I recently heard a line on TV that said many people struggle to find balance amidst complexity and subtlety because happiness is like walking on thin ice.
That one sentence struck a chord deep within me.
For me, happiness truly is like that porcelain piece in the film—it appears warm and substantial, but in reality, it's as thin as a cicada's wing. Holding it in one's hands makes one tremble with fear, as if standing on the edge of an abyss, as if walking on thin ice.
Reflecting carefully, what exactly is the happiness I want? I've always felt that what I want is simple: to meet someone, get to know them, fall in love, understand them, and stay together—a harmonious and respectful marriage, sharing the mundane realities of life, and spending a lifetime together.
But truly finding someone who understands and cherishes you is so difficult, so very difficult…
