"Coming, coming!" my best friend exclaimed as soon as she sat down. "She didn't come last month, I thought she'd gotten pregnant, it scared me to death!"
"If she got pregnant, she'd just have the baby, what's there to be afraid of?"
I replied casually.
"Easy for you to say. If you really get pregnant, I wouldn't even know who the father is." She had a nonchalant attitude.
I laughed and said, "Just register the baby under your husband's name, and whoever the baby looks like will be the father, it's that simple."
"Hey, you're quite experienced. Is your son registered under your husband's name? They don't look alike." Seeing her sarcastic tone, I gave her a hard pinch and said, "They don't look alike, but they're biologically related. My husband knows that because I was a virgin when we got married, and I got pregnant soon after. My son's nose and mouth look like mine, and his body looks like my dad's. He's burly and strong, like he'd be good at farm work. Maybe it's because of more of my family's genes."

We both burst out laughing. Having such a close friend with whom I can talk about anything is truly a blessing.
