[Fantasy] Gods and Demons Among Flowers (Complete) - Chapter 28

Chapter 155 of the Storm of the Gods:

The barrier dissipated, the sinister sound of the Five Elements Pearls fleeing, and my long sigh foreshadowed an ending—an ending that wasn't really an ending. Seeing me suddenly reappear before them, Hubert and Alaska were overjoyed, and even the Purple Gold Warriors were happy for my renewed victory.

However, before I could even feel happy, Dorrant, who was staring at me, began to break the illusion. From the beginning, I had decided to use the illusion to restrain Dorrant, because I sensed a familiar aura emanating from him. Sure enough, when I appropriately released my aura, I finally lured the old fox Dorrant into the trap.

Going back in time, the vast starry sky that Dorrant felt when our auras clashed was an illusion I deliberately created. Its purpose was to delay Dorrant and awaken his dormant memories, because I sensed a faint aura emanating from him, and I also detected a shadow in his mind, leading me to deduce that Dorrant had not yet truly awakened.

Upon entering the illusion, Dorrant felt as if the "I" before him had vanished into the entire starry sky. No, it shouldn't be called vanishing, but rather merging with it. The entire starry sky was me, and I was the starry sky. The immense spatial pressure made even Dorrant feel a little suffocated. The silent starry sky, adorned with distant stars, released a faint yet alluring light. A cosmic breeze arose, brushing against Dorrant's face, making him wonder if he was truly standing there.

However, despite this, Dorrant still harbored doubts, because even now, his "I" presence hadn't faded. The entire starry sky retained his presence, even the faint light and the gentle cosmic breeze contained his aura, as if he had created this place. Dorrant felt immense fear, for he realized he had fallen into the enemy's trap, and willingly at that. [

Thinking of the enemy's cunning, Dorrant realized what kind of mysterious organization his family had gotten himself involved with. Although he had fallen into someone else's trap, it didn't mean he had given in.] Dorrant's gaze swept across the vast starry sky, searching for a way to break free from the illusion. The starry sky remained as beautiful as ever, but who knew how many dangers lurked behind that beauty? This starry sky wasn't particularly large, nor was it small; before him, the starry sky seemed to come alive, rushing past him, constantly changing, the dazzling stars shifting. However, Dorrant paid no attention to these things. Beauty is only truly appreciated at specific times and places, and this place was clearly unsuitable for him. His gaze continued to sweep across the starry sky, and suddenly he noticed that no matter how the starry sky changed, how the stars disappeared and reappeared, there was always one place that remained unchanged. It seemed to be a blind spot, because if it weren't for his exceptional eyesight, he would have been completely unable to spot it. There were seven stars, faintly shining, almost invisible to the untrained eye. They were arranged in a key-like pattern, and every so often, one star would brighten above the others, lighting up in sequence. "

This is it!" Dorrant thought with a surge of joy, a sword suddenly appearing in his hand. He slowly rose above the ground, the sword dancing with a dreamlike grace, blooming like lotus flowers in the vast starry sky. His movements were so beautiful, his swordsmanship so masterful; anyone watching would be captivated. Suddenly, Dorrant stumbled, as if he had lost his grip, the sword flying from his hand like a streak of light, striking the center of the key-like pattern formed by the seven stars. This was a brilliant move—using his superior swordsmanship to deceive his opponent, then feigning a slip to strike his target. This move was impossible to defend against, and indeed held the potential for a surprise victory.

Unfortunately, there was only one observer in this starry sky, and I, being utterly disdainful of such swordsmanship, naturally spotted the sword that had transformed into a streak of light. Just as the sword was about to strike the center of the key, the starry sky suddenly shifted, and the seven stars vanished into the nebula. "

Truly worthy of the title 'Swift Hundred Swordsman Dorant,' you've found the weakness of my vast starry sky so quickly!" My voice of admiration echoed through the starry sky. However, I quickly changed my tone, continuing, "But the vast starry sky isn't something you can easily break through. I'll soon give you an appetizer!" At this moment, the vast starry sky changed again. The planets that were unreachable in Asado's eyes magnified in his, each one a colossal object, making him appear smaller than an ant. But that wasn't the main point, because he sensed a dangerous aura approaching. What was this danger? The destroyer and creator of life adrift in the universe—a meteorite. Meteorites, trailing long tails, hurtled towards him—danger! This was the warning in his mind. These were all illusions, yet why did his feelings feel so real? As the meteor shower drew closer, the oppressive feeling intensified.

None of this was real; it was all an illusion! Dorrant kept shouting inwardly. As if to verify this, he opened his arms, welcoming the gentle cosmic wind, preparing to face the first challenge.

The first meteorite at the forefront was not far from him, its dangerous aura constantly surrounding him. Just as the meteorite was less than two centimeters away, out of instinct, he teleported away, dodging the meteorite's attack. However, he quickly regretted it; the meteorites, having missed their target, vanished into thin air. So this was all truly an illusion. For the first time, Dorrant felt a sense of loss. But what happened next left him speechless: a meteorite comparable in size to an asteroid passed through the area where the meteor shower had flown, and the suction it generated made him feel as if his soul was leaving his body. As the meteor streaked past, he was still captivated by the sensation of spiritual separation, but he quickly snapped back to reality. The meteor hadn't disappeared as planned; instead, it hurtled towards the planet with a whooshing sound and a long tail.

A deafening roar echoed through the starry sky as the meteor collided with the planet, creating a violent explosion. Just as Dorrant was filled with curiosity, the starry sky seemed to know his thoughts, replaying the meteor's impact with the planet before his eyes. The meteor pierced the planet's atmosphere, burning itself as it crashed violently into the surface. With a deafening boom, massive flames erupted from the surface, the viscous, fiery red liquid adding to the oppressive atmosphere, while the overwhelming dark clouds brought a deathly silence to the entire planet. It felt like an eternity; he only knew that the lighter particles in the air slowly rose, forming the azure sky, while the turbid particles descended, forming a continent. Volcanic eruptions, tectonic shifts—he was overjoyed to discover how perfectly suited this creature was to live. Sure enough, fish appeared in the deep sea, reptiles appeared on land, and even more remarkably, the most intelligent of all beings—humans. However, these humans were born from the primordial chaos of heaven and earth, and thus the creator god arose. He created life on earth and created the gods; later generations called him the Father God. Time flew by, and Dorrant sensed a familiar figure among the main gods. That figure was proud and unruly, standing out among the gods with a divine sword. He was proud but not hypocritical, for he had the strength to prove his power; he was unruly but governed by law, and the Father God was his object of worship.

When the Father God created the gods, he also created the demons. While the Father God existed, gods and demons lived in harmony, without conflict. But when the Father God suddenly disappeared, the ideologies of gods and demons began to diverge, and the first great war between gods and demons broke out. The proud and unruly Dorrant was unknowingly drawn into this war. This war plunged the land into darkness, leaving carnage and carnage. He wielded the divine sword with an art form, his unparalleled skill arousing the jealousy of the gods and the siege of demons. Finally… with a boom, Dorrant felt a buzzing in his mind. A shadowy place in his consciousness suddenly brightened, and countless chaotic fragments of memories replayed in his mind. In the next moment, he understood why he felt a sense of familiarity with that god—for he was the other half of that god—the Sword God Sogau. (

Chapter 155 of the Chronicles of the Storm: The Other Half of a God 2)

A jumble of chaotic memories flooded his mind. After being organized and compressed, a complete recollection emerged. Replaying these fragments allowed Dorrant to understand things he hadn't grasped before. He realized that receiving the Sword God's favor wasn't due to luck, but because the Sword God had known from the beginning that he was Dorrant's other half from a past life. The prosperity of his family and the immortality bestowed upon him by the Sword God were all directly related to his own interests.

Once he understood this, a faint golden light emanated from him, slowly spreading throughout his body and growing brighter. With a hiss, cracks appeared on Dorrant's face, as if a sharp blade had sliced through his forehead, leaving a thin line running from his forehead to his chin. With a soft snap, the skin that had been with him for over two hundred years vanished, revealing a fair complexion beneath. With soaring, sword-like eyebrows, deep-set eyes, a high, straight nose, and tightly pressed, full lips, a slight smile playing at the corners of his mouth, what a handsome and dashing man!

Dorrant's body began to change. The clothes he wore, enveloped in golden light, vanished into dust, and his slightly wrinkled skin began to peel away, revealing skin as smooth as a baby's. His long, slender hands were crossed, further accentuating his tall, well-proportioned figure and masculine beauty. The golden light still lingered around him, and after the light dissipated, he was draped in a shimmering golden armor. However, this armor didn't resemble armor at all; rather, it looked like a tight-fitting swordsman's outfit. The supple fabric was dyed a sky-blue, and a row of gleaming metallic gems adorned the chest, serving a deeper purpose beyond its color. The sky-blue swordsman's outfit, paired with Dorrant's long, black hair, gave him an air of dashing elegance. The outfit resembled armor because of the circular shields on his shoulders, elbows, and knees, protecting his vulnerable areas from stronger attacks.

The golden light had faded, and the Dragon Sword, exclusive to the Sword God lineage, spun around him, seemingly protecting its master.

Seeing Dorrant slowly land on the ground, I smiled and greeted him, "Should I call you Dorrant, or Sword God Soga?" "Young Master, a name is just a label; what others call me is their business!" Dorrant said calmly. "

That's right. Sometimes names are a burden; it's better to have nothing at all." I clapped my hands and laughed, then my expression changed, and I asked, "How do you know my identity?" "Actually, it's nothing. I knew you ten years ago, but you didn't know me then." Dorrant strolled around, chuckling softly. "

You know me?" I searched my memory for something forgotten ten years ago, finally finding it in a dusty corner.

"Oh, it's you!" I exclaimed.

It was a summer ten years ago. The maverick Sword God, Soga, had finally lost the favor of the gods and came to visit my Divine Demon Palace, since my father was the Sword God's only friend. I remember he came without warning, and we met on the way. At ten, it was the most mischievous time of my life. Being of high status in the Divine Demon Palace, I rarely had playmates, so I entertained myself. That day, I happened to meet him, and a mischievous thought arose in my mind. While he was asking me about the Divine Demon Palace, I secretly led him into a large array I had set up—the Xuanhuang Lianyin Array. After bringing him inside, I quietly slipped away and activated what I considered the most powerful array at the time.

The array was indeed incredibly powerful then; caught off guard, he was immediately subjected to wind, lightning, and rain, leaving him in a sorry state. When he broke the formation, he looked as if he had crawled out of a charred pit, his once neat clothes undamaged. His sky-blue swordsman's robes, being a divine artifact, were naturally unharmed, but his soft, long hair suffered. After being battered by wind, thunder, and rain, some of his hair was uneven, some long strands stood on end, a testament to the strength of the electrical elements within the formation, and in other places, his hair was curled up. This was no ordinary rain; rain with strong scorching power would be harmless to human skin, but it was a different story for hair. The highly concentrated corrosive rain could even set hair ablaze.

Seeing his disheveled state as he emerged from the formation, I was overjoyed, giggling and clapping my hands. Little did I know, my joy would turn to sorrow. In my moment of triumph, I forgot to run away, and he caught me red-handed, grabbing me by the back of the collar and taking me back to the Divine Demon Palace.

"Back when I first saw you, you were just a mischievous child. I never imagined that ten years later you'd grow into such a handsome young man, your skills unfathomable. It seems I really have grown old!" Dorrant sighed softly, hands behind his back. "

Uncle, why do you say that? This is your prime time; how can you have such pessimistic thoughts?" I tried to comfort him, seeing his slightly melancholy eyes. "

You don't need to comfort me like that. I understand some things perfectly well. There are some things I need to discuss with you now, matters concerning the safety of the Three Realms!" Dorrant said solemnly, seeing my complete indifference. "

The Three Realms? Why?" I asked, puzzled , seeing Dorrant

's serious expression. "Because you are the savior of the Three Realms!" Every word Dorrant spoke struck my heart like a heavy blow, the weight of which made it hard to breathe. Savior—that's a title carrying immense responsibility. I, who only wanted to enjoy life, had somehow ended up with those three words. Was it really as he said? Did he even consider my feelings?

Savior?! "This is completely irrelevant to me!" I said coldly. "

Perhaps this is fate's arrangement for you!" Dorrant looked at me with a complicated expression and said. "Ten years ago, when he met me as a mischievous child, he deeply felt my extraordinary nature. Ten years later, seeing me again, besides sensing my unfathomable strength, he was even more astonished by the hidden aura of dominance within me. For this reason, he did not hesitate to expend his own power to cast a divination for me. The divination indicated that I was the one destined to save the Three Realms. You must know that besides his superb swordsmanship, the Sword God also possesses the Divine Divination Technique, another secret weapon of his. Unfortunately, few people know that he has this skill because he rarely uses it. After all, as a Divine Divination Technique that transcends the Sana Realm, it not only consumes his power but also his life force, so he will not use it unless in a crisis." "

I have never believed in fate. I just want to be myself!" I chose to respond coldly to Dorrant's words. "

Fine, I know that no matter what I say now, you will never believe me." "Think it over carefully. My other half from the divine realm is summoning me. Come find me at Sword Phoenix Mountain if you need anything!" Dorrant sighed. As he finished speaking, the Dragon Sword swirling around him hummed softly, emitting a golden light. The sword gradually expanded, finally stopping beside Dorrant. Dorrant sighed slightly, then lightly leaped onto the sword. Once he was steady, the Dragon Sword hummed and began to fly upwards against the breeze. Gradually, the Dragon Sword flew faster and faster, while Dorrant remained firmly on its blade, transforming into a shooting star and disappearing into the night sky.

As Dorrant vanished into the void, the clansmen who had relied on him as the pillar of their family's spirit immediately became disoriented, showing signs of mental breakdown. Harley, severely injured and devastated by the extreme highs and lows, was utterly dejected. He murmured, "Our ancestor is gone, the Hain family is destroyed, we have nothing left, nothing at all, hahaha..." Seeing the Hain family in such a state of despair, I immediately lost my will to fight. However, they had overheard my conversation with the Sword God. To prevent the news from spreading, I decided to erase their memories and let them live ordinary lives.

After erasing their memories, looking at Alaska and Hubert standing before me, along with the group of purple-gold warriors and the Mage Corps, I knew there were some things I needed to make clear to them, especially after seeing their adoring eyes. It was time for honesty.

I believe everyone has witnessed what happened between me and the Hundred-Sword Master Dorant! That's right, neither he nor I belong to the human realm, but rather to the legendary realm of gods. According to the rules of the divine realm, mortals who know our identities must have their memories erased. However, I trust your loyalty to me, so I do not wish to erase your memories. I hope you can keep this secret for me, understand? I asked the last three words with a commanding tone.

"We know!" everyone answered in unison. Deep down, everyone felt a strange excitement. In their eyes, the young master, surpassing even the gods, truly was a god from heaven. This joy filled them with immense excitement, but remembering my secret identity, they could only bury that joy in their hearts.

After everyone had finished dealing with the scene, I stood quietly on the ruins, gazing at the distant night sky, and murmured: "Have I truly escaped the arrangements of fate? Am I playing with fate, or is fate playing with me? These are all unknowns. The gears of fate continue to turn. What kind of variable will I become in the future?" (

A jumble of chaotic memories flooded his mind. After being organized and compressed, a complete set of memories appeared in his mind. The replay of these memory fragments allowed Dorrant to understand things he hadn't understood before. Being favored by the Sword God wasn't because he was lucky, but because the Sword God knew from the beginning that he was half of his past life. The prosperity of his family and the immortality technique bestowed upon him by the Sword God were all related to his own interests.

After he understood all this, a faint golden light emanated from his body, slowly spreading and growing brighter. Chapter 157 of the Chronicles of Wind and Cloud: The Father-in-Law Summons Me!

The demise of the Hain family caused a huge uproar on the continent. This was another major event following the disappearance of the number one assassin organization—the Assassin's Hall. The resulting impact caused distrust among nations that had maintained a superficial balance, and undercurrents were already surging between them.

While the political landscape was shifting among nations, I, the one who caused the uproar, was holding Sila's hand, engaging in a romantic conversation on campus. Lying on the grass by the lake, I gazed at Sila with tender eyes. When her cheeks flushed and she couldn't help but pout, I withdrew my captivating gaze, waiting for the beauty's response. Unexpectedly, my patient waiting did not yield the expected result. Turning my head, I saw Sila, who had just been pouting, gazing thoughtfully at the sky, a hint of melancholy in her clear eyes. "

What's wrong, my dear wife?" I gently stretched out my arm and pulled Sila's soft body into my embrace, inhaling her fragrance, and asked with a smile. "

My father wants to see you!" Sila said softly. But a hint of worry lingered in her affectionate gaze, making my heart skip a beat. "

What is it?" I thought, "Oh, it's my father-in-law wanting to see me!" I patted her shoulder lightly and replied with a smile.

My smile seemed to instantly make Silas forget her worries. Hearing the teasing tone in my words, a blush rose on her face. She playfully punched my chest with both fists, gently scolding, "Who's your father-in-law? I haven't even said I'd marry you yet!" Waaah… So my wife never intended to marry me! It was all just my wishful thinking! Suppressing my overwhelming joy, I forced out a tear of pain and smiled bitterly.

Seeing my bitter smile, Silas's heart ached, but when she saw the slight smile in my eyes, she knew she had been tricked. Tears welled in her eyes, and she playfully punched my chest, scolding, "You rascal! I was so worried about you! And you lied to me! You deserve a beating!" Hehe...haha, stop hitting me, your husband is very ticklish! I quickly grabbed her pink arms with both hands, took the opportunity to pull her into my arms, and kissed her cherry-like lips fiercely.

Mmm...ahh...At first, Sisi seemed very shy, constantly pushing me away with her hands, but soon she became intoxicated by it, her hands wrapped around my neck, responding to me.

It seemed like a long time passed, until we were both almost out of breath from kissing, before we finally separated. Sisi, with her seductive eyes, saw me looking at her with deep affection, and couldn't help but let out a soft moan, hitting my chest and scolding: It's all your fault, it's all your fault, doing this in public, with everyone watching! Suddenly, a large group of slovenly men and women surrounded us, all drooling and looking at us with envy. Just as we were wondering what was going on, this group of slovenly men and women suddenly exclaimed and rushed towards us, shouting: Idol, we admire you! Seeing the surging crowd, Sisi, who had never seen anything like it before, turned deathly pale. My face also alternated between pale and flushed, thinking that being pressed down by so many people would surely turn me into human jerky. In a flash, just as the crowd was about to rush over, I grabbed Sisi and we fled the scene, the shouts of the horde of infatuated men and women echoing behind us.

After this little incident, Sisi and I finally escaped this ordeal, panting and out of breath, by hiding in a secret place. I calmed myself down, feeling a chill run down my spine. I hadn't expected these admirers to be so enthusiastic; they almost turned me into human jerky.

Just as I was lost in my fantasies, I felt a sharp pain on my forehead. Turning around, I saw Sisi with her hands on her hips, glaring at me angrily. Because of the rush, her full breasts bounced up and down, creating waves of movement that, while surprising me, only fueled my desire to kiss her. "

My dear wife, what's wrong? Who offended you!" I grinned mischievously and reached out my devilish hands, about to grab those twin peaks. "

Get your stinky hands off me! It's all your fault!" Sila was especially adorable when she was angry; her puffed-up cheeks told me she was upset, and her pouting lips looked like tempting cherries waiting to be plucked.

Me?! When did I offend this little devil again? I thought to myself with a wry smile. "

You really are something, running off like that without considering my feelings at all!" Sila complained. "

Oh, that's all!" I asked, surprised.

"Did you expect something else to happen?" Sila raised an eyebrow, her anger blazing.

"Heh, it's good that nothing happened, it's good that nothing happened!" I sighed softly, inwardly lamenting that having too many wives was a problem. Dealing with this one today, that one tomorrow, and the day after… if I accidentally offended them all, I'd be the one getting burned, the one taking the blame, and the one being bullied by all the wives. Sigh, being a man is hard, being a happy man is even harder!

Just as I was still marveling at the situation, I felt a piercing pain in my left ear. Instinctively, I tried desperately to break free, but what happened next made me completely deflate. The culprit who had twisted my ear was none other than my dearest wife, Sisla. "My

dear wife, can you please stop? You guys are always twisting and pulling my ears; they're practically sticking out like wind!" I said with a wry smile. "

Who told you to be so disobedient? I called for so long, and you just ignored me. And look at that drool drool from the corner of your mouth; you're definitely thinking about those other women. Tell me, confess!" Sisla rolled up her sleeves, extending her slender, white hand, ready to begin another round of interrogation. "No, no, no, my dear wife, I absolutely didn't mean it, I absolutely didn't mean it! I promise you!" Poor me, a saint of my generation, am completely under their thumb. How can I possibly have the leisure to be greedy? And this girl is now corrupted by Vivian, Lina, and the other wives. She used to be so obedient and charming to me; thinking back on it now, it was a pleasure. But now, having been subservient to their tyranny for so long, I wonder when I can regain my authority as a husband. Life is truly like this, caught between two sides, suffering from both, like a mouse trapped in a bellows. Poor little mouse!

Good thing you know! Sila, seeing the situation, quickly recovered. She almost knelt down and begged for mercy when she saw me, immediately reverting to her smiling face. But even this made me a little apprehensive, afraid she would use her unpredictable tricks again, and then I'd be in big trouble.

"Honey, did I scare you just now?" The now alluring Silva rubbed her increasingly full breasts against my arm, speaking sweetly.

"N-nothing!" Looking at this ever-changing little devil before me, I couldn't muster any anger; instead, I felt a strange unease. Ugh! Just a moment ago she was so fierce, as if she wanted to devour me whole, and now she's suddenly so gentle and obedient. I'm completely bewildered and don't know what to say.

"Yay, my husband is the best!" Silva cheered, tiptoed, and kissed me on the cheek, leaning against me like a little bird.

Uh… I stood there, stunned. "

Honey, do you remember what I told you by the lake?" Silva leaned her delicate arm against mine, speaking softly. "

Ah, what… ah… oh!" I, who had been nonchalant, suddenly felt my body stiffen, a sharp pain shooting through her arm, making me swallow back the words I was about to say.

You idiot, have you forgotten so quickly?! In an instant, the gentle little woman transformed into a fierce tigress, tightening my previously relaxed nerves once more.

Seeing Sila's menacing yet charming appearance, I knew I had to get through this. Recalling what she had told me by the lake earlier, I tentatively asked, "Is it about meeting your father?" "Hmph, you're smart enough!" Sila retorted, regaining her composure.

"Heh heh, finally got away with it," I couldn't help but breathe a sigh of relief, feeling fortunate. But before I could savor this pleasant moment, Sila's next words shattered my hopes once more. "

Father wants me to accompany you to see him this afternoon!" A loud thud echoed as a humanoid figure collapsed onto the road.

What changes will my meeting with Sila's father bring to the situation on the continent? Stay tuned!

Chapter 158 of the Stormy Era: The Seventh of the Ten Great Masters.

When Sila, contrary to her usual behavior, "escorted" me towards her own home, I could hardly believe this was where Sila lived. Sira's home was nestled deep in a forest on the outskirts of town. Unlike the grand, ornate eaves of wealthy homes, a few sparsely built thatched huts stood in the open space of the woods. A wooden fence made of withered branches served as the shelter for these houses. To the east of the huts, a century-old locust tree stood in the center, its verdant leaves like a canopy, sheltering the entire hut under a cool, verdant shade—truly a pleasant place. Although the thatched huts appeared quite simple, the vibrant energy they exuded made me feel that they were far beyond the reach of any grand palace. To

live and die naturally, to be able to blend into nature—the person who built this thatched hut was no ordinary person. When Sira patiently explained that this was the place where Nongduo, the seventh-ranked swordswoman in the world known as the "Gentle-Hearted Sword," lived in seclusion, which was also her father's residence, my curiosity only grew stronger. It's unbelievable that a martial arts master would live in seclusion here. Moreover, given the power and wealth of the Hain family, giving him some benefits would be extremely easy. Who would have thought such a wealthy family would act so unusually? After all, the Hain family is not an ordinary family. As for what kind of family it is, we'll discuss that later.

"Wife, your father is the seventh-ranked master in the world, why doesn't he directly teach you martial arts and magic? Why does he insist you study at the Qiwan Magic and Martial Arts Academy?" I asked疑惑地.

"My father said that the family martial arts he practices aren't suitable for me, and following him for a long time would easily lead to dependency and blockage of information, which would be detrimental to my future development," Sira pouted, tears welling in her eyes, on the verge of sobbing.

"Sira, your father is right. If you rely on him too much, what will become of you when you grow up? Will you still cling to your parents? Your father is clearly a wise man!" I affectionately pressed her nose, speaking earnestly.

"But I really don't want to leave my father. I can only come back to see him every two months. I... I miss him." Sila threw herself into my arms, her shoulders shaking, and she sobbed softly. "Since my mother passed away, my father has been both my father and mother, raising me with such hardship. He is my parents. I really don't want to leave him, sob sob..."

"Alright, don't cry. We're home now, aren't we?" I gently stroked Sila's soft, long hair and sighed inwardly. I never expected that the seemingly aloof and proud Sila would have such a vulnerable side. I had only ever seen her aloofness, pride, and lively, adorable nature before, but rarely this vulnerable side of her. It seems I had overlooked this other side of her heart. Thinking of this, I sighed softly and silently vowed that I would love her dearly, cherish her, and make up for the pain of losing her mother at such a young age.

As we drew closer, a gentle breeze stirred, and the locust tree in the distance, its canopy like an umbrella, swayed softly in the wind. A few leaves, playfully stirred by the breeze, drifted down, their leaves showing no signs of whitening, perhaps due to their delicate nature. Beneath this large locust tree, through a fence, I heard the soft rustling of a sword. Looking closer, I saw a pale-faced, beardless, seemingly frail middle-aged scholar practicing swordplay in the open space. Some might ask, "Practicing swordplay? What's so special about that?" But to me, this middle-aged man's practice, though seemingly simple, possessed an artistic quality. Each slash and thrust didn't seem like a killing move, but rather like the soothing touch of a lover's hands. The sword's wind carried a hidden tenderness, devoid of any murderous intent, yet like a gentle spring breeze caressing the heart.

"Whoosh whoosh whoosh!" This was the sound of a sword dancing. Nongduo moved with the sword, his body slightly bent, his right foot pointing outwards, and as the sword moved, his body began to spin. "Swoosh swoosh swoosh!" This was the sound of sword energy cutting through the air. Wisps of sword energy burst forth from the sword in Nongduo's hand, and with the sword's dance, the energy swept away locust leaves. The sparse leaves fell like rain, drifting towards where Nongduo was dancing. However, although the leaves fell like rain, within half a foot of Nongduo, it seemed as if there was an invisible barrier preventing them from falling. Instead, the sword in Nongduo's hand seemed to be drawing Tai Chi, pulling and guiding, under an invisible attraction, gathering the falling leaves into a ball. Then, with a soft shout, the ball of leaves whistled out under the sword's strike, flying towards a pile of firewood to the west of the thatched hut. As it flew away from the firewood, the leaf-shaped ball seemed to lose its cohesion and fell back onto the pile, instantly covering the entire pile.

Inhaling and drawing in his stomach, Nongduo pressed down with his left hand, holding his sword behind his back with his right, and calmly said towards where we stood, "Who has come to visit? Please come out for a chat!"

A master is a master indeed; he knew without batting an eye that someone was spying on his sword practice not far away, but he wasn't in a hurry to expose them. Instead, he waited until he finished his sword dance to invite the person out, because there wasn't a trace of murderous intent in that peeping gaze.

"Good, good, good!" I said three "good"s in a row, clapping my hands, and led Silas into her house.

When Nongduo saw a young man and his daughter Silas appear before him, his previously calm gaze also revealed a hint of joy. My daughter, Silas, released my hand and rushed towards Nongduo. After falling into his arms, Silas cried out tearfully, "Father, I missed you so much!"

Looking at Silas, who had become even more beautiful after several months apart, Nongduo's face was filled with fatherly love. He gently stroked her hair and teased, "My dear daughter, you've become even more beautiful after several months. Is it the nourishment of love from your sweetheart?!"

"Father, the first person I wanted to see after returning was you, and now you're teasing me!" Silas protested, her slightly swollen eyes filled with a hint of shyness.

"Alright, alright, I won't make things difficult for my dear daughter. Introduce your sweetheart to me!" Nongduo said affectionately, looking at Silas's pretty face.

"Father!" Silas cried out stubbornly. However, she still turned her gaze to me, giving me a disapproving look. I had no choice but to step forward, my scalp tingling.

"Uncle, it's a pleasure to meet you!" I said, clasping my hands in a fist and bowing to him.

"You're Xie Yun?!" Nong Duo's eyes flashed with divine light, his sharp gaze sweeping over me.

"Uncle, it is indeed me!" Facing Nong Duo's fierce gaze, I wasn't going to back down, meeting his gaze directly. Our eyes met in mid-air, a "sizzling" sound echoing in the air, as if we were both testing each other. Almost simultaneously, we withdrew our gazes, simply gazing at each other silently.

"You're very strong!" Nong Duo said succinctly.

"You are too!" Although he was far inferior to me, he could indeed be considered a master among the human realm's experts. However, I could only think these things in my mind. After all, he was my wife's father, my father-in-law, and saying such things would be beneath his dignity.

"May I have a match with you?" Nong Duo inquired. However, I saw the excited light shining in his eyes, clearly indicating that he was eager to fight. It seemed that when masters met, a battle was inevitable, as they strived to advance further.

"I'm happy to oblige!" I replied respectfully.

"Yun, Father, what's going on here?" Sira, watching from the side, looked at me, then at Nongduo, and couldn't help but ask in surprise.

"Sira, you watch from the side. I want to spar with Uncle." These past few days, the thought of battle has been driving me crazy. Am I a warmonger? Or has that battle changed my nature?

"Father..." Sira turned to look at Nongduo, seeing him staring at me with a serious expression. She knew the two were truly locked in combat, and there was no point in trying to dissuade her now. So she stepped aside, ready to watch the match between my father and me.

The match officially began. Who would prevail was anyone's guess, but all of this will be revealed in the next chapter!!

Chapter 159 of the Wind and Cloud Saga: The Power of the Seventh Master

"Can we begin?" Nongduo, seemingly out of nowhere, held a Soft Heart Sword and asked calmly.

The Tender Heart Sword, Nongdo's signature weapon, is over three feet long and two inches wide. Its silvery-white blade gleams with a faint, cold light, and carved with a blooming tender heart grass. This grass wasn't for decoration, but as a tribute to Silas's deceased mother. Nongdo loved his wife deeply; her death even caused him to be devastated for a time, leading him to miss his duel with the third-ranked warrior in the land. However, he didn't regret it. What could a battle for fame and fortune compare to the loss of his beloved?

To commemorate her, he chose to carve the tender heart grass on the sword. Silas's mother was a gentle, beautiful daughter, full of maternal tenderness, and the tender heart grass was a true reflection of her.

Having said all that, let's return to the main point. When Nongdo asked if I was ready, a flash of light appeared in my hand, and a very ordinary iron sword appeared, signifying my readiness. I didn't want to fight him empty-handed, because that would be dishonorable and disrespectful. Doing so would cost me my happiness for the rest of my life. Sira loved her father so much; if I defeated him bare-handed, it would create a rift in our future relationship.

"Boy, take this! Behold the 'Gentle Strike' of my 'Gentle Heart Sword Technique'!" Nongduo's 'Gentle Heart Sword' flashed in the air before being extended straight towards me, seemingly unremarkable. Such a simple move shouldn't be in the hands of the seventh-ranked swordsman, but true masters didn't see it that way. If a master were present, they would surely notice that while this sword move appeared ordinary, it evoked a strange feeling. They would feel as if the incoming sword was a lover's delicate hand reaching out to them. Would you feel this way if your lover's hand were thrust at you? Countless masters had fallen to Nongduo precisely because of this seemingly unremarkable move, leading to their utter ruin. Unfortunately, while Nongduo's "Gentle Strike" was highly effective against others, it was utterly ineffective against me.

"Well done, Uncle! Take my move too, Spiritual Sword!" My iron sword slowly twirled, displaying a few sword flowers, and like Nongduo, I extended it outwards to meet the Gentle Strike.

To Sisi, my Spiritual Sword seemed slow; her father's Gentle Strike was almost upon me. However, strangely, her father seemed to be under immense pressure, delaying his attack. In truth, Nongduo had his own unspoken difficulties. Although my Spiritual Sword was slow, it appeared different to him. No matter which way his Gentle Strike went, the iron sword seemed to be sentient, always blocking his path like a fly, just barely touching the tip.

Seeing that his tender strike was about to miss, Nongduo made a desperate move, his wrist flicking rapidly, and the Soft Heart Sword suddenly increased in speed, thrusting towards my face. The move was indeed powerful, but my iron sword, undeterred, moved with even greater speed, blocking the Soft Heart Sword with a "whoosh," its tip meeting the sword's tip.

There were no sparks as expected from the clash of swords; instead, we both jerked back, the tender strike vanishing into thin air.

Nongduo and I exchanged a glance and laughed, "First round, a draw, hahaha..."

"Nephew, I won't hold back in the second round, so be careful!" Nongduo, while marveling at my strength, couldn't help but warn me.

"Don't worry, Uncle, I can handle it!" Suppressing my excitement, I sincerely accepted his warning.

"Well, since that's the case, prepare for my second strike, Tender Affection!" The sword in Nongduo's hand trembled rapidly, and in a flash, a layer of light enveloped me. This light might seem ordinary to outsiders, but for me, it was an extraordinary experience. In a daze, I felt as if I had returned to a dreamlike kingdom, where I was the ruler, ruling this beautiful land. Lilia, Vivian, Silas, Doris, Kana… all these beauties were the women I respected and loved most. Every day, I spent time with them, tending flowers, watering them, talking about love, occasionally ambushing them. Life was incredibly peaceful. Here, there were no barriers between them; their jealousy vanished without a trace. This was far better than my current state of constantly hiding and being scolded. I wished it could stay like this forever.

Wait… reality?! Illusion?! What was wrong with me? How did I get trapped in such an illusion? Did I really want things to be this way? Perhaps it's true; what man doesn't want his women to live in harmony? But the beauties in reality wouldn't allow it. They're all consumed by jealousy. On the surface, everything seems peaceful, but the drawbacks will gradually surface over time, and things won't be as I imagined. Thinking of this, I broke out in a cold sweat. What kind of sword technique is this? It directly reflects my innermost thoughts. If someone's mind isn't strong enough, they might be trapped in this dream forever, never to awaken. What a terrifying technique!

This won't do. Although I don't know exactly how much of my inner thoughts this illusion can simulate, if it continues, I can't guarantee that the illusion won't change again and plunge me into eternal damnation. Thinking this, I knew what to do. I closed my eyes tightly, sank my mind into the sea of consciousness, and expanded my senses. I thought that no matter how the illusion changed, it couldn't disturb me anymore.

Sure enough, when Nongduo saw that I had closed my eyes within that layer of light, he knew that the second move of the Tender Heart Sword Technique had been broken. The mind of the one struck by it is as still as a deep well, undisturbed; any illusion will lose its effect. Since attacking it is ineffective, such futile efforts will only harm oneself and be pointless; it's better to withdraw.

Thinking this, Nongduo slowly stopped wielding the Tender Heart Sword, then exhaled a breath of stale air, straightened his chest, and sheathed the sword behind his back.

"Truly worthy of being a legendary Saint, handling things as usual even without relying on your signature technique!" Nongduo said with a faint smile after sheathing the sword.

"Uncle, you flatter me. I only escaped this calamity by sheer luck!" I opened my eyes, facing Nongduo's smiling face.

"Hehe, I have a thorough understanding of my own skills. To say it's just luck is probably not true!" Nongduo chuckled.

"It seems nothing can escape your discerning eyes, Uncle!" Since Nongduo had already pointed it out, it would seem insincere for me to continue being modest.

"Hehe, compared to my nephew's grand schemes, I am truly humbled. Helping the Fire Lion Empire quell its internal strife, assisting the Fire Dance Duchy in defeating the Hawk Empire, one of the four great empires, casually challenging the Assassin's Hall, and annihilating the Hain family—every action of yours has caused a bloodbath across the continent. Truly a grand scheme!" Nongduo recounted my deeds one by one, staring into my eyes as he spoke.

"It seems Uncle's information network is quite extensive. To know about events thousands of miles away from here in such a remote place is truly remarkable!" While I was secretly amazed by his extensive information, I also spoke with a hint of sarcasm, sneering.

"It's really nothing special. After all, what my nephew has done is renowned throughout the continent. It's hard not to know!" Nongduo squinted his eyes and smiled.

"Uncle, you flatter me!" I replied humbly. Actually, after he recounted my actions, I had to admire his excellent intelligence; it seemed his reputation as the seventh best in the world was well-deserved. Unfortunately, I was still secretly alarmed by the source of his information. I was confident that my actions in taking over the Assassin's Guild and annihilating the Hain family were flawless, but after his explanation, I realized we hadn't gone far enough.

"Nephew, don't you want to ask me where you got your information?" Nongduo suddenly blurted out, startling me.

"If Uncle wishes to tell me, he will naturally tell me everything!" I replied calmly, regaining my composure.

"Good, good, good! Truly a general's demeanor!" Nongduo clapped his hands and laughed heartily.

"Father, what makes you so happy!" Earlier, when Sila saw us talking with our swords sheathed, she was delighted, thinking that her father must have been tired after a long day and deserved something to eat and drink. So she brought out some tea and snacks, which led to her earlier conversation.

"Uh... nothing, just some casual thoughts with my nephew!" Nongduo replied with a laugh.

"Liar!" Sila didn't believe her father would be like this. Perhaps it had something to do with him. Thinking this, she glanced at my handsome face, blushed, and gently scolded me.

In Chapter 160 of "The Storm Riders,"

after drinking some tea and eating a few pastries, while Sisi was tidying up, I couldn't help but ask Nongduo, who was watching his daughter with a contented expression, "Uncle, what are your thoughts on the current situation on the continent?"

Nongduo sat in his square chair, glanced at me lightly, and said calmly, "Wars are breaking out, warlords are fighting, like the snipe and the clam fighting, while the fisherman benefits."

"Oh, what do you mean by that?" Hearing Nongduo's sixteen-character mantra, I was puzzled and couldn't help but ask curiously.

"On the surface, the situation on the continent appears peaceful, but beneath the surface, undercurrents are surging.

To avoid being caught in the crossfire of war, many smaller nations have signed alliances with the major empires, such as the Fire Lion Empire, the Fire Dance Duchy, the Hawk Empire, and the Fierce Tiger Dynasty. They are allied with these powerful nations, serving as vassal states to secure some benefits in the event of war. Meanwhile, some nations that do not wish to align themselves with any powerful nation but believe they can escape the war have concentrated their forces on their borders, preparing to defend against future attacks," Nongduo explained to me with a frown.

"It seems Uncle has a deep understanding of the situation on the continent. However, the Hawk Empire has just suffered a defeat, and it's puzzling why so many smaller nations are allied with it." The Hawk Empire had just been defeated, and by my own hand, so I know its troop distribution very well. It's hard to believe that so many smaller nations are still allied with it.

“As the saying goes, ‘Even a starved camel is bigger than a horse.’ Although the Hawk Empire’s national strength is declining and its treasury is empty, as an old empire, it still has some trump cards up its sleeve. Moreover, since Hawk III truly came to power, deeply concerned about the safety of the people, he has also enacted many regulations beneficial to the people, which has truly raised the empire’s overall national strength to a new level. In addition, with the ‘Goddess of a Hundred Battles’ Alice in charge, it is still difficult for other countries to invade it. It is precisely because of this that the smaller countries have formed an alliance with the Hawk Empire,” Nongduo explained to me. Before I could fully digest what he said, he told me another shocking piece of news.

“The Hawk Empire now has a new ally. I believe you should know this, my nephew!” Nongduo stared into my eyes, constantly watching my expression, and said.

"Oh, having a new ally is great. It seems the Hawk Empire still has considerable allure!"

I wasn't particularly surprised to hear that Hawk had gained another ally. After all, in this chaotic era, small countries risked annihilation if they didn't seek refuge with larger powers.

"But this ally is no ordinary one, my dear nephew. Shall I tell you?" Nongduo leaned forward, a smile playing on his lips.

"Oh, is this ally so mysterious? Tell me about it!" I asked, feigning eagerness to hear.

"Are you really going to hear it? Are you sure? Don't be surprised when I tell you, I'm really going to tell you!" When did Nongduo become so talkative? It was starting to scare me.

"Go ahead, my little heart can take a hit!" I said self-deprecatingly.

"The Fire Dance Duchy, you must know about it, right? Both princesses of the duchy are your wives, didn't they tell you?" A sly smile flashed in Nongduo's eyes as he finally dropped this bombshell.

"Huh?!" Upon hearing this shocking news, I couldn't help but shudder. When did the Fire Dance Duchy and the Hawk Empire form an alliance? I've never heard of it. How could two countries that have always been sworn enemies possibly make peace? There must be something fishy going on. Yes, there must be something fishy going on. My mind was filled with questions that almost made my doubts show on my face.

Nongduo, a shrewd and calculating man, noticed the flicker of doubt in my eyes and knew his time was ripe. He immediately explained, "The alliance between our two countries is a matter of necessity. One has just risen to power, the other has recently suffered defeat. Although the Fire Dance Duchy is currently riding high, it's all just a facade. Without the protection of a certain person, the Fire Dance Duchy is like a pile of loose sand, easily defeated by an invading enemy. As for the Hawk Empire, out of gratitude to that person and a deep sense of its insufficient military strength and the threat to its borders, establishing an equal alliance with the Fire Dance Duchy is the best course of action, and there's no way to refuse. Moreover, the fact that our two countries can coexist peacefully is truly closely related to that person!" Nongduo's eyes shone with a divine light, as if he could see right through me. His meaningful gaze made me feel as if he held all my secrets in his hands.

"Uh... Uncle, after all that, you've only explained the first eight characters. What about the next eight? And who is the 'fisherman'?" To avoid Nongduo's probing gaze, I quickly changed the subject. Hearing

this, Nongduo seemed no longer interested in "a certain person," but his next words sent a shiver down my spine, and I secretly admired his shrewdness. A faint smile played on his lips as he calmly replied, "That fisherman is you."

"Me?! How could it be me? Uncle, you must be joking." Suppressing my inner turmoil, I chuckled awkwardly.

"I'm usually quite good at judging people, and this 'fisherman' is definitely you. You possess an innate aura of dominance, but you've hidden it well, preventing certain individuals from noticing. However, your undeniable charisma destined you for greatness. Helping the Fire Lion Empire quell internal strife, assisting the Fire Dance Duchy in defeating the Hawk Empire, and bravely venturing into the Dragon's Lair to rescue Hawk III… these major events are enough to make you famous. Your reputation as the 'Dragon God General' has spread throughout the entire continent. Moreover, some things don't need me to spell them out. The overnight annihilation of the Assassin's Hall and the overthrow of the Hain family can only mean that there is a powerful force behind you, a powerful force that terrifies all nations. Nephew, do you agree with me?" Nongduo asked with absolute certainty.

"It seems Uncle has investigated me very thoroughly. You've uncovered so many hidden secrets," I said with a wry smile.

“Everyone has a strong sense of curiosity. Someone like you, rising to prominence in such a short time and becoming famous throughout the continent, must have had countless intelligence organizations thoroughly investigating your background! I was just lucky enough to know a little more than them,” Nongduo said with a smile. But the underlying meaning made me wary. It seems that being too arrogant isn't necessarily a good thing. Before Nongduo spoke, I had no idea so many intelligence organizations were paying attention to me. But how could Nongduo know so much? Could it be…?

A thought suddenly struck me, and I asked Nongduo, “Uncle, I have something to discuss with you first, is that alright?”

“Please speak!” Nongduo's spirits lifted, and he quickly replied.

“I want to invite you to join me in a grand scheme. You and your Tianxianglou organization would like to join my hegemonic organization, what do you say?” I inquired. But the implications were left for Nongduo to fathom.

“Looks like I couldn’t hide it from you, my dear nephew. I just didn’t expect it to happen so quickly. My unintentional action just now revealed my identity to you. I’ve outsmarted myself!” Nongduo said with a wry smile.

“Hehe, Uncle, you flatter me. Perhaps it’s all fate. What do you think about joining our organization?”

I asked him.

“What can I say? Not only did you discover my identity, but you also have me completely under your thumb. I only have one daughter, who else can I help but her?” Nongduo responded with a wry smile, looking helpless.

“Thank you for your great help, Uncle. It’ll be a pleasure to cooperate!” I extended my left hand and said with a smile.

“Young man, are you still calling me Uncle?!” Nongduo said with a serious face.

“Uh… yes, Father-in-law!” I smiled awkwardly and said respectfully.

“Hehe, that’s right. It’ll be a pleasure to cooperate!” Nongduo’s large hand shook mine tightly. This moment witnessed history. From then on, the continent’s number one intelligence organization—Tianxianglou—officially merged into my organization, and my path to domination had just begun.

The winds of change are blowing across the continent, and the outcome is uncertain. What difficulties will I encounter on my path to supremacy? Please read on.

Chapter 161: Alice's Arrival (Part 1)

"Honey, what did you talk to Father about? You were so secretive!" On the way back, Sila asked me coquettishly, her face flushed.

"Hehe, it's nothing much, just discussing how to sell you to me, hahaha..."

Seeing Sila's charming expression, I couldn't help but tap her forehead with my finger and said affectionately.

"Liar!" Sila grabbed my arm, rubbing her ample breasts against it, protesting.

"Do I look like I'm lying?" Suddenly, I freed my arm from Sila's grasp and turned back to smile at her.

"Hmph, you still say you're not lying? No, I want you to tell me!" Sila stomped her foot lightly, using her mature woman's charm to try and get some information out of me.

"Hehe, wait until you catch me!" I chuckled and took off running.

"You...you broke your promise, stop running!" Sila, furious, also started running after me, but unfortunately, a woman's stamina is ultimately insufficient. After a while, she was not only panting but also far behind me.

Seeing Sila half-crouched on the ground, covered in sweat and panting, I couldn't help but feel a pang of pity. I ran back and asked with concern, "Hmm, what's wrong, my dearest wife?"

But after I asked that, Sila didn't seem to pay any attention to me, which made me feel uneasy. So I stopped and squatted down beside her, asking with concern, "What's wrong, uh..."

Before I could finish my question, a mischievous glint flashed in Silas's eyes, and before I could react, she pounced on my broad back, excitedly shouting, "I've been tricked! I've been tricked! Honey, you've been tricked! Now you should tell me the truth!"

"Sigh, I can't stand you! You actually tricked me over something!" I said with a wry smile and helplessness.

"So what? So what? Hehe, I just love tricking you, so what?!" Silas's domineering manner left me speechless, unsure whether to speak or not.

"..." I could only slap her shapely bottom to express my displeasure.

...

We were laughing and chatting all the way to the academy gate when we saw a shocking scene. Groups of young men and women were crowding around the academy gate, and a luxurious carriage had become the focus of their attention. Eight magnificent horses snorted at the gate, their golden saddles proclaiming their illustrious status. The luxurious carriage, adorned with dragons and phoenixes and crafted entirely from gold, was the epitome of opulence, clearly indicating the extraordinary background of its occupants.

Watching the fervent adulation of the group of young men and women, I couldn't resist stopping one of them and asking, "Excuse me, who's sitting in that carriage? Why are they so popular?"

Seeing my academy uniform, the boy gave me a questioning look, then replied with a mixture of pride and fervor, "You're incredibly ignorant! You don't even know who's in that carriage!" The sarcasm in his words nearly made Sisi raise her fist to punch him.

"I'd like to hear more!" I said sincerely, unfazed by his sarcasm.

"Hmm, that's more like it!" The boy, smug and self-satisfied, made me want to punch him too, but I held back to find out more.

When the man saw it was me, he immediately said with a disdainful look, "Pretty boy, good-for-nothing! I think all you can do is argue. You'll always be a pretty boy hiding behind women. Such a beautiful girl clinging to you is like a flower stuck in cow dung!"

"Have you said enough?" I said coldly.

"I haven't said enough, you..." Suddenly, he felt a sharp pain in his chest, and his body was thrown backward. As he flew away, a cold laugh reached his ears: "Remember, I hate it when people call me a pretty boy, and my name is Xie Yun!"

The man lay on the ground, dazed, recalling what I had just said, and was instantly filled with terror. Xie Yun, who was he? The universally acknowledged dark godfather of the entire Qi Wan Magic and Martial Arts Academy, his martial prowess was so great that even the principal was said to disregard him, and he monopolized all ten of the campus's beauties, leaving everyone else only to fantasize. Today, he had actually offended such a figure, and even arrogantly flaunted himself in front of his woman. Whether he could still stay in this academy was now uncertain.

Putting aside what kind of person he was, just hearing him mention the "Hundred Battles Goddess" made me know who he was. To avoid further embarrassment, I decided to take Silk and leave first.

"Honey, what are you doing? It's such a grand occasion, it's such a waste not to see it!" Silva couldn't help but complain as I pulled her inside.

"Do you know who's in that carriage?" I asked, frowning.

"Of course I know! Isn't it 'Battle Goddess' Alice? What's wrong?" Silva asked, noticing my frown.

"Uh...no...nothing," I hurriedly replied.

"That's good. Oh, Alice's out!" Silva said, her gaze shifting to her idol. I only just realized this girl actually had a passion for idolizing celebrities; I'd never seen it before.

Just then, I heard a cheer from the students watching. The carriage door opened, and an extremely beautiful woman stepped out—it was Alice. Alice had shed her military uniform and was now dressed in gorgeous women's clothing, her flowing hair and exquisite figure exuding a strong feminine charm. Especially with that fiery red pleated skirt, it added a touch of passion to her femininity.

Alice initially struggled to accept the students' enthusiasm, but as a marshal-level figure leading millions, she quickly adapted, interacting naturally with them and soon becoming one of them. Her fresh beauty and amiable demeanor deeply resonated with everyone, drawing many young men and women closer to her. When someone asked why she had come, she smiled and replied that she had come for someone, but when asked who that person was, Alice smiled but didn't answer, clearly not wanting to reveal the truth.

Standing not far away, watching, my thoughts were in turmoil, as if I were transported back to the days of battle. I remembered the first time she scalded my feet with boiling water, I remembered the warm moments we shared. Thinking of this, a smile involuntarily crept onto my lips.

"Honey, what's so funny?" Silas asked curiously, noticing the smile on my face.

"Oh...uh...it's nothing, honey, let's go!" I gave Alice a deep look, grabbed Sisi's hand, and prepared to leave.

Just then, Alice, busy dealing with the situation, glanced at a familiar figure and suddenly saw one. She was startled at first, then overjoyed, and finally couldn't help but shout excitedly, "Xie Yun!" The shout of "Xie Yun" caused an uproar around us, and the person Alice had anticipated trembled slightly. Alice, however, was overjoyed, for she had finally found him. She was now beyond her control, pushing through the crowd towards me.

"Honey, I think someone was calling you just now!" Sisi looked up and said to me.

"Oh, really? I don't think so. Let's go!" I just wanted to get away from this troublesome place as quickly as possible; I didn't dare say anything else.

But my hope was quickly dashed, because Alice's shout came from behind again: "Xie Yun?!"

"Oh, good heavens!" I couldn't help but groan, slapping my forehead.

"Honey, I really hear someone calling you now," Silas voiced her doubts.

"I know," I replied calmly, "It seems I can't escape this trouble."

Hearing Alice's approaching footsteps, I could only turn around helplessly, forcing a smile, and said, "Oh, so that's who called me just now. It's Princess Alice!"

"Xie Yun, what do you mean? I called you and you didn't answer!" Alice immediately launched into a tirade against me as soon as she reached me.

Unfortunately, I didn't have time to explain anything to her, because Alice's fans were catching up.

I didn't care about anything shocking now; I grabbed the two women's hands and used teleportation to leave. A flash of white light, and by the time everyone arrived, we had vanished without a trace.
