Alibuda Chronicles Volume 26: Chapter 8 A Dead End

"That bastard Fang, he actually negotiated with those scum from Solancia and conspired against me! It's outrageous! If Amadeus is damaged, I'll make him pay until he's bankrupt!"

In the spacious bathroom, I leaned back against the marble bathtub, recalling the events of the day's race. My anger hadn't subsided, and I couldn't help but curse.

"He messed with my car this time, but last time he was peeping at my woman's breasts, staring intently until he crashed through the wall. Did he think an apology would make it all go away? Damn it."

"Senior Brother Fang isn't inherently bad; he just followed the wrong master and was manipulated by Uncle Xin Chan, which is why he did all these wrong things."

Yu Hong spoke softly as she stepped out of the bathtub, revealing a well-proportioned, fair-skinned body. She and her sister Yu Ni sat facing each other on my lap, letting me hold their waists and kiss their tender breasts.

"However, perhaps Senior Brother Fang already knows, but he still chooses to stand with Uncle Xin Chan. After all, he's the mentor who guided him through his growth; emotions might override principles..."

"Oh, you know him very well. What if you were in his shoes? Would you be the same as him?"

"Absolutely not." Yu Hong answered decisively, her breasts trembling slightly before my eyes. "The value of justice surpasses everything. If I were in Senior Brother Fang's shoes, I would definitely put righteousness above family ties and slay demons and evil spirits."

"Well said, I should applaud you. So... am I considered wicked?"

—My

union with Ni Hong was indeed a wonderful experience. Having intercourse with twins is completely incomparable to having intercourse with two ordinary beauties.

I always felt that Yu Ni and Yu Hong were each a split individual, and only when the two of them were united was it a complete soul. And fucking this perfect soul... ah, it was incredibly satisfying.

However, our encounter had a small flaw. At the very end, Xue suddenly burst in, telling us something was wrong. She had released a vigilant spirit to warn her, and the warning was directed at Amadeus.

This was a huge shock. I quickly grabbed Xue and rushed to Amadeus's parking area, where a group of skilled fighters from the Third New Tokyo City were on guard. But when Xue and I arrived, the fighters were all lying unconscious, knocked to the ground.

The attackers hadn't killed them, only stunned them, rendering them unable to retaliate. But just the attack itself demonstrated their power. Xue and I dared not be careless, slowly entering the parking garage, cautiously guarding against a sneak attack, completely unprepared for this scene.

"Amitabha, benefactor, a person's life has both karmic debts and many good ones!"

An unexpected, uninvited guest appeared before Amadeus: a seemingly unremarkable monk, none other than Xin Chan, the abbot of the Cihang Jingdian Temple.

(Damn it, I'm alone! Can Ah Xue and I possibly defeat this bald old thief?)

With just Ah Xue and me, a fight against Xin Chan would naturally be more likely to end in defeat than victory. However, if we just needed to hold out until reinforcements arrived, that wasn't impossible. After all, he was the abbot of the Cihang Jingdian Temple; he couldn't openly commit murder and arson. The only concern was the old thief's Tathagata Palm technique; I wondered just how powerful it truly was.

However, just as I was about to give Ah Xue a meaningful look, Xin Chan suddenly stated that his purpose in coming was only to speak with me privately. If I agreed to talk, today's matter could be resolved peacefully without harming anyone.

Unable to find me through his disciple, this bald thief actually came personally. But would I possibly agree? With Ah Xue by my side, at least I can buy time for reinforcements. If I speak to the old bald thief alone, and he attacks without a word, I can't withstand his Buddha's Palm.

(Damn it, it's all Ah Qi's fault. If he hadn't sealed the Yama Corpse Mantis, I might not only be willing to negotiate with the old bald thief, but I might even secretly kill him.)

Thinking about using the Yama Corpse Mantis, my head started to throb again, as if that indescribable, insane headache was about to flare up again. I focused my mind to clear my mind of distractions and suppress the headache, but then I heard Xin Chan speak to me, indicating that if I didn't want to talk to him...

"Benefactor Farrell, I will pursue the matter of you abducting my nephew."

"Ha, you bald thief, Yu Ni and Yu Hong were just having a threesome with me. Your junior brother, Layman Xin Deng, knows everything. Even he has no objection. What are you pursuing?"

“Since it’s mutual affection, it can’t be called abduction. But I have more than one niece, and although some of them are unrecognizable even to their teachers, I can still recognize them.”

As he spoke, Xin Chan the bald man’s eyes swept over me, then fixed on Ah Xue. In an instant, a chill ran down my spine, a feeling of negotiating a deal with a demon.

“Ah Xue, go out. I need to talk to the master.”

“Master, but you’re alone…”

“Get out!”

I said firmly, dismissing Ah Xue and leaving Xin Chan the bald man alone. Because of my anxiety, I didn’t even tell her to bring a helper.

"You bald thief, just state your conditions!"

I boldly began negotiating with the bald thief, Xin Chan. The negotiations were utter nonsense; I could guess what he meant without him uttering a word. It was nothing more than accusations of being misled, of seeing things not being the truth—worthless drivel. After a few sentences, I impatiently interrupted.

"Yes, what you see isn't the truth. So, you, this seemingly virtuous monk, are actually the mastermind behind everything—a fact we already fully understand. Therefore, let's skip the meaningless chatter and get to the point."

The point? What was the point? It was obvious: he wanted me to stop my conspiracies and not reveal the secrets of the Beacon Fire Universe Circle, or the consequences would be dire.

What a pity! If the Black Dragon King hadn't pushed me so far, and if the bald thief had come to negotiate when I first arrived in the Golden Finch Federation, I would have likely agreed. But now he's only bringing it up. If I agreed, how would I deal with Layman Xin Deng and Yu Hong? Should I team up with Xin Chan and the Black Dragon King to kill Xin Deng and train Yu Hong into a sex slave?

That's a good idea, but I don't trust Xin Chan and Kurosawa Kazuo. Besides, killing Xin Deng, my master who took advantage of me, is fine, but Yu Hong is practically a sex slave now. I'm not going to change the status quo for such a small gain. My

only concern is that Xin Chan knows Ah Xue's secret. If I don't comply, I'll be accused of "abducting and seducing" the Holy Maiden Tianhe Xueqiong. However, this concern was almost instantly dismissed.

I've blackmailed people before, and this isn't the first time I've been coerced. I know all too well that once you compromise, you'll be at their mercy. And the one holding the secret and using it for blackmail will never do it only once. If I don't want to be led by the nose forever, I should have broken things off the first time.

(Damn it, so what if it's confirmed she's Tianhe Xueqiong? Is there any evidence that I did this to her? Even if I ask her, she'll just say I'm her great benefactor. If she tries to blackmail me with that, I'll fight her to the death.)

Once this decision was made, the rest was simple. I was wary of Xinchan the Bald and loudly declared that I wasn't afraid of him revealing his secrets. I told him to kill me immediately if he dared, but my henchmen were already lying in ambush. If he made a move, they would tear him to pieces. This might sound a bit blustering and lacking in conviction, but given the current situation, that was all I could say.

"Amitabha, you misunderstand, benefactor. This humble monk is a monk; how could I arbitrarily commit murder? However, the matter of the Beacon Fire Universe Ring is of utmost importance. I cannot allow you to uncover the secrets within this sacred artifact."

Xin Chan chanted a Buddhist prayer, ignoring me as I retreated. Seeing that I had already reached the doorway, he still showed no intention of pursuing me. I had just begun to wonder when I suddenly remembered something and cried out in alarm. It

was too late to stop him. Xin Chan, the bald thief, flipped his left palm, and suddenly a radiant light surged forth, like a surging sea of clouds, layer upon layer. Then, a dazzling holy light emanated from his palm, illuminating the entire room. Shockwaves swept in all directions like a raging tsunami. Standing far away, I nearly lost my footing, horrified to witness the immense power of the Cihang Jingdian Sect Leader's ultimate technique.

The first move of the Tathagata Palm: The First Appearance of Buddha's Light!

The attack, personally performed by the current head of the Cihang Jingdian sect, was several times more powerful than that of Master Ku's attack that day. Amidst my piercing screams of pain, the entire Amadeus exploded into a shower of black metal fragments with a loud "bang." Both the outer shell and the internal metal machinery were pulverized, further crushed and twisted by Wuchou's palm strike during the explosion, leaving them unrecognizable upon impact.

The shockwave sent me sprawling, losing my footing and tumbling backward. I saw the old bald thief Xinchan smash the Amadeus with one palm strike, then smash through the roof with another, using his lightness skill to escape before Ah Xue could rush in.

"Old...old bald thief!"

No matter how loud or miserable my cries, I couldn't change the fact that had already happened. Although I had realized the importance of the Amadeus, I hadn't been entirely vigilant, failing to anticipate that the enemy, unable to attack it head-on, would resort to attacking the Amadeus as a means of defense.

(Damn it, I thought they wouldn't know who was driving the Amadeus, but with only one race left, there are only a few people who have a chance to compete for the championship. Aqi is Ishtar, and I'm actually the one whose identity is the most obvious. What a miscalculation.)

This move was really ruthless. Xin Chan showed mercy and didn't even kill a single person in the whole process. Even if he faces my perverted father in the future, he will have room to explain. But the Amadeus is destroyed. Unless I can get one in time for the next race, I will lose my qualification to participate.

But...

"Young Master, I regret to inform you that the Amadeus is completely destroyed. We will try to repair it, but the chance of success is less than one in three thousand."

I can see this without you explaining it. All the parts were destroyed by the palm force, even the screws were turned into round discs. If it can be repaired like this, then there will be no such thing as death in the world.

"As for rebuilding one before the next race, due to the difficulty in collecting some materials, the chance of success is less than one in three hundred million."

This meant there was absolutely no hope. Fortunately, I had no expectations of them either; otherwise, hearing this answer would have probably made me despair to the point of vomiting blood and dying on the spot.

Mao Yan'an, Xin Deng Jushi, Ni Hong, and others arrived one after another. Upon learning of this accident, they were both surprised and shocked. But no matter how much they lamented, they couldn't restore Amadeus. The technicians of the Third New Tokyo City couldn't do it, and neither could my weird, cool-acting father.

For a while afterward, we were plunged into a gloomy atmosphere. Everyone racked their brains, but couldn't create something out of nothing. With the race date drawing ever closer, Mao Yan'an even proposed the absurd idea of "urgently making a black metal car body to put on horses as a race car," but faced with the current predicament, he could only sigh helplessly.

Xin Chan didn't use Tianhe Xueqiong's secret to cause me trouble. It seems that since he's already confident of victory, he doesn't need to do anything unnecessary to create unforeseen complications.

Yueying visited us several times, constantly encouraging us. However, the problem at hand cannot be solved with money or power.

Without participating in the race and winning the Beacon Fire Universe Ring, there's no hope of exposing Xin Chan's true colors and bringing him down. If he uses this opportunity to dismiss all the doubts about him as rumors, his image as a high monk will become even more solidified and unshakeable. Then, his next step will be to eliminate those unstable elements like us, and then we'll be in real trouble.

I know this very well, yet I have no good strategy. Two nights before the race, I went to the secret workshop and saw the crooked, repeatedly reassembled "Amadeus" car disintegrate into a pile of scrap metal with a deafening crash. I knew very well that in this game with the Golden Flower Federation, we had lost completely!
