The Amorous Healer [Complete] - 25

Chapter 282 The Rise of the Dragon Immortal (Part 2)

The banquet was extremely lavish.

This was a welcoming banquet for the Third Prince of the Dragon Emperor and his consort, and also a swearing-in banquet for the Dragon Immortals' return to the martial world. Therefore, Long Xiaotian and the Black-Faced Dragon Immortal spared no expense in bringing out the most precious treasures of the Dragon Immortal True Mansion.

Jade wine, rare mountain and water treasures, all things rarely seen in the world. As the Third Prince of the Dragon Emperor, Ge Xiaoyao naturally did not need to be polite, and that night he drank heartily until he was drunk.

Nothing happened that night, and Ge Xiaoyao released his long-suppressed desires after a night of passion with Long Tianxin.

The next day, on the snow-capped peak of Kunlun, under a blue sky and white clouds, the thousands of acres of blue water of Dragon Immortal Lake rippled, and the clear water vapor covered people's faces, making them feel refreshed and full of praise.

"Third Prince! We're leaving!"

The hundred Dragon Immortals had been divided into ten groups, and each group bid farewell to Ge Xiaoyao, Long Tianxin, Long Xiaotian, and the Black-Faced Dragon Immortal.

Ge Xiaoyao had already given instructions regarding their journey to the mortal realm, and simply smiled as he saw them off.

"Dragon Lake rises with high waves, even the heavens laugh with heroic spirit; here, the azure waters surge, and all things on earth are transformed!" Long Xiaotian, watching the groups of dragon immortals ascend the clouds and gradually disappear into the distance, was filled with pride and recited aloud.

"Third Prince, Great Protector, this time when we dragon immortals descend to the mortal realm, we will surely stir up a huge wave. I think within a thousand years, the mortal realm will definitely belong to us dragon immortals!" the black-faced dragon immortal exclaimed excitedly.

Ge Xiaoyao smiled broadly and said, "Indeed, this can also be called the Dragon Soaring Across the Nine Provinces!" But in his heart, he thought, "Dragons… a thousand years later, they will be nothing more than legends and myths!"

"Brother Ge, when do we leave?" Long Tian asked inwardly.

Ge Xiaoyao remained silent, but Long Xiaotian said, "Brother Ge, Third Prince, this time the Dragon Immortals descend to the mortal realm will surely cause a huge upheaval. At that time, all the Dragon Immortals will need to follow the Third Prince's instructions when making contact! Therefore, if the Third Prince has no urgent matters, he can stay here on the Kunlun Snow Peak for the time being, and make further plans after all the Dragon Immortals have settled down!"

"Yes, Third Prince, although we Dragon Immortals have returned, it is not advisable to withdraw from the Dragon Immortal True Palace too early. If any Dragon Immortal suffers harm, we will have to return! I have just discussed with the Grand Elder that I will stay here, firstly to temporarily serve the Third Prince and the Crown Princess, and secondly to remain here permanently, so as to ensure that we Dragon Immortals have a secluded place to rest and recuperate in this world!" said the black-faced Dragon Immortal.

Ge Xiaoyao thought for a moment, then nodded and said, "That's exactly what I was thinking! Alright... I'll stay here with Tianxin, and after ten days, when the dragon immortals in the lower realm have settled in, we'll make further plans!"

Long Tianxin said, "In that case, shouldn't we pay a visit to Kunlun? After all, we're neighbors, it wouldn't be right not to say hello!"

Ge Xiaoyao smiled slightly and said, "No need for that. The arrival of a hundred dragon immortals in the lower realm has surely already alerted the Kunlun Immortal Sect. Let's go back and hold a banquet, and patiently await the arrival of our distinguished guests!"

Just then, two streaks of cold light appeared in the distance between the clouds.

The cold light arrived as swiftly as shooting stars, and upon approaching, they were revealed to be two middle-aged men dressed in Daoist robes, each wielding a cold, gleaming sword. It was clear without even looking that they were members of the Kunlun Immortal Dao.

Ge Xiaoyao smiled slightly and said, "Look... here they come!"

In the blink of an eye, the two men arrived at Dragon Immortal Lake, standing on the water, their bodies radiating a faint purple aura, exuding an air of otherworldly elegance. One of them had a slightly dark complexion, sword-like eyebrows, and bright eyes. His robes fluttered, but one sleeve hung low, suggesting he was one-armed. Upon seeing Ge Xiaoyao, he was slightly surprised, then laughed, "I wondered who was on the Kunlun Snow Peak! It's Brother Ge! Brother Ge, why didn't you announce your arrival in Kunlun? The Kunlun Immortal Path could have sent someone to welcome you!"

Ge Xiaoyao cupped his hands and smiled, "Senior Brother Yu Heng, it's been four months since we last met, and your cultivation has improved even more! I was longing for the beautiful scenery of Dragon Immortal Lake and didn't want to disturb the tranquility of Kunlun, so I didn't come to visit."

Yu Heng glanced at Long Tianxin, Long Xiaotian, and the Black-Faced Dragon Immortal, and smiled slightly, "In that case, we won't disturb your enjoyment any longer. If you have time, you can come to the mountain gate for a chat."

He then said to the man who had come with him, "Junior Brother, let's go back!"

The man nodded, and the two bid farewell and left, quickly descending from the Kunlun Snow Peak.

"Brother Ge, do you really know the people of the Kunlun Immortal Path?" Long Tianxin asked.

Seeing the surprised expressions on the faces of the three, Ge Xiaoyao smiled and said, "Of course!"

The black-faced Dragon Immortal also smiled and said, "Brother Ge and Kunlun are of the same path. We Dragon Immortals have always kept to ourselves and Kunlun. I hope these Kunlun disciples will not spread the news of the Dragon Immortal's birth!"

Ge Xiaoyao said, "Don't worry, since the Kunlun Immortals are sitting idly by while the Dragon Immortal resides on the Kunlun Snow Peak, they will never do anything to harm the Dragon Immortal!" Long Xiaotian

nodded and said, "Third Prince, Crown Princess, things here are settled. I must also find a place to descend to the mortal realm! Take care!"

Ge Xiaoyao said, "Protector Senior, take care! After descending to the mortal realm, please remember to contact us!"

Long Xiaotian nodded and smiled, then leaped up and transformed into a phantom dragon in mid-air, roaring as he flew away.

Ge Xiaoyao, Long Tianxin, and the Black-Faced Dragon Immortal returned to the Dragon Immortal True Mansion at the bottom of Dragon Immortal Lake. The vast mansion was now completely empty; with the departure of the hundred Dragon Immortals, it felt much quieter.

The Black-Faced Dragon Immortal sighed softly and chuckled, "It seems it won't be long before I'm alone here again!"

Ge Xiaoyao observed that the Dragon Immortal True Mansion was a hidden paradise, with first-rate scenery and architecture. Moreover, the Kunyu Main Hall of the Kunlun Immortal Path was located at the foot of the mountain, effectively adding an extra layer of protection to the mansion. Ordinary minor demons and monsters would certainly not dare to cause trouble.

"Perhaps it would be good to make this Dragon Immortal True Mansion my base!" he thought to himself.

After touring the mansion, the Black-Faced Dragon Immortal said, "Third Prince, Crown Princess… I'll go check the storerooms and prepare some necessities!" He then took his leave.

Ge Xiaoyao and Long Tianxin toured the Dragon Immortal True Mansion, marveling at the immense power of the Dragon Immortals.

The entire bottom of Dragon Immortal Lake had been hollowed out and sealed off with magical magic. Inside the Dragon Immortal True Mansion, two enormous palaces were built of bluestone, with flying eaves, brackets, and golden dragon reliefs, exuding a magnificent aura.

Because there was a natural abyss at the bottom of Dragon Immortal Lake, a long bridge was built between the two palaces with huge stones as beams. The top of the bridge extended into Dragon Immortal Lake, but only a few magical magic restrictions were placed there. The water of Dragon Immortal Lake poured down like a curtain, cascading into the abyss like a waterfall, splashing like pearls and smoke, forming an extremely majestic scene. Standing on the bridge, one

felt as if they were outside the water and sky. "Hehe, these Dragon Immortals certainly have refined tastes. This abyss is nothing but a smooth road for them. Building this giant bridge is quite nice for leisurely sightseeing!" Ge Xiaoyao laughed, looking at the waterfall above the bridge.

Long Tianxin looked at Ge Xiaoyao with tender affection and said with a coquettish smile, "Brother Ge, although this place is not as beautiful as the Immortal Realm, it is still a wonderful place. If I could live here with you, I would gladly give you the entire Heavenly Realm!"

Ge Xiaoyao smiled and said, "Such a large place, with only the two of us, wouldn't it be a bit lonely?"

Upon hearing this, Long Tianxin understood Ge Xiaoyao's meaning. She pretended to be angry and glared at him, but said, "Lonely? What's so lonely about it? If you bring all the other sisters to live here, wouldn't it be lively?"

"Haha..." Ge Xiaoyao laughed, pondered for a moment, and smiled at Long Tianxin, saying, "That's exactly what I was thinking. Although I didn't create this Dragon Immortal True Mansion, it wouldn't be a bad idea to make it my private residence!"

Long Tianxin laughed and said, "Hmph... Do you want to keep a mistress in a golden cage? Don't get any ideas. I won't hold your previous sisters against you, but if you find someone new in the future, I won't let you off the hook!"

Ge Xiaoyao feigned reluctance and chuckled, "Do you think I want a new love? They all came to me on their own initiative, what can I do? Wouldn't it be too hurtful to refuse?"

Long Tianxin understood the implication in Ge Xiaoyao's words, pretended to be angry, stomped her foot, and said coquettishly, "Hmph... You're so frivolous, I'm ignoring you!" Seeing

that Long Tianxin was pretending to be angry, Ge Xiaoyao secretly laughed and deliberately teased her, "It's better if you ignore me, I just want some peace and quiet!" With that, he walked towards the top of the bridge.

"Dream on! Ge Xiaoyao..." Long Tianxin quickened her pace, catching up with Ge Xiaoyao. "Hmph, you abandoned me for ten thousand years, and now you want to abandon me again? There's no such thing as a free lunch!"

Seeing her hurrying after him, Ge Xiaoyao suddenly turned around and pulled her delicate body into his arms, laughing, "You actually believed me? I finally found such a beautiful wife, how could I bear to lose her again?!"

Long Tianxin suddenly let out a scream as Ge Xiaoyao embraced her. Hearing his words, her slight annoyance vanished instantly, and she gazed at him with deep affection in her beautiful eyes.

Seeing her tender gaze, Ge Xiaoyao couldn't resist kissing her cherry-red lips, and the two of them lingered tenderly amidst the waterfall and spring atop the long bridge.

After a long while, Long Tianxin finally lifted her head from Ge Xiaoyao's embrace, smoothed her messy hair with her delicate hand, and said, "Brother Ge, since we've decided to make this place our home, then you should quickly bring all my sisters here! Besides, my sisters must be heartbroken to think that your original spirit was devoured by the Immortal Execution Sword!"

Ge Xiaoyao's heart skipped a beat; he had almost forgotten about this. He immediately smiled and said, "As long as you're not jealous!"

Long Tianxin gave a soft snort and turned her back, saying, "I, Long Tianxin, wouldn't be so petty!"

Ge Xiaoyao then said, "Alright, I'll try to see if I can contact them!"

With that, he sat down on the ground on the long bridge and began to use his supreme profound skill to call out to Duomei using the Thousand-Mile Transmission Technique.

Meanwhile, Duo Mei and the others were all in Cangmang Mountain. During the day, they helped the Cangmang Daoist train his disciples and manage the sect's affairs. At night, however, they each longed for their lover, Ge Xiaoyao, some even weeping. Though they appeared beautiful and charming in public, only they knew the bitterness in their hearts.

Duo Mei, during a moment of leisure in Cangmang Mountain, thought of how Ge Xiaoyao had also suffered a great calamity and had healed his wounds at Longxian Lake on the snowy peak of Kunlun. She then felt a longing to return to Kunlun. Suddenly, she heard a familiar voice, as soft as a mosquito's buzz. Her heart leaped with joy, but the voice seemed to exist only briefly. She shook her head and sighed inwardly, thinking that her longing for Ge Xiaoyao had caused her to hallucinate.

"Duo Mei..." Ge Xiaoyao's voice rang out again. Duo Mei finally realized it wasn't a hallucination, but Ge Xiaoyao's telepathic communication technique. She immediately cried out in surprise, "Brother Ge...you're not dead! Where are you?"

Duo Mei's loud cry immediately attracted Ling Lei, Yu Lu, and Tianxin Fox Girl. The three women were all greatly surprised, thinking Duo Mei was hallucinating, and quickly comforted her.

When the three women also heard Ge Xiaoyao's voice, they all froze, tears streaming down their faces.

Ge Xiaoyao said, "I am currently at the bottom of Dragon Immortal Lake on the Kunlun Snow Peak. Because the distance is too far, my telepathic communication technique may not be able to reach you. If you, Duomei, can hear me, then you can gather

the power of the four of you to send a telepathic message to me!" Immediately, the four women pressed their hands together, concentrating their magic power, and Duomei sent a reply. After a long while, they received Ge Xiaoyao's reply: "Come quickly to the bottom of Dragon

Immortal Lake on the Kunlun Snow Peak. Brother Ge has a great gift for you!" The four women stood up, their gloom of the past few days vanished, and they all smiled broadly. Duomei thought for a moment and said, "We'll go tell Senior Cangmang right away, and we'll set off back to Kunlun immediately!"

Chapter 283 Dragon Immortal Rise Again (Part 2)

Kunlun Snow Peak, Dragon Immortal Lake.

A vast expanse of blue water surged, reflecting the surrounding snow-capped mountains, a scene of breathtaking beauty under the blue sky. Four women dressed in white floated on the lake, their beautiful faces eclipsing even the majestic snow-capped mountains.

Their spotless white robes fluttered as they glided across Dragon Immortal Lake like swans. They were none other than Duo Mei, Yu Lu, Ling Lei, and the Fox Girl, the four who had received Ge Xiaoyao's telepathic message from

afar. "Wow, it's so beautiful here..." None of the Fox Girl, Ling Lei, or Yu Lu had ever been to the snow-capped peaks of Kunlun. Seeing the water and sky merging into one, with the snow-covered peaks as white as jade, they all exclaimed in admiration.

Duo Mei, who had cultivated in Kunlun for many years and had visited Dragon Immortal Lake countless times, smiled and said, "Of course, this is the most beautiful spot in Kunlun Mountain. Ordinary people would never be able to reach this place!"

The Fox Girl narrowed her phoenix eyes and smiled, "Sister Duo Mei, if I could live in seclusion by Dragon Immortal Lake, I wouldn't want to go back to my Broken Heart Mountain!"

"Great!" Duo Mei smiled broadly, "Then we'll all settle down in Kunlun. I just don't know if Brother Ge will agree!"

At this moment, Yu Lu said, "Sister Duo Mei, when you return to Kunlun this time, won't you go back to your sect first?"

Duo Mei smiled slightly and remained silent. Ling Lei quickly explained for her, "What does the little girl know? Sister Duo Mei can't wait to see Brother Ge, she has no intention of returning to Kunlun Immortal Path!"

"Little girl... talking nonsense again!" Duo Mei said with a smile.

In the distance, a faint golden light gradually appeared in the center of the lake, like a golden sun leaping out of the blue lake. After a flash of light, two men and one woman appeared on the surface of the lake.

"Ah... Brother Ge!" Duo Mei and the others exclaimed, rushing to the center of the lake as fast as they could.

They wanted to hug Ge Xiaoyao, but when they saw the dark-faced ugly man and the beautiful woman beside him, they were all slightly stunned and held back.

"Brother Ge... are these the four beautiful sisters? They are so pretty... no wonder you can't bear to leave them!" Long Tianxin giggled and said to Ge Xiaoyao.

The four beautiful women looked at Ge Xiaoyao, relieved to see he was unharmed. Hearing Long Tianxin's words, they turned to look at her. Ling Lei couldn't help but ask, "Brother Ge, who is this?"

Ge Xiaoyao smiled slightly, then glanced at the Black-Faced Dragon Immortal. Seeing the gloating expression on the Dragon Immortal's face, he thought to himself, "How should I put this...?"

At this moment, Long Tianxin floated lightly between the four, saying generously, "My name is Tianxin, and I'm Brother Ge's... um... wife from his past life!"

"Tianxin... wife?" The four women gaped, all looking at the fox spirit Tianxin. Tianxin looked bewildered, staring at Long Tianxin's flawless face, a sense of déjà vu washing over her.

Long Tianxin blinked her large, bright eyes and nodded. She couldn't understand why the four reacted so strangely to her name.

"What a coincidence!" Ling Lei exclaimed, stepping forward to embrace Tianxin the Fox Girl. "She's also called Tianxin! You two have the same name!"

Long Tianxin was also stunned, looking at Tianxin the Fox Girl. Their eyes met and lingered for a long time. "Tianxin?" Long Tianxin asked hesitantly.

Tianxin the Fox Girl nodded and said, "Tianxin?"

"Alright... since we're all sisters, it's good that we know each other! We can talk about our connection later..." Duo Mei smiled, then thought for a moment and said, "My name is Duo Mei!" She then introduced Yu Lu and Ling Lei to Long Tianxin.

Ling Lei also smiled and said, "Yes, it seems Brother Ge said he was going to give us some big gift. Where is it? Brother Ge..."

"Ah! At least nothing went wrong!" Ge Xiaoyao breathed a sigh of relief, exchanged a glance with the Black-Faced Dragon Immortal, and smiled, "Come on, let me show you my Ge Xiaoyao's Immortal Medical Abode!"

Except for Long Tianxin, the four women's eyes shone with surprise. Ling Lei was the first to exclaim, "Brother Ge... you didn't settle down here for us, did you!"

Ge Xiaoyao remained noncommittal, smiling slightly, and said, "You'll see when you see it!" He then walked ahead.

Sunlight streamed through the deep blue lakebed, casting a golden-blue glow on the large stone tablet bearing the inscription "Ge Mansion."

Ge Xiaoyao had extensively renovated the entire Dragon Immortal Mansion. Besides preserving the two original main halls where the Dragon Immortal resided, a modern villa built of white stone had been constructed. Everything else, designed by Long Tianxin, had been transformed into a magnificent underwater wonder.

Especially noteworthy was the rainbow bridge, designed by Long Tianxin and sculpted by the Black-Faced Dragon Immortal using his immortal power for a day and a night, now resembling a golden dragon poised to take flight. Furthermore, the immortal power supporting the lakebed had been further enhanced, transforming the cascading waterfall into a fine mist, creating an even more ethereal atmosphere.

To provide the vast Healer's True Mansion with the immense immortal power of the isolating lake, Ge Xiaoyao went so far as to enlarge and fix the Dragon Immortal Platform in the center of the huge plaza between the three halls. The immortal power emanating from the golden Dragon Immortal Platform lifted the Dragon Immortal Lake, forming an independent space sealed by immortal power.

Apart from the guidance of the Dragon Immortal and Ge Xiaoyao, anyone who tried to forcibly enter this Healer's True Mansion would inevitably be attacked by the incomparably powerful immortal power of the Dragon Immortal Platform.

In fact, Ge Xiaoyao did this to establish sufficient defensive protection for his first foothold in the Three Realms. Although this Healer's True Mansion was located on the snowy peak of Kunlun, and had the free protection of the Kunlun Immortal Sect, which was powerful enough to dominate the mortal world, it was not enough to make Ge Xiaoyao truly at ease.

"Wow... Brother Ge... This place is so wonderful! We'll make this our home from now on!" Ling Lei exclaimed happily.

Ge Xiaoyao smiled slightly, "Let's see if there's anything we're not satisfied with, and we'll start renovating it right away!"

"Yes, four sisters, if you have any requests, just leave them to me!" Long Tianxin said enthusiastically.

The five girls, all brought together for Ge Xiaoyao, quickly became close friends. Although Long Tianxin could be said to have known Ge Xiaoyao the longest and was the oldest (probably tens of thousands of years old!), her delicate face and sometimes innocent, carefree personality undeniably made her the youngest of the five.

"Little Long sister... let's do it together! From now on, we'll be the mistresses here!" the fox-girl Tianxin laughed.

Along the way, a sense of familiarity allowed the two Tianxins to get to know each other better. To make things easier and clearer, they changed their affectionate terms of address: the fox-girl Tianxin called Long Tianxin "Little Long sister," while Long Tianxin called the fox-girl Tianxin "Little Fox sister."

"Yes, that's right, let's all do it together! I'll listen to Sister Duomei!" Yulu said.

"Brother Ge... we'll come up with the ideas, you just do the hard work!" Ling Lei giggled, squinting at Ge Xiaoyao.

Ge Xiaoyao smiled wryly; having too many women was indeed troublesome—they chattered incessantly, and he'd end up being the "hard worker."

"Hehe... but it's still quite blissful! A real man... if I don't do the hard labor, who will!" Ge Xiaoyao chuckled to himself. The

Black-Faced Dragon Immortal naturally became the head steward of the entire Medical Immortal's Mansion. Of course, he wouldn't let his "Third Prince" do the hard labor, but soon he felt overwhelmed and regretted sending all the Dragon Immortals out; he should have left a few to do odd jobs!

In the blink of an eye, seven or eight days passed, and the large-scale construction project of the Medical Immortal's Mansion at the bottom of Dragon Immortal Lake finally came to an end. Most of the Dragon Immortals in the lower realms also sent back news.

"Hehe, we Dragon Immortals are truly full of extraordinary talents!" Ge Xiaoyao laughed after hearing the Black-Faced Dragon Immortal's report.

It turned out that after Long Xiaotian and the others descended to the lower realms, they were scattered among various warlords. Their abilities were extraordinary; some had already become junior officers in the warlords' armies, while others, although just ordinary soldiers, had already established prestige. Some, without the opportunity to join the army, became merchants supplying provisions to the armies, making a fortune.

Several people, lacking the right opportunity, arrived in the mortal realm only to find themselves amidst chaos and unable to find shelter, ultimately being hunted down. Ge Xiaoyao consulted with the Black-Faced Dragon Immortal and summoned them back to the Immortal Healer's Mansion to help manage its affairs.

At this time, the Immortal Healer's Mansion had become a massive complex centered around the Ge family villa. At the suggestion of Ling Lei, Yu Lu, and the Heavenly Heart Fox Girl, the mansion's defenses had reached an almost supernatural level, making it virtually impenetrable. Long Tianxin even considered moving the Immortal Slaughtering Sword Formation to the Immortal Healer's Mansion. However

, she abandoned the idea after being persuaded by Ge Xiaoyao and Duo Mei. Because of Duo Mei and Ge Xiaoyao's presence, the Kunlun Immortal Path sent valuable gifts to celebrate the establishment of the Immortal Healer's Mansion.

Dozens of immense, piercing immortal energies intertwined above the entire Immortal Healer's Abode, forming an incomparably thick wall of immortal power. At the city gate stood a guardian stele, crafted from a wisp of ancient divine power extracted by Ge Xiaoyao. Beside the stele stood a colossal spirit beast with wings, a dragon's head, and a beastly body.

This was the Water Demon Dragon Sculpture, forged by Ge Xiaoyao using the Beast Refining Demon Scripture, combining the powerful attack characteristics of the three spirit beasts. Its physical body was incredibly strong, and even its roar, resembling both a dragon's cry and a beast's howl, contained immense, awe-inspiring immortal power.

Ge Xiaoyao was brimming with confidence in the Water Demon Dragon Sculpture he had created, as its cultivation was in no way inferior to his own.

"It feels so good to have a home!" Someone uttered these words, and a happy smile perpetually graced the faces of everyone in the Immortal Healer's Abode.

With nothing else to do, Ge Xiaoyao continued cultivating his supreme profound art. He was attempting to fuse and condense the chaotic true energy and immortal energy within his body into a single entity. Combined with the immense power of the mutated ferocious beast, he aimed to elevate his cultivation to another level.

The Kunlun basic true energy, Dragon Immortal true energy, Red Lotus true energy, ancient divine power, Immortal Slaughtering Sword Qi true energy, and the power of the White Tiger and Xuan Turtle mutated forms, through the refinement of the supreme profound art, gradually transformed into golden divine power, flowing through his crisscrossing meridians. His body was no longer an ordinary physical form, but an immortal body condensed from the Dragon Immortal Platform. The previously empty immortal energy shell had finally been differentiated and combined by him with divine power, forming new internal organs and meridians.

Simultaneously, he condensed a golden core of divine power within his body. When not in use, the divine power was stored within the golden core, ready to be unleashed at any time. Now, even Duo Mei and the others couldn't detect any signs of his cultivation; he appeared just like an ordinary mortal.

While Ge Xiaoyao focused on his cultivation, Duo Mei, along with Yu Lu, Tian Xin, Ling Lei, and other girls, wandered through the illusory realms of the Immortal Abode or went to Kunlun to play. The five of them had become inseparable confidantes, having a wonderful time.

In the blink of an eye, more than ten days passed. Most of the dragon immortals in the lower realm had settled down, and the few who had failed to enter the mortal world had returned to the True Mansion of the Healing Immortal. Ge Xiaoyao began to plan his next move. After all, although this place was peaceful, it was far from time for him to retire after achieving his goal.

"Brother Ge, you've caused quite a stir in my Kunlun!" Jiang Ziya's laughter echoed from afar, making Ge Xiaoyao's heart leap with joy. He laughed heartily, "Brother Jiang, what do you mean by 'your Kunlun'? Can't I just borrow this precious land for a peaceful stay?"

Jiang Ziya replied telepathically, chuckling, "Of course, of course..."

Ge Xiaoyao asked, "What orders does Brother have now? Where has the Xiqi army advanced to?"

"Brother Ge, in the battle of the Immortal Slaughtering Formation, the Jie Sect was defeated, and my Xiqi army advanced like a whirlwind. We have now reached Muye. King Zhou has gathered 300,000 slave soldiers, preparing to fight to the death with me and the various lords who are fighting against the rebellion!" Jiang Ziya said.

Ge Xiaoyao laughed, "Good... How could I, Ge Xiaoyao, be absent from such a lively event! I'll set off immediately for Muye!"

Chapter 284 The Battle of Muye (Part 1)

To the west of Chaoge City lies a vast wilderness, the pastureland of the Shang Dynasty.

At this time, the Muye Plain had already been occupied and confronted by hundreds of thousands of troops.

In the Battle of the Immortal Slaughtering Formation, the Jie Sect suffered a complete defeat and withdrew from the Shang-Zhou conflict. The situation in the Shang-Zhou war immediately took a sharp turn for the worse. The armies of Xiqi and various vassal states opposing King Zhou advanced with unstoppable momentum, meeting in the west of Muye.

Beyond this wilderness lay the city of Chaoge.

King Zhou, drunk and infatuated, finally sobered up somewhat. He flew into a rage, personally donning armor and leading the troops. He mobilized all the slaves of Chaoge, organizing an army of 300,000 slaves, preparing for a final battle against the rebels.

The wind blew the grass low, and a chill lingered.

After three years of war, the once glorious Shang Kingdom was desolate. This pasture, once teeming with cattle and sheep, was now empty. Only the occasional howl of wolves could be heard from the knee-high grass, startling gerbils and rabbits into a daze.

Jiang Ziya stood on a four-horse chariot, his long beard flowing, his gaze unwavering. In his left hand, a yellow flag fluttered, while in his right hand, the God-Slaying Whip gleamed with a dazzling golden light in the dim sunlight.

He gazed northward at the sliver of white cloud on the horizon, as if something there held immense allure.

However, there was nothing there.

"Prime Minister, all the lords are ready. The Shang slave army is demoralized and extremely weak; defeating them is a piece of cake." Nezha's fiery wheels roared through the air, leaving two streaks of fire before landing before Jiang Ziya.

Jiang Ziya stroked his beard and chuckled, "Good! Good! Has King Zhou made any other moves?"

Nezha frowned slightly, thought for a moment, and said, "Nothing much, just strict daily training of the slaves. However, a group of people has appeared among the lords, each highly skilled in martial arts, and seemingly possessing a cultivated physique."

"Oh? Is that so…?" Jiang Ziya asked doubtfully.

Nezha nodded and said, "Yes, but they are not members of the Jie Sect, but reclusive masters who are helping us!"

Jiang Ziya thought for a moment and said, "When the world is in chaos, it is common for extraordinary people to emerge. As long as they do not aid the wicked, they are our friends. Let them go!"

Nezha nodded, took his leave, and left. Jiang Ziya looked up at the horizon and suddenly noticed a black dot in the distance, rapidly approaching.

"Hehe, you've finally arrived!" Jiang Ziya thought to himself, and then used telepathy to say, "Brother Ge, you've come so quickly!"

Ge Xiaoyao flew quickly and arrived in front of Jiang Ziya in an instant, chuckling, "This time I left them on Kunlun Mountain and came alone, of course I'm fast!"

Jiang Ziya shook his head with a smile, "It seems they are the ones who are holding you back!"

Ge Xiaoyao laughed, "Without them, it's suddenly quiet, and I'm not used to it!"

The two laughed, Ge Xiaoyao mounted his chariot, and Jiang Ziya ordered the soldiers to whip their horses and return to the camp.

"Brother Jiang, what's the situation now? Does King Zhou want a final, decisive battle?" Ge Xiaoyao asked.

Jiang Ziya replied, "Yes, the army is pressing in. King Zhou's end is near. Even a cornered beast will fight. We must not underestimate him!"

The chariot sped past the imposing vanguard of the Western Qi army.

Led by Jiang Ziya, Ge Xiaoyao entered the central command tent. Hanging inside was a huge map of the Shang Dynasty's landscape, with Mu Ye marked with a heavy red cross.

Jiang Ziya summoned his generals, and Yang Jian, Nezha, Huang Feihu, and others came to greet Ge Xiaoyao. After the battle at the Immortal Slaughtering Formation, Ge Xiaoyao had become a legendary figure in the Western Qi army. Everyone had assumed he had been devoured by the Immortal Slaughtering Sword, and they were all astonished to see him standing before them, full of life.

Upon further inquiry, Ge Xiaoyao briefly recounted how he escaped from the Demon-Suppressing Cave. Everyone praised Ge Xiaoyao, saying he truly possessed extraordinary talent and had been protected by a divine being.

Yang Jian laughed and said, "Brother Ge, I lost three things to you in the bet back then. I wonder if you have any instructions for me now?"

"Hehe, you Erlang Shen, I'm not going to let you off so easily! Just wait and see, whatever I ask you to do will definitely give you a headache for three days!" Ge Xiaoyao thought to himself, then said, "Brother Yang, it's still early... I haven't decided yet!"

At this moment, Jiang Ziya said, "Now the situation is settled, the fate of Shang Zhou is sealed, we only need to defeat the Shang army in one fell swoop on Muye, and we can take Chaoge City in one fell swoop!"

The generals said, "Yes, we will obey the Prime Minister's order!"

Jiang Ziya glanced at Ge Xiaoyao and said, "The two sides are evenly matched. Our Xiqi army plus the thirteen vassal states have a total of 200,000 elite troops, while Shang Zhou's army has 300,000. Although we are outnumbered, Shang Zhou's army is a rabble and will be defeated in one blow!"

The generals all nodded, and Huang Feihu stepped forward and said, "Prime Minister, why do we need 200,000 troops? I will lead 10,000 troops to attack Shang Zhou's central army and kill ..." " It would be as easy as turning one's hand to take King Zhou's dog head!"

Jiang Ziya chuckled and said, "General Feihu, that's true, but we still need to plan our next move carefully. From today onwards, order the three armies to never abandon their horses by day or remove their armor by night, and to be ready to fight King Zhou of Shang at any time!" The generals replied,

"Yes!"

Just then, a messenger came in from outside the tent and reported, "Reporting to the Prime Minister, Marquis Xichu has led his troops in a reckless advance and has been defeated in battle with the Shang army. Urgent rescue is needed!"

Everyone was shocked. Jiang Ziya thought for a moment and said, "Alright, I understand!"

The messenger withdrew, and after a moment of silence, he glanced at the generals and sighed, "Marquis Xichu's 20,000 troops are doomed this time!" He then said, "Nezha, quickly use your Wind-Fire Wheels to go to the southwest of Muye and rescue Marquis Xichu. Don't let him die at the hands of King Zhou of Shang!" Nezha

nodded and said, "Yes," and turned to leave.

The generals' faces darkened; they hadn't expected to suffer losses before even engaging in battle—a truly ominous sign.

Ge Xiaoyao, a seasoned military commander, understood the unpredictable nature of warfare and how the situation could change in an instant. Moreover, victorious armies were most vulnerable to arrogance and complacency, and to reckless individual advances. He pondered for a moment and said, "Although King Zhou is addicted to wine and women, he is actually a fierce and skilled strategist. This time, he has mobilized all his slave troops, intending to fight us to the death. We cannot underestimate him!"

Jiang Ziya nodded and said, "On the plains of Muye, we can only fight with brute force, but also with skill! All generals must strictly control their men and ensure that the formation is not disrupted."

The generals agreed.

Suddenly, another messenger arrived with a report: "The Marquis of Dongchu has dispatched his own troops to rescue the Marquis of Xichu!"

Jiang Ziya's expression immediately changed, and he frowned deeply, saying, "This is bad! The Marquis of Dongchu and the Marquis of Xichu are brothers of the same surname. This mission to rescue him will likely end in grave danger!" He then instructed, "Yang Jian, you immediately lead ten thousand men to pursue and bring back the Marquis of Dongchu. If he refuses, use magic to capture him! There are certainly many powerful and skilled individuals in King Zhou's army, so be extremely careful!"

Yang Jian agreed and was about to leave the tent. Seeing that he had nothing to do, Ge Xiaoyao thought he might as well go out and have some fun, and maybe even have a chance to meet that debauched King Zhou again. He immediately said, "Wait a minute... Brother Jiang, why don't I go with Brother Yang Jian? If there's any emergency, I can be a helper!"

Jiang Ziya thought for a moment and smiled, "Brother Ge, are you itching for a fight? Very well! Then you can temporarily serve as Yang Jian's deputy general, with three thousand soldiers under your command, how about that?"

Ge Xiaoyao didn't care much about rank; as long as he could experience the battlefield, he was happy. He nodded and smiled, "That's excellent, thank you, Brother Jiang!" He then winked at Yang Jian.

Yang Jian had been saved by Ge Xiaoyao in the Battle of the Immortal Slaughtering Formation and had also lost a bet to him, so he greatly admired Ge Xiaoyao. Seeing that Ge Xiaoyao wanted to go with him, he was naturally delighted.

Jiang Ziya thought for a moment and then said, "Yang Jian, Brother Ge, although this is a rescue mission, if the Dongchu army and the Shang army engage in battle, you will probably not be able to avoid a fight. Remember not to linger in battle and prioritize a safe retreat!"

Ge Xiaoyao laughed and said, "I will!" With that, he and Yang Jian rushed out of the tent.

Muye, this pastureland stretching for about a hundred li in width and a thousand li in length and breadth, was where Ge Xiaoyao and Yang Jian led ten thousand Xiqi soldiers out of their camp. Following the instructions of their vanguard scouts, they charged towards the area where Dongchu Hou was besieged.

"Haha, riding horses on this plain is truly exhilarating!" Ge Xiaoyao seemed to have rediscovered the feeling of riding horses in Inner Mongolia. He didn't even use his divine power, relying solely on his physical strength to steer his white warhorse forward.

Following him were three thousand elite soldiers personally selected by Yang Jian. To ensure their absolute obedience to Ge Xiaoyao, he had strictly ordered that anyone who disobeyed his orders would be executed on the spot, and even if they escaped, they would not live more than three days.

Yang Jian wasn't exaggerating. He had a nickname in the army: "Yang the Unparalleled." He was extremely ruthless towards deserters, and his Howling Celestial Dog was a divine beast that tracked deserters; even if you burrowed underground, it could drag you out.

However, some soldiers had heard of Ge Xiaoyao's reputation, and some generals were also familiar with his relationship with Jiang Ziya. They naturally held him in the highest esteem, secretly hoping to witness the true extent of this seemingly divine general's power.

"General Ge...why aren't we going to rescue Marquis Dongchu and the others?" a burly, red-faced man shouted, chasing after Ge Xiaoyao on horseback.

It turned out that Ge Xiaoyao, leading his troops past Yang Jian's ten thousand soldiers, had galloped eastward.

Ge Xiaoyao had heard Yang Jian introduce this red-faced man; he was actually the original general of these three thousand elite soldiers, named Zhao Dali. However, with Ge Xiaoyao's arrival, he had been relegated to the position of deputy general. With a mysterious smile, he said, "I'll take you for a ride..."

Ge Xiaoyao had secretly informed Yang Jian, as Jiang Ziya had entrusted him with the authority to lead troops independently. Yang Jian did not object, allowing Ge Xiaoyao to lead his three thousand soldiers across the open plains.

Zhao Dali couldn't figure out what Ge Xiaoyao meant by "going for a ride," but he didn't have time to ask further, as Ge Xiaoyao had already spurred his horse and galloped ahead.

The three thousand soldiers followed closely behind Ge Xiaoyao's white horse, galloping wildly across the wilderness, kicking up clouds of dust. Only when Ge Xiaoyao's horse grew tired did he tighten the reins and slow down, waiting for the infantry to catch up.

Looking back, Ge Xiaoyao couldn't help but admire the strict discipline and excellent training of the Xiqi army. His galloping horse had left the infantry and even Zhao Dali's five hundred cavalrymen far behind.

Moreover, after traveling such a long distance, the infantry's stamina was greatly depleted; in any other infantry army, they would probably have been routed. But this Xiqi army maintained its original formation.

Although some fell behind, their positions were quickly filled, and cavalrymen would swiftly return to help them onto their horses or allow them to ride.

"Excellent! How could such an army not win battles!" Ge Xiaoyao thought to himself, turning his horse around and raising his hand to the infantrymen who, though panting, were still gritting their teeth and running, making a "stop" gesture from afar. Then he turned his horse around and rode back.

Zhao Dali met Ge Xiaoyao; after a long gallop, he was also panting heavily. "General Ge, why do we stop?"

Ge Xiaoyao smiled slightly, looking at the soldiers' exhausted appearance, and felt a pang of guilt. "Isn't this just messing with them?" He himself wouldn't feel good either; he would probably have cursed that bastard general a thousand times over.

"Haha... General Zhao, brothers, I'm really sorry! I haven't ridden a horse in a long time, and I really had a bit of fun today, making you all suffer with me!"

Zhao Dali was taken aback, then laughed and cried at the same time. It turned out that the general hadn't had any particular purpose in his gallop; he had just come to enjoy riding! However, seeing that Ge Xiaoyao's breathing was even and his complexion unchanged, without a trace of fatigue, he secretly admired his extraordinary stamina.

Little did he know that Ge Xiaoyao's body was now essentially that of an immortal, and as long as his divine power remained inexhaustible, he would never feel fatigued.

At this moment, the three thousand infantrymen had caught up and were resting on the spot as Ge Xiaoyao had ordered. Ge Xiaoyao surveyed his surroundings, seeing only the vast wilderness with these three thousand men present. In the far distance, a faint sound of battle cries seemed to be approaching, growing ever closer.

Chapter 285 Battle of Muye (Part 2)

Ge Xiaoyao frowned slightly, his divine power naturally emanating as he moved eastward, skimming the ground, finally drawing ever closer to the battle cries.

"The fighting is quite fierce! It seems Yang Jian truly deserves to be called a fierce general!"

It seemed that thousands upon thousands of people were bloodthirsty, wildly slashing at the nearest enemy with their swords and spears. Those

who survive on the battlefield are often not the hot-blooded, but the most clear-headed and calm. However, these clear-headed and calm individuals, who are not blinded by death and bloodshed, are ultimately a minority.

Therefore, the battlefield at this moment was littered with corpses and rivers of blood. Most of those who fell were slave soldiers of the Shang Dynasty.

When Ge Xiaoyao assessed the situation, a sense of foreboding washed over him, for the Shang army surged forward, overwhelming the Xiqi army in numbers.

Yang Jian wielded his three-pointed, double-edged sword; with a flash of cold light, heads rolled, and he was in the heat of battle. However, on his warhorse lay a wounded middle-aged man, lying supine, blood flowing down his ornate armor. His fate was unknown; this must be the so-called King of Dongchu.

"Yang Jian, retreat quickly! It seems King Zhou is determined to devour all the reinforcements this time!" Ge Xiaoyao said to Yang Jian, observing the situation and seeing countless more Shang soldiers surging in from afar.

Yang Jian abruptly stopped his longsword, looked around but couldn't see Ge Xiaoyao. He frowned, assessed the battle, and suddenly shouted, "Western Qi and Eastern Chu soldiers, heed my command! Front ranks become rear ranks, provide cross-cover, and retreat!"

Ge Xiaoyao smiled slightly, thinking to himself, "As the saying goes, 'Kill a thousand enemies, lose eight hundred of your own.' Of the ten thousand-plus Western Qi soldiers Yang Jian led this time, five thousand will be lucky to return!"

The Eastern Chu army had clearly been ambushed by the Shang army; of their twenty thousand men, only a thousand remained. Fortunately, Yang Jian had arrived in time and their commander was unharmed. Hearing the retreat order, they retreated frantically.

"Alright... now it's my turn, Ge Xiaoyao!" Ge Xiaoyao quietly withdrew his divine power and spiritual sense, and shouted to the three thousand elite Western Qi soldiers who were resting, "Pass on my order! Be on high alert!"

Hearing their commander's words, the soldiers sprang to their feet, swords and spears raised, facing east, as if facing an enemy attack.

Ge Xiaoyao smiled and said, "A Shang army will be passing through here in a moment. We must annihilate them all, leaving no one alive!"

The entire army roared, "Yes, sir!"

Deputy General Zhao Dali looked puzzled and leaned close to Ge Xiaoyao, whispering, "General Ge, what Shang army is passing through here?"

Ge Xiaoyao smiled and said, "You'll find out soon enough!"

A bloody wind swept across the vast grassland. Ge Xiaoyao smiled and said, "They're here!"

Sure enough, the sound of countless hooves could be heard in the distance, followed by the fluttering golden Shang army banners. Judging by sight alone, there were at least three thousand Shang cavalrymen.

"Brothers! These cavalrymen are preparing to outflank Yang Jian... Let's wipe them out! Let that King Zhou suffer a great loss!" Ge Xiaoyao laughed.

Although his voice wasn't loud, it carried a divine power within it, clearly reaching the ears of every soldier. The commander's ease immediately brought laughter to the army. The tense atmosphere instantly eased.

It seemed they weren't engaged in a life-or-death battle, but rather playing a hunting game.

"Kill..." A deafening roar rang out, and the three thousand infantrymen, under the command of Ge Xiaoyao and Zhao Dali, split into three groups and charged towards the three thousand cavalrymen.

Infantry against cavalry is a major taboo in warfare, as infantry can only unleash their full destructive power when forming battle formations, while the powerful charge of cavalry is undoubtedly the nemesis of infantry formations. However, this only applies to ordinary battles. Once a god-like general with superhuman strength like Ge Xiaoyao is present, the situation is entirely different.

Zhao Dali, a veteran of many battles, could easily see this. He wanted to strongly urge Ge Xiaoyao to retreat quickly, but Ge Xiaoyao seemed confident, making it clear that he either possessed extraordinary skills to defeat the enemy or was a complete idiot who knew nothing about warfare.

If it was the former, he wouldn't need to worry or persuade him; if it was the latter, worrying and persuasion would be useless. Military orders are strict, and obedience is paramount, even unto death.

A white light emanated from Ge Xiaoyao's body, unfolding and radiating outwards like waves and thunder, rolling forward with a whistling sound that left all the Xiqi soldiers dumbfounded. "What kind of power is this?"

Upon seeing this energy, Zhao Dali breathed a sigh of relief and cast an admiring glance at Ge Xiaoyao. He knew he wouldn't even need to lift a finger to win this battle.

Before the Xiqi and Shang armies even clashed, Ge Xiaoyao's white aura had already reached the Shang army's front lines. With a deafening roar, a dazzling flash of cold light appeared, followed by countless shrill screams and the neighing of horses.

"All troops, prepare for battle! I, Ge Xiaoyao, am going!" Ge Xiaoyao laughed loudly, spurring his horse into the white light.

What followed was a spectacular performance by Ge Xiaoyao, a one-man show.

In a war between gods and men, the outcome was never in doubt.

Ge Xiaoyao was enveloped in a layer of faint golden armor, which even covered his white warhorse. He watched as countless gleaming swords and spears hurtled towards him, only to be deflected, shattering and breaking. Ge Xiaoyao held a long-handled battle axe in his hand; where the axe flashed, blood splattered everywhere. In

less than an hour, nearly a thousand of the three thousand elite Shang cavalrymen had been killed or wounded. While Ge Xiaoyao's imposing presence greatly boosted the morale of the Xiqi army, it also ruthlessly shattered the fighting spirit of the Shang army. However, they couldn't escape; they had no choice but to advance, for turning back meant certain death—a rule Ge Xiaoyao had set for them.

Finally, a Shang soldier cried out, discarding his longsword and tumbling from his horse, crying, "God... spare me!"

One Shang soldier abandoned his spear, another his weapon...

two thousand Shang soldiers willingly became Ge Xiaoyao's prisoners.

"General Ge... God!... General Ge, God!" Zhao Dali shouted first, followed by the cheers of three thousand Xiqi soldiers.

Ge Xiaoyao took a deep breath, withdrew his divine power shield, and, without a trace of blood on his body, calmly smiled and said, "What's this? There's more to come!"

In less than half a day, the three thousand infantrymen Ge Xiaoyao had led had become a cavalry force. As for the surrendered Shang prisoners of war, Ge Xiaoyao naturally wouldn't take them with him. Their spirits had been utterly crushed; it was conceivable that even if they died, they would never return to the battlefield.

Ge Xiaoyao's three thousand cavalrymen galloped swiftly eastward. Ge Xiaoyao was surprised to find that Yang Jian and his men hadn't retreated. "Were they caught by the Shang army, or has something else changed?" Ge Xiaoyao wondered to himself. This time, he would lead these three thousand confident elite Xiqi cavalrymen to see for themselves.

The Muye Plain was now desolate.

Scattered everywhere were broken helmets, tattered armor, and shattered weapons, along with the stiffened remains of severed limbs.

The wind howled, and battle cries echoed.

When Ge Xiaoyao arrived at the place where Yang Jian had come to the aid of Dongchuhou, his three thousand cavalrymen were already engulfed in a vast sea of thousands of soldiers.

Two hundred thousand against three hundred thousand—the decisive battle between the Shang army and the punitive expeditionary force had begun prematurely.

It turned out that when Ge Xiaoyao reminded Yang Jian to retreat and return to eliminate the three thousand Shang cavalrymen, the situation had changed. Several other lords, disregarding Jiang Ziya's orders, led their armies into battle prematurely in an attempt to rescue the ambitious and reckless Marquis of Dongchu and Xichu.

Although Jiang Ziya knew the decisive battle was still far off, he couldn't stand idly by. He immediately dispatched the entire 100,000-strong army of Xiqi to confront King Zhou's 300,000-strong army at Muye.

There were no rules of conduct; the Shang army, the armies of Xiqi, and the various lords seemed to have fallen into a frenzy.

Half a million men clashed on the vast wilderness, their blood staining the setting sun red.

Ge Xiaoyao saw neither Jiang Ziya nor King Zhou. Lost in the sea of people, he didn't bother searching for them; it was all the same battle. The victor was king—that was the rule of war; everything else was irrelevant.

"Brothers! Our target isn't the entire Shang army, but a part of it. My demands aren't high... Ge Xiaoyao's cavalry, attack! Each man must only take three heads, then retreat!" Ge Xiaoyao gave the order to his three thousand cavalrymen.

He winked at Zhao Dali, who led a thousand men into the surging crowd, disappearing in the blink of an eye.

Ge Xiaoyao ordered the remaining two thousand cavalrymen to form a circular defensive formation. He knew that in such a chaotic battle, if they didn't maintain their formation, they would quickly be thrown into disarray, and then they would lose the initiative.

"Whoosh..." Waves of Shang soldiers charged towards them, only to be repelled by Ge Xiaoyao's divine strength and the longswords of his cavalry. Ge Xiaoyao's formation remained intact.

No one is fearless. Although the Shang soldiers were bloodthirsty, they weren't completely reckless. After suffering heavy losses in their initial charge, they turned to attack other armies.

Ge Xiaoyao watched the battlefield with a smile. The battlefield resembled a struggle between wolf packs, each wolf desperately seeking its prey, only to inevitably stumble upon one. The lucky ones survived, the unlucky ones...

Ge Xiaoyao's two thousand cavalrymen stood firm as rocks, maintaining their independence and unbreakable momentum amidst the chaos, preventing any Shang army from directly confronting them or easily provoking them.

In the midst of chaos, killing enemies was easy, but the greatest danger was being blinded by bloodshed, losing one's mind and becoming frenzied. Therefore, Ge Xiaoyao's strict order for each man to collect three heads was absolutely correct.

A thousand men went, nine hundred returned. Looking at the bloodied heads hanging from the warhorses, Ge Xiaoyao smiled with satisfaction.

Zhao Dali's face was covered in blood, all three heads hanging beside his horse; in fact, he had killed more than three. Ge Xiaoyao naturally understood.

With a wave of his hand, another thousand-man unit charged out, their mission still three heads per man.

Zhao Dali led nine hundred men into the battle, but Ge Xiaoyao's formation remained unbreakable.

This continued until each warhorse bore nine heads, at which point the situation finally became clear.

Seven or eight out of ten Shang soldiers were lost, while those from Xiqi and the various vassal states were down to five or six out of ten. The most intact force was Ge Xiaoyao's three thousand men, who had only lost a little over two hundred.

"General Ge… the battle of the Divine Dragon has terrified the Shang Dynasty!" A burly, dark-faced man riding a one-horned yellow ox, moving with the speed of a galloping horse, charged towards Ge Xiaoyao, shouting loudly.

Ge Xiaoyao smiled slightly and said, "Good… the might of the Divine Dragon will surely conquer the world!"

The burly, dark-faced man on the one-horned yellow ox grinned and charged back into the chaos, his bronze longsword slashing diagonally, instantly beheading a Shang Dynasty guard.

"It seems the Dragon Immortal has secured a place in this world!" Ge Xiaoyao thought to himself with a smile, then swung his giant axe downwards, and Zhao Dali led another army out.

The chaos of the disorganized army was only temporary. As the remaining forces from both sides gradually joined the battle, the fighting forces either fled or retreated, gradually widening the distance between them.

Ge Xiaoyao knew this was inevitable, yet he slowly advanced his cavalry, drawing them closer to the center of the battlefield. There, the commanders of both sides would appear sooner or later.

Besides Jiang Ziya, Ge Xiaoyao also wanted to see King Zhou, who was personally leading the army.

"King Zhou... King Zhou, I, Ge Xiaoyao, will not let you die in this chaotic army! You must take me back to save Chu Yu!" Ge Xiaoyao thought to himself. "Chu Yu, wait for me!" The bewitching eyes of the nine-tailed fox spirit reappeared in his mind, and he said hatefully, "Nine-tailed fox spirit, I will make you pay!"

Chapter 286 Battle of Muye (Part 2)

"Thump thump thump..."

The war drums beat, and the iron halberds stood tall.

Ge Xiaoyao's gaze swept over the thousands of troops and horses, finally landing slowly on a five-colored warhorse in front of the Shang army camp.

Standing on the horse was a man eight feet tall, with thick eyebrows and big eyes, his sword-like eyebrows tightly furrowed. He wore a suit of golden armor with monster patterns and held a golden curved sword. It was none other than King Zhou, the ruler of the Shang Kingdom.

"So many treacherous ministers and traitors, how dare you defy the heavens and betray my Shang Dynasty! What is your crime?!" King Zhou's voice was like a muffled bell, and his body swayed slightly as he mounted the horse.

Perhaps others couldn't see it, but although King Zhou appeared strong, he was actually weak and listless, clearly weakened by women.

A burly man laughed loudly: "Who is truly defying the heavens? A tyrannical and incompetent ruler, all heroes of the world can kill him!"

Ge Xiaoyao smiled slightly, turned to Zhao Dali beside him, whispered a few words, and then laughed loudly as well. His body soared like a great bird, leaping over countless swords and spears, landing at the front of the formation.

"Oh? Ge Xiaoyao..."

"Brother Ge..."

King Zhou and Jiang Ziya exclaimed simultaneously.

"Ge Xiaoyao, what are you doing here? You plotted against me back then, yet I didn't kill you. How dare you rebel against my Great Shang?" King Zhou demanded.

Jiang Ziya, however, smiled slightly. He knew the grudge between Ge Xiaoyao and King Zhou, and at this moment, he smiled silently, watching to see how Ge Xiaoyao would answer.

Ge Xiaoyao stood tall with his arms crossed, laughing and shouting, "Your Majesty, do you know why I harmed you back then?"

King Zhou angrily retorted, "Ge Xiaoyao, I treated you well back then, why did you scheme to harm me?"

"Hmph, well... everyone knows you, King Zhou, are licentious and dote on Daji! But you don't know one thing: Daji is a demon concubine, her original form is a nine-tailed fox!" Ge Xiaoyao sneered.

King Zhou was secretly alarmed, "Ge Xiaoyao, stop spreading your lies! How could my beloved concubine Daji be a demon! You traitor, today, out of consideration for our past relationship, if you can change your ways and abandon your treacherous heart, I will spare your life!"

"King Zhou, today you must see clearly that your Shang dynasty is doomed. If you know what's good for you, you should obediently dismount and surrender, and we will spare your life!" Yang Jian couldn't help but shout at this moment.

At this time, the Shang generals in King Zhou's army also began to hurl insults at each other.

The shouts of both sides were deafening, but the momentum of the Xiqi army and the various lords clearly overwhelmed the Shang army's slave troops.

Jiang Ziya laughed loudly, "To punish the tyrannical King Zhou of Shang, to act on behalf of Heaven, and to save the people of the world, in this battle, kill!" Although his voice was not loud, it was infused with immortal power, and it clearly reached the ears of every soldier. As he spoke, he waved his apricot-yellow command flag, and the war drums in the army immediately thundered, and a battle cry shook the heavens.

King Zhou also shouted, "Kill these rebellious ministers! I, the King, will grant you freedom, and you will enjoy endless wealth and glory!" A battle cry also rang out from the slave army.

The army surged forward like a tide, and Ge Xiaoyao's figure rose into the air, but he used the Thousand-Mile Transmission Technique to notify Zhao Dali, "Take command of the troops and hold your ground!"

Among the Shang army, there were naturally also experts, whose magical powers swept across the land, causing the righteous troops charging at the front to fall like soldiers.

Jiang Ziya sat firmly on his chariot, protected by Huang Feihu, Nezha, Yang Jian, and others, remaining motionless as he watched the Shang army repel the various allied forces and charge towards the main army of Xiqi.

In truth, among the various allied armies, the hundred Dragon Immortals possessed formidable strength, but following Ge Xiaoyao's instructions, they concealed their abilities, hiding their true power to ensure the safety of themselves and their subordinates.

Seeing the Shang army's overwhelming numbers, Nezha, Yang Jian, and the others, having routed the various allied forces in less than half an hour, urged Jiang Ziya to attack, saying, "Prime Minister, let's attack!" Jiang

Ziya smiled slightly, shook his head, and said, "Don't rush, don't rush..." He then looked at Ge Xiaoyao.

Ge Xiaoyao frowned, his gaze fixed on the five-colored warhorse. On that warhorse, King Zhou wielded a golden scimitar, directing his army's relentless advance.

"Brothers of the Shang army, I know you are all born slaves, and you've had enough of the abuse and humiliation inflicted by this tyrannical and incompetent army. Do you still intend to die for them?" Jiang Ziya's voice echoed far and wide, like thunder reverberating in everyone's hearts, drowning out the rumbling war drums, shouts, clashing swords and spears, and the cries of the wounded.

Someone in the Shang army shouted, "Yes! This tyrannical and incompetent ruler deserves to die long ago! This tyrannical Shang kingdom deserves to perish! We would rather die than serve them again!"

"Rather than die in battle, let's rebel!" another slave soldier shouted.

The Shang army began to riot, countless soldiers brandishing their spears and halberds, shouting.

King Zhou's face changed drastically. He slashed with his golden scimitar, killing two rebelling soldiers who rushed towards him, and roared, "Rebels, kill without mercy!"

His generals began to lead the central guards to hunt down and kill the rebellious slave soldiers.

Jiang Ziya glanced at Ge Xiaoyao, nodded, and smiled.

Ge Xiaoyao thought to himself, "Damn! So this was all orchestrated by Jiang Ziya! It seems there are quite a few spies among the Shang army!"

At this moment, the Shang army was in complete chaos, with many slave soldiers already fighting against the Shang troops. Civil war was imminent, and more and more slave soldiers joined the battle.

Ge Xiaoyao nodded and smiled at Jiang Ziya, giving him a thumbs up.

Jiang Ziya stroked his beard and smiled, seeing the opportunity had arrived. He waved his apricot-yellow flag and gave the order to attack.

Nezha, Yang Jian, and others, who had been eagerly rushing into the battlefield, led their soldiers out with shouts.

Nezha's Wind-Fire Wheels instantly expanded tenfold, billowing flames. Shang soldiers who encountered them were burned beyond recognition, screaming in agony.

Yang Jian also released his Howling Celestial Dog, which, unfazed by swords and spears, charged straight into the crowd. Its wolf fangs and claws flashed, sending blood and flesh flying, as countless Shang soldiers fled for their lives.

In an instant, the entire Muye Plain was shrouded in dark clouds, filled with blood and gore, transforming it into a veritable hell on earth.

"Kill King Zhou... attack Chaoge!" someone shouted from within the Shang slave army. Seeing that they would die whether they fought or not, countless slave soldiers raised their halberds and fought desperately against the regular Shang troops.

King Zhou, seeing that all was lost, sighed and tried to flee under the protection of his central army.

"King Zhou, where do you think you're going?!" Nezha, already airborne, had spotted him and spun his Wind-Fire Wheels, flying towards King Zhou.

Two figures flew around King Zhou—his personal advisors and protectors, both demons trained by Shen Gongbao.

However, they were no match for Nezha. With a furious roar, Nezha swung his spear, a sharp, cold light of true energy flashing through the air, instantly sweeping the two men to the ground.

"Haha... King Zhou, watch me capture you alive today!" Nezha laughed loudly, urging his Wind-Fire Wheels to capture King Zhou alive.

At this moment, a figure suddenly flew up from among King Zhou's guards, a flash of red light forcing Nezha back dozens of feet. The man wore a Taoist robe with gold trim, his face was sinister, and he lightly waved a cold iron whisk in his hand, saying in a sinister voice: "Nezha brat, with my grandpa Shen Gongbao here, how dare you act so wildly!"

Nezha was startled. He recognized Shen Gongbao, as Shen Gongbao was originally a member of the Kunlun Chan Sect and a sworn brother of Nezha's master, Taiyi Zhenren. However, despite his young age, Nezha was bold. He immediately sneered, "You evil Taoist, you betrayed your sect and even aided and abetted evil! Today, I, Nezha, will make you suffer a terrible death!" With that, he activated his Wind-Fire Wheels, raised his spear, and prepared to fight Shen Gongbao.

"Nezha...step back!" Jiang Ziya's voice echoed from afar. Nezha then realized that Jiang Ziya had somehow appeared beside him and hurriedly said, "Uncle-Master..."

Jiang Ziya nodded to Nezha, but turned to Shen Gongbao and said, "You demon...you are the demonic clone of my junior brother Shen Gongbao. Junior brother Shen once said that he would capture you no matter what! Now that you see me, Jiang Ziya, why don't you surrender?"

Shen Gongbao, now exposed by Jiang Ziya, knew he was no match for him. He glanced around and saw that King Zhou had been escorted away by the central army. He then laughed and said, "Jiang Ziya, do you have the ability?!" As he spoke, he suddenly unleashed a huge cloud of black mist, enveloping Jiang Ziya and the others.

"A mere trick!" Jiang Ziya flicked his fingers, and two golden lights shot out, instantly dispelling the black mist.

However, Shen Gongbao had already vanished.

Nezha exclaimed, "What a clever trick! Uncle-Master... Shen Gongbao is too cunning!"

Jiang Ziya smiled slightly and said, "It's alright, it's alright..." He then took out a jade-green gourd from his robes, holding it in his palm, and said, "This is a magic weapon your Uncle-Master Shen specially left behind to capture this demonic body. It was forged from his immortal avatar..."

Nezha looked surprised and nodded, watching to see how Jiang Ziya would use it.

Jiang Ziya held up the jade-green gourd, chanting incantations, and suddenly shouted "Hurry!" before throwing the gourd into the air.

The gourd immediately emitted a shimmering green light, and actually fell directly into the chaotic army still engaged in battle. The shimmering green light grew stronger and stronger, enveloping a person in mid-air and sucking them into the gourd.

Jiang Ziya chuckled and said, "Junior Brother Shen, I have finally fulfilled your trust and captured your demonic body!"

The gourd shone with green light, and gradually a person emerged, whose appearance was exactly the same as Shen Gongbao's. He chuckled and said, "Thank you, Senior Brother Jiang..."

Seeing the confusion in Nezha's eyes, Jiang Ziya smiled slightly and said, "This is your Uncle Shen's original form. Why don't you come forward and pay your respects!" As he spoke, he transmitted his voice to Ge Xiaoyao, "Brother Ge, won't you come and meet your old friend?"

Ge Xiaoyao was directing his three thousand cavalry in the chaos of the Shang army, but he hadn't forgotten about this place and was fully aware of what was happening. He immediately flew over and chuckled, "Congratulations, Senior Brother Shen, on finally completely merging your two bodies!"

Shen Gongbao glanced at Ge Xiaoyao, a slight surprise appearing in his eyes, and then nodded and smiled, "..." "Brother Ge is indeed exceptionally fortunate! After parting ways at Hundred Herbs Cliff, you've cultivated such power in just a few short years!"

Ge Xiaoyao had caused him to mistakenly consume the Hundred Herbs Demon Pill, leading to the creation of this demonic avatar. He had also conspired with Shen Gongbao, the avatar's mastermind, to achieve his own goals, his intentions somewhat wicked. Now, feeling a pang of guilt, he said, "Back then, it was I, Ge Xiaoyao, who caused you to mistakenly consume the Hundred Herbs Demon Pill, thus implicating you. I hope you can forgive me!"

Shen Gongbao chuckled and said, "You acted unintentionally back then, so what's wrong with that? This demonic avatar's evil deeds are simply the will of Heaven... Alright, I'm going to refine this avatar in the East Sea Eye now. Farewell!"

Watching Shen Gongbao transform into a streak of emerald light and shoot eastward, Ge Xiaoyao let out a long sigh, feeling a sudden sense of relief for some reason. Jiang Ziya laughed, "I never expected that the demonic Shen Gongbao would meet such an end!"

Jiang Ziya stroked his beard and smiled, "All things in heaven and earth are governed by destiny. Even the mighty Shang Dynasty eventually met its end." He suddenly remembered something and asked Ge Xiaoyao, "Brother Ge, where is the Imperial Lotus Seed now?"

Ge Xiaoyao smiled, "It's alright to ask now. I entrusted the Imperial Lotus Seed to Yin San, and it's already hidden in an extremely secret place!"

Jiang Ziya nodded and smiled, "That's good. When the Shang Dynasty falls, the lotus seed should have taken root and sprouted!"

Ge Xiaoyao nodded and tried to call out to Yin San using telepathy, but there was no reply. He felt a chill and a sense of foreboding welled up inside him.

Just then, Nezha suddenly said, "Uncle Jiang, Uncle Ge, we won the Battle of Muye!"

Nezha's words interrupted Ge Xiaoyao's thoughts.

At this moment, countless Shang slave soldiers had already turned their weapons and attacked eastward. Jiang Ziya laughed loudly, lightly waving his apricot-yellow banner, and the 100,000-strong Xiqi army advanced like a tidal wave.

"The situation is settled, and it is time for me to report to my master and discuss the conferment of gods!" Jiang Ziya said.

Ge Xiaoyao nodded, though pleased, the sudden disappearance of Yin San cast a faint shadow over his heart.

Chapter 287 Capturing the Demon Fox (Part 1)

Chaoge City.

A scene of devastation.

The defected slave army broke through the city walls and rushed into the once prosperous Shang capital, Chaoge.

This was the place where they had been enslaved, where countless drops of blood, sweat, and tears had been shed, and where many of their brothers and sisters had died in humiliation.

The excitement of victory and the resentment of revenge overwhelmed them, turning them into demons of burning, killing, and looting.

The drama unfolds dramatically. When one side becomes the weak and is bullied, they will fight back; but once they succeed in their resistance, they inevitably retaliate in kind, even targeting innocent people.

Chaoge City is a scene of utter misery. The slaves' frenzied revenge has subjected the people of Chaoge to brutal abuse. They looted shops, murdered the wealthy, and raped countless women.

Pity their misfortune, anger at their lack of resistance. Ge Xiaoyao stood in the street, Pangu's giant axe in his hand, his eyes bloodshot.

He had just personally killed two slaves who attempted to rape an ordinary woman.

"Humanity..." He gritted his teeth, watching the Xiqi soldiers surge in, driving away the slave soldiers, controlling them one by one, and dragging them out of the city. A bitter smile finally appeared on his face.

Just two days ago, the Xiqi army was using these slave soldiers to break through Chaoge, and now they had suddenly become the enemy—how dramatic!

He smelled the stench of blood, slowly frowned, and ran towards the center of Chaoge City. There stood the most magnificent and splendid building in Chaoge City—the Deer Terrace.

By this time, the Deer Terrace had undergone several major renovations by the Nine-Tailed Fox and King Zhou, making it even more spectacular and grand. Eight hundred and eighty steps led to the top, reaching straight into the clouds.

Since King Zhou had taken refuge atop the Deer Terrace, and the last ten thousand-odd loyal soldiers of the Shang Dynasty held their ground below, neither the irrational slave army nor the Xiqi army, busy capturing slaves to stabilize the hearts of the people of Chaoge, had yet to easily attack it.

Although the Shang Dynasty had deep roots, its fate was sealed; capturing King Zhou at the Deer Terrace was only a matter of time. However, these slave soldiers were a motley crew of desperate men, numerous in number. If not handled properly, they would become bandits and rebels, a major threat in the future. Therefore, after much deliberation, Jiang Ziya ultimately chose to stabilize the hearts of the people of Chaoge first rather than attack the Deer Terrace.

Of course, this was Jiang Ziya's business, and Ge Xiaoyao didn't need to concern himself with it. What he needed to do was ascend the Deer Terrace, capture the Nine-Tailed Fox, and rescue Chu Yu. As for whether the Shang Dynasty fell or not, or whether King Zhou died or not, it didn't matter much to him.

Standing on the mud-brick roof of a house below the Deer Terrace, Ge Xiaoyao looked at the soldiers guarding the terrace, all clad in heavy armor, their faces filled with despair. He couldn't help but feel a pang of indescribable sorrow.

After all, a dynasty will eventually become history, and in doing so, a bloody price will inevitably be paid, with both good and bad among the villains. However, in the eyes of history, it's difficult to distinguish between good and bad; serving one's own master is never wrong.

"Forget it, let them fight the Xiqi army. Even if they die, at least it will be a tragic end!" Ge Xiaoyao sighed, abandoning his plan to storm the Deer Terrace alone. With a thought, the Pangu Giant Axe transformed into a starlight and was absorbed into his body.

He chanted an invisibility spell and silently leaped off the rooftop, passing through the dense ranks of guards and ascending the Deer Terrace.

"Damn! It's truly a case of 'when the tree falls, the monkeys scatter; when the wall collapses, everyone pushes it down'!" Upon entering the Deer Terrace, Ge Xiaoyao found it in complete disarray, with numerous maids busily looting valuables and fleeing in panic.

However, he immediately shook his head inwardly. These women, whom King Zhou and his ministers treated as playthings, would be splattered with blood and clashed with swords the moment they stepped off the Deer Terrace . How could those ten thousand Shang soldiers outside let them out?

Ge Xiaoyao dodged the weeping maids and went straight to the top of the Deer Terrace. That was where King Zhou and the Nine-Tailed Fox were.

"Beauty... Daji... what should I do?" King Zhou sat on the table, his hands covering his head. A wine pot on the table was overturned, but no wine spilled; it seemed he had drunk it all.

The Nine-Tailed Fox remained calm and said, "Your Majesty, don't worry, they can't break through..."

King Zhou suddenly raised his head, pointed at the Nine-Tailed Fox, and shouted, "What? You're still lying to me!" He walked a few steps to the window and pointed outside, "Look... Ji Fa's army has already breached Chaoge City!"

"Your Majesty... I'm telling you, don't panic, just accept your fate!" the nine-tailed fox said in a soft, seductive voice, stepping forward to support King Zhou. "No matter what, I'm here with you!"

King Zhou was stunned for a moment, then abruptly pushed the nine-tailed fox away, angrily shouting, "What use are you?!" He then laughed bitterly, "The Shang Dynasty is finished... the Shang Dynasty is finished, I'm abandoned by everyone... they're all gone, they're all gone..."

A hint of gloating mockery and a trace of coldness flashed in the nine-tailed fox's eyes, but she forced a smile and said, "Your Majesty... no, I'm still here!"

King Zhou looked at the nine-tailed fox, finally calming down, letting out a long sigh, and slumped heavily to the ground. "My beauty... we're finished..." he said, two tears welling up in his eyes.

"No, Your Majesty, you must pull yourself together!" the nine-tailed fox said hypocritically.

King Zhou shook his head absently, then suddenly said, "My beauty, you should leave too! Leave me... I'm finished... the Shang Dynasty is finished..."

The nine-tailed fox said, "I won't leave, even if I die, I'll stay with you, Your Majesty!"

King Zhou flew into a rage, cursing, "Get out! You vile woman!"

The nine-tailed fox was stunned.

King Zhou cursed, then slightly bowed, and shouted again, "It's all your fault, you've caused the downfall of my Shang Dynasty, you vile woman!"

A tear welled up in the nine-tailed fox's eyes, and she stepped forward softly, saying, "Your Majesty, what's wrong?"

King Zhou slapped the nine-tailed fox to the ground, roaring, "Get out of here now!" His gaze, however, fell on the candlestick.

When Ge Xiaoyao entered the Deer Terrace Hall, King Zhou had already lit the curtain in the hall with the candlestick, the red flames leaping in the thick smoke. The nine-tailed fox fell to the side, coldly watching King Zhou laugh wildly as he tore down the huge curtain and threw it into the fire.

"My dear minister, you've come too! Hahaha... I knew you were the most loyal to me!" King Zhou burst into another ear-piercing laugh upon seeing Ge Xiaoyao.

Ge Xiaoyao smiled coldly, ignoring King Zhou, and walked towards the Nine-Tailed Fox.

The Nine-Tailed Fox had obviously seen Ge Xiaoyao as well, and frowned, propping herself up as she said, "Ge Xiaoyao, what are you doing here?"

Ge Xiaoyao stopped, crossed his arms, and laughed, "Of course, I'm here to see you off!"

The Nine-Tailed Fox suddenly laughed wildly, her slender body leaping forward, transforming into a streak of white light, shooting off the Deer Terrace.

"Fox, where do you think you're going!" Ge Xiaoyao leaped up, chasing after her at incredible speed.

On the Deer Terrace, King Zhou stood there dumbfounded. The fire had already blazed fiercely...

※※※※※※

Outside Chaoge City, on Chaoge Mountain.

The Nine-Tailed Fox fled, and Ge Xiaoyao chased after her relentlessly.

Ge Xiaoyao condensed his divine power into several giant, gleaming axes, which he unleashed with a thunderous roar, shattering the layers of demonic mist laid down by the nine-tailed fox.

"Ge Xiaoyao... how did you suddenly become so powerful?!" The nine-tailed fox dodged two of the giant axes, her body swaying from the overwhelming divine power, and exclaimed in surprise.

Ge Xiaoyao laughed heartily, "Fox, three years have passed, and I, Ge Xiaoyao, am no longer the Ge Xiaoyao of yesteryear!" With that, another giant axe slashed out, "Fox... prepare to die!"

The nine-tailed fox sneered, "Boy... so what if you're powerful? You're too arrogant to want me dead!" She abruptly stopped in mid-air, spitting out a black bead the size of an egg.

Immediately, demonic energy filled the surroundings. The black demonic energy carried a strong smell of blood. Although the strands were quite scattered, they seemed to have great power. They actually entangled the giant axe of cold light that Ge Xiaoyao had unleashed, slowing down its speed. In less than a moment, the giant axe of cold light was completely destroyed.

"Hahaha..." The nine-tailed fox let out a wild laugh, "Ge Xiaoyao, this is the Black Blood Pearl I refined from the black blood of 30,000 slaves. It can corrupt immortal weapons and divine artifacts, and destroy the magic power of immortals and gods. Come on! Let's see if you, Ge Xiaoyao, are more powerful, or I, the nine-tailed fox , am more powerful!"

Seeing his proud Divine Light Axe being easily broken, Ge Xiaoyao's heart tightened. He immediately said, "Nine-tailed fox, even now, don't you understand what I mean? As long as you release Daji's original form, I will not fight you, and our grudges can be wiped clean!"

Ge Xiaoyao knew that this nine-tailed fox had refined such demonic power, and it would not be easy to capture her. If he were stronger than her, she might kill Chu Yu.

Unexpectedly, the nine-tailed fox sneered, "Ge Xiaoyao...you're dreaming! How could I bear to give up such a good body?"

Ge Xiaoyao sneered, then gritted his teeth and said, "Fine! Let's see how capable you are!" As he spoke, divine light suddenly shone from his body, and a huge, two-winged, dragon-headed monster phantom materialized from within him.

This was the spirit beast incarnation technique that Ge Xiaoyao had comprehended from the Beast Refining Demon Scripture, its power second only to the ferocious beast transformation. This monster phantom was the illusion of the Water Demon Dragon Beast, which he had created by combining the Dragon Platform Divine Beast, the Water Demon Beast, and the White-Headed Divine Eagle.

The real Water Demon Dragon Beast was kept by Ge Xiaoyao as his guardian spirit beast in the Immortal Healer's True Mansion at the bottom of Dragon Immortal Lake in Kunlun Mountain. He, however, took a wisp of its spirit and, with the help of the Beast Refining Demon Scripture, cultivated this illusionary clone.

This Water Demon Dragon Beast phantom was extremely ferocious, combined with Ge Xiaoyao's own divine power, and was like an immortal's clone technique, extremely powerful. Ge Xiaoyao rarely used his divine light axe unless in dire need. This time, seeing his divine light axe no match for the nine-tailed fox's black blood bead, he finally unleashed it.

The illusory form of the Water Demon Dragon Beast solidified upon encountering the wind, roaring fiercely as it flapped its wings and pounced on the nine-tailed fox, completely unfazed by the demonic aura emanating from the black blood bead

. It turned out that part of this Water Demon Dragon Beast was a Water Demon Beast Demon; being a demon, what fear did it have of demonic aura? Not only did it treat the black blood bead as nothing, but it even opened its massive maw and absorbed the overwhelming demonic aura into its belly.

Seeing this strange beast, which had actually destroyed its black blood spirit bead, which it had painstakingly refined for many years, the nine-tailed fox gritted its teeth, roared angrily, and unleashed a black banner that instantly expanded in mid-air, transforming into a black demon banner embroidered with a giant white fox.

The white fox had a ferocious face, its blood-red eyes wide open, seemingly possessing a soul-devouring demonic power. As the demon banner swayed in the wind, its limbs clawed and its long tail swayed, making it appear almost alive.

"What kind of demon is this?" Ge Xiaoyao sneered, urging his Water Demon Dragon Beast's illusory form to break through the demonic mist and reach for the demon banner.

Chapter 288 Capturing the Demon Fox (Part 2)

The nine-tailed demon fox grinned maliciously, suddenly exhaling a puff of black smoke onto the black demon banner.

The white fox on the black demon banner's blood-red eyes darted around, its limbs leaping, and it actually jumped off the banner, instantly transforming into nine ferocious foxes of various colors, baring their fangs and claws, directly attacking Ge Xiaoyao's Water Demon Dragon Beast and entangled with it.

"Haha, what is this?" The nine-tailed demon fox laughed wildly, "This is my Spirit Fox Banner, specifically designed to counter all kinds of spirit beasts. I'm afraid your monster is no match for it!"

Ge Xiaoyao used his divine power to urge the Water Demon Dragon Beast, opening its mouth to spew out a fire dragon, but it was extinguished by one of the blue foxes with black water.

The Water Demon Dragon Beast spewed another water arrow, but it was blocked by a red flame using a wooden shield.

The seven foxes surrounded the Water Demon Dragon Beast, unleashing a variety of demonic techniques. Although the Water Demon Dragon Beast was ferocious, it could only maintain a slight advantage over the seven foxes, and victory was not easy.

Just as the eight beasts were fighting, the Nine-Tailed Fox laughed heartily, and the Black Blood Bead was summoned again, spitting out another black blood arrow towards Ge Xiaoyao.

Seeing that the Water Demon Dragon Beast could not win, and fearing that his ancient divine weapon, the Pangu Giant Axe, would be contaminated by the black blood bead, Ge Xiaoyao immediately thought to himself, "In just a few years, I didn't expect the Nine-Tailed Fox to have cultivated to such a level!" Seeing the black blood arrow shooting towards him with incredible speed, he was about to dodge when he suddenly saw a wicked glint in the Nine-Tailed Fox's eyes, and he knew something was wrong. He retreated several feet, condensing his divine power into a divine power armor to protect himself.

The moment the divine power shield formed, the black blood arrow arrived, exploding with a loud bang into a sky full of blood mist, incredibly foul-smelling. Even his own divine light shield dimmed slightly.

"What a formidable fox demon!" Ge Xiaoyao sneered. Before the blood mist could dissipate, he leaped into the air, his divine power already radiating outwards, transforming into a seven-petaled golden lotus in mid-air. The dazzling golden light shot towards the nine-tailed fox demon. The

nine-tailed fox demon hurriedly activated its Black Blood Pearl to block the golden light aimed at it, but it was still forced back dozens of feet by the light, creating distance between itself and Ge Xiaoyao and the white fox demon banner.

To Ge Xiaoyao's surprise, the nine-tailed fox demon banner, though powerful, was actually formed from a wisp of its demonic body. The farther it was from its true form, the less powerful it became. Ge Xiaoyao's illusory clone of the Water Demon Dragon Beast, on the other hand, was drawn from the real Water Demon Dragon Beast's body and was unrestricted.

Under the piercing light of Ge Xiaoyao's golden lotus, the Water Demon Dragon Beast roared to the sky, displaying its divine might, and instantly tore the white and red fox demons to shreds.

The nine-tailed fox demon, still attached to the demon banner, groaned, a trickle of black blood seeping from her peach-blossom cheek, clearly indicating internal injuries.

In truth, in terms of cultivation, the nine-tailed fox demon was now far from being Ge Xiaoyao's match. Her ability to hold her own against him for so long was entirely due to the extremely evil Black Blood Bead and the White Fox Demon Banner she had crafted.

If Ge Xiaoyao hadn't driven her to a corner, she would never have used the life-extending White Fox Demon Banner. Now, instead of harming Ge Xiaoyao, she was injured by him. She took a deep breath, glared fiercely at Ge Xiaoyao, and gritted her teeth, saying, "Boy! What ruthless methods!"

Ge Xiaoyao hadn't expected that his Imperial Golden Lotus, with its seven petals, would possess such power, and the White Fox Demon Banner didn't seem particularly formidable. Overjoyed, he laughed, "Nine-tailed fox, won't you surrender?" He silently recited an incantation, activating the Water Demon Dragon Beast's clone to launch an even more ferocious attack. The

White Fox Demon Banner, already damaged, was now even more vulnerable to the Water Demon Dragon Beast's surging power. In the blink of an eye, two more foxes, one black and one yellow, were burned to charcoal by the Water Demon Dragon Beast's true fire.

Seeing the situation was dire, the Nine-tailed Fox gritted her teeth and spat out a mouthful of black blood. Instantly, the sky darkened, and a stench filled the air.

Ge Xiaoyao frowned sharply, instinctively protecting himself and holding his breath. At this moment, the Water Demon Dragon Beast was also hindered by the dark blood mist, allowing the Nine-Tailed Fox to retrieve its demon banner.

"Ge Xiaoyao, we'll settle this score another day!" The Nine-Tailed Fox sneered, its body transforming into a streak of black light as it fled towards the lower realm.

"Fox, trying to escape..." Ge Xiaoyao chuckled, his body instantly transforming into a golden light as he chased after the Nine-Tailed Fox.

Perhaps determined to escape, the Nine-Tailed Fox ran incredibly fast this time, vanishing without a trace in the blink of an eye.

When Ge Xiaoyao landed on the ground, the streets were filled with the chaos of fleeing soldiers; where was the Nine-Tailed Fox?

"Damn! No way! This fox is faster than me?" Ge Xiaoyao thought to himself, leaping into the air to search carefully. With his supreme profound skill, he could clearly see the location of demonic energy. If the Nine-Tailed Fox was hiding in the city, its demonic energy would naturally emanate from it.

"Alas, has the nine-tailed fox vanished into thin air?"

Ge Xiaoyao searched several streets but couldn't detect a trace of demonic energy, unable to find where the nine-tailed fox had gone.

After a long while, unable to find the nine-tailed fox's whereabouts, Ge Xiaoyao thought to himself, "Hmph, I'll spare you this time. I'll find you again another day. Anyway, you won't escape to the heavens!" With that thought, he flew out of the city to find Jiang Ziya and discuss capturing the nine-tailed fox.

This time, however, Ge Xiaoyao's prediction was wrong. In fact, the nine-tailed fox landed on the ground, intending to transform into a chaotic army to escape, but unexpectedly, in its panic, it stumbled into a misty light.

"Where is this place?" the nine-tailed fox wondered inwardly.

At this moment, a woman's voice drifted from within the misty light: "Nine-tailed, you've finally come!"

The nine-tailed fox's face changed drastically, and it cried out, "Your Majesty!" Gritting its teeth, it turned and left.

It turned out that the nine-tailed fox recognized the voice immediately; it was none other than the goddess Nuwa, who had sent her to the mortal realm. Since descending, she had been wreaking havoc on the Shang Dynasty as instructed by Nuwa. However, in her pursuit of demonic cultivation, she had far exceeded the number of killings permitted by Nuwa, and had even nearly killed Ge Xiaoyao, whom Nuwa had strictly forbidden her from harming. Knowing she had committed a capital offense, she panicked and tried to flee.

However, because the nine-tailed fox had entered the mist created by Nuwa, her demonic aura was concealed, so even though Ge Xiaoyao was close to her, he couldn't find her.

"Nine-tailed..." Nuwa's face was not visible in the mist, only her voice could be heard. Then, a red light shot out from the mist, instantly catching up with the nine-tailed fox, binding her, and dragging her back.

As the red light dissipated, the nine-tailed fox, knowing she was doomed, immediately knelt on the ground, weeping and begging for mercy: "Your Majesty, I know I was wrong! Please, Your Majesty, spare my life for my sincere loyalty!"

From within the mist, Nuwa's voice rang out: "Hmph, you wicked creature! Only now do you think to beg for mercy… too late!"

The nine-tailed fox kowtowed repeatedly, still pleading.

After a long while, a long sigh was heard, and Nuwa said: "Very well… considering your long service to me, obey my command and destroy King Zhou of Shang…"

"Thank you, Your Majesty! Thank you, Your Majesty!" the nine-tailed fox hurriedly kowtowed in gratitude.

Nuwa continued: "However, while you may escape death, you will not escape punishment. Since you have already created boundless calamity, my ten thousand years of cultivation cannot remain on you!"

The nine-tailed fox was greatly shocked and cried out: "Ah… no, Your Majesty…"

Nuwa did not answer. A sliver of red light flashed within the mist and gathered above the nine-tailed fox's head.

"Ah..." The nine-tailed fox felt dizzy and disoriented. When she regained her senses, she felt heavy and weak in her limbs. It was clear that Nuwa had taken back her cultivation.

At this moment, Nuwa said again, "Poor Su Daji, daughter of Su Hu of Jizhou, her body has already been violated by you, and even her last bit of spirit is on the verge of extinction! This is all your sin! However, since I ordered you to descend to the mortal realm to bewitch King Zhou, and you took advantage of her body, I am also at fault. Now I can only temporarily store her spirit in my five-colored stone essence, and after a hundred years of recuperation, I will send her to reincarnation, which can be considered as making amends for this sin!"

At this moment, a strange object, resembling a drop of water yet solidified, resembling jade yet overflowing, resembling crystal ice yet displaying five colors, flew out from the mist. It was the five-colored stone essence left over from Nuwa's mending of the sky. It flew to the top of the nine-tailed fox's head and emitted five-colored light.

At this moment, two points of white light suddenly appeared on the nine-tailed fox's spiritual platform and shot directly into the stone essence.

The two points of cold light gradually condensed within the multicolored crystal, transforming into an exquisitely beautiful woman who slowly bowed and said, "Thank you, Goddess Nuwa, for saving my life!"

The nine-tailed fox demon had lost all her millennia-old power, and the spirit of Daji she had possessed was also gone. She was in a daze, as if in a dream. Before she could fully awaken, the mist surrounding her gradually faded, and suddenly a battle cry rang out.

She abruptly looked up and saw two soldiers dressed in Xiqi armor, wielding long swords, charging towards her, shouting, "Little woman, in this war-torn land, why don't you hurry home and hide? Aren't you afraid of death?" "

Hmph... How dare mere mortals yell at me!" The nine-tailed fox demon, though fortunate to have survived Nuwa's rebuke, was still displeased. Ignoring the soldiers' good intentions, she exhaled a breath of demonic energy towards the faces of the two approaching soldiers.

Although she had lost her millennia-old magic, her demonic power was still far beyond what mortals could withstand. Moreover, this demonic aura was unleashed in her fury; it was thick, black, vicious, and incredibly foul-smelling.

The two soldiers, who had initially thought she was a kind-hearted commoner, never imagined she was a thousand-year-old fox demon. Caught off guard, they were struck directly by the demonic energy. One soldier immediately screamed and collapsed to the ground, while the other felt a burning sensation on his face and a tightness in his chest. He only managed to utter "Demon..." before also falling to the ground, rolling twice before losing consciousness.

"Hmph! Since I've become a demon again, I might as well devour the yang blood of these two living people to enhance my power!" The nine-tailed fox demon, having just lost her power and feeling weak and uncomfortable, was immediately seized by the sight of the two soldiers collapsing.

Seeing that no one was around, she took two steps forward. Grabbing one of the soldiers, she lifted him up and, with a few moments of demonic magic, stripped him of his armor, revealing his muscular chest.

"Haha... As expected of a soldier, full of yang blood, just to my liking!" She couldn't wait to bite the soldier's neck, ready to devour his blood.

Just then, a furious shout rang out from mid-air, "Demon Fox... Stop!"

Chapter 289 Capturing the Demon Fox (Part 2)

The nine-tailed demon fox was startled and immediately turned around, only to see a golden light shooting towards her from mid-air. She quickly leaped away, dodging the golden light, and transformed into a wisp of black smoke, about to escape.

The newcomer was none other than Ge Xiaoyao, who had returned. Originally, Ge Xiaoyao had thought that the nine-tailed demon fox had escaped somewhere, so he planned to go back to find Jiang Ziya first, and then find a way to capture her. However, before even leaving the city, he suddenly felt uneasy. He thought that this nine-tailed demon fox was extremely cunning and must have found a place where she could hide her demonic aura, deceiving him first before escaping.

He immediately turned back, standing in mid-air, intending to wait for the demon fox to "fall into his trap."

"Hehe... Old fox, even though you're a beauty, I can still catch you!" When Ge Xiaoyao saw the surge of demonic energy rising from the street, he was secretly delighted; he had guessed correctly.

However, when Ge Xiaoyao saw the nine-tailed fox exhale demonic energy that had incapacitated two soldiers and was about to devour their blood, he was instantly filled with rage and roared as he attacked.

The nine-tailed fox, hearing the roar, knew it was Ge Xiaoyao who had caught up with her. Having lost ten thousand years of cultivation, she knew she could no longer fight Ge Xiaoyao and desperately tried to escape. But how could Ge Xiaoyao allow her to escape again?

Ge Xiaoyao's golden light hadn't intended to harm the nine-tailed fox demon; he only wanted to startle her and save the unconscious soldier. However, the attack surprised him greatly. "Damn! How come this fox demon's power has weakened so much?"

Seeing the nine-tailed fox demon trying to escape, Ge Xiaoyao didn't have time to ponder the implications. He immediately gathered his divine power, raised his hand, and unleashed a seven-petaled golden lotus in mid-air, its golden light instantly enveloping the nine-tailed fox demon.

"Ah..." A scream rang out as the black smoke that the nine-tailed fox demon had transformed into was struck by a beam of golden light. Her true form reappeared, and she fell from mid-air, spitting out a jet of black blood.

Ge Xiaoyao's heart sank. He was somewhat surprised by the success of his attack and worried about injuring Chu Yu's original form. He immediately descended from mid-air, his divine power radiating outwards, firmly enveloping the severely injured and immobile nine-tailed fox demon.

"Ge Xiaoyao... I've finally fallen into your hands!" The nine-tailed fox demon smiled sadly, then sneered, saying sinisterly, "But you'll probably never be able to save your Daji!"

"Fox demon, enough nonsense, we'll see soon enough!" Ge Xiaoyao's heart trembled upon hearing the nine-tailed fox demon's words. In his heart, whether he could capture the nine-tailed fox demon or not was irrelevant; the most important thing was to save Chu Yu. However, he no longer believed the nine-tailed fox demon's words. He channeled his divine power, lifting the nine-tailed fox demon into the air and speeding away outside the city.

...

"Brother Ge, is that the nine-tailed fox demon?" Jiang Ziya asked, seeing the woman Ge Xiaoyao had abandoned.

Ge Xiaoyao smiled slightly and nodded, saying, "Brother Jiang, I still need your help to separate this fox spirit from its original Daji body!"

Jiang Ziya frowned slightly, glanced at the nine-tailed fox spirit, and said, "People say that beautiful women bring ruin to a country, but little do they know that it is the work of demons! Alright, I will try my magic!" As he spoke, he lightly made hand seals, closed his eyes to calm his mind, and entered a meditative state.

A beam of immortal light faintly emerged from Jiang Ziya's crown, gradually gathering like ethereal rosy clouds, forming a flower of light that enveloped the nine-tailed fox spirit.

"Alas! Although my strength is not inferior to Jiang Ziya's, in terms of basic cultivation, I am indeed inferior to him!" Seeing that Jiang Ziya had already activated his immortal light, Ge Xiaoyao understood that he was not far from ascending to immortality, and secretly admired him.

The immortal light, like a mysterious flower, enveloped the nine-tailed fox spirit's head, slowly rotating, the flowing white immortal energy drifting like white clouds, some of which had already seeped into the nine-tailed fox spirit's body.

The nine-tailed fox was already severely injured and knew it could not escape death. It gave up hope and sat motionless, allowing Jiang Ziya to cast his spell.

After a while, Jiang Ziya exhaled, flicked his fingers, and withdrew the celestial light before slowly opening his eyes, a hint of surprise in his expression.

"Alas… Brother Ge, this nine-tailed fox is indeed possessing a mortal body, but unfortunately, that mortal's consciousness is gone!" Jiang Ziya said.

"What?" Upon hearing Jiang Ziya's words, Ge Xiaoyao was taken aback. "How could this be?"

Jiang Ziya shook his head slightly. "I'm also a bit puzzled by this. According to common sense, if this fox demon hadn't devoured the spirit of the person it possessed, even if the spirit was imprisoned and damaged, it shouldn't be completely gone!"

Ge Xiaoyao's heart sank. "Could it be that Chu Yu's spirit was devoured by this fox demon?" He remembered what the nine-tailed fox demon had said and immediately shouted, "Fox demon, where did Daji's spirit go?"

The nine-tailed fox demon smiled bitterly, her eyes filled with a hint of gloating mockery. She gritted her teeth and said, "Ge Xiaoyao, Jiang Ziya, I told you, if you want Daji's spirit, you'll probably be empty-handed! Think about it, now that we're here, do you think I'd tell you?"

Ge Xiaoyao was furious and shouted, "Fox demon, you're courting death!" As he spoke, golden light flashed in his hand as he was about to strike the nine-tailed fox demon.

The nine-tailed fox laughed and widened its eyes, saying, "Ge Xiaoyao... you won't kill me if you still want to know the whereabouts of Daji's spirit!"

Ge Xiaoyao's golden divine power failed to strike. He turned to Jiang Ziya and asked, "Brother, what should we do?"

Jiang Ziya pondered for a moment and said, "Brother Ge, don't panic! Everything is preordained!"

"Damn it! What preordained?" Ge Xiaoyao cursed inwardly. He had cultivated all this way to rescue Chu Yu, but just when he was about to see the light, darkness suddenly returned. He couldn't tell if he was unlucky or lucky. But there was nothing he could do but leave it to fate.

"Alright!" Ge Xiaoyao sighed and asked, "Brother Jiang, what should we do with this nine-tailed fox demon?"

Jiang Ziya thought for a moment and said, "Naturally, kill her! She has harmed the loyal and virtuous, harmed the people, and committed countless atrocities. She cannot be allowed to live!"

Ge Xiaoyao nodded and asked, "If she dies, what will happen to Chu Yu?"

Jiang Ziya frowned but remained silent.

At this moment, the nine-tailed fox demon laughed loudly, "Jiang Ziya, Ge Xiaoyao, you can't kill me! As long as you haven't found Daji, you can't kill me!"

"Hmph! Fox demon, I won't kill you, but I'll never let you get away with this!" Ge Xiaoyao said hatefully.

"Ge Xiaoyao, Jiang Ziya... don't be hasty!"

Suddenly, a woman's voice came from afar.

Ge Xiaoyao and Jiang Ziya were both startled, wondering who the voice belonged to. Jiang Ziya raised his voice and asked, "Which fairy is this? Jiang Shang invites you. Please speak to me in person!"

"Hehe... I'm right here." In the central military tent, a woman had appeared out of nowhere.

The woman wore a phoenix coronet and a wedding robe, her face was like a peach blossom, her eyes were like autumn water, and she possessed no trace of earthly air; she was clearly either a fairy or a goddess.

"What brings you here, fairy?" Jiang Ziya asked.

The woman smiled sweetly and said, "Greetings, Fellow Daoist Ziya!" Turning to Ge Xiaoyao, she said, "Ge Xiaoyao, you needn't be anxious. Daji's spirit is unharmed, but she will need a hundred years before she can reincarnate!"

Ge Xiaoyao was secretly puzzled and asked, "I've never met you before, how do you know my name?"

The woman chuckled and said, "Let's not talk about that for now. Just trust me… Daji and you have several lifetimes of karmic connection, and one day you will become a loving couple. However, if you want to reincarnate and reconcile with her, you need to accomplish something significant!"

Although Ge Xiaoyao was suspicious of the woman's identity, he still asked, "What is it?"

The woman hesitated for a moment before slowly saying, "The Demon Realm is in trouble and needs your help."

"The Demon Realm?" Ge Xiaoyao was startled. The image of Princess Haina's beautiful face immediately flashed into his mind.

"Indeed!" The woman nodded slightly. "When the hundred-year tribulation is over, it will be the time for you and Daji to reunite!"

Jiang Ziya said, "Brother Ge, you haven't yet achieved true immortality. How can you go to the Demon Realm?"

The woman smiled and said, "Jiang Ziya, you have cultivated for many years. Haven't you realized that the path to immortality lies entirely in one's mind?"

Jiang Ziya suddenly seemed to have an epiphany and said, "Thank you for your guidance, Fairy. I understand!"

The woman smiled again and said, "That's good. Things here are settled. I should go now!" As she spoke, her body gradually disappeared.

Ge Xiaoyao hurriedly said, "Fairy, please wait. We still don't know your name."

At this moment, the woman had completely disappeared. In the void, a faint chant echoed. Ge Xiaoyao and Jiang Ziya listened carefully and only heard a couple of lines: "Five-colored stones refine five heavens... Looking towards the sky..."

Ge Xiaoyao's heart suddenly stirred, and he looked at Jiang Ziya with surprise.

Jiang Ziya seemed to have also realized the identity of this person and looked at Ge Xiaoyao as well.

The two exchanged a smile, and Ge Xiaoyao said, "Who do we have here? It turns out to be the Great Goddess Nuwa!"

Jiang Ziya said, "In that case, Brother Ge can rest assured!"

Ge Xiaoyao chuckled and said, "The calamity of a hundred years is only a hundred years. The matter of the Demon Realm is exactly what I've been worried about! Even if it wasn't the Great Goddess Nuwa who instructed me, I would still go to the rescue if the Demon Realm were in trouble!" As he spoke, he remembered the witch's pendant that Princess Haina had left him, and a strange emotion surged in his chest.

Jiang Ziya chuckled, then glanced at the nine-tailed fox demon and said, "In that case, after our army captures Chaoge and pacifies the people, we will slay the fox demon and, in accordance with Heaven's will, open the Investiture of the Gods. However, Brother Ge, in terms of overthrowing King Zhou of Shang and protecting our Chan Sect, you are also a great contributor. I wonder what kind of deity you would like to be?"

Ge Xiaoyao shook his head and smiled, "I have said before that I do not wish to be included in the Investiture of the Gods. Brother Jiang, please do not bring this up again!"

Jiang Ziya laughed, "Alright...alright...since that's the case, I will not force you on the matter of the Investiture of the Gods...Now that the overall situation is settled, we should also make good plans to reward the three armies and hold a victory banquet where everyone can drink to their hearts' content!"

"Haha...this is just to my liking, Ge Xiaoyao!" Ge Xiaoyao laughed, then thought for a moment and added, "Duo Mei, Ling Lei, and the others are still in Kunlun Mountain. I'll go and bring them here too, and we'll have a good time together! I won't worry about the Chaoge matter, brother!"

Chapter 290 I Am a Little God (Part 1)

The Demon Realm.

A pink continent, even the ocean was pink. The pink was soft and charming, carrying a unique fragrance of a woman.

"Ha...finally arrived, this must be the Demon Realm!" Ge Xiaoyao sighed and slowly flew over from mid-air.

He didn't see the city he had imagined; instead, he saw villages.

However, the architectural styles in those villages were a mix of Eastern elegance and Western fantasy, all revealing a gentle and tender appearance.

The Cangmang Daoist finally received the decree from the Heavenly God, explaining that the invasion of the Demon Realm was extremely severe, and the Heavenly Realm was in chaos, so he had to send a small contingent of divine soldiers to provide assistance. The celestial being also relayed Princess Haina's message, saying that she was waiting for Ge Xiaoyao in the Dark Sea of the Demon Realm.

With the Shang Dynasty destroyed, Ge Xiaoyao, without even being officially appointed a god, activated the Heavenly Lotus from Cangmang Mountain and ascended directly to the Demon Realm. Duo Mei, Yu Lu, Ling Lei, Dragon Girl Tianxin, Fox Girl Tianxin, and others, lacked sufficient cultivation to ascend the Heavenly Lotus. Moreover, Ge Xiaoyao also instructed them to assist Jiang Ziya in protecting the newly established Zhou Dynasty.

"If you wish to reincarnate and reconcile with her, you must accomplish a great feat!" Ge Xiaoyao recalled the words of the Goddess of Calamity, and looking at the seemingly endless continent, he sighed inwardly, "Save the Demon Realm? Do I possess such power?" However, his arrogant and unruly nature made him think, "Nothing is impossible. What is a mere Demon Realm? It's just defeating that Demon King named Roger!"

He looked up; the Demon Realm was extremely quiet, without a single person in sight. He couldn't help but think, "I wonder what that Demon King Roger looks like! Sigh, I should try to find Princess Haina and the others first!"

Ge Xiaoyao touched the Witch's Pendant in his pocket, remembering that Princess Haina had said the Witch's Pendant could command the entire witch world, so he figured he could use it to ask for directions. "Sigh, why isn't there a map in this witch world? I need to find the Dark Sea Grid."

He slowly descended to a village. There were only Western-style buildings there, with colorful spires and a tall building that looked like a church with a bell tower.

When he reached the bell tower, Ge Xiaoyao suddenly smelled a strong stench of blood, which made him frown.

"Damn, they're ruthless! They don't even spare women and children!" Ge Xiaoyao clenched his fists and stood in the square in front of the bell tower. On the square, dozens of women and children lay dead, looking like they had been dead for quite some time, their blood already congealed black.

Ge Xiaoyao suddenly remembered that this Demon Realm was only for women; men were not allowed to enter, except for that Dark Lord named Roger. "Could this all be the work of those demons? Hmph, if I encounter those demons, I'll make them pay!" Ge Xiaoyao said bitterly.

Ge Xiaoyao quickly circled the village; apart from the dozens of corpses in the small square, there were no other living people.

"Sigh, maybe I should go look elsewhere! It seems the situation in the Demon Realm is worse than I imagined; Princess Haina and the others are probably in no better shape!" Thinking this, Ge Xiaoyao sighed and gathered his divine power, preparing to fly elsewhere.

Just as his figure passed the top of the tower, he heard a loud shout, "Demon, where do you think you're going?"

Ge Xiaoyao turned around and saw three celestial soldiers clad in golden armor and wielding golden swords rushing towards him.

"Who's the demon?!" Ge Xiaoyao dodged a sword strike that slashed towards him. He was utterly disgusted and furious at the three men's indiscriminate attack.

One of the three, a tall, white-faced man with a long beard, frowned, sized up Ge Xiaoyao, and said to the other two, "Stop!" He then asked Ge Xiaoyao, "Who are you? What brings you to the Demon Realm?"

Ge Xiaoyao chuckled inwardly and retorted, "And who are you? What brings you to the Demon Realm?"

The man was taken aback, not expecting such an unassuming young man to be so impolite. However, judging from the way Ge Xiaoyao had dodged the sword light, he was certainly no weakling. Suppressing his anger, he politely replied, "We are divine soldiers under the command of the Golden Light General of the Heavenly Court, searching for the traces of those demons."

"Ah, so you are three divine soldiers, Ge Xiaoyao greets you!" Ge Xiaoyao had already recognized them as celestial soldiers, but he had been annoyed by their immediate attack, hence his rudeness. Seeing the divine soldiers' politeness, his anger subsided slightly, and he immediately smiled.

"Ge Xiaoyao?" The three divine soldiers looked at each other, all showing surprise, and suddenly asked, "You are the Ge Xiaoyao who refused to be deified?!"

Ge Xiaoyao smiled slightly, but inwardly sighed, "When did I, Ge Xiaoyao, become a celebrity? Even these lowly divine soldiers know my name?"

The man clasped his hands and laughed, "So it really is Brother Ge, I've heard so much about you! You are the first person in tens of thousands of years who doesn't want to be deified!"

Ge Xiaoyao smiled wryly. He had no interest in being deified or not; in any case, strength was the most important thing if he wanted to stand out.

"You're too kind... If I may ask, are you also gods? If I were to be deified, what position would I hold in the Heavenly Court?"

The three divine soldiers laughed. The pale-faced, long-bearded man said, "Of course we are gods! Brother Ge, please don't mind that although you are quite a prominent figure in the mortal realm, once you are truly deified, you will be just like us, a mere divine soldier!"

"What?" Ge Xiaoyao's eyes widened. "A mere divine soldier?"

"Yes..." the man laughed. "Of course, if you achieve great feats, you will rise rapidly, and you might even become a divine general or an emperor!"

Ge Xiaoyao shook his head inwardly. It seemed that not participating in the deification process was a lucky accident. With his personality, he would rather be a big fish in a small pond than a small fish in a big pond.

Perhaps sensing Ge Xiaoyao's disdain, the soldier chuckled again, "Of course, this is the Heavenly Realm. If we had the chance to descend to the mortal world, we would naturally be admired by thousands."

Ge Xiaoyao's mind finally calmed down a bit, and he chuckled, "Three brothers, you don't know how many people there are until you go to the mortal world, and you don't know how many gods there are until you go to the Heavenly Realm. Is that a fair interpretation?"

The three soldiers burst into laughter, and the pale-faced, long-bearded man laughed, "Brother Ge is indeed a clever and interesting person! That's exactly what I mean, that's exactly what I mean!"

"Damn it! What do you mean... This is so damn boring!" Ge Xiaoyao cursed inwardly, but his face didn't show a trace of displeasure. "Now I finally understand why Sun Wukong, who was known as the Great Sage Equal to Heaven, only became a stable boy in Heaven! It turns out that's why! It seems that Zhu Bajie's Marshal Tianpeng and Sha Wujing's Curtain-Raising General weren't important figures in Heaven either!"

The white-faced soldier seemed to suddenly remember something, and with a "Huh," asked, "Brother Ge, have you just arrived here?"

Ge Xiaoyao nodded, still thinking about Sun Wukong.

The soldier continued, "Brother Ge, have you seen any trace of the demons?"

Ge Xiaoyao shook his head, thinking to himself, "Damn it, I've only encountered dozens of people since arriving in this Demon Realm, and only the three of you are alive!"

The three soldiers nodded, exchanged glances, and said, "Since that's the case, then it must be. It seems those demons have already gone far away. Let's go investigate elsewhere! Brother Ge, where are you going?"

Ge Xiaoyao remembered that he was going to the Dark Sea Grid, and was worried about not knowing the direction, so he replied, "The Dark Sea Grid, do you three brothers know it?"

"I know, I know!" the pale-faced man said. "The Dark Sea's Edge is located in the deep western sea, the only place in this Demon Realm untouched by demons. May I ask what Brother Ge is going there for?"

Ge Xiaoyao smiled and said, "Nothing much, just looking for someone!" He didn't want to reveal his relationship with Princess Haina, so he changed the subject, saying, "This Demon Realm has already been largely invaded by demons, so why are you three brothers still venturing into this dangerous place?"

The pale-faced soldier chuckled and said, "Brother Ge, you don't know this, although those demons are powerful, they are far from enough to conquer this Demon Realm. They are only invading the Demon Realm, killing..." "We've only captured people. Most of the people on this Demon Realm continent have already migrated to the Dark Sea. We need to find those who haven't migrated yet, take them to the Dark Sea to hide, and also investigate the movements of those demons so we can gather divine troops to eliminate them."

Ge Xiaoyao then understood why these villages were deserted. He nodded and said, "Alright, thank you for your guidance, brothers. It's fate that we met today. May I ask your esteemed names? I hope to pay you a visit sometime."

The white-faced soldier said, "Brother Ge, you're too kind. My name is Lü Dongbin, and these two are Zhang Guolao and Lan Caihe!"

"Ah?" Ge Xiaoyao almost exclaimed in surprise, thinking to himself, "Aren't these the Eight Immortals?"

In fact, Ge Xiaoyao didn't know that these three were later among the Eight Immortals, but that was two thousand years later when they descended to the mortal realm to reincarnate and cultivate again. Right now, they were just lowly soldiers in this celestial realm.

Seeing Ge Xiaoyao's surprised expression, the three men were somewhat puzzled. The tall and thin Lan Caihe asked, "Brother Ge, what's wrong?"

Ge Xiaoyao realized he had been a bit out of line and quickly shook his head, laughing, "Nothing, nothing... I've just heard so much about you, and meeting you today is a bit of a surprise!"

With that, the four of them burst into laughter.

Lü Dongbin thought for a moment, then took out a gold token from his waist and handed it to Ge Xiaoyao, saying, "Brother Ge, in this Demon Realm, demons are rampant and extremely powerful. If you encounter any demons on your way to the Dark Sea, you can hold this gold token and recite 'Heavenly Sickness' three times, and the three of us brothers will come to your aid!"

Although Ge Xiaoyao wasn't afraid of any demons, he thought to himself, "Better safe than sorry. I'm not familiar with the Demon Realm, so it would be good if they could help me if something unexpected happens!" He accepted the gold token and thanked them.

Lü Dongbin clasped his hands and smiled, "Brother Ge, we still have military orders to fulfill, so we'll take our leave now! We'll meet again!"

Ge Xiaoyao smiled and said, "Take care, my three brothers

!" The three of them said in unison, "Take care, Brother Ge!"

After bidding each other farewell, the three departed for the Eastern Continent. Ge Xiaoyao watched their figures disappear into the distance behind the pink mountain range before turning back, toying with the golden token, and shaking his head to himself, "Heh, I never thought that a great immortal in the mortal realm was merely a minor god in the celestial realm! I wonder what kind of god Erlang Shen was appointed to, was he just a lowly soldier in the divine realm?"

Chapter 291 I Am a Minor God (Part 2)

To the west of the pink female demon continent lies a boundless deep sea.

The seawater seems to have been enchanted, turning pink.

Only the reefs exposed above the water, either deep red or bright yellow, add many bright colors to this pink sea.

To be honest, Ge Xiaoyao had never seen such a beautiful ocean. It was not like the deep blue and cold ocean of the mortal realm, nor did it have the desolate grandeur of howling winds. It was like a virtuous woman with a broad mind, forever looking down on this world with kindness, protecting all the kind people who come here.

"Demons, if I, Ge Xiaoyao, were to encounter you, I would never forgive you!" Ge Xiaoyao stood on the beach, gazing at a patch of

white snow in the deepest part of the ocean. The Dark Sea's Edge was located on a white stone island deep within that ocean.

When women are in a vulnerable position, any man with a sense of justice will stand up for them, for it is their honor as men.

Princess Haina of the Demon Realm led Bing'er and others to the Heavenly Court to seek reinforcements. The Heavenly Emperor dispatched a hundred-strong divine army to the Demon Realm to help them resist the Demon King Rogers. The involvement of the Eastern Heavenly Court shattered the Demon King Rogers' ambition to completely conquer the Demon Realm, forcing him to resort to murder, robbery, and the plunder of supplies and maids.

The hundred-strong divine army, along with the female demon warriors of the Demon Realm, could not protect all the people of the vast continent. Therefore, Princess Haina decided to gather all the people on the enormous white stone island deep in the Western Sea—the Dark Sea's Edge. After the divine soldiers and the female demon warriors had defeated the Demon King, they would be moved back to the mainland.

Princess Haina's tactic proved effective, immediately depriving Demon King Rogers of his place to run rampant. He was forced to traverse the entire Demon Realm, searching for his subjects who hadn't yet moved into the Dark Sea, while simultaneously concentrating his forces to plan an attack on the Dark Sea.

Just as Ge Xiaoyao was preparing to gather his strength to cross the sea, a few rays of light flashed across the horizon, accompanied by a deafening roar.

Ge Xiaoyao looked in that direction and saw three figures flying from the east. Two of them swayed from side to side as they flew, seemingly struggling to stay afloat, clearly injured. The only uninjured figure brandished his gleaming sword, continuously unleashing streaks of sword light to cover the other two as they flew towards the sea.

Behind them, a two-horned, blood-eyed minotaur-like monster and a monk in a blood-red robe were in pursuit, each unleashing a streak of crimson fire as they attacked the three ahead.

"Heavenly soldiers?" Ge Xiaoyao frowned slightly. Judging from the clothing of the three men in front, all were dressed in silver robes and armor, wielding silver swords, clearly divine soldiers sent by the Heavenly Court. The two behind, judging by their ferocious appearances, were obviously no good either.

"Haha, aren't you divine soldiers? Weren't you here to annihilate me? Why are you running away!" The red-robed Buddha laughed wildly, his sinister voice carrying far.

The minotaur also laughed loudly, "Silver-armored divine soldiers, I think you're silver-armored deserters!"

The two drew closer, hurling all sorts of extremely offensive insults.

One of the three silver-armored soldiers said, "Captain, I can't take it anymore! I'll fight them to the death!"

"Sword Tiger, Crimson Tiger, no, we must return to the Dark Sea Grid!" The only uninjured silver-armored divine soldier unleashed a sword beam, forcing back a fire serpent that was attacking the three, and roared.

"Captain!" the warrior cried urgently.

The captain of the silver-armored divine soldiers said, "This is a military order!"

The two wounded silver-armored warriors fell silent, gritting their teeth and flying forward with all their might.

The captain didn't turn back, gathering his divine power and shouting, "Demon Adu Na, Shakyamuni Buddha, don't be so smug! I've already sent a message; our reinforcements will arrive soon!"

The minotaur Adu Na laughed wildly, "Good! But I think you won't be able to wait for them!"

In the blink of an eye, the five of them had flown to the seaside.

The minotaur and Shakyamuni Buddha somersaulted in mid-air, quickly passing the three exhausted silver-armored divine soldiers and blocking their path at the seaside. "Silver-armored divine soldiers, come and die for your Adu grandpa!" he laughed wildly.

The three silver-armored divine soldiers stopped, coldly looking at the two demons who had blocked their way.

Sword Tiger and Red Tiger glared angrily, about to rush forward to fight, but were stopped.

"Today, my three brothers, the Three Tigers, will fight these two demons to the death, even if it means we are both seriously injured!" the silver-armored divine soldier captain said in a deep voice.

However, these words were interpreted differently by the two silver-armored warriors, Sword Tiger and Crimson Tiger. It turned out that while speaking openly, the silver-armored divine soldier captain also used divine sense to transmit his voice, "I'll hold them off. You

two immediately pass through and return to the Dark Sea Grid!" Sword Tiger and Crimson Tiger were slightly taken aback, pondered for a moment, then exchanged a glance and nodded.

Although there were only two of them, Minotaur Adu Na and Evil Buddha Shakya, their cultivation was significantly stronger than that of the three Silver-Armored Divine Soldiers. They believed victory was assured. Evil Buddha Shakya chuckled, "Mutual destruction? Hmph… White Tiger, you wish! Even the Great Sacrifice Curse of those female demon warriors couldn't harm Grandpa Evil Buddha. Do you have an even more powerful technique?"

Ge Xiaoyao had witnessed the power of the Female Demon Warriors' Great Sacrifice Curse; even with the true power of Qing Shui, the Grandmaster-level Daoist of Cangmang Mountain, he couldn't withstand it and was still severely injured. Since this Evil Buddha didn't seem to care at all, his cultivation must be extremely profound.

The Silver-Armored Divine Soldier Captain, White Tiger, coldly snorted and used divine sense to transmit his voice to Sword Tiger and Red Tiger: "Activate!"

The three suddenly activated, their three silver swords flashing coldly, instantly forming a sharp and dense net of sword energy in mid-air, enveloping Adu Na and Evil Buddha Shakya. The three swords, each from a different direction, seemed to have covered every possible escape route for the two. Therefore, they had no choice but to meet them head-on.

Since they were silver-armored divine soldiers, their divine strength was naturally considerable, and their all-out attack truly possessed the power to perish together with the two demons!

"Hmph, courting death!" The minotaur, Adu, unleashed a beam of red light, which exploded into extremely scorching true fire power, mixed with the might of the Nine Heavens Evil Thunder, instantly colliding with the sky-filling sword energy.

At this moment, the evil Buddha Shakyamuni also summoned a string of blood-red prayer beads, scattered before him, resembling more than ten ferocious blood-red eyes, sending chills down one's spine at a glance. He chuckled wildly, and each of those ten-odd blood-red eyes emitted a crimson light, intertwining with the incoming cold sword energy.

With a series of crackling sounds, White Tiger, Sword Tiger, and Red Tiger leaped through the air. The sword light had been shattered by the two demons, but taking advantage of the opportunity, the three of them passed through the demons and stepped onto the pink sea of blue.

"Hmph... Dare to escape? Let's see if Grandpa Buddha's Blood Eye Token will allow it!" Seven of the dozen or so blood eyes in front of the Evil Buddha Shakyamuni immediately flew out, shooting at the three of them.

The Minotaur Adu also raised his hand and threw a fireball, directly at White Tiger.

"Sword Tiger, Red Tiger, run!" White Tiger turned around with his sword and knocked away a blood eye token.

Sword Tiger and Red Tiger exchanged a glance and nodded to each other, then suddenly shouted at the same time, "Big brother, run! We'll meet again in the next life!" White

Tiger was stunned, only to see two white shadows flash before his eyes. A sense of foreboding flashed through his heart, and he hurriedly shouted, "Don't..."

Before he could react, White Tiger realized what was happening.

Ignoring the Blood Eye Token and the True Fireballs that struck their bodies, Sword Tiger and Crimson Tiger charged recklessly towards the Minotaur Adona and the Evil Buddha Shakyamuni, their faces cold and resolute…

“Evil Buddha, retreat! These two brats are courting death!” Before Adona could finish speaking, Sword Tiger and Crimson Tiger laughed loudly and resolutely detonated their own primordial spirits. Two loud booms followed, and blood and flesh flew everywhere.

“Sword Tiger, Crimson Tiger!” White Tiger cried out in alarm, tears welling in her eyes.

The Minotaur Adona noticed first and hastily retreated, but the power of Crimson Tiger and Sword Tiger’s self-destruction of their primordial spirits was immense. Adona and the Evil Buddha were both blasted away, each spitting out a mouthful of blood.

They were already at the Heavenly Demon level, and Sword Tiger and Crimson Tiger, two mere minor gods, were naturally no match for them. Even with their self-destruction of their primordial spirits, they couldn’t perish together with them. However, they had already resolved to sacrifice themselves to injure these two demons and ensure White Tiger’s return to the Dark Sea.

Self-destruction of one's primordial spirit is an extremely vicious method. Although incredibly powerful, it means utter annihilation. If one dies in battle, their primordial spirit can escape and be reincarnated. But after self-destruction, there is absolutely no hope of rebirth. Therefore, no one would willingly self-destruct their primordial spirit unless absolutely necessary.

Tears welled in White Tiger's eyes as he glared hatefully at Adu Na and Xie Fo, who were both spitting blood. He bit his lower lip, blood seeping out, and finally turned and flew rapidly into the deep sea.

"Boy, do you think you can escape like this?" Xie Fo muttered. He glanced at Adu Na, and the two of them gathered their demonic power and gave chase, determined to kill White Tiger. Although they were severely injured by Red Tiger and Sword Tiger's self-destruction of their primordial spirits, they were confident in their high cultivation and didn't wait to recover using their demonic arts; they wanted to capture White Tiger first.

However, their flying speed had slowed considerably, and seeing that they could no longer catch up with the White Tiger, they could only sigh and turn around to leave, only to find that there was a person standing in front of them.

This person was dressed in mortal clothes, not tall, and unremarkable in appearance, with a faint wicked smile on his face, his arms crossed as if extremely arrogant.

Both of them were startled. At this moment, they were both seriously injured and could not tell the extent of the young man's cultivation. They were immediately alarmed, thinking that this kid's cultivation was probably no less than their own. However, they were then puzzled. When did such a person appear in the Demon Realm? If he was reinforcements from the Heavenly Court, they had never seen him before.

"Boy, what are you doing here? How dare you block my way? Are you tired of living?" A Du shouted. Ge Xiaoyao

still smiled calmly but did not answer.

"Boy, what exactly do you want?" Xie Fo also asked. He was quite shrewd. He couldn't figure out Ge Xiaoyao's background and didn't dare to make a move rashly, so he asked.

Ge Xiaoyao laughed and said, "The King of Hell has come to claim my life!"

"What... King of Hell?" A'du Na laughed and said, "That depends on your ability. Anyway, the previous ten Kings of Hell all swore to capture me, but none of them succeeded."

Ge Xiaoyao was just saying it casually, intending to scare them, but the two of them didn't buy it.

Ge Xiaoyao laughed and said, "Very well, I, the King of Hell, govern life and death under heaven. I have never heard of anyone who can escape the Three Realms! If you really have this ability, as long as you defeat me, I will allow you to live for another thousand years."

The evil Buddha suddenly said, "A'du Na, why waste time talking to him? A mere King of Hell dares to challenge us Heavenly Demons!" As he spoke, his Buddha Blood Eyes instantly shot out, heading straight for Ge Xiaoyao.

"A petty trick, you dare to show off?" Ge Xiaoyao smiled disdainfully, seemingly very easily unleashing a divine power that swept away all ten-odd Buddha Blood Eyes.

Chapter 292 I Am a Little God (Part 2)

Ge Xiaoyao's divine power stirred the blood-red eyes of the Evil Buddha, which rose high above the sea.

The Evil Buddha Shakyamuni's expression suddenly changed, not expecting Ge Xiaoyao's divine power to be so domineering. He immediately shouted, "Good boy, come again!" As he spoke, he took a deep breath, formed a Sanskrit mudra with his hands, and his whole body faintly revealed a black and red light. A circular Sanskrit light seal slowly formed in front of his hands. "Buddha and Demon Return Seal! Go..."

Ge Xiaoyao sneered, and the divine power that had stirred the blood-red eyes suddenly erupted. With a series of loud bangs, all the Buddha's blood-red eyes exploded, and the bloody smell immediately filled the sea.

At this moment, the Evil Buddha Shakyamuni's Buddha and Demon Return Seal had also pressed down in front of Ge Xiaoyao. Ge Xiaoyao suddenly felt an immense suction force surging towards him, drawing his divine power into the demonic talisman within the seal.

"Could this broken seal actually absorb divine power?" Ge Xiaoyao muttered to himself, immediately suppressing his divine power to prevent it from being absorbed by the Buddha-Demon Union Seal.

The Evil Buddha let out a burst of wild laughter, "Boy, you're smart! This time, I'll see just how capable you are!"

This Buddha-Demon Union Seal was half demonic and half real magic weapon power. The two worked together to specifically absorb the enemy's divine power, making it incredibly powerful. No matter how powerful a deity was, if they were caught off guard and absorbed by this Buddha-Demon Union Seal, they would not be able to break free until their divine power was exhausted and they died.

Although Ge Xiaoyao was shocked, he still smiled and said, "Old bald donkey, don't think this damn seal can defeat your little grandpa, humph!"

Although his divine power was being absorbed by the Buddha-Demon Union Seal and constantly draining away, his magic weapon was still intact. He chanted a secret incantation, and a cold light burst forth—it was the Pangu Axe that opened the heavens.

The Pangu Axe, now connected to Ge Xiaoyao's will, flashed with cold light before Ge Xiaoyao could even activate it, striking the Buddha-Demon Reunion Seal with lightning speed.

The Pangu Axe was an ancient divine weapon; although the Buddha-Demon Reunion Seal was powerful, it was no match for it. A crisp sound of iron breaking and stone shattering rang out as the Buddha-Demon Reunion Seal was cleaved in two by the Pangu Axe. The demonic energy swirled, rendering the magical artifact useless. The

Evil Buddha Shakyamuni's face suddenly changed color, and he roared, "Boy, return my Reunion Seal!" With a thrust of his palms, his entire body transformed into a black Buddha, pressing down on Ge Xiaoyao. The immense demonic energy stirred up huge waves, the sound reverberating for miles.

Ge Xiaoyao hadn't expected the Evil Buddha to suddenly attack; still immersed in the joy of slaying the Buddha-Demon Reunion Seal, he didn't notice a flash of black light before his eyes, and the evil black Buddha had already struck.

"Brother Ge... watch out!" A loud cry rang out, and several golden beams shot forth, striking the black Buddha just in front of Ge Xiaoyao.

The evil Buddha Shakyamuni cried out in agony, staggering backward and spitting out blood, clearly injured by the golden light.

Where the golden light faded, three nimble golden swords floated in mid-air.

"Brother Ge, are you alright?" Three golden figures landed beside Ge Xiaoyao.

Ge Xiaoyao chuckled and clasped his hands in thanks, "I'm fine, I'm fine, thank you for your help, Brother Lü!"

These three were none other than Lü Dongbin, Lan Caihe, and Zhang Guolao, whom Ge Xiaoyao had met when he first entered the Demon Realm. They had received a distress call from the silver-armored divine weapon, White Tiger, and rushed here immediately, only to be a step too late. However, they had inadvertently saved Ge Xiaoyao from his predicament.

Both the Minotaur Adu Na and the Evil Buddha were injured. Seeing that this unknown youth possessed unfathomable cultivation and unpredictable attacks, and with three golden-armored soldiers appearing, they exchanged glances and prepared to flee.

Lü Dongbin had already seen through their intentions. He gestured, and the three quickly spread out, surrounding the two.

"Heh heh... golden-armored soldiers, are you going to gang up on us?" the Minotaur Adu Na mocked.

"Hmph... of course we wouldn't gang up on you. We're just doing this to prevent you from escaping!" Lü Dongbin replied.

"Alright... who will go first?" The Minotaur waved his hand, already gripping a black iron fork.

Lü Dongbin said, "I'll go first!" He raised his golden sword, ready to fight the Minotaur.

Seeing this, Ge Xiaoyao chuckled inwardly, "How foolish are these Heavenly soldiers? What's the point of talking about fairness with these demons?" However, he only chuckled inwardly and didn't say it aloud. Actually, he wanted to see just how capable Lü Dongbin really was.

In truth, the Minotaur was a Heavenly Demon, while Lü Dongbin was merely a minor deity. Although Adu was injured, a one-on-one fight with Lü Dongbin wouldn't be a problem.

The two fought for two rounds before Lü Dongbin, caught off guard, was kicked by the Minotaur Adu and fell with a muffled groan.

Lan Caihe and Zhang Guolao were about to rush in, but the Minotaur Adu exchanged a glance with the Evil Buddha Shakya, and the two swiftly slipped away through the gap Lü Dongbin had created.

"Heh heh... you think you can just run away after injuring someone? Do you think it's that easy?" Ge Xiaoyao, holding the Pangu Axe, stood firmly in front of the two.

"A good dog doesn't block the way, you brat..." Adu cursed angrily.

"A barking dog doesn't bite... I think this bull's head should be replaced with a dog's head!" Ge Xiaoyao retorted calmly.

At this moment, Lan Caihe and Zhang Guolao had already helped Lü Dongbin up and were chasing after him with gritted teeth.

Adu Na and the Evil Buddha Shijia exchanged a glance, and the two shouted at the same time, unleashing two bursts of black light, with demonic power overflowing the sky, rushing towards Ge Xiaoyao, intending to knock him away in one move and escape from this place.

Ge Xiaoyao smiled coldly, and the Pangu Giant Axe in his hand swung out with a roar, instantly transforming into dozens of cold light giant axes, cutting the black light into pieces.

"Ah?" The Evil Buddha Shijia took several steps back and exclaimed in surprise.

The bull-headed monster also frowned, not expecting Ge Xiaoyao to use such a move.

It turned out that none of the dozens of cold light giant axes that Ge Xiaoyao conjured were illusions, but were all real Pangu Giant Axes, catching the two demons off guard. They were hit by the axe light, and their old wounds were reopened.

Ge Xiaoyao crossed his arms and laughed, "How about it? Still running or not?"

The Evil Buddha Shakya and the Minotaur Adu muttered, "Kid! You're ruthless..." Suddenly, they turned and charged at Lan Caihe, who was rushing towards them.

Ge Xiaoyao cursed, "What are you two, bullying one!" He hurled his giant axe, which transformed into a shower of cold light, striking the two demons in the back.

Ge Xiaoyao's attack was perfectly timed; it didn't kill them, but it inflicted severe internal injuries on each of them, leaving them lying on the ground, unable to move.

Lu Dongbin and his two companions, now powerless to retaliate against the two demons, smiled at Ge Xiaoyao and said, "I never expected Brother Ge to possess such divine strength at such a young age! I admire you!"

Ge Xiaoyao laughed and said, "You three are too kind. Brother Lu, why don't you take these two demons back with you? You can claim credit with the Heavenly Court later!"

Lu Dongbin said, "Brother Ge, what are you saying? You captured the Minotaur and the Evil Buddha alive; the credit should rightfully be yours!"

Ge Xiaoyao shook his head and laughed, "Since I have no intention of becoming a god, what use is this empty honor? You three should take it and claim credit!" As

the four were declining, several cold lights shot over from afar. Ge Xiaobin and the others looked closely and saw that they were seven divine soldiers clad in silver armor. The leader was tall, with a white face and no beard, and his silver armor was different from the others, adorned with golden dragon patterns.

Lu Dongbin and his companions immediately stepped forward and bowed, saying, "Golden-Armored Divine Soldiers Lu Dongbin, Zhang Guolao, and Lan Caihe greet Silver-Light Divine General."

Although the reinforcements Princess Haina had summoned from the Heavenly Realm were a single force, they actually had two leaders: Golden-Light Divine General Jin Cheng and Silver-Light Divine General Zuo Shen. Each led fifty golden and fifty silver divine soldiers. While nominally a unit, they secretly vied for credit.

When Lu Dongbin and the others stepped forward to pay their respects, Silver-Light Divine General Zuo Shen merely gave a cold snort, his expression extremely arrogant, which made Ge Xiaoyao very uncomfortable.

"Lu Dongbin," Zuo Shen said sarcastically, "we discovered the Minotaur Adu Na and the Evil Buddha Shakya first, and our Sword Tiger and Red Tiger risked their lives, even self-destructing their primordial spirits, to injure them. Now I wish to take them away, is that alright?"

Lan Caihe and Zhang Guolao's faces suddenly turned angry. They were about to speak when Lü Dongbin stopped them with a look, chuckling, "Since that's the case, then we'll have to trouble General Silver Light! Actually, Brother Ge also deserves credit for capturing these two demons."

General Silver Light glanced arrogantly at Ge Xiaoyao, secretly amazed. How could this young man possess such profound cultivation? He stroked his chin, pondered for a moment, and said, "Ge Xiaoyao... is that the boy who refused to be conferred a godhood?"

Ge Xiaoyao smiled slightly, turned his head, and remained silent. He was inwardly displeased by the man's disdain and arrogance; he couldn't stand such people and didn't bother talking to him.

One of the soldiers in the Silver Light army shouted, "Boy, are you mute? Didn't you hear the general asking you a question?"

Ge Xiaoyao turned to Lü Dongbin and said, "Brother Lü, my hearing isn't good. Is there a dog barking?"

"Boy, are you looking for death?!" the soldier shouted again.

Ge Xiaoyao asked again, "Brother Lü, I'm new to this Demon Realm, and I didn't expect the dogs there to be so ferocious! I was bitten by a dog when I was little, and I'm terrified of dogs. Just hearing this dog bark makes me scared!"

The Silver Light General Zuo Shen was now furious, his face ashen. He shouted at his men, "Shut up!" He then glared at Ge Xiaoyao and said fiercely, "Boy, you've got guts... We'll meet again another day!"

Lü Dongbin laughed, "General, don't be angry. His hearing really isn't good!"

At this moment, some Silver Light Divine Soldiers rushed over and tied up the Minotaur A Du Na and the Evil Buddha. The Silver Light General Zuo Shen ignored Lü Dongbin, glared at Ge Xiaoyao, and coldly said, "Let's go..." They

came and went in a hurry; several flashes of cold light, and the Silver Light Divine Soldiers vanished without a trace.

"Brother, how can we let them get this credit for nothing?" Lan Caihe and Zhang Guolao said to Lü Dongbin.

Lü Dongbin laughed, "What can we do if we don't give in? Are we going to turn against them?"

Lan Caihe and Zhang Guolao both sighed heavily. They knew that if they really turned against them, they would be the ones who suffered. Zhang Guolao clenched his fists and said hatefully, "What kind of divine generals are they! They're just damned bandits!"

Ge Xiaoyao chuckled and said, "I just said, they're just a bunch of dogs."

All three laughed. Lü Dongbin laughed and said, "Brother Ge, to be honest, I was really worried for you just now! That Zuo Shen is not someone to be trifled with!"

Ge Xiaoyao said disdainfully, "What is he anyway!"

Lü Dongbin sighed and said, "Brother Ge... you have to be careful in the future. That Zuo Shen definitely holds a grudge against you this time. He's treacherous and only knows how to bully us little gods..."

"Thank you, Brother Lü. I, Ge Xiaoyao, am not afraid of him!" Ge Xiaoyao laughed. “Brother Lü, one day I’ll teach him a lesson and give us little gods a chance to vent our anger!”

“Good! Brother Ge, you have guts!” Lü Dongbin praised. “Anyway, we’re safe now, why don’t we go back to the Dark Sea Grid together?”

Ge Xiaoyao hurriedly said, “Thank you, Brother Lü, I was just afraid of finding the Dark Sea Grid!”

The four of them laughed and each spread their forms, flying towards the deep sea.
