My Policewoman Lover [Complete] - 29

The first chapter of the finale of the Seven Fairies version: A Cunning Merchant

in the North. Autumn in the North is a season of restraint and subtlety. The vast sky is higher than the sun, and the wind blows silently, leaving a light and carefree feeling, like the color of a clear blue sky over a sea. Even the concrete jungle is calm and gentle

in its presence. Behind the Armed Police Detachment building in S City, in front of Duoduo Auto Repair Shop, Deputy Manager Shu Chi was inspecting a yellow Renault Scenic. A woman waited anxiously beside him.

"Master, how is it?" the woman asked impatiently.

"The transmission is broken and needs to be replaced," Shu Chi said, looking up.

"Then hurry up and replace it, I have other things to do!"

"This..." Shu Chi seemed hesitant, glanced at her car, and turned back, saying, "Brother Liu, come out for a moment!"

"Coming right away!" a voice came from inside the repair shop.

The woman didn't understand why Shu Chi was calling for someone and looked curiously into the shop. Inside, a car was being repaired, and a man crawled out from under the car, wearing work clothes, his face covered in sweat and oil, but unable to hide his youthful enthusiasm.

"What's wrong?" Liu Jing took off his gloves, wiping his face with a towel as he walked.

"This is our boss," Shu Chi introduced to the woman.

Liu Jing loved literature and history, and studied poetry; he had a scholarly air about him and didn't look like a mechanic at all. The woman was surprised, and upon hearing that Liu Jing was the boss, she couldn't help but look at him with admiration, smiling slightly and nodding.

Liu Jing smiled back and asked Shu Chi, "Brother Shu, what's wrong?"

Shu Chi said, "This lady's car needs a transmission replacement, but we don't have Renault parts." After saying that, Shu Chi quickly glanced at the woman's car. Several mechanics nearby also turned around, looking at their boss strangely.

Liu Jing understood and went over to look at the car: "Oh, it's a Renault Scenic." The woman worriedly approached and said, "You don't have the parts. Could you get one from another repair shop?" Before

Liu Jing could speak... Shu Chi explained, "There aren't many Renault cars in S City, and there aren't any specialized repair shops. The parts aren't cheap either. Usually, nobody keeps them in stock, so we have to get them from dealerships in D City."

"Then what should we do?" the woman asked anxiously, looking to Liu Jing for help. Liu Jing's Renault was parked in front of the office door. He pointed and said, "Don't worry! That's my car. We have the same license plate. I can take the transmission from my car and give it to you first. I'll get it from D City another day.

" "How could I possibly accept that?" the woman exclaimed, surprised and grateful.

"It's alright, it's what we do in this business," Liu Jing smiled generously, then said sincerely, "However, miss, your Scenic model transmission costs around a thousand yuan; mine is a Versatile, which is four hundred yuan more expensive. Of course, my car is almost two years old too. If you don't mind, I'll charge you twelve hundred?"

"Okay, okay, I'll pay right away," the woman said, touched, and immediately reached for her wallet.

"Hehe. No rush," Liu Jing waved his hand to stop her, "Try it out after you've replaced it. Is there anything you're not satisfied with?" "

How could that be?" The woman was deeply moved, her eyes shining brightly. "You're such a kind person."

"You're welcome, please wait a moment." Liu Jing secretly broke out in a cold sweat and gestured for Shu Chi to disassemble the parts.

Liu Jing and Shu Chi worked together, removing their Dongfeng Citro?n transmission and installing it for the woman. Renault parts were indeed scarce; when Little Tiger rescued him in his car, he wrecked it, and many parts had been replaced with Dongfeng Citro?n parts because they were both French cars.

"Thank you so much! I'll definitely come here to get my car repaired again!" The woman was very satisfied and gratefully handed Liu Jing 1200 yuan.

"Hehe, welcome! We'll definitely do our best to serve you." Liu Jing smiled warmly, taking the money with his oil-stained hands.

"Goodbye." The woman glanced at him, nodded beautifully, and the yellow Scenic car slowly drove into the street.

"Goodbye, have a safe trip!" Liu Jing waved enthusiastically until the woman disappeared around the corner.

With the woman gone, Liu Jing, having earned several hundred more, happily turned back, only to see several of his mechanic brothers grinning mischievously at him. Shu Chi stepped forward and handed him a bottle of water, chuckling, "Brother, I didn't know you were so good at business!"

One of the rascals interjected, "Boss, you're so convincing when you're cheating people, what if they find out and come knocking on your door?"

"How could they find out? It's called strategy!" Liu Jing laughed heartily, "Have you heard the story of the Three Merchants of Sichuan?"

Liu Jing's mechanics were all Tibetans; how could they have heard of it? Including Shu Chi, everyone shook their heads. Liu Jing took a sip of water and began to speak: "In Sichuan, there were three medicine merchants. One was a good man, selling only genuine medicine; one was a villain, specializing in fake medicine; and the third mixed genuine and fake medicine—selling fake medicine for small-scale transactions and genuine medicine for those who truly needed it. Guess what happened to them?"

"What happened?" "Everyone looked at each other, and the brat asked again.

Liu Jing, having finished his suspense, smugly concluded: 'The result is that those who sell genuine medicine lose everything; those who sell fake medicine get beaten to death; only those who mix genuine and fake medicine end up making a fortune. That's the strategy, you get it?'

One has to admire the storytelling ability of our ancestors. This story has real-world significance and is worth reflecting on. The simple Tibetans seemed thoughtful and fell silent for a moment. Liu Jing smiled, shook his head, checked the time, and stood up: 'Brothers, I have to go now. Anyone want to help me find a fake transmission to install in my car? I'll double my piecework bonus!'

Everyone burst into laughter, and the same brat jumped out again: 'I'll do it!'

Afterward, Liu Jing quickly washed up, changed his clothes, and set off. He had an appointment and needed to get to the company.

As Liu Jing was driving, his phone rang. He answered, and Zhang Xiaomei's voice came through: 'Brother Liu, a reporter from the *Hualian Business Daily* is here to interview you. They said it was arranged yesterday?

' 'Has everyone arrived? '" Liu Jing glanced at his watch. "You can greet them first, I'll be right there."

"Okay, drive carefully, Brother Liu." Zhang Xiaomei was as obedient as ever.

"Thank you." Liu Jing hung up the phone and sped off.

Yesterday afternoon, a reporter from the *Hualian Business Daily* called to interview him about the Ideal Group incident. So much time had passed, he initially wanted to refuse, but considering it could also advertise his auto repair shop, he agreed. The interview was scheduled for 2:30 PM. He was changing his gearbox and would be a little late, but he had plenty of time. He hadn't expected the reporter to be so enthusiastic.

Liu Jing rushed over, running all the way to the top floor. Zhang Xiaomei was

peeking in, and when she saw him, she pointed to his office. Liu Jing nodded and pushed open the door. The reporter was holding a teacup, browsing the bookshelves, and turned around when he heard the noise. The two met face-to-face and both froze.

"It's you? What a coincidence!" The reporter's eyes lit up, and she was the first to recover.

"Of course! I didn't expect it either!" "Oh my god! The reporter is actually the mechanic from earlier!" Liu Jing said awkwardly. "By the way, Miss Reporter, what's your name again?"

"You forgot?" The beautiful reporter paused, gave him a reproachful look, and pulled out a business card, handing it to him. "My name is Dongfang Jin. I said it several times yesterday, don't forget again!"

"No, no, definitely not." Liu Jing took it, glanced at it, and grinned sheepishly. "So it's Reporter Dongfang! Look at my memory! Hehe, Reporter Dongfang, please have a seat!" Compound surnames are not common, and the name Dongfang Jin wasn't hard to remember. Liu Jing hadn't forgotten at all; he was just making things up out of guilt.

Dongfang Jin said, "You just fixed my car. We're friends now, so call me Jin'er?"

"Oh, okay, Jin'er." Of all things to mention, he had to bring up the car repair, but Liu Jing forced himself to say it.

After they sat down, Dongfang Jin smiled and said, "I really didn't expect that you, this great hero, are also a shrewd businessman. " "

What hero? Reporter Dongfang, you flatter me. Actually..."

"We agreed to call her Jin'er, why Reporter Dongfang?" Liu Jing had just finished speaking when Dongfang Jin smiled and reminded him.

"I'm sorry," Liu Jing apologized, then asked, puzzled, "Jin'er, this case happened so long ago, and the reports at the time were quite comprehensive. Why do you suddenly want to do an interview?"

Dongfang Jin glanced at him with amusement and chuckled, "Two reasons. First, I used to work for an entertainment magazine in Beijing, and when I first joined the *Hualian Business Daily*, I wanted to dig out something different; second, your wife saved you back then, but your current family situation... to be frank, I'm very interested in the relationships of people like you, and I want to explore how your relationships differ from ordinary people."

Wow! "People like us"? Who else is included? Liu Jing smiled wryly, "Jin'er, times have changed. This is a matter that's hard to put off. Since you already know my family situation, do you think I could possibly satisfy you? That's practically exposing everything!"

Dongfang Jin smiled slyly, tilting her head to look at him, and said, "You've already done it, why are you afraid of people finding out?"

"That's two different things," Liu Jing glanced at her and said, "The current social situation is what it is. Laws, morals, many things don't make sense. No matter how special my family is, I have the right to live a peaceful life. Who wants to be treated like a monster?"

"Since you understand this, why did you still make such a choice that goes against the world? Where does your courage come from?" Dongfang Jin began the interview calmly.

Liu Jing said earnestly, "You're wrong. This isn't a choice; it's the natural development of our relationship. Our family's relationship developed naturally, not for any gimmick, attention-seeking, or self-promotion. If you interpret it that way, you're insulting me and my family."

"Well said, then..."

"Stop!" Liu Jing wasn't stupid; he stopped her in time. "Jin'er, don't ask anymore. I've already said enough. To be honest, I don't have a good impression of you reporters; you're all just stirring up trouble. It's only because it's you that I don't say a word. If it were anyone else, I wouldn't say a word. If you truly consider me a friend and respect me and my family, then stop immediately."

Liu Jing's words were righteous and stern. Dongfang Jin seemed slightly uncomfortable, but it was fleeting: "You misunderstood. I'm not interviewing you to create news; I want to write a social investigation report. It won't involve any of your or your family's privacy."

"That won't do either. Who would want to expose all their family secrets? Wouldn't that be foolish?"

Dongfang Jin nodded, smiled, and said, "Alright, I won't ask anymore. But you just admitted we're friends, so you don't object to us having tea and chatting when we have time, and visiting each other often, right?"

"Well, hehe." Dongfang Jin was trying to get information out of Liu Jing, who knew perfectly well. He chuckled and said, "You know my family situation, so of course you know I'll be very busy. I don't object to having tea and chatting with friends, but as for time..."

Before Liu Jing could finish speaking, his phone suddenly rang. It was Yu Xia. He held up the phone to Dongfang Jin and said, "Look, we were just talking, and my wife called. Now you believe me, right?"

"Answer your call." Dongfang Jin rolled her eyes in annoyance.

Liu Jing smiled apologetically and answered the phone: "Yu Xia, what's up?"

"What is it? Something terrible has happened!" Yu Xia snorted.

Liu Jing was startled: "What happened?" Yu Xia sighed and said, "Don't ask now, just go to XX residential area right away, I'll wait for you at the gate," and hung up the phone.

Liu Jing was stunned for a moment, then looked at Dongfang Jin. Dongfang Jin stood up helplessly: "Never mind, since you have something to do, I won't bother you anymore, we can talk again later."

"Then I'm sorry, I'll take you." Liu Jing stood up as well, ready to see him off.

"Don't rush." Dongfang Jin stopped him, "You gave me the transmission, you probably don't have a car anymore, right? Where do you want to go? I'll take you."

Liu Jing broke out in a cold sweat and hurriedly said, "No need, no need, you go ahead, I have something else to do."

"Okay then, see you next time." The two had just met, and Dongfang Jin didn't insist, saying goodbye and leaving.

Dongfang Jin left. Liu Jing was afraid she would see his car and give herself away, so he deliberately stayed for a while, estimating that she had gone far away before going downstairs. Sigh, when you're unlucky, everything seems to happen at once!

Liu Jing, overjoyed, went downstairs to meet Yu Xia. He had just opened his car door and hadn't even gotten in when a yellow car suddenly pulled up beside him. Dongfang Jin leaned out and said, "By the way, give me your phone number. From now on, we..."

Dongfang Jin stopped mid-sentence, suddenly noticing his car, and rushed to him, saying, "Boss Liu, you're quick to fix cars! Didn't you say you were going to D City to buy goods? You didn't manage to build a transmission so quickly, did you?"

"This..." Liu Jing was embarrassed, and with an awkward smile, he pulled out a business card. "Jin'er, don't you need my phone number? Here it is. From now on, your car repairs will be free!"

"Hmph! Shady businessman!" Dongfang Jin glared at him hatefully, grabbed the business card, and left.

The second section:

"A fierce wind sweeps across the deep red, green leaves sprout and branches are full of fruit." Having escaped the beautiful reporter, Liu Jing went to meet Yu Xia. The autumn sun shone warmly, the roadside was a mix of red and green, peaches and plums bloomed with deep green, and green apricots hung from the branches; interspersed with maple trees, they were covered in deep red leaves. Moved by the scene, Liu Jing suddenly recalled Du Fu's poem, and a sense of unease rose in his heart.

"Yu Xia said something important happened, what could it be? Could it be related to that incident?" Liu Jing became uneasy, recalling that embarrassing matter.

Three months ago, he and Fang Xi successfully brought Guo Guo and her son back, but Guo Guo still wouldn't budge and insisted on not staying at home. Yu Xia suggested another trip, another camping trip, so the whole family could indulge in debauchery together, be frank with each other, and naturally no longer hide anything. Liu Jing agreed.

It was a dream trip; he and his several wives had passionate encounters in the mountains, swam naked under the moon, and spent three wonderful days. Guo Guo finally agreed to go home, and Liu Jing finally had four wives, just like his lawyer neighbor. But although the trip was enjoyable, an unexpected accident occurred. Although it didn't cause any serious consequences, it was extremely embarrassing, and he was determined to forget about it.

"No, it can't be, it was just a touch, how could it be?" Liu Jing kept reassuring himself, finally finding some relief.

Soon, they arrived at XX residential area. Yu Xia, her long hair tied up, dressed in a crisp uniform, stood proudly at the gate, her three stars on her shoulders more dazzling than the golden chrysanthemums by the roadside. Seeing him arrive, Yu Xia strode forward to greet him before the car had even come to a complete stop. Liu Jing opened the car door and, before Yu Xia could even sit down, anxiously asked, "Yu Xia, what happened?"

"You still have the nerve to ask? Tian Yu is pregnant!" Yu Xia said, her voice filled with jealousy and heartache, glaring at him angrily. The thing she feared most had finally happened! Liu Jing was stunned. "This...how could this be? It definitely has nothing to do with me!"

"Why not? Who else could it be if not you?" Yu Xia was both jealous and angry, pinching his cheek and saying, "Tell us honestly, what else are you hiding from us?"

"What nonsense are you talking about?" Liu Jing was furious. He grabbed her hand, "Didn't I tell you? I just touched it, I didn't even go in! Besides, Guo Guo was right there. Even if I wanted to, I'd need an opportunity!"

Yu Xia looked at him, sighed, and didn't say anything. It wasn't that she didn't trust the young man, it was just that she had a headache; this whole thing had come too suddenly and was too bizarre. To integrate Guo Guo into the extended family, Yu Xia proposed the camping trip again. Guo Guo's son was young, so Bai Xiaoqing took care of him, but there was still Duo Duo, so she brought Tian Yu, the "little light bulb," along to help take care of the child. But this decision led to a major incident by sheer coincidence.

The police only had single tents, which could only accommodate two people at most, so there wasn't enough space. The family had a passionate encounter in the open air in the mountains, indulging in extreme debauchery before returning to their lodging. At that time, Tian Yu had already put Duo Duo to sleep, so no one was disturbed. Fang Xi and Xu Yan slept together, Yu Xia and Guo Guo slept together, and Liu Jing slept alone in three separate tents. But Yu Xia missed the child, so she woke up again and quietly woke Tian Yu to change tents. Unfortunately, Liu Jing, for some inexplicable reason, became overcome with lust in the middle of the night and secretly sneaked into Yu Xia and Guo Guo's tent, pulled down his pants, and without thinking twice, thrust into one of them. The result, of course, was screams, a commotion, and then crying.

Having entered the wrong tent and gotten into the wrong person, Liu Jing experienced the most embarrassing thing in his life. Fortunately, it was just a misunderstanding, and Tian Yu forgave him. Everyone kept quiet, and the matter was over. But who would have thought that just like that? Tian Yu actually got pregnant! What a cruel twist of fate.

Liu Jing recalled the situation again and said definitively, "It wasn't me, absolutely not. We barely touched, not even a tiny bit inside, and she woke up immediately. How could it be me?"

Liu Jing spoke very seriously, even exaggeratingly using his thumb and forefinger to show the exact distance. Yu Xia couldn't help but laugh, saying irritably, "Just because you didn't go in doesn't mean your sperm didn't go in. We were just playing in the mountains, and you accidentally didn't ejaculate completely, leaving a bit of semen on the side. When you touched it, it went in, and she got pregnant!"

"This…" This explanation was too absurd. Liu Jing was both amused and exasperated. "How could such a thing happen? It's simply unbelievable!"

"What's unbelievable? This isn't something that hasn't happened before!" Yu Xia said seriously, "My ex-husband handled an attempted rape case. He was almost handed over to the prosecutor's office when the woman suddenly changed her story, because she was pregnant!"

Could such a strange thing really happen? Liu Jing was skeptical and asked worriedly, "Then what should we do?" Yu Xia sighed and said, "What else can we do? Let's go see her first. If she can be aborted, that would be best. If not, we should take responsibility."

"Take responsibility? Take responsibility!" Liu Jing was shocked. "I've only met her a few times!"

"Then what do you suggest? Who told you to do this!" Yu Xia was both angry and annoyed. She glared at him fiercely and pinched his cheek. Liu Jing quickly stepped aside, forcing a smile. "Yu Xia, stop fooling around! Let's go check first. This accident has nothing to do with me."

"If it has nothing to do with you, why would Dong Le call me?" Yu Xia spat, then pouted in exasperation. "I really don't know what I owed you in my past life. Not only am I following you without any status, but you're

also relentless. You can get someone pregnant just by touching them. Tian Yu is still a virgin

!" Liu Jing didn't say anything, but started the car with a wry smile. Who wouldn't want to stay together for life if they were in love? He understood Yu Xia and didn't deny that he enjoyed his current life, but he also longed for it. Of course, this wasn't just for Yu Xia, but also for Fang Xi and Guo Guo, and even for Xu Yan.

Yu Xia led the way, and the car entered the residential area.

"Whose house is this? Why does Tian Yu live here?" Liu Jing asked outside Tian Yu's house. Tian Yu was from out of town and usually lived in the police dormitory, so Yu Xia often asked her to take care of the child, hence Liu Jing's question.

"Of course, it's a newly rented place!" Yu Xia glared at him and rang the doorbell.

A short while later, the door opened, revealing Dong Le's sullen face. Upon seeing Liu Jing, her bright eyes immediately lit up: "You still have the nerve to come here?" Liu Jing glanced at her but remained silent. Yu Xia said, "Never mind, Lele, let us go in and see Tian Yu first." Xunle

didn't say anything more, retreating sullenly to the side, still glaring at Liu Jing with extreme hostility. Liu Jing shook his head repeatedly as he watched her, then followed Yu Xia into the room. Xunle was furious, her eyes blazing with fury as she stared at his back, wishing she could devour him.

Liu Jing turned back and smiled, then quickly entered the room. He was already quite familiar with Dong Le; this girl was good in every way, except she was too enthusiastic and always ready to stand up for the weak. Yu Xia had been like that before, and now Tian Yu was doing the same. He just didn't understand why, even as the acting squad leader, she hadn't improved.

Tian Yu's house wasn't big, and the lighting was mediocre. The young girl looked pitiful, sitting on the bed with wide eyes, looking utterly helpless. Upon seeing Yu Xia and Liu Jing, she was immediately embarrassed, glancing at Dong Le before abruptly turning away, her head bowed and her body heaving.

Yu Xia and Liu Jing exchanged a glance. Yu Xia sat down on the edge of the bed and said, "Tian Yu, don't blame Lele. Such a big incident isn't just Liu Jing's fault; I also bear responsibility. She should have told me." "

How could Liu Jing be Yu Xia's husband?" Tian Yu blushed, looked at Liu Jing, and said fearfully, "Captain, I don't blame you, nor do I blame my brother-in-law. It was just a misunderstanding. If anyone is to blame, it's my bad luck."

The room was dimly lit, and Tian Yu's tone and expression revealed a helpless and pitiful look, like a petal drifting in the wind. Every young girl longs for beautiful love, let alone a beautiful young policewoman like Tian Yu. Being pregnant out of wedlock without knowing why, one can imagine the despair and sorrow in her heart.

Yu Xia took her hand and said with heartache, "Don't say that. If I hadn't asked you to take care of the child, and if I hadn't switched tents with you that night, none of this would have happened. It's all the captain's fault. The captain won't leave you alone. Tell me first, what are your plans?"

Tian Yu glanced weakly, lowered her head, and didn't speak. Liu Jing felt very guilty and moved forward, saying, "Tian Yu, it was all my recklessness. I'm unforgivable. I don't ask for your forgiveness, but you're still young, and you have a long life ahead of you. Don't carry any burdens."

Tian Yu smoothed her hair and said softly, "I told you I didn't blame you. It's just my own bad luck. I won't bother you." Liu

Jing said anxiously, "You misunderstood, that's not what I meant..."

"Don't say anymore!" Tian Yu slowly raised her head, her eyes filled with sorrow and determination. "I definitely won't bother you, but even a small child is a life, my own flesh and blood. I won't kill him, I will raise him well. Just pretend nothing happened."

Tian Yu was very gentle, but her feelings were strong and resilient. Her budding maternal love was truly moving. The three of them looked at each other, deeply saddened and shaken. Especially Liu Jing, who had always thought Tian Yu was a well-behaved, obedient, and timid girl, but now she understood the strength and kindness in her bones.

Liu Jing took a deep breath, took out a business card and handed it to her: "Tian Yu, I have no right to force you to do anything, but I... after all, I also have responsibilities. My phone number is here. If you need anything, like a medical check-up, you can call me."

Before Tian Yu could speak, Dong Le huffed, "I don't need your pretense. I'll handle the checkup. Stay away from her from now on!" Liu

Jing frowned, patiently saying, "Officer Dong, you're supposed to be the acting squad leader. You're not only impulsive but also ignorant. Many prenatal checkups require the husband... well, to be precise, the child's biological father. It's not something you can just substitute for; it concerns the health of the fetus."

Modern prenatal checkups are indeed like that. Dong Le's face flushed, and she fell silent.

Yu Xia grabbed a business card and shoved it into Tian Yu's hand, saying, "Tian Yu, Liu Jing is right. We won't force you, but if you want to have the child, you really need him. Take this first, and we'll talk about the rest later."

Tian Yu hesitated before taking the card, timidly saying, "Captain, don't worry, I'm only doing this for the child. I don't love him at all."

"That's right." Yu Xia smiled, gently stroking her cheek. "I know you don't love him, but if you absolutely have to have the child, then he's your child's father. You have to admit that, right?" "

The third section: I Don't Love You.

The autumn sun lingered on the horizon, a warm breeze carried the scent of osmanthus blossoms, and the autumn scenery near dusk was languid, like the rosy clouds on the horizon, reluctant to leave.

Liu Jing and Yu Xia walked out of Tian Yu's house, a heavy feeling lingering.

Not long ago, Fang Xi, not wanting to be outdone, successfully became pregnant. Little Si Yao was less than half a year old, Xu Yan and Fang Xi were pregnant again, and with Guo Guo, three of the four wives were inconvenient. Moreover, Ding Hua wanted a grandson and frequently went to S City, so Liu Jing simply sent all three of them back to his hometown to be cared for by his mother. Now..." Only he and Yuxia remained at home. Besides, Liu Jing had another purpose: he wanted the three women to find a beautiful, secluded place in their hometown to prepare for their future retirement. The three quickly found a good spot. Liu Jing and Yuxia were satisfied after seeing it, and Guo Guo secured the land. Currently, the mountain village home project is under construction, overseen by Xu Yan.

Life was getting better and better, and the future beckoned in the distance. Liu Jing often felt like he was dreaming, but the Tian Yu incident pulled him back to reality. It wasn't just a sense of indebtedness, but a deeper longing, like the autumn sunset.

"Why are you so downcast? What's the difference between having another wife, four or five?" As they got into the car, Yuxia, seeing his sullen expression, said nonchalantly.

Liu Jing turned to face her and said sincerely, "Do you really think that way?"

Liu Jing was very honest, showing no pretense of difficulty, except towards Yuxia and the other three women. Yuxia smiled gently, stroking his cheek, and said, "Silly boy, when have I ever lied to you?"

Liu Jing grasped her hand, saying apologetically, "Yu Xia, to be honest, I've never had high expectations, and I never imagined things would turn out this way. I would have satisfied any one of you four. But now… I truly feel I've let you all down. "

Yu Xia smiled and shook her head, comforting him, "Husband, you're overthinking it. Being husband and wife is fate. Although it's monogamous now, which man doesn't want multiple wives? But very few can actually do it. Conversely, very few women can accept it either. This is marriage, not a sex game, not something you can just live together under the guise of affection. To put it bluntly, our family's situation isn't just about you and Fang Xi and the others' fate, but also about the fate between us sisters. Just let things take their course."

Liu Jing was very moved, but still felt guilty, and said with difficulty, "Yu Xia, to be honest, it's not anything else, it's mainly... mainly that Tian Yu decided to have the child. That's my own flesh and blood, and I just can't bear to abandon her. If she marries someone else someday, my child will have to call someone else 'Dad,' and I can't bear to think about it."

"Honey, you're so cute!" Yu Xia chuckled, wrapping her arms around his neck. "Don't worry, jealousy is a woman's nature. I won't object. Fang Xi and the others know the whole story, and now that things have come to this, I believe they won't object either."

Liu Jing didn't speak, gratefully embracing her.

Yu Xia rested her head on his shoulder, sighing, "Honey, to be honest, I've probably gotten used to it. Now I really don't object to you having several wives, it's just—" Yu Xia glanced at him, her slender hand touching his crotch, "I'm just worried you can't handle it!"

"You're the most lewd one! Fang Xi and the others aren't home, I finally get a break, and you're doing it all the time. You're always having sex with your ass!" Liu Jing slapped her plump buttocks. With three women at home, it's mostly about multiple partners; he's practically obsessed with anal sex.

Yu Xia smiled lewdly, pouting, "You little pervert, stop pretending! You dare say you don't like it?"

Liu Jing chuckled, remaining silent. Yu Xia was so beautiful, so alluring, how could he not like her? Just thinking about Yu Xia's plump buttocks, wantonly spreading her large buttocks, waiting for him to pluck her from behind, made his blood boil.

Yu Xia blushed and glared at him, then twisted her waist and nestled between his legs. Liu Jing hurriedly said, "Yu Xia, why are you here again! We still have to pick up the kids."

"You drive, I'll do my thing." Yu Xia didn't mind at all, skillfully taking out her penis and putting it in her mouth. Although she had been promoted to captain, she was still a traffic policeman, which was irrelevant to her official position.

Liu Jing was speechless, and through his pants, he dug hard into the woman's buttocks, slowly pressing the accelerator, and drove off while performing oral sex.

In the following days, Liu Jing spent his time in slight unease. Of his four wives, only Little Tiger had actively pursued him; the others had formed naturally. Now, with a large family of wives and children, he had to pursue Tian Yu for the sake of his child. He always felt it was despicable, and it was difficult for him to get over it.

That day, Liu Jing was repairing a car in his shop when his phone rang. It was an unfamiliar number. He answered the phone: "Hello, who is this?"

"...It's me." There was a pause on the other end, followed by Tian Yu's nervous and timid voice.

Liu Jing's spirits lifted, and he hurriedly asked, "Tian Yu, what's wrong?"

There was another pause, followed by Tian Yu's anxious, tearful voice: "I...I'm bleeding down there! Liu Jing, will my baby be okay?"

Liu Jing was shocked, his heart leaping into his throat: "Tian Yu, don't worry, the baby will be fine. I'll take you to the hospital right away. Tell me where you are?"

"I...I'm at home," Tian Yu cried.

"Okay, I'll be right there." Liu Jing was extremely anxious, and solemnly warned, "Tian Yu, remember not to move around. Just wait for me at home. I'll be there in five minutes!"

"I know," Tian Yu mechanically replied. Liu Jing hung up the phone, not even changing out of his work clothes, and rushed out of the shop like a madman. The other mechanics exchanged bewildered glances as Liu Jing sped away.

Tian Yu's home wasn't close to the repair shop, and Liu Jing was extremely anxious. He drove incredibly fast, speeding through the streets. He was indeed in a hurry, not only for the baby in Tian Yu's belly, but also for Tian Yu's safety. According to his common sense, bleeding after pregnancy could have two possibilities: a threatened miscarriage or an ectopic pregnancy. If it was the latter, there was a risk of massive bleeding at any time, which could be life-threatening. He already felt terrible for Tian Yu; even if he didn't want the child, he couldn't let this kind girl suffer any more.

Liu Jing overtook other cars, speeding like a madman, and finally arrived five minutes later. His car was already registered with the police, and most of the traffic police knew about his relationship with Yu Xia, so they didn't

stop him. In fact, some officers on duty even helped him make things easier.

Liu Jing rushed upstairs, where Tian Yu, still with tear stains, greeted him with a look of panic. Liu Jing grabbed her hand and looked her over, asking, "Tian Yu, how are you?"

"I don't know, I just wore a sanitary napkin," Tian Yu said, looking up. In an instant, tears streamed down her face again. An unplanned pregnancy might be a tragedy, but it awakened Tian Yu's primal maternal instincts. The young policewoman's longing for the fetus in her womb far surpassed her own.

Liu Jing gripped her hand tightly, comforting her, "Don't cry, don't cry. Trust me, everything will be alright. We'll go to the hospital right away."

Tian Yu nodded through her tears. Liu Jing looked at her, somewhat troubled, and said, "Tian Yu, don't worry. You're not in the right condition to go downstairs by yourself. Let me carry you down."

"Okay." Tian Yu's tears subsided slightly, and she lowered her head weakly, a blush creeping across her tear-stained cheeks.

Liu Jing carried the girl in his arms, carefully descending the stairs step by step. Tian Yu lowered her pretty face, her arms tightly wrapped around his neck. Curling up like this in the arms of a strange man, her tense and anxious heart felt much calmer.

The stairwell was quiet, sunlight streaming in through the window, the sound of their heartbeats drowning out their footsteps, until the autumn sun shone brightly outside the building, the wind rustling their embracing figures.

Liu Jing placed the girl in the passenger seat, then got into the car and started it. Tian Yu, her face tense with worry, stared intently at her toes. Liu Jing glanced at her every now and then, observing her reaction. They remained silent the entire way until they reached the maternity hospital.

Liu Jing picked the girl up again and carried her into the hospital building.

The solemn white of the hospital was unsettling, and the smell of disinfectant was irritating. Tian Yu's face showed worry again—concern for the baby in her womb. Liu Jing saw this and felt a pang of pain in his heart. He frowned, wondering if he should explain the consequences to her to prepare her mentally.

Seeing his hesitation, Tian Yu seemed to realize something and suddenly exclaimed, "You...you mustn't misunderstand! I don't love you!"

Who misunderstood? It was clearly you who misunderstood! Liu Jing smiled bitterly to himself and could only say, "I know, I know. Don't overthink it. We can talk after you see the doctor."

Tian Yu didn't speak, glancing at him anxiously

before lowering her head again. Liu Jing ran around busily. Tian Yu went back and forth for examinations. An hour later, Liu Jing sat with the girl in front of the doctor. Both of them had wide eyes and waited nervously for the doctor's results. The doctor looked at them and smiled gently, saying, "You don't need to be nervous. The test results are all normal. The bleeding is probably due to post-pregnancy menstrual reactions, which is a normal phenomenon."

Menstrual reactions? Shouldn't there be no menstruation during pregnancy? The two looked at each other simultaneously, surprised and doubtful at the same time.

The doctor explained, "That's right, menstruation stops after pregnancy, but in the first month after conception, there might be slight bleeding during your original period. This is a normal menstrual reaction after pregnancy, and it's not uncommon. It will be fine afterward, so don't worry."

Liu Jing looked at Tian Yu and leaned forward to ask, "Thank you. Do you need any treatment?"

"No. I'll prescribe some medicine; you can go home after one IV drip." The doctor wrote out the prescription, handed it to him, and added, "This condition is somewhat related to fatigue. Your wife is young and her health is weak, so you should take good care of her, pay attention to her diet, keep her warm, and don't let her overwork herself."

"I understand, thank you." Liu Jing nodded, unconsciously glancing at the person beside him. Tian Yu lowered her head, her pretty face flushed, and remained silent.

Afterward, Liu Jing got the medicine and helped Tian Yu to the ward for the IV drip. It was an ordinary observation room with a row of beds, but there weren't many patients, so Liu Jing didn't pay attention and helped Tian Yu lie down.

The two faced each other, Tian Yu remaining silent, her head bowed. Liu Jing looked at her with heartache, feeling a deep unease. The doctor said it was related to overwork, and that was highly likely! Tian Yu had moved out of the police dormitory alone because of her pregnancy, and still had to work during the day. He felt not only guilty but also heartbroken.

After hesitating for a long time, Liu Jing finally raised his head: "Tian Yu, although everything is alright this time, you can still be alone..."

"I don't love you!" Liu Jing had just started to speak when Tian Yu glared at him, nervously interrupting him.

"I know, I know." Liu Jing sighed inwardly and could only lower his head again.

The medicine dripped slowly, and the two remained silent.

After a while, Liu Jing raised his head again and said sincerely: "Tian Yu, what I mean is, given your current situation, and the fact that you have no one to take care of you, perhaps..."

"I don't love you, I really don't love you!" Tian Yu looked terrified and hurriedly interrupted him again.

"Yes, yes, you don't love me." Liu Jing was filled with shame and lowered his head in embarrassment.

After a while, Liu Jing took a deep breath, raised his head for the third time, and looked at her with a determined gaze, ready to confess again.

"I don't love you, I said I don't love you and I mean it!" Tian Yu's breathing was rapid; she had been tense and on guard the whole time. Seeing him raise his head again, she hurriedly blurted out the words.

Liu Jing was both amused and exasperated; he hadn't even spoken yet!

"Pfft!" A laugh came from behind. Tian Yu looked up, Liu Jing turned around, and they both looked in the same direction. In the corner of the ward, a woman smiled sweetly, a book spread on her lap, leaning against the bed receiving an IV drip. That charming figure—who else could it be but Dongfang Jin?

"Sorry, I saw everything." Dongfang Jin winked at Liu Jing, covering her mouth with a laugh, "You two are really funny. One clearly wants to confess, but just spouts a bunch of nonsense; the other keeps saying she doesn't love you, but it's all hypocrisy, a mere attempt to cover up her feelings."

There weren't many people in the ward, but they were all smiling at the two of them. As soon as Dongfang Jin finished speaking, a friendly burst of laughter erupted.

Ugh! Both were so engrossed in their conversation that they forgot there were so many people in the ward!

Tian Yu, already nervous, blushed instantly, clutching the corner of the blanket and lowering her shyly. Liu Jing grinned at everyone, standing up awkwardly: "Jin'er, so you're getting an IV here too, what a coincidence!"

"Yes," Dongfang Jin glanced at Tian Yu, saying playfully, "If it weren't a coincidence, how would I have discovered that you, this shrewd businessman, have transformed into a great lover?"

The fourth section, "But for the sake of you,

life is full of unexpected encounters," is a carefree saying, but undeniably, strange encounters often happen in life. Many times, an encounter is just an encounter, a fleeting brush past, and then nothing more; some encounters give rise to many interesting and touching stories, like a fleeting moment of romance, or a meeting of kindred spirits, surpassing countless others.

Liu Jing, Tian Yu, and Dongfang Jin unexpectedly meet in the ward—will a story unfold? What kind of story will unfold? It's all unknown now, but we can look forward to it. Compared to the masses, beautiful love stories are few and far between, and no one would mind adding another, even if it's insignificant or just a legend.

Liu Jing's confession was already awkward, and then Dongfang Jin unintentionally saw through it. Luckily, he was thick-skinned enough to ignore her teasing and turned around to say, "Tian Yu, let me introduce you. This is Dongfang Jin, a reporter from the *Hualian Business Daily*, a famous reporter!" Whether Dongfang Jin was a famous reporter was debatable, but Liu Jing didn't mind a little counterattack. Turning back, Liu Jing added, "Jin'er, this is Tian Yu from the policewoman team." "

Famous reporter" was a euphemism, and Dongfang Jin glared at him, saying to Tian Yu, "Hello. I'm just an ordinary reporter, not a 'famous reporter,' at least not as famous as him."

"Hello," Tian Yu said, her face flushed, nodding reluctantly and glancing at Liu Jing with a mixture of reproach and resentment. The young policewoman repeatedly emphasized that she didn't love Liu Jing, but Dongfang Jin bluntly called her hypocritical and an attempt to cover up her feelings, leaving her too embarrassed to face anyone.

After the pleasantries, Liu Jing looked at Dongfang Jin and asked with feigned concern, "Jin'er, what's wrong? Why are you here getting an IV drip?" It's not exactly pleasant for a young woman to go to a maternity hospital, especially since Chinese people are known for their tendency to overthink things.

"It's nothing serious. I was just wondering why you're here," Dongfang Jin replied nonchalantly, glancing at Tian Yu with a hint of mockery. She was a reporter. Her irregular lifestyle meant occasional menstrual cramps, but based on Liu Jing's "consistent behavior," he was absolutely certain Tian Yu's condition was more serious.

Hearing this, Tian Yu's already flushed face drooped even lower. Liu Jing, mocking others, forgot his own situation was even worse, and could only remain silent.

Dongfang Jin gave a smug snort, offering no further retort, and Liu Jing couldn't continue his tirade. The three of them fell silent. Liu Jing and Tian Yu sat in silence. Dongfang Jin observed the two with great interest. It wasn't unusual for successful men to have several women, but she couldn't understand how someone as unremarkable as Liu Jing could have four wives? And it was quite obvious that this young policewoman might become another one.

Not long after, Dongfang Jin finished her transaction, quickly packed up, and said goodbye: "Sorry to have bothered you. I have to go."

"Oh, okay." Finally gone, Liu Jing jumped up eagerly.

Dongfang Jin gave him a playful, slightly reproachful look, then turned to Tian Yu and extended her right hand: "Officer Tian, it was a pleasure meeting you. I wish you all the best, and I hope we'll have the chance to meet again."

Tian Yu quickly glanced at Liu Jing, his face flushed, and grasped her fingertips. He timidly said goodbye. Dongfang Jin smiled slightly and then said to Liu Jing: "Mr. Liu, I must thank you. Although you didn't agree to my interview, you taught me a lesson today with your actions. If there's another opportunity, you'd better let me know. We're friends, so I can help you out."

"No thanks!" Liu Jing glanced at her sideways, turning his back to her. "You're a famous reporter, with ulterior motives. I wouldn't dare ask you for help!"

Dongfang Jin chuckled, her eyes flashing, and said: "Don't worry, I have a good idea that will definitely put your mind at ease."

"What idea?" Liu Jing turned back, asking warily.

Dongfang Jin glanced at Tian Yu, then shrugged and said, "No rush, you keep Officer Tian company first. I'll talk to you again in a couple of days when I have time." She nodded to Tian Yu, slung her bag over her shoulder, and hopped out the door.

The two watched Dongfang Jin leave. Tian Yu tilted her head, glancing weakly at Liu Jing. Liu Jing sat up straight and said seriously, "Tian Yu, don't listen to her nonsense. I've only met her once, we're not close at all."

Tian Yu quickly looked away and whispered, "I don't love you anyway, what does it matter to me whether you're close to her or not?"

The young policewoman was at it again. Liu Jing looked around, moved his lips but didn't speak. There were other people in the ward, so he held back. Tian Yu lowered her head and thought for a moment, then looked up and said, "Liu Jing, I'm fine now. You can go back first. I'll go home by myself later."

"How can that be?" Liu Jing refused without even thinking. "You don't need to say anything. I have to take you." After a pause, Liu Jing mustered his

courage and leaned forward, shamelessly saying, "Little Tian, I'll not only take you home later, but I'll also cook for you. I won't let you work so hard anymore!" "I don't need you to cook!" Tian Yu was extremely embarrassed and suddenly looked up. The young policewoman was obviously anxious, her pretty face flushed red. Ignoring her embarrassment, she stared straight at Liu Jing, her eyes both threatening and pleading, and she looked even more frightened.

Liu Jing looked at her and couldn't help but laugh: "Don't be nervous, be careful not to upset the baby."

"You... anyway, I won't let you cook!" Tian Yu's heart was pounding, her expression cute and aggrieved, and she turned her head away again.

Liu Jing didn't press further and changed to a lighter topic. Tian Yu remained inexplicably tense and wary. The two exchanged questions intermittently until the IV drip finished.

Outside, the sky was high and clear, a cool breeze blowing – a refreshing day. As they exited the hospital building, Liu Jing hurried a few steps forward and opened the back door of the car. Tian Yu, who had been in the front seat when they arrived, paused for a moment, glanced at him, and got in. Sure enough, Liu Jing followed.

"What are you doing?" Tian Yu was startled and instinctively shrank to the other side. Liu Jing carefully leaned forward and said sincerely, "Tian Yu, don't be so jumpy. Things have come to this point, and there are some things we need to clarify."

"What is there to say? I simply..."

"I know you don't love me, you don't need to say anymore! I know!" Liu Jing quickly interrupted, taking the opportunity to lean closer, then looked into her eyes and said, "Tian Yu, although you don't love me, I... I'm starting to fall in love with you!"

"You, you're lying!" Tian Yu

was helpless and bewildered, her eyes darting around.

"I'm not lying to you, I'm telling the truth, you actually love me too!" Liu Jing's words were astonishing, and he suddenly leaned forward a large chunk of his body.

"You're talking nonsense! I'm not!" Tian Yu was extremely anxious, stamping her feet repeatedly, almost crying.

"It's the truth! There's no use in you running away!" Liu Jing finally managed to get close to the young policewoman and grabbed her small hand.

"You..." Tian Yu struggled, looking up at him helplessly.

Liu Jing held her hand.

He looked into her eyes and said, “Strictly speaking, this is our first time together, and you might find it unbelievable. But have you considered that from the moment you decided to have this child, we've been forcing ourselves to fall in love with each other?” Tian Yu’s mouth was slightly open, her eyes flashing rapidly, as if she had realized something.

Liu Jing continued, “You studied psychology at the police academy, so you know what compulsion is. The child might be an accident, but because of his existence, we are, in fact, husband and wife. Saying I’m forcing myself to fall in love might not be accurate, but we are indeed forcing ourselves to accept each other, and inevitably trying to fall in love. Otherwise, you wouldn’t have called me today.”

Tian Yu looked at him helplessly, her eyes silently admitting it. She sought out Liu Jing because there was no one more suitable, but how could it not be an instinct?

Liu Jing slowly added, “Also, last time you called me brother-in-law. Today you called me by my name. Isn’t that a change too?”

Tian Yu was like a lost lamb, extremely bewildered, her gaze gradually weakening. She slowly looked ahead, her slender hand unconsciously gathering her hair, her body going limp as she leaned against his side. Liu Jing tenderly put his arm around her shoulder, his right hand still holding the girl's soft hand.

Tian Yu showed no nervousness or shyness. She let him embrace her, quietly leaning on his shoulder, her eyes still gazing into the distance, a hint of sorrow in them. More than anything, she resigned herself to her fate, yet remained calm and composed. Women are born with a sense of belonging; although they hadn't been intimate, they shared a deeper connection—a child. Moreover, she was already aware of Liu Jing's background, and had even traveled with his family twice as a third wheel, possessing considerable resilience. Coupled with the strongest bond of blood ties, her psychological defenses quickly crumbled.

Liu Jing held the girl's soft body and said sincerely, "Tian Yu, it's not that I'm forcing you, but you're the mother of my child. How can I bear to let you suffer alone?"

Tian Yu suddenly realized something. She pulled away from his embrace, looking up, her eyes darting away, a look of panic returning. Liu Jing understood what she was thinking and said with a smile, "Don't worry, Yu Xia won't object, no one will. I only have the courage to tell you these things because Yu Xia encouraged me!"

Tian Yu then lowered her head shyly. Liu Jing continued, "I know you won't adapt so quickly, but don't worry, I'll cook for you every day, wash your clothes, and take care of you until you get used to it!"

"Who needs you to take care of me? I haven't thought about it yet!" Tian Yu said shyly, finally speaking again.

"It's okay, take your time to think about it, it's only a matter of time anyway." Liu Jing was overjoyed and suddenly gave the policewoman a kiss on the lips.

"Ah! You..." Tian Yu was extremely shy, her pretty face immediately turning red with embarrassment, and she turned away uncomfortably.

Liu Jing boldly embraced her from behind, whispering in her ear, "Xiao Tian, I promise I'll cherish you for the rest of my life. There's something else, after a few months, when the baby is more stable, we'll...we'll do it, this time for real!"

"You...you shameless!" Tian Yu's face burned, and she pushed him away abruptly. "I already said I haven't thought it through, who's going to do it with you?"

"How can that be? I can't let you become a mother without knowing what's going on!" Liu Jing said earnestly, "I'm doing this all for you!"

For your sake, for your love, what a shameless and selfless reason.

"You're so bad!" The young policewoman was extremely embarrassed, struggling a few times before weakly burying herself in his arms, only her steaming breath emanating from her face.

The car set off, heading straight for the market. Liu Jing wanted to buy groceries for his new wife and then cook for her.

Chapter Five: Tian Tian's secret to pleasing

Yu the Great in controlling the floods was to guide, not block; feelings are similar. Without the constraints of the heart, their emotions flowed gently like a river after winter, lacking the intensity of turbulence, yet tender, bright, and crystal clear, just like Liu Jing and Tian Yu.

The market was noisy, a chaotic mix of bargaining and hawking, but Liu Jing and Tian Yu, hand in hand, wandered around, occasionally exchanging sweet glances. Although it was just beginning, the young couple quickly settled into their routine; buying groceries was no longer important, their intimate moments were the real enjoyment. Listening to the chaotic shouts, feeling the liveliness of the chickens and fish, their eyes and hearts were filled with tenderness and affection.

From the passionate exuberance of Yu Xia, to the youthful fervor of Xiao Laohu, and then to the bittersweet experiences with Guo Guo, Liu Jing had experienced three relationships simultaneously, and now, Tian Yu was giving him a completely new feeling. The young policewoman's shy embrace, her blushing and pounding heart, and her slightly sweaty hands all made him flutter with excitement, like a high school student secretly in love.

The young couple wandered around for nearly two hours before reluctantly leaving. Liu Jing called Yu Xia to tell her what had happened, and the two got into the car to go home.

The autumn sun was already setting, and a gentle breeze was blowing. Liu Jing drove, and Tian Yu sat in the passenger seat, her hands clasped between her legs, her rosy face lowered. This gentle demeanor was like a small flower blooming in the sunlight, shyly swaying in the breeze.

Liu Jing saw this and was delighted. He couldn't help but say, "Tian, I'll tell you a secret. Do you want to hear it?"

"What secret?" Tian Yu turned her head.

"Xu Yan," Liu Jing said seriously, "I'm not lying to you. I've been with her for so long, and I've tried so hard to love her. But I haven't succeeded. But I suddenly fell for you. I really like you. Isn't that strange?"

Tian Yu blushed. She scolded him playfully, "I don't believe you. You're just kidding me."

"No, I never lie. I only speak from the heart!" Liu Jing said shamelessly.

Tian Yu blinked, looking at him and asking, "Does she know?"

"Well, how should I put it?" Liu Jing hesitated for a moment, "She thinks I've liked her for a long time, but I just didn't realize it. Of course, that doesn't affect anything; we're still very good friends."

Tian Yu seemed a little jealous, hesitatingly asking, "If you don't like her, why are you dating one after another?"

"Well..." Liu Jing was embarrassed for a moment, "Actually, I never intended to date anyone; it was all an accident, like us, wasn't it an accident?"

Tian Yu pouted, glancing at him without speaking, her eyes filled with undisguised sourness and a hint of helplessness. This was only the first day, and Liu Jing understood, saying earnestly, "Tian Yu, I keep my word. I'll definitely treat you well from now on, so don't feel wronged, okay?"

"I'm fine." Tian Yu reluctantly smoothed her hair behind her ear, then tilted her head to look at him again. "If you can continue to treat me this well as you are today, then I... I'll accept it."

Liu Jing laughed, "What's the first day? It'll be even better from now on!" Tian Yu pouted at him, then didn't say anything more, seemingly satisfied. Liu Jing, overjoyed, swallowed hard and said, "Xiao Tian, come here and give me a kiss?"

"No, I won't. It's too embarrassing," Tian Yu said, her pretty face flushed. She shyly turned her head away.

"Hurry up. We're driving!"

Tian Yu couldn't resist and reluctantly moved closer, tilting her flushed face. Liu Jing gave her a happy kiss before straightening up, feeling quite pleased with himself. Although it wasn't a small kiss, it was just as beautiful.

The young couple arrived home. Liu Jing took things out of the trunk, and Tian Yu considerately shared some. They carried each other. A police motorcycle was parked in front of the building. They looked at each other, and Tian Yu, shrinking back, said, "It's Dong Le."

Liu Jing chuckled awkwardly. Before he could speak, Dong Le came out of the building carrying a pile of pork and eggplant. He was startled to see them, then quickly walked up to them, looking them over and asking, "What are you doing here?"

Tian Yu's face turned bright red. She didn't say a word, looking at her friend and boss with embarrassment. Liu Jing smiled awkwardly and lifted the things in his hands: "I took her to the hospital for a check-up and bought some groceries."

Xun Le understood everything. She asked with a long face, "Tian Yu, what's going on?"

Tian Yu glanced at Liu Jing, tightened her grip on his arm, and grinned without speaking. Dong Le gasped, swallowed hard, and said, "What? You're going to be with him too?"

Tian Yu was extremely embarrassed. She weakly raised her eyes and nodded shyly. Dong Le glanced at Liu Jing and huffed, "Tian Yu, you said you didn't love him last time, and you've changed your mind in just a few days? You're so spineless!"

Liu Jing was both amused and exasperated, and quickly stepped forward, saying, "Dong Le, things are already like this, what's the use of blaming Xiao Tian? Besides, Yu Xia has already agreed."

"You still have the nerve to mention Sister Qin?" Dong Le's face rounded with anger. "What did you say to me the first time we met? What about girlfriends? What about being reasonable? Now, one after another, you're even eyeing Tian Yu. How can you face Sister Qin?"

Liu Jing innocently said, "I didn't want to, but these were all accidents, weren't they?"

"Just because it was an accident doesn't mean it can never end. What do you take women for?" Dong Le's anger intensified.

Acting Captain Xun didn't understand reason, and Liu Jing didn't want to argue with her. Tian Yu glanced at the two of them, then stepped forward and grabbed her arm: "Lele, I didn't love him before, but a child can't be without a father, what else can we do?"

Xunle shook her off: "Who told you to insist on having him? Just get an abortion, that's all! I gave him to you for nothing..."

"Lele!" Tian Yu cried out urgently, "That's a life! He's so small, how can you just throw him away like that?"

Tian Yu's attitude was firm, her words resounding. Xunle looked at Liu Jing, finally softening her tone: "Fine, fine, it's your own business, I don't care anymore!" With that, she pushed the pork and eggplant she was holding into Liu Jing's arms and walked towards the motorcycle.

Liu Jing took a step back, turned around and said: "Dong Le, since you're already here, why don't you eat before you leave? I'll apologize to you!"

"Who needs your apology? You haven't done anything wrong to me!" Dong Le got on the motorcycle, glaring at him. Tian Yu looked at Liu Jing, stood beside him and said: "Lele, will you come again in the future?"

"Depends on my mood." Xunle said irritably, starting the motorcycle with a roar. Tian Yu said pitifully, "Anyway, you're my only friend, so you're not allowed to ignore me!"

"You already have a man, what do you need a friend for?" Dong Le snorted, glared at Liu Jing, and drove off.

Acting Captain Xun left, and Liu Jing watched her retreating figure. Shaking his head, he said to Tian Yu, "You know, Dong Le is too nosy! She's practically overly enthusiastic!"

Tian Yu hesitated and said, "Don't blame her. Actually…it's because she introduced me to a boyfriend that she's angry."

"Introduced a boyfriend?" Liu Jing was stunned. "When did that happen?"

"Two weeks ago." Tian Yu looked at him timidly, as if she had done something wrong.

"And now? "

"Now? Do you even need to ask?" Tian Yu said with a mournful face. "I broke up with him as soon as I found out I was pregnant! It was our first date, and he was furious."

"Oh." Liu Jing was relieved, then pretended to be serious. "Xiao Tian, you did the right thing. Luckily, you two weren't in love yet, or it would have hurt him even more. We can't do something so immoral."

Tian Yu blushed and said, "Come on! He really likes me. The day we were introduced, he invited Lele and me to dinner at the Marriott Hotel. Lele told me he had something to do that day, but he only decided to invite us because he likes me so much."

"Don't listen to Dong Le's nonsense. What does she know?" Liu Jing puffed out her chest and said indignantly, "That guy is definitely a nouveau riche. How could he like you as genuinely as I do?"

Tian Yu said aggrievedly, "Look at how smug you are! You have so many wives. If it weren't for the child, I wouldn't be with you!"

"That's why I'm lucky." Liu Jing chuckled, handed over his things, and put his arm around the policewoman's shoulder.

Tian Yu glanced at him gently. The two walked into the building together, their shadows intertwined in the hallway light. Liu Jing, thinking of something, said to the person beside him, "Xiao Tian. Being a traffic cop is hard work and not safe, and you're not in good health. Why do

n't you just quit?" "No," Tian Yu said firmly, "I don't want you to support me. I want to have my own job." Liu Jing said, "Why bother? We're family, why is there a question of who supports whom?"

"I feel differently," Tian Yu said seriously. She looked at him again and said, "Besides, once Captain Xun gives the order, I can become the deputy captain! I studied to be a policeman for four years. I should at least do something good as a traffic cop, right?"

These three sisters, one taking care of the other, are all quite ambitious! Liu Jing hugged her tightly and said with a smile, "Okay, but you're pregnant now, so don't go out wandering around too much."

"Okay," Tian Yu nodded, unconsciously leaning closer to his side.

Love is beautiful. The two of them lingered on the stairs, taking a long time to climb them. After entering the room, Liu Jing put down his things and then hugged his new wife and kissed her deeply. Tian Yu, half-heartedly resisting, half-accepting, offered her first kiss with a radiant smile. Liu Jing, emboldened, even caressed the girl's firm breasts through her clothes, making the young policewoman blush and blush before smugly heading into the kitchen.

Although the pregnancy was sudden, the baby in her womb was real. The young policewoman, experiencing love for the first time, quickly settled down, intoxicated and blissfully infatuated in the whirlpool of romance. Liu Jing told her to rest, but how could she resist? As Liu Jing busied himself in the kitchen, she followed him around; unwilling to be separated for even a moment, her pitiful appearance was heartbreaking. The stove burned merrily, the hot pan bubbling with sweet, satisfying oil.

Liu Jing stir-fried the vegetables, occasionally glancing back with a smile. Suddenly, something soft came from behind; the young policewoman wrapped her arms around his waist, pressing herself against his back.

This little girl, she's become so clingy in such a short time! Liu Jing was overjoyed, his heart bubbling with happiness. He chuckled and replied, "You hadn't even decided yet, why are you suddenly being so proactive?"

Tian Yu hugged him tightly from behind, nestled against his shoulder, and said, "I don't know. I suddenly feel so fond of you, I can't bear to be apart from you."

"Of course, we're pregnant, we're a match made in heaven!" Liu Jing couldn't describe his feelings, turning around with immense pride. "Come here, give your husband a kiss!"

Without hesitation, Tian Yu immediately stood up, pouting her little lips and giving him a quick kiss. Liu Jing almost collapsed, stealing a moment to pat the little policewoman's bottom: "Little Tian, remember, you have to listen to your husband from now on!"

In less than half a day, Tian Yu had become Little Tian, and then Little Tian again, the little policewoman playfully raising her neck: "Then you have to keep being good to me, or I won't listen!"

"Of course I'll be good to you, is there any doubt about that?"

"Then I'll listen." Tian Yu clung to his shoulders, trying her best to rest her head on his shoulder.

This little policewoman is so obedient! So well-behaved! Liu Jing had never felt this way before, like falling into a honey pot, sweet and intoxicating; or like soaking in sugar water, a hangover that could never be washed away.

Tian Yu suddenly thought of something, her eyes flashing, and said, "Liu Jing, let me tell you a secret too?"

"What secret? You didn't have a boyfriend before, did you?" Liu Jing didn't take it seriously, saying generously, "It's okay, it's in the past, I won't hold it against you!"

"Oh no!" Tian Yu twisted her body, "It was Lele!"

"Dong Le?!" Liu Jing paused, turning her head, "What about her?"

Tian Yu looked around exaggeratedly, widening her eyes, and said, "I bet she likes you too, she's just jealous and that's why she criticized us!"

Liu Jing flailed, nearly getting cooking oil on his hands. "Don't guess! You ca

n't just say things like that!" "It's true! I'm sure I'm not wrong!" Tian Yu grabbed his arm and said earnestly, "Let me tell you, she idolizes Captain Qin the most, she takes him as her role model in everything, she learns everything from him, she does whatever he does, she likes whatever he likes, and since he likes you, I guess she likes you too."

This reason was unheard of, but not unreasonable. Liu Jing didn't want to pursue it, but he had a slight doubt.

"Why are you telling me this?" Liu Jing turned around and stared at her.

"I don't know." Tian Yu answered decisively.

"Don't know?"

"Hmm—!" Tian Yu tilted her head and rolled her eyes, as if she was meditating.

Liu Jing waited quietly with interest.

"I know!" The young policewoman finally realized something and said innocently and excitedly, "Because I want to please you!"

"Pfft!" Liu Jing's legs went weak, and he fell forward.

"Oh dear, what's wrong with you?" Tian Yu quickly caught him.

Liu Jing struggled to his feet, tenderly cupping the girl's face in his hands, gazing deeply into her eyes, and said, "Little Tian Tian, you're so adorable, so lovable! Whether others like you or not is none of my business, but I love you, I really love you!"

Tian Yu, praised, was timidly delighted, seemingly bewildered. Liu Jing suddenly lowered his head and pecked at her luscious cherry lips.

"Mmm!" Tian Yu opened her eyes in utter panic, "Ah! Your hand? You—how did you touch me?"
