Provoking - Chapter 351 Invitation

"Mr. Gu, this is an invitation from Guoxin. They will be holding an auction tonight and would like to invite you to attend."
Gu Shaoming took it and glanced at it. "The invitations are being sent out only now, starting tonight. I'm not going."
"Actually, the invitation was sent a while ago, but I just haven't had time to..."

Qin Qing picked up the invitation from the table and looked at its design.

Gu Shaoming pondered, seemingly considering whether it was feasible.
Qin Qing clasped her hands together and looked at him, "Please, just this once."

Qin Qing's face was full of disappointment. "Fine, if I don't want to go, I won't go."

"I'll take you there. It starts at seven o'clock tonight."
He indicated to her that time was running out and she needed to hurry.
"I'm not going."
Gu Shaoming looked at Qin Qing, who had a cold expression and seemed genuinely uninterested, reached out and grabbed her computer keyboard, saying, "No way, I already agreed. It's no fun going alone."
Qin Qing looked up at him with some annoyance, "That has nothing to do with me."
After saying that, he removed his hand and started working.
Seeing that Qin Qing was really angry, Gu Shaoming bent down and leaned closer to her, "I was just teasing you this afternoon, let's go together."
"Forget it, I can't afford to give someone any benefits, lest he bring up his old records later," Qin Qing said coolly.
Gu Shaoming grabbed Qin Qing's earlobes with both hands. "Alright, I was just kidding. Besides, my mom told me you were going to give her a really hard-to-get membership card, so consider it a thank you."
Qin Qing's expression finally shifted as she looked at Gu Shaoming, "Did your aunt tell you?"
"Yeah, next time you run into Yang Xinyi, just stay far away. She's like a leech, really hard to deal with. You don't need to argue with her."
"Why am I the one who has to hide?" Qin Qing said, somewhat indignantly.
"If you can outmaneuver her, that's fine too. I'm just worried you'll get hurt."
Qin Qing glanced at Gu Shaoming. Hearing him say that, she felt a little better. She had thought he was still thinking about Yang Xinyi.
"Alright, let's go, we still need to change our clothes." Gu Shaoming pulled her up.
The auction was held at the Guoxin Hotel in the suburbs. Before 7 a.m., many people had already arrived, and cars lined up in a long queue outside the hotel.
Gu Shaoming got out of the car first, and then politely opened the car door for Qin Qing.
Qin Qing changed into a light blue long gauze dress, looking ethereal and elegant. The silver crystal shoes made her appear even more refined and tall.
