My roommate cheated on me. Should I tell her boyfriend?

My roommate and I have been friends since high school, and we're very close. She's been dating her boyfriend for two years.

About a week ago, she met another guy, and they often go out together. Once, they even slept together in her room. Sometimes she asks me to cover for her, telling her boyfriend she was out with me.

I feel like her boyfriend is quite devoted to her, but my roommate and I are closer, and I don't want to lose such a friend. Now I'm really torn about whether to tell her boyfriend. We follow each other on other websites, so I'm hesitant to ask. That's why I'm asking here.
