[Fantasy] Gods and Demons Among Flowers (Complete) - 11

Chapter 52: The Unlucky Hosblack

Incident. After the turmoil, the entire palace was freed from its previous gloom, decorated with lanterns and streamers, exuding a festive atmosphere, for today was the joyous occasion of Doris and the Holy King's wedding. Inside the palace hall, Emperor Arthur, Queen Faith, and numerous princes and ministers raised their cups to toast me. Despite not being a heavy drinker, I was "bewitched" by the enthusiastic crowd, drinking cup after cup of this intoxicating wine, so much so that I didn't even realize when I returned to the government office.

The next day, when I woke up dizzy and rubbing my head, I was shocked to find myself lying among a group of women. The spoiled Doris, the serene Lia, the elegant Lilia, the domineering Vivian—each woman displayed a languid beauty, leaving me speechless and drooling. Later, when I asked my wives, I learned that after getting drunk that night, I was helped back to the King's Palace by the women, where I went on a rampage, displaying my true lecherous nature by groping and teasing them. The easily offended Kana, sensing the situation was getting out of hand, made an excuse and ran away. The four women I had slept with, fearing I might do something inappropriate in a moment of passion, endured their shame and stayed behind. Ultimately, they couldn't escape my clutches and were favored by me. Thus, my wedding night with Doris became my wedding night with the four beauties.

As I surveyed the new bed, I couldn't help but admire my father-in-law's shrewd calculations. He seemed to have known all along that I was a womanizer, a philanderer, and that it was impossible for his daughter alone to hold my heart. So, he had a luxurious jade bed built in advance, large enough for ten or so people to sleep together. His intentions were obvious to everyone, yet we all fell into the trap he had set for us. It could only be said that fate had other plans. Since I'm here, I might as well accept it—that's my consistent principle. Since my father-in-law has such plans, I won't interfere; I'll just go with the flow. I believe his intentions are entirely for the sake of his only daughter, Princess Doris, which is indeed understandable. After all, which nation wouldn't want to win over a talent like me, a Saint Seiya warrior, a swordsman, and a Saint Mage all in one? This is perhaps the helplessness of someone in a high position.

I gladly accept my father-in-law's kind offer. After all, sharing a bed with a group of beauties has always been an unattainable dream of mine. The beauty of the women on my new bed today was a feast for the eyes, making me feel incredibly good. My lustful desires began to stir again, and my hands unconsciously climbed up and down their breasts and intimate areas, making them gasp and moan, their hearts fluttering with desire. Just as I was about to lose my patience, an uninvited guest interrupted my good time.

"Boss, boss, congratulations! Congratulations! His Majesty and the Queen invite you to the main hall for a meeting!" That perpetually impulsive guy, Hoss, kicked open the door and congratulated me with a grin.

"What's there to congratulate?" My face darkened, inwardly cursing this ungrateful wretch for interrupting my beautiful time with my wives.

While in a state of excitement, Hoss didn't see my gloomy face and continued to say to me, "Boss, good news, great news! His Majesty and the Queen have invited you to the main hall for a meeting, they must be discussing the abdication!"

"You—have you said enough?!" I drew out my words, my face clouding over even more.

"Uh..." At this moment, Hoss finally saw an embarrassing scene: I was shirtless, and the other four beauties were wrapped in a corner of a sheet, shyly hiding behind me, their fair necks flushed. After all, who wouldn't be embarrassed to be seen in such a shameful scene?

Even the most obtuse person would know they had done something wrong. Hoss could only laugh awkwardly twice and lower his head, saying, "Boss, I have to go first, you guys continue." After saying that, he turned to walk towards the door.

"Wait, hehe!" A wicked smile appeared on my lips as I called out to Hoss, who was about to leave. Meanwhile, Rein and Yad, who were hiding outside the door, knew something was wrong. The moment their boss let out that terrifying laugh, nothing good was coming; Hoss was in deep trouble! Sure enough, before they could react, Hoss's massive body shot out like a giant, curled-up shrimp, the thud of him crashing to the ground shaking. At

that moment, my voice came from inside the room: "Remember to announce your arrival next time you come in, otherwise, hmph, don't blame me for being impolite!" The intense anger pounded in the hearts of the three, and they couldn't help but gasp. Rein and Yad, hearing no more sounds from inside, finally felt relieved and went to Hoss, helping his enormous body up. But when Hoss lifted his head...hahahaha!, the two couldn't help but burst into laughter.

Hoss, who had just been dazed, was completely bewildered when he saw the two of them bursting into laughter for no apparent reason. He asked, "What are you two doing? What's so funny?"

"Hehehe, third brother, I've finally discovered something about you that's more endearing than mine!" Rhine said haltingly, pointing at Hoss as he suppressed his laughter.

"What do you mean? I don't understand!" Hoss couldn't see what he was more endearing than Rhine, or what made him so funny.

But when he finally understood the situation, he was furious: "Fine, you two brothers are so unfair! You knew there were tigers in the mountains, yet you insisted I walk into the tiger's den while you watched the show from the sidelines. Just wait and see how I deal with you!" It turned out that early that morning, the three of them had heard from the palace that His Majesty and the Queen were preparing to abdicate in favor of Princess Doris, with the Holy King of the Nation acting as regent. They rushed over to share the good news, and in his excitement, Hoss barged into the bridal chamber without a second thought, leading to the series of events that followed. The wise Rhine, knowing this was a bad move, watched from the sidelines. As a result, I, in a fit of rage, threw Hoss out of the room, leaving a large footprint on his face. Rhine and his companion laughed at the consequences of his recklessness. Rushing in without a care in the world easily offends people, and luckily he offended his boss, otherwise the consequences would have been unimaginable.

Hearing Hoss's complaints, the two, still laughing, replied, "Third brother, it's not that we didn't tell you, it's just that we were about to, but you were so impatient, like an arrow released from a bow, and now... well, that's how it is!"

"What? Didn't you two know to stop me? Otherwise, I wouldn't be in this situation!" Hoss complained.

"Heh, we did think of that method, but you were too impulsive. Before we could even act, you rushed in. What were we supposed to do?" Rhine said helplessly.

"You...you..." Hoss finally had nothing to say, standing there sulking.

"Third brother, we deeply sympathize with your situation. The eldest brother's actions were just a light punishment; there's no need to get so angry. Calm down, after all, we're brothers!"

"Hmph, brother, hehe, you still remember we're brothers? The eldest brother kicked me out, I have nothing to say, I only blame myself for acting rashly, holding you two traitors hostage. My anger is only burning brighter!" Hoss rubbed his fists, gritting his teeth as he spoke.

"Hehe, third brother, don't be like that, don't be like that, let's talk it out, let's talk it out!" Rein stretched his neck, forcing a smile.

"We have nothing to say, let's settle this with our fists!" At this point, there was no time for Rein and Yad to argue; Hoss's massive fist swung towards Rein, the whistling wind making Yad's face sting.

"Third brother, you...you're serious?!" Rein, having taken a hard punch to the chest, exhaled a breath of stale air and said angrily.

"Didn't you hear me say 'let's settle this with our fists'?" Hoss swung his massive fist at Rein again.

"Pah, third brother, since you say that, don't blame me for being impolite!" Rein also swung his fist to meet Hoss's attack. The two fists collided with a loud "pop," forcing both men to retreat several steps, their strength now evenly matched.

Seeing the opportunity, Yad, his fighting spirit ignited by the two, shouted, "Alright, third brother, take my punch too!" His fist, brimming with wind, hurtled towards Hoss.

"Well done!" Hoss roared, gathering his strength, taking a stance, and thrusting forward with both hands to meet the whistling fist.

While the three were sparring outside, inside the room, I couldn't suppress my lustful desires and reached for the exposed white thighs of the women. The women, who had just been embarrassed, cried out and pushed me away, running to the other side of the bed. But I had no intention of letting them go. I grabbed one of their feet and pounced on its owner without warning. Unfortunately, the owner was too clever. Before I could even get close, a jade-like foot kicked me, sending me sprawling off the bed. The other women, seeing me kicked off the bed in such a disheveled state, couldn't help but laugh.

Having been kicked off the bed, I rubbed my bruised chest and scrambled to my feet. I reached for the headboard, ready to "commit my crime" again, but the four women glared at me angrily, refusing to let me near. Frustrated, I had to soften my stance and whisper, "My dear wives, look at this beautiful day, it's a joyous occasion for us. How about we play a little game?"

"Hmph, we knew you were up to no good. The game is just a pretext!" Doris retorted coquettishly.

"Hehe, Doris, you're mine now. Games are the best way to strengthen our relationship, how can you call it a pretext?" I shook my head and sighed.

"Hmph, everyone knows what you're up to, you're definitely up to no good again!" Vivian said sweetly.

"Hehe, my dear wives, as the saying goes, women love bad boys. If I wasn't a little bit mischievous, would you like me?" I said smugly.

"Hmph, you really have no shame!" Vivian said angrily.

"Sister An, I have a feeling I've entrusted myself to the wrong person. He's definitely unreliable!" Doris chimed in from the side.

"How can you say that? I'm your husband, after all. How can you speak ill of your husband to his face?" I complained softly.

"That's just how you are, hmph!" Doris's leg flashed towards me like lightning, but I was even faster. Before it could touch me, I grabbed it and held it tightly in my arms.

"Sisters, help! Help! This pervert is harassing me!" Doris cried out.

"Hey, wife, watch your mouth! What do you mean by 'molesting you'? You're my wife, I'm just being affectionate. Come on, wife, give me a kiss!" I reached up Doris's thigh, almost getting close to her, but after that shout, the four women seemed to be of one mind, mimicking Doris by poking me with their feet. If it were just one or two feet poking me, I might be overjoyed; that's called "intimate contact." But with eight feet at once, I couldn't handle it. I didn't even have a chance to beg for mercy. I was pinned down on the bed and brutally beaten by my four wives. I'm probably the first husband in the world to be beaten like this by his wives. As for whether there will be any later, I think it's impossible. As the saying goes, there's no one before me, and there will be no one after me. I've set a precedent!

When the wives' legs were aching from poking me, they finally noticed me lying on the bed, barely breathing. My body was covered in bruises, like a tattooed native, even my deep-set eyes now had two panda eyes. The girls, realizing they'd gone a bit too far, rushed over to rub and massage me, almost giving me CPR. Lying in their arms, my feelings were a complex mix, a bittersweet mix churning in my stomach, though more joy than sorrow. Smelling their fragrance, my feigned injury stirred with lust again. My "tattooed" hands unconsciously wandered to Vivian's bare breasts, startling her into pushing me away. When I used the same method on the other three, they realized my injuries were fake, my true intention was to gain their sympathy. Damn you, Xie Yun! They gritted their teeth and gave me another dressing down until I once again succumbed to their lewd power.

After some playful banter, it was time for us to go to the main hall to pay our respects to our father-in-law and mother-in-law. The three men who had been fighting outside seemed to have fallen silent; perhaps they had left. When we were dressed and opened the door, we discovered that the three weren't gone at all; they were clearly curled up on the ground performing some difficult moves. Hoss was holding off two men at once, twisting Rhine's legs with both hands to block his attacks. His legs were even more impressive, managing to block a powerful impact from the sky from Yad. As for Rhine, because Hoss had neutralized the force of his kicks, the attack from his legs had vanished. This wouldn't have been a problem, but the strange thing was that Rhine had concentrated all his weight on his legs. With the attack power gone, he lost his balance and was about to fall to the ground. Fortunately, his hands moved nimbly, managing to support his entire body weight. Our Comrade Yad surprisingly launched a "fierce attack," his entire body pressing down on Hoss like a mountain. This forced Hoss to channel his energy into his feet, bracing against the sparks from Yad's heavy hammer. Ironically, his feet landed precisely on Yad's weak spot, causing Yad to lose his breath and his body to arc into a semi-circle as he braced himself on the ground, maintaining this position to prevent Hoss from taking advantage.

Seeing the three's comical performance, I suppressed my laughter and asked in a low voice, "What are you doing? Putting on a monkey show for people?"

Hearing my voice, the three immediately abandoned their entanglement, limping to their feet, sporting pairs of black eyes, and replied in unison, "We're exchanging ideas, yes, exchanging ideas!"

"Exchanging what?" I asked, following their voices.

"Uh, well, hehe, we're exchanging ideas on who has the best pose!" Rein continued smoothly. Meanwhile, the four women standing to the side, unable to contain their laughter, covered their mouths and chuckled.

"Huh, exchanging poses? Seriously? I've never seen you guys pose like this before!" I sighed.

"Uh, well..." the three stammered awkwardly.

"Anyway, we're all brothers, so don't keep things from your boss!" I said earnestly.

"Boss!" The three looked at me with tears of gratitude, their overwhelming excitement indescribable.

"Hey, stop being so mushy, hurry up and go to the main hall to report to your parents-in-law!" I shuddered and quickly changed the subject.

"You say others are mushy, but yours is even more so!" Doris gently pinched my lower back and whispered.

Holding Doris's mischievous hand, I smiled wryly, "What did I do to deserve this?"

"Serves you right!" the three women watching from the side muttered under their breath.

Chapter 53: Abdication

Inside the palace hall, the morning court session had ended, and the hall seemed deserted. King Arthur and Queen Faith, sitting alone in their high positions, felt a pang of loneliness. Perhaps our arrival offered some solace to their hearts, for even the usually dignified King Arthur dropped his mask of pretense and received us with kindness. Queen Faith sized up her spirited son-in-law, looking him over from all angles. She felt he was a perfect match for her daughter. And the three women surrounding him, each no less beautiful than her daughter, yet they lived together harmoniously. She could only say she had found a precious son-in-law. A flower suddenly bloomed on the Queen's wrinkled face, smoothing out the wrinkles and making her look decades younger; even her eyes seemed to radiate a divine light.

When my mother-in-law gave me that strange look, my heart skipped a beat and I felt incredibly uneasy. There's a saying that a mother-in-law likes her son-in-law more and more the more she looks at him, and it's really true. Even I, a god, was startled.

"Good, good, good!" Queen Faith suddenly clapped her hands and laughed.

Seeing the Queen clapping and laughing inexplicably, Emperor Arthur pulled her aside with a strange look and whispered a complaint, "What's wrong with you? You're so old, yet you're still acting so dramatic in front of the children. What kind of behavior is that?"

"You don't understand," Queen Faith whispered happily, "it's just that I'm a mother-in-law who likes my son-in-law more and more. Let me tell you, our prince has such discerning eyes; he's chosen such an outstanding talent. Look at our son-in-law—not only is he handsome and dashing, but he's also a man of both literary and martial talents! It's as if Heaven is taking care of our children who don't inherit the throne, sending him to help us." "

I thought so too," Emperor Arthur said with a hearty laugh, "just look at his performance in this Magic and Martial Arts Tournament. I think he's an exceptionally capable ruler. Now that he's our son-in-law, it's hard for our Fire Lion Empire not to prosper!" His old eyes crinkled with laughter.

"Yes, yes, I feel the same way." Queen Faith glanced at her son-in-law and covered her mouth with a laugh.

But I, being stared at by my two in-laws, felt quite different. I felt their gazes were strange, making me uneasy. Perhaps unable to bear their stares any longer, I quickly pulled aside Doris, who was standing nearby, and whispered, "Doris, don't you think my parents are acting a little strange lately?"

"Strange? I think they're wonderful. They care about me a lot, and now they've found me a husband like you. I feel so happy," Doris replied shyly.

"What? That's not what I asked you. I meant, don't you think their behavior is unusual? And those eyes are strange too!" I whispered.

"It's normal. What's strange about it? Don't mothers-in-law look at their sons-in-law like that?" Doris continued, seemingly oblivious.

"I mean, well, never mind, I can't really explain it to Nian anyway." I shuddered and said helplessly.

"Fine, don't talk about it then!" Doris huffed and turned away, ignoring me.

"Sigh, what's gotten into you this time, my dear wife!" Seeing Doris's sullen face, I had to swallow my pride and coax her again.

"Nothing, it's none of your business!" Doris replied coquettishly.

"You..." I was speechless at her behavior.

"Son-in-law, son-in-law!" My two in-laws seemed to have finished their discussion and were calling us urgently.

"Oh, I wonder what Father and Mother have to tell us? I'm here to greet you." I returned the greeting calmly.

"Son-in-law, it's like this, after the morning court I discussed with the ministers and decided that in two days we will formally abdicate in favor of Doris, and you will assist her in managing the entire empire. What do you think?" Emperor Arthur looked at me in a consultative tone.

Knowing this would happen, I had already made up my mind. I deflected, saying, "This... this, Your Majesty, it's not that I intend to shirk responsibility, but I am still a student. I am willing but unable to handle such matters. I hope Your Majesty will forgive me!"

"Well, I have considered this for you, but how can a mere student of an academy compare to such supreme wealth and glory? Aren't you just picking up a sesame seed and losing a watermelon?" Emperor Arthur earnestly advised.

"Father, Mother, I hope you won't be angry after I say this. How can fame and fortune compare to the ease of being a student? The opportunism, deceit, and treachery of officialdom are beyond the capacity of a student like me. It's much more carefree to be a student!" I said eloquently.

"Well said, brilliantly said!" Emperor Arthur clapped his hands in approval. "The officialdom is indeed as you say, full of deceit and treachery. It's like a battlefield without bloodshed, but even worse. A slight misstep can lead to execution. Cold-bloodedness, numbness, and ruthlessness—each is a bottomless abyss, swallowing countless innocent lives. But it also has its advantages. If you show mercy and leniency everywhere, ask yourself, as a commander, if your old subordinate commits a heinous crime, would you spare him out of compassion? But have you ever considered that doing so would only lead to your army being utterly undisciplined? In the event of war, how could you possibly win? But ruthlessness is no substitute for compassion. The ruling class of this empire is similar in this way. If there is no class distinction, how can it be called a ruling class, or a nation?"

I deeply resonated with my father-in-law's profound words, but that didn't mean I agreed with his viewpoint. If I agree, it means I accept his intentions. If I were to accept such a thing, how could I speak of freedom, or enjoy the unparalleled beauty of this world? So it's not that I don't want to agree, but that

I dare not. "Father, Mother, some things cannot be forced, as the old saying goes: 'A forced melon is not sweet.' Why force me onto the path of officialdom? I have a multitude of matters to resolve there. Though I am willing, I cannot be in two places at once. I promise you, within a year, I will willingly return here to help you rule this country and make it even more prosperous. What do you think?" I pleaded.

"But...you don't want to stay in this palace at all!" King Arthur said dejectedly.

"The mountains and rivers remain unchanged, Father, some things are beyond our understanding!" I said calmly.

"Enough, enough, my dear son-in-law, since you insist, I have nothing more to say." Emperor Arthur seemed to have aged decades in an instant, his white hair increasing even more.

"Father, Xie Yun didn't say he wouldn't come back, don't make it seem like a life-or-death separation, it'll make us a laughingstock!" Doris advised from the side.

"Hehe, my son is right, look at me, I'm so old, some things I can forget just like that." Emperor Arthur forced a composure, secretly wiping away a few tears that slid down his cheeks.

"Father, don't worry, Xie Yun will definitely return with a full load." Doris looked at me affectionately and said.

"Father, believe me!" I said sincerely. Seeing my sincere face, Emperor Arthur knew that no matter what he said, he couldn't win back my heart, and could only sigh in agreement.

Seeing the silence on everyone's faces, Doris suddenly spoke up, "If Father has nothing else, we will take our leave."

"Go ahead," Emperor Arthur waved his sleeve, indicating that we could leave.

Since our father-in-law had made such a gesture, we graciously left the main hall, leaving Emperor Arthur and Queen Faith deep in thought.

On the way back to the palace,

"Xieyun, why are you so disrespectful? Father insisted you stay, why did you refuse him?" Doris pouted, asking with a puzzled look.

"Wife, there are some things you don't understand, don't make assumptions!" I said, a little annoyed.

"What else could it be? Everyone knows you're a playboy at the academy, what could it be? It's all about women!" Doris said jealously.

"Yes, yes, yes, it's about these women, are you satisfied with that answer now!" I said angrily. I was already seething with anger inside the main hall, and now this has only added fuel to the fire. How could I not explode?

"You...you..." Doris covered her face and ran home.

"Doris, Doris!" I called out urgently, grabbing at the air in frustration.

"Xieyun, what's wrong with you? Doris didn't even say hello to us before running back to her room crying with her face covered!" Vivian bombarded me with questions as soon as I stepped inside.

"You do your thing, don't worry about her!" I said angrily.

"Oh, what do you mean? Take your anger out on someone else, don't take it out on me!" Vivian pointed at my nose and yelled, hands on her hips.

"Go away, go away, I'm angry right now, I don't have time to argue with you!" I shook off Vivian's hand and shouted impatiently.

"You—"

"Xieyun, what happened that's making you so angry? Don't be so upset, we're husband and wife, don't hide anything from us!" Liya, the eldest sister, finally stepped forward and asked with concern.

"Yeah, yeah, boss, we're all brothers. We agreed to share the good times and the bad, so don't keep it all bottled up inside. Why don't you say it out loud? Maybe we can do something to help!" Hoss, standing to the side, also chimed in with concern.

"Thank you all for your concern, but it's really nothing. It's just that I insisted on going back to the academy, and Doris complained that I was too blunt. We disagreed for a moment, and that's how it ended up like this!" I replied helplessly.

"Honey, that's not right of you. A wife is meant to be cherished, not scolded!" Vivian emphasized the word "scolded," gently moving behind me, her left hand gripping my lower back, her red lips close to my ear as she spoke.

"Ouch, let go! Let go! Please don't do this in public!" I cried out in pain.

"Public? Hehe, to paraphrase your words, 'We're all family here,' so how can it be public?" Vivian said coquettishly. The women standing nearby, their faces flushed, covered their mouths and chuckled softly, while the three men also tried their best to suppress their laughter.

"This can be discussed, can it be discussed? Everything is a different story!" I said with a wry smile.

"I won't let you go, unless..." Vivian gently twisted her left hand, deliberately drawing out her voice as she looked at my contorted handsome face.

"Unless what? I'll agree to anything!" To avoid excruciating pain, I gritted my teeth and agreed to this "shameful" pact.

"You said it yourself, but," Vivian gently twisted her left hand, whispering in my earlobe, "you have to swear an oath!"

"Swear it!" I raised my left hand and swore to the heavens, "Great Creator God above, I, Xie Yun, swear to the heavens that if I dare disobey my wife's demands, may I be struck by lightning, die a horrible death, and be cursed to have sons without an anus and daughters who are incredibly ugly and unable to marry! Is that alright?" "

Wow, that's a really vicious oath!" The crowd gasped and murmured.

"Good job, keep it up!" Vivian released her teasing hand, smoothed out the wrinkles on my body, and said happily.

"Now you should tell me what to do!" I asked hastily, eager to escape the witch's clutches.

"It's simple, you have to apologize to Doris!" Vivian clapped her hands and said naturally.

"No way." For such a simple reason, she made me make such a vicious oath. The witch is indeed a witch. My head tilted, my legs went weak, and I was about to fall to the ground. Luckily, Rhine noticed in time and caught me. He said with pity, "Boss, I really admire you. You've married such a 'virtuous wife and loving mother' at home. You're truly blessed." "If the boss ever wants me to lay a wreath at your grave again, say so sooner rather than later, so you can escape this misery sooner, Namo Amitabha!"

"Hmm, what did you say!" Vivian shouted aggressively at Rhine.

"Nothing, nothing!" Rhine trembled with fear, quickly straightened me, and whispered to me, "Boss, good luck to you." Then he clasped his hands in a fist salute to the women and ran off with a "whoosh." Seeing that things were not going well, Hoss and Yad didn't even bother with the salute and overtook Rhine at a speed exceeding 100 meters.

"Hey, you guys..." I knew that if I continued to pretend, I would only suffer, so I pretended to be reluctant to see them leave. Looking at the women who were eyeing me menacingly, I shrank my neck and muttered, "I...I saw they left something behind, I...I'll go return it to them right away!" I lifted my foot to step out the door.

"Evil—Cloud—!" Vivian's thunderous roar made me pause.

"I know, I know, I'll go apologize right away!" I waved sheepishly at the women and ran towards Doris's room.

"Ouch—oh my god—help! Ah—uh—oh, waah!" A moment later, a series of clattering noises echoed from Doris's room, interspersed with my screams.

"Big sister, do you think my husband might have been seriously injured by Doris?" Lilia asked worriedly.

"Well, my husband's other nickname is 'the unkillable cockroach,' do you think he could possibly be seriously injured?" "Lia smiled mischievously and said slyly.

That night, I used my 'gentleness' to win over the angry princess. The 'cute' princess rewarded me with a pair of panda eyes and claw marks all over my body. Waaah!

Two days later, the abdication ceremony of the Fire Lion Empire was held as scheduled. With the support of the people, Doris became the first queen of the Fire Lion Empire. Emperor Arthur and Queen Fisse stepped down to the second line, and I, having repeatedly declined, finally had to leave her. Before leaving, the new Queen Doris, along with her courtiers, watched our departing figures with reluctance, tears soaking her clothes. Husband and wife are like birds in the same forest, but unfortunately, not long after the wedding, the husband embarked on a journey to another country. Who asks where the fickle heart has gone, the fallen swallow returns with affection?

Chapter 54: The Return

Journey, Farewell to Doris. Our emotions were initially in a low mood until we crossed into another country, when our spirits slowly rose and our minds broadened considerably.

'Na'er, what's wrong? Are you feeling unwell?'" "Why do you look so gloomy?" I quietly approached Kana and asked with concern. Since the wedding night pranks, I'd suddenly realized that Kana was a girl who appeared outwardly generous but was actually shy inside. Her outward generosity was merely a facade to conceal her inner vulnerability.

"Ah! How did you sneak up on me like that?!" Kana's calm surface rippled as she asked in a flustered manner.

"No way, that's what I should be asking you! What do you mean 'sneak up'? You're feeling down, which lowered your awareness of your surroundings, allowing me to get close to you!" I retorted, startled by Kana's overreaction.

"I...I..." Kana frowned, her sadness evident.

"Kana, just say what's on your mind! We're friends, we should look after each other!" "I said gently.

The words 'friend, friend' pierced her heart like a sharp sword, making her face turn pale, her teeth clenched, and a thin trickle of blood seeped from her lips. Friend, are we just friends? Don't you know my heart? Thinking of this, Kana's tears fell in a stream, landing in the river and creating slight ripples.

"What's wrong? We were talking so well, why are you crying?" Seeing her heartbroken, I asked in a panic.

"I...I..." Before Kana could finish speaking, the calls of the other women came from afar, immediately suppressing her thoughts. She forced a smile and said, "I...I'm fine, just a little sad." After saying this, she wiped away her tears, stood up, and walked dejectedly towards the others. I, on the other hand, was puzzled for a moment, sighing that I really couldn't understand the girl's thoughts, and could only follow her.

"Ah, the weather's great today! We don't get this kind of treatment at the academy," Rein exclaimed with delight.

Indeed, the weather was lovely. The sun shone brightly, hot but not glaring, and wisps of clouds drifted across the azure sky, adding touches of white. A few birds flew by, seemingly chirping and twittering as if to say the weather was lovely. A gentle breeze caressed our faces, a few strands of hair playfully tickling us. In the distance, snow-capped mountains stretched as far as the eye could see, painting the barren peaks a blanket of white. The ground we walked on was covered in green grass, which stretched lazily, yawning and basking in the sunlight. Unknown flowers opened their most beautiful faces, stretching their necks to chase the sun, letting it shower upon them and releasing their captivating beauty. Wandering amidst such beauty, everyone greedily breathed in the fresh air, immersed in this natural wonder. But then someone broke the tranquility, spoiling everyone's mood.

"Hey boss," Hoss, the loudmouth, finally couldn't resist speculating, "do you think the academy will line up at the gate to warmly welcome us back after bringing so many honors?"

"Hey third brother," I said calmly, "if you don't speak, no one will think you're mute."

"Oh, boss, it's only natural for me to think this way. What are we working so hard for, all this toil and struggle for? Isn't it all for the academy's recognition! Think back to the beginning, even though we four brothers achieved remarkable success, they all said behind our backs that we were pests in the academy, especially you, boss, you were the ultimate pest. You plucked every flower on campus, making those guys hate you so much they gritted their teeth and cursed the heavens in secret, and even causing many flowers to wither and die!" Hoss said excitedly.

"That's right, back then I, Rhine, was handsome and dashing, attracting many beauties to throw themselves at me, but ever since you came, boss, you've completely overshadowed me. Beauties are flocking to you, while I can only hold onto a brocade pillow to console my lovesickness. That's why I'm still single!" Rhine said helplessly.

"Is it that serious? I thought my sincerity had moved them," I said with a silly grin, touching my nose.

"Some were, some weren't? Especially the big boss's boastful words when he first arrived, they've been widely circulated on campus!" Rhine said, resting his head on his arm and crossing his legs, recalling.

"Oh, my boastful words are still so popular? I didn't know that!" I muttered to myself.

At this moment, Vivian, who was lying next to me, suddenly turned over, snuggled into my arms, and asked curiously, "Honey, what boastful words of yours have been so widely circulated on campus?"

"Uh, it's just a trivial matter, let's not talk about it!" I said awkwardly, touching my nose.

"It's nothing! Didn't you hear them saying it's all over campus? And I heard you muttering to yourself just now!" Vivian suddenly grabbed my arm, smiled mysteriously, and said coquettishly, "Tell me, just tell me, husband—!" Her charming manner made my heart melt, and the way her full breasts rubbed against my shoulder and elbow as she swayed her arm only fueled my emotions. Seduction? That might be the thought that suddenly popped into my head!

They say lust is a double-edged sword, and I've seen it clearly. If I said it out loud, it would not only prove that I couldn't resist temptation, but also leave me with no face! I absolutely won't say it, not even if you kill me. I decisively pulled my arm away from her embrace, sat up straight, and said, "It's nothing, just a small matter. Let's change the subject!"

My silence didn't mean others wouldn't speak. Sure enough, Hoss started gossiping again: "Little sister, since the boss is too shy to speak, let me do it for him! He said this back then..." He struck various poses as he continued, "He said, 'My name is Xie Yun, from the Xuanwu Continent, and I'm 20 years old this year. I consider myself as handsome as Pan An, and also tall and dashing. If you're interested, you can be my friend. If you want to take it a step further, hehe, we'll see. What do you ladies think?' That was the boss's bold statement back then. What do you all think?" Hoss mimicked my movements perfectly, chuckling. "

Hahaha, this isn't a self-introduction, it's practically a walking personal ad! Hahaha!" Yad laughed, clutching his stomach.

"Even now, when I think of our leader's boastful words, I can't help but laugh out loud!" Rhine finally couldn't hold back his laughter any longer, turning over and shaking with mirth.

The women lying beside him, listening intently, also abandoned all pretense of ladylike decorum, clutching their stomachs and laughing heartily. Amidst the laughter, a ridiculous thought suddenly popped into their minds: Who knew their beloved was so adorable back then!

As for their reactions, I thought to myself, "A hero shouldn't dwell on past glories!" Besides, it wasn't a good thing, but an embarrassing incident, which only made my emotions more chaotic. Who told me to be so naive and inexperienced when I first arrived in the human world? I could only wait until they finished laughing before calmly saying, "Have you all had enough laughing? If not, please continue! If you're done, it's time to get going."

Seeing my serious expression, everyone realized they had gone a bit too far, and they all stood up, brushed the dust and grass off themselves, and headed towards the academy.

Soon, we saw the imposing gates of the college in the distance, along with banners. Although we couldn't make out what they said from a distance, the festive atmosphere inside the college made it clear to everyone. Soon, when we arrived at the school gate, the two presidents of Harvard and Harvard University, along with the entire student body, warmly welcomed our victorious return. When I took out the prize-winning artifact—the Tears of Cupid—I was so grateful I almost kowtowed. Of course, this was just a fantasy; it wasn't quite like that, but it wasn't far off.

"You...you've finally lived up to expectations and returned victorious!" Harvard's weathered eyes even slid with tears of excitement.

"It's just a championship, no need to get this excited!" Hoss muttered quietly to himself beside me.

To everyone's surprise, the seemingly elderly Principal Haber had surprisingly sharp ears and exclaimed excitedly, "Championship? You think championships are so easy to come by? We haven't won a championship in four whole years! Four years! Four whole years! How many four-year periods does one have in a lifetime? Especially for us two old folks who are practically on our deathbeds, it's been a long time since we've been this happy!"

"Putting one foot in the coffin, huh? I bet you can live to be a hundred or eighty years old and no one will call you old!" Hoss muttered again. However, this time the two principals seemed too excited to hear clearly. It was Liya, who was standing nearby, who was displeased to hear Hoss cursing her grandfather like that. She raised her eyebrows and said, "Hoss, what are you saying? Don't gossip behind people's backs, or you'll get your comeuppance!"

Hearing Liya's words, Hoss shrank back and replied with a forced smile, "No, no, sister-in-law, I mean, Professor Liya!" Fortunately, he corrected himself in time, otherwise, if the teachers and students heard it, not only would he lose face, but he would also lose his head.

Seeing the excited expressions on the two principals' faces, I wondered if they would have a stroke from excitement after I presented them with the Tears of Cupid. But I'd find out by trying. When I solemnly presented what they called the divine artifact—the Tears of Cupid—just as I expected, the two principals, their hands trembling with excitement, accepted it, their eyes closed as if praying for happiness. The expressions on their old faces were incredibly varied and unimaginable; even I, a god, could not fully comprehend the richness of human emotions.

Just as everyone was filled with excitement, the Tear of Cupid in Harvard's hand suddenly emitted a soft light. This beam shot straight into the sky, dispersing the white clouds, and then gradually grew larger. When the beam was as big as an arm, the teardrop detached from Harvard's palm and rose along the straight beam. When the teardrop reached mid-air, it suddenly stopped, and the entire beam of light began to retract until it completely contracted, leaving only the teardrop eerily suspended in mid-air. In that instant of confusion, the teardrop suddenly emitted a light many times stronger than before, so bright that everyone could not open their eyes. After everyone's eyes adjusted, the Tear of Cupid suddenly vanished without a trace, making everyone think that the divine artifact had been stolen.

Only our Harvard president remained calm, raising his hand to signal everyone to quiet down before smiling and saying, "Teachers and students, the 'Tears of Cupid' haven't disappeared; they're all around us. Calm your minds and feel them carefully!" Hearing the president's words, everyone followed his instructions and focused their attention, indeed discovering something extraordinary. Previously, the water element was indeed abundant, but now it permeated every corner of the academy, every wall, every bouquet of flowers, every blade of grass, every tree—the water element was deeply embedded within them. The gentleness and resilience of water further immersed many teachers and students in the essence of the water element, unconsciously forming small water spheres in their hands—red, yellow, green. Everyone's perception of the water element differed, resulting in uniquely different water spheres. Perhaps this was the blessing bestowed by the "Tears of Cupid."

“Truly extraordinary! Even my water magic, which hasn't improved in years, has taken a giant leap forward. You know, every step is a hurdle!” Harper stroked his goatee and chuckled.

“So that’s what’s so special about a resurrection artifact. Turns out it’s you two old men’s doing!” I didn’t feel deceived at all; on the contrary, I wholeheartedly agreed with their actions.

“If we didn’t do this, how could you, the Holy Archmage, be willing to serve us? My dear grandson-in-law.” Harper gave me a meaningful look and said cheerfully.

“Hehe, worth it, worth it!” I suddenly burst out laughing.

“I thought I was a bit crazier, but I didn’t expect him to be even crazier and more eccentric than me. Sigh, I’m ignoring you, brother. Shouldn’t we celebrate?” Harvard suddenly put his arm around Harper’s shoulder and laughed.

"That makes sense, that makes sense, let's go!" Haber agreed. After the incident

," most teachers and students had accepted us, and the academy had returned to its usual tranquility. However, the learning atmosphere was stronger than before. Perhaps our award put pressure on them, or perhaps the "Tears of Cupid" were spurring them on—we don't know. As for me, the first thing I did upon returning was to properly comfort the girls to ease their lovesickness.

Time returned to normal, and my life began to get back on track. Although Lilia, Vivian, Lia, and Lina were now my wives in name only, the four girls remained wary of my philandering, forbidding me from going here and there every day, which made my initially good mood start to sour again. I had originally planned to vent my depression at Kana's kendo club, but to my surprise, the club members seemed quite hostile towards me. Even some of my usually close friends gave me the cold shoulder, leaving me completely bewildered. They used to be very kind to me, but since my return, their indifference has grown daily. I haven't even seen Kana, the club president, once. When I asked her, everyone gave me a cold shoulder, leaving me feeling utterly humiliated. Feeling awkward and frustrated, I had to find another way to relieve my frustration.

This morning, I unusually got up very early. Arriving at the academy's back garden, the quiet surroundings calmed my restless heart. In the early morning, a few rays of sunlight filtered through the ancient trees in the garden, landing on me. Wisps of clouds drifted across the sky, and occasionally a few birds flew by, their cries echoing. Strolling through this fragrant sea of flowers, inhaling their delicate scents, watching the busy bees and butterflies, and listening to the chirping of insects, my heart was as calm as a still lake. Depression gradually gave way to tranquility, and joy took over, becoming the dominant force.

Suddenly, a sound came from a small pavilion in the corner of the garden—the rustling of pages, interspersed with indistinct murmurs. "Huh," I thought, "I thought I got up early enough, but someone else did. Let me see who it is!" Without further ado, I stopped and strolled towards the pavilion. As I approached, the sound from within grew louder and clearer. Accompanied by a long and complex incantation, a bright figure flashed before my eyes. A beautiful woman! My eyes widened in surprise; a tall, slender figure came into view. With arched crescent-shaped eyebrows, large, dark eyes gleaming with a thirst for knowledge, a delicate, straight nose, and rosy cherry lips, her oval face exuded an air of earnestness. The girl lowered her head, gently turning the pages of a thick magic book resting on her lap, her focused expression unmoved even by a few strands of hair playfully slipping before her eyes. The morning dew slightly dampened her hair and clothes, revealing her exquisite figure: high, full breasts, a flat stomach, and long, slender legs—what a beautiful girl! Occasionally, a difficult incantation would escape from her alluring red lips, followed by a corresponding movement of her hand. A tiny droplet of water would gradually appear in mid-air, spinning and swirling with a faint hissing sound. The girl's murmur grew more urgent, and the droplet in mid-air changed accordingly. As the water droplets increased in speed, their shape changed, gradually flattening the water. Then, a thin, gauze-like curtain of water rose from the girl's feet. As the water swirled, the curtain rose higher and higher, seemingly about to merge with the main body of water. But then, the girl suddenly paused, causing the entire curtain to collapse and splash onto her, making her already soaked body even more drenched. This gave me a feast for the eyes: her high, full breasts, her clothes clinging to her skin, and the faintly visible pearls on her breasts made me swallow hard, my lust surging.

The girl seemed oblivious to being spied on, focused solely on testing her water magic, completely unaware of her exposed body. Fortunately, it was just the two of us in the back garden; perhaps that's why she had been practicing there so early. The girl practiced again and again, but always fell short at the last step, failing at the last hurdle. Undeterred, she persisted. Watching her, I was deeply moved by her spirit. Just as she was about to fail, I secretly tampered with her water screen, and a complete water screen appeared before her. Seeing her masterpiece succeed, she was overjoyed and immediately stopped channeling magic into the water screen. Normally, without the input of magic, the water screen would immediately disappear, but strangely, it remained intact without her support, which puzzled the girl. Unless…

“Who goes there? Get out here!” the girl shouted. Her voice was like a nightingale's song, clear and melodious, pleasing to the ear.

Just then, clapping came from the corner of the pavilion. I walked out from the corner with a smile and exclaimed, "A beauty is indeed a beauty! Even her loud shouts are so beautiful!" I grinned, and the strange smile that crossed my lips made her heart skip a beat. She asked hesitantly, "Who...who are you?" Before she could finish speaking, I noticed her fair neck turn bright red, two rosy clouds rose on her pretty face, and even her ears turned bright red.

Hehe, so this beauty is so shy that she blushes even when she speaks. Hehe, interesting, interesting. I wonder what it would be like to win her over, I thought to myself.

The girl saw me looking at her with a lecherous gaze, and then looked at her soaked clothes and the undisguised glimpse of her private parts. She quickly screamed, crossed her arms over her chest, and hid to the side, saying in a trembling voice, "You...you pervert! What are you doing? Be careful, I'll scream for mercy!"

The girl's words jolted me back to reality. Being misunderstood by her wasn't the worst thing; being misunderstood by everyone would be a disaster! How was I supposed to win the hearts of all those beauties after that? No, I had to talk to her properly. This stalemate wasn't a good solution; it was bad for both of us! I quickly composed myself and said gently, "Miss, don't be afraid. I'm not a pervert! I just saw you were working so hard on your phone and couldn't help but help you. I meant no harm!" How could I let her know my wicked thoughts? I even want you to be my wife!

Seeing my sincere gaze, the girl hesitated for a long time before finally blurting out, "You...you really aren't some kind of pervert?"

To show my sincerity, I looked at her affectionately, used a drying spell to completely dry her soaked clothes, and then smiled faintly, "Do you think a pervert would do this?"

The girl was very happy to see her clothes suddenly dry, but then asked suspiciously, "Since you're not a pervert, then who are you?"

"Since Miss asked so sincerely, how could I not answer! My name is Xie Yun, may I ask your name, Miss?" I bowed slightly to her and said politely.

"So you are...you are..." A scene suddenly flashed through Menis's mind, and she looked at me with great fear, even abandoning the magic book that had fallen to the ground, and hurriedly ran away.

Seeing her terrified expression before leaving, I was immediately confused. I asked myself, this was the first time I'd met this beautiful woman, so why did she run away in fright the moment I said my name, abandoning even her most treasured magic book? I hurriedly picked up the book and called out to her retreating figure, "Hey, hey, beautiful, you left your thing behind!" But upon hearing my voice, she ran even faster, disappearing in an instant.

"Am I really that scary?" I chuckled self-deprecatingly, dusted off the book, and walked away silently.

Menis, upon hearing my name, abandoned her beloved book and fled in a panic. In her eyes, I was a monster, even more terrifying than a monster. Only when she thought I wasn't following her did she calm down, leaning against a corner, panting heavily. Her heaving chest betrayed her fear of me. Indeed, she still remembered that bizarre scene: her most admired Trojan mentor was defeated without even making a move, and lost inexplicably at that. It was as if an invisible giant hand was gripping Troy's mentor, making it hard for him to breathe. Yet, the perpetrator of this whole affair—Xie Yun—had defeated Troy's mentor without lifting a finger. In her eyes, I was a devil, a devil from the depths of hell. She could never forget this nightmare, perhaps never in this lifetime.

Menis carefully recalled everything. In her heart, Troy's mentor was the most perfect person in the academy. He was gentle and refined, knowledgeable and courteous, kind and loyal, meticulous in his work, cautious in everything he did, and strived to do his best in everything. How many such exemplars could be found in the academy? Although the mentor was somewhat arrogant, that didn't matter. No one is perfect, and the mentor's flaws were precisely what enhanced his many virtues. How could Xie Yun steal the woman his mentor loved most? Was it merely because of his overwhelming strength? Although the strong were respected in this world, how could brute force alone achieve anything? Could this really win over Mentor Suya's heart? Menis clasped her hands together, silently wishing that her admired Trojan mentor would find his true love. After praying, Menis calmed herself, leaned against the wall to stand up, and slowly walked towards her dormitory.

Poor soul, soul blinded by reality! Is what you see the true truth? You are deceived by appearances. Perhaps many people are deceived by Troy's outward appearance; how many ignorant souls are lost in confusion! When will he reveal his true lecherous nature?!

Chapter Fifty-Six: The Lecherous Nature of a Novice in the Human Realm.

Dear readers, I hope you won't forget to bookmark this page while you enjoy it! Thank you all!

Since meeting her, I've been asking around and finally got the information I wanted from others: Menis, the sixth of the ten most beautiful girls on campus, is very shy and a very cute girl. She's currently studying in the Magic and Martial Arts Class A. It's said that she's from a commoner family and only managed to get into this top academy on the entire continent thanks to her considerable strength. Not simple at all! A commoner girl getting into this school, I can only say she's extremely remarkable. I can't say anything more! If

I want to know more about her, I'll have to approach someone she knows best. Hmm, I'll ask Rein first!

"Rein, I have something I'd like to ask you!" I grabbed Rein and said.

"Boss, just tell me what you need, I'll do it." Rein replied readily.

"Oh, actually, it's very simple. I wanted to ask you, are you familiar with Menis?" I said casually, pretending to be very nonchalant.

"Menis? The sixth most beautiful girl on campus? Boss, you're not thinking of pursuing her, are you?!" Rhine exclaimed in surprise.

"Everyone loves beauty, what's so strange about me pursuing her?" I said calmly.

"No way, boss! You've already taken nine of the ten most beautiful girls on campus, and you're still so greedy? Aren't you afraid Lilia and the others will be jealous? And..." Rhine hesitated for a while.

"And what? Just tell me what you want! I'll grant you any request!" Seeing his hesitation, I thought he wanted a reward again, so I agreed before he finished speaking.

"No, boss! Boss, do you know why she doesn't have a group of bodyguards among the ten most beautiful girls on campus?" Rhine said mysteriously.

"Why?" I asked hurriedly.

"Because she's very averse to the opposite sex. A guy once tried to chat her up, but no matter how hard he tried, he couldn't get her attention, let alone win her heart. And that's not all. Another guy admired her greatly and wanted to date her, but after a few days, he couldn't stand her silence and gave up. Because when he went on dates with her, no matter what he ordered to eat or drink, or where they went, she would always just say 'whatever' to avoid it. Even his sweet words couldn't elicit a smile from her, and in the end, nothing came of it. Since then, no one has dared to be her protector!" Rhine sighed.

"Oh, is that so?! I refuse to believe that with my dashing looks, my genuine sincerity, I can't win her over!" I said confidently.

"Boss, I advise you to give up on this idea. There are plenty of fish in the sea, why hang yourself on one tree? There are so many beautiful girls in the academy waiting for you to discover!" Rhine pleaded.

"Rhine, I'm sure you've heard this proverb, right?"

"What proverb?"

"Where there's a will, there's a way!"

"Oh, boss, I don't care about any of that 'whether it's 'whether it's 'whether it' or not,' just give up on this idea!" Rhine advised again.

"No, there's no road that can't be traveled, and no task that can't be done. As the saying goes, 'Sharpening the axe doesn't delay the work of chopping wood, and even an iron pestle can be ground into a needle.' I believe that with my sincerity and earnestness, I can definitely make her kneel before me!" I said proudly.

"Since you insist, boss, I have nothing more to say. If there's nothing else, I'm leaving now!" Seeing that his persuasion was ineffective, Rhine could only walk away with a gloomy expression.

"Hey, wait, you haven't told me about her yet!" I called after his departing figure.

"I'll tell you after I find out!" His voice came from afar.

Ever since Rhine told me about Menis's preferences, I've abandoned my lazy ways and started arriving early at the academy's back garden to wait for her. But she seemed to have vanished into thin air; I couldn't see her for four or five days. Just when I was about to despair, she finally appeared. I remember that day, she walked gracefully in a white dress, like a celestial maiden descending to earth—pure and beautiful. "Finally, my wait wasn't in vain!" I thought excitedly. Just as I was about to reveal myself, another white figure appeared, causing me to freeze in my tracks. Looking into the distance, I clearly saw that it was actually my colleague—the inhuman, treacherous Trojan instructor. Life is truly unpredictable; Trojan's encounter with me is destined to be a disastrous mistake. Trying to take a woman from me? No way! I'll show her your true colors!

"Menis, what can I do for you?" Trojan was dressed in white today, which accentuated his handsome and refined appearance, making him stand out.

"Uh, Professor Troy, I...I have a few questions about water magic that I'd like to ask you!" Looking at her beloved's handsome appearance, Menis, suppressing her blush and pounding heart, stammered as she asked.

"Oh, Menis, please feel free to ask. As your professor and friend, I'd be happy to answer your questions!" Troy said politely, placing his left hand on his chest and leaning slightly forward.

Seeing her professor's gentle demeanor, Menis finally couldn't contain her joy. She clenched her fists and exclaimed involuntarily, "That's wonderful!"

"What?" Troy asked, somewhat bewildered by Menis's inappropriate behavior.

"Oh, I mean, I mean it's wonderful to be able to ask you questions, Professor!" Menis quickly explained, trying to calm herself.

"Oh, really?" Troy said with a smile.

Watching the two people engrossed in conversation in the distance, I felt a mixture of envy and jealousy. Such a beautiful flower was wasted on such a worthless dung heap!

Watch out, flies will swarm you! Ignoring my own voyeuristic behavior, Troy, after answering Menis's question, politely inquired, "Miss Menis, as your friend, may I invite you to join me for breakfast?"

"Yes, yes!" Menis, suppressing her excitement, quickly replied.

"Then let's go!" Troy said gently.

"Yes, yes!"

Watching their departing figures, I gritted my teeth and cursed, "What a pair of adulterers!" However, a woman who had passed through my hands wouldn't be allowed to be touched by them. Not entirely at ease, I secretly cast a tracking spell on her before watching them disappear into the distance.

Inside the Dream Restaurant.

"Miss Menis, please order whatever you like!" Troy said generously. Even in front of a beautiful woman, Troy still displayed his manly prowess.

“Since Instructor Troy says so, then I won’t stand on ceremony!” Menis didn’t hesitate and picked up the menu to order.

During the meal, Menis elegantly ate her delicious food with her knife and fork, looking completely satisfied.

“Is it good? This is the restaurant’s signature dish, beautiful and inexpensive—it’s the perfect description,” Troy said eloquently.

“Yes, Instructor Troy, thank you so much for your hospitality. I’m so happy today,” Menis said excitedly.

“I’m glad you say that. If you had the time, I would definitely cook for you myself!” Troy said with a smile.

“Oh, Instructor, you can cook?” Menis asked in surprise.

“A little bit,” Troy replied modestly.

“Then may I have the honor of being your customer?” Menis inquired.

“I’d love to,” Troy chuckled.

“When?” Menis asked casually, nibbling on a piece of jerky.

"I eagerly await Miss Menis's arrival tonight."

"Then I'll be honored to accept." Menis replied excitedly.

"No problem." A sinister glint flashed in Troy's eyes, but unfortunately, Menis was eating with her head down. Otherwise, seeing that look, she would have hesitated whether to go or not, because his eyes revealed a dangerous aura.

Evening. A peaceful and serene night. The moonlight gently fell upon the earth, and countless twinkling stars blinked their curious eyes, gazing at this enchanting world.

In Troy's house, two stands filled with candles sat on either side of a long table, the dazzling candlelight illuminating the entire room. In the center of the table were various dishes, their rich aromas enough to whet everyone's appetite. On either side of the table were two tall glasses filled with red wine. A variety of dishes, fragrant red wine, flickering candlelight, and two people gazing at each other—it truly was a candlelight dinner.

"May our Miss Menis grow ever more beautiful! Cheers!" Troy said with a smile, picking up a glass of red wine.

"Cheers!" Menis looked at her most respected and admired mentor and excitedly raised her glass. The two glasses clinked gently in the air, making a crisp sound.

"How about trying my cooking?" Troy pointed to the dishes on the table, hoping for a response.

"Mmm, mmm, Mentor Troy's cooking is really quite delicious." Menis praised, taking a small bite of the delicious food.

"Eat slowly, don't choke. There's plenty more good food, all made for you!" Troy said with concern.

"Mentor Troy's cooking is truly wonderful." Menis couldn't help but give a thumbs-up in praise.

"And wait! I'll open a bottle of red wine with a two-hundred-year history for you!" With that, Troy stood up and walked towards the cupboard. As he took out the two-hundred-year-old bottle of red wine, no one noticed the lewd smile that flashed across his face, and a wisp of white powder fell into the bottle.

"Come, try this two-hundred-year-old red wine. How does it taste?" Troy personally poured the wine for Menis.

"Hmm, fragrant and elegant, refined without being cloying. This wine truly lives up to its reputation!" Menis praised enthusiastically.

"If you like it, drink more. I have a few more bottles here," Troy said, smiling at Menis.

"Thank you, Master!" Menis, engrossed in her meal, was completely oblivious to the wicked smile playing on Troy's lips.

After a while, Troy noticed a slight sheen of sweat on Menis's forehead and chuckled, "Menis, are you feeling a bit hot?"

"Uh, Master, how did you know!" Menis asked, her eyes wide.

"Heh heh, I also know that burning sensation surged from your lower abdomen all the way to your heart, didn't I?" Troy's handsome face suddenly contorted into a ferocious grin as he laughed maniacally.

"You...you..." Menis tried to stand up, but a sudden wave of weakness washed over her, as if she were boneless and about to slide to the ground. Luckily, she managed to grab on in time, preventing herself from collapsing. She was horrified and terrified by Troy's despicable behavior, and cried out in panic, "You...you're so despicable!" She tried to stand up by holding onto the chair, but always fell just short.

"Heh heh, it's no use. I put a little aphrodisiac and muscle relaxant in that red wine. Now, don't you feel weak all over?" Troy chuckled wickedly.

"You're despicable, shameless, and vile. I misjudged you." Menis now realized that Troy was a beast in human form, but it was too late. She was heartbroken and desperate, with no one to turn to for help.

"Did I ever say what kind of person I am? Come on, my love, let's enjoy this beautiful candlelight dinner together!" In the candlelight, Menis realized just how ugly Troy was.

"No, no, come any closer! If you come any closer, I'll bite my tongue and kill myself!" Menis cried out in terror as Troy slowly approached.

"Heh heh, my love, try biting your tongue. I don't even have the strength to do that now," Troy said gently.

Seeing Troy closing in on her, Menis steeled herself, gritted her teeth, and just as he predicted, she didn't even have a chance to bite her tongue and kill herself. She was truly caught between life and death!

"My love, I've already told you everything, and you still don't believe me? Come on, let's enjoy this lovemaking together!" With that, Troy opened his arms and pounced on Menis.

"Don't come any closer! Absolute Barrier!" With Minnie's shout, a droplet of water appeared out of thin air above her, but it vanished almost instantly.

Had this once-famous beauty truly perished? Please read on!
