Before I knew it, I'd been in Nanning for a whole month.
The first two weeks were hectic. I'd just started a new job and was looking for an apartment, so I added a lot of people. But I guess my luck with making friends was bad back then, because not many accepted my friend requests.
Some friends left messages asking me to add them, but they left fake QQ numbers,

of curiosity without any real interaction. In the last two weeks, I had a bit more free time, and I started getting a few friend requests every week, as well as friends from different platforms adding me on their own initiative.
Let me record a few that stood out a little.
(I) A Single Woman Suddenly Appeared
A single woman added me, saying her boyfriend was sexually frigid, while she had a strong libido and felt she couldn't continue the relationship. She was very upset and wanted to break up, along with a bunch of other miscellaneous things she told me.
At first, I thought she was a scammer, but as we chatted, I realized she wasn't. She never mentioned sending red envelopes or anything like that, and even proposed dating me and getting married. The conversation even went further and further away from that, and she told me that she was a teacher and it wouldn't be convenient for her to go out and swap partners with me often after marriage. But she was afraid that I would not want to date her anymore, so she said she could accept swapping partners, but I had to be moderate... Shocked, I argued with her for a long time, and finally told her not to think too far ahead. If she really had this idea, she should break up and deal with everything first before talking to me. I didn't want to cause trouble.
(It has been about two weeks now, and there has been no new reply. I'll just treat it as idle chatter for now. There's no loss, after all, we only chatted for one morning.)
(II) The guy who is impotent and wants to borrow my sperm.
He added me first. I thought it was just a normal couple looking for a partner, but after chatting for two days, he started to talk about more things, including that he was impotent, that he couldn't have children after five years of marriage, and that his sister-in-law was not satisfied for a long time. He clearly told me that his sister-in-law was looking for a single man.
I sent him my photos and videos first, and then he sent me a photo of his sister-in-law. She looked alright, a normal, respectable woman, quite attractive.

Finally, he had no choice but to tell me all his parents' secrets. His
father was also impotent; he had seen his father hide medication for erectile dysfunction when he was a child, and since his father often went on business trips, his mother would bring her lovers home. He had seen other men walking around the house in their underwear when he was young, so now he wanted to see me do the same.
After discussing it with him, I helped him realize that his cuckoldry mentality was directly related to witnessing his mother's infidelity since childhood, and these experiences had a profound impact on him.
Then I even helped him come up with a logical framework for communicating with his mother and wife. He kept dragging his feet, saying he would wait until the end of the month when his sister-in-law was free. Then at the beginning of the month, he contacted me again and said that the communication didn't go well, his sister-in-law wasn't as enthusiastic as before, and her attitude was very bad.
(There has been no follow-up so far, and I'm too lazy to deal with him. I'm treating it as just empty talk for now. His ideas are very bold. My years of experience in making friends have taught me that I shouldn't have too high expectations of him. It turns out that my judgment was correct.)
(III) The fake cuckold who stood me up
I didn't have high expectations for the two above, so I wasn't disappointed.
I really wanted to curse this guy because we had made an appointment, but he stood me up.
When we first started talking, he brought up the idea of becoming a cuckold, and his requirement was to serve me and his girlfriend during sex.
But at the end, he told me that he had only been with his girlfriend for three months. I immediately thought it was unreliable. How could he possibly have sex with someone without any emotional foundation?
Then he suggested that he couldn't develop his relationship with his girlfriend right now, so he wanted to spend money to find someone else. He would pay for it, and I would help him find someone.
Seeing how eager and "sincere" he was, and considering my recent bad luck with making friends, I figured he was the most likely to be able to get things done, so I went to talk to him. He also said he could take several days off at the end of the month and would come to Nanning then.
It took me two or three days and I spent some money to "buy" him a date, but he actually found a suitable person, so I immediately shared the good news with him. I even ordered condoms and other things needed for the activity, just waiting for him to come. (I thought I had finally met someone sincere who I could meet, so I fully trusted him and was willing to invest some time and money first.)
Then on July 27th, this guy said he would come to Nanning in the next couple of days, but then he disappeared and I haven't been able to contact him since.
(I was very angry at the time, but now I've come to terms with it. I've been in this circle for a few years and I know that when you first start out in a new place, you're bound to encounter this kind of trash. When I first entered the circle in Shanghai, I was also scammed out of money and stood up by people from other places.)
(IV) Fake couples (single men) who register as couple accounts.
He had a couple's account with two pictures of voluptuous women. In June, he posted a very artsy status update saying he wanted to find a single man to serve his unsatisfied wife.
I added him, chatted a few times, and sent him my forum nickname and profile. He immediately stopped replying. It was daytime, so I assumed he was busy and didn't think much of it.
Two days later, I found he had deleted me. That's ridiculous.
Then, a few days later, a single man from Nanning viewed my posts and profile, messaged me, and even sent me his QQ number. I checked, and it was exactly the same QQ number as the couple who deleted me.
(Isn't this guy just insane? He registered a couple's account to chat, added me, deleted me after a few serious conversations, and then a few days later used a single man's account to look at my previous activity logs and wanted to add me back... What was he thinking?)

Of course, there were also a few rude people who deleted me quickly after a few words, I don't remember them, so I won't mention them.
Currently, only two couples seem to be active.
One couple was from Nanning. I had seen their profile; they were experienced and currently traveling in Northwest China with their child. They arranged to meet me after their trip.
The other couple was from Guilin and also had some experience. We chatted for two days, getting to know each other better. He offered to meet me after he finished his current project. If it worked out, we could hang out;
if not, we could just be friends and not interfere with each other's lives. (See? Really experienced couples, those who are genuinely likely to meet offline, will start thinking about meeting up after chatting for a while. Those fake couples, newbies, those who haven't developed a relationship with their wives but are just good at online chatting, always rambling online and rarely online—we barely exchange a few words every ten days or so—and many even have inactive accounts that never reply—these types are unlikely to meet up.)
