Some situations after my wife went to work

    page views:1  Publication date:2018-10-04
My wife has been working for a month now, and everything seems normal.
One day, while she was washing up, her phone was still on. I glanced at WeChat and saw a male colleague from her company saying he was bored and asking what she was doing. My wife didn't reply, but he kept asking. Perhaps she's a bit reserved, because she didn't respond. Looking at the chat history, her occasional replies were all work-related. In one conversation, my wife asked him for her work summary, and he jokingly said, "What's the rush? If you're in such a hurry, I'll come beat you up tomorrow!" My wife replied with a tapping emoji and then didn't say anything more. I think this male colleague is probably quite young; maybe there'll be something going on later.
Also, my wife and her boss often chat on WeChat about work and HR matters, and she doesn't hide it from me. She even told me that a newly hired manager asked her for her opinions on other colleagues, and she said this manager is quite nice, often addressing her by the last two characters of her name. Of course, other managers also chat with her on WeChat about work, sometimes quite late at night.
As for the company boss, she didn't mention him to me, only that he doesn't come to the company often, and that she has to clean his office if he does. She was also temporarily put in charge of the company's cashier work because they haven't hired an accountant yet.
Before the National Day holiday, her company had a dinner party, and she only drank half a glass of red wine. No one from the management or colleagues urged her to drink more, and she went home afterward without any further activities.

Overall, everything seemed stable, but perhaps change was brewing beneath the surface.
