A Dream of Red Mansions: A Fairy Tale of Dreams (Complete) - 8

Chapter Fifteen: Feng Jie's Metamorphosis (Part 1)

Just as Bao Yu was frolicking with the three girls, an official sedan chair slowly entered Zhongzhi Gate, heading straight for the palace. Approaching the imposing gates of the imperial city, the sedan chair gently landed. A quick-witted attendant hurriedly lifted the curtain, and the square-faced Jia Zheng bent down to alight. The long journey had left him exhausted, but he had to immediately go to the palace to see the emperor, bound by imperial orders.
"This humble official, Jia Zheng, has returned to court to report the imperial decree. Please inform the emperor on my behalf, Your Excellency!" Although Jia Zheng was a high-ranking official, he dared not show the slightest disrespect to the gatekeeper eunuch. Being rigid and pedantic did not equate to being foolish! It's easier to see the King of Hell than to deal with his underlings—that's a law of officialdom! Although Jia Zheng was as upright and inflexible as his name suggested, he still understood the basic tactics of officialdom.
"Lord Jia, please wait a moment, this servant will go inside and report immediately!" The gatekeeper eunuchs were even more respectful to this second-rank official than many first-rank officials in the court, because Jia Zheng's status as the emperor's father-in-law, in addition to his official rank, made them even more deferential.
Looking at the gatekeeper eunuchs' respectful expressions, Jia Zheng's anxious heart eased. It seemed the emperor's urgent summons back to the palace wasn't for punishment; otherwise, these well-informed and powerful eunuchs wouldn't be so deferential to him!
After a short while, the chief eunuch of the Imperial City, led by a junior eunuch, hurried out to greet him. "Lord Jia, you've had a long and arduous journey back. This servant greets you!
" "Your Excellency is too kind; I dare not accept such courtesy!" Jia Zheng quickly helped the chief eunuch up as he bowed.
"Please accompany this servant, Your Excellency. The Emperor is waiting for your reply at the Imperial Preceptor's residence." The chief eunuch didn't explain further, and continued walking forward before his words were finished.
Jia Zheng was slightly taken aback, but didn't suspect anything. It was common knowledge that the Emperor was obsessed with the ethereal Daoist arts, but he couldn't believe that the ruler of the land would be so absurd as to handle state affairs at the Imperial Preceptor's residence!
Sighing inwardly, Jia Zheng, following closely behind the old eunuch, secretly resolved to give the Emperor a good talking-to when the opportunity arose.
An hour later, a stern-faced Jia Zheng walked out of the palace and mechanically entered his official sedan chair. He said in a slightly stiff, calm voice, "Lift the sedan chair, return to the residence!" His attendants exchanged slightly surprised glances, but Jia Zheng was usually meticulous and taciturn, so they didn't think too much of it, instead secretly laughing at their own paranoia! The lord was just going to the palace to see the Emperor; what could be wrong with that?! No longer pondering, the attendants turned around, lifted the sedan chair, and quickly headed back to the Jia residence.
As the official sedan chair entered the bustling marketplace, the mere mention of "Second Master Bao" by passersby caused Jia Zheng, inside the chair, to flinch, ultimately bringing an inescapable storm to Bao Yu's life.
"Stop!" Jia Zheng's deep, cold voice startled all his attendants. "Lai Da, go and find out what they're talking about regarding Bao Yu." Lai Da, Jia Zheng's close aide, immediately responded respectfully and hurried into the teahouse. Carelessly, Lai Da secretly wondered what amusing incident this Second Master Bao had gotten himself into this time.
When Lai Da emerged from the teahouse a moment later, his smile had vanished into panic, unsure how to begin.
"Speak! What is it? If you utter a single falsehood, beware of my family's punishment!" Before Lai Da could reply, Jia Zheng had already seen his hesitant expression through the curtain and reprimanded him with barely concealed anger.
Terrified, Lai Da could only stammer as he recounted the rumors of Bao Yu's affair with the capital's most famous actor, even revealing that Bao Yu had previously made a dead woman his concubine, all of which he told Jia Zheng.
"That wretched child!" Jia Zheng suddenly erupted in fury, but instead of shouting, his voice was incredibly somber; a strange, dark glint flashed in his eyes, then swirled and churned in his mind.
Inside the Grand View Garden, Bao Yu, oblivious to the impending doom, was idly wandering around. The servants and maids he encountered still gave him strange looks and ambiguous glances, but he was too lazy to argue, preferring to maintain his carefree mood by heading towards a secluded area with few people.
More than half a year had passed, and Bao Yu hadn't properly explored the Grand View Garden. Overwhelmed with emotion, he stretched and strolled slowly towards the dense woods near the high walls.
Hmm! A faint rustling sound reached Baoyu's ears from the woods. Had his senses not been far superior to ordinary people, he wouldn't have heard such a subtle movement! Slightly surprised, Baoyu was filled with curiosity. How could there be people in such a secluded place? Were they having an affair here?!
Thinking this, Baoyu felt a surge of excitement and thrill! He tiptoed quickly towards the source of the sound, completely oblivious to the shame of peeping, eagerly anticipating the unfolding erotic scene. The nimble-footed
peeping toy peek out, his burning gaze instantly extinguished. There was no naked, open-air sex as he had imagined; it was just two boys, around ten years old, climbing over the wall and into the courtyard.
"Hurry up! If someone sees us, we won't be able to get out!" the boy who had already climbed to the top of the wall urged his companion below.
So it was those two little rascals! Baoyu looked closely and saw that it was Jia Lan, who was usually as well-behaved as a child, and Jia Huan, Tan Chun's younger brother. He couldn't help but chuckle at his earlier wicked speculation.
A thought flashed through his mind, and the still-childlike Baoyu deliberately coughed clearly. Sure enough, the two little ones froze in fright. Jia Lan, who was climbing the wall, panicked and suddenly tripped and fell from the stone he was standing on.
Before Jia Huan on the wall could even cry out, a figure as swift as a whirlwind appeared out of thin air and caught Jia Lan, who was about to fall into a close embrace with the rubble.
Cold sweat broke out on Baoyu's forehead, and he thought to himself, "What a close call!" His little nephew was Wan Jie's darling; if Jia Lan had gotten hurt, that gentle and charming Li Wan would probably turn into a prehistoric dinosaur and chase him to the ends of the earth!
"Second Brother, it's you! You scared us to death!" Jia Huan nimbly climbed down from the wall. Although he hadn't spent much time with Bao Yu, the generous "fake" Bao Yu had always treated him well. Moreover, Aunt Zhao hadn't spoken ill of Bao Yu to Jia Huan recently; on the contrary, she often praised Bao Yu's good points. Jia Huan, a child of about ten years old, naturally lacked his own opinions, and his initial dislike turned into fondness.
Chapter Fifteen: Feng Jie's Metamorphosis (Part Two) "Little brother, are you and Lan'er sneaking out of the manor?" Bao Yu chuckled as he put the pale-faced, still-shaken Jia Lan back on the ground.
Jia Lan's feet touched the ground, but the panic on his face only intensified. He trembled as he said,
"Second Uncle, please don't tell Mother! At most, I won't go out to play, okay?" "Second Brother, you won't tell anyone, right?" The slightly older Jia Huan was clearly the leader of the two, his bright little eyes looking at Bao Yu expectantly.
Looking at the two innocent little faces before him, Baoyu felt a warm glow in his heart, but he deliberately adopted a stern expression, mimicking his elder brother's authority, and said, "You are never allowed to climb over the wall again!" He paused slightly, and seeing the two little faces looking disappointed and listless, he changed the subject and said with a smile, "I said you are not allowed to climb over the wall, but I didn't say you are not allowed to leave the mansion through the side gate. Come with me!" "Yay!" The two little ones cheered in unison and followed Baoyu closely.
An adult and two children approached the nearby side gate. Jia Lan couldn't help but tug at his second uncle's sleeve, saying, "Second Uncle, Mother has instructed us not to let the servants let me out of the manor. What should we do?" "Don't worry! With your second uncle here, everything will be fine!" Bao Yu turned around and solemnly said to the two children, "However, you must be obedient and not cause trouble outside. If you don't, I won't help you anymore!" "Yes!" The two children nodded heavily in agreement. Jia Lan, who had been fatherless since childhood, threw himself into Bao Yu's arms, his longing for his father evident. The image of his father in his heart merged with that of his second uncle before him.
Bao Yu also felt pity for Jia Lan, who was practically an orphan. He affectionately patted the little boy's head, the novel feeling of being an elder stirring his heart with warmth.
The young woman, Liu Shi, greeted Second Master Bao! A middle-aged maidservant emerged from the small hut by the side gate, her respectful face filled with excitement. She never expected that Master Bao would appear at her secluded little doorway.
Baoyu smiled and nodded, gesturing for Liu to rise. After a few words of friendly concern, he noticed that the woman's delicate features suggested she wasn't a cunning person with a two-faced nature. A thought struck him. "Sister Liu, these two want to go out of the manor to play, so I'd like to ask you to take them with you. I'll arrange for someone to look after their safety." Liu was overjoyed. Although this was a significant responsibility, receiving such a trust from Master Bao was undoubtedly an honor. "I will certainly serve the two young masters with all my heart, but..." Liu's tone shifted, tinged with worry. "I'm the only one guarding the door here. What if some master wants to enter or leave through this door? What will I do if I'm not there?" "Mother, you go ahead, I'll guard the door for you!" A sweet, gentle voice came from inside the small house. With that, a tall, beautiful young woman, her face flushed, gracefully emerged from the house.
"Second Master, this is my daughter, Liu Wu'er," Madam Liu led the young girl to Bao Yu, her charming face radiating pride. She softly said to the girl, "Hurry up and greet Second Master Bao!" The girl's bright eyes sparkled, and she shyly bowed her head in a graceful greeting. She had actually recognized Bao Yu when he arrived, but out of girlish modesty, she had remained hidden inside. A woman's natural curiosity compelled the beautiful girl to secretly gaze at him. How could a young woman of sixteen, in the throes of first love, have ever seen such a handsome and extraordinary young man?! Her heart trembled and fluttered, a crack opening in her chest. Emboldened by her mother's hesitant words, Liu Wu'er, her courage growing amidst her inner turmoil, stepped forward shyly, subconsciously wanting Bao Yu to remember this ordinary maid.
Baoyu and Liu Wu'er's eyes met in mid-air. The girl's blushing face startled Baoyu, who was not surprised by her beauty, though he was used to seeing stunning women. Wu'er was indeed delicate and pretty, but not as beautiful as the other beauties in the Grand View Garden. What made Baoyu momentarily stunned was that this girl bore a striking resemblance to Qingwen! Baoyu felt a blur before his eyes, as if Qingwen were standing right in front of him.
Seeing this, Liu Shi was overjoyed. Although she was honest and kind, she couldn't help but have a bit of vanity. If her daughter could become Baoyu's personal maid, or even a concubine, it would be a great blessing for her ancestors!
Liu Wu'er, with her head bowed and eyes lowered, also noticed Baoyu's unusual expression out of the corner of her eye. The girl's heart trembled violently. Baoyu's affection and deep love had already spread throughout the Jia family. His true feelings for Jin Chuan had touched the hearts of countless young girls, making her the object of their dreams.
After a moment of stunned silence, Baoyu focused his gaze and noticed the stark differences between the two women. While Wu'er and Qingwen resembled each other, their temperaments were completely different. Qingwen possessed a refined elegance tempered with fortitude and determination, while Wu'er's aura was more like Xiren's—gentle and soft.
At this moment, Baoyu fully regained his senses. His heart, already filled with the genuine affections of numerous beauties, did not stir any lustful thoughts. A pure appreciation flashed in his deep eyes, and with a faint smile, he handed the large ingot of silver to Liu Shi. Then, with a swift turn, he quickly departed under the girl's wistful gaze.
After this brief interlude, Baoyu lost his interest in strolling. Dejected, he instinctively turned to head towards Fengjie's residence, but stopped abruptly, letting out a heavy sigh of helplessness. "Alas! Forget it," he thought, "it wouldn't be good if I bumped into Jia Lian!"
Although he felt no remorse or concern for Jia Lian, he couldn't ignore Feng Jie's feelings. He wouldn't allow even the slightest discomfort to cause her pain; he, the "fake" Bao Yu, would never do such a thing! He only wanted the women he loved to be happy and joyful, and he absolutely didn't want them to suffer any harm.
Thinking of this, Bao Yu's worried gaze drifted towards Feng Jie's courtyard. He wondered how uncomfortable the beautiful woman would feel facing the heartless Jia Lian. In that instant, a deep affection, like the ocean, flew across the distance to the beautiful young woman. True love is the source of miracles. At the moment Bao Yu felt a heartfelt longing for his beloved, warm emotions broke through the boundaries of space, directly entering the restless heart of Feng Jie.
Feng Jie, who was chatting with Ping'er to relieve her boredom and pondering solutions, suddenly trembled. A warm current flowed through her heart, instantly filling her troubled soul with tenderness, peace, and tranquility. A blush of happiness quietly filled her full face.
"Grandma, what's wrong?" The delicate Ping'er noticed her mistress's sudden change in expression. The happy smile and radiant glow on her face were captivating, even stirring her own heart and filling her with envy.
The clever Ping'er, before Fengjie could answer, had already discerned the reason from her slightly shy eyes. The beauty, who had never experienced the magic of love, was utterly astonished. Was Baoyu really that good?! Was
the power of love really that strong?!
"Nothing!" After a moment of shyness, Fengjie straightened up and regained her resolute nature. Who was she? She was the second mistress of the Jia family, the notoriously fiery and shrewd woman! Strong confidence finally returned to the beauty's mind. Her unwavering gaze pierced the air like a sharp sword. The shrewd and powerful Fengjie reappeared before Ping'er; no difficulty could hinder her family's determination to pursue happiness at this moment!
Since her entanglement with Baoyu's love, the beautiful young woman had been suffocated by the shackles of worldly constraints, and her unspoken, bitter love for Baoyu had plunged her into confusion and sorrow. In the past six months, she had even forgotten her strong nature, becoming a melancholy, fragile woman, her heart churning with emotions.
Love truly is the world's panacea for heartbreak. After they opened their hearts to each other, and under the influence of Baoyu's longing that had just arrived from afar, the long-suppressed fiery spirit returned—the quick-witted, decisive, and capable Second Madam Feng had returned!
Witnessing this miraculous transformation, Ping'er's heart, which had been hanging in suspense, finally settled. Gazing at the familiar, beautiful figure she admired, she knew that nothing could defeat her seemingly weak mistress now! Her steps would always follow the direction she herself had chosen!
"Second Master, I've been looking everywhere for you!" Beiming ran up to Baoyu, panting. "Master has returned home and is looking for you everywhere!" "What? Father has returned home!" Baoyu was slightly taken aback, his eyes flashing with surprise. He hadn't expected that Jia Zheng would return home before Jia Lian did!
"He just got back a little while ago and sent people everywhere to look for you, Second Master," Beiming recalled the extremely solemn look on Lai Da's face when he gave him the order, and said to Baoyu with concern, "Master is looking for you so urgently, has something serious happened? Should I inform the Old Madam?" "No need!" A smug smile appeared on Baoyu's face, and he patted Beiming's shoulder approvingly. "I can handle it. Last time Father was so fierce, didn't I handle it easily?!" Beiming's admiring eyes lit up, and he nodded involuntarily in agreement. The current Second Master Bao was no longer the same as before, so why would Master make things difficult for him?!
"Go back and play, I can go by myself!" Before the words were even finished, Baoyu had already turned and left. His mind raced; he was the "fake" Baoyu, dealing with a pedantic and rigid Jia Zheng would be a piece of cake
, a simple matter. Why bother informing the old lady and making such a fuss?! This confident fellow didn't realize that while he wasn't the original Jia Baoyu, capable of handling anyone in the world, he also hadn't considered that the current Jia Zheng wasn't the original Jia Zheng either. Was a Jia Zheng who had been bewitched by a demonic monk and swallowed a magic talisman still considered "human"?!

Chapter Sixteen: Hatred Leads to the Taking of Mother (Part 1) Inside the hall, Jia Zheng, his face ashen, paced restlessly. A strange voice echoed in his mind, transforming into a subconscious thought etched into his consciousness: "This rebellious son has become so wicked! If he isn't severely punished, he might one day commit patricide and regicide, ruining the century-old foundation of the Jia family!!" Thinking this, Jia Zheng's eyes blazed with dark light. He slammed his hand heavily on the table beside him, his roar sending shivers down the spines of the servants. "Listen to me, you rebellious son!" "The moment he enters the hall, tie him up and beat him severely! Lock the courtyard gate tightly! Anyone who dares to report to the inner courtyard will be killed on the spot!" He paused slightly, then, bursting with rage, added, "No one is allowed to open the gate, not even the Old Madam! Without my order, she is not to open the gate, or she will be beaten to death!" The servants, who had never seen Jia Zheng so enraged, fell silent in fear. Looking at their wrathful master, their hopes of using the opportunity to report to Baoyu vanished completely. They could only silently pray for Baoyu's well-being; if he were to suffer any serious injury, they feared they too would face the Old Madam's wrath in the future!
"How dare you! How dare you block my way to see the master! Get out of my way!" A charming but angry voice rang out at the courtyard gate. The servants, under Jia Zheng's orders, were sweating profusely. They never expected to offend the concubine in such a short time! The gatekeeper sighed his bad luck and deeply lamented his future.
The commotion reached the hall, and Jia Zheng frowned, coldly shouting, "Who's making a scene outside? Get them out of here!" Lai Da, covered in cold sweat, trembled as he replied from outside, "Master, it's Concubine. I couldn't persuade her to leave. Please, Master, intervene!" "Intervene what?! Are you deaf to what I said earlier?!" Jia Zheng waved his hand impatiently, strode to the hall entrance, and roared, "Listen up! Anyone who causes trouble, beat them!" "Master, it's me!" Concubine Zhao cried out excitedly upon hearing Jia Zheng's words. The couple had been separated for several months. She had just run into Bei Ming, who was searching for Bao Yu, and rushed over immediately after hearing the news, wanting only to reunite with her husband. She was furious that she couldn't even get into the courtyard.
"Get out!" Jia Zheng roared furiously, his dark gaze shooting out as if it were a tangible thing. "If you don't know what's good for you, don't blame me for not showing any affection between husband and wife! Guards, throw her out!" The joyful Aunt Zhao instantly turned pale, endless tears streaming down her face. Although she was not particularly talented, she still had some instinctive self-respect. Her heart was filled with great sorrow and pain, and she ran away crying.
"Auntie, what's wrong?" Auntie Zhao had just run around the corner when she bumped into Baoyu. Baoyu asked with genuine concern, "Who bullied you? Let me get revenge for you!" "It's nothing!" The middle-aged woman wiped away her tears shyly. She felt deeply grateful for Baoyu's concern and, not wanting to dwell on her sorrows, changed the subject, "Baoyu, where are you going?" "Father is urgently looking for me, but I don't know what it is." Baoyu smiled nonchalantly, "Father is still waiting for me, I'll go first!" After taking a few steps, Baoyu suddenly stopped, his eyes filled with sincerity, "Auntie, if you have any difficulties, please remember to tell me, I will do my best to help!" Before he finished speaking, his tall figure turned and strode to the courtyard gate, where, led by Lai Da, he walked into the open tiger's mouth.
Hearing Baoyu's sincere words, Aunt Zhao's heart trembled violently. She murmured unconsciously, "Baoyu truly cares for me; he actually called himself 'my child' in front of me for the first time!" A loud slam of the door startled the beautiful woman from her daze. Staring at the closed courtyard gate, she was filled with deep doubt, a thousand thoughts racing through her mind.
"Ah! Oh no!" A sudden flash of insight struck her. A sense of foreboding swirled in Aunt Zhao's heart. Realizing what was happening, she instinctively ran towards the courtyard gate. After a few steps, her alluring eyes darted around. The beautiful woman realized she wasn't important enough; going in would be pointless! The unusually clever Aunt Zhao quickly turned and ran again, but this time, there was no sorrow or resentment in her heart, only a frantic panic and anxiety.
As soon as Baoyu stepped into the hall, the two doors behind him suddenly slammed shut with a loud "bang." Sensing something was wrong, before he could even utter a sound of protest, several burly, wolf-like servants pounced on him and pinned him to the ground.
"Are you rebelling? How dare you lay a hand on me, Second Master?!" The sudden turn of events startled Baoyu, but he felt little fear. With his current strength, even three or five more burly men wouldn't be a match for him.
Without putting up a fight, his mind raced, racing through his thoughts. What on earth was going on?!
"So what if I tie you up?!" A pair of official boots appeared before the pinned Baoyu. He looked up and met Jia Zheng's sinister gaze. Jia Zheng, his face ashen, looked down at Baoyu and said:
"Does kidnapping your son, Master Bao, mean you've offended the Heavenly King? Or does everyone in the Jia family have to obey your every whim?" Before he could finish, Jia Zheng's cold words dripped from between his teeth, "Do you want me to become your servant too?" Seeing Jia Zheng's gloomy aura, Bao Yu's heart pounded with fear. Instinctively, his face showed pleading, and he forced himself to calmly begin his usual "persuasion" policy, "Father, please listen to your son..." "Shut up!" Unfortunately, Jia Zheng was completely unmoved. With a lash of his hand, he ordered the sweating servants, "Gag this unfilial son and beat him severely!" The servants, not daring to disobey, could only frantically approach Bao Yu with silk handkerchiefs in their hands. Those who held him down inwardly groaned in despair. This was terrible! Caught between this father and son, no matter the outcome, they knew they would suffer a terrible fate. It would be a miracle if they weren't beaten to death by the Old Madam!
"Fake" Baoyu, seeing that Jia Zheng was about to get serious, wasn't one to take a beating lying down. A wild aura emanated from his slender body, and he roared inwardly, "Damn it! I can't control myself anymore! I'm not that stupid Jia Baoyu, how can I be punished by some feudal family law for no reason?!"
Chapter Sixteen: Hatred Leads to the Taking of Mother (Part 2) "Ah!" The angry roar from Baoyu's mouth soared straight to the sky, startling the servant who was about to stuff the silk handkerchief into his mouth. His body trembled, and his legs went weak, causing him to collapse to the ground.
Without needing to activate the Gate of Power spell, Baoyu's superhuman physical abilities, transformed by the power of the divine stone, were evident. With his limbs on the ground, he moved his mind, and a powerful force surged from his dantian, instantly filling his body at an unbelievable speed.
"Get out of the way!" With a roar like a tiger, he slammed his limbs into the ground. A powerful force, like flowing water, poured into the embrace of Mother Earth. Using the omnipresent feedback of Mother Earth, Bao Yu, who had been pinned down, suddenly unleashed extraordinary power, like a lion awakening.
"Ah!" Amidst a series of screams, the four burly men holding Bao Yu were sent flying in all directions like arrows released from a bow. They crashed into the wall with a "bang" and landed back on the ground, rolling several times before bleeding from their mouths and unconscious. One unfortunate man, standing nearby, collided with the flying man and silently became the fifth servant to fall unconscious.
The enormous change shocked everyone present.
A hallucination, it must be a hallucination! The servants stared blankly at the towering Bao Yu, unable to believe what they had just witnessed! But Bao Yu's furious eyes pierced their hearts, and the sudden fear forced them to believe that everything they had just seen was real!
"Nonsense!" Baoyu scoffed, his gaze sweeping over the faces of the dozen or so burly men. He wondered to himself, what was going on? How was he going to get out of this mess? He absolutely refused to be beaten; resistance was a last resort. In this era, filial impiety was a grave sin. How could he possibly survive in the Jia family after this?!
Caught in a dilemma, Baoyu was filled with turmoil and confusion. Why had Jia Zheng become so agitated? It seemed impossible to persuade him with words alone! What to do?
All the thoughts in Baoyu's mind raced in an instant. Steadying himself, he instinctively turned to look at Jia Zheng at the head of the hall, secretly resolving that no matter the difficulty, he would resolve it through words. After all, Jia Zheng was still "Jia Baoyu's" father!
Before Baoyu could even clearly see Jia Zheng's face, an even more terrifying and unexpected turn of events occurred.
After Baoyu's superhuman strength sent several burly men flying, Jia Zheng, like everyone else, was shocked and speechless. But at the same time, a strange thought surged into his mind. A terrifying magic made Jia Zheng believe this was his own thought. As the dark thought muttered to himself, "This wretched creature dares to defy me! He clearly doesn't respect me. I might as well take this opportunity to end his dog's life and prevent future trouble!" In the midst of this shifting thought, the demonic talisman he had swallowed finally merged completely with him under the spell cast by the distant sorcerer. Powerful magic flowed from the talisman, formed from the essence of the whirlwind demon monk's blood, into Jia Zheng's dantian. The inhuman transformation was completed in an instant.
It's lamentable that Jia Zheng, who had always followed the rules, was too rigid and inflexible to accept Baoyu's shocking actions. Coupled with his old-fashioned nature and susceptibility to rumors, which fueled his resentment, he inadvertently opened the door for the demon to cast his spell, transforming himself from an upright court official into an evil demon in a single day!
Just as Baoyu turned around to look back, Jia Zheng had just completed his demonic transformation. Before Baoyu could react, the ferocious Jia Zheng transformed into a whirlwind and rushed towards him, leaving only a clear afterimage in the air.
At this moment, Jia Zheng had lost all reason to control his words and actions, and he no longer questioned the strange and unusual moves that suddenly appeared in his mind. Everything was naturally etched into the depths of his consciousness.
A huge black palm shadow enveloped Bao Yu's figure like a tidal wave, and the invisible black mist bound his limbs. Caught off guard by the magic, Bao Yu had no time to even think of resisting before he was struck by Jia Zheng's palm.
"Eh!" The stunned servants exclaimed in unison, but the human tragedy they had imagined did not occur after the palm strike. Bao Yu did not even take a step back, but stood frozen on the spot with a strange posture and expression. Jia Zheng also unusually withdrew his hand and stood leisurely, not pressing his advantage against the powerless Bao Yu.
In the Imperial Preceptor's mansion, far away, the pale-faced Black Feather King's primordial spirit returned to his physical body, and he opened his eyes, awakening from his slumber.
The Whirlwind Demon Monk, standing guard nearby, asked anxiously, "Brother Black Feather, how did it go? Did you kill Jia Baoyu?" Black Feather King swayed as he sat down in the armchair, his breathing rapid but unable to conceal his smugness. "Almost! Brother Whirlwind, what a brilliant plan! I admire you!" The two cunning demons had racked their brains and finally devised a plan specifically to deal with Baoyu and the divine stone. By implanting a demonic talisman into Jia Zheng's body, Black Feather King could remotely control Jia Zheng's mind. As a human, Jia Zheng possessed no demonic energy, and since he knew nothing about the divine stone, he wouldn't be greedy, and the stone wouldn't attack him.
Furthermore, as Jia Baoyu's father, Baoyu would naturally not use the divine stone's power to harm his father. Caught off guard, Black Feather could use his magic to kill Baoyu through Jia Zheng's hand. Then, with the divine stone unclaimed, they could easily seize it!
"How could it be so close?" The Whirlwind Monk looked at Black Feather with a mixture of doubt and regret. Their plan was so meticulous; even the slightest deviation prevented it from being fully successful, which made him uneasy.
"Alas!" Black Feather sighed helplessly. "Jia Zheng's constitution is too weak. I tried my best, but I could only use his body once. If I tried again, he would probably explode and die." He paused, then said smugly, "Brother Whirlwind, don't worry! Before I ran out of strength, I controlled Jia Baoyu's body. Now he can't move, nor can he cast spells to protect himself. He definitely can't withstand the demonized Jia Zheng's blows! Jia Baoyu is probably already reporting to the underworld! Ha, ha…" The Whirlwind Monk, hearing this, couldn't help but get excited and laughed wildly, echoing Black Feather's words.
Inside the Jia family's main hall, everything unfolded exactly as the two demons had predicted.
Unable to move, Baoyu could only dart his eyes around, staring at Jia Zheng with utter shock. His heart pounded with fear, and he wondered to himself, "Is
this really Jia Zheng?!" "Beat him! Beat him hard!" Jia Zheng, standing with his hands behind his back, was ashen-faced, his coldness enough to freeze the air! He pointed his large finger at Baoyu and roared, "You unfilial son, how dare you defy your ancestors! How can we face them if we don't beat you to death?!" The servants, already terrified by their master's imposing presence, trembled uncontrollably. They wouldn't dare object to Jia Zheng ordering them to beat someone, and they probably wouldn't dare object to him ordering them to beat themselves either.
"Second...Second Master, forgive us!" Lai Da and several servants stammered as they pushed Baoyu to the ground again—no, they should say shoved him to the ground. Unable to move, Baoyu landed with a loud "thud," his face bruised and swollen.
"Hit him! If you don't do it now, I'll kill you all!" Jia Zheng shouted, urging his servants to act. The inexplicable attack earlier had exhausted all his energy, and recovery was extremely slow. Determined to eliminate this future threat, he couldn't wait even a moment longer.
Unaware of the situation, the servants, seeing their master's resolve, dared not delay any longer and steeled themselves, raising their clubs high to strike Bao Yu's buttocks.
"Ah!" Bao Yu cried out inwardly. Neither Shi Yu nor the "fake" Bao Yu had ever suffered such pain! The excruciating pain crashed against his mind like a tidal wave. Even worse, he couldn't even raise his voice to alleviate the pain. Helplessly, he became a silent, iron-willed "hero"!
"Hit him harder! Beat him to death!" The blood on Bao Yu's buttocks had already stained his clothes, but Jia Zheng was still unsatisfied. While trying to recover his strength, he angrily rebuked his servants for showing mercy.
Under Jia Zheng's coercion, the servants holding the baton had no choice but to close their eyes and beat Baoyu relentlessly.
At first, Baoyu could still feel the unbearable pain, but after dozens of blows, he became numb and insensitive. The stars in the sky disappeared, replaced by an increasingly dark and gloomy night.
The delirious "fake" Baoyu strained his eyes to look at Jia Zheng, his boundless hatred piercing him like a sharp blade. Even the bewitched Jia Zheng felt a chill run down his spine, a sense of dread rising within him. He secretly marveled at the terrifying look in Baoyu's eyes! "Jia Zheng
, as long as I, the 'fake' Baoyu, survive, I will make you pay a thousandfold price for your evil deeds today! I will make you lose everything—power, money, your wives and concubines, and finally, your life!"
The fleeting glint of gray in Baoyu's eyes reappeared, and his already hardened heart finally strayed onto the wrong path. If it weren't for the indelible affections of Fengjie and other beauties in his mind, he would not only fail to achieve immortality but would also fall into an endless demonic path from which there was no turning back.
The darkness before him grew thicker, and just as the blurry figures were about to disappear completely, a deafening knocking and screaming came from outside the courtyard gate.
"Master, the Old Madam and Madam are here. Should we open the door?" Lai Da rushed in, pointing to the courtyard gate and reporting repeatedly. The two servants carrying out the family discipline involuntarily stopped wielding their wooden sticks; everyone turned to look at the terrifying master, secretly praying that he would "normalize."
"I said, beat him! Beat him until he dies!" The furious Jia Zheng roared, his large hand gesturing impatiently to urge the servants to continue, completely ignoring the cries of the Old Madam and others outside the door.
"Bang, bang..." The knocking had turned into a violent pounding. Hearing Jia Zheng's roar, the women's faces changed drastically. Feng Jie immediately ordered the strong servants to ram the door with all their might.
The high walls and thick wooden doors made it difficult for the servants inside to break through the two wooden gates, even with their feigned resistance. The anxious Jia family women couldn't help but secretly resent the craftsmen who built the house. Why were they so skilled?! Couldn't they have cut corners and made them thinner? They deserved to die!
While the women were still pacing around like ants on a hot plate outside the door, Jia Zheng roared again, and the heavy thud of the clubs rang out once more. Each "thud, thud" felt like a painful blow to their hearts.
Chapter Sixteen: Hatred Leads to the Taking of Mother (Part 1) What to do? If this continues, Bao Yu will surely die! Seeing the wooden door stand firm, Aunt Xue felt as if her heart had shattered into pieces. Her vision blurred, and she collapsed to the ground.
Almost simultaneously, Sister Feng's legs gave way, and she fell into the arms of Ping'er, whose face was equally pale.
Before Madam Wang could fall, the old lady cried out in anguish, "Heavens! What terrible things has our family done?!" Before she could finish speaking, overwhelmed by the blow, and before her tears could even fall, she too fainted, following Sister Feng.
A chorus of gasps and chaos erupted. Madam Wang, seeing stars, could only muster her strength to stay upright, but her utterly broken spirit rendered her powerless to control the chaotic scene.
"You, you, and you too!" Seeing that even the servants who had been banging on the door had stopped in their bewilderment, Baochai resolutely stood up from beside her unconscious mother and loudly ordered the servants, "You all go and help bang on the door! Don't stop!" Before she finished speaking, Tanchun also stepped forward from among the sisters. Though hurried, she calmly directed the maids to carry the unconscious women back to their rooms to rest. She also sent out maids who couldn't help to quickly fetch a doctor, and instructed the servants to prepare even wound medicine for Baoyu.
Thanks to the two women's unexpected actions, the chaotic situation returned to normal, but Baoyu's danger was still not over.
"I can't faint!" Baoyu roared inwardly, his unwavering will miraculously keeping him conscious, his tangible, furious gaze fixed on Jia Zheng.
The divine stone, though the most wondrous object in the world, lacked human consciousness and couldn't perceive the danger its master faced. Furthermore, its connection to Baoyu had been temporarily severed by sorcery, leaving the poor young master without its protection. Fortunately, the five-colored divine stone itself constantly and automatically transformed Baoyu; a gentle warmth flowed through his heart, allowing him to survive even after enduring hundreds of blows.
Outside the courtyard gate, efforts continued in vain. The situation, which had stabilized, was thrown into chaos again by the relapse of Daiyu's chronic illness, which was extremely frail.
Daiyu was naturally beautiful and exceptionally talented, yet she was cursed with a strange illness from childhood, which even the most renowned doctors in the land could not cure. In this chaotic moment, Lin Daiyu, worried about her beloved Bao-gege, was overwhelmed by the mental disturbance and her strange illness relapsed. A chilling current suddenly surged through her body, causing her already weak and delicate frame to tremble violently as if she were in an ice cellar. It was as if the gates of her heart had frozen under the impact of the cold, a thick, invisible wall of ice blocking her gentle breath, causing her chest to heave rapidly. Even with all her might, she felt increasingly suffocated, and her face turned ashen—a truly
frightening sight! "Lin Daiyu!" Li Wan, noticing something amiss, cried out anxiously, igniting the chaos.
Baochai and Tanchun were directing the servants, and the gentle Yingchun, unable to offer much help in this situation, immediately stepped forward to support Daiyu alongside Li Wan, reaching into Daiyu's bosom to retrieve her usual medicine.
Xiangling and Ping'er left with the unconscious Aunt Xue and Fengjie, leaving only the youngest, Xichun, standing there, unsure what to do! Even in this perilous moment, the usually taciturn girl remained silent. However, her tightly clenched hands, rosy eyes, and taut face completely shattered her usual indifferent demeanor.
A hint of hesitation and weakness flashed in her serene eyes, but Xi Chun's expression quickly hardened, and for the first time, she rushed into the crowd. She didn't care about being with the uncouth servants if it meant saving her beloved Bao Yu!
Before she could even reach the door, a miraculous change occurred, bringing a chance for Bao Yu's survival!
Xi Chun felt an immense force sweep past her, and the crowd before her seemed to be parted like waves, instantly clearing a straight path to the tightly closed vermilion gate.
"Ah!" Xi Chun, utterly astonished, exclaimed in rare surprise. Before her lips could close, a graceful, ethereal figure appeared, soaring through the air past her like a celestial being descending to earth, heading towards the gate.
"It's her! She actually possesses such abilities?!" The girl's innate calmness made her the first among the crowd to regain her senses, instantly recognizing the otherworldly Miao Yu.
The celestial beauty had been meditating and regulating her breath in the Longcui Nunnery, but the sudden, overwhelming fear brought her back to reality. Her troubled mind gave the cultivator a premonition of impending doom. Following her profound intuition, Miao Yu flew without hesitation towards the main courtyard of the Jia family mansion.
From the few words of panicked whispers among the crowd, the celestial beauty finally understood the root of her troubles: her beloved was in mortal danger! Thinking this, the beauty no longer cared about concealing her abilities in front of others. In an instant, she channeled all her magical power, transforming all the anxiety in her heart into a sudden burst of strength that rushed towards the gate.
With a deafening "Boom!", the thick door instantly ended its mission, turning into splinters of wood under the irresistible force. Dust filled the air, swirling in the terrifying wind, momentarily obscuring the eyes of everyone inside and outside the gate.
The sound of the gate shattering echoed in the hall like a thunderbolt. The servants holding the baton involuntarily stopped swinging their arms, staring in disbelief at the pieces of wood lying at their feet.
"Don't stop! Beat it!" Only Jia Zheng remained unaffected in the hall. At this moment, his mind was filled with only one thought: kill the wicked creature! "Kill this wretched child..." The servants had witnessed more than they had ever imagined in their entire lives. Their minds, still reeling from the shock, began to numb. The master's roar seemed so distant and indistinct. They stared blankly at the crowd rushing through the dust, completely ignoring Jia Zheng's threat.
"Damn it!" For the first time in his life, Jia Zheng uttered such vulgarities in public. Seeing his servants disobey his orders, the possessed man roared like a wild beast. His rest had restored some of his strength, and driven by his desire to complete his "sacred" task, he saw his opportunity slipping away. He snatched the wooden stick from the stunned servant, strode forward, raised it high, and with all his might, struck Baoyu on the back of the head.
"Ah!" The servants cried out in unison. This was no family discipline; this was tantamount to killing his own son!
Chapter Sixteen: Hatred Leads to the Loss of Mother (Part 2) As the women rushed in, they witnessed the massive club descending with overwhelming force. They cried out in alarm. The gentle Yingchun and Li Wan, overwhelmed by the shock, followed in the footsteps of Fengjie and the others, even collapsing to the ground along with the weak Daiyu, who refused to leave.
Amidst the cries, Huang Ying'er and Daiyu's maid, Zijuan, rushed forward. Baochai and Tanchun, also losing their composure, were in turmoil, watching as the club, slowing in their minds, struck Baoyu hard on the back of the head.
Everything happened in an instant. Unable to move, Baoyu's burning resentment made him forget the horror of death. Even as the club approached, he forced his eyes to glare coldly at Jia Zheng—the father of his own body!
"You audacious fiend!" The scabbard, crackling with boundless rage, flew out with Miaoyu's furious shout, leaving a long trail of afterimages in the air. Miraculously, just before the club could strike Baoyu, it struck Jia Zheng's body. The surging magical power sent Jia Zheng flying backward like a wave crashing against a giant tidal wave, his tumbling body creating a cloud of blood mist. He landed motionless, unconscious.
The dramatic turn of events petrified Lai Da and the others. After a moment, they realized a life-or-death question: Had their master been killed? If so, they, his servants, would likely be killed as well!
The servants scrambled to Jia Zheng's side, touching him to check his condition before feeling relieved. Thank goodness! He was only seriously injured and still breathing!
Miaoyu, remembering that although Jia Zheng had fallen into demonic possession, he was still Baoyu's father, had shown mercy by withdrawing most of her magical power, thus sparing his life.
As the smoke cleared and the dust settled, the women, regaining their senses, rushed forward. Seeing the chaotic state of the hall, they froze in shock. As expected, Baoyu lay on the ground, his buttocks and thighs stained with blood, a horrifying sight. The "culprit," Jia Zheng, lay motionless, blood gushing from his mouth and nose, his life hanging in the balance.
Miaoyu, who had reached Baoyu before the women, waved her hand lightly, and the soft light that swept across him dispelled the restrictions placed upon him.
"Ah!" Baoyu, now free, saw his savior descend upon him. The moment the crisis vanished, his indomitable will returned to the depths of his consciousness due to the relaxation of his mind. The unbearable pain roared and surged like a tidal wave, instantly engulfing his entire being.
"Baoyu!" Hearing Baoyu's cry of pain, Miaoyu, though she had already used her magic to examine him, was still overcome with fear. She bent down, her exquisite body ready to embrace him.
"Brother Bao!" Tan Chun's cry startled Miao Yu, causing her to stop her hasty embrace. Seeing everyone rushing towards Bao Yu, the beautiful woman, who disliked crowds, glanced deeply at her beloved before her jade-like feet paused slightly and she rose into the air, gracefully disappearing like a celestial being.
After a moment of stunned silence, the women's heartfelt concern led them to rush towards Bao Yu. Tan Chun was the quickest to react, followed closely by Ying Chun and Bao Chai, who were supporting Dai Yu. Lady Wang hesitated briefly between her husband and son before instinctively catching up with the women. Even Aunt Zhao, who usually vied for Jia Zheng's favor, abandoned the "frightening" Jia Zheng and sided with Bao Yu.
In an instant, a flurry of figures surrounded Baoyu, while the pitiful Jia Zheng was left with only a few servants, their faces filled with terror and tension, fearing some horrific turn of events.
The scene of Jia Zheng attempting to kill his son with his own hands was etched into everyone's minds, shattering his previously humble and upright image and leaving him utterly abandoned and destitute. In their eyes, the Second Master of the Rongguo Mansion was now practically a demon!
Amidst the mixed expressions of concern, only Xichun did not follow the others to visit Baoyu. Seeing that her beloved Baoyu could still speak, the girl's anxious heart immediately settled. In a flash, Xichun involuntarily turned to look in the direction where Miaoyu had disappeared, her elegant and deep eyes flashing with fervent admiration. The girl, who was different from others by nature, had little interest in worldly matters. Her confused heart did not know what she should pursue. At this moment, Miaoyu's miraculous and otherworldly performance was like a sharp sword that suddenly appeared in the girl's heart, cleaving through the fog that had shrouded her for more than ten years with irresistible power.
The young girl, lost in thought, suddenly filled her beautiful eyes with determination, and cried out in her heart, "I've found it—I've found the path I should take! That is to become Miaoyu's disciple and pursue the Heavenly Dao that transcends the mortal world!" "Someone come here! Quickly carry Baoyu to my room!" Madam Wang, a mother's heart connected with her son, felt a pang of heartache upon seeing Baoyu's miserable state and couldn't help but sternly say, "From this day forward, anyone who dares to hit Baoyu again will be expelled from the Jia family!" The pale-faced servants rushed forward to help the young master Baoyu up. The two who had previously wielded the stick were the fastest, trying their best to atone for their sins.
"Ah!" Baoyu, supported by the crowd, hadn't even stood up before he was struck down again by excruciating pain, and uncontrollable cold sweat dripped down his frighteningly pale face.
"Go find Zhang Chundeng! How can Brother Bao stand up like this?!" The clever and wise Baochai remained calm and composed in the face of the emergency, directing the servants to clean up the mess. "Quickly help Master back to his room and rush to the palace to fetch the imperial physician!" Before Baochai finished speaking, Daiyu, who had regained consciousness, was extremely weak and added intermittently, "Sister Bao, I... I think Uncle... seems to be... possessed! Should we... find a Taoist priest to take a look?" "Yes, I think Master is possessed!" Aunt Zhao echoed. Having once asked Granny Ma to frame Baoyu, she subconsciously thought of sorcery. She glanced guiltily at the seriously injured Baoyu, secretly wondering who hated Master and his son so much that they wanted to use magic to harm them?!
Although Baochai didn't understand these supernatural things, she was better off believing it than not, so she immediately took the advice and ordered the servants to go out of the mansion to find a master.
A wide, long bench was carried into the hall, and Baoyu, with a bitter smile, was lifted onto it. As he left, a wave of emotion washed over him, and he involuntarily glanced back at the messy hall, never imagining he had almost lost his life here!
Jia Zheng, if I hadn't died, it would have been your turn to die! The resentment from before hadn't disappeared; instead, it was deeply ingrained in Baoyu's mind. His eyes, gleaming with a gray light, glared hatefully at Jia Zheng, who had been carried into the bedroom. Even in his unconscious state, Baoyu trembled slightly, his three souls trembling and his seven spirits in disarray!
"Aunt, should we carry Brother Bao back to Yihong Courtyard?" Baochai, seeing that Baoyu's injury was indecent, the thoughtful young woman couldn't help but whisper to Lady Wang, suggesting this.
"No need, I'm worried!" Madam Wang refused Baochai's offer without hesitation. The clever and beautiful woman quickly understood Baochai's concerns and chuckled, saying, "I am Yu'er's mother; he is my son. What is there to worry about?" Baochai thought to herself, "My aunt is right. Why should a mother and son be so rigid?"
The principle of "helping a sister-in-law in distress" convinced the beauty, and she smiled slightly, agreeing with Madam Wang.
After everything was settled, the women took their leave to visit the unconscious men, leaving only Madam Wang, who couldn't bear to part with her son, beside Baoyu.
Lying on the couch, Baoyu saw the beautiful woman beside him with tears streaming down her face. Those endless tears, filled with genuine care, seeped into his heart, entangled with his previous evil thoughts.
What should I do? I must take revenge! Caught in this internal struggle, Baoyu thought of the woman before him as Jia Zheng's wife, and a surge of evil thoughts rushed up. Killing her would make Jia Zheng heartbroken.
No! She was the mother of this body, and also his own mother. His "Oedipus complex" transformed into deep love, blocking the growth of evil thoughts and allowing Baoyu's turbulent mind to begin to clear!
Two conflicting thoughts rose and fell, neither giving way!
"Ah!" Unable to bear it any longer, Baoyu roared, trying to drive away the turmoil and confusion in his heart with a helpless shout.
"Yu'er, what's wrong?! Don't frighten your mother again!" In her anxiety, Lady Wang bent down and gently embraced her son, asking anxiously repeatedly.
The beautiful woman's voluptuous body unconsciously pressed tightly against the "fake" Baoyu, her smooth skin, even through several layers of clothing, making Baoyu feel its fiery allure.
In that instant, the two conflicting thoughts in Baoyu's mind merged into one with a "boom," achieving a harmonious resonance! A perfect plan took root in Baoyu's heart: he could both avenge Jia Zheng and protect the beauty!
"Yes, that's it!" Hehe... The "illusory" Baoyu, with two horns on his head, grinned mischievously, excitedly discussing a brilliant plan with "Little Baoyu."
A huge storm finally subsided amidst a series of unexpected events, and the more than a thousand people in the Jia family, who had just escaped a false alarm, finally calmed down. Little did they know that the aftershocks of the storm had already quietly spread throughout the entire Jia family.
"Reporting to the Old Madam, Lord Jia's health will be fully restored after taking medicine and resting for a period of time, but..." The physician invited from the palace stroked his black beard, a look of confusion on his face.
"But what?" Although the Old Madam hated Jia Zheng's heartless and ruthless methods, she was still very worried about the unconscious Jia Zheng, as mother and son are of one heart.
Chapter Seventeen: The Hunt for M (Part 1) "From Lord Jia's pulse, I sensed his heart pulse was extremely weak, yet his life force was remarkably strong, and his brain pulse was utterly chaotic," the physician sighed in bewilderment. "In my decades of medical practice, this is the first time I've encountered such strange symptoms!" "Physician, I don't quite understand what you mean. Has my husband contracted a strange illness?" Madam Wang's eyes flashed with anxiety. This wasn't the first doctor they had consulted; the Jia family had even consulted monks and Taoist priests, but nothing could revive Jia Zheng.
"Please forgive my limited medical skills; I am powerless to help. Ladies, please seek another skilled physician!" The physician bowed with shame and took his leave, too ashamed to even ride in the sedan chair provided by the Jia family, and walked away.
"Alas! It's always like this!" Grandmother Jia's pale face sighed repeatedly. Every doctor ended with the same words! The confidence of the group was eroded by the repeated use of this phrase.
"By the way, how is Yu'er?" The old lady's thoughts shifted, and she became concerned about Bao Yu again. Everyone had been greatly worried about Bao Yu, but it was only a superficial injury. After the doctor prescribed internal and external medicine, everyone was relieved. Although Bao Yu's injury appeared quite serious, he would recover fully given time.
"Yu'er has taken the calming soup and fallen asleep!" Thinking of her son's safety, Lady Wang's worries finally subsided considerably. Then, thinking of how her husband, Jia Zheng, had caused this tragic situation, the middle-aged beauty's initial anxiety and worry turned into resentment. The image of Jia Zheng, fierce and menacing, trying to kill Bao Yu, flashed through her mind again.
Was this still her husband? Thinking of this, the beautiful woman trembled, her heart chilled, and her initial desire to go inside and check on Jia Zheng vanished.
"Mother-in-law, should we send more people to help take care of Baoyu?" Li Wan asked Wang Furen softly, her beautiful young woman's smooth face clouded with worry. She subconsciously glanced at the three maids standing below, including Xiren. "Why don't we send Baoyu's three maids to take care of him? They've been begging for so long!" Fengjie, who had calmed down, immediately chimed in, "Yes, Aunt, how can you manage all this alone? If you don't have enough people, you can have Ping'er do some chores. Don't let Baoyu get better and then exhaust you again!" "Sigh!" Wang Furen's beautiful face showed a conflicted expression of helplessness and joy. Her watery eyes swept over the faces of everyone in the hall, and she said in a low voice with a hint of pride, "You all..." Knowing that Baoyu was still shaken after being beaten the day before, he was now afraid of everyone, not even letting his maids near him. He only wanted to see me, the only one in the entire household.” Before she finished speaking, the beautiful woman’s loving gaze revealed deep affection, and she involuntarily added with a hint of resentment, “It’s all his father’s fault for beating him so badly this time. That’s why Yu’er is like this. Yesterday, he wouldn’t even see the Old Madam when she came into the room.” All the women in the hall had been turned away by Baoyu, even his closest friends, Fengjie, Xiren, and Aunt Xue. They could only sneak a peek while Baoyu was asleep, their movements as cautious as thieves, a faint smile tinged with sadness. Fortunately,
although Baoyu was shaken, the doctor said that a few doses of calming soup and plenty of rest would improve his condition, which put the women at ease.
"You're right," the old lady nodded in agreement, a hint of regret in her voice. "I was planning to have Yuanyang help you out, but it seems I'll have to trouble you to take good care of Yu'er yourself!" "Brother Bao is really something! I came to see him this morning, only to find him asleep, unable to even say a word. What a disappointment!" Xiangyun leaned against the old lady's chest, her cheerful and innocent nature returning as soon as she learned that Baoyu was alright.
"Sister Yun, once Brother Bao is better, you can have him apologize to you!" Daiyu was greatly shocked, and the "awful" Baoyu had given her the cold shoulder. The suspicious and perfectionist Lin Daiyu was naturally angry, but with a light smile, she had already dragged Xiangyun onto her side. Once Baoyu recovered, the mischievous Xiangyun and the exceptionally intelligent Daiyu would definitely be the perfect "torture Baoyu" duo.
"Great!" Xiangyun cheered and jumped up from the old lady's arms. Her beautiful figure went straight to Daiyu, her face serious and her expression quite adorable. "Let's just ignore him on purpose and make him anxious!" Before she finished speaking, the girl pointed at each of the ladies present, not even sparing the maids like Xiren. Then she loudly suggested, "You all have to ignore him too, just like us, and see if he dares to ignore me again!" The girls couldn't help but laugh and echo her. The originally gloomy atmosphere in the hall was completely dispelled by the laughter of the adorable girl, and happy smiles finally returned to the girls' faces.
In a rare moment of childlike joy, Baochai's stunning beauty blossomed into a playful smile as she teased, "So, is Sister Yun planning to ignore Brother Bao for life, or just for a while?" "Just for a while, of course!" the girl replied without hesitation. Then, her delicate brows furrowed slightly as she murmured hesitantly, "Just ignore him for five...four...or three...two, just one...hour!" A series of melodious, enchanting laughs, each unique in its own way, echoed in the space around them, causing the smiling women to gasp in delight.
A hint of doubt flickered across Tan Chun's elegant face. She chuckled and whispered to Ying Chun beside her, "Second Sister, where did Xi Chun go? Why haven't we seen her since this morning?" Ying Chun, with her radiant face, smiled gently, shaking her head slightly, and said with a hint of confusion, "She had already left when I went. The maid Siqi said that Fourth Sister seemed to have gone to see Miao Yu. I wonder what she wants with that strange Miao Yu?" Xiang Ling, who got along very well with Ying Chun, chimed in with a smile, "Xi Chun is always a bit strange..." "They're just oddballs finding oddballs, they appreciate each other!" "Oh dear!" Madam Wang looked up at the sky, then got up and headed towards the hall door. "It's getting late, I should go back now. If Baoyu wakes up and doesn't see me, he'll be scared!" No one would stop the loving mother from taking care of her beloved son. After respectfully seeing Madam Wang off, thanks to Xiangyun's cheerful disposition, the dark clouds that had shrouded the Jia family for days finally parted, and bright sunshine began to shine throughout the Jia household.
Inside the luxurious bedroom in the inner courtyard, on the high bed and soft pillows, Baoyu lay helplessly on the bed, deep in thought. Of course, he wasn't thinking about national affairs, nor family matters; he didn't even have the mind to consider Jia Zheng's strange behavior. At this moment, driven by his "Oedipus complex," the naughty boy's mind was filled with only one extremely exciting "mother-hunting plan"!
Chapter Seventeen: The Hunt for M (Part 1) After a moment of contemplation, a smug smile appeared on Bao Yu's mischievous face. He couldn't help but feel extremely proud of his brilliant idea from the previous day. "Excessive fright" was absolutely a normal person's reaction, and also an absolutely flawless excuse. Only in this way could he spend time alone with the beautiful woman, day and night. With ample time, and with his "fake" Bao Yu's advanced methods from the 21st century, wouldn't he be able to capture the resentful woman in her secluded chamber with ease?! In addition, given his injury, breaking down the initial barrier between the two would be even easier.
"Heh, heh..." A wicked laugh echoed in the quiet space. Bao Yu's smug smile suddenly changed, replaced by panic and helplessness. His extraordinary senses had already detected the gentle footsteps of the middle-aged beauty.
"You can all stay here," Madam Wang said solemnly as she turned to the middle gate, waving her hand to the maids and servants who were following her. "Don't make a sound! If you disturb Baoyu, I'll punish you severely!" "We understand!" The maids bowed their heads and watched their mistress walk into the inner courtyard alone. They glanced at the long distance between the two gates and couldn't help but chuckle to themselves. Madam was being a bit too anxious! The distance from here to the living quarters was so great that even if they shouted, the Second Master probably wouldn't hear them!
"Don't hit me... I'm scared... Mother, save me!" A broken, panicked, and helpless cry reached the ears of the beautiful woman who had reached the door. Madam Wang's calm and radiant face paled instantly, and she rushed in with great urgency.
"Yu'er, your mother is here, don't be afraid!" The middle-aged beauty's eyes shone with a captivating loving light. Her soft, alluring body swept towards the terrified boy. How could this woman, who was filled with love for her son, have imagined that the person before her was a "fake" Baoyu?! How could she have imagined that he had ulterior motives towards her?!
"Mother!" Baoyu, ignoring the pain in his buttocks, rushed into the arms of the beautiful woman who had come to the bedside as if he had seen a savior. His handsome face, flushed with emotion, "unintentionally" fell between Lady Wang's deep breasts, and his "helpless" hands naturally wrapped around the beauty's soft waist.
"Frightened again?" The bewildered woman gently stroked her son's head, comforting his frightened heart.
"Mmm!" Baoyu nestled in his mother's arms like a child, twisting his head and savoring the alluring smoothness and fullness of the middle-aged beauty's skin, her fragrance intoxicating.
After a long, warm and peaceful moment, Baoyu looked up at Lady Wang with lingering desire and said, "Mother, I had another nightmare!" Before the beautiful woman could offer any words of pity or concern, Baoyu continued,
"I want to sleep, but I'm afraid of having another nightmare. Mother, could you stay here and keep me company?" "This..." Lady Wang hadn't expected her son to ask her to sleep with him. Although it was a simple request, she felt extremely embarrassed, her heart in turmoil and hesitant.
"Mother!" Baoyu immediately pleaded in a drawn-out tone, shaking the beautiful woman's arm, "I'm so scared!" Looking at the helpless pleading in Baoyu's eyes, the deep expectation softened the beautiful woman's heart. She thought to herself, "This is my son. If I don't help him, who will? Besides, there are no outsiders in this inner courtyard now. As long as I act uprightly, what is there to be afraid of?!" Thinking this,
the beautiful woman's doting love overcame her vague sense of unease, and she gently slapped Baoyu's shoulder with a coquettish tone, "You child! Okay, okay... stop it, I'll do as you say!" "Yay! Success!" Baoyu cheered loudly in his heart. His "illusory" Baoyu even hummed a little tune triumphantly, excitedly shaking hands with his "little Baoyu" in celebration!
"Mother, you're so good to your child!" Overjoyed, Baoyu eagerly shifted his body to the side, completely forgetting the pain from the movement.
The beautiful woman watched her son's delighted actions with a slight amusement, unaware that she had fallen into a trap set by a lecherous wolf. This delicious lamb was stepping onto the path of "sexual" bliss paved for her by her son.
"Mother, lie down next to me quickly, I want to get some sleep!" Before the beautiful woman could react, Baoyu pulled the slightly helpless middle-aged woman down beside him. Caught off guard,
Lady Wang had no choice but to comply with Baoyu's wishes, her heart fluttering as his hot body pressed against her. The long-absent, resentful woman, who hadn't been intimate with her husband in a long time, immediately realized that Baoyu was now a grown man, and a pang of regret arose.
She should first lull him to sleep, and then quietly leave! A beautiful woman, feeling uneasy, made a decision, but the mischievous boy, who had been planning this all along, shattered her resolve with a pair of strong hands.
Although Baoyu, with a comfortable expression, didn't understand Madam Wang's complex thoughts, the clever boy was prepared. He decisively wrapped his arms around the woman's waist. He didn't take advantage of the situation, but simply held his mother obediently, though his arms were firm, giving the woman no chance to escape. "Take
it slow!" The mischievous boy, feigning sleep, was filled with countless thoughts, carefully considering his next passionate plan. The clever boy understood the principle of gradual pursuit of love; not only were his hands and feet obedient, but he also didn't remove his outer garment, and the mother and son lay down fully clothed.
The beautiful woman, her heart in turmoil, half-reluctantly lay down beside her son. A sudden unease made her voluptuous body tense slightly, while Baoyu's large hand tightly gripped her waist, rendering her carefully prepared response futile.
After a long while, seeing that Baoyu hadn't made any inappropriate moves, and that his large hand, which had been so close to hers, remained perfectly still, Lady Wang's tense heart finally relaxed.
The innocent smile on Baoyu's lips, now that he was "sleeping," reappeared, further reassuring the beautiful woman. She gave him a light glare, half-doting and half-scolding, before closing her eyes to rest. Unconsciously, the beautiful woman drifted into a deep sleep.
Hearing the beautiful woman's steady, gentle breathing, Baoyu, who had been pretending to be asleep, quietly opened his eyes. He didn't move, but simply took a deep breath of the mature, delicate fragrance emanating from the beauty beside him. Intoxicated by the orchid-like scent, the mischievous boy tightened his grip on her hand again, then truly closed his eyes and drifted into a sweet dream.
Time flowed quietly as always, but unlike before, ripples had begun to form in this silent tranquility, and the two gently rippling seas of their hearts could no longer return to their initial calm.
As the sun set and twilight began to appear, Lady Wang's long, slightly upturned eyelashes trembled as she awoke from her rare, sweet dream. Opening her beautiful eyes, she saw Baoyu staring intently at her.
"You child, you startled your mother!" The beautiful woman was slightly startled, then secretly examined her delicate body, finding nothing amiss, before finally relaxing.
"Thank you, Mother. I finally slept well and didn't have any nightmares!" Baoyu continued to gaze at the beautiful woman, but there was no hint of ambiguity in his eyes.
Lady Wang, who also slept alone for a long time, unexpectedly slept soundly without dreams while accompanying Baoyu. The beautiful woman, feeling relieved, chuckled, "You didn't have to stare at me like that, it was quite frightening!" "Heh, heh..." Baoyu chuckled and scratched his head, revealing his innocent and adorable childlike nature. Before speaking, he said with a smile, "I haven't been awake long, and the first thing I saw when I opened my eyes was Mother's peaceful sleeping face." Before pausing, the mischievous boy deliberately stared at the beautiful woman's jade-like face again, making her face slightly flushed with unease. A blush crept onto her cheeks, and she involuntarily said coquettishly, "You child, you scared your mother!" "I just think Mother is very beautiful!" Baoyu feigned grievance, his lips slightly upturned as he softly said:
"I've just realized how beautiful Mother is! Even the fairies in heaven couldn't compare!" The love of beauty is a woman's nature, and the esteemed Lady Wang was no exception. Hearing Baoyu's heartfelt praise, the beautiful woman's face lit up with joy. Then, she lightly tapped Baoyu with her delicate hand, embarrassed. "You child, you're getting more and more outrageous! You even dare to tease your own mother!" "Everything I say is true!" Baoyu excitedly pointed to the sky and swore. "If I utter a single falsehood, may I..." Before he could finish his impassioned oath, Lady Wang, who believed in ghosts and spirits, quickly interrupted her son, her beautiful, watery eyes revealing... Overjoyed, the dignified and well-mannered woman said, "Alright, I believe you! Don't make promises lightly; the gods will remember them, understand?" Before her words of concern were finished, the woman's tone shifted, and she reminded Baoyu with concern, "Yu'er, it's fine for us to talk about your nonsense, but please don't say it in front of others, or it will cause gossip!" "Don't worry, Mother! I'm not an unreasonable person; how could I be so foolish?!" Baoyu replied with a light laugh, his body naturally nestled into Lady Wang's arms. His innocent, childlike expression completely disarmed the woman.
"It's getting late; I'll have someone make a calming soup!" After a brief embrace, Lady Wang, still concerned about Baoyu's injury, walked towards the door with her alluring figure.
Lying on the bed, Baoyu witnessed the alluring undulations of the woman's buttocks as her long, slender legs moved in rhythm. His feigned clarity vanished, replaced by a burning gaze that seemed to follow the woman's round, firm buttocks.
Chapter 18: The Hunt for M (Part 2) At the doorway, Madam Wang paused slightly. The gentle and sensitive middle-aged woman instinctively sensed something amiss. Her sensitive heart trembled slightly, and she subconsciously stopped and turned to look at Baoyu behind her. She saw that although Baoyu was looking at her, his eyes were clear and transparent, devoid of any impure thoughts!
What was wrong with her?! The beautiful woman shook her head slightly, secretly amused by her own suspicion. How could she doubt her own son?! It seemed she had been overly sensitive just now! After convincing herself, Madam Wang felt a sense of relief and lightly disappeared from Baoyu's gaze.
What a close call! She almost gave herself away! Having narrowly escaped detection, Baoyu involuntarily wiped the cold sweat from his forehead. If it hadn't been for a sudden flash of inspiration that allowed him to instantly change his expression, the beautiful woman would have certainly noticed his illicit intentions.
Thinking of this, Baoyu was surprised; he hadn't expected Lady Wang's intuition to be so sharp!
It seemed he needed to plan carefully, otherwise, all his efforts would be in vain!
Two uneventful days passed in a flash. Completely absorbed in his "mother-hunting plan," Baoyu tried his best to play the innocent "fake" Baoyu, even forgetting the many things outside that needed his attention. Except for the unseemly needing to use his blatant seduction, Baoyu almost never let the beautiful woman leave his side; the time wasn't right, and he dared not use "Little Baoyu" to provoke the dignified mature woman!
As dawn broke, before the sky was fully light, Lady Wang, a habitual early riser, was the first to wake up.
The middle-aged woman, opening her beautiful eyes, glanced habitually at her son beside her. After several days of companionship, the habit had finally become natural. She felt no awkwardness about sleeping in the same bed with Baoyu, and unconsciously, she had become completely unguarded against his inappropriate touches.
Seeing Baoyu lying peacefully beside her, a relieved smile appeared on her rosy face. Since she had been by Baoyu's side day and night, the frightened Baoyu had stopped having nightmares, and his daily fear and panic had lessened considerably. Unfortunately, Baoyu was still afraid to see anyone.
It was time to give Baoyu his medicine. The woman glanced at the sky outside, her mind racing. She gently removed Baoyu's large hand from her waist, then carefully got out of bed, dressed, and went out.
The moment the voluptuous figure disappeared behind the door, the "sleeping" Baoyu instantly opened his bright eyes. The magical door-moving spell always managed to wake him up a moment before the beautiful woman.
A smug, mischievous grin spread across his face. After two days of effort, although there had been no breakthrough, the beauty could now naturally remove her outer garment when resting. Although her inner garment still separated them, the rascal was confident that, given time, he could make the middle-aged beauty face him naked, just like his own sister!
Lady Wang, carrying a bowl of medicine, quietly returned to the bedroom door. Before she could even lift the curtain and enter, a panicked cry reached her ears.
"Mother, where are you? I'm scared!" Before the prey even came into view, the cunning hunter had already put on a show of feigned emotion.
The child was awake again! The middle-aged beauty was not alarmed. Every time she left Baoyu, he would automatically wake up within the time it takes to drink a cup of tea, and that anxious cry was indispensable!
"Baoyu, I'm here, don't be afraid!" The beauty smiled and strode in. Under Baoyu's intentional or unintentional prompting, the way they addressed each other became natural and casual.
"Come, have some calming soup!" The middle-aged beauty gently embraced her son's prone body, softly comforting him,
"Don't look so distressed. This calming soup will calm your fear! I'm doing this for your own good!" Baoyu's bitter expression was genuine; his distress was genuine. If there was any flaw in this plan, it was undoubtedly the bitter medicine. To feign extreme fright, the three daily doses of calming soup were essential. The bitter taste made the wicked boy's stomach churn, further solidifying his resolve: to make the bitter medicine worthwhile, he had to carry on with his passion to the very end!
Two more days passed in a flash, and Baoyu was now able to spend long periods nestled in the beautiful woman's arms. The shrewd man knew the time was far from ripe; any excessive action would render all his previous efforts futile.
The man, feigning sleep, secretly pondered: now that the prey's guard had fallen, he, the hunter, had successfully taken the first step. It seemed it was time to move on to the second!
"Ouch, that hurts!" The pale-faced Baoyu suddenly opened his eyes and cried out in pain.
Lady Wang, who was passing the time doing needlework, was startled and hurriedly put down her needlework, rushing forward with great anxiety in her beautiful eyes. "What's wrong? Didn't it stop hurting?!" "I don't know, the wound suddenly started hurting!" Baoyu said in a trembling voice, "I wonder if the ointment the doctor applied has worn off?" "Possibly!" Lady Wang saw that Baoyu's face was getting paler and paler, and even his face was slightly distorted, so she couldn't help but find a reason. "This ointment has been applied for several days, and the doctor said that it needs to be changed regularly. I saw that you haven't complained of pain these past few days, so I forgot!" Before she finished speaking, the beautiful woman turned and walked out. "I'll go find a doctor to change your dressing!" "No!" Baoyu shouted in terror to stop her. "I'm scared! What if the doctor wants to harm me? I don't want to change the dressing—I'd rather die than change it! Ouch!" He didn't forget to let out a loud cry of pain at the end, which made the beautiful woman's heart tighten and feel a dull pain.
"How can you not change the dressing?" Madam Wang's jade-like face radiated endless doting as she turned to Baoyu. "Yu'er, listen to your mother, let's change the dressing. The doctor has no grudge against you, why would he harm you?!" Baoyu's expression suddenly turned to one of utter terror, his body trembling as he retorted to the beautiful woman, "Then Father has no grudge against me, he's still my own father, why would he harm me?!" "This…" The middle-aged woman was speechless, her resentment towards Jia Zheng deepening. Not wanting to defend Jia Zheng, she changed her tone, gently comforting Baoyu, "I'll be standing right beside the doctor when he changes the dressing, I won't let him harm you!" "I'm scared! Ah, it hurts so much!" Baoyu's face showed even more fear, his trembling lips turning blue and purple, and he cried out in pain repeatedly. The louder he cried, the more insistent he became, "I won't change the dressing, I'd rather die than change it!" Alas! What to do?! The beautiful woman paced restlessly in the room, her voluptuous body trembling. Her limbs moved erratically, her mind churning with anxious thoughts.
She couldn't let Baoyu's pain worsen! Seeing Baoyu's pale face and cold sweat, an overwhelming maternal love surged through her, breaking free from the shackles of societal constraints with irresistible force!
Chapter 18: The Hunt for M (Part 2) "Yu'er, I have a way! I'll apply the medicine myself!" Beneath her calm, radiant face, the woman's thoughts were in turmoil, unable to find peace. She repeatedly convinced herself, constantly giving herself the courage to strengthen her resolve! This was applying medicine to Baoyu, though it violated propriety, how could a mother stand idly by while her son's pain worsened?! The beautiful woman cried out in her heart, "Forget those dogmas, I must save Yu'er!" Before Bao Yu could respond, she turned and left again. Her firm steps and swift body suddenly shone brightly, the maternal glow of the thoughtful middle-aged woman radiating from her, instantly filling every corner of the space between them, enveloping Bao Yu's secretly excited and burning heart.
A tremendous shock swept through Bao Yu's consciousness in an instant. His dazed gaze remained blank long after the beautiful woman's figure disappeared, unable to regain its usual clarity. The wooden-faced man had lost the ability to think; his mind was filled only with the holy, radiant image of the beautiful woman.
Was what I did right?! Baoyu's blank expression shifted slightly, a fleeting look of confusion and bewilderment appearing in his hesitant and conflicted eyes. His previously made-up decision began to waver. The incomparably holy and beautiful figure he had just seen was now inextricably intertwined with his severe "Oedipus complex," leaving Baoyu caught in a fierce internal struggle. He felt as if a thousand thoughts were rushing in, swirling and tangling endlessly.
"How could you sincerely deceive and seduce such a holy and dignified woman?! How could you bear to destroy this angelic purity and beauty?!" A righteous and stern voice sharply rebuked Baoyu, who was cowering in the corner of his heart.
"Heh, heh..." A lewd laugh followed, echoing in the "illusory" Baoyu's ears. "What are you afraid of?! Don't hesitate, stand up! You're a 'fake' Baoyu. If you give up such a beautiful woman, it will be a regret for your whole life!" "Nonsense!" A righteous and stern voice retorted loudly. "Your soul has changed, but your body is still Jia Baoyu's. How can you treat Lady Wang like this?!" "You're the scoundrel!" The wicked laugh also retorted with righteous indignation. "You pedantic fool, what's most important? It's a person's soul. You're a 'fake' Baoyu—Shi Yu from the future, not the original idiot!" The voice paused slightly, then the wicked laugh powerfully countered. "What's wrong? What's right? Six hundred years later, cousins marrying is wrong, but now it's right! Maybe eight hundred years later, mother-son love is wrong, but what about a thousand years later? Even if nothing changes a thousand years later, who can tell you for sure whether it's right or wrong two thousand years later?!" "Even if you're a 'fake' Baoyu..." "Yu," the righteous voice, unable to resist, changed the subject. "Lady Wang loves you so much, she treats you like her precious darling. Is this how you repay her kindness by toying with you?" The wicked laughter didn't back down, but instead grew louder and more self-righteous. "Who said I'm toying with you?! Do you know what happiness is? When has Lady Wang ever had any real joy in her eyes while she's with Jia Zheng?! All she's ever felt is resignation under the constraints of propriety!" Before the opponent could refute, the wicked laughter continued, "Since you can't escape the 'Oedipus complex' your whole life
, why not just follow your heart?! That way you can satisfy yourself and give Lady Wang real happiness, taking care of her sincerely in place of Jia Zheng! That's the best way to repay her!" "Nonsense!" "You pedantic fool!"... Two different voices grew louder and louder in Bao Yu's mind. At first, they alternated in an orderly fashion, but later they began to devour and battle each other in Bao Yu's heart, creating chaos.
"Shut up!" The "illusory" Baoyu, who had been cowering in the corner of his heart, could no longer bear it. He suddenly stood up, his eyes blazing with boundless rage. The flames materialized and burst forth from his eyes, instantly incinerating the two speaking phantoms, one black and one white.
"Ah!" The real Baoyu involuntarily let out a long howl, venting his endless frustration into the void with the howl.
The beautiful woman, returning from the pharmacy with medicine, happened to hear this clear howl. Her heart skipped a beat, and she rushed in with a flustered expression, pushing open the curtain. "Baoyu, is your injury hurting more? I'll apply the medicine for you right away!" "No... I just felt depressed, so I couldn't help but cry out a few times." Not having fully figured things out, Baoyu did not take the opportunity to "bewitch" the beautiful woman again. He simply smiled helplessly and brushed it off with a few words.
"Oh! You scared me to death!" The dignified mature woman, now relieved, gently stroked her alluring breasts and let out a long sigh.
"Yu'er, lie down!" The middle-aged beauty forced herself to remain calm and composed, saying softly, "I'll apply the medicine for you right away!" "I...I'll do it myself!" Baoyu, wavering in his resolve, reluctantly declined Madam Wang's offer. His mind was incredibly complicated; he didn't know what to do!
The beautiful woman paused slightly as she reached to lift the covers, a flicker of interest in her eyes quickly dispelled by her overwhelming maternal love. "How can you apply it yourself? Let me do it!" She forced a smile, her slightly trembling voice betraying her nervousness. She deliberately used lighthearted banter to ease the subtly intimate atmosphere in the room. "You silly child, I'm your mother! What's wrong with applying medicine for you? I didn't expect my Yu'er to be so shy!" "Then… I'll trouble you, Mother!" Bao Yu's wicked thoughts made him immediately abandon his insistence, half-heartedly embarking on the path he had already laid out.
Intentionally or unintentionally, the voluptuous woman and the handsome Bao Yu simultaneously avoided the embarrassing truth—the injury was located on his shameful buttocks, and applying medicine inevitably meant exposing his lower body, a mere hair's breadth away from complete nudity!
Although Lady Wang maintained a resolute expression and tried her best to remain calm, her slender, jade-like fingers trembled and tightened as she reached to untie the handkerchief around Baoyu's waist, moving erratically.
As the blankets were slowly pulled back from his body, Baoyu, lying prone on the couch, felt his heart pound with each passing moment, his nerves tightening.
When the beautiful woman's hand reached for his waistband, his heart pounded even harder, his mind screaming, "Closer, closer! My beautiful mother is about to remove my undergarment, I'm about to expose my genitals to her!" He was about to reveal the source of his desire to the woman he so admired! Thinking of this, the man felt an endless surge of pleasure overwhelm him, his heart breaking through his defenses. A torrent of passion swept through his mind with earth-shattering force. Excitedly plunging into the abyss of desire, Baoyu no longer cared about right or wrong, his entire being focused on the beautiful woman's jade-like hands, waiting for her gentle movements to break down the second barrier between them!
The voluptuous woman's previous inner turmoil was even more severe than Baoyu's thoughts. Now, she too was caught in a subtle awkwardness. Unconsciously, the anxieties in both Baoyu's and the woman's hearts were dispelled by the tension before them. What was originally a simple act of untying her belt had become a deep valley between propriety and true love!
"Ah!" Seeing the beauty's hesitation, the fiery-hearted rascal immediately hatched a plan. He once again channeled his inner energy, forcing out a cold sweat, his face pale as he cried out in utter agony.
A scream of agony descended like a divine sword capable of cutting through iron, severing the chains binding the beautiful woman to worldly constraints. Freed from her shackles, the woman, to the allure of Baoyu's deep voice, transformed into a nimble swallow, swiftly soaring over the valley of societal norms that had bound her heart, never to return. Only an overwhelming, boundless love flowed within her.
At this moment, Lady Wang, for the sake of her son, finally cast aside all constraints. If Baoyu still possessed a clear mind, he would surely have seen the surging passion in the woman's eyes, and with his knowledge from the future, he would have instantly understood her subconscious desires.
Although Lady Wang, of high status, had two sons and a daughter, her eldest son Jia Zhu died young, and her daughter Yuan Chun married into the palace and was rarely seen. Her husband, Jia Zheng, was not only rigid and lacked romance, but also frequently away on official duties. Unbeknownst to her, the seemingly glamorous Lady Wang placed all her hopes on her youngest son, Bao Yu. This carefree and beautiful woman focused all her attention on Bao Yu's every move. Over time, even the middle-aged woman herself didn't realize that Bao Yu had quietly become her everything, his status even surpassing that of Jia Zheng!
If Bao Yu had a clear "Oedipus complex," then she—Lady Wang—had a subconscious "Oedipus complex"!
Perhaps it was all fate. If the "fake" Baoyu hadn't appeared, if Jia Zheng hadn't tried to kill Baoyu, the beautiful woman's deep-seated "son complex" would never have been triggered. She would have lived her life like all the resentful wives of wealthy families, living a life of outward glamour, ultimately dying with endless resentment.
Now that all the "ifs" have happened, the beautiful woman's life will naturally change. At this moment, completely unaware that her destiny had deviated, the beauty hardened her heart and resolutely pulled upwards with her jade hand, silently tearing away the barrier between mother and son!
The invisible barrier shattered inch by inch in silence, and the fiery ambiguity trapped within surged out instantly, spreading rapidly throughout the small space.
Chapter Nineteen: The Hunt for M (Part 3) Although her resolve was firm, the shyness in the beauty's heart did not diminish in the slightest; on the contrary, it intensified. A deep blush quietly spread across her rosy face, adding endless allure to her shimmering glow.
With the intention of decisive action, Madam Wang's jade-like hand moved swiftly, almost savagely pulling Bao Yu's undergarment and trousers down to his knees.
"Ah!" This time, Bao Yu truly cried out in pain. The ornaments on his clothes scraped heavily against his wound due to the woman's excessive force, causing an unbearable, agonizing pain to his still-unhealed wound.
Lady Wang, who had been slightly averted from speaking, accidentally scratched Bao Yu's wound. Hearing his cry of pain, she opened her beautiful eyes wide in alarm. Before she could utter a word of concern, she was instantly stunned by the horrific scene before her. Her previous shyness and embarrassment vanished in shock, replaced by tears that welled up in her eyes, silently streaming down her face and onto her clothes.
Good heavens! Bao Yu had been beaten so badly! Lady Wang was momentarily stunned, then her eyes snapped back to reality by the wetness on her face. Before her eyes lay Bao Yu, from his buttocks to his thighs, not an inch of his body was unscathed. A crisscrossing pattern of bruises filled her vision; most of his skin was covered in gruesome welts, revealing raw flesh beneath. Where the skin wasn't broken, it was either red and swollen, or bruised and refusing to fade. Even the most hard-hearted person would be taken aback by the sight!
The other women of the Jia family, to avoid suspicion, had not seen Bao Yu's injuries. Seeing this, the beautiful woman's heart ached, and she instinctively embraced Bao Yu, weeping bitterly! In her grief, Lady Wang's resentment towards Jia Zheng deepened, and the image of Jia Zheng striking Baoyu hard on the back of the head with a wooden stick became incredibly vivid in her mind.
"Mother, I'm perfectly fine!" The beautiful woman's heartfelt tears washed away some of the dust in Baoyu's heart. Under the influence of this warm current, he involuntarily referred to himself as "my child" again, and the burning passion in his heart subsided slightly.
"My son, you've suffered so much!" Seeing Baoyu's shocking injuries, the beautiful woman's heart was no longer troubled. Her caring hand instinctively reached forward, wanting to gently soothe Baoyu's wounds from his ordeal; but as it approached his buttocks, her mind changed, fearing she might hurt him, and she stopped her warm hand in the air right next to the wound.
In truth, Baoyu's injuries were not as terrible as they appeared; his bones and muscles were not damaged in the slightest, only superficial wounds. This wasn't because the burly man showed mercy, but because of the protection of the Five-Colored Divine Stone—the most precious and universal treasure! If it were an ordinary person, let alone broken bones and tendons, their life would be in grave danger.
After the initial shock, the middle-aged woman, whose emotions had subtly shifted, felt only a slight panic. She tried her best to apply the ointment to Baoyu with her calm, delicate hands.
Following the doctor's instructions, she first dampened a silk handkerchief and gently wiped away the expired ointment, finishing the entire process hastily for fear of hurting Baoyu.
The woman, her eyes fixed straight ahead, didn't relax after the first step; instead, her heart tightened with anticipation of the upcoming contact.
Seeing Baoyu's face buried in the soft pillow, avoiding eye contact, Lady Wang finally calmed down slightly and focused intently on applying the ointment to Baoyu's thigh with her soft, jade-like fingers.
"Ah!" The moment the beautiful woman's fingers touched Bao Yu, the thoughtful fellow felt an electric-like tingling sensation running between his legs, which then penetrated his body and lingered in his heart. The naughty boy could no longer resist the stimulation from the bottom of his heart and involuntarily groaned.
"Yu'er, did I hurt you? Let me be gentler!" The beautiful woman's already extremely gentle movements became even more slow, like a feather lightly brushing against Bao Yu's thigh. He felt only a cool sensation where the ointment was applied, without any pressure, unlike the roughness and cruelty of a doctor applying medicine.
A thin layer of ointment finally completely covered the terrible purplish-blue color on his thigh. Although it was only for the time it takes to drink a cup of tea, the pampered beauty was already slightly sweaty and panting from trying her best to maintain steady and just-right gentleness. The
orchid-like fragrance entered Bao Yu's heart with the beauty's rapid breathing, making him even more excited and full of fantasies about the beautiful scene that was about to happen.
Although every beginning is difficult, Lady Wang felt nonetheless at this moment. Her relaxed mood involuntarily tightened again. After wiping Bao Yu's thigh from the side with an eye-level gaze, she moved on to his truly shameful buttocks. Because that was where the paddle had struck most hard, it was covered in blood, even near the foreign object.
Lady Wang, subconsciously glancing at the most intimate area, trembled as if electrocuted, quickly averting her gaze. Seeing all the injuries, her heart pounded wildly, as if a thousand horses were galloping.
The astute Bao Yu, seeing the beauty behind him remain motionless, easily understood the reason. Driven by a faint sense of justice within him, he didn't take any effective measures to escalate the situation, but instead helplessly chose silence—waiting in silence for change to unfold. Whether it was a quiet death or a sudden outburst, Bao Yu would accept it as fate, the direction he should choose in the future.
How could the beautiful woman understand the complex thoughts in Bao Yu's mind at this moment? If she had known, she would have run away without hesitation; but alas, she would not have known. So, after a moment's hesitation, the beauty finally offered herself up to the wolf, becoming the lamb that the wolf would forever cherish and protect!
Her trembling jade hands could no longer remain steady, and her shaking fingers moved erratically, sometimes lightly, sometimes heavily. However, Bao Yu, filled with ecstatic joy, felt no pain whatsoever. He only wanted to sing loudly and joyfully in the beauty's gentle "caresses"! The self-justifying "illusory Bao Yu" chuckled and smugly muttered to himself, "Great! Even fate wants me to bring you happiness—my mother! Wait for me, your son is coming!" Beneath the flushed face of the voluptuous beauty, her mind was in turmoil. Her trembling fingers slowly roamed over Bao Yu's buttocks. The endless shyness in her heart made this simple action difficult and the embarrassing moment seemed endlessly long.
The ambiguous wanderings ignited a burning passion in Bao Yu's heart, causing him to drift into reverie. He imagined that instead of healing and applying medicine, a beautiful and dignified mature woman was seducing him with alluring charm, using various flirtatious techniques to tempt him! How wonderful! This unique stimulation caused a blissful smile to involuntarily appear on Bao Yu's face in his fantasy. Fortunately, his face was buried in the soft pillow, and that lewd smile did not scare away the beautiful woman who was filled with trepidation.
Chapter Nineteen: The Hunt for M (Part 3) Even the longest road has an end. Although the beautiful woman intentionally or unintentionally slowed down her movements, the most ambiguous moment inevitably arrived amidst the bad boy's burning anticipation.
What to do? The slight resistance that had just lingered in the middle-aged beauty's mind was dispelled by her firm will. With no way out, the beauty could only grope her way forward like a blind man feeling an elephant, carefully approaching inch by inch with her fingers and palms. Finally, the meticulous and cautious beauty was lucky enough to stop in the right place.
The beautiful mother, forcing herself to stay calm, gently applied the ointment to the wound near her son's foreign object. She felt the time dragging on endlessly, her already taut heartstrings stretched to their limit. She knew that even the slightest pressure would cause her already fragile heart to collapse, and her throbbing heartstrings to snap.
As the beautiful mother's heart pounded wildly, Bao Yu, though motionless, was also burning with desire. An uncontrollable heat surged from the point where his hand touched the beautiful woman's. At this moment, the wicked voice in the boy's mind grew clearer and clearer. Driven by a deep-seated desire, a crazy thought swirled within him, making him want to spread his legs and let the beauty's hand naturally rest on his already swollen "little Bao Yu."
Just as his legs were about to move as he pleased, the "voice of justice" suppressed in the corner of his heart rang out again. The man, still undecided, had no choice but to forcibly stop his audacious and absurd act, straining all his mind to barely suppress the irresistible temptation!
The middle-aged beauty's blind, frantic hands finally withdrew after a flustered series of actions; as the gauze covered the wound, the shame and arousal in her heart were completely concealed.
"Yu'er, how are you feeling now? Did I hurt you?" Madam Wang gently covered Baoyu with the quilt, her hand, now calm, waving it dismissively, subjectively erasing the panic and embarrassment in her heart.
"I feel cool and comfortable!" Baoyu, conflicted in thought, did not look up to reply, burying his complex emotions in the soft pillow.
A uniquely charming and thrilling healing and medicine-applying session came to an end. Having successfully steered the beauty onto his predetermined path, Baoyu, amidst his excitement, felt a subtle, conflicting emotion. This wicked fellow never imagined that his burning lust would be breached by the glow of maternal instinct!
Let fate decide! With his motivation waning, Baoyu reluctantly chose to go with the flow, letting things take their course.
In truth, the wicked boy subconsciously still didn't want to let the beautiful woman go. His so-called "letting things take their course" was based on the premise that he had already set a trap. How could a lamb already falling into the wolf's jaws escape its fate as a meal?! A
smug smile quietly crept into Baoyu's heart, while the beautiful woman's face wore a relaxed smile, as if she had accomplished something of paramount importance.
Several days passed in the blink of an eye. During these ordinary days, evil triumphed over justice. The wicked son, consumed by lust, constantly demanded changes to his medication. Meanwhile, after several tense moments, the beautiful mother, thanks to the powerful human instinct for adaptation, now handled the situation with ease and natural comfort, showing no embarrassment whatsoever.
"Why are you staring at me like that again?! It's quite frightening!" The beautiful woman had just awoke from a sweet dream when she saw Bao Yu's unwavering gaze. The increasingly intense look in her son's eyes made her involuntarily flustered, and she could only use a half-hearted, coquettish tone to conceal the barely perceptible glint of something else in her eyes!
"Don't blame me, who told you to be so beautiful?!" After spending these days together, under Baoyu's subtle guidance, their way of addressing each other became more casual. The rascal's playful words now carried a hint of flirtation. "You want me not to look? No way! I'll look even if I go blind, I could look forever and never get enough!" "You rascal!" Unconsciously, Madam Wang gradually regained her youthful liveliness, lightly poking Baoyu's forehead like a young girl, her watery eyes giving the rascal a big, charming eye roll.
Whether the beautiful mother didn't notice Baoyu's intentions or it had become second nature, she didn't reprimand the naughty boy's increasingly outrageous words and actions, nor did she feel any resentment or resistance. She simply attributed everything to the intimacy between mother and son.
Nothing wrong with that, it's all normal! The beautiful woman repeatedly convinced herself of this, and seeing Baoyu's teasing expression as if he was about to speak, she quickly preemptively said, "You even dare to tease me, so don't cry out in pain when we change the dressing later!" The almost daily application of medicine had completely eliminated any awkwardness between them, instead becoming a delightful way to lighten the mood. As Baoyu's injury improved, the beautiful woman would even deliberately slap his now-healed thigh during their playful moments as punishment for his misbehavior!
"No! I surrender!" Baoyu, though looking distressed, was secretly overjoyed. His mind raced, realizing that the beautiful woman's instinctive resistance to him had completely disappeared, and she had unconsciously become familiar with and accepted his body. The third step of his plan had arrived at the perfect time to be implemented! This golden opportunity was fleeting; if he allowed the beauty time to calmly consider things, all his efforts would be in vain!
"Alright, you stay put and behave yourself. I'll go get you breakfast!" Madam Wang chuckled, gently pressing Baoyu's restless body back onto the bed. As his injuries improved, Baoyu, unable to bear the loneliness, repeatedly tried to get out of bed and walk around, but the beautiful woman repeatedly forbade him, fearing it would aggravate his injuries.
Just bear with it a little longer! Seeing his beautiful mother leave, Baoyu initially wanted to take the opportunity to get out of bed and walk around, but remembering the beautiful woman's sincere words of concern, he involuntarily chose to comply, merely lying on the bed doing push-ups out of boredom.
"I'm sleepy, will you rest with me for a while?" Just past noon, Baoyu, lost in thought, forced a tired expression, grabbed Madam Wang's smooth wrist, and pleaded with her to accompany him for a nap.
"Sigh!" The middle-aged beauty sighed helplessly. Although she was not sleepy at all, she couldn't resist her son's incessant pleas. Overwhelmed by tenderness, she involuntarily nodded in agreement. "You're so clingy!" Baoyu secretly chuckled upon hearing this. Of course he could "clingy"! Without some real skill, how could he have "clinged" this holy beauty into his arms?!
Under Baoyu's "forceful" insistence, the beautiful woman, now fully conscious, could only gracefully and slowly remove her outer garment. As her brocade dress and skirt disappeared, her thin inner garment could no longer conceal her alluring fullness. Her full, firm breasts and round, pert vulva gradually appeared in Baoyu's eyes and were etched into his mind, instantly transforming into an endless torrent of passion surging in his heart.
"Mother, come quickly!" The impatient young man grabbed the beautiful woman's wrist again and pulled her down beside his burning body. He then lifted the silk quilt, concealing their two alluring bodies in the darkness.
If an outsider were to witness their actions, it would undoubtedly spark endless suggestive thoughts. However, the beautiful woman, with no ulterior motives, felt perfectly at ease because of Baoyu's earlier efforts.
Caught off guard by Baoyu's sudden pull onto the bed, the middle-aged beauty paused slightly before a doting smile appeared on her full face. Without anger, she obediently lay down. Before her clear, beautiful eyes had even closed, a pair of large, burning hands had already quietly encircled her waist. The woman's heart trembled slightly, a sense of surprise rising in her sensitive heart. Instinctively, she felt that Baoyu was different from usual! After some deep thought, the beautiful woman subconsciously looked down at Baoyu's honest, large hands but couldn't find anything amiss. She could only
close her eyes and rest, her confusion lingering. She didn't know how much time had passed—perhaps a quarter of an hour, perhaps an hour, perhaps longer—but in the quiet stillness, the beautiful woman drifted off to sleep. Even in her dreams, her slightly furrowed brows remained, the question in her heart still unanswered.
As her breathing became steady and long, Baoyu, who had been "sleeping" for so long, suddenly stopped breathing, his tightly closed eyelids trembled slightly, and he quietly opened his bright eyes!
Upon "awakening," Baoyu made no move, only gazing intently at his beautiful mother's serene sleeping face with a deep, infatuated look. Although his love for Lady Wang stemmed from an indelible "Oedipus complex," after spending so many days together, the beautiful woman's kind nature and gentle aura had unknowingly occupied a large place in his mind; her mature and intoxicating beauty further captivated Baoyu's heart. Although he was with her day and night, he could not forget her stunning beauty even in his dreams, meeting her in his dreams every night and pouring out his heart to her. His
initial teasing had long since faded, and a subtle affection enveloped the heart of the amorous "false" Baoyu. The resentment stemming from Jia Zheng's beating was burned away by the fire of true love in the face of the beauty's unparalleled tenderness, and his clear mind was free of obsession and madness; with true love flowing through him, he had no intention of giving up on the beautiful woman, but instead became even more determined to win her heart.

Chapter 20 Hunting Plan (4 Part 1) His affectionate gaze changed with Bao Yu's thoughts. Gazing at the beautiful face so close to him, he couldn't help but secretly vow in his heart, "I must give you true happiness. How can the hateful Jia Zheng be worthy of such a beauty?!" If Bao Yu's feelings for Aunt Xue were more lust than love, then for Lady Wang, from this moment on, he—"fake" Bao Yu—was more love than lust.
A gentle breeze slipped in through the window, ruffling the beauty's hair. This subtle change didn't escape Baoyu's keen eyes. With incredibly gentle fingers, he tenderly combed a few stray strands of her disheveled hair. In that instant, Baoyu transformed from his feigned identity as a son into that of a doting husband. His handsome face shone with deep affection, and the lingering melancholy in the beauty's eyes caused a pang of pain in his heart.
The time had come! Baoyu steeled his resolve and resolutely embarked on a path of true love with an uncertain ending.
He was the "fake" Baoyu; what did he need to hesitate about?! Only by acting on his impulses could he avert the tragedy of the Red Chamber.
His fiery hands once again scurried over her voluptuous body. This time, instead of encircling her soft waist, they quietly moved upwards, decisively climbing her high, soft breasts. Afraid of waking his beautiful mother, Baoyu didn't unleash his passion; he simply parted his fingers to gently pinch her alluring nipples between them, then lingered motionless on her full breasts.
The same trick he had used on Fengjie, after careful preparation, was finally successfully applied to Madam Wang. He intended to use this old-fashioned but effective method to peel away the layers of defenses in the beautiful woman's heart, then completely melt the icy wall of propriety that had formed over the years, allowing the true feelings hidden deep within her heart to surge forth, free from the bitterness and burden of worldly constraints!
As his large hand landed on her ample bosom, Baoyu's thigh, not to be outdone, bent his knee and slowly pressed down on the beauty's long, slender legs. Though the touch was gentle, his intent was firm, making it impossible for the beauty to escape the wicked boy's "invasion" from body to soul! The skin-to-skin contact made the wicked boy feel a surge of heat and a rush of passion. Due to the subtle change in his emotions, the "little Baoyu" he had been suppressing was finally released. He suddenly thrust forward, pressing his hard, hot, and firm member tightly against the beautiful woman's smooth, creamy buttocks.
Seeing that everything was ready, Baoyu smiled and quietly drifted off to sleep. The magical power of his inner energy still faithfully permeated the small space, constantly observing the beautiful woman's subtle and moving movements in her sweet dream.
Time flowed by like water, as always, quietly and slowly.
Madam Wang, who was barely sleepy, awoke leisurely. Her beautiful, watery eyes were not yet fully open when the unusual sensation on her chest caused her breath to catch in her throat. A primal sense of foreboding rose in her heart, and she looked down in astonishment
at her chest. "Ah!" A gasp of shame and anger escaped her lips. She saw that her undergarment was half-undone, revealing her exposed skin. A hateful hand was leisurely placed on her private area, its fingers pressing tightly against her smooth breasts. Most infuriatingly, the force of its fingers had pinched the bright red nipples between them, and her unruly nipples were even excitedly protruding through her clothes, forming a clear outline.
How could this be?! The immense shock left the still-sleepy middle-aged woman's mind blank for a moment, rendering her incapable of thought.
A moment later, the beautiful woman, greatly "frightened," trembled and suddenly realized what was happening. Another scream, accompanied by her pale face, echoed endlessly in the small space. An endless blush of embarrassment instantly covered her panicked jade face, even her neck and earlobes were flushed red, making her extremely beautiful.
"Slap!" A crisp slap landed heavily on Bao Yu's face. The beautiful mother first forcefully pushed her son's lewd hand away from her breasts, and then gave the owner of the lewd hand a heavy slap. Her delicate body moved as if she wanted to get off the bed.
"Ah!" An even louder exclamation escaped the beautiful woman's lips. As she threw back the quilt, she discovered a leg as heavy as a mountain pressing down on her. Between the boy's legs was a stiff, foreign object pressed directly against her buttocks. The burning sensation, even through several layers of clothing, easily "scalded" her utterly panicked heart.
"Ouch, who hit me?!" At the same time, Baoyu, who had just been slapped hard, was jolted awake from his "sleep." His hazy eyes looked around in confusion, his large hand instinctively touching his burning cheek. He looked at Madam Wang with utterly innocent eyes and asked, "Mother, why did you hit me?! Did I make you angry?" Beneath his seemingly innocent face, his mind was racing. While the woman's reaction was not unexpected, the extent of her agitation had caught him off guard, and he hadn't anticipated receiving such a heavy slap! The unexpected turn of events startled Baoyu, who hastily tried to salvage the situation with affectionate words, inwardly sighing, "What's going on?! Did I act too hastily?
" "Angry? You dare ask me if I'm angry?!" The gentle and peaceful Lady Wang vanished, replaced by a furious tiger, her jade-like face turning ashen, her eyes blazing with shame and anger. She involuntarily raised her hand to slap Baoyu again, "I can't believe you're so presumptuous! I've spoiled you for nothing!" "Slap!" Baoyu, watching the seemingly slow slap in his eyes, didn't flinch, obediently accepting the second blow.
"Ah!" The thoughtful boy screamed with the sound of a slap, his eyes filled with endless grievance and confusion as he looked at the beautiful woman and said, "Mother, why did you hit me for no reason?!" "For no reason? Don't you know what you did?!" Seeing Baoyu's swollen cheek and the intense innocence and sorrow in his eyes, Madam Wang's heart, which was filled with anger, couldn't help but feel a pang of pain. She secretly hoped that all of this was just a misunderstanding.
Chapter Twenty: The Hunting Plan (Part 4) "I was sleeping the whole time, and I was only woken up by you, Mother!" Baoyu lay on his stomach and said loudly in dissatisfaction, "What bad things could I have done while I was sleeping?!" "You were taking a nap the whole time, and you didn't wake up in the middle of the day?" Madam Wang's anger subsided slightly, and her beautiful eyes stared intently at Baoyu's aggrieved face.
"I had such a beautiful dream, but you woke me up halfway through!" Baoyu's "sad" eyes flashed with a hint of composure, then his fascination with the dream's beauty returned, and he murmured repeatedly, "That fairy was so beautiful! Holding her and smelling her ethereal fragrance made me feel like I was floating on air. If only we had a fairy in our family!" Lady Wang couldn't find a flaw in Baoyu's expression. Seeing his infatuated gaze, the beautiful woman felt a strange pang of jealousy amidst her raging anger. She scolded him, half-believing, half-doubting, "What nonsense are you spouting? What fairy, what witch?" "Heh, heh..." Baoyu's aggrieved expression turned into a silly grin. He scratched his head, his handsome face slightly flushed, his mind racing to perfect his self-portrait in a moment. "I'm not talking nonsense, but about the fairies I saw in my dream." He paused slightly, then, feigning longing, Baoyu finished his newly made-up story. "In my dream, I went to a fairyland called 'Illusory Realm.' Not only were the flowers and trees beautiful and the birds flying everywhere, but there were also many celestial beauties who were more beautiful than the world itself. They also..." Seeing that Baoyu spoke as if it were true, Lady Wang's anger temporarily turned into a woman's natural curiosity. Although she was half-believing and half-doubting, seeing Baoyu stop halfway through his hesitant speech, she couldn't help but ask coquettishly, "What else? Let's see what you can make up!" "I'm too embarrassed to say, Mother will scold me again!" Baoyu lowered his handsome face, his face flushed, looking very ashamed.
"What's wrong with dreaming? Tell me, I won't blame you!" Curiosity is indeed invincible. In her rage, Lady Wang, under the mischievous boy's realistic expression, even put aside her previous embarrassment. Perhaps the beautiful woman hadn't forgotten, but subconsciously hoped it was a misunderstanding, which is why she unconsciously cooperated with Baoyu.
Seeing the frost on his beautiful mother's plump face thaw, Baoyu, secretly pleased, immediately raised his head and gazed at the beautiful woman, saying leisurely with a hint of reminiscence, "In my dream, after entering a fairyland, a fairy emerged from among the fairies, claiming to be the Fairy Disenchantment who governs the affairs of the mortal world!" As Baoyu said this, he couldn't help but silently apologize to the "real" Fairy Disenchantment, hoping she wouldn't mind being angry, as he had no other choice.
He paused slightly, then continued his fabrication, "Out of curiosity, I asked the fairy
what 'wind and moon' meant. After all, I've never heard of such a thing in the manor! By the way, Mother, do you know what 'wind and moon' is?" The most innocent expression in history appeared on the "fake" Baoyu's face. His eyes, filled with intense curiosity, were fixed on the beauty. Beneath his "adorable" face, a broad smile bloomed, all the resentment from being beaten earlier vanishing in the deep shyness of the beautiful woman's lowered face.
"Mother, does 'wind and moon' refer to the wind and the moon? The fairy 'Disenchantment' hasn't explained it to me yet." Seeing the beauty's eyes welling up with tears, Baoyu mischievously added another layer of shy passion.
"This..." Under Baoyu's persistent questioning, Lady Wang could no longer remain silent. Her beautiful face instantly filled with embarrassment. As a mature woman, she naturally understood the true meaning of "romance," but explaining such shameful words to her son was an impossible task. She stammered, unsure how to begin.
The middle-aged beauty did not suspect that Baoyu had ulterior motives in asking this shameful question. After all, under the strict rules of the Jia family, Baoyu was naturally not exposed to such "lewd talk." Although in reality, the sons of wealthy families were far more knowledgeable about "romance" than ordinary people, the false doctrines gilded them with a righteous facade. Under the control of her subconscious, the beautiful mother unconsciously chose her son's innocence.
"Yu'er, you'll understand after your wedding; there's no use in saying it now!" Forcing herself to remain calm, Lady Wang casually brushed it off, then asked with feigned curiosity, "What else did you dream about?" "Oh!" Baoyu sighed softly in disappointment, his face "sincerely" lost in his memories. His slightly helpless words echoed in the bedroom, "The Fairy Disenchantment, like a mother, didn't explain anything to me. She just smiled and said, 'Young Master Jia's visit to the 'Illusory Realm' is enough to prove our fate. I'll let you truly experience what human romance is all about!'" "What?!" The beautiful woman, overjoyed at her son's passing, couldn't help but interrupt Baoyu with a startled cry. Her full, jade-like face flushed, her red lips parted slightly, and her beautiful eyes widened. The sensitive woman had already vaguely sensed what Baoyu's next dream was about, her shy heart trembling wildly. She was secretly astonished; how could Baoyu have such a fantastical dream?!
The scheming fellow pretended not to hear the beautiful woman's exclamation and continued, "I felt a moment of disorientation, and in the blink of an eye, I was in the hall with the fairy. The once quiet hall suddenly burst into music, and countless beauties sang and danced around me. Although I couldn't understand what they were dancing, I felt it was extremely similar to the 'Rainbow Feather Robe' described in ancient books. The fairies were dressed just as described in the ancient books, in light gauze skirts that were barely visible!" As he said this, Baoyu deliberately flashed a burning light in his eyes, and his fiery gaze entered the heart of the beautiful woman who was listening intently to the "story." This made her heart skip a beat, and she subconsciously turned her head away, breaking the strange feeling of their eyes meeting.
Unaware that she was lost in a fog of confusion, Lady Wang's affection for Baoyu had subtly shifted. A small crack had appeared in the hidden feelings she dared not touch deep within her heart. Seeing the beautiful woman's shy and alluring demeanor, the wicked boy secretly rejoiced, seizing the opportunity to add fuel to the fire. He deliberately spoke with feigned emotion and a hint of mystery, saying, "Surrounded by so many fairies, I felt as if I were in a fairyland. What's even stranger is that so many beauties seemed familiar, as if they were the transformed forms of many of my sisters!" This child, he was having a dream about his own sisters! Truly… The beautiful woman couldn't help but inwardly complain. She wanted to reprimand Baoyu for his inappropriate behavior, but then she realized he was dreaming. How could she explain it? Should she say he was dreaming about what he had been thinking about during the day?! Wouldn't that imply he had incestuous feelings for his sisters?! Her already "excessively frightened" Baoyu might not be able to bear it! Alas!
Just as the beautiful woman was struggling with a myriad of thoughts and finding it difficult to make a decision, the bad boy's next words immediately jolted her, leaving her stunned and at a loss for what to do!
Although the "fake" Baoyu was engrossed in weaving his story, his mind remained constantly observing the beauty. Seeing her conflicted expression subtly reveal itself, he knew his subtle hints had successfully taken root in her heart. The clever fellow seized the opportunity, changing his tone, his deep, resonant voice stirring a storm within the beautiful woman's heart. "I also found it quite strange at the time, and couldn't help but stare. The more I looked at those fairies, the more they resembled my sisters. What was even stranger was that the most beautiful woman among them was actually…" "And what?" Seeing Baoyu hesitate and remain silent, the captivated beauty couldn't help but press him, unwittingly falling into the wonderful trap the wicked boy had dug for her.
In this special space where only the two of them were alone, during the special time the "fake" Baoyu was recovering, and under the influence of all the carefully laid "east winds" by the wicked boy, the beautiful woman completely forgot everything worldly, quietly opening her heart to drift leisurely in the ripples of affection.
"How could it be..." Baoyu hesitated for a moment, then his expression hardened, and he made a sudden decision: "It even resembles Mother's face, ha, ha..." Before he could finish speaking, the mischievous boy, fearing the beauty's anger, deliberately used a light laugh to defuse the heavy ambiguity, hoping to mislead the beautiful woman's suspicions of his ulterior motives.
"You..." Baoyu's silly laugh indeed made the beautiful woman, who had been furious, pause for a moment. Unable to find a way to reprimand her son, Lady Wang helplessly changed her tone, and the anger in her beautiful eyes subsided somewhat. "You child, you're talking nonsense!" "I'm not lying, I swear this is absolutely a dream!" The boy, who completely disregarded his oath, had an unwaveringly "innocent" gaze, which made the beautiful woman feel a strange sense of joy amidst her anger; this subtle joy, though extremely faint, was a difference in quality and quantity! Once a qualitative change occurs, how far away can a quantitative change be?!
The middle-aged beauty, filled with a mixture of shame and anger, was too embarrassed to ask about the rest of her "dream.
" Her delicate body, which had initially intended to flee, was held back by a woman's natural curiosity, stopping her beside the dangerous young man. The beauty's silence didn't mean the rascal wouldn't continue! The "innocent" "fake" Baoyu seemed completely oblivious to the woman's unease, and continued his sentimental recollection: "When I saw you, Mother, among the fairies, I was overjoyed and couldn't help but step towards you." Hearing the rascal repeatedly call her "Mother," Lady Wang's heart pounded like a thousand horses. All her previous resentment vanished under the sudden, inexplicable stimulation, leaving only endless embarrassment within her. She cried out inwardly, "No way! Yu'er wouldn't dream about me… No! Stop it!" Before the beauty could utter her shy protest, Baoyu had already smoothly changed the subject, melting her heart. Extremely uneasy, "I had barely taken a step when the Fairy Disenchantment immediately grabbed my child and said, 'Alright, you've enjoyed the wine, song, and dance; it's time to let you know what true romance is!'" "Hmm!" The beautiful mother, hearing that her son was about to tell her about his erotic dreams, couldn't help but let out a heavy groan in her heart, and then silently cried out, "No!" Chapter Twenty-One: The Hunt for M Plan (Part 5) Just as the last vestiges of rationality made the beautiful woman want to stop him, a mysterious thought, carrying a powerful current of heat, instantly flowed through the beauty's entire heart. An electric shock-like numbness silenced the movement of her lips and tongue, leaving the beautiful woman's delicate body trembling slightly, her conflicted eyes reflecting intense curiosity and anticipation.
This was a special trap, a passion trap carefully set by a bad boy! Except at this moment, in any other place, the dignified and virtuous beauty would not have had such inexplicable thoughts, but this "what if" just happened!
A smug glint flashed in Baoyu's eyes as he continued his innocent "recollection" of the dream: "The Fairy Disenchantment waved her sleeve in front of me again, and I felt a blur before my eyes. In an instant, I found myself in a fragrant, elegant, and exquisite bedroom. All the dancing fairies had vanished, leaving only the Fairy Disenchantment and me alone in the room." Hearing this, Lady Wang's heart tightened slightly, a fleeting hint of shyness crossing her composed face. She couldn't help but connect Baoyu's description of the dream to her reality, and her heart skipped a beat. She realized that she and her son had been alone together for many days!
"Then the Fairy Disenchantment actually danced alone before me, and most miraculously, her clothes seemed to flutter like colorful clouds as she danced," Baoyu said, his words mingling with his own dreamlike reverie. His almost murmured musings transformed into an endless, burning warmth that filled the beautiful woman's long-dormant heart. "The fairy's clothes disappeared one by one, fluttering in the air. She gently stretched out her jade-like arms and gazed at me with intoxicating eyes. At that moment, I felt a dazzling light before my eyes, and could only clearly see the fairy's captivating gaze and her smooth, half-naked body!" The intense heat made Baoyu's mouth dry, and he subconsciously swallowed, trying to extinguish the burning sensation in his heart. "I involuntarily walked towards the fairy maiden. My clothes vanished with a wave of her magical hand. Completely bewildered, I rushed forward and embraced the stunning beauty. But I had no idea what to do next, so I just foolishly held her soft, alluring body." Lost in his fantasies, Baoyu stole a glance at the beautiful woman, her face flushed and eyes glazed. Then, in a dreamlike, almost hypnotic tone, he continued, "Fortunately, the fairy maiden was perceptive. Her plump hands hooked around my neck, and she gently laid me down on the soft couch, and then…" "Ah!" "Yay!" Two similar yet different cries of surprise suddenly rang out, shattering the wicked boy's whimsical dream.
The "Ah!" came from the middle-aged beauty's rosy lips. Hearing the crucial part, the beauty inadvertently noticed the wicked boy's seemingly tangible, burning gaze fixed on her body. Sensitive to this, her mind immediately raced. Could it be that Baoyu had imagined her as some kind of fairy maiden?!
The beauty, upon thinking this, felt a rush of heat to her head and could no longer suppress the panic in her heart, letting out a cry.
An unexpected "Ah!" came from Baoyu's mouth. Just as the man, caught up in his reverie, was about to take his "dream" to its climax, the "Spirit Jade" on his chest suddenly became incredibly hot, like flames, causing him to cry out in pain.
Disrupted from his "refined mood," Baoyu touched the jade on his chest through his clothes in utter astonishment. The jade returning to normal only deepened his confusion. A flash of inspiration struck him: it must be the "Fairy Disenchantment" punishing him!
What a sin! Realizing what had happened, Baoyu repeatedly apologized to the fairy in his heart, "Fairy sister, you are a celestial being with boundless compassion, please forgive me this time! I had no choice!" As the rogue bowed and scraped in his heart, he couldn't help but ask himself if he would still fantasize like this if things happened again. He immediately answered in his heart without hesitation, "Definitely not—it won't change! Heh, heh..." After two exclamations, the room became quiet, with only two rapid breaths rising and falling. The suffocating ambiguity grew stronger with the hot breaths exhaled by Baoyu and Lady Wang!
The beautiful mother was too shy to speak. She did not turn around and run away, nor did she ask any questions. She just turned her jade face to the side, blushing, towards the "despicable" Baoyu.
Having learned his lesson, Baoyu, though eager to perfect his dream, was also afraid of the unbearable heat of the divine stone. He could only laugh it off, dispelling the subtle, romantic atmosphere in the room. Changing the subject, he said lightly, "Just then, I felt a sudden dizziness and woke up. It turns out you woke me up, Mother! Hehe..." The relaxed-looking man's handsome face showed intense confusion, his eyes flashing with innocence. "By the way, Mother, why did you hit me?" "I..." The once righteous and beautiful woman was speechless, unsure how to explain. At this moment, her anger had long since dissipated, and she subconsciously... She convinced herself, "So that's how it is! It seems I misunderstood Baoyu. He didn't have any ill intentions towards me; he was just having a wet dream!" Under Baoyu's silent questioning, the beautiful woman could only force herself to smile calmly, "It was my misunderstanding, Yu'er. Don't be afraid. I will never hit you again!" "Mother is so good!" The boy, who had successfully passed the test, excitedly rushed into the beautiful woman's arms, causing the middle-aged woman, whose heart was still not at peace, to tremble. She lost her usual composure and wanted to turn away from Baoyu's touch, but she was afraid of hurting him again, so she could only awkwardly stand stiffly by the bed and let him hug her.
Baoyu didn't take the opportunity to take advantage of the situation. He simply nestled obediently in the beautiful woman's arms, intoxicated by her mature and fragrant embrace. The shrewd man knew that haste would only lead to disaster. If he showed any impatience at this moment, he would frighten the bewildered beauty, and she would fly away from his grasp like a little bird.
After a while, seeing that Baoyu hadn't made any move, Lady Wang's tense heartstrings finally relaxed along with her delicate body. She gently patted her son's head with boundless affection, secretly scolding herself for being suspicious.
As time passed, the mother and son embraced each other for a long time. Warmth filled the quiet bedroom. Neither of them wanted to break the beautiful atmosphere. The boy, who had a serious "Oedipus complex," quietly closed his eyes under the boundless love of his mother, a happy smile on his lips, and truly drifted into a sweet dream.
A storm that nearly undone all of Baoyu's efforts has passed, and the "bad boy," having learned his lesson, is now more cautious, slowly but surely pushing forward his plan to hunt down the mother.
In a boundless, colorful space, within a dreamlike realm more beautiful than a fairyland, the most beautiful female Bodhisattva of the Three Realms awakens from her meditation for the tenth time. For the first time in millennia, the most beautiful woman in the Three Realms, her mind in turmoil, cannot remain still. A look of anger flashes across her stunningly beautiful face as she mutters to herself, "You 'fake' Baoyu, you dare to flirt with me! Just wait and see how I deal with you later!" Despite Baoyu's reluctance, his extraordinary physique allows his injuries to heal at a speed far exceeding that of ordinary people. With the "healing" period drawing to a close, the guy, whose ultimate goal has not yet been achieved, really wants to stab himself twice in the buttocks. However, this most effective method is just a thought; there are many clever plans to win the beauty's heart, and he wouldn't be foolish enough to resort to self-harm!
Along with Baoyu's injuries, the beautiful woman's struggling heart also recovered. After several days of reflection, seeing her son's gradual improvement, the beautiful mother's chaotic thoughts finally cleared. Even if the beauty was foolish and simple-minded, after Baoyu's uncontrollable advances every day, she vaguely realized the bad boy's true illicit intentions.
Unfortunately, having already fallen into the trap, she felt no anger; instead, a faint, almost imperceptible joy took root in her heart. The dignified and proper beauty didn't think about how to reprimand Baoyu; instead, the thought of escaping swirled in her mind! Escape, perhaps, was the only option for the incredibly conflicted beauty.
Chapter Twenty-One: The Hunting Plan (Part 5) After calming down, Madam Wang couldn't help but think of the inescapable reality outside the door where the two were alone: the terrifying human heart and gossip! The middle-aged beauty, her mind returning to the mortal world, set a final bottom line for herself as she gradually sank deeper into depravity, secretly thinking that everything should return to normal, return to peace!
She would simply consider it all a beautiful dream born of resentment!
The beautiful woman, her eyes still hazy with a sense of certainty, had lost her inner confusion. A strong confidence told her she could erase this beautiful dream from her memory! She would still be the dignified and noble Lady Wang of the Rongguo Mansion, and Baoyu would still be her obedient and well-behaved son!
The first rays of dawn heralded the start of another bright and beautiful day.
Her long, slightly upturned eyelashes trembled, and as her eyelids slowly opened, her beautiful eyes added a touch of intoxicating spring to the bedroom. Lady Wang, not fully awake, instinctively looked down at her chest.
After a night of touching, thanks to the body's powerful adaptability, although she couldn't feel the pressure of Baoyu's large hands, her heart was certain that the rascal's large hands were still lingering on her full breasts.
The beauty's downward gaze showed no surprise; everything was exactly as she had expected! Warm hands were now tightly gripping her breasts, an ambiguous scene that had remained unchanged for days; those "hateful" fingers still shamefully held her rosy nipples between them, the appropriate pressure and the heat of the hands making her breasts stand up and bulge out every day! Unable to control the changes in her delicate body, the beautiful woman sighed helplessly, glaring at the still-sleeping Baoyu with a mixture of reproach and resentment. She didn't scold the wicked boy, and even forgot to remove his mischievous hands. Unable to bear reprimanding her son, the doting woman, under the influence of Baoyu's incorrigible bad habits for days, whether out of habit or some inexplicable inner turmoil, unconsciously gave up resistance, allowing Baoyu's unrestrained hands in his "dream" to move "unconsciously" over her soft, beautiful body. However, whenever his hands attacked her last line of defense, no matter how confused she was, she always resolutely pushed him away, not giving the wicked boy a chance to cross the line.
A subtle shift in affection and tenderness emanated from the beautiful mother's eyes, lingering deeply on Baoyu's handsome face, which held a hint of mischief. That wicked smile, far from repulsing her, added to Baoyu's masculine charm, drawing countless beauties from the Red Chamber into the carefully woven web of love without complaint.
"If only he weren't my son!" the beautiful woman murmured almost imperceptibly, a flicker of sadness crossing her exquisite face. She then pondered with conflicting emotions: if he weren't her son, how could she be so intimate with him?! She certainly wouldn't have let him into her heart!
"Mother, you woke up before me again! Heh, heh..." Baoyu opened his eyes with boundless joy, his clear voice accompanied by a natural, gentle caress on the woman's breasts.
"Mmm!" A passionate, tingling sensation spread from her full breasts to the beautiful woman's heart. The intoxicating pleasure made her sway precariously on the tightrope of desire!
The moment her engorged, bright red nipples fell between Bao Yu's two fingers, the beauty's heart trembled violently as she squeezed her round, jade-like legs tightly together, suppressing the endless surge of heat. She resolutely slapped Bao Yu's large hand away, her voice trembling as she gently scolded, "Yu'er, don't! I'll get angry if you do that again!" Alas! The time was not yet ripe! Bao Yu helplessly withdrew his large hand, his disappointment clearly showing on his handsome face. Seeing this, the beautiful woman's heart tightened again, but the vague thoughts in her mind became clearer. She realized that the wicked boy could not feel any remorse for his improper intentions towards her, but only strengthened his resolve to escape.
Thinking of this, the beautiful woman said softly to Baoyu, who was now able to lie down, "Yu'er, your injuries have basically healed, and you should go back to Yihong Courtyard!" "No!" Baoyu blurted out in his haste to object. He was about to launch into a long speech to persuade his beautiful mother, but the well-prepared woman spoke first, shattering his dream. Her resolute words gave him no chance to refute!
"No matter what, you must go back to Yihong Courtyard today. I already told the old lady yesterday, and they will come to pick you up soon!" The beauty paused slightly, and seeing that Baoyu was about to speak again with a face full of resentment, she hurriedly and cruelly continued:
"Your uncle and the others have sent several letters, asking your aunt and me to go home to see the old lady. Because your injuries have not healed, I have had to postpone it several times. Now that your injuries have healed, your aunt and I should go home to visit our family!" Chapter Twenty-Two Hunting Plan (6 Part 1) The beautiful woman's continuous improper words sealed the bad boy's full enthusiasm within his heart. Baoyu saw her firmness in the beauty's resolute expression. Knowing that he could not force her, he was speechless. A sadness from the bottom of his heart swirled up and filled his entire heart in an instant. A moment later, a gloomy current surged up and filled Baoyu's cold, bright eyes.
The middle-aged woman poured out her heart in one breath, feeling as if the heavy stone that had been weighing on her chest for days had finally disappeared, and all her endless frustration had been released. After this brief relief, however, came a profound emptiness in her heart, a strange sense of loss welling up within this void. If not for her unwavering resolve, she almost couldn't help but change her mind.
Silence, utter silence, a silence as if life itself had been extinguished! Mother and son looked at each other in speechless silence.
Seeing the growing sorrow in Baoyu's eyes, the beautiful woman, who doted on her son immensely, broke the deathly silence first. Her deep voice was earnest and earnest, "Yu'er, don't force me anymore. I've thought it through; this is a grave mistake! If you truly cherish me, forget all of this!" She paused slightly, suppressing the pain in her heart, and silently vowed, "If you cannot repent and insist on forcing me, I will never return to the Wang family!" "Mother, please don't be angry. I will repent!" Seeing the icy expression on Madam Wang's face, her words filled with unwavering resolve, Baoyu felt a genuine panic. Although he harbored ill intentions towards the beautiful woman, all his schemes were for her happiness. If his pursuit only brought her endless suffering, what would be the point of even obtaining her body?
"Are you serious?!" The beautiful woman stared at Baoyu's face with questioning eyes. Seeing that his calm and sincere expression did not seem fake, she nodded heavily, feeling both happy and disappointed.
"Yu'er, I'm so relieved to see you like this!" Madam Wang sighed softly, her voice filled with emotion, but she forced a calm smile. "Hurry up and make the arrangements; the old lady will come to fetch you soon!" The beautiful mother couldn't help but gently stroke Bao Yu's head. "After you return, I'll go back to the Wang family with your aunt today!" "What? You still don't believe me?" Bao Yu grabbed the beautiful woman's smooth hand with great urgency, anxiously declaring, "As long as Mother doesn't leave, I'll swear it!" Startled and flustered, Bao Yu raised his hand to the sky. He would rather suppress his feelings forever, rather grieve alone in the dead of night than force the beautiful woman onto a path of eternal desolation!
"Oh! You child!" Madam Wang's doting gaze returned as she chuckled and pulled down Baoyu's raised arm. "I only said I was going home for a visit, not that I wasn't coming back! What I said before was absolutely true. Your uncles have urged me several times, but I kept refusing because of your injuries. As long as you can repent, how could I bear to abandon my dear Yu'er!" "Mother, please don't lie to your child! Otherwise, I won't be at peace with myself!" Baoyu, caught in the turmoil of his emotions, feared losing his only mother's love and completely lost his usual shrewdness. In his terror, he suppressed even his illicit desires deep within his heart, his heart and eyes filled with pure, innocent affection and longing!
"Hee, hee..." A clear, sweet laugh rang out from outside the door, interrupting the tender moment between mother and son. Before the laughter had even faded, the charming young girl had already entered without being seen, throwing back the curtain and rushing in. "Brother Bao, I'm so glad to see you!" Seeing Xiangyun burst into the room, Baoyu and Lady Wang quickly composed themselves, instantly concealing any suspicious expressions beneath their calm faces.
"Sister Yun, I'm not some prince or minister, what's there to be ashamed of?!" Baoyu chuckled, diverting the girl's gaze, his body naturally shifting to one side, slightly away from the beautiful woman by the bedside.
"Brother Bao, you still have the nerve to say that! I've been here for so long already," Xiangyun said, her round face showing displeasure as she approached Baoyu with a coquettish tone. "Every time I want to visit you, Grandmother says I can't, saying you've developed some kind of fright, as if I'm some kind of ghost or spirit trying to scare your precious darling!" Before Baoyu could respond, the old lady's cheerful voice rang out from outside the door, "You silly girl, you're talking behind my back again, aren't you!" "It's no wonder, Sister Yun, I think she's jealous of Baoyu!" Li Wan helped Grandmother Jia in, her voluptuous figure still as alluring as ever, and after so many days apart, the wicked boy couldn't help but have his lustful thoughts stirred again.
"Grandmother, Yu'er greets you!" Baoyu, deeply moved by the old lady's affection, noticed her furrowed brows and the faint sadness in her kind eyes. His quick wit told him it was because of his beating, and he hurriedly jumped off the bed to greet her. Together with Li Wan, they helped her to sit on the warm kang (heated brick bed).
"Grandmother, Yun'er didn't say anything bad about you!" The innocent and lovely Xiangyun nestled beside the old lady, gently punching her shoulder with her delicate hand, and playfully complained, "I'm just blaming Brother Bao! Even with this strange illness, he can't forget Yun'er! It seems he doesn't respect me at all, hmph!" "Sister Yun is right," came the echo from Daiyu, who had just crossed the threshold. The exquisitely beautiful and intelligent Daiyu, radiating endless pity, seemed like a willow in full bloom. Like the wind, the words reflected in Baoyu's eyes. "Brother Bao hasn't recognized us sisters since he fell ill. People say that people speak the truth when they're drunk, but I think he's revealing his true feelings while he's sick. He deserves to be punished!" Surrounded by the two women, the boy knew he was no match and could only laugh awkwardly. "Heh, heh... Sister Lin, you've wronged me!" The usually sharp-tongued Daiyu didn't press her advantage. A beautiful smile appeared on her stunningly beautiful face, like Xi Shi clutching her heart, as she leisurely walked to a large chair and sat down.
"Brother Bao," another clear, melodious voice rang out. The three sisters of the Spring Festival followed closely behind. The straightforward Tanchun happily strode forward and scanned Baoyu from head to toe. Her earnest gaze made Baoyu uneasy. He subconsciously looked down at himself, but still couldn't understand why his half-sister was looking at him like that.
Chapter Twenty-Two: The Hunt for M (Part 6) "Hehe, hehe..." Tan Chun's hearty laughter revealed the answer. She teased Bao Yu,
"Let's see what makes you so special that you were able to overturn four or five big men in one go that day!" "Brother Bao must have taken the super strength pill from the street performers on Tianqiao. I told you last time, but you didn't believe me!" Xiang Yun, still thinking about the legendary "miracle drug," didn't hesitate to help Tan Chun kick him when he was down.
Beneath Baoyu's composed and comfortable expression lay a startled heart, unsure how to explain his sudden change. Just as he struggled to speak, his elder sister Yingchun, understanding his embarrassment, swiftly eased his awkwardness. Her beautiful, watery eyes revealed undisguised deep concern, and her gentle, soft voice, careful not to frighten the newly recovered Baoyu, said, "Brother Bao, seeing you like this puts our minds at ease!" Behind Yingchun, Xichun remained silent as always, but a relieved smile was evident on her delicate face. The discerning Baoyu, after thanking Yingchun for her concern, silently nodded back to Xichun, expressing his gratitude with his expressive eyes.
As Xichun sat down, she returned Baoyu's concerned gaze once more. In the silent exchange between the naturally aloof girl and Baoyu, a sense of kinship arose within her. She hadn't expected that Baoyu was becoming more and more to her liking! Among the more than a thousand people in the Jia household, none could communicate with her through eye contact like Baoyu. The young woman, long lonely, felt a surge of warmth. Although she felt uncomfortable, she was secretly delighted. To have one true friend in a lifetime is enough!
After the women were seated, Baoyu subconsciously looked towards the door, his heart fluttering with longing for Fengjie and Aunt Xue, whom he hadn't seen for many days, and for Xiren and Baobei in the Yihong Courtyard.
"Brother Bao, are you looking at Sister Bao?!" Sitting on the other side of the old lady, Xiangyun's bright eyes never left Baoyu, and she noticed even his slightest movements. A playful glint appeared in the girl's eyes, and she deliberately sighed in a low voice, "Sister Bao told me that since you don't want to see us, she won't come to see you either!" Baoyu naturally didn't believe the girl's teasing words. Even the sentimental and stubborn Daiyu wasn't angry, let alone the elegant and graceful Baochai! His questioning gaze involuntarily turned to his mature and steady sister-in-law, Li Wan.
"Baochai is helping her aunt pack in the courtyard," Li Wan indeed did not disappoint Baoyu. The moment their eyes met, the considerate young woman quickly explained to him, "Because there are so many things to pack, Xifeng is also helping to organize. They will be back soon!" A thousand thoughts flashed through Li Wan's gentle smile. Seeing that Baoyu was safe and sound, the kind-hearted beauty finally felt relieved. It could be said that among everyone, Li Wan was more sorrowful and worried about Baoyu's life because her husband had also died a violent death. It wasn't that she had fallen in love with Baoyu, but subconsciously she mistook her resemblance to her uncle-in-law for Jia Zhu—Baoyu's deceased brother! The unfortunate Li Wan had been widowed for many years, and often woke up in the middle of the night with tears soaking her clothes, hoping that the tragedy had never happened, and often fantasizing about how wonderful it would have been if her husband had survived that day!
Unbeknownst to her, the stunningly beautiful Li Wan had placed her hopes and expectations on her equally unfortunate uncle; in her heart, there was always a strange fantasy, as if Baoyu's escape from danger was due to Jia Zhu's blessing from the underworld! Baoyu's safe return was as if her husband had been brought back to life, making the beautiful woman, lost in fantasy, feel extremely satisfied and at ease!
"Oh!" Feeling slightly disappointed, Baoyu's thoughts shifted, and the image of his beloved Xiren's anxious and impatient face flashed through his mind. Thinking of this, he couldn't help but steel himself and approach Xiangyun, who was very close to Xiren. "Sister Yun, haven't Xiren and the others come?" "Hehe..." Xiangyun laughed before answering, teasingly saying, "Brother Bao, you're so biased! Why don't you ask how I am?" Before Baoyu could reply, the innocent girl changed the subject again, "Your Xiren has been waiting outside for a long time, just waiting for the old lady to give the word to bring you back to the mansion. Don't worry!" Not daring to argue back, Baoyu felt a surge of joy upon hearing this. Temporarily freed from his infatuation with Lady Wang, he suddenly realized that, unknowingly, the few maids he hadn't paid much attention to had already occupied a place in his heart! The brief separation dispelled the fog of desire in his heart, and the true feelings between the man and woman finally broke through the clouds and saw the clear sky!
Endless threads of affection flew across the distance to the girl waiting outside the door. Amidst the turmoil of emotions, Baoyu sighed with a thousand emotions, how disgusting the hierarchical system of feudal ethics was! A curtain symbolizing status and power blocked the deeply affectionate beauties from entering. Although their hearts were eager and their eyes were full of expectation, they had to stop at the gate of hierarchy!
Baoyu, who had never cared about the ethics, changed his mind and was about to get up and go out to meet Xiren. Before his feet could even touch the ground, the curtain moved first, and many peerless beauties appeared in the world at the same time.
The stunningly beautiful Baochai, accompanied by the voluptuous Aunt Xue, entered first. Their resemblance to each other was striking, and smiles appeared on their faces almost simultaneously as they approached with graceful poise. The beautiful Fengjie, accompanied by Ping'er, followed. Fengjie's phoenix eyes narrowed slightly, her unspoken affection reaching the depths of her lover's heart, while Ping'er smiled and gave Baoyu a reassuring look that everything was alright.
Dazzled by the myriad colors, Baoyu was still reeling from the overwhelming beauty when, as expected, Xiangling entered, accompanied by the unexpected Aunt Zhao. Xiangling, though still bearing a trace of melancholy in her eyes, seemed to have undergone a transformation, her expression now much brighter. Aunt Zhao, since the incident of Baoyu's beating, had consciously integrated herself into the group of women. Thanks to her proactive change, the most disliked concubine in the Jia family had vanished, and the kind-hearted women warmly welcomed Aunt Zhao's "reformed" nature with tolerance!
Although Aunt Xue and Sister Feng had a lot of sweet words to say to Baoyu, they found it difficult to speak of their bittersweet longing in front of others. The two beauties could only look deeply at Baoyu with their beautiful, knowing eyes before calmly and leisurely sitting down beside Lady Wang.
"Grandmother, I'm so sorry you had to go through this ordeal!" Baoyu, who had long been tested by beauty, regained his senses after a moment and sincerely tried to please the old lady, saying, "I'm fine now, why did you have to come to fetch me? I should be the one paying my respects to you!" "My Yu'er is so sensible!" The old lady's doting smile revealed joy, but then her expression changed, and she said sadly with a heavy heart, "You've suffered so much this time! But don't resent your father, he was also possessed and lost his true nature!" Before she finished speaking, a deep sorrow had already surfaced on Grandmother Jia's increasingly aged face, and she sighed with deep emotion, "Now that your father has come to this, the Jia family can only rely on you from now on!" At this point, tears welled up in the old lady's eyes, and endless sorrow made her grieve silently. Although it was not a case of a white-haired person burying a black-haired person, it was not far off.
"How is he—Father now?" Without a trace of sorrow in his heart, Baoyu inquired out of curiosity about Jia Zheng's current situation. After a moment's hesitation, he still managed to utter the word "Father."
The women clearly sensed the lingering resentment in Baoyu's hesitant words, but none felt surprised or blamed. After all, the scene of Jia Zheng forcefully striking Baoyu with a stick, intending to kill him, was still fresh in their memories.
The women present all fell into a somber and sorrowful mood. It was Daiyu, seeing the old lady overwhelmed with grief and unable to respond, who, with her unparalleled beauty and grace, "the reincarnation of Xi Shi," mustered her strength to answer Baoyu.
"Brother Bao, we've consulted all the famous doctors in the capital, even some well-known monks and Taoists, but they're all helpless." Daiyu paused slightly, subconsciously glancing at Xichun beside her, and said admiringly, "Sister Xichun is so clever; she thought of seeking out the highly skilled Daoist nun Miaoyu
in our household. Miaoyu was initially reluctant, but with the Old Madam's personal intervention, she agreed!" No way?! Baoyu felt no joy upon hearing this; instead, he felt a surge of reproach. How could a beautiful woman treat his enemy?! How outrageous!
The frail Lin Daiyu rarely spoke so much. A sickly blush crept onto her jade-like face, as delicate as an orchid in a secluded valley. Her lips paused briefly, and after calming her rapid breathing, she spoke again: "That Miaoyu is truly extraordinary. With a mere touch, she brought my uncle back to his senses. However, although my uncle's mind has recovered, his body will never fully recover!" Daiyu's melodious voice turned low and melancholic, and she sighed helplessly, "Miaoyu said that my uncle was possessed by an evil spirit. Although he survived, he can only lie in bed from now on, and he must rely on long-term rest to see if there is any hope of recovery!" Brilliant! Truly brilliant! Baoyu, with a calm expression, clapped his hands inwardly, overjoyed. He despised those rigid and pedantic people the most; among them, truly upright individuals were few and far between, most being hypocrites seeking fame and fortune! But Jia Zheng, this "father," just happened to fit the criteria he hated, so from beginning to end, he—the "fake" Baoyu—never liked Jia Zheng, let alone regarded him as a "father"!
"Yu'er, don't hold a grudge against your father anymore!" The old lady gently wiped away the tears on her cheeks and sighed heavily, "In order to let your father rest well, we have followed the instructions of Fairy Miaoyu and sent him back to his hometown in Jinling!" With his enemy gone, Baoyu was naturally overjoyed. After calmly responding to everyone, he couldn't confide his feelings to Sister Feng and Aunt Xue. He missed Xiren, so he used the excuse that he had been cooped up indoors for a long time and wanted to go out for a walk. He declined the girls' offer to accompany him and hurriedly went to Xiren and the other girls who were waiting for him.
Chapter Twenty-Three: Lustful Men and Women (Part 1) The ordinary threshold slid under Baoyu's feet, and the extraordinary romance ended the moment he stepped out of the room, leaving behind a bittersweet sense of loss. Had it not been for the watchful eyes of everyone, Baoyu would not have been able to suppress the turbulent emotions in his heart, and would surely have turned back to pounce
on the beautiful woman. Although Lady Wang, who had remained silent for a long time, was resolute, as Baoyu disappeared from sight, the joy that had filled her heart vanished. A strange panic made the middle-aged beauty sigh inwardly, her heart once again feeling empty and adrift. Baoyu's resolute and upright figure lingered in her mind, refusing to leave.
The curtain gently fell, completely blocking Baoyu's figure from everyone's view, and also hiding this illicit love deep in the woman's mind with her insistence, only to reappear in the dead of night, savoring and repeatedly reminiscing.
Everything would return to the way it was before!
Can everything truly return to what it was before? Now that the seeds of desire have been planted in her heart, can the oppression of social norms truly prevent them from taking root, sprouting, blossoming, and bearing fruit?!
Human nature is like nature, and true feelings are like rain and dew. Even if a beautiful, resentful woman in a wealthy family tries to suppress her emotions, she cannot escape the nourishment of "natural rain and dew." A moving moment will surely come; the unrequited love trapped in the net of passion will break free from its cocoon, transforming into butterflies, fluttering gracefully, and using boundless courage to infuse this indifferent world with vibrant life and endless spring!
"Baoyu!" An extremely excited call, tinged with sobs, startled the heartbroken Baoyu. Several beautiful figures hurried towards him.
"Ugh!" The innocent Musk Moon, after days of torment, could no longer suppress her surging tears and rushed into Baoyu's arms without hesitation.
"My darling Yueyue, don't cry, it's all my fault!" Baoyu whispered affectionately in the girl's ear, then chuckled teasingly, "Don't cry, look how these tears have made my Mushe ugly!" Before he finished speaking, Baoyu gently embraced the girl and gazed intently at the group of women who had approached. Xiren and Qiuwen walked intimately side by side, their beautiful eyes brimming with deep affection and tears. Unexpectedly, Yuanyang was also among the women. Although she wasn't tearful, she was also very excited. Her sister-in-law, Yuchuan, was eagerly scanning her from head to toe.
Baoyu spread his arms, wanting to pull Xiren into his embrace and cherish her, but the always proper Xiren swayed slightly and hid behind Qiuwen, not giving him the chance to "take liberties."
Baoyu, his embrace falling flat on his face, gave an embarrassed laugh, but then instinctively reached out to hug Qiuwen. He had expected Qiuwen to be second only to Qingwen in courage, and certainly not afraid of the public eye or gossip!
"Baoyu, stop fooling around! There are many sisters watching!" Qiuwen, as expected, didn't back down. Cleverly, she stepped forward, subtly taking Baoyu's arm and defusing his overly intimate embrace.
The girl paused slightly as several more beautiful young women entered the courtyard. Baoyu looked up and saw Ying'er and the others. With outsiders present, he had no choice but to temporarily suppress his passion and desire.
Compared to the other women, none of them had a deep relationship with Baoyu. Only Ying'er was truly familiar with him, and she was the first to greet him with concern in her eyes. Following closely behind Ying'er was Zijuan, who had served Daiyu since childhood. Having spent so much time together, the elegant Zijuan, like Daiyu, had developed a refined and noble character. Among all the women, she was the only one who showed no affection for Baoyu, only the clear, instinctive gaze of a young girl and a natural appreciation for an outstanding man.
Behind these two women were the personal maids of the three sisters, Siqi and Ruhua, who all unanimously cast their burning gazes upon Baoyu. After this unexpected upheaval in the Jia family, Baoyu's status had risen even higher, and he was practically the head of the Jia family! Coupled with his handsome appearance and approachable demeanor, he naturally captivated and adored all the maids in the Jia household!
A group of beautiful women surrounded Baoyu, taking the opportunity to shower the recovering young master with endless flirtatious glances. Xiren was gentle by nature, and Sheyue was innocent and adorable with no ulterior motives. Although the two women felt a pang of jealousy, they held back and did not speak. Qiuwen, however, was very dissatisfied, her heart filled with jealousy. Unlike Xiren and the other two women, Siqi and the others were not like sisters to her, and could not be calmly accepted by the narrow-minded girl!
Filled with jealousy, Qiuwen's tall, slender figure strode forward, cutting off the burning gazes of the women. Successfully "protecting" Baoyu behind her, Qiuwen smiled smugly and turned to Baoyu, saying, "Second Master, you've just recovered from your injuries, shouldn't you go back to Yihong Courtyard to rest more?" "Alright! I'm feeling a bit tired too!" Although Baoyu was amorous and affectionate, he couldn't bear the intense gazes of the women. His calm sea of emotions remained unmoved by the vain glances from Qiuwen. Feeling awkward, he immediately used Qiuwen's words as an excuse to escape the "siege."
With the women's reluctant gazes following him, Baoyu, looking slightly flustered, quickly fled. Xiren and Sheyue exchanged amused and admiring smiles with Qiuwen, and the three women then "protected" Baoyu away from the women's ardent stares like personal guards.
"Hush!" Baoyu let out a long sigh upon returning to the Grand View Garden, feeling the relief of escaping the "oppression" of the women, but even more so, the joy of returning safely!
The once ordinary plants, trees, tables, and chairs seemed especially dear to Baoyu, who had just returned from his ordeal, not to mention the three vibrant beauties he hadn't seen for days.
"Xiren, my darling, let your master check if you've lost weight or gained weight!" A lecherous hand, accompanied by a teasing laugh, suddenly pulled Xiren into his arms, passionately roaming over the beauty's increasingly fuller body.
With the door separating them, the gentle beauty couldn't help but let her emotions run wild, uncontrollable pleasure emanating from her slightly parted lips as alluring moans flowed through everyone's hearts.
"Mmm!" Mushe, equally overcome with passion, breathed heavily, instinctively hugging Baoyu's strong body from behind. The long-lost warmth and sense of security once again filled the innocent girl's eyes with tears!
"Ah!" Seeing that things were not going well, Qiuwen, out of a woman's instinct for modesty, wanted to escape from this enchanting space, but the burning passion from the bottom of her heart held her back. In that moment of hesitation, the quick-witted guy suddenly grabbed her and before the girl could finish her exclamation, her throat was sealed by hot lips.
