Men who have thoughts of having extramarital affairs often develop these thoughts after marriage, especially after having children. It's often a way to add spice to their lives. This can express a lack of companionship, add some color to their wives' lonely lives, or prevent their wives from having secret relationships with others, thus establishing a relationship with their wives through other men. Fourth, men with this mindset often experience some difficulty in their sex life, gradually becoming unable to satisfy their wives' desires. Out of a desire to avoid making their wives endure unfulfilled longing, or out of a male desire for conquest, they seek out other, stronger men to conquer their wives, thus gaining a sense of conquest themselves. Fifth, another type of man may have had many previous sexual partners and experienced the sweetness of sex with different women. Out of a compensatory mentality, or because his wife has only ever been intimate with him, he wants to give her a different kind of sexual experience and satisfy her increasingly strong libido, so he encourages her to have relationships with other men. Sixth, yet another type of man may have a wife who is attractive, capable, and of good character and integrity. To avoid future regret over his wife's infidelity, he might as well have relationships with others with his knowledge, or out of a desire to show off and let others experience his wife's charm.
