[Fantasy Martial Arts] The Legend of the Evil God (Complete) - 7

Chapter Five: A glimmer of light,

like twinkling stars, adorns the endless night sky. Compared to the eternal vastness of the heavens, the struggles of humankind seem insignificant. Yet, many still eagerly vie for power and profit, rushing headlong into the torrent of desire. This is human nature, something even the creator gods—if they truly exist—cannot change.

A faint, radiant light, growing stronger, shines brightly atop the dark peak. Strangely, this light, though bright, is not blinding; rather, it resembles the legendary golden lamp.

Jun Tianxie, arguably the most "unproductive" protagonist in history, was casually lying on the ground, gazing at the stars with a straw in his mouth, lost in bizarre thoughts no one could understand. Suddenly, he caught sight of this light and, startled, spat out the straw.

"This is… could it be?!" A look of astonishment appeared on his slightly wickedly handsome face—an emotion that couldn't be feigned, but genuine shock.

"Heavenly Light Flame?! How could he be here!" Muttering to himself, gazing at the light so faintly visible in the darkness, the words the old immortal had once spoken were reopened in the drawer of his memory.

"In this world, only three people have the power to fight me: the leader of the Nine Extraordinary Men, 'Xuanzong' Xiao Wentian; the master of the 'Heavenly Palace,' 'Heavenly King' Di Shitian; and the third is…"

He forced his thoughts to stop at this moment. Every word the old immortal had spoken was like a wound he didn't want to recall, but unfortunately, the more he chose to forget, the deeper the pain became.

At this moment, he no longer had the leisure to gaze at the stars. He stood up, focused his gaze, circulated the power of the "Evil Nirvana" throughout his body, took a deep breath, and grinned, saying, "The martial world is so vast, yet I've run into one of the three giants of the Demonic Sect, 'Heavenly King' Di Shitian. If I miss this opportunity, wouldn't it be a waste of God's blessing?" He then moved with the grace of a swallow soaring through the air, plunging into the unknown dangers of the darkness.

"Though I speak of Nirvana, it is not true annihilation. All dharmas originate from their very nature, always in a state of tranquility..."

The solemn and dignified chanting of sutras stood out prominently in the quiet moonlight. An old monk with white eyebrows and drooping eyes, dressed in a gray robe, stood beside a handsome young monk. The chanting came from the old monk's mouth. Compared to the tense expression of the young monk beside him, the old monk was like a rock or a withered tree, indifferent to everything around him.

"All phenomena are empty, all forms are illusions... Maitreya, can't you see through this?"

The young monk called "Maitreya" trembled and hurriedly clasped his hands in apology to the old monk, saying, "This disciple is unworthy and has never been able to reach the state of 'unmoved by the eight winds' that Master speaks of."

Maitreya? Isn't that "Bodhi'er" Maitreya? And to be called Master by Maitreya, could this old monk be Prajna, the leader of the "Zen Sect" among the seven factions of the White Path Alliance?

Prajna's old face remained calm as he sighed, "I can't blame you. How many people in the world can truly reach the state of no joy or sorrow?" Suddenly, his white eyebrows arched, and he recited, "It's just past midnight. The Palace Master is indeed a man of faith."

A chilling sound, like the clashing of drums and the shattering of silver bottles, resounded from the night sky, causing the listener's heart to pound uncontrollably, as if it were about to burst out of his chest.

"Of course! Of course! I'm truly sorry to have troubled you, Master, to wait so long." The radiant light approached the two figures, its movement imperceptible yet incredibly fast, arriving before Prajna and his disciple in an instant.

Maitreya had never seen such a luminous "thing" before! Moreover, this "thing" could speak, adding to his tension before he could ascertain its origins.

The light, about ten feet in diameter, froze before the master and disciple. Bright yet not dazzling, it contained a faint human figure, though its gender and age were indistinguishable. It exuded an aura of absolute dominance, inspiring awe and reverence.

Maitreya suddenly remembered a legendary figure, and cold sweat involuntarily dripped from his forehead: "The Undying Body of Light! Could the newcomer be none other than the Lord of the Heavenly Palace, the Heavenly King Indra?!" He could hardly believe what he was seeing, but recalling his master's unusual reactions and behavior throughout the day, his suspicions were now confirmed.

The leader of the "Zen Sect" and the Heavenly King of the "Heavenly Palace"! The two giants of the Daoist and Demonic factions had actually met on this moonlit mountain peak—it would surely be sensational news throughout the martial arts world.

From within the ball of light came the same voice that had made Maitreya's heart pound uncontrollably, its melody fluctuating wildly, a sound that stirred restlessness within: "Master, knowing that today is a certain death, you still gladly keep your appointment. I admire you greatly."

Prajna's reaction was not as agitated as Maitreya's. He simply lowered his eyes and clasped his hands in prayer, saying, "Amitabha, if this old monk does not go to hell, who will? If I can guide you to take refuge in the Buddha, what is the value of this wretched body of mine?"

Prajna's words were like a sudden enlightenment, causing Maitreya, who had been experiencing alternating hot and cold sensations as if in a fiery kiln or an icy cave, to shudder. A clear stream flowed through his meridians, relieving him of his previous pain.

It was Indra, the "Heavenly King" hidden within the ball of light, who laughed, "Master, what profound 'awakening Buddhist words' you speak!"

Only then did Maitreya realize he had nearly fallen into the enemy's trap, and an uncontrollable fear welled up within him. The "Heavenly King," without moving his limbs, had almost plunged him into an abyss of no return with just a utter utterance.

Little did he know that this feeling was precisely the effect Indra had deliberately created; as long as he harbored fear of tonight's events, there was no hope of further progress in his martial arts in this lifetime.

Suddenly, Prajna asked, "Maitreya, once the inner demon is planted, how

can it be resolved?" Maitreya trembled, and replied in bewilderment, "The inner demon arises from the mind; no one can resolve it."

Prajna said in a deep voice, "Is it that no one can resolve it, or that there is no mind to resolve it?"

Maitreya trembled again, his eyes regaining their clarity, as if swept by rain: "The inner demon arises from the mind; no one can resolve it. If you wish to resolve it, only your own mind can." Maitreya bowed respectfully to Prajna and said loudly, "Disciple understands; thank you for your guidance, Master."

Prajna said calmly, "I have not taught you, so how could you have learned? When the mind turns to non-thought, karmic obstacles will naturally disappear."

Maitreya said, "Disciple understands." After saying this, he lowered his head and retreated to Prajna's side, his expression returning to its original composure, and he didn't even glance at Indra again.

For the first time, Indra's tone revealed a hint of admiration: "Master, your Buddhist teachings are indeed profound. I have truly witnessed your wisdom today."

Prajna remained in a meditative state, her expression neither sorrow nor joy: "Palace Master, you are too kind. This humble disciple does not know what I have done to offend you, that you would immediately use 'Heavenly Demon's Echo' on me?"

Even Maitreya, having received Prajna's guidance and just entering a state of meditative absorption where "the five aggregates are empty," was startled by these words. Could it be that his master's meeting with Indra, the Buddha and demon, was caused by him?

Indra said, "Was it your disciple who killed one of my Four Flying Heavens, Zengzhangtian?"

Prajna calmly replied, "The thirty-seven lives of my sect's branch, 'Western Pure Land,' were the work of your subordinates."

Indra let out a cold, sharp laugh, "Even if you add up the lives of all the bald monks of your 'Zen Sect,' they wouldn't be worth a single hair of any ordinary disciple of mine."

Prajna waved her hand to stop Maitreya, who was enraged by Indra's words, and calmly said with her palms together, "Amitabha, all beings are equal; how can life be distinguished by its value?"

Indra laughed, "How could it not be? Those who obey me prosper, those who oppose me are degraded; the rise of demons and the decline of the Way are the unchanging truths of heaven and earth."

Prajna shook her head, "Palace Master has fallen deeply into demonic possession; one cannot speak with a frostworm."

Indra's tone changed, and the surrounding atmosphere immediately became murderous: "Then save your energy for talking about Buddhism and Zen; spend more time protecting the lives of you and your disciple!"

Prajna said, "Palace Master, please reconsider. Unless absolutely necessary, this old monk is unwilling to fight you."

Indra said decisively, "Fine! Then hand over your disciple, and I'll leave without another word."

Prajna replied without hesitation, "I cannot comply."

"Then this time next year will be the anniversary of your death!" After saying this last sentence, the protective light surrounding Indra suddenly intensified. The "Heavenly King" was about to make his move!

Maitreya could no longer bear it. He swung his staff and stood between the two, shouting, "It was I who killed Changzhangtian! If the Palace Master wants to fight, then fight me!"

Indra laughed, "Little monk, you are quite protective of your master. If your master were to fight me, he might have a 30% chance of winning. But if it were you, you wouldn't even have a 10% chance. Even so, do you still want to try?"

Indra's confident words sounded like a foregone conclusion. If confidence is built on strength, then Indra's words were not unfounded. With his status as "Heavenly King," he was indeed worthy of such confidence and strength.

However, young and fearless, Maitreya brandished his staff and declared to Indra, "To defend the righteous path and vanquish demons, even death is worthwhile!"

Indra laughed, "Little monk, you certainly have a lot of spirit. But I fear that while you may be willing to die, your master is reluctant to let you die so soon."

Prajna sighed and finally stood up, "Let this old monk experience the ultimate techniques of the 'Heavenly Palace.'"

Maitreya turned around in shock, "Master! No! Your body..."

Prajna interrupted him, "Regardless of victory or defeat, Maitreya, you must not interfere in this battle."

Maitreya said anxiously, "But Master, you...!"

"This is the sect leader's order!" Prajna said decisively, "Maitreya, the eighteenth generation disciple of the 'Zen Sect,' obey!"

Maitreya trembled slightly, then knelt down and bowed his head, saying, "Disciple accepts the order."

"I know it might be a bit premature for you to shoulder this responsibility now..." Prajna gently touched Maitreya's forehead with one hand, his eyes filled with compassion and reluctance: "However, these are extraordinary times, and there is no other choice. I hereby declare that if anything happens to me tonight, Maitreya, you will be the next sect leader."

Maitreya was greatly surprised and said: "Sect Leader, why do you say this?! This disciple is young and lacks virtue, how can I shoulder the heavy responsibility of sect leader..."

Prajna shook his head and said: "There is no one in the sect with more potential than you. To glorify our 'Zen Mind Sect'..." "This heavy responsibility can only be shouldered by you. I trust my own judgment. Do you not trust yourself?"

Maitreya continued to shake his head, tears welling in his eyes. "Disciple...disciple..."

Prajna sighed, "If you do not agree, it means that the fate of our sect ends with my generation. Then I will become a sinner of Zen for all time, and die with my eyes open in disgrace."

Maitreya gritted his teeth and held back his tears, "Sect Leader, please do not say such things. Disciple...disciple will obey!"

Prajna nodded, "Very good." He withdrew his palm and turned to face Indra.

Throughout, Indra had remained a detached observer, only speaking now: "Have you finished making your final arrangements?"

Prajna clasped her hands in thanks, saying, "I must thank the Palace Master for giving this old monk this much time."

Indra said indifferently, "No need for formalities. I've always believed in being generous to those on the verge of death."

Prajna said, "Although I passed on my alms bowl on the eve of battle, I had

no intention of simply waiting to die. If the Palace Master wants to save this wretched life of mine, I'm afraid it will take some effort." Indra said nonchalantly, "If it were the old you, perhaps it would have taken some effort for me, but after being poisoned, if you want to make a move, I can kill you within three moves."

Maitreya was shocked and said, "You... how did you know my master was poisoned? Could it be that you are..."

Indra interrupted Maitreya before he could finish speaking: "Little monk, don't be mistaken. I wouldn't stoop to such petty tricks as poisoning. Your master's face is blackened and his pupils are purple, proof that he's been poisoned. Even though he suppressed the poison with the orthodox Buddhist 'Great Fearlessness Technique,' his power is only seventy percent of what it was. How could he possibly be a match for me?"

Prajna clasped his hands together and sighed softly, "Palace Master, your insight is truly remarkable. I admire you..."

Maitreya couldn't help but say, "You...you knew my master was poisoned, yet you still forced him to act. Isn't that taking advantage of someone in distress?"

Indra laughed, "I am a demon! Taking advantage of someone in distress is the true nature of the demonic sect. What's so strange about that?" Indra finally revealed his true nature as a ruthless demon. No matter how tolerant and generous he appeared, once he decided to act, he would show no mercy! Those who obstruct my hegemony will be killed without mercy!

Indra made his move amidst the blazing light. Though it was called a "move," no one actually saw how he "made his move." The dazzling light had obscured everything within three feet of him; the only thing Prajna and his disciple Maitreya could see was the light itself—a blinding brilliance and a fierce, powerful current capable of splitting mountains.

Prajna slammed his palm on Maitreya's shoulder, shouting, "Go!" while he himself faced the overwhelming light.

Maitreya cried out urgently, "Master, don't!" but his body was involuntarily pushed three zhang away.

The expanding light quickly engulfed Prajna's body. Prajna felt as if there was a blazing fireball within the light, capable of burning his very soul to ashes. He knew this was the astonishing martial art of "Heavenly King" Indra, the one who dominated the demonic sects—"Heavenly Radiant Fire"! A "Radiant Fire" capable of burning the victim's internal organs without leaving a trace on the outside!

Prajna took a deep breath, channeling his "Great Fearless Divine Skill" to temporarily suppress the deadly poison of the "Five Signs of Decay" within his body. He still managed to retain about 70% of his fighting strength to face his formidable foe. This didn't mean his skill surpassed his "natural enemy," Long Bufei; it was simply due to the different "characteristics" of their respective cultivation methods.

However, facing "Heavenly King" Di Shitian, one of the three giants of the Demonic Sect, even at his peak, Prajna would struggle to win. Fighting with only 70% of his power would be certain death.

Knowing he would die, he had no choice but to fight. Prajna roared, unleashing a palm strike. The strike was straight, yet the force of his palm, like the all-encompassing Buddha-nature, was all-pervasive and boundless, its energy flowing freely, omnipresent yet utterly elusive.

"Patience and generosity, transcending all suffering?!" Maitreya, seeing his master unleash such a profound technique, was not pleased but astonished. Only he knew that Prajna had already given up hope of survival in this battle.

Indra laughed heartily, "Your supreme Buddhist vows have actually reached the eighth level. It seems this battle will be quite interesting."

Before he could even make a move, a white light flashed across the night sky like a shooting star, and the surrounding space suddenly exploded. A powerful shockwave, without warning, filled everything within a five-zhang radius. The intense light and waves crashed down from all directions, instantly shattering the Buddhist barrier that Prajna had painstakingly erected.

"Ugh!" Prajna spat out a mouthful of blood. His meridians felt like they had been stripped naked and exposed to the scorching desert sun. Fortunately, he quickly channeled his "patience and generosity" vow, temporarily separating his spirit from his body. With a light touch of his toes, he retreated like an arrow released from a bow, flying seven or eight zhang away in one breath. Upon landing, his body shuddered violently, and he spat out another mouthful of blood.

"Master!!"

Prajna's white beard was soaked red with blood, but he waved his hand to stop the anxious Maitreya from going to see him, and said in a deep voice, "I am fine..." His eyes were fixed on Indra within the ball of light.

Indra was calm and composed, as if he already considered Prajna as his own: "I have said that even if you suppress your injuries with the power of Buddhist vows, I can still kill you within three moves."

Jun Tianxie, who was watching the battle from the sidelines, almost had his eyes pop out of his head. He clicked his tongue and thought to himself, "This Di Shitian's 'Heavenly Light Fire' is so powerful! I'm afraid it can't compete with the old immortal's 'Hellwalk'."

A person's name is like a tree's shadow. The object of his spying was "Heavenly King" Di Shitian, one of the few people in the Demonic Sect who could be compared with the number one person in the world, "Yanhuang" Jun Nitian. Although he had absolute confidence in his ability to conceal his presence through "Evil Path Nirvana", Jun Tianxie still only dared to hide and watch from a distance. He dared not approach within thirty feet of the battle circle, for fear that he might accidentally provoke a powerful enemy that he could not afford to offend.

"That old monk is no match for Di Shitian, he's doomed. But that delicate-looking young monk doesn't seem to be short-lived, he probably won't die young. However, people from the Demonic Sect always kill without mercy, they'll wipe out the weeds completely. What method can that young monk use to save his life? I'm quite interested to know..."

He muttered to himself as if it were none of his business. The fight in front of him only aroused his interest because the identities of the people involved were too extraordinary. As for getting involved in other people's battles, which was a thankless task, Jun Tianxie certainly wouldn't consider it.

Looking down at Prajna, who seemed to have made a decision, she turned to Maitreya and shouted, "Maitreya, don't forget the mission I entrusted to you. You must leave here alive and tell the world about tonight's victory!"

The ball of light from Indra instantly enveloped Prajna, moving so fast it seemed the distance between them didn't exist. "That won't do. You and your master will both die here tonight."

Prajna shouted, "Go!" She pushed out with both palms, the airflow forming a huge circle that enveloped Indra.

"Useless!" A cold, faint laugh seemed like the call of death. A hand seemed to move subtly within the ball of light, and then a light screen appeared before Indra. Prajna's energy collided with the light screen, and a loud "bang!" was heard. Indra's protective aura remained completely undamaged, while the latter seemed to have been struck hard in the chest with a giant log, clutching his chest and staggering backward, blood spilling from his seven orifices.

After only two moves, Prajna's situation was already dire. It seemed that Indra's boast of killing him within three moves was not empty talk.

However, as long as he had a breath left, Prajna would not give up his fight. He had to create time for Maitreya to escape; he couldn't let them both perish here!

Prajna took a deep breath and activated the "Wisdom of Liberation from All Suffering" from the "Great Fearless Divine Skill"! He thrust out two seemingly ordinary palms, without any fancy moves, but he poured all his life's power and potential into his palm strikes. In an instant, the palm strikes broke through Indra's protective aura and struck him!

"What?!" Indra, who had underestimated Prajna, who was already on the verge of death, was surprised that Prajna still possessed such power. Prajna's final move, fueled by the burning of his life force, was enough to break his "Undying Light Body" and even injure him! Unfortunately! Before the fight, Prajna was already poisoned with a deadly toxin, one of the three most potent poisons in the world, the "Five Signs of Decay of the Devas"!

Prajna poured all his power into a suicide attack on Indra. Without the suppression of the "Great Fearless Divine Skill," the "Five Signs of Decay" within Prajna were unleashed like a venomous snake or ferocious beast released from its cage, causing severe damage to his meridians at an unimaginable speed.

"Ugh!" Prajna's expression suddenly changed drastically. His palms, which had been striking out, abruptly stopped less than a foot from Indra's face. His internal power leaked out like a burst balloon; even moving a single finger was extremely difficult.

"Heavens! Why now of all times! Is it truly the will of Heaven to destroy me?"

The enemy's pause gave Indra the perfect opportunity to counterattack, and the "Heavenly King," one of the world's top masters, certainly wouldn't let this chance slip by.

"Burning Heaven Brahma Fire!" Indra shouted sharply. From the protective radiance that obscured his inner form, a hand suddenly appeared, moving with incredible speed, striking Prajna's chest in an instant. Then, with a "whoosh!" the hand vanished back into the radiance, as if it had never appeared at all.

With a single palm strike, Prajna seemed to be frozen in place, standing motionless until he let out a particularly piercing scream in the dead of night. And what he spat out wasn't blood! It was flames!

Jun Tianxie had never seen anyone spew such a large amount of fire from their mouth! It was as if the palm strike Di Shitian had just delivered to Prajna had not planted any internal energy within him, but rather a blazing furnace!

"Master!" A terrified Maitreya rushed forward to save him. At that moment, he no longer cared about his own safety, only about saving his master's life. It was this master-disciple bond that transcended life and death that allowed Prajna, struck by Indra's "Burning Heavenly Fire," to unleash an unknown potential. He used "Peaceful Steps," retreating eight zhang in one bound, colliding head-on with the oncoming Maitreya: "Run!"

The two figures collided rapidly, but Maitreya felt no impact whatsoever. Instead, it was as if he had crashed into a bulging ball, the gentle force rebounding him. In his retreating vision, Maitreya's last sight was of his master, who could no longer suppress the "Five Signs of Decay" and "Heavenly Bright Fire" within him, burned to ashes, leaving no trace of his body!

"Master—Father—" His desperate cries couldn't bring back the departed life. He couldn't betray Prajna's last wish. Maitreya gritted his teeth, tears streaming down his face, and turned to escape Indra's clutches. Only by preserving his life could he avenge his master. This hatred, this grudge, he would repay one day!

"Do you think you can escape?" A cold, mocking laugh echoed behind Maitreya. Escaping from the sight of "Heavenly King" Indra—how easy was that?

The same predicament soon befell another "outsider." To make matters worse, Maitreya fled directly towards where Jun Tianxie was hiding! What to do now?

Chapter Six: Unmoved by Evil Intent

In that instant, Jun Tianxie knew he had no choice.

As long as Maitreya's destination remained unchanged, he would inevitably discover his hiding place sooner or later. Even if he didn't discover it, Indra, who wouldn't let this little monk go, would find out when he caught up!

In other words, he would be exposed no matter what, and Indra would never allow tonight's events to be seen by a second living person besides himself!

In other words, Indra would definitely eliminate him, the "outsider," along with the little monk!

Jun Tianxie couldn't help but curse his bad luck tonight. He had only intended to watch the show, but had ended up getting himself into trouble?

However, he had no time to complain now. Gritting his teeth, he shot out like a meteor, heading in the opposite direction from where Maitreya had come from—the direction Indra was chasing. He shouted,

"Little monk, run! Let our 'Prison Breakers' block your way!"

"Never miss an opportunity" was his motto. If he was forced to become Indra's enemy, he would at least do the other side a favor to avoid ending up with nothing.

His "polite words" were also quite meaningful, designed to make Indra doubt his identity and whether he had any backup. As long as the other side hesitated to act, his chances of escaping would increase.

If possible, Jun Tianxie would never directly confront a powerful figure like Di Shitian, but now he had no choice.

Although he couldn't see the face within the ball of light, Jun Tianxie was certain that Di Shitian was surprised by his appearance. The latter had absolute confidence in his "Heavenly Vision and Earthly Hearing" ability, and his sudden appearance must have disrupted the "Heavenly King's" original plan, making the latter feel that the situation was not entirely under his control.

The reason for such great effort was that the opponent was simply too strong.

However, regarding this predicament of being forced into battle, another clone within him, another "Tianxie," felt an excitement completely different from his original self.

"Perfect timing to use you, a fellow on par with Old Ghost, to test just how much I still fall short of the strongest being today!"

One eye reflected an excited, sinister light, in stark contrast to the calm, deep darkness of the right eye. Though his thoughts were out of sync, his body reacted faster to save his life.

"Nirvana Armor-Disarming Sword!"

Jun Tian's evil halberd unleashed dozens of sharp sword energies, shooting towards Di Shitian like mercury spilling onto the ground. Such sword energy was certainly no threat to the latter's "Undying Light Body," but it was more than enough to serve as a "pathfinder."

Di Shitian sneered, "A mere grain of rice dares to shine!"

He didn't seem to make a move, but all the sword energies, upon reaching within a foot of the ball of light, seemed to encounter some inexplicable obstacle, halting instantly! Destroyed! Then vanished! Without exception!

"No matter which side you're on, you're dead today!"

The Nirvana Sword Qi couldn't slow Di Shitian's advance at all. A burst of light, moving with lightning speed, instantly appeared before Jun Tianxie. Before even making a move, his overwhelming domineering aura was enough to defeat his enemy without a fight. He truly lived up to his reputation as one of the three giants of the Demonic Sect.

Facing a legendary master, who had just killed Prajna, one of the giants of the righteous path, right before his eyes, Jun Tianxie felt no fear or discouragement. On the contrary, he felt an almost uncontrollable excitement. Could it be

that even though he had cultivated "unmoved by evil," he still retained that so-called innate martial artist's blood from that old ghost? Regardless, today was a rare opportunity to see just how "strong" Di Shitian truly was.

"Nirvana Earth-Shaking Sword!"

With a shout, hundreds of sword energies burst forth from the ground the moment Di Shitian landed in front of Jun Tianxie, then shot towards Di Shitian. It turned out that the latter had been secretly gathering power beneath his feet. The first wave of sword energies was merely a feint and observation; this "Nirvana Earth-Shaking Sword" was his true main force.

"A rather interesting setup. Your skills aren't weak either, kid. No wonder you dared to come to rescue people. But do you think you can hurt me with such tricks?"

Di Shitian's excited voice came from within the light. Although this young man had surprised him once again, that was all. He didn't take such sword energy seriously. He activated the "Undying Light Body," and the intangible ball of light immediately began to swirl. Amidst the blazing light, the Nirvana Sword energy seemed to have struck the ocean, yet it still couldn't harm him in the slightest.

Jun Tianxie laughed, "Such tricks are certainly no match for 'Heavenly King,' come again."

Whether he was reckless or fearless, the two consecutive defeats did not seem to affect Jun Tianxie's fighting spirit. He clasped his hands together and shot towards the center of the light like a meteor, but this move was tantamount to suicide. What was Jun Tianxie thinking?

"Nirvana Annihilation Sword!"

Di Shitian sneered, "What are you doing? Knowing you are no match, you want to die? Then I will grant your wish!"

Suddenly, a beam of light condensed in Di Shitian's protective light and quickly formed a spear shape. The light spear exploded with a ball of white flame, aiming straight for Jun Tianxie's chest.

"The Radiant Fire Spear?!"

Jun Tianxie's eyelids twitched involuntarily upon seeing this. The ability to condense energy into light was already a rare skill in the martial world, but now Di Shitian could even condense light into form, proving that his "Heavenly Radiant Fire" had reached the level of the Thirty-Three Indra Heavens. Even if "King Yama" Jun Nitian himself came, he might not be able to defeat him.

Fortunately, he had a backup plan.

Jun Tianxie's eyes flashed with divine light, and his clasped hands struck the tip of the spear of light precisely. A force field, seemingly capable of neutralizing existence, under the influence of his palm strikes, completely dissolved Di Shitian's "Radiant Fire Spear."

Annihilation means turning everything into nothingness.

Di Shitian's spear of light returned empty-handed, and Jun Tianxie seized this fleeting opportunity, using the move "Strike the Midstream" to leap forward, his sword and halberd pointing at the light that should have been on Di Shitian's forehead.

"Break!"

In the blink of an eye, the sword finger struck the outer edge of the light circle. Following Jun Tianxie's "True Force of Annihilation," everything in its path vanished into nothingness, even Di Shitian's "Undying Body of Light." Its brilliance shifted from its peak to a dimming, finally disappearing completely. Then, the "Heavenly King," who had been hidden within the light circle, was finally revealed to him.

It was a majestic and handsome face, comparable to that of an emperor. The faint light under the stars and moon illuminated his physique, making him appear as proud as a god. A sliver of purple light, seemingly about to burst from his pupils, was now fixed on this young opponent, who had surprised him for the third time that night, with that sinister and somber gaze. Having succeeded in

one move, Jun Tianxie felt no pride. Instead, he cried out in alarm, for Di Shitian's expression was not the expected outburst of anger or astonishment. Instead, it was as deep and unfathomable as the bottom of an ancient well. Such a reaction could only mean one thing: the "Heavenly King" had truly become serious!

Di Shitian let out a cold snort, and Jun Tianxie suddenly felt the temperature of the surrounding air rise dramatically without warning. The cool summer night air instantly transformed into a dry, scorching desert! He had to exert all his strength to resist the unbearable heat.

Di Shitian's cold and sharp gaze fell upon Jun Tianxie, making the latter feel almost as if he were being scraped by a knife.

"Boy... who exactly are you?"

Jun Tianxie chuckled dryly, "Didn't I already tell you? I'm a member of 'Prison Breaker'."

Di Shitian said in an emotionless tone, "On the surface, you use Buddhist martial arts, but the intention behind those moves is the demonic mental technique. No matter how perfectly you conceal it, you can't fool three people, including myself. Who exactly are you! You won't tell me...?"

Jun Tianxie groaned inwardly, knowing that the other two people Di Shitian was referring to were "Yan Huang" Jun Nitian and "Di Zang" Mo Tuofo. Indeed, these three giants of the demonic sect could see through his true strength hidden beneath the "Evil Nirvana."

However, his primary task now shouldn't be how to conceal his martial arts origins, but rather how to save his own life in front of Di Shitian, who had truly harbored murderous intent.

"Who you are is no longer important, because the identity of a dead man is meaningless to this king!"

As soon as he finished speaking, Di Shitian activated his "Undying Light Body" again, and the light that had once vanished from his body blazed brightly once more. In a golden light comparable to the sun illuminating the earth, Jun Tianxie's voice, filled with shock and fear, rang out.

"Great Extinction Sun True Qi?!"

"You have insight, but for this very reason, this king will not allow you to live..." Di Shitian's voice echoed from within the light, still as cold and murderous as ever.

Jun Tianxie only saw the sky filled with light, obscuring the original darkness, as if the "Heavenly King" possessed the divine power to reverse day and night, although he knew perfectly well that it was impossible.

Tens of thousands of flashing lights blinded Jun Tianxie, leaving him unable to see anything but the glare. Just as he realized the danger, a powerful and refined energy surged from the light, transforming into a long, several-zhang-long beam of light that pierced towards his chest!

This time, Di Shitian held nothing back; its power even surpassed his previous attack against Prajna. The "Sun-Extinguishing Light Blade," formed from the "Great Sun-Extinguishing True Qi," had already pierced through Jun Tianxie's protective aura before the blade even reached him, leaving the latter with no doubt that this strike could cleave him in two.

"Damn it! Now I have no choice!"

Facing Di Shitian's "serious" attack, Jun Tianxie knew that if he held back any longer, he would surely die tonight. He gritted his teeth, closed his eyes, clasped his hands together, and chanted Sanskrit he had never heard before. But could this alone allow him to avoid this fatal blow?

"Dreamy Illusory Flower!"

Jun Tianxie uttered softly, and his body suddenly became as thin and transparent as mist. Although he was still in the same place, the projection was as illusory and unreal as a mirage. It was the peerless movement technique that he would later create and shock the world with - Dreamy Illusory Flower!

The radiant blade hissed through the air, instantly cleaving Jun Tianxie's thinning body in two. Not a drop of blood flowed from the two halves; instead, the blood dissipated like mist, vanishing completely.

"How could this be?!"

Di Shitian could no longer conceal his astonishment. Someone had actually survived his "Sun-Extinguishing Blade" at eighty percent of its power, and this was a boy not even twenty years old! No one would believe it if word got out, yet it had happened right before his eyes. But the astonishment

didn't end there. When Di Shitian activated the Demonic Sect's "Searching God Technique" to survey the area within a ten-mile radius, apart from the little monk Maitreya who was about to escape his detection range, he couldn't sense Jun Tianxie's presence at all! It was as if the other party had vanished into thin air, leaving not even the faintest trace of life.

"How is this possible...! Could this brat... possibly have traveled ten miles in an instant...?"

The unseen face beneath the radiant light emanated an expression of utter astonishment. In this world, even the "King of Hell," Jun Tianxie, couldn't possibly have made "Heavenly King" Di Shitian speechless. Yet, tonight, Jun Tianxie had accomplished it.

After a long, long while, Di Shitian seemed to have calmed down slightly. His self-deprecating yet overly arrogant voice emanated from the ball of light, speaking with an air of complete understanding:

"Is this what they call 'talented people emerge in every generation'...? How interesting... Jun Tianxie, is your struggle with this king going to continue into the next generation...?"

His calm laughter carried an indescribable killing intent. Then, a burst of sparks shot into the sky from Di Shitian's ball of light, exploding into a dazzling display of fireworks visible far and wide.

"White Demon... it's time for you to show your skills. Let me see which is superior, the disciple trained by the 'Heavenly Palace' or the disciple from the 'Netherworld Mountain Sect'...?"

"Ugh...! Such a serious injury! I'll need at least a month to recover. This time, I've suffered a huge loss."

Kneeling on the ground like a panting old dog, Jun Tianxie, who had always adhered to the principle of self-preservation since his debut, had never been in such a sorry state before.

Although he had dodged Di Shitian's blade with his "Dreamy Illusory Flower" movement technique, the lingering intent of the blade had still caused him internal injuries.

"Heavenly King" truly lived up to his reputation as one of the three giants of the Demonic Sect. He had no intention of defeating his opponent now; it was a miracle he had even escaped alive.

The surging blood within him still hadn't subsided, seemingly telling him just how dangerous and intense the battle had been.

"My opponent is far too strong. Not only could I not test his strength, but I also had my true abilities exposed. Was I too arrogant...?"

Jun Tianxie wiped the blood from his mouth with a bitter smile. Since his debut, everything had gone smoothly for him. He had always managed to overcome crises with his wisdom. However, this smooth life in the martial world had led him to underestimate the heroes of the world, and now it was time to pay the price for that mistake.

Fortunately, "Evil Nirvana" was best at concealing his tracks, and with the astonishing speed of "Dreamy Illusory Flower," although it couldn't match the instantaneous speed of a shadow, it was still barely enough to evade Di Shitian's "Searching God Technique."

"This rescue has really cost me my life. I hope that little monk can escape unscathed, otherwise I'll have lost everything."

"I'm sorry, not only will the little monk not escape, but you will also die here."

A clear and calm voice followed Jun Tianxie's words from behind, startling him. It wasn't because the other person could get so close without him noticing, but because of the tone of voice. The sentence, which clearly said "I'm going to kill you," didn't carry a trace of murderous intent. It was as if he were talking about something as simple and ordinary as eating and drinking. This was something Jun Tianxie had never encountered before.

"You can't do it here! Let me do it!"

Another "self" voice rang in his mind, and then, without warning, Jun Tianxie's expression changed to that of another "Tianxie"—Yu Tianxie!

Sensing the approaching crisis, the two split personalities achieved a tacit understanding for the first time. Having expended too much energy in the battle with Di Shitian, "Jun Tianxie" stepped down, replaced by "Yu Tianxie." Although his physical injuries were irrecoverable, he was at least mentally perfect—perhaps even slightly superior.

Almost simultaneously with "Yu Tianxie's" appearance, that calm, straightforward voice came from behind:

"I sense a change in your spirit, as if you've suddenly become another person, but that should be impossible. How did you do it?"

This time, it was "Yu Tianxie's" turn to be shocked. There couldn't be more than three people in the world who knew he possessed a dual personality, and the person behind him couldn't possibly be one of them. What was going on?

Could it be that besides him, there was someone else in the world who could cultivate "unmoved by evil thoughts"?

"Unmoved by Evil" is a supreme spiritual technique within the Demonic Sect. As the name suggests, "unmoved" is derived from the Buddhist concept of "unmoved by the eight winds," meaning that regardless of one's circumstances, one can maintain a mind as clear and transparent as a mirror, faithfully reflecting, recording, and responding to all changes around them. At its peak, it is even equivalent to possessing extraordinary abilities such as "telepathy" and "divine powers of creation," which are only found in classical texts.

However, such a supreme technique that leads to enlightenment through demonic means is no easy feat. Since the Demonic Sect created the "Unmoved by Evil" technique, no one has ever been known to have truly mastered it. This is because the path to cultivation is extremely perilous, and the deeper one's demonic power, the more illusions arise during the cultivation process, often resulting in demonic possession, reversed blood flow in the meridians, and a gruesome death. Over time, few dared to practice it.

The technique of "Unmoved by Evil" had been lost until modern times. A peerless genius emerged from the Demonic Sect—"Yan Huang" Jun Nitian—who, with his extraordinary wisdom, finally comprehended its secrets. It turns out that the method of "Unmoved by Evil" is fundamentally contrary to the original spirit of the Demonic Sect. Therefore, the more powerful a Demonic Sect master is, the more likely they are to be consumed by their inner demons and bring about their own downfall if they try to master its mysteries.

One of the prerequisites for mastering "Unmoved by Evil" is that the practitioner must not possess any other Demonic Sect techniques—a truly ironic situation! A skill revered by countless masters of the Demonic Sect can only be practiced by those outside the Demonic Sect?

Even when Jun Nitian solved this unsolvable problem that had plagued countless masters of the Demonic Sect for centuries, he couldn't help but feel a wry smile, a sense of cruel irony. Out of a malicious mockery, he passed on the cultivation method of "Unmoved by Evil Hearts" to a six-year-old child who had never practiced any Demonic Sect techniques.

Even if the first hurdle was overcome, "Unmoved by Evil Hearts" remained one of the most difficult skills to cultivate in the Demonic Sect for centuries, let alone for a mere infant. It was the child's exceptional fortune that allowed Jun Nitian to awaken his "Supreme Six Senses" first using a unique method, making the cultivation of evil hearts twice as effective. Thus, the child became the first person in the Demonic Sect in five hundred years to successfully cultivate "Unmoved by Evil Hearts."

By now, you should all be able to guess that the child who mastered "Unmoved by Evil" is our protagonist, Jun Tianxie. However, later, for some reason, Jun Tianxie's evil heart developed a fatal flaw. To fill this mental void, the alternate personality "Yu Tianxie" was born.

The fact that cultivating "Unmoved by Evil" caused Jun Tianxie to experience symptoms of personality splitting is probably an unforeseen variable, even by Jun Nitian, who helped him unlock the "Six Supreme Senses."

Because the "Yu Tianxie" personality arose through the cultivation of "Unmoved by Evil," "Yu Tianxie" believes that no one in the world can match his mastery of this skill, not even "King Yama" Jun Nitian.

When "Jun Tianxie" transformed into "Yu Tianxie," the "Unmoved Evil Heart" technique began to operate, only to be exposed by a mysterious enemy of unknown origin. There could only be one reason for this: the other party also practiced the same martial art, and their shared innate connection allowed them to discern its secrets.

Although he didn't know how the newcomer had mastered "Unmoved Evil Heart," it gave him a good idea to escape his current predicament.

Playing with a strand of hair on his forehead, Yu Tianxie chuckled, "Interesting. I never imagined that someone besides myself could master 'Unmoved Evil Heart.' This makes me very interested in knowing your identity. Who are you?"

He spoke as if he were the one being controlled, not the other party. However, when Yu Tianxie mentioned the words "Unmoved Evil Heart," he finally caught a glimpse of the unfathomable enemy's mental fluctuations—exactly the effect he desired.

Only by seizing the fleeting opportunity can one be considered a first-rate master, and Yu Tianxie's actions at this moment perfectly exemplified this principle.

"Dreamy Illusory Flower!"

When he unleashed his self-created peerless movement technique, the figure that was originally kneeling on the ground appeared somewhat faint and blurred. In fact, he had already moved at high speed, taking advantage of the moment when his opponent's mind was distracted, and quickly turned to another place. What remained in the original place was just an illusion of afterimage.

However, the newcomer was no ordinary person either. He also possessed the Evil Heart Realm. In just an instant, he regained his calm and composed state, not being deceived by the illusion in front of him. Moreover, he grasped Yu Tianxie's true form in the first instant. His reaction was so fast that it secretly surprised the latter.

His gaze swept to his right, and the two of them met. At this moment, they saw each other's faces clearly.

His opponent was a young man who was not much older than him. His eyebrows and hair were prematurely white. Although there was a warm smile on his lips and his eyes were almost squinted into slits when he smiled, he did not give off any sense of hostility, let alone murderous intent.

However, Yu Tianxie sensed something amiss with his wicked heart. The other person's smile was like a wax figure, possessing only "form" but no "meaning." Moreover, after Yu Tianxie's prolonged observation, the other person's smile remained unchanged, almost as if wearing a mask. He quickly realized the reason.

Yu Tianxie laughed: "So you've severed your seven emotions and six desires, sealing away all sensory expressions like joy, anger, sorrow, and happiness until only one remains. Using this method, you can indeed avoid the backlash of inner demons during cultivation, but the price you pay is far too high. That white hair must be from this. Who exactly are you?"

Despite being exposed, the white-haired youth's face still showed no surprise or astonishment, his narrowed smile unchanged, and even his tone remained as flat as before.

"The chief disciple under Emperor Shitian, 'Cangxie' Baimo."

Chapter Seven: The sudden, chilling aura of Cangxie Baimo

was utterly unimaginable. Just a moment ago, he was smiling kindly at you, and the next instant, his longsword had transformed into a deadly reaper, cleaving through the void as it came hurtling towards you.

Fortunately, the ability to hide a dagger in a smile was a unique trait of this body's personality, and even as another Tianxie, he wouldn't let his guard down.

The young man, who called himself "Cangxie" Baimo, attacked with lightning speed. Before he could even finish his self-introduction, he suddenly drew his longsword from his waist, and with a long cry, it burst from its sheath. In a flash, Yu Tianxie only had time to see the strange weapon—a blade that seemed both straight and curved, thin and long, with a strange, murderous aura emanating from it.

"Such a chilling blade aura!"

"Cold" was Yu Tianxie's first impression of the White Demon's blade technique. A sharp, arc-shaped, icy blade aura, invisible yet tangible, slashed towards Yu Tianxie, who was standing twelve feet away. Even before the blade arrived, the chilling aura caused his pores to contract, almost sending a shiver down his spine.

"My strength hasn't recovered; it's not wise to fight head-on."

Seeing the fierce attack, Yu Tianxie estimated he only had sixty percent of his strength left. His opponent was also at the Evil Heart Realm, making victory seem unlikely. His mind raced, searching for a way to escape.

"Dreamlike Illusory Flower! Formless Shift!"

The White Demon's "hiss!" cleaved Yu Tianxie in two at the waist. But in his pupils, narrowed to slits by a smile, a hint of confusion could be seen. There was no blood on the blade, nor the sensation of striking a solid object. Could it be…?

"Illusion? What superb footwork!"

Having missed his target, Bai Mo turned and attacked again before his blade's momentum could fade. Wisps of cold air emanated from his blade, intertwining and creating a thousand illusory illusions in the night sky. The exquisite skill of his moves even impressed Yu Tianxie, but it also ignited his true anger.

"Don't think you can bully me just because I'm injured! I'll show you I'm not someone to be trifled with!"

Yu Tianxie took a deep breath, his left hand drawing circles in the air, his right hand forming a sword incantation. Suddenly, he let out a long howl, his right index and middle fingers flicking out, unleashing a three-inch-long flaming sword beam that, with the force of a meteor, met Bai Mo's chilling blade curtain. The fiery sword and frost-covered blade clashed in mid-air, scattering ice fragments and sparks, creating a magnificent spectacle of ice and fire coexisting.

"Pure Yang True Fire?! Isn't this a sword technique only found in the 'Emperor's Sword Path'? Who are you from the 'Jade Emperor Palace'?" Bai Mo asked with a smile, tinged with a strange expression of surprise.

"There's no need to tell you!"

Yu Tianxie coldly shouted, his ten fingers flicking out a fan-shaped sword aura that resembled a celestial maiden scattering flowers. Like a peacock spreading its tail, the sword aura appeared chaotic yet orderly, attacking Bai Mo's vital points with speed and density. It was one of the moves of the "Emperor's Sword Way," which had not appeared in the martial world for twenty years—Ambush from Ten Sides!

As soon as "Ambush from Ten Sides" was unleashed, the sword aura was like a raging storm, or like banners swaying, overlapping and densely packed. In an instant, Bai Mo was completely enveloped by the sword aura, but he was not alarmed or afraid. Suddenly, his body spun like a whirlwind, and the cold light of the blade aura protected the area within three feet around him as densely as a copper wall and iron wall. None of the sword auras unleashed by Yu Tianxie could get close to him.

"Good!"

Yu Tianxie knew he was at a disadvantage due to his weakened state after being injured, and also because he had no weapon. A direct confrontation would only be detrimental to him. He knew that Bai Mo also knew this, which was why he used this sword technique to break the "Ambush from Ten Sides" move. He would have done the same if he were in Bai Mo's shoes. He was indeed worthy of being an enemy who also cultivated the "Unmoved Evil Heart."

This was all within his calculations.

Yu Tianxie retracted his ten fingers, and the sword energy in the sky vanished without a trace. Then, he punched the ground with all his might.

"Boom!"

The force of the punch hit the ground, immediately causing a burst of sand and dust to fly up, obscuring everything Bai Mo could see. Faced with this sudden change, the latter only smiled faintly:

"Did you think you could leave like this? You're too naive."

His words revealed not only complete confidence but also a hint of disappointment. This kind of illusion might be effective against ordinary experts, but to use it to deceive someone who also possessed the "Unmoved Evil Heart" realm, who could flick a finger to knock down a buzzing mosquito even in complete darkness, was as ridiculous as a child throwing sand.

"I thought my first battle since my debut would be a memorable enemy... Oh well, everyone loses their composure when facing death. Let me end your suffering sooner!"

Closing his eyes, even without sight, he could rely on his superhuman hearing and intuition to find Yu Tianxie's movements in the sandstorm. For him, with his "Six Supreme Senses" already awakened, this should have been a simple matter. However, when his senses extended further, he discovered that the reality was not as simple as he thought.

The dust not only gathered but also seemed to be drawn by some force, swirling in a faint vortex. There seemed to be some interfering force within the sandstorm, affecting his "Six Supreme Senses" judgment, making it impossible to accurately grasp the true situation inside.

"What's wrong? If you don't catch up, I'm leaving."

A mocking laugh echoed through the dust, fading into the distance. Clearly, while Bai Mo hesitated and questioned, the former had seized this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and sped away.

Knowing he couldn't catch up, Bai Mo didn't waste any more energy on futile actions. He sheathed his single-edged longsword, his face still beaming.

"How interesting! Master has really given me a good job this time. A young man who, like me, has mastered 'Unmoved by Evil,' no matter who you are, no matter where you go, I will find you and make you die by my 'Azure Evil' blade..."

The flat words seemed even more incongruous with his expression, but within Bai Mo's mutterings lay an emotion he himself hadn't recognized—an emotion he should have abandoned, should have long since severed, after mastering "Unmoved by Evil."

Joy, anger, sorrow, and happiness—except for "joy," no other emotion could possibly appear on his face.

But now, as the dust settled, a hint of jealousy appeared on Bai Mo's face, beneath his almost slit-like eyes.

Why was he jealous? Was it because there were others in the world who could cultivate "unmoved evil" without sacrificing their inherent humanity like he had? Was that it?

We cannot know the answer yet.

"Ugh...! My wounds have reopened. That brat Bai Mo, I hope I never run into him again. I'll tear him to pieces!"

At the foot of the mountain, Yu Tianxie, who had finally escaped after enduring countless hardships, looked at the countless old and new wounds on his body and cursed from the fallen Prajna and the escaped Maitreya to all the gods and Buddhas in the heavens with a hateful voice.

"It's all your fault, you clueless brat! Why did you have to get involved? You made me, this young master, have to come out and clean up the mess. If it weren't for the fact that we're one, I wouldn't be able to continue existing if you died. I wouldn't have come out to save you!"

He grumbled on and on, complaining to the empty void. If an outsider had seen this, they might have thought the young man was mentally unstable. But the person involved didn't care about other people's opinions at all, and only he knew where his complaints were directed.

"..."

"Not going to talk, huh? Fine, you've been out long enough anyway. It's time for you to go back inside and rest. Let me, 'Heavenly Evil,' make this dull and boring martial world a little more interesting!"

With a smug smile, the young figure disappeared like a wild meteor on the horizon in no time.

"Have you heard?"

"Heared what?"

"Eh! Are you really unaware, or are you pretending? The most sensational news in our 'Shuntian City' lately is that some mysterious flying lecher has committed thirteen acts of womanizing in just one month. Such big news, haven't you heard?" "Of

course I know! That lecher is really something, committing so many crimes and still hasn't been arrested by the authorities." "

Not only that, I heard that no one has even seen what that lecher looks like."

"Is that true! The government is too incompetent. Are they just going to let that lecher go unpunished and continue to rape innocent women?"

"Of course not, so the city prefect has used his connections to ask 'Phoenix' Jun Tianjiao, one of the 'Three Heroes and Four Beauties' of the 'White Path Alliance,' to capture that lecher."

"You mean the leader of the Four Beauties, Jun Tianjiao, the Phoenix?"

"Indeed, I've heard that Jun Tianjiao is the only female among the Four Heroes who can rival the Three Heroes in martial arts. Moreover, the kind of villain she hates most is the lecherous scoundrel. With 'Phoenix' on the case, I believe the lecherous scoundrel's capture is just around the corner." "

I hope that Heroine Jun can capture that lecherous scoundrel soon and restore peace to 'Shuntian City'."

In a tavern in "Shuntian City," the place was packed with guests, all discussing the hottest topic in the city recently, which was none other than the duel between "Phoenix" Jun Tianjiao and the lecherous scoundrel. And almost everyone was overwhelmingly optimistic about the former's victory. After all, lust is the root of all evil, and everyone wants to get rid of the lowest-class lecherous scoundrel. However, this lecherous villain was too powerful and elusive, so they could only hope that Heroine Jun, the leader of the Four Heroes, could rid them of this scourge.

Amidst the crowd, only a handsome young man in blue cloth robes stood out, a disdainful sneer on his face, unlike the others. His striking eyes, however, flashed with a dangerous light, a mixture of evil, coldness, and ruthlessness.

"Phoenix Jun Tianjiao! Interesting… It's been five years since we last met, hasn't it? So, is it fate that has arranged this touching sibling reunion for us in this Shuntian City…?"

His words were devoid of any sentimentality, instead laced with excessive sarcasm. The young man raised his cup, calmly finished his tea, then rose to pay the bill and left the restaurant.

"Whether you're a phoenix or a pheasant, if you want to catch me, bring it on!"

The young man revealed a confident and wicked smile, his light steps disappearing into the crowd like a drop of water flowing into the ocean.

It was late at night.

The tense atmosphere of the past month had significantly tightened the security in Shuntian City, but even the most impenetrable defenses couldn't stop Yu Tianxie, who possessed the unparalleled "Dreamy Illusionary Flower" movement technique.

Just like now, dressed in the same blue clothes as during the day, he stood under the eaves of a high-rise building, looking down at the useless constables below who were wasting their efforts trying to catch him, and coldly mocked them.

"A bunch of idiots! You think you can catch me with this kind of formation? Wait another hundred years…!"

Ignoring the heavy guard below, he lightly tapped his right foot, and like a ghost, he vanished, a faint blue figure silently drifting into another high-rise building opposite.

A month ago, he was severely injured after facing off against the top-tier demonic sect master and disciple duo, "Heavenly King" Di Shitian and "Azure Demon" Bai Mo. He was forced to resort to the yin-yang balancing method to speed up his recovery.

"Shuntian City" was merely a coincidence in his choice of location; there was no other special reason. Another "Jun Tianxie" would have done the same, only the former would have been much more discreet and cautious, never letting it become the talk of the town.

Even with the intervention of "Phoenix" Jun Tianjiao, signifying a significant increase in the danger of continuing this affair, he—Yu Tianxie—has no intention of stopping, demonstrating his unyielding nature.

Tonight's target is the beloved daughter of the city's richest family. Instead of erasing her memories with demonic arts as before, this time he will rape and then kill her! He wants everyone to know that he, Yu Tianxie, fears no one, and the more they resist him, the greater the price they will pay.

This poor woman, chosen by him as his first blood sacrifice—Xi Rongyin! Behind the wooden door, she was unaware of the tragic and bloody fate that awaited her.

Yu Tianxie looked at the wooden door before him. He had scouted the area several days ago and knew that Xi Rongyin's boudoir lay behind it. He sneered and was about to push the door open.

Suddenly, a sixth sense, the alertness of a master, made him stop. A powerful, oppressive aura emanated from the other side of the door, making even him wary.

"Sister Jun, will that lecherous thief really not come? I'm so scared."

"Don't worry, with me here, even if that lecherous thief does come, I'll make sure he can't leave."

A pair of equally melodious voices rang out from inside the room. Knowing they were already outside, and having exuded a provocative aura, they uttered such arrogant words. Normally, Yu Tianxie would have kicked the wooden door down and taken advantage of whoever was inside. But instead, he stood there, unusually, with a troubled expression on his face. Why?

"Ah! Sister Jun! What are you doing, Grandma?"

A startled cry suddenly came from inside, likely from tonight's target, Xi Rongyin. Her voice held shock and confusion.

"Don't be afraid, Sister Xi. Grandma is so cute, her face is as tender as a ripe peach. It makes me want to take a bite."

"How can this be? We...we are all women..."

Xi Rongyin's voice was filled with intense embarrassment. Clearly, her idol's unexpected action left her unsure how to react.

“Some things can only be understood between women. Come! Let your sister teach you…”

Her voice was so alluring it seemed to drip with water, and it possessed a strange persuasiveness, as if it could easily enter someone’s heart. Compared to this, Xi Rongyin’s slightly trembling voice seemed fragile and vulnerable.

“But…but…I still feel…this…is not quite right…”

At this moment, the two women in the room seemed to move closer. “Sister Jun”’s fiery yet gentle voice seemed to whisper in Yu Tianxie’s ear.

“Don’t worry…it’s just you and your sister here. As long as we don’t tell anyone, no one will know…”

Yu Tianxie knew that this was a superior bewitching technique from the Demonic Sect called “Heavenly Demonic Melody.” Moreover, the woman in the room was extremely skilled. Even a master like him couldn’t help but feel a little swayed after hearing it, let alone a young lady who knew no martial arts. It was only a matter of time before her defenses crumbled.

Unexpectedly, the "flower" he wanted to pluck tonight had been beaten to it by someone else, and the object of that pluck was a woman! Even someone as cold and ruthless as him couldn't help but feel a slight urge to wryly smile.

At this moment, Xi Rongyin's voice sounded increasingly disheveled, clearly indicating that she was completely disoriented and her heart was in turmoil.

"Sister Jun... this won't do...

you can't..." "Why can't I... does Grandma really want me to stop...?"

"I don't know... ah!"

Suddenly, the door was pushed open a crack without warning, and a lewd scene was immediately presented to Yu Tianxie's eyes.

Two beautiful women, half-naked and disheveled, were embracing. The difference in their roles was obvious; the one in the passive position was Yu Tianxie's target for tonight—Xi Rongyin! Her appearance was not bad, considered above average. At this moment, she was struggling weakly and blushing, panting,

"Sister Jun...no...you can't..."

As for the other person, due to the angle, Yu Tianxie could only see her back, but from her graceful figure and beautiful long black hair, he could already deduce that she was stunningly beautiful. Moreover, that back was familiar to Yu Tianxie, and he thought to himself, "It really is her!"

-- "Phoenix" Jun Tianjiao!

At this moment, Jun Tianjiao had already cupped Xi Rongyin's face and brought her red lips close. Whether the latter could not dodge or did not want to dodge, she was kissed squarely! This was like a thunderbolt striking the earth, the two beautiful and charming bodies rubbing against each other, exchanging breaths, doing everything they could to bewitch. Yu Tianxie outside the door stared blankly, and was reluctant to leave.

"Mmm...uh..."

Jun Tianjiao's exquisite kissing skills swirled and yearned within her tongue. Xi Rongyin, still an innocent girl, was no match for such provocative advances. Soon, she was aroused, a fire burning within her, craving the drenching of desire.

Jun Tianjiao kissed her as she removed her and Xi Rongyin's clothes. One was delicate and beautiful, the other voluptuous and fit; the two alluring naked bodies intertwined and caressed each other, glistening with sweat, emitting soft moans of pleasure.

"How long are you planning to stand outside? Come in."

Yu Tianxie was startled by the words, hesitating at first, then, as if making a reluctant decision, he gritted his teeth and whispered, "Young Master doesn't want to see this slut!"

His body trembled again, a fleeting dimness flashing in his eyes, his expression shifting like a scene changing on a stage, as if he had become a completely different person.

"Come in, what are you waiting for?"

Yu Tianxie—no! Now he should be called "Jun Tianxie." A bitter smile, unseen for a long time, appeared on his face as he shook his head and said, "So what if I die?" He pushed open the door and went inside.

The moment he entered, his eyes lit up.

Jun Tianjiao, who had previously turned her back to him, had finally turned around. Her breathtakingly perfect body, the petals still damp from their recent encounter, and the dense forest glistening with a few sparkles.

Her face, still flushed, possessed exquisitely sculpted, flawless features. Her clear, black-and-white eyes held a certain kind of thought that even "unmoved evil heart" couldn't fathom. Her cold, serene temperament made it impossible to associate her

with the wanton and seductive image he had just projected. Her beauty was enough to drive countless men mad, but Jun Tianxie was one of the few in the world who knew the secret of "Phoenix" Jun Tianjiao: she had absolutely no interest in men! She loved women!

Jun Tianjiao showed no intention of putting on clothes, seemingly completely unconcerned about Jun Tianxie's gaze.

A mysterious smile appeared on her exquisite face as she chuckled, "How long has it been since we last met, my dear brother?"

Jun Tianxie replied with a wry smile, "It's been six years and eight months, sister."

Chapter Eight Phoenix Heavenly Beauty

"Your memory is still so good," Jun Tianjiao said.

"Just counting the days," Jun Tianxie said with a wry smile.

A strange light suddenly flashed in Jun Tianjiao's beautiful eyes as she spoke softly.

"Counting the days... is that so? Then you still hate him...?"

A look of hatred mixed with pain flashed across Jun Tianxie's face for no apparent reason, but he quickly suppressed it with great self-control, and then retorted defiantly: "How could you not hate him too? Otherwise, why did you leave? Why did you become 'Phoenix' Jun Tianjiao? Why do you only love women? You should know these reasons better than anyone else, shouldn't you?"

Jun Tianjiao's body trembled. Every question from the other party was like a razor blade, ruthlessly digging out the wounds she thought she had hidden for so long, making her realize that the painful memories were still like a brand tightly binding her to her entire life.

“Yes… I hate him… In this world, the person I most want to kill with my own hands is him… It’s just a pity I know that’s impossible! He’s too strong, so strong that no one can defeat him, let alone kill him…”

Jun Tianxie’s eyes twitched, and he bit his lip, saying, “Even if no one can defeat him now, it doesn’t mean no one will ever be able to.”

Jun Tianjiao brushed her hair, strands brushing against Jun Tianxie’s nose, and said with a sigh that was half-smile, “The future? Who can know what the future holds?”

Jun Tianxie shook his head and remained silent, an awkward silence filling the still air, until Jun Tianjiao chuckled softly and turned to walk to the unconscious Xi Rongyin.

“I almost forgot, you came to pick flowers, but unfortunately, I got there first. But it’s still usable. Do you need me to excuse you and let you cool down?”

Jun Tianxie shook his head and smiled bitterly, “Grandma, please spare me! I don’t have that kind of interest anymore.”

"No interest? That doesn't sound like you." Jun Tianjiao smiled and glanced sideways. "Or... do you think I'm better?"

Jun Tianxie blushed for the first time. "Grandma, please stop teasing me."

Jun Tianjiao unabashedly displayed her alluring body to her "brother," and said with a charming smile, "I'm not teasing you. Or would you rather have your mother than your sister?"

Jun Tianxie frowned and said unhappily, "Enough! If you keep talking, I'll get angry."

Jun Tianjiao covered her mouth and chuckled. "Using anger to cover up your surprise at having your weakness hit? Never mind! After all..." My brother and I haven't seen each other for over six years; we should talk about something lighthearted. "When did you leave that awful place?"

Jun Tianxie hesitated for a moment, then finally replied, "About a year."

Jun Tianjiao nodded, "It's about time. I was wondering why you didn't leave sooner."

Jun Tianxie's expression changed, as if a deep sorrow had been tugged at his heart. He clenched his fist and said softly, "I can't rest easy... She... Grandma knows..."

Jun Tianjiao's face also darkened, and she hesitated, "She... Mother... Is she alright...?"

Jun Tianxie... She initially wanted to shake her head, but after thinking for a moment, she said, "The Shadow from inside the sect sent

word that she... she's alright..." Jun Tianjiao gasped, "You've seen 'Shadow'?!"

Jun Tianxie sneered, "Old Ghost sent him to investigate my true strength. If it weren't for the Shadow Escape Technique's ability to travel a thousand miles in an instant, I would never have let him return alive! Old Ghost has countless monsters like that around him; just thinking about it makes one uneasy."

Jun Tianjiao frowned slightly, "Even someone as arrogant as you would say such a thing. It seems the Shadow's true strength is even more terrifying than the rumors suggest."

Jun Tianxie shook his head. Shadow only obeys Old Ghost's orders, and given Old Ghost's arrogant nature, he would never let anyone fight for him. A knife that can't hurt anyone, no matter how sharp, is not worth my attention.

Jun Tianjiao laughed, "You haven't changed, still so shrewd."

Jun Tianxie glanced at Xi Rongyin on the bed, a mischievous smile on his face, and said, "Grandma hasn't changed either, her interests are still as unique as ever."

Jun Tianjiao laughed and scolded, "You little brat, daring to make fun of your sister? You deserve a beating!"

As they talked and laughed, the distance between them invisibly shortened, no longer as awkward and distant as when they first met.

Jun Tianjiao flicked her wrist, and the clothes on the ground seemed to be pulled by some invisible force, flying back into her hand. This skill of "retrieving objects from a distance" was already among the top five of the new generation, proving that the saying that "Phoenix" could stand shoulder to shoulder with the Three Heroes was not unfounded.

"I'll give you one last chance, do you really not want me?"

Jun Tianxie could only smile bitterly.

"Fine! All men are like this, so I can never like men."

Hearing these words, which even someone as unruly as himself found offensive, Jun Tianxie couldn't refute them. He had always thought there was only one woman in the world who could make him feel ashamed, but he hadn't expected to overlook his own sister.

"However... although our personalities are different, mother and daughter are still mother and daughter!"

They kept these feelings to themselves, without speaking them aloud, because they shared a tacit understanding: not to touch each other's deepest taboos. Some secrets were best kept to themselves, because they hated the same person and loved the same person...

At this moment, Jun Tianjiao had changed her clothes again, and her aura had also changed, becoming both sacred and coldly beautiful, as if she were now truly a "phoenix."

The black, tight-fitting fabric accentuated her perfect figure, sexy and voluptuous yet giving off a "dangerous" oppressive feeling. Beautiful roses always have thorns, especially this one.

"Now that I've finished my business, it's time to leave."

Her cold, indifferent tone was a stark contrast to her previous demeanor, a change so swift that Jun Tianxie almost suspected his sister might also have a dual personality like him.

Seeing her about to step out the door, Jun Tianxie hurriedly called out, "Wait! I have something to ask Grandma."

"Speak." The use of a flat sentence instead of a question indicated complete indifference.

Jun Tianxie was seething with hatred, yet he couldn't vent it. Even if she wasn't his own sister, this wasn't the right time to settle scores.

"Grandma came here... just by chance, or was she waiting for me?"

This was Jun Tianxie's main question tonight. He had absolute confidence in his counter-surveillance skills. If Jun Tianjiao had known the situation earlier and was waiting here, it proved his plan had a fatal flaw. If he didn't find a way to remedy it, the consequences would be unimaginable. Jun Tianjiao

remained silent for a long while before saying, "Is this your question?"

"Yes," Jun Tianxie shrugged.

Jun Tianjiao fell into another awkward silence. Just as Jun Tianxie was beginning to grow impatient, an inexplicable sense of danger instantly raised his inner energy to full alert.

But it was still a step too late.

"Whoosh!"

A long whip appeared from the void like a ghost, striking him squarely in the face.

"Crack!"

In the nick of time, Jun Tianxie used all his strength to turn his head, avoiding the whip's tip, but the residual force still grazed his forehead, leaving a small wound, and blood immediately soaked half of his cheek! This was already a stroke of luck amidst misfortune; if he had been even half a step slower, his fate would have been like the chair behind him, shattered into pieces!

Before he could even tend to his wound or curse, the whip he had just dodged had already turned and attacked him again.

"Damn it! Does she want to kill someone? How could she be so ruthless!"

Even before he could curse, Jun Tianxie suddenly fell straight to the ground. Just before his face was about to kiss the ground, he suddenly shot out like an arrow, followed by a powerful kick to Jun Tianjiao's ankle. "

You're heartless, so I'll be ruthless too! The one who started it is despicable! Don't blame

me for being merciless with my kick!" Unfortunately, even if Jun Tianxie was ruthless enough to "sacrifice his own family for the greater good," his elder sister, who inherited the Jun family bloodline, was not so easily dealt with. With a light tap of her toes, she soared upwards like a phoenix dancing in the sky, dodging his sweeping kick. With a flick of her wrist, a whip-like blade appeared miraculously from her sleeve, followed by a dense, torrential downpour of blows aimed at Jun Tianxie.

"Are you really going to murder your own brother, you crazy woman!"

This was no longer a time to talk back. Jun Tianxie used both hands simultaneously, within a mere ten feet of space, to block or deflect the dense rain of whips. Those he couldn't dodge, he used "Evil Nirvana" to take them head-on. While they didn't leave him bleeding, the burning pain was enough to make him suffer.

Enduring humiliation, he finally waited until Jun Tianjiao's moves were exhausted. With a move called "Palm of Heaven and Earth," a seemingly clumsy but actually incredibly powerful grab, it was as if he had grasped the most mysterious and ineffable essence of the "Dao" in the world. Although it was only a small part of it, it was enough for him to grab a section of the "Phoenix Dance Whip."

"Damn it! I finally caught this deadly whip of yours! You're so ruthless even to your own brother, so don't blame me for being ruthless to you too!"

Having finally caught his breath, and just as he was about to use the power of his "Evil Nirvana" to shatter the long whip in his hand, and then think about how to deal with his heartless sister, an astonishing energy suddenly surged from the whip. Before he could even increase his strength, his fingers were already flung apart.

"Such powerful skill?!"

The shocking thought had barely surfaced in his mind when a fragrant aroma wafted over, followed by a crisp, cold sigh, like ice colliding, in his ears.

"Why do you all think that a woman's skill is necessarily inferior to a man's?"

"Bang!"

A solid palm strike landed on Jun Tianxie's chest, sending him flying like a shrimp. Fortunately, his opponent had held back, allowing him to regain his footing just before crashing into the wall, preventing a louder thud.

"She actually did it! That damned old hag!"

He sprang to his feet, suppressing the turmoil within him, glaring at his older sister but making no further move. Their recent exchange had shown him that Jun Tianjiao's strength was no less than his own; in the current situation, a serious fight would likely result in him suffering the greater loss.

Compared to Jun Tianxie's disheveled appearance, Jun Tianjiao appeared calm and composed, her elegant demeanor showing no sign of having just fought.

"This lesson is to tell you never to overestimate yourself, and never to look down on women. The world doesn't revolve around you. Being too arrogant will only lead to an early death."

Jun Tianxie cursed Jun Tianjiao in his heart more than ten times, but on the surface, he pretended to be dejected and receptive, bowing his head and smiling bitterly, "Sister is right, Tianxie has learned his lesson."

Jun Tianjiao glanced at him and said indifferently, "You're only outwardly compliant but inwardly unconvinced, but it doesn't matter. Originally, I came here to cut off the genitals of the lecherous thief who was disturbing the order of Shuntian City. But since that lecherous thief is you, then consider this a small punishment as a warning."

Jun Tianxie cursed her in his heart, but on the surface, he pretended to be "receptive" and said with a forced smile, "I will keep it in mind."

"Whether you listen or not, if you underestimate the current state of the martial world, even a god couldn't save you next time."

Jun Tianxie nodded obsequiously, inwardly blaming himself for his bad luck—picking flowers on the queen bee's head and getting himself into trouble.

Jun Tianjiao's expression remained calm, showing no reaction to Jun Tianxie's attitude. Her crimson lips moved, a low and melodious voice slowly flowing from them, but the content was not as pleasing as her voice.

"I'm leaving... If you dare to utter a single word about what happened today, even if you're my brother, I'll kill you!"

Jun Tianxie thought to himself that she was indeed from the demonic sect; her nature was hard to eradicate. Once someone or something threatened him, even his closest relatives wouldn't be spared. Aloud, he

naturally replied, "Sister Tianjiao, please rest assured, I will definitely keep my mouth shut."

Jun Tianjiao brushed a strand of hair aside and said noncommittally, "I hope so."

Then, without giving Jun Tianxie another glance, she walked out the door.

Left behind, Jun Tianxie's expression could only be described as "astonished." For the first time in his life, he felt like he had met his nemesis, and the person giving him this rare feeling was none other than his own sister, making him even more miserable.

"Damn bitch! I hope you never fall into my hands again! I will make you pay for what happened today!"

Only after confirming that Jun Tianjiao was far away did Jun Tianxie dare to utter some platitudes that a thug would say after a defeat. Although he never cared too much about things like face or self-esteem, being completely trampled underfoot by a woman—especially since that woman was his own sister!—was not a pleasant feeling. He

glanced resentfully at Xi Rongyin, who was still unconscious. Her naked, sleeping beauty was alluring, but he had no desire to enjoy it at the moment.

Suddenly, as if struck by a sudden thought, a mischievous smile gradually replaced his previous annoyance. He muttered to himself, "Why didn't I think of that sooner...? I could use 'him'! Good sister, prepare to accept the grand gift your brother has prepared for you."

He clapped his hands and chuckled, then nimbly slipped out of the window like a cat, and then gracefully disappeared into the night sky like a bat.

The silvery crescent moon hung high in the sky, illuminating a tall, thin man in gray clothes on the ground. The moonlight stretched his shadow long and thin, his face as pale as wax, devoid of any color. Around him, a chill seemed to emanate from him.

The desolate night wind whipped at his body, lifting a corner of his sleeve. From his right shoulder down, his arm was severed cleanly, the empty sleeve fluttering in the wind, carrying an indescribable ghostly aura.

The one-armed man stood coldly silent, not uttering a word.

A soft footstep sounded from behind. The one-armed man closed his eyes and said coldly, "Finally here."

A cheerful, magnetic voice sounded behind him, laughing, "I'm truly sorry to have troubled you, Third Brother, to wait so long."

"Enough with the nonsense!" The one-armed man finally turned around to face the handsome, dashing man in flowing blue robes .

"There are two more. Now that they're here, Luo Yu, come out!"

As soon as he finished speaking, two more figures suddenly appeared about five zhang away from the one-armed man. Together with the blue-robed man who had just appeared, the three of them formed a perfect triangle, surrounding him. The one

-armed man's face was calm, but his gaze was extremely cold. His unfathomable aura made even the three men who were his enemies that night secretly admire him.

"They're all here; I can deal with them all at once."

Standing in the east corner, a young nobleman dressed in pristine white, exuding an aura comparable to royalty, smiled, revealing his porcelain-white teeth. "The title of 'Third in the World' is indeed well-deserved, but I must admit my inferiority in courage and composure."

Another young man in black, with hooked lips and a cold, resolute expression, stood in the west corner. The silver spider embroidered on his left chest was particularly striking. He appeared the most taciturn, but his words were the most chilling.

"After tonight, the title of 'Third in the World' will become a thing of the past!"

The one-armed man coldly raised half of his thin eyebrow and said in a deep voice, "You alone?"

The blue-robed rogue laughed, "Brother Dugu alone might not be enough, so the three of us have to shamelessly join forces, with the aim of defeating Brother Third."

"Defeat?" The one-armed man sneered, "Kill them!"

The white-robed nobleman said in a gentle, almost timid tone, "We were forced into this situation. Please forgive us, Third Brother."

Despite being surrounded on three sides, the one-armed man remained arrogant and his tone was chilling: "I would be more than happy to have this opportunity to wipe out all of you, the so-called elites of the righteous path."

The black-robed youth said coldly, "You think you can defeat us?"

The one-armed man shook his head slightly and said, "Even if I said I could, you wouldn't believe me. To know the answer, you must pay the price with your life."

The black-robed youth finally changed color and said, "If that's the case, then what's there to say!"

The white-robed nobleman shook his head and said, "Brother Dugu, please don't be agitated. The situation hasn't reached the final moment yet. Relying on force is not the only option we want..."

A burst of silver light erupted.

No one could have imagined that the first to make a move would be the refined, quiet young nobleman in white, who always seemed unwilling to resort to violence and had been trying to "mediate" the fight just moments before.

However, the facts were undeniable. This sudden, yet fluid, and seemingly meticulously planned attack, like a sword strike rehearsed hundreds of times, was delivered by this refined and elegant young nobleman.

This unexpected strike surprised not only the one-armed man but also the other two on the swordsman's side. They knew the white-robed nobleman well, and thus hadn't expected him to strike first, given his calculating nature.

Because it was so unexpected, the white-robed nobleman's sword strike was all the more dangerous!

But the one-armed man was, after all, one of the world's top masters. His brief moment of excitement vanished in an instant. His gloomy expression returned to calm in a flash. When the sword tip was only inches from him, he lightly tapped his toes backward, and without any visible movement of his hands or feet, he instantly moved three zhang away, avoiding this almost fatal blow.

Everyone in the arena was a master, knowing that although the one-armed man had dodged the sudden attack, he had done so with extreme caution, risking leaving his defenses wide open. In other words, he had to kill the top warrior of the "Mingyue Sect"—the Third Under Heaven! This was the perfect opportunity.

A hint of hesitation appeared on the blue-robed rogue's face, seemingly unwilling to take advantage of the situation. The black-clad youth had already struck first, silently unleashing a hand chop towards the Third Under Heaven's back.

"Asura Blade!"

The Third Under Heaven groaned, knowing there was no way to dodge, and could only gather his strength in his back to withstand the black-clad youth's "Asura Blade"! The blade struck, and his entire body shuddered, blood seeping from his face.

Although the black-clad youth succeeded in his sneak attack, the force of the third-ranked martial artist's protective aura had left his arm numb, preventing him from continuing the pursuit. He couldn't help but think in horror, "The 'Hellwalker's' internal energy is indeed formidable! I wonder what level this third-ranked martial artist has reached?"

"Why aren't you attacking yet!"

The blue-robed rogue, who had been unwilling to join the attack, shook his head and sighed after being gently rebuked by the white-robed nobleman. He reached into his robes, seemingly to retrieve something.

"Little Li's Flying Dagger never misses! It's a pity I can't challenge this legend myself today!"

The third-ranked martial artist turned to face the blue-robed rogue, his face solemn, his tone devoid of fear or pleading. Their eyes met, the blue-robed rogue trembled slightly, took a step back, and finally gave a bitter smile before withdrawing his hand.

A strange look appeared on the face of the Third Under Heaven, and he shouted, "Good! Of the three heroes, only you, Xiao Yao, are still a man!"

"He's just a pretentious fool!"

Dissatisfied expressions appeared on the faces of Xiao Yao's two "companions." Their dissatisfaction was understandable, because just now, what might have been the only and last chance to easily kill the Third Under Heaven had been let slip by their fellow traveler.

Xiao Yao didn't offer any explanation, but simply shook his head and smiled bitterly, "I can't just kill him like this, and he shouldn't die like this either."

"Your strike might not have killed me."

The Third Under Heaven took a deep breath, a flash of crimson appearing on his pale face. Suddenly, a ghostly aura, ten times stronger than before, surged from his body, overwhelming the three outside the battle circle!

No one expected that the Third Under Heaven, even after being severely injured, could still unleash such powerful energy! At this moment, he was enveloped in a dense black aura, his eyes flashing crimson, radiating an incomparably sharp killing intent—he was practically a demonic beast ready to devour its prey! He was almost unrecognizable from the gloomy and aloof man he had been moments before.

"Hellwalker?!" the black-clad youth roared. "Xiao Yao! Look at what you've done!"

His cold gaze swept over them. Although the three were among the most formidable of the younger generation, upon meeting the gaze of the Third Under Heaven, they were involuntarily intimidated by the intense ghostly aura surrounding him, their hearts trembling.

"The second round is about to begin,"

the Third Under Heaven said coldly, his eyes even colder, his killing intent even more chilling.
