[Wuxia] Jiaojiao Yitian (Complete) - 1

[Synopsis] Traveling 800 years into history, back to the late Yuan and early Ming dynasties, how will Zhang Wuji rely on the Heaven Sword and Dragon Saber to build an unparalleled harem of beauties and create a unique Chinese empire! This is absolutely a different kind of time travel, an absolutely breathtaking story!

Prologue: Not the Heaven Sword, But Dragon Saber

. This work has been in development for nearly a year and is one of the "Jiao Jiao" trilogy (two of which, "Jiao Jiao Shi Niang" and "Jiao Jiao Niang Zi," are currently being updated). Following Bread's usual pattern, the trilogy includes a traditional martial arts novel, a modern romance, and a time-travel masterpiece—a time-travel story set in Jin Yong's works.

Just like the original "Jiao Yan" trilogy!

The original "Jiao Yan" trilogy (the title won't be mentioned due to censorship, but longtime readers should remember it)

time-travel story set in "Demi-Gods and Semi-Devils" was incomplete for various reasons, a great regret. I've always wanted to fill this gap, and some readers have suggested I continue it. But since it's already broken, I haven't considered making up for it. On the contrary, quite a few enthusiasts have even changed the title of my work and continued writing it on other websites. I am also gratified by this, as the fact that someone is continuing the story proves that everyone likes that work.

Although that classic is no longer being continued, Master Jin Yong has so many works, and the themes are so rich.

Therefore, this work was already in the works when the Jiao Jiao series started. However, the reason why I haven't started writing it until now is because the first two Jiao Jiao series were not completed. Now that "Jiao Jiao Shi Niang" is basically finished, and "Jiao Jiao Niang Zi" is progressing step by step, "Jiao Jiao Yi Tian" was born naturally!

When I was sitting in front of the computer, I realized that there are countless examples of Jin Yong's themes being transmigrated online, as numerous as the vast galaxy, and the Condor Trilogy has the most transmigrations, so writing a transmigrated "Yi Tian Tu Long Ji" is quite challenging!

But once I have an idea, it's not a bad idea to take on the challenge.

Traveling through the world of *The Heaven Sword and Dragon Saber* isn't simply a repetition of the story's romance elements. The author aims to inject fresh blood, including new stories and characters. Of course, the ending can't be exactly as Jin Yong

wrote, otherwise, time travel would lose its meaning. So, how should one summarize this epic time-travel story?

I'd use the simplest phrase: "Beauties and power at your fingertips!" In other words, *The Heaven Sword and Dragon Saber* is a vibrant and beautiful world. Within this enchanting world, a grand dragon-slaying drama unfolds, culminating in the conquest of the land!

During this process, the male protagonist must build a vast harem, ensuring that every beauty who appeared in the *Heaven Sword and Dragon Saber* world is included—a truly challenging task.

Having said all that, I believe you understand. So, let's travel to the world of *The Heaven Sword and Dragon Saber* eight hundred years ago!

Public chapters must be kept pure, so please don't doubt the brilliance of this work. All the excitement is presented in VIP. Collections are a must; please don't miss out on the exciting content!

Chapter 001: Transmigrating into the

World of "The Heaven Sword and Dragon Saber" Zhang Wuji is not the protagonist Zhang Wuji from Jin Yong's "The Heaven Sword and Dragon Saber," but an ordinary Chinese citizen born in 1994 in a prosperous small town in southern China. He is 1.78 meters tall, handsome, and currently a senior in high school at the county's experimental high school, preparing for this year's college entrance examination. According to his teacher's goals, he will not attend any university other than a top-tier one.

Tsinghua and Peking University are both within his target range. Why is he

called Zhang Wuji? Because his ancestors have all been surnamed Zhang, his father's surname is Zhang, so he naturally took the same surname.

But why is he called Wuji? Did his father read Jin Yong's "The Heaven Sword and Dragon Saber" and give his son this name? Of course not. According to Zhang Wuji's understanding of his father, if his father had read "The Heaven Sword and Dragon Saber," he would never have given him this name. The problem was, Zhang Wuji's father hadn't read "The Heaven Sword and Dragon Saber," and his birth chart was considered unlucky. Furthermore, his mother had consulted a fortune teller the year he was born, who predicted a major calamity at eighteen, one he wouldn't survive and would likely die. Zhang Wuji's father, skeptical, named his son "Zhang Wuji," meaning "without any taboos."

"Damn it, endless exams all day long, they're making me stupid!" Zhang Wuji handed in his mock exam and left the exam hall.

For Zhang Wuji, handing in exams an hour early was commonplace. The exams were meaningless to him; he was too lazy to check his work, just handing them in and leaving this tedious place as quickly as possible. However, every time the exams were returned, Zhang Wuji was criticized by the teacher because he always fell just a few points short of a perfect score. Because the few points, even ten or more, that were deducted were for the easiest questions, the teacher absolutely refused to believe that Zhang Wuji didn't know how to do them and that it was simply due to carelessness and a lack of careful checking.

Zhang Wuji, however, seemed completely unconcerned. He didn't believe those mistakes were due to carelessness, but rather intentional; he didn't want a perfect score. A little imperfection was more perfect for him! He

handed in his exam early, not wanting to go back to his dorm to avoid the security guards asking why he wasn't in class!

Too lazy to explain, Zhang Wuji simply went to the bookstore next to the school. Novels these days are getting increasingly boring—fantasy, cultivation, they're all so unreliable. In junior high, Zhang Wuji loved reading Gu Long's novels; they were full of mystery, eroticism, and imagination. After finishing Gu Long, he started reading Jin Yong's, and became completely engrossed. But Jin Yong's novels were too few—only fourteen, and even with *The Sword of the Yue Maiden*, it was only fifteen. He finished them all in a week. Still feeling unsatisfied, he went to the bookstore again to find new novels. He was looking for Wen Ruian's, specifically *The Tale of Heroes*. The "Who is the Hero" series was the best, far superior to "The Four Great Constables" in Zhang Wuji's opinion. Later, like discovering a new continent, Huang Yi's novels became his favorites. He then indulged in an uncontrollable online reading spree. At that time, he especially loved Ni Ren's "So Many Beautiful Rivers and Mountains," but unfortunately, it was unfinished.

After Ni Ren's "So Many Beautiful Rivers and Mountains," Zhang Wuji rarely read martial arts novels. It should be said that there weren't many good martial arts novels left. Now, fantasy and cultivation novels have taken over, and driven by profit, few online writers venture into pure martial arts works.

In fact, entering his senior year of high school, Zhang Wuji rarely went to bookstores. Firstly, studying was indeed very stressful, and secondly, there were simply no good books he liked to read! Reading novels was less appealing than playing games like "The Legend of Sword and Fairy" and "Xuan-Yuan Sword."

Zhang Wuji browsed through the bookstore, and unexpectedly, a book called "Walking with Love" captivated him! He became engrossed in reading it.

At that moment, his phone rang. He picked it up and saw it was his English teacher, Xia Rulan, calling. Zhang Wuji was immediately overjoyed.

"Wuji, where have you been? Why aren't you in class for your exam?" Xia Rulan's tone wasn't like a teacher's scolding, but more like a lover's coquettishness.

"I handed in my exam early, I'm outside the school now," Zhang Wuji replied, flipping through his novel. He was currently

reading a scene where he was seduce his teacher's wife, Bai Junyi, and his blood was boiling.

"You didn't even come to find me after handing in your exam? Were you on a date with another girl?" Xia Rulan complained playfully.

"No way, don't accuse me!" Zhang Wuji said, "I was just afraid of disturbing your work!"

"Stop nagging, I'm off work. I booked a room at the Hawaii Hotel, at our usual spot! Come over quickly, we'll have lunch and a nap together!" Xia Rulan said excitedly.

Just thinking about Xia Rulan's beautiful body made Zhang Wuji's blood boil. He turned to leave the bookstore.

"Hey, young man, you're taking books without paying?!" The bookstore owner shouted as Zhang Wuji tried to leave with the books.

"Oh, I'm sorry, I've already rented this book," Zhang Wuji said.

The bookstore owner took the book, wrote today's date on the back page, and then recorded it in his ledger.

He said, "Deposit 20 yuan, daily rental fee 0.5 yuan."

Zhang Wuji paid the 20 yuan deposit, took the book, and hailed a taxi to the Hawaii Grand Hotel.

Sitting in the car, Zhang Wuji didn't open the novel to read, because reading in the car made him dizzy and uncomfortable. He looked at the scenery on both sides of the road; everything on this street had been so familiar to him for the past three years of high school. And it was on this street that Zhang Wuji met and began dating his current secret girlfriend, Xia Rulan.

The year Zhang Wuji entered high school, Xia Rulan had just graduated and become an English teacher. That year, Zhang Wuji was fifteen, and Xia Rulan was twenty-one. Xia Rulan's arrival caused the hormones of all the men in the school—students and male teachers, married or unmarried—to double. After Xia Rulan arrived, she was widely recognized as the most beautiful woman in the school's history. To simply describe her as a "school beauty" would be an insult; you could add any adjective before "school beauty" and it wouldn't be an exaggeration.

How could such an incredibly beautiful teacher, loved by everyone, so stunning that even cars would get flat tires just by looking at her, fall for a student six years younger than her?

Of course, this requires the thrilling twists and turns of a novel and the romantic sentiments of a movie. It was a cold winter night, with snowflakes still falling. Evening self-study had ended an hour ago, but Zhang Wuji was still reviewing his lessons. Only when the school lights went out did he realize it was getting late and he needed to go back to his dormitory. As he stood up, his stomach rumbled. He was hungry, and the school cafeteria was already closed. Taking advantage of the half hour before the school gates closed, Zhang Wuji thought of the barbecue stall around the corner from the gate. He often enjoyed grilling turkey wings—big ones that were very filling, fragrant, spicy, and incredibly delicious. My roommates and I would always go out for chicken wings after evening self-study. Many of our families weren't well-off, and even those who were didn't necessarily give us much pocket money. So, the money for chicken wings came from saving up our regular food allowance or daily necessities. Luckily, chicken wings weren't expensive, ranging from four to eight yuan depending on size. We'd figured out that five-yuan wings were the best deal—much bigger than four-yuan wings, and not small at all compared to six, seven, or even eight-yuan wings. And you know, big chicken wings

have big bones! That night it snowed, and it had been almost an hour since evening self-study ended, so none of my roommates went out for chicken wings. There were hardly any people on the streets. Zhang Wuji was worried that no one would be setting up a barbecue stall, but when he went out, thankfully, one stall was still operating. Compared to the other five stalls, this one owner was really doing business. And it was also the best-tasting one.

When Zhang Wuji arrived, there was even someone grilling chicken wings. Upon closer inspection, Zhang Wuji discovered that the person waiting for the barbecue was none other than the stunningly beautiful Xia Rulan.

Although Zhang Wuji recognized her, he didn't dare call out to her and even considered turning away. Unexpectedly, Xia Rulan recognized him: "Zhang Wuji!? You're here for barbecue too?"

"Yes, Teacher Xia," Zhang Wuji said, bowing his head and ordering a five-yuan chicken wing from the vendor.

"The chicken wings here are delicious! You must have been studying late into the night!" Xia Rulan said.

"Teacher, you're so late too?" Zhang Wuji asked.

Xia Rulan said playfully, "I was a little hungry, and there was no food in the dorm! So I had to brave the heavy snow to find something to eat. Don't you think I'm a glutton?" " "No way! We come out to eat every night! You can ask the boss if you don't believe me..." Zhang Wuji looked at Xia Rulan's fresh and innocent appearance, feeling less repressed, and opened up.

Actually, Xia Rulan didn't have many friends, and even fewer people she could talk to. That's how it is with beautiful women, especially the more beautiful they are. When a woman is too beautiful, other women tend to reject her, so she has very few close friends or sisters; as for men, unless there's a particularly talented and confident man, men are always very self-conscious in front of beautiful women. They can't even speak properly, let alone actively interact with them, especially on campus. Therefore, Xia Rulan was actually lonely, especially since she was new and didn't know any friends.

"Actually, I come to eat every day too..." Xia Rulan said softly.

"Huh? Then why don't we see you, teacher?" Zhang Wuji asked curiously.

“Because you’re all here, I, as a teacher, feel embarrassed to come out. So I always ask the owner to save one for me, and I only come out to get it after the school gates close and you’ve all gone back to your dorms! You can ask the owner if you don’t believe me!” Xia Rulan echoed, “You can ask the owner if you don’t believe me,” which made Zhang Wuji feel very warm and fuzzy.

At this moment, the barbecue owner just smiled, a very sweet smile. Customer praise is truly the greatest reward and encouragement.

Zhang Wuji suddenly understood and looked at the owner, saying, “No wonder a few times when I came out late, I clearly saw there was still one chicken wing left, but you didn’t sell it to me? It turns out you were saving it for me, teacher!!”

“Hehe, who told you not to reserve it?” Xia Rulan smiled smugly.

“Boss, I’ll reserve it for you from now on, and you can save it for me every night.” Zhang Wuji said, not to be outdone.

“Alright, classmate, with you saying that, I’ll definitely save it for you every night!” The owner was happy and said, “Actually, you two are my most loyal customers, you come almost every day. Teacher Xia, your chicken wing is ready!” Saying that, he handed the fragrant chicken wing to Xia Rulan.

"Okay, thank you, boss!" Xia Rulan said, taking out ten yuan from her wallet and giving it to the barbecue owner. "Boss, keep the change, both portions together!"

"Teacher, no way. How can I let you treat us! I'll pay..." Zhang Wuji also took out his wallet at this moment, took out ten yuan and handed it to the owner. "Boss, you can't take my teacher's money..."

"Zhang Wuji, teachers get paid, so it's normal for them to treat us..."

"No, showing respect to teachers is a student's duty. Besides, it's not much money, one portion is enough!"

...

Just as the two were arguing, the owner smiled and pushed both of their money back, saying, "Don't argue, it's my treat today, you can eat without worry!"

"Boss, you..." Xia Rulan and Zhang Wuji looked at the barbecue owner in surprise.

The owner smiled and said, "Actually, no one sets up a stall tonight, and I know there won't be many customers.

But I thought there would always be two little gluttons coming out, so I set up a stall. You're both my regular customers, you eat here every day, so consider today's a special offer, okay? Don't argue, or I won't leave you two chicken wings anymore!"

"Thank you, boss!!" Xia Rulan and Zhang Wuji were deeply moved and said thank you together.

"Boss, you're so kind!" Xia Rulan took the chicken wings, smiled at Zhang Wuji, and turned to leave. At that moment, Zhang Wuji thought Xia Rulan was really beautiful, especially when she smiled, she was whiter than the snow in the sky!

Later, every time Xia Rulan was with Zhang Wuji, she would always ask, "When did you fall in love with me?"

Zhang Wuji answered without hesitation, "On that snowy night when we had barbecue, the moment you turned around with the chicken wings! At that moment, I felt like time and space stopped." Even the heavy snow falling from the sky froze...

Sitting in the taxi, Zhang Wuji couldn't help but smile knowingly as he recalled that legendary night. Indeed, it was a night he would never forget and cherish forever.

What happened after the smile? The legendary night was far from over. Just as Zhang Wuji continued to reminisce about that night, the driver suddenly shouted, "Oh no!!"

Zhang Wuji was startled. Before he could react, the driver jumped out of the car, yelling, "Jump out! There's a huge pit ahead!"

By the time Zhang Wuji came to his senses, the car was already plunging into a massive landslide that had suddenly appeared on the road. The taxi crashed into it with a loud thud!

Zhang Wuji was terrified. This was the latest trend of landslides in the city, jokingly referred to by netizens as a harbinger of the 2012 apocalypse. Zhang Wuji had always thought the previous news reports were just hype, but this time it had actually happened to him.

Don't panic, stay calm. He had learned escape techniques. First, bend your body to protect yourself, then cover your head with your hands and curl up into a ball…

But Zhang Wuji thought he would soon hit the ground. With a loud crash, he found himself like an object falling in space, endlessly!

"It's over!? Did I fall into a bottomless pit!?" Zhang Wuji's heart was filled with panic, and a sense of despair welled up within him...

Just then, Zhang Wuji felt his falling speed increasing, eventually exceeding his body's capabilities. He felt as if he were falling at the speed of light. He recalled the movie "Men in Black" he had recently watched; was it the same feeling when Smith fell from the Empire State Building...?

But soon, Zhang Wuji felt nothing. In the pitch-black environment, he felt as if he had entered a black hole in space!

The speed of the fall was so fast that his body lost all sensation, and then he directly lost consciousness...

Chapter 002 I am Zhang Wuji

When Zhang Wuji woke up, his entire body ached terribly, and he felt completely soaked. He used all his strength to open his eyes and found himself lying on the edge of a lake. He guessed that when he fell, he landed in this lake, otherwise he would have been smashed to pieces!

Huh?! How did he end up in a lake after falling from a huge crater in the ground? Zhang Wuji's wild thoughts began to run wild again. Had he stumbled into the Earth's core? Was this some kind of magical world like the one in the movie "Journey to the Center of the Earth"? Or had he traveled from one side of the Earth to the other? Was this America? At worst, he'd fallen into an underground sewer and been swept into this lake! It couldn't be the last possibility, because around his city, he couldn't find a lake as beautiful and clear as this one!

Where was he? Zhang Wuji endured the pain and tried to stand up. Only then did he realize that he was lying beneath someone, someone who had been dead for a long time!

"Ah!?" Zhang Wuji cried out in shock. Even though he had no strength left, he jumped faster than any animal!

The person had been dead for a long time; their face was pale, and their eyes were bulging! They looked like they had died with their eyes open! This person looked to be about fourteen or fifteen years old, somewhat malnourished, and rather thin! And their clothes were strange—the kind of ancient clothing he'd seen on TV!

Could he have crushed them when he fell?

"Brother, please forgive me! I don't know how you ended up under me. If I crushed you... no, it wasn't me, there must be some mistake. Please forgive me!! I didn't mean to!!" Zhang Wuji knelt and bowed before the corpse, begging for forgiveness.

"Hey, kid, you haven't given me any fruit for three days, you... you want to starve me to death?!"

At this moment, a voice came from the other side!

Upon hearing this, Zhang Wuji was overjoyed and immediately stood up and walked towards the source of the voice.

The source of the voice was a long cave at the foot of the mountain by the lake, probably ten or twenty meters long, with an entrance that could barely fit a child. Zhang Wuji couldn't possibly crawl in now. How could there be someone inside? And judging from the voice, it was a middle-aged man. Upon closer inspection, it turned out that the middle-aged man was too fat to fit inside.

"Hey, uncle, do you want some food?" Zhang Wuji asked.

"Nonsense, I don't want any food, do you want to die?!" the middle-aged man cursed.

Upon hearing this, Zhang Wuji became furious and said, "Tch, I've never seen a beggar so arrogant! You deserve to be trapped here. I won't give you any food; I'll let you starve to death!"

"You..." The middle-aged man was so angry that he said hatefully, "Zhang Wuji, I never expected you to be so ruthless!"

Zhang Wuji was startled and said, "You... how do you know I'm Zhang Wuji?"

"I know more than just that you're Zhang Wuji. I know your father is Zhang Cuishan, your mother is Yin Susu, and your godfather is the Golden-Haired Lion King!!" The middle-aged man said angrily, "Don't play dumb with me. I... I haven't done anything bad to you. You... do you have to torture me to death like this?"

"Wait!?" Zhang Wuji was stunned and said, "You... you're not talking about 'The Heaven Sword and Dragon Saber,' are you?"

"Yes, I want the Dragon-Slaying Saber! But I can't capture you in my current state! And I don't want you to lead me to your godfather, Zhang Wuji. Please, have mercy on me! Give me some food, and I, Zhu Changling, will be eternally grateful!" The middle-aged man pleaded. "I haven't eaten for three days! I'm so tired!"

"Wait! You've confused me!" Zhang Wuji was surprised, bewildered, and confused, but he vaguely felt that he might have transmigrated! And into the world of the Heaven Sword and Dragon Saber!!

"Your name is Zhu Changling? You have a daughter named Zhu Jiuzhen?"

"Zhang Wuji, you're not trying to bring up old grudges and resent Jiuzhen for deceiving you, are you? Even if you are, you can't drag me into this!" Zhu Changling sighed.

"Slap!" Zhang Wuji slapped himself, realizing he wasn't dreaming! Had he really transmigrated into the world of the Heaven Sword and Dragon Saber?! No way! If the man in the cave really was Zhu Changling, then the person he had just crushed to death was Zhang Wuji?! The Zhang Wuji from *The Heaven Sword and Dragon Saber*?

I, the Zhang Wuji of the 21st century, crushed the Zhang Wuji of eight hundred years ago?!

No way!! Zhang Wuji pinched his thighs again, both of them, to make sure he was awake. Then he rubbed his eyes and looked around carefully! He found himself in a verdant valley, surrounded by blooming flowers and lush trees.

Ignoring the pain in his wounds, he ran forward at breakneck speed, covering a kilometer before discovering another towering peak blocking his path. Looking around, he saw that the valley was surrounded by high mountains, seemingly untouched by human hands since ancient times. Snow-capped peaks pierced the clouds, their steep cliffs impossible to climb.

Looking at the meadow, he saw seven or eight wild goats grazing with their heads down, showing no fear upon seeing him. More than ten monkeys leaped and played in the trees, suggesting that fierce beasts like tigers and leopards were too clumsy to cross the peaks. And in the middle of the verdant valley was the Emerald Lake where Zhang Wuji had just been!

Zhang Wuji walked into the Emerald Lake again. This time, he boldly pulled up the corpses along the lakeshore. Despite feeling terrified, he closed his eyes and groped the bodies, trying to find some relics or evidence.

Zhang Wuji felt something in his robes and pulled it out. There were four scriptures, wrapped well in oilcloth and made of sheepskin, so they weren't afraid of water damage. Zhang Wuji couldn't understand the writing on them; it was all crooked Tibetan script. Therefore, Zhang Wuji concluded that these were four scriptures. Since he couldn't read a single word, he randomly flipped through them. The four books were filled with this strange script, but between each line were tiny Chinese characters written in traditional characters. Fortunately, Zhang Wuji could recognize traditional characters.

Looking closer, the script seemed to resemble the internal energy cultivation techniques described in martial arts novels! If the person who died was Zhang Wuji, then weren't these four scriptures the *Nine Yang Divine Skill* taken from the white ape's belly? Had he really transmigrated?

Zhang Wuji wondered. Did his father really know he would transmigrate, naming him Zhang Wuji? And then, by some strange twist of fate—no, it should be said that destiny had sealed the fate of the Zhang Wuji from eight hundred years ago? Become the real Zhang Wuji? No, I should say become the Zhang Wuji of eight hundred years ago!?

Damn! No way, would God really arrange it like this? I'm not that cowardly Zhang Wuji from eight hundred years ago. God, if you really let me, the Zhang Wuji of this era, replace the Zhang Wuji of eight hundred years ago, then history will be rewritten!!

I was already a romantic hero in the 21st century. If you make me the Zhang Wuji of this era, then all the beauties in this world will suffer, and that damned Zhu Yuanzhang will never be able to steal his Ming Dynasty!

Anyway, as Confucius said, since we're here, let's make the best of it!

Zhang Wuji did feel a little hungry, so he picked a few unknown fruits from a low tree. Holding them in his hand, he could already smell a sweet fragrance. He took a bite, and they were incredibly delicious. They had the unparalleled crispness of peaches, the unparalleled sweetness of apples, and even pears were three parts less smooth. He tossed a fruit into the cave and called out, "Zhu Changling, catch this, something delicious is coming!"

The fruit flew through the cave, hit the cave wall a few times, and was smashed to pieces. Zhu Changling chewed on it, peel and pit included, his hunger growing stronger with each bite. He cried out, "Little brother, give me a few more!" Zhang

Wuji shouted, "You're so heartless, you deserve to starve. If you want fruit, come and get it yourself."

Zhu Changling said, "I'm too big to fit through the cave."

Zhang Wuji shouted, "Why don't you cut yourself in half and you can get through?"

Zhu Changling was dumbfounded and said, "Kid, please have mercy..."

"You can eat, but how long have we been here?" Zhang Wuji asked.

"More than a month, I think!" Zhu Changling said.

Zhang Wuji said, "You really want me to take you to find the Golden-Haired Lion King... my godfather?" He thought that if he were Zhang Wuji from eight hundred years ago, he would definitely have great respect for the Golden-Haired Lion King, after all, he was his godfather. How could he call his godfather the Golden-Haired Lion King?

"Is there any point in talking about this now? We might both die here!" Zhu Changling felt a pang of despair.

"Death? That's inevitable for everyone, but how you die and where you die isn't up to you!"

Zhang Wuji thought to himself, if I were the Zhang Wuji of eight hundred years ago, I'd be the Zhang Wuji of eight hundred years ago. At least in this world, my world is much broader. He just wondered if his parents and lovers from the 21st century were heartbroken right now.

Having basically confirmed that he had transmigrated to the world of *The Heaven Sword and Dragon Saber*, Zhang Wuji felt a pang of loss, especially thinking of his parents and lovers! Whenever he thought of this, Zhang Wuji became melancholic.

"Please, give me more food!" Zhu Changling's half-dead voice came again!

Hearing Zhu Changling's begging voice, even people in such circumstances could barely survive. He had only changed his environment; why was he so depressed and losing his will to live? Now is not the time for sentimentality. The most important thing now is to survive, and ideally, to learn all of Zhang Wuji's skills. This is the foundation for his survival in this world! It was thanks to Zhang Wuji's unparalleled martial arts from eight hundred years ago that he had countless beauties and the Ming Dynasty!

Thinking of this, Zhang Wuji was filled with fighting spirit. He casually picked a few fruits and tossed them to Zhu Changling in the cave before walking away.

The first thing Zhang Wuji wanted to do was bury the deceased Zhang Wuji, as if burying his own past or bidding farewell to his 21st century. This burial process made Zhang Wuji somewhat sentimental. He wondered, what if it was this Zhang Wuji from eight hundred years ago who traveled through time and crushed him to death in the 21st century? What would the outcome be?

Such is the unpredictability of life; there are no "what ifs"!

After burying the deceased Zhang Wuji, Zhang Wuji checked what he had on him. A cell phone, but it was broken and had been submerged in water for days, rendering it unusable! It couldn't be as absurd as Ma Mingguo's "Back to the Three Kingdoms," where someone could actually send text messages to 21st-century people using a mobile phone! He checked his pockets again; there was a wallet with credit cards and some cash, which he didn't need. There was also a set of keys, even more useless!

Zhang Wuji sighed deeply. Who time-travels without bringing some modern gadgets? At least they could fool the ancients! He had nothing on him; he could only lament that fate had made him a purely ancient person!

Having thoroughly checked his belongings and found nothing useful, Zhang Wuji began to wander through the emerald valley. He saw a large waterfall cascading down a cliff, presumably formed from melting snow. Under the sunlight, it resembled a giant jade dragon, extremely magnificent. The waterfall cascaded down to form Emerald Lake in the valley! The lake was clear and emerald green, but the water wasn't full, indicating that there was another outlet for the water. After admiring the scene for a while, he looked down and saw that his hands and feet were covered in moss and mud, with countless cuts from thorns and tough grass. He walked closer to the pool, removed his shoes and socks, and dipped his feet into the water to wash.

After washing for a while, suddenly, with a splash, a large white fish, over a foot long, leaped out of the pool. Zhang Wuji quickly reached out to grab it, but although he touched its body, it slipped away. He leaned over the pool and stared intently, seeing more than ten large white fish swimming back and forth in the emerald green water. Zhang Wuji had learned to catch fish since childhood. He broke off a sturdy branch, sharpened one end, and waited quietly by the pool. When another large white fish swam to the surface, he thrust his spear forcefully, striking the fish squarely.

Perhaps the fish here had never seen humans or fishermen before, so they instinctively didn't sense danger.

They didn't flee at the sight of a person, which was why Zhang Wuji caught fish so easily.

Upon catching the fish, Zhang Wuji cheered and shouted. He used a sharp stick to cut open the fish's belly, washed out its intestines, and then, finding some dry branches, tried to start a fire by rubbing sticks together, a technique he'd learned from television. This seemed simple, but it took Zhang Wuji almost an hour to get the fire going. Just as he was about to give up, he remembered that the Zhang Wuji from eight hundred years ago must have left behind some kindling! Yes, it should be in a nearby cave!

Zhang Wuji went to find the kindling and indeed found a pile of ash in a small cave, with half-burnt firewood hidden inside to prevent it from going out. Zhang Wuji took out the kindling, lit it on the pile of firewood, blew on it, and the fire was lit! Overjoyed, he put the kindling back in its original place. Looking around the cave, he found woolen clothes and blankets, probably made from the wool of wild goats. There was also a flat stone bed and an earthen stove! These were probably left behind by his brother from eight hundred years ago! That's good, saves him the trouble of finding these things himself!

Now that we have fire, we can make many delicious dishes, including grilled fish! Zhang Wuji started grilling the fish. Soon, the aroma of fatty meat filled the air, and it was cooked through. The fish was smooth, tender, and delicious, seemingly the most delicious food he had ever tasted.

In no time, he had devoured the entire large fish.

Survival in the verdant valley wasn't a problem, but living like this day after day would be suffocating! Thinking of this, Zhang Wuji couldn't help but recall the vibrant life he had in the 21st century! He didn't need to be a king; in the 21st century, he, Zhang Wuji, could live just as freely and happily, even better than an immortal!

Chapter 003 Nine Yang Divine Skill

Zhang Wuji was busy until evening. Remembering that Zhu Changling must be starving, he picked a large handful of fresh fruit and tossed it through the cave. As for fish and meat, he absolutely couldn't give him any. Otherwise, if Zhu Changling ate his fill, he might widen the cave, and then Zhang Wuji would be in deep trouble. Anyone who's read *The Heaven Sword and Dragon Saber* knows that Zhu Changling is no good. Seeing

that it was already dark, Zhang Wuji, out of fear, lit a fire in the cave. Firstly, this would keep him warm; secondly, it would keep poisonous snakes and wild beasts away; and thirdly, he could read a book.

What book? Only the four copies of the *Nine Yang Divine Skill* remained. Zhang Wuji opened them and was filled with despair! It wasn't that he didn't recognize the characters—he recognized them all—but recognizing the characters was useless! Things like "Breathe in the Nine Yang, Embrace the One and Contain the Primordial Essence, this book may be called the Nine Yang True Scripture" involved acupoints and meridians like the Ren and Du meridians, the dantian, and the spring of life—things he knew nothing about. Reading the *Nine Yang Divine Skill* was a waste of time; it was utterly useless. Zhu Changling knew all about it, but he couldn't very well ask him. What if Zhu Changling learned it? That would be even worse.

Being a great hero in ancient times wasn't easy! In the 21st century, he spent over ten years studying to get into university, find a good job, or start a business. Ancient heroes also practiced martial arts diligently for twenty years, ultimately just to make a living and get ahead. It wasn't easy for either of them!

He couldn't figure out how to practice the *Nine Yang Divine Skill*. What was he going to do? He decided to memorize it first, and then find someone to teach him later! At worst, he could impersonate the deceased Zhang Wuji and go to Wudang Mountain to find Zhang Sanfeng! Yes, if he found Zhang Sanfeng, he wouldn't refuse to teach him! Meeting the Venerable Zhang would be a great stroke of luck! Zhang Wuji didn't have many idols, and Zhang Sanfeng was one of them.

Thinking this, Zhang Wuji immediately began memorizing the scriptures without hesitation. Although there were four scriptures, Tibetan text made up a large part, and the actual Chinese characters were relatively few. Zhang Wuji had been known for his photographic memory during his school days, so memorizing was a quick process.

Before he knew it, he felt a little sleepy while memorizing, and eventually fell asleep. He

was exhausted from the day, and even though this was a completely unknown world, it couldn't stop Zhang Wuji from his rendezvous with the Duke of Zhou (a figure in Chinese mythology associated with dreams). He

slept soundly all night, and nothing happened. When the sun rose the next day, Zhang Wuji woke up! It was unrealistic to brush his teeth in the morning; without a toothbrush or toothpaste, Zhang Wuji could only go to the Green Lake, wash his face, and rinse his mouth with water. He felt a bit sticky, and the weather was hot! His clothes smelled musty. Since no one was around, Zhang Wuji simply took off all his clothes, jumped into the Green Lake to bathe, and washed them all at the same time, then wrung them out and hung them to dry on a tree.

He caught a fish weighing about two pounds in the lake and picked some fruit for breakfast. Of course, Zhu Changling still only ate fruit each day, and in rations: three for breakfast, three for lunch, and four for dinner. This morning, he also caught a snow chicken; roasted chicken tasted much better than roasted fish.

While eating the roasted chicken wings, Zhang Wuji thought of Xia Rulan again, remembering that legendary and romantic night.

Xia Rulan had turned and left with the roasted chicken wings, and Zhang Wuji was still immersed in the smile she wore as she turned away.

Because Zhang Wuji's roasted chicken wings weren't cooked yet, he was still waiting.

The snow was falling heavier and heavier, but the barbecue stall owner was very patient, treating the grilled chicken wings like works of art. Zhang Wuji was usually very patient, but tonight he was a little impatient because he wanted to follow Xia Rulan back to school.

From the barbecue stall to the school, they had to pass through a winding alley. Normally, the alley was lined with shops, mainly catering to students, with bookstores being the most numerous, along with rice shops, game rooms, convenience stores, and a few small hotels, hair salons, massage parlors, and beauty salons. According to the students, those small hotels, beauty salons, and massage parlors were actually red-light districts. It was said that some students had even gone in. They said that a touch cost twenty yuan, and sex cost fifty yuan—that was the student price; for others, it would cost one hundred. Normally, this alley would be very lively, but that was on ordinary days. Because of the snow, many shops closed early, including the convenience stores, game rooms, rice shops, and bookstores. Even the beauty salons, massage parlors, and small hotels only had their LED signs flashing; the doors were all tightly shut!

The alley was exceptionally quiet on this snowy night, with hardly anyone walking around. The streetlights were dim, with seven out of ten lights out.

Zhang Wuji was still waiting for his barbecue, while Xia Rulan was already walking down the alley with grilled chicken wings.

Suddenly, a dark figure seemed to emerge from the ground, blocking Xia Rulan's path. Caught off guard, Xia Rulan bumped into him. Startled, she screamed, but before she could finish, her mouth was covered from behind. Two men grabbed her arms and pulled her down.

Xia Rulan was stunned, terrified; the word "pervert" flashed through her mind. She struggled desperately, but the strong arms held her firmly, and a cold metal shard was pressed against her face.

"If you move again, I'll stab you!" the voice was low and fierce.

Xia Rulan froze in terror, knowing it was definitely a knife. She had never encountered anything like this in her life; she didn't dare breathe, afraid the knife might injure her. At that moment, she was filled with desperate regret. She hated herself for not waiting and going with Zhang Wuji. Never before in her life had she so desperately hoped someone would come out, even just passing by. Unfortunately, fate had other plans. She didn't dare scream. If she did, Zhang Wuji and the barbecue stall owner would definitely hear her, but with the knife right in front of her face, she couldn't possibly scream!

The surroundings were quiet; there was no one around.

"Hurry up!" the burly man in front hissed, pressing the knife against her neck.

Xia Rulan trembled with fear; the hand covering her mouth had already loosened, but she dared not scream. The two men behind her quickly searched her, taking her handbag.

"How much?" the burly man with the knife asked in a low voice.

"Damn it, this woman only has a little over 200 yuan on her." Her accomplice behind her seemed very dissatisfied.

Xia Rulan pleaded in a trembling voice, "Big...Big Brother, please...please don't hurt me, you can take the money...I promise I won't call the police." She was trembling all over, almost unable to stand.

The cold knife pressed hard against her neck. "Shut up!"

Just then, a person on a bicycle turned into the alley. Xia Rulan saw this and felt a glimmer of hope for escape. She didn't know where the courage came from, but she opened her mouth to shout. However, the burly man reacted quickly, covering her mouth again, while two accomplices stepped forward to block her. The man on the bicycle, seeing this group tangled together, found it strange and slowed down, craning his neck to look. The burly man picked up a brick and threw it, cursing viciously, "What are you looking at, that big meat stick?! You want to die?!"

Hearing the threat, the man was terrified and ran away on his bike without looking back.

Xia Rulan was filled with despair. She looked at the burly man in front of her in terror, not knowing what he was going to do to her.

"You bitch, you're asking for it! I'm going to fuck you to death today!" he said, sealing her mouth with duct tape.

Then, he beckoned to his two accomplices, who dragged her towards the white van. It wasn't exactly dragging, but rather one man holding her body and the other her legs, forcibly lifting her into the van. Xia Rulan felt a rough, large hand roughly grabbing her thigh, while the other reached into her underwear, kneading her buttocks. She immediately understood what these men were going to do. She disregarded everything else, struggling frantically, her two white legs kicking and thrashing wildly, but she was no match for the men's strength. She was shoved into the van, two men flanking her on either side.

Xia Rulan sat in the middle, her hands bound behind her back, her hair disheveled, tears streaming down her face, desperately shaking her head, making muffled "woof" sounds, begging them to let her go. The two men remained unmoved. One of them, with dyed brown hair, brazenly groped Xia Rulan's pale thighs, leering as he said, "Damn, this woman's thighs are fucking white, feel amazing. It'll be fucking amazing to fuck her later. Damn."

Xia Rulan closed her eyes in despair, tears streaming down her face. She even contemplated suicide; she knew that falling into these men's hands might mean a fate worse than death. But she lacked the courage to fight to the death. Like a lifeless puppet, she gave up the struggle.

The burly man driving didn't start the car. He said, "You guys get out and try to make some more money. In this weather tonight, 200 yuan isn't even enough for a hot pot meal. Don't just think about women..."

"Damn, there's nobody around right now. Why don't we play with some women first?"

"Yeah, have you guys ever tried doing it in the car?"

The blond guy's eyes lit up, looking like he was about to explode with lust. He said, "Damn, that's fucking exciting. I've never tried it here before... Oh... I'm getting hard just thinking about it. I've been holding back for so long. I won't stop until I've filled her pussy to the brim." He was about to make his move!

The long-haired man leaned against the car window, peering around anxiously. He said to the leader, somewhat uneasily, "Damn, is it safe doing this here? What if someone sees us?"

Before the burly driver could speak, the blond-haired man scoffed, "Damn, see what? Look around, it's pitch black, not a soul in sight. Who with a big dick would be here just to watch the show? So what if someone sees us? If it's a woman, we'll rape her too. If it's a man, we'll fucking cripple him!" He seemed to be completely consumed by lust, eager to get his hands on something first, his words utterly reckless and arrogant.

The long-haired man, finding this plausible, was no longer worried.

At this moment, if her mouth hadn't been taped shut, Xia Rulan would have been fearless, even unto death, and would have screamed out loud. Unfortunately, she couldn't scream now, only cry!

"Heh, go ahead and cry, cry louder! This place is full of migrant workers. If you wake them up, they'll gang rape you when they come over!"

The blond-haired man glanced back at the burly man, giving him a knowing look, extremely smug!

Just then, another car drove into the alley. The headlights shone blindingly, illuminating the van in the darkness. The burly driver shielded his eyes as the Santana slowly approached. The two people inside noticed the situation, and whether out of overconfidence or negligence, they didn't leave anyone to watch Xia Rulan. They all got out of the car, not even closing the doors.

The driver was alone. He rolled down the window, leaned out, and shouted, "Whose car is this?!

How did you park it?! You're blocking everyone's way! Get out of here!" He then slammed the horn, the sharp "beep...!!" ringing out clearly in the quiet night.

Xia Rulan, who was in a daze inside the van, was pulled back to reality by the sharp sound of the car horn. She instantly snapped back to reality. Seeing that the three men were no longer in the van, a strong will to survive surged within her. She couldn't hear the chaotic voices outside, nor did she care; she only wanted to seize this golden opportunity to escape.

The burly driver glanced back at the van and then cursed at Santana, who had gotten in from the back, "You fucking swear at me again?! You want to die? Get out of here! If you don't get out, I'll smash the car!" He took a threatening step forward. The two men who got out of the van followed suit.

But Santana's driver wasn't easily intimidated. He pushed open the door and got out, tilting his head back like a fighting rooster: "Hey... you little brat, don't you want to live anymore? Come on, come here, try smashing this!? I'll break your legs!" He rolled up his sleeves.

Xia Rulan struggled to slowly and carefully get out of the car, her hands still tied behind her back, making her movements difficult. She glanced around and saw that no one seemed to notice her, then carefully moved inch by inch towards the back of the car.

As she was cautiously moving, a sudden scream startled her, "Hey! Oh no! She's run away!"

It turned out the blond-haired man had turned his head and seen her.

Xia Rulan's mind went blank, and she turned and ran without a second thought. The driver of the Santana across the street craned his neck to look, seemingly drawn to the scene. Xia Rulan's hands were tied, and one of her high heels had fallen off. She stumbled and staggered, but the blond-haired man caught up with her after only a few steps. He grabbed her from behind, and Xia Rulan struggled, screaming with her last ounce of hope, "Help me...!!!" before fainting.

Just then, Zhang Wuji had finished grilling the chicken wings. On his way back, he saw two cars arguing, but he didn't care and walked past. However, when he heard Xia Rulan scream, he suddenly woke up and shouted, "Teacher Xia!?" He then rushed over.

At that moment, Xia Rulan vaguely felt that her surroundings were chaotic, with sounds of crashing, shouting, and smashing. She struggled to open her eyes and seemed to see someone fighting with three thugs.

She sat there dazedly until a strong hand grabbed her and pulled her forward. She followed him involuntarily. Only when they rushed out of the alley and into a place with lights and people did the three thugs leave.

After some time, a series of soft greetings, "Teacher Xia, Teacher Xia, are you alright?" gradually brought her back to her senses. What

came into view was Zhang Wuji's concerned and anxious face. Xia Rulan stared at him blankly, then suddenly turned her head nervously and looked around, her face full of terror.

Zhang Wuji gently comforted her, "It's alright, there are no bad people here. You're saved."

Xia Rulan stared at him, still shaken, and murmured, "I...I'm saved?" Looking at Zhang Wuji's concerned expression and the bruises on his face, clearly from the fight, a surge of indescribable emotion welled up inside her. Just moments before, she had felt utterly helpless, desperate to the point of contemplating suicide. But now, facing a familiar face (Xia Rulan felt like she would treat any acquaintance as family), she felt an indescribable warmth. This stark contrast finally broke her taut nerves. Feelings of grievance, humiliation, and fear overwhelmed her. Her shoulders trembled, and with a loud "Wah!" she threw herself into Zhang Wuji's arms, bursting into tears, revealing her vulnerable side.

She desperately needed comfort, someone to lean on, no matter who it was.

Taking advantage of the situation, Zhang Wuji embraced Xia Rulan, inwardly marveling at the twists of fate. The fight with the three thugs had been incredibly dangerous; thankfully, the owner of the Santana had called the police, allowing the thugs to drive away. Even so, Zhang Wuji had taken several heavy punches and kicks! He desperately carried Xia Rulan towards a crowded street, until they were almost back at school. The school gatekeeper, seeing Zhang Wuji carrying Xia Rulan, asked what had happened. Not wanting too many people to know what had happened, Zhang Wuji said he had drunk too much. He

then supported Xia Rulan along the school path until they reached the eaves of the library, where he finally put her down.

At that moment, Zhang Wuji gently stroked Xia Rulan's shoulders, letting her face rest against his chest, and said in the gentlest of voices, "Teacher Xia, don't be afraid, it's alright, everything is over. I will always protect you."

At this moment, Xia Rulan felt a strange, inexplicable feeling towards her savior. She had previously regarded him as a student, but now he felt like family. Therefore, she didn't find anything wrong with what he said; on the contrary, she felt this man was a reliable and good person. She wiped her eyes and sat up, only then realizing her earlier movement was a bit off, and two red clouds immediately rose to her cheeks. She quickly straightened her clothes and said with her head down, "Zhang, thank you..." Suddenly, she noticed bloodstains on Zhang Wuji's arm. Startled, she covered her mouth and said nervously, "You...you're bleeding from your arm! You're injured!?"

Zhang Wuji glanced at her arm and said casually, "It's nothing, just a superficial wound. I'll put some iodine and gentian violet on it when I get back to the dorm."

"He was injured for me..." Xia Rulan's heart was instantly filled with an indescribable emotion. She also recalled the scene during her unconsciousness, where she vaguely saw Zhang Wuji fighting against three thugs, desperately protecting her, and carrying her as he ran. She said urgently, "How can that be? We need to go to the hospital..." She had lost all her things, and now that she was clear-headed, going to the hospital was her natural first thought.

"Don't go. It'll be more troublesome if the school investigates. I didn't even tell the school security guards.

Even though you weren't assaulted, rumors are terrifying in this world. It's better not to cause trouble. Anyway, my injury is nothing!" Zhang Wuji hesitated, looking at Xia Rulan.

Xia Rulan, upon hearing this, felt that Zhang Wuji was not only brave and upright but also very thoughtful, considering everything perfectly!

"You don't have any medicine in your dorm, do you? Why don't you come to my dorm..." Xia Rulan said to Zhang Wuji.

"I... I have some Yunnan Baiyao in my dorm..."

Zhang Wuji gazed into her eyes, his chest heaving, and gently but firmly grasped Xia Rulan's hand. Xia Rulan tried to pull away a few times but couldn't. She didn't want to be too forceful with the person who had just saved her, so she let him hold her hand. Zhang Wuji said slowly but clearly in the most affectionate tone, "Teacher Xia, thank you!"

"You are my savior, so I should be the one thanking you!" Xia Rulan said, bowing her head.

Zhang Wuji followed Xia Rulan back to her dormitory. Since she was a newly assigned teacher, Xia Rulan's dormitory was a simple one-bedroom apartment, but it was very cozy and had everything one would need.

Xia Rulan carefully helped Zhang Wuji take off his clothes, applied medicine to his wounds, and even had him take a shower and change into new clothes.

"It's so late, you can't go back to the dormitory. Why don't you stay here tonight? Tomorrow is Saturday anyway!"

Xia Rulan said to Zhang Wuji.

"But..." Zhang Wuji was worried about staying, but he couldn't be too overjoyed. He said, "Won't this bother you?"

"No, it won't. You can sleep in my room!" Xia Rulan said.

"Then...where will you sleep?" Zhang Wuji asked.

Xia Rulan smiled and said, "I'll sleep in the bed!"

"No, how can you sleep in the bed, Teacher?! I'll sleep in the bed!"

"You're my savior, and you're also injured, go sleep in the room!"

...

As they pushed each other, suddenly, in one push, they bumped into each other, their lips touching...

Startled, they quickly separated. But the lingering fragrance of that touch was unforgettable for Zhang Wuji, so he did something he would be proud of for the rest of his life. Of course, at the time, that action was absolutely a reckless gamble for Zhang Wuji...

But years later, it proved that everything Zhang Wuji did that legendary night was so correct, so natural, even perfect!

Recalling this, Zhang Wuji, facing the world he had traveled to eight hundred years ago, couldn't help but smile bitterly. Alone in the cave, facing the empty surroundings, how desolate it was. If I had a choice, I would never have transmigrated here. There are no airplanes, no cell phones, no TVs, no karaoke rooms, no beds, no air conditioning, no refrigerators—nothing at all! Even defecating requires using the most primitive bamboo sticks! More importantly, there's no Xia Rulan, my beloved, no school beauties from my three years of high school, and no romantic escapades! Back in the 21st century, after that magical, romantic night, Zhang Wuji's fate was like opening Pandora's box. Lady Luck smiled upon him overnight, and countless beauties appeared in his life, one romantic encounter after another! For a thousand days and nights in high school, Zhang Wuji enjoyed a life of happiness even emperors couldn't match!

But what can I enjoy after transmigrating? Being trapped alone in a cave? Sleeping on a cold stone bed, eating wild fruit, and even roasted snow chicken and white fish taste terrible because they lack salt and seasoning!

For Zhang Wuji, if he couldn't learn the Nine Yang Divine Skill, he'd probably never leave this Green Valley. For him, that would be an utterly unlucky time-travel experience! Zhang Wuji now thought that novelists never considered the hardships of ancient life; they only thought about how easy it was to win over beautiful women! Such wishful thinking without real-life experience is truly terrifying. Everyone wants to travel back in time to become a king, but they don't realize that the first thing they might face upon arrival is simply surviving!

At this moment, Zhang Wuji really wished he could drag one of the time-travel authors down with him and let him experience the pain of time travel firsthand.
