The Amorous Healer [Complete] - 14

Chapter 169 Supporting Zhou and Destroying Shang (Part 1)

The Kunlun Mountains, just entering early winter, were so cold that even a drop of water would freeze instantly.

Ge Xiaoyao stood atop the Kunlun snow-capped peak, glanced back at the still-solid, ink-black Dragon Immortal Pool, smiled inwardly, and leaped into the air like a large bird, flying straight down the mountain.

Although the wind was biting cold, Ge Xiaoyao possessed tens of thousands of years of Dragon Immortal cultivation, and his protective aura automatically formed. The icy wind, mixed with ice shards, bypassed him at a distance of more than a foot, never striking his face.

Ge Xiaoyao was in an exceptionally good mood, wishing he could immediately fly to the Kunyu Palace to see Duo Mei, Yin San, and that white-headed eagle. Of course, he didn't know that Xiao Yao was also in Kunlun at this moment; otherwise, his mood would be even better.

Ge Xiaoyao spent less than half a month at Dragon Immortal Pool. Thanks to the encounter with Dragon Immortal Long Yingshan, he not only healed his internal injuries but also gained ten times the original power of his immortal strength. He also obtained the supreme magic weapon, the Dragon-Slaying Blade, and the ancient spiritual treasure, the Dragon Immortal Sacrificial Record. Naturally, he was overjoyed.

Although Long Yingshan repeatedly instructed him not to forget to search for the Dragon Immortal Platform, Ge Xiaoyao didn't take it to heart at all. "Damn! Do you think you can find such treasures by searching so hard? It depends on luck. As the saying goes, 'Ten thousand people seek wealth but cannot obtain it, while one person can become richer than a country.' Hehe, but my luck, Ge Xiaoyao's, has always been incredibly good. Even if there is misfortune, it will surely turn into a blessing, and a great one at that!"

However, Ge Xiaoyao really wanted to find the Dragon Immortal Platform to resurrect those ancient dragon immortals, not to revitalize the dragon immortal race, but to see what those ancient dragon immortals were like and just how powerful they were! "Hehe... I'm human now, yet I'm supposed to revitalize the dragon race? What if the dragons actually grow strong and turn around to destroy humanity? Wouldn't I be doomed too? Damn it... I, Ge Xiaoyao, would never do something so despicable! But resurrecting one or two ancient dragon immortals to be my underlings is not bad at all, much better than going to great lengths to acquire a magic weapon!"

Ge Xiaoyao's cultivation had improved, and his flying speed was several times faster than before. With just a few thoughts running through his mind, he could already see the vast and magnificent architectural complex of the Kunlun Immortal Sect.

"Damn! Kunlun is quite well-built, very impressive... much better than the Forbidden City!" Ge Xiaoyao thought to himself, flying straight towards the largest building.

This was Ge Xiaoyao's first time in Kunlun, so he naturally didn't know why Kunlun had so many buildings, but he did know that the tallest and largest palace in it was Kunlun's sacred temple—Kunyu Palace.

This Kunyu Hall was reserved for direct descendants of the Kunlun Sect, fourth-generation disciples, and distinguished guests. No one else was permitted entry. While

this rule seemed unfair to the many Kunlun disciples below the fourth generation and the lay disciples who came to learn, it added to the hall's mystique.

"Clang...clang...clang..." The distant, urgent bell tolled when Ge Xiaoyao was still over a mile from the Kunyu Hall.

"Damn! No way...is this dinner or a welcome for me?" Ge Xiaoyao chuckled to himself.

He was unaware that this was the Kunlun Mountain's alarm bell. When the bell rang, an enemy attack was imminent, and all Kunlun disciples of the fourth generation and above on the mountain had to rush to the Kunyu Hall to defend themselves.

In truth, Kunlun Mountain wasn't always so tense; previously, guests were received first, then enemies were dealt with, and the alarm bell rarely rang. However, since the white eagle's warning and the dragon's shadow appearing in the sky a few days ago, Kunlun's senior disciple Yu Heng ordered Kunlun to upgrade its security. If any unidentified person is found entering Kunlun, they must be alerted and engaged in battle first, then treated as a friend. Therefore, although Ge Xiaoyao meant no harm, his extremely fast rush towards Kunyu Palace attracted the attention of Kunlun's guard disciples, who immediately rang the warning bell.

Duo Mei, who was on duty at Kunyu Palace, was naturally the first to hear the bell. She immediately summoned her magic weapon, the Purple Silk Silk, and ascended into the air with Yin San to meet the enemy.

"Brother Ge..."

"Master..."

When they saw the rapidly approaching figure, they couldn't help but shout with joy.

Ge Xiaoyao also recognized Duo Mei, whom he had been dreaming of, and was overjoyed.

As the saying goes, absence makes the heart grow fonder. Seeing her dream lover, Duo Mei abandoned her girlish shyness, forgetting the huge "light bulb" "Yin San" beside her, and immediately threw herself into Ge Xiaoyao's arms, weeping with joy.

Ge Xiaoyao held Duo Mei's beautiful body tightly, wanting nothing more than to crush and tear her apart, but he suppressed his emotions because he saw a handsome young man standing beside her.

"Damn! Who is this? Could he be my rival in love?" For two men to meet in this situation, it was already quite remarkable that Ge Xiaoyao could think this way.

Only when Yin San saw that Duo Mei's emotions had calmed down did he excitedly call out, "Master, Big Brother!"

Ge Xiaoyao was both surprised and delighted, almost jumping up. "Damn! It's Yin San, you brat! When did you get a physical body? You're quite good-looking!"

...

Duo Mei was now the closed-door disciple of Yuanshi Tianzun, the leader of Kunlun, and also his most favored person. Ge Xiaoyao was Duo Mei's lover, so he naturally received the treatment he deserved. In addition, putting aside nepotism, Ge Xiaoyao was Jiang Ziya's sworn brother, making him a senior disciple on Kunlun Mountain. As a distinguished guest, Ge Xiaoyao was naturally invited into the Kunyu Palace and entertained with a celestial feast.

The golden bell warning from Kunlun Mountain was inexplicably lifted for the second time, another false alarm. The happiest were, of course, Duo Mei, Yin San, and the white-headed eagle.

"Brother Ge, drink this cup, and I'll introduce you to an extremely important person!" Duo Mei, making an exception this time, also drank a few cups of immortal wine, her face flushed with a captivating spring-like blush.

Ge Xiaoyao chuckled. In his eyes, Duo Mei was the most beautiful person, less shy than before, more mature, her beauty and heroic spirit breathtaking. "Who is it? It wouldn't be the Primordial Celestial Venerable, would it?" he whispered.

Duo Mei smiled gently, shaking her head noncommittally, "Drink this cup first, and I'll tell you!"

Ge Xiaoyao laughed heartily, "Alright!" He tilted his head back and downed the wine in one gulp.

He was a little drunk; he had already drunk a lot today. Without using his immortal power to expel the alcohol, the long-lost feeling of slight intoxication was quite pleasant. Yin San, Duo Mei, and the White-headed Eagle were all at the table, along with Kunlun's eldest disciple, Yu Heng. All were men of strong character, and they hit it off immediately, their true feelings revealed over the wine.

"Who could it be? Yuanshi Tianzun, Jiang Ziya, Taiyi Zhenren, Shen Gongbao, Zi Lingyan, Nezha…" Ge Xiaoyao considered everyone he knew from Kunlun Mountain, feeling there was no need for Duo Mei to make such an introduction.

Duo Mei, however, seemed to be deliberately teasing Ge Xiaoyao, her charming face gazing at him with a captivating allure. Suddenly, she changed her mind, making him drink a second cup before introducing him, this time adding, "Someone very important to you!"

"Fine, I'll drink! Today I'll see who this person is!" Ge Xiaoyao heartily downed his drink, then put down his cup, saying in a drunken haze, "Now can he come in?"

Duo Mei nodded triumphantly and clapped her hands three times behind her.

Everyone's gaze followed Ge Xiaoyao's, but disappointingly, no one appeared for a long time.

Ge Xiaoyao laughed heartily, picked up a wine jug, placed it in front of Duomei, and shouted, "Falsely reporting military intelligence deserves punishment... a jug of wine!"

The Kunlun disciples accompanying him immediately echoed, even the giant eagle, bewildered, let out a few hoarse cries.

Duomei's expression changed drastically, first with embarrassment, then with worry, seemingly oblivious to Ge Xiaoyao's clamor.

Yin San remained silent.

Unbeknownst to Ge Xiaoyao, while they were enjoying their drink, a stunningly beautiful woman was secretly watching him from outside the door.

Watching Ge Xiaoyao drink cup after cup of wine, and seeing Duo Mei clinging to him like a little bird, gazing at him with a distant, affectionate look, a few crystal tears suddenly welled up in her eyes. Finally, unable to bear it any longer, she covered her face and ran away.

Actually, she had known the news when Ge Xiaoyao arrived at Kunyu Palace. But Duo Mei had found her and asked her not to meet Ge Xiaoyao yet, but to give him a surprise at the banquet.

She agreed, knowing Duo Mei meant well.

However, she hadn't expected to be unable to bear seeing Ge Xiaoyao and Duo Mei together.

She knew in her heart that it wasn't jealousy, but rather inferiority.

In fact, this feeling had already begun to surface when she first arrived at Kunlun Mountain, met Duo Mei, and learned of Duo Mei and Ge Xiaoyao's story; it only suddenly erupted when she saw Ge Xiaoyao truly with Duo Mei.

They were so well-matched; only a woman like Duo Mei, with her high cultivation, beautiful appearance, and good background, was worthy of Ge Xiaoyao. She herself was just a village girl from a poor, remote village, a woman who had once entered the palace to select beauties for King Zhou. She couldn't compare to Duo Mei in looks, nor in ability. What right did she have to be with Ge Xiaoyao?

"Brother Ge, I know Xiao Yao isn't good enough for you..."

"Sister Duo Mei, I wish you happiness..."

The cold wind howled, and a sheer cliff lay ahead. She cried out passionately.

"Xiao Yao..."

A slightly hoarse voice gently sounded in her ear. Hearing this voice, her heart trembled violently, and tears streamed down her face uncontrollably. "Brother Ge..."

Ge Xiaoyao gently embraced Xiao Yao's delicate shoulders, softly comforting her, "Xiao Yao... Brother Ge will always be your Brother Ge."

Xiao Yao finally couldn't hold back anymore, burying her face in Ge Xiaoyao's shoulder and weeping bitterly.

Not far away, Duo Mei, Yin San, and the White-headed Eagle stood silently in the cold wind...

In Kunyu Palace, the night-shining crystal emitted a soft white light, illuminating the interior.

Yin San, Duo Mei, the White-headed Eagle, Ge Xiaoyao, and Xiao Yao had already been sent back to their lodgings halfway up the mountain. According to Kunlun Mountain rules, fourth-generation disciples are not allowed to stay overnight at Kunyu Palace unless there is a major enemy situation.

"I want to go down the mountain to help Brother Jiang Ziya!" Ge Xiaoyao said solemnly.

Yin San and Duo Mei were moved.

"Brother, I'll go with you!" Yin San said urgently.

Duo Mei stared intently at Ge Xiaoyao without speaking.

The White-headed Eagle seemed to understand something and also looked at Ge Xiaoyao.

Ge Xiaoyao shook his head, "No, you all stay in Kunlun to continue your cultivation. I'll go alone, with it!" Ge Xiaoyao pointed to the White-headed Eagle.

The White-headed Eagle seemed to understand Ge Xiaoyao's words, flapped its wings twice, and let out an excited cry.

"Sigh, the boss isn't taking me again!" Yin San said dejectedly.

Duo Mei blinked her beautiful eyes and said leisurely, "Big brother, what about Xiao Yao?"

Ge Xiaoyao pondered for a moment, then sighed, "Xiao Yao is my sister, and I will always treat her as my own sister!" After saying that, he looked at Duo Mei.

Duo Mei nodded calmly, "I understand, I will go and talk to her!"

Ge Xiaoyao thought for a moment and said, "Take good care of her for me!"

Duo Mei nodded.

Chapter 170 Supporting Zhou and Destroying Shang (Part 2)

Ge Xiaoyao bid farewell to Duo Mei and Yin San, and rode his white-headed eagle away from Kunlun overnight.

He did not want to stay in Kunlun any longer, because he felt he could not tell Xiao Yao.

"Perhaps one day, you will understand my good intentions, and the dream should end... Xiao Yao!" Ge Xiaoyao removed his immortal power shield, letting the cold mountain wind hit his face. He took a deep breath and thought to himself.

Ge Xiaoyao only took the white-headed eagle to find Jiang Ziya, but he did not know where to look. Because, according to Duo Mei, Jiang Ziya went to support Zhou and destroy Shang according to his master's orders, and now his whereabouts were unknown.

However, Ge Xiaoyao wasn't worried, because once he arrived in Chaoge, he could use his telepathic communication technique to contact Jiang Ziya.

Ge Xiaoyao's Dragon-Slaying Blade could also be used for flight, but it wasn't as effortless as riding the giant eagle. More importantly, Ge Xiaoyao had another idea: "Damn! Riding an eagle is so cool, much better than those cranes! In a few days, I'll train this eagle, and it'll become a second living magic weapon."

The white-headed eagle finally followed its master down Kunlun, overjoyed, spreading its wings and flying with all its might, swift as the wind, covering a thousand miles in an instant.

"In the Northern Darkness there is a fish, its name is Kun. Kun is so large, no one knows how many thousands of miles it spans. It transforms into a bird, its name is Peng. Peng

's back is so vast, no one knows how many thousands of miles it spans; when it flies in anger, its wings are like clouds hanging from the sky..." Ge Xiaoyao was in high spirits, and couldn't help but think of Zhuangzi's "Free and Easy Wandering," thinking to himself, "Damn! Even the Kunpeng is probably nothing special!"

While Ge Xiaoyao thought this, when he saw the real Kunpeng, he had another idea: to absorb the Kunpeng's soul into this white-headed eagle. Of course, that's a story for later, so let's leave it at that.

Now, Ge Xiaoyao arrived outside Chaoge City and used the Thousand-Mile Transmission Technique to summon Jiang Ziya. Soon after, he received news from Jiang Ziya, which greatly surprised Ge Xiaoyao. It turned out that Chaoge City was now in chaos, filled with demons and poison. The nine-tailed fox spirit Daji had killed Boyi Kao, chopped him into minced meat, made meat pies, and given them to Ji Chang, the Marquis of Xibo, to eat. She had also made a bet with King Zhou, forcing Bigan to commit suicide by cutting out his heart.

Now, she intends to feign releasing Ji Chang back to Xiqi, but secretly ambush him en route to incite chaos among the feudal lords. Jiang Ziya tells Ge Xiaoyao to wait on the only road from Chaoge to Xiqi, to intercept the assassins, and to escort the Marquis of Xibo back to Xiqi.

Ge Xiaoyao readily agrees; with his current cultivation, rescuing even a few assassins or thousands of soldiers would be a piece of cake.

However, Ge Xiaoyao feels a pang of sorrow for Bigan: "Bigan, Bigan, you didn't die at my hands, but at Daji's, and by disemboweling yourself... Alas! Such is the will of Heaven, who can do anything about it..." In fact, Ge Xiaoyao already knew that the Marquis of

Xibo was none other than King Wen of Zhou, who later overthrew King Zhou and established the Zhou dynasty. Going to save the day was firstly at Jiang Ziya's request, as Ge Xiaoyao had no goodwill towards King Zhou's Shang dynasty.

Secondly, it was in accordance with the will of Heaven. Although he didn't really believe in fate, until he had the ability to defy it, it was better to go with the flow. What was this fate? Ge Xiaoyao felt it was history. Because since he arrived in the Shang Dynasty, despite doing so many things, it seemed he hadn't been able to reverse the course of history.

Persistence wasn't the same as willfulness, and strength was definitely not stubbornness; Ge Xiaoyao naturally understood this principle. "Those who understand the times are heroes," wasn't just a derogatory term.

At the mouth of the Yellow River, towering waves surged, the Yellow River water, carrying large amounts of silt, surging eastward. A copper rope that had once been used for ferries was now broken, half lying in the water, swaying wildly like a waterweed.

Two men in black, one tall and one short, stood on the rocks by the river, gazing eastward.

"That old fellow Ji Chang is too slow! How come he hasn't arrived after several days!" the tall one said.

"Hehe, he probably died on the way... wouldn't that save us some trouble?" the short one chuckled.

"That's good, but Her Majesty ordered us to bring back his head, and to mark him with the Black Tiger Camp of Youzhou, to incite rebellion between the lords of Xiqi and Youzhou. If he dies on the way, how will we report back?" the tall man worried.

"Hmm!" the short man sighed, "That's troublesome too. But, I hope that old fellow hasn't crossed the Yellow River ahead of us!"

“No… absolutely not…” the tall man said. “We broke that copper rope the day before yesterday. Now the Yellow River is so windy and the waves are so high, even birds can’t fly across. Let’s not let an old man like him get away with it!”

“Heh heh, who said even birds can’t fly across!” A cold voice suddenly rang out beside them.

Both men were startled and quickly turned their backs to each other, drawing their swords. “Who… who…”

But there was no one in front of them.

“Second brother, we didn’t hear wrong, did we…” the tall man said.

“Maybe, there’s no one… it’s just a damn ghost…” the short man said.

At this moment, the tall man looked east and saw a black horse galloping towards them. “Second brother, that old guy is here!”

the short man gritted his teeth, his eyes flashing with murderous intent. “Good! Good for you…”

“Yeah… good for you. It seems like you’re no longer needed here…” the cold voice rang out again.

The two men shuddered, but this time they saw clearly that the man stood before them, also dressed in black, his face veiled, obscuring his features. However, the knife he held was ancient and clearly no ordinary weapon.

"You...you...who are you?" the taller man asked.

"Heh, you don't need to know!" the man in black said coldly.

"Second brother, go! Kill him!" Before the taller man could finish his threat, he felt a sharp pain in his chest, and his body involuntarily floated backward.

"Splash...splash..." Two loud splashes, and the two men in black, one tall and one short, fell into the water, instantly swept away by the rushing Yellow River.

At that moment, the black horse arrived at the riverbank, and the rider was none other than Ji Chang, the Marquis of Xibo.

Just now, Ji Chang had clearly witnessed the two men in black fall into the river without the man in black even moving. Now, arriving at the riverbank, he was shocked to see that the copper rope across the river had been cut, and his heart sank.

"Lord Xibo, how have you been?" Ge Xiaoyao pulled down his black veil and greeted him politely with a smile. Seeing that the Lord Xibo was now covered in dust and looked haggard, he was nothing like the once spirited Lord Xibo; he resembled a frail old man in his twilight years, and Ji Chang felt another pang of sorrow.

Upon seeing Ge Xiaoyao, the Lord Xibo hurriedly tumbled off his horse and said, "So it's Lord Anle. Did you wait for me by the river?" He had known Ge Xiaoyao for a long time and considered him a close friend, but the tumultuous journey to Chaoge had left him unable to discern who was good and who was bad, hence his question.

Ge Xiaoyao quickly smiled and said, "You're too kind, Lord Marquis. I was just waiting for you to escort you across the river back to Xiqi!"

Hearing this, the Marquis of Xibo secretly breathed a sigh of relief. Since his release from Chaoge, he had been worried about being pursued on the road, so he had been hiding and traveling by night, dodging several assassination attempts before finally reaching the Yellow River.

Ge Xiaoyao's words deeply moved him.

"Lord Anle is like an immortal; he can certainly ensure my safe return to Xiqi!" he thought to himself, and immediately expressed his deepest gratitude.

Ge Xiaoyao quickly stepped forward and helped the Marquis of Xibo up, saying, "Lord Marquis, don't thank me. I learned of the news very late, and you've suffered these past few days!"

The Marquis of Xibo was about to speak again, but Ge Xiaoyao interrupted him, "Lord Marquis, this is not the place to talk. Those two people were probably scouts; a large army will be chasing us soon! We must cross the river immediately!"

"But the copper rope is broken, and there's no ferry..." the Marquis of Xibo said.

Ge Xiaoyao smiled slightly and said, "My lord, there's no need to worry, I have a plan!"

At this moment, a hoarse cry came from the sky, and the white-headed eagle circled once before landing steadily beside Ge Xiaoyao. It was telepathically connected to Ge Xiaoyao and had flown over without his call.

"This is..." Seeing that the white-headed eagle was quite intelligent, the Marquis of Xibo was momentarily at a loss for what to do.

Ge Xiaoyao smiled and said, "My lord, don't be afraid, we'll cross the river on this eagle!" With that, he secretly used his immortal power to lift the Marquis of Xibo onto the eagle's back, and then he also leaped onto the eagle's back. The white-headed eagle let out a long hoarse cry, took off, and with just one flap of its wings, flew across the Yellow River.

The Marquis of Xibo calmed himself down and looked back east, only to see that a cavalry force had already caught up to the riverbank. He thought to himself, "That was close, that was close..." He was grateful to Ge Xiaoyao and thanked him repeatedly.

Ge Xiaoyao smiled and said, "My lord, please don't thank me. Please

close your eyes and sit down. We'll be in Xiqi soon. This divine eagle is quite fast; I'm afraid it might startle you!" The Marquis of Xibo closed his eyes as instructed, only to feel the wind whistling past his ears. After a short while, the wind stopped abruptly, and he heard Ge Xiaoyao say, "My lord, we've arrived!"

He was half-believing and half-doubting, but when he opened his eyes, he indeed saw that he was already on the outskirts of Xiqi, with his own city of Xiqi visible in the distance. He immediately turned around and thanked Ge Xiaoyao.

"Damn it! Stop thanking me like that!" Ge Xiaoyao thought to himself, annoyed. He quickly said, "My lord, I have other matters to attend to and cannot escort you back to the city. We should be safe now that we're in Xiqi territory! Also, please don't call me Marquis Anle anymore; I have already offended King Zhou."

The Marquis of Xibo was taken aback, then sighed, "King Zhou is tyrannical, he favors Daji, virtuous ministers are persecuted, and the people suffer. What use is such a foolish ruler?..." His tone shifted, and he said bitterly, "He killed my son and forced me to eat my own flesh and blood. I will avenge this blood feud..."

"Damn it! Just say you want revenge for your son's death, what's the point of all that high-sounding talk!" Ge Xiaoyao thought to himself, then after a moment's thought, he said, "If Your Excellency truly intends this, go to the Wei River in seven days. If you see someone fishing with a straight hook, that person is the one who will assist Your Excellency in achieving your goal!"

The Marquis of Xibo pondered for a moment before saying, "Thank you for your guidance, Anle... oh, no, Brother Ge!"

Ge Xiaoyao smiled and said, "Also, you must not mention to anyone that I escorted you back to Xiqi. If you really have to say it, just say that your 101st adopted son—Lei Zhenzi—flew you back on his back!"

The Marquis of Xibo exclaimed in surprise, "Ah, Brother Ge must be an immortal! When I adopted Lei Zhenzi as my son, only the two of us knew about it."

"Hehe, I'm afraid not now. Go to the 21st century, and everyone on Earth will know!" Ge Xiaoyao chuckled inwardly, but said, "I am not an immortal. These words are conveyed to you, Marquis, by a wise man through me!" He glanced at the sky and added, "It's getting late, Marquis, you should return early! Ge Xiaoyao must go too!"

Just as Marquis Xibo was about to speak, Ge Xiaoyao vanished in a flash, and the giant eagle circled twice in the sky before disappearing into the horizon.

He shook his head sharply, realizing he wasn't dreaming, and calmed himself before heading towards Xiqi City.

Chapter 171 Supporting Zhou and Destroying Shang (Part 2)

Ge Xiaoyao rescued Marquis Xibo and headed straight for the Wei River. He and Jiang Ziya had made a promise to meet on the banks of the Wei River.

The Wei River was the largest river in Xiqi, flowing around the city for thousands of miles.

This river originates from the snow-capped peaks of Kunlun. It is wide, deep, and turbulent, yet only a gentle, shallow stretch exists outside Xiqi City, like a jade ribbon softly encircling this peaceful western city.

"Alas, perhaps in a few days, this place will no longer be peaceful!" Ge Xiaoyao sighed inwardly, gazing at the shimmering water flowing eastward under the setting sun. In the distance, he could already see an old man sitting on a large rock, fishing with a rod in the fading sunlight.

"Brother, how have you been these past few days?" Ge Xiaoyao flew down to Jiang Ziya.

Jiang Ziya chuckled, "Fine, fine, Brother Ge… what stroke of luck have you had this time? Your health has recovered so quickly? Hmm… your cultivation seems to have improved many times over!"

"It's a long story!" Ge Xiaoyao was quite excited to see Jiang Ziya, saying, "I must first thank you, Brother, for saving me and Xiaoyao!"

Jiang Ziya stroked his beard, put away his fishing rod, and said, "Brother, why are you being so polite? Saving you was only natural, and saving Xiao Yao didn't take much effort either, just a small favor!"

Ge Xiaoyao knew, of course, that with Jiang Ziya's cultivation level, dealing with the enchanting fox under the Nine-Tailed Fox's command was a piece of cake. Seeing Jiang Ziya put away his rod, he quickly moved closer, "Brother, is your fishing hook really straight?"

Jiang Ziya laughed and handed the fishing rod to Ge Xiaoyao.

Ge Xiaoyao looked at it and was speechless, chuckling, "So you were lying! What straight hook? It's clearly just a regular curved hook!"

Jiang Ziya smiled and said, "Yes... a straight hook is for those who are willing to take the bait, but none of the fish in the river are willing to take the bait, so of course I'll use a curved hook!" As he spoke, he went to pack up the fish basket woven from water plants.

Hearing Jiang Ziya's words, Ge Xiaoyao's heart stirred, as if he had realized something, but he couldn't quite put his finger on it. He stepped forward to help Jiang Ziya lift the basket, and saw that it contained seven or eight red carp, each weighing over a pound.

"Brother, in that case, if the Marquis of Xibo were to come looking for you with a straight hook, wouldn't he miss you?" Ge Xiaoyao said.

Jiang Ziya shook his head with a smile as they walked. "Brother Ge, to be honest, this fishing rod is transformed from my Apricot Yellow Banner, and that hook is transformed from the God-Slaying Whip. Both are my magic weapons. Tell me, isn't the choice between a straight hook and a curved hook just a matter of my will?"

"Damn! Using these two magic weapons to fish, truly worthy of being my silly, foolish older brother, Ge Xiaoyao!" Ge Xiaoyao thought to himself, then added, "Isn't this using a sledgehammer to crack a nut?"

Jiang Ziya pondered for a moment and said, "If I wanted to catch a few fish, I would only need to recite a true incantation, and the fish would naturally jump ashore! Using magic weapons to fish is a pretense; cultivating one's mind and character is the real purpose!"

Ge Xiaoyao nodded and smiled, "This is the old saying, 'The drunkard's intention is not in the wine, and the fisherman's heart is not in the fish,' isn't it?"

Jiang Ziya smiled knowingly, seemingly quite satisfied with Ge Xiaoyao's words. "Brother Ge, let's hurry up a few steps. When we reach the thatched hut ahead, I'll make you a Nine-Heart True Fire Roasted Red Carp!"

Ge Xiaoyao laughed heartily, thinking to himself, "That must be an unparalleled delicacy!" "Thank you so much, brother!" Ge Xiaoyao hurriedly said.

Jiang Ziya replied, "Don't thank me yet. You must tell me in detail about your encounter at Dragon Immortal Pool!"

"Damn! So that's what it was about!" Ge Xiaoyao thought to himself, nodding in agreement, "Okay!"

The Nine Hearts True Fire was one of the functions of Jiang Ziya's magic weapon, the Apricot Yellow Banner, and it was incredibly powerful. However, it was also extremely delicious when used to cook fish. Ge Xiaoyao couldn't resist the aroma and wanted to devour it.

Fortunately, there were seven or eight fish, which was enough for the two of them.

Jiang Ziya had also stored two jars of fine wine here, which was perfect for Ge Xiaoyao to enjoy with the fish.

As Ge Xiaoyao ate, he recounted in detail his encounter with the Dragon Immortal at Dragon Immortal Pool, how the Dragon Immortal healed his injuries, the Dragon-Slaying Blade, the Dragon Immortal's Sacrificial Record, and the Dragon Immortal Platform, only omitting the part about the connection between Taiyi Zhenren and the Dragon Immortal. After all, he was a shrewd man and didn't need to get involved in the private affairs of the Kunlun disciples.

Jiang Ziya nodded as he ate, finally realizing that the dragon-shaped illusion on Kunlun Mountain was the work of the Dragon Immortal. He said, "Brother Ge, since you were once a supreme Dragon Immortal in ancient times, and now you have obtained the Dragon Immortal's divine power, your cultivation is advancing by leaps and bounds. I'm afraid that in a few years, even my cultivation will be below yours!"

Ge Xiaoyao smiled and said, "Brother, what are you saying? I know. Brother, you are following your master's orders to help Zhou destroy Shang and protect the Chan Sect. After your success, your merits will be immeasurable, and you will be ranked first among all immortals!"

Jiang Ziya pondered for a moment. "Supporting Zhou and destroying Shang, upholding the Chan Sect, is easy to talk about. Although King Zhou is tyrannical, he has deep roots and hundreds of thousands of troops at his beck and call. Moreover, this time he will probably be aided by the evil immortals and demons of the Jie Sect, making his strength extraordinary. It will be difficult for the mere vassal state of Xiqi to overthrow him!"

Ge Xiaoyao smiled and said, "Brother, you are far-sighted and resourceful. What are a few evil immortals and demons? Even if we are not strong enough, we can unite with other vassal states to launch a joint uprising and overthrow the tyrannical king!"

"Hmm...that is a good idea!" Jiang Ziya said, "When the Marquis of Xibo arrives, we can offer this advice!"

Everything went even more smoothly than expected. The next day, the Marquis of Xibo, Ji Chang, eager to save a wise man, came to the Wei River and successfully found Jiang Ziya fishing with a straight hook. After a long talk, the two returned to Xiqi City together and he was honored as prime minister.

Three days later, the Marquis of Xibo summoned the civil and military officials of Xiqi and the leaders of the various prefectures under his jurisdiction, announcing the organization of a righteous army to overthrow the tyrannical King Zhou.

At this time, Ge Xiaoyao had been following Jiang Ziya closely. He secretly helped Jiang Ziya recruit soldiers and quickly built an army of 100,000.

Xiqi had grown rapidly in recent years, with ample funds and supplies. However, the Marquis of Xibo was kind-hearted and disliked war, so his military strength was weak. Although the newly recruited troops were numerous, their fighting ability was extremely weak.

"Brother Ge, I am quite proficient in troop deployment, but I don't know much about training soldiers. Do you have any good ideas?" Late at night, Jiang Ziya, having just finished his work, returned to his residence and asked Ge Xiaoyao.

"Heh, finally they need me!" Ge Xiaoyao smiled wryly. These past few days he had nothing to do, following Jiang Ziya like a shadow, unable to help even if he wanted to, because he knew nothing about strategies, proclamations, or alliances.

“Brother, this is my forte. Back when I led troops in Dongyi, the Angry Lion Army was a force to be reckoned with in all directions. Even now, many Dongyi soldiers still tremble at the mere mention of the Angry Lion Army!” Ge Xiaoyao said with considerable pride.

Jiang Ziya smiled and said, "Brother, I know this, but things are different now. Back then, the Angry Lion Army you led was originally composed of soldiers reorganized from the Tiger Might Army, but now they are all newly recruited civilians who have never handled weapons or experienced battle..."

Ge Xiaoyao nodded, pondered for a moment, and said, "Now it's not a problem with the army, but with the individual soldiers. In other words, the individual combat strength is too weak, which affects the morale of the entire army!"

Jiang Ziya said, "That's exactly what I mean!"

Ge Xiaoyao thought for a moment, then suddenly chuckled and said, "Brother, I am a physician, skilled at regulating people's blood and qi, making these soldiers fierce. It's not that I don't have a way, but I'm afraid it's a bit too insidious!"

Jiang Ziya hurriedly said, "What way? Extraordinary times call for extraordinary measures. Now we have raised the banner of righteousness, King Zhou is furious, and has sent Your Majesty to suppress him, to support Zhou in destroying Shang. This battle is of utmost importance; we can only win, not lose!"

“That’s true. If we’re wiped out in the first battle, we might as well forget about the grand plan of supporting Zhou and destroying Shang!” Ge Xiaoyao thought to himself, then said, “Actually, it’s quite simple. Just add some aphrodisiac herbs to the soldiers’ daily meals!”

“Aphrodisiac herbs?” Jiang Ziya exclaimed in surprise, pondering for a long time before saying, “That is indeed a method, but with an army of 100,000, how many herbs would be needed to be effective?”

Ge Xiaoyao smiled slightly and lowered his voice, “We only need to give the soldiers a little bit of blood and energy to boost their morale. We’re not training an army of beasts and wolves. Besides, those new recruits are all young and vigorous. If we give them too much, it might backfire!”

Jiang Ziya was still somewhat worried, “Even so, we still have to send soldiers to collect herbs. If this gets out, it might not be good!”

"Damn it! My brother, you were just saying that extraordinary times call for extraordinary measures, and I was about to praise you, but how come you're so stupid here?" Ge Xiaoyao was secretly annoyed, but he still patiently said, "Brother, with our cultivation level, do we need soldiers to gather this herb?"

"Then how do we get it?" Jiang Ziya asked, puzzled.

"Sigh, no wonder you have the lowest cultivation level among the Ge brothers, how can you be so clueless!" Ge Xiaoyao cursed inwardly, of course he couldn't show this emotion on his face, but he was too lazy to explain to Jiang Ziya anymore, so he said, "Brother, you don't need to worry about this, leave everything to me. Within three days, your soldiers will be full of energy and killing intent!"

"Hmm... Alright! Brother Ge, everything depends on you!" Jiang Ziya couldn't have been happier to hear Ge Xiaoyao say this, and immediately agreed.

Seeing Jiang Ziya agree so readily, with a strange smile on his face, Ge Xiaoyao suddenly felt as if he had been tricked. "Damn! Could I have been schemed against... No way!" He thought about it carefully, and suddenly exclaimed in admiration, "Sigh! I really admire this brother. His cunning is extraordinary. He was asking me to do something, but in the end, it turned into me volunteering! This move is really brilliant. It seems I need to learn from him sometime. This wisdom of feigning ignorance!"

That night, Ge Xiaoyao left Jiang Ziya for the first time in dozens of days and acted alone.

The white-headed eagle finally found an opportunity to fly a thousand miles. These days, it had been locked up in Jiang Ziya's mansion by Ge Xiaoyao and had been feeling extremely stifled. Understanding that its master Ge Xiaoyao was going on a long trip, it excitedly squawked loudly.

The white-headed eagle was an ancient spirit bird, and with the guidance of Duo Mei in Kunlun, its cultivation was no weaker than that of ordinary cultivators. These past few days, having just arrived at Ge Xiaoyao's side, and having been trained by Ge Xiaoyao with his incomparably powerful dragon immortal force, its power had increased even further. Its eyes gleamed in the darkness, its fur was impervious to blades and spears, and its wings could instantly travel a thousand miles.

At dawn, Ge Xiaoyao returned to the Prime Minister's residence, and even Jiang Ziya didn't know where he had gone.

Jiang Ziya, harboring a mischievous intent, tried to use divination to ascertain Ge Xiaoyao's movements that night, but to no avail. He sighed inwardly, "Perhaps Ge Xiaoyao's cultivation is already on par with mine, to the point that the Kunlun-exclusive divination technique has failed."

Upon his return, Ge Xiaoyao secluded himself in a secret room in the Prime Minister's residence and declared to Jiang Ziya that until that night, unless he came out himself, no one and nothing was allowed to disturb him, not even an earthquake or fire.

Jiang Ziya naturally obeyed the order, as he was also eager to know what Ge Xiaoyao was up to. Frustratingly, with his cultivation level, he couldn't even guess what Ge Xiaoyao was trying to do!

Chapter 172 Wei River Dragon Palace (Part 1)

Xiqi City, by the Wei River.

After walking across the flat riverbank, tired of the calm water, Ge Xiaoyao walked upstream along the riverbank. The white-headed eagle followed behind him, not flying, but mimicking Ge Xiaoyao's movements, walking with its wings swaying backwards.

"Duo Mei, Xiao Yao, what are you doing?" Ge Xiaoyao wondered to himself, watching the increasingly rapid river. In the blink of an eye, more than a month had passed since he descended from Kunlun Mountain. He wondered how they were doing, whether Xiao Yao had come to her senses. The further

upstream they went, the higher the riverbed became, and the faster the current surged. Every now and then, one or two huge rocks appeared in the river, the rushing water crashing against them, splashing up white spray.

"Sigh, Duo Mei and Xiao Yao probably wash and bathe in this water too!" Ge Xiaoyao knew that this water originated from the snow-capped peaks of Kunlun and flowed through the Kunlun Mountains. He picked up a pebble and gently tossed it into the water, but unexpectedly startled a few fish, which aroused the lazy white-headed eagle behind him. The eagle shot out like an arrow, its sharp beak accurately catching a large fish, shaking it twice before swallowing it whole, and then calling out to Ge Xiaoyao with a hint of satisfaction.

Ge Xiaoyao smiled knowingly, "Damn! Did eating soldiers' food make you so fierce?" He picked up two more pebbles and threw them into the river, but these two attempts failed to scare the fish. Disappointed, the white-headed eagle flew back and followed Ge Xiaoyao, still swaying with each step.

Just two days ago, Ge Xiaoyao, having stolen hundreds of kilograms of top-grade medicinal herbs from the Chaoge palace overnight, processed them into over a dozen bags of powdered aphrodisiac in a single day. He then summoned Jiang Ziya to distribute the powdered medicine, secretly mixing it into the soldiers' food and water. Within a day, the effects were immediately apparent. Generals reported that the soldiers' morale and fighting spirit had greatly increased, each one brimming with energy and fierceness, like wild wolves.

Jiang Ziya was overjoyed and ordered all the generals to intensify their training to prepare for the attack by King Zhou of Shang. He then pulled Ge Xiaoyao into an inner room and praised him greatly. With

everything in place, the Xiqi army's morale soared, their troops were well-trained and well-supplied, and they focused on training, awaiting the arrival of King Zhou's punitive army. Meanwhile, Ge Xiaoyao found himself with some free time. When he grew tired of cultivating his supreme martial arts, he would take his white-headed eagle for a stroll along the Wei River. He had

just thrown two pebbles into the water, which hadn't startled the fish, but it had stirred Ge Xiaoyao's playful spirit. "Damn! Since we have nothing else to do, let's go a little further upstream. The Wei River is swift; maybe we'll find some herbs we like!"

Ge Xiaoyao whistled, and the white-headed eagle rushed a few steps, hoisted Ge Xiaoyao onto its back, and took flight, heading straight for the upper reaches of the Wei River.

Following Ge Xiaoyao's instructions, the eagle didn't fly very high, allowing Ge Xiaoyao to clearly see every blade of grass and tree along the Wei River.

"This Wei River is indeed extraordinary, no less impressive than the Yangtze!" Ge Xiaoyao knew that the Yangtze River in his modern time had dried up considerably, making it roughly the same size as the Wei River now.

"Damn! What's that up ahead?" Ge Xiaoyao looked down from the eagle's back and was surprised to find that the wide river surface was shimmering with a restrained light, seemingly forming a huge vortex, constantly rising water vapor that formed a small cloud in mid-air.

Ge Xiaoyao suddenly remembered that when Jiang Ziya taught him the Supreme Mystic Skill, he had explained the Three Immortals' Barrier, one of the explanations being this very scene. "Where the whirlpool flows, the upper part is turbid and the lower part is clear; this is the Dragon Palace's barrier!"

"Hehe, what a coincidence... I've stumbled upon the Dragon Palace today. A rare opportunity indeed! I'll go down and take a look!" Ge Xiaoyao's cultivation was increasing daily, and his courage was growing ever bolder; he was willing to dabble in any adventurous place.

Ge Xiaoyao patted the white-headed eagle's wings, signaling it to land. "Brother Eagle, I'm going to take a look at the Dragon Palace. You wait for me here. If I don't return in three to five days, go back to the Xiqi army camp; there will naturally be someone to take care of you there!" Ge Xiaoyao instructed.

The white-headed eagle looked at Ge Xiaoyao, then at the Wei River whirlpool, understanding Ge Xiaoyao's meaning, and let out a few hoarse cries of agreement.

Ge Xiaoyao smiled slightly, a thought arising, and a protective shield of immortal power rose. He suddenly leaped, like a giant fish, into the enormous whirlpool.

The Wei River was already deep and turbulent, and the suction force within this whirlpool was even greater. Ge Xiaoyao felt immense pressure as soon as he jumped in, his body involuntarily spinning with the current. Fortunately, he had a protective shield of immortal power, so he wasn't afraid of injury.

"Damn! What kind of barrier is this? At this rate, I'll get dizzy!" Ge Xiaoyao thought to himself, quickly channeling his supreme profound skill, unleashing a burst of dragon immortal power to dissipate the spinning force and stabilize himself.

He then saw clearly that although the whirlpool was large, the water was extremely clear, further confirming his suspicion that this was a Dragon Palace barrier. Looking at the water snakes and white fish around him, desperately trying to escape but unable to, Ge Xiaoyao chuckled inwardly: "Even these aquatic creatures can't escape this Dragon Palace barrier; they'll probably become the Dragon King's food!"

Ge Xiaoyao knew that the location of this Dragon Palace barrier was not fixed, and its formation and disappearance only lasted a few days. "I'd better go in for a quick look and then come out, lest I miss the great show of Jiang Ziya's battle against King Zhou's army!" Thinking this, Ge Xiaoyao took a deep breath, closed his eyes abruptly, unleashed his Dragon Immortal Power, and plunged into the swirling water.

When Ge Xiaoyao could no longer feel the current, he opened his eyes and couldn't help but exclaim in surprise, "Damn! This Dragon Palace is truly extraordinary!"

It turned out that the place Ge Xiaoyao had submerged was a vast coral forest within the Wei River Dragon Palace.

Vibrant red and white corals grew in the clear water, each emitting a crystalline brilliance, like starlight. But looking up at the sky, the underwater world was a deep blue, so beautiful it was as if he had stepped into a dream.

"A mere Wei River Dragon Palace possesses such a vast coral forest; must the East Sea Dragon King's palace be filled with mountains of pearls?" Ge Xiaoyao secretly marveled at the wealth of this Dragon Palace. He walked through the forest, exploring the Dragon Palace's location in all directions.

After walking about a hundred steps forward, a magnificent and enormous white stone palace came into view. In the square in front of the palace, beautiful women carrying various items moved back and forth.

The women's figures were breathtakingly beautiful; their slightly transparent latex suits and scale-like garments clung to their exquisite bodies, exuding a seductive charm as they swayed in the water.

"Hehe...it seems this Dragon King is quite the lecher, otherwise why would he have so many beauties? It's even more debauched than King Zhou's Star-Picking Tower and Deer Terrace!"

The beauties were all wrapped in latex and scale-like garments, their black hair tied up high, adorned with exquisite ornaments. Upon closer inspection, Ge Xiaoyao secretly realized, "Oh, this is a carp, oh, this is a shrimp, hmm...not bad, not bad, these shrimp women are indeed more voluptuous and sexy than fish women!"

Looking at them, Ge Xiaoyao couldn't help but exclaim, "No wonder people say the Dragon Palace is so good, it turns out the beauties there are even more stunning than those on Earth!"

Ge Xiaoyao quietly hid in the coral forest, not revealing himself. "Damn! I wonder if that invisibility spell will work here?"

At this moment, Ge Xiaoyao saw four large golden characters written on the palace—"Wei River Dragon Palace." His eyes darted around, and he immediately had a plan.

"Hehe..." Ge Xiaoyao first recited the invisibility incantation, concealing his figure. Then, with a flick of his left middle finger, the jade tablet of the Wei River Dragon Palace snapped, emitting a golden light that seemed about to fall.

Ge Xiaoyao controlled his Dragon Immortal Power with ease, perfectly controlling the force to both startle the fish and shrimp women without shattering the jade tablet.

Hearing the sound, the fish and shrimp women were indeed startled and gathered around, staring in astonishment at the jade tablet.

"What treasure struck the jade tablet? Sisters, let's find it!" Sure enough, one of the women spoke up, and the others scattered, searching for the golden treasure that had struck the dragon tablet.

One woman walked directly towards Ge Xiaoyao, but ignored him completely, walking straight past him. Ge Xiaoyao was secretly delighted; it turned out that this invisibility technique could also be used in the Dragon Palace. Later, he learned that the invisibility spell had different levels depending on the caster's immortal power. With Ge Xiaoyao's current cultivation, let alone in the Dragon Palace, even in the Immortal Realm, ordinary celestial maids would be unable to see through it. Ge Xiaoyao

was quite pleased with himself and swaggered into the plaza. He saw a fish woman whose shimmering scales gleamed with a metallic sheen, dazzlingly beautiful. Curious, he grabbed a handful and was surprised to find them soft, smooth, and wonderfully comfortable to the touch.

The fish woman was startled and quickly turned around, but saw no one. She shook her head, blushing.

Ge Xiaoyao chuckled inwardly and walked towards the palace.

Just then, he heard a delicate voice exclaim, "Look! There's a golden pearl here!"

Ge Xiaoyao looked and saw a shrimp woman squatting on the ground. In front of her long, white legs, a large, bowl-sized golden pearl shimmered brightly. A dozen or so fish and shrimp women had already gathered around.

"Damn! What is that thing?!" Ge Xiaoyao wondered to himself, and was about to go and see what it was when he heard the women exclaim in surprise.

Ge Xiaoyao watched from a distance and couldn't help but smile. It turned out that the golden bead had suddenly become incredibly bright, and within the golden light, it slowly transformed into a delicate human figure. Gradually, it solidified into a bright-eyed, white-toothed girl of about fifteen or sixteen years old, with a mischievous smile on her face.

Ge Xiaoyao felt a strange fondness for this girl, but anyone would probably find it hard not to like this clever and pretty little girl.

The fish and shrimp women all bowed down and called out sweetly, "Greetings, Second Princess Qiqi!"

The little girl smiled happily and said, "No need for formalities. Did I scare you just now?"

The women all shook their heads, but their faces showed a helpless expression.

"The Second Princess?" Ge Xiaoyao thought to himself, "Could she be a dragon princess?"

Ge Xiaoyao guessed correctly; this mischievous little girl was indeed the Dragon King's second princess, named Qi Qi. She was a notorious troublemaker in the Dragon Palace, and even the Dragon King couldn't handle her. Anyone who saw her at first glance would like her, but after spending time with her, they would inevitably get a headache. When Princess Qi Qi was ten years old, she encountered a passing immortal on the Wei River who taught her transformation magic, and she became unstoppable. From then on, large bowl-shaped golden beads, seven-colored stones, and gilded pillars would often appear inexplicably in the Dragon Palace. Moreover, some of the Dragon Palace ministers and shrimp soldiers and crab generals would sometimes inexplicably see another version of themselves, swaggering around the palace and causing trouble. However, she was a princess, and even the Dragon King was helpless against her. What could they do but let it be?

The fish and shrimp girls, seeing Princess Qiqi, all fell silent, standing motionless and not daring to speak. This was the method they had developed over the years for dealing with this unruly princess: no matter how much trouble she caused, they would pretend not to see her.

Seeing the women's indifference, Qiqi's face flushed red with helplessness. She stamped her foot and said angrily, "Boring! No fun... I'm not playing with you anymore!" and ran straight towards Ge Xiaoyao.

Seeing Qiqi rushing towards him without warning, Ge Xiaoyao quickly dodged to the side and retreated. However, the second princess continued to chase after him, saying, "Hehe... why are you running? You're not from the Dragon Palace, what are you doing here?"

The fish and shrimp girls were initially surprised, but quickly calmed down. After all, these two princesses were known for their eccentricities and often did things that were unusual, so it wasn't surprising.

"Could she see me?" Ge Xiaoyao was genuinely startled.

Chapter 173 Wei River Dragon Palace (Part 2)

Ge Xiaoyao knew that if he argued with this unruly princess here, things would likely escalate. The fish and shrimp girls were watching Princess Qiqi like it was a spectacle, assuming she was just putting on an act out of boredom. But if she got fixated on him, some clever women might spot the flaw and summon the dragon palace's shrimp soldiers and crab generals.

Ge Xiaoyao didn't want to be exposed so soon after arriving at the Dragon Palace; he wanted to hide and thoroughly investigate its secrets!

"Looks like I have no choice but to run!" Seeing Princess Qiqi relentlessly pursuing him, Ge Xiaoyao turned and ran.

Princess Qiqi found this young man quite cute, someone she'd never seen before in the Dragon Palace, and assumed he must be interesting. So

she chased after him relentlessly, shouting and yelling. However, while her actions were reasonable, the fish and shrimp girls saw it differently, because Princess Qiqi's aimless running and shouting made her seem like a little madwoman. They stood there, wide-eyed, watching the princess leave.

"This princess really has a fierce streak!" Ge Xiaoyao chuckled inwardly. He had already run deep into the coral forest, where no one else was. So he stopped, turned around, crossed his arms, and smiled at the panting princess.

"You...you...why did you run?" Qi Qi suddenly squatted down, speaking casually.

"Are you talking about me?" Ge Xiaoyao replied with a smile, his expression unchanged.

Qi Qi rolled her eyes at Ge Xiaoyao. "If I'm not talking about you, who am I talking about! Is there anyone else here?"

"Oh?" Ge Xiaoyao nodded. He now believed that this princess was truly extraordinary; she could actually see through his invisibility spell. "You can really see me?"

"Nonsense! If I can't see you, why would I talk to a ghost?!" Princess Qi Qi had run all this way, only to receive these inexplicable answers. Annoyed, she spoke with a sharp tongue.

"Hmm...very good, very good!" Ge Xiaoyao smiled sinisterly.

"What's so good about it? Tell me quickly, who are you, and what are you doing in my Dragon Palace?" Qi Qi asked.

Ge Xiaoyao chuckled inwardly, thinking, "They think I'm a thief!" He knew he wasn't exactly a good person, but seeing Princess Qi Qi's straightforward nature, he felt a surge of mischief. He hesitated for a moment, then smiled, narrowing his eyes, and said, word by word, "I am a celestial being!"

"Ah! A celestial being? Then what are you doing, sneaking around like that?" Qi Qi was taken aback and immediately asked.

Ge Xiaoyao wasn't about to be stumped by this little blonde girl. He laughed and said, "I've come here on the Jade Emperor's orders to secretly investigate the affairs of the Dragon Palace. You mustn't tell anyone about this, or I'll report it to the Heavenly Court and punish you for leaking secrets. Then I'll strip you of your dragon body and banish you to the mortal realm to be a pig or a dog!"

"Ah...no!" Qi Qi was naturally mischievous and not very cunning. She was easily frightened by Ge Xiaoyao and completely believed him. Moreover, Ge Xiaoyao had a high level of cultivation and handsome features, and he really did look like a god. She nodded her head like a chicken pecking at rice. "God, I won't tell anyone!"

Ge Xiaoyao nodded solemnly. "Well, little sister, it's getting late. I have important things to do. You should go back now!"

Qi Qi nodded obediently and turned to leave.

Just as Ge Xiaoyao breathed a sigh of relief, she suddenly turned around and playfully smiled, "You call me little sister, so can I call you Heavenly God brother?"

Ge Xiaoyao smiled slightly, thinking to himself, "This is such a clever and mischievous girl!" He pretended to think for a moment before saying, "Hmm, sure! But you have to tell me something. Has anything happened in your Dragon Palace lately?"

Qi Qi raised her little face, thought for a moment, and then said, "Nothing much, except that my father and mother have been staying in the inner chambers these past few days and won't let me in. I wonder what they're doing?"

"Hmm, that's something! I'll sneak into the inner palace later and see what they're up to!" Ge Xiaoyao had only come to the Dragon Palace to wander around, and if he could see the Dragon King and Queen, his trip would certainly be worthwhile. After thinking for a moment, Ge Xiaoyao asked again, "By the way, little sister, no one else can see me with my Heavenly God Invisibility Technique, so why can you see me? Did you have some kind of extraordinary encounter?"

This time, Qi Qi said with some pride, "You don't know this, do you? When I was ten years old, I met Yuanshi Tianzun who was passing by the Wei River. He taught me the art of transformation and enlightened my Hidden Eyes, so no matter what kind of invisibility technique it is, it can't hide from my eyes!"

"So it was Yuanshi Tianzun who instructed her. No wonder she's so powerful!" Ge Xiaoyao thought that Yuanshi Tianzun and his group traveled all over the world every day, and whenever they encountered someone with good talent, they would teach them a move or two. In this way, they would have disciples all over the world, and wherever they went, there would be people serving them and calling them masters. He was used to this and said, "I see. Little sister, you have such magical power at such a young age. You have a bright future!"

Hearing Ge Xiaoyao's praise, Qi Qi felt a little proud, but she said, "What's so special about this? My older brother and sister are learning immortality in Cangmang Mountain. They can both fly with swords. Swish... swish... that's what you call powerful!" She said, gesturing as she spoke.

"Hmm, not bad, not bad!" Ge Xiaoyao nodded, then looked around, thinking, "This little girl is easy to fool. It would be easier if she took me into the palace!" He then said, "Little sister, how about this? I'm not familiar with this Dragon Palace, so why

don't you take me in?" Qi Qi nodded without hesitation, "Okay, as long as you play with me, I'll go wherever I want in the Dragon Palace!"

Ge Xiaoyao smiled and said, "Alright, let's go!"

So, in the eyes of the fish children, shrimp girls, shrimp soldiers, and crab generals, Princess Qi Qi, having had her fill of play, skipped and hopped back to the Dragon Palace. They couldn't see that a burly man was following behind her.

Ge Xiaoyao saw that this Dragon Palace was many times larger than the Dragon Immortal Mansion beneath the Dragon Immortal Pool at the Kunlun Snow Peak. Under the dazzling array of rare treasures, he and Qi Qi arrived at an extremely ornately decorated room.

"Come in!" Qi Qi said seriously, like an adult.

Ge Xiaoyao thought to himself, looking at the room decorated like a nursery, with all sorts of toys piled up everywhere. "This is your room, right?"

Qi Qi nodded solemnly. "Ah!"

"She's such a child who never grows up. Such a big girl, yet she's still like a wild child. How will she ever get married?" Ge Xiaoyao shook his head inwardly, speechless.

Qi Qi, however, perked up. "Heavenly God Brother, didn't you just say you were going to check on the affairs of the Dragon Palace?"

Ge Xiaoyao then remembered the lie he had made up earlier and hurriedly said, "I almost forgot about my important business. You rest now, I'm leaving!"

Qi Qi said, "Heavenly God Brother, come back when you're done!" She was still a child at heart, and no one dared to talk to her much in the Dragon Palace. Ge Xiaoyao was probably the person she talked to the most. Seeing Ge Xiaoyao about to leave, she was actually a little reluctant to part with him.

Ge Xiaoyao smiled and said, "Okay!" He found this little Princess Qi Qi quite interesting and thought that it wouldn't be bad to have a sister like her.

Just as Ge Xiaoyao was about to leave, Qi Qi suddenly said, "Brother Heavenly God, Father and Queen's rooms are at the back, the biggest one!"

Ge Xiaoyao smiled in response, thinking to himself, "This girl still cares about her parents!"

He left Qi Qi's room, not bothering to avoid the patrolling shrimp soldiers and crab generals, wandered around for a bit, and then headed straight for the Dragon King and Dragon Queen's room.

Before he even reached the door, Ge Xiaoyao heard a man's heavy breathing and, faintly, a woman's complaints.

Since obtaining the Dragon Immortal's power, Ge Xiaoyao's cultivation had greatly increased, and his hearing had also improved considerably. These sounds, which should have been difficult to hear even with his face pressed against the window, reached his ears without missing a single one.

"No way! Could it be..." Ge Xiaoyao chuckled inwardly. He had heard little Qi Qi speak as if something serious had happened; it turned out the Dragon King and Dragon Queen were playing marital games inside! "Sigh, Qi Qi really is just a clueless little girl!"

Ge Xiaoyao naturally had no interest in eavesdropping on the Dragon King's bedroom secrets. He turned to look elsewhere, but a woman's words caught his attention.

"Your Majesty, you're getting worse and worse! So boring!" the woman complained.

Ge Xiaoyao listened carefully and heard the Dragon King's heavy breathing, but he immediately became interested.

People often talk about occupational hazards, and doctors are no exception. Sometimes, seeing a patient and not being able to sleep well without examining them is a real ailment.

Ge Xiaoyao didn't know when he had contracted this hazard, but hearing the Dragon Queen's words made him itchy. He was originally a physician and had served as a royal physician in the Shang Dynasty's harem, dealing with ecstasy pills and tonics all day long. Now, seeing the Dragon King like this, he couldn't help but feel a little sorry for him. "I wonder if my ecstasy pills will have any effect on this Dragon King?" Ge Xiaoyao wondered to himself.

Ge Xiaoyao unconsciously moved closer to the room, where he could hear the sounds even more clearly. It was an enormous inner chamber, more than three times the size of Qi Qi's boudoir.

"The Dragon King is indeed the Dragon King! His body is enormous, even his room is much larger than others!" Ge Xiaoyao sighed inwardly. Looking at the room's furnishings, they were beyond luxurious.

A single luminous pearl hanging in the center of the room was the size of a basketball, even more dazzling than the golden pearl that had astonished the fish and shrimp girls when Qi Qi transformed.

"Such a large luminous pearl... one can only imagine how large a ten-thousand-year-old clam it must have been to produce it!" Ge Xiaoyao clicked his tongue in amazement. He thought this luminous pearl must not be from the Wei River; given the size of the Wei River, it probably couldn't produce such a large pearl.

Looking further into the room, several paintings and calligraphies hung on the walls, all the work of famous officials of the time. One of them was even by the Marquis of Xibo! Ge Xiaoyao couldn't help but sigh inwardly, realizing that the Dragon King also had connections with the court.

"For the sake of the Marquis of Xibo, I guess I should help him out!" Ge Xiaoyao made up his mind. Without even opening the door, his body effortlessly passed through the wall and stood in the room. His wall-passing technique was unparalleled; the only time he failed was by accident due to excessive energy depletion.

"Hmm?" Ge Xiaoyao was stunned, seemingly never having seen such a sensual scene before.

"No, no, absolutely not!" Ge Xiaoyao shook his head, closed his eyes, and when he opened them again, he abruptly closed them again, muttering to himself, "Too similar, how could it be? It can't be her, absolutely not her! Yan Qiang..."

The dragon concubine lying on the golden dragon bed looked remarkably like Yan Qiang, almost causing Ge Xiaoyao to jump in shock.

Chapter 174 Wei River Dragon Palace (Part 2)

Ge Xiaoyao used his invisibility and wall-penetrating abilities to enter the Dragon King's harem, unnoticed by the Dragon King and his consort.

However, upon entering the inner chamber, Ge Xiaoyao immediately noticed the striking resemblance between the Dragon Consort and his former confidante, Yan Qiang. He was momentarily shocked, taking a while to calm down.

"It's not Yan Qiang! How could it be Yan Qiang?" Ge Xiaoyao thought to himself. He realized that while the Dragon Consort resembled Yan Qiang, they were not the same person, and Yan Qiang had a red mole behind her ear, which the Dragon Consort lacked.

However, his mind was no longer focused on Yan Qiang. When he truly saw the Dragon Consort's jade-like body, his mind went blank. The Dragon Consort's two long, smooth legs were spread wide, her face showing displeasure yet undeniably alluring. Her occasional panting breaths, accompanied by the rising and falling of her upper body, created a scene of extreme eroticism and stimulation, indescribable in its beauty.

"Damn! That was so exciting!" Ge Xiaoyao thought to himself. He waited a while before slowly opening his eyes, but dared not look at the Dragon Consort, only at the Dragon King. Ge Xiaoyao saw that the Dragon King was also in human form, only he was fat and bloated. His belly and thighs were covered in white, fleshy fat, which made Ge Xiaoyao feel a little nauseous.

"This Dragon King, why didn't he transform into a more handsome person? Instead, he's made a big-bellied guy who looks like a corrupt official!" Ge Xiaoyao cursed inwardly.

Ge Xiaoyao was still frightened by the erotic scene he had just witnessed, and dared not look directly at it again. He moved his gaze little by little to allow himself time to adjust, lest his tense nerves snap.

However, as he slowly looked over, he saw the Dragon King's foolishness and almost burst out laughing. He thought to himself, "Dragon King, you claim to cultivate your body, yet you don't know how humans perform such pleasurable acts? I wonder if those two princesses and the dragon prince are even yours!"

Having prepared himself mentally, Ge Xiaoyao wasn't as excited or shocked when he looked at the Dragon Consort. After a while, he realized that she was just a pretentious fool, her poses alluring but limited to the same one, like a lifeless stone statue.

As Ge Xiaoyao looked around, he noticed a colorful picture next to them—a pornographic image. He immediately understood. "So that's what Princess Qiqi was doing, staying in the room for days! They were researching this!" He chuckled inwardly, a mischievous urge stirring within him. He thought, "Why not grant them their wish and teach them?"

Ge Xiaoyao pondered for a moment. Seeing the Dragon King sweating profusely and panting heavily, while the Dragon Queen remained unsatisfied and filled with lust, he approached directly and whispered in the Dragon King's ear, who was unsure how to proceed, "Dragon King, come out for a moment. This celestial being has something to discuss with you!"

"Ah!" The Dragon King trembled in fright, his already flushed face turning even redder. As the lord of the Wei River, although he had cultivated his physical body long ago, he had only recently experienced matters of love between men and women in the mortal realm. Because matters of love between men and women were highly private in the court, he, as a legitimate river god, naturally did not have many channels to know these inside stories.

The erotic picture book was recently purchased for a mere penny at a small bookstall in Jizhou during a chance encounter. The stall owner, of course, initially assumed the chubby-bellied man was lecherous and thus whispered enthusiastically, "Boss, I have some newly arrived erotic pictures here! Want one? Guaranteed to be exciting! Three coins a piece, cheap, no bargaining!"

The Dragon King, having transformed into human form, had limited time and a rare opportunity. Upon first hearing the words "erotic picture book," he was puzzled and immediately asked, "What is an erotic picture book?" His voice wasn't loud, but... This attracted the attention of those nearby. An old woman muttered disdainfully, "At such an old age, and looking like a respectable person, why ask about this?"

The Dragon King couldn't remember if he blushed or not, but the stall owner immediately lowered his voice and said, "Boss, sir, please don't speak loudly. It would be troublesome if the officials found out!"

The Dragon King also lowered his voice like the stall owner and asked, "What is an erotic picture?"

The stall owner was taken aback, looking at the Dragon King as if he were a fool, before slowly taking out a colorful picture painted on plain silk from his bosom and pointing it out to the Dragon King.

The Dragon King was immediately captivated, for the mortal woman in the picture was absolutely stunning, her jade legs spread wide, her face displaying a charming expression that seemed to be a mixture of joy and anger, pain and numbness, which firmly drew his gaze. However, there was also a man in the picture, but only his back was visible, lying on top of the woman, his muscles taut as if exerting force, though it was unclear how he was doing it.

"Hmm... this is an erotic painting. The woman is quite beautiful, so why is there a man depicted in it?" the Dragon King asked, puzzled.

"Heavens... may lightning strike me dead!" the stall owner stammered, thinking, "What bad luck I've had today, running into such a big idiot!" But seeing the Dragon King's earnest, condescending gaze, he sighed and thought for a moment before explaining, "Hmm... because it's more fun that way. Why don't you take it home and try it yourself?"

The Dragon King smiled. Although he hadn't tried it, judging from the woman's expression in the painting, it must be quite beautiful. He immediately pulled out a piece of gold, humbly handing it to the stall owner, chuckling, "I don't have any coins on me. Is this enough?" Although he, the Dragon King of the Wei River, wasn't as wealthy as the Dragon Kings of the Four Seas, the river was full of gold deposits; a small piece of gold was far easier for him than copper coins!

The stall owner then realized he'd been acting like a complete fool. "Am I dreaming?" he thought. He put the gold in his mouth and bit it hard, then checked to make sure it was real before finally relaxing. He thought to himself, "I'm rich!" He chuckled and nodded, "That's enough, that's enough!" He carefully folded the picture and handed it to the Dragon King, adding, "Take this home. Only you and your wife can see it. Never show it to anyone else, and hide it well. Otherwise, if you get caught by the authorities and fined, don't let them implicate me!" Although the Dragon

King was puzzled by this, he trusted the stall owner's words and nodded hastily, "Definitely, definitely!"

Meanwhile, the stall owner, having given up business for the day, happily took the gold home, planning to buy a roast chicken and a couple of ounces of liquor, intending to use the wine to his advantage and... well,

you know... with his wife that night. The Dragon King, having obtained the erotic picture, was also captivated by the woman in it, losing all interest in shopping. He found a secluded spot, transformed into his dragon form, and returned to the Dragon Palace on auspicious clouds.

Back in the Dragon Palace, the lustful Dragon King, following the stall owner's instructions, didn't mention to anyone that he had bought the erotic picture. He first calmly convened a meeting in the Dragon Palace, announcing that he and his Dragon Consort would be in seclusion for a few days, and that no one was allowed to disturb them. Then, he pulled the bewildered Dragon Consort into the inner chamber, preparing to begin his erotic performance.

It is said that dragons are inherently lewd. The Dragon Queen was exceptionally beautiful and dignified, and having given birth to a dragon prince, she was particularly interested in the erotic paintings. However, the two of them first studied the pictures, then worked on the movements, and it took them two days to finally get a feel for it. They had managed to arouse the Dragon Queen to a fever pitch, while the Dragon King was tormented, restless and anxious.

Little did they know, their every move was being observed by Ge Xiaoyao, an absolute outsider to the Dragon Palace.

Just as the Dragon King was getting excited, he suddenly heard the words "Heavenly God" beside him. He was instantly terrified, trembling as if electrocuted. Remembering the stall owner's warning about being fined if discovered by the authorities, his fear intensified, and he nearly collapsed to the ground. He wasn't afraid of the authorities, but he was terrified of the Heavenly God!

The Dragon King was terrified, but the Dragon Queen, oblivious to his predicament, continued to say in a half-coquettish, half-flirtatious tone, "You useless thing, come here quickly..."

"Heh, she's quite anxious! But she's right, what a useless Dragon King!" Ge Xiaoyao chuckled inwardly as he saw the Dragon King fall for his trap, then solemnly addressed the terrified Dragon King, "Dragon King, quickly come to the city of Xiqi on the Wei River and await my decree!"

Upon hearing this, the Dragon King of the Wei River secretly breathed a sigh of relief. He had thought the Heavenly God had witnessed his and his Dragon Consort's actions in the inner chamber. He immediately stood up and dressed, smilingly saying to his Dragon Consort, "Dragon Consort, please study this carefully again. The Heavenly God needs me for something; I'll be right back!"

The Dragon Consort was disheartened but replied with a helpless, coquettish tone, "Alright, but you must return quickly!"

Ge Xiaoyao chuckled inwardly. This Dragon King and Dragon Consort were quite amusing. He was tempted to tease the lecherous Dragon King again, so he said, "Dragon King of the Wei River, this Heavenly God has urgent business to attend to and cannot wait for you! How about this, you go and meet me at the Dragon Palace of the East Sea!"

Ge Xiaoyao knew that it would take at least half a day to travel from the Wei River to the East Sea and back. He chuckled to himself, "Dragon King, Dragon King, you should just run away. I'll make sure you're satisfied when you return!"

The Dragon King hurriedly replied, "Yes, yes!" He finished dressing and rushed out the door.

Seeing the Dragon Consort's stunning beauty and alluring eyes, Ge Xiaoyao thought to himself, "Teaching beauties and imperial concubines the arts of the bedroom is my specialty! However, I've never taught the Dragon King's Consort before. But this seems like a delightful thing to do!" At this

moment, the Dragon Consort got up and dressed. Ge Xiaoyao noticed that her clothes resembled those of the palace, a gauze dress covering her body, revealing her delicate and beautiful figure. "

If this Dragon Consort were in modern times, she would be considered an extremely open and alluring beauty!" However, what surprised Ge Xiaoyao was that the Dragon Consort wasn't even wearing an undergarment. She was half-lying, half-sitting on the bed, flipping through an erotic picture. Her full, white buttocks were faintly visible through the gauze dress, arousing his desire and causing his thoughts to rise rapidly, leading him to indulge in wicked fantasies.

Chapter 175 The God of Bliss (Part 1)

It is said that Ge Xiaoyao tricked the Dragon King into leaving, and then indulged in admiring the beautiful body of his Dragon Consort. Just then, something caught his attention. "Damn! Isn't this the exquisite stone I gave to Yan Qiang?! How did it get here?"

Ge Xiaoyao had obtained this exquisite stone by chance in the back garden of the Shang Dynasty's harem. It was translucent and smooth, with seven colors in the center, its texture and color resembling precious jade. Moreover, its shape resembled the graceful posture of a beautiful woman. Ge Xiaoyao treasured it greatly and later secretly gave it to Yan Qiang as a token. However, Yan Qiang was falsely accused of being a wicked witch from the Eastern Barbarians and was executed by King Zhou with extremely cruel torture. The exquisite stone disappeared without a trace.

Ge Xiaoyao searched carefully, but to no avail. Of course, it was Shen Gongbao who, to cover up the truth that Yan Qiang had been blown away by a black wind—whether celestial or demonic—secretly eliminated those in the know, creating an impenetrable cover. As a result, Ge Xiaoyao not only failed to find the whereabouts of the Linglong Stone, but also remained completely unaware of the strange occurrence of Yan Qiang being blown away without being tortured.

Ge Xiaoyao was secretly alarmed. Thinking of how strikingly similar the Dragon Consort was to Yan Qiang, a chill ran through him. "Could it be this Dragon Consort?"

"Damn it! No, no!" Ge Xiaoyao hurriedly shook his head. How could he bear to see his woman suffer such humiliation! Although Ge Xiaoyao taught Yan Qiang erotic arts within the Great Shang palace, his true intention was to save her from her suffering, so that the two could find a peaceful and serene place to live together.

However, Yan Qiang died suddenly, and he was powerless and unable to save her, his heart filled with immense guilt. At this moment, how could he possibly see Yan Qiang with other men, even the Dragon King who wasn't a man?

Ge Xiaoyao felt a wave of dizziness, his blood rushing to his head like a whirlwind. He almost couldn't resist rushing forward, pulling up the Dragon Consort who was sprawled on the dragon bed, displaying her beautiful buttocks and viewing erotic paintings, ordering her to put on her clothes, and taking her away from the Dragon Palace.

However, Ge Xiaoyao was no longer the impulsive gangster he was in modern times, nor was he the mortal physician who used lewd arts to seek wealth and power in the Shang Dynasty's harem. Since gaining immortal power, his mind had become much calmer, and his self-control had become much stronger. If it weren't for the scene before him stirring up his deeply etched past, he would never have been so blinded by lust.

A surge of immortal power rose from his dantian, and Ge Xiaoyao regained his composure. "Regardless of the truth, I should ask first!" Ge Xiaoyao thought to himself.

Ge Xiaoyao took two steps closer. The alluring body of the Dragon Consort, with its voluptuous breasts and shapely buttocks, seemed ordinary to him, failing to arouse even the slightest desire. Moreover, he tried his best not to look at the exquisite stone with the red string attached to it in front of the bed, and coldly asked, "Dragon Consort, where did you get this exquisite stone?"

The Dragon Consort, who was completely absorbed in the erotic painting, suddenly heard the voice of a strange man. Her whole body trembled convulsively. She looked up sharply, only to see, as if seeing a ghost, the exquisite stone floating lightly, hanging in mid-air above her head.

"Ah!" she screamed in fright, quickly shrinking to the headboard, covering her head with the brocade quilt, her whole body trembling.

"Damn! I didn't expect this Dragon Consort to be so much more timid than the Dragon King. There's the story of Lord Ye who loved dragons but was scared to death by them. It turns out even dragons have moments of fear!" Ge Xiaoyao thought to himself. Luckily, he had just used his dragon immortal power to shield the room, so no one outside could hear the sounds coming from inside. Ignoring the Dragon Consort's fear, he coldly continued, "Speak quickly, where did this exquisite stone come from!"

With a flick of his finger, a surge of dragon immortal power naturally emanated, removing the brocade quilt that the Dragon Consort was tightly clutching over her head, revealing her beautiful figure to Ge Xiaoyao.

The quilt was pulled away, and the Dragon Consort cried out in alarm, her tear-streaked face filled with terror. She looked around but saw nothing, her whole body trembling like a leaf. Instead of answering Ge Xiaoyao's question, she asked herself, "Who are you?"

Ge Xiaoyao sneered, "Never mind who I am. I'm asking you, where did this exquisite stone come from?"

"Ah!" The Dragon Consort trembled violently again, hurriedly waving her hands and saying, "No... it's not mine!"

Seeing her so frightened, her only garment, a pink veil, disheveled from her earlier struggles, revealing her chest and legs in full view, yet she made no attempt to cover herself, Ge Xiaoyao thought, "It seems this Dragon Consort is definitely not Yan Qiang. Even if she could recognize her own voice, a real woman wouldn't reveal her body out of fear!" He felt a sense of relief, but still persisted, "I didn't ask if this was..." "Whose is this? I'm asking where this exquisite stone came from!"

The Dragon Consort seemed to sense a softening in Ge Xiaoyao's tone, no longer as cold and stern as before. Her mind began to calm down; she first lowered her head in silence, then suddenly sprang up and rushed out, shouting, "Guards!"

Ge Xiaoyao smiled coldly. He wasn't angry at the Dragon Consort's escape; instead, he admired her courage. With her movement, he flicked his fingers, releasing a surge of dragon immortal power that pulled her back onto the bed.

"Your Highness, there's no need to waste your energy. You can't escape. Besides, this inner room has been sealed off by my array. The shrimp soldiers and crab generals outside can't hear or see anything we say or do!"

The Dragon Consort sat on the bed in disbelief, finally beginning to believe Ge Xiaoyao's words. Because, with her loud shouts, the guards outside should have rushed in, but no one had come to her rescue!

"Who are you? What are you doing here?" This time, the Dragon Consort calmed down and asked.

Ge Xiaoyao now admired the Dragon Consort's courage. With no sign of the enemy, only their voices, and her movements constantly restricted, even he would have been momentarily panicked. An ordinary person would have been terrified, but the Dragon Consort still managed to ask questions.

Ge Xiaoyao felt a surge of goodwill towards her, and his previously cold tone softened: "Dragon Consort, don't be afraid. As long as you tell me how you obtained this Longling Stone, I won't do anything. However, if you don't answer or lie, then I'm capable of anything!"

Ge Xiaoyao smiled slightly, raising a finger, and his Dragon Immortal Power silently and invisibly emanated, swirling around the Dragon Consort's delicate body.

The Dragon Consort felt a tingling, burning heat coursing through her legs, chest, arms, and face, like a man's hot breath, bringing an indescribable pleasure. However, she immediately realized she was exposed, her face flushing crimson as she quickly wrapped herself in the quilt.

"Alright! I'll tell you..." the Dragon Consort hesitated, now understanding what this invisible enemy wanted. But it wasn't a secret to her, as everyone in the Dragon Palace knew the origin of the exquisite stone.

"This exquisite stone was in my eldest daughter's mouth at birth! We've always considered it a sacred object, originally worn around her neck..." the Dragon Consort said slowly.

Ge Xiaoyao frowned, abruptly interrupting the Dragon Consort, asking, "How old is your daughter?"

"Five!" the Dragon Consort blurted out, startled.

"Damn! How could this be?!" Ge Xiaoyao wondered inwardly, then asked, "How old is your younger daughter?"

"Two!" the Dragon Consort replied, now completely bewildered, wondering what this man was up to.

Ge Xiaoyao thought for a moment, then said, "Continue! Tell me in more detail!"

The Dragon Consort then said, "It wasn't until we sent her to Cangmang Mountain to study for a year that she entrusted this divine stone to me for safekeeping, saying that she could find her destined person based on this divine stone!"

"Destined person?" Ge Xiaoyao repeated the sentence, but a murderous intent flashed through his heart. "Damn! A five-year-old girl looking for her destined person? Who are you trying to fool!"

The Dragon Consort trembled in fright, so intimidated by the murderous intent in Ge Xiaoyao's words that she could hardly speak. She trembled and said, "The Dragon Girl is considered an adult at three years old. I sent her to Cangmang Mountain to study for two years, and she is now exactly five years old. It's time for her to get married!"

Ge Xiaoyao frowned. "Is the Dragon Girl so precocious?" He suddenly thought of Qi Qi, the Dragon King's second princess. He thought she was only about fourteen or fifteen years old. The Dragon Consort just said he was two years old, and it seemed to be without any flaws, so he believed her. He immediately said, "Hmm, that's good! Everything's alright now. Tell me where Cangmang Mountain is?"

At this moment, the Dragon Consort's face showed surprise. After a moment's hesitation, she said, "This…," she couldn't see Ge Xiaoyao and didn't know what to call him. She thought for a moment before saying, "Since you recognize this divine stone, you must be my daughter's destined one, right?"

Ge Xiaoyao was taken aback. He truly hadn't expected the Dragon Consort to ask such a question. After thinking for a moment, he said, "Whether we're destined

or not is not your concern. Just tell me the location of Cangmang Mountain, and I'll go find her myself!" The Dragon Consort, however, had already made up her mind. Although she didn't know if Ge Xiaoyao's intentions were malicious or benevolent, if it was benevolent, it would naturally be a joyous occasion for the Dragon Palace. If it was malicious, she absolutely couldn't let him go to Cangmang Mountain. Actually, it wasn't that Cangmang Mountain was inaccessible, but rather that her eldest daughter had sent a message yesterday saying that she was returning with her brother and should arrive the day after tomorrow. If this mysterious expert went to Cangmang Mountain with malicious intent, he might encounter his daughter on the way, at which point his daughter and son would be no match for him.

"Expert, no need," said the Dragon Consort. "My eldest daughter will return the day after tomorrow! You can see her then!" "Since you are destined to meet my daughter, why not show yourself? Although my Weishui Dragon Palace is poor, I will certainly spare no effort to receive distinguished guests!" The Dragon Consort thought that regardless of his intentions, she should first appease him with good intentions and wait for the powerful Dragon King to return before making a decision.

Ge Xiaoyao was well aware of her little scheme, but upon hearing that the eldest dragon girl was returning, he also made a plan. Since he didn't know where Cangmang Mountain was, it would probably take two or three days to find it, and if he missed her, finding the Weishui Dragon Palace's protective barrier to get to this dragon palace would require even more effort. "Inviting a god is not as good as waiting for a god!" Ge Xiaoyao had made up his mind and decided to stay in the dragon palace.

However, Ge Xiaoyao would never believe the Dragon Consort's one-sided story. If she was bluffing, wouldn't he be at a disadvantage if he showed himself? Thinking of this, he coldly smiled and said, "Thank you, Your Highness, but I'll take my leave now! However, if you mention today's events to anyone, I will know. Don't blame me for being ruthless!"

The Dragon Consort's face paled. She believed Ge Xiaoyao's words without a doubt and quickly nodded, "Don't worry, I will definitely not tell anyone!"

Ge Xiaoyao, however, was secretly calculating how long he could stay in the Dragon Palace. He couldn't just wander around in hiding forever! Moreover, there was the mischievous Princess Qi Qi there who could see him. Who knew if she wouldn't expose him! If that happened, wouldn't he be in big trouble? His gaze fell back on the erotic painting, and he suddenly thought of the Dragon King he had tricked.

"Hehe, I'm such a genius! How did I come up with such a reason so easily?... Yes, I'll be a celestial being wandering the Dragon Palace! This is the perfect reason for me to stay here!" Ge Xiaoyao secretly cheered for his plan to trick the Dragon King.

He silently calculated the time, thinking that the Dragon King should be at the gates of Xiqi City by now, and he should act immediately!

Chapter 176 Celestial Being (Part 2)

Ge Xiaoyao ignored the Dragon Consort who was sitting there dumbfounded, and stealthily made his way out of the Dragon Palace and out of the Dragon Palace barrier, heading towards Xiqi City.

What puzzled Ge Xiaoyao was that it was difficult to enter the Dragon Palace barrier, but very easy to leave, because outside was an endless expanse of turbid and surging river, and apart from the obvious whirlpools where the upper part was muddy and the lower part was clear, there was no way to find the entrance to the barrier. But inside the Dragon Palace, it was very easy to find. Just follow the directions on the stone tablet in the square outside the Dragon Palace, and you can easily find the exit.

The stone tablet clearly indicated the location of the palace's exit barrier that day, marked very precisely. It seemed to be a deliberate marking by the person in charge, for the purpose of seeing off guests or for the palace's lowly soldiers and generals to patrol

outside the palace. This time, the exit of the barrier suited Ge Xiaoyao's taste perfectly, as it was located not far from the western city wall. Unlike the bewildering whirlpool he had encountered last time, it was a water gate resembling a protective barrier of immortal energy, guarded by two tall, robust dragon soldiers.

Ge Xiaoyao, of course, didn't need to disturb the two dragon soldiers; he simply rushed out of the barrier. The two guards only noticed a slight movement in the barrier gate and paid it no mind.

Ge Xiaoyao mentally calculated the time; he had only been in this Dragon Palace for a little over ten hours, and had only just emerged from the azure waters before impatiently summoning the White-Headed Divine Eagle. However, upon summoning him, he discovered that the White-Headed Eagle had already returned to Xiqi City. He couldn't help but wonder, "Why is the White-Headed Eagle disobeying orders this time? It has retreated on its own..."

But when he saw the white specks on the distant houses, he suddenly realized, "So that's how it is!"

Why?

Because time in the Dragon Palace is much longer than in the human world. One hour is roughly equivalent to one day in the human world. Because Ge Xiaoyao was protected by immortal power in the water, he did not feel the change in climate. Only when he came ashore and removed the immortal power protection did he suddenly realize that winter had arrived in the human world.

"Damn! Has more than a month already passed?" Ge Xiaoyao thought to himself, then remembered what the Dragon Consort had said about the Second Princess Qiqi being only three years old, already a little girl, while the Eldest Princess was only five, already of marriageable age. "No wonder... I really don't know how dragons calculate their ages!" Ge Xiaoyao thought for a moment, then said, "Whatever, it doesn't matter anyway, it's more important to take care of the important matters first!"

Fortunately, he wasn't far from Xiqi, and the Dragon King might already be at the city gates of Xiqi. He summoned the Dragon-Slaying Blade and rode it along the way.

This Dragon-Slaying Blade was an ancient treasure, containing the immortal power of the souls of hundreds of ancient dragon immortals. It was truly a top-grade magic weapon. With a little immortal power to activate it, its speed was no less than that of the White-Headed Divine Eagle. In just a short while, he could see the city gates of Xiqi that were being fortified.

The original gates of Xiqi were very narrow and dilapidated. Because the Marquis of Xibo ruled with benevolence and did not use weapons, the neighbors were also very friendly. Within the city, no one would pick up lost items on the road and doors were left unlocked at night. Therefore, the city gates and moats, which were meant to be protective, became mere decorations and were left unmanaged for a long time. Although they were in ruins, the Marquis of Xibo saved manpower and did not repair them.

This time was different. Ji Chang, the Marquis of Xibo, driven by vengeance, launched a campaign against King Zhou, his army marching directly towards Chaoge. King Zhou, in turn, dispatched a large army to retaliate. A fierce battle was imminent, with

the city at the gates. Even though he valued the people's strength, he dared not be negligent. Therefore, he widened and deepened the moat, thickened and raised the city walls and gates, and installed numerous defensive structures including rockets, rolling logs, and radium stones. "Hehe, the city gates are indeed much more impressive now, that's more like it!" Ge Xiaoyao thought excitedly, secretly lamenting how stingy the Marquis of Xibo had been before.

Ge Xiaoyao looked around, checking where the Dragon King had gone. "Where did that old fellow go?"

He knew that where a dragon went, there would be rain. As the lord of a river, the Dragon King had come to greet him, a celestial being, and naturally wouldn't dare to be negligent. Although he had repeatedly emphasized that the Dragon King had come alone, he certainly wouldn't have sneaked away so easily.

Sure enough, as Ge Xiaoyao looked, he saw a patch of dark clouds with a brilliant golden edge to the east of the city. The clouds were filled with dragon energy, which must be the Dragon King of the Wei River.

Ge Xiaoyao chuckled, "So you're here! Since you ride the clouds, I naturally can't be as shabby as you!" He immediately sheathed his Dragon-Slaying Blade, conjured an auspicious cloud, and went forward to greet him. He transmitted his voice with his immortal power, "The Heavenly Court's Imperial Envoy, the God of Bliss, is here. Dragon King of the Wei River, come and receive him at once!" When

the Dragon King saw the auspicious cloud arrive, he immediately revealed his true form in the clouds in mid-air, "This little dragon of the Wei River greets the God of Bliss!"

In truth, the Dragon King was also of humble status, the kind of person who would burn incense at any Buddha statue. He didn't care whether Ge Xiaoyao was real or not, and bowed first.

"What a clever little dragon from the Wei River! He seems to be quite the simpleton!" Ge Xiaoyao chuckled inwardly, but said aloud, "This celestial being, ordered by the Heavenly Court, has come to inspect the duties of the dragon gods in the various realms of the Central Plains. I find the scenery of the Wei River exceptionally beautiful, and the people along its banks are at peace. This is undoubtedly the merit of you, the Wei River Dragon God!" Ge Xiaoyao, a former high-ranking official, knew that power struggles were commonplace in both the celestial and mortal realms. He didn't care about the details and simply launched into a grand and eloquent speech; praising him first was always a good idea.

The Wei River Dragon King, pleased with Ge Xiaoyao's praise, quickly replied, "It's all thanks to the Heavenly Court's protection. The Heavenly Official

has gone to great lengths; this humble dragon dares not claim credit!" Ge Xiaoyao nodded, but then frowned and said, "However, these past few days I've noticed the clouds along the Wei River are discordant, as if there's an omen of war. Have you noticed anything?" As the instigator of the Zhou-Shang war, was Ge Xiaoyao unaware that war was imminent here? This was just another attempt to bluff the Dragon King.

After purchasing the erotic paintings and returning to his palace, the Dragon King and his consort secluded themselves to cultivate their bedroom arts, completely unaware of the outside world. Only after being lured out of the palace by Ge Xiaoyao were they astonished by the drastic changes in Xiqi City. How could they possibly know the reason behind it all? He stammered, his face flushed, his heart pounding, and cold sweat beading on his forehead.

Ge Xiaoyao smiled coldly, "The Wei River is under your jurisdiction. How could you, the Water Dragon God, be unaware of such a major event? Do you know the crime of dereliction of duty?" Although his words weren't harsh, they carried a clear tone of accusation.

The Dragon King of the Wei River immediately broke out in a cold sweat and hurriedly said, "Yes, yes, this little dragon knows his crime and begs for the forgiveness of the gods. Please do not report this to the Heavenly Court!" You must know that since the ancient times, the Dragon Immortal Clan has been subjugated to the three realms of gods, Buddhas, and humans, and their status has become extremely low. Although they control the five lakes and four lakes and have great power, if they make a slight mistake, they will be punished by the Heavenly Court. At best, they will be stripped of their dragon throne and sent to the mortal world to be turned into horses and slaves. At worst, they will have their dragon tendons and bones stripped off and be banished to the dark and gloomy Nine Netherworlds to serve their sentences, never to be able to rise again.

As many may know, the third prince of Ao Run, the Dragon King of the West Sea, accidentally set fire to the pearl bestowed upon him by the Jade Emperor. This was originally a minor matter; any other deity would have been easily forgiven by the Heavenly Court (as many have seen in Journey to the West, Sha Wujing was also banished to the mortal realm for breaking a glass lamp; he was merely a guardian and had a duty to protect it, and he did not commit a capital offense). However, for a dragon, it was considered a capital offense against the Heavenly Laws. Fortunately, the compassionate Guanyin Bodhisattva of the South Sea intervened, sparing him from punishment. He was banished to Snake Coil Mountain to await Tang Sanzang's journey to the West to obtain Buddhist scriptures. Unfortunately, he ate Tang Sanzang's white horse, which was not among all horses he was meant to eat. He had to have his horns and scales sawed off, transforming into a white horse to serve Tang Sanzang on the journey, enduring hardships and toil. Upon the return of the pilgrimage, he was promoted by the Buddha to one of the Eight Heavenly Dragon Horses, essentially regaining his dragon form, thus atoneing for his sins.

Getting back to the point, because the Heavenly Court's punishments for the dragon race were extremely severe, the Wei River Dragon King was so frightened by Ge Xiaoyao's apparent intention to punish him that he immediately begged for mercy, no longer daring to question whether Ge Xiaoyao was a true god.

"Damn! I didn't expect this Dragon King to have such a small amount of courage. It's best not to frighten him any further!" Ge Xiaoyao had no intention of punishing him anyway, so he said, "Alright then, seeing that you investigated your dereliction of duty, sincerely repented, and prevented any disaster, let's leave this matter aside! Let me tell you! The Lord of Xiqi, Marquis Xibo Ji Chang, has raised the banner of righteousness to overthrow the tyrannical King Zhou of Shang, and King Zhou is about to send a large army to suppress him. Do you know what to do?"

The Dragon King wasn't a complete fool; otherwise, he wouldn't have been able to sit on the throne of the Wei River Dragon Palace for so long. How could he not understand the meaning behind Ge Xiaoyao's words? He repeatedly said, "Little Dragon understands... I will naturally lead my subordinates to help the Marquis of Xibo resist the tyrannical ruler's suppression and protect the people of Xiqi!" In fact, he himself had an excellent relationship with the Marquis of Xibo, and he naturally couldn't sit idly by when Xiqi was in trouble.

Ge Xiaoyao smiled with satisfaction and nodded, thinking that it was about time to get down to business. After a moment of contemplation, he said, "As the Imperial Envoy, the God of Bliss, I have a duty to supervise. I cannot leave here until the important matter is resolved. May I temporarily borrow your Wei River Dragon Palace to serve?"

The Dragon King's cold sweat finally subsided. He thought to himself, "This god wants to live in the Dragon Palace. This is a great thing. If I serve him well, not only can I cover up my crimes, but I can also claim credit even if I have no merit. A few good words from the Heavenly Court in the future, and what difficulty will it be for me to be promoted three ranks?" Naturally, the Dragon King readily agreed, "Although my humble palace on the Wei River is poor, I am fortunate that the Heavenly God does not find it offensive. This humble dragon will do everything in its power to serve the Heavenly God!"

Ge Xiaoyao smiled and said, "That is not necessary... I have come to overturn the mandate of Heaven, and it is not appropriate to make a big fuss. You only need to provide a quiet room, and nothing else should be publicized!"

The Dragon King hurriedly said, "How can that be?"

Ge Xiaoyao knew very well that he was an imposter of the Heavenly God, and he dared not make a big fuss. Otherwise, if he were exposed, he would truly be violating the Heavenly Laws and die without a burial place! He then solemnly and sternly said, "The matter of this Heavenly God's presence at the Wei River Dragon Palace must not be spread, otherwise it will affect this Heavenly God's secret visit to his divine duties! You must remember this!"

The Dragon King hurriedly nodded and said, "This humble dragon remembers, it must not be publicized, it must not be publicized..." In reality, he was a narrow-minded person and did not want to make a fuss, because if other dragon palaces knew that the Heavenly God had come to visit, they would all fabricate stories and create a peaceful scene, wouldn't his merits be greatly diminished?

Ge Xiaoyao saw through his thoughts and knew he wouldn't tell anyone about such good news. He was quite pleased with his lie, but a casual glance down startled him. He immediately said, "In that case, let's hurry back to the Dragon Palace, otherwise it wouldn't be good to disturb the people of Xiqi!"

The Dragon King looked down at the mortal realm. It turned out that the two auspicious clouds they had created over Xiqi City had already alarmed the people. News reached the Marquis of Xibo, and Ji Chang, knowing it was the Dragon King's arrival, immediately led his officials out of the city to welcome him. The Dragon God's manifestation was a very auspicious sign, and Xiqi City was naturally filled with jubilation, with countless offerings laid out along the way. Only Jiang Ziya found the auspicious cloud very familiar. After a moment's thought, he realized it was Ge Xiaoyao, and his brow furrowed, filled with anxiety!

The Dragon King hurriedly replied, "Alright! Alright! I will obey the Heavenly God's command!"

Ge Xiaoyao traveled with the Dragon King towards the Wei River, while secretly transmitting his voice to Jiang Ziya over a thousand miles: "I am going to visit the Dragon Palace of the Wei River and will return soon. Brother, you don't need to worry!"

Chapter 177 The Heavenly God of Bliss (Part 2)

Jiang Ziya was speechless upon hearing the news. He hadn't expected Ge Xiaoyao to be so capable, associating with the Dragon King of the Wei River. Although he was worried that Ge Xiaoyao's cultivation was too shallow and that he might cause some trouble, the Shang army that was currently attacking was only a hundred miles away from the city. With the army pressing in, he, as the commander-in-chief, really couldn't spare the attention to deal with Ge Xiaoyao's affairs. Moreover, he knew that Ge Xiaoyao had just recovered from serious injuries and had gained the cultivation of a Dragon Immortal. Now was the time for him to make friends with immortals and travel around for training, so he had no choice but to go with him.

Meanwhile, Ge Xiaoyao returned to the Dragon Palace with the Dragon King. Following Ge Xiaoyao's instructions, the Dragon King did not disturb the officials, simply stating that a distant friend was staying for a short while. He merely cleared out a quiet, elegant room within the inner palace, assigned several beautiful shrimp maids to serve him, and that was it. However, he secretly sent the Dragon Palace's rare treasures to Ge Xiaoyao's room, personally overseeing every detail of his daily meals to ensure Ge Xiaoyao's satisfaction.

Ge Xiaoyao's elegant room was not far from Princess Qiqi's boudoir. Upon their return, Ge Xiaoyao and the Dragon King encountered the Second Princess, who had just woken up.

"Oh dear…it's so cold! Father, who is this?" Qiqi could see through things and had seen Ge Xiaoyao's face before. Seeing him now, she was astonished. She was about to call him "Heavenly God Brother" when Ge Xiaoyao stopped her with a look, so she uttered a few incoherent words instead.

The Dragon King adored his youngest daughter, chuckling, "Qi'er, come and greet your uncle! This is my close friend!" He then introduced her to Ge Xiaoyao, "This is my youngest daughter, Qi Qi, quite mischievous!"

Ge Xiaoyao smiled slightly and said, "Princess, with your bright eyes and white teeth, you are clever and quick-witted; it must be thanks to your excellent upbringing, Brother Dragon!" He then winked at Qi Qi.

Qi Qi chuckled, "Thank you for the compliment, Uncle!"

The Dragon King added, "Your uncle and I have some matters to discuss; you should go play elsewhere!"

Although Qi Qi was clever and mischievous, she was also polite. She winked at Ge Xiaoyao, lowered her head, and slowly walked away.

"She really does act like a lady!" Ge Xiaoyao thought to himself, recalling her playful nature when they first met, as he watched Qi Qi walk.

After Qi Qi left, the Dragon King and Ge Xiaoyao entered the elegant residence and sat down, one above the other. The Dragon King considered Ge Xiaoyao a celestial being, though he didn't explicitly say so in public, he dared not sit on equal footing in private, choosing the lower seat. Immediately, a beautiful shrimp maidservant served fragrant tea from the seabed.

Ge Xiaoyao's true intention was to impersonate a celestial being, but he actually wanted to stay in the Dragon Palace for a while, waiting for the Dragon King's eldest princess to return, so he could truly investigate the origin of the exquisite stone. After all, Yan Qiang remained an unresolved issue in his heart.

After exchanging a few pleasantries, the Dragon King took out two jade boxes from his robes and placed them on the table, saying, "The Wei River is poor, and even the Heavenly God has nothing to offer. I searched the palace treasury and only found these two pearls that are somewhat acceptable. Please accept this humble gift, Heavenly God of Bliss!"

"This Dragon King is quite well-mannered; he knows that when a Heavenly Official visits, a gift must be received first!" Ge Xiaoyao thought to himself, but quickly declined, saying, "Brother Dragon, there's no need to be so polite. I'm also on official business and had no choice but to disturb you. I already feel guilty, how could I dare accept any more gifts!"

Seeing the Dragon King's insistence, Ge Xiaoyao thought it would be petty not to accept, so he simply accepted. Then, wanting to return the favor, he suddenly remembered what the Dragon King and his consort had done in the inner palace, so he took out a jade bottle from his personal pouch and handed it to the Dragon King.

The Dragon King was astonished and quickly bowed, asking, "Heavenly God, what is this?"

Ge Xiaoyao smiled slightly and said, "There's no one else here, so I don't need to hold back. These are some pills I made myself, with health-strengthening effects. Naturally, they can't compare to your pearl, Brother Dragon, but they're just a small token to express my gratitude for your hospitality!"

The Dragon King was overjoyed and quickly thanked him. He had been indulging in lewd activities these past few days, and his body had become depleted. He had been looking for some medicine to replenish it. Seeing that it was a gift from Ge Xiaoyao, he assumed it must be a divine medicine and accepted it with a smile.

Ge Xiaoyao wanted to see the Dragon King's eldest daughter but didn't want to ask directly, so he casually asked, "How many children does Brother Dragon have?"

The Dragon King chuckled and said, "Only one son and two daughters, both of whom are good-for-nothings!"

"Oh?" Ge Xiaoyao knew the Dragon King was being modest, and immediately asked, "Where do they reside now?"

The Dragon King replied, "They don't really reside in any immortal abode. My son and eldest daughter are currently studying arts in Cangmang Mountain, but they are naturally dull-witted and have achieved nothing. The youngest daughter I just saw is causing trouble all day in this palace, which is quite a headache!"

Ge Xiaoyao said, "That's not necessarily true. I just saw Princess Qiqi, who was so clever and intelligent. I imagine the Crown Prince and the eldest princess must also be outstanding talents!"

The Dragon King then said, "Not at all, not at all. Brother, you hold an important position in the Heavenly Court at such a young age; you are truly a talent of the world!"

Ge Xiaoyao knew that if he continued, the Dragon King would probably ask about his origins. Although he was quite eloquent, he spoke... Too much of a good thing can lead to a bad outcome, and he feared that if the other man saw through his disguise

, he would suffer a greater loss. So he smiled slightly and changed the subject: "I wonder where my sister-in-law is now? As her brother, it is only right that I pay her a visit!" The Dragon King blushed, then remembered the time when Ge Xiaoyao had stopped him in the inner palace while he was in a state of excitement. He said, "My lady is ugly , I dare not let her offend the eyes of the gods!"

The Dragon King's relationship with Ge Xiaoyao was not very close. The few words of brotherhood he had just exchanged were just to get closer to him. Now, however, he dared not let Ge Xiaoyao see the Dragon Consort. It was not because the Dragon Consort was ugly, but because the Heavenly Court was in great chaos. There were many lustful people among the gods who, upon seeing the beauty of the Dragon Consort and the Dragon Princess, would covet her. Therefore, he had to be on guard.

Ge Xiaoyao had no idea what the Dragon King was thinking. He thought to himself, "He clearly doesn't want me to see him. How could a dragon consort who looks like Yan Qiang be ugly?" He laughed and said, "I was being presumptuous, brother, please don't take offense!"

The Dragon King smiled and said, "I'm ashamed, I'm ashamed!" But in his heart, he secretly pondered, "Could this God of Bliss also be a lecher? It seems I'll have to use a beauty trap to win him over tonight." Actually, it didn't matter; his palace was full of beautiful fish maids and

shrimp servants, which Ge Xiaoyao could choose from at will. Ge Xiaoyao, unaware of the Dragon King's intentions, didn't take it to heart. He chatted with the Dragon King for a few more minutes, and then a shrimp servant announced that the imperial meal was ready.

The Dragon King was delighted and said, "I've prepared a simple feast for you, brother! Please…"

Ge Xiaoyao readily agreed and followed the Dragon King.

The banquet at the Dragon Palace was lavishly prepared. The Dragon King of the Wei River had gone to great lengths to curry favor with Ge Xiaoyao, the God of Bliss. Ge Xiaoyao, without any hesitation, indulged in the feast. Only at the end did he secretly tell the Dragon King, "The pill I gave you, Brother Dragon, can be taken after the banquet. Wait half an hour before going to sleep!"

The Dragon King trusted Ge Xiaoyao completely and nodded repeatedly in agreement.

The night passed uneventfully, and both the Dragon King and Ge Xiaoyao rested. However, the next morning, the Dragon King anxiously sought out Ge Xiaoyao, whispering to him what kind of elixir possessed such miraculous power.

It turned out that the Dragon King, slightly drunk after taking Ge Xiaoyao's Bliss Pill that night, returned to the inner palace and found his Dragon Consort, having bathed, lying half-naked on the bed wearing only a light gauze garment, looking at an erotic painting.

The most alluring moment is when a beauty is half-asleep, half-awake, and the Dragon King, seeing her delicate state, felt his desire ignite rapidly.

"Your Majesty is back! Hmm… please rest!" The Dragon Queen's eyes were filled with a seductive allure, her voice alluring and seductive.

Although the Dragon King was impatient, he remembered Ge Xiaoyao's instruction to wait half an hour. He forced himself to suppress his desire, undressed, and went to bed, saying, "Today I encountered a celestial being!"

The Dragon Queen was taken aback. "What celestial being?"

"The Celestial Being of Bliss, an imperial envoy dispatched by the Heavenly Court, resides in our Wei River Palace!" the Dragon King said.

A hint of doubt flashed through the Dragon Queen's mind. After the Dragon King left, she had also heard that unseen voice, and the celestial being seemed to favor her eldest daughter. She wondered why. But after thinking it over, he felt a lingering fear of the mysterious man's potential threat, and lowered his voice, saying, "That

's wonderful! As long as we take good care of him... with the protection of the gods, our Wei River will naturally be even more secure!" The Dragon King nodded, delighted, and said, "Of course! Today I presented him with two pearls as a gift, and he was very pleased, but in return, he gave me a bottle of divine medicine!"

The Dragon Queen's eyes lit up, and she said sweetly, "Really? That's truly a cause for celebration!"

The Dragon King added, "He instructed me to take it after the banquet and wait half an hour before resting, presumably until the medicine's effects take hold!"

The Dragon Queen nodded, "How are you feeling?"

Half an hour had passed as they spoke. The Dragon King felt a warm, comfortable sensation in his limbs, and a surge of boundless energy within his lower body. He exclaimed, "Very comfortable! Truly a divine medicine from the Heavenly Court, unlike anything else!"

This Bliss Pill from Ge Xiaoyao was different from the original. It was a combination of the power of the ten-thousand-year-old ginseng king he encountered at Hundred Herbs Mountain and the aphrodisiac dragon liquid, making it extremely nourishing and fast-acting.

The Dragon King took one pill, and soon the effects were felt. The medicine ignited his lust. The Dragon Consort he saw seemed even more alluring than the beauties depicted in the erotic paintings. His heart itch with desire, and his large hands slid towards the Dragon Consort's undergarments.

"Hmm..." Actually, the Dragon Consort had already been aroused by the Dragon King, but Ge Xiaoyao's actions had dampened her interest. Now that the Dragon King had returned and she was relieved, her desire returned. She imitated the posture and gaze of the beauties in the paintings, seducing the Dragon King.

The Dragon King, captivated by the sight of his Dragon Consort, saw her as a beautiful woman brought to life from a painting. He could no longer restrain himself. He immediately pounced on her, pinning her beneath him, and began to caress her with his mouth and hands.

"Ah..." The Dragon Consort, driven to near frenzy by the Dragon King's ministrations, felt an indescribable tingling pleasure coursing through her body. Occasionally, when his sensitive spots were touched, she couldn't help but let out soft, suppressed moans.

Their lovemaking continued for a long time. The Dragon Consort's body flushed a delicate pink, her cheeks blushing, a strand of hair slightly damp on her forehead, and she panted heavily. The only garment she wore, a light veil, had been completely removed during their lovemaking, lying disheveled beneath her. Amidst her moans of incontinence, the entire inner chamber was filled with the scent of spring...

The Dragon King was overjoyed, thinking that the Heavenly Medicine was truly extraordinary; this time, he had lasted much longer than before, and the pleasure had increased tenfold.

Therefore, early the next morning, he rushed over to thank Ge Xiaoyao!

Ge Xiaoyao smiled slightly: "That's just medicine I made myself, nothing special, not even a divine medicine from the Heavenly Court!"

The Dragon King, however, didn't think so. He thought for a moment and said, "Brother, I have a request! I hope you won't refuse!"

"Please speak, Brother Dragon!" Ge Xiaoyao thought for a moment, figuring the Dragon King probably wouldn't make any unreasonable demands, and then said.

The Dragon King then said, "Although the Wei River is small, it's located on a dragon vein, containing many rare and precious herbs. I wonder if you would be so kind as to collect some and make more of this divine medicine to keep in my palace? I will reward you handsomely!"

"Damn! So he wants me to make medicine for him!" Ge Xiaoyao's eyes darted around, thinking to himself, "However, this is a good deal, only profit, no loss! Besides, since leaving the Shang Palace, he hasn't encountered any rare or precious herbs. He must find some for future needs!" He nodded in agreement, "This is a small matter, I will obey Brother Long's orders!"

The Dragon King was overjoyed and chuckled. He then took a jade token from his waist and handed it to Ge Xiaoyao: "This is my personal command token. Anyone who sees this token will see me! Brother, keep it safe. From now on, you can travel freely in the Wei River without anyone daring to stop you! Moreover, if needed, you can command the soldiers and servants of the Dragon Palace at your disposal!"

Ge Xiaoyao was delighted, thinking to himself, "This is a good thing. At least it's much better than me hiding everywhere like a shadow, sneaking around. It will also avoid some trouble!" He took the jade token, carefully hung it on his waist, and thanked the Dragon King!
