Liu Chenglin nodded, seriously considering Liu Xiangyun's words. It was time to act; he couldn't continue like this. This bodyguard job was no longer enough for him; he wanted to aim higher. Seeing that her words had caught Liu Chenglin's attention, Liu Xiangyun stopped talking and turned to call Ding Ningxia and Sun Feifei to go upstairs.

Liu Chenglin sat on the sofa, lost in thought. He recalled events from the past few years and considered his future. After a long while, he looked up, a glint in his eyes. He knew what he needed to do: go with the flow, seize the opportunity, and take a gamble. Things weren't easy to accomplish, and opportunities weren't easy to come by. Wanting to get rich overnight was unrealistic; he had to work hard to find opportunities. Therefore, he decided to continue working as a bodyguard and start his own business when the time was right! He wanted to make a name for himself, to let others know that although he hadn't attended university, he could still achieve great things. Only with capital could he make those around him happier. Thinking this, Liu Chenglin seemed to see a broad road leading to the distance, though the road was full of thorns, he believed he could overcome it.

After going upstairs, Liu Xiangyun locked herself in her room, while Sun Feifei and Ding Ningxia were whispering intimately, laughing and talking.

"Fei'er, what are you thinking? Do you really intend to stay like this forever? Chenglin really wants you!"

Ding Ningxia said. She was fully aware of Liu Chenglin and Sun Feifei's ambiguous relationship, but instead of being jealous, she wanted to help them make up for her regret of not being able to give Liu Chenglin her virginity. Moreover, she knew that Sun Feifei and Liu Chenglin truly loved each other, but societal norms and traditional moral constraints prevented them from taking the first step, so she decided to help them.

An unnatural look flashed across Sun Feifei's face. She had considered what Ding Ningxia said, but the resistance from her family was undeniable. She was certain that if she and Liu Chenglin crossed that line, it would cause a huge uproar in her family. The first to likely not forgive them would be their grandfathers; their status and experience wouldn't allow such a thing to happen in their families. Therefore, although Sun Feifei also wanted to give herself to Liu Chenglin, she couldn't ignore these factors.

Seeing Sun Feifei's silence, Ding Ningxia knew things wouldn't be easy, but she still tried, saying, "Fei'er, when do you plan to wait? Are you really going to wait until your grandfather passes away before considering this? How old will you and Chenglin be then? Besides, your grandfather is in his prime; he won't let Chenglin stay outside forever."

Ding Ningxia seemed to have a large, fluffy tail growing from her backside, desperately tempting Sun Feifei.

Sun Feifei shook her head firmly and said, "Let's not talk about this anymore. Let's talk about it when the time is right. You need to tell me what's wrong with your illness."

At this point, Ding Ningxia's face changed. She was most afraid of people bringing up this matter, especially Liu Chenglin. Her illness made her feel so guilty towards Liu Chenglin; because of it, Wei Ming divorced her, so she feared Liu Chenglin would abandon her too.

Seeing her distress, Sun Feifei quickly comforted her, "Don't worry, I was just asking casually. That brat wouldn't dare to reject you. I know his character; I believe he won't abandon you no matter what."

Ding Ningxia's expression softened a little, and she said, "I don't know the specifics. I've been to all the major hospitals, but they can't find the cause. I just can't conceive! I..."

Ding Ningxia became anxious, and tears streamed down her face. Sun Feifei quickly comforted her, "Don't rush, tell me slowly. Have you explained this to that brat in detail?"
