That makes sense. Everything that exists has its rationale, and couples having friends shouldn't be seen as a monster. As long as there's a need and someone is willing to do it, there's no need to look at it with prejudice or comment. People's needs are multifaceted, and adding a little fun to a mundane married life is perfectly acceptable. I support the original poster's point of view.
