Chapter Fourteen: Young Master Bai Dies for Lust, Di Renjie Eliminates Traitor and Destroys Temple. The poem reads: "
Wealth has always been the weapon that wounds, only now do we realize that scheming is the guillotine that protects life.
Cut away the dark clouds, and you'll find no discernment; who knew that words still held ambiguity?
Fortunately, he escaped the clutches of the treacherous net; for the rest of his life, he can only chant Amitabha .
Fate's arrangements are hard to change; know that lust brings calamity.
" When Changming heard the Emperor say it was a male monk, fearing further accusations, he couldn't utter a single word. Empress Wu Zetian reported, "This old nun is not accustomed to meeting the Emperor and is afraid to answer. She is indeed his son; he only arrived today." Emperor Gaozong asked, "What is his Dharma name?" Empress Wu Zetian replied, "He just arrived; I haven't asked yet." Then a courtier asked, "What is the monk's Dharma name?" Wang Cai pointed to his own name and reported, "My name is Huaiyi." The Emperor asked, "Where did you become a monk?" Wang Cai said, "This morning, I was shaved at the local temple. I just came to visit my mother and will stay there again." Emperor Gaozong said, "I was at the White Horse Temple and saw only two old monks there. Moreover, they own a lot of land; you can go to the White Horse Temple to cultivate." He instructed the Ministry of Rites to issue him a certificate of ordination and also bestowed a reward of twenty taels of silver upon each of them. Because Empress Wu Zetian was present, out of consideration for her, he ordered them to register their names, hence the reward. The Emperor withdrew, and Empress Wu Zetian followed. Upon reaching Wu Zetian's room, he whispered, "You may grow your hair long. When it grows long, I will come to take you." Wu Zetian knelt down to thank him.
Emperor Gaozong, having long desired to have sex with Wu Zetian, feared his attendants would find out, so he dared not do so and had to go out alone. Not long after, he returned to the palace. He also worried that the monk Huaiyi, who frequented Changming Temple and did not observe the Five Precepts and Three Refuges, might defile Wu Zetian. Thinking this, he became jealous and ordered Huaiyi to accompany him to Baima Temple, entrusting him to the monk's care. He also ordered ten Imperial Guards to patrol the temple morning and evening in shifts. Emperor Gaozong wanted to take Wu Zetian as his concubine, and a poem at the time mocked him: "
Long-haired nun, a hundred charms bloom, easily met with lust.
Emperor Gaozong, ruler of the land, will leave a stain on history for a thousand years."
Meanwhile, the young master Bai and the beautiful Wu Zetian were inseparable. Later, Wu Sansi, having lost Wu Meiniang, was greatly disappointed and wanted to find a wife, but he couldn't find anyone suitable, and he couldn't find anyone suitable either. He wanted to steal again with Yi'er, but since Wu Sansi no longer had Meiniang and saw that Bai Gongzi was not at home every night, he became obsessed with Li Yi'er. He was like a customer who never left his home, refusing to let her go no matter what. Sansi was caught in a dilemma, and could only go to Yu Mei Nunnery, where he became somewhat jealous of Bai Gongzi.
Yu Mei had always been unable to find Sansi, making Bai Gongzi feel like he was just a figurehead. Now that Sansi was frequently going there, and was also beautiful and young, and even had some advantage over Bai Gongzi in bed, how could she be truly interested in him? One day, Yu Mei said to San Si, "I'm here, and this old Bai keeps bothering me every night. I only think of you and have no feelings for him. Several times I've hugged Li and called Zhang, and he got jealous and angry with me. I think he was originally brought here by your good intentions, but now he's the one who's causing trouble for you. These past two days, he's been complaining about you with resentment. If the two of you start arguing, it will ruin the temple. That's not a good thing. I think I'll never amount to anything here. You haven't married yet, so why don't you let me go back and take care of your grandparents in their old age? Do you think that since you're an official, you can't marry me as your wife, but I can be your concubine?" "Once you marry a proper wife, I'll be with you whether you want me or not. What do you think?" Sansi thought, "Alright, alright. There's no time to lose. I'll come and get you as soon as it gets dark. Don't take any of your coarse clothes; just leave them behind." Yu Mei was overjoyed to see that he agreed and said, "Come early, lest you run into Old Bai and have to spend another night in annoyance." Sansi said, "I'll go first. I won't enter the mountain gate tonight. You can come as soon as it gets dark, and I'll wait for you up ahead." After saying this, he went straight out the door.
Now, Zhang Yu, who had been a bandit for seven or eight years, had his share of the loot and silver. He became excited and thought about marrying a wife and staying at an inn. But he had nowhere to stay, so he spent his days visiting brothels. Suddenly one day, thinking of Yu Mei, he wondered who had taken away the chest of treasures he had kept at home. Thinking of this, he felt extremely annoyed. He went to the City God Temple in Jingzhou and asked the oracle, "If I meet my wife again later, please grant me three more 'holy' divinations." He threw down the divination sticks, and they came up with three 'holy' divinations in a row. He then wondered, "Where is she?" He pleaded again, "Gods, if she hasn't left Jingzhou, please grant me three more 'yang' divinations." Sure enough, there were three 'yang' divinations. Zhang Yu saw this and said, "Such a strange thing, and she hasn't even left the city." He then said, "Holy Gods, now Zhang Yu doesn't know where I can see her. If she's in the east, please grant me three more 'holy' divinations. If she's in the south, please grant me three 'yang' divinations. If she's in the west, please grant me three 'yin' divinations. If she's in the north, please grant me 'holy yin-yang' divinations." He threw down the divination sticks, and they came up with three 'holy yin-yang' divinations. He thought, "She must be in the north."
He thanked the god and went straight into the north gate, walking along the way. Unexpectedly, the young master Bai was also walking north. Seeing this, he didn't dare to go forward and slowly followed him. Seeing him heading towards the entrance of the Puji Temple, he went straight in. Zhang Yu wondered, "What is he doing here?" He also quietly slipped inside, using the same stealth methods as a thief. As if by some strange twist of fate, Zhang Yu saw Yu Mei and the other two emerge. Upon seeing them, anger surged within him, and malice took hold. Just as he was about to strike, he realized he didn't have a knife. He hurriedly ran to his quarters to retrieve it.
Yu Mei told Bai Gongzi, "A young lady is coming to burn incense soon. She sent a servant to instruct her to enter each room. If you stay here, you might cause trouble. Hurry back and come back at dusk. I'll wait for you at the door." Old Bai had no choice but to come out. It was Yu Mei's good fortune that she wasn't destined to die. Zhang Yu went to get the knife, which was still seven or eight li away, and would take an hour. Yu Mei thought, "If I go late tonight, Old Bai will surely come and annoy me again." She thought, "I'm not dressed as a Taoist priest, and I have nothing to weigh me down. I'm just a traveling singer, so I don't care if my shoes and socks are too small." She took some hidden jewelry, put it in her sleeve, and went back the way she came.
She saw Zhang Yu angrily rushing to the nunnery, but it was already dark, and the gates were closed. She thought, "He must be inside by now." She considered jumping in, but feared the locals would see her and pull out a knife, accusing her of being a thief. She decided to wait until late at night before going in. It was dusk, and everything was quiet, so she jumped in. Just then, Old Bai knocked on the door. Zhang Yu heard him and said that someone had seen him and was knocking to arrest him. She stood inside, listening quietly. Old Bai flicked his fingers, calling out, "Yu Mei, I'm here!" Enraged, he cursed, "That damned thief! I'll teach him a lesson!" He opened the door and Old Bai entered the nunnery. Zhang Yu glanced at him carefully, confirming his suspicions, and with a single blow to the head, killed him. He then went inside to find Yu Mei. He heard the laughter of men and women inside the nunnery and dared not attack, wanting only to find Yu Mei and ask her which thief had taken the items and fled with her. He would only kill him after getting the full details. He searched another room, but was unexpectedly seen in the darkness by an old Taoist priest in his sixties, pacing back and forth with a knife. Panicked, he ran out to avoid him, only to see a corpse lying on the ground. Just then, a group of constables passed by, and he told them everything. The men rushed in, shouting. Hearing the shouts, Zhang Yu knew people had come to arrest him, so he hid behind the door. Once everyone had gone inside, he entered and ran out. Someone else saw him and exclaimed, "The thief has gone out!" The crowd shouted in response. It was as if:
He ascended to the heavens, riding the clouds in pursuit.
Zhang Yu was caught by the group, seized, and a knife, dripping with blood, was found. Everyone exclaimed, "In this peaceful world, why kill someone?" He was bound and put in a shop overnight, to be taken to the mansion at dawn. The news spread quickly, and the Bai family already knew. They rushed to the nunnery and saw their young master Bai lying dead on the ground. They hurried to ask the nuns who had killed him, and the nuns replied, "The murderer has been caught; he's ahead." The servants rushed forward and stood guard. Meanwhile, Yu Mei arrived at the Wu family's house and found several servants already there. The gatekeeper asked, "Where did you come from, madam?" Yu Mei replied, "I want to see your Uncle Wu." Just then, San Si came out and led her inside. Not to be continued.
Upon hearing of her husband's death, Li Yi'er panicked, and Liu Lang also went to the streets to inquire. The next morning, they brought Zhang Yu to the front of the mansion, where the magistrate was already seated. The crowd said, "Master Di is truly good; let's send him to the Court of Judicial Review." How so? A poem testifies: "
His brilliant writing surpasses all others; now his great name is known in Jingnan.
His officials all praise him as a law-abiding official; he is worthy of being called a virtuous and just official in both capitals."
Then everyone led Zhang Yu and the others inside to kneel. Judge Di asked, "What is the matter?" The crowd replied, "It's a murderer named Zhang Yu." Judge Di asked, "Why did Zhang Yu kill someone?" A member of the Bai family knelt down and said, "Sir, two years ago he stole a chest from our master, Young Master Bai, and then returned. A man named Jiang Cai was beaten to death by us. Zhang Yu ran away, and we couldn't find him. Last night he killed our master. We beg you, sir, to do justice." Judge Di asked, "Where was he killed?" The crowd replied, "At Puji Temple." Judge Di said, "There must be a reason." He asked Zhang Yu, "You stole the chest that year, and we couldn't catch you. You're already a fugitive robber. Why did you go and kill him?" Zhang Yu said, "That year, I went with Jiang Cai to steal his chest. It's true. I ran fast and didn't catch him. When I returned home, I found the chest open, and my wife and children were gone." Judge Di said, "This is your..." "My wife had an affair and ran away together. How could you kill Young Master Bai?" Zhang Yu said, "Sir, I had no wife and was searching everywhere. Yesterday, I went to the Puji Nunnery, and Young Master Bai went in. I followed him. I saw him and my wife flirting inside. I was enraged and killed him." Judge Di asked, "Why didn't you kill your wife?" Zhang Yu replied, "I was looking for my wife there when she was captured by the crowd." Judge Di asked, "What was your wife's name?" Zhang Yu replied, "Zhou Yu Mei." Judge Di said, "Quickly arrest Zhou Yu Mei." The nun knelt down and said, "Sir, she escaped last night when there were many people." Judge Di asked, "Was this Yu Mei brought by Young Master Bai?" The nun said, "No, it wasn't Young Master Bai. It was a servant of the Wu family, named Wu Sansi. He brought her early one morning."
Judge Di issued a warrant and immediately arrested Wu Sansi. Seeing that he looked to be only in his early twenties, Master Di asked, "Was it you who took Zhang Yu's wife to become a nun?" Sansi panicked and could only promise. Master Di asked, "Where did all those things go from the Bai family's box?" Sansi panicked and said, "It was an empty box." Master Di laughed, "How absurd! A thief only takes the good things when stealing. If he's stealing a box, he'll only take the heavy ones. Why would he take an empty box? This is because you and Yu Mei had feelings for each other, so you took her things and sent her to become a nun. No need to say more." Wu Sansi panicked and couldn't give a proper answer. Just as he was about to use the clamps, the two servants of the Bai family, who both liked Wu Sansi, saw that he was flustered and spoke up for him, saying, "Master, last night the master was enjoying the moon outside the city. Two thieves, Zhang and Jiang, stole a chest, and this chest was the largest. The master is always on guard against thieves, so he anticipated that if thieves came to steal, they would choose the largest and heaviest chests. Therefore, the chest was filled with stones, and this is the truth."
Seeing that the owner did not admit it, Master Di let it go. Then he asked Sansi, "Why did you take him to become a monk?" Seeing that the Bai family was helping him, Sansi became bolder and said, "My lord, this was Zhou Yumei's little scheme. She said it was stolen by two people. They thought the contents of the box would have to be divided. Because it was so heavy, they figured they could take out two or three pieces without noticing. But when they pried it open, it was all stones. Yumei wanted to put it back on, but she accidentally broke the box. Fearing the two thieves would return and suspect them, she wanted to commit suicide. At that time, I went to..." He passed by the gate and saw him coming out, so he asked him why. The man, without shame, told him the whole story. I thought, saving a life is better than building a seven-story pagoda, so I had no choice but to persuade him to become a monk. This is the truth, and I dare not lie.” Master Di thought, “You don’t know him well, how can you say he disregards shame?” Sansi said, “He’s a neighbor who lives across the street.” Master Di said, “You shouldn’t meddle in such things. He killed someone today, which is no small matter. Today I will question you about the crime of abducting a woman.” Sansi then said, “Sir, my aunt…” "My daughter, Wu, was abducted by Zhang Yu and hidden in Mohua Manor. He wanted to sell my daughter, but she fell into the water. Fortunately, Heaven had eyes, and the Bai family brought her back." Master Di said, "Quickly arrest Wu." Sansi said, "Eight years ago, she moved into the inner court and was appointed as a concubine
by Emperor Taizong." He then pointed to the Bai family and said, "If you want to know the truth, you only need to ask them." The Bai family member said, "Sir, we don't even know the name of the thief we killed. It's just that Zhang Yu came to Mohua Manor that day and thought Jiang Cai hadn't been killed. When we went to ask him, it was my wickedness who..." Taking Zhang Yu with him, he went to see Empress Wu. Later it was discovered that the person beaten to death was Jiang Cai. Mr. Di scolded: "You slave, you can't escape the death penalty." He abducted other people's women, and then became thieves and stole other people's belongings. Now that people are killed, just talk about these things, but is it true? "He said again: "If you don't take care of your physiology for eight years, you will definitely do something wrong. Where do you rest? Zhang Yu said: "In a hotel outside the city." Master Di immediately followed four messengers and told him to get Zhang Yu's luggage. The shop owner was not allowed to disturb him and came quickly. The four men seemed to fly away and fetched them all at once. They were all gold and silver jewelry and rare treasures. When Master Di saw it, he said, "Why not steal it?" Forget it, I won’t chase you. You're such a wicked person, so don't waste time on paper and pen again and beat me to death. "He was divided among his subordinates: "Hit me hard. "After hitting the eighty board, Zhang Yu died. Mr. Di said: "Bury the corpse on the ground of the cemetery. "The Bai family took the corpse for burial, and brought the gold and silver clothes to the official body. In the Puji Nunnery, all the nuns were expelled and burned down. Wu Sansi should have been punished, but Zhang Yu, who had abducted Wu's wife, had been away for some time, thus absolving him of this crime. Only Zhang Yu's sister was not apprehended. All the nuns were expelled without question. There is also a poem praising Lord Di: "
A man leans against the golden cliffs of Nanfeng, his office heard at the iron fortress of Beigu.
Observing the wind, halberds stand in rows, frost invades the door; In the courtyard, the moon hangs like a hook."
Later, Lord Di became the governor of Henan. Because of the prevalence of lewd talk and the mixing of monks and nuns in Wu and Chu, he reported the Puji Nunnery incident to Emperor Gaozong. More than 1,700 nunneries were burned down. Only the shrines of Xia Yu, Wu Taibo, Ji Zha, and Wu Zixu remained.
What will happen next? We will find out in the next chapter.
Chapter Fifteen: Yi'er Mistakenly Loses the Golden Bracelet; Sansi Reunites with the Nine Dragon Hook. The poem says:
"Her beauty is only fit for Matai; who will plant her everywhere in Jiangnan?
Snow fills the mountains where a hermit lies; the moon shines on the forest where a beauty comes."
The cold wind rustles through the sparse shadows of bamboo, spring's lingering fragrance is hidden in the moss.
Since the fisherman left, there has been no more pleasant rhyme; the east wind has brought sorrow and loneliness many times over.
Wu Sansi, having experienced a great fright, returned home and told his grandparents everything. Wu Xingzhi, after listening, said, "Thank heavens, what a fine Lord Di!" He said to Yu Mei, "Now you have no one to rely on, so stay here and live a good life." Yu Mei served the old couple very carefully, and thus the old couple liked her.
Sansi said, "Today I am going to send Young Master Bai to his coffin. Be careful of your grandparents." He immediately went out to the Bai family, first meeting the two servants who came to see the officials, and thanked them profusely. Then he went inside and saw the Bai family relatives discussing the successor, choosing a nephew to be the heir. Liu Lang and Wang Bangxian were also there. It turned out that Young Master Bai had already been placed in his coffin and carried to the grave, and everyone was preparing for the funeral. Li Yi'er walked in and out without avoiding people. Upon seeing Sansi, she asked, "You had a fright today." She then smiled at him. Sansi understood, laughing at the box. They exchanged glances, but with so many people around, it was difficult to make a move, so he had to return home that evening.
Yu Mei welcomed him into the room, asking, "Have you had dinner yet?" Sansi replied, "Yes." Yu Mei then focused on talking to Sansi. Sansi said, "I don't know how your husband knew it was Young Master Bai and vented his anger on him. If it had been any later, we would have been killed." Yu Mei said, "Thank goodness we weren't supposed to die. If we were, we probably wouldn't have escaped." Sansi said, "Let's sleep." The two undressed and went to bed, falling asleep immediately.
Sansi, in his twenties, was full of energy; his penis was hard, erect like cast iron. Yu Mei squeezed it and said, "Your thing is half again as big as Lao Bai's. When I first met Lao Bai, I thought his was as hard as yours. Now that you're a bit older, it's as hard as his." San Si replied, "I've never really enjoyed myself with you before; it's always been a secret affair, so I can't be truly satisfied. Now that things are settled, let's have some fun." He pulled her up and thrust inside, pumping in and out twenty or thirty times until her juices flowed out, making a slippery, wet sound. San Si then thrust into her repeatedly, and Yu Mei cried out softly, her body going numb. She held his waist tightly and kissed him, saying, "My darling, you've fucked me to death this time."
Wu Sansi, aroused, closed his eyes and mouth, resting his hands on the mat, remaining silent. He treated Yu Mei as if she were dead, relentlessly thrusting into her. Yu Mei, overcome with lust, gushed forth her juices, nearly fainting, her hands going limp, letting Wu Sansi's wild thrusting drive her to the brink of death. Yu Mei gasped, "Sweetheart, stop for a moment, let me catch my breath." Wu Sansi withdrew and asked, "How was today?" Yu Mei replied, "Doing these things is all about personal whim, but yours is truly interesting. That year, on the chest, when you were fucking me, I laughed at my husband for stealing a big 'hairy' king instead. Unexpectedly, we started fucking, which was quite fun. Later, what you said was true; in that nunnery, it was all frightening and I couldn't muster any interest. But today, this time, I found it very interesting." "Having said that, he covered his mouth and kissed her a few more times. Sansi said, "How many men have fucked your thing?"
Yu Mei thought, "It wouldn't hurt to tell him." Then she thought for a moment and said, "It's not worth keeping track of." Sansi said, "You don't need to tell me about Suzhou. But how many have you had here?" Yu Mei said, "Zhang Yujiangcai, no need to mention him. Young Master Bai, you, Liu Lang." Sansi said, "Which Liu Lang?" Yu Mei said, "It's Zhang Liu Lang." Sansi said, "When did you two start seeing each other?" Yu Mei then told the truth, "That year, on a lantern night." She recounted the whole story. Sansi thought, "What a pity, what a pity, my girl was defiled by Liu Lang. No wonder that year, when I went to fuck him, he was tight in the morning, but loose and wide at night."
Yu Mei said, "You and your nephew can do it?" Sansi said, “When this thing gets hard, if you’re in a moment of pleasure, you just fuck it, not caring about your family. I’m telling you right now, I don’t know how many women who keep lovers are sucking their mouths while they’re fucking each other.” Yu Mei said, “If you count all over the world, there are probably tens of millions.” Sansi said, “More than that.”
The two of them were having fun and started fucking again. Yu Mei cried out, “My darling, you fuck me so well.” Sansi said, “I ask you, Jiang Cai, Zhang Yu, Liu Lang, Lao Bai, and I, the five of us, who fucks me well?” Yu Mei said, “Zhang Yu and Jiang Cai are good at fucking, but they’re vulgar. They’re good when they’re in a moment of pleasure. But once it’s over, that affection is gone. For example, Lao Bai’s thing is small, and he needs to be flattered. He’s a young master, not good at serving. Liu Lang is more to my liking. He’s good at it, and he’s handsome.” "After you came along, he paled in comparison." Sansi said, "I am not as good as him." Yumei said, "Comparing you to him, you are far inferior. You are as beautiful as him, as gentle as him, your thing is bigger, and your sex lasts longer. Aren't you far inferior?" As she spoke, she pressed her body against him, wanting Sansi to have sex with her. Seeing that he was so interested in talking, Sansi thrust hard, fucking him until he cried out in ecstasy, and they didn't stop until almost midnight.
The next day, he went to the Bai family to attend the funeral. He went out every day for the first seven days, returning only at night, letting Yi'er and Liulang have sex. One day, Sansi saw Liulang carrying a large bag of silver, looking at it in the building. Sansi went up unexpectedly and saw him. He knew that Yi'er had given it to him. He thought to himself, "I let those two get along these days, and I'm so close to him. Now I want to go and rekindle our romance." "After the forty-seventh day memorial service, the Bai family closed the coffin, and most of the mourners dispersed. The adopted son was only five years old; he knew nothing of age. This sixth son, having some silver, went gambling again. He was nowhere to be seen during the day, and even at night, he rarely visited. Yi'er would often make plans to meet him, but he would wait in vain, and she would always regret it. Sansi, wanting to be with Yi'er, went every day, but he was afraid his family would find out, so he would also visit her. This sixth son, often losing at gambling, would think of Yi'er. When he came, he would always close the gate, preventing her from entering. He would often give the old gatekeeper three or five cents to buy wine, and the old man would even let him through the inner gate." "I'll let him come whenever he wants."
One day, Sansi, half-drunk, went to the Bai family's house as darkness fell. No one was at the door, so he went inside. Once inside, he saw no one. He sat in the study and closed the door. A while later, as the night deepened, everyone inside slept quietly. He went straight to Yi'er's door and gently pushed it open; it was open. Sansi knew it was Liu Lang waiting, and that he had deliberately left it unlocked. He reached for the bed and saw Yi'er fast asleep. Sansi removed his clothes, quietly lifted the covers, and penetrated her. He thrust into Yi'er, making her moan in her sleep. After being thoroughly violated by Sansi, she finally woke up and cried out, "Fuck me to death! Why didn't you come last night? You waited until the middle of the night before you slept!" Sansi said, "I am Liu Lang, even better than Ruan Lang." Yi'er then recognized Sansi and cried out, "My darling, I've been thinking of you all this time, and you've only come today!" Sansi said, "You've been having such a good time with your sweetheart, why are you still here with me?" Yi'er said, "You must have someone else, that's why you're not coming." Sansi didn't answer, and continued to fuck Yi'er until she was overflowing with lustful fluids, her breath steaming, her legs spread wide, her eyes open and her teeth closed, moaning as if she were in a daze. After a while, she cried out, "My darling, you're the best at fucking me, you must come and fuck me every night."
The two were whispering sweet nothings, not realizing that Liulang had already been inside for a while, and they wondered who he was fucking. Later they realized it was Sansi, and he couldn't stand it anymore, so he said, "Wu Sansi, why are you having an affair with your friend's wife?"
The two were shocked, and from his voice they knew it was Liulang. The two put on the covers and sat on the inside of the bed, and saw Liulang muttering, "So eager to fuck, how shameless." "The two of them were trembling with anger, but they couldn't bring themselves to talk back, so they had no choice but to endure it. Liu Lang had only hoped to trick Yi'er out of a few more taels of silver to gamble, but he was greatly disappointed to find San Si there. He sat on the edge of the bed, nagging incessantly. San Si whispered in Yi'er's ear, 'I'm going, let him come.' Yi'er hugged him and said, 'Don't go, let me get rid of him. I fell asleep here with the door open, and he got his hands on me.' Yi'er said, 'You keep nagging now, go to sleep if you want, or wait until tomorrow. If someone hears us, we won't be able to come.' Liu Lang said, 'He told me to sleep, but San Si won't go. Are we supposed to share a bed? I'll just go over there and see what he does.' He sat down next to Yi'er, touched something in his hand, and found a pair of bracelets. He was delighted, thinking, 'These gold bracelets weigh five taels, they're made of pure gold, they're worth at least forty taels.'" "Let's go gamble with him a couple more times, then I'll go get it." He put it in his sleeve and said, "I'm going now. Tomorrow I'll see if you, you little beast, live or die in my hands." He went straight out the door.
Yi'er told Sansi to lock the door and start fucking again. Yi'er said, "I have this disgusting thing." Sansi said, "If you hear it's me, you should leave. Don't say anything. Tell me tomorrow. That's the proper way. What's the use of saying these two sentences?" Yi'er said, "Your words are naturally interesting when you say them out loud." Sansi said, "I just cursed at him for nothing." Yi'er said, "He'll let it go when he sees you leave. Don't you know that you can't lose money?" Sansi said, "That makes sense. I just left, and now I'm fucking someone more interesting." "He put Yi'er's legs up and fucked her inside, holding her legs on one shoulder. After fucking for a while, he touched one leg. After fucking for a while, he covered her and pushed her in from behind. He then turned her to the side and fucked her from both ends, pouring water on the candle and trying to start a fire from across the mountain. He did this for half the night, and although he was excited, he didn't feel very satisfied. He put her legs up again and thrust in and out. He pumped in and out for a while. Yi'er was deliberately fucked better by Sansi than by Liulang, to the point of being almost dead. Sansi stopped and said, "I'm going now." Yi'er asked, "Did you come in through the door today?" Sansi said, "Nobody knows." Yi'er said, "The young official who has now been inherited is taken to sleep by his wet nurse, but he only comes to play during the day. Otherwise, you can stay here tonight and meet again in bed tonight." Sansi said, "Zhang Liulang is jealous again." Yi'er said, "Since Wang Bangxian isn't coming, you can sit upstairs in the study. I'll do some things with you during the day." Sansi agreed, "That's fine." Yi'er said, "Now you can sleep soundly until dawn. Go upstairs to wash up, and I'll have someone bring you food." Sansi said, "How can this little girl handle that?" Yi'er laughed, "You don't know that I have a head maid and two servant wives, both of whom have been taken by Zhang Liulang, so they're all of one mind." Sansi then laughed, "You've really opened the door wide." "
The two embraced and fell asleep. At dawn, Sansi went straight to the study to wash and dress. Since he hadn't slept all night, he lay down on the bed. He saw a woman named Chun'er, the one who had brought him dinner earlier. He said that Chun'er was someone Liulang had slept with Yi'er the night before and didn't want to be with Sansi anymore. He often thought that Liulang had been good to him and that if he couldn't see him, he could have sex with him again. In the morning, he heard Yi'er say, 'Bring breakfast to the study.' He thought it was Liulang, so he quickly combed his hair, put on some clean clothes, and two thin skirts. He went upstairs and saw that Sansi was still sleeping on the bed. He put down the tray and saw that he was covered up and fast asleep. He gently pulled off his pants, touched his penis, and saw that it was erect like iron."
Chun'er, overcome with lust, couldn't wake him. She climbed on top of him, pulling her vulva all the way in and covering it. She did this dozens of times, her vaginal fluids flowing down to the base of Sansi's penis, screaming wildly until Sansi awoke. He pulled back his sleeve and saw a strange woman. Chun'er blushed upon seeing Sansi, her fluids flowing down her legs, and she ran away. Sansi scrambled up, ran over, and grabbed her, saying, "Little lady, this is extremely interesting, why are you rejecting me?" Chun'er remained silent. Sansi looked at her face; she was handsome, with delicate features, a rosy complexion, and a few freckles, and was incredibly alluring. He pulled her back, kissed her, pushed her onto the drunken chair, put her legs on his shoulders, and began to undo her trousers, only to find two skirts instead. He laughed, "So you're just a casual gambler." Then he went inside: one was a young woman, the other a strong young man; one said their wedding night had brought them together; the other said they had mistaken Liu Lang for someone else and had many affectionate moments on Tiantai Mountain. One said they were destined for each other in a past life, no need for the matchmaker; the other said they should never forget their vows and repay them for all the promises made. It was truly a scene of phoenixes dancing in the human world, mandarin ducks swimming on the water.
As they entered, enjoying themselves, Yi'er came upstairs and saw them, laughing, "You haven't even eaten, doing such strenuous work!" After a moment's thought, she let go, and Chun'er ran off like the wind. Yi'er glanced at the table, looking at various things. Sansi asked, "What are you looking at?" Yi'er replied, "Yesterday I had a pair of gold bracelets, which were by my bedside. I went to look for them after I finished washing up, but I couldn't find them." Sansi said, "Could it be that I took yours and came here to look at them?" Yi'er laughed and said, "I suspect you're playing a trick on me, deliberately hiding them." Sansi said, "Last night, Liu Lang came and sat by the bed for a while; I think he took them." Yi'er blushed and said, "Yes, yes, what should I do?" Sansi said, "The day before yesterday, I saw him here picking through a large bag of silver. He told me it was from you." Yi'er blushed again and lowered her head, remaining silent. Sansi said, "I know, he loses big at the casino every day." Yi'er said, "Don't take the bracelet away, what should we do?" Sansi asked, "How much does it weigh?" Yi'er said, "A little over five taels, it's real, fine gold." Sansi said, "One ingot." Yi'er said, "It belonged to his ex-wife. I saw her wearing it and I loved it, but I couldn't have it. She died before I could wear it, and now this gambler has taken it. What should we do? Go find it for me." Sansi said, "He cursed me last night and left in a huff. How can he come back?" Yi'er remained silent. Sansi ate his meal, thinking, "I should go find him. Otherwise, Yi'er will suspect me." He quickly finished his meal, then, in front of Yi'er, he spread his sleeves and said, "I'll be right back, my sleeves are empty." He went downstairs.
Yi'er felt bad seeing him with his sleeves spread. She wanted to keep him, but he was too fast and went to the inner room. Sansi knew the gambling den was at the East Gate, so he went straight there. He saw five or six men cursing Liulang, saying, "How shameless! You lost the bet and have nothing to pay, yet you only think of taking things for free?" Sansi asked, "You're gambling so early in the morning?" Liulang's face turned bright red when he saw Sansi, and he lowered his head. One of them recognized Sansi and said, "Master Wu, last night we were playing here. He brought two men and insisted on coming down to gamble. He took a pair of gold bracelets, worth only thirty or forty taels of silver, but he took seventy taels of chips twice. Now we have nothing to pay them, and the camp is in trouble. Are you going to pay them back?" After saying this, the men started cursing again and tried to strip him of his clothes. Sansi said, "In that case, let him go home and get it." The men said, "Let him go home, but we can't take the silver; we'll just strip him of his clothes." With that, they started to untie his belt.
Liu Lang panicked and cried out, "Brother Wu, tell me, I'll go home and get it!" San Si said, "If you ask me, it's not difficult. If you don't return it to him, this little beast of mine will truly die in your hands." These acquaintances had originally thought of Liu Lang as a drinking buddy, just to tease him. Now that they had won more than fifty taels, they were quite satisfied. If San Si said another word, they would all pretend to be acquainted and let him go. San Si said, "Gentlemen, he is a respectable friend. Let him go, and he can bring it later." Everyone said in unison, "Since Master Wu has repeatedly said so, let him go. If he doesn't bring it tomorrow, we'll all go to his house and sit down." Upon hearing this, Liu Lang ran out as fast as he could. Sansi told everyone, "He stole this bracelet from someone, and there was even a quarrel afterward."
Having said this, he went out and went to the Bai family. He saw Yi'er and said, "Giving him a pair of bracelets wasn't enough to appease him; we had to strip him naked. He begged me repeatedly, and only then did we disperse him. Otherwise, there would have been much more trouble." Yi'er said, "What should we do? Let's wait until he comes and see what kind of face he has when he sees me." Sansi laughed, "He won't come again. If he's short twenty taels of silver, he won't even dare to walk out on the street." Sure enough, Liulang couldn't get in and disappeared again. Sansi and Yi'er became close again. But that's another story. Now, let's
talk about Wu Zetian. After a year of growing her hair, it was over seven feet long. Emperor Gaozong knew this and sent someone to bring her to the palace, appointing her as Zuo Zhaoyi. Empress Wu then entered the Zhaoyi Palace, and her favor in the harem was restored. To know what happens next, please read the next chapter.
