Volume One [Emerging from the Ashes]

001. [The Capital of the Han River]

Since ancient times, this place has been a strategic location fought over by military strategists.

This ancient city is said to be the thoroughfare of the nine provinces, and the three towns of Wuhan are famous for their three major rivers, earning it the ancient title of the confluence of the three rivers.

"Little beggar, get out of here! Don't ruin my business."

At the entrance of a grandly decorated restaurant called Shunyoufa on Hanyuan Road, a burly man was shooing away a fifteen or sixteen-year-old "beggar." This beggar wasn't like the typical beggar we see: ragged clothes, emaciated and sallow-faced. This beggar was quite the opposite. Although his clothes were old, they were clean, and his face was rosy and smooth. He didn't resemble the typical emaciated beggar; he looked like a middle school student who had run away from home.

"Boss, please, I won't eat your food for free! Can I work for you?"

"Well…" the boss looked him up and down. "How old are you?"

"Sixteen."

"Well, that won't do. Child labor is not welcome." Despite his burly appearance, the boss was quite knowledgeable about the law. As the saying goes, appearances can be deceiving. Although the restaurant owner looked fierce, he had a kind heart—a "sharp tongue but a soft heart."

"Boss, I haven't eaten for two days, please have pity on me!" he pleaded. "Boss, I won't eat your food for nothing, I'll work for you. If anyone asks, just say I'm your distant relative."

"This, this, let me think about it." The boss pondered for a moment and said, "Don't worry about that now, come with me and have a good meal first."

"Thank you, boss!"

The owner of this impressive Shunyoufa Restaurant was named Hong Dafu. His hometown was a remote, poor village in Yunnan. When he was a teenager, he followed some people who often went to the border area between China and Yunnan to "gamble on stones." He first helped others guard the stones, and through his attentiveness and sweet talk, he won over the older people. The older people especially liked this clever and quick-witted young man, and they would take him with them every time they "gambled on stones," explaining the intricacies of "gambling on stones" to him. In less than five years, Hong Dafu had learned the entire technique of "gambling on stones" and the mindset to handle crises.

He had already made a name for himself in the jade gambling world. Once, while helping a Hong Kong tycoon with his jade gambling, the tycoon took a liking to him and hired him as his professional jade gambling consultant at a high salary. Within just three years, he amassed a fortune of two to three million. At this point, he realized he couldn't keep working for others like this; he needed his own business. So he resigned from his job. The Hong Kong tycoon, understanding his situation, knew that his place wasn't right for him and that he needed to find his own path to success. He readily agreed to his request and even gave him one million Hong Kong dollars.

Since Hong Dafu is fond of jade gambling, it's necessary to mention its origin:

Jade gambling is the buying and selling of raw jadeite stones, one of the most mysterious transactions in the jewelry industry. Its mystery lies in the word "gamble," hence the terms "jade gambling" and "stone gambling."

Generally, one cannot discern the true nature of a stone from its appearance alone. Even with today's advanced science, no instrument can quickly determine whether the jade inside is "precious jade" or "worthless trash" through its outer shell. Therefore, the trade is very risky and "exciting," hence the term "gambling." The profits from winning are huge, which is why this trade has endured from ancient times to the present.

Legend has it that Burmese jade merchants, after gambling on a stone, generally dare not be present when it is actually cut and processed, but instead burn incense and pray for divine protection nearby. If the cut stone contains many vibrant, translucent green stones, one can become a millionaire overnight; if the cut stone is actually a piece of gray sand with a green exterior and white interior, one can be bankrupt overnight.

From the Qing Dynasty to the Republic of China era, there was a jargon in the jewelry industry called "gambling shop," referring to the discerning eye of jewelry enthusiasts who sought out jade in jewelry stores. Success in jade trading, especially the trade in raw stones, relies heavily on luck, much like gambling or investing in the future.

According to the *Dianhai Yuzheng Zhi* written by Tan Cui in the Qing Dynasty, "Jade comes from the Jinsha River in the south. The river was formerly under the jurisdiction of Tengyue, more than two thousand li from the prefecture, and is rich in jade. The Yi people mined it, leaving piles on the riverbanks. The rough ore, about the size of pebbles, was unrecognizable; they didn't know if it contained jade or its quality. Merchants bought it at will and transported it to Dali and Yunnan Province, where jade workshops were set up. Upon cutting it open, they found jadeite, and became instantly wealthy!" This is the historical origin of the "jade gambling" trade on the borders of China and Myanmar, and Myanmar and Thailand.

Jade gambling involves using uncut jade as a gamble. The most famous jade gambling piece in Chinese history is the "He Shi Bi" (He's Jade Disc). Legend has it that two thousand years ago in the State of Chu, a man named Bian He discovered a piece of jade. He presented it to two different rulers of Chu, who, believing they had been cheated, cut off his left and right legs. Bian He, unable to walk due to his leglessness, wept for three days and three nights on Mount Chu, clutching a piece of jade. King Wen of Chu learned of this and sent for the jade, which was then cut open by a jade craftsman. The result was a gem-quality jade. This gem was named "He Shi Bi" (He's Jade Disc). Later, it came into the possession of King Hui of Zhao, and King Zhaoxiang of Qin offered fifteen cities in exchange for it, demonstrating its immense value. This gem was later carved into the Imperial Seal of the State, which remained until the Western Jin Dynasty when it was lost.

If Bian He were alive today, he would undoubtedly be a renowned jade gambling master. It's important to understand that discerning the quality of jade from its outer layer requires profound knowledge of jade. "Even immortals struggle to judge an inch of jade, and masters often falter." Jade is mysterious underground; no instrument can detect it. Even after it emerges, it's encased in a layer of rock, and what lies beneath remains a mystery. Therefore, the process of judging jade is known in the trade as "jade gambling."

Jade gambling, a form of jade trading, has emerged and flourished in the China-Myanmar border region over the past decade or so. Without any visible cuts, no one can say what's inside a rough stone except for its shape and weight. Only by cutting it open can a true conclusion be reached. Jade gamblers rely on their experience, observing the outer layer, repeatedly guessing and judging to estimate the price. Buying it might result in a stone with excellent color and clarity, instantly becoming worth millions, or it might be colorless and lacking clarity, instantly becoming worthless. This is the risk of jade gambling. A single stone can make someone rich overnight, or it can bankrupt them overnight.

Actually, judging the quality of jade is quite simple. It's about its hardness and density. Jade has a very high hardness, generally reaching Mohs scale seven, which is called "type" in the jade industry. Good "type" means high hardness. In Myanmar, Ruili and Tengchong in Yunnan, it's common to see jade sellers conducting tests, scratching their rough jade stones against a piece of glass. The glass is left with deep scratches, while the jade remains undamaged. Good jade has a hardness comparable to diamond. Next is transparency, known in the trade as "water content"; higher transparency indicates higher quality. Top-grade jade is like glass, described in the jade industry as having a "glassy bottom."

If the surface shows no green at all, only the green at the opening, its price should be lower than its actual value.

This is the general basis and principle for estimating the price of high-grade jade raw materials, and using this method will not result in significant deviations.

The quality of jade raw materials is highly variable, with no fixed judgment pattern. Even a flawless piece of jade with its outer layer completely removed may reveal significant changes after cutting. Therefore, estimating jade raw materials is highly practical; only through extensive observation, buying, reflection, and collecting can one understand the patterns in jade prices.

There are two types of jade raw stones: mountain jade and alley jade.

The "In Search of the Supernatural" records that the seven-colored stones used by Nuwa to mend the sky were the raw stones that people dreamed of. In ancient times, Nuwa created humans from clay, and people revered her as the mother of mankind, ushering in the Paleolithic Age; in the distant past, Nuwa gathered spiritual stones to mend the sky, and people revered her as the first of the Three Sovereigns, entering the Neolithic Age; now, in the "Nuwa Chronicle," the jade industry promotes Nuwa's spirit of blessing the world and leads the jade culture

! Hong Dafa, relying on his Hong Kong fortune and his own three million, came alone to the largest raw stone production base at the border of China and Myanmar. He rented a house and lived there, going to the raw stone extraction site every day, only to be disappointed each time. In his eyes, those were just ordinary jade stones with no value whatsoever.

After half a year, Hong Dafa still hadn't found any good raw stones. But he didn't lose heart and continued to wait at the raw stone extraction site every day.

002, "Border of Yunnan and Myanmar"

That morning, Hong Dafa had breakfast early and went to the stone quarry.

Why was he here so early today? He usually arrived at the quarry after nine o'clock, because he knew that the workers would only produce the first batch of raw materials after nine. It was all because last night he had a strange dream:

a massive flood rushed towards him, instantly engulfing him in its raging torrents. Before he could even cry for help, he was swept away. He didn't know when the floodwaters receded, but he looked around. Apart from a strangely shaped stone at his feet, there was nothing else. Being an expert, his intuition told him immediately that this stone was extraordinary. He sensed a faint, almost imperceptible spiritual energy emanating from it, flowing into his spiritual sea—an energy not everyone could perceive; only he could sense the spiritual energy emanating from this jade. He never doubted his senses. He picked up a stone at his feet, held it to his nose, and inhaled deeply. Instantly, a fresh, jade-like aura rushed into his mind. His intuition told him that it contained a rare piece of jade. He wasn't sure what kind of jade it was, but he was certain it was a raw stone that would attract worldwide attention.

He burst into laughter for no reason, but this laughter woke him up.

Hong Dafa sat up in bed, looking at the sunlight streaming in through the window. He carefully recalled the dream, the scene vividly imprinted in his mind, the shape of the stone constantly flashing before his eyes.

"Yes, today I'll definitely find a raw stone that will astound the world." Hong Dafa quickly dressed, hastily ate breakfast, and headed straight to the quarry.

Today was indeed different from usual; the quarry workers had already piled up the first batch of stones for the day.

Hong Dafa didn't bother chatting with the familiar workers; his eyes scanned the stones relentlessly, but he didn't see the strangely shaped raw stone he had seen in his dream the night before. Hong Dafa wasn't discouraged. He believed in his dream and his intuition, a principle deeply ingrained in experienced jade gamblers: dreaming of a flood foretells good fortune; and finding stones after the flood suggests they are spiritually significant jade. Based on these two points, Hong Dafa was convinced today would be his chance to make a fortune.

The first batch of stones he unearthed didn't contain what he dreamed of; the second, and the third…

The entire morning was almost over, and the workers were about to finish their shift. Hong Dafa still hadn't found the rough stone from his dream. Just as he was about to leave, disheartened, the last batch of rough stones for the morning was unearthed…

Suddenly, his eyes lit up. A rough stone exactly like the one in his dream was before him, and next to it was a stone shaped like a human hand. He felt a little strange; why did this hand-shaped stone look so familiar? Hong Dafa couldn't help but step forward. The further he went, the more he felt an unprecedented spiritual energy from jade seeping into his seven orifices. He also sensed a powerful jade-like spiritual energy emanating from the two rough stones.

Hong Dafa's heart pounded wildly. He had been immersed in the jade gambling business since his teens; what kind of rough stones hadn't he seen? What kind of jade-like spiritual energy hadn't he felt? But he had never encountered such intense spiritual energy before. How could he not be excited?

At this moment, the owner of the raw stone quarry, One-Eyed Dragon, walked over and gently patted Hong Dafa on the shoulder, saying, "Don't look at these anymore, they're just two worthless pieces of junk. Come back this afternoon."

Hong Dafa looked at One-Eyed Dragon and said firmly, "No, I want these two raw stones. Brother, name your price!"

One-Eyed Dragon and Hong Dafa were very close. He had valued the young man highly when Hong Dafa was still an apprentice. But seeing Hong Dafa's actions today, although he didn't know what Hong Dafa was thinking, seeing his persistence, he shook his head and said, "We're brothers, give me a thousand for these two raw stones. It'll be easier for you to speak up for yourself in front of the workers."

Hong Dafa hadn't expected this outcome, but he immediately understood One-Eyed Dragon's meaning and said, "Brother, thank you. If you ever need my help, just ask. I'll go through fire and water for you."

"Don't say that, we're good brothers." One-Eyed Dragon patted Hong Dafa on the shoulder, shook his head, and left.

Hong Dafa took the two stones, pressing each one against his chest, slowly feeling them. This was the first thing he always did whenever he started gambling on stones. But this time, the feeling was very different from before. He could hardly believe his eyes, because the rough stone shaped like a hand gave him a tremendous feeling—a feeling only a stone gambler could feel, a communication between the heart and the jade. In their eyes, jade, like people, possessed a spirit, feelings, and the ability to choose its owner.

The rough stone that appeared in his dream didn't have such a strong spiritual energy, but his intuition told him that it must contain a rare piece of jade.

Hong Dafa carefully wrapped the two rough stones and returned to his small inn. He went back to his room, immediately closed the door, gently placed the hand-shaped rough stone on the table, and took out some tools he always used for stone gambling: a small file, a small wooden mallet, and a small bottle of some liquid. Especially since this liquid was passed down to Hong Dafa by his master before his death, who also left a will: "Dafa, the liquid in this small bottle is something I've used for gambling on stones for decades. I don't know how it's made; it was also passed down to me by my master. You must use it well."

Hong Dafa first used a small file to slowly file the hand-shaped rough stone. After filing just a little bit, he felt the file was a bit wooden. He quickly put down the file, gently blew away the dust, and then used a small brush to apply a little of the liquid from the small bottle to the filed area...

Instantly, a dazzling red light flashed before his eyes, and his heart became even more excited: this was a rare gemstone with an inlaid ruby, but he didn't know what the core would be. However, this glimmer of red light told him that there must be a priceless gemstone inside the rough stone. He calmed himself down and carefully wrapped the hand-shaped rough stone in a golden cloth and placed it close to his body. After doing all this, he took the hexagonal rough stone that had appeared in his dream and was now placed on the table.

He was about to test it with his tools, but immediately put it down. He had thought of the best way: so he wrapped the rough stone carefully, put it in his small leather suitcase, and then sat on the bed, quietly pondering…

This place had the largest source of rough stones, and of course, the largest gambling stone market.

Actually, he realized he couldn't sell the rough stone here; he needed to go to a reputable place to gamble on stones, so he could have a greater chance of success.

003. [The Jade Gambling Market]

Hong Dafu first thought of his friend Zhang Honggui in Kunming. Zhang Honggui was a well-known tycoon in the area, owning four or five jade carving factories. He was highly sought after in both legitimate and illegitimate circles, and Hong Dafu and Zhang Honggui had a very close relationship. Since he went to Hong Kong's richest man to inspect jade, they had lost touch, but their friendship remained.

Thinking of this, he couldn't sit still any longer and quickly packed his things, preparing to leave for Kunming that afternoon.

So Hong Dafa picked up his luggage, paid the bill, and called Zhang Honggui, who was far away in Kunming:

"Brother Gui, it's me, Fazai. How are you?"

"It's you, Fazai. You haven't called me in so long. Are you alright?"

"It's all thanks to Brother Gui's good fortune."

"You little rascal, you're teasing me again. I heard you're not in Hong Kong anymore."

"Brother Gui's information network is really good." "

Fazai, I told you a long time ago that I wanted you to come work for my company. You could choose whichever position you wanted, but you insisted on going to Hong Kong. Sigh!"

"Brother Gui, I'm in Lixian now. I have a really good piece of raw jade. Would you be interested in looking into it?"

"Really?" Zhang Honggui exclaimed on the phone, then quickly composed himself, his tone filled with urgency and joy, "Kunming isn't far from there, only two or three hours away. I'll come pick you up."

"Brother Gui, no need. I'm just about to leave for your place."

"Okay. I'll pick you up at the train station."

...

Hong Dafa put down his phone, picked up his luggage, and boarded the train to Kunming.

Kunming, an ancient yet youthful city, now exudes a modern vibe. As far back as the Spring and Autumn Period, it was the territory of the Dian tribe. In 286 BC, during the Warring States Period, in the 29th year of King Nan of Zhou, the Chu general Zhuang led his people into Dian, later adopting local customs and establishing the "Dian Kingdom." The ancient city of Dian is said to be near Jincheng, south of present-day Kunming, but this remains to be verified. In 109 BC, during the second year of Emperor Wu of Han's Yuanfeng era, Yizhou Prefecture was established, with its capital at Dianchi County (south of present-day Kunming), governing 24 counties including Guchang. In 225 AD, during the third year of the Jianxing era of the Shu Han dynasty, it became Guchang County, under the jurisdiction of Jianning Prefecture. The site of the ancient city of Guchang during the Shu Han dynasty is suspected to be in the central part of present-day Kunming, around the area of Yunnan Education Institute (formerly known as Huangtupo), but this remains to be verified. During the Western Jin dynasty, it was renamed Jinning Prefecture, and during the Sui and early Tang dynasties, it was Kunzhou. The city of Kunzhou is suspected to be in present-day Kunyang, south of Kunming, but this remains to be verified. In 765 AD, the Nanzhao Kingdom of the Tang Dynasty built Tuodong City on the north bank of Dianchi Lake (located in the area of present-day Tuodong Road in the southeast of Kunming city), and established the Tuodong Military Governor. During the Dali Kingdom of the Song Dynasty, it was Shanshan Prefecture. Shanshan City expanded westward from the foundation of Tuodong City. During the Yuan Dynasty, it was Zhongqing Road. In 1276, the "Yunnan Provincial Government" was established in Kunming, making it the political and cultural center of Yunnan. Zhongqing City occupied the western part of Shanshan City and expanded northward to Wuhua Mountain. In 1382, the Ming Dynasty changed Zhongqing Road to Yunnan Prefecture, a system continued by the Qing Dynasty. The city of Yunnan Prefecture occupied the northern part of Zhongqing City and expanded eastward, northward, and westward, extending northward to the area of present-day Yunnan University. Kunming City was established in 1928, and the Kunming Municipal People's Government was established in March 1950. As the largest city at the junction of China and Yunnan, it has mysterious legends and charming scenery. With its spring-like climate all year round, Kunming also has another beautiful name: Spring City.

Kunming is a great tourist destination, but Hong Dafa had no interest in sightseeing. Stepping off the train and onto the platform, he saw a luxurious Mercedes-Benz S600 parked prominently at the exit, with a ruddy-faced man nearing sixty standing beside it.

"Fa-zai!" the man exclaimed excitedly, waving his hands.

Hong Dafa felt a surge of inexplicable excitement: he hadn't expected Zhang Honggui, Yunnan's richest man, to personally drive to pick him up. How could he not be moved? He quickly walked towards Zhang Honggui, and the two embraced, patting each other on the back. Actually, what Hong Dafa was most anxious about were the two rough stones he possessed. He was determined not to sell the hand-shaped stone, nor to show it to anyone easily—this was his purpose in coming to Kunming to find Zhang Honggui.

After the two finished their intimacy, Hong Dafa was about to ask about the jade gambling, but Zhang Honggui spoke first, saying, "Fa-zai, let's not talk about that today. Let's go to my place first, I'll treat you to a welcome feast."

The car was good, the road was good, and the driver was skilled; they soon arrived at Zhang Honggui's villa near Dianchi Lake…

A dozen burly men in black suits emerged from the villa, leading a beautiful young woman in her early twenties. It's said that the waters of Dianchi Lake in Kunming nurture beauties, and indeed, she was a celestial beauty. Her flawless white halter dress accentuated her stunningly beautiful face, with willow-leaf eyebrows and phoenix eyes… With a delicate nose and peach-like cheeks, her slightly full, red lips added to her sensuality, reminiscent of Elizabeth Taylor or Hong Kong star Shu Qi. Her alluring sexiness was captivating; her full, high breasts strained against her dress, revealing a deep cleavage that stirred the imagination. Her slender waist and shapely hips were perfectly proportioned, exuding an air of elegance and grace, yet also possessing a quiet, virtuous, proud, and aloof beauty. Her eyes sparkled with a captivating light, displaying both the allure of a beautiful young woman and the playful charm of a youthful girl. Hong Dafa was momentarily stunned, only snapping out of his daze when Zhang Honggui called him. But Zhang Honggui had already noticed his expression, a strange smile playing on his lips.

"Daddy, where have you been?" the beautiful woman cried, throwing herself into Zhang Honggui's arms, but her beautiful eyes kept glancing at Hong Dafa.

"Alright, little girl, be good." Zhang Honggui patted his daughter's soft shoulder affectionately. "Don't let the guests laugh at you."

"Ugh, you're so annoying."

"Come on, Fa-zai, let me introduce you." Zhang Honggui took his daughter's little hand and said, "This is my daughter, Yuqian." "

Miss Yuqian, hello, my name is Hong Dafa." Hong Dafa extended his hand very politely.

"Brother Hong, hello! Don't call me Miss, just call me Yuqian." Zhang Yuqian placed her little hand in Hong Dafa's.

Hong Dafa's heart skipped a beat: soft and boneless, delicate and smooth, he really didn't want to let go, but having lived in Hong Kong for several years, he was very gentlemanly, he gently held the little hand for a moment, and then let go.

Zhang Honggui had always worried about his daughter, always wanting to find her a stable and reliable man, but unexpectedly, Hong Dafa suddenly came here, and the weight in his heart was finally lifted. He knew Hong Dafa very well. From the age of fifteen, Zhang Honggui had always had high hopes for this tough-looking but sensitive boy, knowing that he would one day achieve great things…

004. [Wealth and Beauty]

A lavish welcome banquet was of course indispensable, but only three people were present: Zhang Honggui and his daughter, and Hong Dafa.

Zhang Honggui was particularly happy today, most importantly: his daughter's marriage prospects were promising. He could tell that his daughter was very interested in Hong Dafa, and Hong Dafa also had feelings for his daughter. Based on his understanding of Hong Dafa, the thirty-something Hong Dafa had never been moved by any woman before. Today, upon first seeing Yuqian, he felt such affection. He believed in the old saying: fate is a blessing from a previous life. It seemed that Fa Zai was already his son-in-law, a matter of course.

After dinner, Zhang Honggui and Hong Dafa chatted for a while. Zhang Honggui did most of the talking, and Hong Dafa answered. Zhang Yuqian, sitting beside him, blinked her beautiful eyes at Hong Dafa. She thought that her father's friend, though imposing in appearance, was actually very sensitive and steady inside, and must be a very responsible man to his family… Thinking this, her heart inexplicably raced, and her face flushed. She glanced at her father and Hong Dafa, and realizing they hadn't noticed her expression, she slowly calmed her pounding heart. After

a while, Zhang Honggui seemed a little tired and said to Zhang Yuqian, "Yuqian, Dad's a little tired and needs to rest. Why don't you show Fazai around the villa?"

Actually, Zhang Honggui had already noticed his daughter's growing impatience, so he simply made up an excuse to let the two of them have some alone time to develop their relationship.

No sooner had Zhang Honggui finished speaking than Zhang Yuqian grabbed Hong Dafa's hand and said excitedly, "Brother Hong, let's go see the back garden! It's full of beautiful flowers."

"This, this!!" Hong Dafa looked at Zhang Honggui somewhat awkwardly.

"Go ahead! I'm really tired. You young people have a lot in common, but I, an old man, can't really connect with you." Zhang Honggui laughed heartily and went upstairs to his study.

...

And so, the rough stone that Hong Dafa had seen in his dream and obtained was bought by an unnamed world-class billionaire from the United States for thirty million US dollars. After more than three hours of cutting the stone, it was indeed a piece of top-quality jade inside. If it were carefully polished by jade experts, its price would far exceed thirty million US dollars. During the two months he spent in Kunming, Hong Dafa's composure and calmness won Zhang Yuqian's heart. Zhang Honggui also married his daughter to Hong Dafa, his real intention being for Hong Dafa to take over his company and run it well. However, Hong Dafa refused to agree. Finally, a compromise was reached: on Zhang Honggui's sixtieth birthday, Hong Dafa would take over all the company's affairs. Hong Dafa agreed, and so he came here with his wife Zhang Yuqian and the thirty million US dollars he had won from gambling on the stone, running a fairly large restaurant.

After inviting a group of important guests into a private room, Hong Dafa took his leave and went to the back hall, where he saw the child sitting at the dining table. Seeing the untouched food on the table, he asked in bewilderment, "Why aren't you eating?"

"Uncle, I see you're quite busy, you must not have eaten either. I'm waiting for you to eat together."

Hong Dafa was deeply moved: a small act of kindness should be repaid with great gratitude. This young man was just like that. He said, "Don't call me uncle, just call me big brother!"

"This, this isn't quite right!"

"Don't worry, what you said earlier is useless. Just consider me your cousin."

"Okay, big brother, please come and eat too."

"Alright, let's eat together."

The two ate together. Hong Dafa noticed that he wasn't wolfing down his food, but rather quite refined, with the demeanor of a Western European gentleman. He didn't want to ask anything, but human nature—curiosity—made him ask, "Young man, what's your name?"

"Big brother, my name is Zhuge Mugua, you can just call me Mugua."

"Mugua?!" Hong Dafa pondered the peculiar name. He knew there was a local custom: a name with auspicious connotations made a child easier to raise.

"Brother Mugua, my name is Hong Dafa. From now on, you can call me Brother Hong." Hong Dafa thought for a moment and decided he should ask about his background. "Where are your parents?"

"I'm an orphan," Zhuge Mugua said in a low voice.

"Oh!" Hong Dafa felt a pang of sadness; he was also an orphan, and he understood the bitterness and hardship of orphanhood. "Brother, then, then you'll live with me."

"Master."

"Ah! Brother, we're in the same boat." Hong Dafa paused, then continued, "Brother, you're my good brother. After dinner, come home with me and meet your sister-in-law. She's very kind and good to everyone."

"Thank you, Brother." Zhuge Mugua then added, "Brother, since I don't have anything to do, I'll help out at your restaurant. Is that alright?" "

Of course you can. You can't stay at home, you can't stay here. Do you understand what I mean?"

"Understood." Zhuge Mugua nodded in agreement without asking further questions.

Actually, the basement of Hong Dafa's restaurant was a large jade gambling den. Although he didn't participate in jade gambling himself, he had many regular clients who would ask him to inspect any rough stones available for sale. The price was prohibitive for most people; Hong Dafa charged one million yuan for each inspection, and he also took a 1% commission on any successful inspection. Therefore, his place had become a notorious black market for jade gambling in Wuhan. He certainly didn't want his newly acquainted young friend to enter this business. This industry is not only dangerous but also risks offending underworld figures, potentially leading to death. However, having entered this field, there was no turning back. After returning from Kunming that year, he considered quitting the jade gambling industry, but his reputation as a jade expert left him with no way out. He had been back in Wuhan for over a year, and thanks to his calm and composed demeanor, he was respected by both the legitimate and criminal worlds, and hadn't encountered any particularly troublesome situations.

After finishing their meal, Hong Dafu and Zhuge Mugua got into Hong Dafu's BMW and left the restaurant.

005. [Papaya Feels Like She's Home]

The BMW drove for about half an hour before stopping in front of a high-end villa.

Hong Dafa glanced at Zhuge Mugua out of the corner of his eye. Just like when he first saw it, he didn't show any overwhelming joy at the sight of the luxurious villa. Instead, he calmly looked at the elegant yet understated villa. Hong Dafa felt even more admiration for this young man he hadn't known for long: facing such a luxurious villa, and even though his own car was a custom-made BMW worth over a million yuan, none of this moved this unassuming young man. It seemed this young man was content with his lot, indifferent to material pursuits, and instead seeking a spiritual life and enjoyment.

"Papaya, come in. This is my home, and it will be your home too."

"Thank you, brother," Zhuge Mugua said calmly. "Brother, is your wife still at work?"

"A little while," Hong Dafa glanced at his watch. "Let's go in!"

Zhuge Mugua followed Hong Dafa into the living room. He wasn't stunned by the luxurious decorations; he simply glanced around indifferently. "

Mugua, what would you like to drink?"

"Oh, water's fine with me."

Hong Dafa took a chilled bottle of mineral water from the refrigerator and handed it to Zhuge Mugua, then plopped down next to him and chugged a can of ice-cold beer.

"Mugua, when your sister-in-law gets back, she'll tidy up your room. And she's a great cook; I can finally enjoy a delicious meal."

"Really?" Zhuge Mugua asked excitedly.

Hong Dafa was about to speak when he heard a car horn outside. He quickly put down his beer on the coffee table, practically jumping off the sofa, and grabbed Zhuge Mugua's hand, saying happily, "Mugua, your sister-in-law's back!" Hong

Dafa and Zhuge Mugua went outside and saw a red Ferrari parked there. A stunningly beautiful young woman stood there looking at Hong Dafa, but her eyes kept glancing at Zhuge Mugua beside him, her meaning quite clear: who was this young man?

Zhuge Mugua carefully examined Zhang Yuqian. Although she had given birth, her body had become increasingly voluptuous with age, her curvaceous figure and full breasts particularly eye-catching; her round, beautiful buttocks arched gracefully upwards, tightly cleaving the lines of her underwear, her still flat stomach and plump buttocks exuding the charm of a young woman in her prime. Her fair face was flushed, full of... With a youthful charm, her eyes seemed to hold the allure of autumn water, and a faint smile always graced her lips, making her appear much younger than her actual age. Standing over 1.6 meters tall, with shoulder-length, permed hair, she wore sheer flesh-colored stockings that encased her long, fair legs, outlining her full curves—a combination of voluptuousness, delicate beauty, and sensuality. Between her long, rounded thighs, a glimpse of white underwear beneath her short skirt hinted at a tempting allure that stirred a man's

heart. The joy and excitement in her voice made her even more charming and endearing, evoking a sense of tenderness. Zhuge Mugua felt a tremor in his heart; he sensed a distant yet familiar quality about Zhang Yuqian.

"Yuqian, let me introduce you," Hong Dafa said, pulling Zhuge Mugua forward. "This is my newly acquainted brother, Zhuge Mugua. You can call him Mugua."

"Brother Mugua, just call me Sister Yuqian, not sister-in-law!" "Zhang Yuqian said with a smile.

Zhuge Mugua felt as if she were bathed in a spring breeze and quickly said, "Hello, Sister Yuqian."

Zhang Yuqian took Hong Dafa's arm and pulled Zhuge Mugua along, saying, "Come on, Mugua, I'll cook some of my best dishes for you today."

"Thank you, Sister Yuqian."

Zhuge Mugua looked at the table full of delicious-looking dishes, her stomach rumbling with anticipation, wishing she could reach out and grab them.

Seeing Zhuge Mugua's greedy expression, Zhang Yuqian smiled and giggled, "Stop looking, eat up!"

Zhuge Mugua scratched her head sheepishly, picked up her chopsticks, and quickly stuffed food into her mouth…

Just then, Hong Dafa's phone rang.

Hong Dafa took out his phone, glanced at it, and said, "Yuqian, Mugua, you two enjoy your meal. I need to take this call." With that, he took his phone and went to his study.

"Ah Dai, what's up?"

"Boss, someone came with a strangely shaped rough stone and asked for ten million."

"What kind of person is he? Is he connected to the underworld?"

"I don't think so, but this rough stone seems particularly strange... and the person was with a large group of people, so they don't seem to be righteous..."

"What's so strange about it?"

"This rough stone emits a strange luster, and its texture is dark, faintly exuding a sinister aura."

Ah Dai had been following Hong Dafa for over two years, and had learned about 70% of Hong Dafa's stone appraisal skills. He could identify ordinary rough stones at a glance. Based on the simple description over the phone, Hong Dafa also felt that this rough stone must be problematic, and it might be the kind of black jade his master had mentioned, also known as ink jade.

Black jade is a precious and rare natural resource, found only in the northern mountainous area of Fuping County, Shaanxi Province. It is renowned for its deep color, smooth texture, fine grain, jet-black color, and lustrous finish. With a hardness of approximately 40 Mohs, it has long been considered a superior material for inkstone making and carving. Ancient people compared it to diamonds, gemstones, and colored stones, referring to it as a "precious and beautiful stone."

Mining of black jade in Fuping, Shaanxi, dates back to the Qin and Han dynasties. According to county records, "The county produces ore in the north, attracting miners from various counties. It can be used for carving and polishing, and is known as black jade." Fuping is also a famous "hometown of stone carving" in China. Fuping black jade and its works have a glorious history in Chinese civilization. The Xi'an Stele Forest, known as the largest treasure trove of stone carving art in China, houses more than 1,700 cultural relics, of which more than 80% are made of Fuping black jade. Qin Li Si's "Yishan Stele", Eastern Han Heyang's "Cao Quan Stele", Ouyang Xun's "Huangfu Dan Stele", Yan Zhenqing's "Duobao Pagoda", Liu Gongquan's "Xuanmi Pagoda"... are considered the treasures of the museum. To this day, whether it is replicating steles or carving contemporary calligraphy by famous calligraphers, the provincial museum uses stones from Fuping and is carved by folk artists from Fuping.

The Qin Chuan Plain in central Shaanxi is known as an "open-air stone carving art museum." The numerous large-scale sculptures, statues, and hitching posts, from the 15-meter-high and 40-ton Huabiao at Qiaoling Mausoleum to the mysterious wordless stele in front of Qianling Mausoleum, as well as the national treasure "Six Steeds of Zhaoling," are all made of Fuping black jade. Li Yindu, a Hanlin scholar in the Qing Dynasty, wrote in his "Tang Mausoleum Black Jade": "The towering desert rises in millions of layers. In the middle period of the Tang Dynasty, various mausoleums were built. Green sand dunes and black jade were carved in succession, and the brilliance of seal script can be seen everywhere."

Hong Dafa snapped back to reality and hurriedly replied, "Adai, wait for me, I'll be right there. Make sure to keep that person calm."

"Okay!"

006. [The Evil Spirit of Ink Jade]

Hong Dafa arrived at the dining room and saw Zhuge Mugua eating. His mannerisms were strikingly similar to when he first ate Yuqian's cooking, and he couldn't help but laugh happily. "Mugua, I wasn't wrong, was I?"

"Brother, you should eat too." Zhuge Mugua smiled awkwardly.

"Dafa, Mugua is just like you now." Zhang Yuqian laughed even harder. "Who called just now?"

"Oh, it was Adai. I have to go out for a bit."

"Come back soon." Zhang Yuqian walked to Hong Dafa's side and gently smoothed his collar.

"It's alright," Hong Dafa said, looking at the bewildered Zhuge Mugua. "Mugua, I have to go to the restaurant. We brothers will chat all night when I get back."

"Brother, please come back soon." Zhuge Mugua suddenly felt his heart pounding. Subconsciously, he knew something serious was about to happen, so he said cautiously, "Brother, it's dark on the road, be careful."

"Oh." Hong Dafa didn't take Zhuge Mugua's particularly serious words, "It's dark on the road, be careful," to heart, and went out.

"Sister Yuqian, brother left in such a hurry, won't he..." Zhuge Mugua said anxiously to Zhang Yuqian.

"It's alright, your brother has always been like this, nothing will happen," Zhang Yuqian said. "Mugua, I'll tidy up your room, eat slowly, make sure you eat your fill."

"Okay." Zhuge Mugua wanted to say what was on his mind, but the words stuck in his throat.

Hong Dafa rushed to the restaurant, his heart pounding.

They arrived in just over ten minutes. Before the car had even come to a complete stop, Hong Dafa got out. Ah Dai was already waiting for him at the entrance.

"Boss, you're finally here!" Ah Dai's face showed a hint of panic.

Hong Dafa had already noticed the change in Ah Dai's expression and said in a deep voice, "Ah Dai, in our line of work, the most important thing is to be calm and collected. How can you achieve anything like this?"

"Yes, yes," Ah Dai replied.

"Come on, take me inside and see what kind of people they are."

The two walked to a private room called Lotus. Hong Dafa casually pressed a switch on the wall, and a hidden door opened next to the TV cabinet.

Hong Dafa went in first and immediately saw a number of people standing on both sides of the aisle. Some were his own brothers, and some were burly men with bulging waists, clearly armed. Hong Dafa couldn't help but frown. Although he wasn't afraid of these people, this was his territory, and even the fiercest dragon couldn't suppress a local snake.

After walking for more than ten minutes, they arrived at an underground hall more than twenty meters above the ground. He turned to Ah Dai and asked, "Which room are they in?"

"Boss, they're in the VIP room."

"Hmm."

As soon as Hong Dafa entered, he saw a pale-faced, lean man in his thirties sitting on the sofa opposite him. Beside him stood two burly men, each at least two meters tall, with bulging waists.

Before Hong Dafa could approach, the lean man stood up from the sofa and quickly walked to Hong Dafa, extending his right hand and saying, "My name is Zhao Jieming. You must be Mr. Hong." "

I've heard so much about you, Mr. Zhao. I am Hong Dafa. Are you here to appraise jade?"

"Indeed."

"Mr. Zhao, please have a seat." After the two sat down... Hong Dafa didn't waste any words and went straight to the point, "I heard that the rough stone Mr. Zhao has is quite expensive."

"Good, straightforward. Mr. Hong is indeed a quick-witted person, worthy of being a leader in the industry." After Zhao Jieming finished speaking, he clapped his hands, and the burly man on the left placed an antique sandalwood box on the coffee table in front of the two of them.

Instantly, Hong Dafa felt a unique spiritual energy rushing into his spiritual sea, but this spiritual energy also carried a baleful aura. Hong Dafa couldn't help but feel a stir in his heart. He had seen all kinds of rough stones with baleful auras, but the baleful aura brought by this rough stone was incomparable to that of this stone. He glanced at Zhao Jieming without showing any emotion.

Zhao Jieming understood Hong Dafa's meaning and signaled his subordinates to open the box.

Just as Ah Dai had said, it was a strangely shaped rough stone. Based on his years of experience, Hong Dafa immediately recognized that it contained a piece of top-quality black jade. However, he couldn't fathom why it emitted such a strong aura of malevolence. He shifted his gaze to Zhao Jieming and asked, "Mr. Zhao, are you the owner of this rough stone?"

"Yes." Zhao Jieming knew Hong Dafa's principles for appraising stones, which was why he had come straight here from Wuhan. He valued Hong Dafa's character in appraising stones, not anything else.

"Mr. Zhao, you should know that I've retired from the trade. I'm just a middleman now."

"Mr. Hong, I understand what you mean?" Mr. Zhao paused, then added, "I think Mr. Hong can see the weight and value of this rough stone, right?"

"Of course I can, and this rough stone contains a piece of top-quality jade." Hong Dafa didn't directly reveal the origin of the rough stone, which was a clever move on his part.

“Alright, Mr. Hong, you’re a man of few words. I have three conditions, I wonder if Mr. Hong can fulfill them? If you can, I’ll give you this rough stone, and consider it a token of our friendship.”

“Mr. Zhao, what are the conditions?”

“First, you must be able to describe the texture of the rough stone; second, its origin; third, its market price.” Zhao Jieming said with a smile.

“Okay, I can agree to all three conditions, but I cannot accept the rough stone. I will help Mr. Zhao find a buyer.”

“That won’t do. My word is my bond.”

“Well, alright then.” Through the previous exchange, Mr. Hong had gained a preliminary understanding of Zhao Jieming: a man from Shaanxi, and judging from his men, he was likely from the largest gang in Northwest China—the Northwest Wolves.

Hong Dafu took the rough stone out of the box and examined it carefully, closing his eyes to slowly sense the spiritual energy emanating from within. However, that spiritual energy carried a strong malevolent aura. If it were someone else examining the stone, they might have had their spiritual sea shattered by the malevolent energy, causing their seven orifices to bleed and them to die on the spot.

"This raw stone comes from Fuping County, Shaanxi Province." Hong Dafa paused slightly, glanced at Zhao Jieming, and continued, "Fuping County is located in the northern part of the Guanzhong Plain, 69 kilometers south of Xi'an. To the north of the county lies the Qiaoshan Mountain Range, which spans over 100 kilometers and accounts for more than 22% of the county's area. It has an Ordovician geological structure and contains a precious and rare natural resource. According to the Fuping County Annals, 'The north of the county produces minerals, attracting miners from all counties. These minerals can be inscribed and carved, and are known as 'black jade.' The 'Fuping Regional Map' in the Fuping County Library also states, 'Phoenix Mountain produces black jade, also known as Qing jade, which has been used throughout history.' This stone has a hardness of 40 Mohs, a deep color, a smooth texture, fine grain, and is jet black like ink. It is lustrous and highly renowned, truly a superior material for architecture and sculpture."

"Excellent, excellent, excellent! Mr. Hong is indeed one of the best in the industry. I am so glad to have met a master of stone appraisal like Mr. Hong today."

"Today's black jade is tomorrow's cultural relic! In terms of value, it can be said to be priceless."

"Good, good, good. Mr. Hong, I've decided to be your friend. This rough stone is yours for the taking."

"Mr. Zhao, how can that be?" Hong Dafa pondered for a moment and said, "How about this, Mr. Zhao, I'll buy it for ten million?"

"This, this won't do. I said I would..."

"Mr. Zhao, if I do this, we'll still be friends. If you can't even meet this small request, how am I supposed to survive in this industry?"

"Alright then, it's up to you, Mr. Hong."

Hong Dafa was also decisive, taking out a check and immediately writing out a check for ten million and handing it to Zhao Jieming.

Zhao Jieming didn't even look at the check, and casually handed it to the burly man next to him: "Mr. Hong, you're a good friend, loyal and righteous. I've decided to be your friend. This is my business card."

Hong Dafa took the business card and felt its weight. He knew that this business card must be made of pure gold, which ordinary people wouldn't have, and wouldn't casually give to someone they'd just met.

007. [The Bloodthirsty Aura of the Killing Jade]

After sending Zhao Jieming and his group of over twenty people away, Hong Dafa went to his car. He glanced at the box beside him; the murderous aura, imbued with spiritual energy, was relentlessly assaulting his spiritual sea. He could no longer bear it, and suddenly spat out a mouthful of blood. He knew his time was running out. He knew that anyone who obtained this kind of raw stone would be unable to control it without extraordinary abilities—that was only one aspect. Another was that this raw stone would attract deadly danger. Gangsters, in particular, would stop at nothing to obtain it, and what would the consequences be?

Hong Dafa didn't have time to think further and sped off towards the suburbs.

There, he had a most secret place, known only to himself. He hadn't even told Zhang Yuqian, fearing it would bring him death. Ever since he bought that residence, he'd had a strange premonition: one day, he would meet with misfortune. He hadn't expected this prediction to come so suddenly, catching him somewhat off guard. But being a man who had weathered many storms, he still drove steadily and sped along.

Thirty minutes later, he stopped in front of a two-story villa with a detached house.

Hong Dafa wasn't a newcomer to society. He was constantly driving in circles, taking detours that should have taken only ten minutes. To check for any following vehicles, he circled the outer ring highway a couple of times. Seeing no one was following him, he turned the car around and sped off in his intended direction…

Hong Dafa quickly reached the second floor and stopped in front of a bookshelf in the study. Somehow, the bookshelf slid to one side with a creak, revealing a large safe…

He felt no excitement, no thrill; only a strange terror. He carefully placed the rough stone, finally calming himself slightly. He sat at his desk, quietly pondering. The entire incident flashed through his mind like a movie: nothing seemed amiss. However, he couldn't rule out the possibility of local gangs trying to steal the stone.

Thinking this, he took out his phone to call Zhang Yuqian at home, but the phone rang unexpectedly. He instinctively knew this was a bloody call.

"Hello, what's up?"

"Boss, something bad has happened. There are some out-of-towners causing trouble here." It was Ah-Dai calling again.

"Why?"

"I don't know, anyway... anyway, they're up to no good."

Hong Da-fa could hear the fear in Ah-Dai's voice, even more so than before. He knew they had finally arrived. He said to Ah-Dai on the phone, "Ah-Dai, don't worry about these things. Get out of there quickly, the farther the better, do you understand what I mean?"

"Understood." Ah-Dai wasn't stupid; he could hear the seriousness in his boss's tone. "Boss, take care of yourself too." Ah-Dai hung up after saying that.

Hong Da-fa finally understood. Those out-of-towners had been following Zhao Jie-ming all the way here, but they didn't dare to make a move. Instead, they were after the raw stone. He understood that this was a struggle between gangsters...

He didn't have time to think about it further and immediately called Zhang Yu-qian at home: "Yu-qian, are you asleep?" His tone was very gentle, showing no sign of the impending danger. Actually, he was doing this to put Zhang Yu-qian at ease.

"Da-fa, why aren't you back yet?" Zhang Yu-qian said coquettishly.

"I'm taking care of some things at the company, I'll be back soon." Hong Dafa paused for a moment and then asked, "Is Mugua resting?"

"No, he's still watching TV in the living room."

"Okay, let him answer the phone, I have something to say."

"Okay, wait a minute, I'll go to the living room to call Mugua."

A short while later, Hong Dafa heard Mugua's voice on the phone: "Brother, what's wrong?"

"Mugua, don't say anything. Just listen to your brother now, don't ask anything, understand?"

"Okay."

Zhuge Mugua could tell that Hong Dafa's tone was unusually serious. He knew that the inexplicable unease he felt when Hong Dafa left must mean that something had happened to his brother.

"Brother, do three things for your brother."

Zhuge Mugua didn't speak on the other end of the phone, but waited quietly for Hong Dafa to continue. "Brother, first, you and your sister Yuqian should leave here immediately. Second, go to villa number so-and-so in so-and-so neighborhood and take your things with you. Third, bring your Yuqian back to our hometown in Kunming, the sooner the better."

"Brother, don't worry! But what is it? Maybe Mugua can help you."

"No, I can't let Yuqian and you get hurt. Listen to your brother."

"Then... alright then."

Hong Dafa hung up the phone and slowly sat down to calm down and think carefully about what to do next.

...

Hong Dafa had already devised a plan for how to handle the situation, and it took him nearly an hour to go downstairs and get into his car...

He didn't follow the route he came from to his restaurant, but instead chose another road, circling around several times before finally entering the city. By then, it was already past ten o'clock at night.

When Hong Dafa entered the restaurant lobby, he realized that things were indeed getting difficult; the five or six out-of-towners were already causing quite a scene.

Hong Dafa could tell at a glance that these men were not respectable people, but rather scum from some underworld organization. He wondered what their purpose was in coming here. So he walked over and politely said, "Gentlemen, what brings you here? I am the owner."

"You're the owner?" One of the burly men walked up to Hong Dafa and carefully sized him up.

"Indeed, sir. What is your surname?"

"My surname is Wang, Wang Degang." He paused for a moment and said, "What is your surname, boss?"

"So you are Mr. Wang." Hong Dafa's heart skipped a beat. Although he was not involved in the underworld, he still knew about some of the larger gangs. This Wang Degang was the "Northwest Wolf," the second largest gang in the Northwest after the largest. He was quite powerful. He immediately understood the reason. It was a case of gangsters killing gangsters. They must have come for that piece of black jade. Thinking this, Hong Dafa said calmly, "Mr. Wang, please sit down. May I ask what brings you here?"

"Alright, Mr. Hong is straightforward. I'll get straight to the point." Wang Degang didn't mince words and asked directly, "Has someone brought a piece of black jade rough?"

Hong Dafa knew what was coming, so he didn't lie and said, "A Mr. Zhao has entrusted me to auction that rough stone."

"Good, good, Mr. Hong is a good friend. How about this, I'll bid 30 million for this rough stone?"

"Mr. Wang, you know our rules here. Our restaurant only holds auctions once a week. We would definitely like you to attend..."

"No, I don't participate in the auction. I want the rough stone now, and it's a cash transaction." After Wang Degang finished speaking, he winked at a burly man next to him.

A burly man, over 1.9 meters tall, placed a large combination lock suitcase on the desk, opened it with a "snap," and pushed it in front of Hong Dafa.

Hong Dafa didn't need to look to know that it was full of money. Sure enough, it was full of hundred-yuan bills.

"Mr. Hong, here's thirty million. Please count it."

Hong Dafa casually picked up a stack of money, glanced at it, and tossed it back into the briefcase. He slowly said, "Mr. Wang, to be honest, you know the rules of the industry, right?"

"Mr. Hong, I do know a little about the rules, but I'm determined to have this rough stone today."

Actually, Hong Dafa was stalling for time. He knew this man was up to no good and wouldn't give up until he got the stone. His mind raced, trying to figure out how to get rid of these people.

"I can't make that decision. I'm just the organizer. The stone isn't in my custody. I'm just a client, someone else entrusted me with it. I can't make that decision." "

I do know a bit about the jade gambling industry. If I don't get the stone today, I won't be able to explain myself. I hope Mr. Hong will inform the seller. " "

Now that things have come to this, Hong Dafa finally understands: it's a turf war between two gangs. But regarding that rough stone, Hong Dafa knows very well that it's not just ordinary black jade; it must contain something strange. Otherwise, why would it possess such a strong, bloodthirsty aura?

Thinking of this, Hong Dafa is even more unwilling to sell the rough stone to Wang Degang. He thought of a plan and said, 'Mr. Wang, I only have that gentleman's phone number. If you really want it, you can contact him directly. Is that alright?'

'Thank you!'

Wang Degang dialed the number Hong Dafa gave him…

A pleasant voice came from the other end: 'Hello, the number you dialed is currently switched off…'

Wang Degang frowned and said, 'The other party's phone is switched off. Does Mr. Hong know where that person lives? I'd like to meet with that gentleman in person.'

Hong Dafa really didn't know where Zhao Jieming lived, so he could only apologize and say, 'Mr. Wang, to be honest, I really don't know which hotel that person is staying at.'" "

Wang Degang said with some disappointment, "Boss Hong, I'm so sorry to have bothered you!"

"You're welcome!"

...

Hong Dafu watched these people leave before returning to the sofa in the lobby. Suddenly, he felt his eyelids twitching inexplicably. His intuition told him: Something's wrong!

He jumped up and shouted at the lobby staff, "Run!"

Before he finished speaking, he felt a tremor run through his body, followed by a huge explosion, and then he knew nothing more.

008. [Yu Qian and Mu Gua Run Away Overnight]

When Zhang Yuqian received Hong Dafa's call, she knew something was wrong. When Zhuge Mugua said they were leaving and taking all the valuables, she wasn't surprised, but her heart was bleeding. She had to swallow her tears; she knew she couldn't show any sadness now, otherwise Mugua, a sixteen or seventeen-year-old boy, would panic. She didn't know which gang her husband had offended.

Zhang Yuqian also knew they were in trouble and had to leave quickly. She and Zhuge Mugua packed their things, and then Zhang Yuqian drove to the location Hong Dafa had given her on the phone, loading everything from the safe into the car. Without wasting any time, they sped towards the city. Just as they left the city and entered the highway exit, a huge explosion was heard, and a burst of flames shot up, visible even from a distance. The flames reached Hong Dafa's restaurant, and the piercing fire alarm blared throughout the three towns of Wuhan.

"Dafa, may you rest in peace!" "Zhang Yuqian silently murmured to herself, tears welling up in her eyes without her noticing.

"Sister Yuqian, don't be sad. Big Brother is gone just like that. Mugua will definitely wipe those who harmed Big Brother from this world." Zhuge Mugua handed Zhang Yuqian a tissue. Zhang Yuqian pulled the car over to the side and wiped away her tears.

"Mugua!" Zhang Yuqian looked at Zhuge Mugua and realized that Zhuge Mugua was even more grief-stricken than she was. Her bloodshot eyes shone with an eerie light, and Mugua's hands were clenched tightly. She looked no better than herself.

Without a long stop or much sorrow, the red Ferrari sped onto the highway leading to Kunming, Yunnan…

After driving for an unknown amount of time, Mu Gua felt something was wrong. The road ahead seemed strange, and she quickly said to Zhang Yuqian, “Sister Yuqian, something’s wrong. It feels like we’ve entered a maze.”

“Really? The car is going very fast, consistently at 150 kilometers per hour.”

“Sister Yuqian, there isn’t a single car around. Have we taken the wrong road?”

Zhang Yuqian carefully looked around and indeed saw no cars. Normally, this road would be busiest at this time of year, with many coal trucks from Sichuan to Wuhan passing through, but today there were none, which was odd.

“Sister Yuqian, stop the car. I’ll get out and check. What’s wrong?”

“No, that would be too dangerous. I’m coming too.”

Zhang Yuqian spoke decisively, parking the car and getting out with Zhuge Mu Gua.

Sure enough, this was no longer a highway, but a vast expanse of white fog. There were only two people and a car, and nothing could be seen around them...

Where exactly was this place?

Could it be that they had traveled through time and space to another world?

Where were they now?

Zhang Yuqian pondered these questions, but she still couldn't guess where she was. Besides, women are naturally timid, so she couldn't help but move closer to Mugua.

Zhuge Mugua seemed to sense Zhang Yuqian's fear. Without thinking, he reached out and tightly grasped her cold, delicate hands, comforting her, "Sister Yuqian, don't be afraid. With Mugua here, nothing will harm you."

Zhang Yuqian's heart pounded as Zhuge Mugua's strong hands gripped her small hands. A strange shyness welled up within her, and a blush rose to her cheeks. She couldn't help but steal a glance at the serious-looking Zhuge Mugua. Seeing that he hadn't noticed her expression, she calmed her racing heart. At the same time, she inwardly berated herself: her husband, Hong Dafang, was now dead and his whereabouts unknown. She had let him down so badly. But the inexplicable shyness in her heart was overwhelming.

Soon, the white mist gradually dissipated, revealing a desolate wilderness surrounded by towering mountains, with no exit in sight.

"Papaya, what exactly is this place?" Zhang Yuqian blurted out, her delicate body involuntarily pressing even closer.

"This seems to be an ancient formation. I've seen a village like this in Zhuge Village in Fujian. The entire village was built by the descendants of Zhuge Liang of the Shu Kingdom during the Three Kingdoms period. This place is similar to that one, but there are some differences. I need to think about it carefully." After saying that, she closed her eyes and began to think quietly.

Zhang Yuqian already had a good impression of the brother Hong Dafa brought back. Upon first seeing him, her heart skipped a beat, like a young girl seeing her long-awaited prince charming…

After a long while, Zhuge Mugua opened his eyes. Seeing Zhang Yuqian clinging tightly to him, his heart also pounded. This was normal for a sixteen or seventeen-year-old boy, but he quickly suppressed his feelings and said softly, “Sister Yuqian, I understand now. This is truly the Bagua Formation left by Kongming.”

“Can we get out?”

“We should be able to,” Zhuge Mugua said firmly. “Sister Yuqian, let’s go in and take a look.”

Seeing Zhuge Mugua’s confidence, Zhang Yuqian’s fear lessened considerably, but she didn’t pull her hand away, letting Zhuge Mugua hold it tightly. After walking for about ten minutes, Zhuge Mugua stopped and said, "This is the core of the formation. Let's rest for a while before continuing on our way out." After saying this, Zhuge Mugua swept a large stone aside and let Zhang Yuqian sit down, while he stood beside her, seemingly on guard.

"Mugua, why don't you sit down and rest for a while?" Zhang Yuqian asked, looking at Zhuge Mugua standing there.

"Sister Yuqian is a girl, I'm a boy, it's alright."

"Princess!" Zhang Yuqian laughed when she saw Mugua's serious expression. "Little man, sit down quickly and tell your sister the story of this Bagua formation, okay?"

"Okay." Zhuge Mugua sat down as well.

"Sister Yuqian, have you read *Romance of the Three Kingdoms*?"

"Of course I have! It says that Zhuge Liang was knowledgeable in astronomy and geography, a rare talent of his time."

"Actually, Zhuge Liang was more than just that. His most famous military contribution was the Eight Trigrams Formation. That formation possessed the power to manipulate heaven and earth, and its unpredictable changes were beyond the comprehension of gods and ghosts; it was truly a colossal military formation rarely seen in the world."

"But *Romance of the Three Kingdoms* doesn't mention any of that!" Zhang Yuqian pouted, unconvinced.

Zhuge Mugua found Zhang Yuqian's girlish behavior quite charming, and her heart surged again, but she quickly restrained herself, saying, "Novels are novels, history is history, and history is written by people. In order to prevent the truth from being reflected, the ruling class can use its autocratic power to make it rewritten."

"I see." Zhang Yuqian seemed to understand a little, but curiosity drove her to want to know the deeper meaning, "Mugua, can you tell your sister?" 12-24 009, [The Unpredictable Eight Trigrams Formation]

Zhuge Mugua then told her everything she knew:

"According to the 'Biography of Zhuge Liang' in the 'Records of the Three Kingdoms, Shu Shu,' '(Liang) deduced military tactics and created the Eight Trigrams Formation.' Later generations examined its remains and drew a diagram, which can be found in the 'Treatise on Military Preparedness.' According to records, there are three locations for the Eight Trigrams Formation: the 'Commentary on the Mian River' in the 'Water Classic' and the 'Hanzhong Prefecture Gazetteer' say it is located southeast of Zhuge Liang's tomb in Mian County (now Mian County), Shaanxi; the 'Universal Records' says it is located on the south bank of the Yangtze River in Kuizhou (now Fengjie County), Sichuan; and the 'Ming Dynasty Unified Gazetteer' says it is located in Moumi Town, thirty li north of Xindu County, Sichuan."

"Mugua, you've read all these books?" Zhang Yuqian was surprised that Zhuge Mugua had read so many books at such a young age, and that he had a particular fondness for historical books.

“I loved reading these books when I was very young, so I remember quite a lot of them,” Zhuge Mugua continued. “It is said that Zhuge Liang’s Bagua formation was based on the Book of Changes. Its essence is to regard Heaven, Earth, and Man as a whole, connecting things of different qualities and states to explore their operating laws. Zhuge Liang paid great attention to the comprehensive consideration of Heaven, Earth, and Man when governing the country and using troops. In his ‘General’s Garden: Wisdom and Application’, he wrote: ‘Follow Heaven, adapt to the times, and rely on people to achieve victory.’ He emphasized that an excellent general should ‘know astronomy, observe human affairs, understand geography, and regard the whole world as his own home.’ The ‘General’s Garden: Military Equipment’ records: ‘There are three factors in the military strategy: Heaven, Earth, and Man. The Heavenly Factors are clear and bright Sun and Moon, the five planets in harmony, comets without harm, and harmonious winds. The Earthly Factors are steep walls and high cliffs, and great waves.’” A thousand miles, a secluded cave in a stone gate, a winding and fertile path. A ruler of great strength is a wise and virtuous general; the three armies follow propriety, the soldiers fight bravely, and provisions and armor are plentiful. A good general, by taking advantage of the timing of Heaven, the terrain, and the people's strengths, is invincible and his attacks are foolproof. This truly fully embodies the integrated concept of Heaven, Earth, and Man in the *I Ching*. Judging from the surviving works of Zhuge Liang, they not only involve the principles of the *I Ching* but also reveal Zhuge Liang's mastery of divination. For example, the *Commentary on the Yin Fu Jing* states: "Heaven displays signs, which the sages follow, deducing from the Jiazi (甲子) to draw the Eight Trigrams, examining the tortoise shell, and investigating the laws and calendar. Thus, the emotions of spirits and gods, the principles of Yin and Yang, are clearly revealed in the celestial phenomena, leaving nothing unexplained. The images of the Eight Trigrams are extended and applied, the sixty Jiazi are transformed and applied, the divine appears and the ghosts enter, all things are understood." The so-called "extension and application of the images of the Eight Trigrams" refers to the divination methods of the *I Ching*.

"Papaya, some books seem to say that this Bagua formation is just a name without substance?"

Zhuge Mugua shook his head and said, "Kongming's Eight Trigrams Formation is based on the art of Qimen Dunjia, divided into eight gates: Rest, Life, Injury, Block, View, Death, Shock, and Open. Its variations are endless, capable of matching 100,000 elite troops. The formation is named after Heaven, Earth, Wind, Cloud, Dragon, Tiger, Bird, and Snake, making nine major formations including the central army. The central army consists of sixteen smaller formations, and the surrounding eight formations each consist of six smaller formations, totaling sixty-four smaller formations. Among the eight formations, Heaven, Earth, Wind, and Cloud are the 'Four Cardinal Elements,' while Dragon (Azure Dragon), Tiger (White Tiger), Bird (Vermilion Bird), and Snake (Tengshe) are the 'Four Extraordinary Elements.' In addition, there are twenty-four formations deployed in the rear for maneuver. Sometimes, various natural materials such as boulders, trees, and mountains are arranged into the Eight Trigrams Formation to achieve a strategy of responding to all changes with unchanging principles."

Zhang Yuqian, being intelligent, immediately understood this and asked, "Are these eight gates eight totems?"

“Exactly.” Zhuge Mugua looked at Zhang Yuqian approvingly and continued, “First, the totems of horse, cow, sheep, and deer symbolically reflect the entire outline of the Earth’s continental plates. Specifically, North America is the head, South America is the forelegs, Baffin Island and the northeastern islands north of North America form the horns of the sheep and deer totems, and North America and Greenland form the horns of the cow. Eurasia, Africa, and Oceania are the outlines of the body. Among them, Eurasia is the back of the horse, cow, sheep, and deer; Africa is the udder of the horse, cow, sheep, and deer; West Siberia in Asia is the tail of the horse, cow, sheep, and deer; and Oceania is the hind hooves of the horse, cow, sheep, and deer. Qian (?) is the head of the horse; Kun (?) is the belly of the cow; Zhen (?) is the feet of the dragon; and Dui (?) is the mouth of the sheep.” "The attributes of the Bagua totem are reflected in the Earth's geographical features; secondly, the pig (or beast) and dog totems symbolically reflect the geographical structure of Africa as the head, Eurasia as the body, and West Siberia as the tail. Africa forms the head of the pig/dog, southern Africa as the nose, and northern Africa as the top of the head and ears. The Red Sea between Africa and Asia, and the Arabian Peninsula of Asia, form the mouth; Europe in Eurasia forms the front part of the pig/dog's body, and the Scandinavian Peninsula forms one of its feet; Asia constitutes the rear part of the pig/dog's body, and West Siberia forms its tail. The pig/dog totem faces south and has its back to the north, in a prone position." The image depicts a reclining posture. "Kan (坎) represents a pig's ear; Gen (艮) represents a dog's paw." The attributes of the Bagua (八卦) totems can also be reflected in the Earth's geographical environment. Thirdly, the chicken and pheasant totems symbolically represent Oceania as the head, the South Pacific islands of Asia as the neck, and the Indian Ocean section of the mid-ocean ridge as the connecting line between the neck and abdomen. The Eurasian continent and the eastern Asian continental shelf form the body, while Africa and western Siberia in eastern Asia form the wings—a geographical combination on Earth. The chicken and pheasant totems also show consistency with Earth's geography. According to the geographical structure or location reflected by the Bagua totems, we can see that "Qian (乾) represents a horse's head (North America)." The four trigrams, Gen, Xun, Dui, and Qian, are arranged in a cross shape from west to east around the Arctic and the Arctic Ocean. The trigrams represent the dragon, which, in the I Ching, is associated with the dragon. The dragon totem is represented by a massive underwater mountain range spanning tens of thousands of miles, connecting the continental plates, and is located across four major ocean systems: the Arctic Ocean, the Atlantic Ocean, the Indian Ocean, and the Pacific Ocean. The dragon totem is located in North America. The North Atlantic Ocean and the Arctic Ocean seabed lie between the Eurasian continent and the Pacific Ocean. Zhen (震), representing the dragon's foot, is located at the "入" (ru) shaped junction of the Indian Ocean mid-ocean ridge, resembling one foot of a dragon totem; Kun (坤), representing the ox's belly, is located on the African continent; Kan (坎), representing the pig's ear, refers to the Arabian Peninsula in Asia; Li (离), representing the pheasant's eye, is located on the seabed between Australia and New Zealand. The four trigrams Kun, Kan, Zhen, and Li are all geographically located adjacent to the Pacific, Indian, and South Pacific Oceans, respectively. This arrangement, centered on the South Pole, forms another set of trigrams in a "十" (shi) shape. This arrangement corresponds to the alternating and staggered pattern of the eight trigrams in the *I Ching* (Book of Changes), with Qian (乾), Xun (巽), and Gen (艮) in the same position, only Dui (兑) differing.

"Papaya, aren't these principles somewhat similar to the Buddhist concept of 'you are in me, I am in you, Buddha is me, I am Buddha'?"

"Yes, Taiji generates Yin and Yang, Yin and Yang generate the Four Symbols, and the Four Symbols and Eight Trigrams are based on the same principle." Zhuge Papaya pondered, "Life is death, death is life, emptiness is reality, reality is emptiness. If one takes a wrong step, it will be irreversible. What seems like a gate of life is actually a gate of death, and what seems like a gate of death is actually a gate to survival, but..."

"But what?" Zhang Yuqian asked, puzzled.

"But, this formation, I find it strange. The overall shape is an Eight Trigrams formation, but the inside is not, and it's difficult to distinguish which is the gate of life and which is the gate of death." Zhuge Papaya frowned.

"Then, then, how do we get out?" Zhang Yuqian asked worriedly.

"Sister Yuqian, don't worry, since it's a formation, there's always a way to break it, just different methods..."

Before Zhuge Mugua could finish speaking, a voice said...

010, [The Theory of the Formation's Core]

"Kid, you're right."

The two were startled by the sudden voice, especially Zhang Yuqian, who was terrified and clung tightly to Zhuge Mugua, her delicate body trembling uncontrollably.

"Sister Yuqian, don't be afraid, I'm here," Zhuge Mugua comforted her, becoming more vigilant and spreading the "Innate Primordial Qi Gong" he had practiced to his entire body, ready for any unexpected event. Although he had already used the "Innate Primordial Qi Gong" to check and had not found any other creatures, where was this voice coming from?

"May I ask, who exactly are you?"

"Boy, don't be in such a hurry to ask me who I am?" The voice paused and then continued, "Your name is Zhuge Mugua, an orphan, adopted by a couple from a small mountain village in northwestern Hunan surnamed Zhuge. When you were five years old, the couple passed away, and you were then adopted by a master from another world, where you learned unfathomable martial arts. The girl's name is Zhang Yuqian, the wife of Hong Dafu from Hankou Town, and the daughter of Zhang Honggui, the largest private entrepreneur in Yunnan." "

Ah?" The two were greatly surprised, especially Zhang Yuqian, who was even more astonished and couldn't help but ask, "How do you know?"

"Don't ask me why I know. That Mugua boy just revealed the reason."

"You...you are Kongming..." Zhuge Mugua stammered.

"You are a promising young man, indeed I am." The voice paused, and before the two could speak, continued, "I am the spirit of Zhuge Liang."

"Spirit? Where in this world are there spirits?" Zhang Yuqian no longer felt fear. Although she was an atheist and did not believe in gods or ghosts, this "person" could describe his family background in detail, so this person must have extraordinary abilities.

"Don't be surprised, let me explain slowly," he continued. "Since ancient times, there has been the saying that human life has 'three souls and six spirits.' As long as the soul and spirit do not dissipate, a ten-thousand-year-old spiritual jade can house the remaining soul and spirit within it, allowing the soul and spirit to exist forever. If there is a ten-thousand-year-old black jade, all three souls and six spirits will return to their original positions. After being nourished by the spiritual energy of the black jade for eighty-one days, one can become an energy body."

"What is an energy body?"

"It can only be understood intuitively, not explained in words," the man said. "Because your personal belongings contain a rare jade spiritual energy, the first such energy seen in thousands of years. That's why the formation was activated, bringing you here, and your current location is the eye of the Bagua formation."

"Is that formation the Bagua formation? Where exactly is it located?"

"You little rascal, you're quite cunning!" the "man" laughed heartily. "Don't worry, this old man will tell you everything. You and that girl sit down and listen to me slowly."

"This formation was specially placed here by me years ago, so that it could be used after my death. I was supposed to assist my uncle in unifying the Central Plains, but in my youth I used too many fire attacks, which went against the will of Heaven, and there was no other way. As my life was about to end, I personally chose this place, and it turned out to be an ideal natural location for setting up the Bagua formation. I arranged it according to the terrain and set up the Taiji Hunyuan Formation within it, and then set up the Four Symbols Formation within the Hunyuan Formation, and within the Four Symbols Formation was the ancient formation—the Immortal Slaughtering Formation. And the stone you are sitting on is the ten-thousand-year-old spiritual jade." "My soul resides within. Nourished by thousands of years of spiritual energy, my energy body has essentially formed. If I possessed the Eternal Black Jade, my soul would automatically absorb the spiritual energy within it. And you happen to possess these things, which is why I placed you here. Your arrival would have required another hundred years of spiritual energy nourishment, but with your help, I only need eighty-one days to form a true energy body. However, the black jade you carried possesses a malevolent aura, but there is a wondrous piece of jade nearby whose spiritual energy is its nemesis, purifying the malevolent aura emanating from the black jade."

"Is it that black stone?" Zhuge Mugua asked, unable to contain his excitement.

"Yes, that black raw stone is a stone left behind by the ancient great formation—the Immortal Slaughtering Formation. Because it absorbed too much evil energy, now that it has seen the light of day again, it exudes a soaring evil aura. If someone's willpower is weak, they will be controlled by the evil aura, thus endangering their life." The "person" said slowly. "As for the stone with the black jade, I don't know what kind of jade it contains, but the spiritual energy emanating from it is truly refreshing and pleasing to the eye. Even my soul feels a restless feeling." "

Then, then, will my husband suffer a bloody disaster because of this black jade with its soaring evil aura?" Zhang Yuqian took over the conversation.

“Young lady, don’t rush, let me tell you slowly.” The “person” continued, “What you just said is only a small part correct. Do you want to know the origin of this black jade stone?”

Zhuge Mugua and Zhang Yuqian both pricked up their ears, as if afraid of missing something. As if sensing their emotions, the “person” continued, “In the primordial era, Shennong tasted hundreds of herbs, using this stone to test for poisons. After Shennong passed away, he passed the stone to the Yellow Emperor, and so it was passed down from generation to generation until it reached Yu the Great. Yu the Great used the power bestowed by the stone to open mountains and divert rivers to control floods. This stone was eventually inherited by his son, Qi of Xia. Finally, for some unknown reason, it fell into the hands of King Zhou of Shang. It was through this power that King Zhou of Shang became the ruler of the Central Plains, possessing the land of the four seas. The magical power of this stone…” The quantity is truly astonishing, something coveted by countless emperors throughout history. Unexpectedly, during Jiang Ziya's conferment of titles upon the gods, the Shang dynasty fell to King Zhou, who was replaced by King Wu of Zhou. The original stone disappeared without a trace, until Qin Shi Huang unified the six kingdoms. A stranger obtained it and presented it to him, and Qin Shi Huang, overjoyed, richly rewarded the man. The man, however, was not excited by the reward and quietly left, forgoing high office and wealth. Qin Shi Huang then used his own power to absorb the energy from the black jade, and after unifying the six kingdoms, began constructing the Great Wall. Unexpectedly, the short-lived Qin dynasty vanished during the peasant uprising sparked by Chen Sheng and Wu Guang. Now, nearly three thousand years later, this black jade has reappeared. And its malevolent energy is even stronger than before, yet it is countered by the refreshing spiritual energy emanating from the unknown stone. Truly, it is the will of Heaven!”

“What will of Heaven?” Zhuge Mugua asked, puzzled.

"You shouldn't know these things now," the "person" said mysteriously. "Heavenly secrets cannot be revealed."

...

011, [Rebirth of the Military Saint]

"Little Papaya, now do as I say, place that piece of black jade in the center of the ten-thousand-year-old spiritual jade you're sitting on, and that's it."

"Is that all?"

"Also, place that hand-shaped stone on top of the black jade. You two must keep a distance of at least three steps from the ten-thousand-year-old spiritual jade to avoid being harmed by the evil energy emanating from the black jade."

Zhuge Papaya hurriedly pulled Zhang Yuqian's hand and took three steps back, nervously looking at the three-meter-square round stone they had just been sitting on—which the "person" called the ten-thousand-year-old spiritual jade.

The two had just stood still when they saw the ten-thousand-year-old spirit jade slowly enveloped by a faint white mist, until it completely surrounded it. Then, the mist gradually thickened, changing from pale white to milky white, and then from milky white to a liquid-like milky white liquid, seemingly shimmering with fluorescent light within…

Zhuge Mugua and Zhang Yuqian stared wide-eyed at the white object…

After an unknown amount of time, they watched as the white object began to change again, but in the opposite direction, until it completely disappeared.

“Sister Yuqian, Sister Yuqian!” Zhuge Mugua softly called to the dumbfounded Zhang Yuqian.

"Oh! Oh!" Zhang Yuqian murmured to herself, "It's amazing, truly amazing!"

"Kid, you're really in luck now," the "person" said. "The evil energy of that black jade rough has been completely cleansed by the spiritual energy of the ten-thousand-year-old spiritual jade and that unknown jade rough, and it's been infused with new spiritual energy. You could say that the black jade rough is now a priceless treasure. You must make the most of it."

"Senior, but what should we do now..." Zhang Yuqian was thinking about how to inform her father in Kunming about her husband Hong Dafa's murder, which was why she said that.

"Don't worry, with me here, you don't need to worry. Besides, I have many things to tell you," the "person" said slowly and deliberately.

"Senior, what should we do now?" Zhuge Mugua was also very anxious.

"With your current strength, you are no match for it. Now do as I say."

Zhuge Mugua looked at Zhang Yuqian and said, "Sister Yuqian, we..."

"Mugua, I'll listen to you." Zhang Yuqian's eyes held trust and a meaning only she knew.

"You two sit cross-legged on the ten-thousand-year-old spirit jade, palms facing upwards, and don't move the two raw stones in the middle. Place your palms together."

Zhuge Mugua and Zhang Yuqian sat down accordingly. Since Zhang Yuqian had never practiced martial arts since childhood, let alone been exposed to internal martial arts, she was particularly fond of those martial arts dramas and always fantasized about becoming a female hero who could fly over rooftops.

With Zhuge Mugua's help, she sat cross-legged, closed her eyes, and eliminated all selfish thoughts.

Soon, the two entered a state of selflessness. The "person" seemed to know this and didn't begin what it was doing until the two were completely calm and had no distracting thoughts.

Mist, white mist.

The mist gradually thickened, eventually enveloping the two like a milky white liquid, obscuring even the massive, ancient jade. They appeared as if they were inside a single, natural egg, the two being the yolk and the outer layer the egg white…

Zhuge Mugua was the first to sense it. His self-cultivation of the "Primordial Qi Gong" gave him a unique understanding of Qi cultivation, and he quickly felt something: he felt a flow of Qi in his dantian, a flow that was both cool and hot, flowing through meridians that his previous "Primordial Qi Gong" Qi could not reach. Most remarkably, as this Qi passed through his shoulder blades, it split into two different flows, one cold and one hot, flowing from the Laogong acupoints in his palms towards Zhang Yuqian's palms.

Zhang Yuqian's sensation was similar to Zhuge Mugua's…

After an unknown amount of time, the white mist disappeared.

Zhuge Mugua and Zhang Yuqian had already descended from the ancient jade.

Zhang Yuqian at this time was completely different from before. Before, she could be described as a beautiful and mature young woman. Now, after being baptized by the spiritual energy of three different jade stones and the "Primordial Qi Gong" of Zhuge Papaya, she had a different charm. Every move she made made any man want to kiss her: her skin was as white as mutton fat jade, her face was as white as jade, her skin was as white as snow, her eyebrows were as white as willow leaves, her eyes were as white as almonds, her cheeks were as white as peaches and her lips were as white as cherryes. Her figure was graceful and elegant, her body was exquisite and her figure was curvaceous. She wore a white silk dress, light flesh-colored stockings, and milky white high heels. Her breasts and buttocks were beautiful. She had an elegant temperament and was modern and fashionable. Although she was thirty years old, she was still youthful and sexy.

Zhang Yuqian also sensed something was different. When she saw Zhuge Mugua's eyes, a blush immediately spread across her face. She said coquettishly, "Mugua, is there something on my face?"

Zhuge Mugua then realized what was happening and awkwardly said, "No, no, I...I didn't...I..."

Zhuge Mugua felt truly sorry for Brother Hong, but at this moment, he couldn't find any other way to express himself, so he could only lower his head in embarrassment. Fortunately, the "person" spoke, resolving the awkward situation and dispelling all of Zhuge Mugua's reservations.

"Mugua boy, do you feel that two of your meridians are blocked?"

"Yes, sir, that's what I was just about to ask you."

"Ah! I never expected that someone with two meridians, a rare find in a thousand years, would appear before me. It's truly fate!"

"Grandpa, what is a double meridian?" Zhang Yuqian felt incredibly refreshed, as if she could fly. She didn't understand what a double meridian meant, which was why she asked.

"The so-called 'dual veins' refer to possessing both the soul and spirit veins of a dragon, and Papaya possesses both of these."

Zhuge Papaya and Zhang Yuqian didn't ask further, knowing there was more to come, so they waited quietly, and sure enough...

"Throughout the history of dynasties, the founding emperors all possessed dragon vein characteristics, but those with true soul and spirit dual veins are extremely rare, appearing only once in a thousand years. Those who possess dual veins have immeasurable future achievements."

"But Grandpa, there are no emperors in this society anymore!"

"I know that, but there are other ways to become king or emperor."

"Could you explain in detail the fate of those with dual veins?"

"Well! It can only be understood intuitively, not explained in words! But you, Papaya, are destined for romance! Hahaha, I'm going to cultivate now, remember you all need to practice diligently too. 'Seven in the middle, three on the right, one in front, five on the left,' I'm off! When you come out, I'll have successfully cultivated." With a hearty laugh, he entered the depths of the ten-thousand-year-old spiritual jade.

012. [Spring Arises in the Secret Chamber] - 1

Zhuge Mugua and Zhang Yuqian looked at each other, and finally Zhuge Mugua broke the silence: "Sister Yuqian, let's go in the direction you said. Maybe we'll have an unexpected gain."

"Okay!"

Seeing that Zhang Yuqian agreed, Zhuge Mugua grabbed Zhang Yuqian's hand and, following the "seven in the center, three on the right, one in front, five on the left" footwork, walked forward from the center of the array eye mentioned by the Ten Thousand Year Spirit Jade. Although they walked quite carefully, they were dumbfounded when they finished the last step, "five on the left

." In front of them was a huge, pure white jade-like stone screen, with stone walls on both sides, and there was no way to pass through. "Mugua, there's no way to go ahead?" Zhang Yuqian wondered.

"Sister Yuqian, don't rush, let me think about it." After saying this, Zhuge Mugua fell silent, closed his

eyes, and silently pushed his "Primordial Qi Gong" to its limit, beginning to explore the mysteries of the stone screen... Time passed second by second, and Zhang Yuqian did not disturb him. She simply stared intently at Zhuge Mugua's solemn face, which appeared solemn due to his cultivation, and a small seed began to sprout deep in her heart...

More than ten minutes later, Zhuge Mugua opened his eyes and saw Zhang Yuqian staring intently at him, especially at her luscious red lips. He wanted to kiss her hard, but he suppressed the fire of desire and said, "Sister Yuqian, do you know what the stone screen is used for?"

"Oh!" Zhang Yuqian finally realized what was happening, her face flushing red. Whether it was excitement or something else, only she knew. "Mugua, quick, tell your sister, what is it?"

Zhuge Mugua smiled slightly and said, "Actually, this stone screen is just an illusion. There's actually a stone house inside." She paused for a moment, then continued, "This is the imagery of the Bagua formation—the illusion being reality, and reality being illusion."

Before Zhang Yuqian could answer, Zhuge Mugua grabbed her hand and led her straight towards the stone screen. This terrified Zhang Yuqian, but then she thought: Mugua wouldn't lie to me. With that thought, she steeled herself, closed her eyes, and looked like she was going to a battle.

"Sister, you can open your eyes now."

Before Zhang Yuqian could recover from her shock, she heard Zhuge Mugua's gentle, magnetic voice in her ear. She involuntarily opened her eyes and found herself in a bright hall, with herself and Mugua in the center. The hall was an octagon, with a door on each side, each door inlaid with a bead the size of a goose egg. The light in the hall emanated from these beads. Zhang Yuqian, born into a wealthy family, had seen many beads, including luminous pearls, but she had never seen one as large as this before. She jumped up excitedly, running to each door like a child to touch them, exclaiming, "So beautiful!" She ran around the hall like a happy little deer, when suddenly she stopped, captivated by the bead on the ceiling… After

a brief moment of attraction, she seemed to remember something, running to Zhuge Mugua, grabbing his hand, and shaking it vigorously: "Mugua, look at that bead on your head! It's so big, so beautiful!"

Women have an innate love for gemstones, and a particularly special kind of love at that, and Zhang Yuqian, this wealthy young woman, was no exception.

Zhuge Mugua was also captivated by Zhang Yuqian's girlish charm and happily said, "Sister, do you like it? I'll pick it for you and give it to you."

"Really?" Zhang Yuqian said happily, "But, it didn't say it was for us, I... I don't want it."

Actually, Zhuge Mugua had seen the huge bead as soon as he came in. He had also seen it in a historical anecdote, so he said, "Sister, do you know the origin of this bead?"

"Tell me quickly!"

"Good!" Zhuge Mugua said, "According to historical records, when Pangu separated heaven and earth and Nuwa mended the sky with stones, she created nine seven-colored clouds. Of these nine clouds, only seven were used. One of the smallest seven-colored clouds accidentally fell into the South China Sea and landed inside a giant clam. After a thousand years, it formed a huge pearl. One year, when the Yellow Emperor was inspecting the South China Sea, he killed the giant clam that was causing trouble and obtained the pearl. When the Yellow Emperor returned to the Central Plains, he entrusted the pearl to his wives, Ehuang and Nüying, for safekeeping. Unexpectedly, it was obtained by Kongming and used to embed here as a light source."

"So, there's such a little side story? By the way, Mugua, does this pearl have any other functions?"

"There should be historical records that say this pearl is called the 'Emperor's Pearl,' which has the power to detoxify all poisons and is impervious to water and fire. Drinking water infused with this pearl can prolong life, and for women, it can regulate the endocrine system and has beauty-enhancing effects."

"Oh!" Upon hearing about beauty and skincare, Zhang Yuqian's face lit up with longing—a natural reaction for any woman. However, the thought that everything here wasn't hers brought a shadow of sadness to her face.

"Sister Yuqian, don't worry. Perhaps when Kongming reappears, he'll take everything from here back to us." "

Then, what do we do now?" Zhang Yuqian stared at the empty hall, unsure of the purpose behind it all.

“Sister Yuqian, don’t worry, I’m here. The doors in this hall are actually arranged according to the Bagua (Eight Trigrams). I know which door to go in first. With me here, you won’t be frightened.”

“Let’s choose the door in the Gen (Northeast) position and see what’s inside.”

Zhuge Mugua said, pulling Zhang Yuqian’s hand and leading her to the door on the left.

Above the door was a line of words: “Jade face glows with rosy hues, crimson and at peace.”

Zhang Yuqian looked at the eight characters, not understanding their meaning, and turned to ask Mugua, “Mugua, what does this mean?”

Zhuge Mugua thought for a while, then shook her head, indicating that she didn’t understand it either.

Just as Zhuge Mugua was about to push the door open, it opened silently before his hand even touched it…

Zhang Yuqian and Zhuge Mugua exchanged glances and stepped inside without hesitation…

On the front of the door were four sentences: “Gen means position, sparseness and obstruction; practicing it is beneficial, cultivating it is the great path.”

Perhaps due to the spiritual energy of the ten-thousand-year-old spiritual jade, the raw black jade, and an unknown jade material, their bodies had been completely transformed, and their brain development had reached a new level. They could understand these four sentences. On

the left and right walls were four human figures: the four figures on the left were in strange poses, and each figure had red and black lines indicating direction.

Zhang Yuqian didn't understand them, but having practiced “Hun Yuan Yi Qi Gong” since childhood, he knew it was a diagram of the Qi cultivation path. However, he was also a little puzzled, as practice diagrams usually only had one path, but these diagrams showed two different paths, and he wondered what their purpose was.

The two unconsciously approached to examine the image more closely. Beside the image was a line of small characters: "Yang walks on red, Yin walks on black, hands touch.

" ...

013, [Springtime in a Secret Room] - 2

"Papaya, what does this mean?"

"Let me think?" When Zhuge Papaya saw this line, his brain raced, trying to decipher its meaning.

"Sister Yuqian, I understand! There's an ancient saying about female Yin and male Yang; women walk on black lines, men on red lines. Sister Yuqian, do you understand?"

"I understand. It means my left palm touches your right palm, my right palm touches the starting point of the black line, and your left hand touches the red line..."

"Sister Yuqian, you're so clever!"

"It was all thanks to my little brother's reminder," Zhang Yuqian said coquettishly.

"Sister, I'm telling the truth."

Zhang Yuqian looked at Zhuge Mugua's deep, melancholic eyes, like Tony Leung's, and couldn't help but feel a surge of affection. She reached out and took his right hand in hers. "Mugua, your sister is family. I will always help and support you."

"Thank you, sister. Let's hurry up and practice! Otherwise, we don't know when we'll get out."

...

As the saying goes, time flies in the mountains, and years leave no trace.

Zhuge Mugua and Zhang Yuqian had already completed the training diagrams for all eight small rooms, but they hadn't reached the level they had described. Zhuge Mugua was the most puzzled: "How could this be?"

Zhang Yuqian ignored them, preoccupied with examining the luminous pearls, each the size of a bird's egg, in each room. She touched this one and that one with great affection, occasionally letting out bursts of sweet giggles.

Zhuge Mugua carefully examined the walls of the room. Suddenly, he noticed a small, barely noticeable raised dot in the lower right corner of the last picture. Curious, he tapped it with his finger, and with a creak, a book fell from some corner.

"Mugua, what's wrong?" Zhang Yuqian rushed in to ask Zhuge Mugua, but found him silent, engrossed in the book, his face flushed, as if he were possessed. She leaned closer to see what it was. It turned out that Da Bao was holding a copy of the "Jade Maiden Heart Sutra," which depicted sixty-four sexual positions, with men and women completely naked, in various poses of lovemaking, their facial expressions incredibly lifelike. How could one not be aroused?

"You're going to die! How can you read such a book?" Zhang Yuqian scolded, her face still flushed.

Zhuge Mugua snapped out of his daze and hurriedly got up and turned around, only to find Zhang Yuqian standing right behind him, peering over his head. He abruptly turned and landed a solid kiss on Zhang Yuqian's cherry-like lips. Although she immediately pushed him away, the soft, moist sensation was exquisite.

"Sister, Sister Yuqian, Mugua... Mugua didn't mean it..." Zhuge Mugua hurriedly protested.

"You little rascal, are you overthinking things? If not, why are you bending over?" During the time Zhang Yuqian had spent with Zhuge Mugua, she had developed an inexplicable feeling for this naive young man. Whenever Zhuge Mugua was around, a sweet feeling would fill her heart, and she had forgotten the grief of losing her husband.

"I...I..." Zhuge Mugua stammered, "Sister, you're so beautiful, like a fairy from heaven."

For some reason, Zhang Yuqian continued to tease the shy and adorable boy: "Really? Sister is so beautiful, that means you want to kiss her, right?"

"I..." Da Bao stammered shyly, "Sister, you're so beautiful and noble, I can only admire you...Mugua wouldn't dare..."

Zhang Yuqian took Zhuge Mugua's large hand and asked gently, "Little rascal, have you ever kissed a girl?"

Zhuge Mugua shook his head shyly, but seeing Zhang Yuqian's flushed face and delicate, charming appearance, he couldn't help but breathe rapidly, his blood boiling with nervous excitement, his desire ignited.

"Little rascal, close your eyes," Zhang Yuqian said softly.

Although Zhuge Mugua was only sixteen or seventeen years old, or more precisely, seventeen, after so many days of training, his body had naturally undergone significant changes, and he was now a head taller than Zhang Yuqian. Her slender hands cupped Zhuge Mugua's face, and her cherry-like lips gently kissed his.

Upon hearing this, Zhuge Mugua involuntarily closed his eyes slightly. The moment his lips touched hers, her soft yet cool fragrance sent a jolt through his innocent young heart like an electric current. Before he could even savor the moment, her warm, smooth tongue lightly brushed against his teeth. Just as he was about to suckle it, it nimbly and swiftly slipped into his mouth to explore and stir.

This time, Zhuge Mugua didn't let that nimble tongue slip away again. He could only clumsily and roughly suck on Zhang Yuqian's soft, smooth tongue. Just as Zhuge Mugua's tongue and Zhang Yuqian's tongues clashed and intertwined, a surge of heat instantly coursed through Zhuge Mugua's entire body, from his forehead to the soles of his feet, flowing from his subconscious to every nerve ending. It was as if someone had injected hot tar into Zhuge Mugua's veins. Zhuge Mugua's whole body immediately became burning hot, and his desire surged.

Zhuge Mugua's strong and powerful arms involuntarily wrapped tightly around Zhang Yuqian's plump and rounded body.

Zhang Yuqian's full and elastic breasts pressed tightly against Zhuge Mugua's chest. Zhuge Mugua could deeply feel her throbbing heart and eager breath. He let Zhang Yuqian's tongue guide him to the depths of his soul. No matter how she churned and pounded in his mouth, Zhuge Mugua nervously responded to her, not daring to miss a single moment of mutual kissing. Sometimes their tongues intertwined and lingered, sometimes they scraped and licked each other. In the moments of light saliva exchange or sucking and biting each other's tongues, Zhuge Mugua always felt that he had heard too many hidden feelings of Zhang Yuqian in this silent confession. He emotionally trembled and placed his large hand on her full and high breasts and began to caress them.

Suddenly, Zhang Yuqian let out a soft moan, tightly gripping Zhuge Mugua's hand, barely pushing away the infatuated Zhuge Mugua. With a playful, spring-like smile, she said coquettishly, "Alright, you little rascal, are you trying to suffocate your sister?"

"Sister, you're so good!" Zhuge Mugua said, still wanting more.

Zhang Yuqian, enjoying the wonderful thrill of breaking the taboo of ambiguity, said shyly and charmingly, "Have you figured out how to break through? How did you get this book?"

...

014, [Springtime in a Secret Chamber]—3

Zhang Yuqian casually picked up the book "Jade Maiden Heart Sutra" and flipped through it:

"1. Silkworm Entanglement; 2. Dragon's Wandering; 3. Fish in Pairs; 4. Swallows of One Heart; 5. Kingfisher's Union; 6. Mandarin Ducks United; 7. Butterfly somersaulting; 8. Duck flying on its back; 9. Pine tree with reclining canopy; 10. Bamboo by the altar; 11. Phoenix with its chicks; 12. Seagull soaring; 13. Wild horse leaping; 14. Galloping gait; 15. Horse shaking its hooves; 16. White tiger leaping; 17. Cicada attaching itself; 18. Goat facing a tree; 19. Chicken on the field; 20. Phoenix roaming in the cinnabar cave; 21. Peng bird soaring in the dark; 22. Monkey embracing a tree; 23. Cat and mouse together." "Home, Twenty-Four, Three Spring Donkeys. The first twenty positions each have three stages, and the last four positions each have one stage."

Although Zhang Yuqian was an experienced woman, she had never heard of or seen such a wide variety of sexual positions before. It was truly eye-opening and breathtaking, and she became somewhat aroused. Suddenly, when she turned to the last page, she saw some text and couldn't help but ask in surprise, "Mugua, come and see what it says here?"

Zhuge Mugua quickly came over, and saw that it read:

"In the ancient times, there was the mutual generation of Yin and Yang, Yin nourishing Yang, Yang nourishing Yin, Yin and Yang restraining each other, that is, mutual generation and mutual completion, Yin and Yang intersecting, the communication of heaven and earth."

Such a short passage would be difficult for an ordinary person to understand, but the two of them had some understanding of these words after practicing for a period of time, but they were just too embarrassed to say it. Especially after Zhang Yuqian had just had the most intimate contact with Zhuge Mugua, she could better understand the meaning, and Zhuge Mugua, whose desires were now wide open, also knew what it meant. I had heard my master mention the art of dual cultivation before, which could enhance the true energy of the man and woman cultivating together.

Zhuge Mugua couldn't help but look at Zhang Yuqian. At this moment, Zhang Yuqian was: a beautiful face with a shy and charming blush, white with a rosy tint, slightly upturned bright red cherry lips, and full, high breasts that trembled with each breath. Her skin was snow-white and delicate, and her full and sexy body was tightly wrapped in a light green semi-transparent dress, revealing her distinct curves. Especially captivating were her pair of large, watery, and alluring eyes, which were bright and sparkling. Every time they turned, they seemed to contain a ball of fire, bewitching the soul. Her mature, charming, and beautiful allure made Zhuge Mugua lose his mind and become intoxicated. He couldn't help but stare at Zhang Yuqian and couldn't look away.

Zhang Yuqian's face flushed crimson under Zhuge Mugua's gaze, her heart pounding and her breath quickening. She knew this handsome young man was captivated by her beauty, her mature and sexy charm, and was lost in fantasies.

"You little rascal, what are you looking at? Do I have flowers on my face?" Zhang Yuqian said coquettishly, her eyes sparkling with spring.

"No flowers, but more vibrant and beautiful than any flower." Zhuge Mugua, emboldened by some unknown source, wrapped his arms around Zhang Yuqian's soft waist, lowered his head to meet her fragrant lips, and sucked hard on her lips that offered themselves to him. He used his tongue to pry open her two rows of white, pearly teeth. She slightly parted her lips, and Zhuge Mugua's tongue immediately entered her mouth, stirring her warm, moist oral cavity. She responded with her soft, smooth tongue, and their tongues immediately intertwined, for the feelings buried deep in their hearts for the past few dozen days were now inseparable.

With tacit permission, Zhuge Mugua became bolder, using his large tongue to pry open her slightly parted teeth and probe deep into her mouth...

Zhang Yuqian's smooth little tongue was sucked wantonly by Zhuge Mugua, and she immediately felt dizzy, her whole body went limp, and she fell into his strong arms...

Under Zhuge Mugua's strong arms, she immediately collapsed weakly on the white jade-like ground, constantly making soft moaning sounds. The moaning sounds were like crisp jade falling on a beaded plate, each sound clear and melodious, very pleasant to the ear, making Zhuge Mugua's soul drift away.

The two kissed for an unknown amount of time. When Zhang Yuqian regained some clarity, she realized that her breasts had been compromised. Her full left breast was now tightly held in Zhuge Mugua's large hand through her dress, being wantonly kneaded and squeezed...

Zhuge Mugua kissed Zhang Yuqian greedily, his hands busy kneading and playing with her two mature, firm breasts, feeling their elasticity and changes in his hands...

Zhang Yuqian felt herself gradually losing control, because she clearly felt her firm breasts beginning to swell and become sensitive under Zhuge Mugua's constant stimulation. Waves of pleasure surged through her body. She could even feel Zhuge Mugua's hard, large member pressing against her flat, soft abdomen through her dress, making her legs wet...

Suddenly, both of them felt a surge of energy flowing from their dantian to each other's mouths. Zhuge Mugua, however, had some self-control, knowing that this was the breakthrough he had mentioned in the room.

"Sister Yuqian, calm down. According to our respective energy cultivation paths, we will begin to reach the final stage."

Zhang Yuqian was startled and quickly suppressed her desires. She knew that Zhuge Mugua was in more pain than she was, and her heart pounded wildly, which strengthened the passion deep within her heart.

So the two began practicing according to their respective cultivation diagrams, but their postures remained unchanged. Zhuge Mugua's left palm pressed firmly against Zhang Yuqian's dantian, and Zhang Yuqian's left palm pressed firmly against his dantian. Their lips remained intertwined, transferring their inner energy to each other…

Before long, they were enveloped in a pale white mist. Slowly, the mist thickened, and the two began to rotate continuously. The white mist rotated along with them, its speed increasing, and it gradually changed color, turning from white to pale yellow…

It was truly a miracle, a miracle indeed! If martial artists saw this, they would surely be filled with envy…

And then, another miracle! The "Emperor Pearl" on the ceiling of the hall also began to change: it slowly rotated, emitting a dazzling white light, which completely enveloped the mist around them…

The "Emperor Pearl" began to undergo a qualitative change, transforming from white light to a dazzling crimson glow. Zhuge Mugua and Zhang Yuqian spun faster and faster, absorbing all the crimson light...

As they circulated their energy through eighty-one cycles, the white mist gradually dissipated, and the "Emperor Pearl" on the ceiling no longer emitted its crimson light. However, the pearl itself became exceptionally bright, as if washed with pearly liquid, radiating a holy light.

Zhuge Mugua and Zhang Yuqian looked at each other, their faces flushed...

"Congratulations, you've finally succeeded." The "person" reappeared.

"Grandpa, what are we practicing?"

"Alright, sit down, I'll tell you!"

The two sat cross-legged, quietly waiting for the "person" to begin his sermon.

"At the end of the Western Han Dynasty, war raged, and warlords vied for supremacy. The renowned general Lü Bu, brave and skilled in battle, fought three heroes with his halberd. The technique he practiced was the War God Diagram, the internal energy cultivation method you just practiced. His halberd was an even more formidable weapon, forged from ten-thousand-year-old black iron collected from the bottom of the South China Sea—a peerless weapon. Furthermore, he possessed an ancient and exceptionally fierce halberd technique, but I haven't found it."

"How can we find this halberd technique?"

"Don't worry, the destined one will naturally obtain it," the "person" said. "You can return to Kunming now. The sooner the better."

"And you?" Zhang Yuqian asked.

"Little girl, don't worry, I'll go with you. Your father's lifespan is over, you should leave as soon as possible..."

"What did you say? No way?" Zhang Yuqian couldn't believe it was true.

"Little girl, listen to me, your father has been gambling on jade since childhood, and has suffered from the spiritual energy of various jade stones. His body is full of toxins, and even a great immortal would find it difficult to save him. I've calculated that your father has only three months left to live. The dead cannot be brought back to life, and the living should live well, live a meaningful and valuable life. Little girl, don't worry about it. For your father, this is the best relief."

"Thank you, I know." Zhang Yuqian was highly educated and knew what her father had done to make his fortune, but she just couldn't accept what she had just heard.

"All the treasures here are yours. I'll take you to where you should get on the bus. Little girl, your bus will arrive when you get home."

015, [Springtime in Kunming] - 1

As the sun sets, on a luxury bus bound for Kunming, Zhuge Mugua and Zhang Yuqian have already embarked on their journey. They only need to arrive around 2 PM tomorrow.

The two ate something casually at the station before boarding the bus, both showing signs of drowsiness due to the weather.

"Sister, you should get some rest. We'll arrive tomorrow. Staying up too late will give you pimples, which won't look good."

Zhang Yuqian noticed that Zhuge Mugua's eyes were fixed on her high, full breasts as he spoke. She gave him a coquettish glare, her heart pounding, as if she had returned to the beautiful days of her first love.

A movie, Jet Li's *The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor*, played on the bus. Zhang Yuqian slowly fell asleep, her head resting on Zhuge Mugua's shoulder. Through the low-cut neckline, Zhuge Mugua could clearly see her deep, fair cleavage and mostly full, white breasts. Inhaling the fragrance of Yuqian's hair, Zhuge Mugua, his mind wandering, also unknowingly drifted off to sleep.

When Zhuge Mugua woke up, he found himself holding Zhang Yuqian's soft shoulder. Zhang Yuqian was also awake, giving him a shy look and saying, "Let's get something to eat; I'm hungry!" They

ate a late dinner at a highway service area, and the bus continued its journey.

The night was deep, the moonlight like water. Zhang Yuqian quietly gazed at the night view outside the window. Neither of them spoke; most of the passengers were asleep.

At this moment, Zhuge Mugua noticed a young couple in front of him, their heads intertwined, passionately entwined.

Zhuge Mugua involuntarily looked at Zhang Yuqian, who happened to turn her head to look at him as well, instantly blushing shyly.

Zhuge Mugua's heart pounded wildly, and he couldn't help but reach out and grasp her delicate hand. She struggled slightly, then let him hold her hand.

Zhuge Mugua felt his mouth was dry and softly asked, "Sister Yuqian, would you like some water?"

Zhang Yuqian silently agreed. Zhuge Mugua bent down to get the mineral water from under his seat, and saw Zhang Yuqian's two snow-white, slender legs, even more alluring in their flesh-colored stockings, arousing endless fantasies. He couldn't help but recall his long, passionate kiss with Zhang Yuqian, but they had never crossed the line. At this moment, Zhuge Mugua involuntarily reached out his hand...

Zhang Yuqian grabbed his hand tightly, preventing him from going any further, from crossing the final barrier... …

Actually, Zhang Yuqian was quite willing, but in this situation, she couldn't let go of her overflowing passion…

Zhang Yuqian whispered shyly in Zhuge Mugua's ear, “You little rascal, we're on the bus, with so many people around, please spare your sister!”

Zhuge Mugua smiled, his right hand emerging from under Zhang Yuqian's skirt, his left hand gently around her slender waist, saying, “I'll get you some water.”

Zhang Yuqian gave him a coquettish glare, took the water bottle, and gave his arm a sharp pinch with her other hand.

Zhuge Mugua gently embraced her, listening to each other's heartbeats.

Zhuge Mugua wasn't satisfied; his hands wanted to explore her again, and his lips were restless, lightly kissing her hair.

Zhang Yuqian was, after all, a young woman. Having experienced all this, and having shared intimate kisses with Zhuge Mugua, she knew he was now restless, and she felt as if she had returned to the days of first love, her heart pounding like a deer.

Zhang Yuqian whispered, "Mugua, look how beautiful the night is outside."

She turned to look out the window. Zhuge Mugua, as if by telepathy, leaned over and comfortably rested his head on her fragrant shoulder, his hands embracing her lower abdomen from behind. Zhuge Mugua gently kissed Zhang Yuqian's fair neck, and Zhang Yuqian's delicate body trembled slightly. His tongue lightly licked her earlobe, and she closed her eyes in bliss.

Zhang Yuqian trembled as she reached out and grasped Zhuge Mugua's hands, saying, "Mugua, good brother, don't do this. Please forgive your sister, okay? When we get to Kunming, whatever you want, your sister will give you."

Zhuge Mugua was slightly satisfied. He kissed Yuqian again and held her as they sweetly fell asleep. Their journey together was filled with tender affection, even more intoxicating than actual lovemaking.

Zhuge Mugua didn't know why he had become like this. The reason was simple: his original practice of "Hun Yuan Yi Qi Gong" had been combined with the "War God Diagram," and he had also absorbed the essence of the "Emperor Pearl." His dragon soul and spirit meridians were fully opened, thus opening his gates of lust—a result of dual cultivation. Zhang Yuqian also knew that this young man beside her would be her everything. This young man was destined for many romantic encounters; countless girls would entangle themselves around him, but she knew that her place in his heart would always be the most important.

The next afternoon, they arrived in Kunming—the Spring City.

Here, the spring scenery is beautiful in all four seasons. The Xishan Scenic Area is described as: "Few monks in solitary temples, few travelers on perilous bridges. Where have the blue clouds gone? Spring's return should be timely." The tomb of the famous people's musician Nie Er is also located in the park; Kunming Black Dragon Pool is known as the "First Ancient Temple in Central Yunnan." It is also famous for its "Four Wonders": Tang Dynasty plum blossoms, Song Dynasty cypress trees, Ming Dynasty tea, and Ming Dynasty tombs. Of course, these were just a few attractions in Kunming.

Zhang Yuqian briefly told Zhuge Mugua this as the car entered Yunnan, saying she would take him sightseeing the next day.

Zhang Yuqian didn't call her father; instead, she took a taxi with Zhuge Mugua to Yihe New District—their home.

Yihe New District was a residential area affordable to ordinary people, inhabited by Yunnan's wealthy elite. The taxi couldn't get in; security guards stopped them outside. Zhuge Mugua and Zhang Yuqian had no choice but to get out and walk through the gate.

The security guard at the gate was a snobbish man, but upon seeing a beautiful woman, his eyes immediately became glazed: "Miss, please register."

Having undergone the "War God Diagram" training, Zhang Yuqian was no longer the same person. Now, her heart belonged only to Zhuge Mugua; she felt only disgust for other men who harbored lustful thoughts. She rolled her eyes: "I'm going home; do I need to register?"

"This, this, I'm just doing my job," the security guard said again.

“I’m Zhang Honggui’s daughter, do I need to register?”

“You, you… what’s wrong? Is there someone impersonating me?”

“No, you, you can go in.”

“But he can’t go in?” The security guard pointed to Zhuge Mugua behind Zhang Yuqian, clearly deliberately making things difficult for her.

“Bullshit!” Zhang Yuqian cursed angrily. This was probably the first time she had ever cursed in her life. As she spoke, she lightly stomped her heel, pulled Zhuge Mugua, and went inside without looking back.

The security guard stared blankly at the departing figure. His gaze had barely left the spot where Zhang Yuqian had just stood when he noticed the floor, once paved with fine marble, now riddled with uniform cracks radiating outwards from a single center. He gasped in shock: if it were him, the consequences would be unimaginable. 12-24 016、〖Spring City Brings Spring〗—2

“A-Gang, where’s my dad?”

“Miss, you’re back!” A-Gang was Zhang Honggui’s most trusted bodyguard, a former elite member of the Marine Corps’ special tactics squad. After his demobilization, Zhang Honggui recruited him as his personal bodyguard.

“Boss, he’ll be back soon. He’s fishing in the pond in the back garden!”

“This is Dafa’s little brother. He’s here to help with some things. You can call him Papaya.”

“Brother Papaya, hello.” A-Gang extended his right hand.

Although A-Gang was 1.9 meters tall, Zhuge Mugua, after practicing "Hun Yuan Yi Qi Gong" and "War God Diagram," was no shorter than A-Gang. When the two grown men clasped hands, Zhuge Mugua felt the strength in those hands, as hard as steel, and he simply smiled slightly. A-Gang, however, felt something unusual: the hands felt like cotton, offering no support. He realized this younger brother must possess extraordinary abilities.

In the world of men, it's all about strength; the victor is king, the loser is a bandit, and the strong are revered.

"Good brother, take a good rest," A-Gang said with a simple smile.

"Thank you, Brother A-Gang."

"Alright, alright, Mugua, go take a shower, you feel terrible."

The two went to wash up.

As the saying goes, a woman's bath is the longest wait, and Zhang Yuqian was no exception. While bathing, she couldn't help but recall the intimate, passionate kiss with Mugua, and a wet sensation arose below, her face instantly flushing red.

...

By this time, Zhuge Mugua had finished washing up and had nothing to do. Besides, there was no television in the living room upstairs. Fortunately, Zhang Yuqian had told him about her old bedroom, and without thinking, he pushed open the door and went in.

Zhang Yuqian's bedroom was a small one-bedroom apartment. The room wasn't large, but it had everything: a living room, bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, and a small balcony. The small living room was simply yet elegantly furnished, with three pale yellow sofas, a glass coffee table, and a rear-projection home theater system facing it, along with a high-end sound system. Several abstract watercolor paintings in glass frames hung on the snow-white walls, their subjects unclear. The overall layout of the living room gave a fresh and comfortable feeling.

Perhaps because Zhang Yuqian came back to stay for a few days every month after their marriage, the villa's housekeeper had to clean it daily.

Zhuge Mugua glanced around the bedroom and saw a large wardrobe with a glass front panel, revealing the clothes inside: all women's underwear and panties, along with some garter stockings—bold, avant-garde, and sexy. The panties were incredibly small, adorned with lace and intricate details, and almost unbelievably transparent. If worn by a beautiful woman, they would surely make one's blood boil.

...

Looking at the sexy underwear in the wardrobe, Zhuge Mugua couldn't help but imagine what it would be like if Sister Yuqian wore them. He couldn't resist opening the wardrobe and looking inside, his hand reaching in to touch a thin, light blue lace-trimmed thong. The thong was daring in style, smooth and delicate to the touch, seemingly exuding a uniquely feminine scent.

Any man would find it hard to resist such a stimulating and sexy sheer fabric, let alone Zhuge Mugua, whose desires were now fully unleashed. His burning desire was unbearable, and his breathing grew heavy…

“You little rascal, what are you doing?”

Suddenly, Zhang Yuqian entered. Seeing Zhuge Mugua staring at the underwear, her delicate face was already flushed crimson, as if it were about to bleed.

“I, I…” Zhuge Mugua turned around awkwardly, then froze. Zhang Yuqian, having just emerged from her bath, was truly beautiful and elegant, like a lotus emerging from water. She wore a light green halter-neck nightgown, revealing her pink bra and panties—a bombshell for a naive young man like Zhuge Mugua.

Zhuge Mugua, emboldened by some unknown source of courage, suddenly embraced Zhang Yuqian tightly, wildly kissing her cherry-like lips, wantonly sucking and biting her soft, smooth tongue.

"Yuqian, Sister Yuqian, I...I feel so uncomfortable..."

Zhang Yuqian gasped, her body limp on the bed. Her full, round breasts, the purplish-red nipples against her snow-white skin, were particularly alluring, as if defying Zhuge Mugua. Zhuge Mugua couldn't resist leaning down, greedily licking and sucking those purplish-red nipples. There was no milk, but the fragrant, rich scent of a mature, beautiful woman's breasts filled the air. Zhang Yuqian, panting, wrapped her arms around Zhuge Mugua's waist. Zhuge Mugua gathered all his energy back into one point, touching her plump, rounded body with his own, tentatively searching for the mystery he had longed for. He wanted her to feel his hardness; he wanted to find a wonderful valley where he could completely release himself.

Gasping and moaning, the flames burned fiercely, only to be extinguished by water.

Zhuge Mugua, his eyes bloodshot, breathed heavily and thrust haphazardly without any direction. Zhang Yuqian, panting softly, moaned softly, her delicate hand gently grasping Zhuge Mugua's engorged and grotesque member, guiding and directing his advance.

Zhuge Mugua finally achieved his goal, almost brutally entering Zhang Yuqian's beautiful, secluded valley. He felt his lower body enveloped by waves of fluid; he could feel Zhang Yuqian's warmth, her softness, her spasms, her trembling.

Although Zhang Yuqian was experienced, she had never given birth, and her vagina was still quite tight. However, due to her practice of the "God of War Diagram," the suction was astonishing. She actively or passively guided Zhuge Mugua to try all the various positions and variations described in the "Jade Maiden Heart Sutra," including many she had never experienced before.

Waves of pleasure washed over Zhuge Mugua as he wildly thrust his lower body, their bodies drenched in sweat, their breaths and cries filling the silent space. Each powerful thrust made Zhang Yuqian's breathing rapid, each stroke sending waves of pain mixed with pleasure through her. The dizzying moment was fast approaching; the final, intense onslaught arrived. Zhuge Mugua's body was no longer under his control; he numbly and relentlessly pounded into her, violently and almost brutally assaulting her. She surrendered herself, arching her full, rounded body in response. The fusion of fire and water erupted completely in the final moment, like a volcano bursting open, a ecstasy soaring between heaven and earth.

"Ah!" Zhuge Mugua and Zhang Yuqian embraced tightly, letting out the same sound simultaneously. A wave of heat surged unrestrainedly into her deepest depths, and he collapsed onto Zhang Yuqian's snow-white, full body, motionless, only their heavy breathing audible.

It took a long time for them to calm down from their passionate frenzy, still lingering reluctantly against each other, too lazy to move, and unwilling to move any further.

"Sister Yuqian, scold me, hit me!" Zhuge Mugua regained his previous shyness, like a child who had done something wrong. However, this mistake was more unforgivable and irreversible than anything else, unless the victim could forgive him.

"You little rascal, it's too late to scold or hit you now!" Zhang Yuqian gently caressed Zhuge Mugua's broad, strong, and muscular chest with her slender hand, her eyes filled with seductive charm as she coquettishly said, "Besides, I can't bear to scold or hit you!"

"Sister Yuqian, aren't you angry with me?" Seeing that Zhang Yuqian was not only not angry, but also so gentle, Zhuge Mugua was overjoyed. He couldn't help but gently embrace Zhang Yuqian's plump and rounded body, and said softly and tenderly, "Don't you hate me?"

"You little rascal, I hate how rude and impolite you were just now!" Zhang Yuqian said coquettishly, her eyes filled with seductive allure.

Zhuge Mugua, having tasted the forbidden fruit for the first time, was now savoring the flavor. Feeling Zhang Yuqian's full, high breasts in his arms, soft and bouncy, and seeing her shy yet alluring, gentle yet seductive charm, he couldn't help but feel his blood boil and his desire surge once more.

"You little rascal, why are you doing this again...?" Zhang Yuqian immediately noticed his unusual behavior and hurriedly pushed him away, panting, "Papaya, you little rascal, my little husband, I can't take it anymore. My dad's coming soon, it wouldn't be good if he saw us..."

018, [Spring City Brings Spring] - 3

Zhuge Papaya had just tasted the supreme pleasure that sex brought him, and at the same time, he felt that the true energy in his dantian was even more abundant. When he saw Zhang Yuqian's charming appearance, his An Lushan-like claws couldn't help but lewdly caress and knead Zhang Yuqian's full breasts, kneading them until she panted and her body trembled slightly. She couldn't help but say coquettishly, "Good brother, good husband, it wouldn't be good if my dad saw us later, let me get up quickly."

Zhuge Papaya didn't tease Zhang Yuqian anymore, but still reluctantly helped Zhang Yuqian put on her clothes, and said happily, "Sister Yuqian, just now, my power increased a lot after what we did, how about you?"

"You little rascal, it's all your fault, and mine too! I feel my inner energy surging like the ocean, my mind is clear, and I can hear sounds from dozens of meters away. Oh no, my dad's coming!"

Actually, Zhuge Mugua had already heard it, but he just wanted to amuse Zhang Yuqian.

A short while later, a hearty laugh came from the downstairs hall: "Yuqian, your dad's back! Come see the fish I caught!"

The two came downstairs one after the other.

When Zhang Honggui saw Zhuge Mugua, his eyes lit up. Having seen countless people, his intuition told him: this young man would definitely be a powerful and influential figure in the future…

"Dad, I missed you so much!" Zhang Yuqian flew into Zhang Honggui's arms like a swallow.

"Okay, okay, I know."

Seeing his daughter reminded Zhang Honggui of his son-in-law, Hong Dafa, who had died mysteriously in Hankou, and he couldn't help but sigh inwardly. He was also eager to know why his daughter was so late. After all, he was a man who had weathered many storms and knew when to express such feelings.

He handed the fishing gear and the fish he had caught to the nanny, then turned to Zhang Yuqian and said, "My dear daughter, come to the study with Daddy. Oh, and by the way, young man, come here too."

Zhang Honggui's study was more like a secret small meeting room than a study. The sounds inside were completely inaudible outside. All the walls of the study were made of high-quality sound-absorbing material, and the floor and ceiling were covered with imported German sound-absorbing material, so the soundproofing was excellent.

Zhang Honggui gestured for the two to sit down, then sat behind his desk, lit a cigarette, took a deep drag, and slowly said, "Yuqian, I know everything about Dafa's affair. Could you tell me what happened?"

Zhang Yuqian said: Hong Dafa received a phone call while having dinner and went to a restaurant. Then, around 10 PM, Hong Dafa suddenly called, telling her and Zhuge Mugua to go to a secret residence, take everything stored there, and leave Hankou immediately. Just as Zhuge Mugua and she entered the highway, they saw a huge explosion in Hankou. She knew nothing more after that.

Zhang Honggui thought for a moment and said, "I think it was caused by that raw stone, a gang fight." He then took a deep drag on his cigarette, slowly exhaling, and said, "After receiving the call about the incident, I immediately had Ade handle all of Dafa's businesses in Hankou. As soon as he arrived, he called me, saying that the restaurant was completely destroyed, and he didn't dare go to the basement. The entire area was under security. I had to have him act covertly and inquire about your whereabouts. But when he arrived at your villa, he found many 'Hui Muslim gang' members moving around there..."

"I left overnight."

"Why did it take so long?" Zhang Honggui knew that something strange must have happened, which was why he asked this question.

"Dad, let Mugua tell you!"

"Hmm!" Zhang Honggui put out his cigarette and looked at Zhuge Mugua.

"Grandpa..."

"Don't call me Grandpa anymore, I'll just adopt you as my godson! You can call me Dad like Yuqian does. How about that?"

Zhuge Mugua couldn't believe his ears. Having been an orphan since childhood, he lacked family affection. Without thinking, he knelt down with a "thump" and said, "Mugua is an orphan, thank you Dad. I have a home! I have a home!"

Zhang Honggui didn't expect Mugua to have such a strong reaction. Moved by Zhuge Mugua's sincerity, he quickly came over and helped Zhuge Mugua up. "Alright, child, tell Dad what happened on the way."

Zhuge Mugua quickly sat up and told him how the two of them were accidentally attracted by the ancient formation—the Bagua Formation—and entered the center of the formation set up by Kongming. He also told him how he and Zhang Yuqian obtained the training method of the "God of War Diagram." However, he didn't mention some things, namely the treasure inside and Kongming's formation of an energy body due to the cleansing of the three spiritual jades. In fact, he didn't mention this in order not to let more people know and not to let more innocent people be implicated. Zhang Yuqian listened from the side, understanding Zhuge Mugua's meaning.

Zhang Honggui's brow relaxed slightly after hearing this. Although he didn't believe in gods or ghosts, he did believe in the saying, "The world is full of wonders."

A moment later, the study fell silent.

After a long silence, Zhang Honggui broke it: "Have you thought about how to handle this matter?"

"An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth. I want them to pay a price far exceeding human lives." Zhuge Mugua's eyes flashed with a sharp light, his icy words seemingly squeezed out from between his teeth.

“That won’t do. We need to come up with a foolproof plan.” Zhang Honggui said, picking up the phone and pressing a button. “Agang, come to the study for a moment.”

“Okay.”

Zhang Honggui gestured for Agang to sit down after he entered, and said with a serious expression, “You know about what happened a while ago when I sent Ade to Hankou, right?”

Seeing Zhang Honggui’s serious expression, Agang thought that something serious must have happened. Otherwise, given his boss’s years of experience in the underworld, he wouldn’t be like this. He had been Zhang Honggui’s bodyguard for seven or eight years, and had only entered this secret room twice. So he nodded.

Zhang Honggui recounted what had happened to Hong Dafa in Hankou. Unexpectedly, A-Gang jumped up from the sofa upon hearing this, shouting, "Damn it, the 'Hui Gang'! I'll take a few brothers and wipe out those bastards!"

Zhang Honggui waved his hand, saying, "A-Gang, I know Dafa has been kind to you. We can't just act recklessly."

"What do you mean, sir..."

"Plan before you act," Zhang Honggui said meaningfully. "The 'Hui Gang' has long resided in the Northwest, and they have considerable support from various quarters. We can't suppress them on our own. Besides, there's the 'Northwest Wolf,' a vicious gang. We can't be careless."

"I think so too," Zhuge Mugua said.

“Brother Mugua, without Brother Dafa, there would be no me, Agang, today. I must avenge Dafa.”

“Brother Agang, we need to plan our revenge carefully. If we act rashly, it will trigger a series of reactions and put us in a passive position.” Zhuge Mugua paused for a moment and continued, “Although we have a lot of influence in Yunnan, it is only limited to this small place. I think we should have our own real power, that is, we need a group of assassins who are loyal to us.”

“Brother Mugua, our brothers here are just roughnecks, they don’t know how to plan, but they are all very loyal. I think they are absolutely reliable.”

“Reliability is only one aspect. Another is ensuring your own safety without sacrificing your brothers’ lives. Only when you are safe can you complete the mission better. Brother Gang, don’t you agree?”

“Yes, my former instructor said that whatever we do, we need to develop a feasible plan, leaving no room for error.”

“Brother Gang, you’re right. Nothing is absolutely perfect, only relative. What we need to do is obtain what we deserve in the simplest, most effective, and least casualty way.”

Zhang Honggui listened quietly to their argument, valuing Zhuge Mugua’s talent even more. Zhang Yuqian’s beautiful eyes shone with pride at her choice.

"Good!" Zhang Honggui exclaimed. "Agang, I think Mugua is right. As the saying goes, 'Even a mighty dragon can't suppress a local snake.' We're going from afar, to unfamiliar territory, and everything we do will be watched by their spies."

"Grandpa, what do we do then? Are we just going to let Brother Dafa's revenge go?"

Zhang Honggui shook his head and said, "A gentleman takes revenge even after ten years, but we don't need ten. I think three years is enough."

"That long?!"

"Agang, have you forgotten? You used to be a professional assassin?"

"I remember! Does it have anything to do with my previous work in the army?"

"Brother Agang, Grandpa means you should find a way to contact your former comrades and then train a group of trustworthy brothers to be assassins."

"I understand." After a little guidance from Zhuge Mugua, Agang knew what he had to do. He patted his head and said, "Grandpa, I'll go make the contact right now!"

Zhang Honggui watched Agang's departing figure and smiled slightly. He had reason to believe that under Zhuge Mugua's guidance, Agang would definitely become a capable person in the future. Zhang Honggui knew his life was coming to an end. On the surface, he appeared radiant and full of energy, but he knew best that his youthful involvement in jade gambling had affected him, corrupting his constitution with the spiritual energy of various stones. His bodily functions were declining day by day, and he might pass away at any moment. His greatest concern now was for his daughter. Although his son-in-law was gone, his daughter remained, giving him hope. He was also grateful for the good fortune bestowed upon him such a wise and capable son, skilled in martial arts. Even his daughter had learned profound martial arts. He could leave this world without regrets…

“Dad, what are you thinking about?” Zhang Yuqian asked playfully.

“Oh!” Zhang Honggui snapped out of his reverie, looking at the two of them. “Yuqian, your little brother Mugua has just arrived in Kunming. As his older sister, you must take him around. I want to see this plan in five days.”

“Dad, you…you annoying old man!” Zhang Yuqian persisted, pouting.

"Alright, you, a top student in Chinese literature, must carefully consider this plan, leaving no loopholes. Alright, this old man is a bit tired, I need to rest for a while. You two siblings should think it over carefully."

"Mugua, do you want your sister to go for a walk with you? Kunming's night view is so enchanting!"

"Sister Yuqian, you rest a while, I can walk around the streets by myself."

"Then sister won't go with you. But?" Zhang Yuqian said with a charming smile, "But seeing how well-behaved my little brother is, sister will take you to the Western Hills scenic area in Kunming tomorrow."

Zhuge Mugua looked at Zhang Yuqian's charming and lovely appearance, wishing he could immediately hug her and cherish her. Unexpectedly, Zhang Yuqian had already seen through Zhuge Mugua's intentions, and ran into her bedroom with a coquettish laugh.

Zhuge Mugua left the villa area and soon entered Chunxi Road, the area known for its abundance of Kunming's unique snacks. He strolled along, browsing the beautifully decorated and alluring women's lingerie shops. He couldn't help but imagine what Zhang Yuqian's stunning figure would look like in those sexy and alluring lingerie pieces. His gaze eventually stopped in front of a lingerie shop called "Dark Fragrance and Lightness."

Zhuge Mugua didn't know this wasn't a place men usually frequented, but he went in anyway. Although the shop wasn't large, it was exquisitely decorated, clearly indicating the owner had a zest for life. Zhuge Mugua didn't care about that; he was simply captivated by the sexy lingerie. Someone noticed

him as soon as he entered—the owner, of course. The owner was a beautiful woman in her twenties who had run the lingerie shop for over three years. Men rarely visited, and when they did, they were always in pairs. It was the first time a man had entered alone, which was quite unusual.

To her, everyone who came in was a customer, a god. She quickly went up to him: "Sir, is there anything you need?"

"Oh, oh, oh!" Zhuge Mugua, reminded by the shop owner, stammered, "I just came in to take a look."

"Sir, my name is He Liwen, I'm the owner here. You're buying underwear for your girlfriend, right?"

Zhuge Mugua hadn't expected this woman to actually give him a way out, so he quickly nodded.

"Sir, may I ask your girlfriend's height and measurements?"

Hearing this, Zhuge Mugua was at a loss for words. His eyes fell on He Liwen's high, firm breasts. He Liwen blushed instantly. She was very confident and proud of her breasts.

Although it was just getting dark, the temperature in Kunming was still quite high. He Liwen wore a pink long dress with high buttons that revealed a heart shape, exposing a deep cleavage and most of her snow-white breasts, making one's heart flutter.

Zhuge Mugua dared not look any longer. He couldn't guarantee that if he continued looking, he wouldn't commit a crime.

Seeing his reaction, He Liwen couldn't help but giggle. She knew he was comparing her breasts to her girlfriend's. She didn't reply, but followed behind Zhuge Mugua, constantly explaining which outfits were suitable and attractive.

Just then, a woman entered. She was quite beautiful, very feminine, and possessed an elegant and noble air. She didn't look her age; she appeared to be in her late thirties or early twenties. She was dressed fashionably in a black halter-neck dress that accentuated her fair and delicate skin. A platinum diamond pendant necklace adorned her long, smooth neck; the diamonds were likely several carats, clearly indicating a high price. Upon

seeing this, He Liwen quickly said to Zhuge Mugua, "Sir, please take your time looking around. A guest has arrived."

Zhuge Mugua nodded, but his gaze remained fixed on the woman.

The elegant and sophisticated woman was quite generous, carefully selecting lingerie from the shelves. She hadn't been browsing for long before choosing two sets: a semi-transparent pink crystal silk lingerie and a light purple ultra-thin lace-trimmed sheer lingerie. Without going to the fitting room, she directly asked the price and bought them.

She quickly paid, turned, and passed by Zhuge Mugua, glancing at him casually with a slight smile. Of course, being admired by a man should be a source of pride and joy, especially by a man much younger than herself—a rather attractive young man, or rather, a boy…

The woman's presence was ethereal, and a subtle fragrance lingered in the shop, the intoxicating scent she left behind lingering in the room. Zhuge Mugua sniffed, then turned back to the items…

In the end, Zhuge Mugua didn't buy anything, but he resolved in his heart that he must accompany Zhang Yuqian to buy a set here in the future. He Liwen watched his departing figure, a pang of disappointment welling up inside her. For reasons unknown, she gave him her business card; perhaps in her mind, this young man would definitely come back…

Unbeknownst to him, Zhuge Mugua had been wandering the streets for nearly two hours. He finally felt bored; how wonderful it would be to come out with Sister Yuqian!

Thinking it, he acted immediately. Not knowing which street he had turned into, he resorted to the oldest method: he went to a relatively secluded alley with few pedestrians. Looking around and seeing no one paying attention, he disregarded the need to cause a stir and unleashed his light-footed skill, flying like a wisp of smoke towards the Yihe New District…

The few pedestrians on the road only felt a slight breeze brush past them, unaware that he was flying. If it were daytime, wouldn't that be terrifying? Zhuge Mugua didn't enter directly through the main gate. Instead, he quietly landed at the rear left of the villa, right below Zhang Yuqian's bedroom. Looking up, he saw that his own bedroom was dark, only Yuqian's was lit. A smile crept onto his lips, and he vanished in a flash.

Zhuge Mugua was now in the second-floor living room. Zhang Yuqian's door was open. He smiled and tiptoed inside. Zhang Yuqian, unaware of Zhuge Mugua's return, was engrossed in writing something on her computer, completely oblivious to the intruder. With her exceptional skills, no sound within twenty meters could escape her ears. Perhaps she thought she was in her own home, or perhaps she was simply too focused to notice.

Zhuge Mugua quietly reached out from behind Zhang Yuqian and suddenly hugged her slender waist, whispering, "Sister Yuqian, aren't you going to rest?"

Zhang Yuqian didn't need to guess who it was, but she still deliberately acted coquettishly and said, "Where did this little rascal come from!"

"Of course, it's your little lecherous husband."

"Little rascal!" Zhang Yuqian was almost unable to control herself because of the masculine scent, and changed her voice, "Mugua, sister, go take a shower now and get ready to rest. You just went out for a walk, so you should take a shower too. Get some rest, and tomorrow we'll go to Xishan Scenic Area, okay?"

"Okay!" Zhuge Mugua said ingratiatingly, "I'll go run the hot water." Saying that, she ran to the bathroom and started running the hot water.

"Sister Yuqian, come and take a shower!"

Zhang Yuqian got up and walked into the bathroom. "You little rascal, what are you doing here?"

Zhuge Mugua said with a wicked smile, "Sister, don't worry, I definitely won't look, I definitely won't peek."

020, [Spring City Brings Spring] - 5

"You little rascal, get out!" Zhang Yuqian said coquettishly as she took off her pink suspender dress, leaving only a pair of white lace panties that tightly wrapped around the most mysterious part of a woman's body, highlighting the slight protrusion and outlining a narrow slit in the middle. Her full and perky breasts were covered by a black lace bra, which made her snow-white body look even more fresh and bright. Her long black hair cascaded over her shoulders, exuding both youthful beauty and a mature, sophisticated charm. Perhaps out of shyness, her face flushed. As she undressed, she said, "Don't look, don't look! You little rascal, get out of here!"

Zhuge Mugua couldn't resist embracing Zhang Yuqian, kissing her cherry lips, and sucking on her sweet, smooth tongue. His large hands began to caress and knead her snow-white, perky breasts, which were barely concealed by her black lace bra.

Zhang Yuqian let out a soft moan and pushed Zhuge Mugua out forcefully, panting and scolding, "Get out! You little rascal, you'll only cause trouble here!" She slammed the bathroom door shut.

Zhuge Mugua opened Zhang Yuqian's wardrobe, looking at the women's underwear inside: all kinds of the thinnest and smoothest sexy stockings in black, white, transparent flesh-colored, gray, purple, and coffee-colored stockings; there were bodysuits, lace stockings with garters supporting four bones, or stockings with cutouts revealing the pubic area. He imagined Zhang Yuqian and He Liwen from the "Hidden Fragrance and Lightness" lingerie boutique wearing stockings, exuding seductive charm...

Just as Zhuge Mugua was lost in thought, he heard Zhang Yuqian say from the bathroom, "Mugua, I forgot to bring my underwear. Help me pick some."

"Okay, I'll definitely pick the sexiest set."

"You little rascal, don't talk nonsense." Zhang Yuqian said coquettishly...

Zhuge Mugua hugged Zhang Yuqian and sat on the bed, looking at the "Jade Maiden Heart Sutra," trying to find some important clues for practicing the techniques. But Zhuge Mugua's mind wasn't on that at all; he only wanted to kiss Zhang Yuqian.

"Sister Yuqian, why did you buy so many underwear?" Clearly, Zhuge Mugua was just making conversation.

Zhang Yuqian was secretly delighted, but she playfully retorted, "This is a woman's prerogative! And other women probably can't even match me! This is my forte!"

With great interest, Zhang Yuqian enthusiastically described the features of various women's underwear to Zhuge Mugua: winding embroidered roses, exquisitely delicate lace trim, small silk ribbon bows, and soft chiffon—this was a woman's secret garden, constantly filled with romance and boundless allure, creating a beautiful inner charm every moment; the delicate bows at the neck added a fresh and vibrant element to the pink color, perfect for a modern city; the myriad tenderness of lace was painted with a slightly subdued elegance by the sweet pink. A youthful and adorable feel; pale blue, inspired by the ocean, intertwines with delicate pink to create a fresh and romantic early spring atmosphere; vibrant pink flowers subtly reveal a glimpse of cuteness, creating an unexpected and stunning effect; roses spreading amidst the delicate pink evoke the image of a princess from an exotic castle, exuding a glamorous sexiness within their understated elegance; mysterious black meets tender pink, surrounded by delicate lace trim, maximizing the noble princess aura; soft pink and emerald green scattered throughout the pale pink hues outline a rich Chinese charm, an irresistible allure; a corset with a shaping effect, adorned with sequins on the chest, adds a touch of classic luxury. The patchwork print pattern elongates the upper body's curves, creating a dazzling, floral effect; the cute polka dots on the chiffon exude a sweet, girlish charm, pleasing the eye; various flowers shimmering on bright red blocks are imbued with a vibrant, luscious red; when elements like polka dots, checks, and bows are cleverly blended together, it evokes the elegant sweetheart of the 1950s, radiating an irresistible, graceful allure; the nightgown, inlaid with delicate textures, floats on the sweetness of chiffon, making it even more exquisite, like a cute little dress.

Zhuge Mugua listened with increasing fascination, and his erection grew even more pronounced.

"You little rascal, what are you thinking about now?" Zhang Yuqian could feel that huge, pointed erection swaying incessantly against her thigh.

"Sister, I want it, I want it..."

Zhang Yuqian blushed instantly and offered her red lips...

This night was destined to be filled with spring, extremely fragrant and sensual, the whole room resounding with Zhang Yuqian's alluring moans...

As the passion subsided, Zhang Yuqian lay in Zhuge Mugua's arms with her eyes half-closed...

Zhuge Mugua inadvertently saw the open "Jade Maiden Heart Sutra," and now the situation was different, with writing appearing. He couldn't help but exclaim in surprise, "Sister Yuqian, look, there are words on the 'Jade Maiden Heart Sutra'!"

Zhang Yuqian, no longer caring about being naked, sat up and said in surprise, "How can there be words on it? We've been looking at it for so long and didn't notice, how did this happen?"

Zhuge Mugua picked up the book and saw a puddle of water where the words appeared. He suddenly realized the reason: it turned out that the water from their intercourse had fallen onto the book and revealed the words. This was his guess. Without thinking, he reached between Zhang Yuqian's legs.

Zhang Yuqian blushed even more, and then she guessed the secret. She couldn't help but say coquettishly, "The person who wrote this book must be a big pervert."

Zhuge Mugua didn't speak, but carefully smeared all the pages with their fluids. Sure enough, the words slowly appeared. Zhuge Mugua was even more delighted and couldn't help but laugh: "Sister Yuqian, now I understand, this 'Jade Maiden Heart Sutra' is a true Tantric dual cultivation technique."

Zhang Yuqian also found it strange, so she snuggled tightly into Zhuge Mugua's arms and said, "Good little brother, good Mugua, tell your sister, okay?"

"No, 'sister' doesn't sound nice enough," Zhuge Mugua teased her deliberately.

"You're so annoying!" Zhang Yuqian gave him a flirtatious glare, her voice soft and delicate. "Little husband, you lecherous husband, are you going to tell your Yuqian wife? Does she want to hear it?"

Zhuge Mugua was aroused by her seductive words, his large hands kneading Zhang Yuqian's firm breasts...

After another tender moment, Zhuge Mugua began to share some anecdotes about Tibetan Buddhism:

"The art of dual cultivation doesn't refer to sexual intercourse between men and women. It's actually a profound science. As the saying goes, 'When yin and yang are in harmony, all diseases will not arise.' The *Jade Maiden Heart Sutra* is actually a version of the ancient *Plain Maiden Scripture*, but they are different."

"Mugua, I've heard of the *Plain Maiden Scripture*. I used to think it was just a book about that kind of thing, but I never imagined it had so much to teach."

"During the Ming Dynasty, the art of the bedroom was prevalent. It was a branch of dual cultivation, but feudal emperors misunderstood its meaning, interpreting it as sexual pleasure. The art of the bedroom is the Way of Yellow and Red, the method of mixing Qi, the art of male and female Qi union, a health-preserving technique advocated by Taoism in male-female sexual life. Taoism believes that essence, Qi, and spirit are the 'three treasures' of life; sufficient essence leads to abundant Qi, and abundant Qi leads to a vigorous spirit. If one can maintain a state of sufficient essence, abundant Qi, and vigorous spirit, one will inevitably be healthy and long-lived, even achieving immortality; conversely, constantly depleting these three treasures will inevitably lead to illness and premature death. Therefore, it emphasizes 'cherishing Qi, respecting the spirit, and valuing essence,' and focuses on the cultivation techniques of valuing and cherishing essence."

...

021, [Spring City Brings Spring]—Chapter 6

Yuqian did not disturb Zhuge Mugua, quietly listening to these bizarre interpretations, which some called the epitome of lust.

The art of the bedroom originated from the Warring States period's immortalist school. According to the research of Mr. Meng Wentong, the Daoist school of the late Zhou Dynasty was divided into three schools: Qi cultivation (including guiding exercises), elixirs, and sexual techniques. Qi cultivation and guiding exercises originated in Ba-Shu (Sichuan and Chongqing), with Peng Zu, Wang Qiao, and Chi Songzi as their founders. Elixirs flourished in Qi-Lu (Shandong and Shandong), with Xianmen and An Qisheng as its core figures. Sexual techniques originated in Qin (Shaanxi), represented by Rong Cheng and Wu Chengzi.

The *Book of Han, Treatise on Literature* records eight schools of sexual techniques, totaling 186 volumes: *Rong Cheng Yin Dao* (26 volumes), *Wu Cheng Zi Yin Dao* (16 volumes), *Yao Shun Yin Dao* (26 volumes), *Tang Pan Geng Yin Dao* (20 volumes), *Tian Lao Za Zi Yin Dao* (25 volumes), *Tian Yi Yin Dao* (24 volumes), *Huangdi San Wang Yang Yang Fang* (20 volumes), and *San Jia Nei Fang You Zi Fang* (17 volumes). This indicates that sexual techniques were very popular from the Warring States period to the Qin and Han dynasties. All of the above books have been lost. In 1973, a large number of silk manuscripts and some bamboo and wooden slips were unearthed from Han Tomb No. 3 at Mawangdui in Changsha. After sorting, fifteen medical works were discovered, five of which were treatises on sexual techniques, named: *Ten Questions*, *Harmony of Yin and Yang*, *Discourse on the Supreme Way of the World*, *Prescriptions for Nourishing Life*, and *Miscellaneous Therapies*. These are the earliest extant works on sexual techniques in China, providing a general overview of the basic content of sexual techniques from the pre-Qin period to the early Han dynasty.

Early Taoism, in its comprehensive inheritance of the arts of the Immortal Way, incorporated sexual techniques into its Taoist system. The earliest established Five Pecks of Rice sect introduced this technique, combining it with breathing exercises and incantations. During the Wei and Jin dynasties, many Taoist priests and practitioners of magic arts practiced this art. Among the large number of magicians recruited by Cao Cao, "Gan Shi, Zuo Yuanfang, and Dongguo Yannian practiced the Rongcheng method of controlling women, and were recorded by the Prime Minister." Later, Zuo Yuanfang (also known as Zuo Ci) passed it on to Zheng Yin, who in turn passed it on to Ge Hong. Ge Hong's *Baopuzi: Xialan* records several books on sexual techniques, including *Xuan Nu Jing*, *Su Nu Jing*, *Peng Zu Jing*, *Zi Du Jing*, *Tian Men Zi Jing*, and *Rong Cheng Jing*.

This shows that sexual techniques were very popular during the Han, Wei, and Jin dynasties. After the Eastern Jin dynasty, some Daoist sects and priests opposed sexual techniques. For example, the Shangqing sect, which emerged in the mid-Eastern Jin, advocated meditation and breath control, and denigrated the practice of sexual techniques. When Kou Qianzhi of the Northern Wei dynasty reformed the Northern Celestial Masters sect, he called sexual techniques "the false methods of the Three Zhangs" and demanded that male and female Daoist officials "change their registration to sexual techniques." However, from the Jin dynasty to the Northern and Southern dynasties, sexual techniques did not disappear, regardless of whether they existed within or outside Daoism. Tao Hongjing, a great physician and famous Daoist of the Southern Liang dynasty, dedicated a chapter to the *Yu Nu Sun Yi Pian* (Treatise on the Benefits and Drawbacks of Sexual Intercourse) in his *Yang Xing Yan Ming Lu* (Record of Nourishing Life and Prolonging Life) to expound on sexual techniques.

Both the *Old Book of Tang* and the *New Book of Tang* record in their respective medical sections a separate work on sexual techniques: Ge's *Jade Chamber Secrets* (one volume) and Chonghezi's *Jade Chamber Secret Records* (eight volumes). This indicates that sexual techniques continued to be popular during the Tang Dynasty. However, in the Song Dynasty, with the rise of Neo-Confucianism and the advocacy of "preserving heavenly principles and eliminating human desires," sexual techniques became the first target of attack. Furthermore, some people at the time deliberately promoted the dregs of sexual techniques, reducing them to obscene arts of womanizing. Under these circumstances, sexual techniques were rejected by society, and many people dared not or disdained to practice or study them. The *History of Song* and other historical records no longer list new books on sexual techniques, and most ancient books from before the Tang Dynasty were lost, causing sexual techniques to gradually disappear.

Until the late Qing Dynasty, Ye Dehui compiled one volume each of *Su Nu Jing*, *Su Nu Fang*, *Yu Fang Mi Jue* (with *Yu Fang Zhi Yao*), *Dong Xuan Zi*, and *Tian Di Yin Yang Jiao Huan Da Le Fu* from *Yi Xin Fang* by the 10th-century Japanese scholar Tanba Yasuyori and Tang Dynasty medical prescriptions, including them in the *Shuang Mei Jing An Cong Shu*. Through these fragments, people were able to glimpse the appearance of pre-Tang Dynasty sexual manuals.

The essence of sexual techniques was to harmonize Yin and Yang for health, possessing some rational core principles:

moderation and careful application of sexual techniques generally did not advocate abstinence, but only moderation. Based on the theory of Yin and Yang, they believed that the union of men and women was a natural law, and that applying it correctly was beneficial to physical and mental health; forced abstinence, on the contrary, was harmful. Ge Hong believed that "one cannot completely abstain from Yin and Yang; if Yin and Yang do not interact, one will suffer from stagnation and illness"; however, one should not indulge in desire, but must exercise restraint. If one "indulges in desires, it will shorten one's lifespan. Only by achieving moderation and harmony can one avoid harm."

Hearing this, Zhang Yuqian gained a deeper understanding of the art of dual cultivation, realizing it wasn't what people imagined. But what about the Tibetan Tantric dual cultivation—was it also a branch?

"Mugua, then what exactly is the Tibetan Tantric dual cultivation?"

"I don't know much about that either; my master told me everything." Zhuge Mugua genuinely didn't understand the Tibetan Tantric dual cultivation, only able to speak from what his master had said. "Highest Yoga Tantra believes that the sexual potential 'Kundalini' dormant within the body's chakras must be stimulated and awakened by the sexual energy generated during the intercourse of the Vidyaraja and Vidyaraja. In other words, they believe that the sex hormones and energy produced during sexual intercourse are most likely to stimulate the body's potential. They believe that when a person reaches sexual arousal during intercourse, the subtle energy point in the mind and the intention..." The thought is that all the energy in the body flows downwards and gathers below the navel. The so-called 'bindu' is an ancient Indian yogic concept, referring to the condensation point of life energy and fluids in the human body. Some bindus are similar to the 'jing' (essence) in Taoist internal alchemy, hence the translations 'jing,' 'zhenjing,' and 'zhenhuo.' The 'imperishable bindu' is similar to the 'yuanjing' and 'zhenjing' in Taoist internal alchemy, the foundation of human life and consciousness, indestructible throughout life, derived from the father's sperm and mother's blood, a combination of the 'alaya-vijnana' (storehouse consciousness) at the bottom of consciousness and the life force, residing in the central channel (southern channel), changing and moving within the central channel according to a person's psychological and physiological activities.

"When sexual desire arises and gradually reaches its climax, the imperishable bindu descends from the crown chakra to the throat chakra, heart chakra, and navel chakra. At this time, all the consciousness and energy in the body gather in one place. If cultivated and regulated through yoga, it can transform and generate wisdom. Tantric Buddhism also believes that when a person ejaculates during intercourse, releasing sexual energy and enabling the woman to conceive and give birth, sexual energy is transferred to the offspring." Tantric practitioners of dual cultivation stimulate their internal sexual energy through sexual intercourse, but do not ejaculate. Instead, they use their intention to activate the power of the vajra chakra to stimulate and awaken the "Kundalini serpent." The *Hata Yoga Lamp* states: "Those who know yoga should preserve their essence. Those who deplete their essence die, those who preserve their essence live." This concept is entirely consistent with the Taoist internal alchemy belief that a person's yang essence, "when given to others, brings life; when given to oneself, one becomes an immortal."

"When a Tantric practitioner awakens the dormant 'Kundalini Serpent' on their chakra through the energy generated by sexual intercourse, the serpent's head begins to rise from its lowered position, spewing forth Kundalini fire. Through continuous focus, mantra recitation, and breathwork, the golden serpent's body gradually straightens and surges upwards, the Kundalini fire becoming increasingly bright, intense, and brilliant. Passing through the chakras, it ascends along the central channel, reaching the crown chakra and merging with the bindu (light point), melting the knot at the exit of the central channel of the crown chakra—the 'white bodhi.' At this point, the left, middle, and right channels are connected, nectar drips down, all energy is drawn into the central channel, and the practitioner connects with Brahma, achieving oneness with the divine. At this time, the Tantric practitioner experiences a state of great bliss, undergoing profound physiological and psychological changes, entering a deep state of concentration, attaining a meditative state of emptiness, clarity, bliss, and non-thought.

The Tantric dual cultivation theory and the Taoist sexual cultivation theory are essentially interconnected."

"Now I understand how female physiological imbalances are formed." "Zhang Yuqian sighed, "A woman's most beautiful moment is when she enjoys the happiest and most primal aspects of life. Knowing when to indulge and when to restrain oneself."

"You're teachable, you understand everything." Suddenly, Kongming's voice rang out in the room.

The two jumped in surprise; being naked, they would be incredibly embarrassed if seen.

"Kids, I've brought back everything I promised you. It's in the underground garage. I won't beat you anymore; I need to continue my cultivation." Kongming vanished without a trace, clearly having also retrieved the enormous ten-thousand-year-old spirit jade.

"Tomorrow, world-renowned superstar Hua Meilin will be performing in Kunming and holding a charity banquet, making a donation to Hope Primary Schools in the West..."

The two were suddenly drawn to the entertainment news on TV.

"I want to see it! I want to see it! I couldn't go last year, I must go this time. Mugua, are you going?"

"With such a beautiful wife and sister, Mugua would be more than happy to go. " "

...

022, 〖Spring City Brings Spring〗-7

& The two put the book away, planning to study it later. They were too tired now and needed to rest; they were going out for a trip tomorrow.

They slept in silence, embracing each other, and soon drifted into a sweet dream.

In the morning, a ray of sunlight shone through the pink curtains into the room. Zhang Meiqian opened her eyes and found that Zhuge Mugua was already up. Thinking of their passionate encounter the previous night, her face flushed. She stood naked in front of the large mirror, looking at her alluring body: her firm, rounded breasts trembled gently, her mysterious... A patch of dark, fragrant grass in the corner further fueled her imagination. She quickly pulled out a white lace bra and matching thong from her wardrobe, then admired her alluring figure in the large mirror, a seductive smile playing on her lips. She then put on a pink tracksuit, the kind she wore for casual outings, before going downstairs, satisfied.

Zhuge Mugua was sitting on the sofa reading the morning paper when she heard the sound of someone coming downstairs. "Sister, breakfast is on the table. Dad told us to attend the charity donation banquet for Queen Hua Meilin at seven o'clock tonight."

"Really!?" Zhang Yuqian picked up the invitation and glanced at it. "Mugua, can we go to the Xishan Scenic Area first, and then go there directly tonight?"

"Whatever my wife Yuqian says," Zhuge Mugua said playfully.

"You little rascal. I'm not talking to you anymore." "Zhang Yuqian pouted and started eating her breakfast...

The two arrived at the underground parking garage and immediately spotted the red Ferrari parked there, with an Iveco van next to it. Inside must be the gifts Kongming had given them.

Zhuge Mugua opened the Iveco's door and saw several large iron boxes inside. One of the large boxes emitted an aura that only he and Zhang Yuqian could sense—the spiritual energy emanating from the luminous pearls. He opened it and saw that it was full of luminous pearls of various sizes. Zhuge Mugua casually grabbed a handful and put them in his pocket, to use at the charity donation banquet that evening.

"Mugua, get in the car!" Zhang Yuqian had already climbed into the driver's seat of her Ferrari.

"Sister, I'm coming." Zhuge Mugua locked the car door and swiftly entered the passenger seat.

Xishan is located 15 kilometers west of Kunming, composed of Huating Mountain, Taihua Mountain, Luohan Mountain, and others. Its peaks stretch for over 40 kilometers, with an altitude ranging from 1900 to 2350 meters. Legend has it that a phoenix once perched there, but those who saw it did not recognize it and called it the Jade Chicken, hence the name Jade Chicken Mountain. It is also called Wofo Mountain (Sleeping Buddha Mountain) because its shape resembles a reclining Buddha.

"Sister, is Xishan Scenic Area fun?"

"It's the most famous scenic area in Kunming. Let me tell you: Xishan has dense forests, abundant flowers and plants, and is serene and beautiful, with excellent scenery. In ancient times, it was known as 'the best scenic spot in central Yunnan.' Looking southeast from Kunming, Xishan resembles a beautiful woman lying on both sides of Dianchi Lake. Her head, chest, abdomen, and legs are clearly visible, and her flowing black hair is reflected in the shimmering water of Dianchi Lake, making her appear graceful and charming, hence the name Sleeping Beauty." According to folklore, in ancient times, a princess, unable to bear the loneliness of the palace, secretly left and married a young man. Later, the king broke up this happy marriage and tricked the young man into death. The princess was heartbroken and wept incessantly; her tears formed Dianchi Lake, and she fell backward, transforming into Xishan Mountain. Xishan has now been developed into a forest park with many scenic spots. Every year in March, Kunming residents have the custom of "playing on Xishan on the third day of the third lunar month," when people from all directions gather to sing folk songs, recite ditties, perform dragon and lion dances, picnic, and enjoy the scenery—a truly lively event. Climbing Xishan's Longmen Gate to watch the sunrise, facing the vast expanse of Dianchi Lake, is breathtaking and inspires endless imagination. The tomb of the famous people's musician Nie Er is also located in the park. Besides the aforementioned attractions, the most precious thing about Xishan Forest Park is the incredibly fresh air in the forest. The feeling of overlooking Dianchi Lake and even the entire city of Kunming from above is unique. It is also a great place for spring outings. The ancient temples and pavilions such as Huating Temple, Taihua Temple, and Sanqing Pavilion are particularly famous. Perhaps we can meet a highly virtuous monk there.”

“I think so. These famous temples are sure to have virtuous monks.”

The 15-kilometer distance is less than half an hour for a sports car like a Ferrari. Zhang Yuqian parked the car in the parking lot at the foot of the mountain and handed her small hand to Zhuge Mugua, saying, “Mugua, hold your sister’s hand. I don’t want other beauties to steal the little rascal’s soul.”

“It’s not stealing my soul, it’s because Mugua is charming, of course he’s loved by beauties.”

“You vain little devil, you little rascal!” Zhang Yuqian knew that she, as a woman, could not possibly satisfy Zhuge Mugua's intense desires, especially since they both practiced dual cultivation techniques, and Zhuge Mugua's sexual desire was growing stronger, which she found difficult to bear. However, she also did not want any disreputable women to enter Zhuge Mugua's life. She was determined to carefully select any women who wanted to get close to him, otherwise, it would ultimately be her beloved Mugua who would be affected.

Zhang Yuqian and Zhuge Mugua first arrived at the Sanqing Pavilion halfway up the mountain. As Zhang Yuqian explained, she pointed out the pavilions: "The Sanqing Pavilion is a nine-story, eleven-pavilion Taoist temple complex, layered and embedded on the cliff face, forming a 'hanging temple' in a perilous situation." According to the "Unofficial History of Nanzhao," in April of the 27th year of the Yuan Dynasty's Zhizheng era (1367), it was the birthday of Liang King Timur Buqa. His ministers offered their congratulations and held a banquet at the Liang King's summer palace on Kunming Lake. There is a poem titled "Presented at the Liang King's Birthday Banquet on Kunming Lake": "

The wise ruler adds years to his life, and the palace is first built on the shore of the giant sea."

A clear sky stretches for miles, a tapestry of beauty unfolds; fragrant grasses tread

upon the land of the mythical beast. Warm songs and music accompany golden cups of wine;

armored figures, adorned with jade pendants, stand guard. The officials, drunk and satisfied,

bow in unison, wishing the King a long and healthy life, exceeding a thousand springs. During the birthday banquet of King Timur of Liang in the twenty-seventh year of the Zhizheng era, the summer palace was already described as having "a vast seaside pavilion," indicating that its construction began no later than the reign of King Timur Buqa. In the same year of his birthday celebration, Timur Buqa died, and his clansman, Bazarawami, succeeded him as King of Liang, changing the era name to "Xuanguang," assuming imperial power, appointing officials, and restoring the imperial examination system. Bazarawami was the last King of Liang of Yunnan.

"Wow, there are so many stories behind it!" Zhuge Mugua said, carrying a magnificent hall in front of them. "Sister, is that the place where the Three Pure Ones are enshrined?"

"Mugua, the Three Pure Ones Pavilion is actually a Taoist temple, and that hall is also called the 'Three Pure Ones Temple.' Let's go take a look."

There are two ways to get to the Three Pure Ones Temple from the Three Pure Ones Pavilion. One is the main road, which is a bit longer, and the other is a bit more secluded and closer. Most people take the main road to the Three Pure Ones Temple. Although it's longer, you can see more scenery. Zhang Yuqian and Zhuge Mugua chose the smaller path.

The path was overgrown with trees. Seeing no one else on the path, Zhuge Mugua's lust was rekindled. He reached out and embraced Zhang Yuqian's slender waist, saying tenderly, "Sister, you're so kind. I don't know when I, Mugua, accumulated such good fortune."

Zhang Yuqian also embraced Zhuge Mugua, softly saying, "Mugua, after Dafa left, my heart was ashen. But I never expected to meet you, little brother, and

I've been able to pull myself together again." The two embraced tightly, looking at each other, their eyes meeting, exchanging unspoken words, as if the whole world had vanished, leaving only the warmth and wonderful feeling between them.

In this moment, silence spoke louder than words.
