Chapter Four

Dawn was just breaking, and I was still fast asleep. Last night's frenzy had left me sleeping like a log. I held Mei'er in my arms, her nipples still in my mouth, while Xiao Mei and Xiao Yu were pressed tightly against me from behind, and Xiao Yun was holding my penis in both hands. This was my sleeping position last night, and it hadn't changed at all.

"Bang, bang..."

A knock suddenly sounded at the door.

"Damn it, who's disturbing my peaceful sleep so early?"

I cursed angrily.

But I still had to get up and open the door. Gently separating my face from Mei'er's chest, I pulled my penis out of Xiao Yun's hands, put on my clothes, covered them with the blanket, and then went to the door.

Opening the door, to my surprise, stood an elderly woman I didn't recognize. She was short and stout, wearing thick glasses that looked like they were from a heavily plowed field, with gray hair and wrinkles crisscrossing her face like a field that had just been plowed. She was carrying several sets of clothes.

"Excuse me, are you Mr. Ike?"

"Yes, that's me. And you are..."

"I'm Mr. Morris's butler, you can call me Gianta. Here are some clothes Mr. Morris gave you."

She handed me the clothes.

"Thank you, Mr. Morris and you,"

I said.

"It's nothing, it's my duty,"

Gianta said. She remained standing in the doorway.

Seeing she showed no sign of leaving, I asked, "Is there anything else?"

"Mr. Morris asked me to help the young ladies with their toilette."

"Well... that's not necessary, they can make them themselves."

"Yes, I know, but the young ladies seem to have never worn these clothes before, they might find it difficult to put them on. So..."

I thought about it; since it was a royal tailor, the clothes would be far superior to those sailor uniforms, and besides, those noble clothes were very cumbersome to wear, it would be difficult for someone who had never worn them before.

"Alright then, please wait a moment, I'll go wake them up."

After waking the girls, I left the room, and Aunt Gianta went in.

I strolled on the deck, breathing in the fresh morning air. This used to be one of my favorite things to do.

Perhaps because this deck was mostly inhabited by nobles, none of them had the habit of waking up early, so there was hardly anyone on the deck. I held onto the railing, gazing at the sea, letting the sea breeze caress my face, enjoying its gentle massage.

After a while, a hand suddenly patted my shoulder.

"Ike, did you sleep well last night?"

I turned around and saw Captain Jardel.

"I slept very well, thank you for your concern."

"Why are you out so early?"

he asked.

"Oh, I asked Mr. Morris to make a few outfits last night, and he finished them. His butler, Aunt Gianta, just delivered them, and she's helping the maids get dressed now."

"Oh..."

The captain looked me up and down.

"This sailor's uniform really doesn't suit you very well,"

he said.

"Ah, it's alright, I'll get used to it."

"Well, I have a few outfits that I can't wear anymore. They're from when I was younger, and now my belly..."

As he spoke, he patted his protruding belly.

“I don’t need those clothes anymore,

so I’ll give them to you.” “Really? Thank you so much.”

“It’s nothing, come with me.”

The captain and I went to the captain’s cabin door, and I knocked. Aunt Gianta opened the door.

“How are you all dressed?”

I asked.

“Yes, see for yourself.”

Stepping inside, I was immediately struck by how beautiful they looked. The four women were already dressed, looking like completely different people in their aristocratic attire. All four of their clothes were made of high-quality white fabric, but the styles were all different. Xiaoyun’s long, straight black hair was paired with a low-cut, high-waisted dress with separate sleeves and a huge skirt that trailed on the ground. Oh my god, I couldn’t help but swallow hard. This dress, combined with Xiaoyun’s always cool, half-smiling expression, made her look like a fairy descended from heaven; even an angel couldn’t compare!

Then there was Xiaoyu. Her hair was different from Xiaoyun's; it was styled in a bun by Aunt Gianta, with two strands hanging naturally on either side. A pair of large, non-prescription glasses perched on her delicate nose. Her clothes were even lower-cut than Xiaoyun's, revealing almost a third of her snow-white breasts. She wore a short-sleeved top, but the buttons were undone, making her exposed breasts barely concealed, hard to look away from. Especially the aura of a knowledgeable, teacher-like woman she exuded, combined with those glasses, was a fatal attraction for men.

Xiaomei's clothes were even more outrageous. Whether it was Mr. Morris's intention or not, Xiaomei, with the most alluring figure, was given a tight-fitting outfit. Every inch of her skin was in close contact with the clothing, not a breath of air between them. The V-neckline revealed a deep cleavage, her large breasts completely filling out the garment, and even slightly compressed by it, making her nipples stand out. Her slender waist made one wonder if she could bear the weight of the pair of jade-like breasts on her chest. Her long red hair was styled into two long braids, cascading naturally over her shoulders. Although I had watered her with the seed of life several times last night, seeing her dressed like this now, I couldn't help but want to... If there weren't other people around, hehe... this girl would be in for a rough time. [Gift! But when I saw Mei'er, those feelings vanished instantly. Her slightly wavy blonde hair reached her waist, and her blue eyes were half-open, expressing her shyness. Below her high nose was a cherry-like mouth, her luscious lips tightly closed, her pink tongue occasionally darting out to lick her slightly dry lips. She was dressed in a princess outfit: a white dress with red patent leather shoes underneath, and snow-white gloves on her hands. Her cinched waist, high breasts, butterfly headdress, and shy expression—though I'd never seen a princess before, I was certain that Mei'er before me was no less beautiful. In fact, she was a work of art, a noble, beautiful, and elegant work of art that would make anyone marvel at the wonders of nature. In her presence, one felt no lust, only pure admiration; she stood there like a statue of a goddess, creating a powerful visual impact.

"So, Mr. Ike, are you satisfied?"

Aunt Gianta asked me.

"Satisfied...satisfied,"

I stammered, my eyes wide with disbelief.

At that moment, the captain beside me also stared blankly at the four stunningly beautiful girls before him; perhaps even his aged heart began to flutter.

“If there’s nothing else, I’ll take my leave.”

Aunt Gianta said, heading towards the door.

“Please wait a moment.”

The captain stopped her in time.

“Is there anything else?” she asked.

“Well, I’d like to give some of my old clothes to Ike. Could you help him try them on?”

“Sure, no problem.”

Aunt Gianta agreed.

Captain, Aunt Gianta and I went to the inner room of the captain’s cabin. The captain opened a wardrobe, which was full of clothes, many of which looked quite new.

“Pick whatever you like. These are all good clothes. Back in the day, I wore these to deal with nobles. Look how good the quality is! They still look brand new!”

I looked left and right, but I couldn’t see any clothes that would suit me.

"Auntie Gianta, you pick one out for me, I really don't know which one to choose."

Auntie Gianta came to the wardrobe, carefully rummaged through it for a while, and then picked out a black dress for me, followed by a matching shirt, bow tie, and shoes. When I stood in front of the mirror with Auntie Gianta's help, dressed in the clothes, I almost didn't recognize myself. Clothes really do make the man. Compared to the me of two days ago, dressed in that leaf-like outfit, I was like heaven and earth. Back then, I looked almost indistinguishable from a savage.

The clothes were nice, but definitely uncomfortable to wear; they felt awkward, like I was wearing a sack, making me constantly shake my neck and twist my shoulders.

"Alright, stop struggling, it'll be fine after a while. If you keep struggling, the clothes will tear."

Auntie Gianta, who was combing my hair behind me, stopped me in time. She styled my hair into a ponytail, letting it fall down my back, and then had me sit on a recliner. She shaved my beard with a razor.

When I looked in the mirror a second time, the reflection was that of a mature, composed, and impeccably polite gentleman.

"Hey, Ike, you're really something! I didn't realize you were so handsome!"

the captain said, patting my shoulder from behind.

"Hehe,"

I chuckled awkwardly. To be honest, I wasn't a fan of these clothes at all. I don't know why, but I have an instinctive aversion to nobles, and even wearing these clothes wasn't something I enjoyed. But I also knew that, given the current situation, I would definitely have to deal with many nobles, so this outfit was important and necessary. The girls were all standing behind me, their faces showing surprise.

"Wow, Big Brother, I never expected you to have this side to you,"

Xiao Mei said. It seemed that last night's "lesson" had paid off; she did remember to call me Big Brother in front of others.

“Big Brother is really good…”

Mei’er also spoke up, but she didn’t know how to praise a man.

The captain glanced at the clock on the wall and said to me, “Ike, Marquis Fernandez, Mr. Fabino and some other noble gentlemen are probably already up. They would like to talk to you. Shall we wait for you in the tea room for morning tea?”

“Okay, I’ll be right there after I get ready.”

“Alright, we’ll wait for you.”

After saying that, the captain turned and left.

“Then I’ll take my leave too.”

Aunt Gianta left afterward.

As soon as the two left, the four women immediately revealed their true colors and pounced on me. Some pulled my braids, some touched my face, some tugged at my beard, and some tugged at my clothes.

“Master, let me touch you.” “Master, let

me see you.”

“Master, let me kiss you.”

“Master…”

As a result, my straight hair, which Aunt Gianta had just combed neatly, was immediately turned into a mess again.

“Alright!”

I shouted when I finally couldn’t take it anymore, and the four women stopped.

"Finish it for me,"

I said angrily.

Seeing that I was truly angry, they realized the seriousness of the situation and obediently smoothed out every wrinkle on my clothes. Eight hands work quickly, and soon my clothes were almost back to normal. Although they weren't as experienced as Aunt Gianta, for their first time dressing someone, it was quite good.

"Alright, I'm going to see those people now. I think you can come with me."

"Master, we..."

Xiao Mei frowned, looking at her sisters.

I knew they didn't want to interact with strangers, but what had happened indicated their identities were definitely questionable—perhaps from some noble family. I couldn't prevent them from meeting outsiders. So, I needed to teach them some social skills as soon as possible to avoid any trouble later.

"I know you're afraid of strangers, but can you hide today, can you hide tomorrow? Even if you hide on the ship, where will you hide on the mainland? My darlings, be good, listen to me, I'll stay by your side. Those people aren't monsters, they won't eat you."

I encouraged them.

The girls looked at each other, and finally Xiaomei spoke up: "Master, it's a promise, you can't leave us, so we'll go with you."

I pulled Xiaomei into my arms and kissed her lips tightly until I felt she was having trouble breathing before I let go.

Xiaomei backed away, clutching her chest and panting.

"Master, you're so mean, what are you doing?"

"Do you think I'll leave you?"

I asked her with a sly smile.

"Look at you, you've messed up my clothes."

Although she said that, she had a sweet smile on her face.

"Hmph, what did you do to me just now? Now you're getting your comeuppance!"

I said, while helping her straighten the wrinkled parts I had just made, of course, taking advantage of her as well. After satisfying my desires, I released her. By then, Xiao Mei's cheeks were flushed, and her breathing was slightly heavy.

"Alright, little girl, stop being so aroused. Let's go,"

I said, patting her bottom.

She gave me a resentful look, as if to say, "If it weren't for you, would I be able to do this!"

Led by me, we headed towards the tea room. According to incomplete statistics, the rate of people turning their heads

to look at us was as high as 100%... well, it was impossible to count. Everyone was staring at us, or rather, at the four beautiful women behind me. Men were fascinated, and women were burning with jealousy. Walking under such intense scrutiny made me feel very awkward, just like when I first put on this outfit.

Halfway there, I saw First Officer Laurie and quickly went up to greet him, which at least eased my current embarrassment.

"Hi, Laurie, good morning!"

"Good...good morning,"

Laurie replied, but he kept his head down.

"Are you looking for something?"

"Ah, no, no,"

he replied hastily. He tried to lift his head as he spoke, but his gaze immediately lowered again the moment it met the four women, and his face flushed red. I

then realized that he was avoiding looking at the four beautiful women to prevent a repeat of yesterday's awkward situation.

"We're going to have morning tea. Aren't you coming with us?"

"Ah, no, no, I have other things to do."

The first mate disappeared from our sight as if fleeing for his life.

Of course, he kept glancing in the direction of the four women out of the corner of his eye as he left; I don't know if he saw them clearly.

When we arrived at the tea room, the waiter opened the door, and I found it almost full, with at least two or three hundred people. The previously noisy tea room suddenly became extremely quiet because of our arrival. Everyone stared at us.

I stepped forward and said to everyone, "Good morning, everyone." Before I said this, the whole scene seemed to freeze; everyone was completely still, staring at us.

After I finished speaking, it was as if someone had pressed the play button, and everyone immediately went back to their own business. Some chatted, some played cards, some drank tea. After a moment of stillness, the tea room returned to its usual hustle and bustle. As I led the four women through, people instinctively made way, watching us walk towards the innermost room. Reaching the door, I knocked. The captain opened the door and invited us in. Inside were the same people from yesterday: the somewhat excited Marquis Fernandez Allen, the old goat with a concerned expression, and Mr. Morris with red eyes. I first approached Mr. Morris and thanked him, "I'm so sorry, Mr. Morris, for making you stay up all night for them." "It's nothing. As a tailor, staying up all night is a common occurrence. How do the clothes fit?" he said, glancing at the women behind me. Xiaoyun and the others had kept their heads down the whole way, their faces almost touching their ample breasts, until they entered the house. Only then did they raise their heads and give Mr. Morris, who had made the clothes for them, a grateful smile. "Oh, to see the smiles of these ladies whose beauty rivals that of goddesses, it would be worth staying up a few more nights," the old tailor exclaimed. The others nodded in agreement. However, I guessed that all the men present were thinking that after the goddess-like beauty, there should also be a 'devilish figure'. After we sat down, the maids watched curiously as I gently picked up my teacup, stirred it slowly with a teaspoon, took a small sip, and then placed the teacup back on the saucer. They must have found my actions incredibly strange. First, they didn't know what tea was; second, they could have finished the cup in one gulp, so why did I take a little and put it back? Actually, this was something I had just learned yesterday—when dealing with nobles, you have to learn their etiquette to avoid being looked down upon or laughed at. But the girls who had grown up on an isolated island didn't seem to understand this. First, Xiaoyun picked up the teacup, drank it all in one gulp, and then frowned. Clearly, she wasn't used to the bitter taste of the tea. I gently nudged her with my elbow and whispered, "Drink slowly." Before I could finish, Xiaoyu imitated Xiaoyun, gulping it all down, but she was even worse off—as soon as she tasted the wrong flavor, she spat it all onto the floor. What angered me most was Xiaomei. She actually spat the half-finished tea back into the cup and loudly told me, "Brother, this water is undrinkable! The color is weird, and it tastes bitter!" Seeing this, Mei'er quickly asked the captain if she could get a new cup. At this point, I was so embarrassed I didn't know where to look. And then, to make matters worse, Xiaoyun asked me, "Brother, why do you have to drink it slowly? How can I drink something so awful?" I believe that the captain, Marquis Fernandez Allen, and Mr. Morris all possessed excellent manners and composure, but they were all bowing their heads, their faces flushed, desperately trying to suppress their laughter. As for Old Goat, he was already standing by the window, looking out, too embarrassed to face us. But judging from his trembling body, he was practically laughing himself to death, just gritting his teeth to keep quiet. I helplessly stared at the ceiling, lamenting that the situation I least wanted to see had still occurred. These girls, who had been looking like goddesses just moments before, had their image shattered in an instant. Only after the waiter came and mopped the floor and replaced the four girls' glasses with fresh water did the atmosphere in the room gradually return to calm. This time, they were wiser; they imitated me, stirring the water slowly with a teaspoon, taking a small sip, and then putting the glass back. Ah, what could I say about that? "Hmm, hmm..." At an appropriate moment, the Marquis cleared his throat. "Mr. Eck, shall we continue our topic from yesterday?" "Of course, you seemed to have asked about..." "Oh, I'd like to see the jewelry your mother left you, ladies, I wonder..." the Marquis asked cautiously. I turned to them, asking with my eyes if it was permissible. The four girls, of course, obeyed me, all nodding slightly in agreement. Since I gave them the jewelry, they had kept it on their person, never taking it off. Perhaps they didn't understand the word "mother," after all, I was the only human they had ever known since childhood. However, due to the innate human affinity for one's mother, they still cherished those jewels and never parted with them. They took the jewels off their bodies and handed them to me, who then gave them to the Marquis and the others. As soon as they received the jewels, they immediately gathered together, whispering amongst themselves. After a while, the Marquis solemnly returned the jewels to me, especially noting the difference in his gaze towards the four women. Old Goat then came over, patted my shoulder, and said, "Ike, come out with me for a moment, I have something to tell you." I sensed that something important was about to happen. We went to the tea room and Old Goat and I went to the ship's railing. "Ike, how much do you know about the identities of those four ladies?" "I only know that their parents are nobles, as for anything else, I know nothing." "Right now, I can't tell you much either. I can only tell you that their identities are very special, very... You can use your own imagination." Old Goat nodded, speaking solemnly. "Imagination? Are you suggesting one of them could be a princess?" "I didn't say anything! You're just imagining things!" The old goat spread his hands, feigning innocence. "What… don't try to scare me! Back on the mainland, I'll just be a poor boy. What if one of them really is a princess? What will I do?" "They're princesses? What does that have to do with you?" "Come on, stop teasing me. You old folks, who can't see the connection between us?"

"Besides, we stayed together last night, so stop with the nonsense. Just tell me what you want me to do!" The old goat chuckled, patting my shoulder. "It's good that you understand. I hope you can persuade the four young ladies to stay with the Marquis's wife for the next few days, before we reach the mainland. This is for your own good, and I won't say more; you understand."

"Where will I stay, and where will the Marquis stay?"

"You'll stay with me for the next few days. As for the Marquis, there are some empty rooms on the ship; he won't have to sleep on the deck, don't worry!"

I replied with a smile, "No problem, I completely agree. But could you tell me what those girls' identities are? I really want to know."

"I've already said, use your imagination. This matter is very important; I can't give you anything specific. You'll have to use your own imagination." "

After saying that, he pulled me back to the tea room. Once back, we exchanged only a few words before everyone dispersed, each lost in their own thoughts. My primary problem was how to persuade the four women to leave me for a while and live with the Marquis's wife.

'Come find me once you've convinced them,'

the captain said, leaving me alone.

Facing the four women, I was extremely frustrated. I had just promised them I wouldn't be separated from them, but now I had to discuss this with them. This made me lose face. Honestly, I'd never broken a promise to them before; it seemed I was going to have to go back on my word this time.

Sullenly, I returned to the captain's cabin. As soon as I entered, a pair of soft little hands covered my eyes.

Without guessing, I knew only the mischievous Xiao Mei could do such a thing.

'Xiao Mei, stop it, I'm annoyed.'

Xiao Mei's innocent face immediately appeared before me. 'What's wrong, Master? What's bothering you?'" "

I..."

I really didn't know what to say, and my hesitant expression puzzled the maid.

"Master, what is it?"

Xiao Mei continued.

"I want to discuss something with you, I don't know if you agree?"

"Master, just say it, we will definitely agree."

"Then I'll say it... You can't live with me anymore for the next few days, you will move to the Marquis's place and live with the Marquis's wife."

"What, Master, don't you want us anymore?"

"Master, no, we want to stay with you."

"Why? I don't want to go."

"We just want to be with Master!"

As I expected, these words immediately caused the four maids to erupt in a cacophony of chatter.

"Alright."

I shouted suddenly.

"Are you the master, or am I the master? I tell you to go, so you have to go, stop talking nonsense." "

I said angrily.

The maids were all stunned. I had never yelled at them like that before. As a result, even Xiaoyun, who was usually the strongest, had tears in her eyes and looked pitiful. The other three maids' tears also streamed down their faces.

"Alright, stop crying. Pack your things and come with me."

I knew this was not the time to be soft-hearted. Anyway, there was no room for negotiation. If I softened my heart, I didn't know how much more I would have to talk to them.

Actually, they didn't have much to pack. Apart from the clothes that Mr. Morris had made for them, they had nothing. The four of them, with their goldfish eyes, came with me to the room of Marquis Fernandez Allen.

Old Captain Jardell was already waiting there. After greeting the maids, I knocked on the Marquis's door, and the Marquis himself opened the door.

"Welcome, distinguished guests."

His face wore his usual smile. Ike

knew perfectly well that these words weren't meant for him, so he tactfully stepped aside, letting the four maids walk ahead. Upon entering the living room, a woman in magnificent attire was already waiting.

The Marquis stepped forward, took the woman's hand, and said to the others, "Let me introduce you, this is my wife." I

stepped forward and shook her hand politely, while the maids looked at me blankly. Fortunately, the Marquis and his wife didn't mind. Then the Marquis introduced us to his wife. The Marquis's wife warmly received the maids, while the captain, the Marquis, and I left the room to let the women chat.

This was what I wanted. The maids had lived with me since they were little and knew nothing about etiquette. If they returned to the mainland, who knows what kind of embarrassing things they would do. These few days, I'll let them learn some etiquette from the Marquis's wife; it will be very beneficial for them. I also need to learn some aristocratic manners during these days to be fully prepared for returning to the mainland.

"Captain, at our current speed, how much longer will it take to reach the mainland?"

the Marquis asked.

"About a week. You know, the wind isn't very favorable right now. If the wind direction changes, our schedule will also change. As for whether the wind will change direction, well..."

Captain Jardell looked at the Queen and said, "I'm afraid only God knows." "

Over the next week, the wind direction didn't change as the captain predicted. Although we weren't sailing with the wind, the voyage was relatively smooth, without any major storms. During this time, I also took the opportunity to learn some social etiquette from Marquis Fernandez Allen, so that I wouldn't be a laughingstock upon returning to the mainland. In my spare time, I summoned Xiaoqing and Xiaobing to keep me company—of course, mostly physical 'chatting.'

Watching them both reach multiple orgasms each time, as a man, a sense of conquest welled up within me .

'I really hope this trip never reaches its destination,'

Xiaobing said, licking my penis.

I lay comfortably on the bed and asked her, 'Why?'

'Ugh…'

I deliberately thrust my hips forward, inserting my penis into Xiaobing's throat, silencing her.

'You're so annoying, Master…you always do this to me…I won't give it to you anymore…'

Xiaobing said after getting rid of me.

'Won't give it to me what? Tell me!'" "

I stroked her face as I asked.

Xiao Bing shyly turned her face down and once again swallowed my penis deeply into her mouth. Her nimble tongue skillfully traced the head of my penis, and the repeated friction gave me immense pleasure, to the point that I couldn't help but moan, 'Ah, Xiao Bing... good... yes, right there... faster, faster...'

My hands tightly gripped the back of her head and pulled her towards my abdomen. Xiao Bing's hands also tightly embraced my buttocks. As my penis penetrated deeper and deeper into Xiao Bing's mouth, finally, an uncontrollable pleasure surged through my mind. My millions of offspring broke through all obstacles and shot into Xiao Bing's esophagus.

'Oh...'

Having released all my desires, I felt my eyelids become incredibly heavy, and I drifted off to sleep."

Before I knew it, a week had passed. That morning, I was enjoying my breakfast in the dining room when Captain Jardel, pipe in hand, sat down beside me. As I ate, I asked, "What's up, Captain?"

"We're almost at shore,"

the captain said, exhaling smoke rings.

"Really? When?"

"A few more hours, around noon."

"Oh, that's wonderful!"

I exclaimed excitedly. It had been over ten years since I'd left the mainland. I could barely remember what it looked like. It was so good to be back.

The captain continued, "We just released carrier pigeons to report your situation and those girls' whereabouts to the mainland.

I came to let you know so you could prepare yourself." "Okay, thank you, Captain,"

I said, continuing my breakfast.

The captain stood up, patted my shoulder, and strode out of the dining room.

I didn't know what the captain meant by "prepare yourself." Perhaps he'd received some information and was trying to hint at it to me. Oh well, whatever, things will work out. I'll see.

After breakfast, I went to play cards with Marquis Allen again. Don't think that playing cards is just a form of entertainment; in fact, in aristocratic circles, it's an important social activity. Many people like to discuss important matters over cards, especially our current emperor of the Bunker Empire... Gary de Adeno Bunker, who is particularly fond of this form of entertainment, and many important national affairs are decided at the card table. Therefore, this trend permeated the entire country. Nobles used card games as an important social tool, often discussing matters in a relaxed atmosphere at the card table, frequently achieving unexpected results (just like how Chinese people like to discuss things at the dinner table). "Playing cards... it's difficult, it really is, but it's also quite easy. The key lies in your ability to read people,"

the Marquis said, taking a sip of tea. "While your card skills are important, it's even more important to stay alert at all times. Don't assume everyone is just having fun. You must pay attention to what others say; perhaps important information is hidden in a casual remark."

I nodded in agreement. The Marquis continued, "Or when you need to express something to someone, express it tactfully. Never speak the truth; nobles dislike those who are naive and insincere."

"What do you mean? Does that mean I can't express my thoughts? How can others know what I'm going to say?"

I asked, puzzled.

"It's very simple. Let me give you an example. Suppose you fancy a nobleman's sugarcane plantation and want to buy it, but you don't know what he thinks. You can invite him to play cards, but don't directly state your intentions at the table. You can start by mentioning the weather."

"The weather?"

I was completely confused. "What does that have to do with anything?"

I asked. "Of course, it does, and it's very important.

Listen to me. You can say the weather is great this year, the sugarcane must be growing well, then look at the man and say, 'I heard you own a sugarcane plantation,' and he'll definitely answer 'Yes.' Then you can invite him to your place for tea a few days later, or whatever other excuse you use. He'll understand what's going on." "Oh."

I nodded, seemingly understanding. I really didn't understand what the Marquis was saying, but since he said so, I'd just do as he said.

After a morning of this, I finally realized I had absolutely no talent in this area. And there were always many things that could distract me, like lunch.

When the Marquis saw me wolfing down my food, he frowned, shook his head, and said, "Ike, you..."

After I finished my lunch at lightning speed, burping and picking my teeth, I asked the Marquis, "Is something wrong?"

"Ah...nothing, you...continue."

The Marquis said helplessly. "Oh, waiter, another one."

Not quite full, I gladly accepted the suggestion.

The Marquis: "..."

Chapter Six.

Marquis Allen and I went to the bridge, and sure enough, we saw a horizon appear in the distance.

"Thank goodness, we've finally arrived,"

the Marquis said.

When the ship reached the shore, it was already past 4 pm. It seems that even veteran sailors cannot accurately predict the arrival time. Captain Jardel must be very embarrassed about this. Looking from afar, it seemed that there weren't many people in the harbor to greet us. As the ship finally docked, I finally saw clearly that there were only a few groups of soldiers and some sailors in the harbor; not a single person, let alone anyone to greet us.

I nudged the Marquis beside me and asked, "Why isn't anyone here to ferry us? Is this how it usually is?"

The Marquis looked equally bewildered and replied, "I don't know. It's not usually like this. Who knows what's going on?"

The Marquis and I went down to the deck and to the ship's railing. The ladders were already in place, and some passengers were disembarking. The Marquises' wife, along with four maids, was also waiting for us. Just as we were about to disembark, Captain Jardel suddenly came over and stopped us.

"Your Excellency, Mr. Ike, please wait a moment."

After saying this, the captain hurried over and whispered something in Marquis Fernandez Allen's ear. Anyway, when the Marquis heard it, he looked surprised.

"You mean..."

The Marquis only got halfway through his sentence before the captain immediately pressed his right index finger to his lips, signaling him to be quiet.

The Marquis nodded, turned to me, and said, "Ike, you and the four ladies wait here for a moment. We'll be back to get you shortly."

I looked at the captain questioningly, but he shrugged and spread his hands, indicating he had nothing to say.

As more and more people disembarked, the old goat came over and, seeing me leaning against the railing without any intention of getting off, asked, "Hey, Ike, what are you doing standing here instead of getting off?"

I pointed at the captain with my thumb.

The captain came over and whispered something in the old goat's ear. With the same expression as Marquis Fernandez Allen earlier, the old goat hurriedly squeezed his way off, but halfway down, he suddenly remembered something and quickly turned back, shouting loudly, "Ike, don't wander off! I'll be back to get you!"

"Oh, good heavens."

What on earth had happened? I nudged the captain, trying to find out.

The captain, however, looked completely at ease, blowing smoke rings and gazing at the sky. They completely ignored me.

A little while later, Mr. Morris and Aunt Gianta also disembarked, and the same thing happened again. The difference was that this time Mr. Morris didn't say, "I'll come back for you later,"

before hurrying off.

Completely frustrated, I had no choice but to continue waiting.

"Can anyone tell me what's going on?!"

I muttered to myself.

But no one told me anything. Even after everyone had disembarked, I looked at the captain again, and he was still the same.

"Captain, if you don't tell me what's going on, I'm really leaving,"

I said, somewhat angrily.

"Don't rush, young man. You're in for a big surprise."

"A surprise?"

For me, returning to the mainland was already the biggest surprise. What else could possibly surprise me?

Just then, a majestic melody drifted in, and a square formation of soldiers, marching in perfect unison and playing various instruments, entered the dock. As I wondered what was happening, the people following behind astonished me even more. Squads of knights entered in order, their armor reflecting a dazzling silver light. Behind these knights, numbering several hundred, was a carriage drawn by eight horses. Eight pure white horses, I was certain they weren't stray. On either side of the carriage were two squads of knights clad in golden armor, their helmets adorned with iridescent feathers.

The carriage itself seemed to be carrying something that reflected various colors of light.

"This…"

I asked the captain, pointing to the convoy. "What is this?"

"What is this?"

the captain countered.

"Young man, look closely, this is the royal guard,"

the captain said with a smile.

"Royal Guard? What's that?"

My mind was in a daze, and I didn't react for a moment.

"That means... His Majesty the Emperor is here,"

the captain said, enunciating each word clearly.

"The Emperor..."

My mouth was agape, wide enough to fit an apple. And it remained open for a long time. I was just a farmer's son. Although my master was a nationally renowned magician, most of the people I encountered were magicians. I rarely saw nobles, let alone an emperor. I believe everyone who sees such a great figure for the first time reacted similarly to me.

"Don't be surprised, come with me,"

the captain said, pulling me off the ship. The maids followed behind.

Stepping off the ship, I saw the emperor had already alighted from his carriage and sat on a large chair. Around him, besides the knights, were many other people. We walked towards the carriage under the gaze of hundreds of people. This feeling made me very uncomfortable, and as we got closer, I unconsciously lowered my head. And with each step forward, I could hear my heart pounding.

Finally, we reached the Emperor, and I knelt down with the captain. The four maids, having learned etiquette over the past week, also knelt down with us.

"Stand up,"

a slightly aged voice said.

I stood up stiffly, my hands trembling with nervousness.

"Don't be nervous, young man, raise your head and let me see what you look like,"

the voice said again.

Only then did I dare to raise my head, seeing the ruler of this country clearly for the first time.

My first impression of him was that he was somewhat overweight, with graying hair and a beard, indicating he was around 50 years old. His face beneath the crown was unremarkable; his eyes were slightly narrowed, with noticeable wrinkles at the corners, and his nose was somewhat flat. His skin, however, was very fair, suggesting he took good care of himself. If it weren't for the slight air of authority in his eyes, I would have thought he was a kind old man selling pork at a roadside stall.

Seeing my appearance, he nodded slightly.

"Then, ladies, please raise your heads as well,"

he continued.

When the four people looked up, the emperor and those around him couldn't help but gasp in surprise.

Of course, as the emperor, he regained his composure in less than a second. He nodded while muttering something under his breath. Then, with a gentle wave of his hand, a thin old man bent down beside him, and the emperor whispered something in his ear. The old man listened and nodded.

Then, with a wave of the emperor's hand, the old man hurriedly left.

The emperor rose from his throne and said, "I would like to hear about your affairs, but it is inconvenient to talk here. Please come with me to my bedchamber."

With that, he got into his carriage.

After the emperor and his entourage left, the thin old man who had just left returned in a carriage drawn by four black horses, which stopped in front of us. The old man got out of the carriage and said to us, "Mr. Eck and the four ladies, greetings. I am the Royal Steward, Augustus. Please get in."

He then gestured with both hands.

"Hello, Mr. Augustus."

After shaking hands with him, I and the four maids got into the carriage.

It had been many years since I last rode in a carriage. Being able to ride in one again after so many years, especially in such a luxurious one, filled me with excitement. The spacious carriage was entirely covered in velvet, soft and smooth to the touch, and the seats were wide enough to be used as beds. I leaned back comfortably, squinting my eyes, enjoying this rare experience. The maids, on the other hand, were curiously fidgeting and pulling at each other, completely lacking any ladylike manners. It seems a week of etiquette instruction couldn't compare to their natural instincts developed over the past decade.

Not long after, the carriage slowly came to a stop. Augustus knocked on the door and said, "Mr. Eck, we've arrived. Please get out."

Stepping out of the carriage, I realized we had arrived in front of a massive building. The pure white building displayed its nobility and splendor. Standing before it, an overwhelming aura pressed down upon me, making me feel an involuntary sense of pressure. Dozens of stone pillars, seemingly reaching straight to the sky, supported the building.

Each one was as thick as four or five people could hug. Gazing at this magnificent human-made structure, I was stunned.

"Mr. Ike, please don't stand there, His Majesty the Emperor is still waiting,"

Augustus reminded me promptly.

"Oh...oh...let's go..."

I hurriedly walked inside.

"This way, we can only enter through the side door."

Seeing me head towards the main entrance, Augustus reminded me again.

"Okay, okay."

I didn't dare to wander off and had no choice but to follow him inside.

After passing through several palace floors, we finally arrived at the Emperor's reception room.

"Please sit down, everyone. His Majesty the Emperor will be here soon,"

Augustus said and then left. Immediately, someone brought tea and pastries. The maids, as always, refused the tea. However, they certainly wouldn't let the delicious pastries pass them by.

I don't know if the clock in the reception room was broken, or if the steward simply had no sense of time. His so-called "quick" turned into a half-hour wait before the Emperor finally strolled in at a leisurely pace. Behind him were the familiar Marquis Fernandez Allen and "Old Goat" Fabino. I was about to stand up when he immediately placed his hand on my shoulder, discouraging me to sit down. "Don't be nervous, young man," the Emperor said.

"This is my private reception room. No need for such formalities." Only after everyone was seated did the Emperor speak: "Ike, I heard you are a survivor of the 'Princess Maria.' Is that true?" "Yes, Your Majesty," I replied.

"Hmm, I'm very interested in your story. Could you retell it to me again, about your experiences with these four young ladies over the years?"

"Of course, no problem, it would be my pleasure."

For the next few hours, I recounted the story I had prepared—the same story I had told the Marquis and his men before. This time, I was much more fluent, so I finished before midnight. The listeners listened with great interest, while the four maids were already fast asleep on the sofa beside me.

(When we were on the island, we always went to sleep as soon as it got dark.) After I finished, the Emperor, like the Marquis and his men before, asked to see the jewelry left by the maids' mothers. I opened my personal jewelry box and took out the pieces. The Emperor and his steward, Augustus, should have a good eye for such things. Sure enough, as they examined the jewelry one by one, they suddenly seemed to discover something precious; their eyes lit up, and the Emperor's hand trembled as he held the jewelry. He was muttering something under his breath, clearly very excited. Meanwhile, Marquis Fernandez and the old goat were also watching intently, as if it were extremely important. After a long while, the emperor reluctantly returned the jewelry to me.

"Ike, I'll be returning to Bunks City in a couple of days. Come with me; I think I now know the identities of these young ladies."

The emperor extended an invitation, and I had no reason to refuse.

"Yes, Your Majesty. I also wish to see the place where I used to live,"

I replied. At least my willingness to return pleased the emperor. The conversation ended there. For the next two days, the emperor attended some important ceremony or meeting and did not appear. Augustus arranged my accommodations.

As for the four maids, they had been relegated to a separate place after our conversation that day. I hadn't seen them since.

Bored, I suddenly realized I hadn't chatted with Ah Qi for many days. But I called him repeatedly without response. I wondered where he had gone. Perhaps he had left in anger because I hadn't spoken to him for so long?

But probably not. This guy used to follow me around like a leech; he wouldn't leave me willingly. Maybe something came up and he left.

When the Emperor's carriage departed from Banks, I got back into the same carriage I'd ridden in before, following a distance behind the Emperor's procession. The journey from Banks to Bunx wasn't very long, only about two days.

I basically slept for two days in the soft carriage. Anyway, there was nothing to do, no news from the maids, and nothing to talk about with Xiao Bing and Xiao Qing. I couldn't practice magic in the carriage either. So I just passed the time by sleeping. And so, I waited in my dreams for the turning point of my future destiny.
