[Urban] Desire to Heal the World (Complete) - 31

    page views:1  Publication date:2023-03-24
On the second day of Chapter Eight of the Great Completion

, Xiao Chong brought Lai Fu and his son to the emergency department of the Sino-American Friendship Hospital.

The head doctor was still the same lazy one, and the doctors were the same ones who liked to cut corners. After a warm greeting, Xiao Chong explained his purpose, and the doctors immediately lost interest. Some went to play cards, some slept, and some skipped work, leaving only one sentence: "Do whatever you want, you're not a newbie anymore, we're not serving you!"

Watching the scattered head doctor, doctors, and nurses, Lai Fu and his son were dumbfounded. Xiao Chong, however, was both amused and exasperated, and could only grab a stack of test request forms and start filling them out himself. Here, there was no other way but to do it yourself.

The test results came back exactly as Xiao Chong had diagnosed: Lai Fu's father's esophageal cancer lesions had disappeared, and the biopsy found no cancer cells! This news not only delighted Lai Fu and his son, but also made Xiao Chong jump and shout with excitement, just like a lunatic who had escaped from Qingshan Hospital. How could he not be happy? Since Lai Fu's father's cancer was cured, it meant that the golden toad really worked. As long as Sun Shanshan found the cancer-curing component in the toad, extracted it, and made it into medicine for widespread sale, this fortune? Ten Longji couldn't compare!

It's good for people to have ideals and ambitions, but if ideals and ambitions are too great, then they become delusions.

When Sun Shanshan returned, this fearless, beautiful, fiery, and fierce woman, who had countless lecherous men fall at her feet (or been kicked to the ground), immediately unleashed her invincible Xiao Chi technique upon seeing Xiao Chong. Although Xiao Chong's martial arts had improved somewhat, he was still firmly under her control. Sun Shanshan, gripping his hand, dragged him into the room amidst the astonished gazes of onlookers. As

soon as the door was locked, Sun Shanshan released him, frantically urging, "Quick, take off your clothes!"

"Grandma, can you please stop this? You're always so impatient when I see you. Were you a lustful woman in your past life?" Xiao Chong said with a bitter face.

"Stop your damn babbling! What did you say before you went to Guangcheng?" Sun Shanshan's eyes were filled with fire.

"What did I say?"

"You heartless little devil! You said you'd come see me in a couple of days, and you've been waiting for over a year, 365 days straight! Every single day has been unbearable! You don't care about me at all!" Sun Shanshan said resentfully, her eyes brimming with tears of grievance.

Why did that sound so familiar?

"I...I've just been busy!"

"Are you going to take your clothes off or not?!" Sun Shanshan's alluring eyes were bloodshot, as if bursting with lust! (Ever since Xiao Chong's phone call, she hadn't slept a wink. How could she not be aroused?)

"I'll take them off, I'll take them off!" Xiao Chong assessed the situation, knowing this wasn't the time to unleash his fury. He'd better give in first. Once he calmed her down, she'd be as docile as a lamb, completely at his mercy. So, he quickly stripped himself naked!

"Why aren't you taking your clothes off?!" Xiao Chong asked, seeing Sun Shanshan still standing there staring blankly at his naked body.

"You f***ing don't you know what gentleness is? Do women ever take their clothes off on their own? Am I that cheap?" Sun Shanshan cursed.

"Yeah, yeah, yeah!" Xiao Chong nodded vigorously, but in his heart he thought: You're not that cheap, but who was it that shamelessly dragged me into the room?

Seeing that Xiao Chong had given in and was even sensible enough not to anger her, Sun Shanshan's tone softened and teased, "You big pervert, what do you want to do by dragging me into the room?"

Xiao Chong almost fainted on the spot. Who dragged whom? So many people could testify. He wasn't afraid of being struck by lightning for lying through his teeth.

But Sun Shanshan, who was now lying on the bed, was indeed charming and alluring. A milky-white spaghetti strap dress that reached her knees perfectly complemented her fair and healthy skin. The low-cut spaghetti strap dress couldn't hide her two full breasts, and a dark valley was faintly revealed in the middle, rising and falling slightly with her breathing. The scenery inside was enough to make one linger, even risking one's life. Two smooth, red and white arms were displayed outside the skirt, the two hands clasped together and twisting restlessly. Following the hands down, long, delicate, and exquisite feet peeked out from under the skirt, a pair of delicate women's sandals hanging on the toes. The whole person looked strong yet slightly delicate, so charming that any man would be captivated by her. She truly deserved the title of the group's beauty.

Such a mesmerizing sight made Xiao Chong pounce on her without thinking, almost violently tearing at her clothes. But the skirt was very complicated, and it was very difficult to untangle it completely. Xiao Chong tried several times but couldn't get the hang of it, and could only anxiously try to untangle it from a distance.

Sun Shanshan was already panting heavily from his rough movements. Seeing him still fumbling and searching, she said anxiously, "If you can't untie it, then forget it. Why waste your energy!" As soon as she finished speaking, her slender hand reached into her skirt, pulled down a thin pair of panties, and with a flick of her tender foot, she pulled his penis under her. She reached out and stroked his already fierce and hard penis, gently rubbing it against her garden. When it was slightly wet, she guided it in. A long-lost feeling of fullness washed over her, and the little girl couldn't help but let out a moan. "Buy some more work, or I'll make you regret it!"

Under the coercion of the evil forces, Xiao Chong willingly did the hard labor, working tirelessly and enduring all the scolding and abuse. Looking at his face, filled with enjoyment and ecstasy, sigh, he had completely disgraced men. It was truly unbearable to watch. [Screen black...]

After the storm, the world returned to calm. Sun Shanshan, enjoying the bliss of a happy woman, fell into a deep sleep. Her still-erect penis remained inside her, leaving Xiao Chong, unable to move forward or backward, once again left her both amused and exasperated...

As dusk fell, Sun Shanshan slowly woke up, feeling a fullness inside her. Opening her eyes, she discovered that Xiao Chong's member was still inside her. The man she had longed for day and night hadn't slept at all, but was simply holding her, looking at her, and feeling her. Moved, all her resentment, dissatisfaction, and annoyance vanished. She said tenderly, "Chong... thank you! If you... feel uncomfortable, just come out!"

"You're awake, baby! You slept so soundly!" Xiao Chong exclaimed with a thankful look, thinking to himself: "Grandma, you're finally awake! If you hadn't woken up, my little brother would have cramped up!"

"Hmm, a little tired! It's all your fault!" Sun Shanshan complained. A phone call had kept her up at night, and she was eager to get home, wishing she could fly to Xiao Chong's arms immediately. But the airport wasn't hers to own; not only did she have to book her ticket, but the plane wouldn't take off until its scheduled departure time.

As Sun Shanshan spoke, she gently shifted her body, and Xiao Chong's red, semi-erect member, glistening with clear fluid, pulled out in long strands, while her pink garden slowly secreted its liquefied seeds.

"Shanshan, I have something to show you!" Xiao Chong said mysteriously as he got up and dressed.

"What is that?"

Xiao Chong walked to the corner of the room, picked up a snakeskin bag, untied it, reached inside, and pulled out a large, golden toad. He quickly ran to Sun Shanshan and said, "Look, what's this?"

"Ah—" Sun Shanshan screamed and jumped up. Such an ugly thing should only exist in hell; how often could one see it on earth! After finally calming her frightened heart, she carefully examined the thing. It was golden all over, covered in bumps, resembling both a toad and a frog. She couldn't help but ask, "What is this?"

"A toad! A very rare toad!" Xiao Chong said with a smile, like a mischievous child! He hadn't told Sun Shanshan beforehand why he wanted her back. He only said that he needed her now and wanted her to come back! This deeply infatuated beauty didn't even think twice before eagerly and anxiously flying towards Yuancheng!

"A toad? It's so ugly!" Sun Shanshan looked it over, paused, and then said something that shocked Xiao Chong: "But I like it so much!" She then reached out a small hand to gently stroke the smooth, golden toad.

"Hehe, I like it too!" Xiao Chong grinned foolishly.

"Tch, of course you do! Birds of a feather flock together, it's one of your kind, it loves swan meat!" Sun Shanshan teased.

Xiao Chong swallowed hard, his eyes rolling back, before finally saying, "Shanshan, I like it not because it likes to eat swan meat, but because it can cure cancer and bring us immense wealth!" "

What? Are you kidding me?" Sun Shanshan exclaimed. For hundreds of years, cancer has been a difficult problem for humanity to conquer. Although many cocktail therapies, white angelica root therapy, and even some Chinese Ganoderma lucidum therapy have been developed, the effects have been less than satisfactory. Although this toad looks a bit strange, she couldn't believe such nonsense from Xiao Chong who said it could cure cancer.

"It's true, listen to me..." Xiao Chong then recounted the miraculous story of how Laifu's father had cancer, how serious his condition was, and how he completely recovered after eating toads for a long time.

"Is that so?" Sun Shanshan was skeptical upon hearing this. She wasn't unfamiliar with legends about rare animals curing cancer—the elderly woman with late-stage colon cancer who recovered after eating water snakes for years, the uterine cancer patient who was completely cured after eating thousands of turtles—she had heard of many such cases. But the idea of curing cancer by eating toads was a first for her. Moreover, none of these cases had been clinically verified, making them hard to believe; they were just myths.

"Shanshan, don't you believe cancer can be cured?" Xiao Chong asked disappointedly, seeing the somewhat bewildered look on her face.

Seeing her lover's disappointed expression, Sun Shanshan couldn't bear to further discourage his get-rich-quick scheme, but she couldn't help but express her concerns: "Chong, I'm only half-believing in this kind of thing. The world is full of wonders; perhaps these toads really can cure cancer. But have you considered this? The cancer patient you just mentioned lived deep in the mountains. The air, environment, soil, and even the natural foods there have medicinal properties, not just toads. Besides, this patient's family is wonderful. His son is filial, catching toads for three years straight to cure his illness—such perseverance and filial piety are truly admirable. His wife is also very loving, always going to great lengths to prepare toad dishes for him. His wife is by his side, and his grandson is adorable and mischievous—he's incredibly happy. This naturally makes him feel relaxed and healthy, and this kind of atmosphere itself can be therapeutic. Therefore, I think that the patient's recovery might not be entirely due to the toads, but more likely a psychological therapy generated by the immense happiness, allowing him to recover without medication!"

"Psychological therapy?" Xiao Chong's eyes widened, completely bewildered. Her analysis, while reasonable, seemed more like nonsense than the idea of a toad curing cancer. Regardless, her words plunged him into despair. His hopes of saving countless cancer patients from their suffering vanished, and his plans to make a fortune were shattered. Unable to bear the blow, he collapsed to the ground. His grip loosened, and the toad god croaked and jumped away, disappearing into a corner of the room.

"Chong, what's wrong?" Sun Shanshan, seeing Xiao Chong's pale face and slumped to the ground, jumped up to help him, forgetting she was naked.

"Was it really just wishful thinking?" Xiao Chong murmured, his eyes vacant.

In Chapter Nine of the Great Completion, "Peerless Fantasy,"

Sun Shanshan, seeing his infatuated state, felt a pang of pain in her heart. She gently pulled him into her naked embrace, saying, "It's not necessarily just a fantasy. Many things you don't know until you try, and the results can be shocking! Although I'm not confident, you brought me back, which means you have faith in me. How can I let you down? Okay, I've decided, I'll go find the cancer-curing ingredient in toads for you!"

"Really?" A glimmer of light appeared in Xiao Chong's dejected eyes, truly sparkling!

"Yes!" Sun Shanshan nodded firmly.

Xiao Chong was overjoyed and hugged her tightly, shouting, "Shanshan, I love you, I love you to death! I love you so much!" In his eyes, as long as Sun Shanshan could help, success was definitely possible.

"Oh my god, I've given you every inch of my body, and you've never loved me much, but you love me to death because of a toad! What kind of person are you!" Sun Shanshan scolded playfully, but her heart was filled with sweetness!

"Who says I don't love you? I've always loved you half to death, but because of this toad, my love for you isn't just half to death, it's completely dead, utterly dead!"

"Don't keep talking about death, it's bad luck!" Like attracts like, and spending too much time with Qi Feier has made Sun Shanshan superstitious!

Xiao Chong held Sun Shanshan, looking at her fair and tender skin, feeling its smooth and delicate touch, his desire rising, and his lower body began to stir again.

Just as he was about to push Sun Shanshan onto the bed and wantonly rub her, he saw her cry out in alarm, "Toads, all the toads have run away!"

Xiao Chong turned around and his expression changed. He had forgotten to tie the knot when he untied the snakeskin bag, and the lively toads inside, already restless, had popped open after a few bumps, and the toads had jumped out, croaking everywhere, creating a noisy cacophony.

To their utter astonishment, a particularly large toad hopped and leaped onto the bed, still bearing the marks of lovemaking, and disappeared into the bedding.

"Chong, catch them!" Sun Shanshan shouted frantically, pulling on her clothes.

Xiao Chong rushed towards the scattered toads, but these toads, seemingly clumsy, were not easy to catch. They would lie motionless, waiting to be caught, but before you could even reach them, they would leap far away. If you chased them relentlessly, they would simply dart under the cabinet, under the table, under the bed… Xiao Chong chased one after another, but in the end, he caught none. It was as if these toads were ganging up on him!

Sun Shanshan looked at the chaotic room and Xiao Chong's pathetic and comical appearance, laughing uncontrollably as she sighed: "So this is the martial arts master Gao Lin? So lame! He's practically Michael Jackson, can't even catch a toad!"

The battle between man and toad lasted for over half an hour, finally ending in Xiao Chong's defeat. Helpless, Xiao Chong had to call for reinforcements—the toad-catching expert, Lai Fu.

Seeing that Sun Shanshan was already dressed, Xiao Chong summoned Lai Fu.

An expert is an expert, indeed extraordinary. Lai Fu strode forward, aimed at the toads, and with a swift, almost supernatural movement, caught them in his hand. Aside from croaking for mercy, the toads were soon all back in his snakeskin bag.

Xiao Chong was furious at these toad gods, and the consequences were severe. After Shuangxi's mother busied herself in the kitchen, the toads, now limbless, floated in a pot of soup, the broth delicious and the meat flavorful—all of them were devoured by Xiao Chong.

Five days later, when the leave approved by Lin Meimei was over, Xiao Chong took Lai Fu and his son back home, claiming: "One must be kind and keep one's word!" Actually… everyone knew he was afraid of Lin Meimei.

Since Sun Shanshan had promised to help him, she would never go back on her word. She told him to go first, and she would make some preparations and arrive later. Drug identification and research required a large number of sophisticated instruments and a dozen or so drug researchers, and she had to prepare all of these things. Although she knew the chances of success were slim, only 0.001%, she decided to put on this act to avoid giving him any reason to blame her later. If she was going to do it, she had to go all the way.

As they parted, Qi Feier was filled with reluctance and gave him countless instructions: "It's raining, don't forget your umbrella. Getting wet is one thing, but catching a cold is another!" After kissing

Qi Feier and Ouyang Li goodbye, Xiao Chong drove his Mercedes-Benz with Lai Fu and his father back to Guanyin Village in Huicheng. The return journey was different from the departure. Before, all three were anxious and uncertain, and since they weren't familiar with each other, they spoke little. Now, on the return trip, Lai Fu's father had recovered, and their worries had vanished, so they talked more.

Lai Fu's father sat in the back, and the bumpy ride had made him fall asleep. Lai Fu sat in the front, and the journey was lonely, so the two chatted about everyday things.

"Brother Xiao Chong, your wife is so beautiful, and your son is adorable! Your house is so big and luxurious, one room is like our whole old house! And that luxury car I only see on TV, it's so enviable!" Lai Fu exclaimed.

"Hehe, Brother Fu, don't be envious. You can be like me too!" Xiao Chong said with a smile.

"Me? Hehe, brother, don't laugh at me. I'm just a farmer, I wouldn't dare dream of such things!" Lai Fu's words revealed a deep sense of inferiority.

"It's not dreaming, it's really possible! Brother Fu, as long as you're willing, it won't be long before you live in a mansion, drive a Mercedes, and have a foreign dog!" Xiao Chong said meaningfully.

"Hehe!" Lai Fu thought Xiao Chong was teasing him and just chuckled awkwardly.

"What? You don't believe me?" Xiao Chong turned and looked at him.

"Brother, don't joke with me. I'm just a farmer. Besides farming and raising livestock, I only make about ten or twenty thousand yuan a year. To live the kind of life you have, that's a dream come true!"

"I'll show you a way to get rich. In less than three years, you'll be one of the wealthiest men in the area. Do you believe me?"

Lai Fu was taken aback, then excitedly replied, "Brother, you're a capable man! I knew it long ago! I believe you! Tell me, brother, what should I do? Once life is better, my kids, wife, and father won't have to suffer with me!" This simple man, like most people, dreamed of getting rich, but only so his family could live a better life.

"Then let me ask you, can you catch frogs? Can you raise frogs?" Xiao Chong asked.

Lai Fu was taken aback again. "I've caught plenty of toads, but I've never tried raising them! What's the point of raising these things? I'd rather raise more chickens, ducks, or geese than take them to the market, where anyone can easily buy them. But these toads..."

"Brother Fu, you don't know this. Let me tell you the truth: if my pharmaceutical experiment succeeds, the value of these toads will be incalculable! But don't worry if it doesn't succeed. I still savor the toad soup I had a few days ago. City people love delicacies. I run a chain of restaurants myself, and I have many friends in the same business, so sales are definitely not a problem. If you can raise them in large quantities, I'll take them no matter how many, and the price will be several times that of chickens, ducks, or geese."

"Brother, are you telling the truth?" Lai Fu's usually hazy eyes shone brightly at this moment. He wanted to get rich, he always had, he wanted to improve his family's life, he wanted to buy his wife more pretty clothes, he wanted to buy toys for his son, he wanted to buy his parents some supplements from time to time, and he wanted his family to eat meat every meal! But in this remote mountain village, poverty was rampant! It was so poor it was practically dreadful!

He and his brothers had tried to find a way to make a living, but with only a primary school education and being honest and simple-minded, they couldn't find any work in the big provincial capital except for manual labor like bricklayers! Not only was it hard work and exhaustion, but the expenses in the city were also high, and even with their meager income and frugal living, they couldn't send much money home. After several years of hard work, the prices of everything from firewood and rice to oil, salt, soy sauce, tea, and vinegar had risen, but their income hadn't kept pace. The brothers discussed it and decided to go back home and farm. They planned to cultivate their dozens of acres of wasteland, plant rice, and if the harvest was good, at current grain prices, it would be much better than

working as laborers. However, things didn't go as planned. The weather was uncooperative. The brothers worked diligently, day and night tending to the crops, but year after year, droughts and floods plagued the land. They were lucky if they could afford fertilizer and have enough to eat, let alone make a living. So when Xiao Chong suggested this get-rich-quick scheme, he was truly tempted! Rather than die poor for life, he might as well take a gamble and see if he could really turn his life around.

"Of course it's true, but I don't know how to raise toads, you'll have to figure it out yourself! But I can invest some money in you initially, and I can also find you a technical mentor! I'll provide the money, you provide the labor, and we'll split the profits 50/50, how about that?"

"That's great, that's wonderful! Brother, I'm so grateful to you!" Lai Fu said incoherently, his eyes welling up with tears. Having lived in darkness for over thirty years, he had finally seen the first light of dawn; how could he not be excited?

"Well, let's discuss this further when we get back. I need to go to Tang Village to take a look, and I also need to catch some toads to experiment with! Actually, raising toads for food is a last resort; if they can be used to make medicine, their value would be enormous!"

"Brother, if you tell me, how much per pound would these toads be worth if sold to a big restaurant for cooking? When I used to work in the provincial capital, restaurants often served something called 'stir-fried frogs with soybeans,' but I never dared to eat it. A plate of it cost thirty yuan! Are frogs the same as what we call toads?" Lai Fu asked.

"No, a toad is a toad, a frog is a frog, and a toad is a toad. Although they are close relatives, they are different. Frogs are now widely bred for food, but toads are rarely served because they are protected species. However, the ones you raise at home are an exception!

In the provincial capital, frogs generally cost between 15 and 20 yuan per jin (500 grams). Ordinary toads, the brownish-black kind, are not widely raised, and the market supply is extremely limited. They generally cost between 40 and 50 yuan. If it were served at a restaurant, this dish would cost at least 100 yuan! Only the wealthy know that stewed toads with soybeans is actually sweeter and more fragrant than stewed frogs with soybeans." "Delicious.

But the toads you produce there are golden yellow; to be honest, I've never seen one like them. I know a bit about frogs, and I can name most of the common ones, but I definitely don't know this kind of toad. When I first saw it, I thought it was a field frog, but after looking closer, I realized it wasn't. I've been searching online in Yuancheng these past few days; yellow ones exist, but I haven't found any that are this golden yellow and so big. If you put this on the dinner table, it would be a waste of its value if it didn't sell for a hundred or two hundred yuan per pound."

Xiao Chong's words left Lai Fu stunned. He hadn't expected that this unremarkable toad could be so valuable and have so much to offer. No wonder people often say that toads eat swan meat; it turns out that toads are so much more expensive than geese that cost ten or so yuan per pound!

"What if it were made into medicine?" Lai Fu couldn't help but ask again.

"Hehe, Brother Afu, aren't you being too greedy? If you could really cultivate it, the edible value alone would be enough to make you rich! You want medicinal value too? But since you asked, I'll tell you the truth. Actually, I don't know how much it's worth as medicine, but it's definitely not less than its edible value. Now I just want to ask you, are you going to do it or not?"

"Do it! Absolutely! Do it to the death, I'll do it to the end!" Laifu said with high spirits for the first time!

"Okay! Do it to the death!"

"..."

The two chatted and laughed all the way, while Laifu's father slept soundly in the back seat, even snoring! Unknowingly, the car arrived at the only road leading from Yangcun Town to Guanyin Village!

"Wow! Brother, look, a beautiful woman!" Laifu pointed to the left and exclaimed in admiration!

Xiao Chong didn't dare to make a judgment about the aesthetic standards of the farmer Brother Afu, so he could only look in the direction he pointed with some doubt.

In Chapter Ten of the Great Completion,

"Born to be a Rogue," Lai Fu exclaimed, pointing to the left.

Xiao Chong, unsure of Lai Fu's aesthetic standards, could only look in the direction he was pointing with a mixture of belief and doubt.

A beautiful woman, indeed very beautiful. She wore a pristine white dress and carried a small bag, walking slowly forward… I hadn't even seen her face yet, and she was already considered beautiful. Let alone Brother Afu, even Xiao Chong's aesthetic standards aren't that great! But this woman was truly astonishing. The white dress was just an ordinary one, but on this slender, mature woman, the dress seemed tailor-made for her, highlighting her figure brilliantly. She was about 1.7 meters tall, and her silhouette was shapely without being overly thin. She walked slowly, leisurely and carefree, not as if she were in a hurry, but rather admiring the scenery along the way.

Xiao Chong had never imagined a woman could walk with such elegance and grace. Her slender waist swayed gracefully, the exaggerated curves between her slim waist and shapely hips perfectly smooth! Her long, casually draped, wavy hair swayed gently in the wind. My God, this simple back view was simply irresistible!

Please don't make me want to commit suicide, please don't make me want to commit suicide! Xiao Chong prayed silently. There's a saying too many people have said: "Seeing her from behind makes you want to commit a crime; seeing her from the front makes you want to commit suicide!" So, while praying, he gently pressed the accelerator and caught up with the girl! She possessed

a slightly slender, classical beauty, with delicate, picturesque features. Her breasts weren't large, but they were just right. Perhaps the most captivating sight was her fair skin. In this desolate place, such a beauty was truly rare! Xiao Chong and Lai Fu were both somewhat mesmerized.

"Careful..." Lai Fu, being more honest, looked away after a moment. He already had a wife and son; even a single glance was a serious offense, how could he look any longer! But as soon as his gaze returned to the road ahead, he saw the car heading towards a deep ditch beside him and cried out in alarm.

Xiao Chong was jolted awake by the shout. Seeing the car about to plunge into the ditch, he quickly swerved the steering wheel, narrowly avoiding disaster! Back on the road, he couldn't help but think to himself: "Beauty is a curse, it seems it should be changed to 'Beauty Car Accident'!"

"Hey, little girl, where are you going? Let me give you a ride!" The one offering this seemingly kind invitation to the beautiful woman with lecherous eyes and drooling lips wasn't Lai Fu, nor Lai Fu's father, but Xiao Chong!

The woman glanced back at him; despite his handsome features—red lips, white nose, and fine eyebrows—he looked like a lecher. She cursed him inwardly: "Pervert!" She turned and walked away without looking at him.

Xiao Chong, whose conscience hadn't completely vanished but whose lust had long since taken hold, followed her slowly and persistently. "Hey, little girl, it's still two millimeters to the ferry. At your slow, deliberate pace, you'll probably be walking until dark! Get in the car, I'll give you a ride. We're also going to Guanyin Village!" There were no houses along this road; the ferry was just ahead, and everyone who passed through this road would inevitably pass Guanyin Village.

"Hmph!" The woman snorted and walked on without giving him a second glance!

Xiao Chong was once again rebuffed. Lai Fu smirked, while Lai Fu's father remained sound asleep, oblivious to everything around him.

Feeling a bit embarrassed, he decided to display his extraordinary driving skills and drive straight up to the woman's side, slamming on the brakes and shouting, "Hey beautiful, take a ride in my car, it's free!"

The woman, startled by the sudden approach, glared angrily at the man with ulterior motives.

"You look so beautiful when you're angry!" Xiao Chong used the flattery tactic from the Thirty-Nine Strategies of Picking Up Girls. Most clueless women would smile wryly, or at least give a coquettish scolding if they didn't get in. But this woman didn't seem to be clueless.

She glared at Xiao Chong with a livid face, then suddenly made a megaphone gesture and screamed, "Help! Indecent assault! Rape!"

Instantly, the car engine roared to life, and the car sped away. If they didn't run now, would they wait for the burly men working in the nearby fields to intervene and right this wrong?

In the rearview mirror, the woman was actually covering her mouth and giggling, making the pretentious Xiao Chong grit his teeth in anger! (Was he faking it? Wasn't he a scoundrel by nature?)

The Mercedes drove to the ferry dock, where a ferry, packed to the brim, was slowly approaching from the other side.

As the ferry drew near, Xiao Chong was startled to find Lin Meimei still on board, her face showing anxiety. He couldn't help but think: "She can't be that anxious, she's only a little late! Looks like I'll have to comfort her properly tonight!"

The ferry docked, and Lin Meimei, upon seeing Xiao Chong, didn't utter a single kind word, but instead scolded, "Were you dead in your love nest? Only now do you realize you've come back? Don't you have so many patients at the clinic to see? You were out having a good time, while I'm here so busy my legs are cramping, you know?"

Caught off guard by this sudden scolding, Xiao Chong was about to explode in anger, but Lin Meimei didn't give him the chance.

"What are you standing there like a block of wood for? Hurry up and check on this master!" Lin Meimei snapped.

Only then did Xiao Chong see several men who looked like migrant workers, clutching their hands and breathing heavily, their faces contorted in pain. Too lazy to argue with her, he quickly jumped onto the boat and carefully examined their hands, asking, "What happened?"

It turned out these men were workers rebuilding the Guanyin Pavilion. They had been digging lime by hand in the open air when a sudden, unpredictable sun blazed down. The lime reacted instantly with the water, becoming scalding hot, and the workers, caught off guard, were burned and were in excruciating pain. Wu Ye and Wu Yue had already tried to clean the burns with vegetable oil at the Guanyin Pavilion clinic, but the effect was minimal. The alkalinity of the lime remained, and the burns continued to spread. The inexperienced Erni was at a loss and had no choice but to send them across the river to Yangcun Town Hospital.

After hearing the story, Xiao Chong felt a pang of sadness looking at their blistered hands. However, they had no medicine on hand. The medicine Xiao Pang had sent should already be at the Guanyin Pavilion clinic, but crossing the river back would take at least half an hour. In half an hour, their hands would likely rot. Looking around, he spotted a small shop at the ferry crossing and rushed inside. He quickly grabbed about ten bottles of white vinegar, picked up the boatman's water bucket, and poured the vinegar in. A strong smell of vinegar immediately filled the air.

"Quick, soak your hands in! Acid can neutralize alkali!" Xiao Chong shouted.

As the saying goes, the ten fingers are connected to the heart, and the migrant workers were already in excruciating pain. Regardless of whether it was real or not, they all put their hands in. After a while, the pain subsided slightly, but it was still uncomfortable! Of course, white vinegar isn't a magic cure; while the acetic acid could prevent further burns, it couldn't stop the pain.

Seeing that the men were still grimacing in pain, Xiao Chong quickly drove his Mercedes onto the boat, telling the boatman to turn back immediately. The migrant workers needed pain relief, fluids, and anti-inflammatory treatment. Just then, the beautiful woman Xiao Chong had flirted with also arrived at the ferry crossing—truly a case of enemies meeting on a narrow road!

After the beautiful woman met Xiao Chong, her face flushed red, her eyes darting around, unable to meet his gaze, which seemed to threaten to assault her. When she saw several migrant workers soaking their hands in vinegar, she approached them like an expert, asking for their opinions. When they told her what had happened, she ordered the boat to stop and then hurried towards the shore.

"She must need to pee!" Xiao Chong thought bitterly, watching her hurried steps.

A moment later, the girl returned, holding several aloe vera plants she had found somewhere. She said to the migrant workers, "Brothers and uncles, squeeze the juice from these aloe vera plants and apply it to your burned hands. It will relieve the pain!"

The migrant workers were at their wits' end, like puppets on strings, moving only when pulled. Hearing her words, they hurriedly squeezed the aloe vera. Other villagers who needed to cross the river also rushed to help. After the aloe vera juice was absorbed by the wounds, the burned men stopped crying out in pain.

For a moment, everyone exclaimed in amazement, and soon a cheer erupted.

Xiao Chong, seeing the girl's smug and disdainful expression, gritted his teeth in anger. He quipped, "What's so great about it? I knew aloe vera could stop burns a long time ago, I just couldn't find any!"

"Hindsight is 20/20!" the girl said nonchalantly.

Xiao Chong was instantly furious, but under the watchful eyes of everyone, he couldn't lash out. He could only turn his humiliation into a curse: "I wish your endocrine system would go haywire, you'd become male, have flat chests, grow a beard, have irregular periods, and menstruate four times a month for a full thirty-one days… You'd better not fall into my hands, or you'll be sorry!"

After crossing the river, the injured men squeezed into Xiao Chong's Mercedes and headed straight for Guanyin Clinic.

White vinegar removed the alkali, aloe vera soothed the wounds, and their condition improved. However, to prevent infection, Xiao Chong still gave them IV fluids and cleaned and bandaged their wounds again. The pain would probably last for a few days, but it was better than having both hands crippled.

While he was busy, he saw the girl who had opposed Xiao Chong hobble into the clinic, her face pale, clearly ill.

The first curse was so effective? Xiao Chong was dumbfounded. She was fine just now! How did she become like this! Then he became excited. "Little girl, let's see how I deal with you!"

In Chapter Eleven of the Great Completion, "The Road to Enemies is So Narrow,"

while Xiao Chong was busy, he saw the girl who had been antagonizing him stagger into the clinic, her face pale, clearly ill.

The first curse was so effective? Xiao Chong was dumbfounded. Wasn't she fine just a moment ago? How did she become like this! Then he became excited. "Little girl, watch how I deal with you!"

"Hey! What a coincidence! Fate, what a coincidence!" Xiao Chong joked, then added gleefully, "Little girl, it looks like you're not doing too well!"

"Mind your own business! Where's the doctor? I'm looking for a doctor!" the girl said irritably.

Xiao Chong still grinned and said, "Sorry, I am the doctor!"

"You?" The girl looked at him with disdain, then asked, "Are there any female doctors? I need a female doctor to take a look at me!"

"Haha, no female doctors, but there are two female interns! If you want a female doctor, go to Yangcun Town Hospital!" Xiao Chong's expression at this moment… how should one look at him? " You're so smug !"

The girl was furious and about to leave, but then she remembered that although Yangcun Town wasn't a thousand miles away, it was at least forty or fifty kilometers. By the time she got there, she'd probably be dead!

"Surely there are other male doctors!" the girl said stubbornly.

"Haha, sorry, I'm the only qualified male doctor in this clinic right now!" Xiao Chong's smile was so bright, but it gave off an aura of pure evil! "

Why is my life so miserable!" the girl sighed silently, but her life was more important, so she had no choice but to say helplessly, "Then take a look at me!"

"Hehe, happy to serve you. Where do you feel unwell?" Xiao Chong still smiled maliciously. From the moment the girl entered the clinic, he had become like Maitreya Buddha, displaying all sorts of strange smiles.

"This..." The girl looked around. The injured migrant workers were looking at her with pity, and the two nuns were also scrutinizing her with complicated expressions. She was in a difficult situation and didn't know how to start the conversation.

"Hehe, women always have their inconvenient moments, come with me!" Xiao Chong once again played the role of a rogue, letting out an extremely lewd laugh before leading the way into the examination room! This time, Xiao Chong didn't call Erni, and Erni surprisingly cooperated by not going in. It seems Erni has gotten to know Xiao Chong a little! The

examination room was simply furnished: an ordinary examination bed, a gynecological operating table, a table, and two chairs. These things were all bought by Xiao Chong at Xiao Pang's behest! Otherwise, there would only be a rickety wooden bed.

"Tell me, where does it hurt?" Xiao Chong asked, sitting down. This time, he finally didn't laugh; his stomach was already aching from laughing, and he was about to cramp up. To avoid the discomfort, he endured it!

"I... I was bitten by a snake!" The girl said, her face flushed, as if recounting something shameful! Being bitten by a snake isn't shameful; the key is the location of the bite.

It turns out that the stunningly beautiful girl was unfortunately right, just as Xiao Chong had predicted. She was already in a bit of a hurry when she came from Yangcun Town, and by the time she reached the ferry, she was in a real rush. Unfortunately, the boat was moving slowly, and by the time she crossed the river, she was frantic! In the countryside, communal toilets (sewage pits) are everywhere, very rudimentary ones. You dig a pit, build a few mud walls, cover it with some oiled paper, and put a few wooden planks on the edge of the pit, leaving a rectangular hole in the middle. That's how the toilet is made. The environment inside… (I won't describe it all here; if you have time, go to the countryside and experience it for yourself!).

The desperate girl just randomly picked one and rushed in. These kinds of toilets are everywhere in the countryside, but snakes, insects, and rodents are also everywhere! Unfortunately, the girl, attracted by the pleasant atmosphere and environment, chose a toilet surrounded by green trees, weeds, and duckweed, unaware that snakes and insects thrive in such places.

The girl was urinating smoothly when she suddenly felt a cool, slippery sensation on her thigh. Looking down, she was so frightened she almost fainted in the toilet. A snake as thick as a thumb was coiled around her thigh. It was brightly colored, and she couldn't tell what kind of snake it was. Its small, long red tongue flicked in and out, which was quite terrifying. The girl felt nauseous and scared, and was so frightened that she was dizzy but dared not move because the snake was still coiled around her thigh and was slowly moving upwards!

Although the girl grew up in the countryside and had seen many snakes and insects like this, she was as timid as a mouse. She wouldn't dare to kill them; even looking at them would make her tremble with fear and run away. This time, however, she had to muster her courage and try to push it away because the snake was about to invade her precious and mysterious part (this snake must be male, she guessed!). Inexperienced, she didn't know the principle of striking a snake at its vital spot, so she just pulled hard on its tail. As a result, as you can imagine, the snake left a fang mark on the girl's inner thigh before floating away.

"Good snake! Why bite here of all places! I'll have to treat it to drinks, dinner, sauna, massage, and a full-on 'one-stop shop' next time!" Xiao Chong thought to himself, praising the snake after hearing the girl's account. Then, a worry crept in. If it were a venomous snake, this girl would likely be in serious trouble. Although Xiao Pang had prepared all the necessary medicines, he was missing antivenom. So he asked, "How do you feel now? Is your leg numb? Is your heart racing?"

"No, it just hurts a lot!" the girl said.

"Then lie down, let me check you!" Xiao Chong said seriously. Judging from the time since the bite, she hadn't shown these symptoms yet, so it was probably not a venomous snake. But he still wanted to check, just in case. Even if it wasn't venomous, cleaning and disinfecting the wound to prevent infection was necessary! Even if it wouldn't get infected, it was necessary to embarrass this arrogant woman.

"Can I have the intern nun do it?" The girl's tone softened for the first time.

"I'm afraid that won't work. They haven't been with me for long, their experience is very limited, and they can't even distinguish between venomous and non-venomous snake bites! You'd better stop dawdling and hurry up and take off your pants, or you'll be finished if the venom attacks your heart!" Xiao Chong was clearly exaggerating. So much time had passed; if the

venom had attacked her heart, she would already be dead. The girl, frightened by Xiao Chong's words, became even more panicked. She quickly lay down on the examination bed, and just as she was about to lift her skirt and spread her legs, she couldn't help but feel ashamed. How could she bring herself to

do it to a doctor who looked like a lecherous scoundrel? "What are you dawdling for? Do you want to wait to die?" Xiao Chong cursed, and seeing her still hesitating, he didn't hold back. He spread her legs, lifted her skirt to her waist, revealing a narrow silk panty. Goodness, she was even wearing a thong! Looking at her serious demeanor, it was unbelievable that she was wearing such sexy underwear.

Beneath her small, semi-transparent panties lay a dark, triangular patch of pubic hair, alluringly visible. Her long, slender, snow-white legs were completely exposed, and the fine goosebumps on her skin betrayed her inner turmoil.

The girl was suddenly attacked by the lewd doctor; she was furious, yet helpless—it was necessary for the examination—and could only swallow her anger and resentment.

Xiao Chong examined the area closely, looking every angle, but couldn't find the snake bite mark. He couldn't help but ask, "Where did it bite you?"

The girl, unable to bear the humiliating gaze of the rogue doctor, had tears welling in her eyes, but her strong personality wouldn't let them fall. Hearing the question, she bit her lip hard and said, "Below, below my right leg!"

"Then turn over? Is this position just for fun?" Xiao Chong wasn't unaware of the girl's aggrieved expression, but remembering how she had just embarrassed him in front of everyone, his softened heart hardened again.

Hearing this, the girl quickly turned over. Back was better than front; she couldn't see, so she wouldn't be bothered or annoyed. Out of sight, out of mind. A typical ostrich hiding position.

But this rogue doctor wouldn't let her have it easy. His next muttered sentence almost made her faint with anger.

"Before, you pulled down my underwear to look at my butt; now you pull down my butt to look at my underwear!"

The girl's underwear was thong-shaped, with only a thin strap in the back, completely hidden in the crease, while the fabric was all in the front.

"What are you looking at? Don't you have any professional ethics as a doctor?!" the girl said angrily.

Xiao Chong, however, replied calmly, "Of course I do. If I didn't have professional ethics, would I have treated you after you offended me like that?" He had already seen the bite mark; it was a little red and swollen, but otherwise harmless, so he felt relieved enough to tease the woman who had embarrassed him.

"You stingy little thing!" the girl muttered.

"Alright! I'll go ask Old Man Chen, the widowed man from the village, to treat your wound. I heard he has a family secret recipe, and it's the best for treating snake bites!" Xiao Chong said, about to leave, then muttered to himself, "I heard he drools whenever he sees a woman. Sometimes it's just a light touch, sometimes it's more... I wonder if he's cured yet!"

The young woman panicked

upon hearing this. Letting someone like that treat her snake bite would be disastrous! She quickly cried out,

"No, no, you treat me!"

"But my professional ethics are poor, and my medical skills are lacking. His family secret recipe is incredibly effective!"

"No, no more, just treat me!"

"But I'm so stingy!"

"No, you're not stingy!"

"But my eyes always wander to places they shouldn't!"

"You pervert, what do you want?" the girl pleaded bitterly.

"Hehe!" Xiao Chong finally vented his anger, picked up an alcohol swab and started wiping her wound. Then he squeezed the wound with his hands in a cross shape, while also rubbing it a couple of times. But no matter how much he squeezed, the wound wouldn't bleed. Frustrated, Xiao Chong opened his mouth and kissed that spot, sucking with all his might...

"What are you doing?" the girl asked, both ashamed and angry.

Xiao Chong spat out a mouthful of blood and said, "The wound is starting to shrink. If the poison isn't sucked out, it will leave a scar!" After saying that, his thick lips kissed the girl's thigh.

The girl closed her eyes, feeling both ashamed and helpless. She felt a wet, slippery lip sucking at her thigh, a nauseating sensation, like being sucked by a giant leech! A strange, tingling, numb feeling lingered, both uncomfortable and pleasurable—a complex mix of emotions.

The cleaning, disinfection, and bandaging took nearly an hour, the slowest time Xiao Chong had ever experienced with this type of minor surgery.

As the girl got up, pulled down her skirt, and stood up, she said with a hint of resentment, "You're such a pervert!"

A few days later, Sun Shanshan arrived with five assistants and a whole container of equipment. It seemed the girl had really gone to great lengths to fulfill her man's wish.

The equipment was pushed into an old house that Xiao Chong had recently purchased and renovated according to Sun Shanshan's specifications. Just as they were being tested, Lin Meimei arrived.

The two women met, their eyes locked in a tense exchange. Xiao Chong had a bad feeling! Both women were as fierce as tigresses. As the saying goes, two tigers cannot share one mountain, unless one is male and the other female. When two tigers fight, one will surely be injured, and the other might even be pregnant!

Seeing a fierce battle about to erupt, Xiao Chong frantically slapped his forehead, realizing he had forgotten about this!

Sun Shanshan struck first, asking hostilely, "Who are you?"

Lin Meimei wasn't to be outdone, her face darkening, "And who are you?"

"Who I am is none of your business! Go cool off somewhere else, what are you doing here causing trouble!" Sun Shanshan's meaning was clear: Xiao Chong is mine, and you, the third wheel, get lost!

"This is my territory. Guanyin Village has nearly a thousand people. Who dares to disobey me! Even if you haven't heard Jay Chou's songs, you should have heard of the songs hosted by Lao Bi on CCTV. In my territory, you have to listen to me!" Lin Meimei's meaning was even clearer: On my turf, you'd better behave yourself, or you'll be in trouble!

"Yuehe, since I was born, no one has ever dared to speak so arrogantly to me! Being a female bandit is nothing special! Believe me, I can raze your Guanyin Village to the ground with a single stomp of my foot!" "

Grandma? Pshaw! At your age, I'd think you're too young to be my great-grandson! You think you're so great just because you're rich? Let me tell you, if you dare touch a single blade of grass in my Guanyin Village, I'll make you regret it!" Lin Meimei said, striking the stone mill in the courtyard with her palm. The iron-hard millstone shattered into pieces, leaving Sun Shanshan terrified.

In their first exchange, Sun Shanshan was clearly at a disadvantage.

Xiao Chong, slightly weakened, quickly stepped in to smooth things over: "Can't you two each say less and get along properly?"

"Shut up!" both women yelled at Xiao Chong simultaneously.

Both women were now in a frenzy—tigresses, Xiao Chong couldn't afford to offend them, nor could he hide from them, because someone had said that even if he hid to the ends of the earth, they would hunt him down to the very end.

In their next exchange, Lin Daiyu launched a counterattack: "Why are you yelling at him? He's mine!"

"You're not Huang Rong, you're just a locust! Why are you attacking your brother? You're shameless

!" "..." Lin Daiyu was speechless with anger!

"What? Have you become mute? You can't even answer a simple trivia question! Why didn't your father shoot you against the wall back then!" Sun Shanshan pressed her advantage.

"..." Lin Daiyu trembled with rage!

"You think your martial arts are so great, so powerful, so awesome? You're just a cow that ran into a high-voltage line, awesome with lightning, what's so great about that!" "

..." Lin Daiyu was furious this time, and her lower body was wet!

In their second confrontation, Lin Daiyu's defense failed!

In terms of eloquence, Sun Shanshan naturally had the upper hand; she had trained, and all her aunts and great-aunts were her defeated opponents. In terms of physical strength, Lin Daiyu was in the clear, she too had trained for over a hundred years! These two women were evenly matched, each with their own strengths! Money can't buy everything, but it can buy Lin Daiyu; violence can't solve everything, but it can solve Sun Shanshan's problems. The result, as you can imagine, was a lose-lose situation! Lin Daiyu abandoned the half-finished Guanyin Pavilion and disappeared; Sun Shanshan abandoned her grand plan to fulfill Xiao Chong's wish and returned to England.

Faced with all this, Xiao Chong remained silent. He returned to the Guanyin Clinic, wanting to ask Erni to pour him a cup of tea, but Erni ignored him and didn't move. They were all angry that the woman Xiao Chong brought had driven away their revered grandmaster who had finally returned!

"You all ignore me, I'm completely ignored!" Xiao Chong sighed.

Er Ni found this amusing and couldn't help but smile, failing to detect the sarcasm in his words.

"Damn it, what's so great about that? I can live without you guys. Don't think the world stops turning just because someone is gone. I'll still rebuild Guanyin Pavilion and make the medicine!" Xiao Chong said fiercely.

Faced with such heroic ambition, Er Ni no longer remained silent and shouted in unison, "We support you!" They also had a share in Guanyin Pavilion; once it was built, there would definitely be two spacious rooms for them. How could they not support them?

"Then how will you support me?" Xiao Chong asked lecherously, staring at Er Ni's bulging chest.

Erni, startled, quickly covered her chest and said in a panic, "Of course it's mental!"

"Tch! I thought it was physical!"

"..."

The following days were both tough and fulfilling for Xiao Chong. He had to make medicine, repair the Guanyin Pavilion, build a bridge with Xiao Pang, treat the villagers of Guanyin Village and the surrounding eight townships, practice his mind-controlling technique, and woo girls. He was truly a busy man! He could do six things at once, which was far better than the legendary Zhou Botong who could fight with both hands simultaneously.

First and foremost, the most important thing for Xiao Chong was to develop anti-cancer drugs, which could make him rich.

Sun Shanshan left, and the assistants she brought with her also left, leaving behind only a pile of instruments that had been debugged and were usable, but Xiao Chong didn't know how to use.

Although Xiao Chong had a master's degree, he was only a dabbler in pharmacy, the kind who could shake a lot but not get anything out. But he believed that nothing was impossible, as long as there were newcomers. Although this newcomer's education was not high, only at the level of a vocational school for nursing, his major was relevant—pharmacy—and that was enough.

Xiao Chong decided to go find her. This was the fourth time he'd tried. Asking this person was harder than Liu Bei asking Zhuge Liang; Zhuge Liang only needed three visits to his thatched cottage, but this was his fourth.

The woman was hanging clothes to dry in front of her ancestral home, but Xiao Chong didn't see the familiar thong anymore. Instead, he saw a conservative pair of pure cotton stretchy panties. Yes, this was the girl who had been bitten by a snake and had been roughly handled by Xiao Chong. Her name was Tian Yueqing—an interesting surname and a poetic name. Unfortunately, the waxing and waning of the moon is predetermined and beyond human control.

Tian Yueqing graduated from a pharmacy program at a vocational health school and now worked in a pharmacy in Yangcun Town, earning a monthly salary of one thousand yuan. Of course, she received a commission for each bottle of aphrodisiacs

or kidney tonics she sold, bringing her monthly income to around two thousand yuan. Two thousand yuan was nothing to Xiao Chong, but in Guanyin Village, it was a high income. Tian Yueqing seemed to be in a good mood today, humming a tune while hanging clothes, but her face darkened as soon as she saw Xiao Chong.

"You scoundrel, what are you doing here? Didn't I say I didn't want to work with someone like you?"

"Sister Yueqing, I don't want to be a scoundrel either, but society is too realistic. Life, environment, and circumstances have robbed me of the chance to be a good person!" Xiao Chong said seriously.

Tian Yueqing originally wanted to keep a straight face, but his words were too funny, and she couldn't help but smile.

"You smiled! Sister Yueqing's smile is so beautiful. Such a smile should only exist in heaven. How often can one hear it in the world!"

Tian Yueqing smiled and then suddenly put on a straight face again, saying, "Heaven? Are you cursing me to die?"

"No, no, I mean your smile is even cuter than an angel's!"

"Stop with your smooth talk, I don't like it!"

"Then let's talk about cooperation, okay?"

"What's there to talk about? My job is very stable now, and my income can support my family. I have no plans to change jobs for the time being. Great Doctor Ouyang, you should find someone else!"

If I can find someone else, why would I come here to be treated coldly and have to put up with your attitude? Am I sick or a masochist? Xiao Chong cursed under his breath, "Yueqing sister..."

"Stop! Who's your sister? Don't try to claim kinship! I don't have a rogue brother like you!"

"Then how about the Gao family's daughter, the eldest daughter of the Gao family? Please, for the sake of me providing free medical care to the villagers of Guanyin Village and the surrounding areas, will you agree? Besides, didn't I treat you? You don't even have a scar on your snow-white thighs..."

"You still dare to say that!" Tian Yueqing said angrily. Every time she thought of that shameful scene, she blushed and felt extremely sad.

"Okay, okay, I won't say it, I won't say it!"

"Don't waste your breath here, I won't agree to it!" Tian Yueqing said resolutely.

Seeing her like this, Xiao Chong had no choice but to use his last resort. This was the only trick he hadn't used before. "Monthly salary of three thousand, room and board provided, five hundred mid-month full attendance bonus, two thousand quarterly bonus, year-end bonus, three-year contract, five-year contract, valid upon signing!" Xiao Chong said, handing over a contract.

Tian Yueqing stared blankly at Xiao Chong.

"Sigh!" Seeing her expression, Xiao Chong thought it was completely hopeless this time. He quickly took back the contract; having it torn up and thrown around would be too humiliating. He'd better get out of there!

"Come back!" He hadn't taken two steps when he heard a sound behind him.

"What?" Xiao Chong didn't dare turn around, afraid of being met with a shower of laundry water.

"Give me the contract and pen! If you dare shortchange me even a penny of my salary or bonus, I'll report you to the labor bureau until you're stripped naked!" Tian Yueqing had come to terms with it. Working for someone else was the same. Three thousand yuan in salary plus a five hundred yuan bonus was equivalent to two months of work at the pharmacy. This guy might look like a scoundrel, but he was still a young, handsome, and wealthy one. It was much better than that old scoundrel who would buy aphrodisiacs, kidney tonics, waist-strengthening creams, and condoms at the pharmacy and then grope her.

Xiao Chong excitedly handed over the contract and pen, secretly regretting not having made this move sooner, wasting so much of his words and energy. He also sighed, realizing that there's no wall too high to breach, only a bad hoe to wield—money! With money, you can even hire ghosts to do the millstone, let alone people!

"When can I start work?" Xiao Chong asked.

"Whenever you calculate my salary, I'll start work!" Truly a practical person, even his words were so practical.

"Then let's start from this moment, come with me on a business trip!" Xiao Chong said.

"Mom, Mom, I'm going to work, take the bucket back later!" Tian Yueqing called into the house, and without waiting for an answer, left with Xiao Chong!

Chapter Thirteen of the Great Completion: A Match Made in Heaven

.

The night was cold and desolate. The moon had vanished with her lover, and the stars had slacked off their duties. Only the unrestrained wind continued its raucous howling.

In a cave on the mountain path from Guanyin Village to Tang Village, a man and a woman were camping out.

The night wind was too chilly. The woman hugged her arms, huddled in a corner, exhausted and sleepy, but still trying to stay awake. Whether out of fear of snakes, insects, rats, or wolves (perverts), her eyes remained warily fixed on the man two meters away. "Sigh, what kind of business trip is this? Working with a heartless boss like you, my life is truly miserable!"

"What does a business trip have to do with my miserable life? What kind of logic is that!" The man spoke whatever came to mind, pausing before adding, "It seems I haven't treated you badly. You've only been officially working for three days, and I've already advanced you three months' salary. Is that what you call a miserable life?"

“Other people travel by car, stay in hotels, and eat at restaurants when they go on business trips, but what about me? I’m on a rickshaw, eating biscuits, drinking tap water, and sleeping in a cave. Isn’t that miserable?”

“Well… it’s not that I’m deliberately mistreating you. It’s just that the objective conditions in this remote mountain village don’t allow it. If I had the means, would I treat you like this? Besides, as your boss, aren’t I feeling the same way you are? You should be grateful to have such a kind boss like me!”

"You, save your breath! Everyone knows you're like a weasel offering New Year's greetings to a chicken—you're up to no good. I saw through your scheme a long time ago. Sigh, but what can I do? My family is poor, and I'm greedy enough to earn more money to support my family!"

"Miss, your current income is already high in the countryside. Your three months' salary is equivalent to someone else's year's farming. What more do you want?"

"Miss? If I were really a prostitute, would I only get this pittance?" The woman was clearly unhappy with the man's address and used it as an excuse.

Yes, with your figure and looks, you could certainly earn more money, but are you willing? Let me see your thighs—they're so tight they're practically screaming! The man thought to himself, but said aloud, "Anyway, I didn't mistreat you! I have a clear conscience!"

"You didn't mistreat me? How dare you say that! Following you, I'm even more pitiful than the poor peasants oppressed by landlords!"

"Is it really that bad? It's not like I didn't feed you, didn't give you water, didn't make you carry anything, and the work wasn't strenuous. How can you have such a big grudge?"

"Yes, I admit, the work wasn't strenuous, but look at the kind of work you gave me—catching toads! Me, a grown woman, catching slippery, disgusting black toads! I could accept catching them, but you actually wanted me to cruelly kill them!"

"That's dissection, okay? It's for research, okay!"

"Fine, you say dissection is dissection, but is this how you dissect? You want me to draw their blood, peel their skin, cut their flesh, tear their tendons, and even remove their bones! Is that dissection? That's dismemberment!"

"You're not unfamiliar with medicine; this is a necessary part of dissection. Dismemberment? Do you think you're some kind of butcher in the rain?"

"Hmph, you make it sound so nice. Does anatomy require cutting open the stomach, finding the contents, and carefully identifying what that mushy stuff is?"

"Of course it does. That's advanced anatomy. Your qualifications aren't high enough; you're not qualified to do it!"

"Okay, I admit my qualifications are low, but why do you insist I find everything the toad ate?"

"It's for research!"

"Research? Is it necessary to study slimy, sticky earthworms and those colorful, disgusting caterpillars?"

"What can I do if they like to eat these things? You don't expect them to eat rice like humans, do you?"

"You make it sound so easy, but have you ever considered my perspective? Have you considered my feelings?"

"Your feelings? What feelings do you have!"

"How do I feel? You have the nerve to ask? You spend all day and night dealing with earthworms that look like snakes, you spend all your time studying those caterpillars! Do you know how hard that was for me? How much courage did it take for me to even look at those terrifying caterpillars? And you want me to turn them over, look at their color and fur, count their segments, and even more ridiculously, pick a whole bunch of leaves and watch those caterpillars swim around... Ugh... Ugh..." The woman began to dry heave uncontrollably.

"What's wrong? Are you pregnant?" The man's face seemed to hold a smug smile, but it vanished in an instant.

"You're the one who's pregnant! I just feel nauseous just thinking about those caterpillars!"

"Are they really that scary?" the man said, barely suppressing a laugh.

"Not that scary? Yeah, how can this be considered scary? Someone like you, forcing people to talk about what kind of juice those chopped caterpillars are oozing, which color is green, which is yellowish-purple... Ugh..."

"Are you alright? Are you really sick? Let me take your pulse!" The man said, and started to walk towards her.

"You, you stay away! I'm fine, I'm okay, nothing's wrong! Please keep two meters away from me. I don't need your crocodile tears. Just behave yourself and let me get through this night unharmed, and I'll be grateful!"

"Tch, you're ungrateful for my kindness."

"Kindness? You have kindness? If your expired and corrupted heart can be called kind, then everyone in the world is heartless! You're a scoundrel. I knew you were a complete scoundrel the moment I saw you!"

"Go ahead and relieve yourself, I've a clear conscience! What I asked you to do is necessary preparation for drug development! Maybe this work isn't suitable for a girl, but if I had the time, would it be your turn?"

"You're the one who relieves yourself in public!" the girl retorted irritably.

"..."

The girl cursed for most of the night, getting angrier the more she cursed, until Xiao Chong's lukewarm yet deadly retort finally made her shut her mouth. But as soon as she stopped, sleepiness kicked in. Exhausted, she struggled a few times before involuntarily closing her eyes and reluctantly drifting off to sleep.

The man, watching her still vigilantly frowning and clenching her fists even in her sleep, chuckled and silently gave a sigh of admiration. At the same time, he began to reflect on himself: Was I really that bad? No way! I didn't use violence against her, nor did I curse at her, not a single swear word. I even paid her three months' salary; she only suffered a little emotional distress. She didn't lose a single hair, let alone any physical harm. Why was she so agitated? I've been so good to her, and she still called me a pervert—where is justice…?

The man pondered but couldn't reach a conclusion. When he saw the girl's pale yet charming face (she hadn't eaten for two days and was starving), and recalled the yellow, green, and black caterpillar, cut up and slicing, he finally came to a conclusion: he had indeed gone a tiny bit too far.

The night was cool, and the wind was a bit chilly. Being out in the wind and dew could easily cause a cold, and her constitution was frail. Finally, to atone for his actions, the man, for the first time, had a change of heart and took off his only shirt, draping it over her back before retreating to a designated distance…

You probably already know who this man and woman are, right? One is Xiao Chong, who was treated like a hooligan, and the other is Tian Yueqing, who recently switched jobs and is now mentally abused.

Xiao Chong needed to go to Tang Village for a field investigation, but couldn't get away for the time being. He had to call Guangcheng, wait for Guo Shuihan, a doctor specializing in both traditional Chinese and Western medicine, and hand over the sanatorium to him. He also waited for Xiao Pang, discussed the bridge repair plan with him, and arranged the renovation of Guanyin Pavilion and other tedious matters before finally setting off for Tang Village with Tian Yueqing.

Before setting off, the two had asked someone to find out the general route from Guanyin Village to Tang Village, but theoretical talk is always useless. After entering the mountains, they lost their way in the complicated mountain roads after only two hours and had to spend the night in this cave.

As dawn broke, Tian Yueqing was awakened by a series of sneezes. Opening her eyes, she saw herself huddled under a shirt, which reeked of sweat, soap, and a strong, yet not unpleasant, masculine scent. The owner of this rustic shirt was shirtless, curled up at a distance she had specified, sneezing incessantly.

Logically, such a chivalrous act of rescuing a damsel in distress should have moved the beauty slightly, or perhaps even made her fall for the rogue doctor! But the reality was often unexpected. Tian Yueqing grabbed the shirt, flung it in front of Xiao Chong, and immediately launched into a tirade: "You think this kind of pretentious, cowardly behavior will move me or make me like you? It's utterly absurd! Do I need your pity? Do I need your hypocrisy? If you were really that kind, you wouldn't have brought me to this desolate wilderness!"

"..." Xiao Chong was a little dizzy, his mind still reeling from sleep, looking at her innocently and speechlessly. This is truly a case of biting the hand that feeds you, not recognizing a kind heart; good intentions are being taken for granted!

Suddenly, Tian Yueqing reached out and patted his head, then quickly withdrew her hand, still relentlessly scolding, "Are you trying to make yourself sick, move me, capture my heart, and then dump all the work on me so you'll feel better!" While cursing, she thought to herself, "Thank goodness I don't have a fever, or I'd be in trouble.

" "Hey girl, shut up! I'm dizzy!" Xiao Chong stood up unsteadily, feeling a bit dazed. Unfortunately, her jinx had come true; he was sick!

"Don't worry, you won't die! If you dare to die, I'll bury you!" Tian Yueqing said, leading the way out.

"Heartless little wench!" Xiao Chong muttered under his breath, shaking his head vigorously to shake off the dizziness, but to no avail. He could only helplessly follow Tian Yueqing outside.

By this time, it was already broad daylight. The two reached a fork in the road and encountered some villagers heading up the mountain to gather firewood. After asking for directions to Tang Village, Tian Yueqing quickly took out paper and pen and had them draw a simple route map. Only then did they bid farewell to the villagers and head towards Tang Village.

Along the way, they silently made their way using their two-legged cart, speaking very little, the atmosphere heavy with silence.

Tian Yueqing was unwilling to talk to Xiao Chong out of spite, while Xiao Chong's mouth was dry, his throat burning, and the dizziness intensified as they approached Tang Village. He knew he had caught a cold from the night's chill, and judging from his current symptoms, it was likely an upper respiratory infection. Now, his only prayer was that he wouldn't develop a fever; as long as he didn't, sweating it out should be fine.

The mountain path was difficult, winding, bumpy, and full of stumbles and stops. Before long, Xiao Chong indeed broke out in a sweat, but his joy was short-lived. A mountain gust of wind blew, and he shivered with cold. At that moment, he knew things were going to get bad!

When the two finally reached Tang Village, they felt as if they had been gang-raped multiple times by a group of thugs or old women; their bodies were lightheaded, yet their legs were heavy and difficult to walk.

Two well-dressed, handsome young man and beautiful young woman appearing in this rarely visited mountain village naturally attracted the attention of the villagers. As they entered the village, people stared at them with curiosity, as if they were looking at gorillas that had escaped from a zoo. (

Chapter 14 of the Great Completion Chapter 2008: The First Time) Having

caught a cold and sweated while being exposed to a cold wind, Xiao Chong was now seeing stars and his mind was foggy. He walked up to a villager squatting by his door, smoking a pipe, and forced himself to pull out a cigarette he had prepared beforehand, offering him one and asking, "Brother, can I ask you about someone?"

"Sure, who do you want to ask about?" The villager glanced at the cigarette box—a Furongwang brand. Being knowledgeable, he didn't mistake it for a two-yuan pack of Furongwang and quickly threw away his pipe, lighting it himself.

"Laifu, Laifu, do you know him?"

The villager took a deep drag of his cigarette, then exhaled a thin puff of smoke with great enjoyment. "Ah, that's good tobacco!" he exclaimed enthusiastically. "Of course I know him! He's my cousin. If you're looking for him, come on, I'll take you!" It wasn't far anyway; leading him around might earn him another good cigarette as a reward! He was also puzzled; Laifu was usually so quiet, how had he gotten to know such a wealthy person?

Laifu's cousin led Xiao Chong and his cousin past several old houses, arriving at the courtyard of a dilapidated old house. He immediately called out, "Laifu, Laifu, we have guests!"

Inside the fence, Laifu was shirtless, sweating profusely as he chopped firewood. Hearing the call, he quickly came out to greet them. Seeing Xiao Chong, his face lit up with immense joy. He rushed forward, grasped Xiao Chong's hand, and smiled warmly, saying, "Brother, you've come!"

Xiao Chong, seeing him, was as excited as if he had found his tribe. Not only did she hold his hand tightly, but she also embraced him warmly.

Seeing the two grown men embracing for so long without separating, Tian Yueqing quickly looked away, thinking to herself, "This is unbearable to watch, this pair of glass!"

Laifu was also very happy, because Xiao Chong had kept his promise and really came to Tang Village, but he was even happier by Xiao Chong's excitement upon seeing him. After embracing for a while, he couldn't help but wonder, why didn't they let go? City people just love to act strangely; isn't hugging and embracing something only men and women do? Why do grown men have to perform this kind of etiquette? But after a while, he felt something was wrong, because Xiao Chong's body was very hot, and although his movements looked like he was hugging him, he was actually leaning on his shoulder for support.

He broke free from Xiao Chong and was about to check what was wrong when he saw Xiao Chong floating lightly to the ground like a leaf. He quickly grabbed him and anxiously asked, "Brother, brother, what's wrong?"

Tian Yueqing stepped forward and saw that Xiao Chong's cheeks were flushed. She reached out to touch his forehead, and what she felt shocked her—it was so hot!

"Quick, help him inside. He has a fever!" Tian Yueqing exclaimed anxiously, inwardly grumbling, "Serves you right for being so stubborn! You're weak, yet you still insist on being strong. Now that you're sick, I'm the one who has to take care of you!"

Lai Fu and Tian Yueqing helped Xiao Chong into the house and onto a bed. Lai Fu's entire family gathered around, curious.

Although Tian Yueqing graduated from a nursing school with a degree in pharmacy, she could still handle minor illnesses like colds and fevers. She had to, though; with him sick, she had to do all the work herself.

"Brother Fu, do you have any duck tongue grass, honeysuckle, bupleurum, or houttuynia cordata?" Tian Yueqing asked after examining Xiao Chong and confirming he only had an upper respiratory infection.

"I have some bupleurum and houttuynia cordata that I've dried myself; I'm going to sell them at the market. There's duck tongue grass and honeysuckle on the back hill; I'll go pick them for you right now," Lai Fu replied.

"Don't rush, let me finish. Besides these four things, I also need bamboo leaves, cabbage roots, bellflowers, and chrysanthemums. Do you have all of these?"

"Yes, yes, I have them all. Wait here, I'll go get them right away! Wife, please take good care of Xiao Chong for this young lady. He's a benefactor to our family!" After instructing his wife, Lai Fu ran off to the back mountain.

After Lai Fu left, Tian Yueqing touched Xiao Chong's forehead again; it was alarmingly hot. This fever couldn't go on; they had to find a way. But they didn't have any fever reducers, aminophylline, or herbal remedies in this corner of the mountain. What could they use to bring down the fever? Tian Yueqing thought for a moment and said to Lai Fu's wife, "Sister-in-law, do you have any white wine?"

"Yes. Do you want some wine? I'll go get it." As the saying goes, where there's a father-in-law, there's a mother-in-law. The honest and simple Lai Fu had married an equally gentle and kind wife.

Tian Yueqing wanted to laugh but couldn't think of anything. She could only look at Xiao Chong lying on the bed, seemingly breathing steam.

A moment later, Laifu's wife brought over a bottle of loose white liquor, Laifu's favorite drink.

"Sister-in-law, help me take off all his clothes!" Tian Yueqing said.

Taking off a strange man's clothes, especially completely, made Laifu's wife's face flush bright red, like a monkey's bottom. She said, embarrassed and flustered, "Girl, I, I can't dare! You do it! I... I'll hold the door for you!"

Without waiting for Tian Yueqing's reaction, Laifu's wife ran out, closing the door behind her, standing guard outside like a guardian deity.

Tian Yueqing was helpless. But saving lives was paramount, so she couldn't worry about anything else. Gritting her teeth, she began to undress Xiao Chong. It took a lot of effort to strip him down to only his briefs. Looking at his muscular physique, the bulge in his underwear, and a few restless tendrils sticking out, the young woman's pink face flushed, and her heart began to pound faster.

"I've already mastered this technique, why am I still being so infatuated!" Tian Yueqing cursed herself inwardly, steadied herself, and quickly grabbed a bottle of baijiu and vigorously massaged his entire body with all her might. Without vigorous massage, his skin wouldn't turn red, and the faint alcohol wouldn't be absorbed, failing to achieve a cooling effect.

This time, the little girl finally found her chance for revenge, almost frantically rubbing his clitoris. While it felt quite good, it also left her drenched in sweat.

Just as he finished shoving the upper body, Laifu knocked on the door and came in carrying a bunch of flowers and herbs. Seeing the red and purple marks on Xiaochong's body, he couldn't help but be alarmed. This little girl was really ruthless! But he knew this was for treatment, not some kind of sexual abuse, so he pretended to be calm and asked, "Miss, I've brought all the herbs you wanted. What do you want to do with them?"

Tian Yueqing stopped what she was doing and picked out a suitable amount of honeysuckle, bupleurum, houttuynia cordata, and chrysanthemum from Laifu's hands. She said, "Brother Laifu, take this and boil it into a decoction. Boil three bowls of water down to one bowl. Put all the other herbs in and boil them in two big buckets. Call me when it boils!"

"Okay! I'll go right away!" As Laifu carried the herbs out, he didn't forget to give Xiaochong a pitying look. Brother, good luck to you!

After a short rest, Tian Yueqing continued her unfinished work, taking the baijiu (Chinese liquor) and rubbing his thighs again. As the young woman's hands massaged his firm thighs, covered in coarse, dark hair, she accidentally touched that soft spot, and her thoughts momentarily drifted away. This man was covered in scars, yet his skin was surprisingly fair, especially the two small nipples on his chest, which, unlike the purplish-black of other men's nipples, were pink like a woman's, and a young girl's. And that soft spot, looking like a lump of noodles hiding under his underwear, she knew that this seemingly easy target was not to be trifled with, or it might suddenly spring up and bite her.

Time passed slowly. The young woman enjoyed the pleasure of rubbing him in revenge while simultaneously feeling the hardship of physical labor, repeatedly rubbing the baijiu onto his body. After about an hour, Xiao Chong's high fever finally subsided. Meanwhile, Lai Fu had already prepared two kinds of medicinal herbs.

Tian Yueqing had Laifu help Xiao Chong to the shower room and sit him beside two buckets of steaming medicinal water. She took a mat and surrounded him and the water, but Tian Yueqing was worried that the dazed Xiao Chong might lose his balance and fall into the water, causing burns. Besides, she herself had been collecting dew in the cave all night, and if she didn't steam herself to drive away the chill, her chances of developing rheumatism in her old age would increase. After much deliberation, she finally crawled onto the mat herself, even though she wasn't sick, and joined in the fumigation treatment!

But as soon as she entered, she was dumbfounded. The steam was so thick that her clothes would get soaked in just a few minutes, and she hadn't brought a change of clothes. How could she face anyone if she didn't take off her clothes? But taking off her clothes in front of a lecherous man would mean being completely exposed!

Thinking this, Tian Yueqing carefully examined Xiao Chong. He still had his eyes closed, leaning against the wall, seemingly still in a daze! As the medicinal mist grew larger and larger, she couldn't help but encourage herself: "What's there to be afraid of! He can't see me anyway! Even if, unfortunately, he does see me, it's not a big deal. It's not like it's the first time he's seen me. Besides, he looks so sickly and impotent right now, what can he do even if he sees me!"

Having made up her mind, she didn't hesitate any longer and quickly took off her clothes and hung them on the bamboo mat. Originally, she only planned to take off her clothes up to her bikini, but the medicinal mist was too thick, and her underwear would get wet. So, despite her embarrassment, she took them all off.

Xiao Chong didn't have a terminal illness, just a common cold. After the fever subsided, he became somewhat lucid. He knew about the folk remedy of being helped into the shower room for fumigation, but he felt lethargic all over. The steam from the medicine made him even more drowsy. Just as he was drifting off, he accidentally opened his eyes and saw a hazy, alluring sight in the mist. Thinking it was a dream, he steadied himself and realized he was still in reality. Driven by his lecherous nature, he quickly closed his eyes to observe more closely.

In the narrow space filled with mist, a shapely, curvaceous body appeared faintly before his eyes.

Beneath her delicate, spring-mountain-like eyebrows were a pair of deep, mysterious eyes; her nose was exquisitely sculpted and straight; her beautifully curved, soft lips made Xiao Chong want to bite them; her pointed, rounded chin and her long, silky hair, now damp and clinging to her face, added to her allure.

The vapor from the potion condensed on her smooth, beautiful body, mingling with the fine sweat from the heat, forming droplets that flowed slowly down her smooth neck, over her perfect, proud breasts, her slender waist, her flat stomach, and her round, pert... Her full hips, her shapely and long legs, and especially her mysterious area, now fully exposed, with water droplets adorning her like tiny, translucent pearls, making her appear exceptionally alluring and glossy…

Her fair and rosy skin, her erect breasts, her slender figure, and her long, jade-like legs, in the misty spray, made her seem like a bewitching enchantress…

Despite his illness, Xiao Chong was still aroused by the vivid and fragrant sight before him. Although his body was languid, countless uncontrollable impulses rushed to his head, converging into a powerful urge: to mate! To mate! To mate…

Disappointingly, Xiao Chong, in his illness, was willing but unable. Even driven by lust, he couldn't immediately recover and unleash his bestial instincts to take her right there and then! So, he could only watch helplessly as she undressed before him, and then watched her put on her clothes… There was no more painful thing in the world than this! Xiao Chong thought with deep sorrow!

The mat was removed, and the two buckets of medicine were moved aside. Tian Yueqing, now dressed and ready after being steamed in the medicinal mist, gave off a beautiful, ethereal aura. She called Lai Fu, and together they moved Xiao Chong to the bedroom. When Tian Yueqing saw that Xiao Chong, who had only worn underwear the entire time, now had a small mountain erection, her heart sank, as if a corner of it had been bitten off by a mouse. Her face flushed crimson, and she thought sadly, "Could he have seen it? No way! It must be… I'm doomed, I've been visually assaulted by this lecherous man again. Why is my life so miserable…"

Thinking this, Tian Yueqing couldn't help but pinch Xiao Chong's arm hard!

As a seasoned actor, Xiao Chong didn't dare show any pain on his face; only his lips twitched slightly, and he secretly clenched his teeth. This woman, she's truly ruthless!

Tian Yueqing and Laifu helped Xiao Chong back to bed and gave him a bowl of dark, thick soup made from bupleurum, houttuynia cordata, honeysuckle, and chrysanthemum. This soup was said to have the effects of clearing heat and detoxifying, dispelling wind and heat, and preventing infection, making it particularly effective for Xiao Chong's cold. However, it needed to be combined with fumigation and sweating under blankets to be effective. So, Tian Yueqing had Laifu bring two quilts and tightly bound Xiao Chong like a seed to induce sweating.

This kind of folk remedy wouldn't work in Western medicine; Western doctors don't cover patients with blankets when they have high fevers. Instead, ice packs should be placed in his armpits and groin to reduce his fever. But Chinese medicine is vast and profound, capable of anything; as long as the patient is cured, only a pedantic scientist would care whether it works or not.

Seeing that Xiao Chong was already lying under the covers, Lai Fu figured there was nothing more for him to do, so he went back to do farm work.

Much after Lai Fu left, Tian Yueqing remembered something and wanted to call him, but he was nowhere to be seen. So she had to force herself again, reaching under the covers and pulling down Xiao Chong's soaked underwear.

"You, what are you if not a complete hooligan? Even when you're sick, you're still so unruly!" Tian Yueqing scolded, but her voice had softened slightly. He's a patient, after all; you have to be lenient with him!

Xiao Chong seemed to be sleeping soundly, showing no reaction at all, but a voice in his heart was singing: "I can pretend not to hear, and I can secretly miss you... Oh my god, such a beautiful pair of breasts doesn't belong to me, it's such a pity."

With a touch of regret and a beautiful memory, he quickly drifted off to sleep.

His first illness in 2008 recovered faster than usual. This time, Xiao Chong was quite ill; if it weren't for Tian Yueqing's three-pronged approach, he probably wouldn't have been able to get out of bed for several days. Now, using her family's traditional remedy, Xiao Chong woke up at nightfall—not naturally, but awakened by the croaking of frogs filling the fields.

The quilt was slightly damp, and his body felt sticky. But this was the countryside, and water heaters were a rarity; taking a shower wasn't something to be taken lightly. Xiao Chong sat up and noticed a set of clothes neatly folded on the bedside table. He didn't know if it was Tian Yueqing or Lai Fu's wife who had been so thoughtful, but they had even prepared underwear! And it was brand new underwear with the tags still on, the kind that cost ten yuan for four pairs. But having clothes to cover himself was enough for him; his own clothes were long since filthy and unwearable.

Actually, Xiao Chong didn't know that the underwear… was prepared for him by Lai Fu.

Xiao Chong went out of the room and saw Lai Fu wearing tall rubber boots, a straw hat, a flashlight, and a snakeskin bag on his back… all fully equipped and about to leave. (

Chapter 15 of the Great Achievement Chapter is very fun .

Xiao Chong went out of the room and saw Lai Fu wearing tall rubber boots, a straw hat, a flashlight, and a snakeskin bag on his back… all fully equipped and about to leave.)

"Brother Afu, where are you going in the middle of the night?" Xiao Chong couldn't help but ask.

"To catch frogs!" Lai Fu replied. Just then, Tian Yueqing's sweet voice came from outside the door: "Brother Afu, are you done yet? Why are you dawdling like a woman! It takes you so long to put on makeup, my sister-in-law and I have been waiting for you for ages!"

"Okay, okay, I'm coming!" Lai Fu replied with a wry smile.

"I'm going too!" Seeing how lively they were, Xiao Chong couldn't resist joining in, although... he would only be teased by the frogs!

"No, brother, you're not fully recovered yet. Let's talk about it when you're better!"

Just as Xiao Chong was about to protest, Tian Yueqing's soul-summoning voice came from outside the door again: "Are you done yet? Are you done yet? Are you done yet?"

"Coming!" Under the invincible spell of beauty, Lai Fu immediately abandoned Xiao Chong and strode towards her.

Poor Xiao Chong could only watch helplessly as the group of them, shouting and yelling, walked towards the field full of toads. A bitter feeling welled up inside him. He never imagined that he, so handsome, dashing, and charming, who had captivated countless beautiful girls, would end up being abandoned.

Fortunately, people who are indifferent to love are still a minority in the world. Lai Fu's father, who had long forgotten about romance, comforted Xiao Chong.

"Doctor, you're awake! Are you hungry? The food is still warming in the pot! I'll bring it to you! The hot water is also ready, take a shower after you eat!" Lai Fu's father said.

Having an old man serve him tea and water when he was perfectly healthy was like asking to be struck by lightning! Xiao Chong quickly stopped him, saying, "Uncle, I can do it myself. Don't call me doctor anymore, just call me Xiao Chong!"

"Alright then! Xiao Chong, just treat this as your own home, even if it's a bit shabby," Lai Fu's father said with a kind smile.

"Okay!" Xiao Chong said, rushing into the kitchen. He frantically lifted the lids of pots and pans, searching for food. He was truly starving; he hadn't eaten a single grain of rice all day.

Two hours later, the group of vandals who had gone to capture protected animals returned triumphantly, carrying half a sack full of golden toads.

"How many did you catch?" Xiao Chong asked.

"Not many, about thirty!" Tian Yueqing said smugly.

"Did you catch them all?" Xiao Chong asked, seeing her expression. "

Wrong! I didn't catch any of them! Look at me, so pure and innocent, how could I be so cruel as to harm living beings!"

"If you couldn't catch them, you couldn't catch them, why make up excuses!" Xiao Chong saw through her true colors at a glance.

Sure enough, as soon as he finished speaking, a blush appeared on the little girl's face, but she still said defiantly, "If you're so capable, go and catch some for me tomorrow night. Don't even mention thirty, if you catch three, I'll be completely convinced!"

"Is it really true? Don't regret it!" Xiao Chong asked.

"This beauty's word is her bond!" Tian Yueqing said, wanting to pat her chest, but immediately realized that this was indecent, so she simply puffed out her proud chest.

"..."

After taking the medicine twice and resting for a night, Xiao Chong's spirits had improved considerably. At dawn, he saw Lai Fu slaughtering toads to prepare breakfast, and couldn't help but approach him.

"Brother Afu, have you thought about how to raise them?" Xiao Chong asked.

"I haven't thought of anything. I thought they would be easy to raise, but it turns out it's not like that at all. These things are much harder to take care of than chickens, ducks, fish, and geese!" Lai Fu said with a sigh as he skillfully gutted the toads.

"So you mean you're not going to raise them anymore?"

"Not really, it's just that I'm a bit at a loss right now! Keeping them in cages definitely won't work, and even if it did, I wouldn't be able to raise many! Breeding them in the wild is impossible too. Don't be fooled by the fact that there are toads everywhere now; once the Mid-Autumn Festival is over and the autumn winds blow, the toads will be out of season and they'll all disappear without a trace. You won't be able to see a single one!"

"Hmm, that's a problem. It seems I need to think of a solution for you!"

"Brother, I don't think this can be rushed. We need to think of a solution slowly!"

After hearing Lai Fu's words, Xiao Chong didn't say anything and walked away. Lai Fu wasn't in a hurry, but he was anxious. He only had half a year to stay here, but there were so many things to do in half a year: renovate the Guanyin Pavilion, train apprentices, repair the bridge, make medicine, and learn kung fu. Just thinking about learning kung fu made him feel sad. Ever since Lin Daiyu gave him the secret manual, he hadn't read a single word of it.

The matter of making the medicine was even more uncertain. He still couldn't figure out whether Sun Shanshan deliberately used this as an excuse to leave, or if she genuinely left because she couldn't accept her fight with Lin Meimei! Besides, Lin Meimei was quite peculiar; she abandoned such a large scene and just left. At 120 years old, she still had no temper, truly causing Xiao Chong a lot of worry!

All day, Xiao Chong was preoccupied, racking his brains but unable to find a good way to handle these matters! Even when Tian Yueqing repeatedly "invited" him to bicker, he couldn't muster any interest! In a daze, night fell again, and the sturdy toads of all sizes began their symphony once more.

After dinner, Laifu started getting dressed again to catch toads! Whether he raised them or not, catching toads during their breeding season had become a habit for him. Firstly, it was effective for his old man's illness, and secondly, the family was too poor to eat meat every day. Having toads on the table not only helped his old man but also provided some nutrition for the whole family—why not?

Yue Lang

, Xiao Chong, and Tian Yueqing naturally followed behind him as his assistants. Actually, Lai Fu didn't need them at all; he could handle it all by himself. Their presence was actually a hindrance, because their shouting would silence the clever toads before they even got close, causing them to silently burrow into the muddy water.

"Shh, don't make a sound! Walk quietly, or all the toads will run away!" Lai Fu warned experiencedly.

Xiao Chong and Tian Yueqing exchanged a glance, quickly nodded to Lai Fu, and then tiptoed behind him like thieves.

Lai Fu shone his flashlight around, then suddenly it went dark. He tiptoed forward, quickening his pace, and when he reached his target, the flashlight blazed back on. With a swift movement, he caught a toad in his palm. Though the toad struggled, it was like Sun Wukong trapped under the Buddha's five fingers—completely helpless!

His movements were swift and decisive, leaving Xiao Chong and the other man stunned.

"Let's split up! Otherwise, it'll be hard to catch any toads!" Lai Fu suggested.

"Okay!" Xiao Chong agreed, feeling that following him around watching his performance wasn't ideal. Then, looking at Tian Yueqing, he asked, "What about you? Will you go with Brother Afu, or with me?"

Tian Yueqing glanced at Laifu, then at Xiaochong, hesitated for a moment, and said to Xiaochong, "I'll follow you. Let's see how you catch toads looking like this! Don't forget what you said last night!" Was that really true? Was there no other reason? Only she knew!

After hearing her words, Laifu told the two to watch their step and then headed off in another direction.

"You'll follow me, but don't make a sound, or you'll scare away the toads, and I'll stuff you into a snakeskin bag to make up the numbers!" Xiaochong laid down three rules for Tian Yueqing!

"Hmph!" Tian Yueqing grunted and silently followed behind him.

Xiao Chong held his flashlight, its beam swirling wildly like a shower of petals. Tian Yueqing couldn't tell if he was performing acrobatics or searching for a toad. After more than ten minutes, they hadn't seen a single tadpole, let alone a toad. The girl, growing impatient, couldn't help but say to the still half-hearted Xiao Chong, "Are you practicing swordplay? Or

wielding a meteor hammer? Do you think you can catch a toad like that?" "Shh, shut up, don't talk. The toad is about to appear,"

Xiao Chong said seriously, his flashlight still shining erratically. Speak of the devil, and he appears! With a casual swipe of Xiao Chong's flashlight, a toad bigger than a fist lay not far from them, squatting leisurely, seemingly defecating, urinating, or perhaps both while enjoying the moonlight and waiting for its low-flying dinner—insects or moths.

"Don't make a sound, please don't make a sound, watch me!" Xiao Chong whispered to Tian Yueqing, then strode forward on his own. When he reached where the toad had stopped, he put the flashlight in his mouth and swiftly pounced on the toad with both hands, catching it—a handful of mud. The toad hopped a few times but didn't disappear, remaining on the water plants as if waiting for Xiao Chong to catch it.

Seeing that this toad dared to challenge him, Xiao Chong decided to grant it its wish to die. He took two quick steps and pounced on it with one hand. This time, Xiao Chong was absolutely certain, because he could already feel the toad's cool, slippery skin. Just as he was about to rejoice and tighten his grip to grab it, the toad suddenly kicked its legs and struggled, leaping out of his grasp. It hopped and jumped away again, but still stubbornly remained about two meters from the edge of the paddy field.

This time, Xiao Chong was completely enraged. This was clearly a trick on him! Enraged, Xiao Chong no longer cared about the three essential techniques Lai Fu had taught him for catching toads: calmness, speed, and patience! With a flashlight in his mouth, he frantically charged towards the toad, kicking and splashing through the mud. Reaching it, he made a desperate, goalkeeper-like leap.

With a "plop," he landed in the paddy field, but his hands, poised to pounce on the toad, missed again. The toad let out a strange squeak, as if mocking Xiao Chong, and hopped a few times before disappearing into the darkness.

Xiao Chong stood in the paddy field, soaked and covered in mud, dumbfounded as the toad that had toyed with him vanished.

"Haha~~~~" Tian Yueqing couldn't help but burst into laughter at Xiao Chong's disheveled appearance, laughing until her stomach ached before she stopped. She gently pulled Xiao Chong, who was still reeling from the shock, and said, "Let's go back. Although you didn't catch a single toad, I know you tried your best, haha, I won't call you a coward! Haha~~~" As she spoke, she remembered the funny scene from earlier and couldn't help but laugh again.

The invincible and unstoppable Xiao Chong had never been insulted like this before. He angrily shook off her hand and roared, "I'm not going back! I won't go back until I catch a toad! I refuse to believe that a seven-foot-tall man can't even catch a toad!"

Tian Yueqing looked at the furious Xiao Chong without saying a word, but thought to herself: You're not seven feet tall, you're at most a little over five feet!

The battle between man and toads quickly began. Xiao Chong charged wildly through the paddy field like a madman, or like a goalkeeper practicing his saves, darting here and there... But the toads were incredibly intelligent. They knew that these monsters were no match for small insects and ants, and that they could only eat their brains. So, all the toads seemed to be in cahoots, teasing Xiao Chong until he was completely out of control. One would appear here, another would disappear there, making Xiao Chong jump up and down in frustration, but he couldn't catch a single one!

(The toads' inner thoughts: Hide and seek, so much fun!)

Tian Yueqing dared not laugh anymore, not because she was afraid Xiao Chong would get even angrier, but because she was afraid her stomach would cramp from laughing so hard!

Xiao Chong tossed and turned in the field for nearly two hours, until insects flew, toads jumped, and he was exhausted. He finally sat down by the edge of the field, panting heavily, and muttered to himself, "These toads are too good at bullying people!"

Miss Tian smiled again and moved closer to him, showing a rare tenderness. "Shall we go back? The toads are tired!"

Xiao Chong, still trying to catch his breath, rolled his eyes at her words and said irritably, "You mean I'm a toad?!"

"No! I didn't mean that!" Tian Yueqing covered up, but in her heart she thought: You are a toad, a toad with the surname "Lao" (meaning "toad" or "frog")!

"Hmph!" Xiao Chong grunted in agreement and sat there sulking.

"Let's go, let's catch more toads! This time I'll catch them!" Tian Yueqing turned on her flashlight and walked forward. The toads within a hundred paces were either terrified by Xiao Chong or asleep from playing, because they were completely silent.

Xiao Chong didn't believe she could catch any toads. Even a tough guy like him had been teased by these toads until he was covered in water, mud, and sweat, and still hadn't caught anything! You delicate girl, aren't you afraid they'll make you dizzy?! But seeing her clean clothes, I was curious to see her with a dirty, smeared face, so I followed her.

Tian Yueqing shone her flashlight around, and after walking only a dozen steps along the edge of the field, she heard a frog croak. The croak was a bit strange, but it was definitely a frog. So she quickened her pace, shone her flashlight, and saw two points of reflection ahead. Laifu had told her that when you look for frogs at night, you should look at their eyes; if you see two faintly glowing points, it's definitely a frog! Tian Yueqing only knew the theory, not the reasoning. She only knew there was a reflection, but forgot that Laifu meant a faint reflection, and the two points of reflection she was seeing now didn't seem faint at all.

In Chapter Sixteen of the Great Completion,

Tian Yueqing shone her flashlight around, and after walking only a dozen steps along the edge of the field, she heard the croaking of a toad. Although the croaking was a bit strange, it was definitely a toad. So she quickened her pace, shone her flashlight, and saw two reflective points in front of her. Lai Fu had told her that when you shine your light on a toad at night, you should mainly look at its eyes. As long as you see two faintly glowing points, it must be a toad! Tian Yueqing only knew the theory, but not the reason. She only knew there was a reflection, but forgot that Lai Fu was referring to a faint reflection. And the two reflections she was seeing now didn't seem to be faint at all.

Having found their target, the little girl, imitating Laifu, turned off her flashlight and shuffled forward, with Xiao Chong close behind. Upon reaching their location, the flashlight blazed on, and the little girl swiftly reached out, but her hand was only halfway out before Xiao Chong, even faster, grabbed it. Just as she was about to get angry, she heard him shout, "Don't catch her!"

Tian Yueqing quickly looked at the target's location and screamed, jumping onto Xiao Chong's waist and hugging him tightly. The reflecting eyes weren't a toad, but a large snake, almost the size of an infant's wrist, coiled up there, its enormous mouth holding a huge toad. The toad was croaking in pain, as if begging for help.

The snake, however, merely stared intently at the two, neither moving nor attacking, as if saying, "This is my territory, I'm in charge. You two better disappear! You want to steal the toad bride? No way!"

The two embraced quietly, a position both intimate and incredibly comfortable for Xiao Chong, as his member pressed against Tian Yueqing's most sensitive spot. At that moment, he couldn't help but recall a story: Once upon a time, there was a fool. On his wedding night, his parents, fearing he was too foolish to even know how to make love, instructed him: "Son, after the lights are turned off, take off your clothes and your wife's clothes, then use your hardest part to thrust against your wife's softest spot! Keep thrusting, use force, or your wife will leave you!"

The foolish son nodded repeatedly. After the guests had left and they had drunk the nuptial wine in the bridal chamber, and the lights were turned off, the foolish son quickly followed his father's instructions.

Soon after, the bride's painful groans echoed from the bridal chamber, a sound that rivaled the screams of a slaughtered pig. His parents, listening outside, were overjoyed; their son, though foolish, possessed extraordinary abilities in this area! But their joy was short-lived. They were suddenly met with the bride's heart-wrenching cries for help. The sound was nothing like lovemaking; it was more like torture. The parents, unable to bear it any longer, rushed in and saw their naked, mentally challenged son repeatedly slamming his rusty head against the bride's breasts…

The night was beautiful, the wind cool…

Xiao Chong inhaled the fragrance of Tian Yueqing's hair, gazing at her shy, bashful face. At that moment, his heart was captivated. Under the moonlight, this already beautiful woman appeared even more ethereal. Xiao Chong, a connoisseur of countless women, still couldn't resist his rising heart. Alas, his affections were unrequited!

"Is it comfortable?" Tian Yueqing asked expressionlessly as Xiao Chong was lost in his ecstasy.

"Yes!" Xiao Chong remained lost in the moment, unconsciously twisting his waist and thrusting his hips to intensify the pleasure.

"You scoundrel! You're a complete and utter scoundrel!" Tian Yueqing cursed!

Xiao Chong was somewhat sober now. The woman in his arms was beautiful, but she didn't belong to him. "Yes, I'm a male hooligan, and you're a female hooligan. We're a match made in heaven!"

"Pah! You don't know what's good for you! I'm not a hooligan!"

"Oh, you're not a hooligan? If you're not a hooligan, why are you suddenly hugging me so tightly! And you're desperately squeezing me with your two big mountains..."

"Shut up!" Tian Yueqing said bitterly. She wanted to let him go, but the snake was still under her feet. Once bitten, twice shy. Besides, this wasn't a rope, it was a real snake. Having been bitten before, she dared not put her feet down!

"Don't be angry, being angry is punishing myself for your mistake!"

"You~~~"

"What? You want to bite me? Then I'll just leave you be and throw you down to feed the snake! This snake is so big, one toad probably won't be enough for it, I'll send it a female toad!" Xiao Chong obviously knew she was afraid, and now he pretended to throw her onto the muscular snake.

"Ah~~~ No!" Tian Yueqing was terrified, hugging Xiao Chong even tighter, and in her panic, she even had the thought: I'd rather be a female toad than a male like you.

"Haha, then I'll help you get rid of this snake, how will you repay me?" Xiao Chong took the opportunity to kick her while she was down, threatening and bribing her!

"I—" Tian Yueqing really wanted to say, I'll pinch you a couple of times, bite you three times, and kick you four times to repay you.

"Let me kiss you, and I'll take care of the snake, okay?" As he spoke, Xiao Chong shamelessly rubbed his crotch against the girl's soft spot, making her angry, ashamed, itchy, and flustered!

"..." Tian Yueqing didn't speak, but her expressive eyes were practically spitting fire! Clearly: This was bad! But she was too angry to speak!

Xiao Chong didn't care about that; silence often meant acquiescence, so he reached out and tightly encircled her hips, his large mouth pressing down to kiss her luscious red lips.

Tian Yueqing desperately resisted, shaking her head back and forth to dodge his wolfish kiss, but he was very patient, relentlessly pursuing her, relentlessly coaxing her! After dancing the disco for a while, the girl's neck ached, and her head felt a little dizzy. She stopped to catch her breath, but unexpectedly, he kissed her.

Since she couldn't resist the forced kiss, she decided to try and enjoy it. But the girl refused; although her lips were violated, she gritted her teeth, refusing to let him invade her mouth and entangle her more deeply.

Unable to overpower her with direct force, Xiao Chong resorted to a roundabout tactic, relentlessly teasing her lips with his tongue, licking them, gently biting them with his teeth, and sucking them with his mouth... using every trick in the book. Tian Yueqing was initially filled with shame and anger, wishing she could slap him twice, but soon she was overwhelmed by his skillful kissing technique. His lips were thick, soft, and smooth, with an indescribable feel, and his tongue was even more irresistible, constantly licking and gently biting her with his teeth. Before long, she lost control, feeling her face flush, her ears burning, and her heart pounding. Her jaw loosened slightly, and his long, snake-like penis took advantage of the situation and plunged in.

Tian Yueqing wanted to bite him, but ultimately couldn't bring herself to do it. This rogue-like man, though he had forcefully taken her first kiss, hadn't made her feel uncomfortable. On the contrary, a feeling she had never experienced before flowed through her body—a feeling that couldn't be described in words. It was so comfortable, so gentle. If there were feelings as a foundation, she believed there would be many more feelings: sweetness, romance, and happiness.

After a marathon-like kiss, the two finally separated. Xiao Chong was already feeling breathless, but Tian Yueqing was still reluctant to part. However, she was too embarrassed to say it aloud; her face was already as red as an eggplant. Xiao Chong, on the other hand, looked at her with a sly smile!

"You scoundrel!" Tian Yueqing felt incredibly embarrassed by his gaze. Already shy, she was now even more furious and punched him with her small fists. Although she was hitting him with all her might, to Xiao Chong, it was still like a tickle or a massage.

"Why don't you chase that snake away!" Miss Tian finally vented some of her anger after hitting him for a while.

"Huh? Don't you know? That snake ran away a long time ago. It's probably still a minor. It ran away as soon as this kind of adult scene started. This snake probably hasn't watched any adult films! Haha!" Xiao Chong laughed.

"Then let me go!" Tian Yueqing scolded.

The two finally separated, and Tian Yueqing immediately returned to normal, losing her gentle and tender demeanor and instead facing Xiao Chong with an icy expression.

On the way back, the two were silent, the atmosphere... there was no atmosphere at all!

When they arrived at Laifu's house, they found that Laifu had already returned and was doing the butcher's work by the well, slaughtering the toads!

In fact, Laifu had already gone home. On the way, he saw Xiao Chong and Tian Yueqing embracing, and since he had nothing to do with Cheng Yaojin, he naturally wisely took a detour!

Seeing Xiao Chong and his companion return, the honest-looking man couldn't help but laugh. After all this time, it seemed Xiao Chong's skills were quite impressive!

Tian Yueqing, seeing Lai Fu's strange smile, knew he knew about her and Xiao Chong's embarrassing affair. Her face, which had just recovered from a fever, flushed red again, and with a soft moan, she slipped into the house.

Xiao Chong, seeing Lai Fu killing the toads by the well, his blood and juices flowing freely, remembered being teased by the toads all night and felt it was time for revenge. So he went over to help him.

Lai Fu worked alone tonight, but his harvest was even richer than the night before when the three of them worked together. He caught a full fifty toads, and the slaughtering was now more than halfway done. His movements were somewhat cruel, but extremely swift and efficient. Beside him were two plates, one large and one small. The large plate was full of skinned toads, and the small plate had a few unskinned toads on it.

"Hey? These aren't skinned. Let me peel them!" Xiao Chong said.

"No need, no need. These are for my dad! My dad likes to eat toads with the skin on, but my wife and kids don't like the skin. It's too tough and hard to chew. I figured you probably wouldn't like it either, so I peeled it!" Lai Fu explained.

"Brother Afu is such a filial son!" Xiao Chong exclaimed.

"Sigh, a person only has one father in their lifetime. If you don't take good care of him now, how much time will you have to teach him to be filial later?" Laifu said.

These simple words struck Xiao Chong's calm heart like a boulder. Yes, how many fathers does a person have in their lifetime? Just one. If he doesn't take good care of him now, is he supposed to wait until he dies to be filial? Thinking of this, he suddenly started thinking about his father, remembering when he was little, his father teaching him medicine, how to be a person, and medical ethics... When his mother scolded and beat him, his father always protected him with heartache. He always thought of him first when there was good food. During the holidays, he received toys and new clothes... Originally, during the years his parents disappeared, he thought that he had no choice but to repay their kindness. The grief in his heart was more painful than death. But now they were all back. He had elderly parents and young children. The whole family was together, four generations under one roof. What a happy thing this was!

"Brother Afu, is there a telephone in your village?" Even though Xiao Chong is already a father of two, he's still impulsive and quick to speak his mind. At Laifu's suggestion, he wanted to call his parents.

"Yes, there is a telephone in the village store! Why, do you want to make a call?"

"Yes, I miss my dad! I want to call him!" Xiao Chong wasn't embarrassed; missing his father was a very honorable and sacred thing!

"Hehe! Okay, Xiao Fu, Xiao Fu, come quick, grab the flashlight and take your uncle to the convenience store to make a phone call!" Lai Fu called out a few times, and his eight-year-old son, Xiao Fu, came bounding out of the house with a flashlight.

Xiao Fu led Xiao Chong to the convenience store, and along the way, Xiao Chong was in a good mood, singing a song that no one knew: "That time I called home, Dad answered the phone, it's been so long since I've been home, how is home? But you've been working so hard outside, your mom must be exhausted, she talks about you all the time, you should come home often, oh Dad, it's been so long since I've been home, it's not that I don't miss home, Mom's health is my biggest worry..." (

Chapter 17 of the Da Cheng chapter, starting to do that thing, in a muffled voice) Without a word,

Xiao Fu led Xiao Chong towards the small shop. Along the way, Xiao Chong was in high spirits, singing a song he didn't recognize: "That time I called home, Dad answered. It's been so long since I've been home, how's everyone at home? But you've been working so hard outside, your mom must be exhausted. She talks about you all the time. Come home often, oh Dad, it's been so long since I've been home, it's not that I don't miss home, Mom's health is my biggest worry..."

The small shop was actually run by a farm family. To make it easier for villagers to buy daily necessities from wholesalers, they sold them retail. The prices were a bit high, but not outrageous. Xiao Chong dialed Xiao Sheng's number, but it wasn't his father who answered, it was his mother—Shen Xue.

Shen Xue was overjoyed to hear Xiao Chong's voice, but her joy vanished in an instant. She asked in a low voice, "Is something wrong?"

"Nothing, son just missed you all!" Xiao Chong said happily and proudly, thinking his mother must be touched.

"What the hell are you thinking about? You old dog, always thinking about your parents, look at you, so pathetic!"

"..." Xiao Chong was speechless. His heart, which had just been burning with passion, seemed to have been doused with a bucket of cold water, instantly cooling down, hissing, and wisps of cold air rising.

"If you have nothing better to do, then spend more time processing your medicine. If you don't bring back the finished medicine in six months, see how I deal with you!"

"Don't worry, Mother, I will do my best!" A bead of sweat appeared on Xiao Chong's forehead.

"It's not just 'try your best,' it's 'you absolutely must, you absolutely must, you must complete it.' Otherwise, hmph, you haven't been whipped in a long time, have you?!"

"Okay, Mom, I understand! Where's Dad?"

"Your dad's taking a shower. That son of a bitch is thinking about... Anything else? If not, I'm hanging up! Not me, but my phone's off. We're not going to die, you don't need to worry about us!"

"Yes, yes, Mom, do you know how to catch and raise those toads?"

"Toads? I've never raised those before. Why do you want to raise toads?"

"The medicine I'm researching might be in the toads. I want to breed them in large numbers! But right now, let alone raising them, even catching a few is difficult!"

"Oh, is that so! Sigh, if I were twenty years younger, I'd take the night train to find you right now. Back in the day, your mother had a wild boar and a few roosters, and we made so many hybrid chickens and pigs... (But now I'm old, this era belongs to you. You have to figure out many things yourself. Your father spoiled you too much from childhood, which made you have this impulsive personality. Otherwise, you wouldn't have suffered setbacks everywhere and almost become impotent...)

"Mom, I know I was wrong, please stop talking, okay?"

"What, you don't want to hear your mother's lecture anymore? You think your mother is old and nagging? You little ungrateful thing, I've raised you with every drop of poop and pee, every drop of water and every drop of food..."

"No, no!" Xiao Chong denied repeatedly! But in his heart, he thought: Mom, you were just as nagging when you were young!

"Hmph, you're just like your dad, both heartless!" Shen Xue continued her incessant rant on the other end of the phone. Just then, it seemed Xiao Sheng had returned from his shower, and Xiao Chong heard his voice on the other end: "Whose call is that?"

"You heartless bastard!" Shen Xue said irritably.

"It's so late, is something wrong?" Xiao Sheng asked.

"Nothing!"

"Oh, then let me say a few words to him!"

"Since nothing's wrong, what do you have to say? You're a grown man arguing with a woman over the phone, aren't you ashamed? Aren't you embarrassed? Do you know about ladies first?"

Xiao Sheng immediately went silent on the other end of the phone; it was unclear whether he had fallen asleep, disappeared, or was sulking... given his personality, there were probably many possibilities!

"You heartless bastard, are you still there?" Shen Xue finally dealt with Xiao Chong's father and returned her attention to the phone.

"Yes! I'm here!" Xiao Chong quickly answered.

"Let me tell you, you can eat, drink, and have fun outside, even cheat and swindle, but lust is a dangerous thing. You absolutely mustn't go to prostitutes!"

"I know, I won't!" Xiao Chong was bewildered. Was this directed at him? Or at his father? Could it be that his father…? Stop, stop! He couldn't be so unkind as to speculate about his father!

"You have to remember, you have a family, a wife, and a son!"

"Yes, I remember!" Xiao Chong quickly replied!

"You have to think about how old you are. You have to be worthy of your wife and children!"

"Yes, I won't let them down!" Xiao Chong was puzzled. He was only in his mid-twenties! How could he be considered old?!

"You can't drool over every new girl at a nightclub like a cat seeing fish! I won't blame you for having multiple wives, but I'll be very, very upset if you take a prostitute from a nightclub as a concubine."

"I won't!" Xiao Chong was completely dumbfounded. What was going on? A nightclub in this remote mountain village? There weren't even any night owls here!

Then Xiao Sheng's angry voice came from the other end of the phone: "Are you ever going to stop? Why are you talking to the child about this!"

"What business is it of yours how I teach my son? You'd better stay out of my way and not bother me, or else, hmph!"

"Or else what? I already said I was drunk that night and didn't know anything!"

"You're still making excuses? Fine, see how I deal with you later! You think just because your mother doesn't have the strength to hit you now, no one will? Your mother said that from the day I entered your Ouyang family, I represented her..."

"Dad, Mom, stop arguing!" Xiao Chong cried out nervously! Now he finally understood; his father must have done something to offend his mother for her to be acting so strangely! Although she was sexy and fiery, and incredibly fierce towards him, she had always been obedient to his father.

"We're not arguing, hehe, we're just chatting. Son, if you want to catch a lot of frogs, I'll only give you three hints: first, it's like a moth drawn to a flame; second, it's like luring someone into a trap; and third, you can guess for yourself! As for breeding, I don't know much about it either. I'll find a breeding expert for you in a few days. Okay, I'm hanging up!" Before Shen Xue could hang up, he heard her roar, followed by Xiao Chong's father's scream. Before the screams stopped, the phone went dead.

Xiao Chong put down the phone, both amused and exasperated. He hadn't expected his father, even in his old age, to still be so philandering! It seemed he was in for a world of hurt this time! Thinking of this, he couldn't help but pray for his father: "Dad, pray for your own good fortune, take good care of yourself. Men are bound to cheat sometimes, but remember to wipe your mouth clean!"

After hanging up the phone, Xiao Chong grabbed a bag of candy for Xiao Fu and bought a lot of things that Lai Fu's family might need. This time he had money, and quite a lot at that, so he could do whatever he wanted! But he couldn't let Lin Meimei know about this, otherwise he would definitely be robbed again. Thinking of her, his mind was like a fuse that had been lit, and soon it slowly exploded. Was Lin Meimei back yet? What about Sun Shanshan? Did she really fly abroad again? How could these two women be so irresponsible? They had everything agreed on, but in no time, they left him with such a huge mess to clean up alone... To borrow Shen Xue's words, they were truly heartless!

Back at Lai Fu's house, Xiao Zhong's mind was still a bit of a mess. Lin Daiyu, Sun Shanshan, what was this moth to a flame? What was this trap? And what was the third one?

Tian Yueqing was still awake, and the two of them felt a little awkward seeing each other again. The girl had been chatting and laughing with Lai Fu's wife, but as soon as she saw Xiao Chong, her face darkened and she became cold and silent. Xiao Chong was about to say a few words to her, but before he could speak, she turned and went into her room, slamming the door shut on him.

"You son of a bitch, what's so great about that? I just nibbled on you! Besides, you seemed to be enjoying it, why are you pretending? Do you really think you're made of gold?" Xiao Chong cursed angrily. He was bold, meticulous, and thick-skinned, but he forgot that girls have a sense of modesty and reserve. Not every girl is as invulnerable and open-minded as Lin Daiyu.

At night, the Lai Fu family fell silent. Only the large bed in Lai Fu's room creaked softly. There was no sound, not even a whisper. Rural people are simple and reserved, unlike Xiao Chong's women who are so unrestrained. Even Lin Daiyu, who came from the countryside, made a lot of noise. She was an exception!

Xiao Chong, wide awake, had wanted to hear Lai Fu's wife's moans, but the bed creaked for a long time before finally stopping. Neither Lai Fu nor his wife uttered a sound. This couple was truly suited for underground revolutionary work. Everything was done in secret, everything was silent. If the bed had been a little more compliant, who would have known that a dramatic labor was underway?

Unable to sleep, Xiao Chong carried a low stool to the courtyard outside. He was thinking about his mother's three hints!

What does "moths to a flame" mean? The definition seems to be that moths know that flying into a fire is almost certainly fatal, but they still rush headlong into the flames without hesitation! Thinking about this, Xiao Chong gathered some small pieces of firewood, scraps of trash, and dry grass to start a fire.

Sure enough, when the fire lit up, some mosquitoes and ants came closer, but the moths were nowhere to be seen. Clearly, his fire wasn't big enough, and Fei'e's eyesight wasn't good enough to see them!

At this moment, the door to Lai Fu's house creaked open, and a slender, pretty figure appeared—it was Tian Yueqing! She had been sleeping soundly when she was awakened by the grinding of teeth on the bed, which was only separated by a wall. When she realized what was happening, her face flushed, her heart pounded, and the sound continued to assault her ears and pound in her heart, whether she wanted it or not. Finally, it quieted down, and she thought she could finally sleep peacefully, but before she could drift off to sleep, the bed started grinding again! A second marriage? Brother Fu and Sister-in-law Fu are really killing me!

Unable to sleep any longer, she went inside, but as soon as she stepped out the door, she froze, because she saw Xiao Chong warming himself by the fire in the yard.

Chapter 18 of the Great Completion: It Hurts

So Much! What kind of person is this, warming himself by a fire in the middle of summer! Tian Yueqing was about to turn around and go back inside, but thinking of the unbearably disturbing bed, she inexplicably walked closer to Xiao Chong and sat down a distance away from him.

"What are you doing out here instead of sleeping?" Xiao Chong preemptively retorted.

"And what are you doing out here instead of sleeping?" Tian Yueqing echoed, her words sharp.

"Mind your own business! It's a quiet night, the flowers are in full bloom, and the moon is bright. I'm feeling poetic, so can't I come out and compose a poem?"

"You? Hmph! Even a hooligan can recite poetry? Have some decency and stop ruining Chinese characters!"

"..." Xiao Chong was so angry that he got an erection. Under the moonlight and firelight, Tian Yueqing's eyes were alluring, her thin clothes tightly covering her exquisite and curvaceous figure. Especially when she bent over to play with the fire, her half-circle breasts were exposed from her wide neckline, and her deep cleavage was even more irresistible

. "What are you looking at, you big pervert!" Tian Yueqing noticed Xiao Chong's strange gaze and quickly sat up straight, scolding him. After a long silence, the girl couldn't help but speak again. "Since you're bored, read the poem you just wrote to me!"

"Aren't you afraid my poem will assault your ears!" Xiao Chong's face immediately showed a lewd look.

"Can't you stop being such a scoundrel? Can't you speak a little more politely?"

"Polite? That's the prerogative of hypocrites. A man of true character like me doesn't know anything about politeness!"

"Hmph!" Tian Yueqing couldn't argue with him, so she snorted and ignored him.

"Then listen carefully! One night, two people in the same bed, shirtless, legs spread..."

"Shut up! What lousy poetry! I knew it! A rogue and scoundrel trying to compose poetry? It's laughable!" Tian Yueqing scoffed.

"Why are you in such a hurry? I meant I can't recite that kind of poem! The poem I'm about to recite is the one I wrote! Tang Village's scenery is unparalleled, with exotic flowers and rare herbs blooming along the streams and lakes, fragrant all year round. In spring, peach blossoms and willows line the river; in summer, lotus flowers fill the ponds; in autumn, the bright moon shines like clear water; and in winter, snow blankets the hills!"

"Terrible, still terrible! It's all made up out of thin air, like those ubiquitous fantasy novels online! You've only been to Tang Village for two days and three nights, and you're already talking about spring, summer, autumn, and winter! It's so unrealistic! The poem reflects the poet!" Although Tian Yueqing criticized his poem as utterly worthless, she had to admit in her heart that while it might be quite appealing as a tourist advertisement, it was far, far away from being associated with a poet!

"These bright, glaring days.

This noisy, bustling life.

These ever-approaching daily necessities.

My love,

let us build a tomb together!

My love,

please take me away with your deep affection!

Please let me enter your body deeply,

please let me rest inside you.

I am not a blind train that takes

me in, nor a car that happens to pass by occasionally.

I am a lonely traveler,

empty, desolate

, and with nowhere to go.

It was destined that we would meet.

So, my love!

Please take me away!

With your endless tunnel of warmth!"

Tian Yueqing was stunned. What kind of poem was this? It seemed crude and vulgar, not something to be admired, but deep within its essence lay love. The poem began by describing the realities of society and the ordinariness of life, then proceeded with a naked declaration of love, entering your body. While seemingly an insult, it actually carried multiple layers of meaning: entering your heart, implanting in your mind, or bluntly asking for sex. It wasn't a blind train, indicating the author's upright character, not driven by lust, nor was it a fleeting moment of passion, suggesting it wasn't an impulsive act, but a carefully crafted masterpiece.

Building a tomb—not a physical tomb, but a tomb in the eyes of postmodern people, representing marriage. There's a common saying now: marriage is a tomb, but not marrying is like dying without a burial place.

The understated language revealed the poet's desolate state of mind and profound love. What kind of man could write such a poem? Tian Yueqing asked herself again and again.

"A good poem, isn't it?" Xiao Chong looked smugly at Tian Yueqing's stunned expression.

"You scoundrel!" Tian Yueqing finally snapped out of her daze and cursed.

"Fine, the poem will be called 'Scoundrel'! It's for you! Do you like it?" Xiao Chong asked shamelessly.

"Pah! Who wants your lousy poem!" Tian Yueqing retorted, but a faint, warm feeling flowed through her heart.

"Haha!" Xiao Chong seemed to see through her thoughts and laughed smugly, then said seriously, "It's not hard to be a good poet, but it's hard to be a good poet!"

"Hmm!" Tian Yueqing actually nodded with some understanding! This made Xiao Chong stare at her for the first time.

"Yueqing, do you know what 'a moth to a flame' means?"

Tian Yueqing was stunned. A moth to a flame? Was he talking about me? Did he mean I knew he was a scoundrel but still rushed towards him? That despicable bastard!

She immediately said angrily, "What do you mean?" Xiao Chong was startled. "I just asked you how to interpret this idiom, why are you so agitated? My mother doesn't want to help me with this frog-raising work; she only gave me three hints. 'A moth drawn to a flame' is the first one!"

"Oh, I see!" Tian Yueqing wiped the sweat from her brow and asked, "And the second one?"

"The second one is 'luring a swarm into a trap'!"

"That's interesting. What's the third one?"

"I don't know. She said I have to figure it out myself."

"Hehe, your mother must be a clever person to come up with these ideas!" Tian Yueqing covered her mouth and giggled.

"What? You've guessed it? Tell me quickly, okay?" Xiao Chong asked anxiously. He had been thinking about these three questions all night but still couldn't figure out the answers or what to do.

"I guessed it, but why should I tell you!"

"Don't be like that, Yueqing. You know your brother Xiao Chong is very good to you. Doesn't your brother Xiao Chong pay you so much every month?" Xiao Chong said ingratiatingly.

Tian Yueqing got angry again upon hearing this. "Stop bringing up wages all the time. I only signed an employment contract with you, not a contract to sell myself. The terms don't include the possibility of me being molested or humiliated by you!"

"No, no! I didn't!" Xiao Chong said innocently.

"Didn't?" Tian Yueqing's almond-shaped eyes widened again. "You say you didn't, but then what did you do to me in the field tonight!"

"I, I couldn't help myself. Actually, I've fallen for you!" Xiao Chong became a little shy now, but what he said wasn't wrong; he liked any pretty woman.

"Hmph, you can fool naive little girls with that kind of talk, but don't try it on me!" Tian Yueqing was no pushover. Xiao Chong's attempt to win her heart so easily was probably a waste of time!

"I'm serious... So what do you want in return for telling me?" Xiao Chong wanted to explode, but he had to lower himself because he needed her help.

"It's simple, just pinch me a couple of times!" Tian Yueqing said calmly.

"Okay, not just two, ten is no problem!" Xiao Chong readily agreed. A couple of pinches? What's a man's fear of being pinched? It's not like he's never been pinched by a woman before! But this time, he seemed to have misjudged the situation. This woman hadn't been conquered by him yet, and she wasn't as lenient with him as his other women had been.

"Hmph, wait until you've taken those two pinches! Hold out your hand!" Tian Yueqing rarely showed a smile.

That smile was truly beautiful. Xiao Chong stared at her like a lovesick fool, obediently extending his hand. A moment later, a piercing pain jolted him back to reality. He immediately started screaming and crying, but since it was late and quiet, he dared not wake anyone, only letting out low, suppressed screams.

Tian Yueqing's technique was unique and effective. It was unclear how she had developed it, but her nails were very long. When pinching, she used only her nails, and unlike other women, she didn't pinch as much flesh—just a tiny bit, ideally within the range of two nails. Xiao Chong had never taken pinching seriously before, but after this experience, he was terrified! Because the pinched flesh was so small, and it was done with sharp nails, the pain was concentrated on that one point. This concentrated pain was excruciating, like a piercing, stabbing pain. (The above actions require parental guidance. Female readers should not attempt to imitate this; it could be fatal!)

Xiao Chong screamed for a while before the pain slowly subsided. Looking down at the pinched area with the firelight, although there was no bleeding, it was already bruised!

"Does it hurt?" Tian Yueqing asked with seemingly kind and considerate concern.

"It hurts, it hurts so much! It hurts so much!" Xiao Chong almost cried from the pinch. How painful!

"It hurts, it hurts, it hurts! Come on, a short pain is better than a long one, just pinch me again and it'll be fine!" Tian Yueqing said with a beaming smile. After several exchanges, she had finally gained the upper hand. How could she not be happy?

"No, stop! Stop! It hurts so much, it hurts so much!" Xiao Chong said pitifully, clutching the small patch of red, swollen, and purple flesh.

Unfortunately, Tian Yueqing's sympathy was very expensive; even 180 million couldn't buy a fraction of it, let alone his few words of pleading

, which had no appeal or value. "Hurry up, otherwise you'll have suffered for nothing, and I won't tell you anything!" "God! Did you send this witch specifically to deal with me?" Xiao Chong asked God in pain. God didn't speak; it tacitly agreed!

After this pinch...

"Ah—" A sharp, painful scream echoed through the sky, lingering for a long time!

The same woman, the same pinching method, the same force, and even... the same spot—the pain was as terrible as it could be.

It took Xiao Chong a long, long time to recover from the pain. This time, he finally understood that people could be pinched like this, and that pinching like this could hurt even more than cutting flesh!

"Was it good?" Tian Yueqing added insult to injury when she saw Xiao Chong's painful appearance.

"Good~~~~~~ Ah!!!" Xiao Chong's face was already contorted, his features almost shifting from pleasure to pain.

"Do you want a few more?"

Xiao Chong felt a chill in his heart and desperately shook his head, saying, "No no no no no no no!"

"Hehe, let's see if you dare to do it again! Okay, I keep my word! I'll tell you the hint I guessed!"

Xiao Chong quickly put on a learning expression as soon as he heard that things were finally getting to the point.

"This 'moth to a flame' is the same as 'goose flying into a fire,' and 'luring someone into a jar' is the same as 'leading someone into a jar!' Hint complete, I'm outta here, going to sleep, bye-bye!" After Tian Yueqing finished speaking, she disappeared from the room.

After a long, long time, Xiao Chong finally reacted, and roared angrily, "Tian Yueqing, you tricked me!"

The room was quiet, except for a faint, almost imperceptible chuckle...

Chapter Nineteen of the Great

Completion: Nine Yin White Bone Finger. The next morning, everyone noticed Xiao Chong's complexion was off. Overnight, his face had turned ashen, like Bao Gong (a famous judge in Chinese history).

"No way, you're this angry? Haha!" Tian Yueqing pointed at Xiao Chong's face, laughing so hard she bent over.

Xiao Chong trembled with rage. Since waking up that morning, everyone had been giving him strange smiles. He thought everyone knew he'd been tricked the night before, making him lose all interest in brushing his teeth and washing his face. Now, seeing Tian Yueqing still mocking him, he was filled with hatred! "You little wench, you just wait! One day I'll get you into bed, cripple you, render you unable to take care of your sexual life, and see if you're still so arrogant!"

After laughing for a while, Tian Yueqing stopped. She couldn't push him too far; after all, he was still her boss. She'd already felt much better after pinching him a couple of times last night, and this morning she'd completely forgotten all the unpleasantness.

A fragrant tissue floated towards Xiao Chong.

He didn't look at the tissue, but at the person holding it—Tian Yueqing!

Tian Yueqing felt uncomfortable under his gaze and involuntarily said, "Your face is so dirty, it must be from dust last night. Wipe it off!"

Hearing this, Xiao Chong quickly grabbed a mirror and looked at himself. The reflection wasn't of a clean, white man at all; it was clearly a reincarnation of Judge Bao! No wonder people wanted to marry him. He didn't even take the tissue, grabbing the mirror and heading straight for the well outside. It wasn't that he didn't appreciate Tian Yueqing's kindness, but that small piece of tissue wouldn't clean him properly.

After washing his face, he looked in the mirror again and again, finally revealing his true appearance! Looking again, he discovered Tian Yueqing standing smiling behind him.

"What do you want?" Xiao Chong quickly turned around, looking at her warily!

"What? Are you afraid of me?" Tian Yueqing couldn't help but laugh at his neurotic appearance, but she held back to avoid straining the relationship between subordinate and superior.

"Hmph! Who's afraid of you! I just don't fight with women!" Xiao Chong's heart pounded at the thought of the two pinches last night; he was genuinely a little afraid of her, but he still had to put on a brave face.

"Do you still want to know your mother's hint? I thought about it all night and finally figured it out! Hehe!"

"Really? That's great, Yueqing, you're so smart! Tell me quickly, my dear sister!" Xiao Chong pretended to be overjoyed, but inwardly he was wary.

"Do you really want to know?" Tian Yueqing had a strange expression on her face.

Xiao Chong knew something was wrong at first glance, but still had no choice but to say, "Yes, I really want to!"

"Then pinch me a couple more times!" Tian Yueqing said calmly.

"What the hell?! Are you addicted to pinching me or what? I only gave you a little nibble, why are you making such a fuss about it?" Xiao Chong exploded in fury.

"A little nibble? You make it sound so easy! That was my first kiss! Whatever, if you want to know, pinch me twice. I swear to the sun I won't play you!" Tian Yueqing said seriously.

Believe her? Don't believe her? Take the bet? Xiao Chong was in a dilemma. Two pinches… that kind of pain is unbearable for most people. What if he gets tricked after being pinched twice? Mom, teach me what to do!

Shen Xue had taught Xiao Chong since he was little: Son, when you grow up, never believe in animals that can bleed for a week and still survive!

At the time, Xiao Chong didn't understand what kind of animal could be so strong, bleeding for a week and still not die! The cat next to the tofu seller died after bleeding for a day.

Later, as he grew older, he understood that such an animal was a woman. There's a week of bleeding every month; heavy or light bleeding won't kill me, but missing it is a real problem. Later, he overheard two female office workers at He Keng Clinic saying, "Your salary is like your period; if it doesn't come for a month, you're in trouble." At that moment, Xiao Chong was truly dumbfounded!

Now, should he believe his mother or himself? He was wise, but his mother seemed even wiser! She often said, "If you don't listen to your mother, you'll suffer the consequences!"

Fine, he might as well suffer the consequences. If he lingered here any longer, time would run out; it was better to resolve this sooner!

"Pinch me then!" Xiao Chong said, extending his uninjured hand.

"Not this one!" Tian Yueqing said seriously.

Was she going to pinch the same hand from last night, and the same spot again? Xiao Chong, trembling with fear, extended his injured hand. The small, bruised scar was glaringly blue and swollen, making him feel heartbroken. How could a woman have done this to him? It was utterly unreasonable!

Xiao Chong sadly closed his eyes, waiting for that excruciating pain...

After waiting for a long time, he only felt a slight coolness on his wound, as if someone had touched it, and then there was no more movement. He couldn't help but open his eyes and look at her suspiciously. "You're not going to pinch me anymore?"

"I'm not a she-devil, how could I be so cruel! If you hadn't bullied me like that last night, why would I have pinched you!" Tian Yueqing looked at the bruised and swollen mark on his hand, and for some reason, she felt a pang of sadness in her heart! Was it crocodile tears, a guilty conscience, or something else? She couldn't tell!

"I'll say it again, I really couldn't help myself, because you're so beautiful!" Xiao Chong, having gotten the better deal, started to act innocent.

"Forget it, let's forget about the past! I thought about it carefully last night and finally figured it out. Your mother's hint was actually very simple! But she solved your problem with just a few words. She truly is an unparalleled wise woman!"

"Of course! My mother's mind is world-renowned. Tell me how simple it was!"

"She said that 'moths fly into flames' doesn't just refer to moths, but to all insects that like fire!"

"What does that have to do with my raising toads?"

"It has a lot to do with it! These insects are what toads like to eat! Do you understand?"

"I understand, toads like to eat insects! What's there to not understand!"

"Oh my god, it seems you've used all your brainpower to pick up girls and take advantage of them! Your mother taught you a breeding method in these three hints. Moths like to fly into flames, but they get burned to death, charred, and toads don't like to eat them! But if you replace the fire with lamplight, the moths won't die!"

"You mean my mother taught me to use a light to catch moths to feed the toads! Why bother with all that? Just use some special toad feed!"

"Wrong. Feed is good, but nothing beats these natural insects. Besides, your mother didn't tell you to catch the moths yourself; she had the toads do it. It's like luring the toads into a trap—a classic case of the mantis stalking the cicada, unaware of the oriole behind. Do you understand?"

"I still don't understand!"

"You fool! Can't you even see such a simple method? This place is full of farmland and barren hills, and toads are hiding in all sorts of burrows here and there. If you just string a line to the center of these areas, put a white fluorescent light in the air, and all those moths and insects will fly towards the light, right? Their flight after seeing light is very blind; they usually rush desperately towards the light, which is like crashing. After crashing a few times, they'll fall to the ground. Once they've fallen a lot, the toads will naturally know where the food is and will all gather there to fight for it. If you just set a trap, it'll be like luring them into a trap!"

"Ah, I see!" Xiao Chong said with a sudden realization.

"Then you should be able to figure out the third clue, right?" Tian Yueqing asked.

"Of course I can't... figure it out!" Xiao Chong said with a bitter face. Women's minds are so complicated, how could I possibly guess them?

"Sigh, I really don't know what to do with you. Such a capable mother gave birth to a stupid son like you. You must have done something wrong in your past life! The second one is like luring the enemy into a trap, and the third one is like catching a turtle in a jar! Once the trap is set and the ambush is closed, you can catch a lot of frogs. If you can get them to mate and lay eggs, and then manage them by category, will you have any worries about not being able to raise them?"

"Oh my god, my mother is so amazing, and Yuqing is amazing too. Something I couldn't figure out even after racking my brains was explained to me in just a few words. I'm so excited, let me hug you!" Xiao Chong said excitedly to Tian Yueqing, gesturing wildly.

"Look, here we go again. You were only serious for a moment, and you're already acting like a hooligan again? Didn't you get enough pinching?" Tian Yueqing said, raising her two sharp fingernails, which gleamed coldly in the sunlight, like sharp, divine blades.

Xiao Chong felt a chill run down his spine looking at her long fingernails and dared not make that inappropriate request again. He quickly went to Lai Fu to discuss his grand plan of catching and raising toads to make money.

Lai Fu, upon hearing Xiao Chong's idea, felt it had potential. His house was nestled against a mountain and faced fields, the door not far from the center of the fields. He had previously collected nearly 500 meters of used electrical wire when he worked in the city, during the demolition of a restaurant. He had hoped to sell it for a thousand or eight hundred, but then thought his family might need it, so he couldn't bear to give it away to the scrap yard! Now, all he needed was one end to a socket and the other to a sunroof. The fluorescent lights could be easily stretched into the middle of the paddy field.

Setting them up was even easier; all they had to do was cut some bamboo, split it into pieces, weave it into rafts, erect them in the field to form a large circle, and leave numerous gaps around the rafts that allowed entry but not exit. They could then place the lights in the center of the rafts and wait for the toads to take the bait.

After discussing it for a while, the two decided to get to work. Lai Fu was in charge of cutting the bamboo, his wife was in charge of weaving, Xiao Chong was in charge of manipulating the threads, and Tian Yueqing assisted him. Thus, a rather large-scale toad-catching plan began…

At dusk, a circular bamboo raft appeared in the center of several paddy fields in front of Lai Fu's house, about 1.5 meters high and 200 meters in circumference. Seven or eight fluorescent lights were tied together and hung in the center of the circle.

Everything was ready; they just waited for nightfall.
