Life in Lijiang is about letting time slip away freely; it's like taking a snail's walk, even the stray dogs on the street won't bother you! Many guesthouses have signs saying "Free to daydream, sunbathe, leisurely read a book, buy groceries at Zhongyi Market in the afternoon to cook at the guesthouse, and listen to music at a bar in the evening – this is life! In Lijiang, I recommend a singer named Xiaosong, a lead singer with a deep, slightly husky voice. His go-to bar is "Jianghu" (江湖). His song "A Dream" once brought me to tears... Living in Lijiang allows you to shed your pretenses and see your true self. Of course, when talking about Lijiang, one can't ignore the topic of "romantic encounters." There's a story in Lijiang about someone who met love there, but their relationship only lasted a few days before they had to go their separate ways. So the woman waited for him in Lijiang, and that wait lasted twenty years. She never gave up, until one day, when her hair was white and her youth had faded, she finally met her beloved.
