[Fantasy Martial Arts] The Legend of the Heavenly Evil (Complete) - 24

Chapter Twelve: Stealing Fragrance Together

After being unconscious for an unknown period of time, Xi Chunyu awoke with a start. Her first feeling was one of utter weakness and exhaustion, yet her body was slightly feverish.

As her mind calmed and her senses gradually returned, she recalled the events before she lost consciousness. Suddenly, she felt something moving across her body. Her body trembled, and her reason returned. Just as she was about to call for help, a pair of fingers pressed down on her acupoints, sealing her speech. Then, a voice whispered in her ear, "Don't move! Sister Xi, I'm sure you don't want your teacher to see you like this!"

Xi Chunyu was shocked, recognizing the voice of the person she hated most. Her gaze moved downwards, revealing a reality that filled her with unbearable shame—her upper garment was half-open, revealing her youthful, firm breasts, and her lower body was completely naked, her long, shapely legs, her round, beautiful buttocks, and even her most private vulva was exposed without reservation.

With her speech impeded by the pressure point, Xi Chunyu was unable to speak, yet the unbearable humiliation surged to her head, almost causing her to faint again.

Jun Tianxie unceremoniously slipped his right hand inside Xi Chunyu's clothes, cupping her full breasts and caressing them wantonly.

"Hehe! Sister Xi, don't be so quick to faint, first see who's in front of you!"

The man's wicked laughter behind her pulled Xi Chunyu back to reality. She looked up and saw her revered master, "Phoenix Butterfly" Wu Caixian, even more naked than herself, being held in a man's arms, her brows furrowed with desire—a sight she had never seen before.

"This…this is…!"

The successive shocks left Xi Chunyu almost unable to function rationally, but Jun Tianxie's mocking laughter still reached her ears so clearly.

"Nothing to be surprised about. My master and your master were former lovers. It's only natural that their love would rekindle after they were separated!"

"What did you say...! That man is your master? He and my master... how is that possible...?"

Questions filled her heart. If Xi Chunyu could move and speak at this moment, she would definitely rush out to question Wu Caixian without hesitation. Unfortunately, Jun Tianxie not only sealed her speech acupoints but also used the meridian-severing technique to render her powerless. Combined with his skillful and adept caresses, even in such an embarrassing and humiliating situation, waves of pleasure still faintly came over her, making her even more numb and powerless.

"You... you little lecher...! How dare you take advantage of me in my vulnerable state! I will haunt you even as a ghost...!"

The curse that could not be uttered could only flow out with her anxious tears. Embarrassment and shame overwhelmed her, but her eyes remained fixed on the open-air lovemaking that her master was performing with a strange man not far away.

"Ah! Fuyue, you're so amazing! You've got me all horny!"

Never before had Xi Chunyu heard such lewd and seductive words uttered by her usually elegant and dignified master. The shock was no less than waking up to find herself half-naked. She didn't even notice Jun Tianxie's hot, hard penis pressing against her private parts from behind.

"Good sister, I've come to take back what you owe me."

Before Xi Chunyu could fully recover, Jun Tianxie had already cupped her snow-white, full buttocks with both hands and thrust his hips into her.

"Mmm—"

Xi Chunyu's body trembled violently as she felt a hot, hard object violently invading her private parts, but she couldn't utter a sound, only helplessly shedding tears of humiliation.

"Oh! So comfortable, Sister Xi's place is so tight, it's making me feel so soft and hot!"

Jun Tianxie thrust his hips forcefully, penetrating deeper and deeper. With each inch deeper, Xi Chunyu felt a tearing pain, bringing tears to her eyes.

How she wished this was just a nightmare, a nightmare that would end soon!

Unfortunately, cruel reality was far from what she hoped for. Jun Tianxie began thrusting back and forth against her jade-like buttocks, and Xi Chunyu could only passively raise her stiff lower body to meet his thrusts, her vagina instinctively secreting lubrication to alleviate the pain.

"Hmm, Sister Xi is so wet down there! To be able to enjoy such a youthful and vibrant body, you're truly blessed!"

Jun Tianxie learned from Yun Fuyue that the current leader of the "Butterfly Alliance," Wu Caixian, was one of his former lovers, and a wicked idea immediately flashed into his mind.

"How about this, we master and disciple team up? Master will find a way to sleep with that middle-aged but still charming 'Phoenix Butterfly,' and I'll take a loss and accommodate her fiery-tempered precious disciple. We'll have a double round, how about that?"

Yun Fuyue was both amused and annoyed.

"You brat! What's going on in your head? How dare you talk about something so degrading to a woman's chastity so casually, and even expect your master to be complicit with you!"

Jun Tianxie said shamelessly, "What does it matter? Master still has feelings for Wu Caixian, doesn't he?

Life is short, so seize the day. If she still has feelings for Master, then this is a perfect opportunity for you two to get back together!"

Yun Fuyue shook her head with a smile, "It's all seventeen years ago. Besides, my abrupt departure back then must have left an indelible scar on Caixian's heart. If I were to recklessly appear before her like this, the chance of me being stabbed in the back would be much greater than getting back together."

Jun Tianxie was still undeterred and continued to rave about his words.

"I don't believe that with your skills, Master, you can't even win over the heart of a mere woman. If you can't even handle a woman like Wu Caixian, what right do you have to pursue my mother?"

To Yun Fuyue, this sentence hit the nail on the head.

"Little brat! How did you know...?"

Jun Tianxie shook a finger and sighed, "Master, every time you see my mother looking so distraught, anyone who isn't blind can see it! Whether you want to do it or not, a real man should just say it."

If Yun Fuyue, a shikigami of the "human realm," could be swayed by such a provocation, even Jun Nitian would doubt it. However, Jun Tianxie, who knew his master's personality well, successfully grasped Yun Fuyue's only weakness, which was also his own.

"Alright! If I don't show you my methods, you'll really underestimate me!"

Suppressing the urge to laugh triumphantly, Jun Tianxie and Yun Fuyue, this lewd master and disciple, quickly devised a plan. Yun Fuyue would first infiltrate the Yidie Alliance and set up the "Peach Blossom Miasma Array." Women within the array would be doubly susceptible to being aroused when flirted with by men.

With everything arranged, Yun Fuyue used a seemingly familiar technique she had hastily learned from her disciple, "Unmoved by Evil," to enhance her appearance before Wu Caixian. With the perfect combination of timing, location, and people, she finally won back "Phoenix Butterfly's" body and soul!

As for Jun Tianxie, things weren't so easy. Subduing Xi Chunyu took some effort, which was expected. He then stripped her half-naked and brought her to the scene where Yun Fuyue and Wu Caixian were "doing business." He used his Nirvana True Qi to send out hormones that would arouse her. Under the influence of what she saw and heard, whether Xi Chunyu wanted it or not, it was inevitable that she and Wu Caixian would be raped by their master and disciple.

The excruciating, tingling pain gradually subsided, replaced by waves of strange pleasure assaulting her brain. Jun Tianxie showed little mercy, thrusting wildly into her honeyed depths. Even though Xi Chunyu was no longer a virgin, her superior experience and skill in combat, coupled with her robust physique from years of martial arts training, prevented her from fainting.

"Oh... Caixian... does this... feel good...?"

"Ah... so good... you're doing it so well... harder... deeper...!"

As Xi Chunyu struggled with the conflict between reason and desire, she couldn't stop hearing Wu Caixian's lewd moans. The look of enjoyment on Wu Caixian's face, and the pleasure of their wholehearted union, was a visual stimulus more effective than any aphrodisiac for Xi Chunyu.

Jun Tianxie's low chuckle in her ear added fuel to the fire.

"Look how comfortable your master is. Put down your inhibitions and enjoy the pleasures of love with me!"

"Master, she..."

In a daze, Xi Chunyu realized that the pressure points on her body had been released, but considering Wu Caixian was so close, she dared not cry out, only letting out muffled moans.

Jun Tianxie smiled slightly, his hands tightly holding Xi Chunyu's firm, snow-white buttocks, moving quickly back and forth. Thick fluid clung to their point of contact, enjoying the pleasurable sensation of contact with her tender vulva.

Unable to bear the waves of pleasure surging through her lower body, and desperately trying to suppress her moans, Xi Chunyu, enduring the humiliation, turned her head and gasped, "Ah... gently... please be gentle..."

"Okay, does Sister Xi want a little more force? No problem!"

Deliberately misinterpreting her words, Jun Tianxie suddenly pressed Xi Chunyu against the tree trunk, pressing her breasts tightly against the bark, while he thrust into her from behind, the thrusts becoming increasingly intense.

"Ugh...! No... not like that..."

Her juices splattered, the sound of water splashing filled the air, Xi Chunyu's body trembled violently, her brows furrowed, her teeth clenched, and two streams of tears welled up in her eyes, a complex expression that was difficult to discern as either pain or pleasure.

By this time, Xi Chunyu's legs were so weak from the intense pleasure that she could barely stand, clinging to the tree trunk for support. No matter how much she cried and screamed, the hard, burning-hot penis behind her showed no sign of letting up, relentlessly attacking. Xi Chunyu's body seemed to have lost its control; saliva dripped from her lips, and her snow-white breasts were squeezed and deformed against the tree trunk, leaving countless red marks.

Jun Tianxie suddenly exclaimed excitedly, "Sister Xi! I...I'm going to cum...!"

Xi Chunyu panicked upon hearing this, mustering her remaining strength to desperately twist her body, trying to avoid the final, unbearable humiliation. But how could Jun Tianxie, on the verge of climax, allow her to escape? He gripped tightly with both hands, and with a few desperate, frenzied thrusts, he let out a low growl, finally ejaculating into Xi Chunyu's vagina, filling her uterus.

"Ah! Ahh! Waaah..."

Xi Chunyu's body trembled, her eyes widening in disbelief and confusion, her expression blank. Despite her sobs, she couldn't change the fate of Jun Tianxie ejaculating inside her.

Just then, Yun Fuyue and Wu Caixian also reached their climax.

"Ahhh! It's inside! It's all inside!"

"Oh! I've given it all to you! Caixian!"

Jun Tianxie withdrew his limp penis after ejaculation, pulling out several thick, white, sticky fluids. Sweat and love fluids flowed slowly from Xi Chunyu's opening, like the two lines of tears she couldn't suppress on her face. Then, Xi Chunyu suddenly felt dizzy and fainted, slowly sliding down the tree trunk to the ground.

On "Chuanyun Mountain," a once-in-a-century spectacle appeared today. A

huge tornado appeared on the mountaintop, which was shrouded in clouds for many years. It tore through the layers of clouds, shooting straight into the sky and creating a huge gap in the heavens, allowing light to shine through—a truly magnificent sight!

The camera zooms in, revealing that the two supreme masters of the Dao and Demonic factions—"Xuanzong" Xiao Wentian and "Yanhuang" Jun Nitian—are facing off on the mountaintop, an epic battle about to begin!

Even before they officially clashed, their naturally emanating auras already engaged in a preliminary clash. Each side channeled their inner strength, resisting the pressure of their opponent's. The powerful currents of energy from the Dao and Demonic factions clashed and collided in the void, producing a thunderous roar.

The two unparalleled inner energies intertwined, forming a massive current that swept straight into the sky—the origin of the tornado on the mountaintop! The

clouds parted to reveal the sun, as if even the heavens wanted to witness how the two on the mountaintop would resolve their long-standing grudges.

Fate had decreed that only one of these two peerless masters could survive!

However, Xiao Wentian was unaware that only sixty-five days remained until the hundred-day deadline for his formidable enemy, "Yanhuang" Jun Nitian!

Chapter 12, Part

1: Humanity Falls.

Jun Tianxie gazed at Xi Chunyu's half-naked, arched body, reeking of lewdness. She was barely breathing, her disheveled hair plastered to her sweat- and tear-streaked face, her brows still flushed, a testament to the lingering effects of her orgasm.

Jun Tianxie smiled with satisfaction. Although it had taken him considerable time, he had finally obtained Xi Chunyu's body.

While Xi Chunyu wasn't his type, she was, after all, the first "heroine" he had encountered since his debut, holding a special significance for him. Obtaining Xi Chunyu's body, in a way, was simply to satisfy his possessiveness.

Moreover, Xi Chunyu had once been the woman of "Sword Marquis" Lou Xueyi; stealing that woman from that detestable pretty boy gave him a sense of vengeful pleasure.

Xi Chunyu lay sprawled, her youthful, alluring curves fully exposed. Her waist was slender, her hips rounded, and through the gap in her loosened collar, her two full breasts were clearly visible, stirring Jun Tianxie's desire and almost making him want to engage in another round.

Jun Tianxie watched as Yun Fuyue reluctantly left Wu Caixian's mature, voluptuous body and began to put his clothes back on. Jun Tianxie smiled and gave him a victory sign.

"Master's 'Peach Blossom Miasma Array' is truly powerful. Invisible and colorless, yet it can unconsciously trigger the seven emotions and six desires within people's hearts. Recalling the way Wu Caixian looked when we first met, as if she wanted to devour me, I can hardly believe that she's the same person as the slut writhing and moaning beneath Master's legs." "

Wu Caixian's martial arts foundation is far deeper than Xi Chunyu's. It's impossible for her to faint so easily after just one encounter. Master must have intervened, but I didn't even notice. The old fox is indeed cunning!" As Jun

Tianxie pondered this, he walked lightly toward Yun Fuyue. When the latter saw him, a smile, a mixture of shyness and smugness, appeared on her face. Even after a long time, Jun Tianxie couldn't forget Yun Shi's smile at that moment.

The two closed to within a foot of each other.

Suddenly, Jun Tianxie felt a strange "experience," as if his soul and body had separated. He "saw" himself taking a step toward Yun Fuyue, but in reality, he remained in the same spot. His own body, which should have been his, was only a step away from Yun Shi when it suddenly attacked with lightning speed. Yun Shi was completely caught off guard. Before he could react, his heart had been forcibly ripped out of his body!

Everything seemed to freeze in time. Jun Tianxie watched helplessly as "himself" laughed as he ripped out Yun Shi's heart. He opened his eyes wide, trying to stop him, but he was completely powerless! He couldn't utter a sound!

Yun Fuyue stared in utter disbelief, his eyes wide, frozen in place. A bowl-sized wound ripped from his left chest, an empty hole from which blood gushed uncontrollably.

As if an eternity had passed, Yun Fuyue seemed to understand something, a sad but forgiving smile appearing on his face, before he fell backward.

"Poof!" Jun

Tianxie saw "himself" exert force with his five fingers, crushing Yun Shi's bloody heart into pieces.

Yun Fuyue, one of the Six Paths Shikigami and Jun Tianxie's mentor, known for his "human calculations conquering fate," calmly repelled the combined attack of Di Shitian and Mo Tuofo; he even faked his death by taking medicine to deceive the oldest "Hell Path" Shikigami—Huang Quan. However, even with his extraordinary abilities and unfathomable wisdom, he could not survive without his heart! This time, Yun Fuyue was truly dead, with no possibility of resurrection.

From beginning to end, even though it was clearly "himself" who committed the heinous act of killing his master, Jun Tianxie felt as if "he" was an outsider, or rather, an audience member watching everything through a glass screen, wanting to stop it but powerless to do anything about it.

Jun Tianxie suddenly realized that "himself" had returned to his original body, and everything that had just happened seemed like an unreal dream, yet it was an undeniable fact, evidenced by the bloodstained fingers on his own hands.

"Only... the Third Heavenly Evil could do such a thing!! Damn it!!"

Looking at Yun Shi's corpse on the ground, Jun Tianxie, after regaining his consciousness, was both shocked and furious. Having experienced multiple personality shifts, Jun Tianxie was almost certain that it was the work of the other personalities within him. Yu Tianxie didn't have that ability, so the murderer of Yun Shi could only be "him."

"Damn it! Third Heavenly Evil! Why did you kill Master Yun? What good did it do you?"

The furious shouts, emanating from his very soul, received no response. It seemed Third Heavenly Evil was still in a state of recuperation, having consumed considerable energy during his sudden attack to seize control of the body. Now, he was nowhere to be found.

"Damn it! This sneaky fellow, are you planning to kill everyone around me one by one before you're satisfied?"

It's no wonder Jun Tianxie was so enraged. After Jun Tianjiao was killed by Third Heavenly Evil, now even Master Yun had been murdered. He had few people he cared about in this world, yet Third Heavenly Evil had killed them one by one. It felt as if Jun Tianxie had also participated in the deaths of those who shared his origins, a feeling that intensified his suffering.

Yet, he was powerless against Third Heavenly Evil's existence.

Now was not the time to complain! With Master Yun dead, the "Peach Blossom Miasma Formation" automatically lost its effectiveness. Wu Caixian and Xi Chunyu would soon wake up, and perhaps even other experts from the alliance would rush over. Although he was confident he could escape, it wasn't worth stirring up another hornet's nest in these turbulent times. It seemed that the best course of action was to flee!

Although he had made up his mind, a trace of guilt flashed across his face when he looked at Master Yun's corpse on the ground.

"Master, I'm sorry! Although I didn't kill Bo Ren, Bo Ren died because of me. If you have a spirit in heaven, please bless me to find a way to eliminate the personality within me and avenge you!"

Another evening breeze blew by, swirling peach blossoms everywhere. Jun Tianxie disappeared amidst the falling petals, leaving behind two beautiful bodies and the corpse of his master, Yun Fuyue.

With Long Bufei, who looked like a defeated rooster, Fan Xindi sped away from the Mingyue Sect's headquarters, covering a full thirty miles before finally settling him in a grove of trees. Throughout the journey, the two hadn't exchanged a single word.

After a long, long time, Long Bufei finally managed to squeeze out a sentence through gritted teeth:

"Miss Fan, I am deeply grateful for your life-saving grace."

Fan Xindi's ethereal beauty possessed a certain aloofness from the world. Although she had saved Long Bufei, the latter sensed that she didn't truly care about her own life or death, as if saving someone was merely a task that had to be completed, unrelated to personal preference.

As expected, Fan Xindi's gentle yet cool voice said, "Hero Long, there's no need for such formalities. I'm merely acting on someone's behalf. The one who truly cares about your safety is someone else."

Long Bufei sighed, "So, Alliance Leader Xiao, while outwardly not stopping me from avenging Heroine Jun, actually doesn't approve of my foolish actions and that's why you entrusted her to protect me?"

Fan Xindi said calmly, "Regardless of Alliance Leader's motives, since you, Hero Long, know your actions were too reckless, as the highly respected 'Enemy of Demon Heaven' of the righteous path, every move you make is under scrutiny, yet you still lost your mind over the death of one person. Hero Long, ask yourself honestly, have you done right by those righteous people who trust and respect you?"

Long Bufei was speechless, only able to shake his head and smile bitterly, "Miss Fan's words are sharper than your 'Mysterious Zen Sword,' truly worthy of someone from the 'Bodhi Throne.' I have nothing to say!"

A strange glint suddenly flashed in Fan Xindi's flawlessly beautiful eyes. "

Does Hero Long also know about the 'Bodhi Seat'?"

Long Bufei thought to himself, "Finally, something unexpected has happened to my lady." He looked up at the sky with a reminiscing expression and said, "Three years ago, I had the good fortune to meet Master Wangwo. Although it was only a brief moment of enlightenment, it benefited me greatly. That's when I learned of the existence of the 'Bodhi Seat,' this sacred place beyond the borders."

Fan Xindi's clear and serene gaze gently lingered on Long Bufei's masculine face, and she said leisurely,

"So Hero Long has also met my master. He is truly a person of destiny. This trip of mine has really been worthwhile."

Long Bufei smiled wryly, "Miss Fan, if you could omit the title of 'Hero,' it would make this defeated general feel more at ease."

Fan Xindi said calmly, "Victory and defeat are common occurrences in war. Brother Long, there's really no need to take it too seriously."

Long Bufei lowered his head and remained silent for a moment, his eyes revealing pain and remorse. "

When I heard the news of Miss Jun's tragic death, I truly felt a grief that was about to burst forth from my body. However, amidst this extreme emptiness and sorrow, my martial arts cultivation actually broke through again. The feeling was indescribable, but I knew I had indeed become stronger! I thought that with my strength after the breakthrough, I would be able to fight Jun Yanhuang again, but I never expected that just being Yanhuang's eldest disciple would make me taste the bitter fruit of my first defeat in my life..."

Fan Xindi's beautiful eyes always carried a hint of etherealness: "Brother Long, you don't need to underestimate yourself. According to my observation at the time, the third-ranked in the world really did go all out to barely manage a draw with you, and in the end, you even used the life-consuming forbidden move of the demonic sect—Brahma's Annihilation Breath! Combined with the killing power of the Heavenly Will Blade, you were able to overwhelm Brother Long's amazing skill. However, such forbidden moves that harm both oneself and others will inevitably have extremely serious aftereffects, and are actually not advisable." "

Long Bufei looked at Fan Xindi's sacred and transcendent face with a slightly surprised expression.

"Miss Fan's 'Wise Enlightenment Eyes' are indeed extraordinary. No wonder she has been favored by Master Wangwo and the Seven Sects Alliance. We all know our own situation. Even if the third-ranked person in the world used evil methods to enhance his power, it is still an undeniable fact that he defeated me. It is not that I cannot bear the cruelty of defeat, but I regret that I could not avenge Miss Jun."

Fan Xindi's clear and endless beautiful eyes seemed to contain the tranquility of the Western Paradise.

"So Brother Long already understood. Then I, Xindi, have gone to unnecessary lengths."

Long Bufei smiled bitterly: "Not at all. I am still sincerely grateful for Miss Fan's life-saving grace."

Fan Xindi asked: "What are Brother Long's plans?"

Long Bufei shook his head: "Besides finding a place to heal my internal injuries, what other plans do I have?"

Fan Xindi said: "If Brother Long does not mind, I, Xindi, am willing to accompany you on your journey." For the first time ,

Long Bufei sensed that this fairy-like beauty, besides her aloof and unapproachable demeanor, also possessed a compassionate and caring heart.

He almost readily accepted Fan Xindi's "kindness," but ultimately shook his head, saying, "Thank you for your kindness, Miss Fan, but I believe I am capable enough to protect myself, and I dare not trouble you any further."

Fan Xindi's beautiful eyelashes, capable of eclipsing the moon, blinked repeatedly, followed by a smile:

"In that case, I can only wish Brother Long a safe journey."

Without another word, Fan Xindi turned and left. Even after watching her figure disappear from sight, Long Bufei could not find a single flaw in her slender figure. A sense

of loss, inexplicable even to himself, welled up within him, only to be instantly replaced by a murmured lament as he looked up at the sky:

"My internal energy is less than 30% remaining. To recover to full strength within thirty days and replace Miss Fan in the battle against the third-ranked warrior in the world, unless a miracle occurs... otherwise, I can only rely on 'him'!"

Mentioning "him," Long Bufei's face showed a desolation he hadn't even shown when he suffered consecutive defeats at the hands of the third-ranked warrior.

After a moment of contemplation, Long Bufei seemed to have finally made a decision. He straightened his imposing body, took slightly heavy steps, and left the forest. On

the fifteenth day of the fourth month of the third year of the Xuanwu calendar, at the summit of "Piercing Cloud Mountain,"

a strange phenomenon, as if a celestial upheaval, continuously assaulted this mountain, isolated from the world year-round. The air currents swirled wildly, sand and stones flew, even the clouds in the sky were pulled down, and there were faint rumbles of thunder and lightning.

Amidst the earth-shaking tremors and howling winds, two figures, like gods and demons, stood facing each other on the mountaintop, without a word or movement, but the air was thick with the heavy smell of gunpowder!

"Xuanzong" Xiao Wentian and "Yanhuang" Jun Nitian! Symbolizing the current powerhouses of the Dao and Demonic factions, there was actually no deep-seated hatred between them, and this was even their first meeting. Yet, due to their differing stances and ideologies, only one of them was destined to survive!

Suddenly, Jun Nitian's tiger-like eyes snapped open, emitting a piercing, strange light. An unparalleled, supreme, and domineering aura, capable of trampling all living beings, surged forth from him towards Xiao Wentian like a tidal wave.

A strange light flashed in Xiao Wentian's eyes, and he smiled slightly: "Approaching your end, it seems the sect leader's power has increased again!" "

True energy flowed freely from his heart, a resilient net-like energy radiating outwards in arcs. The moment it came into contact with Jun Nitian's overwhelming aura, the resilient energy net rippled like waves, gradually dissolving Jun Nitian's hidden demonic blade into nothingness.

Jun Nitian laughed, 'Brother Xiao's "Formless Primordial Qi" truly lives up to its reputation as the world's finest soft skill. If I had been able to unleash my full power under the influence of this energy, this battle would have been decided quickly. Now, it seems we'll be fighting for several days!'

Xiao Wentian smiled gently, 'I apologize for troubling you, Sect Master. However, although I am over sixty, I still have some attachment to worldly affairs. I'm afraid I cannot accompany you on your journey.'

Jun Nitian laughed, 'I'm afraid it's not up to you, Brother Xiao!' " "

Jun Nitian finally decided to make his move! Fate had decided that the battle between the two masters would begin with a single palm strike from 'Yan Huang'!

'Brother Xiao! Take my palm strike!'

Without Jun Nitian making any move, he suddenly traversed a distance of several feet and teleported in front of Xiao Wentian, unleashing a powerful palm strike!

Just as it was about to hit, Xiao Wentian retreated instead of advancing, moving backward with fluid grace. Although it was a retreat, it gave the impression that he might drift away in any direction at any moment, making it impossible to grasp his true form.

A smile appeared on Jun Nitian's lips, and he suddenly shouted: 'Go!'" The eighteen levels of "

Hellwalking" power converged through his meridians like a thousand rivers, unleashing a massive and fierce burst of energy from his palm. The refined, ruthless, and destructive true energy enveloped Xiao Wentian like a net, its power far exceeding his expectations.

Xiao Wentian's relaxed expression vanished. With a flick of his sleeve, a deep and boundless mass of energy appeared before him, like a bottomless abyss. It drew in Jun Nitian's destructive true energy bit by bit, gradually weakening and disintegrating it until it posed no threat whatsoever.

Jun Nitian, encountering someone who could directly neutralize his overwhelming killing power for the first time, was instead delighted, laughing loudly:

"Exhilarating! Exhilarating! In the past sixty years, Brother Xiao is only the second person to withstand my full-force attack. Truly worthy of being the head of the Nine Extraordinary Men!" "

Jun Nitian's skill has reached the point of complete control; he can sever ties at will and withdraw them at will. Xiao Wentian felt the pressure lighten, and the unparalleled force from before vanished without a trace. He couldn't help but admire him inwardly.

Xiao Wentian stroked his beard and smiled, "That was because the sect leader showed mercy; otherwise, this old body of mine would have been torn apart."

Jun Nitian's smile vanished, his eyes flashing with murderous intent. He coldly shouted, "The first round was evenly matched. Whether you can survive depends on Brother Xiao's true skill!"

Xiao Wentian sighed, "Does the sect leader really not give me any room to maneuver?"

Jun Nitian laughed loudly, "Under the King of Hell, there are no survivors! Brother Xiao, save your breath for thinking about how to counter this attack!" "

Jun Nitian's unwavering killing intent was naturally felt by Xiao Wentian, a peerless master of the same level. The situation had developed to the point he least wanted to see. Even with the 'Xuanzong' sect's' calm and collected cultivation, he could only, true to his name, remain silent and question the heavens.

Chapter Two: Removing Troubles

Xiao Wentian suddenly smiled slightly, his eyes lightly closed like an old monk in meditation, seemingly defenseless, as if surrounded by emptiness, yet faintly radiating a holy light. Even a master like Jun Nitian felt a strange sense of unease, unsure how to proceed.

In a flash, Jun Nitian understood and laughed, 'Well done, Xiao Wentian! Are you planning to give up the opportunity to confront me head-on and instead wage a defensive battle to delay until my death?'

Xiao Wentian sighed, 'Sect Master's fighting spirit and skill have reached their peak. I, Wentian, admit I am no match. My only chance is to test whether Heaven still favors Sect Master. I hope Sect Master will not blame me for being cowardly!'" Jun Nitian laughed loudly, "

All's fair in war. How could I dare restrict Brother Xiao's methods of fighting me? However, if you think that mere defense can withstand the hundred-day deadline, you underestimate my resolve and skill!"

Xiao Wentian shook his head, "With Wentian's talent, I can only come up with such a clumsy method. Fighting has never been Wentian's wish. I only hope that in the end, the sect leader and I can turn hostility into friendship!"

Jun Nitian said happily, "Brother Xiao is wise in his apparent foolishness, which is why he knows to use roundabout tactics and avoid direct confrontation with someone like me who is destined to die. If time permits, I really want to test the ultimate killing power of 'Hellwalk' to see if it can break through Brother Xiao's 'Formless Primordial Chaos,' which is said to be the best defense in the world. Unfortunately, I have limited time, and I also need to conserve my strength for that final enemy. Please forgive me for disappointing Brother Xiao."

Xiao Wentian was moved, "There is actually an enemy in the world that even the sect leader must take so seriously!

May I ask who this person is?" Jun Nitian smiled, a hint of murderous intent in his eyes: "

Brother Xiao, you're already on the verge of death. What good will knowing this do you?"

Jun Nitian unleashed a palm strike, seemingly a single strike, but the force was divided into two layers: one squeezing, the other pulling; one in front, one behind. In an instant, it was as if Jun Nitian had split into two people, attacking Xiao Wentian from both sides. Such demonic power was truly terrifying!

Xiao Wentian's expression changed, and he moved both palms simultaneously! He struck with his left hand and blocked with his right, the spiraling energy swirling outwards, using a circle to break a straight line, using a surface to swallow a point, forcefully shattering Jun Nitian's domineering demonic energy.

Jun Nitian praised: "Good! As expected of 'Xuanzong' Xiao Wentian, this move was beautifully countered. However, even more powerful ones are coming, Brother Xiao, be careful!" "

With his five fingers together, he unleashed a palm strike, the chilling, icy blade energy seemingly surging from the heavens and earth, relentlessly assaulting the enemy. The howling wind of the blade echoed from all directions, as if one were in a hell of a thousand blades. Even if the third-ranked swordsman in the world attacked with the Heavenly Will Blade, it would be no more than

this. Xiao Wentian's eyes were half-closed, his figure advancing instead of retreating, rushing into the place where the killing intent was strongest. His palms struck out one after another like countless butterflies chasing flowers, scattering towards Jun Nitian, layer upon layer, tightly packed, with an imposing momentum.

Jun Nitian shouted, "Good!" The blade's momentum changed again, simplifying the complex, a simple and unadorned strike aimed directly at Xiao Wentian. The blade's momentum sealed off all escape routes, leaving no way to avoid it. The most powerful aspect was that this strike was unpredictable, leaving the opponent with no choice but to fight head-on."

At this point in the battle, Jun Nitian's chosen tactic was flawless. He used absolute power and speed to force even a master like Xiao Wentian to abandon his strengths and engage in a head-on clash, giving the latter no chance to breathe. Victory or defeat could be decided at any moment.

Xiao Wentian smiled slightly, first releasing wisps of white mist from his body, like endless snowflakes, then pushing with both palms, gathering all the floating snowflakes and sending them towards Jun Nitian.

Jun Nitian was astonished to find that the energy contained in his palms, when striking the white snow mist emitted by Xiao Wentian, was like striking an infinitely extending lump of clay—a sticky, thick, and powerless feeling that almost made him consider abandoning his sword and fleeing. Xiao Wentian's ability to break his "Peerless Demon Blade" in this way was absolutely beyond his expectations!

"What a magnificent formless primordial chaos!" Jun Nitian exclaimed in genuine praise.

Jun Nitian admitted he had underestimated Xiao Wentian, the leader of the Nine Wonders, whose current display of power clearly showed that his hidden strength surpassed that of Di Shitian and Mo Tuofo. The

"Formless Primordial Qi," known for its continuous and profound flow, was pushed to its limit in Xiao Wentian's hands. Without breaking through this "Supreme Goodness Like Water" pure and tranquil Daoist body, there was no chance of taking his life.

No wonder Xiao Wentian was confident he could fight Jun Nitian for over a hundred days; in the current world, only he and Ding Chenyi possessed such ability. Unfortunately, Jun Nitian didn't have much time to waste.

At this moment, there were still sixty-four days left until "Yama Emperor" Jun Nitian's hundred-day deadline!

Fine rain fell from the sky, an old man and a young man stood quietly under a tree, the setting sun casting a dim silhouette on the earth, and the distant cries of crows returning to their nests drifted in.

The old man stroked the ancient patterns on the tree trunk with a dazed look, his eyes vast and deep, murmuring, "There's no way... there really is no way..."

The young man beside him suddenly looked up, his handsome face showing a distress beyond his years: "How can there be no way?! Aren't you omniscient? Isn't the Taishi family's library all-encompassing? How can you not even solve such a small problem?! You must know, helping me is the same as helping your daughter!"

"Just as you said, Zhen'er and I are in the same boat. If there really was a way to cure multiple personality disorder, do you think I would keep it to myself and not treat my own daughter?"

Taishi Danqing's words were absolutely reasonable, and Jun Tianxie couldn't help but show a disheartened disappointment.

Taishi Danqing continued, "With your intelligence, you couldn't possibly be blind to this. The saying 'concern leads to confusion' applies even to geniuses like you, can't it?"

Jun Tianxie retorted unhappily, "I'm here to seriously discuss things with you, not to listen to your sarcastic remarks!"

Taishi Danqing smiled bitterly, "I've never been more serious than I am now, and even so, I still can't think of any way to cure your strange, seemingly cursed illness."

"This isn't an illness!" Jun Tianxie didn't even have the strength to protest, "Although I don't know how to specifically explain this strange phenomenon, I'm certain it's definitely not a disease recorded in the 'Compendium of Medicine.' Don't get the wrong idea!"

Taishi Danqing said seriously, "Since you've also read the 'Compendium of Medicine,' you should know that mental illness is also an illness. I think it's perfectly reasonable to classify your symptoms as a type of mental illness."

Jun Tianxie grumbled, "Now you've become a doctor!"

Taishi Danqing said with his hands behind his back, "You came to me precisely to ask for my advice and prescriptions. " "What? How can a patient who doesn't trust doctors receive a complete treatment?"

Jun Tianxie spread his hands and said, "Then please tell me, what's your opinion on my strange illness? 'Doctor!'"

Seemingly oblivious to the sarcasm in Jun Tianxie's words, Taishi Danqing slowly took a few steps, turned around, and pondered, "Because of Zhen'er, I dare say my research on split personality surpasses that of any previous head of the Taishi family. After meticulous analysis and organization of the cases recorded in the 'Huangji Jingshi Dian,' I discovered that the vast majority of multiple personality disorder arises from the developmental process..." Especially during childhood, major upheavals or prolonged abuse can trigger the emergence of a 'personality' that contradicts one's original personality! Only in this way can the individual release the pressure they bear.

Jun Tianxie snorted, "If your so-called 'years of painstaking research' amount to nothing more than this, then I will be very disappointed in you." Taishi Danqing blushed and said,

"Of course, it's not just that. Since the cause of multiple personality disorder stems from experiences during childhood, the only way to cure it is to address the deep-seated wounds in the subconscious. The heart's ailment must be healed." "Heart medicine heals all wounds; this is an eternal truth."

Jun Tianxie waved his hand impatiently, saying, "That refers to your daughter's situation. Letting her know that the murderer who raped her has received his due punishment might truly resolve her split personality, but it might not have the same effect on me!"

Taishi Danqing nodded, "Your situation is far more complicated than Zhen'er's, so of course they can't be compared, but the root cause should be the same. Without resolving the knot in your heart, there will be no cure for your heart ailment."

Surprisingly, Jun Tianxie didn't refute this time, only wearing a resentful expression. In fact, how could he not know the problem he was facing, but how easy was it to resolve his "inner demons"?

Even disregarding the shocking consequences, including himself, he wasn't ready... He didn't have the confidence to make his mother accept him...

"Can I still be considered a complete 'person' now...?"

This was a question that often lingered in Jun Tianxie's mind during his midnight dreams recently. Before he even "knew" Yu Tianxie, he always believed he was the master of this body, and the latter was merely a parasite created through mutation during his growth.

This perception only underwent a dramatic change with the appearance of Yu Tianxie on the third day. He realized that he and the Yu Tianxie he despised were only fifty steps and a hundred steps apart! He and Yu Tianxie were truly birds of a feather! A "monster" born of no one and loved by no one!

This realization gnawed at his heart day and night like the teeth of a shark, but his pride was higher than anyone else's, and he would never show his sorrow and worry to others. Even if he was criticized for forcing a smile, he persisted in this way of life.

No one could understand him, and he didn't need anyone's understanding.

However, even an "outcast" like him had someone he wanted to protect. His mother, Yu Baixue, was the only person he respected and loved in this world. No matter what she had done to him, his feelings for his mother would never change. If he could, he hoped to spend his entire life protecting her.

However, he still had one major concern: the original personality of this body, "Tianxie"!

A terrifying existence he couldn't control or predict. He too had a deep affection for his mother, but that affection was intensely twisted and possessive, cruel and manic—all extremely unpleasant things. During the exchange with the third Tianxie personality, Jun Tianxie had glimpsed that guy's inner world, and the "darkness" that even "Evil Star" found disgusting and terrifying was absolutely indescribable. The existence of the third Tianxie was an immense threat to Yu Baixue!

Under no circumstances could he allow that third Tianxie to obtain Yu Baixue. Jun Tianjiao's fate was a stark warning; that guy showed no mercy even to his own sister.

He had to stop the third Tianxie. Without committing suicide, the most thorough method was to make the "Tianxie" personality disappear, allowing him to continue dominating this body, just as he had for the past seven years.

The question was, how?

Taishi Danqing looked at Jun Tianxie, who seemed to be deep in thought, and couldn't help but ask, "Judging from your expression, it seems you've thought of some ideas. Tell me about them!"

Jun Tianxie thought for a moment and finally said, "You should have heard of the place called 'Bodhi Throne,' right?"

Taishi Danqing was shocked and said, "That place that transcends martial arts, a so-called detached holy land that doesn't concern itself with worldly affairs?!"

Jun Tianxie smiled disdainfully, "Using the term 'detached from worldly affairs' in any place that exists in the secular world is inherently contradictory. 'Transcendent' is just a euphemism for people to mystify things. However, this damned place has some tricks up its sleeve, that much cannot be denied."

Taishi Danqing frowned and said, "What can the 'Bodhi Throne' possibly offer you?"

Jun Tianxie said, "Have you ever heard of the phrase 'the winds of afflictions'?"

Taishi Danqing said, "The six evils and six thieves that reside in the six senses and six consciousnesses, the method that can resolve all calamities, are collectively called the 'thirty-six winds of afflictions.' This is a Buddhist scripture, related to the 'Bodhi Throne'..." "What does 'Bodhi Seat' have to do with it?"

Jun Tianxie said, "I've only heard about it... Buddhism has thirty-six winds of afflictions, and Bodhi Seat also has a martial art called 'Thirty-Six Winds to Remove Afflictions Sword'! It's said to have no killing power of ordinary orthodox swordsmanship, but it has the effect of averting disasters and regenerating people. This statement seems mystical and cannot be entirely believed. However, some people believe that the so-called 'Sword to Remove Afflictions' is actually a spiritual technique similar to the 'Heart Cleansing Talisman.' The thirty-six winds blow away the memories of the human heart. When the memories are completely erased from the brain, naturally there will be no afflictions."

Taishi Danqing gasped and said, "This is a technique that is not even recorded in the 'Imperial Supreme World-Shaking Scripture.' How did you learn about it?"

Jun Tianxie said calmly, "This is a relic left to me by my master."

Master Yun... even until the very end, he was thinking about my affairs. " I will never forget this kindness..."

"Your master?" Taishi Danqing asked in surprise, "I never knew you had a master?"

"That's not the point we need to discuss." Jun Tianxie said, "I just want to know your opinion on this matter. According to the records of 'Bodhi Throne' in the 'Huangji Jingshi Dian', do you think such martial arts are possible?"

Taishi Danqing pondered, "The ancestor who wrote the 'Huangji Jingshi Dian' was indeed favored by the master of 'Bodhi Throne' and was granted an exceptional visit to this Buddhist holy land unknown to outsiders. However, perhaps due to the exchange, the ancestor's record of the holy land is very brief, and even when it is, it is mostly vague. It only says that some reclusive masters live there who can turn the rotten into the miraculous, and can make the impossible possible. Perhaps even things like memory manipulation, which we consider absurd, are commonplace for them!"

Jun Tianxie nodded and said, "That's exactly what I want to hear."

"Wait, wait!" Sensing the hidden intention beneath Jun Tianxie's calm expression, Taishi Danqing hurriedly asked, "Are you serious? Perhaps the 'Sword of Detoxification' can truly erase your memories and personality, but that also means you'll become an idiot who knows nothing. Is that alright?"

Jun Tianxie looked up, letting the fine rain fall on his face, its coolness seeping into his heart: "Sometimes, being someone who doesn't think about anything might not be such a bad thing."

Taishi Danqing gazed at him for a long while, then slowly said, "I always thought you were someone who only thought of yourself. It seems I was wrong."

“You read that right. From beginning to end, all I’ve thought about is myself.”

Jun Tianxie shook his head, paused, and then said, “But…”

Taishi Danqing asked, “But?”

Jun Tianxie smiled bitterly, “Nothing, I seem to have become more sentimental. Getting back to the point, do you know how to make contact with the people of the ‘Bodhi Throne’?” Taishi

Danqing said, “So that’s why you came to see me today… But the location of the ‘Bodhi Throne’ isn’t even recorded in the ‘Imperial Supreme Scripture,’ and the people in the Throne rarely venture into the martial world. The world is so vast; trying to find just one person is as difficult as climbing to heaven.”

Jun Tianxie said confidently, “Others may not be able to, but you definitely can.”

"Is this what they call 'fighting fire with fire'?" Taishi Danqing said with a wry smile. "Frankly, if you had asked me this question before yesterday, I really wouldn't have been able to answer you, but today... hmph!"

Jun Tianxie said anxiously, "Old bookworm, stop beating around the bush, just tell me your plan!"

Taishi Danqing shook his head helplessly and said, "Are you really not going to reconsider? Becoming an idiot is no joke!" Jun

Tianxie snorted, "Don't worry, even if I really have to face the 'Trouble-Free Sword' from the Dharma Seat, I'll wait until I've resolved your daughter's problem."

Taishi Danqing said unhappily, "You should know that's not what I meant."

"My mind is made up, no need to say more." Jun Tianxie shook his head and said, "What connections do you have?

Just say it!"

“Young people are just too impatient,” Taishi Danqing sighed. “The White Path Alliance’s secret protégé, ‘Guanyin Heavenly Maiden’ Fan Xindi, has already emerged from seclusion and even saved your sworn brother Long Bufei’s life at the Mingyue Sect. However, this Fan Xindi actually has another secret identity. She is the only member of the ‘Bodhi Throne’ in the past four hundred years to be officially allowed to travel the martial world.”

Jun Tianxie was so surprised that he couldn’t close his mouth: “Is that so? Why didn’t you say so sooner, you old bookworm!”

Taishi Danqing answered decisively: “I didn’t see you asking before.”

“You…!” Jun Tianxie wanted to get angry, but after thinking about it, he held back and said awkwardly: “Once you have a target, it’s easy to find people. I’ll set off now. Maybe the ‘Sword of Detoxification’ can kill two birds with one stone and even solve your daughter’s problem.”

Taishi Danqing knew that he was making it sound easy, but he was actually not very confident. Moreover, he was carrying an extremely heavy burden, which made his back look somewhat hunched.

Even after Jun Tianxie's figure disappeared into the misty rain, Taishi Danqing's mind remained hazy.

Chapter Three: White-Clad Ink Stillness . A

bamboo forest, a gentle breeze, a simple thatched cottage, a clear spring—all exuding elegance.

A white-clad figure sat cross-legged on the grass before the cottage. Dressed entirely in white—white hair, white crown, white robe, white belt, white boots—he was as still as a deep well, giving off an air of unfathomable mystery.

"What a rare guest! It's been so many years since we last met... I never expected you to come back to see me on your own initiative. Perhaps there really are miracles in this world...?"

The person wrapped in the white robe suddenly spoke, his voice like a clear spring flowing over stones, giving a sense of clarity and transparency.

"You should know that I wouldn't have come back here to see you unless absolutely necessary."

A familiar voice came from behind the white-clad figure, and a heroic figure appeared—"Natural Enemy"—Long Bufei! His face was pale with a hint of illness, and he stared at the white-clad figure with an indescribable complexity in his eyes.

The man in white chuckled, "Heh... When you left this place back then, you said you'd never see me again, even if winter thunder roared and summer snow fell. For someone like you to change your mind, it must be something extraordinary!"

Long Bufei stared at the man in white's back, his expression shifting several times. After struggling for a moment, he said, "I hope you...

can help me heal..."

"Oh?" The man in white raised his head, his body motionless, yet as if supported by a plate in the void, he spun 180 degrees, now facing Long Bufei directly.

Beneath his white hair and eyebrows, even his pupils were an eerie white, completely unfocused. It turned out he was blind!

"Your steps are unsteady, and your voice lacks strength. Your internal energy has entered your meridians three-tenths of the way and is flowing backwards. You must have met a worthy opponent. But with these injuries, as long as you rest quietly for three months and refrain from recklessly using your internal energy, you should be fully healed. Why did you need to come to me for help?"

The white-robed man, who supposedly lacked even sight, could pinpoint Long Bufei's injuries with such meticulous detail, as if he had witnessed them firsthand. Such skill was unmatched, even by the resurrected Hua Tuo or Bian Que!

Long Bufei, however, seemed unsurprised by the white-robed man's extraordinary ability; otherwise, he wouldn't have come all this way. He calmly said, "I must recover to my best condition within ten days, which is why I've come to find you."

The white-robed man smiled gently, revealing two rows of clean, white teeth: "Back then, you didn't hesitate to abandon the last two levels of the 'Prajna Subduing Dragon Skill' to venture into the martial world, claiming you wanted to save the people from suffering and that my reclusive approach was too passive. Later, you indeed earned the heroic reputation of 'Natural Enemy.' Over the years, do you still think your choice back then was right?"

The white-robed man was actually Long Bufei's teacher?! Long Bufei showed no displeasure at the latter's sudden change of topic; instead, a complex expression appeared in his eyes.

He sighed deeply, looking up at the sky, and said, "All things are impermanent. The line between the righteous and the demonic is sometimes only a hair's breadth. I was betrayed by what I considered my closest comrade-in-arms; yet, when fighting my greatest enemy, I held him in more respect than those renowned figures of the righteous path. What is justice? What is evil? I no longer know how to distinguish them."

The man in white nodded slightly and sighed softly, "You have indeed grown up. You are no longer the ignorant and naive boy you once were."

Long Bufei said proudly, "Although I say this, it doesn't mean I've given up my ideal of eliminating demons and protecting the righteous. If I had to choose again, I would still choose to leave without hesitation."

The man in white smiled and said, "You still have that stubborn and proud temperament, but that's your personality, it will never change until death, and that's why I taught you martial arts in the first place."

Long Bufei said, "Can you help me?"

The man in white said, "That depends on what kind of martial arts injured you?"

Long Bufei hesitated for a moment and said, "The third in the world, and his 'Brahma-Slaying Demon Blade'."

The man in white raised his white eyebrows: "Oh, so you've combined Jun Nitian's 'Peerless Demonic Blade' and 'Brahma Annihilation'—two extreme demonic arts—into one sword technique? While the self-sacrificing blade is undeniably powerful, it requires sacrificing one's own lifespan for a mutually destructive outcome, which I find unacceptable."

Long Bufei said calmly, "I didn't come here to hear you boast about your vast knowledge of martial arts."

The white-robed man shook his head and chuckled, "Still so impatient. The Brahma Annihilation Demonic Fire entering the body and burning the meridians should have killed the victim instantly. If it weren't for your 'Prajna Subduing Dragon Skill' which grants you innate..." "It's incompatible with the Demonic Sect's inner cultivation method; even if you survived, you'd be crippled for life. How could you possibly be here, full of energy, disturbing my peaceful cultivation?"

Long Bufei clenched his fists and said, "That's why I came back to beg you."

The white-robed man revealed an enigmatic smile and said, "What exactly is the reason that you must recover within ten days?"

Long Bufei said somewhat sadly, "I was defeated by... the Third-Ranked Master of the World, and was saved by someone. But that person agreed to a duel with the Third-Ranked Master a month later. I can't let my savior risk her life again for me, so I must recover to full strength as

quickly as possible to fight in her place." The white-robed man shook his head as he listened, "Your martial arts are roughly equal to the Third-Ranked Master of the World. Once he uses 'Brahma's Annihilation Breath' to forcefully boost his power, you will be no match for him. In the end, you will only suffer another crushing defeat. What's the point of healing your injuries then?"

Long Bufei trembled slightly with excitement, "This time is different... This time... I have a reason not to lose! Even if the Third-Ranked Master of the World uses 'Brahma's Annihilation Demon Blade' again, I am confident that I can..." "He'll perish together with me!"

The man in white stared at Long Bufei for a long time, finally letting out a heavy snort: "Perish together?! Is this the only pathetic fighting tactic you can think of? I don't remember ever teaching such a useless disciple!"

Long Bufei's handsome face, once full of righteousness, revealed a dejected look of defeat for the first time. He said weakly, "Before I stormed into the 'Mingyue Sect,' I always thought that my skills had reached the peak of my life. Even if I fought Jun Nitian one-on-one, I should have a fighting chance. But the truth is, even the third-ranked in the world didn't use 'Brahma Annihilation'..." "Even in a flash, I wasn't confident of defeating him, let alone Jun Yanhuang! Is the decline of the righteous and the rise of the demonic the inevitable fate under the great wheel of time?"

The man in white scoffed, "Don't overestimate yourself. How can one person's victory or defeat, honor or disgrace, be compared to the powerful collective will of 'fate'? Heroes and beauties, in the end, turn to dust; right and wrong, success and failure, all return to ashes! To give up without understanding this, in my eyes, you're still that naive young man from back then."

Long Bufei blushed, feeling somewhat embarrassed. Awkwardly, he said, "I know I was wrong! Forget the past, are you willing to treat me or not?"

The man in white coldly replied, "What a fine 'forget the past'! My good disciple, whom I trained for fifteen years, left without even an apology for his own ideals. I haven't heard from him for ten years, and the first thing he does upon returning is to ask me to treat his injuries without holding a grudge. Does he think I, Mo Zhi, am a saint?"

It turned out that the man in white was named Mo Zhi. Judging from his pure white attire, he truly lived up to his name.

Long Bufei's mind flashed back to the various training and nurturing Mo Zhi had given him when he was young. Although it was strict and arduous, without it, he would never have become the "nemesis" he was today. His nose tingled, and he almost knelt down, but he forcibly held back.

Long Bufei tilted his head back and said, "Whether you want to heal me or not, I will definitely fight the third-ranked person in the world again. Even if the result is death, at least I will have no regrets."

Mo Zhi sneered, "Are you threatening me with death now? If you don't want to live yourself, what's the use of healing you?"

Long Bufei sensed a change in Mo Zhi's words and quickly said, "I was just saying that in case of unavoidable circumstances, if possible, I would of course hope to be in the best condition. However, Miss Fan has already saved my life once, and I cannot let her risk her life for me again."

Mo Zhi's eyes suddenly flashed with a sharp light and said, "You just said that the person who saved you is surnamed Fan? Is it Fan from Brahma?"

Long Bufei was taken aback and said, "That's right. You know her?"

Mo Zhi said in a deep voice, "Is she from 'Bodhi Throne'?"

Long Bufei asked in surprise, "You've heard of that place too?"

From beginning to end, he had never addressed Mo Zhi as "Master." He really didn't know what had happened between the master and disciple in the past.

After a long pause, Mo Zhi's expression shifted between light and shadow before he finally said, "To have the successor of the 'Bodhi Throne' plead for you, your influence is greater than that of an emperor!"

Long Bufei smiled bitterly, "Miss Fan didn't help because of me. That's precisely why I can't owe her this favor."

Mo Zhi snorted, "No one knows you better than your master. Just from your hesitant tone, I know this matter is inextricably linked to women! I once predicted your 'many peach blossoms and many tribulations, destined encounters' in your birth chart, but you didn't take it seriously. Now you know I wasn't wrong!"

Long Bufei said awkwardly, "Isn't this the time to discuss this?"

Mo Zhi shook his head with deep emotion, "I only ever took you as my disciple, but in the end, the care you showed me couldn't compare to that of other women."

Long Bufei remained silent, a look of guilt flashing across his face, but that didn't mean he regretted his choice back then. If he had the chance to do it all over again, he would still leave Mo Zhi's side.

Mo Zhi looked up at the sky and sighed, overwhelmed with emotion.

"Fine, consider it something I owed you in my past life! I can heal your injuries, and I can even teach you the last two chapters of the 'Prajna Subduing Dragon Technique' that I didn't have time to teach you back then—'Tathagata Realm' and 'Void Realm'—but on the condition that you do something for me."

Long Bufei could hardly believe such a good thing existed, but he also had a vague feeling that the conditions Mo Zhi was about to propose would be extraordinary, yet he had no other choice.

"After all, I owe you so much. Whatever you ask of me, I will always find a way to do it for you, Master… Mr. Mo."

When Mo Zhi heard Long Bufei hesitate before saying "Master," a fleeting look of disappointment crossed his face, but he quickly regained his composure and said, "Don't worry! I won't force you to do anything against your conscience, nor will I ask you to do anything beyond your capabilities. The only condition is that when I make a request of you, you must not ask for any reason."

Long Bufei said anxiously, "Anything is fine! You should start the treatment quickly; I don't have much time to waste."

Mo Zhi snorted, "What's the rush? Do you doubt my abilities?"

"This...of course not."

Mo Zhi's expression suddenly shifted. "I can heal your injuries now, but you'd better get inside right now and practice the 'Mingwang Realm' technique on the 'Jade Bed' as before. That way, I can achieve twice the result with half the effort when I make my move."

Knowing his injuries, Long Bufei wouldn't dare disobey Mo Zhi's orders even if he needed the courage of the heavens. Without a word, he turned and went inside.

Mo Zhi sat calmly until the door closed before speaking, "What brings you here today?

One rare guest after another."

A cold snort came from behind him.

A red-haired young man in a black fur coat suddenly appeared behind Mo Zhi. His handsome, deep-set face possessed a bewitching charm, radiating a composure and restraint beyond his years. His flowing hair covered one left eye, but the remaining eye concealed a deep sense of sarcasm and killing intent. Just being near him felt so heavy it was almost suffocating!

Mo Zhi, without turning his head, said indifferently, "It seems this is the first time since the

Six Paths Reincarnation that a shikigami from the Asura Path has graced my humble abode with his presence!" This person was none other than Rakshasa, the Asura Path shikigami, known as the most cruel and warlike among the six shikigami of the Six Paths Realm, who had defeated Jun Tianxie and Dugu Suiyu

that day! He had been severely injured by the Third Heavenly Evil's "Sword of the Eternal World" in one strike, and was later saved by the Hell Path shikigami Huang Quan. However, the severe injury that would have killed an ordinary expert ten times over back then showed no signs of aftereffects on him now. The name "War Demon" was indeed well-deserved!

As soon as Rakshasa appeared, her cold gaze fixed on the doorway of the thatched hut. In a voice devoid of emotion, she said, "I never imagined that the infamous 'nemesis' of the righteous path, Long Bufei, would actually be your disciple..."

Mo Zhi's face hardened with coldness as he said, "This is none of your business, and I won't allow you to lay a finger on him!"

"Is that an order?" Rakshasa wasn't easily intimidated, and retorted sharply, "As one of the Six Paths Shikigami, I have no obligation to obey your orders..."

Mo Zhi was also a member of the "Six Paths Realm"? And one of the six great Shikigami? Was it because of Mo Zhi's true identity that Long Bufei refused to acknowledge him as his master?!

"This isn't an order..." Mo Zhi replied in a deep voice, "but this is my territory, and I won't allow anyone to engage in bloody fighting in 'Good Vision Heaven'."

Rakshasa shook her full head of red hair and chuckled softly, "A shikigami of the 'Animal Path' of the 'Six Paths' has a heart weaker than an old monk who chants Buddhist scriptures. I really don't know how Huang Quan chose you back then!"

Mo Zhi closed his eyes slightly, and a trace of otherworldly immortality emanated from his full head of white hair: "This is none of your business..."

Rakshasa said, "Fine, anyway, my purpose in coming here today is not to cause conflict with you. If we want to fight, there will be plenty of opportunities later."

Mo Zhi didn't speak; he knew the other party would definitely continue the conversation.

As expected, Rakshasa continued, "I've come to inform you that 'Humanity' Yun Fuyue is dead, and Huangquan wants the remaining shikigami to immediately return to 'Beyond the Heavens'."

Rakshasa's words were like a bolt from the blue, causing the usually calm Mo Zhi to tremble violently, exclaiming, "What did you say?!"

Judging from Rakshasa's attitude, it was impossible to determine whether he had been as shocked as Mo Zhi when he first heard the news.

Rakshasa glanced coldly at the thatched hut, saying nothing more, but Mo Zhi immediately understood his meaning, scoffing, "Don't worry, I've placed three layers of barriers inside. Unless it's me, the people inside won't hear anything from the outside."

Once he regained his composure, questions arose in his mind.

"Humanity has been missing for over seven years, so why is news of his death only emerging now?

With Yun Fuyue's wisdom and strength, who could possibly kill him?"

Rakshasa said calmly. "This was also the question I raised with Huang Quan back then. However, it is an undeniable fact that the Sacred Pearl belonging to 'Humanity' in the Great Mandala has dimmed and gone blind. And for this to happen to a shikigami, there is only one possibility—Yun Fuyue is indeed dead."

Mo Zhi closed his eyes and pondered for a moment, then shook his head with a smile. "Huang Quan must feel very regretful! He finally managed to gather five shikigami in this generation, and it seemed that the Holy Emperor's resurrection was on the horizon, but then 'Humanity' suddenly passed away before the Nine-Ren Mountain. It's clear that human calculations are always no match for fate!"

From Mo Zhi's tone and expression, one could not see much disappointment. It seems that apart from "Hell Path," the five shikigami were not truly enthusiastic about the Holy Emperor's resurrection.

Rakshasa didn't comment much on Mo Zhi's disloyal remarks, only coldly saying, "I'm only responsible for relaying the message. After that, it's none of my business here. I still have to rush to the 'Black Prison,' so farewell."

"Is the 'Hungry Ghost Path' also going to make a move?" Mo Zhi sighed, "Naraku hasn't returned to the Central Plains for ten years. If the 108 familiars really reappear in the world, it will be a catastrophe for all living beings!"

Rakshasa sneered, "You're really not suited to be a shikigami; you should switch to being a doctor."

"I was originally a doctor," Mo Zhi said solemnly. "To gain the healing power of the Six Paths Divine Power, I sacrificed my skin color and eyesight, acquiring this holy power to bring the dead back to life. But I didn't sell my soul to Huang Quan. My essence remains that of a doctor who saves lives, unlike you, a fighting ghost who lives for battle!"

Although Rakshasa was rebuked, her face showed no anger. She simply said calmly, "How you choose to live your life is your freedom..."

The implication was that her choice to live a life focused on fighting powerful enemies was also her own freedom. Different strokes for different folks; they wouldn't interfere with each other.

Mo Zhi seemed to understand Rakshasa's unspoken meaning and nodded slightly. "I understand. I will keep my appointment with Huang Quan on time."

"Very good."

Before the word "good" was finished, Rakshasa had already retreated, disappearing into the shadows of the bamboo forest in an instant.

Mo Zhi gazed into the thatched hut for a long, long time, then sighed deeply, filled with endless melancholy.

Chapter Four: Xuanzong Dies

on Chuanyun Mountain. The epic battle between the two powerful figures, "Xuanzong" Xiao Wentian and "Yanhuang" Jun Nitian, has raged for two days and two nights, and so far, there is no sign of the scales tipping in their favor.

Jun Nitian's domineering aura seems inexhaustible; with each strike of his "Peerless Demon Blade," the qi surges down like a thousand rivers. In this earth-shattering torrent of energy, Jun Nitian's demon blade seems capable of splitting the heavens and earth! All things perish, only the blade remains!

Xiao Wentian's "Formless Primordial Qi" has also reached its peak; his feet seem to tread on clouds, his robes and rosy mist fluttering around him, endless hazy mist enveloping him like ripples on water, making him appear like a celestial being!

From the clouds came a long chant of "Laughing at the Sky": "A solitary pavilion rises abruptly from the rushing stream, its aura pressing down on the hundred-foot tower of the Yuanlong. Ten thousand miles of wind and waves press against the sea, and a thousand years of heroes have built up the hills. Sparse stars and pale moon in the night of fish and dragons, old trees and clear frost in the autumn of wild geese, leaning on my sword, I sing a long song with a cup of wine, and the floating clouds in the northwest are the land of China."

Jun Nitian's sword technique suddenly changed. Each palm strike was incredibly slow, like a snail's crawl, yet the force it generated was as heavy as a mountain. The sound of tearing through the air was breathtaking, and those who faced it were utterly defeated.

This was the most energy-consuming fighting style, but it was also the only way to deal with Xiao Wentian's Dao Extreme Body!

Xiao Wentian let out a long roar, and the clouds within a ten-mile radius seemed to be pulled apart, transforming into a perfect circle of rosy clouds. A continuous, endless stream of energy emanated from the circle, barely resisting Jun Nitian's Heaven-Splitting Sword Force, resulting in a stalemate!

A flash of black energy appeared on Jun Nitian's face, and with a low shout, a nine-foot-long black sword energy suddenly sprouted from his palm. The old force hadn't dissipated, and new force arose, forcefully piercing into the boundless rosy clouds, like a giant wave bursting its banks, the vast true energy breaking through the cloud barrier. Xiao Wentian's eyes revealed the first look of terror since the start of the battle. His body trembled, and he spat out a mouthful of blood.

"After two days and two nights of fierce fighting, how could his skill not decrease but increase? Could it be...!" With Xiao Wentian's martial arts wisdom, he quickly figured out the key point and also understood the reason for his defeat that was about to kill him.

"Do you understand? I've only used ninety percent of my strength against you, my aim being to deplete your power. After two days of fierce fighting, your 'Formless Primordial Qi' is only at ninety percent strength left. Now, if I use 'Brahma Annihilation Breath,' I'm confident I can kill you within three moves!"

Amidst Jun Nitian's maniacal laughter, Xiao Wentian said incredulously, "You... knowing you have less than a hundred days left to live, you still dare to use 'Brahma Annihilation Breath,' a technique that consumes life force. Even if you win, it's tantamount to suicide!"

Jun Nitian smiled and said, "Brother Xiao, you underestimate my determination to win. I know that with normal combat methods, it would take at least a hundred days of fighting before I could have a chance to kill you. Unfortunately, I don't have much time left, so I have to resort to extraordinary means to finish this battle quickly! Brother Xiao, please be careful. If nothing unexpected happens, the next move will be the last move of this battle."

Jun Nitian's words were full of profound meaning; he wanted to plant a sense of defeat in Xiao Wentian's mind, that he was inferior to him from the very beginning. In fact, at this point in the battle, the two were evenly matched, and even fighting for another hundred days might not yield a victor. However, Jun Nitian's unexpected move immediately turned the tide.

The price, however, was his remaining life force.

"God-Slaying Seal!"

Jun Nitian's strongest of his three ultimate moves! Jun Nitian's palm turned black as he unleashed a palm strike. Xiao Wentian felt an unprecedented, overwhelming force rushing towards his face. He immediately focused his mind, switching from external to internal breathing, fully activating his "Supreme Goodness Like Water" Daoist Body, determined to withstand this life-or-death move.

Jun Nitian's giant palm grew larger and larger before Xiao Wentian's eyes until it filled the entire world, and Jun Nitian seemed to vanish in an instant; Xiao Wentian could no longer sense his presence.

With Xiao Wentian's Daoist cultivation, it was impossible for his mind to be so easily overwhelmed. The only explanation was that Jun Nitian not only surpassed him in the sheer power of his cultivation but also in his spiritual perception.

Xiao Wentian's defeat was inevitable.

At this moment, perhaps influenced by the power of Jun Nitian's "God-Slaying Seal," his supremely gentle protective aura suddenly froze for a fleeting instant. It felt as if time itself had been "sliced" apart, and his six senses vanished! It's impossible to understand without experiencing it firsthand.

Xiao Wentian was already at a disadvantage, and now this unexpected aura froze, weakening his protective power by a third. In the blink of an eye, Jun Nitian's "God-Slaying Seal" struck him squarely in the chest.

"Boom!"

Xiao Wentian's body trembled violently, blood spilling from his seven orifices. His once ethereal face became ghastly and terrifying; he lay motionless, like a clay statue.

After the attack, time seemed to stand still.

"Hahahaha…!"

Laughter pierced the clouds, and the one laughing was none other than the defeated Xiao Wentian!

Xiao Wentian laughed loudly, "Good! I didn't expect that the sect leader's power has already broken through the 'Manas Consciousness' realm and is even moving towards the 'Alaya Consciousness' realm of the heavenly beings. In this battle, I, Wentian, am utterly convinced of my defeat!"

Jun Nitian's face was expressionless as he said calmly, "The victor is king, the loser is a bandit. This is the only principle I have ever believed in. And defeat is the only thing I cannot accept. So, Brother Xiao, you should know that your defeat is not unjust!"

Xiao Wentian chuckled, "The victor is king, the loser is a bandit. This is the law of the martial world. Of course, I have nothing to say. Besides, I have lived to this age and there is nothing I cannot let go of! The only regrettable thing is that I cannot be friends with the sect leader, to drink wine and talk about everything. This is truly a regret!"

When he said the last word, his laughter suddenly stopped, his pupils lost their captivating brilliance, and his body fell backward. A long spray of blood fell into the air, becoming the last trace of Xiao Wentian left in the world.

The power of the "God-Slaying Seal" shattered Xiao Wentian's internal organs. While his exterior remained unscathed, his interior was riddled with wounds. Leaving him with a "complete corpse" in this way was Jun Nitian's way of showing respect.

How many return from ancient battles? A grandmaster, finally perished on the battlefield.

"Grandpa!"

Almost at the same moment Xiao Wentian fell dead, a cry of alarm came from behind Jun Nitian. He didn't need to turn around to know who it was.

He had met her once before on the "Duonao River."

Xiao Shiqing stared in disbelief at Xiao Wentian's corpse, tears welling in her beautiful eyes, her delicate body trembling as if she were a fragile blade of grass about to collapse.

Jun Nitian finally turned around, not for Xiao Shiqing, but for the person beside her.

Xiao Shiqing herself was already a stunning beauty, but the person who had climbed the mountain alongside her was no less beautiful!

A pair of deep, unfathomable eyes, coupled with a bright and dazzling face, possessed the pure and elegant temperament of a jade-carved

Guanyin, and an impeccably slender figure. Her flowing hair was like a gentle breeze caressing the rising sun in spring. Jun Nitian gazed at the graceful figure of the woman in white and smiled slightly, saying, "I never imagined that the successor of the 'Bodhi Throne' would be such a beautiful and charming woman! I have roamed the world, and few things have ever troubled my mind, but seeing you today, Miss, I have to make an exception and worry about what will happen after my death!"

Upon hearing this, even with the Zen-like composure of "Guanyin Fairy" Fan Xindi, she could not hide her shock.

Jun Nitian saw through her identity at a glance, and his words expressed his dissatisfaction that the "Bodhi Throne" had secretly deviated from its transcendent stance and begun to support the righteous path. Given "Yan Huang's" ruthless style of either being a friend or an enemy, how could he allow the two of them to leave this place alive?

Xiao Shiqing clearly realized this crucial point as well, her expression shifting from sorrow to vigilance.

Jun Nitian chuckled, "Why are you two so tense? How could I possibly do something so unbecoming of myself to attack a junior?"

Xiao Shiqing forced her tearful eyes to shift from Xiao Wentian to their formidable enemy, "Sect Leader Jun, your words are quite elegant. Who knows if this isn't just a delaying tactic, a depleted force after a major battle, a way to exhaust your strength?" Jun

Nitian chuckled, "As expected of the leader of 'Prison Break,' even in the face of grief for your loved ones, you can still maintain your composure and judgment. Brother Xiao, you certainly didn't choose ..." "Wrong successor! But you should know that I never like to exaggerate or make wild claims. Although defeating Brother Xiao has reduced my lifespan to only forty days, if I were to spend another half of my lifespan, even if the two of you joined forces, plus the troops your organization has deployed at the foot of the mountain, it would still be easy for me to annihilate you all. I wonder if you believe me, my niece Xiao?"

When Jun Nitian said this, he naturally exuded an aura of dominance that made it impossible for anyone to even have the courage to question him.

Xiao Shiqing was almost suffocating under Jun Nitian's domineering aura. After receiving news of Jun Nitian's duel with Xiao Wentian atop Chuanyun Mountain, she immediately mobilized her elite forces, even summoning Fan Xindi, who had just returned from the Mingyue Sect, to rush to the battlefield for support. However, she was still a step too late.

Even more unexpectedly, Jun Nitian's power seemed to have increased rather than decreased before the hundred-day deadline. Even with the abilities of Xiao Wentian of the Xuanzong Sect, she couldn't deplete much of the demonic sect's number one master's power. And even after a fierce battle, the combined strength of her and Fan Xindi, the successor of the Bodhi Throne, couldn't guarantee they could inflict any damage on this peerless demon lord.

Jun Nitian was right; if he truly wanted to leave, no one in this world could stop him.

Fan Xindi knew it was time for her to speak: "Sect Master, you misunderstand. The duel between you and Senior Xiao was a life-or-death struggle, each accepting their fate. How could we juniors dare to make things difficult for you? Sister Xiao was just confused by her concern, and her words may have been offensive. Sect Master, you are magnanimous and will not hold it against us."

Fan Xindi's words were extremely appropriate, leaving Jun Nitian with no grounds for attack, even if she wanted to use this as an excuse. It made one wonder if she had received some kind of strategist's training

in oratory. Jun Nitian's gaze swept over the two of them, a mysterious and profound smile appearing on his face: "You two are both very talented individuals. The martial world from now on belongs to your generation of young people. There's no need to consider me an enemy anymore. From today onwards, we will never meet again."

As soon as Jun Nitian finished speaking, he vanished without a trace before Xiao Shiqing and Fan Xindi, as if he had been suddenly swallowed by the void! Even Fan Xindi's "Clear and Wise Understanding" could not detect how Jun Nitian had left.

Fan Xindi let out a long sigh, exclaiming in astonishment, "How powerful! 'Yanhuang's' cultivation has reached a level unimaginable to ordinary people. No wonder even Senior Xiao's abilities couldn't hold out until we arrived."

Xiao Shiqing seemed not to hear Fan Xindi's words, walking alone to Xiao Wentian's corpse—her chest felt as if a huge stone was pressing down on it, and she wanted to speak, but only a choked sob came out.

"Grandpa..."

Two lines of clear tears slid down her cheeks. From childhood, she had grown up carrying the halo of being the granddaughter of "Xuanzong" Xiao Wentian. Others only saw her flawless, perfect image, but they didn't know that beneath her perfect appearance and demeanor, the pressure she endured was unimaginable for any girl her age!

Only in front of her family could she shed all her armor and be a girl who wholeheartedly indulged in innocent playfulness, without having to consider any success or failure.

But heaven had even taken away this last right from her.

Others only saw her unparalleled intelligence and beauty, unaware of the immense price she had paid to achieve her current success.

Now, even the only person in the world who truly understood her was gone. Looking back, what had all her painstaking efforts and sacrifices been for?

Xiao Shiqing stood for a long time, lost in thought, before Xiao Wentian's body. The cool mountain breeze intensified the feeling of being completely drained, the heart-wrenching sorrow growing ever heavier.

Fan Xindi said nothing, simply staying quietly beside Xiao Shiqing. Grief, like a cloud, gradually piled up around them.

"Grandpa..."

Xiao Shiqing called out to her loved one again, but there was no way to get a response—as if finally accepting this reality, Xiao Shiqing shed her usual cold pride and strength, collapsing onto Xiao Wentian's body and weeping like a helpless girl.

Although they successfully retrieved the "Grass-Knotting Sword" and the "Ring-Holding Saber," the process of reclaiming the weapons indirectly led to the death of "Sword Saint" Feng Xuling. Although Ding Shenzhao wasn't directly responsible, he was still inextricably linked to it—this lingering unease and melancholy haunted Ding Shenzhao, refusing to shake it off.

Meanwhile, Ziying, ever the cheerful companion, promptly offered words of encouragement to his dejected friend.

“At least you’ll get what you wanted back, and you can explain to Senior Ding!”

Compared to Ziying’s optimism, Ding Shenzhao couldn’t laugh at all: “No matter what, Feng Xuling was killed by that despicable Ye Meixie because of me.”

Ziying sighed: “In that chaotic situation, it was already a great fortune that the two of us were able to leave Sword Tower unscathed. You didn’t see Xuanwei’s almost murderous gaze. I still wonder why he agreed to let us leave.”

Ding Shenzhao’s thoughts were pulled back by Ziying’s words to half an hour after Feng Xuling’s death. On the way down the mountain, the two of them were surrounded by the angry disciples of “Sword Tower.” It seemed that a bloody battle was inevitable when suddenly a thin, wiry old man in gray robes with silver hair and beard appeared in the scene. His narrow, needle-like eyes swept over everyone, and the elders of the tower, including “Long Sky Sword” Xuanwei, immediately fell silent.

The two of them were able to descend the mountain safely because the old man ordered them to leave.

Ziying pondered, "But... in that situation, to be able to make the Sword Tower disciples, blinded by rage, obediently follow orders, proves that the old man's status within the tower must be extraordinary. Yet I've never heard of such a powerful figure in the Sword Tower... Hmm, it seems

there are still quite a few hidden forces within the 'White Path Alliance' that haven't surfaced yet!"

In a way, Ding Shenzhao completely agreed with Ziying's opinion. When the unknown old man's gaze swept over the two of them, they felt an involuntary tremor in their hearts.

A sword forged through countless trials! This was the deep impression both of them had of the old man!

Ding Shenzhao touched the sharkskin sword sheath on his back, a sense of fulfillment, like a part of himself that had been lost and then regained, did indeed soothe the unhappiness in his heart to some extent.

"What are your plans?"

Ziying smiled wryly. "I've been wandering around for a while now, and my master has probably already issued a warrant for my arrest. It's time for me to return to the 'Underworld.' Of course, you'll go back to the Tree Sea to see your senior first, right?"

Ding Shenzhao nodded without answering. Ziying was used to his silent nature and didn't mind, extending his hand.

He said heartily, "Then let's part ways here. Next time I can sneak out, I'll come to the Tree Sea to find you and Senior Ding!"

This straightforward approach was what made Ziying so admirable.

Ding Shenzhao smiled slightly, extending his right hand to shake hands firmly with him. "Take care."

Ziying laughed heartily and recited a long poem: "Jade bottle holds fine wine, I'll see you off for miles. My horse is tethered under the willows, I'll hold my cup on the main road. I'll see the green water on the horizon, and the green mountains on the sea. When the fun is over, we'll part ways, why bother with drunken farewells?"

The echo lingered for a long time, but he was already miles away.

Ding Shenzhao pondered the last two lines of Ziying's poem, "When the fun is over, we part ways; why bother with drunken farewells?" He seemed to understand the profound meaning but not quite. After a moment, he turned and walked in the opposite direction.
