I first encountered couples-based dating services three years ago, and so far I've successfully met two single men. Both men have been very good; they both like my wife a lot and send her gifts on holidays and her birthday, which touches her deeply. She also sends them red envelopes or local specialties on their birthdays and during holidays. I've seen many single men complaining online that some couples treat them like criminals, interrogating them with all sorts of questions, and that some couples ask for gifts when they meet again, saying such couples are very rude. Regarding this, I'd like to share my opinion. Personally, if it were a casual encounter, I would suggest splitting the costs equally, or having the person traveling to the other person's location pay. If it were a threesome, it would be reasonable for the single man to pay. Of course, if you're thoughtful, a decent gift upon meeting is appropriate. Because we are a married couple, not just some random woman we meet for casual fun. We're not short of money; we're both highly educated and have decent jobs. We don't need a few dollars. We're just looking for a psychological balance. Many single men think couples should do this: book a hotel room, then call them and say, "Come over, we're here." It's best not to eat, since I've already eaten. Many will even emphasize they're virgins. What for? Do you want me to give you a red envelope afterwards? We've had single men before who I specifically asked to buy a pair of 10cm high heels costing over 1000 yuan. Actually, my wife never wears high heels. I did it on purpose; I wanted to show them there's no such thing as a free lunch. Although I transferred 500 yuan to each of them afterward for the hotel room fee, that was my choice; I felt it was a fair exchange, and I wouldn't be at a disadvantage. But if you buy a 500 yuan gift for my wife, I'll block you—it's that simple. Conversely, some single men come up with gifts costing thousands or even tens of thousands of yuan, and then say, "Let's get down to business." I'd suggest they go find those "green tea bitches" in the university town; we're not right for them.
