Ancient Martial Saint Emperor of Another World [Complete] - 10

Chapter 111 The Heavenly Demon Slash of the Death Prison

A figure flew out from the Riva Pass, and at the same time, a clear voice rang out, "Your Highness Qin truly lives up to his reputation as a genius that appears only once in ten thousand years. Reaching the Saint Rank at only fifteen years old is truly a cause for celebration!"

The figure flew closer and closer until it could finally be seen. He wore a magnificent blue magic robe, with nine gold stars embroidered on his left chest. It was none other than the Great Qin's Grand Master of Water, the Archmage Hardman Princeton.

"Guoshi, weren't you with the army to intercept the Fatil invading forces? What are you doing here?" Qin Feng, holding Catherine in his arms, said loudly to Archmage Hardman.

"Two days ago, His Majesty led the Golden Lion Knights to attack the rear of the Fatil army. We seized the opportunity to break out of the city, and His Majesty, with the help of those inside and outside, defeated the Fatil army. His Highness personally led the Golden Lion Knights in pursuit, fighting all the way to the vicinity of Kadah, and reclaimed all the lost territory." Master Hadman paused and continued,

"His Highness sent me to invite His Highness back to the city. I hope His Highness can return with me, and of course, Miss Catherine as well."

"Master, it's not that I don't want to go back with you, but if I go back, I will surely die. So I'm afraid I can't comply!" Qin Feng said with a bitter smile.

"Very well, then I will 'invite' Your Highness back!" After Master Hadman finished speaking, without chanting any incantations, countless blades flashing with cold light shot towards Qin Feng and his companion.

"Break!" Qin Feng roared, drawing water from the surface with his right hand. A column of water as thick as a bowl was sucked up. Then, Qin Feng swung his right hand several times, unleashing a powerful palm strike that vaporized the water column, creating a white mist like clouds in the sky as it attacked the incoming ice blades. This was

the ancient Chinese martial art—the Cloud-Dispelling Palm.

Qin Feng's Cloud-Dispelling Palm, carrying an unstoppable momentum, instantly shattered all the incoming ice blades, its remaining force undiminished, heading towards Master Hardman's location.

Master Hardman didn't dodge; just as the palm strike was about to hit him, he suddenly vanished, reappearing about ten feet behind Qin Feng, using the unique skill of a Grand Magister—Instant Color.

"Water element filling the air! I beg you to grant my wish. Condense into ice, transform into arrows, and attack! Ice Burst Arrows!" Master Hardman, as expected of a Grand Magister who had reached the Saint rank for many years, possessed incredibly rich combat experience. Before Qin Feng could even turn around, he had already completed a level six water-based area-of-effect attack spell, Ice Burst Arrows.

Instantly, countless ice arrows attacked Qin Feng and his companion. This time, the ice arrows were denser and covered a wider area than the previous ice blades. The area within ten feet of Qin Feng was completely covered.

This time, Master Hardman's attack was fast and ruthless, and the addition of teleportation made his attack even more unpredictable. By the time Qin Feng turned around, the gleaming ice arrows were already... The attack was imminent.

At this critical moment, Catherine in Qin Feng's arms stirred. She deftly broke free from his embrace, and a burst of intense heat erupted from her body, protecting both of them.

Water and fire are incompatible; the ice arrow melted instantly upon entering the flame. This flame was an additional effect of Catherine's released battle aura. As a descendant of the Phoenix, her battle aura was filled with fire elements, perfectly blocking Master Hardman's second wave of attack.

Qin Feng, after all, had only recently reached the Saint rank; his combat experience and energy control were far inferior to Master Hardman, a Grand Magus who had been at the Saint rank for decades.

"Miss Catherine, you've reached the Sword Emperor realm at such a young age! That's far superior to your grandfather's level back then!"

"You flatter me, Master." “Catherine bowed to Master Hardman.

“Hehe, go back and give my regards to your grandfather. Tell him he needs to prepare the two bottles of Dreamy Jade Elixir he lost to me; I'm really thinking about them.” Master Hardman laughed, then addressed Qin Feng solemnly, “Your Highness, we are both Saint-level beings. What happened just now was merely a small skirmish. I will now give it my all.”

“Very well, Master, Qin Jiu will also give it his all!” Qin Feng bowed to Master Hardman.

Master Hardman’s expression turned serious. He took out his magic wand and looked at Qin Feng, saying, “Your Highness, I am about to cast a level nine forbidden spell. Be careful.”

Qin Feng nodded solemnly, immediately circulating the Azure Sky Technique within his body. Golden energy surged forth from his meridians, forming a thin, pale golden protective layer on his skin.

"O water element of heaven and earth, I..." Master Hadman, who had just begun chanting, had to stop and teleport away. Qin Feng had attacked the moment he started chanting. Fortunately, Qin Feng didn't intend to kill Master Hadman; otherwise, if he had interrupted him halfway through the chant, Master Hadman would have been backfired by the magical elements, losing all his magic or even his life.

The Eight Steps of the Heavenly Demon, a peerless martial art said to be invincible within eight steps in close combat, was created by the great hero Chen Nan.

Qin Feng was currently using the Eight Steps of the Heavenly Demon, forcing Master Hadman to rely solely on teleportation. Constantly changing positions to evade Qin Feng's entanglement, Qin Feng knew his magic power would eventually run out.

Like Master Hardman, Qin Feng felt frustrated. His Heavenly Demon Eight Steps, hailed as invincible in close combat, was now only useful for a cat-and-mouse game; he couldn't even touch Master Hardman's clothes, always being teleported away at the last moment.

Suddenly, Qin Feng abruptly stopped, his expression grave as he stared at Master Hardman, who had just teleported away. A chilling, destructive energy emanated from him, pressing towards Master Hardman.

Master Hardman, seemingly sensing this, cast several magical shields on himself and began his incantation:

"Water elements of heaven and earth, according to the ancient covenant, I beg you to transform into a sacred dragon, to save humanity from suffering, and to destroy all evil before us! Ice Dragon Descends!" "

Level 9 Water Magic Forbidden Spell - Ice Dragon Descent."

Catherine felt as if the water elements in the world were being forcibly drawn to some kind of energy, gathering around Master Hardman. The rain beneath her feet seemed to boil, creating towering waves. Countless water elements broke free from the river and flew to Master Hardman's side, arranging themselves in a mysterious formation.

Gradually, a gigantic ice dragon formed above Master Hardman's head, even larger than the phoenix Catherine had conjured. Its head and tail were nearly thirty feet long, and the cold light emanating from its gaping maw made Catherine involuntarily retreat nearly a hundred feet. Qin

Feng, facing Master Hardman, appeared exceptionally strange. He floated in mid-air with his eyes closed, his right hand raised high with five fingers together, his golden hair turned jet black, and the space within ten feet around him seemed to fall silent, shrouded in a chilling killing intent. The boundless resentment even instilled a deep-seated fear in Catherine, who was pushed to the sidelines.

The black aura, resentment, and killing intent surrounding Qin Feng seemed to be summoned, slowly condensing into a phantom of a demon, moving in the same manner as Qin Feng. This phantom was no less imposing than the golden statue of the Immovable King Qin Feng had conjured a few days prior when he unleashed the Immovable King Slash.

The demonic phantom exuded an apocalyptic deathly aura, its ferocious expression revealing its loathing for everything in the world. Boundless death energy emanated from its empty eye sockets, as if it wanted to destroy all things.

The ice dragon conjured by Master Hardman's forbidden incantation, though enormous, appeared like a toy compared to the phantom behind Qin Feng.

However, Master Hardman was already on the verge of execution; as he finished uttering the last word, the enormous ice dragon seemed to come alive, baring its fangs and claws as it charged towards Qin Feng.

Qin Feng, who had been holding his eyes closed in mid-air, suddenly opened them. An intense killing intent flashed in his eyes as he raised his right hand and slashed fiercely at the attacking ice dragon. The right hand of the illusory demon behind Qin Feng also cleaved downwards in sync with his movement.

Ancient Chinese martial art – Death Prison Demon Slash.

Without a sound, without even a ripple of energy, the massive right hand of the illusory demon cleaved the ice dragon in two!

The demon's right hand, undiminished in momentum, slashed down towards the stunned Master Hartman.

Seeing Master Hartman about to be cut in two, Catherine on the sidelines turned pale with fright.

"Ahhhhh!"

Suddenly, a wail echoed from Qin Feng in mid-air. The illusory demon behind him instantly vanished, and the out-of-control energy surged wildly within his body. The massive energy backlash caused Qin Feng to let out a painful, agonizing scream.

Although Master Hardman escaped being cleaved in two, the residual force of the demon's right hand left a shallow bloodstain on his forehead.

Master Hardman was clearly still reeling from the strange phenomenon, remaining dazed in his previous posture. In his nearly one hundred years of life, he had never seen, let alone heard of, anyone who could break a forbidden spell so easily. Even a god-level being, let alone a saint-level one, couldn't break a level nine forbidden spell so effortlessly in a direct confrontation! In

mid-air, Qin Feng exhibited the symptoms he had experienced during his battle with the King of Qin, but this time the consequences were far more severe. Last time, due to a day of intense fighting, his energy was nearly depleted, resulting only in damage to his meridians. This time, however, his energy was abundant, causing his entire meridian system to be shattered by the uncontrolled energy, resulting in severe injuries!

Chapter 112 Shbuka Encounters

Danger On a small island in the river, Katherine, who was watching from the sidelines, saw Qin Feng fall from mid-air and rushed forward to catch him. However, because there was nowhere to gain leverage on the river, and Katherine had not yet reached the Saint Rank and could not fly, coupled with the large amount of battle qi she had expended to defend against Master Hardman's Ice Burst Arrow, she and Qin Feng fell into the river together.

Only after Katherine and Qin Feng had fallen into the river did Master Hardman recover, looking as if he had aged ten years. He glanced at the spot where Katherine and the other two had fallen into the water with a complicated expression, shook his head, sighed slightly, and flew back.

Shbuka, a small town in the northern part of the Kingdom of Kavanagh, is a beautiful border town nestled against the mountains and by the river, located at the foot of Mount Altons, the most majestic mountain in Kavanagh, on the lower reaches of the Lisi River on the border between the Qin Dynasty and Kavanagh.

Late at night, on the banks of the Lisi River outside Shbuka, a figure climbed ashore from the water. The figure was somewhat bloated, walking unsteadily forward, and soon disappeared into the pitch-black night.

Qin Feng slowly awoke, feeling as if his entire body had been torn apart. He tried to circulate his internal energy, only to discover that all the meridians in his body had been severed into small pieces. A wave of powerlessness and despair washed over Qin Feng. His most prized ancient martial arts were gone just like that? Fortunately, his mental energy in his brain was still intact, meaning the Heaven-Shattering Earth-Striking Technique could still be used.

Qin Feng listlessly glanced around and found himself in a cave. Catherine was facing the cave entrance, leaning against the wall, seemingly doing something, leaving Qin Feng with a captivating silhouette.

"Water...water..." Qin Feng licked his dry lips and said in a hoarse voice.

Catherine turned her head at the cave entrance, saw Qin Feng open his eyes, and walked over. She picked up a water pouch and held it to Qin Feng's lips, pouring water into his mouth, causing Qin Feng to cough violently.

"Alright. You're still alive. We'll set off after a short rest," Catherine said coldly. She then ignored Qin Feng and returned to her previous seat, leaving Qin Feng completely bewildered, wondering what he had done to offend her!

Two special guests arrived in Shibuka City: a blond youth in silver armor. Although the armor was somewhat damaged, the iridescent light flowing across its surface indicated its extraordinary nature.

Beside the blond-haired, silver-armored youth was a woman, or rather, a beautiful woman. She also had radiant blond hair, fair skin, a stunning figure, and wore fiery red women's armor.

The couple walking down the street attracted many admiring glances from men and women alike; after all, it was rare to find such an outstanding couple in a remote little town.

However, the couple completely ignored these gazes and headed straight for their destination: Shibuka's largest restaurant—the Forgotten Return Restaurant.

What were they doing at the restaurant? Of course, eating! Qin Feng and Catherine were now perfectly embodying the word 'eat'. A whole table of food and wine was laid out. Although Wanggui Restaurant didn't have as many top-quality ingredients as some of the grand restaurants in big cities, as the saying goes, "those who live near the mountain eat from the mountain,

" and there were still quite a few delicacies here. Just as the two of them were enjoying their meal, a commotion arose from downstairs. One of the voices, a hoarse, raspy voice, was particularly grating: "Where's the beauty? Jack, didn't you say there was a beauty? Where is she? Take me to see her!"

Then came the sound of footsteps climbing the stairs, followed by a large group of brightly dressed young men. The first one, dressed in magnificent aristocratic attire, had a pale face, narrow eyebrows, thin eyes, and thin lips; he was clearly a womanizer.

Next to the young nobleman was a slightly older man with a sinister look on his face, who immediately glanced at Qin Feng.

"Oh my god, there really is such a beautiful girl! Damn Jack, why didn't you tell me sooner?" The richly dressed young man complained to the slightly older young man next to him like a rooster crowing, then walked towards Catherine.

Actually, Qin Feng and Catherine had already noticed the richly dressed young man, but they were both too hungry to notice anything else, so they were busy eating and didn't care about anything else.

"This beautiful lady, let me introduce myself. I am the only son of Viscount Strang, the city lord of this city. It is a great honor for you to be a guest in Shbuka. Would you do me the honor of having lunch at my home? I think my father would be very happy to have you here." "The richly dressed young man feigned gentlemanly conduct, but his lecherous gaze roamed over Catherine's body.

Qin Feng chuckled inwardly; another fool. His hands moved swiftly, a piece of smooth pheasant meat entering his mouth. He glanced at Catherine, who seemed oblivious to the young man's words, continuing to eat with remarkable elegance.

The young man's expression changed slightly, but he patiently repeated himself. Of course, the result was the same: Catherine ignored him.

Now, the young man lost face and reached out to grab Catherine. But just as he was gloating over his grasp of her left hand, a blazing flame suddenly scorched his right hand.

"Ahhh! My hand! You damned bitch! Get her! Seize her and take her back to the city lord's mansion!" "Young City Lord, which rooster is that?" he roared, his voice tinged with exasperation.

The rest of the plot was very old-fashioned. Catherine felt she had given this group a good beating, and as everyone had guessed, the young city lord's father, Viscount Shte, also arrived. However, along with him were members of the Papacy, accompanied by three thousand city guards.

Qin Feng leaned back in his chair, rubbing his full stomach, watching the spectacle with great interest. Qin Feng found some of Catherine's behavior very strange, because after waking up from this coma, He felt that the Catherine he knew now was completely different from the one before he fell into a coma.

One was cold and expressionless, the other alluring yet innocent. Which one was the real her? Qin Feng shook his head with a wry smile.

Catherine glanced at the Holy Knights of the Papacy surrounding the restaurant and the three thousand city guards, then turned to Qin Feng, casting an inquiring look.

The look of amusement on Qin Feng's face vanished instantly, replaced by a chilling killing intent. He nodded to Catherine. Since she was courting death, then she shouldn't blame anyone!

Temporarily being unable to use ancient martial arts doesn't mean he can't kill anyone in a long time. Don't forget, Qin Feng is still a multi-elemental magic talent, a master archmage.

The hoarse-voiced young city lord, seeing his father arrive with his entire army, including a small squad of knights from the Holy See's Guardian Knights—whose armor and mounts were far superior to the city guards—immediately scrambled to his father's feet, crying and pleading.

Catherine drew her sword, while Qin Feng held a milky-white magic staff (readers who don't remember the staff's origin can refer to Chapter 29 of Volume 1). The two stood side-by-side by the second-floor window, silently watching the Holy See's Guardian Knights and the city guards below.

"Kill them all?"

"Kill!"

Catherine drew her sword, about to leap down, but Qin Feng grabbed her shoulder.

"I'll do it," Qin Feng said calmly to Catherine, ignoring her questioning gaze. With a flick of his magic wand, without chanting any incantations, the spiritual energy controlled by the "Heaven and Earth Shattering Technique" radiated outwards. The magical elements in the air seemed to receive a command, converging on Qin Feng.

"Meteor Shower!"

"Roaring Tide!" "

Earth Spear Barrage

!" "Dimensional Rift Slash

!" "Ice Burst Arrow!"

"Death Wave!"

A series of level five and six area-of-effect spells of various elements were casually tossed out of the window by Qin Feng, leaving Catherine dumbfounded.

While Qin Feng enjoyed throwing them down, chaos erupted below. The city guards were just ordinary people wearing some armor and carrying weapons, possessing virtually no combat ability. Now, bombarded by these spells, a large number of them died instantly.

Fortunately, the squad leader of the Holy See's Guardian Knights reacted quickly, evacuating the remaining city guards, as Qin Feng's spell-throwing range was limited!

Then, they somehow produced some powerful crossbows for defense and fired them at Qin Feng and his companion upstairs, forcing them inside.

Next, the city guards, having received orders, tied several of the main pillars of the Wanggui Restaurant with thick ropes and pulled desperately in all directions. They were trying to bring the restaurant down!

Qin Feng and his companion on the second floor witnessed everything that happened below, their anger seething but their helplessness palpable. However, Qin Feng's eyes darted around, and he whispered a few words in Catherine's ear, to which she nodded in agreement.

With the efforts of the remaining city guards, the Wanggui Restaurant finally collapsed with a deafening crash, much to their dismay. The diners still inside screamed in agony, as a hail of arrows rained down on the collapsing building, intended to suppress those inside from taking flight. Those injured in the collapse were instantly killed by the arrows amidst the ruins.

The rain of arrows continued until the ruins of the Forgotten Return Inn were completely silent. Only then did the small squad of about nine Holy See Knights cautiously approach the ruins.

The ruins were a scene of utter devastation; the corpses, brutally killed by being thrown or shot, lay on the ground, their faces contorted in horror, as if protesting the atrocities they had just committed.

Just as the knights reached the center of the ruins, they suddenly felt dizzy. Then, a fiery red sword flashed from the ruins and disappeared, slicing the throats of the nine knights within three breaths.

(Chapter 113

: The Spirit-Extinguishing Pill) It would have been difficult to resolve the situation in three breaths, given that these nine were bronze knights of the xxx swordsman level. With Qin Feng's Heavenly Beauty Technique, things would have been different. Qin Feng's timing was perfect; he attacked precisely the moment the Holy See Knights blocked the city guards' view, eliminating all the knights before the city guards' crossbowmen could react.

The ensuing battle became a one-man show for Qin Feng. Even more intense level five and six spells than those cast upstairs were unleashed without any chanting, directly hitting the city guards who were still standing there dumbfounded. Amidst a dazzling display of red, green, blue, yellow, cyan, and black light, screams of agony rippled through the entire town of Shibu, terrifying the very residents.

After eliminating the enemy archers and confirming there was no further danger, Qin Feng used the levitation magic circle on his top-grade magic staff to float into the air and continue bombarding the defenseless city guards.

"You...you're not human! How could you be so cruel to civilians?" the Viscount Shitron trembled, pointing at Qin Feng in mid-air, his voice trembling with tears.

Qin Feng felt a chill run down his spine. This man seemed to be over fifty, yet he acted like a teenage girl. Besides, if they were civilians, why had he been so cruel to the people in the tavern? "Why attack civilians if they're civilians? Damn it, when you kill people, do you not consider they're civilians? Just because someone kills your trainee doesn't make you a civilian!"

Qin Feng rolled his eyes and unleashed a level 5 spatial single-target attack spell, Dimensional Slash, on the still-complaining Viscount Distron. He cleaved the man in two, instantly bringing peace to the world.

In high spirits, Qin Feng continued his massacre. Since his mission to the orcs, aside from subduing the bandit group, almost all the experts he encountered were at least Saint-level. Furthermore, fighting two Saint-level experts consecutively had crippled his ancient martial arts, leaving him incredibly frustrated. Finally, a group of idiots had come to vent his anger on him. Inheriting the cunning and cold-blooded nature of a space pirate, could Qin Feng let them go?

Finally, Qin Feng unleashed his last earth-type level 7 area-of-effect attack spell—Meteor Shower—wiping out the last group of about a hundred city guards.

Blood flowed like a river near the ruins of the Forgotten Return Tower, making Qin Feng's gleaming silver armor appear particularly eerie.

Qin Feng licked his lips, seemingly still savoring the moment. He descended from mid-air to the dazed Catherine, saying, "Beautiful Miss Catherine, shouldn't we leave now? Killing the Vatican's people will surely bring their reinforcements soon, and then it won't be so easy to escape through the compensation trade."

"Oh, so where do we go?" Catherine, clearly still reeling from the shock, asked casually.

"North. Since the Vatican was able to catch us here so quickly, it means they understand our intentions. I imagine there are already heavy troops guarding the south of Kavanagh, so..."

"Won't it be difficult for me to get back?" Catherine's question was clearly idiotic.

"Living is more important than anything else." Qin Feng finished speaking and walked towards the city center.

"Weren't we going north? Then why are you..." Catherine looked at Qin Feng suspiciously as they walked to a general store and asked.

"Do you want to learn how to be a savage in the mountains, beautiful Miss Catherine?" Qin Feng said, leaving Catherine behind to select some items.

By the time the Papacy's reinforcements arrived, Catherine had already purchased all the necessary supplies and hidden in the Aldons Mountains.

Enraged, the Papacy, in conjunction with the King of Qin, issued a continent-wide wanted notice with a reward of one million amethyst coins. The notice was for Qin Feng, the former ninth prince of the Great Qin Dynasty, who, after failing to usurp the throne, had instead kidnapped Catherine Phoenix, the eldest daughter of the Phoenix family. The warrant was for his capture, dead or alive, and the last known location of Qin Feng was the small town of Shibuka in Kavanagh.

Mercenaries across the continent went wild. One million amethyst coins was equivalent to a year's tax revenue for some small principalities! Of course, it wasn't just the mercenaries who went crazy; assassin organizations from the underworld, and even some old men in Shibuka, carrying their farming hoes, went up the mountain to search for Qin Feng. Suddenly, Qin Feng became synonymous with wealth. All sorts of forces flocked to Shibuka.

Meanwhile, Qin Feng, the protagonist of the incident, was leisurely strolling through the Altons forest with Catherine, completely unaware that the entire continent was in an uproar over him.

“If your little lover knew you were like this, she'd be worried sick.” Catherine seemed like a different person today, less cold than before, more alluring, just like last time on the ship.

“Little lover? Who?” Qin Feng asked, puzzled.

“It’s Annie. You haven’t forgotten her after only ten days, have you?” Catherine rolled her eyes at Qin Feng.

“Annie? That name sounds familiar. I feel like I’ve heard it somewhere before, but I can’t remember.” Qin Feng looked at Catherine suspiciously.

“You haven’t really forgotten?” Catherine looked at Qin Feng with some surprise, as if trying to verify his words.

“I…I have a headache…ah…” Qin Feng suddenly clutched his head, letting out a similar wail as the previous two times, and fainted from the pain.

“Hey, what’s wrong with you? Hey!”

When Qin Feng woke up again from his unconsciousness, it was noon the next day. The sun was blazing down, but thankfully he was lying under a big tree by the river, where it was much cooler.

Qin Feng got up, not seeing Catherine, and feeling thirsty, walked towards the river. Just as he reached the riverbank and was about to squat down to drink, he suddenly spotted a white mermaid in the water! But those eyes, those eyebrows, that mouth—why did they look so much like Catherine's?

"Hi!" Before he could react, Qin Feng greeted the mermaid in a friendly manner. Suddenly, he noticed a neatly stacked pile of women's clothes on one side of the riverbank.

Realizing he'd made a terrible mistake, Qin Feng turned to run, but a delicate shout came from behind: "Stop!"

Qin Feng continued running, but three black lines appeared on his forehead. Oh no.

"Help me get my clothes." The voice behind him continued, tinged with shyness.

Qin Feng had no choice but to turn sideways. Using the corner of his eye, he felt his way to the pile of clothes, picked them up, and handed them to the pile. A rustling sound of clothes being put on came from behind him, making Qin Feng's heart flutter. The scene from earlier involuntarily resurfaced in his mind, and he felt a surge of heat throughout his body.

After a while, Catherine's voice came from behind him: "Alright. Turn around."

Qin Feng turned around and was immediately struck by her beauty. It is said that there are three times when a woman is most beautiful: the hazy state after a nap, the allure after a bath, and the shy blush after lovemaking. At this moment, Catherine embodied the second one. Her

still-damp blonde hair curled and coiled over her shoulders, a blush appeared on her fair skin, and her pretty face, though forced to remain composed, concealed a deep shyness. Qin Feng suddenly felt a burning sensation in his throat.

"Uh, just now, I..." Qin Feng tried to explain, but after stammering for a while, he couldn't make himself clear.

"Alright, don't mention these things again!" Catherine interrupted Qin Feng and then asked with concern, "Are you feeling better now?"

"Me? I'm fine, I just can't remember anything from before," Qin Feng said after thinking carefully.

"Then what do you remember?"

"I only remember what happened after I woke up in the cave. I can't remember anything that happened before."

"Then who do you remember?"

"Me? I only remember you, hmm, it seems like the impression of Annie that you mentioned last time. But I just can't remember." Qin Feng said with some distress.

"How is that possible?" Catherine looked at Qin Feng in surprise, thought for a moment and continued to ask, "You really don't remember anything from before?"

"Yes, I only remember two people now, one is you, and the other is myself. I can't remember anything else." Qin Feng said in frustration.

"Could it be... that you ate the Spirit-Extinguishing Pill? But weren't all the Spirit-Extinguishing Pills destroyed?" Catherine muttered to herself.

"Soul-Destroying Pill? I think I've heard of it, but I can't remember where!"

"Based on your symptoms, it's indeed a consequence of the Soul-Destroying Pill. According to the secret records of my family spanning ten thousand years that I've seen, the Soul-Destroying Pill is said to be a pill that can erase other people's souls, concocted by an evil alchemist during the last war between gods and demons. After being fed the Soul-Destroying Pill, the person will lose their soul after experiencing five headaches and fainting spells. The so-called five fainting spells of the Soul-Destroying Pill are excruciating; with each headache, a part of their memory will disappear, and with the last one, they will even forget who they are. If consciousness is implanted into them at this time, they will recognize that person as their master and become their slave. But I heard that all the Soul-Destroying Pills were completely destroyed by the gods after the war, so how come there are still some left?"

"How many times have I fainted?"

"Including this time, this is the third time. One more time, and you will forget me and only remember yourself. After the last time, you will forget even yourself. No wonder both the Holy See and the King of Qin wanted to capture you; so that's how it is." Catherine suddenly realized.

"Oh," Qin Feng responded softly, squatting down to quietly watch the ceaseless river.

"Don't be like this, maybe there's still a way to save us!" Catherine comforted him, squatting beside him.

"Thank you, I'm fine. I just wonder what I'll become after I forget who I am, hehe." Qin Feng chuckled, a touch of melancholy hidden deep in his eyes.

Hearing Qin Feng's bitter laughter, Catherine felt an urge to cry. The youngest Saint-level expert in the history of the continent, easily breaking forbidden spells, instantly casting magic below level seven, this man who seemed to have concentrated the spiritual energy of the continent for tens of thousands of years, would end up not even knowing who he was!

Chapter 114 Necromancer

xxx While Qin Feng and Catherine were speechless, suddenly the surroundings fell silent, and xxx disappeared.

"Careful!"

"Careful!"

Qin Feng and Catherine exclaimed in unison, jumping into the river at the same time.

All they heard was a series of "toot-toot-toot" sounds. A dozen or so arrows were stuck in the spot where they had just stood, their fletching still buzzing.

Just a moment after Qin Feng's Catherine healed Shui, a water dragon suddenly leaped out of the river and rushed towards the forest behind them. With a

"boom," the water dragon exploded into fragments, scattering in all directions.

"Ahhh!" A scream and the sound of a heavy object falling to the ground came from the forest, followed by a dozen or so mercenaries running out.

Qin Feng's Catherine stepped out of the water, sizing up the mercenaries who had ambushed them. If Qin Feng still possessed his ancient martial arts, he would have spotted these mercenaries long ago. However, his meridians were now severed. He had temporarily lost the ability to use all ancient martial arts except for the Heaven-Changing Technique, and could only use magic, which was why he hadn't detected the attackers beforehand.

As Qin Feng's Catherine sized up the mercenaries, the mercenaries were also sizing them up, though their gazes were almost entirely focused on Catherine. The river water had soaked her, and now her curves were on full display.

Seeing their stares, Qin Feng felt a surge of inexplicable irritation, a bloodthirsty urge rising within him. His magic wand materialized in his hand, and without a word, he unleashed a barrage of low-level spells upon the group of mercenaries still lost in their fantasies. After Qin Feng

had vented his anger, besides a stunned Catherine, there wasn't a single intact person left on the riverbank.

Severed limbs, blood, and entrails stained the riverbank red, and the stench was enough to make anyone want to vomit.

"You're not allowed to act like that in front of other men again!" Qin Feng said coldly before walking away, leaving Catherine blushing, her face flushed with a mixture of anger, shyness, and sweetness as she watched Qin Feng's retreating figure. She stomped her foot and chased after him.

Since the attack on the riverbank, Qin Feng's Catherine had been constantly harassed and attacked by mercenaries and assassins. Initially, Qin Feng and his companion showed mercy, merely incapacitating their attackers before letting them go. However, as time went on, the number of attackers and harassers increased. Moreover, these people seemed to have figured out Qin Feng and Catherine's reluctance to kill indiscriminately, becoming increasingly ruthless and using a variety of methods, including traps and poison. Provoked,

Qin Feng's Catherine immediately went on a killing spree, indiscriminately killing anyone who entered their perimeter. In a short time, Mount Aldons was almost stained red with blood. While it wasn't exactly a mountain of corpses or a river of blood, the roadsides along which Qin Feng and Catherine passed were lined with all sorts of bodies.

Although Qin Feng and Catherine's actions deterred some timid individuals, the enormous bounty only fueled the fervor of those who harbored a侥幸心理 (a gambler's mentality). Especially under the Vatican's covert and distorted propaganda, Qin Feng had been portrayed as a ruthless demon (I, too, believe so, Whiteyun). Consequently, many self-proclaimed righteous people flocked to Mount Aldons, attempting to eliminate this demon who had kidnapped a beautiful woman.

"Qin Feng, do you think what we're doing is right?" After dealing with another mercenary group's ambush, Catherine, who had just been filled with murderous intent, leaned wearily against a tree and asked Qin Feng.

"There's no right or wrong, we're just trying to survive," Qin Feng said calmly, not at all bothered by his recent feat of killing seventeen people.

The two fell into silence again.

After a long silence, Qin Feng broke the silence, saying, "Catherine, tell me about Annie again. I've forgotten everything from before. Now, besides you and Master Hardman, I can't remember anyone else. Annie's name sounds so familiar, like it's so important to me, but why can't I remember her? Tell me about her, okay?"

"Oh, Annie is a fox spirit from the beast race..." Catherine patiently repeated to Qin Feng the scene of her meeting with Annie for what seemed like the umpteenth time.

Since realizing he had been tricked into taking the Spirit-Destroying Pill, Qin Feng had become much more silent. Many times, he would sit alone, trying hard to recall the past, even though he could never quite remember. But he persisted. At other times, he would pull Catherine aside and ask her to repeat the events of their meeting.

Repeating something, especially something that had been repeated countless times, was extremely tedious, but Catherine showed no reluctance. Instead, she felt more sorrow and pity for Qin Feng, and even a hint of jealousy towards Annie.

Each time Catherine finished telling him about Annie, a faint smile and satisfaction would appear on Qin Feng's usually cold face.

"Qin Feng, will you still remember me in the future?" Catherine asked, blushing.

"The future? I don't know. Didn't you say that after being poisoned by the Spirit-Destroying Pill, you wouldn't even remember who you were?" Qin Feng said, his expression somewhat downcast.

"That's true." Catherine's face paled slightly, and she said softly.

"If I remember myself, then I will remember you. If I can't even remember myself, then what's the use of remembering you?" Qin Feng said with a forlorn expression.

Catherine tilted her head, looking at Qin Feng's slightly forlorn face, a pang of sadness rising in her heart. *Fool, even if you don't remember yourself in the future, I will help you remember yourself.

* The night was cool and still.

The stars in the sky were obscured by dark clouds, and a chilling wind howled through the air. The forest was dimly lit, with only the occasional lonely chirping of autumn insects.

Qin Feng and Catherine were resting nestled against a branch of a large tree when suddenly, a warning arose in Catherine's heart as she was still cultivating her battle qi. Instinctively, she grabbed Qin Feng and leaped towards the ground.

A sudden twang of a bowstring rang out in mid-air, a gust of wind hitting her face. Catherine had no time to think, plummeting to one side. Less than half a foot from the ground, a gleaming rapier suddenly emerged, aimed straight at her foot.

This was clearly a meticulously planned assassination; the enemy had calculated every possible escape route for Catherine. Worst of all, Catherine had already used all her strength to accelerate in mid-air, leaving her no strength to leap away from the suddenly appearing blade. And the rapier was aimed precisely at the sole of her foot, her most vulnerable point.

Catherine gritted her teeth, channeling all her battle qi into her feet, and stomped down, intending to meet the sword head-on.

Just as they were about to collide, Catherine suddenly felt her waist tighten, and then she was thrown several feet to the side. Turning her head, she saw Qin Feng with a solemn expression.

"Who goes there?" Qin Feng looked around and shouted.

"Gah... This little brat is quite alert... Tsk tsk... This little girl is even more tender and delicate... Gah..." A voice that made one's teeth ache came from all directions, echoing through the forest.

"Is it the necromancer?" Catherine, whose waist was held by Qin Feng, turned pale after hearing that voice.

"Gah... I didn't expect that five thousand years... today... there would still be people who remember us... This little girl is quite knowledgeable... and her strength is not bad... reaching the Sword Emperor level... Hmm... Then I will transform you into the leader of my Undead Knights... Gah..." The necromancer's voice that made one's teeth ache continued to echo from all directions.

Necromancers, a mysterious profession, are said to be people who live to be a hundred or even a thousand years old. Coupled with their extremely unpredictable attacks, they became one of the most sought-after professions for a time.

However, some of their practices (such as using corpses for research) conflicted with certain doctrines of the Holy See. Five thousand years ago, the Holy See waged a holy war against the undead race. The details of the battle have been lost to the dust of history, but since then, no necromancer has appeared on the continent.

"What's a necromancer?" Qin Feng turned to Catherine, puzzled.

"Uh... a necromancer is a very powerful profession." Catherine couldn't explain immediately and could only give a vague answer.

"Heh heh... young man... I think you're quite good... how about I transform you into a lich?... What do you think..." The necromancer's voice came again.

"What I want most right now... is for you to die." Qin Feng turned his head and said expressionlessly. With that, the magic wand appeared in his hand, unleashing a barrage of level four or five area-of-effect spells, utterly devastating the surrounding forest and scattering dead leaves everywhere.

"Clatter... Inside my Death Canopy... all other elemental energies... will be absorbed by me... Little one... release a few more... clatter..." The necromancer's voice carried through the swirling dust.

"What do we do?" Catherine asked Qin Feng anxiously.

"Do you trust me?" Qin Feng asked, opening his eyes after a moment's thought.

"Yes!" Catherine nodded after a brief pause.

"Then, count to ten, and watch me break his trick." Qin Feng said confidently to Catherine.

"Really?"

"Why don't you try and see!"

"Okay! One..." Catherine obediently began counting.

Qin Feng smiled calmly, his magic wand transforming into the demonic sword Tiger Soul. The moment Tiger Soul appeared, the surrounding necromantic energy seemed to lose all control, rapidly converging towards it.

The Tiger Soul Blade, like a giant vortex, frantically devoured the gathering dark energy. As it absorbed more and more energy, the blade grew increasingly bright, giving the impression that it was coming to life.

Chapter 115 Nine Li Bloodline

The Tiger Soul Blade in Qin Feng's hand suddenly broke free and floated into the air, frantically absorbing the necromantic energy around it, commonly known as death energy. The crimson blade seemed to flow with blood, and the ferocious tiger head on the calyx seemed to come alive. The overwhelming evil energy and boundless resentment crushed everything within a ten-foot radius.

"What...what is this...why...is it absorbing my energy..." The necromancer's voice was filled with terror.

Qin Feng stared motionlessly at the eerily powerful Tiger Soul Blade in mid-air, seemingly oblivious to everything around him, his eyes fixed solely on the Tiger Soul Blade.

Suddenly, the Tiger Soul Blade pierced towards a direction in the forest, instantly withering and turning everything in its path to ashes.

"Ahhh~~~" A necromancer's scream echoed through the night sky. The Tiger Soul Blade was seen diagonally embedded in a tall object, wisps of black energy spreading upwards from its tip before being completely absorbed by the blood-red horse's body. The surrounding deathly aura surged towards the Tiger Soul Blade like a tide.

Finally, the Tiger Soul Blade's red light diminished considerably. As if satiated, it soared into the air, letting out a deafening roar. This roar was like an invisible blade forcefully cleaving open the gloomy sky, its domineering aura unleashing a massive surge of energy that ravaged the trees in the forest. However, the rampaging energy seemed to be blocked by something when it encountered Qin Feng, unable to advance any further.

After the earth-shattering roar subsided, the entire forest, except for the trees within a ten-foot radius of where Qin Feng stood, was completely shredded, leaving a layer of ash on the ground.

The red light on the Tiger Soul Blade faded, revealing its true form. The blade, originally four feet four inches long, was now nearly six feet long, its color having changed from dark red to blood red. The tiger head on the calyx had doubled in size, exuding a fierce and savage aura.

What surprised Qin Feng most was that the Tiger Soul seemed to have gained life after absorbing the necromancer's death energy, emanating waves of spiritual energy from its body. Qin Feng only noticed this because his heightened sensitivity to spiritual energy, a result of cultivating the Heaven-Shattering Earth-Shattering Technique , made him exceptionally sensitive to it.

Qin Feng tried releasing a wisp of spiritual energy into the Tiger Soul Demon Blade. The moment he touched the blade, he felt as if he were trapped in a giant red vortex. Before he could react, the scenery changed. He found himself on a steep cliff.

Even more astonishing, the bottom of the cliff was densely packed with people, divided into two distinct camps: black and yellow. The group on the left, predominantly yellow, was led by a handsome middle-aged man in yellow robes. His complexion was ruddy, his midsection full, and three wisps of black beard added to his mature charm. Behind him was an army composed of powerful warriors from various races.

Opposite the yellow camp was the black camp. Compared to the yellow camp's diverse forces, the black camp appeared monotonous and uniform, composed entirely of nine-foot-tall giants clad in identical black armor, wielding large axes.

The leader of the black camp was a black giant nearly twelve feet tall, with two enormous horns on his head. He possessed a bronze head and iron arms, wielding a nearly six-foot-long, blood-red sword remarkably similar to a tiger's soul blade. He rode a giant tiger over two zhang tall and seven zhang long, with black and white striped eyes, a white forehead, and long, sharp fangs protruding from its upper jaw, its blood-red eyes radiating arrogance and ferocity.

Just as Qin Feng was about to carefully observe the formation below, the battle between the two camps erupted at the foot of the cliff.

The black camp, as the main attackers, disregarded formations and strategies, charging directly at the yellow camp under the leadership of their commander, the giant in black armor. Lacking any marching skills, they relied solely on their innate ferocity and brute force to tear through the yellow camp's carefully laid defenses.

The black commander, riding a giant tiger, was particularly formidable, leaving no one in his path unscathed, his blood-red blade cutting through the yellow camp, causing chaos and destruction.

At this moment, the yellow camp's commander, a middle-aged man in yellow robes, also rode a dragon-horse, wielding a four-foot-long sword to meet the black commander. The sword's belly was engraved with the twenty-eight constellations, one side with the sun, moon, and stars, the other with mountains, rivers, and vegetation. One side of the hilt was inscribed with agricultural and animal husbandry techniques, the other with strategies for unifying the world; its cold gleam seemed otherworldly.

The middle-aged man in yellow blocked the giant in black armor's blade. It was merely a horse, yet the price was a splitting jaw, the dragon-horse nearly kneeling under the immense force.

Knowing he was outmatched, the middle-aged man in yellow immediately turned his horse around and fled. But

the giant in black armor wouldn't let him escape. He spurred his white tiger, abandoning his men, and chased after the middle-aged man in yellow. The middle-aged man fled in panic, the giant in black armor in pursuit. The chase gradually faded from the battlefield.

Just as the giant in black armor was about to catch up, suddenly a great drumbeat resounded, and an allied army of warriors of different races surged forth from all directions, a dark mass of no less than ten thousand.

Seeing no fear, the giant in black armor spurred his white tiger and charged towards the allied army.

Although the allied army outnumbered them, the giant in black armor was simply too powerful; they couldn't stop him in the slightest. It seemed the giant in black armor was about to slaughter all the allied soldiers.

Suddenly, a golden dragon with wings flew out from the east, biting the black-armored giant's left hand and lifting him off its back. Then, strangely shaped figures flew out from the west, south, and north, respectively restraining the black-armored giant's left hand, left leg, and right leg.

The black-armored giant struggled in mid-air, seemingly about to break free, when the middle-aged man in yellow suddenly swung his longsword, severing the giant's head.

Seeing its master in distress, the white tiger was filled with grief and rage, attempting to self-destruct and perish with its enemies, but was stopped by the combined efforts of the five figures. The immense force tore through space, and the white tiger's soul was sucked into the darkness by the blood-red longsword.

Qin Feng hadn't yet recovered from the shocking scene before him when the scene shifted, and he found himself in a blood-red world—or rather, a world stained crimson. The mountains, water, trees, grass, even the sky, were all blood-red, an endless aura of death and resentment permeating the entire world.

This blood-red world seemed endless. Qin Feng didn't know how long he had walked before finally seeing two different colors: white and black. The black figure was none other than the black-armored giant who had been beheaded in the battle earlier; he now sat unharmed on the ground, seemingly asleep.

The white figure was the giant tiger that had sacrificed itself for its master. It lay at the giant's legs, its entire being radiating a profound sense of longing.

"You've come..." a powerful yet sorrowful voice echoed in Qin Feng's mind.

"You are..." Qin Feng hesitated, looking at the lying white tiger.

"I am Tiger Soul. Or perhaps it's more accurate to say I am Tiger Soul's soul," the white tiger raised its head, looking at Qin Feng.

“It’s like this, I think you’ve also sensed it, there seems to be a special connection between you and my master. So, I wanted to ask you to see if it’s true.” The White Tiger stood up and walked to Qin Feng’s side.

“How can you prove your theory?”

“Drip a drop of blood onto him and see.” The White Tiger’s large head approached Qin Feng.

Without a word, Qin Feng bit his finger and dripped the blood onto the black-armored giant. Instantly, a burst of blood-red light flashed from the black-armored giant’s body, and the giant’s body instantly disintegrated into countless tiny particles, rapidly merging into Qin Feng’s body.

“Nine Li bloodline? It really is the Nine Li bloodline? How is that possible? How could the Nine Li bloodline exist in this world?” The White Tiger murmured in disbelief, watching what was happening before him.

“Could I have misunderstood my master’s meaning? Bloodline doesn’t refer to the bloodline in the body. It’s the mark on the life imprint?”

Qin Feng felt a tremendous surge of energy rushing into his body, quickly exceeding his physical limits. Yet, the energy continued its relentless onslaught, relentlessly pouring into him.

Pain, excruciating pain—Qin Feng felt every cell in his body being torn apart, only to be replaced by new cells, then torn apart again, and so on… This endless cycle nearly caused him to faint. But a strange, pleasurable sensation suddenly surged through him, preventing Qin Feng from fainting. The alternating sensations of pain and pleasure assaulted his senses. In his hazy state, he heard the White Tiger's voice—

"Eh, bird-man's mental restraint? The kind that destroys the soul? Tch, having met my Tiger God today, I won't let you succeed! Fine, you got off easy, kid. Sigh, I've completed my master's mission, but the energy I painstakingly accumulated is about to run out again. When will I ever be able to get out of here…?"

Finally, Qin Feng regained consciousness, feeling a warm sensation throughout his body. Just as he was about to stretch, he suddenly felt something heavy pressing down on his feet.

Looking closely, he saw Catherine asleep at his feet. Her delicate eyebrows were slightly furrowed, her small nose was wrinkled, her red lips were tightly pursed, and tear stains still clung to the corners of her eyes, as if she had encountered something troublesome in her dream.

Qin Feng and Catherine had been fleeing in the mountains for over a month, yet they had never seen her so childlike. A mischievous thought arose in their minds.

Just as Qin Feng was about to gently pinch Catherine's small hand and nose, he heard her softly whispering something in her sleep. Listening closely, he heard—

"Feng...don't forget me...please don't forget me..."

Qin Feng's heart trembled. He gently embraced Catherine and tenderly kissed away the tears from the corners of her eyes.

My dear, even if I forget myself, I will always remember you.

Chapter 116 Taking You to Set Off Fireworks

Qin Feng held Catherine, a thought stirring within him. Remembering the xxx he had vaguely seen earlier, he couldn't resist taking out the Tiger Soul from his spatial bag. However, he discovered that the Tiger Soul, which had been shimmering with blood-red light and possessed an eerie beauty yesterday, now seemed to have recovered from a serious illness, becoming dull and lifeless. If it weren't for the faint trace of spiritual energy fluctuations that Qin Feng was familiar with, he would have thought he had taken the wrong thing.

Catherine stirred slightly in his arms. Qin Feng looked down and saw that the beauty in his arms was still asleep, but the blush that ran down to her neck, her accelerated heartbeat, and her flaring nostrils all betrayed the fact that she was awake.

"Little girl, do you know that you are very similar to an animal?" Qin Feng pinched Catherine's little nose and asked with a smile.

"What animal?" Unaware of the trick, Catherine opened her eyes and asked Qin Feng, only to see his teasing eyes.

"It's a bird that lives in the Casata Desert, called an ostrich. When they encounter predators, they like to bury their heads in the sand, leaving their whole bodies exposed. This way, they naturally assume that because they can't see others, others can't see them either." Qin Feng stroked Catherine's face and whispered.

“That ostrich is so stupid, how could it…” Catherine was about to say something more when she looked up and saw Qin Feng’s teasing gaze. Remembering what she had just said, she let out a soft “Eek!” and snuggled into Qin Feng’s arms, refusing to let go, which made Qin Feng burst into laughter.

“Once we cross that mountain, we’ll reach the territory of Til. Feng, do you think we can really get back to Vermilion Bird City that way?” Catherine asked Qin Feng, pointing to a distant mountain.

“It should be possible. Judging from your analysis, if that Qin King is trying to encircle us, his encirclement line in the west must have loosened somewhat. Besides, for the past few months we’ve been spreading rumors of heading north; they would never expect us to secretly turn back,” Qin Feng said confidently to Catherine.

“You’ve suffered,” Qin Feng said, looking at Catherine, who was dressed in animal skins and possessed a wild, untamed air.

"Xixi, I don't find it bitter at all. It's quite fun, much more fun than leading troops into battle, and I can be with you..." Catherine's voice trailed off, her emerald eyes flashing with a captivating allure.

Women in love often become quite foolish, even Catherine, the usually aloof female general, was no exception.

"Feng, it's getting dark, we need to find a good place to rest quickly," Catherine said, looking at the darkening sky.

"Hmm, I heard the sound of flowing water ahead. It's probably a pond, let's spend the night there," Qin Feng nodded.

A clear pond. Rippling blue water.

After eating the meat Qin Feng had grilled, Qin Feng and Catherine nestled together on the grass, gazing at the stars and whispering sweet nothings.

"Feng, you know, because I'm the eldest daughter in my family, I've been subjected to the strictest training since I was little. I've never played like other kids my age, especially during holidays when I see others setting off fireworks. I'm so envious! It's a pity I've never set one off before," Catherine said, nestled in Qin Feng's arms, her voice tinged with sadness.

"It's just fireworks, what's so hard about that? Silly girl, if you want to set them off, I'll take you," Qin Feng said, gently pinching Catherine's nose.

"Really?" A look of surprise flashed in Catherine's eyes as she couldn't help but ask.

"When have I ever lied to you?" Qin Feng smiled mysteriously.

"Yay! Come on, come on, take me there quickly!" Catherine immediately stood up, pulling Qin Feng along, shaking his arm and pleading.

Women in love often have an inexplicable trust and dependence on their men, no matter how capable they were before.

Qin Feng led Catherine to the edge of the pool, gently sat her down, and asked, "Little girl, what color fireworks do you want to see?"

"Me? I like red the most, but there's only one color of fireworks. What color fireworks do you want to see?"

"Me? I like red the most, but one color of fireworks is too flashy, so multicolored fireworks are prettier." Catherine tilted her head and thought for a moment before replying.

"Me? I like red the most, but one color of fireworks is too monotonous, so multicolored fireworks are prettier." Catherine tilted her head and thought for a moment before replying.

"Then. Watch closely!" Qin Feng smiled slightly, and without any visible movement, a fiery red magic ball flew into the air, standing out prominently against the clear starry sky.

"Wow!" Catherine exclaimed in surprise. Before her voice could even fade, a light blue magic ball chased after it, colliding violently with the red one in mid-air with a loud "bang!" before shattering into pieces, leaving a trail of interwoven red and blue in the air.

"So beautiful!" Catherine clapped her hands vigorously like a little girl.

Then, countless magic balls of various colors—earthy yellow, emerald green, deep purple, milky white—flew into the air, colliding and bursting into a riot of colors.

As if intentionally trying to shock Catherine, Qin Feng waved the magic wand he had taken from his spatial bag. Suddenly, a fireball of [redacted] appeared in mid-air, hurtling towards Qin Feng and Catherine like a meteor—it was the [redacted] type attack magic, Meteor Shower.

Catherine's expression changed, and she grabbed Qin Feng to try to get away, but then she saw Qin Feng give her a comforting look, which calmed her down a lot. However, she took a few steps forward and intentionally or unintentionally blocked Qin Feng's way, which touched Qin Feng's heart.

Just as the meteor shower was about to hit them, and even Catherine could sense the active fire magic elements within it, a light blue curtain, shimmering with a soft halo, appeared above Qin Feng and Catherine. Catherine recognized this magic; it was the level six water-based defensive spell, Water Curtain of Heaven.

Although the light blue curtain was only thin, it firmly protected Qin Feng and Catherine, blocking the meteor shower from three feet above them.

The meteor shower struck the water curtain like raindrops hitting a pond, creating splashes of blue and red. The crackling sounds from the violent collision of the fire and water elements were like firecrackers during a festival, so loud they hurt the ears, before both were annihilated in mid-air.

"Feng, I feel like we were just like that curtain of water and rain of fire, colliding fiercely, bursting forth with the most dazzling sparks, and finally annihilating together in the wind..." Catherine gently stroked Qin Feng's hand with her cheek.

"Are you scared?" Qin Feng smiled and asked, touching Catherine's soft cheek, but a deep sorrow lingered

in his eyes. "I'm scared... I'm scared you'll forget me... I've gotten used to having you by my side! I can't imagine life without you..." Catherine hugged Qin Feng tightly around the waist, hot tears streaming down her face like broken pearls, soaking Qin Feng's clothes.

"Silly girl, I'm right here with you, why are you scaring yourself? I can't remember anything from before, all I can remember now is you and me..." Qin Feng embraced Catherine tightly, as if trying to merge her into his heart, and gently kissed her smooth forehead.

"Feng, please don't leave me, okay? I can't cook, I can't do laundry, and I don't know any needlework or anything like that. But I'll learn, believe me, I'll learn quickly. Don't leave me, okay?" Catherine looked up at Qin Feng pitifully, pleading, showing none of the composed and heroic female general she was on the battlefield.

"Hehe, is this still the Catherine I know? Is this still the princess of the Phoenix family who kills without even flinching?" Qin Feng jokingly pinched Catherine's little nose, teasing her.

"You... I'm serious, how can you..." Annoyed by the teasing, Catherine broke free from Qin Feng and was about to turn around when she was suddenly embraced tightly. Then, a pair of moist lips, with a domineering air, kissed her lips without allowing her to resist, forcing her to swallow her unfinished words along with the sweet saliva in her mouth.

After an unknown amount of time, when the moon mischievously peeked out from behind the clouds once more, the lovesick couple by the pool finally parted reluctantly.

"Feng..." Catherine leaned against Qin Feng, gasping for fresh air, her face flushed as if painted with rouge, her eyes misty as she murmured his name.

Qin Feng held Catherine close, using the angle of his gaze so she couldn't see his eyes, a cold tear sliding down his cheek.

*Girl, if there is an afterlife, I will never again be poisoned by that Spirit-Destroying Pill, I will definitely protect you well.

* Suddenly, Qin Feng, holding Catherine, stiffened abruptly, then returned to normal. Catherine, holding him close, noticed this subtle movement.

"What's wrong, Feng?"

"Nothing, it's just too windy here. Let's go back and rest."

Chapter 117: A Deadly Battle with the Sword God

. Inside the cave, Qin Feng found a temporary place to spend the night. Looking at Catherine sleeping peacefully, he couldn't help but reach out and smooth her slightly disheveled hair. Just as he was about to get up, he heard Catherine softly murmur beside him, "Feng...don't leave me..."

Qin Feng turned his head, carefully examined Catherine, and then gave her a deep kiss on the forehead. He took off his Seven-Colored Divine Armor and placed it beside Catherine. With a resolute heart, he turned and walked away without looking back, completely unaware of the tears sliding down Catherine's cheeks.

Holding his magic staff, Qin Feng used the levitation array on it to fly swiftly forward, stopping only when he reached an open area dozens of miles away from the cave where Catherine was.

Qin Feng silently focused his mind, using the Heaven-Shattering Earth-Shattering Technique to control a wisp of spiritual energy to scan a hundred-mile radius. Since waking up in the Tiger Soul Illusion, Qin Feng discovered that although his meridians hadn't fully recovered, his Chaotic Demon Body Technique had suddenly broken through to the sixth level, increasing his physical hardness hundreds of times. Qin Feng even had a feeling that his body was evolving, its hardness continuously increasing, as if a mysterious force was constantly helping him.

Another change was that his mental strength had increased hundreds of times; the Heaven-Shattering Earth-Shattering Technique had actually reached the bottleneck of the eighth level, showing faint signs of breaking through to the ninth level. The direct benefit of this was that his mental search range had increased hundreds of times. Previously, he could only search a range of half a hundred miles, but now he could search a range of a hundred miles.

Just now, in front of the pool, Qin Feng sensed an extremely strong mental fluctuation flying towards them. The strength of that mental fluctuation was second only to Emperor Meng Shiru among all the powerful figures Qin Feng had ever seen. That's why Qin Feng had put Catherine to sleep and then ran out alone, luring that peerless expert over.

Finally, a dark shadow, swift as the wind, chased the dark clouds in the sky, sweeping across the heavens at a speed imperceptible to ordinary people, landing in front of Qin Feng with a "whoosh," like a night owl.

An aura of authority emanated from the shadow, accompanied by a pressing mental pressure.

Qin Feng naturally activated his Heaven-Shattering Earth-Shattering Technique to meet the attack, and the two invisible energies collided in mid-air, producing a tremendous, silent tremor.

Qin Feng felt nothing more than a mental shock. The person opposite him, however, was utterly astonished!

As a god-level expert, their most lethal attack method, surpassing that of a saint-level expert, was mental attack. Only by crossing the threshold of godhood could one comprehend the mysteries of mental energy cultivation; the strength of a god-level expert's mental energy was the measure of their cultivation level.

That attack, though seemingly ordinary, was exceptionally dangerous. If Qin Feng hadn't handled things well, the consequences wouldn't have been as simple as just becoming an idiot.

"I already overestimated you, but I still underestimated you." A voice, indistinctly male or female, drifted to Qin Feng's ears on the night breeze.

"It seems you've completely overturned the history of the continent for tens of thousands of years—the youngest Sword Emperor, the youngest Saint-level, the youngest God-level in the future, perhaps even reaching the legendary realm above God-level." Before Qin Feng could even react, the shadowy figure's second sentence rang out.

"Perhaps. But it seems you didn't come here just to tell me this, esteemed Sword God?" Qin Feng's face remained expressionless, as if the words hadn't come from him.

"Heh... old people talk too much, and then they reveal their flaws, heh... let's get down to business, one request. Come with me." The shadowy figure chuckled.

"Why?" Qin Feng asked with a cold smile.

"With your current strength, you can't withstand even one of my moves. Although you're a Saint-level expert, and of course you're not convinced, let's put it another way: even if you could withstand a few of my moves, could you defeat me? And think about your little lover." The shadowy voice drifted over slowly.

"Then you take one of my moves. If you can, you can leave, how about that?" Qin Feng stared intently at the shadowy figure before him, whose form was indistinguishable between reality and illusion.

"Although I know you're using a provocation tactic, I still accept your challenge. Heh, you won't understand the difference between God-level and Saint-level until you've experienced it firsthand." The shadowy voice continued to drift over leisurely.

Qin Feng took out the God-Slaying Bow from his spatial bag. Instantly, an aura that shook the heavens and earth emanated from the dark, solid bow.

"A super artifact? How is that possible? How can a Saint-level being wield a super artifact?" the shadowy figure exclaimed incredulously.

Qin Feng didn't reply. With a flick of his wrist, he drew the bow, locking onto a spot about ten feet around the shadowy figure. Using the Heaven-Shattering Earth-Shattering Technique, he channeled a portion of his spiritual energy into a spiritual arrow, aiming it at his opponent.

Qin Feng seemed to have forgotten everything, ignoring everything. His eyes were fixed solely on the bow and the distant enemy. A gigantic phantom, nine feet tall, appeared behind Qin Feng. Its imposing figure, dragon-like muscles, and unwavering gaze mirrored Qin Feng's movements as it drew the bow. An aura capable of splitting the heavens and earth emanated from the phantom.

Under the oppressive aura, the blurry black shadow finally revealed its true form: a burly old man with white hair and beard, and a ruddy complexion, wielding a sheathless, two-handed silver greatsword.

The old man had lost all his initial composure and calmness; sweating profusely, he stared at the God-Slaying Sword in Qin Feng's hand, his eyes filled with genuine fear.

Suddenly, Qin Feng slowly drew his bow and said, "Sword God, how about I win this round? According to our previous agreement, you must leave."

The man who had escaped death didn't speak, and vanished before Qin Feng's eyes.

Seeing the old man leave, Qin Feng didn't have time to use his spiritual power to check on him. He couldn't suppress the urge to cough up blood; the forced activation of the seventh level of the Sun-Avoiding Roar Technique, while successfully scaring away the Sword God, had also aggravated his internal injuries.

"Haha~~ Luckily I didn't leave immediately, otherwise you would have tricked me." A hateful voice reached Qin Feng's ears. With a "whoosh," the old man with the strength of a sword god who had hurriedly fled earlier reappeared before Qin Feng.

"Pfft~~" Qin Feng panicked and spat out another mouthful of blood, trying to forcefully draw the God-Slaying Bow again.

Seeing Qin Feng's reaction, the old man didn't make any big moves, but a sharp sword aura rushed straight towards Qin Feng's right hand holding the bow. After hearing a sound of metal clashing, Qin Feng actually managed to block the sword aura with the hardness of his body.

"How is this possible?" The old man looked at Qin Feng in disbelief. Taking advantage of the old man's momentary daze, Qin Feng drew the God-Slaying Bow again. However, due to his previous injuries, every time he drew it a little, a mouthful of blood spurted from his mouth. When Qin Feng drew the God-Slaying Bow to seven-tenths of its full length, he only felt a dizziness, his taut nerves lost control, and the bowstring in his hand loosened.

Hearing a scream, Qin Feng bit his lower lip hard. The intense pain brought him back to his senses, though he was somewhat unconscious from blood loss. He turned and ran.

Qin Feng felt his legs growing heavier, his head growing heavier, and his consciousness fading. He seemed about to pass out, but he stubbornly held on. Finally, after what felt like an eternity, when he felt all his strength was exhausted and he could run no more, he suddenly felt his feet give way, and he plummeted downwards. He seemed to enter a cold world, and then he drifted off to sleep.

When Qin Feng groggily awoke, he found his head throbbing. It felt as if he were the only person in the world. Deep in his memory, he vaguely remembered a tall, blonde, blue-eyed woman and a silver-haired, blue-eyed girl with a tail, but he couldn't remember their names.

Just then, a "creak~~" sound drew Qin Feng's attention. A little girl, as cute as a porcelain doll, pushed open the door and timidly peeked out. Seeing Qin Feng awake, she skipped and hopped to him, her adorable eyes wide as she looked at him, saying, "Big brother, you're really awake! Miss... Miss said you should wake up, and you actually did! Hehe..."

"Who are you...?" Qin Feng asked, looking at the cute little girl.

"Us? We're your saviors! Do you know, if we hadn't saved you when you fell into the water, you would have frozen to death!" The little girl said to Qin Feng with an air of gratitude, as if she were his savior.

"Hehe, thank you so much!" Qin Feng smiled sincerely.

"Xixi, by the way, your clothes are all ruined. Hurry up and change, let's go see Miss. I'll wait for you outside!" The little girl pointed to the pile of clothes on Qin Feng's bedside table.

"Okay, sure."

After Qin Feng changed into his new clothes, the little girl's eyes lit up as he stepped out. "You're so handsome! You're comparable to Duke Cameron, the eldest son of Duke Tulip."

Without waiting for Qin Feng's response, she giggled and ran ahead to lead the way.

Qin Feng followed the little girl, carefully observing his surroundings, and realized he was actually on a ship! The entire ship was elegantly decorated, every item perfectly placed, clearly meticulously designed. To live on such a luxurious ship, the "Miss" the little girl spoke of was obviously a person of great wealth and status.

Chapter 118 Princess Helen

Qin Feng followed the little girl through several turns, finally arriving at a large hall. The hall was predominantly white, with minimal ornamentation, appearing simple yet luxurious.

By the window, a woman dressed in white stood with her back to Qin Feng, seemingly admiring the view outside. Even from her back, one could sense an extraordinary air of nobility.

“Princess…” The little girl had barely begun to speak when the woman in white by the window turned around, giving the girl a reproachful look before interrupting her, “Alice, pour the guest a cup of tea.”

“Oh.” The little girl pouted, secretly wrinkling her nose at Qin Feng, and turned to attend to the request.

Qin Feng himself observed the woman before him, who exuded a refined air. Her appearance might not be outstanding, perhaps even less striking than Catherine's, but her eyes almost bewitched Qin Feng, like two stars in the night, sparkling with the light of wisdom.

If the fairy princess Evelya's temperament was willful, Aini's was alluring, and Catherine's was heroic and elegant, then the woman before him possessed a wisdom as deep as the ocean, so profound that one dared not defile her.

"May I ask how this gentleman is addressed?" The woman in white, noticing Qin Feng's rude scrutiny, flashed a hint of displeasure in her eyes before asking.

"My name is Qin Feng," Qin Feng replied without hesitation.

"Qin Feng?" The woman in white's expression changed slightly. 'Qin Feng' was currently the most popular name on the continent. The Holy See and the Great Qin jointly offered a bounty of 1 million amethyst coins for his head. It was said he was nearly ten feet tall, ruthless, and merciless, especially fond of cruelly harming women. Catherine Phoenix, the eldest daughter of the Phoenix family, was kidnapped by him and her whereabouts remained unknown.

"Are you really Qin Feng?" the woman in white asked again to confirm.

"Yes, I am. I am also the ninth prince of the Great Qin," Qin Feng replied, looking up in surprise.

With a loud crash, the little girl who had brought the teacup looked at Qin Feng with fear as the teacup fell to the ground and shattered.

"Alice, what's wrong? Hurry up and clean this up!" The woman in white frowned slightly, a hint of anxiety flashing in her eyes.

"Oh, okay. I'll go right now." The little girl hurriedly picked up the shards, oblivious to the fact that she had cut her finger, and left the hall.

The woman in white secretly breathed a sigh of relief, then looked at the puzzled Qin Feng and asked calmly, "You mean you look like...?"

"Yes. My head feels like a paste, all sticky and muddy. I can't remember many things, not even everyone's names, except for my own," Qin Feng said, rubbing his aching head.

The woman in white looked at Qin Feng with a complex expression and asked, "You really don't remember anything, only your own name?"

"Yes, I don't know why, but every time I faint, I forget something very important. This seems to be the fourth time," Qin Feng replied with a hint of melancholy. "Spirit

-Extinguishing Pill?" The woman in white seemed to remember something and blurted it out, then covered her mouth with her hand. She looked at Qin Feng with pity. "Spirit-Extinguishing Pill?

That name sounds familiar, but I just can't remember it," Qin Feng muttered, looking down at the woman in white with a wry smile.

A clear voice rang out—

"Your Highness, Chief Guard Luo Ke requests an audience."

"Your Highness?" Qin Feng asked, looking at the woman in white with a puzzled expression.

Nodding helplessly, the ant-like woman bowed to Qin Feng and said, "Princess Helen Auguro Monarivich, the Ninth

Princess of Fatil." Qin Feng quickly stood up and returned the bow, saying, "Um, well... I don't know if I'm really the Ninth Prince of Qin, but the only thing I'm sure of is that my name is Qin Feng..."

"Why don't you hide behind the screen for a bit?" Princess Helen said to Qin Feng.

"Why?" Qin Feng asked Helen, puzzled.

"Well, it's inconvenient for you to see him. So..." Princess Helen explained, inwardly scolding Qin Feng. If it weren't for the fact that you killed someone's own brother and are now wanted by the entire continent, would I need to go through all this trouble?

"Oh." Qin Feng didn't say anything more and followed Princess Helen's instructions, hiding behind the screen at the back of the hall.

"Captain Rock, please come in," Princess Helen called out after seeing Qin Feng.

The hall door opened. Then a handsome knight in gleaming silver armor entered, gave Princess Helen a respectful courtly salute, and asked, "Your Highness, how is the boy we rescued two days ago?"

Princess Helen brushed a stray strand of hair from her forehead and replied to Captain Rock, "He's awake. He ate something and went back to rest. What is it, Captain Rock?"

"Oh, I didn't mean anything by it, just concerned. Oh, by the way, Your Highness, look at this little gift I got for you, I wonder if you'll like it?" Captain Rock said, taking out a pearl necklace from behind his back and presenting it to Helen.

While not of the highest quality, the pearls were certainly not ordinary. Thirty-six milky-white, longan-sized pearls were strung together seamlessly with platinum lotus seeds, the entire necklace radiating a soft, subtle glow.

"Thank you, Captain Rock, but I cannot accept your gift," Princess Helen said, not giving the necklace a second glance.

“Why, Your Highness? This is just a small token of my appreciation.” Captain Locke presented the necklace to Princess Helen, its smooth pearls gleaming alluringly.

“I’m sorry, Captain Locke, your gift is too much. I cannot accept it.” Princess Helen remained unmoved, replying without hesitation.

“Alright, Captain Locke, if you have nothing else to say, you may leave.” Princess Helen coldly dismissed him.

“Helen…Princess…uh…I’ll take my leave then.” Captain Locke wanted to say something, but seeing Princess Helen’s indifference, he couldn’t continue and had to leave. Before departing, he glanced meaningfully at the screen behind where Qin Feng was hiding in the hall before walking out. Princess Helen

watched Captain Locke leave, her brows furrowing slightly. This time, she had used the excuse of a walk to clear her head, but in reality, she wanted to reflect on her current situation. Her father, Emperor Fatil, favored the Tulip Duke’s family too much, even helping Locke, the eldest son of the Tulip Duke, to pursue her.

Take her recent trip out of the palace, for example. She had originally intended to clear her mind and reflect on the situation in Fatil, but unexpectedly, that Rock had persuaded Duke Tulip to suggest to her father that they come along, shamelessly clinging to her—clearly monitoring her every move.

Princess Helen pondered this as she walked towards the screen where Qin Feng was hiding, only to find him gone. A faint sense of disappointment washed over her. She walked to the window, letting the river wind tousle her golden hair, and sighed softly.

In an inconspicuous corner of the deck where Princess Helen was, a dark shadow soared into the sky and disappeared into the distance.

Qin Feng emerged from the water, spitting out the river water, and went ashore. He had taken advantage of a moment when he jumped into the river through the window behind the screen. It took Qin Feng nearly three hours to reach the shore. It wasn't that he didn't want to stay on the boat, but rather that he subconsciously sensed a threat to his life. So, he quietly slipped into the water while Princess Helen and Captain Rock were talking.

Qin Feng glanced around, and suddenly a chilling, milky-white sword of energy slashed towards his neck.

He nimbly rolled to the side, dodging the sword, but a massive, mountain-like hand came hurtling towards him. Seeing he couldn't dodge it, Qin Feng used his hands to protect his chest and abdomen, taking the full force of the blow. A dull thud resounded.

Qin Feng was sent flying several feet, crashing into a tree by the riverbank. He fell to the ground, then scrambled to his feet as if nothing had happened, staring at his attacker.

It was a man dressed in a floor-length black robe, with white hair and beard, and a ferocious expression. He had only one right hand; his left arm hung limply at his sides.

To his right stood a similarly dressed man, but carrying a magic wand and wearing a cloak.

"Boy, didn't expect to see you again so soon! Haha, you shot off my left hand, today I'll chop off all four of your limbs. Heh heh~~" The old man with the severed hand was none other than the Sword God whose left hand Qin Feng had shot off with his God-Slaying Shot a few days ago.

"Aimosius, do as your master says. Go back and ask your master for holy water to help your severed hand grow back. If you dare to use excessive force against him, don't blame me for not warning you when your master is angry!" The black-clad man with the magic wand standing next to the old man with the severed hand abruptly interrupted.

The old man with the severed hand was clearly very wary of the black-clad man with the magic wand, muttering a few words and glaring fiercely at Qin Feng as if he wanted to skin him alive.

Qin Feng's muscles were taut, his eyes fixed on the two mysterious figures before him. Qin Feng seemed to vaguely recognize the old man with the severed hand, but couldn't quite place him.

"Mesokta, be careful. This kid has another super artifact. Otherwise, why would I need your help?" The one-handed old man (Aimus) explained to his companion.

Anyone well-versed in the history of the continent would be startled by their words.

Mesokta, a peerless master from seven thousand years ago, one of the two Archmages in the history of the continent, once single-handedly cast thirteen super forbidden spells, wiping a once-powerful empire off the map overnight.

As for Aimus, although not as terrifying as Mesokta, he was also one of the two great Sword Gods in the history of the continent.

Both of them disappeared for ten years after they reached the god level, but unexpectedly, they appeared here today.

Chapter 119: A Scheme Within a Scheme, Qin Feng Returns

“Your Highness Qin Feng, you should come back with us. You're a smart man; you won't do anything foolish.” Mesokta stepped forward, locking onto Qin Feng's presence.

“There's no way you'll make me surrender.” Qin Feng licked the blood from his lips, staring intently at Mesokta like a wounded wolf, as if trying to see through his every move.

“Then I'm sorry, Your Highness Qin Feng.” Mesokta didn't say anything more, taking a step forward. Without any visible movement or even a spell, a ten-foot-long chasm opened beneath Qin Feng's feet. Fortunately, Qin Feng was prepared. As soon as the crack appeared, he leaped into the air. A levitation array on his magic staff flashed, and he floated in mid-air, dodging Mesokta's first spell.

“Not bad reaction time.” Mesokta didn't continue his attack, instead standing still and approvingly watching Qin Feng.

"An eye for an eye, you take a spell from me too!" Qin Feng shouted in mid-air, brandishing his magic wand. A large number of ice-blue crescent-shaped blades appeared around him, rushing towards Mesokta with his gesture.

A level seven water-based area-of-effect spell—Thousand Blade Assault.

A cold smile appeared on Mesokta's face. More than ten earthen walls appeared along the path of the ice blades. Earthen walls were level five magic, naturally incomparable to the level seven Ice Blade Assault, but they had the advantage in numbers. Each earthen wall intercepted a portion of the ice blades' energy, and by the time they reached Mesokta, they had little energy left, easily blocked by Mesokta's elemental shield.

With a low shout from Mesokta, "Dragon Whirlwind!", a huge dragon whirlwind suddenly formed in mid-air, sweeping away the surrounding trees and flowers towards Qin Feng.

The level eight wind-based quasi-forbidden spell—Dragon Whirlwind—was thus easily unleashed by the Archmage Mesokta.

Before long, Qin Feng had already reached the Saint Rank, and could instantly cast spells below the Forbidden Spell level. Without a second thought, he casually released a level eight dark magic spell—Death Barrier.

A thick, deathly black barrier appeared five feet in front of him at Qin Feng's command, colliding violently with the oncoming dragon whirlwind.

The massive shockwave from the clash of wind and dark magic elements crushed everything in its path—flowers, trees, insects, fish, and beasts.

Qin Feng and Mesokta were now suspended in mid-air, facing each other. Suddenly, Tai Feng lunged forward, throwing a powerful punch at Mesokta.

Qin Feng's action stunned both Mesokta and Amosius. For some reason, or perhaps thousands of years had passed, they had never seen a magician use their fists in a duel. So much so that by the time Qin Feng's fist was about to strike Mesokta's cheek, he hadn't even realized what was happening, and with a 'whoosh,' he vanished right in front of Qin Feng.

Little did he know, Qin Feng was prepared, accurately following behind Mesokta by tracking the magical fluctuations in space. Qin Feng scoffed inwardly, "So you can teleport?

" The moment Mesokta appeared on the river's surface, a large fist emerged from space and slammed into his nose. A 'crack!' followed by a scream of pain, and blood gushed from Mesokta's nostrils.

Then, with a 'plop!', he forgot to maintain his levitation spell due to the pain and fell into the river. A mighty mage, who had reigned supreme on the continent for thousands of years, was thus utterly undignifiedly smashed into the water.

Having gotten the better deal, Qin Feng wasn't about to let Mesokta off so easily. With a "plop," he dove into the water, grabbing the temporarily unharmed Mesokta thanks to his elemental shield, and slamming another punch into his face.

Thanks to the elemental shield, nine-tenths of Qin Feng's punch was neutralized. But even that remaining force was enough for Mesokta. Mesokta was a standard mage, unlike the freakish Qin Feng who was skilled in both magic and martial arts; his body was quite frail. He couldn't withstand Qin Feng's relentless punches, and in just a few blows, his face was bruised and swollen, resembling a pig's head.

Only Qin Feng could probably manage to beat a mage so badly. Just as Qin Feng was enjoying his beating, a sudden, heavy pressure came from above. Forced to dodge, Qin Feng escaped the pressure and immediately used an acceleration spell to dash towards the other side.

Finally free from Qin Feng, Mesokta emerged from the water. With two large bumps on his head, he roared at Amos, who had rushed to his rescue, "Damn it, why are you so late! Are you deliberately trying to make a fool of me! You reckless brute! Good heavens, I'm almost 7,000 years old, and I've been beaten up like this by a little kid! Chase him! I'll skin him alive!"

With that, Mesokta took the lead and chased after Qin Feng in the direction he had fled.

Amos, seeing Mesokta's bruised and swollen face, barely suppressed his laughter, though his insides were churning with amusement. Seeing Mesokta chasing after Qin Feng, he quickly set off to follow.

××××××××××××××××××××

The Keyan Mountains are located west of the Longerge River, the largest river on the continent, winding through the Redstone Kingdom, the Papal Kingdom, and the Fatil Empire.

Located on a mountain path within the Papal States, Mount Keyan stood guard on horseback alongside Mesokta, dressed in black robes, and Emerson, equally attired. They patrolled the surroundings vigilantly.

Inside the carriage lay a blond-haired youth in white robes—Qin Feng, who had previously escaped the Papacy's pursuit several times.

Since his brutal beating of the Archmage Mesokta, Qin Feng had been hunted like a stray dog by the combined forces of Mesokta and Emerson for nearly two months, traversing the entire territory of Fatil. With Qin Feng's current abilities, he could have easily escaped even in a one-on-one fight, but Mesokta and Emerson had learned their lesson. No matter how Qin Feng tried to entice or provoke him, they would attack simultaneously, never giving him a chance for a one-on-one confrontation.

Three days ago, Qin Feng, exhausted from being chased, attempted to unleash a level-ten super forbidden spell—Judgment of the Gods—before his strength gave out. However, he was interrupted by the arriving Amos during the incantation, resulting in a backlash of magical elements. The chaotic mental energy instantly assaulted Qin Feng's brain.

At that moment, a ring of black mental energy suddenly appeared, frantically devouring Qin Feng's mental energy. In just a few breaths, it had completely consumed all the mental energy in Qin Feng's brain. The black energy seemed unsatisfied and began to devour Qin Feng's life imprint (commonly known as his soul). If Qin Feng's life imprint were completely devoured, he would lose his soul and become a mindless walking corpse.

Just as Qin Feng's soul was being completely devoured and he was about to fall into unconsciousness, Tiger Soul suddenly appeared automatically from his spatial bag. A spiritual energy dozens of times stronger than the black energy ring, carrying a domineering aura, surged from the blood-red blade of Tiger Soul into Qin Feng's brain. With overwhelming force, it surrounded the black spiritual energy before they could react, and then began to devour it.

The black spiritual energy ring, after absorbing a large amount of spiritual energy and Qin Feng's life imprint, grew considerably stronger. Although weaker than the spiritual energy from Tiger Soul, it seemed to have been unleashed in this critical moment of life and death, and began to frantically devour the powerful spiritual energy from Tiger Soul. The two spiritual energies devoured each other, and finally merged seamlessly, becoming a dark golden spiritual energy.

A flash of dark golden lightning appeared in Qin Feng's eyes, and then he fainted. Then they were caught red-handed by Mesokta and Emerson, and to their delight, Qin Feng fainted again. According to the requirements of that 'master', they could say that they had perfectly fulfilled the requirements.

At this moment, Qin Feng, lying inside the carriage, suddenly trembled slightly. A wisp of dark black energy tinged with gold emerged from his body, then disappeared back in. Slowly, the golden energy wisp multiplied, eventually forming a golden cocoon that enveloped Qin Feng.

The two god-level experts, Mesokta and Emerson, who were carefully guarding the carriage, immediately sensed something was wrong. A powerful energy surge, almost shattering space itself, emanated from the carriage. The two exchanged horrified glances. They frantically whipped the horses pulling the carriage and simultaneously channeled all their energy to retreat backward.

After they had retreated a mile away, with a series of sharp cracking sounds, the once magnificent carriage shattered into dust, and the horses, still struggling to escape, were crushed into a bloody pulp by an immense pressure.

A few seconds later, a black hole about two meters in diameter suddenly appeared where the carriage had been. A tremendous suction force, capable of absorbing the entire universe, frantically drew energy from the surrounding area. In an instant, all forms of energy in the world rushed into the black hole. Even Mesokta Heimerhus, who had already fled several miles away, felt his own energy rapidly draining away.

It seemed like a moment had passed, yet also centuries. Finally, a roar that seemed to shatter the void seemed to break open, revealing a towering figure: long, flowing hair like gold, long, arched eyebrows, a handsome nose, full lips, and closed eyes—it was none other than

Qin Feng!

Qin Feng was now floating naked in mid-air, his body's steel-like lines exuding unmistakable masculine strength. Suddenly, he opened his eyes, and a terrifying flash of lightning sent a chill down the spine of even Mesokta Heimerhus, who was hiding several miles away.

Just as the two were about to flee, their vision blurred, and Qin Feng, clad in white robes, stood before them.

"Surprised?" Qin Feng smiled faintly, looking at the two legendary human experts before him as if they were ants, exuding an indescribable nonchalance.

"Actually, it's nothing, just a clever maneuver." Qin Feng said to himself.

"A clever maneuver?" Aimers asked, barely suppressing his fear.

"Actually, I noticed something amiss as soon as I entered the Great Qin Royal City. Everything that followed was within my expectations, but I didn't expect the Spirit-Extinguishing Pill to be so potent. If I hadn't encountered that necromancer, and the Tiger Soul hadn't broken its seal, I might have truly been captured by you." The Tiger Soul Demon Blade appeared in Qin Feng's hand at some point, emitting a buzzing sound.

"Since you knew it was a trap, why did you still walk in and make our readers curse the tiger in their hearts, causing him to suffer?"

"Because my life has been full of hardships. If I don't temper our readers' minds now, how will they adapt to that tense and exciting cleanliness in the future? Besides, if I don't drink it, how will I find out who is plotting against me?" A strange light flashed in Qin Feng's eyes.

"So your amnesiac behavior was all fake?"

"That's true! I did suffer from amnesia at the time, but later, I conspired with the spirit of the Tiger Soul Blade. The power of the Extinction Pill not only refined my spiritual power, but more importantly, it allowed me to completely absorb the power of the eighth level of Chi You's Chaotic Demon Body Technique. In the end, I still have to thank you." Qin Feng sighed, and was momentarily lost in thought.

Suddenly, taking advantage of Qin Feng's momentary lapse in concentration, Amos seized the opportunity and used all his strength to escape. Just as he was about to disappear from Qin Feng's sight, a blood-red light carrying overwhelming resentment flashed, freezing Amos in mid-air. He then turned to ashes, leaving not a trace. A sword god, instantly killed in a single move!

"Go back and tell your Pope and King Qin that what you owe me will eventually be repaid." Qin Feng's indifferent, emotionless voice drifted on the wind.

Mesokta stared blankly in the direction Qin Feng had disappeared, the image of Qin Feng in his mind becoming increasingly blurry, as if forcibly erased.

Perhaps by the time he returned, the apocalypse would have arrived.

"Qin kid, you're quite the actor, tsk tsk, I didn't realize you had a talent for acting!" A mental fluctuation from within the Tiger Soul Blade transmitted to Qin Feng's brain.

"Hehe, thanks to you too, I've finally gained true control of this body. Five years ago, I was severely injured and ended up in this body. Luckily, his soul was rather weak, which barely maintained a balance. The newly formed soul combines traits of both of us, sometimes shrewd, sometimes idiotic. However, their life imprints have all been devoured by the Spirit Extinction Pill. I am now the sole master of this body."

"You're ruthless, kid. You actually risked your life, daring to be devoured by the Spirit Extinction Pill. You were gambling with your life! But now you've finally achieved your goal. The soul of that Ninth Prince and your combined soul have all been devoured by the Spirit Extinction Pill! Brilliant! Absolutely brilliant!"

"Life is a gamble. What's wrong with taking a gamble for the future? If you win, you can completely control this body; if you lose, you'll just vanish. I already died once five years ago. At worst, I'll die cleanly this time, saving myself the pain of three people sharing one body." Qin Feng said calmly, looking at the setting sun.

The setting sun cast a long, long shadow of him.

Starry Continent, I, Qin Feng, have returned.
