"The Busty Teacher Liu Yan" - Chapter 175: Ma Xiaoqing's English Class (03)

On the other end of the phone, Ma Jun was stunned. He hadn't expected his cousin to be so resolute. He urgently called Liu Yan to ask her what was going on, but she didn't answer and eventually turned off her phone.
Why, why did this happen? Ma Jun was heartbroken. He had been having a good chat with Liu Yan these past two days. How could she suddenly make such a decision? Had he done something to upset his cousin again? Or had his relationship with Li Wen, Gao Hongmei, and Cao Meng been exposed?
Ma Jun paced around his bedroom like a cat on a hot tin roof. The thought of possibly losing his cousin forever made him feel breathless and like everything had lost its meaning.
The bedroom was unbearably hot, yet he shivered uncontrollably, feeling as if he were in an ice cellar. His mind was a jumbled mess, and he didn't know what he could do to win back his cousin.
He logged onto QQ on his phone and kept sending Liu Yan hundreds of text messages until his fingers ached. But Liu Yan never replied. It seemed that his cousin was determined to break up with him this time.
The day finally came. Ma Jun plopped down on the edge of the bed, wanting to cry but unable to. It felt like something was stuck in his chest, making him feel uncomfortable.
Ma Jun wanted to shout out loud, but he was afraid of disturbing his mother, so he quietly left the house. It was already midnight, and it was pitch black outside. The streets were deserted, with no one around. Only the streetlights shone with a cold light, making people feel extremely desolate.
My cousin and I have known each other for less than three months, but those three months have felt like three years. We've been through so many ups and downs, separated and reunited, just like a real couple comforting each other's hearts.
Ma Jun had thought a lot about it, imagining that he would be with Liu Yan in the future and completely replace Xu Zhipeng's position. At the very least, he could enjoy his cousin's alluring body like he did with Zhang Li and Gao Hongmei. But he never expected that he would be the one to lose in the end. His cousin ultimately chose Xu Zhipeng, and he lost miserably.
Ma Jun ran all the way to the South Suburb Park. The park, which was bustling during the day, was now deserted. The swaying shadows of the trees resembled the graceful figure of Sister Yan. He ran to a big tree and punched and kicked the thick trunk, shouting and yelling. Finally, he couldn't hold back his tears and they flowed down his cheeks.
"Sister Yan! Sister Yan! Don't leave me!" Ma Jun cried out, tears streaming down his face, like a desperate beast. His hands were rubbed raw by the rough bark of the tree, and his heart was breaking. He wished he could leave this world forever and escape this endless pain.
Liu Yan has truly given up on herself. All the sweetness they once shared is now just a fleeting memory. Ma Jun feels like a pathetic clown, as if the whole world is mocking his naivety and unrequited love.
Finally, Ma Jun left the South Suburb Park in a daze and instinctively walked south along Fuxi Road, wanting to reach Guangzhou and tell Liu Yan in person how much he cared about her. He didn't know how long he walked, only that his legs felt as heavy as if they were filled with water, and his head ached as if it were being pricked with needles, but his spirit was extremely excited, which supported him to continue walking forward.
As dawn broke, Ma Jun could walk no more. He realized he had walked onto the highway leading to Changji City. A No. 13 bus slowly pulled up and stopped at a bus stop not far away. Two young people got off the bus, carrying large bags and small packages. They seemed to be returning from out of town. The two looked very close. The boy pointed to a courtyard not far away and said something. The girl seemed a little nervous, probably visiting the boy's house for the first time.
Ma Jun felt a pang of pain in his heart and suddenly came to his senses. Even if he went to Guangzhou, what difference would it make? Could he persuade Liu Yan to divorce Xu Zhipeng? Compared to the few months he had spent with Liu Yan, Xu Zhipeng undoubtedly held a more important place in Liu Yan's heart. After all, they had known each other for a longer time and had the approval of both sets of parents. They were an open and aboveboard couple, while he was just a shameful third party.
He didn't dare expose his ambiguous relationship with Liu Yan. If Liu Yan got divorced, would he dare to tell her with a clear conscience that he would support her? Would he dare to bring Liu Yan to his mother and say that he wanted to marry this woman?
"Forget it," Ma Jun said with a wry smile. He suddenly realized that his cousin's decision was correct and rational. The two of them could never be together, so why should he keep pestering her?
Cao Meng, Zhang Li, Gao Hongmei, and Li Wen were all willing to maintain this physical relationship with him because they had lost faith in marriage and their partners. But Liu Yan was different. Would he really go to such lengths to ruin his cousin's marriage? He couldn't bring himself to do such a thing.
Ma Jun walked to the bus stop, waited for the next No. 13 bus, and returned to Gu County. When he got home, he saw his mother mopping the floor. Seeing her son return, she asked, "Ma Jun, where have you been?"
"Oh, I'm going for a run." Ma Jun looked at his mother's slightly hunched figure, quickly stepped forward to take the mop, and said, "Mom, let me do it, you rest for a while."
"I'm fine." Song Ping straightened up, patted her back, and said with a smile, "Ma Jun, how did your class at Teacher Ma's house yesterday go?"
"It's great. Teacher Ma is very patient, and I feel like I've learned a lot," Ma Jun said.
"Oh, that's good. You see how much Teacher Ma has helped you, it wouldn't be right if we didn't express our gratitude. How about this, when you go again tonight, bring some fruit with you, so they won't think we're impolite." Song Ping took out a hundred yuan and handed it to her son. "Buy whatever you think is best, and remember that."
"Mom, no need, Teacher Ma isn't that kind of person," Ma Jun said helplessly. "It would seem too formal, and Teacher Ma definitely wouldn't accept it."
"You don't know anything." Song Ping glared at her son and said with dissatisfaction, "Whether she wants it or not is her business, whether you send it or not is your business. These are two different things. It's summer vacation now, not school season. Teacher Ma is sacrificing her rest time to tutor you and doesn't charge any money. Do you really think she's doing a good deed like Lei Feng?"
"Oh, okay." Ma Jun lazily stuffed the money into his pocket, a wave of drowsiness washing over him, and he couldn't help but yawn. He hadn't slept all night, and now he finally couldn't hold on any longer.
"You're yawning first thing in the morning. Did you stay up late again last night?" Song Ping frowned when she saw her son looking listless. "If you keep doing this, I'm going to confiscate your computer. You have no self-discipline at all."
"Mom, I didn't stay up all night, it's just that it was too hot and I didn't sleep well." Ma Jun quickly explained. Thinking of how miserable he was last night, he felt a pang of bitterness in his heart. His cousin's casual words made him feel like he had died once. Perhaps she was having a sweet breakfast with Xu Zhipeng right now, planning a bright future for her and her husband, while he had been completely forgotten by her.
"Well, that's for the best." Song Ping nodded, sighed, and said, "Ma Jun, there's something I want to discuss with you. I want to open a shop in the city, but I lack start-up capital. I've tried all sorts of methods these past few days, but I still have a shortfall. So I'm thinking of mortgaging the house we live in to the bank to get a loan. After all, doing business is risky, and this is the only property your father left you. I haven't decided whether I should mortgage it or not."
"Mom, I'll listen to you." Ma Jun understood immediately. He said solemnly, "This house isn't left to me. It's your and Dad's joint property. You have the right to make any decision. No matter what the consequences are, I will support your decision and I will never complain. Just go ahead and do it. I believe in you."
"This child..." Song Ping shook her head helplessly and said with a light laugh, "Alright then, I'll go to the bank to make the mortgage today. I'll be quite busy during this period and won't have time to take care of you. Take care of yourself."
"Okay, Mom, you have to work hard and strive to make it bigger and stronger, become a big boss, and then I'll be a rich second generation. Hahaha." Ma Jun said with a grin.
"Alright, stop joking around. The food's in the pot. I'm going to the bank to take care of some business." Song Ping said before hurriedly leaving home.
After his mother left, Ma Jun's smile quickly disappeared. He plopped down on the sofa, turned on the TV and kept changing channels. Although he was extremely sleepy, he dared not close his eyes, because if he did, he would see his cousin's charming and alluring face and sexy, tall figure.
If he had never had it, he wouldn't be suffering like this. Ma Jun felt that he would rather go back to the time when he first saw Liu Yan and was just like other boys, simply daydreaming. That would have been a kind of happiness. Unfortunately, everything is gone now.
Ma Jun barely finished his breakfast, then went back to his bedroom, lay down on the bed, covered himself with the blanket, and fell into a deep sleep. He didn't wake up until 5 PM. He slept for so long that it felt like Liu Yan's words from the previous night were a dream. But when he opened QQ and saw the hundreds of text messages he had sent, his heart sank. He knew he wasn't dreaming; it was all real. His cousin really didn't want him anymore. Just then, Huang Guoxin's QQ avatar started shaking. What was this guy up to now? Ma Jun clicked on it and saw that Huang Guoxin had sent him over a dozen photos—all secretly taken pictures of women in bikinis at the beach.
Ma Jun shook his head helplessly. This guy really never forgets to give him perks wherever he goes, but he's not in the mood to appreciate them right now.
"Ma Jun, how's it going? There are so many sexy beauties here, I can't even take my eyes off them all. My dick is rock hard, I'm going to masturbate again tonight. You're envious, aren't you? My mom said she asked you to come over last time, but you refused. Now you regret it, aren't you?"
Huang Guoxin sent a smug emoji, which made Ma Jun want to punch him. He was feeling sad, and this guy was provoking him.
"Get lost! I'm annoyed." Ma Jun sent a bomb emoji.
"What happened? Did Li Ting dump you? Hahaha. You've finally gotten what you deserved. Let me show you what I felt a few days ago."
Ma Jun was speechless, but he couldn't help wishing it was Li Ting who broke up with him, because he wouldn't care at all. But it just so happened to be his cousin.
"You two aren't really having problems, are you?" Seeing that Ma Jun didn't reply, Huang Guoxin sent another message, "But I heard from Fang Lei that you two are getting along quite well, and Li Ting was even planning to bring you a gift."
"Alright, Li Ting and I are fine, it's something else," Ma Jun explained helplessly. "By the way, what's going on between you and Fang Lei? Something seems off between you two."
"What's wrong with this? This is just normal friendship between classmates." Huang Guoxin typed quickly. "Who's as hypocritical as you? You say you don't like Li Ting, but you're secretly trying to steal her away. On behalf of all the boys in the class, I despise you, you scoundrel."
It seems that Huang Guoxin is still resentful about Ma Jun and Li Ting being together, but the fact that he can joke about it to their faces shows that he has indeed let it go.
