Because of some family matters, I went back to my hometown in early August. My wife's boss said his work area was being relocated to Shenzhen, and that an apartment had been arranged for her there. We traveled directly from our hometown to Shenzhen, a long and arduous journey of over twenty hours by train. We were exhausted and sleepy. The apartment was quite nice, a two-bedroom apartment for less than 10,000 yuan a month.
