Half-Step Multiple Desires Legend (Complete) - 4

Chapter 46 The Vulture Mercenary Group.

Duo Duo couldn't help but shiver a few times. Looking up, he saw that the few stars in the sky were already half-covered by dark clouds, and it looked like a heavy rain was coming soon.

"Damn it! This awful weather!" Duo Duo cursed under his breath, his hands moving faster. Being soaked to the bone was still awful.

After a while, Duo Duo finally filled the back pockets. The heavy pockets made it almost impossible for him to breathe. After taking a few deep breaths, he finally adjusted to the weight and hurried towards Mantora City.

When you're unlucky, even drinking cold water can be a problem.

Duo Duo felt he had made it very fast, but he still couldn't escape the "baptism" of the heavy rain. By the time he returned to the Half-Step Tavern, he was completely soaked.

As Duo Duo entered the Banbuduo Restaurant, Xiu Zhen excitedly shouted, "Sister Linda, you lost!" She proudly held out her hand to Linda, waving it slightly.

Linda blushed, pulled a delicate ornament from her bosom, angrily placed it in Xiu Zhen's palm, and stormed off towards Duo Duo.

Duo Duo was completely bewildered. Even a fool could see Linda was after him again, but he couldn't figure out what he had done to offend this woman.

"Damn you, you're a born slave! If I let you out, wouldn't you have run away?!" Linda yelled angrily, "You made me lose my most beloved ornament!"

Duo Duo suddenly understood. He guessed that Linda and Xiu Zhen, those two bored women, were using him as a gambling tool again because he hadn't returned for so long!

It seemed Xiu Zhen was betting he wouldn't run away, while Linda was betting he wouldn't return and would gain her freedom.

Thinking of this, Duoduo secretly glanced at Linda, who was glaring at him angrily, and couldn't help but smile bitterly to himself. Damn it, he was guilty of being their slave!

"Miss Linda, I'm sorry, look, it's raining heavily outside..." Duoduo said, bowing his head. Then, he opened his pocket, revealing uniformly shaped and sized bluestones inside, showing them to Linda: "Miss Linda, these bluestones are the most suitable ones we've chosen so far. Shall we put them on for you later?"

"Oh dear, Duoduo is getting better and better at flattering people! I want to change mine too!" Xiuzhen exclaimed loudly.

"Who cares!" Linda was still brooding over the lost ornament, glaring fiercely at Duoduo, waving her fist and saying, "If you make another mistake, I'll give you a good beating!" With that, she turned and walked upstairs.

Knowing Linda was in a bad mood, Duoduo became even more careful. Without even changing his soaking wet clothes, he threw on an oilcloth and busied himself in the backyard until midnight. He finally finished setting up the "bathhouse" shed, arranged the saunas moved from the guest rooms, and cleaned up all the debris.

Just as Duoduo was dragging his tired body back to his room to rest, there was a knock at the door of the Banbuduo Restaurant.

Peeking through the crack, he saw several men in oilcloth raincoats waiting anxiously outside.

Duoduo turned back to the bar and checked the room occupancy record. Perhaps due to the heavy rain, there were two empty rooms upstairs, which was unusual for him.

After a moment's hesitation, Duoduo slowly opened the restaurant door.

Before the door was fully open, the men rushed in. Duoduo couldn't dodge in time and was slammed into by the largest man in front of him, staggering and leaning against the table to regain his balance.

"Damn it, you dawdling like that almost froze your grandpa to death!" The burly man showed no remorse and instead started cursing.

The men behind him stomped their feet to shake the water off their clothes, then ripped their oilcloth raincoats off and shook them vigorously.

Only then did Duo Duo get a clear look at them. They were five human men, varying in height and build, but they shared one thing in common: a sinister glint of menace in their eyes. One glance was enough to tell they were no good.

"Second brother, stop cursing." A lean man stopped the big man's cursing and asked Duo Duo, "Are there any rooms left?"

Duo Duo replied, "This inn only has two rooms left..."

"Damn it!" The big man grabbed Duo Duo and said viciously, "There are five of us, how are we supposed to stay in two rooms! Quickly clear out a few more rooms for us, or I'll burn this shabby inn down!"

The lean man patted the big man, gave him a wink, and whispered, "We're not in human territory yet, don't be too conspicuous, or those guys will find us!"

The big man's expression changed, he released Duo Duo, and hissed, "Take us to our rooms!"

Although Duo Duo hadn't encountered this kind of treatment often, it wasn't entirely unprecedented. In Mantora City, most of the guests were merchants and adventurers, and it was rare to encounter such polite and civilized guests.

Duo Duo didn't mind, thinking that he should quickly settle these guys in so he could go back to his room to rest.

Dodo led them up to the third floor and settled them into the two rooms. Just as he was about to ask what they needed, the big guy kicked him out. "

Fine," Dodo thought, "I'm happy to have some peace and quiet." Rubbing his kicked backside, he cursed the bastards viciously as he quickly headed towards his own room.

After Dodo left, the five guys quickly huddled together in one room.

The wiry man said to a short fellow, "Third brother, have we erased all our tracks along the way?"

The short fellow smiled and said, "Boss, don't you trust me? I, the third brother, am a master of stealth and concealment."

The wiry man nodded, turned and sat on the edge of the bed, muttering, "Damn it, we've really gotten ourselves into trouble this time!"

The short fellow said, "If it weren't for fourth brother's greed for those valuables, we would have already collected our wages and swaggered back."

A pale-faced man, as thin as a bamboo pole, said, "Don't talk about me. Although I was greedy, I wouldn't have acted if second brother hadn't egged me on. It's clearly second brother who took a fancy to that elf woman." "

Pah! What do you mean I egged you on? You'd act just because I told you to? When have you ever listened to me like that!"

"Stop talking!" the wiry man shouted sharply.

It seemed these guys were quite wary of this wiry man, and immediately shut their mouths, ceasing their attacks on each other.

A cold glint flashed in the wiry man's triangular eyes as he glanced at the others and said, "Our Vulture Mercenary Group has really messed up this time! We'll be disappearing for at least a few years after we get back." "

Boss

, what are you afraid of! Are you worried those elves will chase us into human territory? Do they even have the guts? We'll be safe once we pass Mandala City," the burly man said.

The wiry man gave him a cold look and said, "The elves certainly won't chase us into human territory, but what about our employer? Because of your mistake, our mission has failed. Let alone the damage to our mercenary group's reputation, our employer, with his strength, will definitely not let us off!"

Suddenly, the fat man, who hadn't spoken until now, twitched his prominent ears slightly. A

moment later, the fat man exclaimed in surprise, "They're coming!"

The other four men's expressions changed instantly, and gray halos emanated from their bodies, indicating that these guys were actually experts in martial arts.

"Fifth Brother, how many people are there?" The lean man darted to the window and peered out from the corner.

"No less than twenty, much stronger than the ones we took down! Looks like royal elven warriors!" The fat man's ears twitched a few times before he spoke.

"Damn it, what bad luck! We wanted to do some part-time banditry, and we ran into elven royalty!" the big man muttered.

The lean man waved his hand sharply and roared, "Didn't you think about it? If they weren't royalty, why would they be escorting so much wealth so brazenly? If they weren't royalty, why would there be those exceptionally beautiful elven women! Damn it, our mercenary group is ruined by you two idiots! If you say another word, I'll kill you both right now!"

The big man's face turned deathly pale. He quickly shut his mouth, leaned carefully against the wall, and circulated his internal energy to adjust his physical condition.

"Boss, they're coming this way," the fat man whispered, then his expression changed drastically: "Damn it, they seem to have vine snakes. Trained vine snakes are masters at finding scents. Damn it, even in this heavy rain, they can still relentlessly track our scent. That's terrifying!"

The short guy, who had previously assured everyone that all traces had been erased, exclaimed in surprise: "I completely forgot that elves also have vine snakes! It's all my fault for being careless!"

The lean man waved his hand and said: "It's not your fault. We all know how powerful trained vine snakes are at tracking. You can't escape their keen senses by simply erasing your tracks. Damn it, looks like we're in for a fierce battle!"

"Third brother, go and set up traps and mechanisms all around this restaurant and in the lobby on the first floor. If we fight head-on, we definitely won't stand a chance!" the lean man ordered.

The skinny guy nodded, turned to leave, but at the door he suddenly asked, "Boss, what about the others in this restaurant?"

The wiry man pondered for a moment, his eyes flashing with murderous intent, and said viciously, "You can set up those vicious traps around the place and inside the restaurant. Kill everyone else. Turn this restaurant into a graveyard for those elven warriors!"

Excitement gleamed in the skinny guy's eyes. He licked his lips in a perverse way, then turned and left the room.

A moment later, the wiry man said, "Fifth brother, you stay here and keep an eye on those elven warriors. Second brother and fourth brother, come with me to do the job. Remember, be steady, accurate, and ruthless. Make sure it's a one-hit kill. Don't let them make any noise that might alert the elven warriors!"

The fat man nodded, quickly walked to the window, his ears twitching incessantly. With his strange ability, any sound within a ten-meter radius reached his ears perfectly.

The wiry man waved his hand, and the big guy and the short fellow followed him out of the room.

As they stepped out of their room, the sound of running water suddenly came from the room diagonally opposite them.

Someone was still awake!

The lean man paused, his initial plan to start from the room directly opposite him instantly changing. He stopped, gave the other two a wink, and headed towards the room with the running water.

Their target was none other than Linda's room.

These bluestones used in saunas, after all, couldn't compare to the special minerals used in proper saunas in Duo Duo's previous life. Over time, they would crack, the interior of the stone would become brittle, and the steam wouldn't be as intense as it was at the beginning, and there would be a smell of stone dust. The bluestones Duo Duo had collected this time were much thicker and larger than before, and the steam was naturally much stronger.

Linda had used saunas for so long that she had developed some experience with them. So, when Duoduo offered to replace the bluestone bathtub for her, although she stubbornly refused, she couldn't wait to start her "sauna beauty plan" once Duoduo put it on.

Currently, immersed in the steamy atmosphere, enjoying the wonderful feeling of her pores completely relaxing, Linda had no idea that her nemesis was about to arrive! "

Mmm... "

Linda let out a comfortable groan. Her fair skin was slightly flushed by the steam, and her slender hands gently rubbed her shapely, long legs. The smooth, tender feeling transmitted through her palms pleased Linda greatly.

*Whoosh!*

A point of blue light shone into the sauna from outside.

Linda's expression changed, and a chill ran down her spine. Because the restaurant was crowded, and among the many lecherous men, Linda always used her aura to create a special barrier at her doorway when she bathed. If anyone approached and touched her door, the aura barrier would immediately collapse back at Linda.

Linda quickly grabbed a towel and wrapped it tightly around her shapely body, a sharp glint in her eyes.

That despicable guy! Not only did he try to take advantage of her, but he also ruined her "sauna and beauty plan"! Linda had already made up her mind; whoever this guy was, she would make him pay!

When Linda's aura barrier took effect, the lean man was genuinely surprised. He had never imagined that there would be such a master of aura in such a restaurant.

Speaking of battle aura, the lean man was quite an expert. The moment his hand touched the door, he sensed the presence of battle aura on it, and the vibrations even made his fingers slightly numb. If a mere barrier had such power, the person who created it must possess battle aura strength at least equal to his own.

Just as the lean man was stunned, the door was suddenly flung open.

(Chapter 48:

Linda, the sparring partner) Her hair was wet and clung to both sides of her pretty face. Her exquisite cheeks and the white skin exposed outside the towel, still flushed from the sauna, made her look like a captivating lotus emerging from the water in the dim lighting of the room.

Even though the lean man wasn't particularly lecherous, he was now completely dumbfounded. If he was like this, his two lustful brothers were even more infatuated, their eyes fixed on the door, and tears were practically flowing from their lips.

Their expressions infuriated Linda. Her eyebrows furrowed, and with a sharp cry, she lashed out with her right hand, a fragrant breeze wafting through the air.

*Slap!

Slap!

Slap!*

The three slaps seemed to strike simultaneously, demonstrating the incredible speed of Linda's movement.

The slap jolted the lean man awake. Feeling the burning pain on his face, he was instantly enraged. He gave the other two a fierce look, then pounced on Linda like a swift leopard, a foot-long gray light shooting from his right hand, like a sharp dagger aimed at her.

Instantly, a chilling killing intent filled the room, and the icy aura emanating from the gray fighting spirit sent a shiver down Linda's spine.

At that moment, Linda realized that these three men were not just lecherous wolves; judging from the ferocity of his attack, they clearly intended to kill her!

Linda, who hadn't fought in a long time, was initially extremely clumsy. Although she wasn't injured by the wiry man's initial onslaught, she could only dodge left and right, barely managing to defend herself with her agile movements.

After a few moves, Linda's rusty techniques gradually became more proficient, and given her superior strength, she would have been defeated long ago had it not been for her opponent's formidable combined attack.

Although the wiry man had long suspected that the room's owner was powerful, he hadn't expected her to be this powerful. Not only had she not suffered any harm during his sudden attack, but she even showed signs of retaliating.

Taking advantage of Linda's leap, the wiry man turned and shouted sharply, "Get to another room! Be quick! I'll handle this woman!"

Located on either side of Linda's room were Alice and Xiuzhen's rooms, weren't they? The fighting sounds from Linda's room had already woken Alice and Xiuzhen. Just as the two men reached the door, Alice and Xiuzhen stepped out and immediately engaged them in combat.

The lean man clearly heard a few muffled groans mixed in with the fighting outside—the sounds coming from his two brothers.

Good heavens!

What bad luck he'd had! Even drinking cold water was a problem! This restaurant was truly full of hidden masters!

Could it be a shady establishment?

No wonder, how could he know Alice, Linda, and Xiuzhen's true identities? He only thought it was an ordinary restaurant, and these three women were just pretty.

In fact, any one of Alice, Xiuzhen, or Linda could easily handle all of them. Due to their backgrounds, they had chosen to learn skills based on their interests from a young age, and their instructors were the most outstanding masters in their respective countries.

If they weren't extremely confident in their martial arts or magic, why would they have repeatedly sent back the guards who were secretly protecting them, only to realize that their princess was ten times more powerful than them and didn't need their protection at all?

The reason they couldn't quickly resolve the fight with these bandits was their lack of combat experience. When dealing with those annoying guards before, how could those guards dare to fight their princess with their bare hands?

The lean man grew increasingly apprehensive and hesitant as the fight progressed, his steps slowly retreating.

Compared to him, Linda felt incredibly exhilarated. She had never fought so freely. Gradually, the lean man had transformed from an enemy into her sparring partner. Linda unleashed one exquisite move after another, her shimmering blue battle aura growing stronger and stronger. Under the pressure of her powerful battle aura, several pieces of furniture in the room were reduced to piles of dust.

"Light Sword Dragon Slayer!"

Linda leaped high into the air, her hands clasped together. A nearly meter-long azure sword appeared between her fingers, visibly sharp and whistling as it slashed down at the lean man. Before

the sword even touched him, its sharp aura had already severed several strands of his hair, leaving his neatly tied hair disheveled and looking quite disheveled.

The immense pressure and the almost tangible light sword made the lean man feel as if he were in a raging ocean, where a single misstep would lead to his demise.

At this point, the lean man had completely abandoned his previous plans. Damn it, forget about killing him to silence him; just escaping this woman's clutches would be enough.

As the light sword slashed down, it created a strange current of energy that surged around the lean man like an invisible net, blocking all his escape routes.

Roar!

The lean man, suddenly filled with a desperate will, stopped dodging and instead looked up at the approaching giant sword of light. The gray light around his body surged unprecedentedly, and after a moment of strange contortions, a ball of gray light rapidly appeared in his palm.

"Vulture Soars!"

the lean man roared, the ball of light in his hand suddenly becoming dazzlingly bright, truly resembling a ferocious gray vulture soaring towards the giant sword of light.

Linda's eyes lit up. She had regretted using her ultimate move earlier, fearing she might have killed this guy outright. Opportunities to find an opponent of this caliber and fight recklessly under the guise of defense were rare. Linda was still caught up in the excitement and hadn't had enough fun yet!

But when she saw the lean man's defensive method, she was immediately excited. This guy was also a master who could condense his battle aura into a physical form. Heh, this was going to be interesting. Boom…
The gray vulture and the greatsword of light collided. In a massive gust of air, everything in the room was shattered. Simultaneously, the gray vulture was cleaved in two by the greatsword of light, vanishing as specks of gray light. After splitting the vulture, the greatsword of light slashed downwards for a short distance before finally disappearing due to exhaustion. In this head-on clash, the difference in skill between the two was immediately apparent; Linda's strength was far superior to the lean man's. The lean man was now utterly terrified. The formation of his battle aura was already an extraordinary feat, and now his body was beginning to weaken. It seemed that fighting this woman head-on was truly dangerous; to defeat her, he could only rely on his years of experience fighting on the edge of a knife.

Chapter 49 The Unlucky Robber

Thinking this, the lean man began to slowly retreat, using the same method Linda had employed to counter her attacks—constantly dodging with agile movements. In a short while, the lean man had retreated into the stairwell.

Meanwhile, Alice and Xiuzhen had also begun their battle, though their fighting prowess was far less than that of Linda and the wiry man.

Xiuzhen relentlessly cast a levitation spell on herself, her body incredibly agile with the help of magic, hovering in mid-air and swiftly dodging attacks, occasionally throwing fireballs and lightning bolts.

Her opponent was the short fellow, now sporting a strikingly "fashionable" appearance: his brown hair stood on end, his clothes riddled with burn holes, and his face blackened. He was currently on the ground, wielding a miniature crossbow and firing wildly at Xiuzhen in mid-air, but Xiuzhen's speed was simply too great, infuriating him.

Alice, seemingly out of nowhere, produced a gleaming rapier, her footwork precise and controlled. With each thrust, a tiny bolt of lightning would erupt from the tip of the sword, striking the large man and causing him to groan in pain.

It seemed Alice and Xiu were thinking the same thing. After a brief exchange, they had already gauged their opponents' strength and, knowing they couldn't harm them, began using them as practice.

While the fight raged on, in Duo Duo's room, Duo Duo peeked through the crack in the door, watching the three beautiful female bosses toy with their opponents, and couldn't help but gasp in astonishment.

"Damn it, I knew these guys were no good!"

"Alright! Electrocute his little brother... give him a live roasting whip! Ugh, damn it, what are you doing, big guy?!"

Duo Duo was greatly disappointed when he saw Alice's rapier aimed at the big guy's abdomen, only to be dodged with a leap.

If Alice and the others knew that Duo Duo was treating their life-or-death struggle like a thrilling circus act, they would probably faint from anger on the spot.

Suddenly, the skinny guy who had gone down to set up the traps ran back up. Seeing his brother's predicament, he immediately joined the fight, while secretly giving the wiry man a meaningful look.

Years of working together to kill, set fires, rob, and rape had forged a tacit understanding between these scoundrels. The wiry man understood the skinny guy's signal, and with a thought, he began to move downstairs.

Linda, engrossed in the fight, wasn't about to let her opponent escape and gave chase.

The other two, seeing their leader leave, also hurriedly fled downstairs, fighting as they went.

A strange atmosphere permeated the hall of the Half-Step Restaurant. Occasionally, when a light flashed, countless corners of the hall reflected a greenish phosphorescence...

After Linda and the others shifted the focus of the battle, the guests upstairs, who had already been awakened but were trembling under their blankets, mustered their courage and opened their doors to peek out.

Duoduo stepped out of the room and loudly proclaimed in the hallway, "Dear guests, please rest assured in your rooms. My boss will catch the robbers soon, so please don't be afraid." As he spoke, he tiptoed towards the stairs and secretly peeked down.

In the hall, Linda's situation was less favorable.

The wiry man, having just descended the stairs, put on an eye patch hanging around his neck—which, frankly, was just two transparent crystals suspended by thin threads.

"Damn, this bastard's an inventor! Those are clearly glasses," Duo Duo muttered under her breath.

After putting on the eye patch, the wiry man quickly darted down the stairs, his steps strange and leaping as he ran towards the window.

Linda let out a low shout, her body exploding, leaving a blur as she chased after him.

Ah!

Linda let out a painful groan; some greenish things had appeared on her calves, and these things seemed to be spreading further up her legs…

Seeing that Linda had been tricked, the wiry man chuckled maliciously, ignoring Linda and lunging at Alice and Xiuzhen instead.

Linda's injury enraged Alice and Xiuzhen; their previous playful mood vanished, and their attacks gradually became fierce, revealing a strong killing intent.

"Sister Alice, go check on Sister Linda! I'll take care of these guys!" Xiuzhen shouted angrily.

Alice was confident in Xiuzhen's abilities. Although she also wanted to finish them off herself, she glanced at Linda's pained expression and nodded, saying, "Be careful." She then ran to Linda's side to check on the injury on her calf.

"Wind spirits of heaven and earth, grant me the power of the wind..." Xiuzhen's body floated high in the air, her white gauze dress and long black hair moving without wind. As she chanted, an incomparably chilling killing intent filled the hall.

"Attack quickly!" the lean man shouted urgently, casually unleashing a powerful gray battle aura attack at Xiuzhen. Unfortunately, when his battle aura reached Xiuzhen, it vanished like a wisp of gray smoke, blown away by a seemingly nonexistent wind.

"Get back upstairs! Take the hostages! This woman's using high-level magic again!" The wiry man, being quite experienced, immediately abandoned any thought of defeating the three women. Damn it, he was just happy to escape this cursed tavern. Being captured by those elven warriors meant he could at least live a few more days.

Seeing their leader so terrified, the others were even more horrified.

Hearing the wiry man's order, the group turned and ran upstairs, wishing they had more legs.

At this moment, countless small whirlwinds, each the size of a fist, appeared in front of Xiuzhen. Xiuzhen suddenly spread her arms wide and shouted, "Whirlwind Net!"

With the shout, countless whirlwinds burst open, howling and carrying sharp energy, forming a dense net that enveloped the bandits.

"Ouch!" The fat man with big ears, running at the back, was the unluckiest. He was hit in the buttocks by a whirlwind, blood splattering everywhere, a bowl-sized chunk of flesh torn from his backside.

"Boss, help me up!" The injured fat man staggered, his speed noticeably slowed, and he urgently pleaded for help from the lean man in front of him.

The lean man looked back at the fat man, then at the countless whirlwinds rushing towards them, a murderous glint in his eyes. He kicked the fat man away, sending his massive body flying with a scream into the whirlwinds, instantly torn to shreds.

Chapter 50: Transformation and Rampage

The fat man's body blocked the whirlwinds for a moment, but in that instant, the group rushed up the stairs and slipped into the stairwell. Although magic was powerful, Xiuzhen hadn't reached the level to control magical creations. The whirlwinds struck the wall opposite the stairs, tearing a huge hole in it before disappearing.

Xiuzhen was secretly frustrated. This was the weakness of mages. Because they needed to chant incantations to cast spells, they gave their opponents opportunities. Therefore, mages could only unleash their true power in long-range combat or when assisting in combat. If Xiuzhen had been replaced by Linda, Linda's powerful battle aura would never have allowed these guys to escape.

Xiuzhen snorted coldly and quickly flew upstairs.

The scene in the hall was seen by Duoduo, who was hiding upstairs. When he heard the skinny man say he was going upstairs, he was startled and instinctively turned to run to his room. He

had just taken a step when he heard chaotic footsteps coming from the stairs.

Duoduo's face changed. He thought, "What I feared most has come to pass. Damn it, they wanted to take a hostage! Damn it, I'll risk it!"

Having made up his mind, Duoduo quickly formed the transformation consciousness in his mind. The strange heat quickly appeared in his body and surged. His body flashed red light, and he transformed into the form of a handsome elf.

Among the robbers, the short fellow was the first to rush into the stairwell. Terrified by the overwhelming power of Xiuzhen's magic, he saw a tall figure facing him not far away. In his panic, he didn't think twice, spat fiercely, and curled up like a rapidly rolling ball, crashing into Duoduo. The occasional flashes of a weapon within the "ball" locked onto Duoduo's vital points.

Duoduo's heart pounded with anxiety; he was simply putting on a brave front.

Life or death, he'd fight!

In Duoduo's mind, fighting was nothing more than punches and kicks. The sight of lightning and light flashing as he spied on Linda and the others fighting had already made him incredibly uneasy.

He had planned to ambush them as soon as they reached the top of the stairs.

But in the brief moment he was momentarily stunned by his transformation, the short fellow had already attacked him first, and in an extremely strange way.

"Damn it, what kind of fighting style is this!" Duo Duo was stunned. Seeing the "ball" coming in an instant, Duo Duo, not knowing how to defend himself, felt his legs go weak and instinctively turned to run. However,

some unscrupulous guy carelessly threw fruit peels, and Duo Duo slipped, stumbled, and fell to the ground.

Just then, the "ball" caught up behind him, and Duo Duo landed squarely on top of it.

When the sharp blade in the "ball" pierced Duo Duo's buttocks, it triggered a rebound of the Nine Yang True Scripture energy within Duo Duo's body. A burst of red light erupted, followed by a series of cracking sounds, and finally a scream.

That unlucky little guy would never have imagined that he wouldn't die from his opponent's knife, but from his opponent's buttocks.

The sharp weapon hidden in his robes was shattered by the powerful energy of the Nine Yang Manual erupting from Duo Duo's body. Although Duo Duo now possessed additional power, he couldn't use it due to his current aptitude; he could only instinctively react to protect himself when his life was in danger.

The shattered blades pierced his own body, and then Duo Duo's massive buttocks slammed down, crushing his thin bones to pieces…

“Damn, this works?” Duo Duo stared blankly at the flattened “ball” on the ground, his courage suddenly rising. Damn it, what's there to be afraid of when a newbie can be crushed by sitting on his butt?

The other bandits were dumbfounded, secretly shocked that this guy was made of iron. They knew that their brother's special weapon, while not a treasure, was carefully forged and far superior to ordinary weapons. But now, it seemed that his meticulously crafted weapon and his body were as fragile as paper.

“Ouch!”

The burly man in second place snapped out of his daze. The handsome, menacing figure approached him, and with a roar, he swung his two broadswords at Duo Duo. His attack was a direct assault on Duo Duo, unleashing his signature move: several swirling currents of air, like tornadoes, swept towards him with his fluid swordplay, countless gleaming blade shadows enveloping Duo Duo like a thousand lightning bolts.

Such a complex and intricate technique, combining feints and real attacks, would surely deter a martial artist from attacking rashly.

Unfortunately, he wasn't facing a martial artist, but Duo Duo, who knew absolutely nothing.

No matter how exquisite or complex his moves, to Duo Duo, it was just a blade coming at him…

“Go to hell!” Duo Duo retorted with a despicable groin kick.

"Agh..."

The burly man let out a shrill scream, his last thought before dying: "I thought, I thought this guy was a master, but I never expected a master would kick here..."

The burly man's massive body was sent flying by a powerful kick imbued with the Nine Yang energy. His corpse, carrying a powerful Nine Yang energy, flew backward with a whoosh, directly crashing into his companions behind him.

"Ah!"

The skinny man in third place saw a dark shadow fly towards him, and before he could react, he was hit squarely. The immense force lifted his thin body up, sending him tumbling down the stairs. If it weren't for the last wiry man's superior martial arts skills and quick reaction, he probably would have been knocked down the stairs as well.

Xiuzhen, who was flying behind, hadn't expected this turn of events and almost got hit as well. She nimbly spun in the air, clearing the way for the stairs, and looked in astonishment at the burly man's corpse lying on the hall floor, and the skinny man groaning and struggling to get up beneath it.

The wiry man was utterly terrified. He had thought that escaping to the third floor would offer a sliver of hope, but now that hope seemed utterly lost.

There was another expert!

A chill ran down his spine as he watched Duo Duo approach, his legs trembling. Duo Duo,

on the other hand, was incredibly confident. He had casually taken down two robbers, inflating his ego to unprecedented levels.

Now, he wouldn't hesitate to give the middle finger to anyone, not even the King of Heaven himself, and shout, "Fight!"

Duo Duo slowly approached the wiry man, his face deliberately grim. He couldn't help it; the heroes who rescued damsels in distress in the TV dramas he'd watched in his past life all had this kind of demeanor. What was that called? That was cool!

Chapter 51 The Terrifying Guy

It has to be said, because the big guy had died so quickly and so gruesomely, the lean man was already terrified of this handsome elf. Duo Duo's cold and gloomy appearance truly matched the image of the murderous maniac in his mind. Seeing him, the immense pressure made his legs weak, and he couldn't even take a step to run away.

Xiu Zhen also saw Duo Duo's presence. Seeing this incredibly handsome elf instantly kill two bandits, seemingly a friend rather than an enemy, Xiu Zhen couldn't figure out who this elf was or how he ended up on the second floor.

A guest?

No way, Xiu Zhen remembered the appearance of the guests she registered with; she wasn't so forgetful as to be forgetful.

Secretly protecting guards?

No way, the three of them had already forcibly ordered the guards to stop their secret protection, and this had been approved by the three kings. Besides, the Great Elves always considered themselves superior to humans and would never serve humans.

Just as Xiuzhen was guessing Duoduo's origins, she suddenly heard a whoosh of wind, followed by a scream.

Xiuzhen quickly activated the air currents supporting her body, and her body shot upwards. Turning her head, she saw a large net with metal hooks closing in. That net was the one used by the skinny guy downstairs, who had just been pierced through the heart by Alice's sword.

The scream startled not only Xiuzhen but also the wiry man. He quickly ducked into the hole in the wall that had been blasted by the whirlwind. The net swept over his head, completely covering Duoduo.

Don't blame Duoduo for being careless, and definitely don't blame him. After all, he could kill a robber with his butt! Leaving aside the immense sense of accomplishment that made him feel smug, the look in Xiuzhen's eyes when she looked at him was enough to make him feel incredibly comfortable. At this moment, all he could think about was how to walk in the coolest way possible and how to take down this wiry man in the most stylish way.

Men who are gazed upon by beautiful women often try to show off, but the result is always a pathetic mess.

The sharp hooks on the net, while unable to pierce Duo Duo's body, tore his clothes to shreds.

Duo Duo struggled fiercely, but the net seemed to be made of special leather; the more he struggled, the tighter it wrapped around him.

"These are my favorite clothes! Damn it!" Duo Duo cursed inwardly, tearing at them with all his might.

The lean man seized the opportunity and quickly slipped into the hole to escape.

Xiu Zhen felt incredibly disappointed. She had thought this handsome elf would be so capable, but it turned out he was just a careless fool, unable to even dodge such a sneak attack, and instead letting the robber go.

Xiu Zhen's momentary look of disappointment made Duo Duo feel incredibly ashamed, and he instantly became enraged.

With a roar, Duoduo's body erupted with a dazzling red light. A scorching heat swept through the entire hall, instantly turning the large net and Duoduo's tattered clothes to ashes. Naked, Duoduo stood at the center of the red light like a god of death.

Then, with lightning speed, he smashed through the door and entered the room the wiry man had crawled into.

These events seem lengthy to describe, but in reality, they happened in the blink of an eye. The wiry man had barely crawled through the hole and hadn't even straightened up to escape when Duoduo grabbed him by the collar and flung him through the hole, sending him crashing to the floor of the hall, nearly killing him instantly.

Afterward, Duoduo rushed out of the room, coldly glancing at Xiuzhen before leaping down the stairs and landing on the hall floor.

"Damn it, I wonder if my icy gaze just now made Xiuzhen think I'm cool? Damn it, I embarrassed myself just now, I have to behave better now." This guy hadn't forgotten to show off even now.

Dodo stood before the wiry man, roaring as his entire body erupted in red light. At the center of the light, he was truly awe-inspiring, like a god of war.

The goatee, who had been hiding by the back door, trembled upon seeing the red-glowing Dodo and said to Lucy beside him, "I...I remember now, it's this terrifying guy, it's him..."

Alice and Linda were stunned by this sight. Like Xiuzhen, they were equally puzzled. Who was this incredibly powerful and handsome elf? Why was he in the restaurant? Why was he helping them?

The wiry man struggled to his feet, knowing he was doomed, but his desperate nature made him decide to fight to the death, determined to take someone down with him.

The lean man rubbed his hands together, then coughed up several mouthfuls of blood. His body emitted a bright gray light; he had actually used self-harm to unlock his body's potential. His battle aura was now at least twice as powerful as usual, condensing into a gigantic, almost tangible vulture that roared to the sky, extended its claws, and pounced on Duo Duo with immense force.

Masters capable of wielding battle aura like him were indeed rare; he could only blame his bad luck, not society.

After Yana left, the energy of the Nine Yang True Scripture within Duo Duo had been saturated and unable to be released, which was perfect…

Boom…

It was all an instinctive reaction. A beam of red light burst forth from Duoduo's body, swiftly lashing out at the gray vulture like a giant dragon's tongue...

A silent collision, and the gray vulture vanished like snowflakes in the blazing sun.

The dragon's tongue, still unsatisfied, swept and danced, suddenly piercing through the lean man's protective aura. The poor bandit leader didn't even have time to utter a sound before he was dead.

Linda, Alice, and Xiuzhen were speechless with astonishment. Good heavens! Although they already knew this handsome elf was powerful, they never imagined he would be this incredibly powerful.

Suddenly, several muffled groans came from outside the door.

Then someone shouted, "Trap! Be careful! It seems those bandits are in this tavern."

Damn it, this is so cliché! Why are these elven warriors like the police from my past life, always arriving at the very end!

Without hesitation, Duoduo glanced at Linda and the others, then turned and quickly darted towards the back door.

The goatee, who had been hiding in the corner by the back door, saw this monstrous figure flashing towards him and let out a scream. His triangular eyes rolled back, and he fainted.

Lucy gave the goatee a disdainful look, shrinking further into the shadows. She had absolutely no desire to face this devil now…

Chapter 52 Emperor Level

Speaking of which, Duoduo's luck was truly terrible today; he seemed to be having a run of bad luck, like a fall.

He had thought he'd left at the perfect time, his departure quite dashing, and was secretly pleased with himself when he tripped over something. Coupled with his excessive speed, he lost his balance, tried his best to steady himself, but ultimately still fell headfirst.

He was unlucky, but there were others even more unlucky. Lucy had hidden in the corner to avoid being discovered by this devil, but of all times, that damned goatee had to faint. And even if he fainted, couldn't he at least choose a better place? He didn't care where he was going; he just lay down in the aisle and passed out, which happened to trip him up.

Lucy only saw a tall, dark figure looming over her, and before she could react, the figure slammed into her. The impact sent Lucy's head crashing against the wall, and she blacked out, following in the footsteps of the goatee... Dodo

sat up, wincing, and saw that the "thing" that had tripped him was indeed the goatee. He kicked it hard.

"Can't you even sleep in a decent place? Do you think you're a homeless person?" Dodo cursed inwardly. Then he felt something soft beneath his buttocks; it seemed he hadn't sat on the cold ground. He instinctively touched it, first feeling soft, smooth hair, then moving down to a face, collarbone...

Holy crap! So soft, so big.

A woman!

Could this damn goatee have already found a lover in Mandala City?

Duo Duo hurriedly stood up, lifting the woman's face from beneath him, only to be surprised to see it was Lucy.

Could this little girl have a father complex? But even if she did, she should have some taste! Could it be that the two of them… Duo Duo thought lewdly.

At that moment, the door of the Half-Step Duo Restaurant shattered with a loud crash, and more than a dozen elven warriors in tight-fitting clothes shot into the hall like lightning.

Several of the elven warriors, dressed in red tight-fitting clothes, had nearly two-meter-long, strangely patterned, blood-red snakes coiled around them; these were probably the vine snakes that the bandits had been so wary of.

The elven warriors entered the hall and immediately formed a battle formation. When they saw the corpses and piles of ashes on the ground, they were stunned.

"Who are you people!" Linda, supported by Alice, struggled to her feet, looked at the shattered door panels on the ground, and asked angrily.

"Elven warriors of the Heavenly Vine Elven Empire!"

A clear voice rang out, and the group of elven warriors automatically stepped aside, allowing a tall, slender elven woman in a striking red outfit to enter.

Linda's expression changed, and she was about to lash out at the haughty elven woman when Alice gently pulled her back.

"It seems Mantora City doesn't belong to any particular country, does it?" Alice said coldly.

"We're here to apprehend bandits. A group of bandits attacked our royal tribute convoy!" the elven woman said casually, her eyes scanning the surroundings. When her gaze fell upon the large corpse lying on the ground, a hint of surprise flashed in her eyes. She then gave a wink to an elven warrior beside her who carried a vine snake.

The elven warrior traced two circles on the vine snake's head with his finger. The snake hissed and darted away like lightning, landing on the large corpse. After coiling once, it leaped back onto the elven warrior, rhythmically slapping his palm with its tail.

"Captain Guard, this is one of the bandits," the elven warrior said respectfully.

"Hmm? What about the others?" the elven woman asked, puzzled.

As soon as she finished speaking, several elven warriors beside her, each carrying a vine snake, used the same method as the previous warrior, urging their snakes to search for the source of the bandits' presence.

Whoosh!

Whoosh!

With a few soft sounds, the vine snakes left their masters' bodies. These vine snakes were quite magical; their bodies appeared no different from ordinary snakes, but when leaping long distances, two semi-transparent fleshy wings would unfold from their smooth sides, allowing them to coil and twist in the air like birds, even pausing briefly.

A moment later, several vines coiled above the ashes, hissing at their masters. Two of the remaining vines flew upstairs, their masters following. A short while later, the body of the short man who had been stomped to death by Duoduo was dragged down by one of the elven warriors.

"Captain Guard, this bandit's spine is shattered, and there are weapon fragments inside his body. It seems he was killed by a powerful aura emanating from an Emperor-level expert!" an elven warrior said after examining the short man's body.

"Emperor-level?" The elven woman paused, glancing at the large man's corpse. "Investigate the cause of death."

"Reporting to the Captain Guard, the bandit's cause of death is… is…" the elven warrior hesitated, his expression awkward.

"Speak quickly!" the elven woman snapped impatiently.

"He was kicked in the groin by a powerful aura, his entire abdomen shattered," the elven warrior said in a low voice.

The elven woman was stunned. It wasn't impossible for a King-level martial arts master to exist in Mandala City; hidden masters often roamed this lawless area. But what she couldn't understand was whether a King-level martial arts master would really use such despicable tactics.

The way these elven warriors moved around the Half-Step More Tavern as if no one else was there infuriated Linda. She had never been treated like this before.

"Do you think our Half-Step More Tavern is your Heavenly Vine Elf Empire?!" Linda sneered.

The elven woman glanced at Linda, then, seemingly ignoring her, ordered her subordinates, "Search!"

Meanwhile, at the back door, Lucy had slowly woken up. She glared fiercely at Toto, but didn't retaliate. The reason was that when she heard the elven woman's voice, she shuddered. Peeking out, she saw the elven warriors and women, and her face turned deathly pale. Instinctively, she tightly hugged Toto's arm, shielding him in front of her, as if terrified of being seen by the elven woman.

When the elven woman ordered the elven warriors to search, Lucy's expression became even more terrified. Ignoring the animosity between her and Toto, she whispered, "Quick, get me hidden! Don't let them see me!"

Toto hesitated, glancing at Lucy's anxious expression. After a moment's hesitation, he nodded, crouched down, and quickly slipped to the backyard, to the window of his room.

"You wait here, I'll climb up and check things out," Toto whispered. Lucy nodded repeatedly, saying, "You must help me think of a way; they'll be in the backyard soon." Toto

quietly climbed to the third floor. The full power of the Nine Yang Energy he had just used had caused a huge change in his body. Now, Toto felt full of strength, and his movements were much more agile than usual. When Toto reached his window, he saw the door to his room just close, and the figure of an elven warrior flashed by. It seemed his room had just been searched. Dodo lightly jumped into her room, found a long rope, and lowered it down, whispering, "Girl, hold on tight to the rope." Lucy quickly grabbed the rope, nodding repeatedly to Dodo. Dodo pulled Lucy up easily with both arms. Just as they reached the window, Lucy suddenly let go. Dodo quickly grabbed her arms and pulled her in forcefully. Lucy entered the room, immediately ran to the door, pressed her ear against it to listen for any sounds outside, and then, still uneasy, gently opened the door a crack to peek out. She saw several elven warriors guarding the guest rooms with occupants, conducting some kind of inspection. Dodo couldn't help but chuckle at Lucy's nervous behavior, saying, "Don't look. They already thoroughly checked this room when we came up." Then, she looked at Lucy curiously and asked, "Are you afraid of them?" "Afraid of them?" Lucy retorted defiantly, her eyes flickering with guilt. "Are you really not afraid?" A mischievous glint appeared in Duo Duo's eye. "Should I go out and call them?" Lucy's expression changed. She glared at Duo Duo and said, "I'd like to see if you dare!" "What's there to be afraid of? I'll go call them right now." Duo Duo suppressed a laugh and got up to leave. Lucy hurriedly ran to Duo Duo's side, grabbed his arm, and looked up, saying, "Go ahead, go ahead! Humph, if you're not afraid Miss Linda and the others will find out your secret, then go ahead!" After a strange chuckle, Duo Duo secretly used his mind transformation technique to form a strong transformation consciousness in his mind. The strange heat within him moved with his consciousness, and a red light flashed on Duo Duo's skin. Duo Duo had transformed into the fat man's form. "Ouch!" Lucy groaned, quickly pulling her arm away from Duo Duo's body. The red light had been very hot, burning Lucy. Luckily, she let go in time; otherwise, she might have suffered a minor injury. "Hehe, can I go call her now?" Completely oblivious to Lucy's expression, Duoduo laughed smugly. "Go ahead, go ahead! You always bully me! Go ahead, you bad guy!" Lucy clutched her hands, looking at the bright red burn on them, her voice choked with sobs, tears streaming down her face. Duoduo, sensing something was wrong, quickly turned to look. Seeing Lucy's pitiful state, he couldn't help but smile wryly, thinking, "This girl is too much. I was just joking with her, is it really necessary to be like this?" He had no idea that even the small amount of Nine Yang energy that overflowed from his body during his transformation was almost unbearable for Lucy. Seeing Lucy's tears welling up, Duoduo felt a headache coming on. He forced himself to approach, squatted down in front of Lucy, and said, "Lucy, I was just joking with you, you didn't take it seriously, did you?" Lucy looked at Duoduo resentfully, letting her tears flow again, pouting and ignoring him. Dodo felt helpless and, in desperation, said, "If you cry again! If you cry again, I'm really going to rush out! Goodness, I hate it when women cry!" These words were far more effective than countless gentle words of advice. Lucy, who had previously been unresponsive to all attempts to comfort her, suddenly stopped crying, though the sorrow in her eyes deepened. Her pitiful appearance made Dodo feel a pang of sympathy. After a moment of silence, Dodo broke the awkward silence with a dry laugh: "Lucy, why are you afraid of them?" "Hmph!" Lucy snorted coldly and turned her head away. Dodo, shameless, moved closer and said, "There's a saying in my hometown: curiosity killed the cat. Anyway, we're hiding here, which is pretty boring, so why don't you tell me?" "What if I don't tell you? Are you going to go out and call them in again? Go ahead, go ahead!" Lucy said petulantly. Dodo chuckled awkwardly and said, "How could I? I won't scare you anymore, okay?" Then, feigning sudden realization, he exclaimed, "Oh, I know!" Lucy quickly turned her head, nervously asking, "What do you know?" "You must be a fugitive from that Heavenly Vine Elf Empire, that's why you're afraid they'll find you, right?" Dodo grinned mischievously. "Tell me, did you rape someone's boar..." Dodo's intention was simply to make Lucy laugh with his strange expressions and words. Even if Lucy didn't like what he said, getting angry at him would be much better than throwing a tantrum like this. "What is rape? What is a boar? What does 'raping a boar' mean?" Lucy asked curiously. Dodo felt a terrible headache coming on. Good heavens! He had completely forgotten that there were no pigs in this world. But, didn't they call it rape here? Or was Lucy just too naive and completely unfamiliar with such knowledge? "Tell me, why are you talking so strangely? I don't understand," Lucy said, her curiosity piqued. "Hehe, well... 'male pig' is... a general term for beautiful creatures in my hometown." Duo Duo made up a story, figuring the word "male pig" didn't exist in this world, so he could say whatever he wanted. "What about rape?" Lucy asked. "Rape..." Duo Duo hesitated. He could easily make up stories about male pigs, but not about rape. What if the word "rape" existed in this world, and its meaning was the same as in his previous life? After a moment's thought, Duo Duo steeled himself and decided to continue making things up, hoping to get by for now, otherwise this curious girl would keep nagging about it. "Rape is just a compliment," Duo Duo said, suppressing a laugh. "Oh, so 'raping a male pig' is a compliment for beautiful creatures? That's strange. Where are you from? Why do you have such a strange dialect? But is it illegal to compliment beautiful creatures?" Lucy's big eyes darted around, her face full of curiosity. Dodo chuckled twice and said, "I was just joking with you. Since praising beautiful creatures isn't illegal, you must have stolen something, and something very valuable at that, otherwise you wouldn't be so afraid of them!" "Nonsense! How could someone as 'boar' as me do such a thing as stealing!" Lucy exclaimed, her eyes wide. Oh my god! This girl's speed in accepting new things is a bit exaggerated, isn't it? She just heard Dodo explain the meaning of "boar," and she immediately used it on herself! Dodo trembled all over, his facial muscles contorted in pain. If he weren't afraid of being heard by the elven warriors outside, he would have rolled on the ground laughing uncontrollably. "What are you doing! Don't you think I'm beautiful enough?!" Lucy said with a stern face.

Chapter 54 I Am a Princess

"Beautiful...so beautiful..." Duo Duo stammered.

"Then what's wrong with me saying I'm a 'boar'?"

"Yes...yes...so right..."

After a while, Duo Duo finally caught his breath. He looked at Lucy strangely, feeling that this girl was currently acting like a complete idiot...it seems that one really can't be too naive.

"You have to apologize to me!" Lucy said seriously.

"Huh? What did I do? Why should I apologize to you?" Duo Duo was stunned, thinking that Lucy had noticed his nonsense.

"You just said I stole something, which insulted my dignity! That's a capital offense! If you apologize, I'll consider forgiving you!" Lucy's face was serious, and she didn't seem to be joking.

Duo Duo was stunned. After a moment, he said, "Who do you think you are? Even if I were joking, what's wrong with making such a guess? Is that a capital offense?" Duo Duo disliked Lucy's overreaction.

"You can do this with others! But not with me! It's a capital offense!" Lucy said angrily.

Dodo suddenly became impatient. They were laughing and joking just a moment ago, but in the blink of an eye, his face darkened. He'd seen unreasonable people before, but never one this unreasonable.

"So what if I said I wouldn't apologize? Can't you take a joke? Who do you think you are? You're just a waiter at the Half-Step Restaurant, like me!" Dodo couldn't help but sneer.

Lucy's face flushed red, and she blurted out, "I'm a princess!"

A princess?

Dodo was stunned. Looking at Lucy, the image of the magical figure Mulan had shown him when she questioned him flashed through his mind. He'd felt it looked familiar then, and now, thinking about it, the figure in that magical image looked more and more like Lucy.

"A princess? Why would a princess be afraid of them?" Dodo murmured.

Having already let it slip, Lucy was happy to see Duo Duo's shocked and stunned expression. She smiled smugly and said, "This princess is the most beloved princess of the Giant Tree Empire, and also the prospective saintess of the Elf Temple branch of the Giant Tree Elf Empire! Hmph, if I remember correctly, my saintess baptism ceremony should have been a few days ago."

"Then why did you come here? Why are you afraid of those elven warriors from the Heavenly Vine Empire?" Duo Duo's mind was a mess; he could only ask his question blankly. He simply couldn't accept the fact that this girl was actually a noble princess.

"Tch, I don't care about the position of saintess! Becoming a saintess means losing your freedom. You'd spend your whole life in the Elf Temple, having to report to the main temple and get their approval before you can do anything. Is that what a saintess is like? It's more like being a prisoner! Hmph, what's the use of being admired and respected by believers? Is being admired and respected by others more important than freedom?" Lucy pouted.

She continued, "As for why I don't want them to see me, it's because if I don't participate in the saint's baptism, my father will definitely make up excuses for others. If they see me here now, wouldn't it expose the truth? Then they can spread rumors and incite the believers of the Elven Temple to cause trouble for my father! Hmph, who do you think that guard captain is? She's the eldest princess of the Heavenly Vine Elven Empire. We used to be students of the same etiquette teacher, but I really dislike her."

When Lucy said this, she slightly altered the facts; things were far more complicated than she made them out to be. If she were discovered, especially in a tavern like this with a lowly half-elf man, the Heavenly Vine Elven Empire could easily fabricate a story that the princess of the Giant Tree Elven Empire would rather run away and mingle with a half-elf than enter the temple to become a servant of the God of Nature.

This would be a desecration of the Elven Temple, an insult to countless believers. Those enraged believers would direct their anger at the royal family of the Giant Tree Elf Empire. Keep in mind, all the great elves in the entire elven territory are followers of the God of Nature; the chaos they can create goes far beyond mere trouble.

The ambitious figures within the empire will incite these angry believers, creating a whirlwind of faith defense—a whirlwind powerful enough to overthrow a dynasty.

Lucy didn't tell the truth because these were things she herself dared not even consider. At such a young age, she always liked to simplify complex matters, deceiving herself.

"How about it, scared now? Apologize quickly." Lucy, seeing Duo Duo's dazed expression, patted Duo Duo's chubby cheek triumphantly.

Duo Duo snapped out of her daze from the slap, reflecting on her recent attitude towards Lucy, and felt a pang of guilt.

After thinking it over, he decided that rather than admitting Lucy's identity, he might as well deny it outright. If Lucy did eventually return to her princess status, he could simply say that she was too down on her luck back then and didn't resemble a princess at all. Well, that would be it. Ignorance is bliss, and Lucy couldn't possibly punish him for such a trivial matter, could

she? Thinking this, Duoduo grabbed Lucy's hand that was slapping him away, waved his other hand in front of her eyes, and said with feigned surprise, "Lucy, are you running a fever? Or are you talking in your sleep? A princess? I dream of being a prince."

His sarcastic tone nearly infuriated Lucy. Her face changed, and she quickly grabbed Duoduo's fleshy chest and pinched it hard.

"Ouch!" Duoduo's face contorted in pain, but he dared not scream loudly. He could only endure the pain and try to pull Lucy's hand away.

However, the girl's hand wouldn't let go. The harder Duoduo pulled, the more pain he felt. In desperation, he grabbed Lucy's wrist and squeezed it slightly.

"My hand!" Lucy cried out. Although Toto hadn't used his full strength, the force was still painful for Lucy. In her panic, Lucy pushed him away with her other hand, sending Toto tumbling to the ground. Lucy lost her balance and fell towards Toto as well.

"You fatso, bullying me! I'll fight you!" Lucy gritted her teeth and pressed down on Toto, twisting him wildly with her hands.

Toto could only try to fend off Lucy's hands. As they twisted and rubbed against each other, Toto suddenly realized that he had been naked the whole time, because he felt a certain part of his body gradually "rising" from the friction with Lucy's body.

Chapter 55 Strange Feeling

"You fatso, you actually dare to fight back! Damn it, what are you using to push me with!" Lucy said angrily, quickly grabbing down with one hand and taking the "fat man" that was pressing against her lower abdomen, making her very uncomfortable, into her hand.

"Oh..." Toto subconsciously let out a groan.

Seeing that the fat man from "Southern Border Kingdom" immediately became docile the moment she grabbed him, Lucy couldn't help but feel secretly pleased.

"Heh heh, I finally found his weakness..." "You're quite something!" Lucy pinched him.

"Ah!" Dodo screamed.

"Ha, quickly apologize to this princess and promise to respect her from now on!" Lucy pinched him again, then, as if addicted, pinched and released... pinched and released.

Held tightly by Lucy's small hand, making this almost manipulative motion, Dodo's whole body tensed, almost to the point of ejaculation. A surge of desire gradually rose in his lower abdomen, growing stronger and stronger...

Good heavens! What

exactly does this little girl want to do? Doesn't she really know what part she's grabbing?

My God!

This world is too crazy!

Dodo cried out inwardly, enduring the strange sensation from her lower body, her breathing gradually becoming rapid.

"What's wrong with you?" Lucy noticed red blood vessels in Dodo's eyes and her chest heaving violently. She instinctively sensed danger, and although she didn't let go, she stopped moving.

She couldn't take it anymore! This girl brought it on herself!

Dodo, blinded by lust, forcefully rolled over, pinning Lucy beneath him.

Caught off guard, Lucy was pinned down by Dodo's weight, which made her feel suffocated. After a few heavy breaths, she said in a panic, "You fatso, let me go! You're crushing me!"

She then struggled violently.

This struggle only made things worse. During the struggle, Lucy's long skirt gradually bunched up to her waist, and Dodo's hot, erect penis entered between her legs. Lucy felt the heat from his skin and instinctively squeezed her legs together.

"Oh..."

Lucy's rounded and incredibly elastic legs brought a strange pleasure to Duoduo. He moved his body up and down slightly, rubbing against Lucy's legs.

"What are you doing! You wretched thing, take that 'Southern Kingdom' away, it's hurting me!" Lucy cried out, but to avoid being heard by those outside, her cries were limited to the decibels that only she and Duoduo could hear.

Duoduo ignored Lucy's reaction, driven by lust, he did only what he wanted to do.

Duoduo panted and buried his head in Lucy's neck. The faint fragrance emanating from Lucy's hair intoxicated him. His lips moved across Lucy's neck like a dragonfly skimming the water, finally gently taking Lucy's earlobe into his mouth and sucking it softly.

Lucy's body trembled violently, an unprecedented tingling sensation instantly coursing through her. She froze for a brief moment, then forcefully pushed against Duo Duo's body, shaking her head from side to side…

"You fatso! Let me go!" Lucy shouted angrily.

Duo Duo quickly grabbed Lucy's hands, pinning them above her head with one hand, while his other hand brazenly slipped under the hem of Lucy's shirt, instantly reaching her breasts.

Lucy was naive, but not stupid; she realized she was in extreme danger.

She twisted her body violently, tears streaming

down her face in terror. "Duo Duo, please let me go, I won't make you apologize anymore," Lucy's tone softened, pleading.

"Ugh..." Lucy whimpered, unable to speak, as Dodo's lips had already sealed her cherry-like mouth, his tongue greedily "conquering" her lips and teeth, capturing her fragrant tongue everywhere...

Lucy had never experienced such a treatment before, her eyes filled with fear and unease.

Dodo's wildness made it hard for her to breathe, and in her panic, she bit him hard.

"Ouch!" Dodo groaned, Lucy's bite had broken the corner of his mouth, and a trickle of blood slowly flowed down.

The pain did not extinguish Dodo's lust; instead, it stirred a savage rage within him. He grabbed Lucy's clothes with both hands and ripped them apart.

With a snap, Lucy's clothes were torn in two, her semi-transparent undergarment exposed to Dodo's eyes, especially the two faintly visible rosy nipples, like two delicious cherries, making Dodo's mouth water.

Through the thin, semi-transparent undergarment, Duoduo lightly bit a small, rosy nipple. Lucy trembled violently, her muscles tensing as she stared at Duoduo in a panic, twisting her body wildly in an attempt to expel the nipple from his wolfish kiss.

Duoduo saw all this and understood that Lucy's fear of the elven warriors outside was far more complex than she claimed, which emboldened him further.

Duoduo greedily sucked on the nipple, his other hand no longer restraining Lucy's, but instead slipping inside the undergarment to gently pinch the other nipple with two fingers. He completely ignored Lucy's struggles and frantic pounding on his back. At this moment, Lucy's strength was extremely weak, even less than usual; her pounding and struggling were like a tickle to the fleshy Duoduo, easily disregarded.

Gradually, Duoduo felt the two nipples harden. It seemed that although this girl was not yet fully developed, her body already possessed all the sensitive reactions of a woman.

*Whoosh…

* Lucy's long dress was torn at the hem by Duoduo, exposing her fair, rounded legs all the way to the thighs. The large expanse of skin was in direct, unfiltered contact, intensifying Duoduo's lust. Because Lucy had been forcefully squeezing her legs together, Duoduo's lower body was tightly clamped between them.

Previously, when Lucy's struggles weren't too intense, Duoduo had experienced a strange, stimulating pleasure. Now, however, Lucy was gripped by panic, her body twisting violently, her legs bending from side to side. In this situation, Duoduo's pleasure was far less pleasurable. His lower body, engorged with blood, felt a sharp, snapping pain as Lucy twisted.

Duoduo's hand, which was gripping Lucy's breast, combined with the light biting of her teeth, squeezed hard.

"Ah…"

Lucy had never experienced such stimulation before. In that instant when Duoduo used both his hand and mouth, a soft moan escaped her throat, and her body involuntarily convulsed in a wave of weakness.

Taking advantage of Lucy's momentary weakness, Duoduo twisted and pressed down, successfully taking over between Lucy's legs.

Lucy felt the most private part of her body between her legs being tightly pressed by that hot "Southern Kingdom," the burning heat of which gave her an unprecedented and strange sensation.

Chapter 56 In Heaven

"Duoduo, please let me go! If you let me go, I'll give you anything you want!" Lucy said sadly, but she dared not struggle too much, because every time she struggled, her most private part would rub against it, and every friction would make her tremble slightly as if she were being electrocuted.

"I only want you now." Duoduo breathed heavily and whispered in Lucy's ear, then sucked hard on Lucy's rosy lips, which aroused another tremor...

"Oh..." Lucy couldn't help but let out a groan, then she tightly closed her mouth, feeling extremely ashamed of her abnormal behavior.

"Dodo, you've forgotten, I'm a princess. I can give you anything you want. Please, let me go, please!" Lucy pleaded incessantly.

She didn't understand men at all. As the saying goes, lust knows no bounds. A man whose desire has been aroused will not care about anything in the heat of his passion. All they want to do is release their pent-up desire. Don't think Lucy was a princess; even if she were a goddess, Dodo would still take her!

"Oh...no, no..."

Before she knew it, Dodo had already reached down and gently pressed against her vulva, tracing circles around it with his fingers.

This stimulation was even more intense. An unprecedented sensation surged through Lucy's body like a tidal wave. She trembled, looking at Dodo with pleading eyes, trying hard to suppress the urge to moan.

"No, no...stop, please, I...I'll kill you," Lucy said intermittently.

"It's all because you're too tempting," Dodo said breathlessly, continuing his "busy work" without stopping.

For the first time, Lucy regretted leaving the palace. She blamed herself for a momentary lapse in judgment, for yearning for freedom and not wanting to be a saintess forever confined to the temple! Lucy thought sadly.

"Ah..."

The sudden sensation of being violated by a foreign object in her private parts brought Lucy back to her senses, causing her to groan. In the brief moment that followed, Duoduo had torn off Lucy's panties, his fingers intimately touching the outside of her private parts, moving gently… Gradually, a warm, moist sensation entered Duoduo's fingertips.

No matter how chaste a woman may be, her chastity is only in her mind; her body can betray her thoughts at any time when aroused and stimulated—except, of course, for those with frigidity. "

Sigh, how did I become so filthy? It's all the world's fault. But honestly, this feeling is so good, so good!"

Lucy's heart was instantly filled with intense humiliation. She wished she could immediately become deaf so she wouldn't hear Duoduo's lewd words, wished she could immediately become blind so she wouldn't see Duoduo's smug face, wished she could immediately lose her life so she would never feel that humiliation again.

These were all wishes, but these wishes were just thoughts, and would never come true.

Dodo's fingers moved even more nimbly, penetrating deeper into Lucy's defenses.

Even though Lucy gritted her teeth, it was to no avail; the strange sensations within her body grew stronger, and a groan escaped her throat uncontrollably.

Suddenly, Dodo's fingers stopped moving and left Lucy's body.

A feeling of emptiness washed over Lucy. She opened her eyes, looking at Dodo in surprise.

"You want it, don't you?" Dodo's voice carried a seductive magic. Lucy almost nodded in agreement, but then a cool breeze swept over her, and Lucy snapped back to reality, her face flushed crimson.

"Let me go! I'm so young, not old enough to get married yet. It was my own choice, okay? I won't hold it against you," Lucy pleaded. Dodo was

secretly astonished. Damn it, this little panda almost suffocated himself trying to flirt and tease for the first time, how could this woman still hold out? Damn, it seems his technique is too amateurish.

"Is she small? She seems to be developing quite well." Duo Duo lost all interest in this teasing game. The intense swelling in his lower body felt like it was about to explode. He knelt up and forcefully spread Lucy's legs, pressing his lower body firmly against the entrance to her valley. The heat in his lower body made Lucy groan again.

"Your Highness, I will be very gentle. You just need to relax and enjoy it." Duo Duo seemed to remember hearing this from a pornographic film in his past life when the male protagonist raped the female protagonist. He hadn't thought much of it then, but now he thought it was incredibly cool, and who could compare to him? Little Lucy's innocent struggles only aroused him!

Lucy realized the danger was imminent and tried to sit up, but unfortunately, Duo Duo quickly grabbed her arms. A sharp pain shot through her as her virginity was breached by a large foreign object.

"Ah!"

Lucy screamed in agony. Duo Duo quickly stopped, covering Lucy's mouth with his hand. After listening for any movement outside the door, he relaxed and began to move slightly.

Lucy's face was deathly pale. She had bitten her lower lip until it bled, and blood trickled from the corner of her mouth. She never imagined this would happen. These responsibilities were supposed to be five or six years away for her, and elves considered them a sacred duty. How could this have come to this?

Although she didn't fully understand, in that instant, she felt a deafening roar in her mind, leaving her completely blank. She had lost something very important.

After a moment of pause, Dodo adjusted his breathing. Elves were naturally small; if they were humans, they would be fully developed, but as elves, she was indeed quite young. But Dodo didn't know all that.

After a brief, tearing pain, Lucy felt a surge of heat flow into her body along with that thing, triggering a strange sensation. This sensation was exceptionally comfortable; she felt a little warm.

"Mmm..."

Dodo's deeper penetration elicited Lucy's first groan. What was happening? Why did she crave a faster pace?

"Bad boy, you're so hot, I'm so swollen!" Lucy was aroused by the heat of the Nine Yang Divine Skill. Most elves wouldn't react like this, especially Lucy, who was so young. She probably felt nothing but pain.

Toto never expected her to say such a thing. This innocent, childlike voice was a huge stimulus to Toto. Looking at Lucy's beautiful, tender face, Toto instantly became much larger and tighter, making him feel unable to move. Lucy's face immediately showed a painful yet pleasurable expression, and she even exhaled. Her long, slender legs instinctively wrapped around Toto's waist.

God, Toto closed his eyes. Waves of pleasure made it impossible for him to continue; he was in heaven.

But as the passion subsided, Toto regained some clarity. Only at this moment could he feel that he was still alive. Although the world had changed, he still had to live.

If that's the case, why not make it even more exciting than before!

Chapter Fifty-Seven: Taunt

While Duo Duo and Lucy were making love in their room, a tense atmosphere filled the hall of the Half-Step Duo Restaurant.

Linda glared angrily at the elven woman, and even the usually kind Xiu Zhen was enraged by the woman's arrogant attitude, standing beside Linda with a united front of hatred.

Alice's expression remained as cold and indifferent as ever; no one could discern her thoughts, yet her fingers never left the hilt of her rapier. No one doubted that if she were to strike, it would be a lightning-fast, thunderous blow!

"Reporting to the Captain of the Guards, the upstairs has been checked; everyone shows no signs of battle aura or magic," several elven warriors reported, bowing as they descended from the third floor.

These elven warriors possessed unique abilities. While perhaps not particularly formidable in direct combat, their ability to sense the strength of an opponent's aura and magic was invaluable. They checked all the guests but found no one with aura or magic within them. To avoid any oversights, they checked twice before reaching this conclusion.

"Oh? Are you sure?" the elven woman asked.

"Yes, we checked twice!" the elven warrior hurriedly replied.

The elven woman hesitated for a moment, then turned to look at Linda, Alice, and Xiuzhen. Her earlier disdain had vanished, replaced by surprise.

As the leader of the elven warriors, she possessed all their skills, and her mastery far surpassed that of ordinary elven warriors.

In fact, when she first entered the Half-Step More Inn, although she seemed to disregard Linda and the others, she had actually used her special method to assess them.

In her view, Linda was a master of martial arts, but not to the extent that astonished her; at most, she was only a Commander-level master, far from the Emperor-level.

Within the realm of martial arts practitioners, there were clear classifications based on the strength of their martial arts, from weakest to strongest: Low-level, Strong-level, General-level, Commander-level, Emperor-level, and finally, the legendary realm—God-level!

These levels seemed only a step apart, but truly advancing was incredibly difficult; some martial artists spent their entire lives without ever raising their level.

Xiuzhen possessed considerable magical power, but even the strongest magician could only display it in ranged or support combat.

As for the seemingly cold Alice, she possessed only a certain amount of martial arts and some magical power, indicating she was a woman skilled in both magic and martial arts. She never put down her rapier, clearly possessing profound swordsmanship.

After carefully observing Alice, Linda, and Xiuzhen twice using special observation methods,

the elven woman concluded that there seemed to be a hidden Emperor-level expert in this Half-Step More Tavern.

"Elven Miss, oh, I should call you Captain, aren't you going a bit too far? We've tolerated you for a long time!" Alice, who hadn't spoken until now, spoke in a tone as cold as the wind blowing from the frigid north.

Linda's expression changed upon hearing Alice's words, and a blue aura of battle aura emanated from her body, though phosphorescence still lingered on her legs, and her face was quite pale.

Her two companions were already preparing, and Xiuzhen was no exception. Xiuzhen's lips moved slightly, her feet slightly lifted off the ground, and tiny purple lightning crackled in her slender, white hands hanging at her sides.

Seeing this, the elven warriors quickly gathered around the elven woman, forming a circle to protect her.

"Disperse, all of you. Don't act like you're always ready to fight and kill; it's impolite." The elven woman seemed to be instructing her subordinates, but when she mentioned impoliteness, her eyes glanced at Linda and the others.

Xiuzhen, not to be outdone, said to Linda beside her, "Sister Linda, people say elves are so noble, but does that mean they can just barge into someone's home and boss people around? It seems elves are still inferior to us humans!"

Linda understood Xiuzhen's meaning and, with a sudden thought, echoed, "You can't say that. Both humans and elves have good and bad members. You can't condemn an entire race because of a few individuals. There's a saying, 'One rotten fish spoils the whole pot of soup,' right, Sister Alice?"

The two women's banter amused Alice inwardly. She hadn't realized that Linda, who was usually so hot-tempered and quick to resort to violence, was so different. "She can be so sharp-tongued!" Alice said calmly, seeing the elven woman's embarrassed, flushed face. "That's enough. We won't stoop to her level."

Xiuzhen giggled, "Yeah, yeah, be careful they don't leave a stench on us. It's disgusting!"

Alice coldly observed the elven woman, but was surprised to see the embarrassment and anger on the woman's face vanish instantly, replaced by a nonchalant smile. Alice couldn't help but admire her. The elves had such a remarkable character; she looked to be about the same age as them, yet her composure far surpassed Linda and Xiuzhen's, even her own.

“Three gentlemen, it seems there’s been some misunderstanding between us. We’ve come for your safety. You must have witnessed the viciousness of those bandits, and we chased them here to prevent them from escaping justice. It seems this young lady is injured. During our pursuit, some of our own were also poisoned by this kind of deadly creature. Hmm, this is an antidote we concocted based on the properties of the poison; it’s very effective.” The elven woman, for reasons unknown, had become much more conciliatory than before and even tossed over a small packet of medicine.

Linda, however, remained unmoved, saying, “Oh, is that so? Then we can also freely stroll around the royal palace of the Heavenly Vine Elf Empire another day and search around, it’s for your own good.”

The elven warriors’ faces paled. Linda’s words had insulted the dignity of the Heavenly Vine Elf Empire’s royal family, especially when spoken by a human, which only fueled their anger.

Even Alice felt Linda's words were a bit harsh. Although they weren't afraid of the Heavenly Vine Elf Empire, they had a mission to complete. If they made enemies with these elven warriors, while they wouldn't dare cause chaos in Mantora City, covert harassment would be unavoidable, making it much more difficult to complete their mission.

Chapter Fifty-Eight: Contemplation

Who knew, the elven woman didn't seem to care, but smiled and said, "Of course, if you come to our Heavenly Vine Elf Empire, I will treat you as honored guests and naturally show you around the palace."

"Do you think you're the king? Just a lowly head guard," Linda said disdainfully.

"Insolence!" an elven warrior shouted angrily, "How dare you be so rude to our Princess!"

"Princess?" Alice was startled.

The elven woman smiled and said, "The position of head guard is just for fun. My name is Catherine, the eldest princess of the Heavenly Vine Elf Empire."

"So what if she's the eldest princess? This is Mantora City, not the Heavenly Vine Elf Empire!" Xiuzhen said. Indeed, using the title of princess might intimidate others, but it wouldn't be enough to intimidate the three of them. Princess? Who isn't a princess? It seems that the territory of any empire in the human realm is much larger than the elven empire.

"Could you please let that emperor-level expert come out so I can meet him? I'd very much like to make his acquaintance," Catherine said.

Alice immediately understood why the elven woman had changed her attitude. Her attitude wasn't because of them, but because of the hidden emperor-level expert. You see, whether in the human or elven realms, emperor-level experts are extremely rare. Being able to make acquaintance with such a powerful being and cultivate a good relationship would definitely be beneficial.

Having figured this out, Alice couldn't help but feel disgusted with the elven woman. This woman was far too opportunistic. Of course, there's nothing wrong with being opportunistic, but displaying it so blatantly showed a complete disregard for others' feelings.

"Sorry, we don't have any emperor-level experts here that you're looking for!" Alice said coldly. "The bandits have all been killed, and you've achieved your goal. You can leave now!" With that, Alice waved her hand towards the door.

Linda said, "Want to leave? Not so easy. Pay for the broken door first!"

Catherine's gaze swept over Linda, Alice, and Xiuzhen before she turned and walked towards the door. As she left

, she instructed one of the elven warriors beside her to take out a money pouch and toss it over. Her quick departure surprised Alice and the others. They exchanged glances and shook their heads simultaneously…

In the grove outside Mantora City,

elven warriors gathered.

Catherine asked an elven warrior beside her, "Are you sure those bandits weren't burned to ashes by magical flames?"

The elven warrior nodded heavily and said, "There were no remaining magical elements in the ashes."

Catherine fell into deep thought. Tonight's events were too bizarre for her. First, there were three incredibly beautiful human female innkeepers, then a hidden master whose strength was impossible to fathom. She had initially thought that the Emperor-level expert had injured the bandits, and then the woman skilled in magic had turned them to ashes. Now it seemed that things were much more complicated than she had imagined.

"Let's go back first," Catherine said decisively after a moment of thought.

The elven warrior hesitated and said, "This subordinate finds that tavern very suspicious."

"Do you need to tell me? So what if it's suspicious? You don't know what kind of place Mantora City is, do you?" Catherine said coldly.

After being reprimanded without any apparent reason, the elven warrior tentatively asked, "So, we're just going to leave it at that?"

Catherine replied, "Go back and gather some specially trained guards to monitor this tavern in Mantora City year-round."

With that, she turned and left...

Inside the Half-Step Tavern.

After Catherine and the elven warriors left, Linda suddenly said with a puzzled look, "That woman is really strange."

Xiuzhen nodded in agreement, saying, "She changes her tune every now and then, acting like a lunatic."

"Don't underestimate this elven woman. She was so arrogant when she first arrived, but she's willing to humble herself to achieve her goals. She even ignored Linda's sarcasm as if she hadn't heard it. She's really cunning," Alice said.

Xiuzhen giggled and hugged Alice's arm, saying, "Who cares how cunning she is? What does it have to do with us? Sister Alice, your dual cultivation of magic and martial arts is amazing! Come to think of it, this is the first time I've seen you use your real skills."

Alice smiled and said, "Isn't your magic even more powerful?" Then, she looked at Linda, fearing the competitive Linda might disapprove of her constant praise of Xiuzhen, and added, "Linda's martial arts are even more impressive! I never imagined that battle aura could be so powerful."

Normally, Linda would have happily joined in the banter upon hearing Alice's praise, but now Linda seemed completely oblivious to Xiuzhen and Alice's conversation, lost in thought. Her beautiful brows were slightly furrowed, indicating that the question she was pondering was proving difficult to answer.

Alice asked with concern, "Linda, what's wrong? Has your wound flared up again?"

"Sister Linda, should I use healing magic to treat you?" Xiuzhen said.

Linda looked at them with suspicion, then suddenly asked, "Just who is that elven man, the one who helped us?"

Linda's words made Alice and Xiuzhen ponder. In fact, their doubts about the elven man were no less than Linda's, but their attention had been focused on Catherine, and they hadn't had time to think about him.

After a moment, Alice and Xiuzhen shook their heads simultaneously.

Xiuzhen clasped her fists and said, "No matter what, he's definitely the tallest, strongest, most handsome, and of course, most powerful elf I've ever seen! Especially the way he looked at me, so cool!"

"Alright, alright, stop being so infatuated," Linda said. Then, Linda looked at the medicine packet on the ground, hesitated for a moment, picked it up, and evenly sprinkled the powder inside onto her calves. Hmph, although she disliked that arrogant elven woman, there was no need to make things difficult for herself.

Alice sat down on a chair, resting her chin on her hands, and murmured, "Strange, how can elves be so tall and strong? And their physiques don't seem capable of cultivating battle qi to that level!"

Suddenly, a scream came from the back door.

Alice and Xiuzhen rushed over almost simultaneously.

They saw a man with a goatee covered in mud, huddled in a corner, hugging his knees, his eyes filled with fear as he looked around.

"What's all that screaming about!" Linda yelled angrily.

"It's him again, it's him again!" the goatee mumbled incoherently.

"Who? Who is it?" Xiuzhen asked curiously.

The goatee finally came to his senses, and after looking at the three beautiful female bosses, his expression gradually returned to normal.

"No, nothing!" the goatee hurriedly said.

"Do you want to die?" Linda snapped, "Just answer what I ask you!"

The goatee weighed his options; angering these three female bosses might mean he'd die sooner than revealing the mysterious devil.

"It's him, the elf who just killed the robbers..." the goatee stammered.

Chapter 59 Holy crap! An elf prince?

"What happened to him?" Linda and Xiuzhen asked in unison, their curiosity about the elf man who saved them reaching its peak.

"Back then, he almost killed me, those, those corpses driven by necromancy were turned to ashes by him..." The goatee seemed to recall that terrifying scene again, the image of Duoduo turning a corpse to ashes with a wave of his hand flashing in his mind, causing him to tremble all over, his words almost incoherent.

"Ah?"

The three female bosses, including Alice, exclaimed at the same time.

In fact, although a long time had passed since the incident with the goatee, they had never let go of the question in their hearts: who saved them? Who created what kind of terrifying scene to frighten the goatee like that?

The three looked at each other and fell silent.

After a long pause, Xiuzhen smiled and said, "Perhaps he's one of the three of us admirers?"

This was a truly childish remark. Frankly, it was just Xiuzhen trying to break the current awkward atmosphere and tease Alice and Linda. Even if there were hidden Emperor-level experts in Mantora City, they wouldn't know about it. And even if they did, would there be such a young elven Emperor-level expert?

"Forget it! I don't want to think about it anymore. If he shows up again, I must stop him! I have a feeling I'll see him again!" Linda shook her head and said, "Hurry up and tidy up! Look at the mess here, it's like a junkyard! Duoduo, where did that damned Duoduo go?!"

At this moment, Duoduo was comfortably lying on the bed in the room.

Lucy lay beside him, staring blankly at the ceiling. The recent ordeal had left her utterly hopeless about the future.

Having vented his desires, Duoduo looked at Lucy, whose pretty face was streaked with tears and whose eyes were filled with despair. The still faint traces of childishness on her face suddenly made his heart ache. Had he gone too far? What was wrong with him? When desire arose, he seemed to disregard everything in the world, acting solely on his own will.

"Lucy..." Duoduo hesitated, then called softly.

Lucy remained silent, as if dead.

"Lucy, just now I..." Duoduo wanted to explain, but before he could finish, Lucy's eyes suddenly began to move.

"Duoduo." Lucy addressed Duoduo so formally for the first time; before, she had only called him a fatso or a monster.

Duoduo quickly responded.

Lucy looked up at Duoduo, her eyes filled with shyness. It was clear that she had matured considerably in an instant; after all, she was no longer suitable to be called a young girl.

"You see, I'm just a waiter in a restaurant now. In fact, I was bought as a slave by Miss Alice and the others. How can I marry you now?" Duoduo thought for a moment and said.

"I don't care!" Lucy said coyly, "From the very first moment you hurt me, you were already the prince consort of the Giant Tree Elf Empire! If you don't marry me, either you kill me, or the entire Giant Tree Elf Empire will be your enemy, and it will be a fight to the death!"

Dodo felt a headache coming on. The last sentence was true; he had only just begun to experience the comforts of this other world, and he didn't want to die so young. Damn it,

little panda! No wonder there's a saying, what goes around comes around!

Heavens! I haven't even been in this world for very long! Dodo cried out in his heart.

Dodo, quick-witted, said, "Lucy, you seemed so wary of those elves earlier, you must be facing some great difficulty, right?"

Lucy replied softly, "I am a prospective saintess of the Elf Temple branch of the Giant Tree Elf Empire. I was supposed to be formally baptized and enter the temple a few days ago, but I don't want to spend my whole life in the temple, having to report to the temple wherever I go and always having to be accompanied by those temple attendants. I want freedom, I want to live a carefree life. So, while I was traveling, I met that wicked guy with the goatee who actually tried to kidnap me..."

At this point, Lucy seemed to recall the clumsy and ridiculous way the goatee had deceived her, and smiled sweetly. She continued, "I really wanted to know what the Human Empire was like, so I pretended to be drugged by that bad guy, intending to follow him to the Human Empire and then escape. Unexpectedly, I ended up here by some twist of fate, and now, now I'm being... by you, you scoundrel..."

Lucy let out a soft moan and lowered her head, too embarrassed to continue.

Seeing her shy appearance stirred Duo Duo's heart, making him yearn to press Lucy down and indulge in passion again. He hadn't expected this little elven girl to be so captivating after all the trials and tribulations.

Chapter Sixty: The First Time Always Hurts .

After a moment, Lucy raised her head and said, "After some time, once the turmoil at the temple has passed, will you come back to the Giant Tree Elf Empire with me? As long as you're truly good to me, I'll accept it." Duo Duo

hesitated for a moment, thinking, "After some time? That's a matter for the future. Let's take it one step at a time. Now that things have come to this, I have to solve the problems I created myself."

Thinking of this, Duoduo nodded.

A smile bloomed on Lucy's face. Perhaps it was the "first time" complex acting up again, but at this moment, she didn't find Duoduo so repulsive; in fact, she even liked her a little. What could she do? She was an elf, and a pure, young one at that. For elves with strict standards, they often didn't have a choice. Besides, Lucy had spent time with the fat man, and their playful interactions had made them quite familiar. Furthermore, her understanding of "chastity" was still somewhat immature. If she were a mature, older elf, she might have killed the fat man without hesitation and then immolated herself.

Seeing the shyness on Lucy's face, Duoduo felt a surge of emotion, and his lower body stirred slightly, showing signs of erection again.

"Why are you looking at me like that?" Lucy asked疑惑地, then her expression changed. Wasn't that the look Duoduo was giving her just now when he was "bullying" her?

Lucy subconsciously reached out and touched it… the gradually erect "Southern Kingdom" flicked her hand slightly… it was this wicked thing that had just bullied her!

"No, umm, no more, it hurts, it still hurts," Lucy cried out. "You villain, you devil, you don't even spare a little girl like me, you're not human!" Her little hands kept hitting Duo Duo's body.

"You called me a devil yourself," Duo Duo said softly, quickly rolling over and pinning Lucy down again. He figured he might as well enjoy life first.

Just then, Linda's roar came from outside.

"Duo Duo, are you going to die? Get down and clean up!" While

Duo Duo was stunned, Lucy quickly crawled out from under him, jumping off the bed. A sharp pain shot through her lower body, and she couldn't help but groan in pain.

"You bad guy!" Lucy looked down at her blood-stained, swollen genitals and cursed Duo Duo fiercely. Duo Duo

grinned mischievously, "The first time always hurts, it'll be better next time..."

"You want a next time!" Lucy looked at Duo Duo in horror.

"Weren't you uncomfortable just now? Not at all?" Duo Duo asked.

Lucy's face flushed crimson. The strange feeling of being raped by Duo Duo in the later stages, her own moans during that experience, and the insane thoughts that had been running through her mind made her feel utterly ashamed.

"You fatso! If you ever bring this up again, I... I'll never speak to you again!" Lucy said fiercely. Originally, she had intended to threaten Duo Duo with killing him, but after thinking about it, she realized that such threats wouldn't work on this fatso at all. Besides, she had already witnessed Duo Duo's terrifying abilities; killing him? Probably no one in the entire Giant Tree Elf Empire could do that!

Dodo, naked, climbed out of bed, dressing as he grinned mischievously. "You said you'd let me marry you. Isn't it normal for husband and wife to do this? Does marrying you mean I can't do it anymore? Then just kill me!"

"You!" Lucy glared at Dodo, her voice softening at his grinning face. Two tears fell as she looked down. "You just know how to bully me..."

Dodo, seeing Lucy's pitiful state, felt a pang of sadness. He hugged her, gently kissed her forehead, and whispered in her ear, "Baby, I'll be gentler next time."

Just then, footsteps echoed in the hallway.

"Dodo, are you dead?! Get out here right now!" Linda shouted angrily.

Lucy panicked, looking around frantically for a hiding place. She didn't want Linda to see her like this.

Dodo whispered, "I'll go out first. You can go out when no one's in the hallway." He hastily straightened his clothes and left before Linda reached his room.

"Miss Linda..." Dodo bowed, about to explain.

Linda kicked him, causing him to stumble, interrupting his explanation. "Like a dead man! Useless!" she said.

"I...I was terrified, it was so...so scary," Dodo said, his expression incredibly panicked, inwardly cursing, "Damn it, you got ripped off by those bandits and now you're taking it out on me! I'll make you beg for mercy sooner or later!"

"If you don't clean the restaurant thoroughly before opening, be prepared to go to the slave market!" Linda said coldly, then went into her room and slammed the door shut.

Afterwards, Xiuzhen and Alice also came upstairs, comforting the frightened guests in each guest room.

The power of beautiful women is immense!

After being comforted by Xiuzhen and Alice, the guests were no longer afraid. Instead, they unanimously said they would stay there again next time they came to Mandala City.

You see, in their eyes, staying at the Half-Step Restaurant meant not only were the three female owners incredibly beautiful, but they were also highly capable. They could secretly imagine these three female owners as their bodyguards and indulge in their fantasies…

“Sister Alice, should we go see Sister Linda?” Xiuzhen asked.

“No, she’ll be fine in a bit. This is probably the first time she’s ever been wronged in her life! If you go to comfort her now, she’ll think you’re deliberately mocking her. You know Linda’s temper,” Alice said with a smile.

Xiuzhen chuckled, looked up and saw Duoduo still standing there dumbfounded, and said, "Duoduo, why are you still standing here? Do you really want to go to the slave market?"

Duoduo nodded quickly and went downstairs. He had been standing there thinking that Linda's temper was too fiery and her personality too eccentric; should he try to please someone else?

But in the end, he dismissed the idea. Although Linda had many flaws, at least she was straightforward, expressing her thoughts directly. Compared to Linda, Alice and Xiuzhen were somewhat unpredictable.

During his time at the Banbuduo Restaurant, Duoduo had become quite nimble. In no time, he had moved the broken tables and chairs from the hall to the backyard and washed away the ashes and bloodstains on the ground.

Just as he finished, Lucy quietly came downstairs.

Lucy was about to speak to Toto when Toto stopped her with a look. Following Toto's gaze, she saw the goatee still huddled in the corner, muttering to himself and trembling.

"Hey, let's go!" Lucy glared at Toto, turned, kicked the goatee, and walked towards the backyard.

The goatee looked around the hall blankly, then looked at Toto and asked, "The monster's gone?"

Toto cursed the coward inwardly. Damn it! He was handsome from every angle after transforming; besides, was there anyone uglier?

Chapter Sixty-One: Grandma Liu Visits the Grand View Garden

"He's gone!" Duo Duo said coldly, casually splashing a basin of water on the ground, splashing it onto the goatee. "Get out of the way, I need to clean up!"

Hearing that the monster he feared most had indeed left, the goatee's courage immediately swelled. He jumped up, pointing at Duo Duo

and shouting, "You dare splash water on me!" Duo Duo casually splashed another basin of water at him, and the goatee immediately skipped and ran towards the backyard, muttering threats as he went: "Damn half-elf! Ugly fatso! I'll tell the boss about you..."

Looking at the goatee's disheveled appearance, Duo Duo chuckled; life was starting to get wonderful. It

was the opening time of the Half-Step Restaurant.

Linda, Xiuzhen, and Alice came downstairs, each dressed in clean clothes.

Linda was wearing a black velvet low-cut dress with lace trim today. The black fabric made her skin appear even whiter. The low neckline revealed a small portion of her deep cleavage, and the form-fitting black velvet fabric perfectly showcased her curvaceous figure. The dress had a slit that went up to above her knees, and her shapely, long legs were faintly visible with each step… Duoduo

stared at Linda in amazement, wondering why this woman, who seemed to be in a bad mood today, would still be dressed so beautifully. It had to be said, this hot woman's figure was truly amazing; Duoduo swallowed hard several times.

"Wow, Sister Linda, you look so beautiful today," Xiuzhen exclaimed.

Women are all the same; they all like to be complimented on their appearance, even if the person is another woman. They feel a sense of pride.

Linda smiled smugly and asked, "Is it really pretty?"

Xiuzhen nodded, moved closer to Linda, and hugged her arm, saying, "I definitely want to make a dress as pretty as this too." Then, she excitedly said to Alice, "Sister Alice, why don't you make one too? Hmm, this will be our Banbuduo Restaurant owner's uniform from now on, hehe."

Alice's eyes never left Linda's body, her beautiful eyes gradually becoming misty, and two blushes rising on her face.

"Sister Alice, do you think it's okay?" Xiuzhen asked again.

"Ah?" Alice suddenly came to her senses, her face becoming even redder, and she quickly said, "Okay, okay... I'll go back to my room to get some things." Saying that, she turned around and quickly went back upstairs.

Xiuzhen asked in surprise, "What's wrong with Sister Alice? Her expression is strange."

Duoduo saw all this and, recalling the books and AV videos he had seen in his previous life, combined with his genius mind and ability to summarize, he understood the change in Alice's expression. It seemed that this cold woman really was a lesbian! Just now, the lust in her eyes seemed even more intense than his own...

What did she go upstairs to do? Could it be...? Duoduo's thoughts became even more filthy, and a lewd image appeared in his mind: Alice moaning, kneading her breasts with one hand, while her other hand was busily working under her skirt...

"Duoduo!" Linda shouted angrily, seeing Duoduo's dazed look.

Dodo suddenly shivered and hurriedly bowed, saying, "Miss Linda, I've finished cleaning. Are you satisfied?"

Linda glanced around the hall, looking at the clean floor and neatly arranged tables and chairs, and nodded slightly. In fact, Xiuzhen's praise had already greatly improved her mood, and she no longer had the mind to pick a fight with Dodo.

"Dodo, go to the market later and order a few sets of tables and chairs to fill the empty spaces in the hall. Remember, order exactly the same as before!" Linda instructed. After Dodo obediently returned from finding Da Qingshi, Linda seemed to trust Dodo more and more.

Duo Duo nodded hastily, overjoyed. He'd been sold into slavery in Mandala City for several years, but since arriving at the Banbuduo Restaurant, it had been operating normally. The merchants always delivered his food and drinks on time, so he spent his days busy at the restaurant without ever leaving Mandala City.

"Are you happy to let me out? It seems you don't like the Banbuduo Restaurant at all!" Linda said coldly.

Duo Duo hurriedly bowed and said, "It is an immense honor for Duo Duo to serve you ladies."

Linda snorted coldly, turned around, and called out loudly, "Where's Lucy? While Duo Duo is away, you will serve in the main hall!"

Lucy responded from the backyard, and Linda waved to Duo Duo, saying, "Just find suitable tables and chairs and have them brought here to settle the bill."

Duo Duo nodded, turned, and left the Half-Step Duo Restaurant...

Due to the geographical location of Mandala City, it was frequented by merchants and adventurers.

For this reason, the streets of Mandala City were very lively, and the variety of goods was no less than that of any elven or human imperial city.

Duo Duo walked out of the Half-Step Duo Restaurant, followed the pedestrians, and turned two alleyways before entering a bustling market.

Various clothing, accessories, and specialties from the elven or human empires filled the narrow streets, leaving Duo Duo overwhelmed with choices.

"Damn it, now I finally understand how Grandma Liu felt when she visited the Grand View Garden!" Duo Duo muttered to himself.

A moment later, our Duo Duo began his first shopping trip in Mandala City.

Everything on this bustling street was new and exciting to him. He excitedly looked at the dazzling array of stalls on both sides, touching this and that, but unfortunately, his pockets were empty. He touched things but didn't buy anything, earning him a few glares from the stall owners.

If it weren't for the fact that the Half-Step Duo Restaurant was very famous throughout Mandala, and most people who dined there recognized the chubby half-elf waiter, Duo Duo would probably have received a good scolding. There was no way around it; among all races, half-elves had the lowest status. After

wandering around the streets for a long time, Duo Duo suddenly remembered his mission. Startled, he quickly grabbed a dwarf and asked him for directions to the most famous carpenter's shop in Mandala City. After getting detailed directions, he headed straight for the carpenter's shop.

The streets of Mandala City weren't complicated, but even so, Duo Duo, venturing out for the first time, had to ask several passersby for directions before finally finding the carpenter's shop.

Duo Duo had imagined that this supposedly most famous carpenter's shop in Mandala City should have a storefront befitting its reputation. However, upon arrival, Duo Duo was greatly disappointed. The shop's storefront was tiny, and the signboard was filthy, clearly having been neglected for a long time.

Approaching the shop, he heard the grating sound of sawing wood coming from inside.

Duo Duo

frowned and stepped into the carpenter's shop. The light inside was dim, and it took him a while to adjust before he could clearly see the furnishings.

Wrong! The word "furnishings" seemed excessive to

Duo Duo. The floor was littered with sawdust, nails were scattered everywhere, and there were some unfinished tables, chairs, and utensils. A pungent smell of oil made it difficult for Duo Duo to breathe.

"Is anyone there?" Dodo called out, eager to get things sorted out and leave this awful carpenter's shop.

No sooner had he spoken than a slender, extremely handsome elf man, about the same height as Dodo, emerged.

"What do you need?" the elven man asked coldly, casually tossing aside the axe he was holding.

"Tables and chairs, I need a few sets!" Duo Duo said, utterly astonished. He couldn't believe that such a dirty and chaotic shop was owned by an elf known for his neatness and elegance. Duo Duo's eyes darted around, scrutinizing the elf. Strangely, he felt this elf was different from the other great elves he'd met before, though in the dim light, he couldn't quite place the difference. The elven man seemed

annoyed by Duo Duo's gaze. He crouched down, haphazardly tidying up the nails on the ground, and casually asked, "What kind of tables and chairs do you need? A dining table? A work table?... "

A dining table!" Duo Duo said.

"What color? What shape? What kind of wood?" the elven man asked.

Duo Duo was speechless. He didn't understand a word the elven man was asking.

"Have you ever been to the Half-Step Duo Restaurant?" Duo Duo asked.

The elven man looked up and gave Dodo a cold glance. Due to the inherent elven prejudice, they held half-elves in contempt. The man had originally wanted to get rid of this ugly half-elf quickly, but the half-elf didn't seem inclined to leave immediately. Instead, he started talking about a restaurant!

"What color? What shape? What kind of wood?" the elven man asked again.

"Damn it! He's just a stinky carpenter! He's no better than me, a waiter! What a load of rubbish!" Dodo cursed inwardly, feeling disgusted with the elven man.

"I want tables and chairs like those in the Half-Step Restaurant!" Dodo's tone hardened. Damn it, the customer is always right. He was trying to be polite, why was the man acting like a pushover?

"I wonder what the tables and chairs are like at the Half-Step Restaurant?" the elven man said, standing up.

As soon as the words left his mouth, an aged voice came from behind the carpenter's shop: "I know." Then, an elderly human, dressed in a tattered robe, carrying a handful of nails, with a wrinkled face and a thick, white beard, emerged.

Duo Duo looked at the elderly human in surprise, then at the elven man. He couldn't understand how these two seemingly unrelated races had come together.

Elves, for their part, considered themselves noble, admiring and yearning for all things beautiful. In their eyes, humans were the ugliest creatures, not just in appearance, but more so in their corrupt hearts.

Humans, in turn, disliked the self-righteous elves. They saw their supposed nobility and purity as mere self-aggrandizement. In the elven world, the power struggles and intrigues for wealth and power seemed no less intense than in the human world. Therefore, humans and elves had always held each other in contempt.

But the reality was unexpected; before Duo Duo stood a perfect human and a perfect elven pair.

"How many sets do you want?" the human elder asked politely, his eyes showing none of the disdain the elf man had shown him.

This elf elder was, after Mulan, the second elf to use honorifics with Duo Duo, which made Duo Duo feel very comfortable, and his displeasure instantly vanished.

"Looks like I've been too naive," Duo Duo thought to himself, his surprise turning into a natural expression. "Have

you ever been to the Banbuduo Restaurant?" Duo Duo asked with a smile.

The human elder chuckled, "All the tables and chairs at the Banbuduo Restaurant were made by me! It's been many years." Duo Duo was overjoyed and

said, "Yes, we need six tables and twenty chairs, made according to the original design. Our boss said he'll settle the bill after you deliver the tables to the Banbuduo Restaurant, is that alright?"

"Sure, absolutely! You're a regular customer, haha!" the human elder laughed heartily.

After exchanging a few words with the old man and agreeing on a time for the work, Duoduo left the carpenter's shop. As he stepped out, he heard the elven man give a disdainful snort. He

hadn't gone far when he saw a group of people wearing black open coats, each with a thin wooden stick in their mouth, approaching. This group was of various races: dwarves, elves, and even a few half-elves. Having already formed his initial impression, Duoduo wasn't surprised to see this mixed group.

"Thugs!"

The first two words flashed through Duoduo's mind, and he felt a strange sense of familiarity. "Damn, finally found something in common between past and present lives! It turns out, thugs in both past and present lives like the same attire: black trench coats, toothpicks in their mouths...

" Duoduo instinctively stepped aside, pretending to look at the tattered notices on the wall, even though he was illiterate.

The thugs swaggered past him and went straight into the carpenter's shop.

Finally, a series of crackling sounds came from the carpenter's shop. Duo Duo hesitated for a moment, then secretly walked to the door and peeked inside.

In the blink of an eye, the shop was a mess; the unfinished tools had been smashed to pieces by the thugs.

"Old man! Time to pay your protection money this month!" the leader, a bald dwarf, said viciously. "

Damn it! Even their tone is the same as those thugs from my past life!" Duo Duo exclaimed inwardly. Come to think of it, the thugs and ruffians he knew from his previous life were only from television and movies; he had never seen a "live demonstration" like this before.

"What protection money?" the elven man demanded coldly.

Chapter Sixty-Three: The Foreign Circus

"Damn it, you're new here? I don't care where you're from, once you're in Mandala City, you have to abide by our rules! If you open a shop, you have to pay protection money every month!" the bald dwarf said arrogantly. Unfortunately, he was too short, and the way he stood in front of the elf man, who was twice his height, gesturing wildly was utterly ridiculous.

"Protection money?" Duo Duo was taken aback, a question forming in his mind. If he hadn't seen it today, he wouldn't have known that such a group existed in Mandala City. In his memory, there had never been any thugs or ruffians causing trouble at the Half-Step Restaurant. Duo

Duo didn't know that when Linda, Xiuzhen, and Alice first arrived in Mandala City and established the Half-Step Restaurant, these thugs had also come to cause trouble. However, they were all secretly punished by the Three Kingdoms Guards who followed them. After many such incidents, the thugs knew that the Half-Step Restaurant had a powerful background and dared not cause trouble again.

As the saying goes, "The weak are bullied, the strong are feared"—this is the inherent weakness of all living beings.

These thugs and ruffians dare not provoke the Half-Step More Restaurant, but they won't let honest merchants off the hook.

There are quite a few reclusive masters in Mandala City, but all recluses hold an attitude of escaping the world. Not to mention that these thugs and ruffians haven't provoked them, even if they have, they wouldn't bother with such a rabble.

Therefore, in an independent small city like Mandala City, where there are no national laws to regulate things, being a thug and ruffian has always been one of the most promising professions.

"Where did that old guy go! Make him get out here right now!" The bald dwarf, seeing that the elf man wasn't buying it, couldn't help but shout, his voice trembling with fear.

"Get out!" the elf man coldly retorted.

"Damn it, you're pretty arrogant! Brothers, come at me!" the bald dwarf shouted, his fist aimed straight at the elf man. Due to his height, the punch landed precisely on the elf man's groin.

Suddenly, Duo Duo noticed a faint black light emanating from the elf man's body. Because of the dim lighting in the carpenter's shop, no one else noticed this change. A strange feeling washed over Duo Duo; it was eerily familiar.

Duo Duo immediately realized that this elf man was far more complex than he appeared. He could even foresee the terrible fate that awaited those thugs!

Suddenly, the old human appeared behind the elf man without warning. It was as if Duo Duo hadn't seen anything in the blink of an eye, but the old man was there.

"Monrik, how could you anger the gentlemen?" the old man said with a smile, his hand gently resting on Monrik's shoulder.

Duoduo clearly saw that as the old man's hand touched Monrek's shoulder, the faint black light emanating from Monrek's body vanished instantly. Then, the old man gently pulled, and Monrek's body involuntarily took a step back, just dodging the dwarf's punch.

"Gentlemen, my new apprentice is a bit ignorant, please don't take it to heart," the old man said apologetically.

The bald dwarf waved his hand, and his accomplices behind him stopped in their tracks, glaring menacingly at the old man.

"Old man! Where the hell were you just now! You weren't deliberately hiding from us, trying to avoid paying protection money, were you?" the bald dwarf said viciously.

"No, you know, I always follow your rules. I went out just now to collect protection money. Even if you hadn't come, I would have delivered it to you on time." The old man took out a money bag and respectfully handed it to the bald dwarf.

The bald dwarf weighed his hands in his hand, then let out a series of strange laughs, saying, "You old codger know how to handle things! Teach your apprentice a lesson; if he dares to be disrespectful to us again, he won't leave Mandala City unscathed!"

"Yes, yes, I'll definitely teach him a lesson!" the old man hurriedly replied.

At this moment, a tall orc strode towards the carpenter's shop from the alleyway entrance. Seeing Duo Duo eavesdropping at the door, he glared at him fiercely but ignored him and went into the carpenter's shop.

"Second Chief! A circus has arrived in the city square!" the orc said to the bald dwarf.

"Damn it, let's go see!" the bald dwarf cursed loudly, turning around and waving his hand as he led his gang of thugs out of the carpenter's shop. Duo Duo

quickly jumped to a spot a short distance away and began to pretend to look at the tattered notice again.

In the square in the center of Mandala City, a huge colorful tent had been erected, with colorful flags flying in the wind, creating a beautiful sight.

Outside the tent, a sharp fence surrounded the area. Between the fence and the tent, rows of old caravans were parked, and inside each caravan were sturdy iron cages containing various magical beasts, some gentle and cute, others fierce and terrifying, emitting ferocious roars that terrified the children watching. Facing the

main street of Mandala City, a tall gate arched with a seven-colored rainbow bridge, on which were written five large characters in human and elven script: "Wonderful Circus." At the entrance

to the huge tent, circus members in their costumes frequently entered and exited. The costumes were quite beautiful; the men wore silver bodysuits with fiery red capes, while the women wore tight-fitting long dresses with vents extending all the way to their waists, clearly revealing their shapely buttocks as they walked.

"Wow, a wondrous circus!" exclaimed a human pedestrian.

An orc beside him asked curiously, "You've heard of it?"

"Of course! This circus is incredibly famous in human territory. It's said they're even invited to perform at grand banquets in the human empire's palace!" the human said.

"Really that amazing?" an elf scoffed, clearly skeptical.

The human coldly replied, "If you don't believe me, go see for yourself. You elves have probably never seen such a spectacular performance!"

"Circus? That's all crude stuff! Our elven dances are the most beautiful art, art! Do you humans even understand?" the elf retorted. Just

as the human was about to retort, the orc quickly intervened, saying, "We'll see who's good and who's bad during the performance! Do you want to fight over this?"

The human and the elf glared at each other, snorted, and walked off in opposite directions…
