the beautiful woman that night.
Standing in the main hall, Dong Yingzi stood with his hands behind his back, completely ignoring the Three Pure Ones statues enshrined above. He paced back and forth in the hall, his face dark and smug, occasionally letting out a sinister chuckle.
Yunfei knelt on the ground, her beautiful face filled with terror and fear, tears mingling with her soft hair, covering her jade-like face. Looking at Dong Yingzi, who was pacing and deep in thought not far away, she was filled with dread, not knowing what he planned to do to her.
Dong Yingzi pondered for a while, then walked to the palace gate. He formed hand seals and chanted incantations, setting up a restriction around the entire hall, preventing anyone from entering or leaving at will. Only then did he walk up to Yun Fei, looking down at her beautiful face and marveling, "What a fine cauldron! With such a cauldron to help me cultivate, how can I not achieve immortality!"
Yun Fei had actually been used by Li Xiaomin as a cauldron for dual cultivation for many days, but this was the first time she had heard the name "cauldron." She was both surprised and frightened, and said in a trembling voice, "Immortal Master! What are you saying?"
Seeing that no one was around, Dong Yingzi couldn't help but laugh loudly, his voice shrill, like the hooting of an owl at night, revealing his arrogance and pride.
Like any smug villain, Dong Yingzi finally revealed his true colors in front of this beautiful woman who was at his mercy, jumping up and down and laughing loudly: "How wonderful! How wonderful! After cultivating for so many years and pretending to be a respectable person for so many years, today it's finally my turn to have some fun! Hahahaha!"
In fact, the Daoist had done similar things in secret before, but this time he had gotten his hands on a noble imperial concubine and was cultivating in a prime location near the palace, which was enough to elevate his Daoist skills to a new level. It was no wonder that the immortal master was overjoyed and incoherent.
He pounced on her, lifting Yunfei's chin with his hand, and exclaimed admiringly, "Such a beautiful little thing, even I, the Daoist, feel pity for you! Today I'll use you as my cultivation vessel to aid my cultivation. In the future, I'll gather a few more vessels of your noble status, and what will I fear if I fail to achieve the Great Dao?"
Yunfei was both shocked and frightened, tears streaming down her face as she trembled and asked, "Immortal Master, what are you saying?"
Dong Yingzi laughed triumphantly, pounding his chest and roaring, "What I'm saying is that your palace is a place of great prosperity, but it's been occupied by this dog of a Southern Tang dynasty for so many years, what a waste! You imperial concubines, having stayed in the palace for so many years, have also absorbed a lot of vitality, your physiques are very different from those of women outside the palace, making you perfect as cultivation vessels! Actually, you're not necessarily any stronger than others, it's just that the foolish emperor pushed you out first, so I reluctantly agreed." "Let's take you down first! One day, with a little trickery, I'll get a few more imperial concubines and make them run wild. With such a fine furnace to aid me, I'll achieve great things, wielding a sword and dominating the world. I'll crush all those messy little sects like Shu Mountain, Lao Mountain, and Mao Mountain under my feet. What glory that would be!"
Hearing the Taoist's treasonous words, Consort Yun turned pale with shock and stammered, "How could you say such a thing! The masters of the Guishan Sect are incredibly powerful. How could they tolerate your recklessness?"
She came from a wealthy family, and like other people in the Southern Tang Dynasty, her family held the Guishan Sect in high esteem. They had even invited Guishan masters to their home to exorcise evil spirits. Therefore, she had heard about it from a young age and knew that the most famous and powerful Taoist sect in the world was the Guishan Sect. So, she blurted out the name Guishan.
Dong Yingzi's laughter abruptly stopped. He looked down at the trembling beauty with pity, then said contemptuously, "Foolish woman! Don't you know the Guishan Sect is finished? Do you know who did it?"
Yun Fei was shocked and exclaimed, "How could this be! Those sorcerers possessed extraordinary magical power, how could they fail! Could it be that it was you..."
Dong Yingzi shook his head and smiled smugly, "Although it wasn't just me who did it, I played a significant role! Hehe, how can the mighty Yinshan Sect compare to a small sect like the Guishan Sect? Besides, we've been meticulously planning this for decades, even centuries!"
He suddenly stopped talking, raised his hand and lightly slapped himself, cursing, "How could you tell the truth! Hehe, after I finish my cultivation, I might have to kill you to silence you!"
Hearing that he wanted to kill her, Yunfei was so frightened she almost cried. Trying to distract him and prolong her life, she hurriedly said, "If you want me to cultivate, why do you want to kill Consort Xiao?"
Dong Yingzi frowned and said, "You mean that melancholy woman? I find that kind of woman annoying just looking at her. She's not seductive at all, what's the point of having her! Besides, her constitution is very special... I, Daoist, once practiced..." "I've encountered several zombies, but none of them have such good aptitude as her! It's such a waste that someone with such talent isn't a zombie. Today, I'll use the foolish emperor to execute her, and tomorrow I'll find a way to get her corpse. Within seven days of her death, I'll refine her into a zombie. The power she'll possess will be incomparable to those ordinary zombies that have cultivated for decades!"
At this point, his face lit up with excitement, and he laughed wildly, "This is truly exhilarating! A beautiful zombie, and so many high-quality furnaces—I've really struck it rich this time! Hehe, it'll make those stupid fellow disciples too afraid to..." " The first bird to stick its head out gets to scout ahead and reap the biggest profits! Once I've devoured all the meat, they'll be left starving!"
He laughed triumphantly for a while, then turned to look in the direction of the western palace, chuckling sinisterly, "Right now, that elegant woman is probably hanging stiff from the rafters, isn't she? No problem, I'll gather the corpse energy tomorrow, then I'll get her and refine her into a zombie. It's not too late!"
A smug look flashed in Dong Yingzi's eyes. He stroked his beard, grinning sinisterly for a while, then suddenly remembered that Consort Yun was still kneeling on the ground awaiting his judgment. Such a beautiful and excellent vessel couldn't be wasted. He immediately bent down, reached out to touch her face, and lewdly said, "Little beauty, don't be afraid. I don't want to kill you yet. Even if I do, I'll wait until I've had my fill of you! Hehe, my skills in bed are amazing. If I don't kill you, I'll have wasted all these years!"
Yunfei was already trembling with fear. Now, hearing such terrifying words, she couldn't help but groan and almost fainted from fright.
Just as Dong Yingzi was about to strip her clothes and get down to business, his hand suddenly stopped. The lewd smile on his face vanished instantly, replaced by a cold and serious expression. He abruptly turned around and hissed, "Who goes there, daring to interrupt my good time?"
From the shadowy corner behind him, a figure slowly emerged—a handsome young man dressed as a eunuch. He coldly looked at Dong Yingzi and sneered, "You want to touch my woman? Did you forget to ask me first?"
Dong Yingzi's face turned ferocious as he glared fiercely at the young man before him, gritting his teeth, "Didn't expect to find a fellow scoundrel here! Heh heh, disguise..." " Becoming a eunuch and defiling the palace, how dare you!"
Li Xiaomin sneered, "I can't compare to your audacity, Master. It's one thing to play with women, but to kill them after you're done is another. Such a heartless act is beyond my reach!"
Dong Yingzi sneered, "Women are meant to be played with! Turning them into zombies after you're done is making the most of them and saving you from waste!"
Yun Fei, who was already dazed from fright, suddenly saw Li Xiaomin and cried out as if she had grasped a lifeline, "Master! Please, save me!"
Li Xiaomin sneered and remained silent, focusing on gathering his immortal energy and concentrating on facing Dong Yingzi, preparing for a sudden attack.
Yunfei scrambled to his side, grabbing his robes and crying in a trembling voice, "Master, I'm here! Please save my life! I promise you I'll be loyal to you forever and never betray you! Whatever you need, I'll do my best!"
Although she both hated and feared Li Xiaomin, she now knew he was her only lifeline. If he refused to help, she feared this terrifying Taoist would torture her to death and maim her, ultimately turning her into a zombie to be used by him forever.
Clinging to Li Xiaomin's leg, Yunfei wept loudly, her body twisting desperately, rubbing her full breasts against his leg, hoping to lure him away with her body.
Li Xiaomin, unsettled by her seduction, feared a sneak attack from his formidable enemy. He kicked her aside forcefully and shouted, "Get behind me!"
Yun Fei, realizing he was trying to save her life, was both surprised and delighted. She scrambled to his side, cowering in a corner, trembling.
Dong Yingzi's face darkened. With a clang, he drew his sword from his waist, the tip pointing directly at Li Xiaomin. He hissed, "Boy! I've cultivated for so many years, how can you, a mere junior, compare? If you kneel and kowtow, I might leave you a complete corpse. Otherwise, I'll cast your soul into the deepest abyss, condemning you to eternal suffering, never to be reborn!"
The sword in his hand was black and white, adorned with interwoven ghostly faces, appearing incredibly sinister and radiating a chilling aura.
Li Xiaomin's expression was solemn. He gently pressed the forked spring on the soft sword at his waist, slowly drawing out the crystal blade. With a forceful shake, he pointed the sword tip at Dong Yingzi and said in a deep voice, "You scoundrel! Today, I will act on behalf of Heaven and punish you, you demon!"
Dong Yingzi was furious. He leaped forward, becoming one with his sword, transforming into a streak of black light that shot straight toward Li Xiaomin.
Li Xiaomin gritted his teeth, not daring to be careless. He swung his sword, channeling his immortal power, and struck the black light like lightning!
A cold light flashed on the crystalline blade, and the moment it touched the black sword, a deafening roar erupted. The point where the two swords clashed was blindingly bright, so bright that Yun Fei in the corner couldn't open her eyes and was almost deafened.
The entire hall shook violently, rumbling for a long time before the tremors subsided.
Dong Yingzi was thrown back like a bird, tumbling several times in the air before landing steadily on the ground. She glared at Li Xiaomin and hissed, "Good stuff! I didn't expect you, little brat, to wield such a divine weapon!"
The shock also forced Li Xiaomin to retreat several steps, biting his teeth and daring not to utter a sound. He felt his blood surging in his chest, fearing that if he opened his mouth, he would spit out blood.
The two men faced each other, swords drawn, silently calming their surging blood. Neither was willing to strike first, each searching for an opening in the other's movements.
After a long while, Dong Yingzi finally gave in. With a powerful push, her thin body shot forward like a ghost, thrusting her sword at Li Xiaomin from the side.
Without hesitation, Li Xiaomin returned the blow with a clink, deflecting the attack. He slid away like a fish, swiftly circling to Dong Yingzi's side, and countered with a thrust aimed at Dong Yingzi's ribs.
Dong Yingzi parried with her sword, her blade flashing like lightning, aiming for Li Xiaomin's throat, but he deflected it with a single stroke. The powerful force of the crystalline blade sent a shiver down Dong Yingzi's spine.
The two men clashed fiercely, their swords clashing. Consort Yun, hiding in a corner, watched as the two moved faster and faster, their feet never stopping, until they transformed into two figures, chasing and weaving through the hall. Their faces and clothing were no longer discernible, only the gleam of their swords flashing, illuminating the entire hall.
Dong Yingzi, while wildly striking with his sword and shouting, grew increasingly alarmed. This young eunuch before him, though clearly lacking in combat experience, possessed immense strength and unbelievably exquisite swordsmanship. Wielding a divine weapon, he had compensated for his lack of experience, rendering several of his seemingly sure-fire attacks futile. Moreover, despite his young age, his skill was formidable, seemingly no less than her own. Could those trained in the naturally auspicious environment of the Southern Tang palace truly be this strong?
The two fought and chased each other like lightning, their movements growing ever faster. After a hundred moves, Li Xiaomin had gradually become familiar with Dong Yingzi's swordsmanship, his combat experience improving. He began to shift from a defensive to an offensive stance, his sword flashing like the wind, pressing Dong Yingzi forward with each strike.
Dong Yingzi was forced back several steps by the enemy's rapid-fire swordplay, a sense of dread gripping her. If this continued, the enemy would only grow stronger and would eventually defeat her.
Thinking this, Dong Yingzi feinted a sword strike, then retreated with a fierce howl, summoning reinforcements.
Li Xiaomin was startled, sensing a fluctuation of spiritual energy within the howl. He hurriedly gripped his sword, focusing his mind to prepare for the next attack.
Suddenly, the square bricks on the hall floor shattered and flipped upwards.
Immediately afterward, a withered, bird-claw-like hand emerged from the ground, pointing straight upwards. Black energy swirled between its fingers, carrying immense power as it slammed heavily onto the ground, shattering countless square bricks.

In Chapter 4 of Episode 3

, in the palace of the zombie Consort Xiao, two eunuchs, holding white ribbons, stood expressionless before her, bowing and saying, "His Majesty has decreed that Your Highness should commit suicide immediately, so as not to trouble us servants!"
Consort Xiao stood beneath a beam, a white ribbon hanging down from it, casting her shadow behind her. Her gentle and beautiful face was calm and serene, seemingly devoid of fear.
Qingling, however, was weeping uncontrollably, embracing her mother's body, kneeling on the ground, sobbing and pleading with the two eunuchs to spare her mother's life.
The two eunuchs had made up their minds to kill Consort Xiao, lest they be punished for failing their mission. To this end, they had prepared three white ribbons; even if Consort Xiao refused to hang herself, they would work together to send her on her way.
Consort Xiao stroked her daughter's hair and said softly, "My child, there's no need for that. What joy is there in living, and what sorrow in dying? It's just a pity that after I leave, there will be no one to take care of you. You'll suffer so much!"
Qingling burst into tears, burying her face in her arms, in unbearable pain, wishing she could take her place
. Consort Xiao's face showed a calm smile, and she said gently, "Although I have a few close sisters in this palace, they have all been neglected for a long time and are probably unable to take care of you. Only Xiaominzi is kind and warm-hearted, and he is currently favored by the Noble Consort. With him around, I'm sure no one will bully you. You must treat him well. He has a tragic past and entered the palace as a eunuch at a young age. You must take good care of him like your sister, do you understand?"
Qingling nodded and sobbed, tears streaming down her face, unable to speak.
Consort Xiao smiled gently, embracing her daughter's body, her face lightly rubbing against her hair. Her thoughts drifted to the handsome, sincere young man and the unforgettable kiss.
Now, facing death, she would never see that captivating boy again. She only hoped that he would remember that kiss and take good care of her daughter, protecting her from the cold, cruel confines of the palace.
Recalling the happy times spent with Xiao Minzi, a serene smile appeared on her beautiful face. Lost in thought for a while, she finally snapped out of it and calmly addressed the two waiting eunuchs, "My lords, I am ready. Let us begin!"
Li Xiaomin stood with his sword drawn, staring intently at the ground, his face grave.
A series of thunderous booms echoed from underground, sending bricks and stones flying. A massive figure emerged from the ground, leaving the palace floor in a mess.
When it landed, Li Xiaomin and Yun Fei were both stunned, their mouths agape.
The monster before them was clearly humanoid, extremely tall, yet emaciated, a skeleton wrapped in human skin. Its lifeless, snow-white eyes and the livid spots covering its tattered clothes confirmed its identity as a zombie.
Its hands were empty; it carried no weapon. It simply stretched out its large hands and staggered towards Li Xiaomin. However, Li Xiaomin dared not underestimate its power. Those fan-like hands emitted a dense black aura; if it grabbed him, his flesh would likely be charred and burned.
Li Xiaomin slowly retreated, avoiding direct confrontation with the zombie. The zombie moved forward slowly, unable to catch Li Xiaomin, yet showing no urgency, continuing its unhurried approach.
A deafening roar echoed from all around the hall. A dozen large holes burst open in the wall, and a large number of zombies crawled out, each expressionless, arms outstretched, closing in on Li Xiaomin.
Li Xiaomin's face paled in shock. He had seen the method of controlling zombies in the Heavenly Book, but he found it too disgusting and cruel, and had never actually used a corpse to create one. Now, Dong Yingzi had already created so many zombies; it would probably take him many years.
The first zombie had already reached Li Xiaomin, leaving him nowhere to retreat. He swung his sword, intending to decapitate it.
Though the zombie moved slowly, its hands moved swiftly, raising its hand to block. With a clang, sparks flew as the crystalline blade struck steel, numbing Li Xiaomin's arm. Looking at the zombie's hand, only a white mark appeared on its palm; it hadn't harmed it.
The zombie swung its massive hand, crashing down on Li Xiaomin's head with the force of a mountain. Li Xiaomin was terrified. He raised his sword to meet the attack, leaping out before the two large hands could close in. He escaped, circled behind the zombie, and thrust his sword at its back.
The zombie's arm whirled around like a whirlwind, blocking its back with a position no living person could achieve. With a loud bang, it deflected the crystalline blade.
A whoosh of wind sounded behind him, and Jingying Blade hurriedly darted to the side, only to find a zombie already behind him, striking him with its palm. Had he not escaped quickly, he would likely have been severely injured in the crossfire between two zombies.
A dozen or so other zombies staggered over, surrounding Li Xiaomin, seemingly intending to overwhelm him with numbers and strangle him on the spot.
Li Xiaomin strode past the zombies, slashing at the outstretched claws with his sword while simultaneously launching his own attacks. The zombies' hands and claws were incredibly fast, and although his sword strikes were swift and fierce, they couldn't harm them. However, Li Xiaomin was faster on his feet, and although the zombies outnumbered him, they couldn't catch him.
During the chase, Li Xiaomin was terrified, unsure how to deal with so many zombies.
Suddenly, a sinister, cold light flashed towards him. Li Xiaomin hurriedly swung his sword to block, and with a clang of metal on metal, he was sent flying backward. It was Dong Yingzi who had seized the opportunity to launch a sneak attack, intending to kill him with a single strike.
Li Xiaomin, flying through the air, was about to fall into the horde of zombies and be surrounded. Panicked, he swung his sword at one of them, deflecting its blocking hand and leaping high into the air, flying diagonally towards the wall. The crystalline blade swiftly pierced the wall with a "thud," and he used the momentum to hang from the hilt of his sword, leaning against the wall, panting slightly.
Dong Yingzi roared with laughter, charging forward like lightning, sword and man becoming one, a black light shooting straight at Li Xiaomin's chest.
Li Xiaomin took a deep breath, his toes digging into the wall, pulling out the crystalline blade, and using the momentum to leap onto the roof beam before Dong Yingzi could attack.
With a deafening crash, Dong Yingzi's sword pierced the wall, creating a large hole, dust scattering everywhere.
Before Li Xiaomin could even catch his breath on the roof beam, Dong Yingzi had already leaped onto it, thrusting her sword forward.
Li Xiaomin raised his sword to meet the attack, his blade flashing like lightning, aiming straight for Dong Yingzi's throat, and they engaged in combat.
The two leaped swiftly across the roof beams, their swords flashing, locked in a fierce battle. Below, a large number of zombies looked up, emitting shrill screams that chilled the heart.
Because the roof beams were too high, these zombies couldn't climb up and couldn't help Dong Yingzi, causing him to gradually fall behind in his exchange with Li Xiaomin. He thought to himself in alarm, "Where did this kid come from? How can his swordsmanship be so exquisite? I've never heard of such exquisite swordsmanship before. Which sect has such exquisite swordsmanship? If this continues, I'm afraid it will be disadvantageous!"
Just as he calmed down, he saw Li Xiaomin's sword strikes unleash like a whirlwind, sweeping in and engulfing him. Dong Yingzi was shocked and desperately slashed with his sword, creating a series of clanging sounds as he barely managed to deflect Li Xiaomin's attack, breaking out in a cold sweat.
Using the momentum from the sword, Dong Yingzi leaped back, landing on the ground. Pointing at Li Xiaomin above
, he shouted, "You brat, get down here! If you've got the guts, fight on the ground!" Li Xiaomin was both amused and annoyed. Pointing the tip of his sword at him, he cursed, "Damn it, you old bastard, do you think I'm a fool?! You're surrounded by zombies, trying to trick me into coming down here so you can gang up on me?"
Although Dong Yingzi didn't understand what "damn it" meant, he knew he was being insulted, and he gritted his teeth in anger. Seeing that he wasn't falling for it, he scratched his head, pondering how to force him down.
His eyes suddenly darted around, and he saw Yun Fei cowering in the corner, her delicate body trembling with fear. Dong Yingzi's eyes lit up, and he laughed wildly, "Men, listen to my command! Bring that cauldron over here so I can practice my skills on the spot for this brat!"
Li Xiaomin's eyes turned red at the thought. He gripped his sword hilt, almost jumping down to stab him through.
Yun Fei, however, didn't understand. Seeing the zombies swaying towards her, she realized the cauldron he was referring to was her. She screamed in terror, covering her face and desperately shrinking back, almost disappearing into the wall.
Li Xiaomin was both shocked and furious. Seeing this wicked Taoist about to defile his woman, he couldn't swallow his anger. Although Yun Fei was indeed despicable and had tried to harm him many times, she was still his woman; how could he allow others to lay a hand on her?
In his rage, Li Xiaomin formed a hand seal and shouted, "Go!"
A talisman shot out from his hand, streaking through the air like a golden light, striking a zombie that was walking towards Yun Fei with a thud. The zombie stopped abruptly, its body convulsing, unable to move.
Immediately afterward, a series of whooshing sounds, like a torrential downpour, filled the air. Li Xiaomin's hands flew, continuously unleashing talismans that struck the zombies with deafening crackling sounds. The zombies attacked by the talismans stopped in their tracks, swaying as if about to collapse. Taking
advantage of this opportunity, Li Xiaomin leaped down, his crystalline blade radiating a large amount of cold light, slashing towards the zombie horde.
The incomparably sharp blade struck the zombies, creating a deafening boom. Although the zombies had thick skin and flesh, they were no match for this divine weapon's attack. Although refined by Dong Yingzi for many years, it only developed bony hands that were impervious to blades and spears; its body remained relatively fragile. Li Xiaomin's crystalline blade, imbued with a large amount of immortal power, sent it flying in all directions, crashing heavily against the wall with a series of loud bangs, its bones shattering and scattering across the ground.
Suddenly, a burst of energy tore through the air, aiming straight for Li Xiaomin's back. Li Xiaomin was prepared and turned to block the sword, but with a loud clang, he was thrown backward, crashing heavily against the wall. The impact caused him to open his mouth and cough up a mouthful of blood, which splattered against the wall with a "pfft." The
one who had ambushed him was none other than Dong Yingzi.
These zombies, which he had cultivated for many years, each required considerable effort from him. Now, caught off guard by Li Xiaomin's surprise attack, suffering heavy casualties, he couldn't help but be enraged. He mustered all his magical power and thrust his sword at Li Xiaomin. Sure enough, Li Xiaomin, having already unleashed a large number of talismans and concentrated his immortal power to attack the zombies, was severely weakened and was struck by Li Xiaomin's sword
, suffering internal injuries. Seeing him injured, Dong Yingzi was both furious and delighted. Seizing the opportunity, she charged forward, her sword flashing like lightning, each strike deflecting Li Xiaomin's attacks.
Injured, Li Xiaomin's strength was greatly reduced. He managed to block several blows with all his might, but finally, exhausted, he was blasted back several steps and collapsed against the wall into Yun Fei's arms.
Yun Fei was terrified. Seeing Li Xiaomin risk his life to save her, being struck by the evil Taoist and coughing up blood, she felt gratitude, and much of her previous resentment had vanished. Seeing him fall, she hurriedly caught him, preventing Li Xiaomin from succumbing to the cold, hard ground.
Dong Yingzi grinned maliciously, walking over step by step, and shouted angrily, "You dog! You caused me to lose so many capable men! I'll turn you into a zombie to atone for your sins!"
Li Xiaomin coughed, trying to struggle to his feet, but he was too weak to stand. He could only lie in Yun Fei's arms, glaring hatefully at Dong Yingzi, blood gushing from his mouth, staining his chest clothes crimson. Looking
up at the vicious-looking Taoist priest, and then at the handsome young man in her arms with a face as white as paper, Yun Fei finally couldn't hold back her tears, which fell drop by drop onto his pale face.
Her jade-like arms convulsively embraced the small, thin boy in her arms, feeling his body warmth. She lowered her head, pressing her jade-like face against his soft cheek, and tremblingly moaned, "Today, we will die together!"
A white ribbon hung from the high rafters. Consort Xiao stood on a chair, raised her hand to pull the ribbon, her face showing no fear, and lowered Zhen's head into the noose.
Qingling knelt below the chair, hugging her legs, and cried mournfully, "Mother, don't leave me!"
Consort Xiao's hands paused, and she looked down at her daughter, whom she so worried about, and sighed softly.
The two eunuchs, growing impatient, shouted sharply, "Your Majesty, please hurry! If we wait until dawn, the Emperor may be furious, and even the princess will be implicated!"
Qingling knelt and cried, "Please, gentlemen, do me a favor and don't force my mother!"
One of the more experienced eunuchs sighed, "Princess, this isn't us forcing Your Highness to commit suicide; it's the Emperor's decree. How dare we, your servants, disobey!"
Qingling covered her face and wept, "Please, please don't let my mother die! I'll do anything to save her life!"
The younger eunuch sneered, "What can you do? Can you help us get promoted and make us rich? Or use your body..."
Before he could finish, the older eunuch covered his mouth and shouted in alarm, "Are you insane!
How dare you utter such treasonous words!" The younger eunuch was also terrified, kneeling on the ground and kowtowing, "Brother, I misspoke, what should I do?"
Another eunuch helped him up and sighed, "We are brothers born of the same mother, how could I report you? But..."
He turned to look at Qingling, his eyes dark and hesitant.
The young eunuch, as if grasping at a straw, his eyes bloodshot, sneered, "Just kill her to silence her! She's just a princess who's fallen from grace; who cares if she dies! We can just say she couldn't bear the blow of her mother's suicide and hanged herself. Will there be any autopsy?"
Consort Xiao, whose expression had remained calm, suddenly changed drastically. Her hands clenched the noose convulsively, and she stammered, "Gentlemen, this sinful woman deserves to die, but my daughter is still young and beautiful. Please, have mercy and don't harm her!"
She lowered her head and pleaded with Qingling, "Qingling! You must completely forget what happened today, do you understand?" "?"
Qingling wiped away her tears and calmly said, "Mother! Today I will die with you, what else is there to say? It will save me from being left all alone in this cruel world, suffering the scorn of palace servants and the bullying of lowly men!"
The younger eunuch, without waiting for his brother to speak, rolled up his sleeves and walked over, clutching a white silk ribbon tightly in his hand, and sneered, "Since the princess says so, I won't be polite! After you die, I will burn plenty of paper money for you, so please don't bother me!"
The older eunuch sighed slightly, his eyes filled with pity as he looked at Qingling, but ultimately he couldn't resist his brotherly affection and turned away, no longer looking at them.
Consort Xiao, her face filled with panic, jumped off her chair and tightly embraced her daughter, trembling as she cried, "No, no! Daughter, you must live! Xiaominzi will help you; he won't let you live a life of misery! Eunuchs, Eunuch Li is the head of the Imperial Kitchen and the adopted son of the Noble Consort. He possesses extraordinary magical abilities and has always been deeply in love with Qingling. If he forces Qingling to her death, he will certainly not let it go!"
The young eunuch's face froze, and his steps slowed. Recalling Eunuch Xiaominzi's immense power in the palace, he could only imagine the horrific revenge he would suffer if he killed the woman he loved. He couldn't help but feel a chill run down his spine.
Just as he hesitated, he suddenly heard a cold voice behind him: "Brother, if you're going to do it, you have to go all the way! If the princess survives and tells Eunuch Li, we brothers will be dead!"
With his brother's support, the younger eunuch immediately became bolder, holding a white ribbon and walking over, grinning maliciously, about to put the ribbon around Qingling's neck.
Just before the jade necklace was placed around her neck, his movements suddenly stopped, his eyes glazed over, and he stared blankly at the two weeping beauties before him. He stood there like a wooden statue, speechless and motionless.
Consort Xiao, already resigned to her fate, did not want her daughter to perish with her, and thus wept incessantly. The heartless eunuch, startled by the sudden halt in his movements, stared blankly at the two motionless eunuchs, wondering if they had fallen ill and were frozen in place.
A subtle fragrance wafted through the air. A delicate figure gradually appeared in the air, her face exceptionally beautiful, looking at the mother and daughter, covering her mouth and giggling.
Even though they were about to die, the two were still greatly alarmed by this bizarre scene. Qingling buried her face in her mother's arms, trembling with fear, too afraid to lift her head.
Consort Xiao hugged her daughter tightly, forcing herself to remain calm, and gritted her teeth, asking, "Are you human or a ghost?"
The beautiful woman's figure solidified, standing before the two women, holding a fragrant handkerchief, covering her mouth and giggling, "Of course I'm a ghost! You're not afraid, are you?"
A bitter smile appeared on Consort Xiao's jade-like face, and she said calmly, "I'm going to be a ghost too, what's there to be afraid of! I only beg you to let my daughter live, and in my next life I will surely repay your great kindness!"
The beautiful woman smiled and asked, "Do you really want Qingling to live?"
Consort Xiao nodded repeatedly, but before she could speak, Qingling lifted her head from her arms, knelt down, and begged the woman, "Sister! Please save my mother! I'll do anything you ask!"
Looking at the two beautiful women, their faces streaked with tears... "Beautiful lady," the woman, though confident in her extraordinary beauty, couldn't help but sigh softly, "Indeed, you are pitiful to behold! No wonder my master has been so fond of you both!"
Consort Xiao was startled, instinctively sensing a glimmer of hope, and asked in surprise, "Miss, who is this master you speak of?"
The woman covered her mouth and giggled, "I dare not say my master's name! But he does like you and your daughter very much, often thinking of you so much that he can't sleep at night, using me as your substitute, on me... hehe..."
Consort Xiao's jade-like face flushed slightly. She couldn't imagine which powerful and lecherous sorcerer had seen her and her daughter. Could it be that those sorcerers from the Turtle Mountain Sect who went to the palace to exorcise ghosts last time accidentally saw her and her daughter's beauty and thus harbored evil intentions?
Qingling knelt on the ground, kowtowing repeatedly, her voice trembling as she said, "Sister, you must have great magical powers. If you can save my mother and prevent her from being executed by Father, I am willing to be your slave for life, serving you and...Master!"
Consort Xiao was shocked and pulled Qingling up, crying out, "Qingling, how can you say such things! A girl's purity is the most important thing. If you lose your purity, how will you get married in the future!"
The beautiful woman frowned and spat, "If you don't even have a life, what kind of marriage will you get! A ghost marriage?"
Consort Xiao was stunned. Thinking of the threat in the woman's words, if she and her daughter refused to obey and allowed her master to violate them, she feared that the two eunuchs who were under the spell would be released, leaving her and her daughter to die unjustly. She dared not argue any further and could only embrace her daughter and weep bitterly.
The beautiful woman watched patiently for a while, then sighed, "Don't look so heartbroken. It's just to be paired with my master so he can have some fun, isn't it? You and your daughter have both survived and can even live together, calling each other sisters. What's wrong with that? Even for your daughter's sake, you have to humble yourself and agree to serve my master! Although your daughter might lose her virginity, as long as she follows my master for life, she'll be faithful to him. What's wrong with that?"
Saying this, she found a chair, sat down leisurely, and smiled calmly, "It won't be long before dawn. If you still can't make up your minds, once dawn breaks and someone comes to check and finds you still alive, even a god couldn't save your lives!"
