My mother-in-law came over yesterday. My wife and mother-in-law slept in the same bed last night, chatting about everyday things and recent events. They started talking about my trip back to my hometown in 2015. I was still in the bathroom washing up when my mother-in-law said her aunt had introduced her to three men back then. My wife laughed and said she didn't like any of them. My wife deliberately avoided talking about this. After I finished washing up, I went out for a smoke and prepared to go to sleep.
