The Carefree Little Immortal [Complete] - 18

Chapter Seven: Peerless Brilliance

"Reporting to the young master, this garden has been abandoned for a long time. My men have searched the entire place, but found no trace of the fox demon." A man with bloodshot eyes knelt before the Little Demon Lord and reported loudly.

The Little Demon Lord slowly turned his head, his gaze chilling as he looked at He Tianpeng, who was prostrate on the ground.

He Tianpeng cried out in terror, "I really heard them say that the little fox demon escaped into this garden! Maybe…maybe he escaped somewhere else…"

"Then…" the Little Demon Lord said weakly, "What use are you now?"

He Tianpeng's face was bloodless, but suddenly he seemed to think of something and hurriedly exclaimed, "I have another way to find the fox demon!"

Because he was missing a front tooth, his speech was always somewhat slurred.

The Little Demon Lord lazily looked at him.

"That little fox demon stole my Deer-shaped Carriage. As long as he uses it, I can track him down!" He Tianpeng said, tightly grasping this last straw.

The Little Demon Lord narrowed his eyes and turned his head slightly, saying, "Take him with you."

He Tianpeng breathed a huge sigh of relief, his back already soaked with sweat.

The Little Demon Lord turned to leave.

"Wait..." someone suddenly spoke up, "Reporting to the young master, this old man feels that this small forest is a bit strange."

The red-eyed man immediately said, "Elder Bu, I have personally led people to thoroughly search this small forest, and there is nothing unusual."

The man ignored him completely, and only said to the Little Demon Lord, "This small forest is not only strange, but also very strange, because it hides a strange great restriction, which is very likely... the entrance to some kind of barrier or secret realm."

"What's going on? We were clearly in Calabash Town, how did we suddenly get here?" Bi'er stared blankly at the boundless forest.

"How should I know?" Xiao Xuan's mouth was wide open.

"This forest is so big, I can't see the end at all." Zi'er gasped.

“Could it be an illusion? Calabash Valley isn’t that big; it couldn’t possibly contain such a vast forest,” Bi’er said.

“It doesn’t seem like an illusion,” Zi’er said, kicking a branch beneath her feet.

“Heavens! Where are we?” Xiao Xuan scratched his head.

“How would we know! If we knew, would we be standing here in a daze!” Bi’er snapped.

“Why are you so angry?” Xiao Xuan glared at her.

“It’s all your fault! If it weren’t for helping you, how would we have ended up here inexplicably!” Bi’er said fiercely.

“Helping me?” Xiao Xuan sneered, “It’s for my piece of Azure Jade, isn’t it?”

“You!” Bi’er was speechless with anger, her pretty face turning bright red.

“Ah!” Xiao Xuan suddenly exclaimed, “That’s right, I remember! Could this be a rift?”

“A rift?” Zi’er looked at him.

“Yes, a rift between heaven and earth, just like Giant Bamboo Valley!” Xiao Xuan said excitedly.

“You know Giant Bamboo Valley?” the two girls asked in unison.

"I not only know about it, I've been there! Wow, it's amazing, so much more beautiful than here!" Xiao Xuan said proudly.

"You... what were you doing there?" Zi'er asked, staring at him.

"Ahem... I just... just went for a stroll." Xiao Xuan stammered, after all, it involved many things that were inconvenient to say: "Didn't I tell you, I have a friend who specializes in wholesaling Treasure Bamboo? I went to visit her."

Zi'er and Bi'er exchanged a glance, a hint of suspicion flashing across their faces.

Xiao Xuan also became puzzled, thinking, "Why are they so sensitive when Giant Bamboo Valley is mentioned?"

"No matter where this place is, let's leave quickly, I feel something is strange here." Zi'er said.

"Yes, let's go." Bi'er immediately agreed, the place was so large that it made people very uneasy.

"Brother Xiaobai, do you know any flying techniques?" Zi'er asked Xiao Xuan.

"Of course... I do." Xiao Xuan said, forcing a smile, in front of these two beautiful sisters, he was really embarrassed to say that he only knew how to take flight on land.

"Alright, let's go." Zi'er finished speaking, put away her twin rings, and with a flick of her arms, her flowing robes billowed up. In the blink of an eye, she was off the treetops, soaring into the air like a cloud

. Bi'er also sheathed her weapon, spreading her arms and following closely behind.

Xiao Xuan was stunned, his face burning. He hurriedly used his land-based flying technique to leap and dart through the treetops, desperately trying to catch up.

"Huh...why isn't he keeping up?" Zi'er noticed, turning back to see Xiao Xuan leaping and darting through the treetops, looking utterly disheveled and pale.

Bi'er turned back, and upon seeing him, burst into laughter, saying with unusual delight, "So this kid was just bragging! He doesn't know how to fly at all! He even said he could take on the five disciples of the White-Haired Lady single-handedly—I bet that's all made up!"

"Let's fly slower, or he won't be able to keep up," Zi'er said.

"No way! Who told this country bumpkin to be so stingy? I'm going to leave him all alone in this forest! I hope some kind of ferocious beast comes out and eats him!" Bi'er said with a grin, her snow-white neck tilting high like a swan, and she accelerated forward.

"Hey, stop fooling around, or you'll get lost!" Zi'er quickly chased after her.

Xiao Xuan gathered his strength to chase after them, but soon he was panting heavily and sweating profusely. His internal energy was also being rapidly depleted. Seeing that the two girls were leaving him further and further behind, he felt anxious and ashamed: "I've really lost face now. They'll laugh their heads off later..." He then comforted himself: "Ah! That's right, these two girls are butterfly spirits. If they couldn't fly, they would be even more laughable. I, Cui Xiaosheng, can't underestimate myself!"

Despite his self-comfort, the reality was undeniable. His internal energy was greatly depleted, and his ears, which had been slightly better, began to ring again. His head was also dizzy and throbbing, making him feel extremely uncomfortable. Suddenly, he lost his footing and fell from the treetop, crashing and breaking countless branches. Just as he was about to throw out his Flaming Dragon Whip to save himself, he crashed heavily to the ground.

"Ugh... When you're down on your luck, even drinking water can be a problem... He Tianpeng, you bastard! One day... I, your holy grandfather, will definitely give you a good beating!" Xiao Xuan cursed, realizing he wasn't seriously injured. He touched the ground beneath him and found it covered with a thick layer of decaying branches and leaves, damp and soft from the dew. He was secretly relieved. Even so, his body felt like it was falling apart, and he couldn't get up for a long time.

"This forest is so big, escaping is already difficult enough, and now I have a terrible headache. It's like when it rains, it pours... Ah!" He lay on the ground sighing at his bad luck, when suddenly a thought flashed through his mind, and he abruptly... He slapped his thigh and exclaimed, "Cui Xiaoxuan, are you stupid?! Are you stupid?! Why didn't you use such a wonderful carriage? You've really ripped off that He fellow!" His spirits lifted, and he scrambled to his feet, chanting a forbidden incantation to summon the Deer-like chariot from his magic pouch. He laughed heartily, "A single piece of Qingying was enough to make those two little demons' eyes turn red; seeing this carriage, their two rosy cherry lips will probably drool!"

Just as he was about to get into the carriage, a sudden howl arose, and thousands of birds in the forest took flight. Xiaoxuan was slightly startled, feeling a tremor in the ground. He quickly looked around, but because the forest was so dense, he couldn't see anything.

The ground trembled again, this time much more violently. Xiaoxuan smelled a strong, fishy odor and thought in alarm, "Could some ferocious beast have arrived?" He hurriedly leaped into the carriage, but after several swings of his Fiery Dragon Whip, the four Deer-like creatures remained frozen like clay statues.

Xiao Xuan was greatly surprised. Just then, he heard a loud cracking sound as trees snapped. A gigantic figure suddenly emerged from behind several large trees and reached out with a claw to grab the four deer-like creatures.

The four deer-like creatures howled in unison. Though rare among beasts and possessing extraordinary composure, they all collapsed, limp and lifeless.

Xiao Xuan nearly fell off the carriage. In the midst of the lurch, his Fiery Dragon Whip whirled out from his sleeve, striking the giant claw attacking the deer-like creature, erupting in a burst of flames.

The monster roared and charged at him.

Xiao Xuan swiftly unleashed his "Blazing Fire," his eight-clawed Fiery Dragon Whip lashing at the monster like a storm.

But the monster was incredibly resilient, its charge unimpeded, reaching him in an instant. Xiao Xuan hastily dodged to the side, but due to the Heavenly Thunder Demon-Slaying Curse, his reaction was slightly slowed, and the monster slammed into him with tremendous force.

Xiao Xuan was instantly thrown from the car, his body seemingly scattered as he crashed into something hard, then bounced heavily to the ground. He tried to get up, but felt his internal organs churning and shifting, all his strength seemingly gone. Worse still, a sharp pain shot through his head, causing him dizziness.

Just then, the monster relentlessly approached, raising its paw to strike. Only then did Xiao Xuan realize that the monster before him was a massive black bear, as large as a small mountain. Despair overwhelmed him, and he closed his eyes in utter sorrow.

"Waaah… I'll never see Shui'er again… My Uncle-Master must be frantic with worry… Xiao Wan is probably being taken away by that Fang guy…" These thoughts flashed through his mind like lightning, and tears welled up.

Suddenly, a strange silence fell around him. Xiao Xuan thought, "Is he dead? He didn't even feel a little pain?"

"Little one, are you hungry?" A beautiful voice rang out from ahead, like celestial music.

Xiao Xuan was momentarily confused, then heard the voice say, "Put your paws down, you can't eat him."

"He doesn't seem to be dead yet... What happened?" Xiao Xuan opened his eyes, still bewildered, and saw a stunningly beautiful figure standing with his back to him.

The giant bear was also staring blankly at this beautiful figure, and its raised paws began to slowly lower.

"Good boy, go play somewhere else," the voice rang out again, gentle as flowing water and soft as a spring breeze.

The giant bear was dumbfounded, its mouth agape.

"Hurry up, or I'll hit you." The voice carried a hint of coquettishness, making Xiao Xuan's heart pound. He suddenly remembered hearing this voice not long ago, and even had a feeling that he had heard it long before.

The giant bear snapped out of its daze and hurriedly turned and ran, but then looked back again and again, seemingly reluctant to leave.

"Such a beautiful figure, she must be an extremely beautiful woman..." Xiao Xuan mused, staring at the figure in front of him.

"Wait, come back!" the woman suddenly called out.

The giant bear immediately ran back joyfully; despite the difference between humans and animals, Xiao Xuan could tell at a glance.

"He's my friend, and he might stay here for a while. You can't scare him anymore... Anyway, stay far away from him," the woman said softly, but her words carried an unquestionable command.

The giant bear obediently nodded.

"Okay, go ahead," the woman said.

The giant bear turned away dejectedly, repeatedly looking back, its small, dark eyes filled with longing.

The woman finally turned around, and in that instant, the entire dark forest seemed to brighten.

Xiao Xuan's heart trembled, and his breath caught in his throat for a moment.

The woman's hair was loosely styled, casually tied with a light blue headband, a teardrop-shaped jade pendant dangling from her forehead. She wore only a simple, wispy, moon-white silk robe, yet her beauty defied description. Phrases like "flowers blush with shame," "fish sink to the bottom of the lake," "a beauty that could topple cities and kingdoms"—all these extreme descriptions paled in comparison. No one could match her countenance and grace.

She possessed the innocence and purity of a young girl, yet also the mature charm of a woman.

She was as noble and elegant as an empress, yet also possessed the allure of a concubine

. She was as pure and innocent as a celestial being, yet also possessed the seductive allure of a demon.

Her figure was slender, yet possessed exquisite lines and captivating contours.

Her skin was like ice and snow, but ice and snow lacked the radiant glow that shone from within her.

Her eyes were like stars and the bright moon, but even more like two bottomless lakes, containing endless mysteries and wisdom.

Her eyebrows, her nose, her lips… every inch of her was exquisitely beautiful and flawless, and together they created a beauty that was breathtaking.

“Heavens…” Xiao Xuan was dumbfounded. How could there be such a beautiful person in the world?

Seeing her, he finally understood what it meant to be perfectly natural and magical.

Xiao Xuan still remembered the amazement he felt when he first met Fei Luo. He had always thought she was the most beautiful woman in the world, and even now, he still couldn't get used to his martial aunt's stunning beauty. However, at this moment, he had to admit that even Fei Luo could not compare to the woman before him. The

stunning woman smiled and gazed at him tenderly. Suddenly, she seemed to shake her head and sighed.

Xiao Xuan couldn't guess her age at all. Perhaps she was only sixteen or seventeen years old to have such a delicate and youthful appearance, but the bewitching and seductive look in her eyes when she looked at people must have been honed over millions of years to be so captivating.

"Are you crying?" the stunning woman said softly, her captivating gaze fixed on his face.

"Who are you?" Xiao Xuan realized for the first time that speaking could be so difficult.

"Xiao Xuan, you've forgotten me again..." the stunning woman sighed softly, suddenly raising her hand to gently wipe away the remaining tears from his face with her sleeve.

"How do you know my name?" Xiao Xuan asked in surprise.

The stunning woman's gaze returned to his eyes, her autumn-water-like eyes seemingly brimming with heartache and pity.

"I... I don't think I've ever seen you before..." Xiao Xuan stammered, then hesitated, "You... do you know me?"

"You..." the stunning woman bit her alabaster lips, sighing softly again, "It seems we have to start all over again..."

Xiao Xuan's heart ached at her sigh.

"That's fine too." The stunning woman smiled, her smile as radiant as the most beautiful flower in the world blooming, "We can enjoy it all again." Xiao Xuan felt a strange

flutter in his heart, a sense of soul melting away.

A stunningly beautiful woman approached, circling him as if to herself, seemingly muttering, "Where could it be?"

Xiao Xuan was completely bewildered.

Suddenly, the woman pressed herself against him from behind, her arms encircling his front, her icy, delicate fingers emerging from her sleeves to grasp the knot of his belt.

Xiao Xuan's heart pounded. "What...what are you going to do?"

he asked. The woman remained silent, untying the knot and loosening the belt around his waist.

Despite knowing the consequences of revealing his innate Tai Xuan cultivation, and despite having no idea who this strange woman was, Xiao Xuan simply let her do as she pleased, feeling no wariness or unease whatsoever.

Since learning he was a descendant of the Xuanhu, he had never felt so relaxed and at peace.

"I thought I'd lost it, but it's just being covered up by this," the woman murmured, turning back to the front and gently removing the Flame-Washed Silk from his waist. In an instant, a radiant glow shone through, softly illuminating her face and clothes.

She lowered her eyes and gazed at him, lost in thought, remaining silent for a long time.

The two were very close, and Xiao Xuan was immersed in an intoxicating fragrance he had never smelled before. Looking at the peerless beauty so close to him, he couldn't help but wonder if he was dreaming.

The stunningly beautiful woman wrapped the Flame-Washed Silk around his waist, carefully straightened his exposed clothes, and retied the belt, tying it into a knot far more elegant than before.

Suddenly, Xiao Xuan felt an overwhelming sense of closeness with this woman, an urge to embrace her rising within him.

The woman looked up, her eyes brimming with joy: "Alright, as long as it's still there, no one can completely destroy you."

"Sister... what's your name?" Xiao Xuan couldn't help but ask.

"Have you really forgotten everything?" The woman's voice was soft as water, with a hint of playfulness: "I won't tell you, just call me sister if you can't remember."

Could they have really met before? Or had she mistaken him for someone else? Xiao Xuan pondered deeply.

"This is for you." The woman suddenly produced an object, as black as ink and shaped like a token.

"What is this?" Xiao Xuan asked in surprise.

"Take it." The woman handed it to him.

Xiao Xuan took it, but it was surprisingly heavy, feeling quite cumbersome in his hand.

The stunningly beautiful woman said, "This is a Demon-Summoning Token. I've selected thirteen sinful demons from the Imperial Prison and kept them there. In times of crisis, you can summon them to help you. There are incantations on the token; you can look at them yourself in your spare time." As she spoke, she suddenly pressed two fingers together and gently touched his brow.

Xiao Xuan felt something flash through his mind and asked in astonishment, "What are you doing?"

"I'm breaking the seal for you so you can see what's on the token, and only you can see it," the woman said.

Xiao Xuan looked at the token; it was wider at the top and narrower at the bottom, over a foot long, and carved with many exquisitely colored patterns—various kinds of demons and monsters. Near each pattern were small characters, seemingly explanations and incantations.

Suddenly, his gaze fell on a white-headed, barefoot monster resembling an ape, and he exclaimed in surprise, "Is this a Zhu Yan?" Looking at the inscription beside it, it noted: "Ma Hua, guilty of rebellion, sentenced to 5,900 years in prison. Skilled in battle, with 300 clan soldiers."

The Zhu Yan is an extremely powerful ancient beast, said to summon war at its very sight. Xiao Xuan was filled with doubt; could this decree really summon such a terrifying creature?

"Yes, that's right, it's a famous general of the Zhu Yan clan who started a rebellion. But don't worry, although these thirteen sinful demons have bad tempers, they have all sworn to me to atone for their sins, and they have all placed different powerful restrictions on me, so there will definitely be no backlash," the beautiful woman said, as if stating something perfectly ordinary.

What kind of supernatural power was this? Xiao Xuan found it hard to believe, but he instinctively felt that the beautiful woman before him would not deceive him, and couldn't help but ask again, "Why did you give me this?"

"Because right now you are like a newborn infant, your power is far too weak..." the beautiful woman said with a smile.

Xiao Xuan blushed.

"But I'm not by your side, so you can only rely on yourself for now, and the thirteen sinful demons on this decree can help to some extent," the beautiful woman continued.

"Sister, why...why are you so good to me?" Xiao Xuan was bewildered, and suddenly asked, "Are you sure you haven't mistaken me for someone else?"

"Xiao Xuanxuan," the beautiful woman smiled, "Do you think I called you by the wrong name?"

"I'm not called Xiao Xuanxuan, I'm called Cui Xiaoxuan! Could it be that you've mistaken me for...that Xuanxuanzi!" Xiao Xuan shouted, feeling a pang of disappointment.

The beautiful woman smiled at him, her fingertips gently tracing his face.

"Is that so?" Xiao Xuan asked excitedly, feeling a pang of jealousy towards the Xuanxuanzi he had never met.

"Silly boy," the beautiful woman chuckled, her eyes showing tenderness again. Suddenly, she exclaimed, "Are you injured?"

"No," Xiao Xuan raised his voice.

"Let me take a look," the beautiful woman said softly, her jade-like fingers moving upwards, gently landing on his temple.

Xiao Xuan suddenly felt a soft, warm current flowing from the side of his head, so comfortable that he could barely keep his eyelids open. A strong wave of drowsiness washed over him, and his consciousness gradually blurred.

Chapter Eight: The Enchanted Forest

When Xiao Xuan awoke, a beam of sunlight, filtering through the dense foliage, gently shone on his face, a warm and comforting sensation that felt wonderful.

Huh? The persistent buzzing in his ears had completely vanished, and the nauseating pain in his head was gone. Not only that, but he felt refreshed and full of energy.

Xiao Xuan sat up abruptly, looking around.

The deer-like carriage was still beside him, the four deer-like creatures lying peacefully. But where was that beautiful woman?

Was he just dreaming?

As he was filled with doubt and uncertainty, he suddenly noticed a jet-black token beside him.

It wasn't a dream after all.

Xiao Xuan was overjoyed, holding the token and carefully recalling the events of the previous day, sometimes filled with deep confusion, sometimes giggling foolishly.

What exactly happened? He vaguely felt that it was related to Xuan Xuanzi, and that he was a descendant of the Xuanhu, and he couldn't help but feel anxious and uncertain.

However, he was no longer so resentful and lost. Not everyone in the world wanted him dead. He still had his incredibly beautiful and powerful older sister to help him, and he still had Fei Luo.

Thinking of Fei Luo, Xiao Xuan couldn't help but feel anxious. Looking at the sky, it seemed that it was already past noon. If she returned to the inn and couldn't find him, she would probably be worried to death.

Where exactly was this huge forest? Escaping as quickly as possible was the most important thing at hand.

He put the Demon-Summoning Token into his Ruyi Pouch, leaped onto the Deer-like Shu chariot, lashed out the Flaming Dragon Whip, and drove the chariot into the air. Seeing that all around was a vast sea of forest, he randomly picked a direction and sped off.

This forest was unbelievably large. The Deer-like Shu was extremely fast, but after flying for most of the day, he still saw almost the same scenery, everywhere was dense green.

Suddenly, the sea of forest below seemed to surge like waves, and large swathes of trees were swaying and bending as if hit by a gale. Xiao Xuan was surprised and immediately descended the chariot to observe.

Suddenly, a small figure in purple flashed by, disappearing into the surging, turbulent forest before he could even make out her.

"Was that them?" Xiao Xuan's heart skipped a beat. He quickly spurred his chariot towards them, when suddenly a deafening roar erupted. The four deer-like creatures abruptly stopped, huddled together in terror, refusing to move an inch further.

"It sounds like that big black bear's roar... Ah! Oh no, could it be two little butterflies that bumped into that giant bear?" He was filled with alarm and whipped his chariot several times, but the four deer-like creatures stubbornly refused to approach. Finally, he leaped out of his chariot and plunged into the forest.

As he approached, Xiao Xuan suddenly felt a strong, foul-smelling wind sweep by, pulling him downwards rapidly. In an instant, he had passed through the dense canopy of trees. He quickly lashed out with his whip, wrapping it around a thick tree trunk and suspending himself in mid-air. He was horrified to see the forest littered with broken and mangled trees. Sure enough, the giant bear, as large as a small mountain, was rampaging wildly, chasing after two girls in colorful robes—Zi'er and Bi'er.

The sisters, their hair disheveled and faces pale, fought desperately with their weapons, but they were clearly no match for the bear. They could only dodge and weave through the forest, but the strong winds emanating from the bear's nose and mouth prevented them from escaping. Instead, they were being pulled around like butterflies in a storm, constantly in danger.

Seeing the perilous situation, Xiao Xuan had no time to think. He released his whip, pushed off with his feet, and flew towards the bear's back.

At this moment, Bi'er, who was struggling to hold on, suddenly ran out of energy, her body swayed slightly, and she was swept up by a strong wind, screaming as she flew straight into the giant bear's arms.

Zi'er was terrified. Ignoring the danger, she leaped after the bear and grabbed her sister. However, their momentum continued, and the two of them crashed into the bear's gaping maw.

At that moment, Xiao Xuan was already behind the bear, gathering all his inner energy and lashing out with his whip at the bear's massive, fat rump.

Flames surged, and the Eight-Clawed Fiery Dragon Whip almost completely embedded itself in the bear's buttocks. Xiao Xuan, still feeling it wasn't thorough enough, poured more of his fiery inner energy into the whip, using a "seize" technique. The scales on the whip immediately snapped back, tearing a large chunk of fat from the bear's rump, fur and all.

The bear let out a bloodcurdling howl, furiously turning around. The Zi and Bi sisters escaped their fate, crashing heavily into its furry neck. Far from being injured, they found it surprisingly satisfyingly soft and yielding. But they dared not linger, and quickly flew away.

The two sisters, their faces pale, fled to a distance, secretly relieved. But then they saw the giant bear suddenly fall silent, its head bowed, staring blankly at something. They were greatly surprised. Bi'er, still shaken, asked, "What's that guy doing? Has it suddenly gone mad?"

Xiao Xuan, his whip raised high, was about to strike again, but seeing the giant bear just staring at him with its mouth agape, he felt a little embarrassed and shouted, "You were the one who ambushed Grandpa Sheng first! Now we're even! We'll fight him three hundred rounds!"

The giant bear suddenly took a step back, then another, then abruptly turned and ran away, abandoning the three of them.

The two sisters, still dumbfounded, saw Cui Xiao Xuan, who was also stunned.

After a while, the two sisters flew towards Xiao Xuan.

"Did you chase that big bear away?" Zi'er asked, staring at him.

Xiao Xuan then came to his senses, and with a majestic flick of his sleeve and wrist, he smoothly retracted the Fiery Dragon Whip into his arm.

"Why did that bear run away as soon as it saw you?" Bi'er asked, her gaze at him different than usual.

Xiao Xuan didn't answer, instead giving a mysterious smile.

"So... Brother Xiao Bai is really amazing!" Zi'er said, her eyes glazed.

"Let's go." Xiao Xuan turned around.

"Where to?" Bi'er asked blankly, her gaze fixed on him as if melting.

"To take you away from here." Xiao Xuan said in a deep, magnetic voice.

******************

A strong wind blew in, making the clothes and hair of the three people riding through the forest flutter.

"Are those four monsters really Deer-like creatures?" Zi'er asked loudly, looking ahead at the carriage.

"Absolutely." Xiao Xuan smiled, flicking his Flaming Dragon Whip in the air, startling the four Deer-like creatures into running even faster.

"Brother Xiao Bai is so amazing, he has so many treasures, and this whip is so beautiful." Bi'er whispered, clinging gently to his arm.

"Now you know I wasn't bragging." Xiao Xuan said proudly.

“We never thought Brother Xiaobai was bragging,” Bi’er said, blinking her big, watery eyes.

“Stop talking nonsense,” Xiao Xuan scoffed. “Who just abandoned me and ran off?”

“Oh dear! We came back to find you, otherwise we wouldn’t have run into that big bear. You can ask your sister if you don’t believe me,” Bi’er said hurriedly, seemingly extremely aggrieved.

Xiao Xuan glanced at Zi’er.

“It’s true, we got lost because we came back to find you,” Zi’er said sweetly, seemingly leaning against him from the other side.

Xiao Xuan’s heart fluttered, a sense of elation washing over him. Seeing their drastically changed attitude towards him, he couldn’t help but realize: “So when a man is really capable, girls will flock to him like this.”

“This forest is really strange. The deer-like creatures run so fast, yet we still haven’t seen the end of it,” Zi’er added.

Bi'er suddenly pointed and exclaimed, "Look! There seem to be houses over there!"

Xiao Xuan and Zi'er turned to look and indeed saw a clearing in the woods to their right, with several low houses and a vegetable garden enclosed by a bamboo fence behind them.

"Let's go take a look and ask someone for directions," Xiao Xuan said happily. He immediately turned the carriage around and drove the deer-like creature there.

When they got closer, the three of them saw an old man watering and hoeing the garden. Xiao Xuan then landed the carriage on a clearing next to the garden.

Xiao Xuan jumped off the carriage and saw that the old man had white hair, white eyebrows, and a white beard, with a gray-blue gourd hanging from his waist. Apart from his messy hair, he had an air of otherworldly wisdom. Xiao Xuan quickly stepped forward, bowed respectfully, and said with a smile, "Old immortal, I'm sorry to bother you." The old man

slowly raised his eyes but did not answer.

Xiao Xuan assumed the old man was hard of hearing due to his advanced age, and called out loudly again, "Old man, may I ask where this place is?"

The old man, leaning on his hoe, looked at him, his eyes under his white eyebrows suddenly narrowing.

"Could it be that this old man's hearing is really bad?" Xiao Xuan thought to himself, and then raised his voice a little higher, "Old man, do you know how to get out of this big forest? We're lost!"

"Why are you so loud? The old man isn't deaf!" the old man snorted.

"Oh, so you can hear me." Xiao Xuan quickly lowered his voice and said with a smile, "If you hadn't spoken, I would have misunderstood. May I ask where this place is? Is there a way out?"

"This forest is called the Lost Forest, there's no way out," the old man said.

"No way out?" Xiao Xuan was stunned.

"If there's no way out, how do you usually get out?" Bi'er interjected from the side.

The old man picked up a gourd from his waist, uncorked it, and took a sip.

"Hey! I'm asking you a question!" Bi'er shouted.

The old man seemed not to hear, and leisurely took another sip.

Bi'er was furious, hands on her hips, about to explode, but then she saw Xiao Xuan glare at her fiercely. For some reason, she suddenly felt intimidated and swallowed the rest of her words.

"Wow, smells so good! What are you drinking, old man?" Xiao Xuan asked with a smile.

"Wine," the old man replied.

Xiao Xuan swallowed hard, his eyes fixed on the gourd in the old man's hand.

"Want some?" The old man glanced at him and said, "Want a sip?"

"Sure!" Xiao Xuan was overjoyed, took the gourd, and gulped down a large mouthful. He suddenly felt a sweet, spicy sensation in his throat and a warm, lingering feeling in his stomach. He exclaimed, "Good wine! Good wine! What kind of wine is this? What's its name?" "

It's just homemade wine, it doesn't have a name," the old man said.

"Good wine! Good wine! Let me have another sip." Xiao Xuan praised as he drank, saying "one sip" but actually taking one sip after another. He finally stopped, but showed no intention of returning the gourd. Smacking his lips and squinting his eyes, he said, "It tastes a bit like earth and hay, tsk tsk tsk! Wonderful! Wonderful!"

The two sisters beside him stared at him, unable to understand why he would praise a wine with an earthy and hay taste, and even more unable to understand how he could still be in the mood for drinking.

"Hiss... I've never drunk this wine before, but why do I feel like I've drunk it somewhere before?" Xiao Xuan frowned, then suddenly seemed to realize something: "Hmm, so all the good wines in the world are like this!"

The old man smiled at him, then suddenly said something inexplicable: "It really is you."

"What did you say?" Xiao Xuan didn't understand.

"Sigh..." The old man sighed softly, his eyes filled with a sense of vicissitude and desolation.

"Old man, you should also try my wine." Xiao Xuan chanted a forbidden incantation, took out a small wine bottle from his magic pouch, uncorked it, and handed it to the old man.

The old man took it, smelled it, took a small sip, closed his eyes and savored it for a moment before slowly swallowing.

"How is it?" Xiao Xuan asked eagerly.

"Good stuff, not bad," the old man nodded.

Xiao Xuan's head immediately swelled, and he said smugly, "It's wonderful, isn't it? This wine has a good name, called 'Heavenly Immortal Three-Step Softness,' and I brewed it myself."

The old man shook his head and said, "What I mean is, the ingredients for brewing are good, but unfortunately, the brewing method is wrong, and the ingredients are wasted."

Xiao Xuan was speechless for a while before saying, "What's wrong? Please tell me."

The old man said, "There are many reasons, but the most important one is that you don't know how to separate the dross and retain the essence, and you don't know the secret of refining, resulting in both mud and jade being mixed together."

Xiao Xuan blushed and said, "Easy for you to say. Do you know the secret of separating the dross and retaining the essence?"

"Of course," the old man smiled.

"I still have the ingredients for brewing this wine! Do you dare to show me?" Xiao Xuan said unconvinced.

“What’s so difficult about that?” the old man said. “Come with me.”

“Hey, what’s wrong with you? You’re still thinking about such nonsense at a time like this,” Bi’er said.

“What’s the rush? I don’t believe this old man can brew better wine than me with the same ingredients,” Xiao Xuan said.

“This old man seems a bit strange,” Zi’er said, looking around.

The three of them sat down at a wooden table and whispered among themselves.

“How so strange?” Xiao Xuan asked.

“Look, this forest is so vast, with many fierce birds and beasts, yet he lives here all alone. Don’t you find that suspicious?” Zi’er said.

“I think so too,” Bi’er added. “These rooms seem fine, but I feel like something’s not quite right. We should leave quickly.”

The room they were in was extremely simple, with nothing but a table and four chairs.

“What are you afraid of! As long as I’m here, no one can touch you!” Xiao Xuan said.

He was just talking offhand, but he had an inexplicable air of nonchalance. Zi’er and Bi’er stared at him, their eyes wide with surprise.

“Brother Xiaobai…you’ll protect us, right?” Bi’er asked.

“Of course, with Grandpa Saint’s strength, it’s more than enough.” Xiao Xuan boasted shamelessly, forgetting for a moment that he was already a clay bodhisattva in the face of such beauty.

“Then…can you do us a favor?” Zi’er asked, glancing at him.

“What favor? Just tell me!” Xiao Xuan said.

“We’re going to fight someone in a few days, can you come and help us?” Zi’er asked, her eyes full of expectation.

“No problem.” Xiao Xuan answered immediately, but then became wary: “But why should I help you fight for no reason?”

“Because we’re good friends.” Zi’er said sweetly.

“Come on, we’ve only met by chance, we’ve known each other for less than a day.” Xiao Xuan said.

“But…we two sisters are very pretty, aren’t we? If you’re good to us, maybe…we’ll repay you someday.” Bi’er stared at him sweetly, her cheeks slightly flushed, her voice full of temptation.

To everyone's surprise, Xiao Xuan snorted and rolled her eyes, saying, "Save it. Not to mention my master and uncles, even my senior sisters are a hundred times prettier than you."

"You...you're talking nonsense!" Bi'er's face changed drastically, and she was about to jump up.

Zi'er quickly pulled her back from below and smiled at Xiao Xuan, "Really? I don't believe it. How about you take us to see them sometime?"

"No problem, no problem at all." Xiao Xuan's chest ached as she spoke, and her smile froze slightly.

This subtle reaction did not escape the eyes of the two sisters.

"By the way, didn't you say you were unaffiliated with any sect? Where did all these masters, uncles, and senior sisters come from?" Zi'er laughed.

Xiao Xuan was stunned.

"Oh! You were lying after all!" Bi'er exclaimed, her expression softening considerably.

"Huh, why is it taking so long? That old man didn't just take my Red Jade Fruit and run away, did he?" Xiao Xuan changed the subject, a sudden worry creeping into her heart.

"Hey, where did you get that string of Red Jade Fruits?" Bi'er asked.

“A…a truly good friend gave it to me,” Xiao Xuan said, his heart burning with sweet warmth. The image of her beautiful, smiling face flashed before his eyes, and he suddenly felt an overwhelming longing.

Just then, the old man suddenly entered from outside, carrying a wine pot and several cups. He said, “It’s done. Although it was a bit rushed, the flavor is finally there.”

Xiao Xuan slowly swallowed the wine, dumbfounded.

“How is it?” the old man asked with a smile. “How does it compare to your Heavenly Immortal Three-Step Soft Wine?”

Xiao Xuan suddenly stood up, bowed deeply to him, and sighed, “It’s worlds apart. I humbly admit defeat. May I ask your esteemed name, venerable immortal?”

“I live a secluded life, and I’ve long forgotten my name. For the past few hundred years, some people have called me White-Browed Old Man,” the old man said.

“For several hundred years?” Xiao Xuan exchanged a glance with the two women and said, “Old man, you truly are an immortal.”

“Immortals…immortals are all just fleeting clouds,” White-Browed Old Man stroked his beard and sighed.

Xiao Xuan was taken aback, sensing a deeper meaning behind these words, but couldn't find the words to respond. He then smiled and said, "It's a pity there's nothing to go with the wine right now, otherwise it would taste even better."

"Very well, since you've come from afar, and it's an old friend returning, let me prepare a few dishes to entertain you, old man." The old man said, then walked towards the door.

"An old friend returning? What is this

old man with white eyebrows talking about?" Zi'er asked curiously. "I feel like there's something hidden in his words," Bi'er said, frowning.

"I don't understand either..." Xiao Xuan wondered, "But I don't think he means us any harm."

Not long after, the old man with white eyebrows returned, carrying a plate with several dishes: a plate of poached chicken, a plate of bitter melon stir-fried with eggs, a plate of stir-fried bamboo shoots, a plate of fried wild mushrooms, and a bowl of tofu soup—all visually appealing and fragrant.

It was well past noon, and the three of them were already starving, so they immediately began to eat heartily.

The old man with white eyebrows accompanied them, only occasionally picking up a few bites and slowly drinking his wine.

Although the dishes were all ordinary, they were made exceptionally delicious. The three ate with great relish, praising the White-Browed Old Man's extraordinary skills.

Xiao Xuan ate and drank, her face beaming with joy, as happy as an immortal.

Seeing Xiao Xuan praising the wine, the two butterfly spirits clamored for some. After one taste, their cups were never empty, and the two sisters drank back and forth, thoroughly enjoying themselves.

Xiao Xuan felt sorry for them drinking so much and couldn't help but try to snatch the wine pot, saying, "No more drinking!"

"What are you doing?" Bi'er hid the wine pot behind her back, grinning, "Why are you jumping on me?"

Xiao Xuan was embarrassed and glared at her, "This wine is made from the fruit of the Red Jade Grass. Aren't you afraid of getting drunk?"

"Don't worry, Princess, we can drink a thousand cups without getting drunk," Bi'er said in a sarcastic tone.

Zi'er said excitedly, "Why don't the three of us have a contest? Let's see who goes down first!"

"Okay, okay! The first one to go down is the little dog," Bi'er said happily.

"Fine, fine! You won't listen, don't blame me if you feel unwell later!" Xiao Xuan said angrily.

"Hmm! Sister, listen to me." Bi'er pointed to her nose and said, "He keeps saying we'll get drunk."

"That's hilarious, let's ignore him!" Zi'er snorted, stretching out her lotus-root-like white arms with their high-rolled sleeves: "Abi, bring me the wine pot, I want to see who dares to steal my things!"

In the ninth chapter, on a beautiful rainy night,

Xiao Xuan, having no other choice, had to abandon his desire to steal the wine and turned to the White-Browed Elder to inquire about the method of brewing wine, and then discussed the extraction of ingredients.

"If you don't know the method of extraction, it's like wasting precious resources. For example, if you put the Red Jade Grass fruit directly into the wine, you're ruining something excellent," the White-Browed Elder said, taking two small paper packets from his sleeve and handing them to Xiao Xuan. "Here you go."

Xiao Xuan was startled, took them, and opened them, seeing two piles of fine powder, one purple and one red. He asked in surprise, "What are these?"

The White-Browed Elder said, "I've already extracted the pulp of your Red Jade Grass fruit for you to use in the wine. This purple powder is the essence extracted from the seeds, and the red powder is the essence extracted from the peel. Both have their uses and are excellent materials for making talismans and medicines."

Xiao Xuan's mouth dropped open.

"As long as you know the method of extraction, you can make the most of everything. Good things shouldn't be wasted," the White-Browed Elder said.

"I just threw the Red Jade Grass Fruit into the wine and drank it all in one go, but you, sir, not only brewed a better wine, but also extracted two more ingredients. You're truly amazing, truly incredible!" Xiao Xuan said with great admiration. The

White-Browed Old Man smiled and said, "Skilled in extraction can even turn the rotten into the miraculous, let alone a top-grade ingredient like the Red Jade Grass Fruit."

"So... you're a master of talisman making, sir?" Xiao Xuan asked respectfully.

"I'm not," the White-Browed Old Man stroked his beard and said, "But I have a few disciples who are."

Xiao Xuan was stunned for a moment, his admiration growing even stronger. Suddenly, he exclaimed, "Ah, there's something I need your help to take a look at." With that, he chanted a forbidden incantation, opened his Ruyi Pouch, and pointed into the air. A flash of blue shadow appeared, and an enormous bird of astonishing size suddenly appeared, instantly filling half the room.

The two girls beside him were startled. Looking closely, they realized it was dead. Zi'er exclaimed, "It looks like a phoenix!"

"Heavens! It's so big! It must be several thousand years old!" Bi'er patted her chest.

"No, only a little over a thousand," the old man with white eyebrows said, his eyes fixed on the ground.

"Uncle, can you help me see what materials can be extracted from this big bird?" Xiao Xuan asked hopefully.

The old man with white eyebrows stepped forward and examined the corpse of the Seven-Flame Spirit Phoenix. He said, "Originally, at least a hundred kinds of materials could have been extracted, but unfortunately you didn't preserve it well. Now, I'm afraid we can only extract a dozen or even just a few."

"Waaah..." Xiao Xuan felt extremely distressed.

"This phoenix was no ordinary creature. Now that its spiritual essence is lost, if it's not dealt with soon, we're afraid there will be nothing left," the old man with white eyebrows added.

"Ah!" Xiao Xuan said anxiously, "Then... Uncle, could you help me deal with it? We can split what we extract in half." "

Split in half?" Zi'er exclaimed, running to him and blinking her beautiful eyes frantically.

"What? Go away!" Xiao Xuan shoved her aside in annoyance.

"Hmm..." Old Man Bai Mei pondered for a moment, then said, "Alright, then this old man will stretch his muscles. It's been a long time since I've handled something so big."

Zi'er sat down slumped down beside him, gritting her teeth and whispering to Bi'er, "That idiot is a complete moron, actually splitting such a precious thing in half with someone else!"

"How long will it take to deal with this big bird?" Xiao Xuan asked.

"At least one night, at most three days," Old Man Bai Mei said.

"Okay, I'll come back for it in a couple of days," Xiao Xuan said.

"A couple of days?" Old Man Bai Mei frowned slightly, "You want to leave here?"

"Yes!" Xiao Xuan suddenly seemed to remember something and hurriedly said, "By the way, old man, could you tell us how to leave this forest?"

"There's no way," Old Man Bai Mei said.

"No way?" Xiao Xuan was taken aback, forcing a smile. "Old man, are you joking?"

"This forest is called the Enchanted Forest, meaning that the pure remain pure, and the lost remain lost. For the pure, this forest is only a short distance away, easily crossed in a step. But for the lost, well, this forest is boundless and endless, impossible to leave for eternity," said the White-Browed Old Man.

Xiao Xuan and the other two were dumbfounded. Bi'er sneered, "I don't believe it. There's no such forest in the world."

The old man with white eyebrows ignored her, squinting at Xiao Xuan and saying, "Old man, you look so confused and lost right now. I'm afraid you won't be able to leave this forest. Why don't you stay here?"

"No!" Xiao Xuan was terrified. "Absolutely not! My martial uncle is waiting for me."

He became more and more anxious. He couldn't stay any longer and suddenly said to the two girls, "I'm leaving. Are you coming too?"

"Yes, we have important things to do." Zi'er said, leaning on the table to stand up with Bi'er. They were obviously drunk, and both of them were swaying a little.

Xiao Xuan bowed to the old man with white eyebrows and said, "Thank you for your hospitality, sir. I

'll visit you again another day." "If you can't get out, come back to me." The old man with white eyebrows smiled, his smile unfathomable.

Xiao Xuan looked at his smile with some suspicion and said, "No need to worry." He turned and walked towards the door.

"Thank you so much, old man! Your cooking is delicious. We'll remember you." Bi'er said to Bai Mei Weng with a smile, but Zi'er pulled her hand and hurriedly chased after Xiao Xuan.

Xiao Xuan went outside, summoned the Deer-Shu Carriage, and leaped onto it.

"Hey, wait for us!" Zi'er called out, and the two sisters spread their jade arms and flew onto the carriage like butterflies.

Bai Mei Weng stood at the door, his hands behind his back, watching the Deer-Shu Carriage fly into the air until it disappeared.

"He's gone?" A heavenly voice suddenly rang out behind him.

Bai Mei Weng immediately turned around, and there was now a stunningly beautiful woman in the room. He was slightly taken aback, and hurriedly lifted the hem of his robe and knelt down, saying, "I did not know that the Empress was coming. I have failed to greet

you properly. I hope the Empress will punish me." "Get up. There is no need for such formalities between us," the stunningly beautiful woman said.

The old man with white eyebrows stood up and said, "Your Majesty, you've come for him?"

The beautiful woman replied, "He must leave, doesn't he?"

"Yes," the old man with white eyebrows nodded, "but he can't leave. I've changed the restrictions; no matter which direction he goes, he'll eventually return to me."

"You're very thoughtful," the beautiful woman said.

"Alas... he's not what he used to be, and the outside world is fraught with danger," the old man with white eyebrows sighed.

"Our realm is facing a once-in-a-lifetime calamity, and I cannot afford to be distracted. His safety is in your hands," the beautiful woman said.

"Your Majesty, rest assured, there's no need for your orders. Just for the kindness he showed me at Phoenix Cliff that day, I, the old man with white eyebrows, should be willing to give my life," the old man with white eyebrows said.

"Many have come this time, and they are of considerable importance. If you need any assistance, just tell me," the beautiful woman said.

The old man with white eyebrows pondered for a moment, then said, "No need. I only ask that the Heavenly Court and the Western routes be withdrawn by the Holy Empress. I can handle the rest."

The beautiful woman nodded and said, "As far as I know, Chong Yuanzi also plans to descend Phoenix Cliff. Do you want to deal with him yourself?"

"He's coming too?" The old man with white eyebrows frowned and said, "Then... I ask the Holy Empress to help with this route as well. That fellow has a technique specifically designed to restrain me, and I still haven't figured out a way to break it."

"Alright," the beautiful woman said.

"The Holy Empress just said that our realm is facing a calamity that is unprecedented in ten thousand generations?" the old man with white eyebrows asked.

"Yes," the beautiful woman replied.

"Where does this calamity come from? What is its origin?" the old man with white eyebrows continued to ask.

The stunningly beautiful woman said solemnly, "I don't know. The elders and venerable ones in our realm have been studying with me for months, yet we still can't figure it out. That's why we know this calamity is no small matter, and our realm cannot afford to be careless."

"Alas... since he suffered such a great calamity, although there are many capable and powerful individuals in our realm, none can share the Holy Empress's burdens," the White-Browed Elder sighed again.

The stunningly beautiful woman remained silent, gently closing her beautiful eyes.

"However, it seems that the Innate Tai Xuan is still there. Let me think of a way to make him stronger quickly," the White-Browed Elder said.

"Absolutely not," the stunningly beautiful woman shook her head, "Forcing growth is never a good thing. Besides, although he is a Xuanhu, he is not a member of our realm. The reason he suffered last time was somewhat related to our realm, for which I have already regretted it deeply. We cannot do it again now."

This time, it was the White-Browed Elder's turn to fall silent.

"Actually, judging from the previous two incarnations of Xuanhu, he was bound to become powerful in this life as well, but I..." the stunning woman sighed, "I wish he would remain weak forever. Perhaps, in time, the gods and Buddhas would forget him."

"Holy Empress... is he really him?" the White-Browed Elder asked, "Or just his descendant?"

The stunning woman pondered, "I don't know. No one can fully fathom the secrets of the Xuanhu lineage, but I always feel that the first and second Xuanhu were the same person, and..." A blush suddenly appeared on her beautiful face, and after a long pause, she said, "He once told me personally that as long as he is here, the next Xuanhu will never appear."

********************

The sun was already setting in the west, and vast expanses of green flashed past below, seemingly endless.

Xiao Xuan drove the chariot at breakneck speed, his face growing increasingly pale.

"Waaah...waaah..."

"Oh...oh..."

The two girls, however, were wildly shouting and screaming, their voices rising and falling, sometimes sweet, sometimes seductive, utterly unrestrained.

"Stop it! It's so noisy!" Xiao Xuan said angrily, "I told you not to drink too much, now look what happened!"

"Hey, are you saying we're drunk?" Zi'er said with a grin, her pink and white arms suddenly wrapping around his neck from behind.

Xiao Xuan was slightly startled and exclaimed, "What? Sit up!"

"I'm drunk, I can't stand up straight." Zi'er said sweetly, clinging to him .

Xiao Xuan's heart pounded, and he shouted again, "Sit up straight!"

"No, I want Brother Xiao Bai to help me!" Zi'er continued to whine and pester him, her soft breasts pressing against his back, her red cherry lips almost touching his ear, exhaling a hot, pungent breath of alcohol.

"Sit up straight! Be careful I fall off the bike!" Xiao Xuan felt hot all over.

Zi'er scoffed, "I'm not afraid, I can fly!"

Xiao Xuan, sweating profusely, suddenly caught a glimpse of Bi'er leaning most of her body out of the carriage, seemingly vomiting. He exclaimed in alarm, "Quick, pull her back! She might tumble down!"

"The carriage is shaking so much, how can I get past?" Zi'er retorted. "Besides, you're closer to her than I am, why don't you pull her yourself?"

"Can't you see I'm driving?" Xiao Xuan roared, his neck bulging. Seeing Bi'er leaning further and further out, he felt a chill and quickly turned to grab her.

Bi'er whirled around and threw herself into his arms.

"Did you throw up?" Xiao Xuan glared at her.

Bi'er looked at him and giggled.

"Now you know how uncomfortable it is!" Xiao Xuan huffed. "I'm driving, both of you sit properly!"

Having two beautiful women clinging to him was undoubtedly a test of willpower.

"Waaah..." Bi'er whimpered, snuggling into his arms like a little kitten. "I'm so uncomfortable, I want Brother Xiaobai to hold me."

Zi'er let go of him, but climbed onto the seat and stood up high, waving her arms and shouting, "Whoosh...whoosh...I want to fly...I want to fly...I want to fly to the sky..." Xiao Xuan was terrified and shouted angrily, "Get down! Do you want to be blown off by the wind?"

"Would you be heartbroken if I fell?" Zi'er said with a grin.

"Heartbroken my foot! I'm not your father!" Xiao Xuan shouted with a dark face.

Zi'er actually jumped up on the seat, singing and dancing, her purple dress and black hair stretched straight by the wind.

Xiao Xuan's face turned pale, and he roared, "Stop going crazy!"

Zi'er ignored him, jumping higher and higher with more joy.

"Stop it, okay?" Xiao Xuan said tremblingly, his voice much softer.

"Then are you heartbroken?" Zi'er stared at him triumphantly.

"My heart aches so much, it's breaking my liver and my heart is shattered! If you fall, I won't live either!" Xiao Xuan cried out in despair.

"You said it, don't go back on your word!" Zi'er giggled, leaping high off the carriage seat and wrapping her arms around his neck again, her soft, hot cherry lips kissing the back of his neck and ear several times.

"Ah, I want some too!" Bi'er, in his arms, suddenly sat up and gave him a few fiery kisses on his chin and neck.

Xiao Xuan felt a shiver run through him, and just as he was feeling overwhelmed, he suddenly stared ahead, speechless. The two girls noticed and looked up, seeing the old man with white eyebrows' houses and vegetable garden.

"Why did we turn back?" Xiao Xuan asked, bewildered.

"Someone wasn't paying attention to driving," Bi'er said with a grin.

Xiao Xuan remembered the old man with white eyebrows' smile and became suspicious. He cracked the whip, turned the carriage around, and sped off into the distance.

But half an hour later, he turned back for the second time.

"What exactly happened?" Xiao Xuan asked, bewildered.

"I have a feeling that old man is strange. You were so generous to him just now!" Zi'er said.

Xiao Xuan turned the carriage around, his face pale.

As the evening glow filled the sky, the Deer-Shu carriage returned to the White-Browed Old Man's house for the third time.

Xiao Xuan was shocked, but his face calmed down.

The White-Browed Old Man's unfathomable smile before he left now looked like a smug mockery in his mind.

"It's getting dark..." Zi'er said, looking around.

By this time, the two girls had sobered up a lot and started to get nervous.

"We can hardly see anything around us, and there are ferocious beasts like giant bears in the forest... Should we go down and rest for the night and make plans tomorrow?" Bi'er said anxiously.

"Absolutely not!" Xiao Xuan said, his face ashen.

"But they're tired after running for so long." Zi'er looked worriedly at the ancient beasts panting in front of the carriage.

But Xiao Xuan had already turned the carriage around and drove off into the distance again.

The entire forest suddenly lit up without warning, followed by a thunderclap and a deluge of large raindrops.

"Ah, it's raining!" Bi'er cried.

"Waaah..." Zi'er covered her head with her hands, crying out, "My hairstyle is ruined! Quick, find somewhere to shelter from the rain!"

"What bad luck, of all times it has to rain..." Xiao Xuan felt a wave of exhaustion. He looked around, but couldn't find any shelter.

"Let's go down and see, maybe there's somewhere to take shelter in the forest," Bi'er said.

Xiao Xuan had no choice but to drive down and fly into the dense forest.

Through the dense foliage, thunder rumbled overhead, and torrential rain poured down, instantly shrouding the dark forest in a misty haze.

The rain lashed down relentlessly, threatening to suffocate them. Xiao Xuan strained his eyes, darting the car around in search of shelter.

Another massive bolt of lightning struck, illuminating the surroundings as if it were daytime. Suddenly, Abi pointed and shouted, "Over there!"

Almost simultaneously, Xiao Xuan spotted a large hole near the base of a nearby tree. He quickly drove over, first helping the two girls into the hole before climbing in himself.

The three of them breathed a sigh of relief, but were soaked to the bone. The hole wasn't large, and the cold, uncomfortable feeling of them huddled together was unbearable.

Xiao Xuan chanted a forbidden incantation, putting the deer-drawn carriage, still outside the cave, into his magic pouch. A wave of dejection washed over him: "Looks like I won't be able to go back tonight… I wonder how worried my master will be if she can't find me… Waaah… It's all my fault for wandering around like this…" "Waaah… It's so cold…" Bi'er groaned pitifully, while Zi'er shivered slightly in the darkness.

The rain, however, grew heavier, the raindrops pounding against the leaves like popping beans,

and gusts of cold wind relentlessly poured into the cave. "They drank a lot of wine, were exposed to the wind for most of the day, and now they're getting soaked in this rain. They're really suffering," Xiao Xuan thought with pity, but there was nothing he could do.

"When will this rain stop? Waaah… I want to go back to the inn… I want to take a hot bath… I want to crawl into a warm bed…" Bi'er murmured in her sleep.

"Whatever their purpose, they got inexplicably trapped in this labyrinthine forest because of me…" Xiao Xuan thought, feeling even more guilty.

"Mmm... Brother Xiaobai's body is so warm..." Zi'er murmured, her soft, delicate body pressed tightly against him, the warmth of their bodies drying the area where they touched.

A sudden inspiration flashed in Xiao Xuan's mind, and he couldn't help but feel delighted. He immediately gathered his inner energy and circulated his Fire-Leaving Mystic Art, instantly warming his body.

"Huh?" The two girls beside him immediately noticed and, like cats rubbing against a fireplace in winter, greedily pressed themselves against him.

Xiao Xuan's body grew increasingly hot, and soon, he had completely dried their soaked clothes. Their previously cold and damp skin became warm and smooth, a wonderfully comfortable touch.

"Mmm... So comfortable..." Zi'er groaned lazily, her voice sweet and alluring.

"So sleepy..." Bi'er also whimpered, her head resting on the man's chest as she yawned repeatedly.

Compared to the cold wind and rain outside, the cave was warm as spring. The three were extremely tired and fell asleep one after another amidst the roaring rain.

After an unknown amount of time, a sudden "Ah!" rang out in the darkness. Xiao Xuan cried out, "Stop it!" Someone had quietly licked his earlobe.

But the other person wouldn't let it go, lightly and playfully licking his left side of the neck. The tongue was wet, slippery, and warm, extremely lively and mischievous.

Xiao Xuan was still half-asleep, and in his hazy state, he couldn't immediately recall which girl was on his left.

The playful little tongue slipped back to his ear, suddenly probing into his earlobe.

Xiao Xuan shuddered, instinctively raising his hand to block, but his elbow bumped into something soft and bouncy. He immediately heard someone cry out, "Ah!"

"What's wrong?" Zi'er's voice came from the other side, languid, clearly just awakened as well.

"Someone secretly touched my chest," Bi'er said sweetly.

"I didn't," Zi'er said with a grin.

Xiao Xuan was utterly embarrassed: "I...I didn't mean to."

"So..." Bi'er pressed close, her cherry lips brushing against his ear, and said seductively, "So you're this naughty."

"I really didn't mean to, it's too narrow in here." Xiao Xuan weakly protested, when suddenly his ear tingled as that slippery little tongue darted in like a fish. He was struck dumb, but this time he dared not move again.

"Hey, Brother Xiao Bai, why are you breathing so heavily?" Zi'er asked from the other side.

"N-nothing...I might have caught a bit...a bit of a cold." Xiao Xuan desperately suppressed his breathing.

"Your heart is beating so fast." Zi'er covered his chest with one hand, then groped and sneaked inside his collar... Xiao Xuan's mouth was dry and his heart was pounding. Just then, someone's thigh came across and landed softly on his slightly swollen penis.

He groaned, instantly becoming erect, his penis like a pillar pressing against the offending leg.

Bi'er chuckled softly in his ear, her pink arm wrapped around his neck suddenly slipping down, and in the blink of an eye, a soft hand grasped his massive member through his trousers.

"Wow!" Bi'er exclaimed in surprise.

"What is it now?" Zi'er asked.

"There's a snake here, it's huge and scary, I caught it." Bi'er said with a grin.

"Really? Where?" Zi'er asked again.

"Here, below Brother Xiaobai, ah! It's still resisting!" Bi'er giggled.

"I'll help you." Zi'er said.

Then another soft, warm hand landed on Xiao Xuan's "big snake," instantly grasping its head.

"Ah! This... so big, really big!" Zi'er exclaimed softly.

"And it's very long..." Bi'er panted, her hand squeezing and kneading incessantly.

"Stop!" Xiao Xuan grunted a warning.

But the two sisters ignored her, their four smooth, soft hands continuing their unrestrained play.

"The head is so big, hee hee, it's still jumping!" Zi'er chuckled.

“So hard…so strong…” Bi’er licked her tongue and panted.

“Ugh…these two little devils are really…too much…” Xiao Xuan’s veins were throbbing, and he was panting heavily, his endurance had reached its limit.

Suddenly, chaos erupted in the pitch-black tree hole, and Zi’er let out a short cry of surprise.

“Sister?” Bi’er called out.

A rustling sound of clothes being undressed came from the darkness.

“Brother Xiao Bai?” Bi’er called again.

The only answer she got was Xiao Xuan’s heavy breathing.

“Ah!” Zi’er suddenly cried out, her voice trembling uncontrollably.

“What’s wrong? What are you doing?” Bi’er asked, reaching out to touch a back that was as taut as iron and was shaking incessantly.

“Ugh…he…he…” Zi’er gasped for breath.

“What is he doing?” Bi’er’s breathing also became rapid.

“He’s bullying me!” Zi’er whimpered, “He’s messing with me!”
