[Fantasy] Gods and Demons Among Flowers (Complete) - 27

Chapter 148 of the Wind and Cloud Chronicles: Half a God's Consciousness?! "

Brother, it seems we've summoned an unknown monster!" Elder Feng said with a wry smile. "

Fifth Brother, don't blame yourself. Although we don't know what kind of monster it is, we can't worry about that now in order to defeat the enemy before us

!" Elder Tu thought that since this monster was summoned by them using their life essence pearl, commanding it shouldn't be a big problem.

In fact, Elder Tu was wrong. From the beginning, the earth giant was not under their control because it had its own consciousness. It was just that it was well hidden, and no one had discovered this. "

Brother, take this opportunity and command this fire-haired, golden-armed, water-eyed green giant to attack Hubert!" Elder Huo said excitedly from the side.

"Hmm, not bad!" Elder Tu nodded slightly, made a strange gesture with his left hand, and shouted at the earth giant: "Go, fire-haired, golden-armed green giant, defeat the enemy standing in front of you!" But the earth giant seemed not to hear his command and remained standing there motionless. Elder Tu, thinking his method was flawed, changed his hand gestures again, but the earth giant still didn't react. He kept changing the gestures, but none of them could control the earth giant. "

Brother, what's going on? I've lost contact with my natal pearl!" Elder Shui said, his face deathly pale. "

Brother, me too!" Elder Feng said anxiously.

...

The five elders were all pale, breaking out in a cold sweat, and collapsed to the ground. They hadn't expected that by exhausting their lifespans to try and defeat their opponent, they would backfire, losing their lives and summoning an unknown monster. Elder Tu

seemed unwilling to give up, racking his brains to find a way to control the earth giant, but what happened next made their faces turn deathly pale, their eyes wide open. "

Hey old man, are you out of your mind? Keep changing your gestures in front of me, it's making my eyes blurry!" The earth giant, who had been standing motionless, spoke. Its lazy voice, like a thunderclap, struck the five elders, leaving them stunned. "

You…you can speak?!" Elder Tu, pointing at the earth giant before him, exclaimed in surprise, locating the source of the voice.

"Nonsense, did I say I couldn't speak?" The earth giant raised an eyebrow, sneering.

"…What exactly are you?" Elder Tu finally voiced his question. "

A thing? I'm not a thing. Let me tell you, I am half of the consciousness of the god Amok, not some nameless thing as you call me!" Asodo (the earth giant) chuckled.

"The god Amok?!" The others exchanged glances and shook their heads. "

The god Amok is what you mortals call the Five Elements Gods, and I am just half of the divine consciousness left behind when the god Amok descended to earth!" Asodo said proudly.

"Ah?!" Everyone was astonished, never expecting that the earth giant before them would have such an origin—a mere half-consciousness of the Five Elements God.

"Heh, you didn't expect to summon me when you summoned the fire-haired, golden-armed, water-eyed green giant, did you? Actually, I made a mistake years ago, and the main god sealed me inside the Five Elements Pearl in my chest." Asado pointed to his chest and continued, "Later, this Five Elements Pearl was divided into five attribute stones, keeping my mind in a dormant state. Before I was separated, I made a promise: whoever could release me from the Five Elements Pearl, I would grant them one wish. Now that you have awakened me from my slumber, I can grant any one of your wishes." "Ah?!" Everything happened so suddenly. The five elders, who had thought they were doomed, widened their eyes at the prospect of good news. No one noticed the wicked smile that flickered across Asado's lips. The fact that the five elders didn't see this fleeting expression didn't mean no one noticed it; for example, the observant Hubert noticed it.

"Don't believe him! There's no

such thing as a free lunch!" Hubert shouted urgently to the five elders.

However, their misunderstanding led them to believe he was trying to stop them from retaliating. The leading elder, Earth Elder, sneered, "Hubert, I know you want to kill us, but we're not stupid. Don't try to fool us with words. What do you want me to say to make you believe me? If I wanted you dead, that 'Soaring Qi' move would have been enough!" Hubert said urgently.

The elders fell silent. Indeed, those watching from the outside might not know the full story, but those who had experienced it firsthand knew how terrifying that move was. It attacked indiscriminately across a region, and each time the blue beam was about to strike them, it seemed as if some force controlled them, barely saving their lives. In fact, the five elders all knew that Hubert had genuinely spared them. "

What are you still considering? State your wishes, and I will grant them!" "Don't you want to possess unparalleled power, countless riches, and beautiful women? Don't you want to defeat the enemy before you and restore the Hain family to its former glory?"...Azdor's voice carried a hint of seduction as he whispered.

Seeing the five elders swayed and clearly leaning towards his side, Aszdor's smile deepened.

"Don't believe him! There's no such thing as a free lunch!" Hubert couldn't help but shout urgently as he saw the five elders fall for Aszdor's allure. He sensed an unfathomable and sinister aura emanating from Aszdor, a feeling that weighed heavily on his heart.

However, it was too late. The five elders' eyes glazed over, and they said simultaneously, "I hope you can help us defeat the enemy before us and restore the glory of our Hain family!" Hearing the five elders voice their wishes, Asodo's smile deepened. Suddenly, his voice turned sinister as he roared, "Don't worry, when you reach the Yellow Springs, I will annihilate everyone who hinders my plans! Hahaha..." From the moment the five elders uttered their wishes, a black aura began to spread within Asodo's chest. Soon, the black aura expanded to his skin, enveloping him in a thick, dark mist. A moment later, when the mist dissipated, everyone noticed that the once fiery red hair atop Asodo's burning head was now mixed with black energy, and his pupils, devoid of whites, were veiled in a black mist, within which seemed to contain two flowing wisps of black energy. At this moment, the wooden vine armor enveloping him also changed from a vibrant green to a ghastly green, giving off a desolate atmosphere.

Asodo's astonishing transformation jolted the five elders out of their daze. When they saw the drastically changed Asodo before them, their eyes flashed. "

Finally, we're completely free from that damned devil's control! Now it's my turn to repay you!" Asodo shook his arms, stretched his legs, and chuckled maliciously.

Seeing Asodo's terrifying face, the five elders involuntarily took a few inches back, crying out in panic, "You...what are you doing? We've already expressed our wishes! Why aren't you going to defeat him?!" "Heh heh, just as that person said, there's no such thing as a free lunch. The reason I asked you to make wishes was to get you to release me from this bondage. Now that you're no longer of any use, you can go in peace." Asodo looked at the five panicked men and sneered. "

No...it's impossible! You...you're lying to us!" With a surge of power from who knows where, Elder Tu roared at Asodo with all his might.

"Oh dear, you little things are quite troublesome!" The next moment, the five elders were horrified to find that their bodies could not move. The giant hand of Asado, whom they regarded as a demon, was now above their heads, and a powerful suction force was pulling their souls in. Under their unwilling gazes, they turned into a ball of energy and were sucked into Asado's body.

After absorbing the souls of the five elders, the five already dead bodies collapsed to the ground. Asado, still savoring the taste, licked his lips and murmured, "Mmm, this taste is wonderful. If I absorb a few more like these, it won't be long before I recover to half my peak strength. Then, who in this world will be my match!" Hubert, watching the five elders transform from vibrant lives into lifeless corpses, felt a pang of anxiety. He gripped his sword and calmly asked, "You…who are you?" "Heh heh, good question. I…I am Asado, the twin brother of the Five Elements God Amoco, also known as the Dark God of Destruction!" Asado's words carried a hint of resentment as he mocked himself.

What will happen next, and what will the ending be? Please continue to follow the next chapter, "The Dark God of Destruction, Asado."

Chapter 149 of the Storm Riders: The Dark God Asado "

Heh heh, that's a good question. I... I am Asado, the twin brother of Amoco, the God of the Five Elements. I am known as the Dark God!" Asado's words carried a hint of resentment as he mocked himself. "

What?" Hubert's expression changed drastically, and he exclaimed in shock. He had read in a book called "The Diary of Gods and Demons" that in the distant past, the five elements were abundant on this continent, and Amoco and his twin brother Asado were in charge of them. However, for some reason, his brother had become a demon, and after a great battle, Amoco painfully sealed his brother away. After that great battle, the five elements on this continent rapidly decreased, resulting in the current situation. Now, with Asado now a demon, who knows what kind of disaster he will bring to their continent? Thinking of this, Hubert's face showed worry.

Asdor looked at Hubert, whose expression kept changing, with amusement, and asked with interest, "Looks like you little thing still recognize this old man!" Hubert wasn't offended by Asdor calling him "little thing," because he knew what kind of person Asdor was. He frowned and said with a wry smile, "I never thought I, Hubert, would live to see the Dark God of Destruction break free from his seal in my lifetime! Truly a cause for celebration!" As soon as he finished speaking, Hubert transformed into a whirlwind and thrust towards Asdor's chest.

With a clang, a huge metal arm blocked Hubert's attack. Sparks flew as his sword struck the metal arm, and the powerful recoil forced Hubert back several steps.

Asdor watched Hubert parry with amusement. Knowing he couldn't defeat him, yet continuing to attack, his spirit was admirable. "

Little thing, don't you know the power of the Dark God?" Asado felt a slight fondness for Hubert and asked amiably. If it were tens of thousands of years ago, anyone who dared to ambush him would surely die. Still relying on your hands? How can that be enjoyable? [Forum reputation guaranteed! No one knows your strength better than me. That's why I want to take advantage of your unrecovered power and do my best to eliminate you! Facing the imposing Asado, Hubert replied defiantly.

Oh, really? Asado was growing increasingly fond of Hubert; to be able to claim his power hadn't recovered in such a short time—when did such a talent appear in the human world? However, Asado didn't get angry at the hint of threat in Hubert's words; instead, he laughed. With a surge of imposing aura, he declared with boundless confidence, "Little brat, if you think you can defeat me with just your skills, it's impossible. I can easily crush you with a single finger!" Asado's sudden surge of power caused the air around Hubert to freeze. The immense pressure made him afraid to even breathe. Fortunately, Asado's aura was fleeting; otherwise, whether he could have withstood it to the end was uncertain. Hubert then truly understood the difference between gods and humans. A mere aura was enough to kill—a rare sight in the human realm, only discovered by chance that his young master possessed such power. "Could it be that my young master is a god?" This question suddenly popped into Hubert's mind, though he leaned more towards the idea that his young master was a being beyond human comprehension.

Hubert shook his head, banishing these wild thoughts, and calmly said, "Regardless, even if I can't defeat you, I will do my utmost to stop you from wreaking havoc on the world!" "Well said, Brother Hubert! Your words have deeply moved me. Let's fight side by side and face this ancient Diablo!" Alaska appeared to Hubert's left, patting him on the shoulder and speaking with great enthusiasm.

It turned out that Alaska was also shocked after hearing Asado's self-introduction. God—what a sacred word! But he dared not flatter this god before him. Yet, the power of a god was not something Hubert alone could withstand. Even a weakened god was not to be underestimated. "Since Hubert joined my ranks, Alaska has not only treated him as his best friend and brother, but also as a comrade-in-arms. Now that a comrade is in trouble, how could he not help?!" "

Thank you, Brother Alaska!" Hubert said gratefully. "

We're brothers, there's no need for gratitude! Besides, saving humanity isn't just your business, it's everyone's business. How could I stand idly by?" Alaska said with a faint smile.

"Heh, what touching brotherhood! What heroic words! But let's talk about that after you defeat me!" Asado, who had been observing from the sidelines, clapped his hands and sneered. "

Don't worry, Asado, even if we risk our lives, we won't let your scheme succeed!" Alaska took out the divine sword I had given him, speaking with a look of formidable threat. As

soon as Alaska drew his sword, a flash of cold light appeared. Asado stared intently, and a familiar feeling arose within him. A scene flashed through his mind, and he was instantly horrified, exclaiming in shock: "Where did you get this Demon-Slaying Sword?!" The Demon-Slaying Sword can be considered the nemesis of those who have fallen into demonic possession, even gods who have become demons are no exception. The reason Asado was able to be sealed away was because Amok possessed this Demon-Slaying Sword. Keep in mind that at that time, Amok and Asado were evenly matched in power. Without the Demon-Slaying Sword, Amok would have had no chance of sealing Asado. Therefore, the power of the Demon-Slaying Sword still haunts him. Now that it has suddenly reappeared, how could he not be alarmed? "

I don't know what you're talking about, but this divine sword in my hands isn't called the Demon-Slaying Sword, it's called the Cloud Sword!" Alaska stroked the smooth blade of the Cloud Sword and whispered.

Hearing that Alaska didn't recognize the Demon-Slaying Sword, Asado's anxiety eased. The Demon-Slaying Spiritual Energy released by the Demon-Slaying Sword is extremely powerful. Even at his peak, he was no match for the five-fold power of that Demon-Slaying Spiritual Energy, demonstrating its formidable strength. Now that the Demon-Slaying Sword was in the hands of a mortal, he had to be careful. With less than thirty percent of his power, if Alaska were to unleash even fifty percent of its power, he would have to return to the sealing stone to continue his slumber. However, he was finally relieved, because in the hands of that mortal, the Demon-Slaying Sword was merely a divine weapon.

The astute Hubert noticed Asado's considerable apprehension towards the Cloud Sword in his hand, knowing that it held great significance. To test his deduction, taking advantage of Alaska's inattention, he suddenly raised Alaska's sword-wielding right hand, feigning a strike. This startled Alaska and caused Asado to take two steps back, a hint of unease on his face.

Seeing that his experiment worked on Asado, Hubert couldn't help but laugh. He said to Alaska, "Brother Alaska, this Cloud Sword in your hand is no ordinary weapon; even gods must yield!" Alaska had been puzzled by Asado's question earlier. Why would a god be so interested in the Cloud Sword in his hand? It seemed that something must be sealed within the sword, something that even the Dark Lord of Destruction feared. Hearing Hubert's smiling eyes, he excitedly replied, "Yes, Brother Hubert, just as you said, I've always thought this sword was extraordinary, but no matter how much I studied it, I haven't seen any effect. This has been a source of great frustration for me!" "Don't worry, we'll find out the secret of this sword sooner or later. The only thing we need to do now is stop Asado's destruction of the human world!" Hubert said with a worried expression.

"Hehe, you two little brats think you can stop me from destroying this world? You'll have a hard time!" Having finally escaped the seal, Asado, having been without a fight for so long, was itching for a battle. Today, with two targets to retaliate against, he couldn't help but feel a little happy. "

Hmph, Asado, don't be so smug. With this Demon-Slaying Spirit Sword in our hands, you'll have a hard time getting past us!" Seeing the Cloud Sword's intimidating power over Asado, Alaska's confidence soared, and he shouted loudly.

"Ah, I'm so scared!" Asado feigned fear.

The scene instantly became tense, and the slightest noise would provoke an attack. Whether Hubert and Alaska can stop Asado's advance will be revealed in the next chapter, "Demon-Slaying Spiritual Energy."

Chapter 150 of the Storm of the Three Kingdoms (Part 1):

Holding the Cloud Soaring Sword, Alaska's heart stirred, his hand trembling slightly as he looked eager to try it out. He wanted to see what was so special about this Demon-Slaying Sword that Asado had mentioned. Hubert, watching from the side, nodded slightly at Alaska's eagerness and said, "Be careful!"

as approval. With Hubert's affirmation, Alaska's platinum battle aura surged, transforming into a white whirlwind as he attacked Asado. Compared to Hubert's speed, Alaska was faster and more elusive, but he also suffered a setback. The Cloud Soaring Sword, its blade covered in sword energy, actually struck Asado's metal arm.

The recoil from the metal arm almost made Alaska drop the Cloud Soaring Sword, but what shocked him even more was that the metal arm remained completely unmarked where the Cloud Soaring Sword had struck. Having failed in his attack, Alaska immediately retreated, fearing Asado would attack him. However, Asado clearly had no such intention, letting him return to Hubert's side. "

How is this possible?!" Hubert's gaze was fixed on Asado's arm, staring at the unharmed arm, and he exclaimed in surprise. Hubert had always believed that even without activating its spiritual power, the Demon-Slaying Sword could at least inflict some damage on Asado; now it seemed impossible.

When Alaska returned to Hubert's side, he stared at Asado with a solemn expression, knowing that they had lost their most reliable weapon of victory, and everything now depended on themselves. "

Hmph, you think you can defeat me with the unsealed Demon-Slaying Sword? That's impossible!" Asado sneered upon seeing

this. Unsealed?! The two exchanged glances, their gazes falling on the Demon-Slaying Sword, the octagonal shape protruding from its hilt becoming their primary focus. They observed it carefully for a while, and just as Asado had said, the Bagua diagram was very likely the seal, and in their view, it seemed completely out of place with the Cloud Sword. "

No wonder! So the sword hasn't been unsealed yet. I wonder what it would look like if it were!" Alaska murmured, stroking the Bagua diagram. "

Hmph, you'll have to wait until your next life to unseal it!" Asado glanced at Hubert and Alaska, disdainfully. "

Anyway, as long as we can stop you from destroying this world, that's enough!" The two exchanged a smile, seemingly in perfect unison, and simultaneously transformed into wisps of smoke, attacking Asado. The faint smoke made it impossible to distinguish who was Hubert and who was Alaska; all that was clear was that one wisp of smoke grazed Asado's neck, and the other pierced his chest.

"Heh, not bad, but showing off in front of me is really unacceptable!" Looking at the shadow as faint as smoke, a cold glint flashed in Asado's eyes, and he laughed.

Asado didn't make any move; he seemed stunned, letting the two attack him. But the outcome surprised everyone. Hubert's Overlord Sword and Alaska's Cloud Sword were deflected upon hitting Asado's body, and the recoil flowed through the swords into their hands, almost causing them to lose their grip on the hilts.

Asado ignored their shocked expressions, simply chuckling, "While I'm in a good mood, you can leave!" Hubert and Alaska exchanged a glance, seeing determination and resolve in their eyes. Almost without hesitation, they simultaneously attacked the weak point most people, including gods—the eyes. But to their surprise, Asado's eyes also possessed a magical power. Just an inch from Asado's eyes, their twin swords, swift as arrows, parted and swirled with a mist of water, quickly spreading out to block the swords. The two men paid no heed to the mist, yet it was precisely this mist that caused them immense suffering. The swords seemed to pierce through cotton, offering no leverage, making it impossible to strike. Moreover, wave after wave of increasingly powerful recoil emanated from the mist, striking their minds as if they had been struck by a heavy blow. Even these tough men couldn't help but bleed from the corners of their mouths.

Hubert and Alaska knew that ordinary attacks were ineffective against him; only their strongest techniques could perhaps halt his advance.

At that moment, Alaska's Cloud Sword flew from his hand, transforming into a streak of light in the air, circling a few times above his head before hovering motionless. Then, Alaska formed a sword incantation and shouted: "Sword Control Technique: Thousand Swords Piercing the Heart!" The Cloud Soaring Sword began to spin gently above his head, its hissing sound seemingly telling everyone that its rotation was accelerating. Just as everyone was staring intently at the Cloud Soaring Sword, they suddenly saw it split in two, forming a small circle and spinning. Before they could react, the sword split again, into four, then eight… In a short while, the thirty-two Cloud Soaring Swords arranged in a circle were slowly rotating above his head.

Almost as soon as the Alaskan Cloud Soaring Sword left his hand, Hubert also acted. He stepped forward, his upper body straight, and held the Tyrant Sword high above his head, his hands supporting it. A cyan whirlwind rose from the ground beneath his feet. When the whirlwind passed over his feet, it didn't even cause a ripple in his trousers, demonstrating the power of this cyan whirlwind. The whirlwind rose rapidly upwards, transforming into an energy ball that merged into the sword's body as it flowed to his hands. As the sword became adorned with specks of azure light, Hubert seemed to resonate with it, enveloped in azure mist.

From within the mist came Hubert's soft shout: "Overlord Sword Technique - Heavy Sword Strike!" Then, the azure mist surrounding him suddenly contracted, azure symbols lit up on the ground, and these circular symbols shot skyward, forming a pillar of azure light. The Overlord Sword in Hubert's hand flew out, and as the pillar of light rose, the sword expanded like an inflatable doll, quickly becoming a giant sword about a hundred meters long and twenty meters wide, hovering in the air.

Almost simultaneously, Hubert and Alaska formed sword incantations and roared: "Go!" Under their command, the thirty-two whirlwind sword formations and the giant sword flew towards Asado's head.

After the Thirty-Two Sword Formation flew over his head, it quickly transformed into a real whirlwind. White-gold energy swords shot from the swords rained down like a dense storm, while the whirlwind sword formation pressed down, ready to deliver a fatal blow to Asado at any moment. At the same time, the giant domineering sword also flew over Asado's head, its blade turning downwards, the tip pointing straight down, accompanied by a whistling sound as it fell towards him.

The speed of the dense rain of energy swords and the giant sword's descent was undeniably fast, yet Asado's massive body vanished from the spot as easily as the wind. The two people who had been watching him didn't even notice that Asado had disappeared, because his speed was so fast that they mistook his afterimage for his real self.

The attack was destined to fail. The dense barrage of energy swords blasted the earth, leaving it riddled with holes. Deep craters formed unintentionally from the bombardment, and plumes of dust shrouded the surrounding area. Just then, a colossal object crashed down—the rapidly descending Tyrant Sword. With a deafening roar, the ground trembled violently, startling even those sleeping hundreds of miles away. Mistaking it for an earthquake, they fled the scene with their children. At the center of the Tyrant Sword's descent, a crater approximately two hundred meters in diameter appeared before their eyes, and embedded in its center was the gigantic Tyrant Sword.

After the dust settled, those who had been observing the scene couldn't help but gasp. The power of that domineering sword strike was immense; their physical bodies would likely be unable to withstand it. However, some were happy, some were worried. The Purple Gold Warriors were naturally overjoyed to see their leader perform like Toothpaste, but for the members of the Hain family, sorrow had already settled around them.

Hubert and Alaska, who were constantly watching Asado, surveyed their surroundings with grim faces, realizing their attacks had missed their target.

Where was Asado really now? Could Hubert and Alaska fulfill their demon-slaying mission? All would be revealed in the next chapter. Please stay tuned!

Chapter 151 of the Storm of the Ages (Part 2): "

Are you looking for me?" Asado's figure suddenly appeared beside the giant pit, smiling with narrowed eyes.

Seeing Asdor suddenly appear before them, the two were startled. With Asdor's elusive movements, killing them would have been a piece of cake, but he didn't. He treated Hubert and Alaska like puppets. Both were extremely intelligent and understood Asdor's intentions.

After Asdor appeared, the whirlwind sword formation locked onto his position again, and Hubert's greatsword, under his control, flew from the pit once more, heading towards Asdor's head.

This time, they couldn't let him escape! They thought simultaneously. Alaska activated the whirlwind sword formation's automatic lock-on function; no matter where Asdor appeared, the whirlwind sword formation could deliver a fatal blow. However, Asdor showed no intention of dodging, allowing the spinning sword formation to fall upon him. With his earth-based body, it was impossible for the sword formation to control him. However, wanting to play with the children, he decided to try it out himself.

Just then, the Great Sword appeared above Asado's head. Seeing that Asado didn't dodge, letting the sword array envelop him, Alaska was secretly pleased, temporarily forgetting his earlier thoughts, and signaled Hubert to attack. Hubert, understanding, directed the giant sword to strike Asado's head. If this strike landed, an ordinary person's head would likely be destroyed. But Asado was a god, and his head was composed of earth elements; did you think he could be hit?

Facing Hubert's fatal blow, a smile flashed across Asado's lips. He clenched his fists, crossed his wrists, and met the descending giant sword. A deafening clang, like a thunderclap, shook everyone's ears, leaving them temporarily deaf. Unable to hear, they could still see. The greatsword clashed with the metal arm, producing a massive shower of sparks. Ultimately, the greatsword held the aerial advantage, and the downward strike sent Asado's feet sinking several centimeters into the ground.

Seeing that Asado seemed unable to withstand the force of his greatsword, Hubert pressed on, directing his greatsword to strike Asado's head again. Just like before, Asado's feet were again forced to sink several centimeters into the ground. Seeing an opportunity, Hubert again directed his greatsword to strike Asado's head. "

Little brat, have you had enough?" This time, facing the greatsword's heavy blow, Asado chose to block with one arm. To Hubert's surprise, as the greatsword struck the metal arm, a powerful force surged from it, not only deflecting his own sword but also shocking Asado's mind, causing him to nearly spit out a mouthful of blood.

Hubert was unwilling to accept such a defeat. He formed a sword incantation and once again commanded the greatsword to attack Asado. "Truly courting death!" Asado sneered, two pale green vines extending from his shoulders to lash out at the descending greatsword. However, the greatsword was too massive; the vines couldn't budge it. So, the vines changed their approach from lashing to pulling. First, one vine tightly gripped the hilt, preventing its descent. Then, the other vine rose up and wrapped around the blade. After wrapping, the vine rapidly spread, densely enveloping the greatsword, making it appear from afar like a pale green greatsword. Unfortunately, this greatsword had lost its previous imposing aura; the pale green was slowly eroding its former power.

From the moment the green vine gripped the hilt of the greatsword, Hubert inwardly cursed, but despite his thoughts, he still did his best to rid himself of the troublesome vines. Fire overcomes wood, that's an indisputable fact. Now that I've freed myself from your entanglement, can't I just burn you with fire? He chanted a sword incantation, and the originally golden-colored sword suddenly burst into crimson flames, even the blade itself turning crimson. Initially, due to the vines' carelessness, they did suffer considerable damage. However, the things on Asado's body were no ordinary objects. After several rounds of torment and burning, the vines were not burned away by the crimson fire; instead, they tightened their grip on the giant sword. Helpless, Hubert engaged in a war of attrition with the vines.

Meanwhile, Alaska, seeing that the whirlwind sword formation's pressure on Asado was ineffective, ordered the formation to attack Asado with all its might. Countless energy swords rained down on him, but Asado's body was as hard as steel. The energy swords struck him with clanging sounds, but left no mark on his body.

When he saw Hubert's greatsword trapped by the wooden vines, two divine swords flew out from the sword formation, slashing at the two main vines. How could he let someone ruin such a fun game? Two beams of water shot from Asado's eyes, and as the two divine swords slashed at the vines, a thin, shimmering wall of water suddenly appeared between them. The two swords crashed into the water wall but couldn't break through; instead, they seemed stuck to it, unable to escape. Anxious, Alaska saw the two swords trapped inside, and Hubert's domineering sword still struggling. He gritted his teeth and commanded the remaining thirty Cloud Swords to form a line, focusing their attack on a single point of the water wall.

Being interrupted during a game was extremely impolite, and Alaska was precisely that kind of interruptor. Seeing the thirty divine swords lined up to attack his water wall, Asado was clearly displeased. He raised his left hand and grabbed at the array of swords arranged in a straight line. A divine sword, seemingly out of control, fell into his hand.

Seeing a sword approaching, Alaska panicked, for he held the true form of the Cloud Soaring Sword. With this grab, the Cloud Soaring Sword shattered, and the other thirty swords vanished without a trace, leaving only the Cloud Soaring Sword in his hand.

Looking at the Demon-Slaying Spirit Sword still dancing in his grasp, Asado examined it carefully, finally saying with great disappointment, "I originally thought the Demon-Slaying Spirit Sword was a good thing, but now it seems utterly useless. Here, you wanted it, right? I'll give it back to you!" Asado tossed the Cloud Soaring Sword into the air, and it shot towards Alaska's chest like a streak of light. Alaska, not expecting Asado to actually return it, could only stare dumbfounded as the Cloud Soaring Sword pierced his chest and passed right through him.

"You…" Alaska pointed at Asado, but before he could finish his sentence, he collapsed to the ground, dead.

Seeing his comrade pierced through the chest by a sword, Hubert's eyes widened in fury. He roared, "Alaska!" The greatsword finally broke free from the vines' restraints, transforming back into the powerful sword in his hand. At this moment, Hubert had no will to fight; his only thought was grief for his comrade's death. He lifted Alaska's head and couldn't help but weep.

"Ah, how boring. One sword and he's dead. How tedious!" Asado sighed softly and turned to leave. But no one noticed that the Demon-Slaying Sword in Alaska's chest was changing.

Hubert was still weeping, holding Alaska's head. Tears streamed down his face, dripping onto the Bagua diagram of the Demon-Slaying Sword in Alaska's chest. His own blood also flowed onto the Bagua diagram, and the fusion of blood and tears caused the Bagua diagram to change. The fused blood and tears, after flowing into the Bagua diagram, spontaneously separated. The tears flowed into the white Tai Chi fish, and the blood into the black one. Almost simultaneously, the Yin and Yang fish lit up, emitting a soft white light. This white light, emanating from the Yin and Yang fish, continued to spread towards the sword, and the sword pierced Alaska's body was slowly withdrawn. Moreover, the already dead Alaska was bathed in white light, and everyone could clearly see his wounds healing rapidly.

Hubert, who had been holding Alaska, had stopped crying and stared in shock at the luminous figure in his arms. After the soft white light dissipated, Hubert discovered that Alaska, who had seemed dead, was now beating a steady heartbeat, and after a while, Alaska's tightly closed eyes opened.

Alaska, supporting himself on Hubert's shoulder, stood up and asked, "What happened? I only remember a sharp light shooting through me, a tightness in my chest, and then I felt like I was plunged into endless darkness, but now I… uh… I'm perfectly fine." Alaska instinctively touched his chest, a strange expression on his face. "

That's great, Alaska! You'll be alright this time, all thanks to that Cloud Sword… no… it should be the Demon-Slaying Sword!" Hubert excitedly patted his shoulder. "

Oh, I didn't expect it to be that!" Alaska looked up at the Demon-Slaying Sword, which was gleaming with white light, and muttered to himself. At this moment, he felt a deeper understanding of the Demon-Slaying Spirit Sword, and the feeling of being connected to it by blood made him want to raise his arms and shout.

Asado naturally saw the changes on Hubert's side. Seeing the piercing, burning sensation of the sword in mid-air, he felt a pang of panic. The sudden unsealing of the Demon-Slaying Spirit Sword terrified him; after all, the battle tens of thousands of years ago was still fresh in his memory, and his aversion to Demon-Slaying Spiritual Energy was much deeper.

What would Asado do next? Could Alaska really reseal him? Everything will be revealed in "Demon-Slaying Spiritual Energy (Part 2)"

Chapter 152: Demon-Slaying Spiritual Energy (Part 2) "

You finally appeared! I never thought you would stoop so low as to unseal with just human blood!" To prevent the Demon-Slaying Spirit Sword from releasing its Demon-Slaying Spiritual Energy and burning him, Asado took several steps back, gazing at the unsealed sword in mid-air, and murmured.

Things weren't as simple as Asado had imagined. While the blood of Alaska was important, without Hubert's heartfelt tears and the lingering, subtle friendship surrounding Tanma, the Demon-Slaying Sword would be difficult to unseal.

The Demon-Slaying Sword emitted a soft light, gradually unveiling its mysterious veil. The faint white light dissipated, revealing an ancient-looking sword before everyone. Its silver-white, streamlined blade was engraved with countless divine characters, interspersed with a few patterns. At the two edges of the blade, the serrated ripples effectively inflicted damage. If one looked closely, a faint blood groove could be seen along the edge of the serrated blade; its purpose is self-evident. Furthermore, regarding the hilt of the Demon-Slaying Spirit Sword, the dragon and phoenix patterns soaring through the heavens on either side of the hilt seem to come alive on the hilt. With dragons and phoenixes, naturally there would be a precious pearl that rivals the sun and moon in brilliance; however, what's inlaid on this spirit sword isn't a pearl, but a Bagua (Eight Trigrams) pattern. Unlike before, this Bagua pattern on the sword gives a natural, serene feeling, whereas the previous unsealing gave a jarring, uncomfortable feeling—this is how its owner, Alaska, now feels. Looking further upwards, a soft, black, metallic-lustered, unidentified substance covers the grip area, with concentric grooves designed to enhance the wielder's feel.

The Demon-Slaying Sword slowly fell into Alaska's hands. He lovingly gazed at the sword, now restored to its original form, his eyes landing on the upper middle section of the blade. Two arrogant, domineering characters caught his eye, prompting him to ponder their meaning amidst his astonishment. Unfortunately, he couldn't understand the script. If someone versed in divine language were to read it, they would surely recognize the two characters, for they were the sword's name—Demon Slayer.

Holding the Demon-Slaying Sword in his hand, an indescribable sense of comfort washed over him. Seeing Asado standing not far away, Alaska couldn't help but shout: "Hey, Asado, the Demon-Slaying Sword is now unsealed! Tonight is your death day!" "Hmph, so what if it's unsealed? With your mediocre skills, you have no chance of killing me with the Demon-Slaying Sword!" Asado, arrogant and self-important, scoffed at Alaska's words. "Why

don't you try and see?" Alaska once again transformed into a wisp of smoke, thrusting towards Asado's chest.

"The same attack will be useless against me!" Asado, just as before, raised his right arm, preparing to block the blow.

But Asado's smug smile froze. The next moment, when his metal arm touched the Demon-Slaying Sword, there was no clanging sound as he expected. Instead, a stinging pain shot through his arm. The Demon-Slaying Sword, which he had so scorned, had pierced his arm, leaving a gash.

Alaska retreated, sheathing its sword and crossing its arms, watching with interest as Asado stared in astonishment at his wounded arm.

Seeing the wound gradually healing, Asado was furious. No one had ever dared to leave a mark on him, not even his twin brother, Amoco. But now someone dared to violate this taboo, and the consequences would be dire. An old saying goes: "Dragons have scales that cannot be touched; to touch them is certain death." But few know that humans also have scales that cannot be touched; to offend them will bring profound disaster. "

You…you actually hurt me!" Lifting his healed wound, Asado's anger flared even more fiercely, clearly reaching its peak. "

So what if I hurt you? I still want to kill you!" Hubert's eyes darted around, a plan forming in his mind, and he sneered. He suddenly realized that provoking someone could make them lose their mind, preventing them from unleashing their normal strength; he wondered if this would work on a god. Hubert's idea was indeed good, but he had underestimated one thing: even gods have moments of anger, and when a god is angry, it's something they, as humans, cannot withstand. "

You wretch, you're courting death!" Hearing Hubert's arrogant words, how could Asado not be enraged? His left metal arm writhed, undergoing a dramatic transformation from the shoulder down. Sharp, barbed spikes emerged from the oval-shaped metal sphere, and his left hand was also forged into that same oval shape. The transformation was complete; Asado had transformed his left arm into a deadly weapon—a spiked club. This club was far more formidable than any ordinary weapon. He slammed the club into the ground, and the ground shook violently. Cracks spread across the ground, widening rapidly until they formed a chasm two zhang wide.

This drastic change caused panic among those present, especially the remaining members of the Hain family. The chasm seemed to be deliberately targeting them, instantly creating a gaping fissure beneath their feet and plunging many of their clansmen into death. Hubert and Alaska, the attackers, were not deterred by this difficulty. With their profound skills, they levitated in mid-air. The tremors of the ground seemed far from over. Following the splitting of the ground, sharp stone pillars rose again. But these pillars alone weren't enough for Asado. The thick pillars were instantly covered with a shimmering metallic substance, giving their tips an alluring, cold sheen.

These metallic spikes showed no mercy; as inanimate objects, they were more interested in piercing through anything that stood in their way. Screams echoed from nearby, proving the power of these spikes. Even the purple-gold warriors suffered considerable damage from their unpredictable movements, though thankfully no one was seriously injured.

Hovering in mid-air, Hubert and Alaska, witnessing the dramatic changes below, were initially stunned, then their expressions turned grave. They discussed, "Brother Alaska, the situation is not good. We need to think of a way!" "Yes, I think so too, but I think we should have a way to deal with him now." Alaska brandished the Demon-Slaying Sword in her hand and said happily, "

Although the Demon-Slaying Sword has been unsealed, are you able to wield it now?" Hubert asked with a questioning look.

"Don't worry, you'll see soon enough." Alaska gave him a definite answer, and then began to wield his divine sword. Soft white light streamed around him, quickly forming a thin membrane of light before him. Alaska lightly tapped the membrane with his sword, and the white light slowly moved towards Asado.

Seeing the membrane, imbued with demon-slaying energy, attacking him, Asado smiled disdainfully. In his view, the demon-slaying energy emanating from Alaska posed no threat whatsoever. A wooden vine shot out from his back, coiling towards the membrane.

This should have been an extremely easy task, but something astonishing happened. Just as the vine was about to strike the membrane, it suddenly coiled, coalescing into a ball of light that shot past the vine's attack, accelerating towards him. Caught off guard, Asado was suddenly struck by the ball of light above his head. Just as he was about to smash the thing in his anger, Alaska's shout came from not far away: "Demon-Slaying Net, Bind!" The sphere of light quickly unfolded, and strands of demon-slaying energy formed a large net that swept over the unsuspecting Asado.

The moment the net enveloped him, Asado let out a pig-like scream. The Demon-Slaying Net, once wrapped around him, seemed to come alive, drilling into his body. Moreover, wherever the net passed, a puff of blue smoke rose. Even more terrifying, the demon-slaying energy seemed to prevent his body from regenerating, leaving deep, long wounds wherever the net passed. Perhaps the burning power of the Demon-Slaying Spiritual Energy wasn't enough, because a cloud of black mist rose from his body, vying for control. After all, even a powerful dragon can't suppress a timid snake; after a difficult ordeal, the black mist gained the upper hand, and the outcome was predictable.

Seemingly to quickly heal the wounds inflicted by the Demon-Slaying Spiritual Sword, the black mist enveloped Asado's entire body. But after a while, he roared in exasperation: "So this is Demon-Slaying Spiritual Energy! I'll make you suffer a terrible death!" The black mist surged rapidly, and from within emerged a curved blade of metal, attacking Alaska in mid-air.

Alaska, seeing this, knew it was too late to dodge and could only use the Demon-Slaying Spiritual Sword to defend itself. With a deafening bang, the metal blade struck the divine sword, sending it flying and spitting out a mouthful of blood mist. Alaska, who had just recovered, was now injured. Hubert, still recovering from the previous battle, could only watch helplessly as Alaska walked towards the heavily wounded.

To find out Alaska's fate, please continue reading the next chapter, "The Avatar."

Chapter 153 of the Storm Chapter: The Avatar

. Asado slowly walked towards the fallen Alaska, his figure gradually emerging from the black mist. His body was covered in wounds inflicted by the Demon-Slaying Spirit Net, even a #mark on his face, adding to his already ugly appearance. "

It seems I underestimated you clowns. You actually managed to ravage my body. However, you won't have that chance again." Asado's face twisted in a rage as he struck at the fallen Alaska with a whooshing sound. If that powerful punch, weighing over a thousand pounds, had truly struck Alaska, he probably wouldn't have survived.

However, fate seemed to favor Alaska. A concentrated sphere of light hurtled towards Asado from afar, making him wary. If he hit Alaska, he too would be struck by the light. Judging from the energy contained within the sphere, this blow would surely obliterate him. Compared to his own life, what was Alaska's life worth? Thinking this, he retracted his right fist, simultaneously inhaling and contracting his abdomen, retreating rapidly. Just as the light sphere was about to strike his chest, he dodged outwards, narrowly avoiding the danger. This series of movements was as fluid and natural as flowing water; the light sphere naturally missed him and disappeared into the distance.

Asado, still shaken, watched the light sphere vanish into the distance and called out, "Which master played this little joke on me? Please come out and have a chat!" "It's me!" A figure slowly emerged from ahead, and as it drew closer, its face became clearer.

"Young...Young Master, you...you're not..." Alaska stared at me in astonishment, pointing towards the direction where I and Dorrant were facing, only to be surprised to see me there as well. Seeing two identical versions of myself, Alaska swallowed back the words she was about to say, and even Hubert looked at me with a surprised yet questioning gaze. "

The two versions of me that you two see can be said to be both me, or they can be neither of me, because...as I walked towards them, the one I had initially created split into two versions on either side, and as I approached, the figures multiplied, forming a long line, all walking in unison towards the two of them.

Young Master, this is..." Faced with so many versions of themselves, the two were at a loss for what to do.

As one of the Five Elements Gods of that time, Asado naturally possessed vast knowledge. While avatars were popular in their era, few gods could master them. Even he himself could only create a maximum of two avatars. Yet this mortal before him could create so many! At first glance, these avatars seemed merely decorative, with identical movements and blank expressions—hardly worthy of being called avatars. However, Asado saw things differently. Upon closer inspection, he discovered that these so-called avatars were real. Although their movements were synchronized, he noticed subtle differences. For example, one of them had its eyes darting around, while another had a faint smile on its face. Some had slightly bent fingers, and some lifted their feet a little faster, but the overall coordination made it impossible to detect any flaws. With so many avatars, Asado no longer considered me a mortal, but rather a recluse hidden in the human world.

As I approached Alaska, all the clones I had created retracted. Under his questioning gaze, I smiled and replied, "This is called 'Avatar,' a technique only those who have reached the pinnacle of power can use. These clones may seem useless, but they can be used to confuse others, often achieving victory through deception!" Of course, this was just a superficial explanation; if I told the truth, few would believe me.

However, he didn't seem fooled by my outward appearance. Asado scoffed, "If this is all there is to 'Avatar,' it's a waste of your talent." "Asado, no one will think you're mute if you don't speak. If you want to try it, perhaps I should show you!" I said coldly. [

Hahaha…Avatar isn't just something you can do; I can too. Watch closely!] Seemingly to demonstrate his strength, two clones of Asado split off from his left and right sides, each with distinct movements. The one on the left lashed out with a whip behind his back, producing a series of cracking sounds, while the one on the right wielded a spiked club in his right hand. "

Young Master, why is his avatar different from yours?" Alaska asked with a puzzled expression.

Ignoring Alaska's body heat, I didn't answer, but merely glanced at Asado's performance and said calmly, "Barely satisfactory!" "Hmph, your avatars seem numerous, but the actual energy they gather is pitifully small, not even as powerful as my two clones!" Asado sneered. "

Looks like you won't give up until you've faced the truth. Let's see whose avatar is more powerful!" One by one, clones leaped out of my body, transforming into wisps of smoke that enveloped the three Asados.

"Heh heh, your little tricks can't fool this god. Go, Whip a Thousand Miles!" Two vine whips on the back of one of them stretched out quickly, weaving a net of whips in the air, covering all of me. "

Trying to catch me? Not so easy!" one of me sneered. Each clone assumed a different posture; some condensed a ball of light in their hands, others erected protective shields of various colors in front of them... In any case, just as the vine whips were about to strike, some of the clones responsible for the attack threw out their energy balls. Boom boom ...

"It seems I underestimated you. But you still can't withstand my three-part attack!" Seeing my clones react, he was first surprised, then sneered. "

Why don't you try and see?" Sensing Aso's impending attack, I solemnly withdrew my clone, ready to defend against his attack.

Aso, along with his two clones, began to spin simultaneously. The black whirlwind stirred up the sand on the ground, creating a significant obstacle for me, who was observing from the shadows. However, I could vaguely see a change: the whirlwind gradually rose into the air, the three whirlwinds revolving around a center. Then, as they spun, the three whirlwinds gradually converged, finally merging into a larger whirlwind. It seemed that Aso within the whirlwind had finished merging; the wind speed gradually decreased, and Aso's figure became increasingly clear. [

After merging with his two clones, Asodo didn't seem to have changed much. His already towering ten-meter frame had grown even taller, and four thick arms extended from his back, bringing his total to six arms. Before my astonished eyes, a large hole suddenly appeared in his chest, from which a fist-sized Five Elements Orb floated, hovering in front of him. After the Orb appeared, Asodo's six hands rapidly made hand gestures. Each gesture, inserted into the Orb, caused it to emit a five-colored light. With each gesture, the light grew brighter, becoming so intense that it blinded everyone.]

Despite the absurd intensity of the light, I remained vigilant. I sensed a powerful energy gathering within the Five Elements Pearl, and it was still increasing. Feeling a threat to my life, my expression grew even more serious. Within the multicolored light, six pairs of golden wings gradually emerged from my back, and a colorless, transparent shield enveloped Asado and me, preventing our energy clash from affecting our surroundings.

Hubert and Alaska, who had been blinded by the multicolored light, suddenly felt a relief in their eyes. Opening their eyes, they found everything had returned to calm; Asado and I had vanished before their eyes.

Gently flapping my twelve wings, I took a step forward with my left leg, leaned slightly forward, and placed my hands flat against each other, palms slightly outward. A golden ball of energy formed in my palms. As the twelve wings behind me unfolded, the energy of heaven and earth flowed continuously from my wings into my palm. Soon, the golden ball of energy, originally only the size of a fist, swelled to the size of a washbasin.

I let out a soft shout: "Golden Destruction Cannon, go!" The top of the golden ball of energy seemed to shatter, and a beam of light as thick as a child's arm shot towards where Asodo stood.

Almost as soon as I fired the Golden Destruction Cannon, Asodo also shouted: "Five Elements Shockwave, strike!" The five elements pearl, radiating colorful light, suddenly contracted its brilliance and began to spin rapidly. Then, a beam of light shot out from the pearl, striking the spot where I was standing.

What kind of shock will these two energies, brimming with world-destroying power, bring us? Will they destroy everything here, or…? All will be revealed in the next chapter.

In Chapter 154 of the "Storm of Wind and Cloud" arc, everything has a cause and effect

. Two pillars of energy, brimming with the power to destroy the world, finally collided in the void. Contrary to expectations, there was no devastating danger. The two energy pillars seemed to cancel each other out due to the opposing energies. At the point of impact, a thin film, its energy dissipated and absorbed by the surrounding area, shimmered with multicolored light.

Initially, I only used 80% of my strength in the clash, and judging from Aso's calm demeanor, he was probably about the same. However, seeing the two energy pillars evenly matched, we both became fiercely determined, focusing all our attention and unleashing our full power in a charge. But the result was far from optimistic; we were evenly matched. Looking at the dazzling light from the energy collision, beyond the initial brilliance of the colors, what we saw was the sparks from our collision. We seemed to be giving it our all, even the film of light was half golden and half multicolored.

Having just arrived in this world, it was truly remarkable that he managed to fight me to a standstill with his formidable strength. Unfortunately, if this continued, his reinforcements would inevitably run out, and he would ultimately be defeated by me.

However, I no longer had the patience to wait, because Dorrant, who was opposing my clone, was about to break through the illusion I had created. Unexpectedly, he, who had previously seemed weak, unleashed a powerful mental force, almost seriously injuring me in the process. It seemed that only by quickly eliminating Asdor could I settle things with Dorrant.

Thinking this, the twelve wings on my back increased their energy absorption speed, and the energy pillar in my hand not only contained more energy but also expanded in diameter. Slowly, the light membrane shifted towards Asdor, and most of its area was now covered by the golden light; the scales of victory had tipped in my favor.

Seeing the light membrane slowly advancing towards him, Asado was terrified. He hadn't expected that after this clash of energy, I would still have the strength to attack him. He didn't want to be defeated so quickly, so he gritted his teeth and even sacrificed a few wisps of his life force to try and withstand my offensive.

Sensing that the pressure on Asado's hands had increased, I knew that dragging things out like this wasn't a solution. So, a plan came to mind. Although I was pushing the Golden Destruction Cannon with both hands, I hadn't shown off much before to avoid making a spectacle of myself. But now it was different; I could support the Golden Destruction Cannon with just one hand. I didn't care what the common people thought anymore. I gently moved the golden beam of light to my right hand, slightly bent my left index finger, drew a Bagua in the air, and then gently tapped it. The small Bagua transformed into a stream of light and rushed into the light membrane. Asado, who had sacrificed a few wisps of his life force, didn't notice my small movement. He was now completely focused on supporting the Five Elements Yuan Pearl.

After the small Bagua rushed into the light membrane, it emitted faint light waves and gradually merged into the membrane. With the addition of the small Bagua, the properties of the light membrane, which was originally a buffer zone between the two energies, changed dramatically. The side of the light membrane that resisted the Five Elements shockwave actually began to rotate slowly, and the Bagua pattern appeared on the membrane. The Five Elements shockwave was actually absorbed by the rotating Bagua when it hit the membrane, and under the amplification of my golden light pillar, the suction force of the small Bagua actually increased significantly.

While Asado was focused on the light pillar, he glanced at me on the other side. However, to his surprise, he felt increasingly powerless in the collision of our energies, while I seemed energetic and calm. Could it be that I had absorbed new energy? In order to find out for sure, Asado also diverted a wisp of his divine sense to find the source of my change while focusing on the collision of the two energies. However, when he noticed the light membrane inexplicably rotating between the two energies, absorbing a large amount of energy from his hands, he finally understood why he had been struggling so much.

At this point, Asado, having exhausted his remaining life force, was already feeling weak. Seeing my composed expression opposite him, he felt a surge of anger. So what if I'm a twelve-winged angel? Back in my day, there were plenty of twelve-winged angels, and they were all at his mercy. But now he was being discriminated against, and a feeling of resentment welled up inside him. However, in his anger, Asado forgot the color of my twelve-winged feathers—golden yellow—representing the power of a holy angel. The power of a twelve-winged holy angel was many times stronger than that of a twelve-winged angel; how could he, now fallen and vulnerable, possibly contend with it?

The rotating light membrane was gradually approaching, and the increasingly powerful suction was a warning to Asado that his life was being drained away drop by drop. Recalling his former carefree and arrogant self, a strong resentment welled up in his watery eyes; he was unwilling to accept it!

The light membrane, however, didn't care about his willingness or unwillingness, slowly advancing forward, still fulfilling its duty. Unfortunately, Asado didn't want it to crush him. With a death wish, his originally tall body rapidly swelled, his bulging belly resembling a round watermelon. His earth-elemental body began to show fine lines, as if it couldn't bear the weight.

"Xie Yun, you want me dead? I won't let you get away with this today!" Hahaha... Just as the golden beam struck Asodo, his massive body began to crack, and streaks of crimson fire shot out from the fissures. With a bang, Asodo's body suddenly exploded, and from the point of explosion, flying chunks of earth, carrying streaks of scorching flames, swept in all directions. Fortunately, I had set up a barrier in time while fighting him; otherwise, with the explosive force and scorching temperature of these earth and rocks, this place would probably have become a fiery inferno.

The Golden Destruction Cannon stopped me when Asodo self-destructed. After all, even a god couldn't withstand such a massive energy output. Those fiery earth and rocks were still pouring into the barrier, and many even grazed past my ears, giving me quite a fright.

Asado's self-destruction added a significant amount of still-flaming earth and stone to the ground within the barrier. The rising heat instantly increased the temperature within the barrier considerably; even I felt my pores open, and a bead of sweat was forming.

Dispelling the barrier and folding my wings, I was shocked to find that at the center of Asado's self-destruction, the Five Elements Orb, which housed the soul of Diablo, lay quietly on the grass, gleaming with an alluring light. Seeing this orb, I couldn't help but sigh: Asado, you, a supreme god, have met such an end. What was the reason?! Was it merely for the desire to conquer the human realm? But as a supreme god, this is not what you desired, is it? Because if you wanted to, it would be far too easy. But… could it be for the punishment your twin brother inflicted upon you? Or…? Unconsciously, my hand reached for the orb lying on the grass. It remained there quietly, radiating its alluring glow. Picking up the Five Elements Pearl should have been an easy task, but something changed, making things complicated.

Just as my left hand touched it, I suddenly felt my hand slip. The Five Elements Pearl seemed to have a mind of its own, avoiding my grasp. I was astonished. Had the massive explosion not destroyed him? The Five Elements Pearl

quickly provided the answer. Asado

's voice echoed from within the pearl, he snarled, "Today, I, the God of Destruction, have fallen here! But, brat, once I've recovered, I'll settle the score with you!" Seemingly to prevent a sneak attack, Asado swiftly ascended, transforming into a streak of light and flying into the starry sky.

Gazing at the trail left by the pearl, I sighed to the heavens, "Humans are selfish; they only look ahead, never considering the future. Even gods are no exception."

Despite my regrets, although I failed to eliminate Asdor, he's now too powerful to wreak havoc on the world. The most pressing matter now is the battle with Dorrant. Why do I feel a strange familiarity with Dorrant? What will happen between me and Dorrant? Stay tuned, and Dorrant's true identity will be revealed!
