[Urban] Urban Evil Knight (Complete) - Chapter 36

Volume 1 Gene Recombination Chapter 166 [Black Dragon Saintess]
On the top floor of a three-story villa in the Nanyang villa district, Shi Changqing sat leisurely in a corner. Below was Shi Xinran's current home. Currently, the entire villa was empty except for the nanny, as Shi Xinran and her two daughters, Han Qian, were boarding at school. Shi Changqing puffed heavily on his cigarette, wanting to see Han Qiang for himself and ask him why he had hit Shi Xinran.

After sitting on the rooftop for ten minutes, a beam of light shone from afar, heading in their direction. Shi Changqing stood up, hiding in the corner, and secretly looked down. As a car stopped outside the villa, two men got out. One of them was none other than Han Qiang, who seemed to have drunk too much. He was being helped out of the car by the other man, who looked to be only in his late twenties.

"I'm fine, come inside and sit down with me," Han Qiang said, struggling to stand up.

"Mr. Han, I... I have something to do today..." the man stammered, seemingly reluctant to come inside.

"Something wrong? Even if it's something serious, you can't just leave. I'll give you two choices: go in or go back, but don't go to work tomorrow either," Han Qiang said domineeringly, shoving the handsome man aside.

The man seemed frightened and hurriedly helped Han Qiang up, following him into the villa. They seemed perfectly normal, but Shi Changqing felt something was off. Unable to pinpoint what it was, Shi Changqing carefully jumped down and slipped through a second-floor window. As soon as he entered, he smelled a sweet floral fragrance. Looking around, he realized this was Han Tianqi's room, as her photos were everywhere, and several oversized plush toys sat on the bed.

After a quick glance, Shi Changqing opened the door and left. The second floor was off-limits to the nanny; she wouldn't enter without the owner's permission. This was also the residence of the Han Qian sisters; Han Qiang's residence was at the other end of the villa.

Shi Changqing kept his surveillance capabilities active, following Han Qiang. He discovered that Han Qiang and the other man had gone up to the second floor of the other half of the villa. Shi Changqing quickly found a window and approached. Although this was a luxury villa area, the surrounding security was good, so there weren't many security cameras installed around the villa. This allowed Shi Changqing to boldly climb the wall like a secret agent.

"Xiao Yang, how is President Han treating you?" Shi Changqing stopped at the corner, only a dozen meters away from the two men. Han Qiang and the other man were standing together, talking. Shi Changqing listened intently. Although his hearing was good enough to hear their conversation, Shi Changqing was somewhat disoriented due to anger.

"President Han treats me like his own son. I really have no way to repay him," the man called Xiao Yang replied obsequiously.

"No, you can repay me. Just stay tonight, and you'll be the general manager of the business department." When Han Qiang's voice rang out again, Shi Changqing was almost stunned. What did he mean by that?

“Mr. Han, I have a wife and children, please don’t force me, I don’t… I don’t have that… that tendency…” When Xiao Yang’s words rang out, Shi Changqing finally confirmed his suspicions. Could Han Qiang be gay? Only then could Shi Changqing explain why his daughter had been beaten by Han Qiang.

“No, we can train him. Five million. If you agree, come in; if you don’t, leave. I won’t force you.” After saying this, Han Qiang went into his bedroom and threw himself onto the large bed. On the bedside table was a wedding photo of him and Shi Xinran.

A few minutes later, Shi Changqing heard the man called Xiao Yang grope his way into the room. He immediately closed the door as soon as he entered, perhaps out of fear, he stood still.

“Mr. Han, could you turn off the light?” After a long while, Xiao Yang finally spoke.

“What do you mean, turn it off? Just draw the curtains. No one will see.” Han Qiang, lying on the bed, said loudly. Xiao Yang trembled as he went to the bedside and climbed onto the bed in fear.

"If you're going to dawdle, get out of here, or better yet." Han Qiang suddenly sat up and took off his suit jacket, startling Xiao Yang so much he almost fell off the bed.

Xiao Yang quickly started taking off his clothes. Five million was a huge temptation for him. He was afraid of and hated his boss, who had homosexual tendencies, but he was also helpless. All the male employees in the company as good-looking as him had been taken advantage of by Han Qiang with money. He didn't expect that he wouldn't be spared either. When he took off his clothes and returned to bed, he secretly resented his parents for giving him such a good-looking face.

As he was lost in thought, Han Qiang suddenly reached out and pulled him into his arms, kissing his neck like a woman's kiss. His calloused hands began to caress his body. Before he could react, Han Qiang forcefully climbed on top of him…

“Damn it, ugh… ***, this is disgusting, he's gay.” Shi Changqing stood outside the door, eavesdropping for a while, but gradually the two men's voices became unbearable. If he listened any longer, Shi Changqing felt he might even have the urge to kill.

Back on the top floor of the villa, Shi Changqing still couldn't shake off the disgust he had just felt. He sat dejectedly on the eaves, tears streaming down his face. Men don't easily shed tears, but he couldn't hold back. If he hadn't abandoned Xinran's mother, how could Xinran have ended up like this? Their life was wealthy enough, but they had no joy at all. Shi Changqing knew without a doubt that Shi Xinran knew her husband was gay.

After sitting on the rooftop for over half an hour until it was completely dark, Shi Changqing finally left. Staying was pointless; he couldn't possibly kill Han Qiang himself. That would only cause Shi Xinran even greater distress, and he didn't want his two granddaughters to suffer any harm.

Deep within the Huangmiao Cemetery on the outskirts of Jinjin West District, Shi Changqing knelt before a tombstone. The person on the tombstone was a beautiful woman, very young in the photograph, seemingly not yet thirty. The inscription beneath the tombstone read: "Unfilial Daughter, Shi Xinran."

"Yuxiang, I've come to see you. You must be very confused to see me like this, hehe. My life has been rewritten by others. I wanted to live a few peaceful years before going down to join you," Shi Changqing said with a smile, but his expression was extremely painful. Speaking to a deceased person, the feelings he evoked were beyond the comprehension of ordinary people.

“I saw our daughter. She’s doing well now, but she still doesn’t acknowledge me as her father. Tell me, what should I do?”

“I knew you still hate me, hate me for abandoning you back then. I won’t say any hypocritical apologies; that would only make you hate me more in the afterlife.” Shi Changqing kept saying this, as if he were truly talking to someone alive.

As he spoke these heartfelt words, a sudden clap of lightning thundered, followed by a torrential downpour. Shi Changqing already knew it would rain tonight. No matter how the raindrops pelted him, he remained unmoved, continuing to talk to the woman on the tombstone.

“Yuxiang, if you have a spirit in heaven, please let Shi Changqing recognize his daughter and granddaughter, and let them live a good life in their later years.” Shi Changqing knelt repentantly at the tombstone, weeping bitterly.

Just as he finished speaking, another bolt of lightning struck, but this time, it hit the tomb directly in front of him. With a deafening roar, the tomb shattered into pieces, rubble and earth exploding in all directions.

Shi Changqing watched this scene in horror. Although his energy had surpassed that of humans, he dared not doubt whether what he was seeing was truly divine retribution. If that bolt of lightning had struck him, he would have been blasted to ashes.

Seeing his woman's grave blown open, Shi Changqing scrambled to his feet and ran over. The scene before him nearly made him faint. Was that lightning cursed? It had completely blasted the grave to smithereens, leaving only a coffin. The coffin lid was shattered. Inside lay a woman, her body and skin perfectly intact, as if she were still alive.

"How is this possible?" Shi Changqing muttered to himself, walking towards the coffin. He could clearly see that the woman inside, apart from her pale, bloodless face, was exactly like a normal person.

"Yuxiang." Shi Changqing knelt beside her, his eyes red. He knew Yuxiang had been dead for decades. Although he hadn't attended her funeral, he had learned from a friend that Yuxiang hadn't been buried alive, but had been buried directly. He hadn't heard of anything in the coffin to preserve a body. This was impossible in the entire world, except for early mummies and zombies, but even those bodies couldn't be preserved so perfectly.

Regardless, Shi Changqing tentatively reached out and touched Yu Xiang's face. The icy touch startled him, and he quickly withdrew his hand. However, he soon discovered that the area he touched remained unchanged, meaning that external objects touching the corpse would not cause any adverse reactions.

Thinking this, Shi Changqing quickly used his energy to lift Yu Xiang's body out of the coffin and embraced her. Regardless of how long she had been dead, Shi Changqing didn't mind the slightly sour smell of the corpse.

To avoid attracting the attention of the cemetery caretakers and those mourning their loved ones, Shi Changqing used his energy to restore the scattered rubble and soil to their original state, making the tomb almost perfectly intact, except for the inability to reassemble. Anyone who saw it would surely assume it was caused by a lightning strike.

Having done all this, Shi Changqing was still uneasy. He called Zhang Baochang and asked him to bring craftsmen over in the early morning to repair the tomb. After giving Zhang Baochang the address, Shi Changqing picked up Yuxiang and flew into the sky.

Holding Yuxiang, Shi Changqing flew directly back to the cave on the Ice and Fire Hill behind Putian High School. Because half of the cave was ice, the body could be preserved for a long time. After settling everything, Shi Changqing immediately sent a signal to Yuan Fei. Because she was less than a kilometer away, Yuan Fei had already gotten up and rushed there when Shi Changqing's detection power locked onto her.

"Changqing, what's this?" Yuan Fei hadn't fallen asleep. Shi Changqing's rapid flight to the school, without any concealment of his strength, made Yuan Fei feel that something had happened.

"She's Han Qian's grandmother," Shi Changqing said with a sigh, a tear rolling down his cheek.

"Hasn't she been gone for many years?" Yuan Fei said in disbelief.

“Yes, but today she was released by the heavens. I think it's fate, giving me the chance to see her again,” Shi Changqing said, standing up.

“But she's already like this,” Yuan Fei said, puzzled.

“I called you here so you could go and find Alice and the others. No matter how important or difficult things are outside, you must bring them back,” Shi Changqing said calmly.

“Yes, I know,” Yuan Fei nodded.

“Aren't you going to ask me what I want?” Shi Changqing turned to look at Yuan Fei.

“If you want to tell me, you will,” Yuan Fei said softly. Shi Changqing liked her for being so understanding. Although Yuan Fei was an alien, she was the most understanding girl among all aliens, even Alice couldn't compare to her.

“I want to resurrect Yu Xiang,” Shi Changqing said heavily, turning to look at Yu Xiang lying peacefully on the flower bed Yuan Fei had prepared.

"Resurrection? Changqing, that resurrection technique is only known to the Black Dragon Clan. None of us in the Golden Dragon Clan know it," Yuan Fei explained anxiously. She thought Shi Changqing was looking for Alice so she could use the resurrection technique to save his woman.

"Haha, you forgot? I have Fanlong's power within me now. I've had the resurrection technique for a long time, but I've never been able to use it, nor have I had a chance to use it. Today, I saw that Yuxiang's body is still so intact, so I want to try this technique to see if it works." Shi Changqing squatted down and sat beside Yuxiang.

"Then why are you looking for Alice and the others?" Yuan Fei asked疑惑地问道.

"My energy alone isn't enough. This resurrection technique might only be able to be performed by the five of us working together. I found this in the Black Dragon Clan's memories; it takes the twelve Black Dragon Saintesses working together to use the resurrection technique." Shi Changqing recalled the memories of the Dragon God Fanlong in his mind.

"Black Dragon Saintesses?" Yuan Fei almost screamed, her face tense.

"What's wrong?" Shi Changqing looked at Yuan Fei's expression and immediately guessed what was going on. These twelve Black Dragon Saintesses were the top beings of the Black Dragon Clan, while Yuan Fei was merely a powerful warrior of the Golden Dragon Clan, so it was natural for her to be surprised. After listening to Yuan

Fei
's explanation, Shi Changqing understood that the Black Dragon Saintesses were actually the most powerful beings on their planet. If all twelve women worked together to unleash their power, even Shi Changqing wouldn't be a match for them. But now, Shi Changqing didn't care about them anymore; the woman before him was the woman he cared about most in his life.

"If they can only unleash it by joining forces, then the few of us simply can't do it," Yuan Fei said after thinking for a moment. She now knew that the beautiful woman lying there was Shi Changqing's first girlfriend and Han Qian's grandmother.

"I want to try, even if I don't succeed, even if there's only a sliver of hope," Shi Changqing said softly, kneeling blankly beside Yu Xiang.

"Okay, I understand. I'll go find them now." Yuan Fei nodded and left the cave. Once at the mountaintop, she took out her phone and called Maomao.

After the call connected, Yuan Fei briefly explained the situation. She learned that Alice and the other two weren't far from Jin Jin, but had found a dragon princess in a nearby city. Alice promised to return soon. Yuan Fei put away her phone and went back into the cave. If they came back now, it would take less than half an hour.

"They'll be back soon." Yuan Fei looked at Shi Changqing, who was sobbing softly, and patted his shoulder with concern. A man crying is often looked down upon by women, but Yuan Fei knew that the man in front of her was crying for his woman. She should admire and envy such tears. She even thought how wonderful it would be if she were that woman.

"Even with the three of them, it's still not enough." Shi Changqing frowned, then suddenly remembered something and immediately took out his phone to dial. The call connected.

"Have Kuanglong come with you to the place where Kuanglong cultivates. Get here in five minutes." Shi Changqing said, not allowing any refusal or questioning, and then hung up the phone.

"The Twelve Black Dragon Saintesses aren't particularly strong individually. I think with our combined strength, our energy is enough to cast this resurrection spell." Shi Changqing felt a little relieved, but his heart was filled with excitement. If he really resurrected Yuxiang, he could not only make up for the love he had lost, but perhaps also gain his daughter's forgiveness. This was what Shi Changqing wanted most.

"Mm." Yuan Fei nodded, sensing the energy coming from not far away. She quickly probed back, and only withdrew her probe after confirming it was from her own people.

As the two stood there, four girls suddenly appeared in an open space behind Shi Changqing. Besides Alice and the other two, there was a beautiful girl who looked at Yuan Fei and couldn't help but smile.

"Sister Hua..." the girl called out sweetly.

"Are you Xiao Si?" Yuan Fei asked, looking at the girl with suspicion.

"No, I'm Lao Wu." the girl said innocently.

Seeing that Changqing didn't even turn his head, Alice walked to his side and asked with concern, "Is the resurrection technique difficult to perform?"

"I don't know if it's difficult or not. I only know that perhaps we need to use our collective energy to have a chance to activate the resurrection technique," Shi Changqing said calmly.

"How is her body so well preserved?" Alice looked at the woman on the ground, who was perhaps even more beautiful than herself, and couldn't help but squat down. She then realized that the corpse was practically like a living person, only pale-faced and not breathing. Alice could clearly detect that the internal organs of the woman in front of her were almost perfectly preserved, like a perfectly good clock that had run out of batteries and could only sit there idle.

"I don't know either. Perhaps it's fate," Shi Changqing sighed. Everything that happened was so miraculous. If he hadn't gone to find Han Qiang, perhaps he wouldn't have gone to see Yu Xiang. If he hadn't gone to see Yu Xiang, he wouldn't have seen her body so well preserved.

Alice and the other three had only been there for three minutes when suddenly two energy bodies rapidly descended from above the cave and instantly landed at the bottom of the cave. These two were Zhang Baochang and Kuanglong.

"Everyone's here, let's begin!" Shi Changqing said excitedly, completely forgetting to tell Zhang Baochang and the other two what they were going to do.

"You at least have to tell us how to use that resurrection technique!" Alice chided from the side.

"Just unleash your strongest energy, gather it into an energy ball, and bring it to my palm. You don't need to worry about the rest," Shi Changqing said, directing them to take their positions. The

resurrection technique he remembered was actually quite simple: one person was the main force, and the others assisted, gathering their energy together and then striking the dead person, injecting powerful energy into their body to resurrect them. Shi Changqing only knew this much and didn't know if it was perfect, but he couldn't care less.

"Xiao Wu, you heard everything, everyone get ready," Alice said to the others after taking her position. Zhang Baochang and Kuanglong didn't hesitate at all and quickly took their positions.

Seeing Shi Changqing standing beside the corpse with his hands raised, the others, following his instructions, quickly began. Their bodies were enveloped in an energy circle, which slowly gathered towards their palms. After several tens of seconds, Alice and the others had gathered all their energy into their hands, forming energy balls as Shi Changqing had instructed.

"Changqing, be careful," Alice warned. She knew about the Black Dragon Clan's resurrection technique, but this was the first time she'd seen it done this way. If their energy balls landed on Shi Changqing, they could easily kill him—something Shi Changqing couldn't possibly be unaware of.

"Hurry up. Once the energy is circulating, all of you go up. No matter what happens, no one is allowed to come down without my permission," Shi Changqing said cautiously. He knew that if his method was incorrect, the energy balls wouldn't gather together, causing them to quickly become stuck and explode. Each of these energy balls was incredibly powerful, and Shi Changqing didn't want to drag them down with him.

Urged on by Shi Changqing, Alice let out a soft cry, and the energy ball in her hand flew towards Shi Changqing's hands at a steady speed. The others released theirs at the same speed, almost simultaneously. As they released their energy balls, Shi Changqing gave the order,

"Go quickly."

"We'll wait for you up there," Alice said in a trembling voice, hurriedly pulling Xiao Wu, who was exhausted from energy depletion, and flying up. Yuan Fei also grabbed Zhang Baochang with one hand and Kuanglong with the other, shooting up quickly. Behind her, Maomao and Zhuzhu glanced at Shi Changqing worriedly, but dared not delay and followed.

"Yuxiang, even if we don't succeed, I will go with you," Shi Changqing said with a wry smile, looking at Yuxiang on the ground. The seven energy balls collided in an instant. Shi Changqing dared not be distracted, looking up at the seven energy balls, watching them slowly converge, before finally unleashing his own energy.

A large energy circle appeared in Shi Changqing's hands, which he manipulated to envelop the seven energy spheres. Shi Changqing cautiously contracted his energy circle, trying his best to converge and compress the energy into one place.

Zhang Baochang and Kuanglong's energy spheres were the first to converge, perhaps because their energy spheres were weaker. Next, Yuan Fei, Maomao, and Zhuzhu's energy spheres converged, and finally Alice and Dragon Princess Xiao Wu's energy spheres converged, splitting into three separate energies.

"Heavens... if you let her out to see me, you should help me. Give me a quick death, whether she lives or dies!" Shi Changqing shouted, his hands suddenly clasped together. The energy circle above his head rapidly shrank, forcibly compressing the three energy spheres together. However, they didn't converge; instead, they spun rapidly, rubbing against each other, as if deliberately giving Shi Changqing a difficult task.

It was like three children who couldn't possibly play together, but Shi Changqing insisted on making them play together. After several twists and turns, Zhang Baochang and Kuanglong's energy balls finally merged with the energy balls of Yuan Fei and the other two girls. Alice and Xiao Wu's energy balls, however, were very restless and tried to break free of the energy circle.

Seeing that his energy circle was about to burst, Shi Changqing gritted his teeth and used all his last remaining energy. With this final effort, the energy circle returned to its original state and continued to slowly shrink. This time, Shi Changqing succeeded. He finally saw the two energy balls combine and perfectly merge with his energy circle into a huge energy ball.

"Yuxiang, I'm sorry." Shi Changqing walked to the corpse with the energy ball in his hands, bowed his head and said softly. Suddenly, he swung his hands downwards, and the huge energy ball in his hands slammed into the corpse with a bang. A blinding light instantly shone. Even Shi Changqing couldn't bear it and turned his head away, feeling the energy in front of him that seemed to tear his body apart. He endured the pain and stood there resolutely.

Unable to witness the resurrection of Yu Xiang, he could only rely on his senses. The energy was too powerful; Shi Changqing was now almost indistinguishable from an ordinary person. He even found himself unable to use his probing abilities, realizing this was due to the complete depletion of energy. Only then did Shi Changqing calmly wait aside, enduring unbearable pain. The blinding light gradually faded, and Shi Changqing suddenly staggered and collapsed to the ground, unconscious.

"Changqing, Changqing..." A woman's voice rang out from afar. Shi Changqing tried desperately to open his eyes, but his eyelids were too tired to even lift. He felt as if his internal organs had shifted.

Someone placed a hand on his head, and Shi Changqing clearly felt a warm energy flow from his head into his brain, then rapidly spreading throughout his body. After a long while, Shi Changqing finally opened his eyes, and before him stood a bewitching beauty—the Evil Serpent King, Alice.

"You're finally awake," Alice said softly, her eyes red.

"How long have I been asleep?" Shi Changqing tried to sit up, but it was impossible. He felt like someone who had done a lot of physical labor, and he had no strength left to do anything else.

"A day and a night," Alice said with concern.

"Did it work?" Shi Changqing suddenly remembered the scene before he fainted and remembered to ask. He didn't see himself in a cave, but in a bedroom. The surrounding furnishings indicated that it was a woman's room.

"You almost lost it all. How could I face you if it didn't work?" Alice said with a smile, tears streaming down her face. Shi Changqing's safety was her biggest concern right now.

"Where's Yuxiang?" Shi Changqing asked anxiously.

"She's asleep. It's midnight now. You should rest first. Go see her when you've regained your strength. She can't escape," Alice said teasingly, turning to sleep next to Shi Changqing.

"She's very important to me," Shi Changqing sighed, tilting his head back and closing his eyes.

"I know, but you can't forget about us, your heroes, just because you have her." Alice mischievously reached down and pinched Shi Changqing's still-erect penis.

"Once I regain my strength, I'll thank you properly." Shi Changqing turned his head and kissed Alice's forehead. He was surprised to find that he couldn't even get an erection. Normally, he would have already taken advantage of Alice. Shi Changqing attributed it to the fact that he might have used too much energy, causing him these aftereffects, but he didn't know what was wrong with him.

"Mmm..." Alice nodded vigorously, her eyes reddening. She quickly nestled in Shi Changqing's arms, trying not to let him see her crying.

Shi Changqing happily stroked Alice's long hair and hugged her tightly. Soon after, Shi Changqing fell asleep. Only then did Alice get up, turn off the light, and leave the room.

Volume 1 Gene Recombination Chapter 168 [Master of Unrequited Love]
The next morning, Shi Changqing got up early, tidied his clothes, and hurried out of the room. As soon as he reached the outside, he saw Alice and a woman chatting and laughing in the living room.

"Yuxiang, your husband is here," Alice said, turning to look at Shi Changqing with a sweet smile.

"Husband?" The woman turned around, saw Shi Changqing, but didn't show the excitement he expected. Instead, she looked puzzled. What was wrong with Yuxiang? Shi Changqing wondered, and quickly went over.

"Yuxiang..." Reaching Yuxiang's side, Shi Changqing pulled her up and embraced her, his voice trembling with deep affection as he called out her name.

"Ah...you pervert, Alice, help me!" Yu Xiang screamed, hitting and struggling, shouting wildly. Shi Changqing, frightened, let go of her. Yu Xiang, as if she had seen a ghost, hid behind Alice in terror.

"What...what's wrong with her?" Shi Changqing asked blankly.

"Changqing, don't be sad, she might have some memory problems." Alice didn't want to hide it. She had wanted to tell Shi Changqing yesterday, but was afraid he couldn't accept it. Today, however, she couldn't find a reason to hide it from him; he would find out sooner or later anyway.

"Memory problems? What do you mean?" Shi Changqing asked, frowning.

"She only knows that her name is Wang Yu Xiang, and that her husband is Shi Changqing, but she clearly doesn't know that you are her." Alice explained softly.

"Alice, he's just a young boy, how could he be my husband? He's taking advantage of me! Whoever he is, get rid of him!" Yu Xiang said fearfully from behind Alice.

"Why is she so close to you?" Shi Changqing looked at Yu Xiang, his heart aching with confusion.

“I was the first person she saw. Even with Maomao and the others, Yuxiang wasn’t this friendly with them, but she didn’t seem to dislike you like this. Maybe it’s because you’re a boy,” Alice said after thinking for a moment.

“You go out, I’ll explain to her,” Shi Changqing said softly.

“Alice, don’t leave me alone, I’m afraid of him,” Yuxiang suddenly interjected, looking at Shi Changqing as if she had seen a big bad wolf.

“Changqing, don’t provoke her. Since you’ve already succeeded, don’t be so hasty. Listen to me, take it slow, I’ll make her acknowledge you as her husband,” Alice said with a smile. She wanted to relieve Shi Changqing’s pressure. As Yuxiang’s only man, being unable to acknowledge her face to face was such a painful thing.

“How can I not be anxious?” Shi Changqing sighed. He knew that Yuxiang must have lost her memory. No matter what he looked like, she wouldn’t acknowledge him unless she regained her memories from her previous life.

"What's the use of your panic? You should leave first, otherwise I'm afraid Yuxiang will be scared out of her wits," Alice earnestly reminded him. She could feel Yuxiang trembling behind her.

"Yuxiang..." Shi Changqing murmured softly, but he still listened to Alice's advice and dared not look at Yuxiang again. He hurriedly walked out of the house. Once outside, he realized that this was not a city at all. The house behind him was practically hastily built and looked very unsightly.

"Changqing..." He hadn't gone far when he wanted to find a place to sit down. A woman's voice came from afar. Shi Changqing hurriedly looked over and saw Yuan Fei, a girl, walking towards him.

"You got kicked out, didn't you?" Maomao walked to his side and said with a coquettish smile.

Shi Changqing gave her a cold look. Maomao quickly shut her mouth, walked to Shi Changqing's side in fear, took his arm, and shook it silently.

"Changqing... everything will be alright..." Yuan Fei said understandingly.

"I'm already more than satisfied. Seeing her alive, what more could I ask for?" Shi Changqing said with a self-deprecating smile.

"Alice said she has a way to make her accept you," Yuan Fei said with concern from the side.

"I know, I'm fine. Don't look at me like I'm so fragile," Shi Changqing said with a hearty laugh, seeing the four girls staring at him with pity.

"You're not fragile? In your current state, I could kill you with a single finger." Before Shi Changqing's laughter had even stopped, Princess Xiao Wu, who had been standing behind Yuan Fei, said coldly.

"Princess..." Yuan Fei turned to look at Xiao Wu, wanting to scold her, but swallowed her words. The other party was a princess of the Golden Dragon Clan, and she, a mere dragon warrior, had no right to reprimand her.

"Little girl, don't think that just because you're a dragon princess, I won't dare to do anything to you. If it weren't for the fact that you saved my woman, I would have killed you hundreds of times over just for saying that." Shi Changqing said viciously. He was already in a bad mood, and now someone was looking down on him like this. How could Shi Changqing stand this humiliation?

"Haha... I'm dying of laughter. You're already a cripple, yet you still try to act tough in front of this princess." Xiao Wu laughed loudly, ignoring the attempts by Yuan Fei and the three girls, Maomao, to stop her with their eyes.

Hearing the other's words, Shi Changqing raised a hand and tried to use his body's energy, but to his shock, he couldn't sense any energy in his body at all. Shi Changqing could feel that his once solid muscles had aged overnight. If he hadn't looked in the mirror that morning, Shi Changqing felt that his muscles now looked like those of a decrepit old man.

"What happened to me?" Shi Changqing turned to look at Yuan Fei and asked anxiously.

"It's nothing. Perhaps you used too much energy and are temporarily depleted. Rest, and your energy will definitely return," Yuan Fei said, her voice filled with disbelief.

"Huh? Return? So I'm just an ordinary person now?" Shi Changqing pressed.

"What do you think? You're just an ordinary Earthling now," Xiao Wu teased from the side.

Shi Changqing ignored her and turned to walk towards the forest in front of the house. He wanted to use his sensory powers to check his physical condition, but his willpower had vanished, making it impossible to control or perceive anything. Once inside the forest, everything dozens of meters away was blurry.

"Sister... should we follow him?" Spider asked sadly, looking at Shi Changqing's dejected figure.

"Let him have some peace and quiet," Yuan Fei sighed. She knew what Shi Changqing was feeling. Going from a super mutant to an ordinary person was something no one could accept all at once. Moreover, once Shi Changqing lost his power, he might revert to an old man's state, but Yuan Fei and Alice had already tried countless methods to restore him to normalcy.

"Hehe, the energy is gone. Being an ordinary person is fine too." Shi Changqing muttered to himself as he walked deeper into the forest, his hands behind his back. He thought to himself that he had already saved Yuxiang, and even if he couldn't reunite with her, he was content. As long as Shi Xinran saw Yuxiang alive, he would have fulfilled a wish.

Unconsciously, Shi Changqing had walked quite a distance. Not far in front of him, a series of thunderous roars echoed. Shi Changqing propped himself up on his hands and looked into the distance, only to see a high mountain waterfall. Whether driven by impulse or curiosity, Shi Changqing walked towards the waterfall.

After walking for nearly ten minutes, Shi Changqing clearly saw a waterfall several hundred meters away. Watching the white waterfall cascade down, creating towering waves, Shi Changqing walked a little closer.

"So beautiful..." Looking at the wide lake in front of him, the water was crystal clear. Looking into the water from the lakeside, he could clearly see fish swimming happily.

Exhausted, Shi Changqing found an outlet. Seeing no one around, he quickly took off his clothes and waded into the lake. The icy cold made him shiver. Before, this temperature wouldn't have bothered him, but now it was different. He

stopped two meters underwater. He dared not venture any deeper; he was now like an ordinary person. If he couldn't withstand the cold and something happened, he would be helpless. The

old Shi Changqing was fearless, but now he was terrified, partly because of Yu Xiang. He didn't want Yu Xiang to be resurrected while he collapsed; he wouldn't be able to die in peace.

Thinking of all the memories with Yu Xiang, Shi Changqing gradually calmed down. He sat cross-legged in the water, the surface just reaching his neck, allowing him to breathe normally.

Just a few minutes after Shi Changqing closed his eyes, strange animal cries suddenly rang out around him. He quickly opened his eyes and looked back, seeing several black-haired monkeys on the shore, holding his clothes and calling out to him.

"Put down my clothes..." Shi Changqing hurriedly stood up and ran towards the shore, but the monkeys carried his clothes away into the distance.

Shi Changqing reached the shore and quickly chased after them. He only had that one piece of clothing; if the monkeys took it, he would have to go back naked. The monkeys seemed to be deliberately teasing Shi Changqing, stopping after a short distance, only to continue running away when he caught up.

"Damn it, if I catch you, I'll skin you alive and use your monkey skins as clothes!" Shi Changqing thought maliciously as he chased after them, panting. The monkeys didn't care what he thought; they were just luring him forward.

After running for an unknown distance, Shi Changqing saw a path leading up the mountain. The monkeys, seeing him stop, chattered and jumped around, one even waving its hand as if to tell him to keep chasing.

Shi Changqing looked at the monkeys with annoyance and a secret unease. Monkeys were said to be spiritual beings; it seemed they weren't deliberately playing a trick on him, but rather trying to lead him somewhere. He hesitated for a long time, unsure if it was dangerous or safe, before finally resuming the chase. He was now just an ordinary person, unsure how long he would live, and didn't care if he died.

With these thoughts, Shi Changqing followed the monkeys up the mountain. Accustomed to mountain paths, even barefoot, he endured the pain in his feet and caught up with the monkeys. He spotted a building that looked like an ancient temple on the mountaintop in the distance, though it appeared very small. The monkeys, as if they had completed their task, threw his clothes on the ground and happily skipped into the temple.

Fearing the monkey might change its mind and take his clothes again, Shi Changqing quickly walked to the clothes, grabbed them, and hurriedly put them on. He intended to descend the mountain, but then looked back at the ancient temple, seemingly drawn by a strange attraction. Curious, Shi Changqing walked towards the temple. The temple door wasn't fully closed. Shi Changqing first peeked inside before cautiously stepping inside.

"This doesn't seem like a place people frequent," Shi Changqing remarked, surveying the temple. The walls were overgrown with weeds, and apart from the smooth and clean path in front of the temple, there was only one building, which looked very old.

"Please come in, benefactor, from afar." Just as Shi Changqing was casually looking around the temple courtyard, a deep, almost inaudible male voice suddenly rang in his ears. Shi Changqing cautiously glanced at the building, hesitated for a moment, and then boldly walked over.

Pushing open the door, Shi Changqing saw a bald monk in a robe standing with his back to him in the center of the room, striking a wooden fish.

"Master, you were the one who called me just now..." Shi Changqing called out tentatively.

"Hehe, it's me. Just call me Master Se Bude." The monk said without turning around, but put down the small stick he was using to strike the wooden fish. His voice seemed to come from all directions, which greatly shocked Shi Changqing.

"May I ask why Master led me here?" Shi Changqing sat down on a cushion. He felt that he had been led here by those monkeys, and it must have been this self-proclaimed Master Se Bude who directed him. Despite his curiosity, Shi Changqing still spoke respectfully. The fact that the other party knew he was at the foot of the mountain was comparable to his own previous ability to detect things. Master

Se
Bude turned around, and Shi Changqing finally saw his face clearly. It was a near-perfect face. Shi Changqing was shocked. Could there really be someone in the world who was so handsome and wicked? Looking at this monk, Shi Changqing was so infatuated that he couldn't take his eyes off him. And this was a man!

"Hehe..." Se Bude chuckled first, then looked Shi Changqing up and down.

"You possess immense power, but you lost the strength that could have allowed you to dominate the world because you saved your lover. Do you regret it?" Se Bude still had a smile on his face, but his words left Shi Changqing bewildered. How did the other party know his past?

Se Bude seemed to know what Shi Changqing was thinking and continued, "Life is like a dream. The calamity you suffered in your old age can be considered a blessing in disguise. Do you still want to go back to that time?" "

I wonder why Master knows my past?" Shi Changqing said calmly. Although the other party was a monk, Shi Changqing felt that he was not a good person, perhaps even a villain who had committed many evil deeds in the past.

"There is nothing on Earth that this Master dares not know. Extraterrestrial beings can come to Earth. Do you think there are no beings on Earth who are more advanced than them?" Se Bude said, raising his eyebrows.

"Forgive my ignorance," Shi Changqing said politely. Regardless of how the other party knew his affairs, Shi Changqing dared not underestimate him. A powerful aura emanating from the other man constantly pressed down on him.

"We can't be too explicit. Perhaps it's fate that we meet. Follow me." Sebude suddenly stood up and walked towards the temple's only back door. Shi Changqing glanced at him and quickly followed.

Once outside the small gate, Shi Changqing saw another world beyond—four ancient temple buildings, each ten meters tall. He was somewhat awestruck, but then looked back at the temple in front, which was less than three meters high. Why couldn't he see these four buildings from a distance? He wondered to himself.

"This is the Iron Lion Hall, this is the Fierce Tiger Hall, that is the Eagle Hall, and the one in the middle is where I rest," Sebude explained, pointing to the four buildings.

"Master..." Shi Changqing called out, wanting to voice his question, but he held back. Sebude simply smiled at him.

“Life is like a dream. Consider your visit here as just a dream,” Sebude said with a smile.

“I don’t understand. What does the master want me to see or know?”

"What you see may not be true; only what you truly hold in your hands is real. Come forth," Master Se said profoundly, and with a loud shout,

three young monks emerged from the Iron Lion Hall, Fierce Tiger Hall, and Soaring Eagle Hall. The moment they appeared, Shi Changqing could tell they were no ordinary people, for they all possessed an extremely sharp aura. Even without his energy, Shi Changqing could still perceive and sense their power.

"These three are the only disciples I have ever accepted in this life. Because of their excessive killing, I have kept them here to cultivate their character, but their evil minds remain unresolved," Master Se said. Shi Changqing didn't quite understand Master Se's words, but he knew these three were his disciples.

The three did not bow to Master Se, and even when they looked at Shi Changqing, they only gave him a cold glance. The contempt and disdain in their eyes enraged Shi Changqing. If he still had his energy, he would have killed these three long ago.

"Come in with me." Master Sebude merely shook his head at his three disciples before leading Shi Changqing into the ancient temple where he rested. As soon as they entered, Shi Changqing smelled a fragrant aroma.

"You must be wondering why I haven't explained," Master Sebude said without turning his head.

"To be honest, Master, I am very puzzled," Shi Changqing nodded, not daring to think anything, as the other could easily know his thoughts.

"Look at the candles on that platform; they are the indicators of my impending death. Heh, when the candles go out, that will be the time of my death," Master Sebude said calmly.

"Ah… then Master…?" Shi Changqing looked at the platform he pointed to, but the candles were almost completely burned out, only a tiny bit remaining at the base. At a normal rate, they would extinguish in less than five minutes, but Shi Changqing felt it shouldn't be that quick.

"What you see is real, which is why I was in such a hurry to find you," Master Sebude said simply.

"I don't have much time left before I pass away, so I must fulfill my last wish in this very short time," Master Sebude said urgently.

"Master, if I can help you, please tell me." It was the last wish of a dead man. Shi Changqing was a kind person, and the other man didn't seem like a bad person either, being a monk. What could

he possibly need him to do? It was simply that after death, he wanted more people to burn incense for him. "I will pass on all my cultivation to you, and what I ask you to do will be imprinted in your memory. Are you willing?" Se Bude

asked expectantly. "Cultivation?" Shi Changqing frowned.

"I don't have time. You'll understand later. But I must tell you, my cultivation is no less than the body the Evil Serpent King transformed for you; it can only be stronger." Se Bude explained, not caring whether Shi Changqing agreed or not. Suddenly, an energy circle appeared around him, enveloping Shi Changqing.

Se Bude's body began to spin rapidly, circling. At first, Shi Changqing could still see his figure, then he couldn't see anything anymore. As he continued to watch, Shi Changqing felt dizzy and, fearing he would faint, quickly closed his eyes.

Just as he closed his eyes, Master Se Bude's instructions suddenly echoed in his mind:

"Don't get distracted, just relax and endure it."

Shi Changqing was naturally good at concentrating and relaxing, and under his instructions, he relaxed his mind as if falling asleep, without a single distracting thought. However, he felt as if he were in a completely pure energy circle, the energy gentle, seeping into his body bit by bit.

If Shi Changqing were an observer, he would immediately see his own appearance. At this moment, Shi Changqing's clothes had long been torn to shreds by the energy, leaving him naked. The serpentine patterns on his body, originally caused by genetic alteration, flickered back and forth.

He didn't know how much time had passed, but it felt as if Shi Changqing had taken a long, comfortable nap. When he woke up, he suddenly felt his body filled with endless energy. Although it was different from his previous energy, Shi Changqing felt as if he had returned to the state he was in a few days ago. He couldn't wait to throw a punch and vent his frustration.

He slowly opened his eyes, then looked around. He was still in the same spot, but Master Sebude had vanished. He quickly looked at the candlestick; the candlelight had long since gone out.

Shi Changqing recalled what had just happened, only to find that his memories had been greatly enriched. He learned the origins and everything about the three monks outside. Those three were actually from ancient times, and utterly wicked villains at that. Shi Changqing didn't care about that. While searching through the memories left by Master Sebude, he learned that the energy he now possessed was actually immortal power.

Shi Changqing tried activating his probing ability. In just one second, his consciousness covered the entire Jin Jin realm, even exceeding its boundaries—something he couldn't achieve even with his previous energy.

He gently closed his eyes, and his consciousness moved rapidly under his control. What shocked him even more was that his consciousness seemed to be a pair of eyes; wherever his consciousness went, he could see what was happening there. He only withdrew his consciousness when he saw a very unattractive couple having sex.

"Damn, does this mean I'm going to become a god?" Shi Changqing muttered to himself, stretching out his palm and thinking of fire. Suddenly, flames burst forth from his palm, but the flames seemed to be something on his body, completely unaffected by him.

"Haha..." Thinking of his renewed magical energy, Shi Changqing threw his head back and laughed loudly, his laughter almost lifting the roof. Fearing his laughter might cause some destruction to the place, Shi Changqing quickly suppressed it.

Looking around the room, Shi Changqing sensed that there was another person inside. He hurriedly walked towards the inner room. As soon as he entered the small room, Shi Changqing felt as if a force was blocking him at the doorway, which had no door, but he still forced his way in.

Inside the room, Shi Changqing immediately saw the only thing in the room, a large bed that looked like it was made of ice. Lying on the bed was a woman wearing a long silk dress. The woman's eyes were closed, and her face was rosy, but Shi Changqing sensed that it was a corpse.

Shi Changqing walked over, and only when he got closer could he see the woman's full face. Searching his memories, he realized she was also from ancient times, and according to her age at birth, she was only twenty. However, he knew nothing else. For some reason, Shi Changqing felt that this woman hadn't died at all, but was protected by a mysterious force, preventing her body from decaying.

"A resurrection spell? Looks like I can't use it." Looking at the extremely beautiful woman, Shi Changqing shook his head in frustration. Even with this magical power, he couldn't save her, leaving him quite helpless.

His consciousness searched everything around him, confirming there was nothing valuable or useful. Shi Changqing took one last look at the woman on the bed, reluctantly turning to leave. Suddenly, a wicked thought popped into his head. He walked to the bedside, lowered his head, and quickly kissed the woman's red lips.

"I'm sorry, because you're too beautiful." Shi Changqing wasn't a pervert; he genuinely wanted to leave this woman with a kiss before leaving. After kissing her, Shi Changqing turned to leave.

But before he could take two steps, he suddenly felt as if the person behind him had come to life. Without him having to control her consciousness, Shi Changqing could feel the woman on the bed's heartbeat.

"No way?" When Shi Changqing turned around to look at the woman, he saw that her long eyelashes were trembling. In just a few seconds, the woman opened her eyes and stiffly turned her neck to look at the stunned Shi Changqing.

"My lord, I...want some water..." The woman said as soon as she opened her eyes. Shi Changqing stared at her blankly, unsure what to do. Could this woman, like his Yuxiang, have been resurrected but lost her memories?

"My lord, what are you standing there for? I feel so unwell, come help me up." The woman continued, and Shi Changqing snapped out of his daze and rushed over, grabbing her shoulders to help her sit up.

"My lord, thank you." The woman looked at Shi Changqing, blushing with embarrassment, because she saw that he was naked, and that frightening thing was slightly erect.

"Uh, you're welcome..." Shi Changqing swallowed hard. He knew he looked disheveled, but he had no choice; his clothes had been torn and he hadn't found anything to change into.

"My lord, could you tell me your name? I will definitely repay you in the future." The woman said sweetly, the fragrance emanating from her body making Shi Changqing want to push her onto the bed and have his way with her.

"You don't recognize me?" Shi Changqing asked, puzzled.

"This humble woman was chased to a cliff by a tyrant from Lanjia Village and almost defiled by him. After jumping off the cliff, I thought I was going to die, but unexpectedly

, it was you, sir, who saved me," the woman said with a sigh. Looking at this beautiful woman who exuded a captivating aura, Shi Changqing couldn't help but think, "You don't recognize me, yet you keep calling

me 'sir.' Does that mean that's how all men were addressed in ancient times?" Shi Changqing thought to himself, having studied *Jin Ping Mei* for years, how could he not know the meaning of "sir"? "My name is Shi Changqing. May I ask your name, madam?" Shi Changqing asked with a smile.

"This humble woman is Li Guihua," the woman said, her face flushing and her breathing becoming rapid.

"Guihua, what a common yet beautiful name. You look so beautiful," Shi Changqing said, looking down at the blush on Li Guihua's face, and couldn't help but reach out and lift her chin.

"My lord, you saved me, and I am willing to repay your life-saving grace with my own body. I only ask that you treat me gently." Li Guihua looked at Shi Changqing with hazy eyes, and her words made Shi Changqing feel a little excited. He knew that women in ancient times valued chastity as much as life itself, and for her to be so proactive, she must be sincere.

Without daring to think too much, and regardless of whether the three monks outside knew what he was doing, Shi Changqing put his arms around Li Guihua and fell onto the ice bed. Fearing that Li Guihua could not withstand the temperature, Shi Changqing secretly used his energy to create a warm layer on the ice bed, enveloping Li Guihua's body, before lowering his head to kiss her.

Li Guihua timidly closed her eyes, her lips meeting Shi Changqing's. In that instant, Li Guihua trembled, and Shi Changqing felt a surge of excitement, but it was excitement at the prospect of being with an ancient woman. Even without physically testing whether Li Guihua was a virgin, her kissing skills alone told him she was a genuine virgin. Shi Changqing

quickly thrust his tongue into Li Guihua's mouth, swirling it freely. In no time, Li Guihua extended her delicate tongue to meet his. At this moment, one of Shi Changqing's hands began to caress Li Guihua's soft body.
