[Fantasy] Gods and Demons Among Flowers (Complete) - 9

Chapter 45: The Magic and Martial Arts Tournament - Forest Duel (Part 2)

Upon hearing my command, everyone cautiously crept forward, not missing a single sound. Fortunately, the journey was uneventful. Soon, the sound of rushing water came from not far away, and everyone was overjoyed, forgetting all about the danger. No wonder, we had been walking in this ghostly forest for two days, our bodies aching, our boots filthy, and many parts of the soles of our feet were ulcerated from walking in the rotten leaves. We followed the sound of the water step by step, and as the sound grew louder, everyone was exceptionally happy. A flash of light in the distance seemed to tell us that hope was not far away. Suddenly, I heard Ad's scream from behind.

"Boss, I think I can't move!" Ad shouted. Following the light, everyone saw that Yad seemed to be nailed to the spot, his front foot raised in mid-air, his back foot poised to step forward, and the long sword in his hand seemingly clearing away obstacles.

"Huh, there are no marks on your hands or feet from the wooden vines, so how come..." I walked up to Yad, squatted down to examine him closely, and asked suspiciously.

"Boss (husband), watch out!" everyone exclaimed. As I was squatting down, I suddenly felt a gust of wind behind my head and quickly rolled away, dodging this deadly attack. I stood up and saw that it was Yad who had ambushed me.

"Yad, you little bastard, I kindly asked you how you were doing, and you actually... you actually ambushed me!" I pointed at his nose and said through gritted teeth.

"Boss, this... this wasn't my intention. I can't move my whole body right now, I feel like my whole body isn't obeying my commands. That sneak attack wasn't me, it was... it was this hand!" Yad explained innocently.

"Alright, you said you didn't ambush me, but now you say it was your hand? Isn't this hand part of your body?" I pressed.

"Boss, let me explain. Ouch... everyone get out of the way, this hand is about to get serious again!" As soon as he finished speaking, Yad shot towards Hoss beside him, his longsword flashing like lightning, slashing at the unsuspecting Hoss. Rein had noticed this strange phenomenon and timely extended his longsword to block Yad, rescuing Hoss from danger.

"Boss, you see, this wasn't my intention. How could I bear to attack my sworn brother?" Yad explained.

"Boss, I think this really wasn't his intention. He must be controlled by something." Rein also chimed in... The three women beside him also deeply agreed. I myself found it strange. Yad is usually quite honest and never lies. This time, he must have some unspeakable difficulties.

"Yard, I believe you're innocent. Now put down your sword!" I shouted.

"Thank you for your trust, boss, but... but I just can't stop myself from moving!" Yad said, looking distressed.

"Strange, could he really be controlled by something? Everyone, quickly search the surrounding area, maybe we'll find something!" I ordered. Everyone used their swords to search through the bushes and thickets, but judging from their dejected expressions, they didn't seem to find anything. Just as everyone was about to give up, Hoss's cry for help came from not far away.

"Boss, save me! I've been controlled by a monster!"

When we arrived at the scene, a monster was squatting behind Hoss, waiting for our arrival. This monster was the size of a tiger, with two pointed ears on its head, and a huge head that seemed to take up a third of its body. It seemed to have no nose or mouth, but upon closer inspection, you would find a small nose and a small mouth below its six pairs of eyes, making it look extremely ugly. Six pairs of eyes were neatly arranged on its forehead, each staring at us with a different expression—open, closed, angry, or joyful… making us gasp in astonishment. The monster's body was covered in scales, and its back was covered in sharp spikes that gleamed with a dazzling blue light; these spikes clearly indicated they were highly venomous. A tail the size of a dog's tail swayed erratically behind it, and its short limbs seemed to tell us that it was not good at running or jumping.

As I pieced together the monster's parts in my mind, a fleeting image flashed through my mind: this thing was remarkably similar to the enslaved beasts of the demon realm—no, it was completely similar. Thinking of this, and recalling the riot caused by the enslaved beasts, I cried out in alarm, "Everyone, close your eyes! Don't look into that monster's eyes! Be careful not to be controlled by the enslaved beasts!" But it was too late. I heard screams of terror, everyone crying out that they couldn't move. I knew things were bad. The sound of clashing blades filled the air; everyone was involuntarily fighting each other.

"Boss, save us! If this continues, we'll be wiped out before we even finish our mission!" Hoss cried for help.

"Husband, save us! My sister and I are attacking each other involuntarily; we're covered in wounds!" Vivian's cries for help came from nearby.

The cries for help filled me with anxiety. What should I do? Ah, that's it! A brilliant idea flashed into my mind.

"Everyone, listen up! Close your eyes! Don't open them without my order!" I commanded. Hearing my serious expression, everyone quickly closed their eyes.

Just as they did, a blinding light suddenly burst forth from the center of the group, followed by another… then a dozen, so bright that even the enslaved beast couldn't open its eyes. We, however, were prepared and had already closed our eyes. Taking advantage of this opening, I aimed at the enslaved beast's location and threw my longsword. The sword, imbued with sword energy, accurately struck the beast in the forehead. The beast let out a mournful howl, rolled a few times on the ground, and died.

"Alright, everyone can open your eyes now. Try moving your limbs!" I said calmly.

"Yay! My limbs are flexible again! Honey, you're amazing!" Vivian excitedly jumped up and kissed me on the cheek.

"Boss, when I closed my eyes to listen just now, I felt a sharp pain in my eyes, like a dozen or so bright flashes of light, and then I heard the monster let out a miserable howl, and then there was no more sound! What happened? Can you explain it to us?" Rhine asked, seeing the enslaved beast lying in a pool of blood with a longsword stuck in its forehead.

"Well, it's actually quite simple. Didn't you see that the enslaved beast's limbs were short and wiry? It must not be good at jumping or running. Actually, when I told you to close your eyes, I had already aimed at the enslaved beast's location, and then I threw out a dozen or so blasts. While the enslaved beast had its eyes closed, I threw my longsword, which was filled with sword energy, at it. That's how the longsword pierced its head and killed it." I replied with a smile.

"No wonder I felt a sharp pain in my eyes just now, it was the blasts that caused it!" Rhine suddenly realized.

"Hehe, pretty simple, right?" I chuckled as I walked to the enslaved beast's corpse, retrieved my longsword, and then proceeded to skin it.

"Xie Yun, the enslaved beast is already dead. Why are you still skinning it? Do you want to skin it and drink its blood?" Lilia looked at me with astonishment and asked.

"What are you talking about? I just think it's a shame to throw away this skin. Look at these scales; they're impervious to blades and fire, perfect for making armor. It's a waste to throw it away." I explained to them, holding up the hide.

"Huh, why isn't there a magic core in its brain? Is it somewhere else?" I wondered. Hearing this, everyone took out their longswords and started probing various parts of the enslaved beast.

"Huh, there really isn't one!" they all exclaimed.

Looking at the mangled corpse of the enslaved beast, I said with a heavy heart, "Forget it, forget it, don't skin it anymore. We've already ruined the body. Asut, let's leave it with a whole corpse."

"Yes, sir!" Asut flicked his finger, and a ball of hellfire landed on the enslaved beast's corpse. The corpse instantly burst into flames, turning to ashes in a short while, leaving only twelve eyeballs.

Asut picked up the twelve eyeballs from the ground, exclaiming in surprise, "My hellfire can burn everything in the world, yet it couldn't burn these eyeballs! These eyeballs must be extraordinary."

"Here, let me see." I took the eyeballs from Asut's hand and examined them closely. They were round and smooth, occasionally flashing with blue light. Holding them in my hand, they felt cool against my skin—truly a treasure.

"We're so lucky today! We've actually encountered the legendary 'Eyes of Enchantment,' and there are twelve of them!" I said with a smile.

"Eyes of Enchantment?" everyone asked curiously.

"The Eye of Bewitching Charm is the lifeblood of the demonic beasts and enslaved creatures of the Demon Realm. Through the Eye of Bewitching Charm, they can control the bodies and even the souls of others, making them their tools. However, cultivating this 'Eye of Bewitching Charm' is extremely difficult. An ordinary enslaved beast needs at least a thousand years of cultivation to cultivate even one, and there can be no external interference during cultivation, which shows its rarity. The enslaved beast we just killed had a lifespan of at least twelve thousand years, truly remarkable. I never expected it to fall into our hands today," I exclaimed.

"Strange, enslaved beasts shouldn't appear in this Demonic Beast Forest, especially one with such a long cultivation history. Could there be a passage to the Demon Realm here?" Hoss asked疑惑地问道.

"Alright, let's not talk about that anymore. Here, there are twelve beads, give one to each of you!" I said with a smile.

"Boss, what are we going to do with these?" Asut asked, holding the bead in his hand.

"How could it be useless? It's incredibly useful! With this bead, anyone who tries to seduce you will be countered, and might even be seduced instead!" I said with a smile.

"Is it really that magical? Then... how do you use it?" Vivian asked curiously.

"Oh, this. Just take out this bead and wave it in front of someone, and say 'You've been seduced,' and that person will obey your commands. As long as you say 'Seduction lifted,' that person will immediately return to normal. They'll forget everything that happened before. However, it has a drawback: if you try to seduce someone several times stronger than you, you won't be able to seduce them at all, and might even suffer the consequences, you know?" I explained.

"Wow, this thing is so much fun! Little Bone, why don't we try it?" Vivian suddenly ran to Asut and said. "

B-Sister-in-law, this... this is no joke, you... you should find someone else!" Asut's forehead was covered in cold sweat, and he hurriedly waved his hands.

"Ugh, how boring!" Vivian muttered. Upon hearing this, Asut's tense nerves immediately relaxed. However, Vivian used a feigned indifference tactic, first lowering Asut's guard, then, once he was relaxed, she flashed the bead in front of him and immediately shouted, "You've been bewitched!" He fell for it. A

strange thing happened: Asut, after being flashed by the bead, seemed to show no unusual reaction, only uttering a monotonous, "Master, what are your orders?"

Vivian was overjoyed, tilted her head, thought for a moment, and said, "Hmm, you lie down and bark three times like a dog!"

"Yes, Master!" Asut obediently lay down and barked three times, "Woof, woof, woof," causing everyone to burst into laughter.

"Fun, fun, haha, this bead is really fun!" Vivian praised. Then she had Asut perform a series of actions, making everyone laugh uncontrollably. Still using his hands? How could that be fun? But after laughing, I felt that what she did seemed a bit too much. So, I went over and said, "Wife, stop it. He is, after all, the Emperor of Hell. How can he face his subordinates after what you've done?"

"Hmm, no, I finally found someone to play with, I don't want it." Vivian said coquettishly.

"Listen to me, I'll find a few people to play with you in the future, okay?" I coaxed.

"Then it's a deal." Vivian pointed at my nostrils and said.

"I know." I replied with a smile.

"Little bone, you're lucky today, but I won't be so kind in the future." Vivian said to Asut, who was lying on the ground. Then she whispered "Seduction Dispel," and Asut immediately returned to normal.

"Huh, what happened to me? Why am I suddenly lying on the ground!" Asut stood up, dusted himself off, and muttered to himself.

"Boss, can you tell me what happened? Why am I suddenly lying on the ground?" Asut asked me.

"I, well... it's nothing, you'd better not ask." I stammered. The others around us were already covering their mouths and snickering.

"Oh." Asut saw that I was unwilling to answer, so he had no choice but to give up. However, he also noticed something fishy in the eyes of the others, and quickly asked me for a 'Bewitching Eye' just in case.

"Alright, let's not talk about this anymore, let's go to the river ahead and rest." I suggested.

"Okay!" Everyone cheered and walked towards the light ahead.

Chapter 46 of Entering the Human Realm: The Final Battle of the Bright Ant Beast in the Magic and Martial Arts Tournament.

When we reached the light, we were immediately shocked. There was no river at all; it was clearly the sound of a magical beast grinding its teeth, and the light was simply the glow emitted from the fleshy ball on the beast's head.

"Oh no! Everyone, run! This is a level seven magical beast, the Bright Ant Beast! The river sound and the light we just heard were just to lure prey!" I hurriedly said.

"What's there to be afraid of in a level seven magical beast? We even defeated the enslaved beasts; are we afraid of this Bright Ant Beast?" Asut said disdainfully.

“You don’t understand. These Bright Ant Beasts are social magical beasts. No matter the time, they always live in groups, ranging from thousands to millions, even when hunting prey. These Bright Ant Beasts are enormous, about the same size as the enslaved beasts we just killed. They are incredibly fast, with eight long legs, two tentacles on their heads, and a fleshy ball on their foreheads, which they use to lure prey before killing them. Their front jaws have a pair of sharp blades that can crush anything. Also, their entire bodies are as hard as steel; ordinary swords cannot harm them at all. Only divine weapons might be able to hurt them,” I explained.

“Ah, is it that powerful? Isn’t it a level seven magical beast?” Asut exclaimed in surprise.

“You idiot, did you even hear what I said? Although it’s only a level seven magical beast, when it appears, there are often thousands upon thousands of them. Even the most powerful magical beasts couldn’t withstand such an attack, so we had no choice but to run away,” I scolded.

"It's bad, boss! The Bright Ant Beasts are chasing us!" Hoss said breathlessly.

A huge, dark swarm of Bright Ant Beasts was closing in on us. I figured it wouldn't be long before we were surrounded. Our only option now was to fight them head-on.

"Lilia, Vivian, Kana, put on your armor quickly! Asut and I will cover you, Hoss, Rein, and Yad will cover the rear!" I ordered.

"Boss, I don't even have a decent weapon! How am I supposed to fight off this army of Bright Ant Beasts?!" Yad cried out, his face contorted with despair.

"Oh, this... I forgot you're still unarmed. Here, this is for you." I took out a set of War God Armor from my dimensional space and tossed it to Yad. After Yad finished dressing, I turned around and asked, "Is everyone ready?"

"Ready!" everyone shouted with high spirits.

"Rhine, Hoss, how's the preparation?" I asked. The two gave me an OK sign.

"Good, let's go and meet the army of Bright Ant Beasts!" I said with great enthusiasm.

Everyone waited quietly, ready to welcome the arrival of the Bright Ant Beast army. Just as the Bright Ant Beasts were advancing, a thick earthen wall rose up from the ground, blocking their path. Without hesitation, the Bright Ant Beasts opened their huge jaws and bit at the earthen wall. Soon, hundreds and thousands of Bright Ant Beasts dug a deep hole in the earthen wall, biting it one after another.

"Boss, the Earth Shield card can't hold, what do we do?" Hoss said anxiously.

"Don't worry about that. I knew the Earth Shield wouldn't last long anyway. I'm just stalling for time!" I sneered.

Soon, a hole as big as a bucket appeared in the earthen wall, revealing the massive heads of the Bright Ant Beasts. One of the beasts opened its enormous jaws and bit off a half-meter square piece of earth as if it were tofu. Slowly, the hole in the earthen wall widened, and cracks appeared under the relentless impact of the Bright Ant Beasts. Finally, with a crash, the wall collapsed, and the Bright Ant Beasts surged forward. Just when the Bright Ant Beasts thought they had caught us, their prey, an invisible barrier seemed to block their path. They seemed anxious, opening their massive jaws and biting at their surroundings, but it didn't seem to work. It also seemed that a circular barrier enveloped the Bright Ant Beasts, then lifted them into the air. Gradually, bubbles carried the Bright Ant Beasts upwards.

"Boss, what are you doing? This...this bubble can actually surround these Bright Ant Beasts, that's amazing!" Asut exclaimed in admiration.

"You wouldn't believe it, would you? This is something I created myself, based on the barrier. I call it the Annihilation Bubble," I said proudly.

With a snap of my fingers, one of the Annihilation Bubbles shattered, and the Bright Ant Beasts inside vanished into thin air, leaving only a magic core in my hand. Everyone was overjoyed to see the bubbles carrying Bright Ant Beasts into the air and disappearing. However, there seemed to be more and more Bright Ant Beasts, and they were starting to ignore my tricks. They sent some Bright Ant Beasts to lead the charge, taking advantage of the gaps in the bubbles as they were about to form to rush towards us through the barrier. A few Bright Ant Beasts that rushed over were instantly cut down by the group. But more and more Bright Ant Beasts followed the example of their predecessors, and the number of dead and injured Bright Ant Beasts decreased while more and more Bright Ant Beasts broke through the barrier. The group couldn't kill them all in time. The group stood back to back, defending against the attacks of the Bright Ant Beasts. However, if this continued, even if they killed the Bright Ant Beasts, they would all be exhausted and die on the battlefield.

"Boss, look, the number of Bright Ant Beasts is gradually increasing. If this continues, we'll be worked to death!" Yad complained.

"Okay, you guys cover me for a bit, I'll deal with them." The group changed formation, surrounding me in the center to prevent me from being attacked while casting a spell.

"Great Dark God, with your boundless magic, grant your people endless power, let darkness return to the earth, let destruction reappear in the world, Dark Necrosphere!" I chanted loudly. As soon as I finished speaking, a powerful and evil force burst forth from my body, and darkness quickly enveloped the forest invaded by the Bright Ant Beasts, plunging the forest into absolute darkness.

"Uh, boss, why doesn't your move distinguish between friend and foe? Even if we are ambushed by the Bright Ant Beasts, we won't know where they are!" Hoss shouted.

"Shut up! The Bright Ants won't attack you. They're in a panic right now; they don't have the mind to attack us!" I shouted. Sure enough, just as I said, everyone was unharmed. The Bright Ants seemed to have sensed something was wrong; they were all restless, constantly digging at the ground as if trying to dig a hole and sink into it. The evil power seemed to be growing stronger, but at the center of its origin—we—we were completely unharmed. When the earth fell into absolute darkness, the darkness erupted. Black spheres the size of footballs rained down from the sky, landing among the Bright Ants and exploding with a bang. Instantly, the Bright Ants were reduced to ashes, and deep craters were blasted into the earth. Clumps of trees were swallowed by the darkness, becoming a true forest of death.

At this moment, even Emperor Arthur, Queen Fisse, and Doris, who were outside the Monster Forest, felt the earth tremble. Everyone watching was astonished.

"Father, look!" Following the direction Doris pointed, everyone's gaze turned to the distance. The sky in the distance, the central part of the Monster Forest, was shrouded in darkness—absolute darkness. Loud explosions echoed from there, making the ears of those watching go numb.

"Such powerful dark magic!" Doris's teacher, Archmage Sina, exclaimed. "I am utterly inferior!"

"Master, what are you saying? Is this darkness man-made?" Doris asked, puzzled.

"Indeed. I once read about it in an ancient magic book. This is a sign of the ultimate dark magic—the Dark Necrosphere. It's asking who in this Monster Forest can unleash such powerful magic! If this person cannot be used by our country, they will surely become a scourge in the future," Sina said decisively.

"Perhaps our ancestors set everything up here, and then a contestant accidentally stumbled into the formation, triggering this ultimate magic. It's not impossible," Doris speculated.

"Uh... well, that's possible too!" Sheena thought for a moment

and said. Back at the scene, the darkness had completely dissipated. The group at the center of the formation opened their eyes to find the forest completely obliterated, not even a single tree stump remaining. The ground was riddled with deep craters of all sizes, billowing black smoke. It was a scene of utter devastation, nothing like the lush forest of moments before; it was worse than a wasteland. Not even a blade of grass remained, everything had been swept away.

"Uh... boss, this... this seems a bit too much, doesn't it?" Yad stared at the desolate landscape, nudged my arm, and said blankly.

"Yeah, you're right. I also think I went too far. But at that point, I had no other choice but to try it, and the result... well, look, like this!" I said helplessly, scratching the back of my head.

"Alright, alright, let's not talk about it anymore. Talking about it will only hurt everyone's feelings. Anyway, that's the truth, let others say what they want. Let's focus on solving our competition problem first!" Lilia advised.

"Big sister is right! Honey, don't take it to heart, we still need to advance to the next round!" Vivian chimed in, then pulled my arm, picked up a magic core from the ground, and said, "Honey, look how pretty this magic core is! Don't think about those worries, come pick up magic cores with me."

Everyone else also tried to persuade me, using the magic core-picking to distract me. Actually, I didn't care about it at all; I just considered it a mistake I made, and I could make amends later. After explaining things to them, I joined the magic core-picking army. I didn't expect the Dark Necromancer Orb to be so powerful. This was my first time using dark magic, and we already collected over 100,000 magic cores, enough to satisfy our quota. Everyone was overjoyed, celebrating our successful advancement to the second round.

"Oh dear, it's been five days already, why hasn't he come out yet? Has something happened to him?" Doris muttered anxiously to herself.

"My daughter, who are you talking about?" Queen Faith asked, puzzled, after hearing Doris

's mutterings. "Oh, nothing... I didn't say anything, I was just worried about some of my classmates." Doris blushed slightly.

"Ah, my son has grown up, become sensible, and knows how to think of others," Queen Faith said with a loving expression.

"Mother, you're making me feel quite embarrassed," Doris said shyly.

"Oh, you," Queen Faith complained. "Your

Majesty, the five-day period has passed. Please announce the end of the first round of the competition!" the inspector reported.

Seeing the inspector's words, Emperor Arthur stood up and solemnly announced, "I now declare: the first round of the competition is over..."

At the same time, Doris anxiously looked towards the forest exit. So much time had passed; why hadn't they come out yet? Just as Emperor Arthur uttered the word "over," several figures vaguely appeared at the exit. Doris looked closely and recognized us. She quickly stopped him, saying, "Father, wait! The competition isn't over yet! Look!"

Following Doris's pointing finger, Emperor Arthur saw a group of team members approaching. Although their clothes were quite dirty, the team members all looked energetic and spirited. This was us, emerging from the forest. Seeing us, Doris happily rushed to greet us.

"I knew you'd be alright!" Doris said happily.

"Silly girl, I'm still waiting to marry you," I said gently, pressing her forehead.

"My son, it seems you're getting along quite well with your classmates!" Emperor Arthur said cheerfully.

"Your Majesty, we have successfully completed our mission," I said, opening a dimensional portal. Instantly, multicolored magic cores piled up before everyone, towering over a person's height, reflecting various colors onto their faces.

Seeing so many magic cores, Emperor Arthur was visibly excited, exclaiming, "Good, good, good! I've never seen so many magic cores before! This is from a level seven Wood Vine Beast, this is from a level seven Bright Ant Beast, this is from a level eight Flame Beast, this is from a level nine Ice Flame Beast… Wow, there are so many, I can't even count them all! Now I declare the first round of the Magic Martial Arts Tournament over, and Qiwan Magic Martial Arts Academy advances to the second round as the group leader!"

"Oh, oh, oh…" We jumped up excitedly, shouting.

Emperor Arthur quickly regained his composure and said sternly, "Quiet down, everyone!" After the victorious participants quieted down, he continued, "I believe everyone must be exhausted after five days of competition and desperately needs rest. I hereby announce: the second round of the arena competition will be held in the Imperial Capital Training Grounds in two days. During these two days, I hope everyone can eat and sleep well, and greet the arena competition with the utmost enthusiasm!"

"Oh…!" The crowd cheered again.

"Boss, do you think we can win the championship this time?" Yad asked, sitting on a stool with his hands on the table.

"I think winning this time will be difficult. Not to mention anything else, our strongest opponent, Holy Martial Academy, is no less powerful than us!" I said seriously.

"Then what should we do?" Hoss pressed. I made a beheading gesture, and Hoss exclaimed in shock, "No, no, killing someone is punishable by death!"

"Idiot, who said I was going to kill anyone? I meant to take them down one by one, one by one." I flicked Hoss's forehead.

"Boss, you hit my head again." Hoss said with a bitter face.

"Who told you to be so stupid!" I said irritably.

"One day, I'll make you look at me with new eyes." Hoss vowed.

"Then we'll wait and see!" I said.

"Hmph, just you wait!" Hoss said huffily.

Chapter 47 of Entering the Human Realm: The Magic and Martial Arts Tournament - Davids

Two days later, the arena competition was held as scheduled.

The massive tournament consisted of twenty arenas, numbered 1, 2, and 20, with twenty-six participants in each arena. From these twenty-six, one champion was chosen to advance to the finals and become one of the seeded players. The tournament's strictness was well-known; the competition continued until the opponent was completely knocked down and unable to move. The rules involved drawing lots to select arenas, followed by referees assigning opponents. Fortunately, our group was lucky. I was in arena 2, Lilia in 3, Vivian in 8, Hoss in 9, Rhine in 14, and Yad in 15, and our schedules were evenly distributed. Lilia, Rhine, and I competed in the morning, but not on the same day, while Vivian, Hoss, and Yad competed in the afternoon, also on different days. This greatly helped us observe the matches.

"Now, please welcome Xie Yun from Qiwan Magic and Martial Arts Academy and Jones from Holy Light Academy to the stage for their match in arena 2," the announcer's voice came through the magic loudspeaker.

"Boss, it's your turn," Hoss said gloatingly.

"Look at my boss's might!" I strode confidently onto the ring, while a burly man with a thick waist walked up to me. This giant was all muscle, his muscles jiggling with every step he took, his 1.9-meter height towering over me. This tall guy didn't seem to be there to compete; he treated the ring like a bodybuilding arena, constantly flexing his muscles, eliciting screams from the young girls in the audience. I really disliked this kind of person, especially Jones; I wanted nothing more than to kick him off the ring. So, as soon as the gong sounded, without a word, I kicked him hard in the chest, sending him flying off the ring. Then, I dusted myself off and walked off the ring. Amidst the gasps of surprise, the referee announced my victory.

"Boss, you're awesome!" Yad praised.

"Want me to give you a kick like that too?" I raised my left foot as if to kick Yad.

"Boss, stop, stop! I can't take that!" Yad quickly dodged.

"You're smart!" I said with a smile.

The following matches were much easier. If I encountered someone I didn't like, I'd either kick them or punch them, leaving them sprawled on the ground, unable to move. One of the women was quite "cute," and she even tried to flirt with others, making me almost throw up my dinner from the night before. I was even more direct with this one, kicking her on the forehead, leaving a solid shoe print on her face, making her completely disoriented and causing her to fall off the ring. The next dozen or so matches were incredibly tedious. Not only were there many incompetent fighters, but not a single one of them had any real skill. And after the last match, I would be one of the top twenty. The crowd below only saw me kick left and punch right, without a single impressive move. They all said it was boring and dispersed to watch the matches in other rings.

"Now, please welcome the second arena: Qi Wan Magic Martial Arts Academy's Xie Yun versus Li Wu Academy's David."

A woman in white gracefully walked onto the stage, stunningly beautiful. How so? Her face was like a peach blossom glistening with dew, her body like snow, her eyes like autumn waters, her eyebrows delicate and clear, her fingers like slender bamboo shoots. I, standing on the stage, was already mesmerized, let alone the crowd below. Vivian, seeing my lustful gaze, couldn't help but feel jealous, and shouted in my ear, "What are you looking at? This is a competition, not a blind date! If you don't win this match, don't even think about making it into the top twenty, and don't even think about getting close to us again!"

Her words, like a bucket of cold water, instantly sobered me up. I clasped my hands in a fist and said, "My apologies, young lady!"

Davids chuckled softly, her cherry lips parting slightly as she said, "Please, brother, show mercy!" The two immediately faced off, and the atmosphere tensed. Even before the gong sounded, Davids parted her lips and began chanting a spell; judging from the content, it seemed to be wind magic, but that was useless against me, I thought to myself. The gong rang out, and the official match began. A tornado appeared on the platform. The tornado grew larger and larger, quickly forming a powerful storm. Those standing below the platform were fortunate to be protected by the barrier; otherwise, they would have been swept away. Before this storm, Davids and I appeared so small, yet such a slender body unleashed such a powerful tempest. With a soft shout, the tornado rapidly approached me. Oh, so quick to unleash such a grand attack; looks like she wants to kill me. Fine, I'll play along and see just how powerful this beauty is.

"Freezing Shockwave!" A swirling white cloud formed in my hand. Don't underestimate its small size; it contained immense energy. With a shout, the cloud struck the storm. Contrary to expectations, the cloud wasn't swallowed up. Instead, it adhered to the storm, rapidly condensing and expanding, instantly freezing the swirling storm in mid-air. No one could have imagined that wind could be frozen. The invincible storm had encountered an unprecedentedly powerful foe. The towering ice storm vanished with a single breath.

Davis knew this storm wouldn't harm the man opposite her, but she never expected her storm to be frozen by his "Freezing Shockwave." This completely overturned her conventional understanding. Wind could be frozen—this was something she never dared to imagine. How did the man opposite her manage it? The judges in the stands were also dumbfounded, speechless with astonishment.

At this moment, Davis gritted her teeth, and as if making a firm decision, she chanted, "Raging Fire!" Instantly, the entire arena was engulfed in a sea of fire, the raging flames crashing towards me like a wild horse unleashed. A giant dragon flew out of the fire, soaring and circling, its massive claws reaching for me. Looking down, a giant lion emerged from the fire, its roar shaking the entire arena, its gaping maw snapping at me. Yet, amidst this three-pronged attack, I remained calm, casually picking my teeth with a toothpick. Davis felt a surge of confidence. In this situation, even if I didn't die, I'd be badly injured. And then, with this and that, I wouldn't be afraid of losing the arena. A captivating smile appeared on her face, but it quickly froze. Unfazed by the danger, I somehow managed to ride the raging inferno, standing on a water shield and surfing the waves. The oncoming fire became my playground, not to mention the fire dragons and lions. As a fire dragon lunged at me, I leaped onto its head. The dragon, however, refused to be controlled by a mere human, tumbling and roaring, its flames surging, determined to hurl me into the inferno. But I saw through its scheme. I gripped its massive head, enduring the searing flames, and finally, through my tenacious struggle, the dragon yielded, slumping weakly towards the inferno. Unfortunately, I landed right next to a giant lion. The lion, seizing the opportunity, opened its jaws to bite. In my moment of crisis, I hastily dodged. Had the lion bitten me, I would have been badly injured, if not killed. The giant lion seemed to know I was going to dodge, its massive jaws wide open, silently awaiting my fall. Having jumped into the air, I plummeted downwards without any support, its jaws wide open, four sharp teeth gleaming, ready to pounce on its prey. At the critical moment, I touched the lion's teeth with my feet and leaped onto its back. The lion, having missed its bite, was enraged by my leap onto its back and began to run through the sea of fire, leaping and swaying, trying to throw me off. But I clung tightly to its mane, refusing to let go, remaining unmoved by its roars and raging fury. With my persistence, the lion gradually lost its wildness and became docile, obeying my commands. I rode the lion to Davies, dismounted, and said to her with a smile,

"How was it? Not bad, right?"

"Not bad, not bad, Water Condensation Sword!" Davies shouted through gritted teeth. A longsword, about eight inches long, appeared in her hand. Its blade gleamed with a gentle, watery quality, yet also flashed with the killing intent of a weapon.

"A fine sword, a fine sword, a fine Water Condensation Sword!" I exclaimed.

"Indeed a fine sword. To die by this sword is to die in peace!" David said with a cold laugh.

"You—!" A longsword, the Water Condensation Sword, was embedded in my chest. My eyes widened, and even in death, I stared at her in shock.

"I'm sorry, for my ailing father, I had to do this!" David said, tears welling in her eyes, as she gently touched my forehead. My body, sword in hand, fell to the ground. The instant I fell, the sea of fire vanished, revealing David standing before everyone, and me lying on the ground, sword in my chest.

"Referee, you may now announce the result," David said coldly.

The referee sighed in disappointment, stood up, and announced loudly, "I now announce the result of the match: the champion of the second arena is David!"

"Wait, the outcome isn't decided yet, how can you jump to conclusions like this!" A lazy voice came from behind David

. "You...you're not dead!" The referee looked at David's back in horror. David also felt that the voice sounded familiar. Suddenly, she remembered the person who had just died. She turned around in surprise and saw me standing smiling in front of her, with no sword wound on my chest.

"Are you a human or a ghost?" David asked in terror.

"Did I say I was dead?" I countered with a smile.

"But you clearly fell dead after being stabbed!" David said in disbelief.

"Look behind you again!" I said to her with a smile.

Hearing this, she actually looked back, and what she saw shocked her. There was no corpse on the ground; instead, her beloved sword was stuck in a rotten log. She immediately understood everything and exclaimed in surprise, "Puppetry!"

"Beautiful lady, now you should believe I'm not dead," I said with a smile, then my voice turned cold. "I was just playing with you earlier. Now the competition officially begins!"

Davis picked up her beloved sword and faced me. A flash of cold light appeared in my hand, and a long sword appeared, its blade glowing red, like a raging fire. I flicked my finger, and the sword hummed softly, emitting a clanging sound. I chuckled, "This sword is called the Fire Fusion Sword, eight inches long. Please enlighten me!" The atmosphere tensed up again.

"I told you the boss would be alright! Look!" Ade said, pointing at me with a look of delight.

"It's all your fault! You were just shouting that he was dead!" Kana cried with joy.

"Hey, second brother, third brother, why aren't you crying?" Ade asked, puzzled.

"Crazy! The boss isn't dead, why are you crying?" Rein said dismissively.

"The boss is truly brilliant!" Ade praised.

The camera then shifts to Doris watching from the stage. Seeing that I was alive, a tear of joy welled in Doris's eye, and her whole demeanor brightened.

King Arthur, sitting beside her, noticed Doris's change and asked in confusion, "My daughter, what's wrong? Why are you suddenly crying?"

Doris quickly wiped away her tears and lied, "Father, I wasn't crying! A gust of wind just blew some sand into my eyes, and it stung a little!"

"Oh, is that so? Is it serious? Should I summon the imperial physician?" King Arthur asked with concern.

"No, no!" Doris hurriedly waved her hand. "Look, aren't I completely healed?" Doris said, her eyes slightly red after wiping away her tears.

"Oh!" King Arthur, seeing that his daughter was alright, turned back to watching the match, and Doris breathed a sigh of relief.

Now, back to the main topic. On the ring, David and I faced off. I secretly set up a barrier on the ring, making it impossible for anyone outside to see or hear us.

"Hey, why did the person on the ring suddenly disappear?" someone exclaimed from below.

"Hey, I was wondering what was going on. It's a competition, why make it so mysterious?" someone protested, and the crowd below joined in the commotion.

"Second Sister, can you see the person inside the barrier?" Lilia asked.

"No! I don't know what kind of barrier my husband set up. Not only can we not see him, but we can't hear him either," Vivian said angrily.

"I hope he's safe and sound!" Lilia prayed.

"Sister Ya, forget it. He probably saw that pretty woman and didn't want us to disturb his good time, so he deliberately kept it hidden from everyone," Vivian said sarcastically.

Meanwhile, inside the barrier, I said, "Beautiful lady, the people outside can't hear or see us right now, so why don't we sit down and chat? Standing here like this isn't a solution!" I even threw away the Firemelting Sword in my hand to show my sincerity.

"Pah! Who has the time to chat with you? Pick up your sword, I want to duel with you!" Davids said angrily.

"Little beauty, don't get angry and hurt yourself. Let's rest for a while and chat before continuing!" I said shamelessly.

"Disgusting! Take this!" Davids flicked her longsword, creating a flurry of sword flowers as she thrust at me.

"Hey, are you serious?!" I cried out in alarm while dodging the longsword that was constantly thrusting at me.

"Hmph, everyone wants to kill scum like you." Davids continued to wield her longsword, each strike aimed at my vital points.

"Hey, you're too ruthless!" I said in a terrified voice as I dodged Davids's attacks.

"Scumbag, take this!" Davis's swordsmanship changed, turning towards my groin. Apparently, she thought I was lewd and shameless and wanted to castrate me.

"Hey, beautiful, if you keep this up, don't blame me for being impolite!" I threatened. Davis seemed not to hear me, continuing her attack on my lower body.

"Damn it, you really think I can't beat you? You take one of my moves." I seized the opportunity to pick up the Fire Fusion Sword from the ground, twirled it, and met her Water Condensation Sword. Water and fire clashed, producing a "whoosh" sound, and white smoke immediately rose from both swords.

I parried the Water Condensation Sword and said to her with a grin, "Beautiful, you can't beat me. How about we sit down and have a long talk?"

"Shameless!" Davis pulled the Water Condensation Sword from my hand, angrily saying. Now, she was enraged, her aura escalating. A faint, half-inch-long sword aura emanated from her Water Condensation Sword; a gentle sweep seemed to freeze the air. The Water Condensation Sword, radiating a chilling aura, slashed towards my neck, as if to sever my troublesome head.

I thought, "This is terrible! Without a head, I'm no different from a dead person!" I channeled all my energy, and a fiery red sword aura erupted from my Fire Fusion Sword, forcefully blocking her Water Condensation Sword. Ultimately, a woman's strength was insufficient; the Fire Fusion Sword, carrying its aura, pressed down on her, and a row of fine beads of sweat appeared on David's forehead. The two of us pushed and shoved each other, and the sword aura from my longsword sliced open two buttons of her blouse. Standing at over 1.8 meters tall, I pressed down on the petite David, revealing her exposed body. With the two buttons undone, her fair, smooth breasts were encased in a pink bra. Perhaps it was because her breasts were too full, or something like that, but her bra could no longer contain her magnificent bosom, revealing her fair skin and a deep cleavage between her breasts. Looking down, her fair breasts were covered with fine beads of sweat, and I stared wide-eyed at her beautiful breasts.

David, who was thrusting upwards with all her might, noticed that my gaze was not on her and that I was looking down. This glance was significant. Seeing that she was exposed, David, with a sudden burst of strength, pushed my sword away and raised the Water Condensation Sword sharply upwards. Caught off guard, I didn't notice this and lunged at the rising sword, which pressed against my left chest. A sharp pain shot through my body from my left chest. I looked down and saw that her Water Condensation Sword had pierced through my left chest, leaving a gaping hole, with half an inch of the sword tip still protruding from my back. Bright red blood dripped slowly down the blade and onto her fair, smooth breasts.

"You—?" I stared at her in disbelief, then fell backward to the ground.

Seeing me truly lying on the ground, and the hot blood on my chest, David panicked. She quickly cradled my head against her chest, shaking me, "Hey, wake up! I didn't mean to hurt you. Really, I didn't intend to kill you!" She screamed, tears streaming down her face and landing on mine.

The hot tears seemed to rouse me, as if in a final burst of energy before death. Pale-faced, I sighed, "I never imagined that my illustrious reputation as Xie Yun would end like this!" Then I fainted again.

Seeing that I had fainted again, Davis quickly shook my shoulders, saying, "Xie Yun, you can't die, you can't die! I still have something to say!"

I slightly regained consciousness and recited, "Once, a sincere love was placed before me, but I didn't cherish it. Only when I lost it did I realize my regret. If God could give me another chance, I would definitely say to you: 'I love you.' If I had to put a time limit on it, I hope it would be ten thousand years. Davis, will you marry me?"

"This..." Davis was clearly choked by my last sentence. She didn't expect me to bring up such an absurd thing on my deathbed.

Seeing Davis's troubled expression, her face turned even paler, and with a sound in her throat, she suddenly spat out a mouthful of blood. With blood still in my mouth, I said, "Can't you grant me even one small wish before I die?"

Seeing my pale face and blood-stained clothes, Davies felt a surge of girlish compassion and hesitated before finally deciding, "Alright!"

"As my bride, I have nothing to give you, but here's a ring as a token of our love!" I said, panting slightly, as I retrieved a love ring from my dimensional space.

"This isn't necessary!" she said, not wanting to be bound by a ring, especially not by someone on the verge of death.

"Put it on!" I forced the ring onto her middle finger. Davies thought that since no one was watching, she could simply remove it somewhere secluded, and everything would be fine. With that thought, Davies reluctantly put it on.

"Today is truly my lucky day! To have met such a beautiful wife, I can die without regrets!" I cried out, spitting blood, my eyes closed, my head resting on her chest.

Seeing that I was no longer responding, Davis reached out and checked my breath; I was dead. She immediately cried out, "Xieyun, you can't die! You can't die! How can I face everyone if you die?" Seeing my lifeless body, Davis silently lamented her misfortune and drew her sword to commit suicide.

Lying in her arms, still smelling of her milk, I saw her about to kill herself. I didn't even pretend to be dead anymore; I quickly pushed the sword away from her hand and said, "What are you doing?"

"I saw you were dead! How can I face everyone outside, all alone? I have no choice but to atone with my death!" Davis explained, sobbing.

Suddenly, she realized someone was speaking to her. Looking up, she exclaimed in surprise, "Hey, how come you're not dead? I just saw you spitting blood!"

"Wife, that was all an illusion. The blood gushing from your chest was actually you puncturing the blood bag in my chest. As for the sword tip on your back, I just stuck it on with paper. See for yourself!" I said with a lewd grin.

"Then what about the blood you were spitting?" Davis asked again, puzzled.

"Oh, that's even simpler! I put two tomatoes in my mouth beforehand. When you weren't looking, I bit into one of them, and that made it look like I was spitting blood, right? Honey, do you think I acted well?" I boasted to her.

"Shameless, vulgar!" Davis pushed my head away angrily.

"Honey, don't be angry! I did this for you, didn't I?" I comforted her.

"Who's your wife! Here, give this damn ring back!" Davis tried hard to pry the ring off her finger, but it was like it was rooted to the spot, not moving an inch.

"It's no use, honey! This ring is called the Heart-to-Heart Ring. Once someone falls in love with me wears it, they can't take it off no matter what, unless there's a special spell!" I smiled smugly.

"Stop being so smug, tell me the spell!" Davis said urgently.

"I won't tell you!" I tilted my head back and refused to answer.

"You—, hmph!" Seeing that I didn't speak, Davis stormed off the stage.

At this moment, the crowd below the stage finally saw the true face inside. Davids walked off the stage in a flustered and embarrassed manner, while I hurriedly chased after her, leading people to mistakenly believe I was determined to finish her off. Ultimately, after unanimous deliberation, the judges declared me the champion of the second arena, bringing this farce to an end.

Davids, just as she stepped off the stage and was about to push through the crowd, was stopped by me in time.

"Wife, why are you in such a hurry?" I said with a forced smile.

"Hey, you're shameless! Who's your wife?" Davids retorted angrily.

"If I weren't a little shameless, how could I have won over such a beautiful woman like you!" I whispered in her ear, putting my arm around her slender waist.

"You—!" Davids was clearly embarrassed by my intimate gesture; her pretty face flushed red, and her ears turned bright red.

"Xie—Yun—!" came Vivian's voice, filled with gritted teeth, from behind me.

I turned around and saw Vivian staring at me with a livid face and wide, angry eyes. I quickly greeted them with a smile, "Wife Vivian, wife Lilia, wife Lia, wife Kana, hello!"

"Xie Yun, how dare you call us that? We kindly invited you to participate in the competition, and you're busy flirting with girls, even talking about love with a complete stranger, some shady character! Aren't you ashamed?" Vivian ran up to me and pinched my ear. "

Hey, can you at least have some decency when you insult people? Who's talking about love with him? He's the one who shamelessly asked me to be his wife!" Davids retorted.

"What's wrong with you? What's wrong with you? You're not convinced, are you?" Vivian pressed on.

"Outsider? Do you think I have the time to interfere in your lives? It's him, he lied to me saying he was going to die and asked me to marry him. I softened and agreed. Now look what's happened, I've gotten myself into this mess. I'll give this damn ring back to you!" Davids said angrily, pointing at me. She tried to pry the ring off, wanting to give it back to me.

"You two, stop arguing! It's all my fault, okay?" I pleaded in a low voice.

"Shut up!" the two women shouted simultaneously. They looked at each other, then turned away. I, too, was too scared to speak after their outburst. Seeing the

situation escalating and the crowd growing, Liya quickly stepped forward and said, "Second sister, and this sister, let's go back and discuss this. There are too many people here; let's go somewhere else." Liya pulled the two women and led the group back to the camp. Back at the camp, Davids and Vivian ignored each other, sitting sulking in the lobby chairs. I had already sheepishly sat at a distance watching them, and the other women also kept their distance to avoid getting involved.

Just then, Lilia gently nudged me. I lazily asked, "What's wrong?"

Lilia spoke up, saying soothingly, "Xieyun, you orchestrated everything. You should decide how to clean this up!"

"No way, wife, you expect me to clean up this mess?!" I cried out, my face contorted with misery.

"You're the one who caused this mess. If you can't clean it up, are we supposed to?" Lilia said from the side.

"I'm afraid they'll kill me before I even get there!" I made a beheading gesture.

"How will you know if you don't try? Just go!" Lilia pushed me from behind, shoving me forward. I walked nervously to the two women, just about to speak, when suddenly, their eyebrows furrowed, and they shouted in unison, "What are you doing here?"

Their shouts instantly obliterated any thoughts I had prepared in my mind. I could only stammer, "I...I came to apologize to you."

"Apologize? What are you apologizing for!" Vivian asked, puzzled.

"I know it's all my fault, and I hope my two wives can forgive me," I said humbly and sincerely.

"Who's your wife!" Davids glared angrily.

"Heh, the person wearing my ring, won't you admit it?" I asked.

"Who cares about your ring!" Davids scoffed.

"This love ring was custom-made for me! Any woman I bind with this ring will never escape my grasp!" In my smugness, I made an arrogant gesture. This gesture, however, only enraged the women present. All the beauties glared at me, even the eldest, Leah.

Actually, I regretted my words the moment they left my mouth. I knew my mouth was foul, so I quickly corrected myself, "Oh, I, I didn't mean that! I meant that every woman I've bound with this ring is my precious darling!" This immediately eased the atmosphere, and I secretly breathed a sigh of relief. But what happened next left me speechless and with a wry smile.

Hearing my arrogant tone, Vivian suddenly changed her tune, gently saying to Davis, "Sister Davis, you're absolutely right. Who cares about that broken ring? Come on, I'll tell you how to take it off!"

"Really, Sister Vivian!" Davis exclaimed happily. Just a moment ago they were fighting tooth and nail, and now they're calling each other sisters! Women's hearts, oh dear!

The two women then started chattering away in a bunch of incomprehensible words. Seeing my two girlfriends so friendly again, my tense nerves finally relaxed. I returned to my seat, gave Leah a helpless gesture, and could only sit there in a daze. Seeing how well the two women got along, Lia smiled with satisfaction, showing no sign of jealousy whatsoever.
